Randy Gregg, a family physician from Edmonton, ranks 22nd on the Top 100 Oilers list and is one of just seven players to win all five of the Oilers’ Stanley Cups—from 1984 to 1990. His journey blended medicine and hockey like few others: he played in Japan to preserve his amateur status, captained Team Canada at the 1980 Olympics, turned down NHL offers to build the national team, and won two national titles with the University of Alberta Golden Bears.
