- 0:12Speaker 1: have you here on the Morning Devo every Monday through
- 0:14Speaker 1: Friday five thirty eight am. Mes to stand in time
- 0:17Speaker 1: and sometimes like today, I'm a little late, but Amen,
- 0:20Speaker 1: we're here. God is good. Amen. Woke me up, woke
- 0:24Speaker 1: you up. Amen, we could get together one more time.
- 0:26Speaker 1: I was going through my messages this morning, I lost
- 0:28Speaker 1: track of time, and someone from the text ministry that
- 0:32Speaker 1: we have says that they don't have any family. Aymen,
- 0:36Speaker 1: So I'm inviting you that person that text back early
- 0:41Speaker 1: this morning. You do have a family right here, that
- 0:43Speaker 1: soul when it is with a z RG said I
- 0:46Speaker 1: read on network. Right We're here for you, amen, and
- 0:50Speaker 1: you could join in. And once you enter into a
- 0:53Speaker 1: relationship with the Father of Heaven and Earth, you have
- 0:57Speaker 1: a forever family, brothers and sisters in that we can
- 1:01Speaker 1: forever be a part of what God is doing in
- 1:04Speaker 1: our lives. Together. Amen. Together, Good morning, sister joyous, I
- 1:08Speaker 1: see you. Good morning, God bless you. Praise the Lord. Yes,
- 1:11Speaker 1: we are praising the Lord. Amen. For a new day,
- 1:13Speaker 1: new start, a new time to get together. Amen. And
- 1:17Speaker 1: I'm just so honored and blessed to be having this
- 1:21Speaker 1: opportunity Amen, to reach as many people as I can
- 1:25Speaker 1: with the gospel message of the Lord Jesus. Amen. Sister Nils,
- 1:28Speaker 1: I see you, good morning, God bless you. It's good
- 1:30Speaker 1: to see you, my sister and my friends. So let's
- 1:32Speaker 1: go for it. I have a topic that I think
- 1:35Speaker 1: will help us during this political season. I know it
- 1:38Speaker 1: turned out for many with shocking. Concluding myself, I was
- 1:42Speaker 1: like one day to the next. I woke up the
- 1:45Speaker 1: next day and I saw half or more than half
- 1:48Speaker 1: or most of the country read and that means that
- 1:52Speaker 1: America turned right, Amen, literally speaking or figuratively speaking. And
- 1:59Speaker 1: I'm like, Wow, that's a shocker, right, And we never
- 2:01Speaker 1: thought that was gonna happen. I never thought that was
- 2:04Speaker 1: gonna happen. But we're here. It happens. So we need
- 2:06Speaker 1: to know how to deal with this to summit such
- 2:09Speaker 1: But it's blessing to others. They feel like they're cursed. Well,
- 2:14Speaker 1: that's because we internally, as human beings, we have a
- 2:19Speaker 1: desire for power a man. We want to be in control.
- 2:22Speaker 1: I don't know about you, but my flesh is always
- 2:24Speaker 1: telling me, Oh, you can handle it. You don't need God,
- 2:27Speaker 1: you don't need people. Just do it by yourself. It's
- 2:29Speaker 1: all good. Don't worry about it. That's the flesh speaking.
- 2:32Speaker 1: But when God speaks, we need to listen to the
- 2:35Speaker 1: voice of God, the voice of truth, the voice of reason,
- 2:37Speaker 1: the voice of power, the voice of love. Is God's word.
- 2:41Speaker 1: A man said, Joanne, I see you. Good morning, God,
- 2:43Speaker 1: bless you. Welcome back to the morning evil. So the
- 2:47Speaker 1: desire for power can often stem from a variety of
- 2:51Speaker 1: human motivations, like what's our motive, such as the need
- 2:55Speaker 1: for here it is control, security, or significance. We want
- 3:02Speaker 1: to be somebody that people follow. So here on the
- 3:07Speaker 1: morning devas a little different. I don't want really people
- 3:09Speaker 1: to follow me. Social media asks you or encourages you
- 3:13Speaker 1: to follow. That's great on social media platforms, on YouTube
- 3:17Speaker 1: and all that. Yeah, I invite you to follow me.
