Transcript
- 0:04Speaker 1: The body.
- 0:06Speaker 2: All right, is this a TikTok or a tick not? Angie,
- 0:11Speaker 2: I have another TikTok hack? Or is this a TikTok whack?
- 0:14Speaker 2: Everyone is a TikTok expert in twenty twenty five if
- 0:18Speaker 2: they would like to be.
- 0:19Speaker 3: Yeah, you just have to say it and then it's.
- 0:21Speaker 2: True hashtag expert and then insert whatever you'd like, of course. Okay, Well,
- 0:26Speaker 2: Tiffany Amber Theesen, also known as Kelly Kapowski the Bell.
- 0:31Speaker 3: That's right.
- 0:33Speaker 2: She posted this video on her reels Instagram. TikTok You
- 0:37Speaker 2: know they kind of go to everything.
- 0:38Speaker 4: Now.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Yeah, well she was eating carrot cake, right, so there
- 0:43Speaker 2: is a carrot cake in front of her and she
- 0:45Speaker 2: did this popless. Oh okay, now you don't see anything obviously,
- 0:49Speaker 2: but there are a bunch of people in this viral
- 0:52Speaker 2: video saying that if they could only eat when they
- 0:57Speaker 2: were naked, they would lose so much weight. And so
- 1:01Speaker 2: I have the question, if you could only eat when
- 1:04Speaker 2: you were naked, do you think that would be a
- 1:07Speaker 2: like a weight loss cheak coat if you were trying
- 1:09Speaker 2: to lose a couple pounds or something. And I thought
- 1:11Speaker 2: about it, you know, you wouldn't really be able to
- 1:14Speaker 2: eat in public per se, Right, you would naturally consume
- 1:19Speaker 2: less food just based on how life works, right, Like
- 1:22Speaker 2: I'm not gonna get naked in my office and eat
- 1:23Speaker 2: my soup at nine. I mean that would be a
- 1:27Speaker 2: wild you know. And also as you start to eat,
- 1:32Speaker 2: you might just like notice the second you kind of
- 1:35Speaker 2: feel a little bit bloated or look blowed, You're like, oh,
- 1:37Speaker 2: I'm done.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Yeah, you know what I'm saying. So is this a
- 1:40Speaker 3: TikTok or a tick not? Okay? It is impractical for sure? Yeah,
- 1:46Speaker 3: realistically almost impossible.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Yeah, However, yeah, I think it's a TikTok hack. If
- 1:53Speaker 1: you're committed, Right, if you're committed to this and you
- 1:57Speaker 1: do adhere to that you can only eat when you're undressed,
- 2:01Speaker 1: I think it would work. I'm trying to think.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Also, you know you're eating something you're not.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Gonna eat very many hot foods, like if it's too hot.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Can you imagine like if you accidentally spill on yourself,
- 2:12Speaker 1: Like this really limits your options. Is it impractical yes?
- 2:17Speaker 1: Is it likely unhealthy? Absolutely? But would it get the
- 2:20Speaker 1: job done? Yeah?
- 2:22Speaker 2: Probably Because the other part of the video, obviously, Tiffany,
- 2:27Speaker 2: was you know, a boyhood crush for just about every person.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Oh yeah, or every dude or whatever whoever. But and
- 2:34Speaker 2: then in the video she looks great. Yeah, and so
- 2:37Speaker 2: everyone's going, Wow, hold on a minute, you're telling me
- 2:41Speaker 2: if I only ate these kit cats when I was
- 2:45Speaker 2: completely in the news, Yeah, it might not be so bad.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Don't invite me for dinner, Gabe, because I think I'm
- 2:51Speaker 1: gonna try this.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Today's Variety Big ninety eight point seven. It's Gave and Angie,
- 2:58Speaker 2: and it is Fromay. We have made it to the
- 3:02Speaker 2: end of the work week, and that in and of
- 3:05Speaker 2: itself is a just an awesome victory. And we take
- 3:08Speaker 2: pride in being grateful for things and starting every show
- 3:11Speaker 2: on a positive note. And we're gonna go ahead and
- 3:12Speaker 2: do that again here today.
