- 0:00Speaker 1: Chick and chick.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Yelling sports.
- 0:06Speaker 1: We can do football football. Yeah, that's kind of where
- 0:09Speaker 1: we are now, right, yeah, yeah.
- 0:16Speaker 3: Podcast, come twenty five way tucking football.
- 0:22Speaker 1: It's already in there.
- 0:23Speaker 4: I forgot that was the original.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Leave all that, even leaving the part where I said
- 0:29Speaker 1: we're gonna do football, hold on already a crap out
- 0:32Speaker 1: of guy. The original had football already.
- 0:36Speaker 4: About to say.
- 0:37Speaker 1: I was like the syllables a little off. I didn't
- 0:39Speaker 1: know I know who was going to do it. Read Okay,
- 0:45Speaker 1: hello everybody, we're back from vacation. Oh man, Well there's
- 0:49Speaker 1: a gap because we yell sports and I said, hey,
- 0:54Speaker 1: let's just do play the football. One we've never yelled football.
- 0:57Speaker 4: You said let's just do football.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You didn't say play the football, let's just do football.
- 1:01Speaker 1: So Mike hit it and none of us yelled football.
- 1:04Speaker 1: I think I guess we all knew. Yeah, so we're
- 1:07Speaker 1: gonna play it again. All good? Read all right, okay,
- 1:11Speaker 1: go ahead. This is a podcast called twenty.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Five Wists Stuck and fun ball and they whizz so yeah,
- 1:22Speaker 3: it's too bad.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Fun What did you expect?
- 1:25Speaker 3: It's a podcast called twenty five whistline.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Hey we're back, Thank you, ed. It is a really
- 1:33Speaker 1: good episode that we did last week with Jeff Pearlman.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Told some great stories. He's been a big time writer
- 1:39Speaker 1: of books for sports illustrated a lot of things, a
- 1:41Speaker 1: lot of great stories. Go check out that episode or
- 1:43Speaker 1: just that interview if you'd like. It's really one of
- 1:45Speaker 1: the most fun things. That one of the most fun
- 1:48Speaker 1: interviews that I've been able to do on this show,
- 1:51Speaker 1: aside from like somebody super famous, like geeking out over
- 1:54Speaker 1: the fame.
- 1:54Speaker 3: And impressive how much he knew about just random sports thing.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I do want to say this. We started with
- 1:59Speaker 1: read Let's just start free. So went to the card
- 2:04Speaker 1: shop yesterday and so I went to pick up some cards,
- 2:08Speaker 1: some cards that's en up to be graded from PSA.
- 2:11Speaker 1: So it's a drop off spot called Nashcards to drop
- 2:13Speaker 1: them off and a month later they show up. You
- 2:15Speaker 1: pay like twenty bucks a card to get graded. Boom.
- 2:19Speaker 1: I never buy cards at the card shop because I
- 2:22Speaker 1: know there's a big markup. Most of the stuff that
- 2:24Speaker 1: I have I'm just grading myself. I'm trying to sell.
- 2:28Speaker 1: I saw Caitlin clark autographed card at the card shop
- 2:31Speaker 1: and I said, hey, how much of that one and
- 2:33Speaker 1: they said four fifty. So they pulled the card out,
- 2:35Speaker 1: had a little tag on it, like a tag like
- 2:37Speaker 1: at a yard sale you do a little gun.
- 2:39Speaker 3: Yeah, the old school text was going.
- 2:41Speaker 1: It said four hundred and fifty dollars on it. So
- 2:43Speaker 1: I bought it and thinking I have it, but there's
- 2:47Speaker 1: no way this will only go for four fifty on eBay.
- 2:49Speaker 1: I'm gonna flip this one, and I'm not somebody's trying
- 2:52Speaker 1: to flip cards. I sell some on eBay, but my
- 2:56Speaker 1: goal is not to have to buy a look to
- 2:59Speaker 1: flip to make a profit. But this card, I know
- 3:03Speaker 1: is gonna make money. So it's like a Miant nine
- 3:08Speaker 1: twenty twenty three bowmen. Caitlyn Clark auto. There's really no
- 3:11Speaker 1: autos that she has. It goes under like six fifty
- 3:14Speaker 1: seven hundred bucks. So I was like, dang, card shop
- 3:17Speaker 1: messed up. So I got it. I give it to
- 3:20Speaker 1: read and I say, hey, Kaitlyn Clark. This same day,
- 3:22Speaker 1: she just had the first ever rookie triple double in
- 3:25Speaker 1: the WNBA. She should win Rookie of the Year, which,
- 3:28Speaker 1: by the way, I've been talking about kayl Clark way before.
- 3:30Speaker 1: It was cool talking about Kylen Clark. That's all. I
- 3:31Speaker 1: admit that that's true. Okay, So I said, read, take
- 3:36Speaker 1: this and post it. Because Reid runs the eBay and
- 3:38Speaker 1: we have a deal where I don't eat and't just
- 3:41Speaker 1: do it for free. I get your cards. I cut
- 3:43Speaker 1: him in on it. So I'm driving in back from
- 3:49Speaker 1: where were we you went to eat dinner? Right? Did
- 3:54Speaker 1: I give you the cards here at the house after pickleball? Yeah?
- 3:57Speaker 1: Got it. So we're playing pickleball over here. Read the cards,
- 4:01Speaker 1: have a day man set them up, get them up immediately.
- 4:05Speaker 1: I go to the eBay page and Reid puts the
- 4:07Speaker 1: card up, but he leaves a four hundred and fifty
- 4:10Speaker 1: dollars tag on it. I was in the best parking
- 4:14Speaker 1: lot and I was trying to get up as fast
- 4:16Speaker 1: as possible, and that completely slipped my mind. I had
- 4:19Speaker 1: never seen that. No, Yeah, front and center. It wasn't
- 4:22Speaker 1: like something you look, is that a tag? No? No?
- 4:24Speaker 1: I screenshot it because I disbelief. And it wasn't like
- 4:28Speaker 1: Reid could miss it. Look here's the card. Yeah there,
- 4:32Speaker 1: and the price tags has four hundred and fifty dollars.
- 4:35Speaker 1: I seen that before. Yes, so they know how much
- 4:38Speaker 1: I paid for the card. Now. Luckily nobody had been
- 4:41Speaker 1: on it yet because any views, any views on it.
- 4:44Speaker 1: There were some views, but no bids, probably because I
- 4:47Speaker 1: was asking for four to fifty. I like to start
- 4:51Speaker 1: the auction, and so I'm like, Read. I sent him
- 4:54Speaker 1: a voicemail for driving pull that down, get a new
- 4:57Speaker 1: picture up.
- 4:58Speaker 2: I was in Kroger and I ran outside fix it.
- 5:00Speaker 1: And he sent me a message back football football. So
- 5:05Speaker 1: we did that yesterday. There there's four days and two
- 5:08Speaker 1: hours left. It a five day auction, and there's a
- 5:11Speaker 1: bid now for four to fifty. We took it down,
- 5:14Speaker 1: so I know it's at least gonna break even with
- 5:17Speaker 1: four days left. I bet this thing gets to six
- 5:19Speaker 1: fifty seven hundred bucks. Get it hot. Yeah. But my
- 5:22Speaker 1: favorite is read posting it with the price tag for
- 5:25Speaker 1: what I paid for it.
- 5:26Speaker 3: I never seen that. And my kids, my kids do
- 5:28Speaker 3: this every day. They got their card business. I don't
- 5:31Speaker 3: think anyone has even thought about doing that.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Read, Well, it was on it at the card shop.
- 5:36Speaker 1: He just didn't take it off. Kids don't have a pricer.
- 5:38Speaker 3: No, they do have some cards that you're right though.
- 5:40Speaker 3: They've they've gone to the card shop and bought cards
- 5:42Speaker 3: where I was like, fifteen bucks and you look up
- 5:44Speaker 3: online it's like two dollars.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Dang, the card shop's there to get you. It's a
- 5:49Speaker 1: it's a place, and every kid's like, Kobe, I'll buy it.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Only we've been playing a lot of pickleball here over
- 5:55Speaker 1: the break saw.
- 5:56Speaker 3: That's how you turn the lights on.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Yeah we did. We haven't played under the line. It's
- 6:00Speaker 1: officially like dark time pickleball, but we did turn them
- 6:02Speaker 1: on for the first time. My wife got sick. We
- 6:05Speaker 1: were not able to leave and go on vacation, so
- 6:07Speaker 1: we just stayed home the whole time. We got to
- 6:08Speaker 1: the airport, checked our bags. We're at the gate, I know,
- 6:12Speaker 1: and we were going to Europe and she got sick,
- 6:14Speaker 1: and so we're like what do we do? So I
- 6:18Speaker 1: was like, you don't need to fly for ten hours
- 6:21Speaker 1: end up in a freaking European hospital where nobody speaks English,
- 6:26Speaker 1: and so we just stayed home. We got most of
- 6:28Speaker 1: our flight money back, other than a thousand bucks. We
- 6:30Speaker 1: still haven't been giving our money back from hotels or anything. Really, Yeah,
- 6:35Speaker 1: it's a lot. We're hoping what on I know, we're
- 6:39Speaker 1: really crossing our fingers, but I would rather have that
- 6:42Speaker 1: happen than her get sick over there and one be
- 6:45Speaker 1: miserable and then we're out all the money, including flights
- 6:48Speaker 1: and everything, and then didn't get to enjoy it, and
- 6:50Speaker 1: then she stuck in a hospital. So she's slowly been
- 6:53Speaker 1: balancing back, like day by day, and she's pretty about
- 6:56Speaker 1: ninety percent now. But we've been playing a lot of
- 6:58Speaker 1: pickaball her and I've been playing playing. Read's roommate came
- 7:01Speaker 1: over Dawson. Yeah, Dawson who played, And so I got
- 7:06Speaker 1: Cols on my feet ankles hurt, but Caitlyn and I
- 7:08Speaker 1: dominated reading. Dawson dominantly. Yeah, Canls's good calls an athlete
- 7:13Speaker 1: is read good?
- 7:13Speaker 3: I haven't seen him play. I guess I've seen clips online,
- 7:15Speaker 3: but I really haven't seen him play.
- 7:17Speaker 1: In like twenty minutes, I got fifty percent better, So
- 7:20Speaker 1: what does that mean? He's not good? He's not good
- 7:23Speaker 1: at all. Here's the thing about Reid. Certain things he's
- 7:26Speaker 1: quite the athlete, Like certain athletic things that need hand
- 7:30Speaker 1: eye coordination skills he can do. He can throw a knuckleball,
- 7:34Speaker 1: yeah he can. He can throw a baseball really well.
- 7:36Speaker 3: He's got a good jump shot.
- 7:37Speaker 1: He can shoot a basketball golf swing, decent golf swing,
- 7:41Speaker 1: that's right. But when it comes like running, he's like
- 7:44Speaker 1: a giraffe or swear or yeah, he's like a big
- 7:48Speaker 1: giraffe with like goofy legs, he says, my roommate, he
- 7:51Speaker 1: texted me, my roommate, he's got a that's how we
- 7:54Speaker 1: texted you. He's got a paddle, and he's actually pretty good.
- 7:58Speaker 1: If you want him to come play a great more
- 8:00Speaker 1: people do better. And so, like an hour before we
- 8:03Speaker 1: had scheduled to play, he texted me again, Hey, I
- 8:06Speaker 1: was wrong. He's never played and he doesn't have a
- 8:10Speaker 1: paddle all of it. And his name is not Dawson
- 8:17Speaker 1: the state. And so I was like, come over anyway,
- 8:21Speaker 1: Dawson is pretty good, Okay, nice, I think he. I
- 8:24Speaker 1: think we beat him yesterday in the one game they played,
- 8:26Speaker 1: but I I think he got it quicker than re did.
- 8:30Speaker 1: We just played a little more. He also played tennis, though, okay,
- 8:33Speaker 1: well you played baseball.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Yeah, but tennis and pickleba are a little more similar. Yeah,
- 8:38Speaker 3: Like if you play tennis player, you're probably gonna be
- 8:40Speaker 3: a decent pickleball player.
- 8:42Speaker 1: My thing was judgment, like judging life or everything but
- 8:47Speaker 1: like judging, you know, whether to be back or before.
- 8:51Speaker 2: But I figured it out.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Yeah, no, he didn't figure it out. He got we
- 8:54Speaker 1: finished the game. He's again, Caitlin and I pounded him
- 8:57Speaker 1: in his roommate and then we played them again, pounded
- 9:00Speaker 1: him again, and then Read's like, I'm a lot better.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Will you give me one more game? Now? I love Read.
