- 0:02Speaker 1: On scolds Australia.
- 0:05Speaker 2: This is the Wider Panalty Show.
- 0:09Speaker 3: Good evening and welcome to the Riata Paney Show. Coming
- 0:12Speaker 3: up tonight, The Business Council of Australia hits out at
- 0:15Speaker 3: the Albanezer government as red tape and activist law fair
- 0:19Speaker 3: stifle investment and jobs growth. The Great Douglas Murray joins
- 0:23Speaker 3: the program and we discuss everything from Australian parents being
- 0:26Speaker 3: asked about.
- 0:27Speaker 4: They then pronounce for kindergarteners to.
- 0:30Speaker 3: Radical socialists or on Mam Danny's wives. In New York,
- 0:34Speaker 3: Army Horowitz undergoes a social experiment on foodstams.
- 0:39Speaker 4: You won't believe the results, and.
- 0:41Speaker 3: We introduce you to a hugely popular political pundent, a
- 0:45Speaker 3: former police officer turned author and radio stuff Brandon Tatum
- 0:50Speaker 3: will be here and left.
- 0:51Speaker 4: He's losing It.
- 0:52Speaker 3: Features habitual liar Gavin Newsom.
- 0:56Speaker 5: Nothing I dislike more than the politician that it sits
- 1:01Speaker 5: there in lies to you and we all just sit
- 1:03Speaker 5: there role in our eyes. Go and give me a break.
- 1:05Speaker 3: But first, energy analysts have already found serious flaws in
- 1:09Speaker 3: the albanesey government's solar shareer scheme, which is set to
- 1:13Speaker 3: provide Australians with three hours of free power each day.
- 1:16Speaker 4: They say that not only would it drive up a jury.
- 1:19Speaker 3: Prices, but it would also work against qrid Swoan's renewables fantasy,
- 1:24Speaker 3: boosting the nation struggling coal industry and discouraging green energy projects.
- 1:29Speaker 3: MSD market analyst Sol Kavonik told The Australian newspaper there
- 1:33Speaker 3: is no free lunch and customers will ultimately still have
- 1:36Speaker 3: to pay for this. This window of free electricity during
- 1:40Speaker 3: the day will have to be offset by high prices
- 1:43Speaker 3: at other times to cover the fixed costs. This can
- 1:46Speaker 3: just as easily be seen as a measure to cover
- 1:49Speaker 3: up for the energy policy failings that have led to
- 1:52Speaker 3: too much intermittency and left the market to stretch during
- 1:57Speaker 3: peak demand periods.
- 1:59Speaker 4: Joining me now for more on this is mensi's Research Center.
- 2:02Speaker 3: Senior fellow Nikata and Sky News contributor Louise Roberts Nick,
- 2:08Speaker 3: this is another hair brain scheme that is ultimately going
- 2:13Speaker 3: to drive up prices.
- 2:16Speaker 6: Well, you know, I think that the motto is if
- 2:19Speaker 6: an offer looks too good to be true, it usually
- 2:22Speaker 6: is too good to be true. If it's an offer
- 2:25Speaker 6: that comes from Chris Bow and it definitely is too
- 2:27Speaker 6: good to be true, and as people have uncovered, this
- 2:30Speaker 6: is just nonsense. I mean, somebody will have to pay
- 2:33Speaker 6: for those transmission costs, even if the cost of energy
- 2:35Speaker 6: is basically free in the middle of the day, because
- 2:37Speaker 6: they've got so many of these wretched sailor panels. It's
- 2:39Speaker 6: still going to pay the transmission and system costs and
- 2:42Speaker 6: that'll just be added on to your bill later in
- 2:45Speaker 6: the day.
- 2:47Speaker 2: It's nuts, reader.
- 2:47Speaker 6: I mean, when I first came to Australia, stop me
- 2:50Speaker 6: if I'm soldy like sounded like an old bloke. When
- 2:52Speaker 6: I first came in the late nineteen eighties, I could
- 2:55Speaker 6: turn on my washing machine any time I wanted, three am, am,
- 3:01Speaker 6: nine pm. Didn't matter. I would still be getting the
- 3:04Speaker 6: third cheapest electricity prices in the OECD. Now I'm being
- 3:09Speaker 6: told by Chris bow and when I have to turn
- 3:11Speaker 6: it on, No, I mean, can't we go back to
- 3:14Speaker 6: an energy grid where they worry about the demand and
- 3:17Speaker 6: they provide enough every minute of the day to meet
- 3:19Speaker 6: the demand, not us having to sort of work around
- 3:22Speaker 6: them with some kind of rationing scheme.
- 3:27Speaker 3: It is crazy and Louisa's just far too much interference
- 3:31Speaker 3: in the marketplace when it comes to this sector, and
- 3:34Speaker 3: it seems to be this government's only strategy. They want
- 3:37Speaker 3: to have more intervention to deal with problems they've created.
- 3:43Speaker 7: That's right, and look, it sounds like a catchy slogan,
- 3:45Speaker 7: doesn't it free power during the day, But as Nick says,
- 3:48Speaker 7: what will happen is we will be penalized for using
- 3:50Speaker 7: it when we actually use it, which is where we're
- 3:52Speaker 7: at home at night, putting our washing machines on and
- 3:55Speaker 7: our drives and our dishwashers and whatever. And they shouldn't
- 3:58Speaker 7: be telling us when we should use it. We pay
- 3:59Speaker 7: the most ridiculous prices and this shouldn't be used to
- 4:03Speaker 7: paper over a very very very dangerous policy, a dangerous
- 4:08Speaker 7: zero policy from the government itself. And they've been pushing
- 4:11Speaker 7: more about batteries and solar panels, but this contradicts it
- 4:15Speaker 7: directly as the point you made earlier.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Now, BHB Santos, the New South Wales Minerals Council and
- 4:24Speaker 3: the Business Council of Australia have demanded the Albanizer government
- 4:27Speaker 3: make major changes to create jobs, attract investment and slash
- 4:32Speaker 3: red tab.
- 4:33Speaker 4: They say workplace laws are.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Prioritizing narrow union interests instead of real wages growth. Business
- 4:40Speaker 3: Council of Australia CEO Brand Black said Australia needed to
- 4:45Speaker 3: be a better place to do business, invest and innovate,
- 4:49Speaker 3: and that hinged on globally competitive regulatory settings. Nick, we
- 4:55Speaker 3: have renewable energy subsidies driving up energy costs. We've got
- 4:59Speaker 3: activists lawfare combined with red, green and black tape slowing
- 5:05Speaker 3: down crucial projects. Of course it's going to be impacting
- 5:08Speaker 3: jobs and real wages growth.
- 5:11Speaker 6: Yeah, every aspect of the Albanezi government's policy is there
- 5:15Speaker 6: to ensure that the future is not made in Australia,
- 5:17Speaker 6: is it. You know, we've already seen Tomogo last week
- 5:20Speaker 6: talking they're going to have to pull out in twenty
- 5:22Speaker 6: twenty eight and take their manufacturing load out to China
- 5:26Speaker 6: so the emissions won't go down, they'll come off our
- 5:28Speaker 6: initials bill. It is ridiculous that the bottom line is,
- 5:32Speaker 6: and it's quite simple, an you studied market economics. If
- 5:36Speaker 6: we're having to pay more for a product than we
- 5:39Speaker 6: should otherwise because of either more expensive electricity in this case,
- 5:44Speaker 6: more expensive red tape or the CFMEU premium as we
- 5:48Speaker 6: call it. You know, the thirty percent minimum Elextra pay
- 5:51Speaker 6: have to pay for a building or road because of
- 5:53Speaker 6: CFME you are involved. Then naturally it is not good
- 5:57Speaker 6: for the economy. It's not good for future prosperity, it's
- 5:59Speaker 6: not good opportunities and jobs. It's not great for our children.
- 6:03Speaker 6: I don't know why the Albanezi government still doesn't get
- 6:08Speaker 6: these very basic things about the way a market economy operates.
