Mega Edition: JP Morgan And Their Internal Epstein Report (10/29/26) · The Epstein Chronicles

• 0:00
Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
• 0:07
Speaker 1: The Wall Street Journal has a new report out telling
• 0:10
Speaker 1: you everything that, well, we already know. That the financial
• 0:15
Speaker 1: sector has been lying about their relationship with Jeffrey Epstein
• 0:20
Speaker 1: for all of these years. And it's not just Jeff Staley.
• 0:24
Speaker 1: It's not just Leon Black. It's a whole lot of
• 0:27
Speaker 1: these people who are enriching themselves during Jeffrey Epstein's criminal run.
• 0:32
Speaker 1: And none of them have been held responsible for what
• 0:35
Speaker 1: they've been up to. And while that's not going to change,
• 0:38
Speaker 1: at least not during this civil lawsuit, the more we
• 0:41
Speaker 1: can expose the financial sector for the dirtbags they are,
• 0:45
Speaker 1: the better off we're all going to be. So staying
• 0:48
Speaker 1: in tune with that song, we have an article from
• 0:50
Speaker 1: the Daily Mail talking about how J.P. Morgan's top bankers
• 0:55
Speaker 1: were meeting with Jeffrey Epstein multiple times even after he
• 0:59
Speaker 1: was a convicted pedophile. This article was published by thedailymail.com
• 1:06
Speaker 1: and the headline, J.P. Morgan's top bankers met with pedophile
• 1:11
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein multiple times at his Upper East Side townhouse
• 1:16
Speaker 1: until 2017, despite saying it shut his accounts after his
• 1:20
Speaker 1: conviction in 2013. This article was authored by Miles Dilworth.
• 1:27
Speaker 1: JP Morgan bosses were meeting with pedophile Jeffrey Epstein at
• 1:32
Speaker 1: his Manhattan townhouse until 2017. Despite the bank claiming it
• 1:37
Speaker 1: shut his accounts after his conviction in 2013, it has
• 1:41
Speaker 1: been claimed. There's no doubt that they were all still
• 1:44
Speaker 1: hanging out. We've talked about it for how long? It
• 1:48
Speaker 1: was very clandestine and Lord knows what the hell they
• 1:51
Speaker 1: were doing out at Zorro Ranch. Nobody wants to touch that.
• 1:54
Speaker 1: Nobody ever wants to talk about that. But if you
• 1:57
Speaker 1: think that they weren't having their little jerk-off parties over
• 2:02
Speaker 1: at Zorro Ranch, you're missing the whole entire script here.
• 2:06
Speaker 1: It wasn't just the townhouse. It wasn't just down in
• 2:09
Speaker 1: the Virgin Islands. And the reason he got that ranch
• 2:13
Speaker 1: down in New Mexico, well, one of the main reasons anyway,
• 2:16
Speaker 1: is because it's so secluded. And with it being so secluded,
• 2:20
Speaker 1: him and the rest of his sick degenerate buddies could
• 2:23
Speaker 1: get up to whatever it is they were getting up
• 2:25
Speaker 1: to out at Zorro Ranch. The Wall Street giant continued
• 2:30
Speaker 1: treating Epstein like a star client following his conviction, and
• 2:34
Speaker 1: despite repeated warnings from its own employees, it is alleged.
• 2:39
Speaker 1: Justin Nelson, one of Epstein's bankers at J.P. Morgan, had
• 2:42
Speaker 1: around six meetings at the pedophile's Upper East Side townhouse
• 2:47
Speaker 1: between 2014 and 2017, sources told the Wall Street Journal.
• 2:53
Speaker 1: Now look, just because you're having meetings as a banker,
• 2:56
Speaker 1: doesn't mean you're engaging in the abuse. But you're absolutely
• 3:00
Speaker 1: a liar and you're trying to whitewash your relationship with Epstein.
• 3:05
Speaker 1: And it's not because you know it was wrong to
• 3:08
Speaker 1: enable that dude, but they simply didn't care. They cared
• 3:11
Speaker 1: about profits, not people. They cared about securing more dollars
• 3:16
Speaker 1: for the bank and they cared about what Jeffrey Epstein
• 3:19
Speaker 1: could continue to make flow through those doors as far
• 3:23
Speaker 1: as clients and as far as money. Because remember, everybody's
• 3:27
Speaker 1: getting a little taste. All of these people involved here,
• 3:30
Speaker 1: all of these bankers that are going over to Epstein's house,
• 3:33
Speaker 1: they're all getting a little taste of this money. John Duffy,
• 3:37
Speaker 1: who ran the firm's private bank, met Epstein at his
• 3:40
Speaker 1: property in April 2013, the sources claimed. A month later, J.P.
• 3:45
Speaker 1: Morgan allegedly renewed an authorization allowing Epstein to borrow money
• 3:51
Speaker 1: despite warnings about his unusual finances. So what that means
• 3:55
Speaker 1: is the auditing department, the risk department, they took a
• 3:59
Speaker 1: look at what was going on and they flagged it
• 4:03
Speaker 1: as an account that was possibly up to illegal activity
• 4:08
Speaker 1: or up to structuring or whatever it was. And the
• 4:12
Speaker 1: bosses over here, Mr. Nelson and the rest of them,
• 4:16
Speaker 1: They decided it would be a good idea to ignore
• 4:19
Speaker 1: all of their procedures that they have in place to
• 4:21
Speaker 1: make sure that accounts like this are flagged, reported, and closed.
• 4:26
Speaker 1: But that only happens to people who aren't bringing the
• 4:29
Speaker 1: bank in money hand over fist. That doesn't happen to
• 4:33
Speaker 1: people like Jeffrey Epstein. Instead, guys like Nelson, Mary Erdos,
• 4:38
Speaker 1: and the rest of them, they're going to break bread
• 4:40
Speaker 1: over at Jeffrey's house on a regular basis. And Mary Erdos,
• 4:45
Speaker 1: who is close to the bank's CEO, Jamie Dimon, twice
• 4:48
Speaker 1: visited Epstein in 2011 and 2013, when Epstein was still
• 4:54
Speaker 1: a client, later exchanging dozens of emails, sources told the
• 4:58
  Speaker 1: Wall Street Journal.
• 5:00
Speaker 2: Of course she was. All of them were.
• 5:02
Speaker 1: When you have a client that big, it's not just
• 5:05
Speaker 1: a one-person operation. Again, just like it wasn't Alex Acosta,
• 5:10
Speaker 1: who's giving out sweetheart deals like some people are out
• 5:13
Speaker 1: here still piping, it's the same thing here with the bank.
• 5:16
Speaker 1: Because nobody, not somebody like Jeff Staley even, is going
• 5:20
Speaker 1: to make all of those decisions on their own. There's
• 5:24
Speaker 1: people that are going to be looking over your shoulder,
• 5:27
Speaker 1: and they're going to give you the okay. So it
• 5:29
Speaker 1: wasn't like this was all done in a vacuum, just
• 5:32
Speaker 1: like Alexander Acosta didn't have the power to give Jeffrey
• 5:36
Speaker 1: Epstein that sweetheart deal all on his own. Erdos has
• 5:41
Speaker 1: previously said through a JP Morgan spokesman that the only
• 5:45
Speaker 1: time she remembered meeting Epstein was the day she fired
• 5:48
Speaker 1: him as a client. Erdos declined to comment on the
• 5:52
Speaker 1: Wall Street Journal's latest allegations. They all forget, don't they? Oh,
• 5:56
Speaker 1: I had no idea. I forgot that I ever hung
• 5:59
Speaker 1: out with Jeffrey. What a bunch of absolute liars.
• 6:04
  Speaker 2: All of them.
• 6:05
Speaker 1: And if you have dozens of emails here with a
• 6:08
Speaker 1: paper trail leading back to your relationship, and witnesses and
• 6:11
Speaker 1: sources coming out and saying you were going to the townhouse,
• 6:15
Speaker 1: it's going to be pretty hard to deny it for long.
• 6:19
Speaker 1: You're going to get out it as the liar you are,
• 6:21
Speaker 1: and then the questions are going to become, what are
• 6:23
Speaker 1: you lying about, and why are you trying to cover
• 6:25
Speaker 1: up your relationship with Jeffrey Epstein? Nelson also declined to comment,
• 6:32
Speaker 1: while Duffy, who no longer works at the bank, did
• 6:35
Speaker 1: not respond to requests for comment from the newspaper. A
• 6:39
Speaker 1: JP Morgan spokesman said interactions with Epstein were normal for
• 6:43
Speaker 1: a client of a private bank and any meeting held
• 6:46
Speaker 1: with him after 2013 was regarding other bank clients whom
• 6:51
  Speaker 1: Epstein represented.