- 3:20Speaker 1: But when you come on these platforms you notice I
- 3:24Speaker 1: ask everybody please follow the Lord. Amen. Because if you're
- 3:29Speaker 1: having a desire for power and you want that here
- 3:32Speaker 1: and control, we have to go to the one who
- 3:34Speaker 1: has all authority, the one who has all power, the
- 3:37Speaker 1: one who is followed the most, and that's the Lord Jesus.
- 3:41Speaker 1: And as long as I'm following him, you're following him.
- 3:44Speaker 1: A man, we're on the narrow road to who God
- 3:47Speaker 1: wants us to be. We're good and we won't need
- 3:51Speaker 1: a power struggle down here. We won't be inside of
- 3:54Speaker 1: a power struggle down here, or at least we shouldn't
- 3:57Speaker 1: in the body of Christ. I know there's a lot
- 4:00Speaker 1: of organized churches and a lot of ministries and all
- 4:03Speaker 1: that that seek out power and authority here on earth
- 4:07Speaker 1: and they want people to follow them, validate them, and
- 4:09Speaker 1: all that stuff. But that's them, that's not over here.
- 4:12Speaker 1: So the desire for power and man, it should be
- 4:15Speaker 1: connected with the desire to follow God. If man, we're
- 4:19Speaker 1: gonna be in Relationshipter five, Verses sixteen and seventeen, that's
- 4:23Speaker 1: where we're gonna start. I got a lot more for this, amen,
- 4:26Speaker 1: So let's get right to it. I know I started late.
- 4:29Speaker 1: My apologies, but let's go. If you have any questions, comments, concerns,
- 4:34Speaker 1: any prayer requests, or anything along those lines, don't hesitate
- 4:37Speaker 1: to leave it on a live chat. That's what we're
- 4:38Speaker 1: here for. We're gonna pray first. After we pray, we'll
- 4:41Speaker 1: share this out for like sixty seconds. Help me share
- 4:44Speaker 1: this out even after the sixty seconds, even if I'm
- 4:46Speaker 1: not live, you can help me share this out. There's
- 4:49Speaker 1: somebody out there that's waiting to hear the truth of
- 4:52Speaker 1: the Lord Jesus. There's somebody out there who needs family,
- 4:55Speaker 1: who needs encouragement, who needs prayer, who needs love, who
- 4:59Speaker 1: needs grace, who needs mercy. Amen. We are part of
- 5:02Speaker 1: that family that could allow that to happen through us. Amen.
- 5:07Speaker 1: So we're not looking for self significance or power. What
- 5:11Speaker 1: does is say human motivations? None of that. Our motivation
- 5:17Speaker 1: comes from Holy Spirit God, and we're motivated to go
- 5:20Speaker 1: help others, to serve others. Amen. With the Gospel message,
- 5:23Speaker 1: we could save others from eternal damnation. But we have
- 5:28Speaker 1: what we need. We have what we have, and we
- 5:31Speaker 1: cherish what we have, but we give away when God
- 5:33Speaker 1: has freely given us. Brother, I am and I see you.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Good morning, blessings blessings to you as well. God bless
- 5:38Speaker 1: you early this morning right up with us. Amen. Thank
- 5:42Speaker 1: you so much for coming through. God bless you, my bro.
- 5:45Speaker 1: So let's go for it. Let's pray first. After we pray,
- 5:47Speaker 1: we'll share this out. Father, in the name of Jesus,
- 5:49Speaker 1: thank you that we don't have a desire for power,
- 5:52Speaker 1: for earthly power. We have a desire to tap into
- 5:55Speaker 1: the power because you are the source of our power.