- 9:08Speaker 1: I would consider giving my kidney. Oh, even though he's leaving.
- 9:12Speaker 1: I know that's a problem. That's why I considered ok good.
- 9:15Speaker 1: And we've been playing for like two hours. I was like, yeah,
- 9:17Speaker 1: i'll play. He goes because I'm a lot better. I'm
- 9:19Speaker 1: fifty percent better. And that beat him like five to one.
- 9:22Speaker 1: It was over like ten seconds, over in like ten seconds.
- 9:26Speaker 1: So it's fun. So just a lot of pickleball for you.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Some pickleball, man, it's hot.
- 9:31Speaker 4: Just clued pretty good.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Yeah, you're playing him right, man. He looks like he's moving,
- 9:35Speaker 1: so he is. He's the next best one. Okay. I
- 9:40Speaker 1: think we probably played like thirteen matches. I think he
- 9:43Speaker 1: beat me one match and then I put it on
- 9:45Speaker 1: pretty good and then I was like, okay, you get
- 9:47Speaker 1: me play now. But he's good. He's a good athlete,
- 9:50Speaker 1: So he picked it up pretty quick. Pickleball is crazy
- 9:52Speaker 1: because the floor is actually pretty high. Like, you can
- 9:56Speaker 1: be an okay athlete and get pretty okay at pickleball
- 9:59Speaker 1: pretty quick. Meaning where golf, he can be a good athlete.
- 10:03Speaker 1: You can go play golf twenty two times and be
- 10:05Speaker 1: like man, I still. Yeah, if you're a pretty decent athlete,
- 10:09Speaker 1: or you have decent hand eye coordination, you can be
- 10:12Speaker 1: pretty good at pickleball pretty quick. It's good to really
- 10:15Speaker 1: good is where the ceiling's high. The floor is high.
- 10:18Speaker 1: The ceilings are really high. So the guys, if I
- 10:21Speaker 1: if I've played against somebody, that's good. It's like night
- 10:25Speaker 1: and day. But we have been playing a lot of pickleball.
- 10:30Speaker 1: I thought Eddie came from vacation and brought me a bag,
- 10:32Speaker 1: like gift bag. He showed up with his bag to
- 10:34Speaker 1: my house. I was like, well, that's nice. He had
- 10:35Speaker 1: like a ace of spade on that. I don't know
- 10:37Speaker 1: what he brought me. No, he brought cards that I
- 10:39Speaker 1: give his kids that he sells on eBay from the
- 10:42Speaker 1: cards I give him, and he brought over and he
- 10:45Speaker 1: also prints the labels out here too to sell them. Yeah,
- 10:48Speaker 1: I mean that.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Part of the business. You're the investor. You've got some
- 10:51Speaker 3: of the equipment. That's what we're gonna use.
- 10:54Speaker 1: I have. I'm not the investor, are you talking about?
- 10:56Speaker 1: You get ten percent, but I give them the cards.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Yeah, yea yeah, yeah, it's been you know, part of
- 11:00Speaker 3: your business.
- 11:01Speaker 1: You have money, Uh there's money paid.
- 11:03Speaker 3: Me yet that well, we haven't cashed out.
- 11:04Speaker 1: All the money's in the eBay bank. It goes into
- 11:08Speaker 1: your checking account.
- 11:09Speaker 3: Yeah, but I haven't done that with them yet.
- 11:10Speaker 5: Do You haven't like storage somewhere like set apart, like
- 11:14Speaker 5: you know what, it's gone.
- 11:15Speaker 3: It's gone into my account because like you said, it
- 11:17Speaker 3: automatically goes into my account. But I mean I haven't
- 11:20Speaker 3: tallied it all up for them.
- 11:21Speaker 1: I don't money other banking stuff over but eBay tells
- 11:25Speaker 1: you list everything. No, it gives you a solid number
- 11:28Speaker 1: one number.
- 11:28Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, it gives you that's that's all numbers.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Good. It gives you a full number for ninety days.
- 11:34Speaker 1: After ninety days, it starts to goes. So if it's
- 11:37Speaker 1: one hundred days, that day number one is like the
- 11:40Speaker 1: one hundred days. The first ten days don't count anymore.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Is that ninety Oh? No, it's still the original number.
- 11:44Speaker 1: It is because you haven't done it over ninety days yet.
- 11:47Speaker 1: What is your number? Three hundred so to ninety eight?
- 11:50Speaker 1: So you owe me twenty nine bucks? Well, well I
- 11:53Speaker 1: don't owe you anything. The boys owe you. Yeah, but
- 11:55Speaker 1: they're trying to do bull crap where it's like, yeah,
- 11:58Speaker 1: but we need to eBay fees. No no, no, yeah, man,
- 12:00Speaker 1: those I get gross. I get paid gross. How they
- 12:05Speaker 1: do it in shark tank. I get paid gross. It's
- 12:07Speaker 1: not a profit share. I give them all the material
- 12:10Speaker 1: they have to do nothing to put except the labor in.
- 12:11Speaker 4: Yeah, that's pretty good deal.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Yeah, it's it's the greatest deal out.
- 12:14Speaker 4: Literally, it's like handed to you on it.
- 12:16Speaker 3: Well, they're ten years old, guys, what do you want
- 12:17Speaker 3: any what do you want to do? They know that
- 12:21Speaker 3: they are they've learned gross, they've earned, they've learned that
- 12:24Speaker 3: they know all about this stuff.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Do you know their most expensive card.
- 12:27Speaker 3: They've probably I think they sold man that Dak Prescott one.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Which had a bad grade. But it was like a
- 12:32Speaker 1: honeycomb yellow as a honeycomb gold and black. You gotta
- 12:36Speaker 1: one up me and say gold beaut it. You just
- 12:38Speaker 1: have to show well, that's what it says. Now, I know,
- 12:40Speaker 1: but you just have to can let that go.
- 12:42Speaker 3: That's what it said on the grade. So I think
- 12:43Speaker 3: that was probab that probably went for like twenty two bucks. Really, yeah,
- 12:47Speaker 3: two bucks was pretty good, dude. So it's for a
- 12:49Speaker 3: car that didn't.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Buy two dollars and twenty cents ten percent from me.
- 12:53Speaker 1: I did just to finish the Caitlin Clark talk because
- 12:56Speaker 1: I made a bunch of notes. I did make a
- 12:57Speaker 1: couple of bets on her. When she hit the triple double,
- 13:01Speaker 1: I put her at over two and a half three pointers.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Made bet one hundred bucks on that a one, and
- 13:08Speaker 1: then I bet Caitlin Clark over fifteen and a half.
- 13:10Speaker 1: I bet five hundred on that hit for nine thirty four.
- 13:13Speaker 1: So that's pretty good. And the Fever won. They beat
- 13:17Speaker 1: the Liberty, who are really good.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Is that a game or like an important game that's
- 13:21Speaker 3: just a regular.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Import to them? Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's important to them.
- 13:24Speaker 3: But yeah, so they're not like near playoffs.
- 13:27Speaker 1: They're about to take a break for the Olympics and
- 13:30Speaker 1: then yeah, but like they should be a little even
- 13:32Speaker 1: with the NBA, they're not because the aren't near as many
- 13:34Speaker 1: teams and they can't really jump.
- 13:37Speaker 3: So where are they? So they're mid season? They can't jump.
- 13:40Speaker 3: Also breaks like they can't their verts not not much.
- 13:44Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you what separates the WNB. Only a shooting.
- 13:50Speaker 1: I like to watch shit with shooters. But people are like, yeah,
- 13:53Speaker 1: it's such a It's like watching JV boys versus the
- 13:57Speaker 1: high school boys. Sure, only she want to come to
- 14:00Speaker 1: like speed of the game, the jumping that the shooting
- 14:07Speaker 1: is what is a bit different. But man, when they miss,
- 14:10Speaker 1: name is bad. I like to watch. That's why Caitlyn
- 14:13Speaker 1: Clark has been so different because she does something. She
- 14:16Speaker 1: does an air ball. I saw an air ball one
- 14:19Speaker 1: she crossed the girl over, the girl fell down, the
- 14:22Speaker 1: broker ankles bad. That's good. Then air ball and they
- 14:25Speaker 1: both laughed because they both got a mar It's so funny.
- 14:28Speaker 3: But that's funny they laugh though they'll never laugh in
- 14:30Speaker 3: the NBA.
- 14:31Speaker 1: The thing about they both think they both look stupid. Uh.
- 14:36Speaker 1: The shooting is the only thing that can separate and
- 14:38Speaker 1: differentiate because they're not gonna run faster, They're not gonna
- 14:40Speaker 1: dunk more about the layups they miss, they do reverse laps.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Are they there? You know, there's a lot of misses,
- 14:46Speaker 1: even layups like angel Reads misses most and she's solid,
- 14:50Speaker 1: but she misses a lot of shots. But the shooting,
- 14:53Speaker 1: that's why she's transcendent. It's not because she's white. It's
- 14:57Speaker 1: not because she went to Iowa. It's because she shoots
- 14:59Speaker 1: for free and half court. It doesn't matter who does that.
- 15:02Speaker 1: That's that's why it's so. But yeah, it gets tough
- 15:05Speaker 1: to watch. I can't really watch any other games of
- 15:07Speaker 1: can't clock's not playing. It's hard, it's hard, it's slow. Yeah,
- 15:10Speaker 1: it's hard.
- 15:11Speaker 3: You try to watch com I tried.
- 15:13Speaker 4: I watched the last like two minutes.
- 15:14Speaker 1: That coach for the Fever. I'm gonna speak out of
- 15:16Speaker 1: out of my look this up because I don't know
- 15:18Speaker 1: what I'm talking about. I don't think the feverhead basketball
- 15:20Speaker 1: coach has had any other head coaching job ever. Wow,
- 15:23Speaker 1: she kind of is not that good of a coach.
- 15:26Speaker 1: I think it's her first head coaching job. She's JJ Reddick,
- 15:29Speaker 1: except without the I don't know many years. Awesome player, yes,
- 15:34Speaker 1: being a great player, I'm not sure she's playing the WNBA,
- 15:38Speaker 1: but being an analyst, being someone that people respect as
- 15:42Speaker 1: a great commentator on the game, podcaster, et cetera. The
- 15:44Speaker 1: JJ Reddick stuff's crazy to me because everyone's like, who's
- 15:47Speaker 1: just a podcast? Okay, look, yeah, was he killing it
- 15:51Speaker 1: on a multimedia platform show? Yeah? But you know why
- 15:54Speaker 1: I was killing it because he was so good and
- 15:57Speaker 1: that he was able to take really technically difficult things
- 16:01Speaker 1: for us to understand, but breaking it down so we
- 16:03Speaker 1: could actually understand it. And he's done it at the
- 16:05Speaker 1: highest level, so he's not It's not like Eddie's doing
- 16:08Speaker 1: a podcast to gets to coach Lakers.
- 16:09Speaker 3: Yeah, and uh, Jason Kidd too, Like he was there too.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Jason Kidd was one of the best point guards ever
- 16:15Speaker 1: in the history of the world.
- 16:16Speaker 3: They never coached before Steve nash When did he coach
- 16:20Speaker 3: Brooklyn for a minute?
- 16:21Speaker 1: He did, But I will say Reddick wasn't the player
- 16:27Speaker 1: that nash Er Kid was. However, JJ Reddick is so
- 16:33Speaker 1: good at knowing basketball that he can take it, break
- 16:36Speaker 1: it down, and make us feel like we're smart because
- 16:38Speaker 1: we understand the elementary things he's sharing with us. So
- 16:40Speaker 1: whenever they're like, man, he's just a podcaster to a coach,
- 16:43Speaker 1: that's some bull crap. I mean, it's true. But that's
- 16:46Speaker 1: some bull crap. It's a fact. But he only got
- 16:48Speaker 1: to be a big podcaster because he was a great player.
- 16:51Speaker 1: He was a very cerebral player. He actually changed his
- 16:55Speaker 1: image probably better than like a Rod did some good work,
- 17:00Speaker 1: but also a Rod still do she Reddick was hated
- 17:03Speaker 1: in college.
- 17:04Speaker 5: And even in early NBA days. He wasn't very good.
- 17:07Speaker 5: Like you didn't think he was gonna be lasting fifteen
- 17:09Speaker 5: years whatever he played.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Correct, he lasted a long time. You're right. I bought
- 17:12Speaker 1: two Reddick autographs today auto cards in the shop eBay,
- 17:17Speaker 1: one for like twelve bucks and one for like sixty
- 17:21Speaker 1: Does card value go with stocks? Really?
