- 0:01Speaker 1: Wake your ass up.
- 0:03Speaker 2: John Jay and Rich. What's crackin' like? And this is
- 0:07Speaker 2: the big boss dog, Snoopy Deagle Double Jizzle.
- 0:10Speaker 3: Damn.
- 0:10Speaker 4: Boom.
- 0:11Speaker 2: What you gonna do? John Jay and Rich. We not talkin'
- 0:14Speaker 2: about Ren 1010.
- 0:14Speaker 3: We not talkin' about Lassie.
- 0:16Speaker 5: It's the one and only dog, y'all.
- 0:17Speaker 6: The classiest Lassie.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Big Snoopy Deagle Double Jizzle. In your face to be
- 0:21Speaker 2: and in the place to be. And you're listenin' to
- 0:23Speaker 2: John Jay and Rich.
- 0:24Speaker 7: Wake your ass up.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Today's national... Get Funky Day.
- 0:29Speaker 8: Let's get funky, you guys, right now.
- 0:31Speaker 2: I think we should. We should get funky. Is that funky?
- 0:36Speaker 8: Yeah, I think so.
- 0:37Speaker 6: National Consignment Day. So if you got clothes to get
- 0:41Speaker 6: rid of, get rid of those clothes. And it's also
- 0:43Speaker 6: Do Something Nice Day.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Isn't that nice?
- 0:46Speaker 9: That's our love update. Nick, our producer, I got to
- 0:51Speaker 9: tell you guys something. I was reading something that he said.
- 0:54Speaker 9: He says, what keeps you motivated? I got to tell you,
- 0:56Speaker 9: he goes, I just hit my 50th Orange Theory class.
- 0:59Speaker 9: And I went right away. He walked in. I go, hey, congratulations.
- 1:02Speaker 9: That's awesome. 50 Orange Theory classes. And in the next slide,
- 1:06Speaker 9: he goes, please do not celebrate me.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Oh, sorry.
- 1:09Speaker 10: No congrats? You know, everybody sees how fit and, you know,
- 1:14Speaker 10: trim I am these days. So I don't need the extra,
- 1:17Speaker 10: you know, extra cell.
- 1:19Speaker 9: Think about this for a second. From what I know
- 1:21Speaker 9: about you, Nick, don't you have, like, a torn meniscus?
- 1:23Speaker 9: It's gone. It's... And eliminate it from your body.
- 1:26Speaker 10: Yeah, I have nothing in my left knee except for bones.
- 1:30Speaker 5: Right?
- 1:30Speaker 9: And then when you take an Orange Theory class, you've
- 1:32Speaker 9: got to run, you've got to do whatever.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, there's a lot of running.
- 1:35Speaker 10: And that's why I think I only have 50 classes
- 1:38Speaker 10: because it takes me about three days to recover from
- 1:41Speaker 10: the class prior.
- 1:42Speaker 9: That's crazy, dude, that you... Congratulations.
- 1:45Speaker 11: I know, and you still do it.
- 1:46Speaker 8: That's pretty amazing.
- 1:47Speaker 9: My God, Rich Torres' meniscus was out for like a month.
- 1:49Speaker 9: Then you started using a crutch. So this guy's doing
- 1:52Speaker 9: Orange Theory classes, Barra.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Come on. Bitch gets leg replaced. Yeah, that takes a
- 1:58Speaker 2: while to come back.
- 1:59Speaker 10: But yeah, I think the thing with Orange Theory is like,
- 2:03Speaker 10: I don't understand people who are like, I love working out. Like,
- 2:07Speaker 10: because I enjoy Orange Theory just solely for the social
- 2:10Speaker 10: aspect of it.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Like, the people there, like, are all very nice and
- 2:14Speaker 2: all very goal-oriented.
- 2:15Speaker 10: I'm like, maybe hanging out with people who are goal-oriented
- 2:19Speaker 10: will make me more goal-oriented.
- 2:20Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean, that's what they say, right? You are
- 2:22Speaker 8: who you hang with.
- 2:23Speaker 9: The next thing that you said was, hey, I went
- 2:25Speaker 9: to Beer Fest at the Science Center.
- 2:27Speaker 2: So I'm kind of like.
- 2:28Speaker 9: Are you at Orange Theory so that you can go
- 2:30Speaker 9: ahead and drink beer and not worry about it?
- 2:32Speaker 10: Well, that's the argument I've had with my wife, too.
- 2:34Speaker 10: And she was like, no. She was like, you would
- 2:36Speaker 10: be doing the beer things... Regardless, she's like, so this
- 2:40Speaker 10: is something that, you know, will will will trim you
- 2:44Speaker 10: up with stuff that you're already doing in your normal.
- 2:47Speaker 2: I see it.
- 2:48Speaker 9: I think you look great. I think how much weight
- 2:49Speaker 9: have you lost? You've got to know.
- 2:50Speaker 12: Right.
- 2:51Speaker 2: I mean, I know about it's about 20 pounds. Nice job.
- 2:55Speaker 9: Nice job.
- 2:57Speaker 2: But I'm I'm super stacked now, too. I've got real
- 2:59Speaker 2: big muscles.
- 3:00Speaker 13: Oh, yeah, I see your eight-pack poking through.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Yeah, everybody's like, dude, you got to buy bigger shirts.
- 3:05Speaker 2: I'm like, whoa, whoa, whoa. Excuse me.
- 3:07Speaker 9: So Nick is the producer of our show, but when
- 3:09Speaker 9: you call our show, you also get Dylan. Dylan is
- 3:11Speaker 9: the person who answers the phone. And I thought Dylan
- 3:13Speaker 9: did something pretty clever that I've never really heard of before,
- 3:16Speaker 9: but it sounds like it's kind of fun. And I
- 3:19Speaker 9: thought maybe she can come and explain it, right? Because
- 3:21Speaker 9: you were just in New York.
- 3:22Speaker 3: Yes.
- 3:22Speaker 9: And what did you guys do? How many friends of
- 3:24Speaker 9: yours went to New York?
- 3:25Speaker 11: We were in a group of seven.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Dang.
- 3:27Speaker 7: Yes.
- 3:27Speaker 9: That's a lot of people. That's fun.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:29Speaker 14: It's nice because we travel well together and we've all
- 3:33Speaker 14: known each other for years. My friend Alexia, I've known
- 3:37Speaker 14: her since fourth grade. Some of you I've known since
- 3:39Speaker 14: I was 12. So we just travel well in a pack.
- 3:41Speaker 14: We're so used to it at this point.
- 3:43Speaker 9: But what was the thing you did with your group chat?
- 3:45Speaker 14: Yeah, so we do this all the time. We've been
- 3:47Speaker 14: doing this for years, but we'll do a do not open.
- 3:49Speaker 14: group chat on snapchat usually so people just throughout the
- 3:52Speaker 14: weekend will spam send a bunch of videos and pictures
- 3:55Speaker 14: just whenever you think of it and nobody can open
- 3:58Speaker 14: it nobody's allowed to until the end of the trip
- 4:00Speaker 14: and then everybody sits down And you like cast it
- 4:03Speaker 14: to the TV and then watch the group.
- 4:06Speaker 9: I saw Kyle just spark up.
- 4:09Speaker 11: Yes, we do it all the time. The do not open.
- 4:12Speaker 14: And it's so fun because there's pictures, videos like there's
- 4:15Speaker 14: always moments you forget about that are so funny. Like
- 4:18Speaker 14: you will die laughing at least one or two times.
- 4:21Speaker 9: But are you home from the trip and you all
- 4:22Speaker 9: get together or it's the last night of the trip?
- 4:24Speaker 9: So the trip's over.
- 4:26Speaker 11: Yeah, trip is over.
- 4:26Speaker 9: Wait a couple of days, wait a week, wait a week.
- 4:28Speaker 9: probably the next day and you can get all 70
- 4:30Speaker 9: guys together after traveling.
- 4:31Speaker 14: Well we didn't have everybody so we have we all
- 4:34Speaker 14: met up so we didn't have cassidy she's in boston
- 4:37Speaker 14: emily's in dallas reese is in la so not.
- 4:40Speaker 4: That i forgot reese is in la no i do
- 4:43Speaker 4: i do like this trend i like that it's on
- 4:45Speaker 4: snapchat i've seen like how a lot of bridal parties
- 4:48Speaker 4: are doing that on their bachelorettes but i didn't realize
- 4:50Speaker 4: that it was snapchat because that's so easy i mean
- 4:52Speaker 4: you open up your app You record, you hit send,
- 4:54Speaker 4: and then you forget about it.
- 4:55Speaker 8: But then it goes away, right? You watch it once
- 4:57Speaker 8: and it goes away?
- 4:57Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 4:57Speaker 13: You can save it.
- 4:58Speaker 8: No, I want to save it, though.
- 5:00Speaker 2: You can save it.
- 5:01Speaker 6: You know what?
- 5:02Speaker 11: It's kind of.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Like the end of The Hangover.
- 5:04Speaker 9: Yeah. When they look at that last, they look at
- 5:08Speaker 9: all their cameras.
- 5:09Speaker 8: They finally found out what happened that week.
- 5:11Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 5:11Speaker 11: Exactly, but it's with video.
- 5:13Speaker 9: Does anybody ever plant stuff? If I was doing that
- 5:16Speaker 9: with my friend group, then there'd be like a funny
- 5:18Speaker 9: body part in there. Yeah.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Oh, all the time.
- 5:20Speaker 14: It'll be like, and especially if we go out, it'll
- 5:23Speaker 14: be like somebody blacked out and send something they don't remember.
- 5:27Speaker 11: Like some picture of someone on the floor.
- 5:29Speaker 14: Like there's always people playing.
- 5:31Speaker 11: Cause you can send anything you want.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Do you think that's your thing?
- 5:33Speaker 6: Cause if I went out with my friends, the weekend
- 5:35Speaker 6: would be like, Hey, did anybody take any pictures or anything?
- 5:38Speaker 16: I feel like I would love if my friends and
- 5:41Speaker 16: I did this, but it would be like, there's only
- 5:43Speaker 16: two of us that actually document what we do.
- 5:45Speaker 8: So it'd just be like, it'd just be like me
- 5:47Speaker 8: and Michelle's roles.
- 5:50Speaker 9: Well, that's very fun, Dylan. By the way, Dylan got
- 5:52Speaker 9: another job. She's not quitting. You're not quitting here, right?
- 5:54Speaker 2: No, no, no, no.
- 5:55Speaker 13: Yes, I did.
- 5:55Speaker 9: What's your other job?
- 5:56Speaker 14: I did get another job. It's at a clothing store
- 5:58Speaker 14: called Rails in Kearland. I have worked three shifts so far.
- 6:03Speaker 9: Is that where you do cocaine there?
- 6:04Speaker 2: What? They do it in the back room every now
- 6:07Speaker 2: and then.
- 6:08Speaker 9: Your back room?
- 6:08Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 6:08Speaker 11: I feel like Rails is a.
- 6:09Speaker 2: They sell everything real fast, too. Is that a place
- 6:12Speaker 2: where you have quick sex?
- 6:13Speaker 13: Well, it's called....
- 6:15Speaker 14: It's called rails because the owner is from California, but
- 6:18Speaker 14: then he traveled to Europe. And so the clothes are
- 6:21Speaker 14: kind of like a blend of, I guess, like laid
- 6:22Speaker 14: back California with like chicness of Europe.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Well, that's a big thing right now. And so he, yeah, lots.
- 6:29Speaker 14: Of moms, but so he named it rails after like
- 6:32Speaker 14: the Euro rail that he was traveling. You're up in
- 6:35Speaker 14: and so I've always been like interested in fashion very
- 6:38Speaker 14: creative person, but I never like thought I've never worked
- 6:41Speaker 14: in retail But it's like a really creative role like
- 6:43Speaker 14: I'm styling people.
- 6:44Speaker 9: Oh, so you're not I go up there and you're
- 6:46Speaker 9: selling a shirt Someone walks in goes. Hey, help me out.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I need to look.
- 6:50Speaker 14: Guys Men and women it's like such a pretty store
- 6:53Speaker 14: and yeah people come in they'll be like I have
- 6:55Speaker 14: an event like this woman came in yesterday I have
- 6:57Speaker 14: an event in Fort Worth. It's a welcome party for
- 6:59Speaker 14: my niece's wedding and I don't want sleeves and I
- 7:02Speaker 14: don't want black. And so then I'll kind of go, yeah,
- 7:05Speaker 14: there are people who are very particular.
- 7:05Speaker 11: And then there's other people who are like, I have
- 7:08Speaker 11: no idea.
- 7:08Speaker 16: It's probably easier with someone who's a little more particular
- 7:10Speaker 16: because sometimes the people like me, they're like, I have
- 7:12Speaker 16: no idea.
- 7:13Speaker 8: And then you brought, oh, you had this whole outfit.
- 7:14Speaker 8: You're like, no, that's not what I was thinking. It's like,
- 7:16Speaker 8: what did you think what you were thinking?
- 7:17Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Where is it?
- 7:19Speaker 9: Carolyn and what? Like where?
- 7:20Speaker 2: Like what makes it look?
- 7:21Speaker 5: It is.
- 7:22Speaker 9: The cross from Scottsdale Quarter in that little area in there?
- 7:24Speaker 13: Mm-hmm.
- 7:24Speaker 9: Next to what? Because I haven't been.
- 7:26Speaker 5: There in a while.
- 7:26Speaker 11: It's on the corner. It's actually really pretty, like the
- 7:29Speaker 11: location of it.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Let's see. Is it just one location?
- 7:31Speaker 11: It's across from the Starbucks.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:33Speaker 11: And across from Crate and Barrel.
- 7:34Speaker 5: Yeah. Oh, wow.
- 7:36Speaker 17: Mm-hmm.
- 7:36Speaker 5: Fun. Yes.
- 7:36Speaker 2: They have soft shirts.
- 7:38Speaker 11: Really soft.
- 7:39Speaker 14: And, like, all the people who work there are really cool.
- 7:42Speaker 14: One of the guys, like, owns his own clothing brand.
- 7:44Speaker 14: So I think it'll be fun. I can make some
- 7:46Speaker 14: new friends.
- 7:47Speaker 9: Do they have stuff that is big enough for, like,
- 7:49Speaker 9: a guy my size?
- 7:50Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 7:51Speaker 9: For real? Because that's usually kind of hard to find.
- 7:53Speaker 9: What is that? My wife said the other day.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 7:55Speaker 9: My wife said the other day, I ordered this brand
- 7:59Speaker 9: of shirt that I'm wearing right now, and I ordered
- 8:00Speaker 9: them all the time. I just got a new pair.
- 8:03Speaker 9: Bagging yesterday.
- 8:04Speaker 8: Did you finally find the perfect tee?
- 8:06Speaker 2: Did you?
- 8:06Speaker 9: For now, I'm used to it.
- 8:09Speaker 11: I thought Skims was in the running for you.
- 8:11Speaker 8: But he said Skims was too thin.
- 8:13Speaker 14: Well, we have the shirt. Rails has a cotton cashmere t-shirt.
- 8:16Speaker 14: I was wearing it yesterday, actually. And everything there is
- 8:19Speaker 14: so soft. I just, I love to just walk around
- 8:21Speaker 14: the store and feel everything.
- 8:23Speaker 13: I love a soft shirt.
- 8:23Speaker 11: And like, oh my God. And it's like, yeah, so
- 8:25Speaker 11: you might like those t-shirts actually, the cotton cashmere.
- 8:28Speaker 2: I'm going to go check it out then. I'm going
- 8:29Speaker 2: to rail.
- 8:30Speaker 9: I'm going to get.
- 8:31Speaker 18: Railed and railed.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Cotton cash.
- 8:32Speaker 13: Cotton cashmere.
- 8:34Speaker 9: Oh, thank you, Dylan.
- 8:36Speaker 5: Excuse me.
- 8:42Speaker 9: Hey, what's the vibe for Horoscopes today?
- 8:45Speaker 4: I'm letting you know what kind of lover you are
- 8:47Speaker 4: based on your zodiac sign.
- 8:49Speaker 13: And if it's your birthday today, you are a Libra.
- 8:52Speaker 4: And you share a birthday with Taylor Swift's husband, Travis Kelsey,
- 8:55Speaker 4: Kate Winslet, Bernie Mac, and Jesse Eisenberg.
- 8:58Speaker 13: Libras.
- 8:58Speaker 4: Kyle.
- 8:59Speaker 13: For you. You're the delusional serial romancer.
- 9:02Speaker 4: So peak Libra season means that you're addicted to the
- 9:06Speaker 4: idea of love, but not actually putting in the work.
- 9:09Speaker 4: You are stringing along like four different people who all
- 9:11Speaker 4: think that they're the one, and you are leaving a
- 9:13Speaker 4: trail of broken hearts while you decide who fits your
- 9:16Speaker 4: aesthetic better.
- 9:17Speaker 8: Until you find the one.
- 9:19Speaker 13: Exactly. They'll be there. Once you guys commit, you really commit.
- 9:24Speaker 13: That's true.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Let's say hi to Pam.
- 9:25Speaker 3: Hey, Pam.
- 9:27Speaker 12: Hi.
- 9:27Speaker 9: What's your sign?
- 9:28Speaker 12: Taurus.
- 9:29Speaker 4: All right, Taurus, for you guys, the kind of lover
- 9:32Speaker 4: that you are, you're low-key the possessive couch potato kind
- 9:37Speaker 4: of lover.
- 9:37Speaker 13: You don't want a partner. You just want a hostage
- 9:39Speaker 13: with cute clothes.
- 9:40Speaker 4: So once you claim someone, you drag them into your bed,
- 9:43Speaker 4: you feed them expensive takeout, and you get personally offended
- 9:45Speaker 4: if they suggest leaving the house for fresh air.
- 9:47Speaker 13: But you will never, I mean never, define the relationship.
- 9:54Speaker 9: Okay, thanks, Pam. Claudia, good morning. What's your sign?
- 9:59Speaker 14: Good morning.
- 10:00Speaker 8: I'm a Scorpio.
- 10:00Speaker 5: All right.
- 10:01Speaker 4: Scorpios, the kind of lover that you guys are is
- 10:06Speaker 4: the psychological warden.
- 10:07Speaker 13: You guys will skip basic dating and go straight for
- 10:10Speaker 13: soul possession.
- 10:11Speaker 4: You will dig up their entire internet history from like
- 10:13Speaker 4: 15 years ago, interrogate them about their exes, and then
- 10:16Speaker 4: hold their deepest secrets like collateral so they.
- 10:18Speaker 13: Can never leave you.