- 5:58Speaker 1: You are almighty, You are are sovereign, you are in control,
- 6:02Speaker 1: and you are trustworthy. Thank you, Lord God for doing
- 6:04Speaker 1: what you have done in my life and the lives
- 6:06Speaker 1: of so many other people that I know, and even
- 6:08Speaker 1: the people I don't know, all around the world. Brothers
- 6:11Speaker 1: and sisters of Christ, brothers and sisters of our Father
- 6:15Speaker 1: in Heaven. Thank you, Lord God for saving and rescuing
- 6:18Speaker 1: us and inviting all those who call upon your name
- 6:21Speaker 1: to be saved. I pray, Lord God, the power of
- 6:24Speaker 1: protection over every single family member and my family, my household,
- 6:28Speaker 1: my marriage, our children, and the same over every single
- 6:31Speaker 1: person representing their families on the other side of the
- 6:34Speaker 1: screen and on the other side of this might. Bless them,
- 6:37Speaker 1: guide them, guard them, protect them. Dispatch your angels Lord,
- 6:41Speaker 1: all around this world, to protect your children, to guide
- 6:45Speaker 1: your children, to encourage by way of Holy Spirit, all
- 6:48Speaker 1: those who are discoveraged right now, all those who it
- 6:51Speaker 1: might not be going the way they wanted it to
- 6:53Speaker 1: go when it comes to the whole desire for power,
- 6:58Speaker 1: Father God, but I pray that we wouldn't know who
- 7:01Speaker 1: the powerful one is, the most powerful one ever to
- 7:04Speaker 1: live for all eternity, is the Lord. Thank you, Lord
- 7:08Speaker 1: for rescuing us and doing what you have done, and
- 7:10Speaker 1: loving us so much that you demonstrated your own love
- 7:13Speaker 1: in this that while we were still sinners, you still
- 7:16Speaker 1: died for us and to offer us eternal life. And
- 7:19Speaker 1: thank you for paying to sin that a debt that
- 7:21Speaker 1: you didn't owe, but you paid it because you love us.
- 7:23Speaker 1: And Jesus Name, I prayed this by faith with thanksgiving,
- 7:26Speaker 1: knowing that you hear these prayers and you answer them
- 7:29Speaker 1: according to your purpose and plan. For every individual person
- 7:33Speaker 1: that's calling upon your name right now. In Jesus Name,
- 7:36Speaker 1: and those who agree, we say amen and amen, let's
- 7:39Speaker 1: go for it. Help me share this out for sixty seconds.
- 7:41Speaker 1: When we come back, we'll get into Galatians chapter number
- 7:44Speaker 1: five Versus sixteen or seventeen. At the starting point of
- 7:47Speaker 1: today's morning devo, the desire for power, I'll be write back,
- 9:08Speaker 1: all right, let's go, let's go. The desire for power.
- 9:12Speaker 1: I mean, do we have that desire in us? I
- 9:15Speaker 1: believe we do, a man, I believe we're destined for greatness.
- 9:20Speaker 1: But in the middle, there somewhere along the line, if
- 9:22Speaker 1: we don't have Christ by way of Holy Spirit controlling
- 9:25Speaker 1: that desire, when we could go off into different lanes
- 9:28Speaker 1: that we're not supposed to be on, different pasts that
- 9:31Speaker 1: we're not supposed to be on, and we have we're
- 9:34Speaker 1: meet people. The Bible says the meek shall inherit the earth. Amen,
- 9:38Speaker 1: and meek is power under control as far as I know.
- 9:42Speaker 1: And we have this power, we have authority in Christ.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Outside of that, we're just reaching. We're fishing. I call
- 9:48Speaker 1: it for our own significance, for power, for authority, to
- 9:52Speaker 1: be known, to be famous. And that's not what God
- 9:55Speaker 1: wants for us. Amen. We need to make him famous.
- 9:57Speaker 1: He's already the most famous one anyway. Man. So let's
- 10:00Speaker 1: go along with what God wants us to do, not
- 10:02Speaker 1: what the flesh wants us to do. Let's go and
- 10:05Speaker 1: be guided by the Spirit, not by the flesh. With
- 10:08Speaker 1: great power comes great responsibility. Yes, great power comes great responsibility.
- 10:14Speaker 1: That's a good statement, and it's true. So we know
- 10:17Speaker 1: that Amen. And how many people have we seen that power?