- 17:24Speaker 3: So like, since he's in the news now, that card's
- 17:26Speaker 3: going to go up.
- 17:26Speaker 1: He's a good coach. If he ends up being a
- 17:28Speaker 1: good coach, it'll go up tremendous.
- 17:30Speaker 4: Are his Duke cards higher than the NBA?
- 17:33Speaker 1: I don't know, Mike, give me some info on the
- 17:35Speaker 1: fever coach.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Yeah, she was hired in twenty twenty two, her first
- 17:38Speaker 2: head coaching job. She was an assistant head coach before,
- 17:41Speaker 2: so she.
- 17:41Speaker 3: Was assistant coach, was coaching, but she was never had
- 17:43Speaker 3: a head coach and a head coaching job.
- 17:45Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. J J. Reddick was like fourth grade volunteer.
- 17:49Speaker 4: Yeah, I think I won the championship.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Yeah, we can do it.
- 17:52Speaker 3: We weren't close to the championship ring and we don't
- 17:54Speaker 3: know Lebron think we won one game.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't feel Let me tell you something I've
- 18:00Speaker 1: been putting stuff to. I've been putting chopsticks. I've been
- 18:03Speaker 1: putting stuff together this whole trip. Like I put together
- 18:05Speaker 1: a white rack over there, dude, and then I put
- 18:07Speaker 1: together a pickleball. It's like a carry a holder that
- 18:12Speaker 1: has legs fall down. You can leave it on the
- 18:14Speaker 1: court and it's called the pickleball. Caddy? Was that balls
- 18:16Speaker 1: in there? And got balls in there? The thing that
- 18:19Speaker 1: I've I'm actually pretty good at it. Like I'm not
- 18:21Speaker 1: mister hands on this part of my life. I just
- 18:24Speaker 1: hire somebody to do it. For the most part, what
- 18:26Speaker 1: I found out pretty good at is building something and
- 18:27Speaker 1: there's still being parts left over in it. Dude. That's everyone.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Do you see that screw And you're like huh?
- 18:34Speaker 3: And I tell my wife all the time, like no,
- 18:36Speaker 3: they throw those in there.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Just as I've been convincing myself with that this pickleball
- 18:40Speaker 1: caddy that I bought. This is the directions. It's one page.
- 18:44Speaker 1: It gives you nothing really, but there's only like nine parts.
- 18:48Speaker 1: And I have somehow two sticks, some wheels, oh boy,
- 18:52Speaker 1: those wheels looking forwardant a couple thingies. Yeah, those things
- 18:57Speaker 1: for sure need to go somewhere, and I feel like
- 18:59Speaker 1: these four screws probably should go somewhere.
- 19:03Speaker 3: You're gonna be pushing the caddy around and balls are
- 19:05Speaker 3: falling out, like, well, there you go, that's where that goes.
- 19:08Speaker 1: But standing up pretty good right now. And so I
- 19:10Speaker 1: did this one. I don't know, just throw the stuff away.
- 19:13Speaker 1: It's just extra right.
- 19:14Speaker 3: I never throw it away. I leave it in my toolbox,
- 19:16Speaker 3: but that just ends up being it's still there. From like, yes,
- 19:22Speaker 3: I built a barbell, like a dumbbell barbell, dumbbell, dumb
- 19:30Speaker 3: bell rack for like curls for any of the weight
- 19:33Speaker 3: the free weights, okay, and so oh yeah, because they
- 19:37Speaker 3: have a rack in there.
- 19:37Speaker 1: There's a rack. We've moved into this place and we
- 19:39Speaker 1: just sort of laying on the ground and we were
- 19:40Speaker 1: gonna like build it out and design it. And the
- 19:42Speaker 1: gyp's pretty nice.
- 19:43Speaker 3: Like a rack for weights seems really important.
- 19:45Speaker 1: I got I got like four extra parts over it there.
- 19:48Speaker 1: What I mean, Yeah, you don't want that thing falling
- 19:50Speaker 1: right now, and that's why there are no weights on
- 19:52Speaker 1: it right now. But there are like four extra parts.
- 19:55Speaker 1: And my wife and I were working out over there
- 19:56Speaker 1: because I have a rower now and I'm rowing, and
- 19:59Speaker 1: she's like stretching on the path. She's like, why are
- 20:01Speaker 1: all these pieces of metal here? I was like, those
- 20:03Speaker 1: are the extras from the that weight. She was, I
- 20:06Speaker 1: don't think they're supposed to be extras. I'm like, yeah,
- 20:08Speaker 1: of course, if one breaks, you have extra you don't know.
- 20:10Speaker 1: She was like, why aren't there any weights on there?
- 20:11Speaker 1: I was like, because I.
- 20:12Speaker 3: Don't know where the extras go, That's exactly why.
- 20:16Speaker 1: So during the break, Oh boy, that's what I've been doing,
- 20:19Speaker 1: putting a lot of stuff together. But I have enough
- 20:21Speaker 1: pieces from the things I've put together that I didn't
- 20:23Speaker 1: use to build something new and fresh. I'm not quite
- 20:25Speaker 1: sure legs. Yeah, no, no, I can build something new
- 20:28Speaker 1: and fresh. I'm not sure what's.
- 20:29Speaker 4: Gonna be, like a combination of it all.
- 20:31Speaker 3: Yeah, but that's what I have here, but I just
- 20:34Speaker 3: throw it away. Good for you, man, that's awesome that
- 20:36Speaker 3: you're doing that. You're starting to try new things at
- 20:39Speaker 3: your young age. Hey, you also are making burgers.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Oh yeah, A girled a lot. Yeah, hey, raid we
- 20:46Speaker 1: clipped that part about that already know. Thank you girled
- 20:49Speaker 1: a lot. I'd like to, you know, think my Lord
- 20:53Speaker 1: and Savior of grilling Eddie taught you a few things,
- 20:57Speaker 1: giving me, Yeah, giving me the tips usually I have
- 20:59Speaker 1: tie you had just turned. Yeah. Mostly it's like how
- 21:02Speaker 1: to light the pilot. It's out like that.
- 21:06Speaker 4: But I'll burn your hairs on your on your face,
- 21:08Speaker 4: your hands.
- 21:09Speaker 5: Yeah, did you do that? No, but it's definitely possible.
- 21:13Speaker 5: It sounds like I've done it.
- 21:13Speaker 1: One. It sounds like you've done that, because I've never
- 21:15Speaker 1: heard of that.
- 21:16Speaker 4: You've never heard like your eyebrows getting No, just how
- 21:18Speaker 4: did that happen? Because you're like turning on and you're
- 21:21Speaker 4: looking in and he turned.
- 21:23Speaker 5: It, yeah, and it just turns on and all of
- 21:27Speaker 5: a sudden You're like, I don't know.
- 21:29Speaker 4: If I like the smell of that, then you can
- 21:31Speaker 4: look in the mirror.
- 21:31Speaker 1: You're like, I've never done that.
- 21:33Speaker 4: A couple of eyelashes, eyebrows that smell back.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Burnt hair does smell back like I burned the hair
- 21:37Speaker 1: on my head before. What were you doing? Why are
- 21:41Speaker 1: you guys burning your hair? I don't know, it's not
- 21:43Speaker 1: a long time. I don't remember why, but yeah, grilled.
- 21:47Speaker 1: And so we bought some Wago states off the internet
- 21:53Speaker 1: and sounds shady, No, shady's the trucks. The trucks will
- 21:58Speaker 1: come by. We shed to buy my all time aout
- 21:59Speaker 1: the trucks cheap, yeah, and then they fall apart. Not
- 22:02Speaker 1: the Swan trucks. Remember those ridge people use those? Remember Swan?
- 22:05Speaker 1: Do you guys ever have Swan? Yeah? Swan, Yeah, that's it.
- 22:08Speaker 3: It was like a big yellow truck and it had
- 22:10Speaker 3: ice cream, frozen steak. Rich people it never.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Mind out have it now if it came by. Yeah,
- 22:16Speaker 1: Like I freaking hate rich people. But we ordered something.
- 22:21Speaker 1: She's like, this is a good So they came in.
- 22:22Speaker 1: They were awesome, cooked them. The good thing about these
- 22:25Speaker 1: Wagoo proof it's Wagoo right, And I don't even know
- 22:28Speaker 1: Wago was massage meat. Yeah, the cows get massages. But
- 22:32Speaker 1: I need to see like a letter of authenticity for
- 22:34Speaker 1: the wagon video, yeah, or a video of authenticity on
- 22:38Speaker 1: a time lapse, because anybody can massage a cow for
- 22:41Speaker 1: like ten seconds. So that's why I don't believe the Wagoo.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Don't they like play them classical music or something, read
- 22:48Speaker 2: them poetry.
- 22:48Speaker 1: I think there's some situations where they do play music.
- 22:51Speaker 1: They do rich people before they kill them, Like what
- 22:55Speaker 1: do you mean? Yeah, it's a happy life until oh
- 22:58Speaker 1: my gosh. But we had Wagoo steaks and it's only
- 23:00Speaker 1: three minutes on each side, so rare. Nope, I don't
- 23:04Speaker 1: like rare. You don't like blood. I'll cook the f
- 23:06Speaker 1: out of any meat and drown it. That's true.
- 23:09Speaker 3: I have been to dinner with you where you say,
- 23:10Speaker 3: like I want it well done.
- 23:11Speaker 1: They're like, are you a a one? They're like no, no,
- 23:14Speaker 1: but we're known for a one. Now you heard me?
- 23:17Speaker 1: You heard me. Sometimes they will be embarrassed to bring
- 23:22Speaker 1: me a one, or I will be embarrassed to ask.
- 23:24Speaker 1: Depending on the place I will still ask. I'll ask
- 23:26Speaker 1: it on my breath. Or if they are like, we
- 23:28Speaker 1: can't bring a bottle out, they will go and put
- 23:30Speaker 1: in it like a fancy jar, pour.
- 23:32Speaker 3: It in and bring me a little like not the
- 23:34Speaker 3: brown bottle.
- 23:35Speaker 1: No't, they won't do that, but girled like three or
- 23:39Speaker 1: four times?
- 23:40Speaker 5: Do you use the thermometer, eddie us you who use the thermometer,
- 23:44Speaker 5: people that burn the freaking I loser.
- 23:49Speaker 1: You know anything, you know when it's done. You know
- 23:51Speaker 1: when it's done. Okay.
- 23:53Speaker 3: My dad taught me with beers, like you'll be ready
- 23:55Speaker 3: in three beers. Watch this, you drink three beers, it's ready.
- 24:00Speaker 1: I don't know much about soccer, but I did watch
- 24:03Speaker 1: the United States get beat twice. They suck, We suck.
- 24:07Speaker 1: They're terrible. They're terrible. How do we suck so bad?
- 24:10Speaker 1: We got beat by Uruguay? They say it with an accent,
- 24:15Speaker 1: even like the American It's always weird when somebody that's
- 24:18Speaker 1: super American and white and Midwest throws in the extra accent.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Although I'm sure that's how you say, that's how you
- 24:24Speaker 1: pronounce I know. But when like Rod Johnson, the commentator,
- 24:27Speaker 1: from my eye, I was like, but everything else is
- 24:30Speaker 1: not accented. You respect the country, I hear you. It
- 24:33Speaker 1: just feels funny when he's like, what a great game
- 24:36Speaker 1: today between the United States of America and something in
- 24:41Speaker 1: your throat. I get it. Respect. How do you guys
- 24:44Speaker 1: say Chile? Well? Normal, uneducated like how you say it? Yeah,
- 24:51Speaker 1: I'm telling you.
- 24:53Speaker 3: You're a normal, uneducated white person.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Yes, I like culture and countries. You say Chile. That's
- 24:59Speaker 1: what my wife said. What is she though? Normal? The
- 25:01Speaker 1: normal white person uneducated as well, like traveling the world culturally.
- 25:05Speaker 1: If you're going to a bunch of countries, I'm sure
- 25:07Speaker 1: you're saying a bunch of countries, right. I've never been
- 25:09Speaker 1: to Chili, So why would I say.
- 25:11Speaker 4: Yeah, Chili, Chili? No Chile? Yeah, I don't know, yeah, Chile.
- 25:16Speaker 1: I will say whatever the commentator says, as long as
- 25:18Speaker 1: there's not too much of an accent, I don't sound.