- 10:19Speaker 12: Yeah, that sounds about right.
- 10:21Speaker 7: Definitely calculating every move, but that takes away from being spontaneous,
- 10:25Speaker 7: but that's okay.
- 10:27Speaker 2: That's okay. You got to make sure the outcome works
- 10:30Speaker 2: in your favor, Claudia.
- 10:31Speaker 7: Yes, yes.
- 10:33Speaker 9: Thank you, Claudia. Have a great day.
- 10:35Speaker 12: You too.
- 10:35Speaker 5: Bye.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Hi.
- 10:36Speaker 9: Blanca.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Hi.
- 10:38Speaker 17: Hi.
- 10:38Speaker 9: What's your sign?
- 10:40Speaker 17: Sagittarius.
- 10:41Speaker 13: All right.
- 10:41Speaker 4: So for my Sagittarius, the kind of lover that you
- 10:43Speaker 4: guys are, you're kind of the flight risk.
- 10:46Speaker 13: You are passionate.
- 10:47Speaker 4: Like you are a passionate whirlwind lover right until the
- 10:49Speaker 4: moment where they ask you, what are we? Because the
- 10:52Speaker 4: second real commitment enters the building, you are suddenly getting
- 10:55Speaker 4: an inch to pack a bag and disappear to another
- 10:58Speaker 4: state for the entire weekend.
- 11:00Speaker 18: Man, that sounds like me.
- 11:03Speaker 2: So you.
- 11:04Speaker 5: Thanks, Blanca.
- 11:04Speaker 13: Hard to commit for you guys.
- 11:06Speaker 9: Thank you.
- 11:07Speaker 5: Bye.
- 11:08Speaker 9: How about Pisces? Rich.
- 11:09Speaker 4: Rich. You are the tragic main character lover. You will
- 11:12Speaker 4: fall in love with a stranger on the subway and
- 11:14Speaker 4: build an entire 10-year movie storyline in your head. You
- 11:17Speaker 4: love so dramatically that when a minor argument happens, you
- 11:20Speaker 4: act like it's a downfall of a royal kingdom.
- 11:24Speaker 2: I'm not saying any of that's not true.
- 11:25Speaker 13: It's like the world is ending. You don't love me.
- 11:29Speaker 9: How about Leo's?
- 11:30Speaker 13: Yeah, I'm a Leo.
- 11:31Speaker 4: We are the high-maintenance, trophy-seeker kind of lover. We love hard,
- 11:35Speaker 4: but we love an audience even more. So we're going
- 11:37Speaker 4: to treat our partner like an accessory for our Instagram grid,
- 11:40Speaker 4: demanding constant public praises, grand gestures, and undivided.
- 11:44Speaker 13: Attention at all times from them.
- 11:46Speaker 9: How about Virgo?
- 11:47Speaker 13: John Jay, you're the project manager.
- 11:48Speaker 4: You will fall in love with someone's potential and then
- 11:51Speaker 4: you will immediately start trying to fix their life, fix
- 11:53Speaker 4: their sleep schedule, reorganize what they're wearing and managing their
- 11:57Speaker 4: career like you're an underpaid life coach instead of a lover.
- 12:00Speaker 13: Like you should be.
- 12:01Speaker 5: Okay.
- 12:02Speaker 9: Thank you, Peyton. If you missed your sign, they're all
- 12:04Speaker 9: posted on our website, johnjayandrich.com. All right, Jen, so we
- 12:15Speaker 9: were talking about how to get out of the speeding
- 12:17Speaker 9: ticket and whether it worked or not, your excuse.
- 12:20Speaker 2: So, Jen, we know you got pulled over.
- 12:22Speaker 9: What was your excuse?
- 12:28Speaker 13: Okay, so I.
- 12:29Speaker 7: Have to give you a little bit of a backstory first.
- 12:32Speaker 7: So I'm driving a minivan, which I don't normally drive,
- 12:35Speaker 7: but we.
- 12:35Speaker 8: Had rented it to go to California.
- 12:37Speaker 7: And I had to go take the minivan back so
- 12:39Speaker 7: that I could get my other car. And I was
- 12:41Speaker 7: in a fight with my daughter, who was 13 years
- 12:43Speaker 7: old at the time. And I had my son in
- 12:45Speaker 7: the car with me, but my daughter was at home.
- 12:47Speaker 7: So her and I were in this huge fight, and
- 12:49Speaker 7: I needed to get.
- 12:49Speaker 12: Away from her.
- 12:50Speaker 7: And so I literally sped off in his minivan. And
- 12:53Speaker 7: the cop actually saw me speeding, and he flashed his
- 12:56Speaker 7: lights at me to basically tell me to slow down,
- 12:58Speaker 7: which just made me even more mad. So I sped up.
- 13:01Speaker 7: So he turned around.
- 13:02Speaker 8: And he got behind me, and I.
- 13:04Speaker 4: Slammed my brakes on.
- 13:05Speaker 2: He was on a motorcycle.
- 13:06Speaker 7: I slammed my brakes on. He almost went over my minivan.
- 13:09Speaker 10: Okay.
- 13:10Speaker 7: And he came up and he didn't know if he should, like,
- 13:12Speaker 7: draw his gun. He didn't know what to say. Like,
- 13:14Speaker 7: he was like, what the hell are you doing?
- 13:16Speaker 2: And I was bawling.
- 13:17Speaker 7: And I was like, my daughter's a spy.
- 13:20Speaker 2: And I can't ever go home. I would have written
- 13:24Speaker 2: you a ticket.
- 13:25Speaker 9: I would have written you a ticket.
- 13:26Speaker 2: He absolutely did not.
- 13:28Speaker 7: He turned off his body cam and spent the next
- 13:30Speaker 7: 20 minutes trying to counsel me.
- 13:31Speaker 19: Wow.
- 13:32Speaker 5: How nice.
- 13:34Speaker 13: That is really nice.
- 13:35Speaker 18: That's a good human being.
- 13:36Speaker 7: My son was sitting in the passenger seat. My son
- 13:39Speaker 7: was like, Mom, they're going to take you to jail.
- 13:41Speaker 7: What is wrong with you?
- 13:45Speaker 12: Wow.
- 13:45Speaker 20: Don't let him grow up.
- 13:46Speaker 13: Don't ever let him grow up.
- 13:48Speaker 7: I was a mess.
- 13:50Speaker 2: You poor thing.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Wow.
- 13:52Speaker 9: What a great story. All right, Jen, hold on. What
- 13:54Speaker 9: a great story. Dottie, all right, you got pulled over.
- 13:57Speaker 9: We just want to hear the excuse, and we're going
- 13:59Speaker 9: to guess whether you got out of it or not.
- 14:00Speaker 21: Well, actually, it's not that we got pulled over for speeding.
- 14:05Speaker 21: It was actually pulled over for a different reason. But
- 14:08Speaker 21: the excuse actually was just my husband got out of
- 14:11Speaker 21: the car. The cop asked him to get out of
- 14:13Speaker 21: the car to, like, go to the back of the
- 14:15Speaker 21: car to talk to him and stuff. And we had
- 14:17Speaker 21: just gotten ice cream cones from McDonald's, and it was hot.
- 14:22Speaker 21: And I think the officer just felt really bad because
- 14:27Speaker 21: my husband's ice cream cone was melting all over the
- 14:29Speaker 21: place and he was trying to eat it quickly so
- 14:31Speaker 21: that he could deal with them.
- 14:32Speaker 7: So, yeah, it was just a.
- 14:34Speaker 21: Very funny thing. And he knew that basically we made
- 14:38Speaker 21: a U-turn where we weren't supposed to. And my mother
- 14:40Speaker 21: was in the back seat and she said, you can't
- 14:43Speaker 21: make a U-turn here. And he's like, watch me because
- 14:45Speaker 21: it's like in the middle of the night. And he
- 14:47Speaker 21: did it, and we were all laughing, and then all
- 14:48Speaker 21: of a sudden the cop lights up.
- 14:52Speaker 5: Boo.
- 14:52Speaker 10: Okay.
- 14:53Speaker 21: Yeah, he's like, next time maybe listen to your mother-in-law.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Well, I mean, it sounds like you got out of it.
- 14:57Speaker 9: So you got out of it?
- 14:59Speaker 1: Yes, we did.
- 15:00Speaker 21: I think he felt bad for my husband because his
- 15:02Speaker 21: ice cream was literally all.
- 15:03Speaker 9: Over the place.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Yeah, she kind of tipped off the getaway.
- 15:06Speaker 9: All right.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Very good.
- 15:07Speaker 9: Well, thank you, Donnie. It's a great story.
- 15:09Speaker 2: Thanks for listening.
- 15:10Speaker 21: Have a great day, guys.
- 15:11Speaker 20: You too.
- 15:11Speaker 12: Bye.
- 15:21Speaker 2: So Time Magazine has come up with a list called.
- 15:25Speaker 9: The Time 100 Next List.
- 15:28Speaker 2: It's the next big thing.
- 15:29Speaker 9: These are the next big stars.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Yeah. Have you seen the list?
- 15:32Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 15:32Speaker 13: Well, it's like Drewski was the cover. Ray was on
- 15:35Speaker 13: one of them. She's awesome.
- 15:36Speaker 4: And then Ashley Padilla was the girl from SNL that
- 15:39Speaker 4: were the covers that came out.
- 15:40Speaker 9: Yeah. So I had this list, and there's people on
- 15:42Speaker 9: here that I don't know who they are, and some
- 15:44Speaker 9: of them I do know who they are. I know
- 15:45Speaker 9: who Ashley Padilla is. Ashley Padilla is under the category
- 15:50Speaker 9: of phenoms. She's a cast member of Saturday Night Live.
- 15:53Speaker 2: Pretty funny. Chase Infinity. Oh, one battle for what? She's amazing.
- 15:58Speaker 13: She is, like, so stunning.
- 16:01Speaker 9: Texas Longhorn quarterback Arch Manning, the nephew of Eli and
- 16:04Speaker 9: Peyton Manning, is on the list as phenom. Somber is
- 16:07Speaker 9: on the list.
- 16:14Speaker 5: I want you, but the mirror won't let me. I
- 16:18Speaker 5: try to be the person you're expecting, but I'm not ready.
- 16:28Speaker 5: I'm not ready.
- 16:29Speaker 9: Heron Ya from Bridgerton is on the list. I don't
- 16:32Speaker 9: know who that is.
- 16:33Speaker 8: Which one is Heron Ya?
- 16:35Speaker 9: Y-E-R-I-N-Ha. hearing yeah from bridget a.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Thorough explanation is not always an.
- 16:41Speaker 16: Excavating one you should not have been in the lake
- 16:43Speaker 16: anyhow the water is freezing.
- 16:44Speaker 8: It is in fact quite temperate and you should not
- 16:45Speaker 8: be swimming when you have been.
- 16:46Speaker 6: Unwell but if we are quite so concerned with shoots
- 16:49Speaker 6: then you should not have been spying.
- 16:50Speaker 2: I was most certainly not spying i think you were
- 16:52Speaker 2: i was not you surely were i was not so
- 16:54Speaker 2: you did not notice me i cannot help but notice.
- 16:56Speaker 9: You Peyton, you might know who this person is. 2026
- 17:01Speaker 9: WNBA Rookie of the Year.
- 17:03Speaker 13: Olivia Miles.
- 17:04Speaker 9: Olivia Miles is on the list.
- 17:06Speaker 8: TCU alum. Oh, she plays the newest love interest.
- 17:10Speaker 13: Not Olivia Miles, the girl from Bridgerton.
- 17:12Speaker 9: Year and Yacht.
- 17:14Speaker 13: That would be really weird if she was in there.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Under the category of artists, they have Alex Warren.
- 17:20Speaker 1: My loneliness left the room the second.
- 17:23Speaker 5: That you walked in. Something like that. See you next time. Bye.
- 17:42Speaker 9: I was a big fan.
- 17:43Speaker 5: Love him.
- 17:44Speaker 9: Charles Melton, who's in Beef Season 2.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Yeah, he's good.
- 17:48Speaker 9: Somebody from the TV show The Studio. Dominic Sessa from
- 17:51Speaker 9: The Holdovers. Pink Pantherous. Megan Marooney. Iris from The Pit.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Sarah Pigeon, who played... Carolyn Bissette from... Oh, the JFK Jr.
- 18:10Speaker 9: JFK Jr. show, yeah.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Leaders.
- 18:12Speaker 9: This is the category of leaders. This is Time Magazine's
- 18:14Speaker 9: next big 100 stars. Leaders is Ray is on there
- 18:17Speaker 9: because from Where Is My Husband. Senator Andy Kim. the
- 18:27Speaker 9: guy who got pepper sprayed by the ice agents. I
- 18:29Speaker 9: don't know who that is. Uh, Curry Barker, the writer
- 18:32Speaker 9: and director of the horror flick obsession.
- 18:34Speaker 6: Oh, the new one's going to be good too. It's about, uh,
- 18:36Speaker 6: these ghost hunters that, uh, his new movie that, you know,
- 18:39Speaker 6: go out and try to, um, make TV shows about
- 18:42Speaker 6: ghosts and they get in over their heads cause they
- 18:44Speaker 6: get a real ghost.
- 18:45Speaker 2: That's going to be awesome.
- 18:46Speaker 9: Another category of the next biggest 100 next thing is
- 18:49Speaker 9: for innovators like Drewski.
- 18:51Speaker 18: Yep.
- 18:52Speaker 9: Uh, Himish Patel from the Odyssey and Molly Gordon from
- 18:56Speaker 9: the bear. And Advocates is also on this list. Pop
- 19:01Speaker 9: star Troye Sivan is on this list.
- 19:03Speaker 13: I love Troye Sivan. I'm glad he's on there.
- 19:05Speaker 9: Ben Collins, the CEO of The Onion, is on this list.
- 19:09Speaker 9: That's a parody news site, right? And NASA astronaut Anna
- 19:13Speaker 9: Menon is on this list. Widows Bay creator Katie Dippold.
- 19:18Speaker 9: I don't get that show, man. Have you guys started it?
- 19:20Speaker 16: No, I think I watched part of the first episode,
- 19:24Speaker 16: and I couldn't really get through it.
- 19:26Speaker 9: I don't know if they're trying to be like stranger things,
- 19:28Speaker 9: but I don't know why it's called a comedy. I haven't,
- 19:29Speaker 9: I'm two episodes in and I haven't laughed and it's
- 19:31Speaker 9: hard for me to get through it. But anyway, so
- 19:33Speaker 9: those are like the next, the next, the time 100
- 19:36Speaker 9: next list. That's like some good stuff on that list.
- 19:40Speaker 10: Hey guys, it's time for stacks and hacks.
- 19:48Speaker 5: Yay.
- 19:49Speaker 9: I have stacks of it. and Rich has life hacks.
- 19:51Speaker 9: And the information I give you is just to take
- 19:53Speaker 9: on throughout the day. And maybe you'll go, wow, I
- 19:54Speaker 9: didn't know that. Like, I didn't know this until I
- 19:56Speaker 9: found out this morning. Olive oil, which I take every day,
- 20:00Speaker 9: by the way. Just eat it? Drink it. I drink
- 20:03Speaker 9: it every night before I go to bed.
- 20:04Speaker 12: Wow.
- 20:05Speaker 7: Okay.
- 20:05Speaker 9: I do like a shot glass, maybe more. I chug
- 20:07Speaker 9: it out of the bottle. It's supposed to be really,
- 20:08Speaker 9: really good for you.
- 20:09Speaker 13: Yeah, you should try the olive oil ice cream at
- 20:12Speaker 13: Salt and Straw.
- 20:13Speaker 9: Good idea.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Olive oil is actually juice.
- 20:16Speaker 9: Technically fruit juice since olives are a fruit. Ah. I
- 20:20Speaker 9: didn't know that.
- 20:20Speaker 3: Weird.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Just like Kyle's thing about ketchup.
- 20:22Speaker 8: But what is drinking olive oil supposed.
- 20:24Speaker 11: To do for you?
- 20:25Speaker 9: It has what's called polyphenols, Kyle. And it's really, really
- 20:28Speaker 9: good for you. The guy, Brian Johnson, who's supposed to
- 20:31Speaker 9: live to be 400 years old, he does it. So
- 20:32Speaker 9: I bought his olive oil and then I found a
- 20:34Speaker 9: better olive oil. So now I just do it and
- 20:36Speaker 9: I drink it every night.
- 20:37Speaker 16: When you say polyphenols, I'm supposed to know what that
- 20:39Speaker 16: does for me.
- 20:40Speaker 9: Polyphenols. I don't know what they are.
- 20:42Speaker 12: Okay.
- 20:42Speaker 9: But that's just something that they talk about all the time.
- 20:44Speaker 9: It's got a high amount of polyphenols.
- 20:45Speaker 2: I got a cousin named Polyphenol. It's really nice.
- 20:47Speaker 5: All right.
- 20:48Speaker 9: Many people use their cell phones in a destructive way
- 20:51Speaker 9: or disruptive way. And now there's a movement to ban
- 20:53Speaker 9: phones from fancy restaurants and bars and have a no
- 20:56Speaker 9: phone section like the old non-smoking sections.
- 20:59Speaker 2: I would totally do that. It's kind of cool.
- 21:01Speaker 9: It'd be cool to go with your family and say,
- 21:02Speaker 9: we're in the non-phone section and you got to check
- 21:04Speaker 9: in your phone. I like that. Tombstone Pizza. Sorry, Rich,
- 21:08Speaker 9: to steal food news from you.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Oh, no, that's quite all right. There's a big enough story.
- 21:11Speaker 2: It needs to be here.
- 21:12Speaker 9: Tombstone Pizza is offering limited edition kits where they're calling
- 21:15Speaker 9: the pizza nobody asked for. It's a frozen pizza with
- 21:18Speaker 9: packets of candy corn to sprinkle on top.
- 21:20Speaker 5: Oh. Ew.
- 21:20Speaker 4: I thought they would be pineapples on the top of
- 21:22Speaker 4: the pizza because nobody.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Asked for that.
- 21:24Speaker 9: I love pineapple on my pizza.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Yuck, I'm judging you. Candy corn on pizza, though.
- 21:27Speaker 9: Candy corn is gross. Okay. 70% of Americans prefer a
- 21:32Speaker 9: shoes-off household. Anybody in here do that? Yeah.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Are you serious?
- 21:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:37Speaker 6: Well, I mean, it's not, it's not like you've got
- 21:39Speaker 6: to take your shoes off. Like we've been to a
- 21:40Speaker 6: place like that, but nobody has their shoes on in
- 21:43Speaker 6: the house.