- 3:14Speaker 3: Angie.
- 3:14Speaker 2: If you have a little victory by the way, that
- 3:16Speaker 2: you would love to share with us, and we love
- 3:18Speaker 2: hearing them, we love reading them.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Just funny things. You know.
- 3:21Speaker 2: I saw someone someone messaged me on Instagram the other
- 3:24Speaker 2: day for their little victory. They're like, oh, hey, I
- 3:25Speaker 2: have this funny little victory. But it was really cool.
- 3:28Speaker 2: You know, when you have something in the microwave and
- 3:30Speaker 2: you stop it, like right, before it hits zero. Yes,
- 3:33Speaker 2: right before it makes the beat. This person messaged me
- 3:36Speaker 2: and they're like, yeah, I did that twice yesterday and
- 3:38Speaker 2: I was making food for my kids.
- 3:40Speaker 3: That is a little vesty and I support it.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Yes, So let us know about those little victories at
- 3:45Speaker 2: seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 3:51Speaker 1: I'm really keeping in the spirit of little victory with
- 3:54Speaker 1: this one. So the clock in my car has been
- 3:58Speaker 1: wrong for a long time, and not in a good
- 4:03Speaker 1: way because it's been behind by five minutes and so
- 4:07Speaker 1: I would be driving you're.
- 4:09Speaker 3: Even doing the cheek code. No, I wasn't even doing
- 4:11Speaker 3: the cheek cud.
- 4:11Speaker 1: I was doing it the wrong way. And it's like, oh,
- 4:13Speaker 1: I'm making excellent time.
- 4:15Speaker 3: No you're not, girl, you late.
- 4:17Speaker 1: And so finally Mikey.
- 4:19Speaker 3: Changed it for me. Yeah, actually this is a big
- 4:24Speaker 3: fat fail.
- 4:25Speaker 1: So Mikey changed it for me, and it was It's
- 4:28Speaker 1: one of those it's not an easy I feel like
- 4:30Speaker 1: it's like when you try to change the time on
- 4:32Speaker 1: the VCR back in the day, Like that was the
- 4:34Speaker 1: most difficult clock to change, was the VCR.
- 4:37Speaker 3: That's how my car is clock button.
- 4:40Speaker 1: No, you had to go through all these things and
- 4:43Speaker 1: so I was like, well, I'm not gonna do that,
- 4:44Speaker 1: and that's why I never changed it. But thank god
- 4:46Speaker 1: for my boyfriend Mikey, who is like, let me try
- 4:50Speaker 1: to fix all the things where you're failing girl. So
- 4:52Speaker 1: now it's an accurate time. Do you think though? It
- 4:56Speaker 1: would be too much if I was like, okay, but actually,
- 4:58Speaker 1: can you make it five minutes?
- 4:59Speaker 3: Fa now?
- 5:00Speaker 2: Yeah? Now I feel like you're kind of begging, all right. Yeah, well, hey,
- 5:04Speaker 2: congratulations on that.
- 5:05Speaker 3: I'm glad. I thank you. You will at least appear
- 5:07Speaker 3: to be on time though, that's right.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Yeah, Okay, my little victory once again, very very very small,
- 5:14Speaker 2: very minor. But you know what was very nice yesterday
- 5:18Speaker 2: there was like kind of twenty minutes of downtime here
- 5:21Speaker 2: at work. We had worked pretty good ahead for and
- 5:24Speaker 2: I was able to complete some of the things I
- 5:26Speaker 2: need to do this weekend yesterday here at work. So
- 5:29Speaker 2: when we're the show is over or whatever, we have
- 5:32Speaker 2: a lot of time or I have a lot more
- 5:34Speaker 2: time to be ready for Monday show, which is always love. Yeah,
- 5:38Speaker 2: that's my favorite is when we can sit and plan
- 5:42Speaker 2: the next show or whatever and really kind of get
- 5:45Speaker 2: into the nuts and bolts of it or whatever. So
- 5:46Speaker 2: I'm very excited to have an extra probably ten ish
- 5:49Speaker 2: fifteen minutes to do that today.