- 25:20Speaker 4: Foolish or a nice tongue.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Rule. The one that gets me is Aina, No, what
- 25:26Speaker 1: is Akentina? Aina? They do MESSI does? I think you're
- 25:32Speaker 1: But you're right. That's Argentina. They had the soccer the
- 25:35Speaker 1: World Cup the last time in a country in Brazil, Brazil.
- 25:41Speaker 1: We all know that one.
- 25:43Speaker 3: Where was Oh that was in Saudi Saudi Arabia.
- 25:46Speaker 1: No, but it's in the Middle East, but not Saudi Arabia. Mm. Yeah,
- 25:51Speaker 1: you're right, because it was weird. Man. Well, there were
- 25:54Speaker 1: two ways to say it.
- 25:55Speaker 4: In guitar.
- 25:56Speaker 1: That's it cut f so but people fought by the
- 26:01Speaker 1: cutter a guitar and they're like, we live here, it's
- 26:03Speaker 1: cutter whatever they say. Someone's like, no, we live next
- 26:08Speaker 1: door to it and we're about to take it over
- 26:10Speaker 1: and we call it guitar. Oh, I know. It's just
- 26:12Speaker 1: like My point is, if every word you say is
- 26:17Speaker 1: not accident, it just feels funny accent it, it'd be like, hey,
- 26:22Speaker 1: uh tonight, dude, we're gonna have beers. Stanley the bulldog
- 26:27Speaker 1: is up there, he's gonna play around with us, kick
- 26:29Speaker 1: your shoes off, and now let's have somes sounds about right.
- 26:34Speaker 1: You know. It's just.
- 26:36Speaker 4: But we suck, yeah, really bad.
- 26:39Speaker 1: We shouldn't suck. And I get there like, oh but
- 26:41Speaker 1: our best athletes, okay, our eighth string should be able
- 26:44Speaker 1: to be Uruguay. But you guys don't understand, like their
- 26:47Speaker 1: country is like Rhode Island and.
- 26:48Speaker 3: In there, but in their country, they are people in
- 26:51Speaker 3: that country I understand who like Turkey, Like they play soccer, yeah,
- 26:55Speaker 3: and they're damn good at soccer.
- 26:57Speaker 1: My point, my point is there should be as many
- 26:59Speaker 1: people in this country where we think it's like the
- 27:01Speaker 1: seventh place sport that's brought up with that being their
- 27:05Speaker 1: number one sport as many as are in Uruguay.
- 27:08Speaker 3: Who do you know grew up playing soccer from when
- 27:10Speaker 3: they were.
- 27:10Speaker 1: I grew up in Arkansas, nobody, but in California.
- 27:13Speaker 3: That's why when they were born it's like lacrosse. But
- 27:16Speaker 3: are in these countries, Dude, that's not all they do.
- 27:18Speaker 1: You don't have talking to me like I'm an educated
- 27:20Speaker 1: white person. Okay, I know, I know what happens in
- 27:22Speaker 1: other countries. They pay twelve year olds millions of dollars
- 27:25Speaker 1: to go And I've watched many documentaries on this over
- 27:28Speaker 1: the past two years where they pay kids on hundred
- 27:31Speaker 1: thousands and millions of dollars because they isolate them and go,
- 27:33Speaker 1: you're a star. We're gonna put you in the system.
- 27:36Speaker 1: But and that's fine these big countries, that's fine. There's
- 27:40Speaker 1: no reason we should lose to Uruguay. Are twenty. We
- 27:44Speaker 1: should have guys that play basketball in the Olympic team
- 27:47Speaker 1: check out for the day. Well, they lay Uruguay and
- 27:50Speaker 1: soccer and beat them obj out there, No, not even
- 27:52Speaker 1: with any training.
- 27:53Speaker 3: There's also a deal too though, like if your mom
- 27:56Speaker 3: is half Uruguayan, but.
- 27:58Speaker 1: They're not doing that, it's all you can play for
- 28:00Speaker 1: them it's your gain. You're you're saying, you're finding little
- 28:03Speaker 1: stipulations that aren't even an effect.
- 28:04Speaker 3: Because I've always wondered too why we suck so bad
- 28:07Speaker 3: at soccer.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Because we are un educated and white bottom line, and
- 28:14Speaker 1: a lot of our guys will play international.
- 28:16Speaker 3: I know they're good enough to play for those teams,
- 28:17Speaker 3: and they come and they play with a bunch of
- 28:19Speaker 3: Americans and we suck.
- 28:21Speaker 1: Mike, would you look up the scandal of the old
- 28:24Speaker 1: Colombian No, they killed him. Yeah, that's bad one. The
- 28:28Speaker 1: current United States soccer coach was getting blackmailed. He now
- 28:31Speaker 1: has got the job. I'm not sure if it was
- 28:33Speaker 1: like a sex thing. He's the bald guy. Yeah. But
- 28:36Speaker 1: my only point is even if it was a one
- 28:40Speaker 1: twentieth of our players get brought up, of our best
- 28:42Speaker 1: athletes one fiftieth, we should still be able to be
- 28:44Speaker 1: a small country like Uruguay that if they start them
- 28:47Speaker 1: out of the womb. We have every we have everything better,
- 28:50Speaker 1: all the resources we have, and we have a lot
- 28:52Speaker 1: of money going into the We should be Uruguay. What
- 28:55Speaker 1: do you have against Europeanama? I think Panama.
- 28:58Speaker 3: That's a tiny country.
- 28:59Speaker 1: That's Van Hale song Panama.
- 29:02Speaker 3: Where do they have a canal? That's all they have?
- 29:04Speaker 1: Yeah, they just kick it over the canal, back and forth,
- 29:08Speaker 1: messing with Uruguay. I understand why we lost. The legitimate
- 29:13Speaker 1: reason is all that everyone knows. They wake up in
- 29:16Speaker 1: the morning, they play soccer from three. It's all they
- 29:18Speaker 1: ever want to be. They do. But there should be
- 29:20Speaker 1: enough of our guys that are the outliers in their sports,
- 29:24Speaker 1: that are like the people that play lacrosse, the people
- 29:26Speaker 1: that play soccer, the people that play that swim divers,
- 29:30Speaker 1: like we go to the Olympics and we wreck, We
- 29:32Speaker 1: wreck shop against other countries and sports that we don't
- 29:36Speaker 1: even really care about in this country because they randomly
- 29:39Speaker 1: are good athletes and they wake up and they're like,
- 29:41Speaker 1: you know what, I want to do darts and they
- 29:43Speaker 1: dedicate themse there should our population is so large, we
- 29:47Speaker 1: should have enough of those dark playing people with soccer
- 29:51Speaker 1: that we're just good at soccer. Yeah, yeah, we're gonna
- 29:53Speaker 1: have the World Cup here in North America, Canada, States, Mexico.
- 29:57Speaker 1: Luckily we get in for free. It's like we got
- 29:59Speaker 1: invited the party because it's at.
- 30:00Speaker 4: Our house, and then we get kicked out earlier.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Yeah, at least we're in. We weren't even in the
- 30:05Speaker 1: last one.
- 30:05Speaker 3: You get drunk too quick, they have kicked you out.
- 30:07Speaker 1: Yeah, you're done. What's the name Lingman or something?
- 30:11Speaker 4: Was it a couple of years ago?
- 30:12Speaker 1: Recent? No, it's a couple of years ago, Greg, that's it.
- 30:16Speaker 1: That's it. What's the name Greg? Buralter? No, I don't
- 30:19Speaker 1: think that's how you say it, but I don't know
- 30:20Speaker 1: if you say b E r h A l t
- 30:22Speaker 1: e r bur Halter ber Halter.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I guess somebody said that they had information
- 30:26Speaker 2: that would take him down. I guess it was involving
- 30:29Speaker 2: physical altercation with his wife.
- 30:31Speaker 1: That sounds right. It wasn't sexual. Hey didn't define it. Hey,
- 30:35Speaker 1: that could be. I don't know. I don't know how
- 30:37Speaker 1: your sex is going, but not like that. So yeah,
- 30:41Speaker 1: I listen, I understand why we suck at soccer. Mm hmm.
- 30:44Speaker 1: You don't have to talk to me like I'm five,
- 30:45Speaker 1: But you know, like, dude, they can't play football like
- 30:48Speaker 1: they don't. They don't even have it there though they
- 30:50Speaker 1: do know they have it on. I've been these countries
- 30:52Speaker 1: they have football teams and they're terrible. They're not professional football,
- 30:55Speaker 1: Like you know, they they don't have it in their schools.
- 30:58Speaker 1: They don't South American, so they don't have it as
- 31:01Speaker 1: the part of their fundamental core scholastic athletics. That's soccer,
- 31:09Speaker 1: cricket depending where like cricket's big is big India? Yeah,
- 31:14Speaker 1: you said where the US team beat it Indian.
- 31:18Speaker 3: At cricket, we can do that and not soccer.
- 31:20Speaker 1: That's it. Cricket is the one where they bounce the ball.
- 31:24Speaker 1: That's like baseball, a three day event. Yeah, so what's
- 31:28Speaker 1: the one that's kind of like that crusche croquet cricket
- 31:32Speaker 1: grasshopper crok right, is that? What are you thinking? No,
- 31:36Speaker 1: it's got to be cricket. But our guys they called
- 31:38Speaker 1: it the greatest upset in the history of sports.
- 31:40Speaker 4: Yeah, that one, And so then I got.
- 31:42Speaker 1: On cricket TikTok for a while, was on the rules. Really,
- 31:44Speaker 1: I think cricket's so much more fun than baseball because.
- 31:46Speaker 3: The one that lasts all like for weeks.
- 31:48Speaker 1: A game last for like the last for a few days,
- 31:50Speaker 1: but so does a three day series in baseball. We
- 31:52Speaker 1: talked about this, so it's but they don't They also
- 31:54Speaker 1: don't play for seventy two hours straight.
- 31:56Speaker 3: Right, right, they take a break, they go home, they
- 31:58Speaker 3: go to bed.
- 32:00Speaker 1: It's like if the Orioles and Yankees are playing, but.
- 32:03Speaker 3: If it started at seven to three, like you know what,
- 32:05Speaker 3: like if it was a game one, They're like, all right,
- 32:07Speaker 3: the score is seven three, everybody go home. We're gonna
- 32:09Speaker 3: be back tomorrow.
- 32:10Speaker 1: We're gonna continue, and it's gonna be seven to three. Yeah,
- 32:12Speaker 1: that's pretty legit correct. They just keep the same score.
- 32:16Speaker 1: I like that. What they do is it's a bad explanation,
- 32:18Speaker 1: but I got and I watched a nine minute video
- 32:20Speaker 1: of an American guy who said he was like me, dumb, white,
- 32:25Speaker 1: uneducated because we hadn't been around the world. And he
- 32:27Speaker 1: was like, I've learned how to play cricket. And he plays,
- 32:29Speaker 1: and he was drawing on a whiteboard. And so they pitch.
- 32:35Speaker 1: There's like a landing strip and a batter and a
- 32:38Speaker 1: pitcher on both sides. So let's say I'm throwing to
- 32:42Speaker 1: you over there, and you're the batter. There's also another
- 32:46Speaker 1: one of my pitchers over there next to you. Or
- 32:48Speaker 1: I walk over there and pitch to the batter that's
- 32:49Speaker 1: over here, so it goes both ways. And then if
- 32:52Speaker 1: you hit it, it can go forward backward. It's in
- 32:55Speaker 1: the round, like a concert in the round. It's why
- 32:58Speaker 1: it lasts so long. I'm so educated at cricket, but
- 33:00Speaker 1: white last so long. It's hard to get out and
- 33:04Speaker 1: for there to be an out. If you miss it
- 33:05Speaker 1: and those three little sticks are up, there's something laying
- 33:07Speaker 1: on top of it, and that's how you get If
- 33:10Speaker 1: you hit the sticks behind the bat or there's three
- 33:13Speaker 1: sticks poking out of.
- 33:13Speaker 4: The ground like bamboo, doesn't it or something sounds racist.
- 33:18Speaker 1: I have no idea, looks like why would be racist?
- 33:25Speaker 1: After I've said so many times I'm an uneducated cultural
- 33:27Speaker 1: white out, I yes, And on top of it lays something.
- 33:33Speaker 1: And then if it hits those sticks and that goes
- 33:35Speaker 1: falls off, that's like an out. Oh, it's an out.
- 33:37Speaker 1: Got it? It's whatever they call it version of an out. Uh.
