Latest / Brandon Fogal Evolution / #200 - Ben Shapiro Joins the Chaos | Nick Fuentes Can’t Be Ignored Now
Transcript
- 0:00Ben Shapiro has thrown his hat into the ring, and now he is discussing the Nick
- 0:06Fuentes story that continues to develop.
- 0:09And it's primarily because of Tucker Carlson, and that is what launched this
- 0:15whole thing into hypersonic mode that we find ourselves in.
- 0:20Nick is a very eccentric person. He has been on the Internet since he was probably
- 0:26around 15, 16 years old. So he has a lot of track record, but he started very, very young.
- 0:33And as you can say, if you start that young, you're going to say things that maybe you regret.
- 0:39I don't know if he regrets any of the things he says. I don't think he thinks like that.
- 0:42Maybe we shouldn't think like that, but he has certainly said a lot of crazy things.
- 0:47And in Ben Shapiro's show yesterday that was released right after I got done with mine.
- 0:52Ben Shapiro got into it and he explained why this is dangerous waters that we
- 0:59are in and what Tucker did. And he primarily focused on Tucker.
- 1:02He didn't get into Nick Fuentes a whole lot, though he showed plenty of clips
- 1:07of Nick Fuentes and the craziest things that he has said.
- 1:11He throws bombs. He throws grenades like nobody's business.
- 1:14But I want to take a look at this. This is where this is the issue that Ben Shapiro raised.
- 1:20He said it's not an issue that Tucker brought Nick Fuentes on his show,
- 1:25but the issue is that he is normalizing Nick Fuentes.
- 1:29I want to show this clip and then we'll dissect it.
- 1:33The issue here isn't that Tucker Carlson had Nick Fuentes on his show last week.
- 1:36He has every right to do that, of course.
- 1:38The issue here is that Tucker Carlson decided to normalize and fluff Nick Fuentes
- 1:42and that the Heritage Foundation then decided to robustly defend that performance.
- 1:47Those who criticize both Tucker and Heritage aren't canceling,
- 1:50they are quite properly drawing a moral line.
- 1:53So for those who don't understand what's going on, let's begin with Nick Fuentes.
- 1:58Now, as I mentioned. Okay, so he's going to get it. He gets into it pretty in
- 2:02depth, though. He primarily targets Tucker.
- 2:05He but he just throws out. This is where I'm saying that, Ben,
- 2:09you need to bring just like Tucker eventually did. You need to bring Nick Fuentes
- 2:14on your show and you need to have a discussion.
- 2:17What Charlie Kirk didn't do when he when he was alive, he did not engage with
- 2:22Nick Fuentes. And I think that is, that ended up, I think it's because he thought
- 2:26he had more time, but that ended up being a terrible thing.
- 2:31We cannot, and he says, Bench says it's not canceling someone,
- 2:35but it is canceling someone when you're not acknowledging them.
- 2:38When he this person has this big of a platform, big of a voice,
- 2:42a megaphone that he is reaching the masses. This is the way that things are going.
- 2:47And I don't I mean, I'm actually completely on board with this.
- 2:51I think the parties need to completely to be need to be burned to the ground,
- 2:55burn this motherfucker to the ground.
- 2:57These Republican and Democrats. This is stupid.
- 3:01The way that we've allowed this to last for this long.
- 3:04But something needs to just ignite something a change is need to happen I know it becomes.
- 3:11Extremely tribal but like and then it becomes I'm behind this person I'm not
- 3:16behind that person let's throw all of that out of the window it's what is the
- 3:20ideas ideas need to rise and I think what Ben has done for years he's just not
- 3:25even talked about Nick Fuentes instead of just,
- 3:28slowly engaging with them, talking about where we differ.
- 3:32You know, Nick is going to say some crazy things. We all know that.
- 3:36He says the craziest things out there. And I mean, I do not agree with a lot
- 3:42of the things he says. He's entertaining.
- 3:45That's what he is. That's why everyone is so afraid of him is because he's so
- 3:50freaking entertaining.
- 3:51And he just says the things that people really are thinking.
- 3:57But Nick just says it. Nick just says it.
- 4:00And that's why everybody is so afraid of this guy.
- 4:03But you can't, there's no more of just hiding and just saying,
- 4:07not thinking he's on our planet. He is. And he's growing.
- 4:11We need to acknowledge. Tucker acknowledged him. And now he's getting a tremendous
- 4:16blowback. The next clip we're going to look at, this is Nick Fuentes.
- 4:19And he says how extreme he has gotten.
- 4:23And he thinks that the whole MAGA movement, because he was, when he was brought
- 4:27into this, he was a Trump supporter. He was a MAGA supporter and all that.
- 4:32You know, MAGA, Trump, I mean, I like Trump, but the whole MAGA thing,
- 4:36I mean, I've never been a person like, oh, I'm MAGA, let's make America great again.
- 4:41But I liked what Trump did and what he is doing. He is the best option.
- 4:46That's why I would disagree a lot of ways that Nick's doing this.
- 4:49He is seriously just wanting to burn it down. He wants to, it's not about just
- 4:53putting another politician out there.
- 4:56That is his biggest thing. It's a message. He wants to send a message to the thing.
- 5:01He wants to, because once he talks about when you get to election day,
- 5:05you're just, that's what you have.
- 5:06You're not really making a choice once election day actually gets here.
- 5:10It's all, everything that builds up to election day that is what matters, you know?
- 5:16I think it's just, we need to figure out a different way of doing things.
- 5:21Status quo is not going to work anymore. Gen Z, the generation that is rising,
- 5:26that is going to be taking over.
- 5:28The boomer generation is slowly, you know, they're passing away.