- 5:51Speaker 1: I was gonna say, though not me. I'm already five
- 5:54Speaker 1: minutes behind gab.
- 5:59Speaker 4: Who.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Halle Berry recently said Pierce Brosnan restored her faith in
- 6:08Speaker 2: men when they were on the James Bond set. And
- 6:10Speaker 2: the reason this has come into the news here is
- 6:13Speaker 2: Pierce has admitted that, hey, he'd be willing to go
- 6:16Speaker 2: back and play James Bond again if the movie or
- 6:21Speaker 2: the role was really good.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Yes, I would love this. I'm obsessed with Pierce Brosnan
- 6:26Speaker 1: and now he's even older, you know, I live for
- 6:29Speaker 1: an older man.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Yeah. Hallie also went on to say, there couldn't be
- 6:33Speaker 2: a human who is more of a gentleman when you
- 6:36Speaker 2: look at Pierce Brosnan, Angie, is that what you think?
- 6:38Speaker 3: Now, there's a gentleman right there.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Yes, he's like quintessential gentleman.
- 6:43Speaker 3: I think he just looks like one too.
- 6:45Speaker 1: And he's very super madly in love with his wife.
- 6:49Speaker 3: It appears they've been together forever and Hollywood, that's impossible.
- 6:53Speaker 1: That's impossible. And recently actually people were coming for her
- 6:56Speaker 1: because she's not as slender as she was when they
- 6:59Speaker 1: first started to dating, so everybody was like talking crap
- 7:01Speaker 1: about her, and Pierce Brosnan spoke out and he's like,
- 7:04Speaker 1: she's gorgeous and she's my wife and shut up.
- 7:06Speaker 3: You know. Yeah that's very sweet. Yeah, I love him.
- 7:09Speaker 2: So if he is like the quintessential gentleman, all right,
- 7:13Speaker 2: what U like?
- 7:14Speaker 3: What is uh? What makes a gentleman? Team? Oh like,
- 7:17Speaker 3: what constitutes gentlemen? Yeah?
- 7:19Speaker 2: You know that was a way better word than I
- 7:21Speaker 2: was trying to get to. I just you know, it
- 7:23Speaker 2: just they weren't firing. Okay, the neurons were not neuron
- 7:26Speaker 2: and you're right there, Okay, what makes a quintessential gentleman?
- 7:31Speaker 3: You know what?
- 7:32Speaker 1: I love? And Henry Cavill does this, like when a
- 7:34Speaker 1: woman walks into the room, if a gentleman is if
- 7:37Speaker 1: it's a gentleman and he's sitting, then he stands up
- 7:41Speaker 1: for the woman the room And I like that, holding
- 7:44Speaker 1: the door open, letting the woman walk in first, Like
- 7:48Speaker 1: that's very gentlemanly. Yeah.
- 7:50Speaker 2: I'm seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 7:53Speaker 2: You know, my dad used to watch these old cowboy movies,
- 7:56Speaker 2: you know, like John Wayne and all that stuff. And
- 7:59Speaker 2: I always now I'm not saying I do this, but
- 8:02Speaker 2: I always remember kind of like you said, how they'll
- 8:04Speaker 2: stand up. The other thing is they'll take their hat off.
- 8:06Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Was also kind of a thing I was. You know, No,
- 8:09Speaker 2: that's a class act, right. There was this guy I.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Would say, I'm dating a gentleman. Mikey still opens my
- 8:16Speaker 1: car door for me for the most part. Like sometimes
- 8:19Speaker 1: I get there too fast and I open it myself,
- 8:21Speaker 1: but he opens the car door for me, and I
- 8:23Speaker 1: think that is so sweet because I was.
- 8:25Speaker 3: A little worried, like not worried, but.
- 8:27Speaker 1: You know, he was doing it in the beginning, and
- 8:29Speaker 1: I thought, oh, because he's chrying to.
- 8:30Speaker 3: You know, no, I don't know what. I can't stand you.
- 8:35Speaker 1: But like that he's trying to woo me still, you
- 8:37Speaker 1: know what I mean.