- 33:41Speaker 1: And then that's why last song. It's hard to get out.
- 33:44Speaker 3: But if you hit it, like I still don't know
- 33:45Speaker 3: what you're talking about, but I'm uneducated Mexican.
- 33:48Speaker 1: If you hit a ball, it's like a home run, right,
- 33:50Speaker 1: and you jump out and you catch it and you
- 33:52Speaker 1: throw it back in like a grenade.
- 33:54Speaker 3: Like when the movie when they catch a grenade throw it.
- 33:56Speaker 1: Back, Yes, and your guy catches it. That's an out.
- 34:00Speaker 1: It's pretty cool to see some of those. Okay, and
- 34:03Speaker 1: there's really not a fence. The home run can go over.
- 34:05Speaker 1: It's like if you're stepping on over. It's just a curb.
- 34:07Speaker 1: It's in the middle. Pretty cool, Pretty cool. We need football, Hey,
- 34:14Speaker 1: next one cricket. I didn't watch all the video. Yeah,
- 34:20Speaker 1: so soccer sucks, and we suck as fans too, Like
- 34:25Speaker 1: give us we don't want to root for anything that
- 34:26Speaker 1: doesn't win. Why don't we such as fans give us
- 34:28Speaker 1: a product a root for.
- 34:30Speaker 3: But even like even like Copa America. Right, that's all
- 34:32Speaker 3: happening here. It's the tournament we lost. Yeah, yeah, that's
- 34:34Speaker 3: the tournament happening here in the Americas. It's all the America,
- 34:38Speaker 3: South America, Central America.
- 34:39Speaker 1: North America, Aguay, Panama, Yeah, Brazil, what you talked about, Argentina,
- 34:44Speaker 1: all those guys, and so, like you watch those games
- 34:46Speaker 1: which are taking place at like Cowboys Stadium, Chanceas City,
- 34:50Speaker 1: Kansas City is the one I was watching.
- 34:51Speaker 3: Yeah, Kansas City where the chiefs arra awhead and like
- 34:54Speaker 3: the crowds are like, they're okay, Like I how they
- 34:56Speaker 3: get crazy when there's a goal. But when you watch
- 34:58Speaker 3: the other what's.
- 34:59Speaker 1: The other one, the European Premier League.
- 35:02Speaker 3: No, no, no, it's it's it's the same thing, but
- 35:04Speaker 3: it's happening in Europe. Yea right now, the European cupp
- 35:07Speaker 3: or whatever it's called. That one's crazy, dude. They're chanting,
- 35:11Speaker 3: singing the entire game. They're drinking, and then when they score.
- 35:17Speaker 3: This is the coolest.
- 35:17Speaker 1: That's college football dies. Yeah. Not, we don't even do that, dude.
- 35:21Speaker 1: We sing Rocky Top the whole game, the whole game.
- 35:23Speaker 1: Have you ever been to Neyland Stadium?
- 35:25Speaker 3: Dude, when someone's dying, like someone's hurt, they're still the
- 35:29Speaker 3: guy like having.
- 35:30Speaker 1: A heart attack. But I would say, yeah, that's probably
- 35:34Speaker 1: I would say that's the calm college football, but way
- 35:37Speaker 1: more because it's a national college. It's like their national team,
- 35:40Speaker 1: so there's more passion because there's more.
- 35:42Speaker 4: People that care about it unless teams.
- 35:44Speaker 3: Yes, but what's cool too is they throw their beers
- 35:46Speaker 3: when they score a goal.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Like, I wouldn't do that. It's a ten dollars beer, dude,
- 35:49Speaker 1: I wouldn't do that. Get rid of the drink beer,
- 35:51Speaker 1: and I would do that. It's expensive, So watch soccer.
- 35:54Speaker 1: That's what I've done.
- 35:55Speaker 3: Break that's kind of fun, you betting on it.
- 35:57Speaker 1: The America sucks, but other teams, it's like watching WNBA,
- 36:02Speaker 1: not Caitlin Clark, watching two other countries play. They have
- 36:05Speaker 1: no rooting interest for it, don't understand the game, and
- 36:08Speaker 1: they don't score.
- 36:09Speaker 3: You're not watching MESSI I know, I don't care. You're
- 36:12Speaker 3: not watching even playing. Yeah, he's still in it.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Yeah, what you mean is he still playing? Even playing
- 36:18Speaker 1: in this? Yeah?
- 36:19Speaker 4: This I'm saying.
- 36:20Speaker 1: Yeah. It's like it's like we got free tickets. He's
- 36:22Speaker 1: playing in the Europa. It looks like, yeah, America, he
- 36:26Speaker 1: said Europa.
- 36:27Speaker 3: I held on to that, Like, my kids got free
- 36:30Speaker 3: tickets to the soccer game here.
- 36:31Speaker 1: They won the World Cup. I watched him do that messy.
- 36:34Speaker 3: Yeah, but that was a while back, two years.
- 36:36Speaker 1: Yeah. I didn't even really watch. I watch the cliff
- 36:40Speaker 1: right after clip.
- 36:42Speaker 3: Well, my kids got free tickets to the soccer game
- 36:44Speaker 3: here and they were playing Miami.
- 36:45Speaker 1: They're like, da, let's go it's Miami.
- 36:46Speaker 3: I'm like, guys, Messi's playing with Argentina right now.
- 36:49Speaker 1: He's not even there, like.
- 36:51Speaker 4: They didn't want to go anymore.
- 36:52Speaker 1: No, they did not want to go. If we had
- 36:54Speaker 1: a product to root for, we would root we don't.
- 36:57Speaker 1: You see it light up? Like when we're good at anything,
- 37:01Speaker 1: we go crazy for it. We have we suck? Yeah,
- 37:04Speaker 1: uh see, should we take a break? Mic, we should?
- 37:06Speaker 1: All right, let's take a break. I were back. Hey
- 37:10Speaker 1: read remember that Kik Graffy junior card you broke? If
- 37:12Speaker 1: we're breaking packs, I did get it graded. Is a nine?
- 37:16Speaker 1: Is a rookie? That's awesome, it's still good. What do
- 37:19Speaker 1: you mean nine's not? I spent twenty bucks to grade it,
- 37:23Speaker 1: twenty two bucks to grade it. If you were to
- 37:24Speaker 1: sell it, you make.
- 37:25Speaker 3: Like twenty eight bucks. Oh you would, you'd sell it
- 37:27Speaker 3: for twenty It's how much the difference between a ten
- 37:29Speaker 3: and a nine.
- 37:30Speaker 1: If I if you had a ten, it'd be like
- 37:32Speaker 1: two hundred fifty bucks. Yeah, that's crazy. It had to
- 37:35Speaker 1: have been in alignment then, because you literally took it out. Yeah,
- 37:38Speaker 1: it doesn't matter though some you can take I've taken
- 37:41Speaker 1: it right out of a pack, put it right into it.
- 37:43Speaker 1: It's crazy, and they still don't come back tens. But
- 37:45Speaker 1: it could be it's even if it's cut wrong, not
- 37:48Speaker 1: even the fault of the person. Yeah, that's a nine.
- 37:50Speaker 1: I did hit a couple like ninety one ninety Jordan
- 37:53Speaker 1: Ten's that opened at a packs really Yeah, it's super cool.
- 37:56Speaker 1: Get those back yet. Yeah, I got a nine and
- 37:59Speaker 1: a ten. Yes, I got it on. It's on Instagram.
- 38:01Speaker 1: Instagram that Jordan one was thanks. I was pumped because
- 38:04Speaker 1: anything from like ninety ninety anything comes back perfect. It
- 38:08Speaker 1: just looks cool. Yeah, it's cool. Why are you still
- 38:10Speaker 1: wearing your boot? Dude? Get over it. I can't until tomorrow.
- 38:13Speaker 3: They'll probably tell me to take it off because I
- 38:15Speaker 3: take it off at the house and I feel good.
- 38:17Speaker 3: I feel fine. I can't run or anything though, because
- 38:19Speaker 3: now my my cat's dead, I've been.
- 38:22Speaker 1: Wearing all the right side of your body's gonna be
- 38:23Speaker 1: out a way.
- 38:23Speaker 3: Yeah, so that's kind of hard, but I feel a
- 38:26Speaker 3: lot better, I would say, said Dack's wearing a boot too,
- 38:29Speaker 3: that's scary.
- 38:31Speaker 1: No preventative going fishing. He has fishing boot on.
- 38:33Speaker 3: Yeah, he said, he said. The last time I went
- 38:34Speaker 3: to the beach, he kind of he messed his ankle ups,
- 38:36Speaker 3: so he.
- 38:37Speaker 1: Was being preventive. Yeah. No, I was gonna fit. I
- 38:38Speaker 1: saw it.
- 38:39Speaker 3: I felt that yours is.
- 38:40Speaker 4: The way you were to Yeah, you know what to
- 38:41Speaker 4: the beach.
- 38:42Speaker 1: I was being preventive to let me ask you this.
- 38:44Speaker 1: We're going to University of Arizona. Yeah, on Thursday evening,
- 38:48Speaker 1: I'll be bootless. But what are you gonna be able
- 38:50Speaker 1: to do? Nothing?
- 38:51Speaker 3: Maybe like a trot around, not really run full speed.
- 38:54Speaker 1: I would say, if you can't go full you can't go. Yeah,
- 38:57Speaker 1: what you're talking about? No, you go on the trip,
- 39:00Speaker 1: can't run out. It's gonna be bad for You'll hurt yourself.
- 39:02Speaker 1: Oh I'm not gonna No, I can't run it. You
- 39:03Speaker 1: can't do any of the things. I can throw? What
- 39:06Speaker 1: are you talking about?
- 39:08Speaker 3: I can throw?
- 39:09Speaker 1: I would just do. I would just walk as soon
- 39:11Speaker 1: as that boot comes off. I would walk for five
- 39:13Speaker 1: minutes day one, Yeah, ten minutes, day two, ten minutes
- 39:17Speaker 1: day three.
- 39:18Speaker 3: Dude, I'm itching to twenty minutes walk? Am I gonna
- 39:21Speaker 3: mention to?
- 39:21Speaker 1: Like walk for real? What's gonna happen is you're gonna
- 39:24Speaker 1: hurt yourself because you're gonna not push it because it's
- 39:27Speaker 1: not ready. But your body's all out of wat Yeah.
- 39:28Speaker 5: We cannot have any setbacks, Yes, because we still have
- 39:31Speaker 5: got we got a lot, a lot, and we've got
- 39:33Speaker 5: to do our Bible sh Olympics.
- 39:35Speaker 1: Yeah. Although, so here's our tentative plan. We're going to
- 39:42Speaker 1: go to Arizona Thursday. We'll do a podcast from there
- 39:45Speaker 1: that'll probably be up at the end of this week. Cool.
- 39:48Speaker 1: The next week we're going to Oregon with Orgon Ducks.
- 39:52Speaker 1: So you're not gonna able to do anything. It's the
- 39:54Speaker 1: Oregon Ducks in one week.
- 39:55Speaker 3: You don't think I'll be able to run a little bit.
- 39:57Speaker 1: I think if starting tomorrow you start walking on. Yeah,
- 40:02Speaker 1: I'm going to be a doctor on the court, like
- 40:04Speaker 1: before Giannis plays, like watching his movements, tell him if
- 40:07Speaker 1: he can play the game or not.
- 40:09Speaker 4: You know, Arizona to bring their trainer out.
- 40:11Speaker 3: Yeah, just to just to make sure I observe you.
- 40:13Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like they it's the Celtics. It's uh, get
- 40:19Speaker 1: the three of them got their notepads or taking notes?
- 40:22Speaker 1: Can you do? If you don't come back at a
- 40:25Speaker 1: good rate, it'll you'll hurt yourself again, and it won't
- 40:29Speaker 1: even be what you hurt, it'll be something else. Because
- 40:31Speaker 1: anytime I've like hurt something, my body compensates for it
- 40:34Speaker 1: and then it gets all out of way. You're so right.
- 40:36Speaker 3: My left foot feels like it hurts more than my
- 40:38Speaker 3: right now because I've been putting all the weight on that.
- 40:40Speaker 1: I bet your left fot's bionic by now, though. I
- 40:42Speaker 1: can do anything, Do anything, dude. I have your trophy
- 40:45Speaker 1: if you want to really, Yeah, Mike, would you hand
- 40:47Speaker 1: Kevin his Celtics trophy. I haven't brought it to work.
- 40:50Speaker 1: I've forgotten it for like a week. It's in that
- 40:52Speaker 1: black box.