- 10:22Speaker 1: They want that significance, they want that credibility, and they
- 10:26Speaker 1: want to be followed by all these millions of people.
- 10:28Speaker 1: So that way they could say, I have millions of
- 10:30Speaker 1: followers all around the world. That's great. As long as
- 10:33Speaker 1: you're leading those millions of followers to the Lord. Amen,
- 10:37Speaker 1: you're meeting them. You're leading the millions to the one
- 10:40Speaker 1: and only, true, holy, righteous, loving God of heaven and Earth.
- 10:44Speaker 1: And he's a blessing for that. Non No, God, bless
- 10:46Speaker 1: you man, Good morning, God, bless you. Welcome to the morning.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Devi rosingshein right. So desire, the desire for power, Amen.
- 10:54Speaker 1: And this could go so many music industry and politics
- 10:58Speaker 1: and churches and men all over businesses corporate America. We
- 11:04Speaker 1: see people with the desire for power, and how they
- 11:07Speaker 1: move with that desire is ify sometimes. But when you're
- 11:12Speaker 1: guide it by Holy Spirit. And I'm gonna get into
- 11:14Speaker 1: that word right now. When you got about the Holy Spirit,
- 11:16Speaker 1: you're okay, don't worry. Amen. God's full filled us with
- 11:20Speaker 1: power and authority. Amen. So we got what we need
- 11:23Speaker 1: to live this life out in godliness and righteousness. So
- 11:27Speaker 1: it says it right here, and Galatians chatter number of five.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Verses sixteen and seventeen, the Bible says, so I say
- 11:36Speaker 1: walk by the spirit, and you will not gratify the
- 11:40Speaker 1: desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary.
- 11:47Speaker 1: It's opposing to what God wants. To the spirit. And
- 11:51Speaker 1: the spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are
- 11:55Speaker 1: in ladies and gentlemen conflict with each other. That means
- 11:59Speaker 1: this war between a flesh and a spirit, so that
- 12:02Speaker 1: you are not to do whatever you want. You notice
- 12:06Speaker 1: that people feel entitled. They have the desire for power,
- 12:10Speaker 1: so they want to They think they deserve this, and
- 12:14Speaker 1: they deserve that. And also they no longer do this,
- 12:17Speaker 1: and they longer do that. I've heard people say I
- 12:19Speaker 1: don't do that no more. Like I'm talking about servings
- 12:22Speaker 1: of the Lord Jesus. They say, I don't do that
- 12:24Speaker 1: no more. And to me it's strange of like, what
- 12:27Speaker 1: don't you do if it's part of serving other people? Amen,
- 12:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna go all out. I'll do what needs to
- 12:34Speaker 1: be done from now so Jesus comes and gets me.
- 12:37Speaker 1: If it seems like a demotion or it seems degrading,
- 12:40Speaker 1: or whatever. Then I got to check myself, a man,
- 12:42Speaker 1: check my pride. You know, whatever has to be done, right,
- 12:48Speaker 1: let's do it. I think when the church gets together,
- 12:51Speaker 1: we have a community around us outside there, let's go
- 12:54Speaker 1: and get them. Hey, man, that's my attitude about it.
- 12:57Speaker 1: We have everything we need to go and get souls
- 12:59Speaker 1: and to reach them. Yeah, we could plant it out,
- 13:03Speaker 1: but bottom line, you can make all the plans you
- 13:04Speaker 1: want if you don't step outside and be guided by
- 13:07Speaker 1: Holy Spirit and don't satisfy the desires of the flesh.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Because we know there's a war going on, so we
- 13:13Speaker 1: need to use every asset we have in the body
- 13:16Speaker 1: of Christ to go and reach souls with the gospel message.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Or else we'll just do whatever we want and be
- 13:24Speaker 1: guided by the flesh, and that won't be a good time.
- 13:27Speaker 1: It won't do really much. But give us what we
- 13:31Speaker 1: want in the flesh. Amen. And last time I checked,
- 13:34Speaker 1: God doesn't want us to be guided by the flesh.