• 6:53
Speaker 2: Oh, give me a break. So why did you do
• 6:55
Speaker 2: business with any of them?
• 6:57
Speaker 1: Anyone that was doing business with Epstein, you knew that
• 7:00
Speaker 1: they were involved in the very least at the very
• 7:03
Speaker 1: ground floor. Financial malfeasance. But that's how these banks run.
• 7:09
Speaker 1: If it wasn't for that dark money pumping through the
• 7:11
Speaker 1: heart of the financial sector, forget it. The latest allegations
• 7:17
Speaker 1: come after the Daily Mail unearthed court documents claiming executives
• 7:21
Speaker 1: at JP Morgan were so familiar with Jeffrey Epstein's abuse
• 7:25
Speaker 1: that they laughed about him being out with 16-year-old Miley Cyrus.
• 7:30
Speaker 1: The bombshell lawsuit states that senior managers at the bank
• 7:33
Speaker 1: joked about Epstein's interest in young girls, including Cyrus, in 2008.
• 7:39
Speaker 1: when she was still starring in the Disney TV series,
• 7:42
Speaker 1: Hannah Montana. And what makes that even creepier is that
• 7:45
Speaker 1: you know that these dudes love Disney. They were talking
• 7:49
Speaker 1: about Disney in the emails using Disney princesses and characters
• 7:54
Speaker 1: as reference points. And imagine being Billy Ray Cyrus. Find
• 7:59
Speaker 1: out that these dudes are talking about your daughter like that.
• 8:02
Speaker 1: I'd be showing up over at the JP Morgan office
• 8:05
Speaker 1: with my mullet flying proudly in the wind letting the
• 8:08
Speaker 1: whole-ass bank know that they had made an achy-breaky mistakey.
• 8:13
  Speaker 2: Staff at J.P.
• 8:14
Speaker 1: Morgan were accused of making light of the pedophile's activities
• 8:17
Speaker 1: in a case filed against it by the government of
• 8:19
  Speaker 1: the U.S.
• 8:20
  Speaker 2: Virgin Islands.
• 8:21
Speaker 1: The lawsuit also alleges that at least 20 victims were
• 8:25
Speaker 1: paid through Epstein's accounts with J.P. Morgan in excess of
• 8:29
Speaker 1: $ 1 million. We know how much he was paying out.
• 8:32
Speaker 1: He was paying out money hand over fist. And it
• 8:35
Speaker 1: was all hush money. One woman who Epstein bought when
• 8:40
Speaker 1: she was 14 was paid $ 600, 000, one of the documents claim.
• 8:45
Speaker 1: And that's Nadia Marcinkova. We know that that's the talk
• 8:49
Speaker 1: that's been out there, that this poor girl was purchased
• 8:53
Speaker 1: by Jeffrey Epstein when she was 14, brought to live
• 8:56
Speaker 1: with him, and groomed, and from there had all of
• 8:59
Speaker 1: this other disgusting, gross-ass nonsense normalized in her life. And
• 9:05
Speaker 1: you want to talk about a tragic tale in this
• 9:07
Speaker 1: whole entire story? It's Nadia Marcinkova, for my money. And
• 9:11
Speaker 1: when I first started researching this, I didn't really have
• 9:15
Speaker 1: enough context about who Nadia Marcinkova was or is and
• 9:19
Speaker 1: her story. And when you look at what happened with
• 9:22
Speaker 1: her and the fact that she was sold to these
• 9:25
Speaker 1: sick bastards, Jean-Luc Brunel and Jeffrey Epstein, boy, oh boy,
• 9:29
Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. Is there a darker fate for
• 9:31
Speaker 1: somebody to be subjected to? and I'm very, very interested
• 9:36
Speaker 1: in hearing Nadia's story someday when she decides to tell it.
• 9:41
Speaker 1: The USVI government sued JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank in December,
• 9:46
Speaker 1: accusing the banks of turning a blind eye to Epstein
• 9:49
Speaker 1: sex trafficking of underage girls, despite a myriad of red flags.
• 9:55
Speaker 1: Both banks deny wrongdoing. The amended complaint from the USVI
• 9:59
Speaker 1: was Epstein had a private island, says that JP Morgan
• 10:03
Speaker 1: obstructed investigations into Epstein and its relationship to the bank.
• 10:09
Speaker 1: Executives emailed internally about his abuse during the course of
• 10:13
Speaker 1: their relationship with him, which ran from 1998 to 2013.
• 10:19
Speaker 1: including after he served 15 months for soliciting an underage
• 10:23
Speaker 1: girl for sex in 2008. Imagine that's the charge, soliciting
• 10:29
Speaker 1: an underage girl for sex. You mean trying to have
• 10:32
Speaker 1: sex with a minor. Whoever wrote that law, my guess
• 10:40
Speaker 1: is some sick-ass degenerate politician down in Florida, thought it
• 10:44
Speaker 1: would be a good idea to say that, you know,
• 10:46
Speaker 1: if you look for sex with a child prostitute, it's
• 10:49
Speaker 1: just like solicitation from an adult prostitute. When in reality,
• 10:54
Speaker 1: we all know that's not the case. So that should
• 10:56
Speaker 1: have never even been on the books. I don't even
• 10:58
Speaker 1: know how that's a law, honestly. But thankfully, they did
• 11:01
Speaker 1: away with that law down in Florida. So at least
• 11:03
Speaker 1: that's a little bit of progress. They included AirDose. The
• 11:08
Speaker 1: lawsuit is running parallel to a similar claim by a
• 11:11
Speaker 1: woman called Jane Doe 1, which has made numerous allegations
• 11:15
Speaker 1: against Jess Staley, the former boss of J.P.
• 11:18
  Speaker 2: Morgan.
• 11:19
Speaker 1: Court documents allege that between 2008 and 2012, Staley exchanged
• 11:25
Speaker 1: around 1,200 emails with Epstein from his J.P. Morgan email account.
• 11:31
Speaker 1: And by the way, Judge Rakoff has ruled that that
• 11:34
Speaker 1: the accuser that is suing the banks is going to
• 11:37
Speaker 1: have to make their identity known. And I'm not really
• 11:39
Speaker 1: a big fan of that, considering the circumstances that surround
• 11:43
Speaker 1: this case. But I think that each one of these
• 11:46
Speaker 1: kinds of situations should be unique. It should be decided
• 11:50
  Speaker 1: by a judge on a case-to-case basis. But I disagree
• 11:54
Speaker 1: with Judge Rakoff's decision here to make the accuser, at
• 11:57
Speaker 1: least at this point, release their name. because you know
• 12:00
Speaker 1: they're going to get intimidated, 100%, without a doubt. The
• 12:05
Speaker 1: banker allegedly visited Epstein's private island in the Caribbean while
• 12:09
Speaker 1: the pedophile was in prison for having sex with underage girls.
• 12:13
Speaker 1: Staley is accused of making suggestive references to Disney characters
• 12:18
Speaker 1: in the emails, including one from 2010, in which he says,
• 12:24
Speaker 1: Staley's lawyers have denied wrongdoing and denied... He used code
• 12:28
Speaker 1: words with Epstein. No, they were actually talking about the cartoons.
• 12:32
Speaker 1: Two grown-ass men, one of them a known pedophile, they
• 12:35
Speaker 1: were talking about actual Disney princesses, folks. That's what they
• 12:39
Speaker 1: want you to believe. The question is, are you buying
• 12:43
Speaker 1: the bullshit? In a motion to dismiss J.P. Morgan, called
• 12:47
Speaker 1: the USVI complaint, as a masterclass in deflection that seeks
• 12:52
Speaker 1: to hold J.P. Morgan responsible for not sleuthing out Epstein's crimes,
• 12:57
Speaker 1: over a decade ago.
• 12:58
  Speaker 2: They're all responsible.
• 13:00
Speaker 1: U.S. Virgin Islands as well. I won't beat that dead horse.
• 13:04
Speaker 1: You all know how I feel about that by now.
• 13:06
Speaker 1: But they're all responsible. And somehow they all end up
• 13:10
Speaker 1: still getting a fat paycheck at the end of the day.
• 13:13
Speaker 1: It's amazing, isn't it? All of these women and girls
• 13:16
Speaker 1: who were abused by Epstein, knowingly abused by Epstein, and
• 13:20
Speaker 1: how many of them haven't received a dollar or will
• 13:24
Speaker 1: never receive a dollar and forget about justice. We know
• 13:27
Speaker 1: that that's not coming in this case anytime soon. The
• 13:30
Speaker 1: DOJ has made that abundantly clear by not going after
• 13:33
Speaker 1: any of the associates of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
• 13:38
Speaker 1: There's a whole host of people that have been pointed
• 13:41
Speaker 1: out as taking part in the actual abuse, and not
• 13:44
Speaker 1: one of them has been brought in and talked to
• 13:48
  Speaker 1: under oath.
