Mexican Drug Trafficker Sentenced in Canada | Portland News
A Mexican national, Fernando Adolip Cruz-Lerma, is facing 14 years in prison after being extradited from Canada for his role in a meth trafficking ring tied to Oregon. He helped orchestrate a murder in Clackamas County over a drug debt, transported the victim to Oregon, and assisted in disposing of the body. While his accomplice received a 26-year sentence, Cruz-Lerma fled to Calgary shortly after, where he was arrested on an Oregon warrant and later pleaded guilty — now also ordered to pay over $3,000 in restitution.
