- 0:00Speaker 1: It charl of what he praise party.
- 0:01Speaker 2: I am Sherry Mackie at his time, right now, for
- 0:05Speaker 2: today's word, God, What God has given you? God, What
- 0:10Speaker 2: God has given you? Judge sixteen twenty eight says. Then
- 0:13Speaker 2: Samson pray to the Lord, Sovereign Lord, remember me again,
- 0:18Speaker 2: Oh God, please strengthen me just one more time. You know,
- 0:22Speaker 2: there are things God places in our lives that are
- 0:25Speaker 2: more than gifts.
- 0:26Speaker 1: They are sacred assignments.
- 0:28Speaker 2: Our purpose, our character, our influence, our families.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Our opportunities.
- 0:33Speaker 2: The calling God has placed on us is not accidental.
- 0:37Speaker 1: It's entrusted to us.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Samson understood what it meant to be chosen before he
- 0:44Speaker 2: was born. Purpose had already been spoken over his life.
- 0:47Speaker 2: God called him to deliver his people, and Samson was
- 0:51Speaker 2: given extraordinary strength to fulfill that assignment. God's hand was
- 0:56Speaker 2: upon him in a powerful way. Yet having a calling
- 1:00Speaker 2: and protecting and calling are two different things. Over time,
- 1:05Speaker 2: Samson became careless with what was sacred. He compromised, He
- 1:10Speaker 2: ignored warnings, He allowed distractions and unhealthy relationships to pull
- 1:15Speaker 2: him away from wisdom. Little by little, he treated lightly
- 1:19Speaker 2: what God intended him to guard carefully. Eventually, the man
- 1:24Speaker 2: known for strength found himself weak, captured, blinded, and bound.
- 1:30Speaker 2: His story is a reminder that even people with great
- 1:33Speaker 2: potential can drift when they stop valuing what God has
- 1:38Speaker 2: entrusted to them. Well, the same question reaches us today.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Are we protecting what God has given us? Are we
- 1:46Speaker 2: guarding our peace? Are we protecting our faith? Are we
- 1:48Speaker 2: investing in our families? Are we honoring our integrity nurturing
- 1:53Speaker 2: the gifts God's placed on the inside of us?
- 1:55Speaker 1: See?
- 1:56Speaker 2: Sometimes loss doesn't happen all at once. It happens gradually
- 1:59Speaker 2: through neglect, through compromise, or believing something sacred is common.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Yet Samson's story does not end in failure. That may
- 2:10Speaker 2: be the most encouraging part.
- 2:11Speaker 1: I think for you and me.
- 2:14Speaker 2: At his lowest point, after mistakes, after regret, after consequences,
- 2:19Speaker 2: Samson cried out to God, strengthened me one more time?
- 2:23Speaker 2: And God answered, See that's the thing. And God answered, see,
- 2:28Speaker 2: think about the mercy in that Samson had failed, but
- 2:31Speaker 2: God had not abandoned him. His mistakes were real, yet
- 2:35Speaker 2: God's grace was greater. The same God who called Samson
- 2:39Speaker 2: still heard his prayer. That means failure is not always final.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Maybe you feel miss you've mishandled opportunities. Perhaps you've drifted
- 2:50Speaker 2: from purpose neglect that you're calling a made choices you
- 2:53Speaker 2: wish you could undo. The enemy wants you to believe
- 2:56Speaker 2: it's too late. But God is a god of restoration.
- 3:00Speaker 2: As mercy creates rooms for another chance, his grace says,
- 3:03Speaker 2: rise again, return again, believe again. See your setback does
- 3:07Speaker 2: not erase your purpose. Your failure does not cancel God's ability.
- 3:11Speaker 1: To redeem your story.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Today, I want you to consider what God is placed
- 3:15Speaker 2: in your hands, treated as sacred protected, Honor it, and
- 3:19Speaker 2: if you've stumbled along the way, remember God still strengthens
- 3:23Speaker 2: people one more time, and sometimes that one more time
- 3:27Speaker 2: becomes the beginning of a brand new chapter.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Oh Father, God, thank you.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Thank you for the gifts, the purpose, and the call
- 3:34Speaker 2: you've placed on our lives. Help us to value and
- 3:37Speaker 2: protect what you've entrusted to us. Thank you for your
- 3:40Speaker 2: mercy that covers our failures and your grace that gives
- 3:43Speaker 2: us another opportunity to walk in purpose, Strengthen us again
- 3:47Speaker 2: when we've become weak, and restore what we've neglected. Oh God,
- 3:51Speaker 2: we believe You're not finished with us yet. In Jesus' name.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Now that's your word for today. Take it applied to
- 3:57Speaker 2: your everyday life, and you continue to be encouraged and inspire.
- 4:00Speaker 1: It is your early morning praise party. I am Sherry