• 13:49
Speaker 2: Not one of them.
• 13:50
Speaker 1: So how can anyone take anything that happens when it
• 13:53
Speaker 1: comes to this investigation specifically seriously at this point? We
• 13:58
Speaker 1: can't even get a straight answer about what happened on
• 14:01
Speaker 1: the day Jeffrey Epstein died. They refused to release any information.
• 14:05
Speaker 1: They refused to release anything. No transparency whatsoever. And accountability?
• 14:10
Speaker 1: That's not even a word that the people over at
• 14:12
Speaker 1: the DOJ, at least speaking internally, know how to use.
• 14:17
Speaker 1: because nobody ever is held responsible for the bullshit. All right, folks, well,
• 14:21
Speaker 1: that's going to do it for this one. All of
• 14:23
Speaker 1: the information that goes with the episode can be found
• 14:27
Speaker 1: in the description box. What's up, everyone, and welcome back
• 14:31
Speaker 1: to the Epstein Chronicles.
• 14:34
  Speaker 2: The J.P.
• 14:35
Speaker 1: Morgan report that it put together about Jeffrey Epstein and
• 14:39
Speaker 1: his relationship with Jess Staley is a lot more damning
• 14:44
Speaker 1: than they let on. And for those of us who
• 14:46
Speaker 1: have been following along, this is no surprise. But for
• 14:50
Speaker 1: the rest of the world, who thinks this is some
• 14:52
Speaker 1: gigantic conspiracy theory, well, they're in for a big old shock.
• 14:57
Speaker 1: Today's article is from the Daily Mail. Headline, Revealed. JPMorgan Review,
• 15:03
Speaker 1: of its ties to Jeffrey Epstein, found the pedophile invited
• 15:07
Speaker 1: one-time executive Jess Staley to meetings with foreign government officials
• 15:12
Speaker 1: and offered to help him with his daughter's application. to
• 15:15
Speaker 1: Columbia University. What's with all of these rich people letting
• 15:18
Speaker 1: their kids hang out with Epstein or having Epstein come
• 15:21
Speaker 1: in and sign in for their kids and help them
• 15:24
Speaker 1: get into college? You have all this money. You have
• 15:27
Speaker 1: all of the power, all of the connections. Why do
• 15:30
Speaker 1: you need a pedophile to be your middleman? And that
• 15:34
Speaker 1: question goes out to not only Jeff Staley, but to
• 15:37
Speaker 1: people like Leon Black, Stacey Plaskett, Cecile DeJong, and the
• 15:42
Speaker 1: rest of them. Today's article was authored by Alex Hammer.
• 15:48
Speaker 1: JP Morgan's ties to Jeffrey Epstein have been laid bare
• 15:51
Speaker 1: in a bombshell new report as the bank continues to
• 15:54
Speaker 1: try and quash a lawsuit that looks to link it
• 15:57
Speaker 1: to the late financier, pedophiles, Caribbean-based sex trafficking ring. The
• 16:03
Speaker 1: 22-page internal report, prepared by the bank after Epstein's arrest
• 16:07
Speaker 1: in 2019, reportedly showed how the sex offender would regularly
• 16:13
Speaker 1: provide business advice to then-executive Jeff Staley, as well as
• 16:17
Speaker 1: personal help using his high-profile connections. At the time, Staley,
• 16:23
Speaker 1: who left his job as chairman of the investment banking
• 16:26
Speaker 1: unit of JPMorgan Chase in 2013, was tasked with managing
• 16:30
  Speaker 1: Epstein's multi-million dollar account.
• 16:33
Speaker 2: So he was Epstein's go-to guy, right? His man, his plug,
• 16:36
  Speaker 2: his hookup. Yo!
• 16:38
Speaker 1: And when you have a client that's wetting your beak
• 16:45
Speaker 1: the way Epstein was, you want to jump through hoops
• 16:48
Speaker 1: to make sure that this dude is getting taken care of.
• 16:50
Speaker 1: And that's exactly what Jess Staley did. The only problem
• 16:54
Speaker 1: is that Jess Staley is a banking official and not
• 16:57
Speaker 1: a host in Las Vegas at a nightclub. The unreleased report,
• 17:02
Speaker 1: obtained Monday by the Wall Street Journal, may suggest Staley's
• 17:05
Speaker 1: involvement with Epstein goes deeper than just a and even
• 17:08
Speaker 1: saw the pedophile offer help with an application one of
• 17:12
Speaker 1: Staley's daughters sent to Columbia University. Perhaps most sensational of
• 17:17
Speaker 1: the findings, though, are the notes that show how Epstein
• 17:20
Speaker 1: invited Staley to meetings with various senior officials in foreign governments,
• 17:25
Speaker 1: including that of Dubai and the United Kingdom. Well, we
• 17:28
Speaker 1: all know what goes on over in places like Dubai
• 17:32
Speaker 1: when they bring over those Instagram models. So is anyone
• 17:35
Speaker 1: shocked that a guy like Epstein would love hanging out
• 17:38
Speaker 1: in a place like Dubai? And as far as having
• 17:40
Speaker 1: access to top dogs in the UK, in Dubai, in
• 17:45
Speaker 1: Saudi Arabia, it's just par for the course. It's no
• 17:48
Speaker 1: different than when he was here in America. Look, money talks, folks. What,
• 17:52
Speaker 1: you think only America has a class of corrupt elites? Unfortunately,
• 17:57
Speaker 1: whenever you find a power structure of any sort, you're
• 18:00
Speaker 1: going to have corruption. And you're going to have people
• 18:03
Speaker 1: who are using their positions of power to make their
• 18:07
Speaker 1: lives a lot easier and their lives a lot better,
• 18:10
Speaker 1: while at the same time shitting on you and me.
• 18:12
Speaker 1: But the fact that he's palling around with politicians in
• 18:16
Speaker 1: Dubai and in the UK, that's not a shock to anybody.
• 18:19
Speaker 1: We all know the score here. But what I think
• 18:22
Speaker 1: is happening is that the Unsullied, the people who really
• 18:25
Speaker 1: don't know too much about this story, They're having the
• 18:28
Speaker 1: wool pulled back a little bit, and they're getting to
• 18:31
Speaker 1: see just how corrupt some of this shit really was.
• 18:34
Speaker 1: You know, a lot of people think it's a conspiracy
• 18:36
Speaker 1: theory that Jeffrey Epstein was hanging out with the most
• 18:40
Speaker 1: powerful people in the world. They think that's, you know,
• 18:43
Speaker 1: a bunch of hyperbole. But the fact is, it's not.
• 18:46
Speaker 1: When you have pictures of ex-presidents in dresses and pumps
• 18:50
Speaker 1: hanging on your wall, and then you help that very
• 18:53
Speaker 1: same ex-president start his foundation... It's not hyperbole.
• 18:58
  Speaker 2: It's fact.
• 19:00
Speaker 1: The new information dump serves as the latest development in
• 19:03
Speaker 1: a case filed by the U.S. Virgin Islands that contends
• 19:06
Speaker 1: the New York-based bank knew about Epstein's behavior for years
• 19:11
Speaker 1: and even aided by turning a blind eye to the
• 19:14
Speaker 1: sex fiend's sordid exploits.
• 19:16
Speaker 2: They're not wrong about that either.
• 19:18
Speaker 1: As I've said several times, both things are correct here
• 19:22
Speaker 1: and both allegations are true, meaning the U.S. Virgin Islands,
• 19:25
Speaker 1: they were complicit. JP Morgan, we all know they were complicit.
• 19:30
Speaker 1: We all know how I feel about the financial sector
• 19:32
  Speaker 1: as a whole.
• 19:33
Speaker 2: So there's no way.
• 19:35
Speaker 1: I think JP Morgan should be let off here. But
• 19:37
Speaker 1: that certainly doesn't mean that I think the U.S. Virgin
• 19:40
Speaker 1: Islands shouldn't shoulder their share of the blame as well.