- 21:44Speaker 4: Like in general, we have, we wear shoes around the house,
- 21:47Speaker 4: but I will say like, if I go to someone's
- 21:50Speaker 4: house specifically, like if I go over, if I'm with
- 21:52Speaker 4: Kadeem and his family, I can't like, he's like, don't.
- 21:54Speaker 13: Wear flip flops.
- 21:55Speaker 4: Like make sure that you have shoes and socks on
- 21:57Speaker 4: in case we have to take our, our shoes off.
- 21:59Speaker 13: And I know he's never, it just never dawned on me.
- 22:01Speaker 16: My brother's a no-shoe house, and literally all of their
- 22:04Speaker 16: shoes are in their garage.
- 22:06Speaker 8: Like, they have shoe racks in their garage.
- 22:07Speaker 9: But they don't have barefoot in their house or socks
- 22:09Speaker 9: in their house?
- 22:09Speaker 8: They don't wear shoes in their house.
- 22:10Speaker 13: Well, they say that it brings, like, in all that
- 22:11Speaker 13: bacteria and stuff.
- 22:12Speaker 9: Who here in the studios got COVID? Ever caught COVID?
- 22:15Speaker 9: You did? Rich, did you get COVID?
- 22:17Speaker 2: No, I don't think so. We had it.
- 22:18Speaker 9: You had it?
- 22:19Speaker 13: Yeah, in our house.
- 22:19Speaker 9: I think the two are related.
- 22:21Speaker 13: What, if you wear shoes in your house and you
- 22:23Speaker 13: can get COVID?
- 22:23Speaker 9: You don't get COVID because you're so used to germs
- 22:25Speaker 9: in your body.
- 22:26Speaker 8: We wear shoes in our house.
- 22:27Speaker 9: I don't remember you guys getting COVID.
- 22:29Speaker 13: Yeah, we did.
- 22:30Speaker 9: Stove-top stuffing mix for pork does not have pork or
- 22:33Speaker 9: any other meat, dairy, or egg ingredient in its current list. Okay.
- 22:39Speaker 9: Stove-top stuffing mix for pork. No pork.
- 22:41Speaker 2: Well, it says mix for pork.
- 22:45Speaker 13: Or is it like the pork bouillon flavor seasoning?
- 22:48Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 22:48Speaker 9: Health specialists claim they can tell how well you are
- 22:52Speaker 9: aging by looking at one specific body part. Your tongue.
- 22:57Speaker 13: Hands or your neck.
- 22:57Speaker 9: Hold on. One at a time. Rich says what?
- 22:59Speaker 2: Tongue.
- 23:00Speaker 9: Peyton, you say what? Neck. Neck. Kyle, you say what?
- 23:02Speaker 13: Your hands.
- 23:04Speaker 7: No.
- 23:05Speaker 9: Let me read the whole article to you. Or not
- 23:07Speaker 9: the whole. Just the one word. Health specialists claim they
- 23:10Speaker 9: can tell how well you're aging by looking at one
- 23:12Speaker 9: specific body part. Your glutes.
- 23:15Speaker 3: Your booty.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Your booty.
- 23:16Speaker 4: Well, I want to know what, like, do they look
- 23:20Speaker 4: at the firmness?
- 23:21Speaker 13: Do they look at the jiggliness? Do they look at
- 23:22Speaker 13: the width?
- 23:23Speaker 8: The size?
- 23:24Speaker 13: The size?
- 23:25Speaker 9: You know what? Gotta shake it.
- 23:26Speaker 13: The amount of grabbingness it has? I need to know.
- 23:28Speaker 3: The talent?
- 23:29Speaker 2: How much motion?
- 23:30Speaker 13: What can that butt do?
- 23:31Speaker 2: How it looks in jeans?
- 23:32Speaker 13: Can it throw it back.
- 23:33Speaker 9: In a circle?
- 23:34Speaker 8: Make it clap?
- 23:36Speaker 9: Make it clap.
- 23:37Speaker 2: I'm a booty inspector. Well, what do you guys take
- 23:40Speaker 2: a guess? I'll look.
- 23:42Speaker 9: I'll find it. I didn't click on the article, but
- 23:43Speaker 9: I just like the headline, but I'll go back.
- 23:45Speaker 13: Hmm. Yeah, we want answers.
- 23:47Speaker 8: Yeah, because like genetically.
- 23:48Speaker 5: Let me.
- 23:50Speaker 8: Some people are not as inclined.
- 23:52Speaker 4: I know I've lost all this weight and literally it's
- 23:56Speaker 4: going from my butt first and it has been really
- 23:58Speaker 4: sad and I only remember because Kadeem calls me pancake
- 24:04Speaker 4: I'm like it's just like deflated it's still deflated it's
- 24:09Speaker 4: just sad right now it's like not giving the Kim
- 24:12Speaker 4: Kardashian champagne photo like it used to yeah Now it's
- 24:17Speaker 4: giving like.
- 24:18Speaker 9: Health specialists claim they can tell how you're aging by
- 24:19Speaker 9: looking at one specific body part of your glutes. Click
- 24:21Speaker 9: here for the full story. Here we go. Oh, pop-up ads,
- 24:25Speaker 9: pop-up ads.
- 24:26Speaker 8: Do you think they just wrote.
- 24:27Speaker 16: That because someone just wanted to look at butts all
- 24:29Speaker 16: day and they're like, it's an official study.
- 24:33Speaker 9: It's about your, the experts say you can try these
- 24:35Speaker 9: exercises at home. Stand up from a chair, get down
- 24:38Speaker 9: to the floor, back up, stand on your foot.
- 24:39Speaker 8: So it's probably like muscle mass in your butt.
- 24:41Speaker 9: Turn a full circle. So it must be the mobility
- 24:44Speaker 9: of your glutes and your hips. But it's too long
- 24:47Speaker 9: of an article to read.
- 24:47Speaker 10: Yeah, I hear that.
- 24:48Speaker 9: I was almost going to be like, because you've got
- 24:50Speaker 9: a big, banging, popping booty.
- 24:51Speaker 2: Yeah, let's just say that's what it is.
- 24:53Speaker 9: Did you guys see that GoFundMe of that old man?
- 24:54Speaker 9: It was a GoFundMe that raised over $ 700, 000 for an
- 24:57Speaker 9: elderly man who was retired, unretired, to take a job
- 25:00Speaker 9: delivering lost luggage back to people. There's a video of
- 25:03Speaker 9: him walking upstairs carrying luggage.
- 25:05Speaker 2: You guys didn't see that?
- 25:06Speaker 12: Oh, no.
- 25:06Speaker 2: That sounds so sweet.
- 25:07Speaker 13: Oh, it was pretty big.
- 25:07Speaker 9: They got a girl fund when you raised $ 700, 000, and
- 25:10Speaker 9: now they canceled it because they found out the daughter
- 25:12Speaker 9: pretended to be a stranger who posted the video online. Oh, man.
- 25:16Speaker 4: That's lame.
- 25:17Speaker 13: I bet he's still doing it.
- 25:18Speaker 5: Right.
- 25:18Speaker 2: He's still doing the nice thing.
- 25:20Speaker 13: But they feel like they are probably being conned or whatever.
- 25:22Speaker 4: It probably would have been different if it was like, hey, everyone,
- 25:25Speaker 4: my dad is struggling right now.
- 25:27Speaker 13: Help us out.
- 25:28Speaker 9: I saw it like a week ago, and I was like, oh, wow.
- 25:30Speaker 9: I saw the video everywhere. A newly identified frog-like creature...
- 25:35Speaker 9: that lived before the dinosaurs were discovered by a couple
- 25:37Speaker 9: of student scientists, and they got to name the frog.
- 25:40Speaker 9: And they named the frog after their moms. Both their
- 25:43Speaker 9: moms have to be called Gene. So the amphibian is
- 25:46Speaker 9: now going to be called Geniproton Mazinosis.
- 25:49Speaker 12: Oh, cute.
- 25:49Speaker 2: Isn't that nice?
- 25:50Speaker 8: Their moms are probably so proud.
- 25:52Speaker 9: What do you got for life hacks, Rich?
- 25:53Speaker 2: Who dis?
- 25:54Speaker 6: Allergies are pretty bad right now. Peyton, weren't you just
- 25:57Speaker 6: saying that you're feeling like the.
- 25:58Speaker 13: Yeah, I'm not feeling the best I've ever felt.
- 26:01Speaker 2: How old are the pillows in your house?
- 26:04Speaker 13: Oh, probably really old.
- 26:05Speaker 2: So check this out.
- 26:06Speaker 6: The reason you're sneezing so hard, you might be like
- 26:08Speaker 6: trying to chase down, oh, is it pollen in the air? Well,
- 26:11Speaker 6: it's all the stuff and it's not your sheets. It's
- 26:14Speaker 6: your actual pillow under the sheet that collects your skin cells,
- 26:18Speaker 6: your body oils in moisture, basically creating a nice little
- 26:21Speaker 6: home for dust mites and fungi, which can aggravate your
- 26:25Speaker 6: allergy symptoms. So before you hit up the Claritin or
- 26:27Speaker 6: the Zyrtec or whatever you're doing, go to Target and
- 26:31Speaker 6: get you a new pillow. Sleep on it tonight. They
- 26:34Speaker 6: say if you feel better tonight, then you know it
- 26:36Speaker 6: was your pillow. Switch out the pillow. That life hack
- 26:39Speaker 6: can be found at John J.
- 26:42Speaker 2: John J. John J. Rich.com. Jasmine, good morning.
- 26:55Speaker 20: Good morning, John J.
- 26:56Speaker 12: How are you guys?
- 26:57Speaker 2: Good.
- 26:57Speaker 9: How are you?
- 26:59Speaker 5: I'm good.
- 27:00Speaker 20: I was just calling because I have a crazy story
- 27:02Speaker 20: about the weirdest massage I've ever received in my life.
- 27:07Speaker 9: Is it recent?
- 27:08Speaker 5: No.
- 27:09Speaker 20: Yeah, so I live in Denver, so I don't know
- 27:12Speaker 20: if I can say the place I went, but I
- 27:15Speaker 20: went there because I wanted, like, a neuromuscular massage. I'd
- 27:19Speaker 20: never been there before, but, yeah, so I get there,
- 27:22Speaker 20: and this guy was cool, right? He said he has, like,
- 27:27Speaker 20: 20 years of experience, whatever. So, like, I prefer getting
- 27:30Speaker 20: massages from men because I feel like women are too, like, timid,
- 27:33Speaker 20: you know? They are, like, scared to really, like, get
- 27:36Speaker 20: in there. Um, but yeah, so I'm on the table,
- 27:41Speaker 20: I'm face down, like I have my shirt off, whatever.
- 27:44Speaker 20: And then I look up, this man has a shovel
- 27:48Speaker 20: in his hands. And, uh, I was scared, right? Like,
- 27:52Speaker 20: cause I was like by myself.
- 27:53Speaker 12: I'd never been here.
- 27:54Speaker 20: It wasn't like, it's something that I couldn't like get
- 27:57Speaker 20: out of the building fast or anything.
- 27:59Speaker 14: Right.
- 27:59Speaker 12: Cause it was like upstairs. But then I was like, um, Hey,
- 28:02Speaker 12: like what's that for?
- 28:04Speaker 5: Um, And.
- 28:07Speaker 20: So, like, he showed me.
- 28:08Speaker 12: Do you guys know what a gua sha is?
- 28:11Speaker 2: I do know.
- 28:11Speaker 9: Isn't that bat poop?
- 28:13Speaker 4: No, a gua sha is the thing that, like, you
- 28:16Speaker 4: put on your face that, like, takes out the inflammatory.
- 28:19Speaker 13: Like, you gua sha, John Jay.
- 28:20Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 28:21Speaker 9: I do?
- 28:21Speaker 3: Yes.
- 28:23Speaker 9: I do?
- 28:24Speaker 10: I don't think.
- 28:25Speaker 13: That thing, you know that roller thing?
- 28:26Speaker 2: Oh, the roller thing.
- 28:27Speaker 13: That's a gua sha.
- 28:27Speaker 9: Oh, I didn't know that.
- 28:28Speaker 16: I thought the gua sha was like, it's like something
- 28:31Speaker 16: sort of like that, but it's flat.
- 28:32Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 28:33Speaker 16: With like contour lines to like.
- 28:35Speaker 8: Go on your face.
- 28:36Speaker 13: It's a scraper?
- 28:36Speaker 8: It's kind of like the roller, but it's not the roller.
- 28:38Speaker 2: What is bat poop? I thought bat poop is gua sha.
- 28:40Speaker 2: It's like a scraper.
- 28:41Speaker 13: It's like a fruit.
- 28:44Speaker 4: Yeah. I was just saying, I feel like they're all kind.
- 28:47Speaker 3: Of- Guano.
- 28:48Speaker 8: Guano is bad poop. That's from Ace Ventura.
- 28:52Speaker 4: There's something that you put on your face to decrease inflammation.
- 28:56Speaker 2: So yeah, but she has a shovel.
- 28:57Speaker 9: When you said shovel, I picture the kind where you
- 28:59Speaker 9: take your foot and you're digging a hole and stepping
- 29:01Speaker 9: on it. You're saying a small shovel?
- 29:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 29:03Speaker 2: He had a full-size shovel.
- 29:04Speaker 20: No, it was like a shovel you would bury somebody with.
- 29:07Speaker 2: That's weird to have it a massage.
- 29:09Speaker 8: I would be like, is this a serial killer?
- 29:12Speaker 9: So go on, Jazzy.
- 29:13Speaker 20: I was really scared. And so like Gua Sha is
- 29:16Speaker 20: the flat one. And the eye rollers are like, yeah,
- 29:20Speaker 20: they're a little bit different. But yeah, so Gua Sha,
- 29:22Speaker 20: they have bigger ones for body massages, right? So he
- 29:25Speaker 20: pulled out a body massaging Gua Sha and compared it
- 29:29Speaker 20: to his shovel.
- 29:31Speaker 16: And he's like, you see this?
- 29:32Speaker 20: It's like the same thickness of the shovel. It's just
- 29:35Speaker 20: the shovel covers more surface area.
- 29:37Speaker 12: I was like, oh, okay, bet.
- 29:38Speaker 9: All right.
- 29:39Speaker 5: And.
- 29:40Speaker 7: bet.
- 29:41Speaker 12: And so I got massaged.
- 29:43Speaker 20: With a shovel and it was one of the best massages.
- 29:45Speaker 13: Really?
- 29:46Speaker 2: Wow.
- 29:48Speaker 11: Are you kidding?
- 29:49Speaker 5: Who knew?
- 29:50Speaker 1: Shovel massage.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Wow.
- 29:51Speaker 6: I'm a huge believer in the neuromuscular therapy. It's not
- 29:55Speaker 6: really a massage. It's like they work you. But it works, right?
- 29:59Speaker 6: But I've never seen a shovel come out. I've seen
- 30:01Speaker 6: rocks come out. I've seen cups come out.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Well, what's the name of the place? It's in Denver.
- 30:06Speaker 20: It's called Heavy Elbow Body Lure.
- 30:08Speaker 9: Oh, I thought you said it's called Home Depot.
- 30:12Speaker 17: No.
- 30:14Speaker 20: I mean, hey, if you're on a budget, maybe.
- 30:22Speaker 2: Well, thanks, Jasmine. Can't wait to try that out. Thanks
- 30:25Speaker 2: for calling in and.
- 30:26Speaker 12: Thanks for listening.
- 30:28Speaker 8: Y'all have a good day.
- 30:28Speaker 3: Bye.
- 30:40Speaker 2: Hello, Karen.
- 30:41Speaker 4: Hey.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Hey. What's going on?
- 30:44Speaker 18: So I need some advice.
- 30:47Speaker 9: Okay.
- 30:47Speaker 16: Okay.
- 30:49Speaker 18: So funny story. My aunt died, but that's not the
- 30:52Speaker 18: funny part.
- 30:53Speaker 2: That is funny.
- 30:57Speaker 7: So my aunt died, and.
- 31:00Speaker 18: She rode horses with her friends, and it was her
- 31:03Speaker 18: wish that that her ashes would be spread off of
- 31:07Speaker 18: horseback in the pasture that they used to ride in together,
- 31:10Speaker 18: which is a really great, majestic thought. But as a
- 31:15Speaker 18: horseman and a photographer for 25-plus years, it's kind of
- 31:20Speaker 18: like when someone comes to you and says, I want
- 31:23Speaker 18: a photo shoot done with me in my wedding gown.
- 31:28Speaker 18: It's not a good idea. It's a you-know-what show waiting
- 31:32Speaker 18: to happen. So I kind of figured this was going
- 31:36Speaker 18: to happen until I got my phone ready to video
- 31:40Speaker 18: this because I was not going to miss it. And
- 31:43Speaker 18: it was also a chance for me to say I
- 31:44Speaker 18: was right, so I wanted to make sure that.
- 31:46Speaker 2: Was on video, too. What do you think is going
- 31:47Speaker 2: to go wrong? A wind gust or something like that?
- 31:50Speaker 18: Anything, like anything from a plastic bag in the background
- 31:55Speaker 18: moving to a squirrel fart to any possible movement at
- 32:02Speaker 18: all that could... disrupt this horse's thought pattern as being
- 32:07Speaker 18: a decent animal. So especially when the woman gets on
- 32:11Speaker 18: the horse and right when she's getting on the horse,
- 32:13Speaker 18: she says to me, I just got this horse two
- 32:16Speaker 18: weeks ago and this is only my fifth time riding.
- 32:18Speaker 18: Hold on, let me press record. Let me make sure
- 32:21Speaker 18: I have this on record. And long story short, it
- 32:24Speaker 18: happened the way exactly the way that I thought it
- 32:26Speaker 18: was going to happen. Um, The bag of ashes or
- 32:30Speaker 18: whatever touched the horse wrong, and it kind of saw
- 32:33Speaker 18: it out of the corner of its eye, and it
- 32:34Speaker 18: started bucking, and the lady fell off.
- 32:38Speaker 17: Oh, no.
- 32:39Speaker 2: Is she okay?
- 32:39Speaker 7: She's fine.
- 32:40Speaker 2: Okay.
- 32:40Speaker 18: Yeah, she's totally fine. She's totally fine. So my question is,
- 32:45Speaker 18: I really, really want to post it.
- 32:46Speaker 5: Yes.
- 32:46Speaker 18: Because it's hilarious.
- 32:48Speaker 5: Yes.