- 13:37Speaker 1: He wants us to be guided by Holy Spirit. God. Amen.
- 13:40Speaker 1: So that's why I wanted to start real quick. But
- 13:42Speaker 1: look at this. The desire for power stems from various motivations,
- 13:48Speaker 1: but from a biblical perspective, it's important to understand the
- 13:52Speaker 1: nature of true power, right, because if you have a
- 13:56Speaker 1: desire for power, you already have a definition of that power.
- 14:00Speaker 1: When we need true power, it comes from God and
- 14:04Speaker 1: New Testament. True power is associated with the presence and work,
- 14:11Speaker 1: the presence and work of the Holy Spirit, and a
- 14:16Speaker 1: believer's life. In a believer's life, let me give you
- 14:20Speaker 1: for instance, let me get the screen changed over here.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Let me give your for instance, gotta check my timer, okay.
- 14:28Speaker 1: In the Book of Acts, I love the Book of Acts.
- 14:31Speaker 1: It's like it's like the marvel of the Bible. How
- 14:34Speaker 1: the disciples had that supernatural right and we still have
- 14:39Speaker 1: that supernatural energy, that supernatural power. And they did exploits,
- 14:43Speaker 1: and they were casting out demons, and people were getting rescued,
- 14:48Speaker 1: and people were getting healed. The lame would hear, the
- 14:51Speaker 1: blind would see, the cripple will walk. So it's like
- 14:55Speaker 1: the superpowers of the apostles and live in action and
- 14:59Speaker 1: men as they were going about preaching the gospel. So
- 15:02Speaker 1: in the Book of Acts, Chapter one, verse eight, Jesus
- 15:06Speaker 1: tells his disciples and if you're born again and you're
- 15:12Speaker 1: aiding new a new creation, Amen, make sure, your disciple. Amen,
- 15:16Speaker 1: I'm literally going to a discipleship class to refresh, to
- 15:19Speaker 1: refresh my memory of what this is the core message
- 15:22Speaker 1: of the Gospel. Amen, I'm not too far from not
- 15:27Speaker 1: being reminded of who I am in Christ. Amen. So
- 15:31Speaker 1: for those people who are seeking power and you're thinking,
- 15:36Speaker 1: for some whatever reason, you graduated from whatever Christian level
- 15:41Speaker 1: you think you're going above or below, be careful with that. Amen.
- 15:45Speaker 1: I would desire to serve Jesus because he's the ultimate
- 15:48Speaker 1: power source. Our desire is to serve the Lord in
- 15:51Speaker 1: any capacity. He'll gift you and annoint you for certain things,
- 15:55Speaker 1: Amen's specific things that he wants you to use for
- 15:58Speaker 1: the gospel message wants you to use to expand the
- 16:01Speaker 1: Kingdom of God and Man. You could use that, but
- 16:04Speaker 1: also don't be afraid to dive in and get your
- 16:07Speaker 1: hands dirty and get your boots on the ground and
- 16:09Speaker 1: go out there to the unpolished world. This whole thing
- 16:13Speaker 1: about a polished gospel, I don't know where it comes from,
- 16:16Speaker 1: because if you look at the Gospel at its core,
- 16:18Speaker 1: a man, it was messy, and then you look at
- 16:20Speaker 1: Jesus on the cross, it was gruesome. So this beautiful
- 16:25Speaker 1: gospel that people are thinking about or preaching about a man.
- 16:29Speaker 1: They need to explain that to me. Where do you
- 16:31Speaker 1: see that? In the scriptures? I see a lot of pain, hurt, struggle.
- 16:34Speaker 1: I see victory. Of course, ultimately we have the ultimate victory.