- 6:14Speaker 3: Two concerns now over Victoria's rapidly growing reliance on offshore lenders,
- 6:20Speaker 3: amid revelations overseas investors now arew inn almost a quarter
- 6:25Speaker 3: of Victoria's debt as Australian banks close their wallet to
- 6:29Speaker 3: more state bonds Luise. This has forced the Allen government
- 6:35Speaker 3: to look internationally for more loans, and this is really
- 6:39Speaker 3: in a desperate effort to fend off a potential credit
- 6:42Speaker 3: ratings downgrade.
- 6:44Speaker 7: Well that's right, So Victoria's debt problem is now a
- 6:46Speaker 7: major global issue. It's so bloated that the local banks
- 6:50Speaker 7: have just said we're not taking a bite of these
- 6:52Speaker 7: at all. And the figures were one hundred and ninety
- 6:54Speaker 7: four million by twenty nine, twenty thirty, I believe.
- 6:58Speaker 1: And that's rating rising.
- 7:00Speaker 7: It and if those figures are corrective, two million dollars
- 7:03Speaker 7: an hour or something crazy like that. I mean, you
- 7:05Speaker 7: wouldn't live in Victoria for quids sometimes, really would you
- 7:08Speaker 7: read it? Because they seriously have a problem, the debt
- 7:11Speaker 7: problems out of control and they won't say who's buying
- 7:14Speaker 7: the debt. They're being very storm about whether it's Chinese
- 7:18Speaker 7: interested buying the debt, which is a concern obviously because
- 7:21Speaker 7: that gives them some leverage.
- 7:23Speaker 4: But yeah, just absolute disaster.
- 7:28Speaker 3: Nick, I've only got twenty seconds. But Victoria was the
- 7:31Speaker 3: only government that sent signed up to the Beltzon Road
- 7:34Speaker 3: initiative before the Morrison government canceled that little arrangement.
- 7:41Speaker 6: This is the worry, isn't it. I Mean, China's done
- 7:43Speaker 6: this to every third world country that they can get
- 7:46Speaker 6: their hands on, just to get them on the hook
- 7:49Speaker 6: with debt, and now they've gone for the third world
- 7:51Speaker 6: state of Victoria.
- 7:52Speaker 8: You know.
- 7:53Speaker 6: So it was kind of the Chinese were obviously going
- 7:55Speaker 6: to do it, but that your government down there should
- 7:58Speaker 6: fall for it on top of everything else down there.
- 8:00Speaker 6: Rita's surely it's time to relocate to Sydney. That's all
- 8:04Speaker 6: I'd say.
- 8:07Speaker 3: Third world country, third World State, Nick Cator, that is
- 8:10Speaker 3: too harsh, But thank you so much for your time,
- 8:12Speaker 3: and thank you Loise Robertson.
- 8:15Speaker 4: Joining me now.
- 8:16Speaker 3: Is the author of international best sellers, including The Strange
- 8:19Speaker 3: Death of Europe, The Matters of Crowds, The War on
- 8:21Speaker 3: the West, and his latest on democracies and death cults.
- 8:25Speaker 3: Douglas Murray, It's been a momentous day. New Yorkers have
- 8:28Speaker 3: voted for a new mayor. He is a radical leftist,
- 8:31Speaker 3: a socialist, some call him a communist and zor and
- 8:34Speaker 3: Mam Danny is going to change New York dramatically and
- 8:38Speaker 3: anticipating an influx of New Yorkers fleeing to his state,
- 8:42Speaker 3: Texas Governor Greg Abbott has threatened to slap a hundred
- 8:46Speaker 3: percent tariff on any Ma'm danny refugees. He tweeted after
- 8:51Speaker 3: the poll's close tomorrow night, I will impose a hundred
- 8:54Speaker 3: percent tariff on anyone moving to Texas from New York City.
- 8:59Speaker 3: States like Texas and Florida are going to be the
- 9:03Speaker 3: beneficiaries of this New York exodus.
- 9:05Speaker 9: Douglas, Oh, for sure, there's just no doubt about that.
- 9:09Speaker 9: We've discussed before each other, you know, in the US,
- 9:12Speaker 9: the federal system is one of the great geniuses of
- 9:16Speaker 9: it is that it makes it very easy to move
- 9:18Speaker 9: around the US different states, looking for work and looking
- 9:22Speaker 9: for cheaper housing, looking for better standard or quality of living,
- 9:26Speaker 9: looking for place with less crime, and so on. It's
- 9:28Speaker 9: very easy to do in the US in a way
- 9:31Speaker 9: that it isn't in most other countries. When Governor Abbott
- 9:36Speaker 9: said that, I mean, I take it with a pinch
- 9:38Speaker 9: of salt. But there's a serious point, by the way
- 9:41Speaker 9: behind that, which is when there have been exoduses of
- 9:45Speaker 9: people from for instance, progressive states liberal states like California
- 9:51Speaker 9: in the past. You see a phenomenon that occurs in
- 9:55Speaker 9: other countries too, but it's very stark in America, where
- 9:58Speaker 9: people end up leaving a place where the policies they
- 10:03Speaker 9: have effectively voted for most of their lives come into
- 10:07Speaker 9: effect make their lives worse. And then some people who
- 10:11Speaker 9: can flee flee to a place that has more conservative politics,
- 10:16Speaker 9: but they bring their liberal politics with them. You can
- 10:20Speaker 9: see that, and you can see that in Texas where
- 10:23Speaker 9: many people from California fled California. They go to polaces
- 10:28Speaker 9: like Austin, Texas, and they keep voting Democrat. So it's
- 10:34Speaker 9: I can understand Governor Abbott's slight and rye comment there.
- 10:41Speaker 3: Oh, and plenty of Texans feel the same way. You
- 10:45Speaker 3: look at Austin with the influx of Californians new Yorkers,
- 10:48Speaker 3: it's unlike the.
- 10:50Speaker 4: Rest of Texas.
- 10:51Speaker 3: You've got a lot of the same issues that you
- 10:53Speaker 3: see in New York and San Francisco. But let's hear
- 10:58Speaker 3: from a New York woman about what issues really matter
- 11:01Speaker 3: to her and will determine how she votes. It gives
- 11:05Speaker 3: you a clue into why Mamdani is doing so well.
- 11:08Speaker 4: It is okay?
- 11:08Speaker 10: Is it okay that our neighbors are getting taken off
- 11:11Speaker 10: the streets by ice? Is it okay that gender affirm
- 11:14Speaker 10: and care is being taken from young people who really
- 11:16Speaker 10: need it to survive? Is it okay that the Supreme
- 11:19Speaker 10: Court has now justified racial profiling. That's not how I
- 11:22Speaker 10: want to treat my neighbor.
- 11:23Speaker 4: Now, Douglas.
- 11:24Speaker 3: Some may characterize that woman as an awful that's an
- 11:28Speaker 3: affluent white female leftist, and that is a powerful voting block.
- 11:35Speaker 3: They're among Mamdani's most committed supporter base, and they can
- 11:40Speaker 3: turn elections. You look at the demographics, you look at
- 11:43Speaker 3: the voting patterns, and that block votes very left in
- 11:50Speaker 3: a very consistent manner.
- 11:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:53Speaker 9: In fact, of course it's similar types of politics. They're
- 11:57Speaker 9: actually responsible for the government shutdown.
- 11:59Speaker 2: At the moment.
- 12:01Speaker 9: The Republicans and the Democrats are at loggerheads on one
- 12:06Speaker 9: issue in particular, which is whether or not illegal migrants
- 12:10Speaker 9: into the US should be given healthcare. And that's the
- 12:16Speaker 9: sort of position that many Democrats, frankly, have found themselves
- 12:21Speaker 9: in is supporting things which even fifteen twenty years ago
- 12:26Speaker 9: would have been absolutely disastrous policies for the left to
- 12:30Speaker 9: push for. If you went back to the nineteen nineties
- 12:33Speaker 9: and had a very successful Democratic president like Bill Clinton,
- 12:38Speaker 9: if he'd have said, yes, we should have open borders
- 12:41Speaker 9: and anyone who breaks into the country should be given
- 12:46Speaker 9: superior healthcare, effectively to many Americans, people would have said,
- 12:51Speaker 9: did you want to not get elected? But there has
- 12:55Speaker 9: been this extraordinary shift on the left. It's true there's
- 12:59Speaker 9: been a shift on the right as well, but there's
- 13:01Speaker 9: been an extraordinary shift on the left in recent years.