- 8:38Speaker 3: But he still does.
- 8:39Speaker 1: It, and I think that's super sweet. We've been together
- 8:42Speaker 1: for like a year now and he still opens the
- 8:45Speaker 1: door for me. So I want to be a gentle
- 8:47Speaker 1: lady and I always lean over in the car.
- 8:49Speaker 3: And open his car door. That's very sweet. That girl
- 8:53Speaker 3: does it.
- 8:53Speaker 2: In Aron, Yeah, yeah, we have Lydia on the phone. Lydia,
- 8:57Speaker 2: what makes like a perfect gentleman to you? Hi, I
- 9:00Speaker 2: think a perfect gentleman as someone who is kind, respectful,
- 9:04Speaker 2: and attentive, someone who listens, shows empathy and makes you
- 9:08Speaker 2: feel special.
- 9:09Speaker 3: Yeah, that's right. What was what was her name? Again?
- 9:13Speaker 2: I'm just kidding, Lydia. I was listening, and now that
- 9:17Speaker 2: is a gentlemanly skill for sure.
- 9:25Speaker 1: It's time for am I the Problem? Where you send
- 9:27Speaker 1: us your side of the story and we help you
- 9:29Speaker 1: figure out if you're right or if maybe, just maybe
- 9:34Speaker 1: you're the problem. This one is a little bit of
- 9:37Speaker 1: a spin on am I the problem?
- 9:39Speaker 3: We're going to yeh.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Normally we're busy saying yes you're in the wrong or
- 9:43Speaker 2: no it's not your fault.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Yes, well, we're gonna help Amber with like preventative, am
- 9:49Speaker 1: I the problem?
- 9:49Speaker 3: Care? So is this am I the problem behavior? Or yes?
- 9:54Speaker 1: Yes, we're gonna stop her from becoming the problem potentially.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Here's what she had to say. Hey, Gab and Angie,
- 10:00Speaker 1: I need some advice. The other day, I was in
- 10:02Speaker 1: the bathroom at work in a stall when two of
- 10:05Speaker 1: my coworkers came in. They didn't know I was there,
- 10:09Speaker 1: and started gossiping about me, and it was all bad.
- 10:13Speaker 1: They said, the only reason I got my recent promotion
- 10:16Speaker 1: is because the boss thinks I'm hot and they see
- 10:19Speaker 1: me quote flirting with him.
- 10:21Speaker 3: I don't flirt. I'm just nice to everyone.
- 10:24Speaker 1: They went on to say I'm not qualified and that
- 10:27Speaker 1: I'm too nice and fake. I just sat there frozen,
- 10:31Speaker 1: completely sick to my stomach listening to it.
- 10:33Speaker 3: Now. I can't stop thinking about it.
- 10:35Speaker 1: I worked really hard for this promotion, and it feels
- 10:38Speaker 1: awful that they think I.
- 10:39Speaker 3: Didn't earn it.
- 10:40Speaker 1: I honestly want to cry just thinking about going back
- 10:43Speaker 1: to work around them. I thought we were all friends,
- 10:46Speaker 1: but I guess not. Apparently they're just bitter and old
- 10:49Speaker 1: and are jealous of my success. I love that, Yeah,
- 10:53Speaker 1: me too. Do I confront them and tell them I
- 10:56Speaker 1: heard everything?
- 10:57Speaker 3: Do I try to.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Prove them wrong by ignoring it. Do I go to
- 11:00Speaker 1: my boss and tell him what they're saying? Or is
- 11:03Speaker 1: there something else I should do? I feel stuck and miserable.
- 11:07Speaker 1: This is also on the big ninety eight points I've
- 11:09Speaker 1: in Facebook page. If you want to chime in, you
- 11:11Speaker 1: can also give us a call or text us seven
- 11:13Speaker 1: oh one two eight O one nine eight seven. What
- 11:16Speaker 1: should Amber do in this situation?
- 11:19Speaker 2: Well, I think we kind of agree here first and foremost.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Obviously she's not the problem here, but she could very
- 11:25Speaker 2: quickly become the problem.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Yeah, depending on how she responds to.
