  The Nutcracker and the Mouse King is a literary fairy tale

  from 1816 by the Prussian author ETA Hoffman.

  Hoffman and in which young girls favourite Christmas toy The

  Nutcracker comes alive after defeating the evil most king in

  battle Spoiler and and whisks her away to magical Kingdom

  populated by dolls. So I mean, it's kind of on point

  for this community we're in and this collecting community and

  Wow, that's 27 years even before The Christmas Carol by Dickens.

  then I think in the 1840s it was turned into a short story by

  there's a little blurb on the back of the Horseman box that

  they posted the art for and it says the original 1816 version

  of this tale includes a passage stating that The Nutcracker

  slipped from his arm the seven golden crowns of the Mouse King,

  presenting them as proof of his victory.

  However, we never see the body of this creature or any
• 7:32
  definitive evidence of his demise.

  Could this 7 headed ruler of the mice have survived this

  encounter with The Nutcracker? Perhaps he's hiding somewhere in

  the darkness, building up his vermin RB as they wait for a

  chance to rise from the floorboards once again and

  continue The tail of The Nutcracker and the Mouse King.

  There you go. So that's a kind of a cool

  little story piece now. Indeed, apologies, I'm putting

  scenes footage as my chairs wobbling like mad because

  there's a cat clambering on the back of it at the moment.

  Yeah, I'd, I've, I have one cat this week for that has an

  injured paw from fighting another cat and get antibiotics

  and and won't let him out now until he's kind of recovered.

  And he is like a caged animal, you know?

  He's literally meowing at the door all the time and giving me

  the sad poppy eyes even though he's a cat.

  We did take one of ours to the vet a couple of weeks back and

  after the shenanigans last time, I think I mentioned it here that

  we took same cat her to the vets came back, my brother didn't
• 8:48
  recognise her was like hissing and growling at her for two days

  had to keep them apart because she smelled different.

  So this time is like right, they're both going.

  So he was, he was boxed up as well in a cat carrier and take
• 8:59
  and he wasn't happy and he was taken there and you know, he

  just sat on the floor while she was examined.

  And then he came home again and his look on his face was

  basically, what the hell, dude? That whole evening was just
• 9:09
  like, why? What did I do?

  Why did I go with you? Yeah, I'm covering my arm is

  covered in scratches because the the previous that we brought

  that we brought to the vet or the night before wanted to see

  actually what was wrong when we found a kind of lump on the leg.

  So, but in that process, yeah, it was a lot of scratching and

  biting. So I took a pair of gloves and

  and long sleeves to put them in the box to go to that.

  But he was actually all right, Mouse King, back to that and.

  It's appropriate talking about cats and talking about it's.

  You know, the the Mouse King seems a bit more fierce and

  brave than the cats we're talking about here.

  It's a couple of beautiful pictures to start, and this

  seems to be a combination of art and the box.

  I don't know. Or maybe it's all art, I'm not

  sure. Tom Tolman was the artist on

  this, so not not Nate Barch and Tom Tolman was the main artist.

  They've used him before for some other figures and some other

  stuff so. Yeah, he's been doing some

  stuff, hasn't he, Sir? Yeah, and there's, I think that

  is a all art beautiful Christmas scene.

  So Christmas Eve. People, there was a bit of drama

  in the cabal about the fact that this wasn't Christmas present,

  the ghost Christmas present. Even people that so far as

  saying that the horsemen were trolling them with the pictures

  of the Christmas tree in the in the box.

  That's a bit unfair, no? Well, I mean, it's just

  ridiculous as well because The Nutcracker is, I mean, OK, the

  We present Christmas line was a bit, but they've been

  misleading. But The Nutcracker is a

  Christmas story, So what do they want?

  Yeah, and apparently Jeremy said they had this planned even

  before the last because they have to plan in advance.

  So they had already planned this before even the the last year's

  figure Christmas one. I'm quite happy because I didn't

  even pick up the last Christmas Carol one.

  Exactly the same thing. Yeah, for me this is actually a

  nice change. I mean, I am with these cool

  action figure, want it. I'm not too hooked into the

  story and all that. I don't have major Christmas

  nostalgia for a lot of this stuff.

  So Cool action figure does it for me, you know, now of course

  people can like it for the fact that it's a Nutcracker and it's

  their favourite ballet or you know, they they have a Christmas

  memory related to it that also works, right?

  the other ones was just a big sculpt together.

  That seems to be coming in now with the Jersey Devil had one as

  neckpiece for when you want to just put a single head on.

  And also I think that's also a single headed kind of the rough.