- 13:05Speaker 9: And just consider this that look at the priorities of
- 13:09Speaker 9: that woman, I mean, gender affirming care. Please, when it
- 13:15Speaker 9: is to do with one of the world's great cities,
- 13:19Speaker 9: perhaps the world's great city, staring into the fat face
- 13:24Speaker 9: of democratic socialism, and you're saying, let's not talk about
- 13:28Speaker 9: the economy, Let's not talk about the illegal immigration, Let's
- 13:31Speaker 9: not talk about the crime, let's not talk about the homelessness,
- 13:37Speaker 9: any of these things. Let's talk about gender affirming care. Normally,
- 13:41Speaker 9: that is the sort of thing that would make a
- 13:43Speaker 9: party and a candidate totally unelectable. Yet weirdly we do have,
- 13:47Speaker 9: as you mentioned, Rita, this strain of people for whom
- 13:50Speaker 9: there is just never a cause too progressive that they
- 13:55Speaker 9: don't want to die.
- 13:56Speaker 3: On the hill of it, even if it hurts them personally.
- 14:02Speaker 3: That's what's remarkable, particularly with these affluent, overwhelmingly white leftist
- 14:08Speaker 3: women backing the most radical elements of the transagender.
- 14:13Speaker 4: Now, to contrast from that.
- 14:14Speaker 3: We have an increasing number of young people, college kids,
- 14:18Speaker 3: who are rejecting leftism and rejecting it loudly. Douglas, you
- 14:23Speaker 3: wrote about this phenomenon in the New York Post.
- 14:28Speaker 9: Yes, that's right, Reta. There was an event in Mississippi
- 14:35Speaker 9: just last week organized by Turning Point USA and at
- 14:40Speaker 9: this university. More than half the student body registered to
- 14:44Speaker 9: attend the event, and there were crowds growing in the
- 14:49Speaker 9: street front queues forming from the break of day till
- 14:55Speaker 9: the end of day to get into the event. It
- 14:58Speaker 9: was not least, I suppose with the draw of the
- 15:02Speaker 9: Vice President J. D.
- 15:03Speaker 2: Vance. But actually it's.
- 15:05Speaker 9: Something that Charlie Kirk and Turning Point have tapped into.
- 15:10Speaker 9: Other groups have as well, pray for you and others.
- 15:13Speaker 9: In the United States, they've realized that a lot of
- 15:17Speaker 9: older conservatives effectively gave up on the younger generation, effectively
- 15:23Speaker 9: sort of decided that, you know, well, everyone goes through
- 15:26Speaker 9: this liberal period at least for a time, and they
- 15:29Speaker 9: do it when they're young, and we'll try to speak
- 15:33Speaker 9: sense to them and they'll get it when they grow up.
- 15:35Speaker 9: And Turning Point and a few other organizations have actually
- 15:39Speaker 9: know there are lots of reasons why young Americans, like
- 15:43Speaker 9: young Australians, young Brits and others should be voting to
- 15:48Speaker 9: the right and should be interested in conservative policy. And
- 15:52Speaker 9: among them, of course, the most striking is the fact
- 15:55Speaker 9: that many of the things in their society, in our
- 15:58Speaker 9: societies do not work.
- 16:00Speaker 2: For the young.
- 16:01Speaker 9: And again, you know, the left has its explanations for that.
- 16:05Speaker 9: It will always say things like, you know, well, that's
- 16:07Speaker 9: because we've got to tax the wealthy.
- 16:09Speaker 2: More or whatever.
- 16:10Speaker 9: But there are many other arguments that can be made too,
- 16:13Speaker 9: conservative arguments, and conservative arguments not just on issues that
- 16:18Speaker 9: affect the socioeconomic status of young people, but also that
- 16:22Speaker 9: address their urge and their desire for meaning in their lives.
- 16:26Speaker 9: I'm very struck by the fact, I think you said
- 16:29Speaker 9: this before read that, I'm very struck by the Christian
- 16:31Speaker 9: element in parts of the young American right, and it's
- 16:36Speaker 9: part of what I see as being a deep hankering
- 16:39Speaker 9: for real and substantial things to be back on the
- 16:43Speaker 9: table again. You know, the left has been very good
- 16:47Speaker 9: at talking about not just specific things but grandiose things.
- 16:53Speaker 9: They talk in terms, as I've often said, of resentment,
- 16:56Speaker 9: for instance. But there are other things that can be
- 16:59Speaker 9: offered to young people as well, such as, again something
- 17:03Speaker 9: I've argued a lot over the years, such as urging
- 17:05Speaker 9: them towards a position of gratitude, towards the things that
- 17:10Speaker 9: are good in their society, Recognize the things that do
- 17:13Speaker 9: work in our countries, that make our countries great, have
- 17:16Speaker 9: made our countries great, and which we can have pride
- 17:19Speaker 9: in I see things like this as as just little signs,
- 17:23Speaker 9: quite big signs, you might say, of a change in
- 17:27Speaker 9: the generation coming up. And I don't think that that
- 17:30Speaker 9: generation should be in any way abandoned by conservatives. I
- 17:34Speaker 9: think it should be spoken to by them.
- 17:36Speaker 4: Douglas.
- 17:37Speaker 3: I hope conservative politicians in Australia are listening to you,
- 17:40Speaker 3: because too many on the so called Centerariotia seem to
- 17:44Speaker 3: think if young people vote left, then we must via left,
- 17:48Speaker 3: instead of actually arguing our positions.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Now.
- 17:51Speaker 3: You also noted in this New York Post piece that
- 17:54Speaker 3: there's been a dramatic drop in the number of young
- 17:56Speaker 3: people identifying as trans. In twenty twenty two, almost percent
- 18:00Speaker 3: of undergraduate students polled in the US identified as trans.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Last year, the figure was three point six percent. It
- 18:08Speaker 3: seems like the social contagion is over, but here in
- 18:13Speaker 3: Australia we remain an outlier when it comes to trans madners.
- 18:17Speaker 3: And here's another example. Parents of kindergarten age children in
- 18:20Speaker 3: Queensland are being asked if they want they then pronouns
- 18:24Speaker 3: for their four year olds. Douglas, there you go, non
- 18:27Speaker 3: binary four year olds. How do parents combat this? Activism.
- 18:32Speaker 5: No.
- 18:32Speaker 9: I mean, the first thing is, of course that you
- 18:34Speaker 9: sees exactly the right term there eat it's a social contagion.
- 18:38Speaker 9: There may be a very tiny number of people, probably are.
- 18:42Speaker 9: They've always had a very very tiny number of people
- 18:44Speaker 9: who genuinely suffer from gender dysphoria. But most of what
- 18:50Speaker 9: we have seen in recent years has been a social
- 18:53Speaker 9: contagion which has been fueled by several things. One of course,
- 18:57Speaker 9: is by the media, but more importantly it's been the
- 19:02Speaker 9: social contagion pushed where it's been deemed to be bad
- 19:06Speaker 9: to be a man, to be bad to be heterosexual,
- 19:11Speaker 9: to be bad, to be white. And if you add
- 19:15Speaker 9: all of those things together, then if you are somebody
- 19:18Speaker 9: who is I mean, it's the same to a certain
- 19:21Speaker 9: degree with women as well, but they've got sort of
- 19:25Speaker 9: one little niche. More on some of the social justice
- 19:28Speaker 9: hierarchy pyramid grievance in some people's views, unless you have
- 19:32Speaker 9: conservative views, obviously, in which case you're back to being
- 19:35Speaker 9: a non woman again, but just barely. From the point
- 19:38Speaker 9: is is that if you actually, if you deem these
- 19:41Speaker 9: things to all be bad, you will encourage some people
- 19:46Speaker 9: to try to find a place on the victim hierarchy
- 19:50Speaker 9: pyramid and identifying as gender queer, non binary and so
- 19:56Speaker 9: on has been in recent years clearly one of the
- 20:00Speaker 9: ways in which some young people have tried to do that.