- 40:53Speaker 4: I just got my.
- 40:54Speaker 5: Office all dialed in, put shelves up, put like new
- 40:56Speaker 5: stuff on, and I got a spot waiting.
- 40:57Speaker 1: For this at home. Yeah, it's a little bit you
- 41:00Speaker 1: than I thought. But it's not as big as like
- 41:01Speaker 1: the real one. No, no, no, it's a black one's fanatics.
- 41:05Speaker 1: That looks like a bomb. That's a cool bar. No,
- 41:07Speaker 1: it's like seven deal, those all different. I don't need
- 41:11Speaker 1: that one.
- 41:11Speaker 4: Mike there grating.
- 41:19Speaker 1: Want to show read all right, open that up and
- 41:25Speaker 1: what it is you'll see on the ends eating open
- 41:28Speaker 1: like like that. You don't need to set it down
- 41:30Speaker 1: on the flat open yeah, open the flap flap is
- 41:33Speaker 1: all the stuff like it's like says Celtics all the
- 41:39Speaker 1: entire playoffs.
- 41:43Speaker 3: Careful, WoT every game.
- 41:48Speaker 1: Then you can pull the trophy out. That's awesome, but
- 41:51Speaker 1: take it out, dude, kiss it. Pull the trophy out.
- 41:54Speaker 1: It looks like a soccer trophy.
- 41:55Speaker 4: Does going on right now?
- 41:57Speaker 1: Dude? You want the ere Open Cup.
- 42:01Speaker 4: American won the Cup, shiny.
- 42:03Speaker 1: That's so cool. Even the boxing Wow, I bought that
- 42:07Speaker 1: the night after they won. That's gotta think about you, guys.
- 42:10Speaker 4: You do eighteen time champions right here. It's like the
- 42:13Speaker 4: real thing.
- 42:14Speaker 1: Okay, yep, don't that's not real size though. Don't be
- 42:18Speaker 1: cocky after a gift.
- 42:22Speaker 4: No, this is my way of thanking you to.
- 42:24Speaker 1: Brag and be cocky. Yeah, and lose. Eddie's Cowboys suck.
- 42:29Speaker 1: My Razorbacks suck.
- 42:30Speaker 4: But it's not like you're a MAVs fan. If you're
- 42:32Speaker 4: a MAVs fan, then that would be messed up.
- 42:34Speaker 1: Who's a MAVs fan exactly? Nobody. So my friend Jason
- 42:38Speaker 1: is really celebrate Jason Kidd. My friend Jason was Reddicks
- 42:43Speaker 1: head producer. He traveled with him everywhere. Yeah, he was
- 42:46Speaker 1: executive producer of Redicks podcast and digital show uh old
- 42:51Speaker 1: Man in the Tree oh, Jason, Jason. I know Jason, Yeah,
- 42:53Speaker 1: Jason and so huge MAVs fan. But I don't know
- 42:58Speaker 1: Jason's gonna do now. Jason gallaher go.
- 43:01Speaker 3: To every well but he's got a every Lakers game.
- 43:04Speaker 1: He's a big mass fan. He's got a big thing.
- 43:06Speaker 1: Him and Luca did the whole thing together. Pretty cool.
- 43:08Speaker 4: Thank you for this. This is awesome.
- 43:10Speaker 1: Welcome. That's probably the size of what the MVP trophy.
- 43:13Speaker 3: Yeah, probably right, because that's all that's smaller.
- 43:15Speaker 1: Maybe it's slightly is it heavy? Ah, it's nice. Man,
- 43:20Speaker 1: you kissed it.
- 43:20Speaker 4: I kissed its, kssed it?
- 43:24Speaker 1: What? No? Okay? Other things? I have fifteen hundred dollars
- 43:31Speaker 1: of my dftkings account right now, let's go. I want
- 43:34Speaker 1: to bet it all on soccer future NFL on a
- 43:39Speaker 1: team to win the Super Bowl. Well, I know all
- 43:44Speaker 1: of it.
- 43:44Speaker 4: You don't want to be like five hundred, five hundred, five.
- 43:45Speaker 1: Hundred, I don't.
- 43:46Speaker 3: I want to go all in, but you're gonna deposit
- 43:49Speaker 3: more right after you make that bet.
- 43:50Speaker 1: Well, if I need it, I just haven't really started
- 43:52Speaker 1: betting yet. I won that on the Catlin clock bet.
- 43:53Speaker 3: But you stop betting? What was I betting on soccer
- 43:57Speaker 3: right now, soccer is big UFC's big golf.
- 43:59Speaker 1: I don't bet that stuff. I don't ask her legit.
- 44:03Speaker 1: I don't need to bet. I don't need to bet.
- 44:06Speaker 3: Dude, if Denny Hamlin wins a race at the beginning
- 44:08Speaker 3: of the race, you'll win twenty one to one.
- 44:11Speaker 1: I hear you, but I don't need to bet. I
- 44:12Speaker 1: like to bet. It's fun. I don't need to bet.
- 44:15Speaker 1: Sounds like some people need to bet. Yeah, I love it,
- 44:18Speaker 1: but I like, I need to have some sort of obsession.
- 44:21Speaker 1: If it's not sports cars, it's member bill. I was
- 44:23Speaker 1: betting top ranked boxing last night. See I'm talking about it.
- 44:27Speaker 3: But it's crazy because like it's the favorite. It's like
- 44:30Speaker 3: always a heavy heavy favorite. So you just put a
- 44:32Speaker 3: dollar on the not heavy fit on the underdog. Dude,
- 44:35Speaker 3: you'll win thirty bucks. So put a dollar down to
- 44:38Speaker 3: win thirty is awesome. Never happens.
- 44:40Speaker 1: This is why this shows backwards read when non Stop
- 44:46Speaker 1: calls the eight hundred number to shut his countdown because
- 44:49Speaker 1: he's winning so much, he thinks he could get into
- 44:52Speaker 1: a place that maybe isn't healthy for him. Again, read's
- 44:55Speaker 1: winning so much, he's hey, draft kings. Let's read here
- 45:00Speaker 1: turned my account off. I like it too. They're like, hey, Red,
- 45:03Speaker 1: they know me. Eddie. Who's like, I've bet on thirteen
- 45:07Speaker 1: and underboxing yesterday? Huh that? And I bet thirteen and
- 45:10Speaker 1: under boxing. It's like I got seven to one on
- 45:14Speaker 1: the cock fights. Now they had that Mexico.
- 45:19Speaker 3: I was betting on the on the Olympic trials. That
- 45:22Speaker 3: was kind of stupid. And there's a number.
- 45:25Speaker 1: I don't know every capacity a number.
- 45:27Speaker 3: No, dude, I've had fifty bucks in my account for
- 45:30Speaker 3: three four months here, up and down.
- 45:33Speaker 1: I've taken it high, as high as ninety.
- 45:35Speaker 3: And as low as ten.
- 45:37Speaker 1: Let me give you think about who I should bet
- 45:40Speaker 1: my money on. That's tough. And I'll type it in
- 45:42Speaker 1: and see what my money back is. I put fifteen
- 45:44Speaker 1: hundred bucks. I'll put that in.
- 45:45Speaker 3: AYI saying the Cowboys.
- 45:47Speaker 1: AI who's that? I don't know?
- 45:50Speaker 3: Some aid machine. So the Cowboys probably in the next
- 45:53Speaker 3: three years are supposed to win the.
- 45:55Speaker 1: Next three years. It could be this one thought.
- 45:57Speaker 4: It could be when this shows it or something right exactly.
- 45:59Speaker 1: Yeah, It's like you put puppy chow and both bowls.
- 46:03Speaker 1: What she want? Does he run? To at work. Sometimes
- 46:05Speaker 1: two eggs in the microwave, which one explodes first, think
- 46:10Speaker 1: about that. We'll do the title tittle, but think about that.
- 46:12Speaker 1: Chiefs are at one, nine Ers at two. As far
- 46:14Speaker 1: as odds go, Ravens at three. I'll leave it there, Kevin,
- 46:18Speaker 1: you right for tititle. Let's do it all right, go ahead.
- 46:20Speaker 1: Two years time the tittle tattle.
- 46:28Speaker 5: Following the Lakers drafting BRAWNI this year was your favorite
- 46:32Speaker 5: father son duo and sports of all time?
- 46:34Speaker 1: Probably again this card right here, Kinger Junior, Kinker Vigor
- 46:37Speaker 1: because I saw them play together. That's cool. I was
- 46:39Speaker 1: a kid, very young kid, but I saw them play
- 46:41Speaker 1: on the same team at the same time. Really yeah,
- 46:44Speaker 1: not in person?
- 46:45Speaker 4: Oh, I think, oh no, no, no.
- 46:47Speaker 1: I'm not an kate. Why dude, I don't leave the state.
- 46:49Speaker 1: I didn't leave the state until I was like twenty.
- 46:51Speaker 1: Were they with the Reds Mariners? He played for the Reds?
- 46:55Speaker 1: He may have played, but Senior played for them. When
- 46:58Speaker 1: I think of them, and maybe Mike, could I check this?
- 47:01Speaker 1: They both played outfield for the Mariners. I know at
- 47:04Speaker 1: the same time. Maybe King Griffy Sr. Was a man
- 47:08Speaker 1: or a coach or something of the Reds maybe, or
- 47:10Speaker 1: maybe he played a little bit there too, but I
- 47:12Speaker 1: would say that's probably one. I mean, there are other
- 47:14Speaker 1: father sons, obviously the Curries. I barely remember Dale Curry. Yeah,
- 47:19Speaker 1: I don't remember that barely. That was the time when
- 47:22Speaker 1: really nobody shot threes except for like Craig Elo and
- 47:25Speaker 1: Mark Price and Dale Curry.
- 47:29Speaker 4: What about the Chris Mullins.
- 47:32Speaker 1: Chris Mallin shot threes, But Chris Maullin was a he
- 47:34Speaker 1: was like kind of like Larry Bird. He was a forward.
- 47:36Speaker 1: He's a big dude who could also shoot threes. But
- 47:39Speaker 1: like Mullins played with Hardaway same time on the Golden
- 47:41Speaker 1: State teams.
- 47:42Speaker 3: He was awesome in the NBA.
- 47:43Speaker 2: M Yeah, really that night was the best, Yeah, nineteen
- 47:46Speaker 2: ninety that he hit back to back home runs on.
- 47:49Speaker 1: Against on what too? They on the Reds together on
- 47:52Speaker 1: the Mariners? Did they ever play on the Reds together?
- 47:55Speaker 1: Let's see, because I remember them on the Mariners together. Yeah.
- 48:00Speaker 3: Gosh, that's a tough question because I'm trying to think
- 48:02Speaker 3: of other son.
- 48:03Speaker 1: Dion and no sons, we're that old now.
- 48:08Speaker 3: Yeah, but they didn't play together.
- 48:09Speaker 1: Well, no, nobody did, except for Griff sor and Junior
- 48:13Speaker 1: that I can think of. McCaffrey's didn't. But I'm just
- 48:16Speaker 1: thinking of father sons and sports like the Mannings. I
- 48:18Speaker 1: don't even know Archie Manning the dad. What do you
- 48:23Speaker 1: mean you don't know him? I never watched him play
- 48:25Speaker 1: for the Saints. That was before us. Yeah, so, I
- 48:27Speaker 1: mean I know Peyton and Eli and then arch but
- 48:31Speaker 1: that's not even the son of a player. That's the
- 48:32Speaker 1: other brother, right, Mikey.
- 48:34Speaker 2: Looks like he left the Reds to join the Mariners,
- 48:36Speaker 2: so didn't play the Reds together.
- 48:39Speaker 1: They did not play in the Reds together, left the
- 48:42Speaker 1: Mariners join the Reds.
- 48:44Speaker 2: He left the Reds to join the Mariners.
- 48:47Speaker 1: Oh the dad started yes and switched Yeah, yeah, okay, Yeah,
- 48:54Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with because I saw them together. Those
- 48:56Speaker 1: two next up.
- 48:57Speaker 5: Now that they knew SEC is official, which knew A did?
- 49:00Speaker 5: Do you think we'll struggle most Texas or Oklahoma?
- 49:02Speaker 1: Yeah? I got Texas helmet right in front of me.