- 16:38Speaker 1: I see the power of God by way of his
- 16:40Speaker 1: Holy Spirit through his children. Yes, but they have to
- 16:43Speaker 1: go out, just like we have to go out. And
- 16:46Speaker 1: it's not all good and it's not all roses. Every
- 16:48Speaker 1: day a man, every day is a good day in Christ,
- 16:52Speaker 1: but every day it's not a good day in this
- 16:54Speaker 1: world system. I hope you get what I'm saying. So
- 16:56Speaker 1: in Book of Acts, chapter one, Versus eight, Jesus tell
- 16:59Speaker 1: us it's as but you will receive power when what happens,
- 17:04Speaker 1: when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you
- 17:08Speaker 1: shall be my witnesses upon both. In Jerusalem, your current
- 17:14Speaker 1: state area city, in all Judea, you're surrounding places and
- 17:19Speaker 1: Samaria outside of your city and outside of your state.
- 17:23Speaker 1: And even listen to this, even to the remotest part
- 17:28Speaker 1: of the earth. Missionaries, we're out there going to please
- 17:33Speaker 1: places and people that have never heard the gospel in
- 17:36Speaker 1: their native tongue. God is sending people out there. So
- 17:40Speaker 1: if this is not true like many people say it
- 17:43Speaker 1: is or think it is, then we're spreading lives all
- 17:46Speaker 1: over the world. Never that, we're spreading the truth all
- 17:49Speaker 1: over the world, and we're being empowered to spread that
- 17:52Speaker 1: truth by way of Holy Spirit. The promised Holy Spirit
- 17:56Speaker 1: has already been released side of a believer, Amen, being
- 18:02Speaker 1: poured in to every single believer and the earth. This
- 18:07Speaker 1: power is not about control, right. God is not sending
- 18:10Speaker 1: missionaries to go colonize people. At least we shouldn't be
- 18:15Speaker 1: trying to take over land, to colonize it or to
- 18:18Speaker 1: gentrify it. For the name of Jesus. I mean, I
- 18:21Speaker 1: know that's been done. We see the Crusades, we see
- 18:24Speaker 1: all that through history. I wasn't there, that you wasn't there.
- 18:26Speaker 1: But it's history, nonetheless, and there should have been repentance
- 18:30Speaker 1: for that, and hopefully on those crusaders and those lines
- 18:34Speaker 1: of thinking have been repenting for that. God doesn't want
- 18:38Speaker 1: us to go there. He wants the power to be
- 18:41Speaker 1: about who He is, Amen, and we go in that
- 18:44Speaker 1: full power. So the power is not about control or dominance.
- 18:48Speaker 1: It's about being equipped to live out the Christian life.
- 18:53Speaker 1: And share the gospel. Amen. That's true power. Right there,
- 18:57Speaker 1: we meet people power under control a man. We go
- 19:01Speaker 1: and share more power for more people to understand the
- 19:05Speaker 1: gospel message of the Lord and Savior, the one who
- 19:09Speaker 1: has all power, the one who has all dominion. He
- 19:12Speaker 1: could if God wanted to, he could just dominate us
- 19:16Speaker 1: right now, force us to serve him, and force this
- 19:19Speaker 1: world system to be a theocracy. Amen. But he's not
- 19:22Speaker 1: going to do that. Man, that's not the God that
- 19:25Speaker 1: we serve. If he was a god like that, he
- 19:28Speaker 1: would have been done with us already. Why would God
- 19:31Speaker 1: need us? Why would God want all this drama and
- 19:34Speaker 1: this chaos a man that he sees all over the earth. No,
- 19:37Speaker 1: he's a loving God. He's a saving God. He's a
- 19:40Speaker 1: responding God. He's holy spirit God that lives in us.
- 19:44Speaker 1: The apostle Paul speaks of God's power being made perfect
- 19:48Speaker 1: when we find our weaknesses. Second Corinthians, chapter number twelve,
- 19:53Speaker 1: verse number nine. So the suggestion here is that true
- 19:58Speaker 1: power is not about human strength. Because if it was
- 20:01Speaker 1: about human strength and true power was about how how
- 20:06Speaker 1: much weight I can live, or how many things I
- 20:10Speaker 1: could get, how much money I have, it was all
- 20:12Speaker 1: about that. Then it would be a short, a short message,
- 20:16Speaker 1: and the gospel would be real short, real lame, real predictable.