• 19:43
Speaker 1: The bank recently settled a similar suit brought by an
• 19:47
Speaker 1: unnamed woman on behalf of several of Epstein's victims, forking
• 19:51
Speaker 1: over $ 290 million in the process. The evidence brought by
• 19:55
Speaker 1: both parties was enough to sway a Manhattan judge to
• 19:59
Speaker 1: rule the cases could go forward and order the firm
• 20:02
Speaker 1: in March to hand over any records involving CEO Jamie
• 20:06
Speaker 1: Dimon and ex-executive Staley in the process. The pair, former
• 20:11
Speaker 1: close friends, who hold positions of power during Epstein's crimes
• 20:15
Speaker 1: at his island compound, have since waged legal war against
• 20:19
Speaker 1: one another, with Diamond, 67, insisting Staley, 66, knowingly concealed
• 20:25
Speaker 1: information about Epstein's account. This would be like El Chapo
• 20:30
Speaker 1: pointing the finger at El Mayo saying, look, he's a
• 20:32
Speaker 1: drug dealer, not me. To act like Jamie Diamond, didn't
• 20:37
Speaker 1: know what was going on here is just straight-up fantasyland shit.
• 20:41
Speaker 1: There's no way I can ever believe that the man
• 20:44
Speaker 1: running J.P. Morgan had no idea who Epstein was or
• 20:48
Speaker 1: what he was up to. Now, I'm not saying that
• 20:51
Speaker 1: Jamie Dimon had a full accounting that Epstein was out
• 20:54
Speaker 1: here raping kids, but to act like you never heard
• 20:56
Speaker 1: of the guy's name before or what he was up
• 20:58
Speaker 1: to when the rest of us had on TV, in
• 21:01
Speaker 1: the news, and you're some kind of big shot running J.P.
• 21:05
  Speaker 2: Morgan?
• 21:06
Speaker 1: That's very hard for me to believe, and I don't
• 21:09
Speaker 1: think anybody else out here is believing it either. And
• 21:12
Speaker 1: you notice, once the chips are down and the walls
• 21:15
Speaker 1: are closing in, how quickly these people are willing to
• 21:18
Speaker 1: throw each other under the bus. The unreleased report serves
• 21:22
Speaker 1: as the bank's latest attempt to prove to the court
• 21:25
Speaker 1: that this is, in fact, the case as it pursues
• 21:28
Speaker 1: its own suit against Staley. It alleges Staley misled them
• 21:33
Speaker 1: as to continued actions of Epstein While the Virgin Islands
• 21:36
Speaker 1: continues to maintain, the high-powered executive, who left his CEO
• 21:40
Speaker 1: job at Barclays in 2021, knew about Epstein's trafficking of
• 21:45
Speaker 1: women and teenage girls on their island. Not only that,
• 21:49
Speaker 1: he's accused of taking part. So let's not forget that. However,
• 21:52
Speaker 1: does that mean that the Virgin Islands is entitled to
• 21:55
Speaker 1: some of this money? And if that's the case, what
• 21:58
Speaker 1: about the state of New York? What about the state
• 22:00
Speaker 1: of Florida? What about the state of New Mexico? Abuse
• 22:03
Speaker 1: happened there as well. So should the states sue Jeffrey
• 22:08
Speaker 1: Epstein's estate as well to get a couple of bucks?
• 22:11
Speaker 1: That would be ridiculous considering these states, these municipalities, they're
• 22:17
Speaker 1: the ones who let this occur. They're the ones who
• 22:19
Speaker 1: didn't perform the proper kind of investigation. So how in
• 22:23
Speaker 1: the world should they be entitled to any money? And
• 22:26
Speaker 1: using the same parameters, how in the hell is the U.S.
• 22:29
Speaker 1: Virgin Islands thinking that they're going to get some more
• 22:32
Speaker 1: dough here? The bank also claims Staley was the unnamed
• 22:36
Speaker 1: executive identified in the aforementioned Epstein's accuser recently settled suit,
• 22:42
Speaker 1: which accused the banker of engaging in assaults along with Epstein.
• 22:47
Speaker 1: So this guy, again, another person being credibly accused who's
• 22:51
Speaker 1: not facing criminal penalties. If it was you, if it
• 22:54
Speaker 1: was me, anyone we know, they'd be facing criminal penalties
• 22:58
Speaker 1: if somebody said, hey, look, this man sexually assaulted me.
• 23:03
Speaker 1: And not only that, but there's obviously enough here to
• 23:06
Speaker 1: go after him financially under these civil suits, right? So
• 23:10
Speaker 1: you mean to tell me there's not enough legally to
• 23:13
Speaker 1: at the very least open an investigation into what happened?
• 23:17
Speaker 1: Because if he was out here raping people with Jeffrey Epstein,
• 23:20
Speaker 1: I would think that those victims deserve some justice, no?
• 23:24
Speaker 1: Staley's lawyers denied the allegations against him and told the
• 23:28
Speaker 1: Journal that their client, who left the bank in 2013
• 23:31
Speaker 1: for a short-lived stint at Barclays, regrets his relationship with Epstein.
• 23:36
  Speaker 2: Short-lived, huh?
• 23:38
Speaker 1: Pretty long stint at Barclays. And not only that, let's
• 23:41
Speaker 1: not forget that the Barclays board backed Jeff Staley and
• 23:45
Speaker 1: refused to fire him during the pandemic simply to make
• 23:49
Speaker 1: sure that they didn't lose out on any more money.
• 23:52
Speaker 1: So once again, profits over people. In the report unveiled
• 23:55
Speaker 1: on Monday, penned immediately after Epstein's second and last arrest,
• 24:00
Speaker 1: JPMorgan staffers reportedly remarked how Epstein had appeared to be
• 24:05
Speaker 1: forming relationships with senior executives and officials from various foreign
• 24:10
Speaker 1: governments before referring those figures to Staley and the bank
• 24:14
Speaker 1: for prospective business deals. Some notable figures named in the
• 24:18
Speaker 1: journal's report included Dubai Sultan Ahmed bin Sulaym and British
• 24:24
Speaker 1: politician Peter Mandelson, both of whom engaged in regular correspondence
• 24:29
Speaker 1: with Epstein after his 2006 arrest in Florida. They don't
• 24:34
Speaker 1: care if you're a child molester. How many times do
• 24:37
Speaker 1: we have to say this? And how many times do
• 24:39
Speaker 1: they have to prove us right? Bin Sulayem, the CEO
• 24:44
Speaker 1: of prominent ports operator DP World, made several visits to
• 24:48
Speaker 1: Epstein's Manhattan townhouse between 2011 and 2014, according to JP
• 24:53
Speaker 1: Morgan meetings, that were only made possible by an email
• 24:57
Speaker 1: introduction from Epstein. According to the journal, a message penned
• 25:02
Speaker 1: in December 2009 saw Epstein tell Staley how to conduct
• 25:06
Speaker 1: himself around the Emirati businessman during these meetings, reportedly saying,
• 25:11
Speaker 1: Sultan is laying the groundwork for you to establish a
• 25:14
Speaker 1: serious presence. JP Morgan's reputation in the region is poor.
• 25:19
Speaker 1: The financier warned roughly a year after Epstein was sentenced
• 25:23
Speaker 1: to 18 months in jail for a similar sex ring
• 25:25
Speaker 1: in Florida. So he's out here talking about how JP
• 25:29
Speaker 1: Morgan and their business model in the Middle East is
• 25:32
Speaker 1: not trusted and how Jeffrey Epstein can help bridge that gap.
• 25:37
Speaker 1: Who cares if he molested children? Who cares if he
• 25:40
  Speaker 1: abused women?
• 25:41
Speaker 2: No big deal. We're trying to get rich here, folks.
• 25:43
Speaker 2: Get out of the way.
• 25:45
Speaker 1: However, under a secret arrangement, The U.S. Attorney's Office agreed
• 25:49
Speaker 1: not to prosecute Epstein for federal crimes, after which the
• 25:52
Speaker 1: disgraced banker posed for a photo with Epstein, former J.P.
• 25:56
Speaker 1: Morgan Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, and Microsoft CEO Bill Gates,
• 26:02
Speaker 1: seemingly in celebration at Epstein's Manhattan home. And we've known
• 26:07
Speaker 1: those pictures have been around forever, and these emails just
• 26:10
Speaker 1: fill in some gaps, right? They confirm what we've already known. Moreover...