- 49:06Speaker 1: I already don't like Texas. I'm okay saying that because
- 49:10Speaker 1: any school I don't like, I don't like you for
- 49:12Speaker 1: a reason. You're either a lot better. I get annoyed
- 49:16Speaker 1: by you winning. That's why people hate the teams they
- 49:20Speaker 1: hate because they hate to lose to them. There are
- 49:23Speaker 1: teams we lose to at Arkansas and it's like, I
- 49:25Speaker 1: don't hate them, but like old mess they they're annoying,
- 49:27Speaker 1: but I don't hate it. They don't beat them out
- 49:29Speaker 1: of the threat. But when you grow up in Arkansas,
- 49:32Speaker 1: Texas is big brother. Your little brother, Texas big brother
- 49:35Speaker 1: because they played in the Southwest Conference forever together and
- 49:39Speaker 1: Texas got more money. School's bigger, it gets a big recruit,
- 49:42Speaker 1: so you grow up in Arkansas automatically disliking Texas. It
- 49:45Speaker 1: would be like if you grow up a Michigan State fan.
- 49:47Speaker 1: Your whole family's Michigan State. Who do you hate Michigan? Michigan, Michigan.
- 49:50Speaker 1: You know why I got a big freaking big brother.
- 49:52Speaker 1: They got more money, they got more championships. So I
- 49:55Speaker 1: don't like Texas. Now individually, I love peop that like
- 50:00Speaker 1: the Longhorns. I have a lot of long Horn fan friends.
- 50:02Speaker 1: I have people that have coached Longhorns. I have people
- 50:04Speaker 1: that have played for the long Horns. But I hate
- 50:06Speaker 1: Texas because they win and I don't like that. Although
- 50:11Speaker 1: we did beat them a couple of years ago and
- 50:12Speaker 1: we stormed the field is awesome, but they're gonna be
- 50:14Speaker 1: real good for a bit.
- 50:15Speaker 4: I just saw you say that on Twitter.
- 50:16Speaker 1: You think they're gonna be good in the SEC. Yeah,
- 50:18Speaker 1: they're gonna be good for the next few years. For sure.
- 50:21Speaker 1: They're stacked. Yeah. Somebody was like, you already good wax
- 50:24Speaker 1: by Texas and the SEC. I was like, bro, only
- 50:26Speaker 1: thing I know is a lot like in the last
- 50:29Speaker 1: two years we've played and we stomped. I think I said,
- 50:32Speaker 1: we beat the piss out of you something like that.
- 50:34Speaker 1: You told them not really, Yeah, I know you did, Eddie.
- 50:38Speaker 5: Are you like a minority as far as anti Texas
- 50:41Speaker 5: ut from from Texas because Mike's a big YOUT fan.
- 50:44Speaker 3: Man, I'll tell you what happened with me. Like I worked.
- 50:47Speaker 3: I worked about two blocks from the stadium for like
- 50:51Speaker 3: eight years while I lived in Afice growing up. Growing up,
- 50:54Speaker 3: didn't care. I didn't care about college football, got it.
- 50:55Speaker 3: College football just wasn't the thing in my house. But
- 50:58Speaker 3: like so I worked like just a few blocks from
- 51:00Speaker 3: the stadium, and every Saturday when they had a home game,
- 51:04Speaker 3: their fan base would take over our parking lot at work.
- 51:07Speaker 3: So one I could never find a parking spot. Two,
- 51:10Speaker 3: they get so drunk they'd piss on my news truck,
- 51:13Speaker 3: and like they were so freaking annoying dude that ever
- 51:16Speaker 3: since then, I'm like, I cannot stand the Longhorns because
- 51:19Speaker 3: of their stupid fan base.
- 51:20Speaker 1: To be fair, I think any fan base would have
- 51:22Speaker 1: done that if your news fan was right there next.
- 51:26Speaker 3: You don't understand that how many times I would go
- 51:27Speaker 3: down with my camera, Bey, what do you do?
- 51:29Speaker 1: Can I do?
- 51:30Speaker 3: Why are you pissing on my truck?
- 51:31Speaker 1: Get out of here? Sorry? Brother? Easily could have been
- 51:33Speaker 1: the balls in Misissippi State, idiot. Yeah. For me, Texas
- 51:37Speaker 1: was always a big brother school, and it was always
- 51:40Speaker 1: you know, Texas has like an arrogance about them because
- 51:42Speaker 1: they were really good for a long time. You're arrogant the.
- 51:45Speaker 3: Tense young days, talking about the Vincent days.
- 51:48Speaker 1: Even before that. But it's like, okay, royal, Yeah that's
- 51:52Speaker 1: what I So, they'd always say, well, they're pissing on
- 51:54Speaker 1: my truck, They're okay, it's name that being said. I
- 51:58Speaker 1: have a Colt McCoy helmet right now, yea, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 52:01Speaker 1: I have two dorm dudes is doing college helmets? At
- 52:03Speaker 1: least for a while. And I have a Longhorn Colt
- 52:06Speaker 1: McCoy helmet signed and Wisconsin all three of the Watt
- 52:10Speaker 1: brothers signed it. Yeah, t J Watt, JJ Watt and
- 52:14Speaker 1: the other one and Skippy Watt the other one Derek Yeah,
- 52:19Speaker 1: Derek yeah yeah, skipy uh so hell football player. I
- 52:24Speaker 1: think Oklahoma I think I was surprised that they gave
- 52:28Speaker 1: their coach such a such an extension for so much money,
- 52:32Speaker 1: considering he hasn't only done anything there yet and he's
- 52:34Speaker 1: a defensive coach.
- 52:34Speaker 3: Who's that a venables?
- 52:35Speaker 1: Yeah, he's a defensive coach. It's an offensive world. If anything,
- 52:41Speaker 1: it's probably like we're going to the SEC. We need stability,
- 52:43Speaker 1: let's just commit to you. And they're gonna give him
- 52:47Speaker 1: to or three years anyway, especially moving to the SEC.
- 52:49Speaker 1: So it's like if we give them too or three
- 52:51Speaker 1: years and we have to fire them, Okay, we'll paying
- 52:53Speaker 1: for two years. But I think Texas knows who they
- 52:56Speaker 1: are more than Oklahoma does. Another reason I hate Texas
- 52:59Speaker 1: because my wife hates Texas, but that's because she's a
- 53:02Speaker 1: die hard Sooner fan, and I think even Texas fans
- 53:04Speaker 1: would say, well, you're supposed to hate Texas if you're
- 53:06Speaker 1: from Oklahoma. The same way, if you're from Texas, you
- 53:09Speaker 1: hate Oklahoma, you're a Longhorn fan.
- 53:11Speaker 4: See the Arkansas hatred toward Texas is something I never
- 53:13Speaker 4: knew about.
- 53:14Speaker 1: Nobody does because nobody don't care about it, cares about us. True,
- 53:17Speaker 1: that's we hate everybody, but we really hate Texas because
- 53:20Speaker 1: that was who we felt was one of our big
- 53:23Speaker 1: rivals every year softball. Ricky's funny. I was with him.
- 53:26Speaker 1: He works for the Longhorns, and when we went and
- 53:29Speaker 1: walked around, uh, inside of facilities at Texas. By the way,
- 53:32Speaker 1: it's the best I've ever seen. It's the best I've
- 53:34Speaker 1: ever seen.
- 53:35Speaker 3: Talking about the money, yeah, it's the best of ever
- 53:37Speaker 3: sence he got money.
- 53:38Speaker 1: He was talking about how he was telling the coach
- 53:39Speaker 1: staff two years ago and he went to Faville. Hey, you
- 53:41Speaker 1: guys don't know what you're doing. You don't know what
- 53:44Speaker 1: you're up against. It doesn't matter if they have if
- 53:46Speaker 1: it's the little giants like that entire state, this is
- 53:50Speaker 1: the one game that they will kill their family to win.
- 53:53Speaker 1: Like it is going to be in every way terrible
- 53:58Speaker 1: for us, unless we oh you out immediately. And what
- 54:01Speaker 1: happened was we stayed close, it stayed up. We beat
- 54:04Speaker 1: them pretty bad.
- 54:06Speaker 4: You read that game right.
- 54:07Speaker 1: I was walked out, piss on news van right next
- 54:11Speaker 1: to just for fun for all those Saturdays. But it's
- 54:15Speaker 1: like pure hatred. But it's pure hatred out of like
- 54:19Speaker 1: jealousy that we don't have the money and the facilities
- 54:22Speaker 1: and the history. Lot a lot of schools don't have
- 54:25Speaker 1: that money. I hate him, yeah, yeah, out of respect
- 54:27Speaker 1: though I hate them respect. Yeah.
- 54:29Speaker 5: Going to the NBA, here a lot of free agents
- 54:30Speaker 5: getting paid. Which one is your favorite so far?
- 54:33Speaker 1: I guess my favorite is. What's hilarious is nobody want
- 54:35Speaker 1: to go to Lakers. Demartin Rosen picked the Kings even
- 54:38Speaker 1: today or last night, but went to the Kings over
- 54:41Speaker 1: the Lakers. Klay Thompson, Lebron even called them, that's crazy.
- 54:45Speaker 1: Clay Thompson's dad is the radio guy for the Lakers.
- 54:47Speaker 1: Clay Thompson's dad was played for the Lakers, and so
- 54:52Speaker 1: here's every reason to just move right up the road.
- 54:54Speaker 1: But he didn't want to go play with the Lakers.
- 54:57Speaker 1: That's fun because he's going to Dallas and will probably
- 55:01Speaker 1: be the number three guy. And at first it was like, man,
- 55:04Speaker 1: did they have enough ball to go around? But he's
- 55:07Speaker 1: gonna space that court out a bit, if anything, because
- 55:10Speaker 1: he'll just stand in the corner and even a guy
- 55:14Speaker 1: standing on him the whole time is going to create
- 55:16Speaker 1: space for Luca, for Kyrie. So Paul George is interesting.
- 55:22Speaker 1: Although they paid Paul George over twenty million bucks and
- 55:25Speaker 1: he's playing, he's gonna be the number three guy with
- 55:27Speaker 1: the Sixers, guess I mean I would think Maxi's the
- 55:29Speaker 1: number two guy there.
- 55:30Speaker 5: Right, Yeah, I mean he's quickly turning into a one
- 55:33Speaker 5: just because of Mbad's health more than anything.
- 55:35Speaker 1: And Paul George is like thirty two whatever it is.
- 55:42Speaker 1: He's got a couple he's on the back side of
- 55:44Speaker 1: his prime. He's got a couple of years probably being
- 55:46Speaker 1: really good. So but who went to the Spurs? Is
- 55:50Speaker 1: that Chris Paul? Chris Paul. That's right, that's fun. I
- 55:53Speaker 1: think I'm so unter interested in most of these. I
- 55:57Speaker 1: think the Clay thing was was fun. It's only three years.
- 56:01Speaker 1: He didn't stay golden stake. They wouldn't veim third year.
- 56:03Speaker 1: They were gonna give him two. They wouldn'tive him the
- 56:05Speaker 1: third year, so he went to Dallas. So the clay
- 56:08Speaker 1: thing is fun. But I love Chris Paul with Wimbanyama
- 56:13Speaker 1: because that's gonna be fun.
- 56:15Speaker 3: It's like it's like a father playing with something.
- 56:18Speaker 1: He has now somebody that can actually distribute, they can score.
- 56:23Speaker 1: I mean, Chris Paul's fifty one, where's his son? Why
- 56:27Speaker 1: is his son not playing? But I think that I
- 56:30Speaker 1: think that's the one that's my favorite.
- 56:31Speaker 4: But he's done doing championships, Like he's not chasing championships anymore, obviously, No.
- 56:36Speaker 1: I think I think it's like one year, ten million dollars.
- 56:39Speaker 5: Yeah, he's like transitioning into coach based mentor and a
- 56:42Speaker 5: mentor and he's just gonna throw some lobs.
- 56:45Speaker 1: But I like that though, like everybody else sucked on
- 56:47Speaker 1: the Spurs. They are you watching any of France play?
- 56:52Speaker 1: Oh my god, this is gonna be crazy. The Uys
- 56:54Speaker 1: may not win the Olympic Basketball We're really good, but
- 56:58Speaker 1: watching France watching go A play center and Wimby play
- 57:02Speaker 1: point forward. Wimby takes the ball at the court and
- 57:06Speaker 1: just shoots the three. Those two guys seven four and
- 57:10Speaker 1: seven to one. Think of the rim protection there with
- 57:14Speaker 1: those two dudes. The Olympic's gonna be awesome. Canada's got
- 57:16Speaker 1: a team for NBA players. Yeah, I've been watching a
- 57:19Speaker 1: lot of that though, like because their the US team
- 57:21Speaker 1: has been practicing at UNLV and they're shooting FOBA three's,
- 57:25Speaker 1: which is like a layup to Steph?