- 20:03Speaker 9: If you add on to that the fact that many
- 20:05Speaker 9: of them have literally been miseducated into believing that, for instance,
- 20:10Speaker 9: sex is a spectrum and we're all on a sort
- 20:12Speaker 9: of you know, slippery slope. We can go up or down,
- 20:16Speaker 9: and sometimes you're a bit male, and sometimes in the
- 20:18Speaker 9: afternoon after a cup of tea, you're a bit female,
- 20:21Speaker 9: and that anyone cares, that's the other thing, and not
- 20:25Speaker 9: just anyone cares, that everybody should care. Of course, some
- 20:29Speaker 9: people are going to try to tick that box. It's
- 20:32Speaker 9: just very interesting this stat reta that shows not only
- 20:36Speaker 9: a harving of the number of people identifying as you know,
- 20:39Speaker 9: gender non conforming and so on, in some places it
- 20:42Speaker 9: falls by two thirds. I think a lot of people
- 20:46Speaker 9: have just realized that all that stuff was the peak
- 20:50Speaker 9: of what was sometimes called wokism. It was the peak
- 20:54Speaker 9: of the social justice hierarchy intersectionalism thing, and thank goodness,
- 20:59Speaker 9: may we're starting to see it in the rear view mirror. Finally,
- 21:03Speaker 9: as you say, apart from in Australia, I would say
- 21:06Speaker 9: to the parents of anyone apparent who sends their kids
- 21:09Speaker 9: to a kindergarten like that, teach the children to read
- 21:14Speaker 9: and to know what a noun is and a verb
- 21:17Speaker 9: is and so on before you instruct them on what
- 21:22Speaker 9: a pronoun is. Maybe wait till they're eighteen to talk
- 21:27Speaker 9: about that the gender crazy or at some point later,
- 21:30Speaker 9: But teach them reading and writing first, because those are
- 21:35Speaker 9: the things that are going to be skills in their lives.
- 21:38Speaker 9: And all of this pronoun stuff, apart from being uniquely
- 21:41Speaker 9: boring and so on, it is a way to just
- 21:45Speaker 9: avoid doing anything real in the world, you know, obsess
- 21:50Speaker 9: about what pronouns you put in the bio and then
- 21:52Speaker 9: you don't have to do any work that day. I
- 21:55Speaker 9: really hope that Australia stops being the outlier it is
- 21:58Speaker 9: at the moment on this issue.
- 22:02Speaker 4: Douglas Murray, thank you so much for your time tonight.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Great pleasure.
- 22:05Speaker 4: As always still to come left. He's losing it.
- 22:09Speaker 3: Plus New York has a new mayor and Armney Horowitz.
- 22:12Speaker 4: Is hitting the bottle. He'll be up next.
- 22:27Speaker 3: You're watching The Reader Paney Show, and it's time for
- 22:30Speaker 3: Lefty's losing it. Let's start with the view, and here's
- 22:34Speaker 3: Sunny Houston repeating nonsense put forward by Democrat activists.
- 22:38Speaker 4: She states it like it's verified fact, and then.
- 22:42Speaker 3: WHOOPI Goldberg jumps in with another fib claiming Donald Trump
- 22:47Speaker 3: is using an auto pen just like Joe Biden did.
- 22:51Speaker 3: Now the fun really begins when they're asked to correct
- 22:55Speaker 3: that lie.
- 22:56Speaker 11: The Trump family has made about one point eight billion
- 23:00Speaker 11: dollars profited off of this government. And he said that
- 23:03Speaker 11: Joe Biden didn't know who he was partnering using an
- 23:06Speaker 11: autopen how come you don't know who this guy is?
- 23:08Speaker 12: He used an order the meetings that are they're supposed
- 23:13Speaker 12: to go to when they're listening to what.
- 23:15Speaker 1: The hell what?
- 23:17Speaker 13: He? Sunny passes notes.
- 23:19Speaker 4: We don't know if pen used, if Trump used an
- 23:21Speaker 4: not a pan.
- 23:22Speaker 1: To part it was a joke.
- 23:24Speaker 11: We don't know if Trump used an autopen power line,
- 23:28Speaker 11: but we do know that he didn't know who that
- 23:29Speaker 11: crypto gud was.
- 23:31Speaker 3: It was a joke, It wasn't funny, It wasn't said
- 23:34Speaker 3: in jess It followed a bunch of other bs. But apparently, folks,
- 23:39Speaker 3: we just missed.
- 23:40Speaker 4: The nuance, so much nuance on the View. But here
- 23:43Speaker 4: is something different for the View.
- 23:45Speaker 3: They actually had a conservative women, yes a real conservative
- 23:49Speaker 3: woman on with the panel. They tried their best to
- 23:52Speaker 3: get Marjorie Taylor Green to criticize Donald Trump.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Sorry you know that. Now, I tell your favorite president.
- 23:59Speaker 1: He goes against every thing you just said.
- 24:01Speaker 14: Now, look, I like Donald Trump. I far for him
- 24:03Speaker 14: to win. I'm very thankful for the secure border. I'm
- 24:06Speaker 14: friends with Lake and Riley's mother, and we saw over
- 24:10Speaker 14: twelve I serve on homeland security, over twelve million people
- 24:12Speaker 14: came across our border, over two million guidaways. These are terrorists, cartels,
- 24:19Speaker 14: all kinds of criminals. We don't know where they are
- 24:20Speaker 14: in this country, and that affects all of us.
- 24:22Speaker 3: It was a very pleasant chat. Everyone was on their
- 24:26Speaker 3: best behavior. Not so much a robust debate as polite niceties,
- 24:32Speaker 3: but at least joy Beha admits here that any Republican
- 24:36Speaker 3: or conservative coming on the View is going to be
- 24:39Speaker 3: in a five versus one battle.
- 24:41Speaker 14: A lot of people wanted me to come on the
- 24:43Speaker 14: show and say nasty things, and you know, all of
- 24:47Speaker 14: us to fight. They wanted all of us to fight.
- 24:49Speaker 13: Thank you for not doing that.
- 24:52Speaker 1: I didn't want to round that. It's like five to one.
- 24:56Speaker 9: She could handle it.
- 24:57Speaker 3: But she would want now to a woman losing it
- 25:00Speaker 3: for legitimate reasons.
- 25:01Speaker 4: If she's a lefty.
- 25:03Speaker 3: Hopefully she changes her mind after this experience. Here is
- 25:06Speaker 3: singer Tish Hyman's reaction after she had her Golds gym
- 25:11Speaker 3: membership terminated because she dared speak out about a male
- 25:16Speaker 3: body in the women's changing room. Gotta say, I love
- 25:19Speaker 3: this woman.
- 25:20Speaker 8: Goldb mad role.
- 25:24Speaker 5: Man.
- 25:25Speaker 8: We're big and a woman's locker role, and that's why I'm.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Getting kicked out. And I want to make sure the girls.
- 25:33Speaker 1: Now everybody saw that man in a.
- 25:41Speaker 11: Lock a role.
- 25:42Speaker 1: No one says, and I'm done with that.
- 25:48Speaker 8: He's still sex and sanga right, me naked in front
- 25:55Speaker 8: of a man without making But I'm one kinder.
- 26:01Speaker 2: We're not running that in the locker room.
- 26:04Speaker 4: She's right.
- 26:04Speaker 3: It is a dangerous She's confronted with a male body
- 26:08Speaker 3: in the women's chage rooms, a male body that is
- 26:11Speaker 3: watching her naked body. She didn't consent to being naked
- 26:14Speaker 3: in front of that man, and yet she's the one
- 26:17Speaker 3: whose gym membership is terminated. Let's have a look at
- 26:21Speaker 3: that clash with Tish and that dude, and then she
- 26:25Speaker 3: explains why she was so upset.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Stay out of the one's locker room.
- 26:30Speaker 2: We don't want it. He needs.
- 26:34Speaker 1: That. Today I was naked in the locker room. I
- 26:39Speaker 1: turn around and there's a.
- 26:40Speaker 15: Man there and boys like boy clothes, lip glass standing
- 26:45Speaker 15: there looking at me. I'm butt naked. So the first
- 26:47Speaker 15: thing I think is maybe there's a work doing here.