• 26:16
Speaker 1: Staley sensationally visited Epstein in prison after his 2019 conviction
• 26:20
Speaker 1: for prostitution in the U.S. Virgin Islands, after which he
• 26:25
Speaker 1: hung himself before being incarcerated, allegedly. The 2019 report also
• 26:31
Speaker 1: shows email conversations set in 2010 between Epstein, Staley, and Mandelson,
• 26:37
Speaker 1: a member of the Second Chamber of the U.K. Parliament
• 26:40
Speaker 1: and ex-Cabinet member. He left office later that year after
• 26:44
Speaker 1: the Labour Party lost the general election. According to the journal,
• 26:49
Speaker 1: the document in question involved J.P. Morgan's efforts to purchase
• 26:52
Speaker 1: the Royal Bank of Scotland's stake in Sempra Energy and
• 26:56
Speaker 1: the mining deal in the Congo. And I'm sure that
• 26:59
Speaker 1: that would have been ethical, huh? Because, you know, everybody
• 27:02
Speaker 1: who goes to Africa, they mine ethically and they take
• 27:05
Speaker 1: care of the natives, right? Just like down in South America.
• 27:08
Speaker 1: Said nobody ever. Have you looked at some of these
• 27:10
Speaker 1: illegal mining operations that are being run by China and
• 27:14
Speaker 1: other countries? I mean, we have to be able to
• 27:16
Speaker 1: get those quote-unquote cheap iPhones, right? How do you think
• 27:20
Speaker 1: that happens? Well, it happens by exploiting the third world
• 27:24
Speaker 1: and people like Epstein and JP Morgan being at the
• 27:27
Speaker 1: controls while it happens. In a statement to the Journal,
• 27:31
Speaker 1: the 69-year-old politician said he very, very much regrets ever
• 27:36
Speaker 1: having been introduced to Epstein and that he never had
• 27:39
Speaker 1: any kind of professional or business relationship with Epstein in
• 27:43
Speaker 1: any form. This is what they all say. They're all
• 27:46
Speaker 1: reading off of the same script. The report, meanwhile, insists
• 27:50
Speaker 1: that not just Staley, but the bank's current head of
• 27:53
Speaker 1: asset and wealth management, Mary Erdos, had regular communication with
• 27:58
Speaker 1: Epstein related to the certain strategic initiatives and business proposals
• 28:03
Speaker 1: starting in 2011. The document reportedly claims that several of
• 28:09
Speaker 1: these messages were personal in nature, with the lion's share
• 28:12
Speaker 1: of the correspondents coming between Staley and Epstein, who regularly
• 28:17
Speaker 1: discussed women and referred to themselves as family. That's what
• 28:21
Speaker 1: you say to your boys that you've, you know, shed
• 28:24
Speaker 1: blood with. Your homies you grew up with. Oh, this
• 28:28
Speaker 1: is my family. This is my brother from another mother.
• 28:31
Speaker 1: We've been homies for 30 years. But Epstein and Staley,
• 28:35
Speaker 1: running around and calling themselves brothers and family, the whole nine...
• 28:40
Speaker 1: Why should we not believe what they're telling us here?
• 28:42
Speaker 1: Should we believe that they're just acquaintances? Or should we
• 28:45
Speaker 1: take them at their word and look at their relationship
• 28:49
Speaker 1: in a different light? And for most of us, that's
• 28:52
Speaker 1: a rhetorical question because we understand how deep this relationship
• 28:55
Speaker 1: was and that it was much more than just business.
• 29:00
Speaker 1: In one July 2010 email exchange, Staley reportedly wrote to Epstein.
• 29:04
Speaker 2: That was fun. Say hi to Snow White.
• 29:07
Speaker 1: In response, Epstein reportedly wrote, What character would you like next?
• 29:12
Speaker 1: To which Staley replied, Beauty and the Beast. In 2011,
• 29:17
Speaker 1: the pair seemed to engage in an exchange that referenced
• 29:21
Speaker 1: Epstein's 2008 conviction in Florida, with Staley telling his high-profile client,
• 29:26
Speaker 1: You have paid a price for what has been accused.
• 29:29
Speaker 1: But we know what you have done for us, and
• 29:31
Speaker 1: we know what he has done for you, Jess Staley,
• 29:34
Speaker 1: you sick, disgusting animal. We count you as one of
• 29:37
Speaker 1: our deepest friends and most. honest of people. Imagine blowing
• 29:42
Speaker 1: that kind of smoke up Epstein's ass. You're one of
• 29:44
Speaker 1: the most honest people? Okay, sure, yeah, one of the
• 29:47
Speaker 1: most honest people, and Bernie Madoff would have safeguarded your money.
• 29:52
Speaker 1: The report further claimed that Epstein even offered to help
• 29:55
Speaker 1: one of Staley's daughters, Alexa, apply to several graduate schools
• 29:59
Speaker 1: including Columbia University. Epstein reportedly assured Staley he would get
• 30:05
Speaker 1: in touch with various Columbia officials and connect Staley to
• 30:08
Speaker 1: the university's president. In response to those claims, a spokesperson
• 30:13
Speaker 1: for the New York Ivy League institution stated, there was
• 30:16
Speaker 1: no meeting between the president and Staley, nor did the
• 30:19
Speaker 1: president know Epstein, then or later. There is no factual
• 30:23
Speaker 1: basis for these assertions. No, they just made it up
• 30:26
Speaker 1: in the emails. Jeff Staley said, And Jeffrey Epstein were
• 30:30
Speaker 1: just lying to each other back and forth in this thread.
• 30:34
  Speaker 2: Because we know.
• 30:34
Speaker 1: That the hallowed halls of higher academia would never accept
• 30:38
Speaker 1: something like this happening, right?
• 30:40
  Speaker 2: Right?
• 30:43
Speaker 1: Dailymail.com has reached out to Alexis Daly, who graduated Columbia
• 30:47
Speaker 1: four years later, with a doctor of philosophy and physics
• 30:51
Speaker 1: for comment. I'm not a big fan of, you know,
• 30:54
Speaker 1: sins of the father, but to get clarification here, I
• 30:57
Speaker 1: don't think it's a bad idea to reach out to
• 31:00
Speaker 1: Alexa to try and see what happened. The report which
• 31:03
Speaker 1: claims to show what the bank knew about its ties
• 31:06
Speaker 1: to Epstein is now being used by the bank as
• 31:09
Speaker 1: it continues to face off with the government of the
• 31:12
Speaker 1: Virgin Islands in court and could soon be made public
• 31:15
  Speaker 1: as proceedings persist.
• 31:17
Speaker 2: I can't wait for that. More documents for us to
• 31:20
  Speaker 2: pour through? Perfect.
• 31:22
Speaker 1: The island is where Epstein kept a home and is
• 31:25
Speaker 1: said to have abused dozens of girls. Last November, Jane
• 31:29
Speaker 1: Doe sued JP Morgan, alleging the bank secretly presided over
• 31:33
Speaker 1: Epstein's trafficking empire on the island, while keeping him as
• 31:37
Speaker 1: a client for 14 years. In her complaint, Doe said
• 31:41
Speaker 1: a powerful financial executive who was friends with Epstein had
• 31:45
Speaker 1: sexually assaulted her but declined to name him out of fear.
• 31:50
  Speaker 2: In the U.S.
• 31:50
Speaker 1: Virgin Islands suit, the Caribbean territory has claimed at least
• 31:54
Speaker 1: one J.P. Morgan executive knew about Epstein's trafficking of women
• 31:58
Speaker 1: and teenage girls. Well, how many government officials in the U.S.
• 32:02
Speaker 1: Virgin Islands at the time knew as well? That's the
• 32:06
Speaker 1: uncomfortable question that not enough people are asking.
• 32:10
  Speaker 2: J.P.
• 32:10
Speaker 1: Morgan maintains that Staley, who has nearly four decades of
• 32:13
Speaker 1: experience in banking and the financial sphere, concealed such information
• 32:18
Speaker 1: from the bank. Like the case involving the victims, U.S.
• 32:22
Speaker 1: Virgin Islands is asking for an undisclosed amount of money
• 32:26
Speaker 1: from the bank for keeping Epstein on as a client
• 32:29
Speaker 1: and missing red flags about his more than a decade
• 32:32
  Speaker 1: of misconduct.
• 32:33
  Speaker 2: The U.S.
• 32:34
Speaker 1: Territory has called Diamond a likely source of relevant and
• 32:37
Speaker 1: unique information about why J.P. Morgan kept Epstein on as
• 32:42
Speaker 1: a client, even after he was arrested in 2006 and
• 32:46
Speaker 1: later indicted by a grand jury for taking part in
• 32:49
Speaker 1: a child prostitution ring in Palm Beach, Florida.
• 32:53
Speaker 2: Yeah, hell of a guy. Let's keep him on board.
• 32:55
Speaker 1: Let's go to his island and dip our nuts in
• 32:58
  Speaker 1: his jacuzzi.
• 33:00
  Speaker 2: A spokesman for the U.S.