- 11:28Speaker 2: This by making a big, giant scene and making it
- 11:31Speaker 2: just awkward for every single person in the building. You
- 11:35Speaker 2: definitely don't want to do that, even though it may
- 11:37Speaker 2: feel good, right, you do not want to do that.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Here's my advice to Amber. I would be a little passive,
- 11:44Speaker 1: aggressive cutie, so very Midwestern of you. Yes, So I
- 11:50Speaker 1: would say things in front of them like, oh my gosh,
- 11:53Speaker 1: I'm so happy, but I got this promotion because clearly
- 11:57Speaker 1: I'm qualified, and I for anybody to think that it's
- 12:02Speaker 1: because my boss thinks I'm hot, but thankfully I know
- 12:05Speaker 1: that that's not the case, you know what I mean? Like,
- 12:07Speaker 1: I would say things where the other.
- 12:08Speaker 3: People would think, oh my gosh, did she hear.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Us talking about her? Right, That would be the route
- 12:14Speaker 1: that I would go Amber, because then if anyone says
- 12:17Speaker 1: anything like what, you didn't say anything wrong, You didn't
- 12:19Speaker 1: lash out, you were just talking about how you felt.
- 12:22Speaker 3: Yeah, you're just dropping in little nuggets.
- 12:24Speaker 1: Yeah, Yeah, I think that's the move, gabeood of your thoughts.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Well, I don't know if you run to the boss.
- 12:31Speaker 2: You know, there are four things you don't want to
- 12:34Speaker 2: be at work. This is great advice for anyone in
- 12:36Speaker 2: their young twenties or teens or whatever. You do not
- 12:39Speaker 2: want to be the person who is always late, right.
- 12:42Speaker 2: You do not want to be the person who like
- 12:44Speaker 2: constantly smells. And I don't say that to be mean,
- 12:47Speaker 2: but you don't want to be like the stinky person.
- 12:48Speaker 3: At work, right.
- 12:49Speaker 2: Yes, you don't want to be the person who steals
- 12:52Speaker 2: from the fridge.
- 12:53Speaker 3: Oh yeah, no work fridge and because what are you
- 12:55Speaker 3: a monster? Yeah?
- 12:56Speaker 2: And then finally you know you don't want to be
- 12:58Speaker 2: the office snitch. Yeah, So the boss is not necessarily
- 13:02Speaker 2: the advice I would give. I would kind of just
- 13:04Speaker 2: say you sort of just prove them wrong by going
- 13:06Speaker 2: out and doing it every day, and then just know
- 13:08Speaker 2: that they don't like you. People at work aren't gonna
- 13:11Speaker 2: like you, and that's fine. I mean, it kind of
- 13:13Speaker 2: hurts I know that they thought they were friends or whatever.
- 13:16Speaker 2: But at this point I would just kind of go
- 13:19Speaker 2: about my business and keep crushing it and keep earning
- 13:22Speaker 2: the things that you think you're earning because of your
- 13:24Speaker 2: hard work. Yeah, and just kind of, you know, kill
- 13:26Speaker 2: them with hard work as opposed to kindness.
- 13:28Speaker 3: You don't have to talk to him anymore, you know what.
- 13:29Speaker 1: That's the other thing though, is how she said that
- 13:32Speaker 1: she thought they were friends.
- 13:33Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I would. That does hurt.
- 13:35Speaker 1: But then if I were invited to something, I would
- 13:39Speaker 1: be like, oh gosh, no, I don't want to go
- 13:41Speaker 1: because I feel like, what if I get there and
- 13:43Speaker 1: everyone thinks I'm just too nice or too fake? Right,
- 13:46Speaker 1: you know, I don't want to go and they'd be like,
- 13:48Speaker 1: oh my gosh. Yeah, she hurt us.
- 13:50Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, I don't know.
- 13:52Speaker 2: I try to, you know, hurt them with hard work
- 13:54Speaker 2: as opposed to making a big scene for Well.
- 13:56Speaker 1: I'm pettier than you, Gabe.