- 26:49Speaker 15: Maybe I missed the sign. I say the word sir,
- 26:51Speaker 15: to say, sir, what are you doing in here? He goes,
- 26:54Speaker 15: don't talk to me.
- 26:55Speaker 1: I'm a woman. I have a right to be in here.
- 26:57Speaker 15: Immediately, I'm passed because I'm button. I feel violated, I
- 27:01Speaker 15: feel like weird, like I don't want to.
- 27:04Speaker 1: Deal with this.
- 27:05Speaker 3: She may be a woman, she may be black and
- 27:07Speaker 3: a lesbian, but the transactivists always trump other minority groups
- 27:12Speaker 3: when it comes to the victimhood stakes. Shame on Gold's
- 27:16Speaker 3: Gym for allowing that to happen and for punishing the victim.
- 27:20Speaker 3: But that's Gavin Newsom's California for you. And talking about
- 27:24Speaker 3: Gavin here is what can only be described as.
- 27:27Speaker 4: A weapon grade what'spar Nothing.
- 27:31Speaker 5: I dislike more than the politician that it sits there
- 27:35Speaker 5: and lies to you and we all just sit there
- 27:37Speaker 5: role in our eyes, go and give me a break.
- 27:39Speaker 3: Incredible to hear that from an habitual liar, one of
- 27:42Speaker 3: the very worst in politics. And here's a very handy
- 27:45Speaker 3: trick to figure out when Gavin Newsom is lying, it's
- 27:49Speaker 3: when his lips are moving. Now, remember Linda Sazor, the
- 27:52Speaker 3: Islamist activists who was celebrated and elevated by the Obama administration,
- 27:57Speaker 3: the woman who let the women's mard Remember that that.
- 28:00Speaker 4: Was hilarious given his support for Shariah.
- 28:03Speaker 3: Oh well, she's back and she's ready to spill the
- 28:06Speaker 3: veins on Zora and Mandani's rise to power takeno America.
- 28:12Speaker 16: The story is not just you know that it's random
- 28:16Speaker 16: that Zoran ascended to this place. It is our Muslim
- 28:18Speaker 16: American communities. And I will also say that it's Muslim money.
- 28:23Speaker 16: The packs that have supported dran Or a particular pack
- 28:26Speaker 16: that has supported Iran's probably over eighty percent of Muslim
- 28:30Speaker 16: American donors in this country, high net donors, grassroots donors.
- 28:34Speaker 16: And I want to make the point that the Unity
- 28:36Speaker 16: and Justice fun Pack, which is the Care superPAC was
- 28:39Speaker 16: the largest institutional door, the largest institutional donor to the
- 28:44Speaker 16: pros and Iran pack in New.
- 28:45Speaker 3: York, Joining me, Nas filmmaker and commenta to Ami Horowitz, Ami,
- 28:50Speaker 3: does that.
- 28:51Speaker 4: Surprise you all?
- 28:54Speaker 1: Sorry? Sorry, listen, we hit the bottle already. Do I
- 28:59Speaker 1: have to I've been rinking all night.
- 29:01Speaker 12: I can't do anything about Zoramangani. Mister cartermom is now
- 29:06Speaker 12: his honor. He is now the sitting mayor of New
- 29:10Speaker 12: York City. This is what it's come to. No surprise,
- 29:14Speaker 12: but am I no surprise that he's mayor? Am I
- 29:16Speaker 12: surprised about the revelation about Islamic money from this are sore?
- 29:21Speaker 1: No, I'm not. No. People have been talking about that
- 29:24Speaker 1: for a long time. Now.
- 29:26Speaker 12: Understand this is not just Muslim people donating. I've got
- 29:29Speaker 12: no issue with that whatsoever, as long as they're.
- 29:32Speaker 1: Legally allowed to do it.
- 29:33Speaker 12: But this pack is was created and is controlled by
- 29:38Speaker 12: CARE right, the Council on American Islamic Relations, and will
- 29:42Speaker 12: carry CARE is a terrorist supporting organization.
- 29:45Speaker 1: That's just not me saying hyperbole.
- 29:48Speaker 12: They're unindicted co conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation lawsuit
- 29:54Speaker 12: and terrorism fund. They the the US federal government prosecuted
- 30:00Speaker 12: them for funding Hamas Karra was an unadeded co conspirator.
- 30:04Speaker 12: Now they are the largest funder of the Mamdani campaign.
- 30:08Speaker 1: Are we shocked?
- 30:08Speaker 2: Now?
- 30:09Speaker 12: Mamdani rapped about this right in his awful, terrible raps.
- 30:14Speaker 1: He rapped about the Holy Land five.
- 30:16Speaker 12: Okay, now understand where this is all coming from.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Right, he is an Islamist.
- 30:21Speaker 12: He is a third world I mean by that is
- 30:24Speaker 12: he looks to elevate the third World.
- 30:26Speaker 1: He wants us to emulate the third World.
- 30:29Speaker 12: Right, he looks at the West, at the US, in
- 30:32Speaker 12: particular for the Western general, as the people who have
- 30:35Speaker 12: destroyed Africa and Asia.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Right that we are colonizers, they are in the.
- 30:40Speaker 12: Situation they are now because of us. Right, that's the
- 30:44Speaker 12: perspective he comes in, and that's what he's gonna bring to.
- 30:47Speaker 1: New York City. He wants to make New York City
- 30:50Speaker 1: like the Third World.
- 30:51Speaker 12: But what can we expect a guy who eats a
- 30:54Speaker 12: burrito with a knife and fork, but eats his rice
- 30:58Speaker 12: with his hand?
- 30:59Speaker 1: Right? They do? Have we forgotten about that?
- 31:02Speaker 12: He is the ultimate that here's code switching, right, I mean,
- 31:06Speaker 12: he's the ultimate code switcher. Democrats are known for that
- 31:08Speaker 12: when he just pops into this like Southeast Asian British slang,
- 31:14Speaker 12: you know Ali g impersonation.
- 31:16Speaker 1: It's so gross, it's so fake.
- 31:20Speaker 12: Yet look, you know, you know the old saying, you
- 31:22Speaker 12: bought the ticket, you take the ride. That's exactly what's
- 31:26Speaker 12: happening in New York. Look, I knew it was a
- 31:27Speaker 12: problem when a lot of the exit polls were fascinating
- 31:30Speaker 12: and one of them was the ask new Yorkers, is
- 31:34Speaker 12: Israel a major issue in your vote? Thirty eight percent
- 31:38Speaker 12: that it was that Israel is part of the importance
- 31:42Speaker 12: for them on how they're New York City is governed.
- 31:45Speaker 12: Once I saw the majority of people, thought that, I go,
- 31:48Speaker 12: this is going to be a problem for us, and
- 31:50Speaker 12: it was the man is now going to be the
- 31:54Speaker 12: mayor of New York City's.
- 31:57Speaker 4: So many unknowns Now what will happen?
- 32:01Speaker 3: For example, if Benjamin Nishanya, who wants to attend the
- 32:04Speaker 3: UN and comes to New York City, is Man Danny
- 32:08Speaker 3: going to order his arrest army.
- 32:11Speaker 1: Well, he's he's going to come to New York.
- 32:13Speaker 12: Believe me, Bibo is not going to shy away from
- 32:17Speaker 12: a fight. No, he of course he's going to attend
- 32:20Speaker 12: is I don't know what's going to happen. I know
- 32:22Speaker 12: that in the days of your when our fame came
- 32:28Speaker 12: to a concert, he was arrested as he should he's
- 32:31Speaker 12: a terrorist. It will be fascinating. I want to see
- 32:34Speaker 12: what's going to happen. I mean, I will pay money
- 32:37Speaker 12: to have a front row seat for that. So yeah,
- 32:40Speaker 12: I mean look, by the way, when he was asked
- 32:42Speaker 12: about that, right he and.
- 32:44Speaker 1: He said that he would.
- 32:46Speaker 12: He also he was also asked, they said, hey, would
- 32:48Speaker 12: you know, do you confidence you just want to have disarming?
- 32:51Speaker 1: Do you want to disarm? Come as he goes.