• 33:01
Speaker 1: Virgin Islands government said of the recent settlement, we are
• 33:04
Speaker 1: gratified to hear about the settlement that will provide victims
• 33:08
Speaker 1: of Jeffrey Epstein some compensation for JPMorgan Chase's role in
• 33:13
Speaker 1: facilitating Epstein's crimes against them.
• 33:16
  Speaker 2: The U.S.
• 33:16
Speaker 1: Virgin Islands will continue to proceed with its enforcement action
• 33:20
Speaker 1: to ensure full accountability for J.P. Morgan's violations of law
• 33:24
Speaker 1: and prevent the bank from assisting and profiting from human
• 33:27
Speaker 1: trafficking in the future. So what are you going to
• 33:30
Speaker 1: do to yourself? That's the question. Over here on this
• 33:34
Speaker 1: ivory tower, talking down to everybody, running your yap. Meanwhile,
• 33:39
Speaker 1: you can't even control what's going on in your own territory.
• 33:42
Speaker 1: Maybe somebody should ask Stacey Plaskett what's going on. Maybe
• 33:45
Speaker 1: Stacey Plaskett has some more information for us to share.
• 33:48
Speaker 1: That is, if you can get her off of the TV,
• 33:51
Speaker 1: making a fool of herself. Imagine having Stacey Plaskett on
• 33:55
Speaker 1: for an interview and not asking one single Epstein-related question.
• 34:00
Speaker 1: And you call yourself a journalist. And we should take
• 34:03
  Speaker 1: you seriously.
• 34:04
  Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, sure.
• 34:06
Speaker 1: All of those news networks are the same nonsense. All
• 34:09
Speaker 1: those talking heads are doing the same thing, except they're
• 34:12
Speaker 1: trying to ignite anger and fear from On the other
• 34:15
Speaker 1: side of the issue. And that's how it always is
• 34:18
Speaker 1: on TV. And that's why I don't bother with it.
• 34:20
Speaker 1: But the fact that you're going to have somebody like
• 34:22
Speaker 1: Plaskett on TV or Hillary Clinton on TV and not
• 34:26
Speaker 1: ask one single Epstein related question tells me everything I
• 34:30
Speaker 1: need to know about you as a journalist and the
• 34:32
Speaker 1: institution that you're working for.
• 34:34
  Speaker 2: The U.S.
• 34:35
Speaker 1: Virgin Islands is committed to protecting women and girls who
• 34:39
Speaker 1: could otherwise become victims going forward. Okay, so where's the
• 34:42
Speaker 1: criminal case? How come nobody has been indicted? How come
• 34:46
Speaker 1: you haven't impaneled a grand jury and brought anybody in?
• 34:51
Speaker 1: Epstein was a client at the bank between 1998 and 2013,
• 34:56
Speaker 1: seven years after he was arrested and convicted of using
• 34:59
Speaker 1: underage prostitutes in Palm Beach, Florida. So let's put that
• 35:03
Speaker 1: in real terms, raping children in Palm Beach, Florida. Bank
• 35:07
Speaker 1: employees were concerned about Epstein's large cash withdrawals, some of
• 35:10
Speaker 1: which were used to pay underage girls in exchange for sex.
• 35:14
Speaker 1: but he was allowed to remain a client for years.
• 35:18
Speaker 1: According to depositions that were part of the lawsuit, he
• 35:21
  Speaker 1: would regularly withdraw $ 40, 000 to $ 80, 000 a month. The withdrawals
• 35:27
Speaker 1: rang alarm bells among compliance officials, but he explained them
• 35:32
Speaker 1: away by claiming they were for fuel and landing fees
• 35:35
Speaker 1: for his private plane. I guess your ATM isn't working?
• 35:38
Speaker 1: Did the Amex Black get declined, Jeffrey Epstein? Dude's out
• 35:42
Speaker 1: here talking about how he has to use cash. What
• 35:44
Speaker 1: are you, Pablo Escobar? Epstein ran much of his criminal
• 35:48
Speaker 1: activities out of his compound on Little St. James Island,
• 35:51
Speaker 1: a private island itself he owned off the coast that
• 35:55
Speaker 1: falls in the Virgin Islands jurisdiction. After the full extent
• 35:59
Speaker 1: of Epstein's crimes became known in 2019, Staley initially claimed
• 36:04
Speaker 1: He and Epstein were little more than acquaintances tied by business.
• 36:08
  Speaker 1: That's a lie, and it's been proved to be a
• 36:11
Speaker 1: lie over and over again, and it's just like the
• 36:13
Speaker 1: rest of these clowns. One of the biggest tells that
• 36:16
Speaker 1: they actually had a relationship with Epstein is when they
• 36:19
Speaker 1: tell you that it was only business-related. Later, he admitted
• 36:23
Speaker 1: to having a close professional relationship that he established while
• 36:27
Speaker 1: running J.P. Morgan's private bank and asset management division from
• 36:31
Speaker 1: 2000 to 2009. Staley became the CEO of Barclays in 2015,
• 36:37
Speaker 1: but later stepped down amidst a probe into whether he
• 36:41
Speaker 1: had concealed the extent of his relationship with Epstein. While
• 36:45
Speaker 1: a high-ranking official at JP Morgan, Staley famously visited Epstein
• 36:50
Speaker 1: in prison after his conviction for prostitution in 2008. Imagine
• 36:56
Speaker 1: going to see this dude in prison and then trying
• 36:58
Speaker 1: to tell the rest of us it was just a
• 36:59
Speaker 1: business relationship. The bank has denied Staley actually went to
• 37:04
Speaker 1: the prison, saying instead Epstein visited Staley at his office
• 37:08
Speaker 1: during a work release for his 18-month prison sentence. Epstein
• 37:13
Speaker 1: died in custody while awaiting a sex trafficking trial. In
• 37:17
Speaker 1: his absence, the only person to have faced criminal prosecution
• 37:20
Speaker 1: over his crimes is Ghislaine Maxwell. She is currently serving
• 37:24
Speaker 1: a 20-year prison sentence after being convicted of facilitating the abuse.
• 37:29
Speaker 1: And there's a lot more to this story, folks. We've
• 37:32
Speaker 1: only heard a little bit, the very tip of the iceberg,
• 37:35
Speaker 1: about what was really going on with J.P. Morgan, with
• 37:38
Speaker 1: the financial sector, and their best buddy, Jeffrey Epstein. So,
• 37:43
Speaker 1: we'll keep on it, of course, and as new information
• 37:45
Speaker 1: becomes available, we'll get it added to the catalog, and
• 37:48
Speaker 1: we'll make sure that we expose these scumbags like a
• 37:51
Speaker 1: pair of dog nuts. Alright, folks, that's going to do
• 37:54
Speaker 1: it for this one. All of the information that goes
• 37:57
Speaker 1: with the episode can be found in the description box.
• 38:02
Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
• 38:06
Speaker 1: So JP Morgan is seeking files from the Manhattan DA's
• 38:10
Speaker 1: office in its Jeffrey Epstein lawsuits. And I find that
• 38:14
Speaker 1: laughable considering that the New York Prosecutor's Office let Jeffrey
• 38:19
Speaker 1: Epstein off the hook every single step of the way.
• 38:22
Speaker 1: Just go ask Cy Vance about Jeffrey Epstein. And ask
• 38:25
Speaker 1: them why they argue that Jeffrey Epstein shouldn't be considered
• 38:29
Speaker 1: the worst of the worst when it comes to sex offenders.
• 38:33
Speaker 1: Because that's the argument the New York Attorney's Office made
• 38:36
Speaker 1: on behalf of Jeffrey Epstein. So other people might have forgotten.
• 38:41
Speaker 1: I certainly haven't. And I know that those of you
• 38:43
Speaker 1: out there that are following this case, you haven't forgotten either.
• 38:47
Speaker 1: And while I'm ranting real quick, I might as well
• 38:49
Speaker 1: rant about all of the snake oil salesmen that pop
• 38:52
Speaker 1: up on Twitter, basically on a daily basis, talking about Epstein.
• 38:57
Speaker 1: These people don't know the first thing about the first thing,
• 39:00
Speaker 1: yet they get up there and talk about how they're
• 39:02
Speaker 1: going to expose the whole entire enterprise. Meanwhile, those same
• 39:06
Speaker 1: people talking about, oh, I'm going to expose this or
• 39:09
Speaker 1: expose that, couldn't expose themselves at a nudist festival. So
• 39:14
Speaker 1: save the bullshit, all right? And stop trying to draw
• 39:16
Speaker 1: traffic to your stupid Twitter site, your stupid Twitter handle,
• 39:20
Speaker 1: by posting bullshit about Jeffrey Epstein that's not even real.