- 32:48Speaker 18: And my aunt would have thought that it was hilarious
- 32:52Speaker 18: that her ashes ended up all over this... horse and
- 32:55Speaker 18: that her friend was on the ground.
- 32:56Speaker 19: It's funny it's funny it's funny but um i'm not
- 33:02Speaker 19: sure that the lady has that kind of sense of
- 33:05Speaker 19: humor the one that fell and she's not a huge
- 33:09Speaker 19: fan of mine.
- 33:10Speaker 18: Anyway so i kind of want to do it in
- 33:13Speaker 18: spite but i also kind of want to be respectful
- 33:16Speaker 18: a little bit it never shows her face never shows
- 33:20Speaker 18: her face you can't really identify her she would know
- 33:23Speaker 18: obviously And the people that were there would know.
- 33:26Speaker 9: Well, let me ask you this. Can you give it
- 33:29Speaker 9: to us and we post it?
- 33:31Speaker 18: Please.
- 33:35Speaker 16: Maybe.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Well, what the heck?
- 33:37Speaker 9: It's not like they're going to know. And then you
- 33:38Speaker 9: could just repost it and be like, oh, my God.
- 33:40Speaker 18: It would be much more obvious for her to get
- 33:43Speaker 18: a hold of that thing. viewing of social media i
- 33:48Speaker 18: know that it's her than that what i did that's
- 33:50Speaker 18: kind of like going way bigger than just i mean.
- 33:53Speaker 2: It's your aunt it's your aunt.
- 33:55Speaker 16: Yeah what's her relationship darn it like with your aunt
- 33:58Speaker 16: is this just like one of your aunt's friends or.
- 34:00Speaker 18: What yes it was a good friend of hers that
- 34:02Speaker 18: she rode horseback with i think family trumps friends yes.
- 34:07Speaker 9: I think you know i also think if she told
- 34:09Speaker 9: you if she said something to you she said hey
- 34:12Speaker 9: don't post it on.
- 34:13Speaker 2: Her own Oh, she did. Oh, damn it.
- 34:16Speaker 5: Oh, no.
- 34:17Speaker 2: Okay, okay. Damn it.
- 34:18Speaker 18: That was right after. But wait, wait, wait. That was
- 34:20Speaker 18: right after the incident. That was like she was still
- 34:23Speaker 18: trying to catch her breath and see that she didn't
- 34:26Speaker 18: break anything. Like she's like jokingly kind of like, oh, God,
- 34:30Speaker 18: don't post that on social media.
- 34:31Speaker 4: Okay.
- 34:32Speaker 2: You know what I mean? Would you ask her? Think
- 34:34Speaker 2: it was hilarious? Would you love it?
- 34:36Speaker 13: That's what she said.
- 34:37Speaker 5: Yeah. He would.
- 34:38Speaker 18: I'm pretty sure she did that. Right.
- 34:41Speaker 9: That was your aunt. That was your aunt slapping the
- 34:42Speaker 9: horse's ass.
- 34:43Speaker 2: So you got to do it. Yeah.
- 34:44Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 34:44Speaker 9: I think if the girl said the laughing only don't
- 34:46Speaker 9: post that, you should say, Hey, I've been thinking about it.
- 34:47Speaker 9: I'd like to post that video. Are you cool with that?
- 34:49Speaker 9: I think it'd be funny. John Jane rich. What?
- 34:51Speaker 13: But what if the friend says, no, you can't post it.
- 34:54Speaker 2: How much time has passed?
- 34:55Speaker 9: And you say, John Jane rich really liked the post.
- 34:57Speaker 9: I talked to them. They really want to post it.
- 34:59Speaker 9: It'd be great. I'd really like to do it. I
- 35:01Speaker 9: think you asked.
- 35:01Speaker 18: It's been, it's been about three weeks. Um, I've, It's
- 35:06Speaker 18: been really hard to wait three weeks.
- 35:08Speaker 3: Right.
- 35:09Speaker 9: I know.
- 35:10Speaker 18: Because, of course, I'm showing it to everybody I know.
- 35:12Speaker 5: Right.
- 35:12Speaker 18: And they are just on the floor rolling and laughing.
- 35:16Speaker 9: No, you've got to put it up. So you have–
- 35:18Speaker 9: it's like literally a shot like a movie. Like you
- 35:20Speaker 9: can see it perfectly because you had it.
- 35:22Speaker 18: Yeah, because I knew it was going to happen.
- 35:24Speaker 9: And you're a professional photographer, so it's going to look
- 35:26Speaker 9: really good.
- 35:26Speaker 4: Yeah, right.
- 35:26Speaker 1: So I was on it.
- 35:27Speaker 2: And then here's what I ended it with.
- 35:29Speaker 18: I even, like, when she fell on the ground and
- 35:31Speaker 18: everybody was running to her, I strategically followed the horse
- 35:36Speaker 18: because then it's poetic. It's a riderless horse at that point.
- 35:40Speaker 9: Very majestic.
- 35:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 35:42Speaker 18: So, like, of course I'm going to follow the horse.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Well, let me ask you something.
- 35:45Speaker 9: You said when you were setting the story up, you
- 35:47Speaker 9: said it's like being a photographer and a bride saying
- 35:50Speaker 9: she wants a picture in a wedding dress.
- 35:51Speaker 2: Isn't that normal?
- 35:52Speaker 9: Isn't that something people do? Because I've seen wedding dresses. Yeah.
- 35:55Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 35:57Speaker 18: That's totally a thing, and it never ends well.
- 36:00Speaker 2: How?
- 36:00Speaker 9: I don't understand.
- 36:01Speaker 2: I'm missing something. Because the horse takes off or whatever. Oh,
- 36:04Speaker 2: you mean on a horse.
- 36:06Speaker 9: Oh, on a horse. Oh, I thought you meant. I'm
- 36:10Speaker 9: sort of going, I've seen so many people get married
- 36:12Speaker 9: in their wedding dresses. It's fine to me. You meant
- 36:15Speaker 9: on a horse on a wedding dress.
- 36:16Speaker 16: I feel like this has sparked, like, an idea. I
- 36:19Speaker 16: want to hear, like, what are you holding on to
- 36:21Speaker 16: that you've been asked.
- 36:22Speaker 2: Not to post?
- 36:23Speaker 8: Because I have something. And I know us as a show,
- 36:25Speaker 8: we've got something.
- 36:26Speaker 12: What?
- 36:27Speaker 9: Oh, yeah, we got something.
- 36:29Speaker 8: We have something.
- 36:30Speaker 9: What do you got?
- 36:30Speaker 16: So I was on a girls' trip last year, and
- 36:33Speaker 16: we were all filming a TikTok together, and one of
- 36:35Speaker 16: my friends literally completely ate it, and she would not let.
- 36:39Speaker 8: Me post it, but it was so hilarious. We were
- 36:41Speaker 8: all laughing, and I'm like, no one's going to know.
- 36:44Speaker 14: Who you are.
- 36:44Speaker 8: It's not even.
- 36:46Speaker 18: If someone doesn't die, if someone does not die, then
- 36:49Speaker 18: what's the big deal?
- 36:50Speaker 8: And it wasn't incriminating. It didn't make her look bad.
- 36:53Speaker 11: It was just funny.
- 36:54Speaker 9: Okay, about five years ago, I was at a wedding.
- 36:57Speaker 9: It was an outside wedding. And when they introduced the
- 36:59Speaker 9: bride and groom, after they got married, they were holding hands.
- 37:01Speaker 9: They walked into a beautiful backyard, and the bride tripped
- 37:03Speaker 9: and fell. And I had it on my phone.
- 37:05Speaker 2: And she immediately walked in. Do not post that. That's
- 37:09Speaker 2: a gift. It's been five years now.
- 37:10Speaker 7: That's a gift.
- 37:12Speaker 9: Can I post it?
- 37:12Speaker 18: It is such a gift.
- 37:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 37:14Speaker 2: The fact that we have Karen, who is a photographer.
- 37:16Speaker 2: A photographer. And knew that this was going to go down.
- 37:19Speaker 2: We need that. And we need to put like, you know,
- 37:21Speaker 2: maybe place some Old Town Road behind.
- 37:22Speaker 18: Yeah, we got to see it. You know what I
- 37:25Speaker 18: put to it?
- 37:26Speaker 2: I put to it, regrets. I've had a few.
- 37:31Speaker 9: If you post your video, I'll post my video.
- 37:34Speaker 2: It's tempting.
- 37:36Speaker 5: Okay.
- 37:36Speaker 8: Oh, it's so tempting.
- 37:38Speaker 18: It's so tempting.
- 37:40Speaker 12: All right.
- 37:41Speaker 9: Thanks for calling in, Karen. Send us the video.
- 37:44Speaker 4: Okay.
- 37:45Speaker 2: And we promise we won't.
- 37:46Speaker 9: Just let us see it.
- 37:47Speaker 2: Okay, thanks, Karen.
- 37:48Speaker 16: Don't just listen to John Jay and Rich.
- 37:50Speaker 11: Be a part of the show.
- 37:51Speaker 2: Call 1-877-937-1047 to get on the air now. John Jay
- 37:53Speaker 2: and Rich.
- 37:57Speaker 8: Are we doing this again?
- 37:58Speaker 2: What's on the agenda for today? We've got a very
- 38:01Speaker 2: uplifting show today. You don't know what day it is,
- 38:04Speaker 2: do you? It's National Get Funky Day. Are you funky enough?
- 38:08Speaker 1: What do you mean, funky?
- 38:09Speaker 6: Now I'm lucky if I can find half an hour
- 38:11Speaker 6: a week in which to get funky.
- 38:13Speaker 2: Get funky with us?
- 38:14Speaker 13: I'm very funky.
- 38:16Speaker 9: Now take your position.
- 38:16Speaker 2: It should be a lot of fun. It's showtime. It's
- 38:19Speaker 2: National Get Funky Day.
- 38:21Speaker 9: So Billboard Magazine ranked the best funk songs of all time.
- 38:25Speaker 2: Oh, come on. Brickhouse.
- 38:27Speaker 9: Number seven, Brick House. That's such a great song. How's
- 38:31Speaker 9: that not number one?
- 38:32Speaker 2: Make my funk the beat funk.
- 38:33Speaker 9: I don't know that one.
- 38:35Speaker 2: G-funk.
- 38:36Speaker 9: Super Freaks, number three.
- 38:37Speaker 2: That's cake.
- 38:37Speaker 9: Tear the Roof Off the Sucker is number two. Tear
- 38:40Speaker 9: the Roof Off the Sucker. The number one best funk
- 38:43Speaker 9: song of all time is Mo Bounce to the Ounce.
- 38:46Speaker 16: Mo Bounce.
- 38:48Speaker 5: It's a good one. Mo Bounce.
- 38:50Speaker 6: I mean, if you're walking to the song, you must
- 38:54Speaker 6: have a strut.
- 38:55Speaker 5: Mo Bounce.
- 38:58Speaker 9: Pretty good song. You know, we haven't talked about our
- 39:04Speaker 9: Halloween costumes yet as a show. We kind of brainstormed
- 39:08Speaker 9: a little bit last week, and it made me think
- 39:10Speaker 9: of a lot of Kyle's Halloween costumes. And I don't
- 39:13Speaker 9: think you've done it on purpose, but they were always, like,
- 39:16Speaker 9: pretty sexy.
- 39:17Speaker 3: Right?
- 39:18Speaker 2: That's because it's Kyle. She can't help it.
- 39:20Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 39:20Speaker 8: So difficult.
- 39:21Speaker 5: Right.
- 39:22Speaker 9: So I guess if you're going to dress up for
- 39:24Speaker 9: Halloween this year, there's this.
- 39:29Speaker 2: Research.
- 39:30Speaker 9: That says here's what people are sick of. Americans say
- 39:33Speaker 9: the most played out Halloween costume is the sexy blank.
- 39:38Speaker 13: Oh, so pirate.
- 39:40Speaker 2: Pirate witch.
- 39:41Speaker 9: Sexy joker. Sexy whatever.
- 39:43Speaker 2: Don't do that.
- 39:43Speaker 8: Oh, it's just that in front of. Don't make any
- 39:45Speaker 8: costume sexy.
- 39:47Speaker 9: Yes, don't make it a sexy one.
- 39:49Speaker 2: Boring. Which I think is great. I mean, I think
- 39:52Speaker 2: you should be sexy.
- 39:53Speaker 7: I like those.
- 39:53Speaker 2: Those are fun to look at.
- 39:54Speaker 4: Halloween is like the one time a year that you
- 39:56Speaker 4: can have your everything out and no one's judging you.
- 39:59Speaker 2: That's true. I don't think Kyle can fight it, though.
- 40:01Speaker 9: Kyle's going to be a TSA agent. She's a sexy
- 40:03Speaker 9: TSA agent.
- 40:05Speaker 13: That actually would be a look.
- 40:07Speaker 8: That's a fun costume. Note to self.
- 40:11Speaker 2: TSA agent.
- 40:13Speaker 9: Did you guys watch the season finale of Lanterns last night?
- 40:16Speaker 9: I did. What did you think?
- 40:17Speaker 6: It was different than I expected because I was waiting
- 40:21Speaker 6: for a big explosive superhero ending and it was sort
- 40:24Speaker 6: of an emotional wrap-up. It's like– to me, it's like
- 40:29Speaker 6: a detective show where there are superheroes. It reminded me of–
- 40:32Speaker 6: what was that HBO detective show with Matthew McConaughey?
- 40:36Speaker 2: True Detective. It reminded me of that but except for
- 40:39Speaker 2: with superheroes.
- 40:39Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 40:40Speaker 2: I liked it. I thought it was pretty good.
- 40:41Speaker 9: You guys weren't into it, right?
- 40:43Speaker 13: I didn't start it.
- 40:44Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 40:44Speaker 9: I really, really liked it. And the season finale was
- 40:46Speaker 9: last night and it's a superhero thing. I watched it.
- 40:50Speaker 9: I thought it was, in fact, my brother-in-law came over
- 40:53Speaker 9: and he, he came over to my house last night
- 40:55Speaker 9: around seven. And that's when the show started. And I
- 40:58Speaker 9: started to have all kinds of anxiety. And I was like,
- 41:00Speaker 9: Hey dude, I won't be rude, but I got to
- 41:03Speaker 9: watch lanterns. So I was, I watched lanterns and, If
- 41:08Speaker 9: you watch lanterns, here's what I suggest doing. And I
- 41:10Speaker 9: don't know if you did this when it's over, they
- 41:12Speaker 9: roll the credits. When the credits are over, there's a
- 41:15Speaker 9: two minute video of the director and the actors talking
- 41:19Speaker 9: about the episode. And they explain a lot of stuff
- 41:21Speaker 9: that I didn't get.
- 41:22Speaker 2: Oh, really? I didn't see that.
- 41:23Speaker 9: I was like, whoa. And then it made the episode
- 41:25Speaker 9: so much better for me.
- 41:27Speaker 4: Oh, wow.
- 41:27Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 41:27Speaker 2: So my, yeah.
- 41:28Speaker 9: So anyway, uh, I highly recommend that if you watch it.
- 41:31Speaker 2: That's a good show.
- 41:31Speaker 6: It's a really good show. And I guess there'll be
- 41:33Speaker 6: a season two. There has to be, there has to
- 41:35Speaker 6: be season two. Uh, Phillip, what's up?
- 41:36Speaker 9: You're on the air.
- 41:38Speaker 15: Hi, yes.
- 41:39Speaker 9: I was.
- 41:41Speaker 15: Let's see.
- 41:44Speaker 7: I was.
- 41:44Speaker 15: My family lived next to Sharon Tate during the murders, and.
- 41:48Speaker 3: How about.
- 41:49Speaker 2: A little setup here, Phil? What are you calling for?
- 41:51Speaker 2: Charles Manson stuff? What are you.
- 41:53Speaker 9: You're calling for what? Like, you're listening to us. I
- 41:55Speaker 9: know you're probably in another city listening to a different
- 41:56Speaker 9: part of the show. What exactly are you hearing on
- 41:59Speaker 9: the radio?
- 42:00Speaker 12: Oh, okay.
- 42:01Speaker 15: So, my cheating death.
- 42:04Speaker 9: Oh, okay. Okay, yeah, we did that last week. But okay,
- 42:06Speaker 9: go ahead. Let's hear it.
- 42:08Speaker 15: Oh, I'm sorry, yeah.
- 42:09Speaker 13: That's okay.
- 42:09Speaker 15: So my family lived next to Sharon Tate in 1969
- 42:14Speaker 15: on Cielo Drive. And during that time, the Mansons went
- 42:20Speaker 15: up there and killed everyone. And my family lived right
- 42:23Speaker 15: next door. My dad said he'd never heard anything, never,
- 42:29Speaker 15: you know. But as soon as the news came out,
- 42:32Speaker 15: they all came to our house to use our phone because,
- 42:35Speaker 15: you know, There were no cell phones or anything, so
- 42:37Speaker 15: they used our phone to call the news outlets and everything.
- 42:41Speaker 15: It was pretty crazy.
- 42:43Speaker 9: Peyton, aren't you somewhat related to the Manson deaths? Can
- 42:45Speaker 9: you talk about it?
- 42:46Speaker 2: Well, yeah. Well, not related.
- 42:48Speaker 4: My grandma's childhood best friend growing up, her older sister,
- 42:52Speaker 4: Leslie Van Houten, was one.
- 42:54Speaker 13: Of the Manson murderers.
- 42:55Speaker 9: So she was in there.
- 42:57Speaker 13: So I have a weird infatuation.
- 42:59Speaker 2: Yeah, isn't that kind of why you went criminal justice?
- 43:02Speaker 4: That's exactly why I went criminal justice, because I grew up,
- 43:04Speaker 4: my grandma, we'd always drive to Sedona, and she would
- 43:06Speaker 4: just tell me all of these stories, and I just
- 43:09Speaker 4: was so amazed by it. And it totally is a
- 43:10Speaker 4: reason why I'm obsessed with Law & Order and all
- 43:12Speaker 4: things murder.
- 43:13Speaker 13: It's pretty creepy, actually.
- 43:15Speaker 9: I have a true crime trivia game I want to
- 43:18Speaker 9: play with everybody. I'm working on it right now.
- 43:19Speaker 2: Oh, that'd be interesting.
- 43:20Speaker 9: Exactly. I was going to watch. Did you see that show?
- 43:23Speaker 9: I think it's number one on Netflix movies is the
- 43:24Speaker 9: Widowmaker one. Did you see that one documentary?