- 32:53Speaker 12: I have no opinion on that, but I have a
- 32:54Speaker 12: definite opinion on arresting the Prime Minister of the State
- 32:57Speaker 12: of Israel.
- 33:00Speaker 3: Yep, that is going to be incredible. I mean, really,
- 33:03Speaker 3: it couldn't happen to a better place. Manhattan. The folks
- 33:07Speaker 3: there have championed this.
- 33:08Speaker 4: Sort of lunacy and now they're going to live it.
- 33:11Speaker 4: So let's see how that works out for them. But
- 33:14Speaker 4: it's not just New York that voted.
- 33:16Speaker 3: Virginia also had elections and Jay Jones has been elected
- 33:22Speaker 3: Attorney General despite text messages revealing he had wished for
- 33:26Speaker 3: a political opponent to be murdered as well as that
- 33:30Speaker 3: political opponent's young children.
- 33:32Speaker 4: We're talking about toddlers here.
- 33:35Speaker 3: You would think that would be disqualifying army, but apparently
- 33:38Speaker 3: not for Democrat voters.
- 33:40Speaker 4: They backed him.
- 33:42Speaker 12: Yeah, I'm sorry, I couldn't tell if you're being sarcastic
- 33:44Speaker 12: or not. Of course it's not disqualifying, no, won, of
- 33:49Speaker 12: course it's not.
- 33:52Speaker 1: This children. He called for the children to be killed,
- 33:56Speaker 1: not just the officials. I'm not sure.
- 33:59Speaker 12: I mean, I don't know what is worth the other
- 34:01Speaker 12: necessarily right, but look, you know, and by the way,
- 34:05Speaker 12: the governor elect of Virginia was asked if she condemns
- 34:10Speaker 12: Jay Jones, as she wouldn't do in the debate, right, which.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Which goes to the problem of Democrats.
- 34:15Speaker 12: There is a violence problem with the Democratic Party.
- 34:19Speaker 1: There was, there have been a number of polls.
- 34:20Speaker 12: Obviously have the acceptance of political violence, and we've talked
- 34:24Speaker 12: about in the air, but forty nearly fifty percent of
- 34:27Speaker 12: people on the left of the Democratic Party think that
- 34:30Speaker 12: using violence to push a political agenda is necessary.
- 34:34Speaker 1: Sometimes that's a problem.
- 34:36Speaker 12: And by the way, more than a quarter of Democrats
- 34:39Speaker 12: on the center left. I said that that's a proper
- 34:43Speaker 12: use of violence, political violence.
- 34:45Speaker 1: That is.
- 34:46Speaker 12: No, there's a consent structure problem that the Democratic Party has.
- 34:51Speaker 12: Like I've said a million times, it's not just the
- 34:53Speaker 12: people who commit the violence. There committed the violence because
- 34:57Speaker 12: they have the room to breathe right that they're allowed,
- 35:00Speaker 12: they're given the consent structure of the people around them.
- 35:03Speaker 12: Say no, this is what these people support. This is
- 35:07Speaker 12: the living example of that. So of course he was elected.
- 35:09Speaker 12: Of course it's not disqualifying his Democratic Party. And by
- 35:12Speaker 12: the way, those texts came out in the wake of.
- 35:14Speaker 1: The Charlie Kirk assassination. It wasn't like it was in
- 35:16Speaker 1: a I mean, be bad enough.
- 35:17Speaker 12: It was in a vacuum, but it came right after
- 35:19Speaker 12: that assassination, right in that tense environment that we were in.
- 35:22Speaker 12: So no, it's not disqualifying. This is what much of
- 35:25Speaker 12: the Democratic Party has become.
- 35:26Speaker 3: I hate to say it, and sadly, I think the
- 35:30Speaker 3: media shares some of the blame because there was just
- 35:34Speaker 3: a refusal to really cover that.
- 35:36Speaker 4: Story story properly.
- 35:38Speaker 3: If there was a Republican who'd sent texts like that,
- 35:43Speaker 3: you can be sure that every single voter I would
- 35:45Speaker 3: have heard about it. Now, the government lockdown continues, the
- 35:50Speaker 3: fight over snap benefits, food stamps, and you undertook an
- 35:54Speaker 3: experiment with food stamps.
- 35:56Speaker 4: Let's have a look now.
- 35:58Speaker 12: Those who say that you can't live on food stamps,
- 36:01Speaker 12: they're just not generous enough and it's too expensive to
- 36:04Speaker 12: buy food in the inner cities. Well, I'm here at
- 36:06Speaker 12: Seatown and Harlem to find out if I can live
- 36:09Speaker 12: exclusively on foodstamp benefits for a week.
- 36:12Speaker 4: Ami, how did you go?
- 36:14Speaker 3: The full clip is on your ex account and it's
- 36:16Speaker 3: quite fascinating.
- 36:18Speaker 4: You take us through the whole wake Are you hungry?
- 36:23Speaker 17: No?
- 36:23Speaker 1: I ate so?
- 36:24Speaker 12: Well, Look, I wanted to put the lie to the
- 36:28Speaker 12: idea that you can't live on foodstamps, that people are
- 36:31Speaker 12: just barely getting by, right, that's the whole idea. By
- 36:34Speaker 12: the way, you know, we use the word entitlements in
- 36:35Speaker 12: this country. I hate that word because they're not entitled
- 36:38Speaker 12: to it.
- 36:38Speaker 2: Right.
- 36:38Speaker 12: That's the problem that we look at these benefits and
- 36:42Speaker 12: people say, no, I you owe them to me.
- 36:45Speaker 1: The American taxpayer owes. We owe you nothing. By the
- 36:48Speaker 1: way it's called.
- 36:48Speaker 12: They change them from foodstamps to snap, but they don't
- 36:51Speaker 12: want to call it foods stamps anymore, and they're no
- 36:52Speaker 12: longer actual food stamps.
- 36:54Speaker 1: They're now these like ebt cards. They call them.
- 36:56Speaker 12: They're almost the debit cards or credit cards. Because they've
- 36:59Speaker 12: taken the shame at it all together. It's called snap
- 37:02Speaker 12: now supplemental nutrition, right, supplemental that's the idea about it.
- 37:08Speaker 12: But the amount of money you get is incredible.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Here in New York. For a family of four, it's
- 37:12Speaker 1: one thousand dollars a month for food.
- 37:14Speaker 12: I thought that sounds like a lot, and I kept
- 37:16Speaker 12: hearing from people, Oh, you can't.
- 37:18Speaker 1: Live on it.
- 37:19Speaker 12: That's why people are obese, because they can only afford
- 37:21Speaker 12: to eat a McDonald's. By the way, McDonald's for a
- 37:24Speaker 12: family at four is forty bucks a night. So I
- 37:28Speaker 12: didn't this experiment. And by the way, I shopped in
- 37:31Speaker 12: Harlem because they said, well, Harlem, they can't afford to
- 37:34Speaker 12: eat proper food and Harlem's too expense there. Well, I
- 37:36Speaker 12: shot in Harlem, Harlem the same price as in my
- 37:39Speaker 12: neighborhood here in New York, and I was able to
- 37:41Speaker 12: eat salmon, veal, chops, chicken, foods, vegetables three meals a day, right,
- 37:48Speaker 12: And it was for under seventy dollars for the week.
- 37:52Speaker 1: It was under four dollars per meal, right per day.
- 37:57Speaker 1: So yeah, and it's like, look.
- 38:00Speaker 4: It looked good.
- 38:01Speaker 9: Army.
- 38:01Speaker 3: I've got to say, I watched the video and you're
- 38:05Speaker 3: quite the at home chef and you whipped up some
- 38:08Speaker 3: delicious and nutritious meals within that food stamp budget. Incredible,
- 38:13Speaker 3: Army Horriwitz, Thank you so much for your time tonight.
- 38:16Speaker 1: Where's the pleasure?
- 38:18Speaker 4: Still to come?
- 38:19Speaker 3: More reckless retric from the left, this time from Nancy Pelosi.
- 38:24Speaker 3: Online sensation Brandon Tatum joins me next.
- 38:38Speaker 4: Welcome back.