- 20:20Speaker 1: How many people know that God is not predictable? Amen,
- 20:23Speaker 1: he's trustworthy though, I mean, we can know that we
- 20:26Speaker 1: can trust him, but he's not predictable. How many times
- 20:29Speaker 1: have you prayed? I know for me, I prayed for
- 20:32Speaker 1: this and for that, and God, please, I need your help.
- 20:35Speaker 1: And it seems like he doesn't do it the way
- 20:38Speaker 1: I would want him to do it. Not even seems
- 20:41Speaker 1: it is the way. He like that a lot of times,
- 20:43Speaker 1: but he does it. Won't God do it right? Won't
- 20:46Speaker 1: God be willing to help us out in the time
- 20:49Speaker 1: of need? Absolutely so, Apostle Paul and Philippians four thirteen
- 20:56Speaker 1: says I can do all things. And this is where
- 21:01Speaker 1: people get a little twisted when it comes to the
- 21:04Speaker 1: desire for power. The Bible literally says I can do
- 21:08Speaker 1: all things. If you leave it right there, people will
- 21:11Speaker 1: puff their chest up and say I can do all things.
- 21:13Speaker 1: The Word says it, so there's nothing impossible for me.
- 21:17Speaker 1: But let's read what the scripture really says. Oilympius, Chapter fourth,
- 21:20Speaker 1: verse thirteen. I can do all things. Through Him who
- 21:25Speaker 1: strengthens me. So when God calls you to do something
- 21:28Speaker 1: a man, He'll give you the strength to get that
- 21:30Speaker 1: thing done. And it should be something in our minds
- 21:33Speaker 1: that seems impossible. God, you want me to do what
- 21:36Speaker 1: I can't do? That that's impossible. You see that. So
- 21:39Speaker 1: in our weakness he shows strength. But when we trust
- 21:41Speaker 1: in Him, the one who has full authority, full power,
- 21:44Speaker 1: he calls you to do something a man, he qualifies
- 21:47Speaker 1: the so called unqualified. You don't have to have a ministry,
- 21:50Speaker 1: a church. You don't have to be impossible a pastor,
- 21:52Speaker 1: a teacher, a prophet, and evangelists to get the works
- 21:55Speaker 1: of God done through you. Amen. You just have to
- 21:58Speaker 1: be willing, and you have to be willing to set
- 22:01Speaker 1: aside your motivation and grasp onto the motivation of Holy
- 22:06Speaker 1: Spirit working in you. Amen, That's where the power is.
- 22:11Speaker 1: So I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Emphasizing that our ability to live and act comes from
- 22:19Speaker 1: Christ's power within us. So ultimately, the desire for power
- 22:24Speaker 1: should be transformed into a desire to depend on God's power.
- 22:31Speaker 1: You see that works? Amen, don't follow me if I'm
- 22:34Speaker 1: not following Christ A man, let's follow the leader. Amen,
- 22:38Speaker 1: he's the Lord. Don't follow me if I'm not following Christ.
- 22:42Speaker 1: So we know the purpose. This aligns us with the
- 22:45Speaker 1: new identity that we have in Christ, where we are
- 22:49Speaker 1: called to walk by spirit and bear the fruit of
- 22:52Speaker 1: the Spirit, where we read our first scripture in Relations
- 22:55Speaker 1: chapter five. So I'm out of time, a man. I
- 22:57Speaker 1: hope you get what I'm saying. I hope you get
- 22:59Speaker 1: the message. Please, Lord help us a man with this
- 23:02Speaker 1: desire for power. Let it not be about us. That
- 23:05Speaker 1: would be about you working through us. A managine we
- 23:07Speaker 1: could guide people in the right direction. So if you
- 23:09Speaker 1: have time today Reglations chapter five, the whole chapter, A man,
- 23:13Speaker 1: you can remind this later on to get what I
- 23:15Speaker 1: was saying before. And I hope and I pray the
- 23:18Speaker 1: Holy Spirit will remind you that true power comes from
- 23:20Speaker 1: the source, and He's the source. So God bless you all,
- 23:24Speaker 1: God keep you all, and remember always that God is good.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Please