- 43:26Speaker 2: No, I didn't. The guy, this guy's married six times.
- 43:30Speaker 2: Four of his wives have died.
- 43:32Speaker 18: Oh, that's suspicious.
- 43:32Speaker 8: That sounds very suspicious.
- 43:34Speaker 9: Yeah, I know.
- 43:35Speaker 2: I know.
- 43:35Speaker 9: I know.
- 43:36Speaker 2: He's got a way of beating the system.
- 43:38Speaker 9: It's fascinating.
- 43:39Speaker 2: Is he like a former cop or something?
- 43:40Speaker 9: I don't know. I haven't watched it yet, but I
- 43:42Speaker 9: saw the trailer.
- 43:43Speaker 2: That sounds terrifying.
- 43:44Speaker 9: I got to watch this. Anyway, we're going to need
- 43:47Speaker 9: a contestant for a minute to win it. 877- 937-1047.
- 43:53Speaker 2: But we are going to get into careers and jobs.
- 43:55Speaker 2: And I have to tell you the story.
- 43:56Speaker 9: I see this training that is so damn funny. This
- 43:59Speaker 9: guy's at a grocery store. He's shopping at a grocery store.
- 44:03Speaker 9: The manager of the grocery store comes out and says,
- 44:05Speaker 9: can I see you for a minute? He's like, okay.
- 44:07Speaker 9: He goes and sits down with the managers in the
- 44:09Speaker 9: manager's office. And she gives him his annual review. She
- 44:12Speaker 9: thinks he's an employee there. He's sitting there and she's like,
- 44:16Speaker 9: you know what? I think you need to get in
- 44:18Speaker 9: here earlier. I think you need to get whatever. He's like,
- 44:21Speaker 9: does his review. She reviews his whole career, his whole whatever,
- 44:25Speaker 9: and never asks his name or anything. Then he walks
- 44:27Speaker 9: out of her office and then he starts shopping and
- 44:31Speaker 9: she walks out. She's like, what are you doing? He goes,
- 44:33Speaker 9: I'm shopping. She's like, on the clock? And then he's like,
- 44:37Speaker 9: I don't work here. And so he posted a TikTok
- 44:42Speaker 9: video about it. And a lot of the comments from
- 44:44Speaker 9: the TikTok video, this is what I find so interesting,
- 44:47Speaker 9: are other people that were like, yeah, one time I
- 44:49Speaker 9: was in Target, and they were having a morning meeting
- 44:51Speaker 9: with their staff, and this person, get over here, they said.
- 44:54Speaker 9: And the person goes in there, and they're like, okay,
- 44:56Speaker 9: how are we going to take on the day? And
- 44:57Speaker 9: someone's like, you know, your shopping carts are really dirty.
- 45:00Speaker 9: And then people looked at him like, how dumb. the
- 45:02Speaker 9: balls on you that you would say that for the
- 45:03Speaker 9: management and then he was like I don't work here
- 45:06Speaker 9: oh my gosh.
- 45:06Speaker 4: Because they probably saw they were probably wearing like a red.
- 45:08Speaker 2: Shirt and they're like jeans or khakis or.
- 45:11Speaker 4: Whatever oh my gosh that's so funny I used to do.
- 45:15Speaker 9: This thing just for fun I would if I was
- 45:17Speaker 9: at a Target or Dick's Sporting Good I would ask
- 45:20Speaker 9: somebody where things were and wait for them to go
- 45:23Speaker 9: I don't work here oh okay but I did it
- 45:25Speaker 9: on purpose just to.
- 45:26Speaker 13: Make it uncomfortable that's so annoying why would you do.
- 45:29Speaker 9: That I also would like, I do that. And when
- 45:32Speaker 9: I'm driving somewhere in a parking lot looking for a
- 45:34Speaker 9: parking space and I see someone parking, get out of
- 45:36Speaker 9: their car. As they're getting out of their car, I
- 45:38Speaker 9: like to roll down my window and go, are you leaving?
- 45:39Speaker 9: And they're like, no, I'm not leaving. Oh, okay, my bad,
- 45:43Speaker 9: my bad. All right, we got a thousand bucks. We
- 45:46Speaker 9: got a thousand bucks to pay these money. Kirsten, good morning.
- 45:49Speaker 20: Good morning.
- 45:51Speaker 2: All right, can you hear us okay?
- 45:52Speaker 12: I can, can you hear me?
- 45:54Speaker 2: I got you perfectly.
- 45:55Speaker 9: What are you doing right now? Where are you?
- 45:58Speaker 20: I just got home from a workout, so my energy
- 46:00Speaker 20: is high.
- 46:01Speaker 2: What part of town are you in?
- 46:03Speaker 12: Phoenix.
- 46:04Speaker 9: What was your workout?
- 46:06Speaker 4: F45.
- 46:06Speaker 2: Ooh, I heard that's hard. She's not messing around.
- 46:10Speaker 9: Very intense, yeah. Every person I've ever met that goes
- 46:13Speaker 9: to F45 religiously is shredded. Oh, well.
- 46:19Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 46:19Speaker 12: I'll let that speak for itself.
- 46:21Speaker 9: I've seen the videos. Do you do box jumps and
- 46:24Speaker 9: all that?
- 46:26Speaker 7: Yes.
- 46:27Speaker 9: Yeah, that's good stuff. All right, let's go.
- 46:31Speaker 18: You got a chance at a thousand bucks here.
- 46:36Speaker 6: 60 seconds on the clock for you, Kirsten. Right now,
- 46:38Speaker 6: let's get these all right so I can give you
- 46:39Speaker 6: a thousand dollars. What is a baby kangaroo called?
- 46:44Speaker 12: Oh, okay.
- 46:52Speaker 9: You can't cuss when we're all live on the radio.
- 46:54Speaker 9: You get disconnected.
- 46:55Speaker 13: That's a bummer.
- 46:59Speaker 9: Do we take another contestant?
- 47:00Speaker 2: I mean, I think we should.
- 47:01Speaker 16: We didn't even get one question.
- 47:04Speaker 8: But it's got to be a different question.
- 47:06Speaker 9: We'll take another contestant.
- 47:08Speaker 8: What was the answer to that?
- 47:09Speaker 9: That was a joey.
- 47:11Speaker 8: Yeah, a kid is a goat, right?
- 47:13Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's right, a joey.
- 47:14Speaker 9: Sorry.
- 47:16Speaker 6: I should look down at my answer before I just
- 47:18Speaker 6: say that.
- 47:18Speaker 9: Real quick, hold up, hold up.
- 47:19Speaker 2: I mean, I had it on my page. I just
- 47:20Speaker 2: didn't look down.
- 47:21Speaker 9: We need another contestant. 877-937-1047. You cannot cuss. If you cuss,
- 47:27Speaker 9: you get dumped. All right, so you get a shot
- 47:30Speaker 9: at a thousand bucks here. Hello? Hi, John Jay Ridge,
- 47:33Speaker 9: who's this?
- 47:35Speaker 7: Cameron.
- 47:36Speaker 9: Cameron, are you calling for a minute to win it? Yeah.
- 47:39Speaker 9: All right, turn down your radio a little bit, okay?
- 47:42Speaker 18: All right.
- 47:43Speaker 9: Don't cuss. What part of town are you in?
- 47:46Speaker 15: I'm in a Mesa currently.
- 47:48Speaker 9: Oh, Mesa. I was going to bring up Mesa.
- 47:51Speaker 2: Oh, you know what happened?
- 47:52Speaker 9: Check this out real quick, real quick, Cameron.
- 47:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 47:55Speaker 9: Yeah. You know, Chris Powell, the bodybuilder, Chris Powell, this guy,
- 47:58Speaker 9: I saw him post a video of a rattlesnake in
- 48:01Speaker 9: the middle of his street.
- 48:02Speaker 19: Right.
- 48:03Speaker 9: And he lives in Mesa. And my wife and I
- 48:05Speaker 9: were in Tucson this weekend and we were hiking. And
- 48:07Speaker 9: I told her, I said, I saw Chris Powell post
- 48:09Speaker 9: this video of this rattlesnake. And I was like, And
- 48:13Speaker 9: they're in Mesa, like in a town of a million people.
- 48:16Speaker 9: We're in the middle of nowhere in Tucson and it's
- 48:18Speaker 9: kind of hot and sunny. I was like, we shouldn't
- 48:20Speaker 9: be hiking. And then she screams at the top of
- 48:23Speaker 9: her lungs and pushes me back because she's in front
- 48:24Speaker 9: of me. And there was a stick.
- 48:28Speaker 2: Not a rattlesnake. False alarm.
- 48:30Speaker 13: Sometimes you see things when you're talking about it.
- 48:33Speaker 5: I know.
- 48:33Speaker 13: I know.
- 48:34Speaker 2: Anyway, Cameron. She protected you, though, from that stick.
- 48:37Speaker 9: But in her defense, it was like a snake hole,
- 48:40Speaker 9: and the stick was in the hole. Oh, sorry.
- 48:42Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah. So when she pointed it out, I was.
- 48:44Speaker 1: Like, oh, yeah.
- 48:44Speaker 13: I get it.
- 48:45Speaker 9: But I was, like, done with my hiking after that.
- 48:47Speaker 9: I was like, I don't want to hike anymore.
- 48:49Speaker 2: All right, Cameron. You got a shot at $ 1, 000. You
- 48:51Speaker 2: ready to go?
- 48:53Speaker 3: I'm ready.
- 48:54Speaker 9: Let's go.
- 48:54Speaker 16: John Jay and Rich have $ 1, 000 cash for you from
- 48:57Speaker 16: Peoria Ford right now.
- 48:59Speaker 21: Minute to win it.
- 49:00Speaker 2: Okay, here we go, Cameron. 60 seconds on the clock.
- 49:02Speaker 2: Get all 10 right and you win.
- 49:04Speaker 9: $ 1, 000.
- 49:05Speaker 2: What U.S. state is nicknamed the Grand Canyon State?
- 49:10Speaker 13: Arizona.
- 49:12Speaker 6: What pop artist sings songs like Risk It All and
- 49:15Speaker 6: Uptown Funk?
- 49:17Speaker 9: Bruno Mars.
- 49:19Speaker 2: After Neil Armstrong, Arizona.
- 49:10Speaker 7: Bruno Mars.
- 49:12Speaker 2: Buzz Aldrin.
- 49:12Speaker 17: Texas.
- 49:12Speaker 12: Oh, Dallas. Finland.
- 49:40Speaker 2: What actor played Maximus in the 2000 movie Gladiator? Russell Crowe.
- 49:46Speaker 6: Susan Collins or Suzanne Collins wrote what best-selling book series?
- 49:52Speaker 12: Oh.
- 49:52Speaker 7: I don't know that one.
- 49:58Speaker 2: Just take a guess. You're rolling.
- 50:00Speaker 3: Susan Collins, best-selling.
- 50:08Speaker 2: Got to run out of time.
- 50:09Speaker 15: Yeah, I'm through playing.
- 50:12Speaker 9: You hustled, though. That was good. How many did you get?
- 50:14Speaker 13: Six?
- 50:15Speaker 2: Is that the Verity lady?
- 50:16Speaker 9: Verity?
- 50:17Speaker 13: No, that's the Hunger Games.
- 50:18Speaker 2: Hunger Games.
- 50:19Speaker 9: I would have been out too, dog.
- 50:20Speaker 8: I would never have gotten that.
- 50:21Speaker 13: I'm so excited for that new Hunger Games to come out.
- 50:23Speaker 2: It should be cool.
- 50:24Speaker 13: I know, like just a couple weeks.
- 50:25Speaker 9: Cameron, we're going to set you up with the Del
- 50:26Speaker 9: Taco gift card, man. Thanks for playing. Awesome.
- 50:30Speaker 15: Thank you.
- 50:30Speaker 2: Smart guy, though. You can tell he was whipping through them.
- 50:32Speaker 9: Thanks for not cussing.
- 50:33Speaker 15: Yeah, I actually had brunch with Peyton after Pride last year.
- 50:37Speaker 8: Oh, my gosh.
- 50:39Speaker 4: Yes.
- 50:40Speaker 13: That was so fun. How are you, Cameron? I hope
- 50:42Speaker 13: you're great.
- 50:43Speaker 9: Doing good, Peyton.
- 50:44Speaker 2: I hope you're doing good, too.
- 50:45Speaker 9: By the way, Cameron, speaking of, Love Pup will be
- 50:48Speaker 9: in the Pride Parade this Sunday. Are you going to
- 50:49Speaker 9: be there?
- 50:51Speaker 2: Absolutely. Good.
- 50:52Speaker 9: Look for us.
- 50:53Speaker 15: I'll scream out again.
- 50:54Speaker 9: Yay!
- 50:54Speaker 5: All right.
- 50:55Speaker 9: Hold on, Cameron. Yeah, walking in the Pride Parade this
- 50:58Speaker 9: Sunday with Love Pup.
- 51:01Speaker 2: That was a tough one.
- 51:03Speaker 13: I know.
- 51:03Speaker 8: I was like, I would never get this in Peyton.
- 51:05Speaker 8: Peyton knew right away.
- 51:06Speaker 2: They do get tougher.
- 51:07Speaker 9: By the way, how is Verity, Peyton? I know it's
- 51:09Speaker 9: the number one movie at the box office. How was it?
- 51:11Speaker 4: I really liked Verity. I feel like it's getting drug online.
- 51:16Speaker 4: I do, but I feel like it's from all like
- 51:17Speaker 4: the book people. And I read the book Verity and
- 51:20Speaker 4: I thought the book was good, but I also thought
- 51:22Speaker 4: the movie was good. There was two major pop culture
- 51:24Speaker 4: references that made Verity feel like she was like a
- 51:28Speaker 4: real celebrity in this life.
- 51:29Speaker 2: You know?
- 51:30Speaker 9: Well, I don't know the story of Verity. What do
- 51:31Speaker 9: you mean a real celebrity?
- 51:33Speaker 13: So Verity is an author.
- 51:35Speaker 9: That's her name.
- 51:35Speaker 13: That's her name. It's Verity Crawford. And she is an author.
- 51:38Speaker 4: And basically the premise of the movie is Verity, who
- 51:42Speaker 4: is played by Anne Hathaway. She gets into a car
- 51:44Speaker 4: accident and she can no longer finish her book deal
- 51:47Speaker 4: that she's doing.
- 51:48Speaker 13: She's an author.
- 51:48Speaker 12: Right.
- 51:49Speaker 4: So they go and find Lohan, who is played by
- 51:52Speaker 4: Dakota Johnson. She is basically an underground kind of author
- 51:57Speaker 4: who hasn't really been discovered yet, but writes in the
- 51:59Speaker 4: same kind of genre that Verity does. So Josh Hartnett's character, Jeremy,
- 52:03Speaker 4: who is Verity's husband, goes and finds Loen to help
- 52:07Speaker 4: finish Verity's book series because she's basically like.
- 52:09Speaker 13: She can't talk, she can't move, she can't do anything.
- 52:11Speaker 3: Oh, really?
- 52:12Speaker 9: She can't talk or anything?
- 52:13Speaker 4: Yeah, so basically it kind of comes in. Dakota Johnson's
- 52:16Speaker 4: character moves into the house with Verity and Jeremy. And
- 52:20Speaker 4: some weird things happen.
- 52:21Speaker 9: They hook up probably.
- 52:23Speaker 13: Well, yeah, Dakota.
- 52:24Speaker 4: Johnson and Jeremy, they fall in love. You see that happening.
- 52:28Speaker 4: It's kind of a thriller. It keeps you on your toes.
- 52:30Speaker 4: But really what has people divided is are you team
- 52:34Speaker 4: manuscript or are you team letter? And so team manuscript
- 52:38Speaker 4: is a big part of the book where Verity, Dakota
- 52:41Speaker 4: Johnson's character, finds a manuscript of Verity which kind of
- 52:45Speaker 4: portrays what kind of person she is. And at the
- 52:47Speaker 4: end of the movie, it kind of leaves you questioning like, okay,
- 52:50Speaker 4: which story do I believe?
- 52:52Speaker 2: Oh, does it end like stupid?
- 52:55Speaker 13: I enjoyed the ending.
- 52:57Speaker 2: Is that what people are dragging?
- 52:58Speaker 4: What I really loved about the movie is that I
- 53:01Speaker 4: left the theater team letter, where when I finished reading
- 53:04Speaker 4: the book, I was team manuscript.
- 53:06Speaker 2: Oh, that's interesting.
- 53:07Speaker 13: So I enjoyed that.
- 53:08Speaker 9: Well, Dakota Johnson was the host of Saturday Night Live.
- 53:12Speaker 9: And in her monologue, she says something about how she
- 53:14Speaker 9: makes out with Anne Hathaway.
- 53:15Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 53:16Speaker 9: So how does that happen? If she's like, so she can't,
- 53:18Speaker 9: she's like paralyzed from the eyes down.
- 53:20Speaker 13: She was in a trance.
- 53:21Speaker 4: That was one of the things that Dakota Johnson was
- 53:23Speaker 4: kind of seeing things.
- 53:24Speaker 2: That was like, Oh, it's like a fantasy.
- 53:26Speaker 9: It's not, it didn't really happen.
- 53:27Speaker 13: Yeah, it didn't really happen.
- 53:28Speaker 9: It didn't happen in the, in the, so one of
- 53:30Speaker 9: them is fantasizing about making out with Anne Hathaway.
- 53:32Speaker 4: Not necessarily fantasizing, like, Dakota Johnson is terrified of Anne
- 53:36Speaker 4: Hathaway's character. And so as she's making out with her husband,
- 53:41Speaker 4: she opens up her eyes and it's Anne Hathaway. But
- 53:45Speaker 4: she got to make out with him for hours because
- 53:47Speaker 4: that was the scene in the movie.
- 53:49Speaker 9: Why is she terrified? You know, it's funny. When I
- 53:50Speaker 9: was reading what it was about the other day, it
- 53:53Speaker 9: said something about how Anne Hathaway's character is incapacitated. And
- 53:57Speaker 9: I wasn't sure what that meant. So it means that
- 53:59Speaker 9: she's paralyzed? So why is Dakota Johnson afraid of her
- 54:03Speaker 9: if she's paralyzed?
- 54:04Speaker 4: Because Dakota Johnson, throughout the movie, she's like, she's not paralyzed.
- 54:08Speaker 13: She's faking it.
- 54:10Speaker 5: Oh.
- 54:10Speaker 2: So she's not paralyzed. Now it's getting good.
- 54:12Speaker 18: I'm not telling you.