- 38:38Speaker 3: Now, my next guest has risen to be a hugely
- 38:42Speaker 3: popular conservative commentator.
- 38:43Speaker 4: Brandon Tatum was a police officer.
- 38:46Speaker 3: He's now an author, radio personality and a hugely popular
- 38:51Speaker 3: online pundit with more than three point seven million subscribers.
- 38:55Speaker 4: On YouTube alone, plus two point.
- 38:57Speaker 3: Three million Instagram followers and many more on.
- 39:01Speaker 4: Other social media platforms.
- 39:03Speaker 3: Oppicer Tatum, Welcome to the readA Pattihy Show and Sky
- 39:06Speaker 3: News Australia. Let's start with the left's reckless retrick around
- 39:11Speaker 3: Donald Trump. It's almost like they want to inspire another
- 39:14Speaker 3: assassination attempt. Listen to how Nancy Pelosi describes the president.
- 39:20Speaker 18: It's just a vile creature, the worst saying on the
- 39:23Speaker 18: face of the earth.
- 39:24Speaker 5: But any way you think he's the worst thing on
- 39:26Speaker 5: the face of the earth, I do, yeah, I did.
- 39:29Speaker 18: Why is that because he's the president of the United
- 39:32Speaker 18: States and he does not honor the Constitution of the
- 39:35Speaker 18: United States. In fact, he's turned the Supreme Court into
- 39:39Speaker 18: a role court. He's abolished the House of Representatives.
- 39:44Speaker 3: Just astonishing Reetrick, their brand and from a woman who
- 39:47Speaker 3: should know better.
- 39:50Speaker 17: Well, you know, you she heard. Her intent is very
- 39:54Speaker 17: very clear. You know, although we've seen stations happen on
- 39:58Speaker 17: our side all the we've seen others, you know, try
- 40:02Speaker 17: to kill other Republicans, she's intentionally doing this. They're disregarding
- 40:07Speaker 17: the threats that are coming our way because of the
- 40:09Speaker 17: rhetoric they're pushing.
- 40:10Speaker 2: They're disregarding.
- 40:11Speaker 17: They don't care for her to say the worst person
- 40:13Speaker 17: on planet Earth, the worst person in the world, and
- 40:17Speaker 17: he's not abidened by the Constitution. It's almost like she's
- 40:20Speaker 17: dog whistlom for somebody to take him out, because who
- 40:22Speaker 17: would not want a person, you know, who would not
- 40:26Speaker 17: want a person to be taken out if they are
- 40:29Speaker 17: not abided by the Constitution the United States of America.
- 40:31Speaker 17: They're threatening our democracy. They've taken over the courts. I mean,
- 40:34Speaker 17: that's a dictator. That's a person that's going to destroy
- 40:37Speaker 17: this beautiful country. And they know better, but they do
- 40:40Speaker 17: it anyway.
- 40:43Speaker 3: It is just so disturbing despite what has happened, what
- 40:47Speaker 3: happened to Charlie Kirk, the assassination attempt, two of them
- 40:50Speaker 3: against President Trump, and they still continue down this road. Now,
- 40:55Speaker 3: let's go to the government shutdown. How much longer can
- 40:58Speaker 3: this drag out? Let's hear from Democrat John Fetterman, who
- 41:02Speaker 3: posted this earlier today.
- 41:04Speaker 19: This is a record that I never wanted to break.
- 41:07Speaker 19: Here we are in the thirty fifth day shutdown, and
- 41:10Speaker 19: I just voted for the fourteenth time to reopen our government.
- 41:15Speaker 19: I'm going to continue to choose country over party, and
- 41:19Speaker 19: I'm going to say pay everyone, and I'm going to
- 41:21Speaker 19: say make sure everyone's fed.
- 41:24Speaker 3: He said it best there, He's choosing country over party. Brandon,
- 41:28Speaker 3: who do you hold responsible for this shutdown?
- 41:31Speaker 4: And what do you think the political fallout will be?
- 41:35Speaker 2: Well, I have to be honest.
- 41:37Speaker 17: Both sides need to come to an agreement, but I
- 41:39Speaker 17: hold most of the weight on the Democrats because the
- 41:41Speaker 17: Republicans are now have voted to open up the government
- 41:44Speaker 17: over fourteen times. You hear Fetterman say that he's also
- 41:47Speaker 17: voted sweet Republicans, and that's the party, in my personal opinion,
- 41:53Speaker 17: that wants things to be changed. I blame both of
- 41:55Speaker 17: them to a certain degree because we shouldn't have never
- 41:57Speaker 17: got to this point in the first place. I think
- 42:00Speaker 17: that both parties should be able to come to a
- 42:01Speaker 17: solution before this had ever happened. And although I blame
- 42:05Speaker 17: the left more, we as a country, as the people
- 42:08Speaker 17: of America, we want them to do better.
- 42:11Speaker 2: We shouldn't have to go through this at any point.
- 42:13Speaker 17: In my personal opinion, I wish we could pass a
- 42:15Speaker 17: resolution that if you guys can agree, if you guys
- 42:18Speaker 17: can be adults and get your heads out of your
- 42:20Speaker 17: rear end and get things done for the American people
- 42:22Speaker 17: and not have people going without money starving, then y'all
- 42:26Speaker 17: should be fined. Y'all shouldn't get a paycheck. How do
- 42:29Speaker 17: you continue to get a paycheck? And you guys are
- 42:31Speaker 17: not participating in the process in which we've elected you
- 42:33Speaker 17: guys to participate.
- 42:35Speaker 2: But it is very clear that the Democrats.
- 42:37Speaker 17: Are pushing to have I legal aliens have access to
- 42:41Speaker 17: financial aid, and we're saying, no, we're not going to
- 42:44Speaker 17: do that. Pass a clean cr get the government up
- 42:47Speaker 17: and running, and then we can negotiate these terms on
- 42:49Speaker 17: a later date. But the Democrats want to have this
- 42:52Speaker 17: shut down occur, and they want to blame Republicans and
- 42:54Speaker 17: Donald Trump so they can have leverage in the midterms.
- 42:57Speaker 17: This is not about the American people. It's not about
- 42:59Speaker 17: people snap, this is not about any of that when
- 43:02Speaker 17: it comes to the Democratic side.
- 43:03Speaker 2: They just want to win points in the election.
- 43:06Speaker 4: Moving for I think it now did there.
- 43:08Speaker 3: This is all about the midterms and creating an atmosphere
- 43:13Speaker 3: of crisis, giving the impression that the Trump administration is
- 43:17Speaker 3: always in some sort of crisis mode. I have to
- 43:21Speaker 3: ask you about this revelation. Erica Kirk was on Fox
- 43:25Speaker 3: News last night and she addressed Jimmy Kimmel's comments about
- 43:29Speaker 3: her late husband.
- 43:31Speaker 5: Jimmy Kimmel lied about your husband's murder and didn't really apologize.
- 43:37Speaker 5: What would you say to Jimmy Kimmel.
- 43:40Speaker 13: Same thing I taught some cleric. They asked I haven't
- 43:44Speaker 13: really told anybody there. So they asked, do you want
- 43:47Speaker 13: Jimmy to give you an apology? Do you want to
- 43:49Speaker 13: be on a show? How can we make it right
- 43:53Speaker 13: through our team? I responded, I said, Tom them, thank you,
- 43:56Speaker 13: we received They're not this is not our issue, not almost.
- 44:04Speaker 13: If you want to say I'm sorry to someone who's grieving,
- 44:07Speaker 13: go right ahead. But if that's not your hope, don't
- 44:10Speaker 13: do it. I don't want it, I don't need it.
- 44:14Speaker 4: So that's new information. Sinclair Broadcast Group, which.
- 44:17Speaker 3: Operates dozens of ABC affiliated stations across America, they were
- 44:22Speaker 3: going to force Jimmy Kimmel to give an apology, but
- 44:26Speaker 3: Erica Kirk wanted the apology to be genuine or don't
- 44:30Speaker 3: bother at all. Brandon, what have you made of the
- 44:34Speaker 3: criticism of Erica Kirk? It has been so vicious and
- 44:37Speaker 3: so ugly. I know you were very close with Charlie.