- 5:32The Gen Z, that is the way things are going. So it's people that are stuck in
- 5:36their ways like Ben Shapiro, and they just want to push this to the side, not even deal with it.
- 5:41Charlie Kirk, he dealt with it every day. He talked to these kids. He was in there.
- 5:48That's why he was what strikes me the most and shocks me the most that he didn't bring Nick on.
- 5:54Like he didn't talk and I think it was the Israel side
- 5:57the Jewish side of his donors that they didn't
- 6:00want this that they were the ones holding him back and saying you can't do this
- 6:04they I think Charlie Kirk because he talked to everyone he wanted to talk to
- 6:09everyone but they're the reason that he didn't it had to be coming from the
- 6:14same side that Ben Shapiro's on and I I like Israel I I don't like, I don't like, but I,
- 6:19they're, they're doing, they're terrible at, they're terrible at like running
- 6:24the story and making themselves, they, they fit all the, the things that people
- 6:29would think that they look stupid about.
- 6:31They, they, they fit into all those picturesque moments that everybody just assumes is them.
- 6:37They fit the mold perfectly. And they're, I guess they're terrible at PR.
- 6:42That is what I'm trying to say. Like they're terrible at PR and making themselves
- 6:47look in the best light possible.
- 6:48And I think they're trying to change that. And they wanted to have Charlie Kirk
- 6:52be the face of the person that just touts Israel and Jewish propaganda as opposed.
- 7:00And they didn't want to deal with the uprising that was coming from Nick Fuentes.
- 7:05I don't think we need to throw everything out. I think we can take the good
- 7:09and remove the bad from everything.
- 7:11Like I'm gonna if Nick says something stupid and crazy I would say yes that
- 7:14that's insane what you're saying and he's able to get clicks he's able to get
- 7:19views by the things he says.
- 7:22I think there just has to be a complete mind shift with the way things are going.
- 7:26There has to be a difference the way things are heading.
- 7:30And I think that Nick Fuentes, he's the start of that. He's the spark.
- 7:34This just goes to show this entire thing has been a scam.
- 7:37When we look back on the history of populism in America, we are going to look
- 7:42back on the MAGA movement as the biggest scam in American history.
- 7:46And the liberals were right.
- 7:48The MAGA supporters were had. They were. So, that right there is just a brief
- 7:53glimpse into the twisted mind of Nick Fuentes.
- 7:55And there's plenty more where that came from, of course.
- 7:58Hours of it per day, in fact. And there's no doubt that Nick Fuentes has a lot of play these days.
- 8:03That's because the left, by moving into a politics of anti-white,
- 8:06anti-Christian, anti-male identitarianism, created its bizarro mirror image.
- 8:11A white pseudo-Christian incel identitarian movement dedicated to destroying
- 8:15the institutions of this country and replacing Americanism with something else.
- 8:20Nick Fuentes' philosophy is not fully formed. It's an incoherent stew of malignity.
- 8:24But that's where Tucker Carlson enters the story. All right,
- 8:27that's what we're going to, and I think that's a very smart point,
- 8:30but because the things that Nick says, because it has to be about a message.
- 8:35He just wants to disrupt everything.
- 8:38He doesn't want the things to continue as they were.
- 8:41And he saw Trump as being the person that would basically torch the system and
- 8:48remake it. remake it and change it.
- 8:51And then he thinks that Trump is not doing that, which, I mean,
- 8:54you could say Trump is his own thing. He's the way that he has run his presidency.
- 8:58It's, it's, it's different. It's not, it's not the way it started out as,
- 9:02and we've, I was pretty much disillusioned by Trump whenever the Epstein files,
- 9:07when he didn't want to acknowledge that.
- 9:08And I think a lot of people were, but that has been just falling off the radar.
- 9:12People don't really care about that as much anymore, but Nick,
- 9:15he wants things to be changed. He wants things to be different, but it doesn't...
- 9:20There's no solution a lot of times with what he is bringing.
- 9:24He just wants to bring a match, you know, and start the fire and just watch
- 9:29it, you know, and I'm, I'm actually okay with that because I don't like the
- 9:32political structure that we have, you know, I just be left, right.
- 9:36And all this kind of stuff, let, let ideas be what, what wins the day.
- 9:41You know, that's what matters. If you have a good idea, if what you're saying
- 9:44is, you know, going to advance and, and make things better for people, then that's great.
- 9:51That's, I think that is where we should go and just people just be in a part
- 9:55of a party and just swearing allegiance to a party. And that's, that's everything.
- 10:00That's your life or just to one singular person, because where everybody sees
- 10:05everything differently, you know, somebody can be saying the same thing and
- 10:09everybody hear it 10 different ways, you know?
- 10:11So we're not, you know, just a monolith in the way that we think Everybody thinks
- 10:16and sees things differently.
- 10:18And I think Nick is, this is a good direction that we were going.
- 10:21And Ben Shapiro and all the people on his side, you know, there is this,
- 10:26he's got to acknowledge it.
- 10:28And he softly acknowledged it on his show yesterday and talking about Nick Fuentes,
- 10:33but it was just clips to just discredit him.
- 10:36That's all it was. That's all it was, you know, because I mean,
- 10:40I listened to the things that Nick says in a lot of the, it is just out there.
- 10:44And I disagree with like, like a lot of it, you know, but he's also saying a
- 10:49lot of things that are correct and a lot of things that are right,
- 10:51you know, but everybody's, I think everybody should get involved in this.
- 10:57Everybody should be aware of what is happening because this,
- 11:01this needs to be the, the catalyst for everything in the political environment
- 11:05that we find ourselves in every day.
- 11:07So, all right, we'll leave it at that. Like, and share this video,