- 54:13Speaker 13: Go watch the movie. Because that's a spoiler.
- 54:15Speaker 9: She's fake paralyzed.
- 54:16Speaker 2: Oh, that's good. Maybe.
- 54:17Speaker 4: Is it not?
- 54:18Speaker 2: I don't know. Oh, Verity.
- 54:20Speaker 9: That is Verity good.
- 54:21Speaker 4: It was a really good movie, and it was a
- 54:23Speaker 4: really good book, and I feel like... A lot of
- 54:26Speaker 4: people are like, well, they skipped over so much stuff.
- 54:27Speaker 4: And I'm like, yeah, well, it's an hour and a
- 54:29Speaker 4: half movie, not a 400-page book. Of course things are
- 54:32Speaker 4: going to be right.
- 54:32Speaker 9: I want to know if anyone saw Digger, the Tom
- 54:34Speaker 9: Cruise movie. Doesn't sound like it. It's like the worst
- 54:39Speaker 9: opening he's ever had or something like that.
- 54:40Speaker 6: Yeah, and they made like a big IMAX push on that.
- 54:42Speaker 6: They spent a lot of money. I think they spent
- 54:44Speaker 6: like $ 200 million on that movie.
- 54:45Speaker 8: He did so much promotion for it, too.
- 54:47Speaker 9: I saw somebody post on Instagram saying, I went to
- 54:51Speaker 9: go see the new Tom Cruise movie, Digger. I cannot
- 54:53Speaker 9: sit through it again. And they wouldn't say why, but
- 54:57Speaker 9: they didn't say it was bad. It was almost like,
- 54:59Speaker 9: I thought maybe because it was like, you guys ever
- 55:01Speaker 9: watch the movie Braveheart? Braveheart is a movie that I
- 55:04Speaker 9: cannot sit through again.
- 55:05Speaker 2: I get that.
- 55:05Speaker 9: It was so brutal at the end. I just don't
- 55:08Speaker 9: want to sit through that again. So it was like,
- 55:09Speaker 9: I thought that's what he meant with Digger. I thought
- 55:12Speaker 9: Digger was maybe like that, but not.
- 55:14Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 55:15Speaker 9: So I want to know if someone saw it. But
- 55:16Speaker 9: I've seen every Tom Cruise movie ever.
- 55:19Speaker 2: And so I'm kind of bummed out.
- 55:20Speaker 8: Will you see this eventually?
- 55:22Speaker 9: When it comes out on the streams.
- 55:23Speaker 2: On the streams?
- 55:24Speaker 9: In the streams. Yeah, like I thought about the other day,
- 55:26Speaker 9: I haven't seen Toy Story 5 yet, and that's out now.
- 55:28Speaker 18: Oh, is it?
- 55:29Speaker 13: That was a good one.
- 55:31Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 55:31Speaker 9: Anyway. What am I getting to? Where's that job thing
- 55:35Speaker 9: I was going to get to? Hold on a second.
- 55:37Speaker 9: I have so many things. Oh, here we go. I
- 55:39Speaker 9: want to get into jobs that are romanticized, but actually suck. Okay?
- 55:47Speaker 2: Oh, I would think like a lawyer or a doctor. Yeah.
- 55:49Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 55:50Speaker 9: Let me give you an example. A chef.
- 55:52Speaker 12: Oh.
- 55:54Speaker 9: Creativity sounds fun. 12-hour shifts, low pay, stress, and aching
- 55:58Speaker 9: feet do not. So when you think about, oh, I'm
- 56:01Speaker 9: going to.
- 56:02Speaker 2: Be a chef.
- 56:03Speaker 6: That's basically every single Hallmark movie. Somebody's a chef or
- 56:06Speaker 6: trying to open up a bakery.
- 56:08Speaker 2: I remember Emily in Paris.
- 56:09Speaker 9: Remember she was dating the dude? And also, the show
- 56:14Speaker 9: you watched, The Bear. It does not look like a
- 56:16Speaker 9: fun job to do.
- 56:18Speaker 2: So I got more.
- 56:18Speaker 5: 877-937-1047.
- 56:21Speaker 9: What's a job that's romanticized but actually sucks? Take a guess. Also,
- 56:25Speaker 9: pay your bills is back. Your next keyword in less
- 56:27Speaker 9: than 20 minutes. We got $ 1, 000. Could be yours. That
- 56:31Speaker 9: is next with John Jane Rich.
- 56:32Speaker 13: Don't you give up?
- 56:33Speaker 5: Nah, nah, nah.
- 56:34Speaker 13: I won't give up.
- 56:35Speaker 5: Nah, nah, nah.
- 56:37Speaker 11: Let me love you.
- 56:40Speaker 9: Let me love you. I was just reading this article
- 56:45Speaker 9: about this lady that went to an estate sale and
- 56:48Speaker 9: saw a little painting. bought it for 30 bucks and
- 56:52Speaker 9: sold it for 1.3 million. I'm cleaning out my garage
- 56:57Speaker 9: and I'm finding all this stuff that my dad, like
- 56:58Speaker 9: my dad's old paintings and stuff. I'm like, what are these?
- 57:01Speaker 9: How do you know? How do you know that the
- 57:03Speaker 9: thing you've like, who do you take it to find out?
- 57:06Speaker 2: Apparently because that's where they find all those things.
- 57:08Speaker 9: This had nothing to do with antique roadshow. Like how
- 57:10Speaker 9: do you find, how do.
- 57:10Speaker 16: You, you need someone who maybe works at like a
- 57:13Speaker 16: pawn shop or something to come analyze everything in your garage.
- 57:18Speaker 9: Cause I would sell everything. If I was getting that,
- 57:20Speaker 9: I don't care. I don't care if it's emotional with
- 57:22Speaker 9: my dad at it. Clara.
- 57:24Speaker 2: Clara, hi.
- 57:27Speaker 12: Hi, guys. Good morning.
- 57:28Speaker 9: Hey, so what job is romanticized but in real life
- 57:32Speaker 9: actually sucks?
- 57:34Speaker 12: Undercover investigator.
- 57:36Speaker 2: Is that you?
- 57:38Speaker 5: Yes.
- 57:39Speaker 2: Go on.
- 57:40Speaker 9: I've always wanted, like, 21 Jump Street?
- 57:43Speaker 12: Yeah, something like that.
- 57:46Speaker 9: Like, just.
- 57:47Speaker 12: Crazy hours, no work-life balance, and it's just dangerous situations
- 57:53Speaker 12: that are, you're like, someone can probably grab me and
- 57:59Speaker 12: make me disappear, and no one would even know that
- 58:01Speaker 12: I was here or that I'm supposed to be here. So, yeah,
- 58:04Speaker 12: pretty crazy.
- 58:05Speaker 9: I've got to tell you, I'm going to disagree with
- 58:06Speaker 9: you because I've always wanted to do that.
- 58:07Speaker 16: We're just telling you it's not a disclaimer.
- 58:11Speaker 9: Tell us, like, what undercover have you done? As what?
- 58:17Speaker 12: I mean, I would pretend to be, you know, a
- 58:20Speaker 12: junkie or a prostitute just to get information. And that
- 58:25Speaker 12: would lead to leads and it would lead to, you know,
- 58:30Speaker 12: opening cases up and going into investigations. And I would
- 58:33Speaker 12: have to work those leads. So it was, you know,
- 58:37Speaker 12: so you have to work. You can't work a regular
- 58:40Speaker 12: nine to five because.
- 58:41Speaker 2: No, that's true.
- 58:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 58:43Speaker 7: And then.
- 58:44Speaker 12: And then I'm trying to keep up with, like, okay,
- 58:47Speaker 12: what was my name again?
- 58:48Speaker 4: Wow.
- 58:50Speaker 9: No, I get it now when you say it like that.
- 58:52Speaker 6: Is it kind of a bummer that you get typecast, Clara?
- 58:55Speaker 6: Because it's like, why do I always have to be
- 58:57Speaker 6: a junkie or a prostitute? Can't I be, like, an
- 58:59Speaker 6: elite businesswoman on a private jet?
- 59:02Speaker 2: I know, right?
- 59:04Speaker 12: But I kind of chose my role, you know. I'm, like,
- 59:07Speaker 12: in in these, uh, areas that are not very safe. So, okay.
- 59:12Speaker 12: I'm like, I'm on the thinner side. Um, you know,
- 59:15Speaker 12: I was breaking out at the time. So, you know,
- 59:17Speaker 12: and then I had a, like, I had a heat
- 59:19Speaker 12: rash one time. So I was like, okay, perfect. I can,
- 59:22Speaker 12: you know, play the role here and say, you know,
- 59:25Speaker 12: I got, you know, I'm a junkie and it looked
- 59:28Speaker 12: like I was playing the role pretty good, but definitely
- 59:32Speaker 12: not glamorous. John, do you would love it because you're
- 59:34Speaker 12: always by yourself and you would never have to interact
- 59:37Speaker 12: with colleagues and you're alone most of the time. And so, yeah, I.
- 59:44Speaker 9: Would be unsuccessful prostitute.
- 59:47Speaker 2: People just drive by.
- 59:48Speaker 9: I don't think so. So did you start off like
- 59:51Speaker 9: you became like a street cop and then work your
- 59:52Speaker 9: way up to detective and then undercover? Is that how
- 59:54Speaker 9: it works?
- 59:56Speaker 15: Yes.
- 59:56Speaker 12: Kind of. And yes. So very similar to that. Um,
- 1:00:00Speaker 12: I don't want to get into Pacific specifics, but yes.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: Are you a cop still?
- 1:00:05Speaker 18: No, no, no.
- 1:00:06Speaker 13: I am.
- 1:00:07Speaker 12: I'm now working for the government, but I, now I, I,
- 1:00:12Speaker 12: I had to pick and choose, you know, I'm like,
- 1:00:15Speaker 12: all right, I got to take one for the team and,
- 1:00:16Speaker 12: and look for a different career field for the family.
- 1:00:20Speaker 12: I had children and, And I was like, okay, I
- 1:00:24Speaker 12: can't be a pregnant prostitute.
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: Well, I mean.
- 1:00:27Speaker 9: When you were a prostitute, though, when you were a
- 1:00:29Speaker 9: fake undercover cop prostitute, did you have a thing, like
- 1:00:32Speaker 9: when a car would pull up, did you say, hey,
- 1:00:33Speaker 9: $ 50 to make you hot? Did you have a thing,
- 1:00:35Speaker 9: like a sales pitch that you'd yell at people?
- 1:00:38Speaker 12: I would always just want to... I would always try
- 1:00:41Speaker 12: to see what they had, so if they had... I
- 1:00:45Speaker 12: tried to... stay in the area of like, okay, are
- 1:00:49Speaker 12: they dealing drugs or what is their poison here to try?
- 1:00:52Speaker 12: So I always try to, I wasn't like soliciting John,
- 1:00:56Speaker 12: you know, I was trying to find who had the
- 1:00:59Speaker 12: goods and what kind of goods.
- 1:01:01Speaker 19: And then at what.
- 1:01:02Speaker 9: Point do you bust them?
- 1:01:05Speaker 12: I don't bust them. I keep my, my role going
- 1:01:10Speaker 12: all the way, all the way. And I, you know,
- 1:01:13Speaker 12: I would record them and, and provide the videos to
- 1:01:18Speaker 12: the investigators that are investigating on the other side of it.
- 1:01:25Speaker 12: So I would just continue. So they say, okay, next
- 1:01:28Speaker 12: time I need you to try to get this or
- 1:01:32Speaker 12: try to get that. So I would never, for safety
- 1:01:36Speaker 12: reasons also, I'm never going to disclose. I'm not going
- 1:01:39Speaker 12: to bust anybody. As an undercover, you always want to
- 1:01:43Speaker 12: make sure you're going to continue all the way you can.
- 1:01:46Speaker 12: And they don't know it was you. As far as
- 1:01:48Speaker 12: they know, you're just a prostitute.
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:01:51Speaker 9: Thank you for calling in and letting us know. That
- 1:01:53Speaker 9: is very interesting, Clara. Very interesting. Thank you so much
- 1:01:57Speaker 9: for doing what you do, I guess, and busting all
- 1:02:00Speaker 9: of Rich's relatives.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: Creasy Tony says, hey. It was jobs that.
- 1:02:06Speaker 9: Are romanticized but actually suck.
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: Next on the list. A zookeeper.
- 1:02:12Speaker 12: Oh.
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: Why is that not awesome?
- 1:02:13Speaker 9: Less cuddling baby animals, more shoveling poop.
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: And cleaning enclosures.
- 1:02:17Speaker 4: I was going to say, like, picking up the elephant
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: poo would not be fun.
- 1:02:21Speaker 9: This next one, flight attendant. Glamorous destination sounds great until
- 1:02:25Speaker 9: you meet the brutal schedule, standby travel, and exhausted layovers.
- 1:02:29Speaker 9: Just last week when I was in Cancun, I was
- 1:02:31Speaker 9: texting you guys. Delaney, who used to work on the show,
- 1:02:33Speaker 9: her mom was the flight attendant with us, right? And
- 1:02:35Speaker 9: I haven't shared with you guys this story yet. I
- 1:02:37Speaker 9: got to post a picture. We were about 11,000 feet
- 1:02:40Speaker 9: about to land and our plane hit a bird and
- 1:02:43Speaker 9: it shattered the windshield of the airplane. Oh no. And
- 1:02:47Speaker 9: we landed in Cancun and it took four days for
- 1:02:50Speaker 9: them to fix the thing. And so Delaney's mom Had
- 1:02:52Speaker 9: no clothes. They put her up. She had to go
- 1:02:54Speaker 9: buy new clothes and stay there for four days before
- 1:02:57Speaker 9: they could fix the plane. I got to post a picture.
- 1:02:59Speaker 9: You guys will freak out. There's blood and the pilot's windshield.
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: Is like that.
- 1:03:04Speaker 9: Birds and planes aren't good. That's never a good combo.
- 1:03:07Speaker 9: Jobs that are romanticized but suck. Video game tester. You're
- 1:03:11Speaker 9: not playing games all day. You're walking through the same
- 1:03:12Speaker 9: door a hundred different ways looking for bugs. TV news reporter.
- 1:03:18Speaker 9: You picture breaking big news stories but you may be
- 1:03:20Speaker 9: covering school boards and county fairs For a little bit
- 1:03:23Speaker 9: of money. Elementary school teacher. People picture story time in crayons.
- 1:03:29Speaker 9: Teachers describe crowd control, parents, administrators, and unpaid overtime. Traveling
- 1:03:33Speaker 9: for work sounds like paid vacations until your big adventure
- 1:03:35Speaker 9: becomes two weeks between a courtyard Marriott and an office park. Lawyer.
- 1:03:41Speaker 9: Television gives you dramatic courtroom speeches. Reality gives you debt, research, paperwork,
- 1:03:44Speaker 9: and very long hours. Doctor. Saving lives is only part
- 1:03:48Speaker 9: of the job. Paperwork, insurance companies, long hours.
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: Bummer I gotta imagine insurance a huge part of that paperwork.
- 1:03:54Speaker 9: Paperwork musicians being on tour sounds amazing until you're sleeping
- 1:03:57Speaker 9: in cars eating road food and hauling equipment every night
- 1:04:00Speaker 9: come on that's the dream movie set crew Hollywood except
- 1:04:04Speaker 9: much of your day can be waiting around working very
- 1:04:06Speaker 9: long hours and rarely seeing your family a model glamorous
- 1:04:10Speaker 9: photo shoots are the finished product behind them can be
- 1:04:13Speaker 9: 12-hour shoots constant body scrutiny and months waiting to get
- 1:04:17Speaker 9: paid these are all jobs that are romanticized but they're
- 1:04:20Speaker 9: really terrible hey joel what's a job that's romanticized but
- 1:04:26Speaker 9: sucks what do you got.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: Hey guys um being.
- 1:04:30Speaker 9: A roadie oh you know what's funny i think that's
- 1:04:33Speaker 9: on here well i said musician.
- 1:04:35Speaker 6: Roadies it's even tougher though you feel like you're on
- 1:04:38Speaker 6: on a tour with a cool band but you are
- 1:04:40Speaker 6: just lifting and heaving they're early they're late that's tough.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: Yeah absolutely man uh Everybody thinks it's some glamorous thing.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: You're in at 6 or 7 or 8 in the morning. Well,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: if you're a crew, I wasn't. And then, you know,
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: you maybe get a nap in the afternoon, and then
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: you do a show and load out, and you're done
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: at 1 or so in the morning.
- 1:04:59Speaker 9: Who were you a roadie for?
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: My first tour was 1989 Debbie Gibson, but I've worked
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: for Billy Joel, Ellen John, Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, Insane,
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: Ricky Martin. My last year was... Nickelback, Cardi B, and
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: Eric Clapton.
- 1:05:18Speaker 9: We're not allowed to talk about Nickelback on this show.
- 1:05:20Speaker 9: Please don't bring that up. That would be an interesting
- 1:05:22Speaker 9: triple bill. Please don't bring that up.
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: Nickelback, Cardi B.
- 1:05:25Speaker 13: Same thing.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: Nickelback's actually the best band I ever worked for. Those
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: guys are amazing.
- 1:05:32Speaker 9: Oh, my God.
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: Dude, you're going to get us in trouble. We didn't
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: say it. He said it.
- 1:05:36Speaker 9: Hey, hey, hey.
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: This is John Jay.
- 1:05:38Speaker 7: What?
- 1:05:39Speaker 9: What'd you say you cut out?
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: I said, hey, I think it was you who said
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: no Nickelback, but yeah, they're the best band I've ever
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: worked for.
- 1:05:44Speaker 9: Good to know. Good to know. All right, man. Thanks
- 1:05:47Speaker 9: for calling in, Joel. Thanks, brother.
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: He's been around.
- 1:05:49Speaker 14: No worries.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: Have a great day.
- 1:05:50Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:05:51Speaker 8: Quite the list.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: So on Saturday Night Live.
- 1:05:54Speaker 9: Dakota Johnson was hosting, Taylor Swift popped in, we're going
- 1:05:57Speaker 9: to get into that in the entertainment news a little bit,
- 1:05:59Speaker 9: but what did Dakota say? It was kind of funny.
- 1:06:00Speaker 8: She was like just joking about how she always dates musicians.
- 1:06:04Speaker 17: I went through two very public, very lame breakups with
- 1:06:09Speaker 17: two very awesome musicians.
- 1:06:13Speaker 21: Looking for a third.
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: Hey there, Dakota.
- 1:06:16Speaker 13: Oh, Leon, thank you, thank you.