• 39:24
Speaker 1: And the crazy part about that is, there's so much
• 39:27
Speaker 1: salacious stuff that you could talk about that... it's insane
• 39:31
Speaker 1: that people make stuff up. For example, when's the last
• 39:34
Speaker 1: time you heard a hard-hitting piece about George Mitchell and
• 39:38
Speaker 1: his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein? And if you don't know
• 39:41
Speaker 1: who George Mitchell is, let me give you a little
• 39:43
Speaker 1: crash course real quick. George John Mitchell is an American politician, diplomat,
• 39:49
Speaker 1: and lawyer. A leading member of the Democratic Party, he
• 39:52
Speaker 1: served as a United States Senator from Maine from 1980
• 39:56
Speaker 1: to 1995 and as Senate Majority Leader from 1989 to 1995.
• 40:03
Speaker 1: After retiring from the Senate, Mitchell played a leading role
• 40:06
Speaker 1: in negotiations for peace in Northern Ireland and in the
• 40:10
Speaker 1: Middle East. He was appointed United States Special Envoy for
• 40:14
Speaker 1: Northern Ireland in 1995 to 2001 by President Clinton and
• 40:20
Speaker 1: as United States Special Envoy for the Middle East Peace
• 40:24
Speaker 1: 2009-2011 by President Barack Obama. Mitchell was a primary architect
• 40:31
Speaker 1: of the 1996 Mitchell Principles and the 1998 Good Friday
• 40:35
Speaker 1: Agreement in Northern Ireland, and was the main investigator in
• 40:39
Speaker 1: two Mitchell reports, one into the Arab-Israeli conflict, and one
• 40:44
Speaker 1: on the use of performance-enhancing drugs in baseball. Mitchell served
• 40:49
Speaker 1: as the chairman of the Walt Disney Company from March
• 40:53
Speaker 1: 2004 until January 2007, and later as chairman of the
• 40:58
Speaker 1: international law firm DLA Piper. He was the chancellor of
• 41:02
Speaker 1: Queen's University in Belfast, Northern Ireland, from 1999 to 2009.
• 41:08
Speaker 1: Mitchell also served as a co-chair of the Housing Commission
• 41:12
Speaker 1: at the Bipartisan Policy Center. And then when you scroll
• 41:16
Speaker 1: down a little bit further here on his Wikipedia page,
• 41:20
Speaker 1: there's one little blurb about his Epstein relationship.
• 41:23
Speaker 2: You ready for it?
• 41:24
Speaker 1: Virginia Roberts, a woman who has long claimed that disgraced
• 41:28
Speaker 1: pedophile and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein forced her to
• 41:32
Speaker 1: have sex with powerful men named Mitchell in documents unsealed
• 41:36
  Speaker 1: on August 9th, 2019, a day before Epstein's death by
• 41:41
Speaker 1: a federal court in the Southern District of New York.
• 41:44
Speaker 1: The papers included affidavits and depositions of key witnesses in
• 41:50
Speaker 1: a 2015 lawsuit that Roberts filed against Epstein and his associate,
• 41:55
Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell. Roberts accused the two individuals of sex trafficking
• 42:00
Speaker 1: her to high-profile individuals, including Mitchell, in the early 2000s
• 42:05
Speaker 1: while she was underage. Mitchell denied ever having met or
• 42:09
Speaker 1: spoken with Roberts and stated that he became aware of
• 42:12
Speaker 1: Epstein's criminal prosecution, only through the media. On November 30th, 2021,
• 42:17
Speaker 1: Epstein's former pilot, Larry Vesosky, named Mitchell as one of
• 42:22
Speaker 1: the people he recalled flying on one of Epstein's private planes,
• 42:27
Speaker 1: but claimed to have never seen sexual activity, nor indication
• 42:31
Speaker 1: that such activity had taken place. Now remember, This whole
• 42:35
Speaker 1: entire thing, as far as Epstein getting arrested the second
• 42:39
Speaker 1: time around, was initiated because the Miami Herald ran a
• 42:43
Speaker 1: piece because Alex Acosta got that job. Let's be very
• 42:46
Speaker 1: honest about what happened. They were looking for dirt when
• 42:49
Speaker 1: it came to Acosta and they found it. And that
• 42:52
Speaker 1: dirt was his connection to Jeffrey Epstein. And Acosta, as
• 42:56
Speaker 1: I've said a million times, should have lost his job,
• 43:00
Speaker 1: should have had all the ridicule that was thrown on
• 43:02
  Speaker 1: top of him.
• 43:03
Speaker 2: But why did it stop there?
• 43:05
Speaker 1: Why did the legacy media stop at Alex Acosta when
• 43:08
Speaker 1: we have names like George Mitchell, who is and was
• 43:12
Speaker 1: way more influential than Alex Acosta could ever hope to be?
• 43:16
Speaker 1: We're talking about the most powerful man in the Senate
• 43:18
Speaker 1: at one point. Not only that, but a man who
• 43:21
Speaker 1: is brokering these peace deals on a world stage. Then
• 43:25
Speaker 1: you flip the script and you start looking at who
• 43:27
Speaker 1: he was working for. And it all makes sense, right?
• 43:29
Speaker 1: Considering all of the ties Clinton has to Jeffrey Epstein,
• 43:33
Speaker 1: it all makes sense. But the legacy media refuses to
• 43:36
Speaker 1: dig deep here. They refuse to really go after the
• 43:40
Speaker 1: people that they should be going after. And so do
• 43:43
Speaker 1: all of these dumbass Twitter accounts as well. They're too
• 43:46
Speaker 1: busy trying to move some kind of political message with
• 43:49
Speaker 1: their nonsense. Oh, Tom Hanks is eating children and now
• 43:52
Speaker 1: he's locked in a basement in Guantanamo. Meanwhile, the dude's
• 43:55
Speaker 1: doing movies and all of that stuff is provably false.
• 43:59
Speaker 1: So why even bother with it? Because the time spent
• 44:02
Speaker 1: on all of that dumbass bullshit conspiracy theory nonsense is
• 44:06
Speaker 1: time spent away from the real scoundrels like George Mitchell
• 44:09
Speaker 1: and Bill Richardson. So for all the Epstein experts out
• 44:13
Speaker 1: there all of a sudden on Twitter talking about how
• 44:15
Speaker 1: they're going to expose the whole entire enterprise, there's a
• 44:19
Speaker 1: name to start with. And then let's see your work
• 44:21
Speaker 1: with that name. And then maybe I'll give you another one.
• 44:24
Speaker 1: I usually don't let that kind of shit bother me.
• 44:26
Speaker 1: But lately, there has been like this push of a
• 44:29
Speaker 1: bunch of goofballs. And I'm talking about people with like
• 44:32
Speaker 1: hundreds of thousands of followers making posts on Twitter that
• 44:36
Speaker 1: are absolutely ridiculous. And it's taking people away from the
• 44:41
Speaker 1: actualities that happened in this case. I don't know how
• 44:44
Speaker 1: many times I have to say it. This is a
• 44:46
Speaker 1: case where you don't need to make anything up. This
• 44:50
Speaker 1: is salacious enough with the people involved that you don't
• 44:53
Speaker 1: need to bring in all sorts of other people where
• 44:55
Speaker 1: you don't have the evidence to prove that they did
• 44:58
Speaker 1: all the things that you're trying to say that they did. Meanwhile,
• 45:01
Speaker 1: George Mitchell has somebody who is pointing to him and saying,
• 45:05
Speaker 1: he raped me. He was part of Jeffrey Epstein's criminal enterprise,
• 45:10
Speaker 1: and he raped me. And nobody did anything about it.
• 45:13
Speaker 1: Nobody's doing anything about it. So until action has been
• 45:16
Speaker 1: taken on the people that have already been named, you
• 45:19
Speaker 1: can miss me with all of the bullshit to try
• 45:21
Speaker 1: and drive traffic to your dumbass Twitter page. Alright, so,
• 45:26
Speaker 1: now that my rant is out of the way, we
• 45:28
Speaker 1: can dive into this article from NBC News and see
• 45:31
Speaker 1: what author Chloe Atkins has for us. Headline, JPMorgan.com. seeks
• 45:36
Speaker 1: files from Manhattan D.A. in Jeffrey Epstein lawsuits. JPMorgan Chase
• 45:43
Speaker 1: is seeking documents from Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's office
• 45:47
Speaker 1: in lawsuits the bank faces over its relationship with a
• 45:51
Speaker 1: late convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein, a former client, according
• 45:56
Speaker 1: to federal court records. Attorneys for Bragg, JPMorgan Chase, a
• 46:01
Speaker 1: former senior executive, Jeff Staley, and And the plaintiffs in
• 46:04
Speaker 1: the case attended a telephone conference before U.S. District Judge
• 46:09
Speaker 1: Jed Rakoff on Tuesday. Rakoff instructed Bragg's office to provide
• 46:15
Speaker 1: a so-called privilege log relating to documents sought by the
• 46:18
Speaker 1: Wall Street giant by Friday. That's a list of documents
• 46:22
Speaker 1: Bragg's office argues are privileged and not subject to discovery.