- 57:28Speaker 4: Is it shorter?
- 57:29Speaker 1: It's like the three point line is right on the
- 57:31Speaker 1: top of the key right really? Yeah, so it's like
- 57:33Speaker 1: high school. I watched Steph go around the world and back.
- 57:39Speaker 1: I don't think hit the rim, easy, breezy, like, I
- 57:42Speaker 1: don't think hit the rim. I watched them shoot all
- 57:44Speaker 1: the way up and all the way down, just straight
- 57:45Speaker 1: thing as that you would say, nothing but day give
- 57:47Speaker 1: my change.
- 57:48Speaker 3: Talking about that time every time?
- 57:50Speaker 1: What else?
- 57:51Speaker 4: Last one?
- 57:51Speaker 5: Which big name signing do you think a team will
- 57:53Speaker 5: regret in a couple of years.
- 57:57Speaker 1: I will say Lebron did really cool thing where he
- 58:00Speaker 1: said I'll take less money if you get me one
- 58:02Speaker 1: of these five people. Lakers couldn't land any of them,
- 58:05Speaker 1: so he did take a max still two year max stell.
- 58:07Speaker 1: I don't hate him for that because he did say
- 58:09Speaker 1: I will take twenty million less a year, et cetera
- 58:13Speaker 1: if you can get one of these people. I think
- 58:16Speaker 1: Lebron's got two more good years in him. I think Lebron'
- 58:18Speaker 1: saw a top ten player. He's thirty nine. It's so impressive.
- 58:21Speaker 1: He's still All NBA. I think he may be an
- 58:22Speaker 1: All NBA second team last year. He looks good, he
- 58:25Speaker 1: looks young. He's going to play point forward in the
- 58:28Speaker 1: At the Olympics, he'll start, probably play point forward, stefine
- 58:32Speaker 1: play off ball. I've been watching a lot of Olympics.
- 58:34Speaker 1: By the way, if you can't hear i'm talking, I'm
- 58:35Speaker 1: just basketball Olympics. Yeah, yeah, like I know everybody's playing,
- 58:39Speaker 1: watching shout or anything. No, no, no, only basketball. I'm
- 58:42Speaker 1: watching practices. I'm just so intrigued by how good these
- 58:47Speaker 1: other countries are. Oh yeah, the NBA Luke goes out.
- 58:50Speaker 1: They lost, so they're not playing in the Olympics, lot
- 58:55Speaker 1: VR or whatever. No, Slovenia, Slovenia, is that right, Slovenia, Well,
- 59:01Speaker 1: I don't know, but they lost.
- 59:02Speaker 3: His country is out.
- 59:03Speaker 1: They lost to Giannis. So Jannie is in Francis. That's Greece.
- 59:08Speaker 4: Joannas has his own country now, yeah.
- 59:10Speaker 1: His brothers on those two on that, I don't know. Okay,
- 59:13Speaker 1: what do you got, Mike Slovenia. Okay, it always feels
- 59:16Speaker 1: like a vampire loves there regardless.
- 59:18Speaker 3: It's like.
- 59:22Speaker 1: Where the guy comes out with a K, but.
- 59:26Speaker 3: It's a it's a Yeah, it's Luca and Dracula.
- 59:29Speaker 1: Yeah, beat those guys. But I would say probably the
- 59:37Speaker 1: Paul George deal was four years. It's mid thirties. I'm
- 59:41Speaker 1: sure you're four that's gonna be hurting a little bit. Uh,
- 59:44Speaker 1: But you gotta pay him, so I don't think Lebron
- 59:49Speaker 1: it was only a two year max deal. I think
- 59:51Speaker 1: Broni's gonna be Okay, everybody's making a big deal about
- 59:54Speaker 1: nothing in college. Like dude, he had a heart freaking
- 59:57Speaker 1: heart attack going r going to the season.
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: I understand that, but even when he was healthy, he
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: was he had a heart attack.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: It's worse than like a torn.
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: A cl you're talking about after the heart attack, Yes,
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: I'm talking about before the heart attack.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: No, he was. He played wonderful in McDonald's All Star Game.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: What are you talking about? What are you talking about
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: at USC? Yes? He after the heart attack. Yeah, yeah, okay,
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: he was a freshman.
- 1:00:23Speaker 4: You don't know what you're talking about.
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: But he played before. He played before the heart attack.
- 1:00:27Speaker 4: In high school. In high school, he only played one
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: year at.
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: USC, oh and that was that was post heart attack.
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: I feel bad now post heart attack. I didn't watch him, like, dude,
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: he sucks.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: He came off the bench. What he averaged six points
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: a game? Who cares? But is that what it was? Yeah,
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: but again he came off a heart attack. So at
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: USC that was post heart attack.
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: He didn't play it all at USC before heart attack.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: No, they didn't know if he was gonna they don't
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: know if he's gonna get to play.
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: That makes sense. So he's a better now, he's a
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: better better? Is he better now?
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: No? He played his first Summer League game, which I
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: watched a bunch of, and he didn't. I think he
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: was like a shot like thirty nine percent from the field,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: but I think he had four points to steal something
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: little line like that. But who cares? Some league doesn't matter.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: But I think he'll be okay. He's probably still gonna grow. Listen,
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: Joannis grew like five inches in the NBA. Yeah, I
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: still think that Bronni's gonna grow. And also, if this
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: worked out, bronis by soccer. But we need some athletes
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: just go play soccer. They run a lot, man, but
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: probably just the Paul George deal. Okay, that's a tittle tattle.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: Thank you, closing up the tittle tattle. Okay, before we
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: go away, let's put our money on somebody. I just
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: want to know who you guys think I should put
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: the fifteen hundred on. Reid?
- 1:02:01Speaker 4: Let's go.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: What was the list? You weren't even thinking about it? Okay,
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: Reid wasn't even think of Chiefs. He wasn't even thinking
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: about it. I gave him like fifteen minutes to think
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: about it. What you been doing over there? Honest? What
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: were you doing over the really to scratch my arms?
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: Spacing out? Yeah?
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: All right, Raid says Chiefs. I go Chiefs, Eddie. I mean, man,
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: I don't think you. I mean, who else has a
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: chance other than the Cowboys and the Chiefs. Oh, I
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: don't think the forty nine ers are gonna win.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: I mean the forty nine ers are at plus six
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: hundred their second overall.
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: Dude, I think you have to just keep rolling with
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: the Chiefs. That's your safe bet.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: Man, the Chiefs. What Yeah, well, I'll Kevin you go ahead.
- 1:02:45Speaker 5: It's hard because I want to take a team, but
- 1:02:48Speaker 5: it's so hard to go against them, the Chiefs, that is.
- 1:02:50Speaker 5: But I don't touch forty nine ers anymore. I would say,
- 1:02:52Speaker 5: what about the Lions? What are they fourth?
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: Fifth? Fourth? At plus twelve hundred?
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: You think they can go all the way?
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: I do.
- 1:02:58Speaker 5: They were almost there last year, and they got so
- 1:03:01Speaker 5: close in the NFC.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: And now they have Chris Paul and now that funny. Okay,
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: so you have they're going line.
- 1:03:11Speaker 5: I'm definitely not going like Ravens. I don't even think
- 1:03:12Speaker 5: the Ravens will be happy good this year.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: Oh you know, I think they'll be good.
- 1:03:16Speaker 4: Really, they'll be really good.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: Yeah, Mark Andrews back healthy, Lamar Jackson and that's about it.
- 1:03:24Speaker 5: They flower and if you could bet that Burrow is
- 1:03:27Speaker 5: obviously healthy the whole season, I put them.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: But we have to assume everybody's healthy though, because we
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: can say anybody can be hurt.
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: I think that NFC is so much easier to get
- 1:03:37Speaker 4: through too.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: So you're saying that the line you're saying, I'll say
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: the lines. That's a good little flyer. Yeah, what are
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: you thinking? After all Chiefs? The first forty nine ers
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: or second? What are the odds on the Chiefs plus
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: five point fifty still pretty good. Yeah, I'm trying to
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: find it actually on my app here they have them
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: all out and might print it all the odds for
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: trying to find the future of here we go, more bets, futures,
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: Boom Champion. Okay, I have them. So let's say I
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: put fifteen hundred on the Chiefs. That's nine one hundred
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: dollars they win the Super Bowl. Yeah, okay, the forty
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: nine Ers, it's basically the same. That's six plus six hundred.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: It's a little more bit.
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: Why don't you trust the Niners.
- 1:04:28Speaker 5: Kevin, because they just I want to say the Niners too,
- 1:04:31Speaker 5: but they just keep getting.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: There and just fit Bills or plus twelve the Bengals
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: or plus thirteen hundred. So the order is Chiefs, Niners, Ravens, Lions, Bills, Bengals.
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: That line's gonna be good money.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: Texans Eagles, Cowboys the Texans. If I bet this on
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: the Cowboys, look at the Eagles. Listen to this. If
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: I bet this on the Cowboys.
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: One million dollars.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: If I bet fourteen hundred on the fifth hundred on
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: the Cowboys, I win twenty five thousand. Yeah, it'd be awesome.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: Deck's wearing a boot, he's prepared, do it? Do it?
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: Come on putting on the Cowboys.
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: For entertainment value.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: I don't love the Cowboys. Come on all right, place
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: bet place? Oh my goodness, yes for twenty five thousand,
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: telling you, dude, AI, some AI machine out there is
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: saying the Cowboys could win this year. But AI, you
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: don't know if it's art for American Idol. You don't
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: know which. Yeah, exactly, all right, thank you all. We're done.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: We will see you guys later this week. We'll be
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: doing our show from Tucson Thursday Friday. Probably it'll be
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: up on Friday. Hey, where's our guy at he's playing?
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: Oh he's still in it. Yes, we tried to get
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: him on, but he's playing right now. Yeah, he's still
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: the poker, our guy. I know what that meant. I
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: knew U natest breaking news. Brownnie's out of the next
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: Summer League game. Swelled stolen me. I'm sorry, he just
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: hit me here. Sorry about the heart attack, it says,
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: we bet they call it. Two players have been eighty
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: nine eight hundred. Two players have been all in seat
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: six doubled up no eliminations at our table seat nine
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: short stack. Oh, he's he's still writing his first table
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: elimination after old Man's seat nine. There he was playing
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: with an old man. Later he goes all in new player,
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: be your sin. So it feels like because he gave
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: us an update. There were like let's say ten thousand,
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: it's like nine thousand and nine something like that. We'll
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: say ten thousand. But he gave us an update that
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: he was like I have right here like six thousand
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: place or like in the he's in the middle. He's
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: right in the middle of the field, firmly in the middle. Okay,
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: because because.
- 1:06:53Speaker 3: You're looking at like the lead leader number one is
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: at like but.
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: So that's not updated as it goes. You know that
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: it's not okay each day.
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: Here I'll tell you right now, Okay, here we go.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: I got it. He was six thousand, nine hundred out
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: of ninety four hundred, and he's got eighty grand like
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: eighty ish. Yeah, so he's in it. He's fighting. Where
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: do we need him to hit to make them think?
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: I think, just stay alive, right, stay alive. I know,
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: like there's a threshold. You make it to a certain point.
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: There has to be a cutoff.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: You get paid. You're the only one. I don't want
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: to ask him about it. Well he's playing. Hey man,
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: where do you need to be where we get paid? Yeah,
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: I'll ask him that tomorrow because if he survives.
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: So, the Leader, just as of the last time this
- 1:07:42Speaker 3: was updated, I don't know when that was, the Leader
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: has four hundred and forty five thousand dollars worth of.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: Chips at least had it before it started, and he
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: had eighty thousand. He's an eighty. OK. That gives you
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: kind of an idea.
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: I remember the date being the twelfth. If he makes
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: to the twelfth, you'll get rich. It's the note I had.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: If he makes it tough today he doesn't even play
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: on the eighth, I don't know, but he's still in.
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: It looks like there's only three three thousand players left
- 1:08:08Speaker 3: really start today, So that's not bad.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: Or is that just the ones that are playing today
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: because they're split.
- 1:08:15Speaker 3: It's all of them, they're all they're all playing today.
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: We don't they merged. They merged, all of them, and
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: he's not. I'm sure Broni's in the tournament. You know what,
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: You're right about that Bronnie's low chip count. All right,
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: Reid yeall football so we can get out of here.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: Football there, It is all right. We will see you guys.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: Bye buddy,