- 1:06:19Speaker 9: Okay.
- 1:06:19Speaker 13: I'm just going to, sorry, thought about it.
- 1:06:23Speaker 9: So she implied that she's not going to date a
- 1:06:25Speaker 9: musician ever again. By the way, who's the other? I
- 1:06:27Speaker 9: know it's Chris Martin. Who's the other one?
- 1:06:29Speaker 16: I had to look it up, too. It's Tucker Pillsbury
- 1:06:31Speaker 16: from Role Model. But then she's also actually rumored to
- 1:06:33Speaker 16: be dating MGK right now.
- 1:06:35Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:06:36Speaker 8: Another musician.
- 1:06:38Speaker 9: Is Tucker Pillsbury, he is Role Model?
- 1:06:40Speaker 13: Yeah, that's Role Model.
- 1:06:40Speaker 5: Oh, wow.
- 1:06:42Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 1:06:42Speaker 13: And he's on tour right now, I think.
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: I really like Role Model. My kid, Audrey, just saw
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: him last week in New York.
- 1:06:46Speaker 13: Yeah, I heard he's actually pretty good.
- 1:06:48Speaker 9: So we thought, what career would you never date again? 877-937-1047. Clive,
- 1:06:55Speaker 9: what career would you never date again?
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: Psychologist, man.
- 1:06:59Speaker 9: Oh, yeah.
- 1:07:01Speaker 8: What happened?
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: Walk us through your experience.
- 1:07:03Speaker 9: What happened?
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: So she gives me a call and she's like, you know, hey,
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: we got to talk. I'm going to come over. I'm like,
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: all right, cool. So she comes over. She knocks on
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: my door. She gives me this. this very dramatic, somebody
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: posted you in this group on Facebook. It's the group called, uh,
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: are we dating the same guy? So, you know, I
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: come in and when she comes in and I'm like,
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: you know, I had to think about it for a second,
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: but I'm like, actually, I'm not talking to anybody else.
- 1:07:32Speaker 9: It's just her.
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: So I'm like, you know, what happened? She's like, somebody
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: posted you in this group. I didn't pay any attention
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: to it. I just blew it off or whatever. But
- 1:07:41Speaker 3: I'm sitting there thinking, like, that doesn't sound right. Like,
- 1:07:44Speaker 3: we have to talk about this. So why are you here?
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: So then I asked her to send me the screenshot.
- 1:07:50Speaker 3: She sends me the screenshot of this post. And nobody
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: liked it, obviously, because, you know, I wasn't talking to
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: anybody else. But anyway, come to find out on the screenshot,
- 1:08:00Speaker 3: she didn't realize that iPhones has the metadata when you
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: take pictures or screenshot or anything. on the metadata of
- 1:08:08Speaker 3: the screenshot, it showed that she was the person that
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: actually posted it.
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: Am I dating the same person as I'm dating?
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: Well, she was just trying to see if you were
- 1:08:19Speaker 4: out there being, I get her logic.
- 1:08:20Speaker 13: I would do something like that.
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: I get the logic too. However, it had been up
- 1:08:26Speaker 3: for about 23 hours. Nobody liked it. And once again,
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: I was like, this is one of those moments where
- 1:08:32Speaker 3: men realize like, hey, I'm actually only talking to one person.
- 1:08:34Speaker 3: Like I was, I was being good to this person.
- 1:08:37Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:08:37Speaker 3: You weren't even like, really like that. You know what
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: I mean? But for her to come to my house
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: and lie about it.
- 1:08:43Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:08:43Speaker 9: But that's why you're a psychiatrist.
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: No, I feel like I actually can't relate.
- 1:08:48Speaker 4: To Clive because I actually dated a guy who was
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: the son of a psychologist and he was always trying
- 1:08:53Speaker 4: to diagnose me.
- 1:08:54Speaker 13: And I was like, you're the one with the problems.
- 1:08:56Speaker 13: It is not me.
- 1:08:56Speaker 9: No, I get that. But that's not what Clive is saying. Like,
- 1:09:00Speaker 9: getting diagnosed, I would see that'd be a common thing,
- 1:09:02Speaker 9: dating a psychiatrist or something like that. And that'd be like,
- 1:09:04Speaker 9: I don't want to, I don't want to date them
- 1:09:05Speaker 9: anymore because they're always trying to analyze everything. Thanks Clive.
- 1:09:08Speaker 9: But like, um, on our Facebook, we posted it. It says,
- 1:09:12Speaker 9: what career would you never date again? Musician, comedian, bartender, doctor.
- 1:09:19Speaker 9: Police officer, personal trainer, flight attendant, influencer.
- 1:09:24Speaker 13: Professional athlete.
- 1:09:26Speaker 9: Somebody said professional athlete should be on this list. Brandy
- 1:09:30Speaker 9: says I'll never date military.
- 1:09:33Speaker 13: Pilots.
- 1:09:33Speaker 9: Randy says nurse. So anyway.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: I feel like there's stories.
- 1:09:39Speaker 8: Behind all these, you know?
- 1:09:41Speaker 9: I know.
- 1:09:41Speaker 8: Who ruined it for you?
- 1:09:43Speaker 4: I feel like if you're like out on the road
- 1:09:44Speaker 4: or you're traveling a lot, you know, that leaves a
- 1:09:46Speaker 4: lot of room for loneliness.
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: Sure.
- 1:09:48Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:09:49Speaker 13: Shadiness.
- 1:09:50Speaker 8: Temptation.
- 1:09:51Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 1:09:52Speaker 9: Sombra tickets are on the line in about 20 minutes.
- 1:09:54Speaker 9: You got to keep listening for the key to call first.
- 1:09:55Speaker 9: Kyle Payton, what's trending in Hollywood? What are we going
- 1:09:57Speaker 9: to get into?
- 1:09:58Speaker 16: Tell you which celebrity couple was seen wearing matching gold
- 1:10:01Speaker 16: bands on that finger.
- 1:10:03Speaker 8: Or sparking rumors. We'll tell you that is next with
- 1:10:06Speaker 8: John Jay and Rich.
- 1:10:17Speaker 9: Go ahead, Kyle Payton. What do you guys got for entertaining?
- 1:10:19Speaker 9: What's trending?
- 1:10:20Speaker 16: I don't know what is going on with Bradley Cooper
- 1:10:22Speaker 16: and Gigi Hadid, but the rumors are they are secretly
- 1:10:24Speaker 16: married and they're not really trying to hide it. So
- 1:10:27Speaker 16: this is the second time that they have been spotted
- 1:10:30Speaker 16: out wearing gold bands on that finger. Everyone's like, okay,
- 1:10:35Speaker 16: they did it before. And you're like, okay, maybe not.
- 1:10:37Speaker 16: Because then they were spotted without.
- 1:10:38Speaker 8: Them at one point.
- 1:10:38Speaker 16: And then now they were out on a date in
- 1:10:40Speaker 16: Paris having those rings on. And everyone's like, okay, you're
- 1:10:43Speaker 16: trying to tell us without telling us.
- 1:10:44Speaker 8: And we're picking up the message.
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: They're cute.
- 1:10:47Speaker 13: I like them together. I'm happy. I'm happy for them.
- 1:10:49Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:10:50Speaker 8: Congratulations, maybe?
- 1:10:51Speaker 13: I think. We think so.
- 1:10:54Speaker 16: Dakota Johnson hosted SNL for the third time as she
- 1:10:57Speaker 16: was joking about dating musicians. Her real-life friend Taylor Swift
- 1:11:01Speaker 16: casually walked out during the monologue.
- 1:11:03Speaker 11: Ladies and gentlemen, my literal therapist.
- 1:11:08Speaker 13: I'm not your therapist, actually.
- 1:11:09Speaker 12: You just show up once a week at my house
- 1:11:11Speaker 12: with an empty bottle of wine and ask if I
- 1:11:13Speaker 12: want some.
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I have manners.
- 1:11:17Speaker 14: And then you flop on my couch and overshare, and
- 1:11:19Speaker 14: every so often I just say, damn, that's crazy.
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: Is that not a therapist?
- 1:11:24Speaker 17: Well, just quickly, while we're on the subject of musicians,
- 1:11:26Speaker 17: I think actually I'm doing a public service by dating them,
- 1:11:29Speaker 17: because ladies, I am saving you a lot of money
- 1:11:33Speaker 17: on Zoloft. So you're welcome, America.
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: That's cute.
- 1:11:38Speaker 9: Did you guys watch at the end when they do
- 1:11:40Speaker 9: the goodbyes at the end of the show?
- 1:11:42Speaker 8: Is that when Taylor Swift brought out the cake?
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: She brought out a cake.
- 1:11:45Speaker 8: It was Dakota's birthday.
- 1:11:46Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:11:46Speaker 9: She brought out a cake. And then the credits rolled
- 1:11:48Speaker 9: for a long time. And I think they were running
- 1:11:50Speaker 9: a little early. So the credits ran for a long time.
- 1:11:54Speaker 9: And you see Taylor Swift. She gives the cake. They
- 1:11:56Speaker 9: do whatever. She says the goodbyes. And then the credits
- 1:11:58Speaker 9: keep rolling. And you see her like everyone's staring at her.
- 1:12:02Speaker 9: But she's such a massive star. She's so aware of
- 1:12:05Speaker 9: who she is. She takes a step back to make
- 1:12:08Speaker 9: it about Dakota. If you watch and then people come
- 1:12:10Speaker 9: up to her to talk and you see her and
- 1:12:12Speaker 9: then Dakota comes over to talk. But it's such an
- 1:12:14Speaker 9: interesting 35, 40 seconds. If you watch Saturday Night Live,
- 1:12:17Speaker 9: it's on the Peacock app. Just to watch her know,
- 1:12:20Speaker 9: all right, this isn't about me. I'm going to back up.
- 1:12:22Speaker 9: And you see people come to her.
- 1:12:23Speaker 13: I really loved that moment.
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: Yeah, when I saw it, I was like.
- 1:12:28Speaker 13: That's how you do it, SNL. I was like, I
- 1:12:30Speaker 13: loved it. I thought that was great. Definitely fun.
- 1:12:32Speaker 16: And obviously Dakota Johnson was there promoting Verity, which was
- 1:12:35Speaker 16: number one at the box office.
- 1:12:36Speaker 13: Such a good movie.
- 1:12:36Speaker 8: You've seen Anne.
- 1:12:37Speaker 16: Hathaway everywhere promoting the five different movies she did this year.
- 1:12:42Speaker 13: Insane.
- 1:12:43Speaker 8: And she had promised.
- 1:12:44Speaker 16: That once she finished all the press, she was going
- 1:12:47Speaker 16: to vanish in a plume of smoke.
- 1:12:48Speaker 8: And she kind of made good.
- 1:12:50Speaker 11: On that promise.
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: So we're heading out to the Verity premiere.
- 1:12:54Speaker 12: Verity comes out in theaters Friday, October 2nd.
- 1:12:58Speaker 11: And then on October 3rd.
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: There it is.
- 1:13:03Speaker 18: And we are here.
- 1:13:04Speaker 16: And now she gets to enjoy the rest of her
- 1:13:06Speaker 16: pregnancy and take a well-deserved break.
- 1:13:09Speaker 4: Kim Kardashian, she is opening up again about her love life,
- 1:13:12Speaker 4: and she let us know that she has spent five
- 1:13:14Speaker 4: years staying single to completely heal and focus on her
- 1:13:17Speaker 4: kids following her split from Kanye. And I was like,
- 1:13:20Speaker 4: five years? I'm pretty sure you were dating Skeet like.
- 1:13:22Speaker 13: Three years ago.
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: I thought she was saying Louie Hamilton.
- 1:13:24Speaker 13: The math ain't nothing.
- 1:13:26Speaker 16: She said, I think she was trying to say there
- 1:13:27Speaker 16: was a long time where she was single. But like, yeah,
- 1:13:30Speaker 16: I kind of thought the same thing when I saw that.
- 1:13:32Speaker 11: I was like, are we just.
- 1:13:33Speaker 16: Going to completely glaze over the fact that you were
- 1:13:35Speaker 16: with Pete Davidson for a significant amount of time?
- 1:13:38Speaker 4: And are you like confirming that that was a PR
- 1:13:41Speaker 4: stunt or whatever?
- 1:13:42Speaker 13: Like what relationship was fake? Like I'm confused.
- 1:13:45Speaker 4: But anyway, she's really happy now with Lewis Hamilton. And
- 1:13:47Speaker 4: she said that allowing that time for her to be
- 1:13:50Speaker 4: by herself fit, you know, it really allowed her to
- 1:13:52Speaker 4: love herself and be with herself to open up. the
- 1:13:54Speaker 4: space to bring him into her life. So I really
- 1:13:56Speaker 4: love them together, too.
- 1:13:57Speaker 13: They're super cute.
- 1:13:58Speaker 4: You guys, my jaw was low-key, like, on the floor
- 1:14:00Speaker 4: when I saw this over the weekend. Gypsy Rose Blanchard,
- 1:14:03Speaker 4: she's the one who had Munchausen by proxy and murdered
- 1:14:05Speaker 4: her mom. Her husband, Ken Urker, who she shares a
- 1:14:08Speaker 4: daughter with, was found dead in his home. This weekend
- 1:14:12Speaker 4: on his 33rd birthday. And I was like, oh, and
- 1:14:15Speaker 4: I mean, I went immediately to the comments.
- 1:14:16Speaker 13: I was like, scroll, scroll, scroll.
- 1:14:17Speaker 4: What is everyone saying about Gypsy Rose right now? Because
- 1:14:20Speaker 4: obviously all eyes are going to.
- 1:14:21Speaker 13: Be on her. And she basically came out.
- 1:14:24Speaker 4: She said that her brother discovered him unresponsive after he
- 1:14:27Speaker 4: failed to reply to a bunch of birthday texts. Gypsy
- 1:14:29Speaker 4: said that she's in disbelief over a suspected overdose. So
- 1:14:32Speaker 4: there hasn't been any like confirmed cause of death. But
- 1:14:35Speaker 4: authorities are investigating to kind of see what was actually going.
- 1:14:38Speaker 13: Down over there.
- 1:14:38Speaker 8: But she's not like a suspect.
- 1:14:40Speaker 4: She is not a suspect by any means. She says
- 1:14:42Speaker 4: she's absolutely devastated. But, I mean, her story was just
- 1:14:46Speaker 4: so massive and so huge for so long. And when
- 1:14:48Speaker 4: she got released from prison, you know, she started dating
- 1:14:50Speaker 4: this guy. And it's just wild.
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: Just wild.
- 1:14:53Speaker 8: Yeah, super crazy.
- 1:14:55Speaker 16: It would also be kind of crazy if this star
- 1:14:57Speaker 16: goes through with what he's been thinking about doing. Chance
- 1:15:00Speaker 16: the Rapper says, he's been considering something. And I want
- 1:15:03Speaker 16: to know how you guys feel about it.
- 1:15:04Speaker 9: I've been thinking about changing my name.
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: I've been thinking about.
- 1:15:07Speaker 8: That's the problem, Chance.
- 1:15:08Speaker 11: That's where you need to go.
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: That's what I'm going to lose.
- 1:15:10Speaker 9: I'm going to take off the chance. I just want
- 1:15:11Speaker 9: to be the rapper.
- 1:15:12Speaker 8: The rapper.
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: Oh, that's fire.
- 1:15:14Speaker 9: Yeah, it's been like something I've been thinking about a lot.
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: Why not keep the chance and lose the rapper?
- 1:15:19Speaker 13: That's going to be a no for me.
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: Because Chance, you would totally get.
- 1:15:22Speaker 13: He is Chance, the acid rapper. No, no, no. I
- 1:15:26Speaker 13: don't like it.
- 1:15:28Speaker 8: When she was like, that's fire. I'm like, is it though?
- 1:15:30Speaker 13: Why are you lying to him, girlfriend?
- 1:15:31Speaker 8: Why do I not feel that way? So just know
- 1:15:34Speaker 8: that might be happening. He just wants to be the rapper.
- 1:15:37Speaker 16: He said rap carried him through life, and now he
- 1:15:40Speaker 16: wants to be the guy who carries rap, which, I mean,
- 1:15:41Speaker 16: that's a lot of pressure. So good luck, Chance, or
- 1:15:45Speaker 16: just the rapper, or just Chance.
- 1:15:46Speaker 8: The rapper for now.
- 1:15:47Speaker 16: Ella Langley, easily one of the biggest stars right now
- 1:15:50Speaker 16: in music. She actually stopped her concert for a minute
- 1:15:53Speaker 16: to talk about how weird the last year has been
- 1:15:56Speaker 16: for her.
- 1:15:56Speaker 8: I mean, think about it. She was a country star,
- 1:15:58Speaker 8: and then she blew up, and now she's an everything star, right?
- 1:16:00Speaker 16: And she has had a lot of people fall in
- 1:16:03Speaker 16: love with her. She's got Ellis fellas for Pete's sake. However,
- 1:16:06Speaker 16: with that comes a lot of haters. And she had
- 1:16:08Speaker 16: said like she has dealt with a lot of bullying.
- 1:16:12Speaker 16: And for a while, she didn't think she was strong
- 1:16:14Speaker 16: enough to.
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: Deal with it.
- 1:16:15Speaker 5: So she's like, listen.
- 1:16:34Speaker 16: The girl you're picking on is the girl who got
- 1:16:35Speaker 16: me here today to be, like, one of the biggest stars.
- 1:16:37Speaker 16: So I have to reconcile with that and say, hate
- 1:16:40Speaker 16: all you want.
- 1:16:40Speaker 13: Yeah, good for her.
- 1:16:41Speaker 4: Because, I mean, it's so easy to pull up. Because
- 1:16:43Speaker 4: I've been seeing it online. Like, people are pulling up, like,
- 1:16:46Speaker 4: before and after pictures of Ella Langley. Like, yeah, if
- 1:16:48Speaker 4: you got a little bit of money, of course you're
- 1:16:50Speaker 4: probably going to get some filler.
- 1:16:51Speaker 13: Of course you're going to get the glow up. Like, hello,
- 1:16:53Speaker 13: if I was rich and famous, I would also be
- 1:16:55Speaker 13: doing the same.
- 1:16:56Speaker 8: What is that? They did that with Jeff Bezos. I
- 1:17:00Speaker 8: think you're not rich.
- 1:17:01Speaker 13: You're not ugly. You're just not.
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: You're poor. They do it with everybody.
- 1:17:04Speaker 9: Tom Brady's the big one. Tom Brady changed.
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: His face a lot.
- 1:17:08Speaker 5: I get it.