• 46:27
Speaker 1: A spokesman for Bragg said a protective order is in place,
• 46:31
Speaker 1: so we cannot comment on the nature of the requested documents.
• 46:35
Speaker 1: They can never comment when it has to do with Epstein, huh?
• 46:38
Speaker 1: Can you guys comment on his death yet, or do
• 46:40
Speaker 1: you need some more time to figure out what happened,
• 46:42
Speaker 1: you bunch of goofballs? JPMorgan Chase didn't immediately respond to
• 46:47
Speaker 1: a request for comment. The bank faces two lawsuits filed
• 46:51
Speaker 1: last year by the U.S. Virgin Islands and a woman
• 46:54
Speaker 1: identified as Jane Doe No. 1, accusing it of having
• 46:58
Speaker 1: facilitated Epstein's sex trafficking enterprise. JPMorgan knowingly, negligently, and unlawfully
• 47:05
Speaker 1: provided and pulled the levers through which recruiters and victims
• 47:09
Speaker 1: were paid and was indispensable to the operation and concealment
• 47:14
Speaker 1: of the Epstein trafficking enterprise, the U.S. Virgin Islands alleged
• 47:18
Speaker 1: in a complaint. The two suits seek monetary damages. JPMorgan
• 47:23
Speaker 1: Chase has denied liability. Deutsche Bank agreed Wednesday to pay
• 47:27
Speaker 1: $ 75 million to Epstein victims to settle a lawsuit claiming
• 47:32
Speaker 1: It enabled Epstein's conduct. And it's crazy that these people
• 47:36
Speaker 1: can get off the hook once again. They're basically aiding
• 47:40
Speaker 1: and abetting sex trafficking and nobody gets in trouble. Oh yeah,
• 47:44
Speaker 1: we're going to pay a fine. Oh, it's the biggest
• 47:46
Speaker 1: fine ever paid out. Yeah, like it's going to stop them.
• 47:49
Speaker 2: Is it a deterrent?
• 47:50
Speaker 1: Until the next one, right? Yeah, it's the biggest fine
• 47:53
Speaker 1: until the next scumbag uses their bank to molest a
• 47:57
Speaker 1: bunch of girls. Then we'll hear about how big the
• 47:59
Speaker 1: fine is again. It's all just a bunch of bullshit.
• 48:02
Speaker 1: I hope all of you see that. I hope you
• 48:04
Speaker 1: see what's going on here. When you have enough money,
• 48:07
Speaker 1: you can buy your way out of anything, even molesting
• 48:10
Speaker 1: little girls. JPMorgan Chase sued Staley in March, claiming he
• 48:14
Speaker 1: should be held liable for damages it might face from
• 48:17
Speaker 1: the lawsuits. It accuses Staley, who worked at the bank
• 48:20
Speaker 1: for more than 30 years, of knowing about Epstein's conduct
• 48:24
Speaker 1: and engaging in sexual activity with young women procured by Epstein.
• 48:29
Speaker 1: Staley asked for the lawsuits to be dismissed and said
• 48:32
Speaker 1: the bank is using him as a public relations shield. However,
• 48:37
Speaker 1: he has expressed regret for his relationship with Epstein. All
• 48:40
Speaker 1: this regret. I don't care about your regret. Save your sorries.
• 48:44
Speaker 1: Save your I should have done something else's. You all
• 48:47
Speaker 1: knew who he was. You knew what he was up to.
• 48:49
Speaker 1: And you all chose to chill with him. JPMorgan Chase
• 48:53
Speaker 1: CEO Jamie Dimon is scheduled to be deposed in the
• 48:56
Speaker 1: lawsuits this month. In a Bloomberg television interview last week,
• 49:01
Speaker 1: he said he is so sad that we had any
• 49:03
Speaker 1: relationship to that man whatsoever. You know, we had top
• 49:07
Speaker 1: lawyers evaluating, from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Enforcement,
• 49:12
Speaker 1: the Justice Department, you know, and obviously, had we known
• 49:16
Speaker 1: then what we know today, we would have done things differently,
• 49:19
Speaker 1: Diamond said. But it's very unfortunate, and I have deep
• 49:22
Speaker 1: respect for these women. That doesn't mean that we're liable
• 49:26
Speaker 1: for the action of an individual, he added. But I
• 49:29
Speaker 1: do have deep respect for them. My heart goes out
• 49:31
Speaker 1: to them. No, you're not responsible for his actions. You're
• 49:34
Speaker 1: responsible for enabling his actions and facilitating them, you jackass.
• 49:39
Speaker 1: But JPMorgan Chase's banking relationship was also known at the
• 49:43
Speaker 1: highest levels of the bank, the U.S. Virgin Islands said
• 49:47
Speaker 1: in court documents. In August 2008, internal email says, I
• 49:51
Speaker 1: would count Epstein's assets as a probable outflow for 2008,
• 49:56
Speaker 1: $ 120 million or so. As I can imagine, it will
• 50:00
Speaker 1: stay pending the Diamond Review. And guess what?
• 50:03
  Speaker 2: It stayed.
• 50:04
Speaker 1: Additional internal emails and memos filed as exhibits also revealed
• 50:09
Speaker 1: that bank executives had been worried about the financial institution's
• 50:13
Speaker 1: relationship with Epstein dating to 2006. Financial records showed Epstein
• 50:20
Speaker 1: uses his JP Morgan account to transfer around $ 3 million
• 50:24
Speaker 1: to women and girls from 2003 to 2013, according to
• 50:29
Speaker 1: records the plaintiffs filed as exhibits. The financial records Do
• 50:34
Speaker 1: not disclose the names of those who received the transfers
• 50:37
Speaker 1: or their connections to Epstein. And here's another breadcrumb for
• 50:41
Speaker 1: all of the super Epstein investigators out there on Twitter
• 50:45
Speaker 1: and elsewhere. Follow the money, okay? Pretty simple, right? Follow
• 50:50
Speaker 1: the money and you'll find everything that you're looking for.
• 50:54
Speaker 1: And the reason that we didn't see Rico here is
• 50:56
Speaker 1: because of all of these people who are tied to
• 50:59
Speaker 1: Epstein financially. You really mean to tell me Epstein wasn't
• 51:02
Speaker 1: out here engaging in money laundering and tax evasion and
• 51:06
Speaker 1: all the rest of it, pretty much every transaction the
• 51:09
Speaker 1: dude made would have been illegal if he was hit
• 51:12
Speaker 1: under Rico predicates, and that's why they didn't do it.
• 51:15
Speaker 2: They hit Keith Ranieri with Rico, right? Oh, they hit R.
• 51:18
Speaker 1: Kelly with Rico, right? Oh, why not Ghislaine Maxwell? Why
• 51:22
Speaker 1: not Jeffrey Epstein? Just ask yourselves that. During that time,
• 51:26
Speaker 1: Epstein withdrew a little over $ 5 million in cash, typically
• 51:30
Speaker 1: in amounts of $ 40, 000, court documents show. Meanwhile, Senator Tina Smith,
• 51:35
Speaker 1: Democrat of Minnesota, a member of the Banking, Housing, and
• 51:39
Speaker 1: Urban Affairs Committee, asked Diamond in a letter last week
• 51:42
Speaker 1: why the bank ignored obvious signs of Epstein's illegal activity
• 51:47
Speaker 1: and maintained a relationship with Epstein. Well, Tina Smith, why
• 51:51
Speaker 1: did George Mitchell, why did Bill Richardson, why did Bill Clinton,
• 51:55
Speaker 1: Go ask them that. You're a big senator, right? You're
• 51:58
Speaker 1: this big time senator. You're a big shot. Go ask
• 52:01
Speaker 1: your buddies. Go ask the people who used to call
• 52:04
Speaker 1: those very halls that you work in on a daily
• 52:07
Speaker 1: basis in D.C. home about Jeffrey Epstein and his illegal activity.
• 52:13
Speaker 1: And furthermore, Tina Smith, since you injected yourself into the conversation.
• 52:18
Speaker 1: I'm calling on you now to put together a whole
• 52:21
Speaker 1: ass committee that digs deep into this and goes for
• 52:24
