0:06
Hey, everybody, it's Daniel Will trekcast and I just finished watching Star Trek
0:09
Discovery Season five, episode four, Face to the Stranger. If you have
0:14
not watched the episode yet, this quick reaction is going to have some spoilers,
0:18
so I would wait to listen to this until you have watched the episode.
0:23
So this was a pretty interesting episode. We got to see Burnham and
0:30
Rayner and Stammett's traveling through time, traveling through discoveries both past and future,
0:36
possible future. You know. This This episode was kind of neat. You
0:40
could definitely tell that they took the opportunity to answer a lot of the online
0:46
criticism that the crew is too familiar with each other and to emotional connected.
0:52
They definitely did bring that up quite a bit, so that was the whole
0:55
point of the episode, and they took it on and they gave reasons to
0:59
why the crew acts the way they act. I thought it was interesting that
1:03
they felt the need to do that, but you know whatever, that's what
1:07
they wanted to do. It was also kind of cool to see how far
1:11
we've come in this series, how different the characters are, So that was
1:15
a good thing to do for the series, especially in its final season,
1:19
but you know I can't wait to talk about it more with the guys.
1:22
So we will see you on Sunday on Durcast