- 1:17:08Speaker 13: They all do it.
- 1:17:09Speaker 17: Who cares?
- 1:17:11Speaker 16: Zendaya has been taking a little break except for... She's
- 1:17:14Speaker 16: in a new campaign for like, On Cloud has like
- 1:17:17Speaker 16: a new clothing line that they just dropped. And in it,
- 1:17:20Speaker 16: she literally like reprises a role as an action figure
- 1:17:24Speaker 16: or an action character. She's trying to like evade these
- 1:17:28Speaker 16: two people.
- 1:17:29Speaker 13: Ladies, it's been fun. Okay, but I don't want any trouble.
- 1:17:38Speaker 5: Up there!
- 1:17:39Speaker 16: And then it turns into a big fight, and she's
- 1:17:41Speaker 16: wearing the outfits, and she looks amazing, and great job
- 1:17:43Speaker 16: to the on-company for getting Zendaya on.
- 1:17:47Speaker 9: Sombra's going to be here on the 14th Desert Diamond Arena.
- 1:17:50Speaker 9: We got your free tickets right now, 877-937-1047. You got
- 1:17:55Speaker 9: to play our game and win Noise Machine. You win that,
- 1:17:57Speaker 9: you're headed to the show. We'll do that after Olivia Dean.
- 1:17:59Speaker 9: All right, we're going to play a game. Katie's are
- 1:18:08Speaker 9: contested for slumber tickets.
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: Hello, Katie.
- 1:18:11Speaker 18: Hello.
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: Hello, Katie. Nick, what are we playing?
- 1:18:14Speaker 10: You guys were playing a game today called Noise Machine.
- 1:18:17Speaker 10: Big weekend in football, huh?
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:18:20Speaker 10: The NFL week is concluding.
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: I thought it'd be fun to play mascots.
- 1:18:26Speaker 10: So whatever the winning teams were this weekend, I'm quizzing
- 1:18:30Speaker 10: you with the noises of said mascots.
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: It's going to be tough.
- 1:18:35Speaker 10: You guys, this is going to be so fun. I
- 1:18:37Speaker 10: am really, really excited for today. We're going to start
- 1:18:40Speaker 10: with John Jay.
- 1:18:47Speaker 9: I want to say the Arizona Sheep. but I think
- 1:18:50Speaker 9: it's the, what? That's a goat. Is somebody a goat?
- 1:18:54Speaker 9: So you want the name of the mascot.
- 1:18:56Speaker 21: Can I steal?
- 1:18:56Speaker 9: Yeah, go ahead, steal.
- 1:18:58Speaker 4: It's the ram.
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: The Los Angeles ram. Good job, Katie. Good job, Katie.
- 1:19:05Speaker 13: All the St.
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: Louis Rams.
- 1:19:07Speaker 8: Well, not anymore.
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: Just for a minute. Really just hit me in my
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: heart there, John Jesse. Okay, moving on. Rich.
- 1:19:16Speaker 5: Rich.
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: The Broncos?
- 1:19:24Speaker 9: The Horses.
- 1:19:25Speaker 4: Oh, no.
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: It'll be the Colts because the Broncos didn't win. The Colts.
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: Is that your final answer, Rich? It's my final answer.
- 1:19:31Speaker 10: We were looking for the Indianapolis Colts. Way to go.
- 1:19:36Speaker 10: Good job.
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: Rich has one point now. Peyton?
- 1:19:42Speaker 13: Oh, those are the Jaguars. Steel. Tigers.
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: Lions.
- 1:19:48Speaker 8: You got to commit.
- 1:19:52Speaker 13: Those are the Detroit Lions.
- 1:19:54Speaker 10: The Detroit Lions is incorrect. We are looking for the
- 1:19:56Speaker 10: team they lost to, the Carolina Panthers.
- 1:19:59Speaker 3: Oh, man.
- 1:19:59Speaker 2: The only one I didn't guess. The only cat you
- 1:20:02Speaker 2: didn't guess. So nice try, Peyton. We'll move on now. Kyle.
- 1:20:10Speaker 8: That sounds like a lion.
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: You think that's a lion?
- 1:20:13Speaker 8: I'm going to say the Lions.
- 1:20:14Speaker 10: Just established the Lions lost to the Panthers. So we
- 1:20:17Speaker 10: are looking for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
- 1:20:20Speaker 13: I didn't know they won.
- 1:20:20Speaker 9: You told me there's Panthers and Jaguars?
- 1:20:24Speaker 2: And Lions. There's all kinds of big cats in the NFL.
- 1:20:27Speaker 9: They need to change that.
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: A lot of cats.
- 1:20:29Speaker 9: That's confused.
- 1:20:30Speaker 2: Never going to work.
- 1:20:33Speaker 12: All right.
- 1:20:33Speaker 2: A lot of animals in round one. Are we ready, Katie?
- 1:20:37Speaker 3: I think so.
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh.
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: Hello, bird.
- 1:20:52Speaker 16: The Eagles? I don't even know if they won.
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: The Eagles lost to the Rams, so that's a nice try.
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: We were looking for.
- 1:20:59Speaker 4: Everybody in the room.
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: Three, two, one. The Baltimore Ravens. Ravens. There's lots of birds, too.
- 1:21:05Speaker 8: We have falcons, eagles, ravens, cardinals. So many of them.
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: So the second round is a little harder.
- 1:21:13Speaker 12: Oh, gosh.
- 1:21:14Speaker 2: I wish you all luck. We're going to start with
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: John Jay. My name is Cleveland Brown. The Browns? We
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: are looking for the Cleveland Browns. All right, John Jay
- 1:21:27Speaker 2: on the board with one point. I really enjoyed that one.
- 1:21:32Speaker 12: Rich.
- 1:21:33Speaker 17: And I'm proud to be an American where at least
- 1:21:38Speaker 17: I know I'm free.
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: Oh, okay. So American Lee Greenwood.
- 1:21:43Speaker 9: I think I got it.
- 1:21:45Speaker 13: I think we all got it.
- 1:21:47Speaker 2: The Patriots. The Patriots.
- 1:21:48Speaker 9: Oh, I was going with the Texans.
- 1:21:50Speaker 2: I got it wrong there. I thought I did. All right.
- 1:21:57Speaker 10: So John Day with one point. Rich on the board
- 1:21:59Speaker 10: now officially. Katie on the board with one point. Move
- 1:22:01Speaker 10: on now. Peyton, it's your turn.
- 1:22:03Speaker 9: Three, five, four.
- 1:22:05Speaker 13: Oh, the Giants.
- 1:22:06Speaker 2: We were looking for the New York Giants. Way to go, Peyton.
- 1:22:13Speaker 5: All right.
- 1:22:13Speaker 2: Everybody but Kyle on the board, but here's her shot now.
- 1:22:16Speaker 11: Okay, that sounds like an elephant.
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: Okay. The elephants. The elephants are where? The Rhode Island elephants.
- 1:22:27Speaker 2: The gorillas.
- 1:22:29Speaker 8: Let me hear it one more time.
- 1:22:31Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:22:33Speaker 9: T-Rexes.
- 1:22:36Speaker 2: Jurassic Park got a team. That's the Titans.
- 1:22:39Speaker 13: They're Titans.
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: That's a Titan. The Titans that I hear Katie want
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: to steal? Yeah. The Bears.
- 1:22:45Speaker 13: The Bears. Good job, Katie.
- 1:22:49Speaker 8: I was thinking non-animals this time.
- 1:22:52Speaker 10: Katie's already won the game, but I would like to
- 1:22:54Speaker 10: play the last clip just for.
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: The hell of it.
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: Texas.
- 1:22:58Speaker 13: Texas.
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: Not the Titans? You're close. Katie, do you know it?
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: The Dallas Cowboys. That is what we're looking for.
- 1:23:09Speaker 9: Everybody got their football trivia today.
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: Wow. Noise machine. It's hard. It's hard.
- 1:23:15Speaker 8: Not for Katie.
- 1:23:17Speaker 12: All right.
- 1:23:17Speaker 9: I was in my room watching Mr. Beast's new video,
- 1:23:22Speaker 9: and my son was watching the Cardinals game. And he
- 1:23:25Speaker 9: kept giving me that, we're winning, we're winning. And then
- 1:23:27Speaker 9: all of a sudden it was just a disaster.
- 1:23:28Speaker 8: Like the last 11 seconds.
- 1:23:30Speaker 9: And I was like, oh man, come sit down and
- 1:23:32Speaker 9: watch Mr.
- 1:23:32Speaker 12: Beast.
- 1:23:32Speaker 9: Hey, Katie, hold on. We're going to sit down with Sombra.
- 1:23:35Speaker 9: Hold on.
- 1:23:35Speaker 16: All right.
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 1:23:37Speaker 9: You got it. Thanks for listening. By the way, speaking
- 1:23:39Speaker 9: of Mr. Beast, I don't know if you guys ever
- 1:23:40Speaker 9: watch his videos, but my sister works for him. And
- 1:23:43Speaker 9: the episode that dropped on Saturday, which is the grocery
- 1:23:46Speaker 9: store episode.
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: Is that people who live inside the store?
- 1:23:50Speaker 9: He told these four guys, he bought a grocery store, Mr. Beast,
- 1:23:53Speaker 9: filled it with food and said, You have to eat.
- 1:23:57Speaker 9: You can win a million dollars. You have to eat
- 1:23:59Speaker 9: all these calories of food. You can't waste a calorie.
- 1:24:01Speaker 9: If you waste a calorie, like they drop the blueberry,
- 1:24:03Speaker 9: that's 20 calories. They take $ 20 away from the million dollars.
- 1:24:06Speaker 9: And whoever can, if they could stay there for a
- 1:24:08Speaker 9: certain amount of time, and I think they stayed there
- 1:24:10Speaker 9: almost a year or something, nine months or something, they
- 1:24:13Speaker 9: split a million bucks. And it was my sister's show.
- 1:24:17Speaker 9: she was in charge of it and it dropped and
- 1:24:18Speaker 9: it's broken all kinds of records.
- 1:24:20Speaker 12: Wow.
- 1:24:21Speaker 9: It's pretty cool. I'm like really proud of her.
- 1:24:23Speaker 2: Like it had, that's awesome.
- 1:24:24Speaker 9: Like Mr. Beast is beside himself. Last I checked last night,
- 1:24:27Speaker 9: it had 85 million views in one day.
- 1:24:29Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:24:30Speaker 9: That's insane. That's this guy has got crazy stuff that
- 1:24:35Speaker 9: you can't even, I mean, I think about, we have
- 1:24:37Speaker 9: 20,000 followers on our YouTube page.
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: He's on a completely different universal level there.
- 1:24:41Speaker 9: That guy. Just crazy. So anyway, if you get a chance, uh,
- 1:24:44Speaker 9: I want to promote it as much as I can
- 1:24:45Speaker 9: because I want my sister to get all the credit
- 1:24:47Speaker 9: for it. Because so far, he's given her all the credit.
- 1:24:49Speaker 9: So it's YouTube, MrBeastChannel, and it's the grocery store. And
- 1:24:53Speaker 9: you can buy merch. I've never seen this before. You're
- 1:24:56Speaker 9: watching YouTube, and it'll pause, and it'll be like they
- 1:24:58Speaker 9: put up a QR code. And you can buy this merch.
- 1:25:01Speaker 9: There's a Mexican guy named Juan who's living in the store,
- 1:25:03Speaker 9: and I bought merch to support Juan.
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: It's great.
- 1:25:05Speaker 9: I love it. He's a great guy.
- 1:25:07Speaker 2: Anyway, what else?
- 1:25:08Speaker 9: What's coming up, Kyle? What do we need to know?
- 1:25:09Speaker 16: Before you basically buy anything today, you might want to
- 1:25:13Speaker 16: give it 24 hours. I will tell you why next
- 1:25:15Speaker 16: with John Jane Rich.
- 1:25:21Speaker 9: Colin Fugg, what do we need to know today?
- 1:25:24Speaker 16: AI is moving so fast that the White House just
- 1:25:27Speaker 16: created an entire task force whose job is basically to
- 1:25:31Speaker 16: figure out what the government needs to be doing about it. Now,
- 1:25:34Speaker 16: it's called the Super Intelligence Force. I feel like there
- 1:25:39Speaker 16: needed to be some echo on that or something. But
- 1:25:41Speaker 16: over the next 120 days, their job is to take
- 1:25:44Speaker 16: a look at everything from keeping America ahead in AI
- 1:25:47Speaker 16: to what happens if increasingly powerful systems create problems involving humans.
- 1:25:52Speaker 8: Cybersecurity, jobs, or national security. The super intelligence force is
- 1:25:57Speaker 8: on it.
- 1:25:57Speaker 6: You know the task force. They're just going to go
- 1:25:59Speaker 6: to chat GPT and go, is everything okay? They're going
- 1:26:01Speaker 6: to phone it in through their chat.
- 1:26:02Speaker 8: I hope we're doing a little more than that.
- 1:26:04Speaker 16: It is the October Black Friday Wars, and they basically
- 1:26:08Speaker 16: start today.
- 1:26:09Speaker 8: So if there's something expensive sitting in your cart right now,
- 1:26:12Speaker 8: maybe don't.
- 1:26:13Speaker 16: Hit buy just yet because basically every major retail is
- 1:26:17Speaker 16: about to start fighting for your money so you've got
- 1:26:18Speaker 16: walmart's october sale starts today amazon big prime deals days
- 1:26:22Speaker 16: i think start tomorrow and they kind of already started
- 1:26:25Speaker 16: and then the target circle deal days start tomorrow and
- 1:26:27Speaker 16: then amazon's even dropping new limited time deals three times
- 1:26:31Speaker 16: a day so.
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: If you wow you know the prime.
- 1:26:34Speaker 16: Days like now it's like black friday you don't wait
- 1:26:36Speaker 16: till black friday you do it all right now because
- 1:26:38Speaker 16: this is like their bigger sales.
- 1:26:39Speaker 9: I'm looking at getting a coffee maker because I'm new
- 1:26:41Speaker 9: to the coffee world. I want to get away from
- 1:26:43Speaker 9: the Keurigs and I want to do like an old
- 1:26:45Speaker 9: school coffee pot with no plastic in it. So I
- 1:26:48Speaker 9: found this one brand.
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: And guess what?
- 1:26:51Speaker 9: All my Instagram feed now is coffee pots, which is
- 1:26:54Speaker 9: really weird. But guess how much a coffee pot costs
- 1:26:57Speaker 9: with no plastic?
- 1:26:57Speaker 2: Just a regular old coffee pot filter. That's a hot
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: coffee pot.
- 1:27:00Speaker 9: No, yeah. With no plastic.
- 1:27:03Speaker 2: The only ones I could find are $ 495. With no plastic.
- 1:27:07Speaker 16: I think the old school ones, they are plastic. They
- 1:27:09Speaker 16: filter through the plastic thing.
- 1:27:11Speaker 13: $ 495. $ 495. I wonder if you're looking at, like, the
- 1:27:15Speaker 13: fancy drip ones.
- 1:27:16Speaker 5: Yeah, drip.
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: Well, that's what old-fashioned is.
- 1:27:18Speaker 9: That's how you do it, yeah.
- 1:27:19Speaker 2: Why don't you go to Nellis Auction? I bet you
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: they got one for, like, $ 60.
- 1:27:22Speaker 9: Well, you've got to make sure it's not plastic.
- 1:27:25Speaker 8: Yeah, that's the thing. That's the thing. All the old-school ones,
- 1:27:28Speaker 8: they've got the plastic. That's one of the things that
- 1:27:29Speaker 8: I would think would be really cheap.
- 1:27:30Speaker 4: Or if you don't mind, like, buying one that's already used, maybe, like,
- 1:27:34Speaker 4: Facebook Marketplace has one for cheap, like, half.
- 1:27:36Speaker 13: Off of that.
- 1:27:37Speaker 5: Yeah, perhaps.
- 1:27:38Speaker 17: Perhaps.
- 1:27:39Speaker 8: This is pretty fascinating.
- 1:27:40Speaker 16: Researchers are finding that subtle changes in your voice could
- 1:27:44Speaker 16: eventually become another clue doctors use to spot who may
- 1:27:47Speaker 16: be at a greater risk for cognitive decline. So they
- 1:27:50Speaker 16: looked at all these records from a bunch of adults
- 1:27:52Speaker 16: over like over 50 and then found people diagnosed with
- 1:27:56Speaker 16: voice disorders were more likely to later develop cognitive impairment.
- 1:28:00Speaker 8: This doesn't mean.
- 1:28:01Speaker 16: That if your voice is getting hoarse, suddenly it's a
- 1:28:03Speaker 16: sign of dementia or anything like that, but they are,
- 1:28:06Speaker 16: they're going, Oh, this, This is an interesting correlation that
- 1:28:09Speaker 16: we're seeing that down the road could actually help us
- 1:28:12Speaker 16: predict this stuff sooner. Phoenix is becoming such a huge
- 1:28:16Speaker 16: deal in the computer chip world that Taiwan just opened
- 1:28:19Speaker 16: a new office right here and their foreign minister actually
- 1:28:22Speaker 16: came to Arizona for the opening. A huge reason is
- 1:28:26Speaker 16: that like, you know, all the semiconductor investment that's happening
- 1:28:29Speaker 16: here in the valley, which has basically made Arizona a
- 1:28:31Speaker 16: really important part of technology relationship between the U.S.
- 1:28:35Speaker 8: And Taiwan.
- 1:28:36Speaker 2: So that's kind of a big deal.
- 1:28:38Speaker 11: If you opened up your mail.
- 1:28:40Speaker 16: Over the last few days and you're like, whoa, this
- 1:28:43Speaker 16: is an early mail-in ballot. You know they're not really
- 1:28:46Speaker 16: supposed to be out for a week or something like that.
- 1:28:48Speaker 16: You're not losing track of the calendar. Over 3,000 Maricopa
- 1:28:51Speaker 16: County ballots accidentally went out six days early.
- 1:28:55Speaker 5: Whoopsies.
- 1:28:56Speaker 16: The good news is, is They are the correct ballots.
- 1:28:59Speaker 2: They're completely valid.
- 1:29:00Speaker 16: So if you've got one, don't throw it away. Don't
- 1:29:02Speaker 16: do anything differently. You can just fill it out at
- 1:29:05Speaker 16: your leisure. Now you've just got a little more time
- 1:29:07Speaker 16: to decide, you know, which which things you want to
- 1:29:10Speaker 16: vote on.
- 1:29:10Speaker 8: And that's what you need to know.