- 44:41Speaker 3: I just can't believe how low the left is willing
- 44:44Speaker 3: to stoop to attack this woman.
- 44:47Speaker 17: Well, I'll say that you are one hundred percent right
- 44:51Speaker 17: that the left can find no new level of low.
- 44:53Speaker 17: But the right has also done it. I am perplexed.
- 44:58Speaker 17: I am Freshraed. I'm angry at what people are doing
- 45:01Speaker 17: in light of Charlie's death. They're shaming turning point usay,
- 45:05Speaker 17: some of them are shaming Charlie. Some of them are
- 45:08Speaker 17: acting as if Charlie was a different person than he
- 45:10Speaker 17: was and he can't even defend himself. The asinine approach
- 45:15Speaker 17: of shaming Erica Kirk and criticizing how she's more than
- 45:18Speaker 17: the death of her husband is insane to me, and
- 45:20Speaker 17: people should be ashamed of themselves. The conspiracies that have
- 45:24Speaker 17: come out about Charlie Kirk's death. I mean, I want
- 45:26Speaker 17: to make this very clear. We know who killed Charlie.
- 45:30Speaker 17: We have overwhelming evidence. And wait till the trial comes
- 45:35Speaker 17: out and all of these naysayers and people that have
- 45:37Speaker 17: been judgmental and acting like it was the Jews and
- 45:39Speaker 17: all this other stuff, they're gonna have to eat crow.
- 45:42Speaker 17: They have overwhelming evidence about this guy and we will
- 45:45Speaker 17: find out soon. But it is shameful because I knew
- 45:48Speaker 17: Charlie very well. Charlie was a very private person. Having
- 45:51Speaker 17: his text messages leaked, having his wife in the forefront
- 45:55Speaker 17: with people criticizing her would be something that Charlie would
- 45:57Speaker 17: be against. One hundred percent. Charlie was a good man.
- 46:02Speaker 17: Charlie was a god fear man. Charlie was a leader
- 46:04Speaker 17: amongst a leader for the next generation. And he would
- 46:08Speaker 17: literally be so disappointed as so many people that claim
- 46:12Speaker 17: that they loved him, if he could just see what
- 46:14Speaker 17: they have done in his name, or are they make
- 46:17Speaker 17: money off of his name or they've created platforms off
- 46:20Speaker 17: of his name in this conspiracy into his debt.
- 46:27Speaker 3: It has been so disappointing to see that, and it
- 46:30Speaker 3: must be for you, as a friend of his, it
- 46:33Speaker 3: must be heartbreaking to see that, first the celebration of
- 46:38Speaker 3: his murder from some demented quarters of the left, and
- 46:41Speaker 3: then what's happened since? Before you go and ask you
- 46:44Speaker 3: about Tish Hyman, She's a singer who had her gym
- 46:48Speaker 3: membership terminated because she did speak out about male bodies
- 46:53Speaker 3: in the women's change rooms. And one of the things
- 46:56Speaker 3: she said, which I think needs to be focused on,
- 46:59Speaker 3: she said she did not consent to being naked in
- 47:02Speaker 3: front of some random man in the locker room, and
- 47:06Speaker 3: danga right.
- 47:09Speaker 8: Me naked in front of a man, but I might connection,
- 47:12Speaker 8: but why would they picked up the gender I'm turninated
- 47:16Speaker 8: for not running that in the locker.
- 47:18Speaker 3: Room, Brandon, did you notice in that clip no one
- 47:21Speaker 3: seemed to be backing her. They all knew what happened.
- 47:24Speaker 3: They know it's crazy, it's wrong, but they're too busy
- 47:28Speaker 3: putting pronouns in their bio to actually take a stand
- 47:32Speaker 3: on what is a genuine women's rights issue.
- 47:37Speaker 17: Was this had to be one of the craziest things
- 47:39Speaker 17: I've ever seen. You know, when I first saw the
- 47:41Speaker 17: video going viral, I imagined that it was a trans person,
- 47:45Speaker 17: maybe a person that looked like a woman that's actually
- 47:47Speaker 17: a man that came in the locker room and you know,
- 47:50Speaker 17: pulled us Jennita out, just like Leah Thomas did.
- 47:53Speaker 2: Uh.
- 47:54Speaker 17: That's what I thought initially. Then I saw the video,
- 47:56Speaker 17: I said, wait a minute. This person ain't even trying
- 47:59Speaker 17: to look like a woman. This guy looks like a man.
- 48:02Speaker 17: He's dressed like a gem bro and he just walks
- 48:05Speaker 17: in a women's locker room and he's looking at another
- 48:07Speaker 17: woman naked. And let me say this, it's it's the
- 48:12Speaker 17: epitome of what America has become. In watching how no
- 48:16Speaker 17: one is responding and supporting her. Everybody's too distracted with
- 48:20Speaker 17: everything else. They're doing to stand up for women. And
- 48:23Speaker 17: it's crazy to me because I bet you a million
- 48:25Speaker 17: dollars if the black woman was out there saying it
- 48:28Speaker 17: was a white man calling me a N word, everybody.
- 48:31Speaker 2: Would be jumping to a rescue.
- 48:32Speaker 17: But that when women are offended by men being in
- 48:36Speaker 17: the locker rooms, watching them naked, some of them pulling
- 48:39Speaker 17: down their pants and they have male genitalia and women
- 48:42Speaker 17: didn't consent to it.
- 48:43Speaker 2: I don't understand how.
- 48:44Speaker 17: The women's movement goes on and on and on and
- 48:47Speaker 17: we're standing up for women's rights and me too, But
- 48:50Speaker 17: when it comes to men violating women in the locker room,
- 48:53Speaker 17: somehow there's no voice.
- 48:55Speaker 2: And I'll say this too, I think people should understand this.
- 48:58Speaker 2: These people are.
- 48:59Speaker 17: Perverted in me any cases, because as a man, if
- 49:02Speaker 17: you ever went into a male locker room, or have
- 49:04Speaker 17: you ever been in the male bathroom, there are dividers.
- 49:07Speaker 17: Men don't even pull out that genitalia in front of
- 49:10Speaker 17: other men. I play football in the locker room. Look,
- 49:12Speaker 17: you don't get neked in front of another man. But
- 49:16Speaker 17: why is it that the man in the women's locker
- 49:18Speaker 17: room have the liberty to say I'm going to drop
- 49:21Speaker 17: my pants and watch these women get undressed and get dressed.
- 49:26Speaker 17: You're telling me that's not something wrong with that. Why
- 49:28Speaker 17: couldn't the gym protect women? Women should have to be
- 49:31Speaker 17: able to consent to something like this, which I think
- 49:33Speaker 17: most women wouldn't. That's why they don't do it. But
- 49:35Speaker 17: you can't have men and you don't know where they stand.
- 49:39Speaker 17: Is this guy transitioning?
- 49:41Speaker 2: Is he not? Is he just a freaky guy who
- 49:43Speaker 2: want to see naked women?
- 49:44Speaker 13: Like?
- 49:44Speaker 2: How do they determine that or how do they filter
- 49:46Speaker 2: that out? Check women? They don't.
- 49:49Speaker 17: And this is why this young lady was so upset
- 49:51Speaker 17: and I was trying to reach out to her because
- 49:53Speaker 17: I love the interviewer. This is insane and women need
- 49:55Speaker 17: a voice that are in these situations.
- 50:00Speaker 3: She is so brave for doing that, particularly somewhere like
- 50:03Speaker 3: California because we know the politics there. But it's good
- 50:06Speaker 3: to see Gold's Jim is copying. An almighty backlash online.
- 50:11Speaker 3: People have seen their response to this and they are
- 50:14Speaker 3: disgusted off. Citatum, It's been an absolute pleasure. I hope
- 50:18Speaker 3: we can speak again soon.
- 50:19Speaker 2: Thank you for your time, Thank you so much, goad
- 50:22Speaker 2: bless you.
- 50:23Speaker 4: And that's it for me tonight.
- 50:25Speaker 3: I'll see you tomorrow night at eleven, Newsnight is Up
- 50:28Speaker 3: Next