- 14:02Speaker 2: And we have an interesting am I the problem as
- 14:04Speaker 2: opposed to is Amber the problem. We're more trying to
- 14:07Speaker 2: prevent Amber from becoming a problem.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Yeah, she wanted some advice. She caught her two co
- 14:13Speaker 1: workers talking trash about that that's right, saying that she
- 14:19Speaker 1: doesn't deserve her promotion. She just got it because she
- 14:22Speaker 1: flirts with the boss and he thinks she's hot. They
- 14:26Speaker 1: said she was fake, like just all kinds of mean
- 14:28Speaker 1: things that she overheard when she was in the bathroom stall,
- 14:31Speaker 1: and so her coworkers don't know that she knows all
- 14:35Speaker 1: the stuff that they said. So she wanted some advice
- 14:38Speaker 1: what should she do about this because she doesn't want
- 14:41Speaker 1: to become the problem. We had a lot of people
- 14:44Speaker 1: chime in. Cheryl said, I agree with Gabe. I've been
- 14:48Speaker 1: in management for many years and many people don't like
- 14:51Speaker 1: me because I got the position they wanted. And you
- 14:54Speaker 1: just go through and just kill the position like you
- 14:57Speaker 1: know you can. And that is what Gabe said. He said, like,
- 15:00Speaker 1: kill them with hard work.
- 15:01Speaker 3: Yes, ll set of kill them with kindness. Let's change it.
- 15:04Speaker 3: Will hurt them with hard work. Oh, I like that.
- 15:06Speaker 3: We get the what's that called the K? The K
- 15:09Speaker 3: and the K and the H and H. I don't
- 15:11Speaker 3: know what you're saying today. Kill them with kindness, yeah,
- 15:14Speaker 3: hurt them with hard work.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Oh, the alliteration, the alliteration I wanted, I love you.
- 15:20Speaker 1: I wanted the more petty approach, just like dropping little
- 15:23Speaker 1: nuggets so that they know that I heard what they
- 15:26Speaker 1: said without directly saying it.
- 15:29Speaker 3: Just always on edge. Yeah, but no one really has
- 15:32Speaker 3: agreed with my plan.
- 15:36Speaker 2: Today's variety big ninety eight point seven, cloudy to start
- 15:39Speaker 2: the day, but eventually Sonny and a high of eighty two. Ashley,
- 15:43Speaker 2: what's your advice for Amber four? Am I the problem today?
- 15:46Speaker 4: You know, the older I get, the more I realized
- 15:49Speaker 4: to not engage in people like that or to their level.
- 15:53Speaker 3: You're a better person than me.
- 15:54Speaker 4: Actually, I never used to be. I used to be
- 15:59Speaker 4: the one that would hear stuff and I would attack you,
- 16:01Speaker 4: and I would just be like, oh my god. You
- 16:03Speaker 4: know now I'm just like I don't even care, Like
- 16:05Speaker 4: I just don't care.
- 16:07Speaker 2: It's just not worth the stress, not worth the annoyance.
- 16:11Speaker 3: I know exactly what you mean.
- 16:12Speaker 4: It is not. He's your piece and piece of line,
- 16:15Speaker 4: and you will be so much happier, honestly. Just ignore
- 16:19Speaker 4: people like that, let them back like they're five on
- 16:21Speaker 4: their own, don't engage, and just simply walk away.
- 16:24Speaker 2: I think that is very fair advice. What about you, Angie?
- 16:27Speaker 3: I petty still till I die.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Amanda agrees with me, she said, I agree with Angie.
- 16:32Speaker 1: I'd be petty about it. Thank you, girl.
- 16:36Speaker 2: There is, believe it or not, a belt I have
- 16:40Speaker 2: owned for twenty two years.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Now.
- 16:42Speaker 2: I'm only thirty four, so it's not you know, it's
- 16:44Speaker 2: not like a sixty year old shirt that dad has
- 16:46Speaker 2: in the closet, you know. But I've had a belt
- 16:49Speaker 2: for twenty two years. This thing is checkered and it
- 16:51Speaker 2: belts together like a seat belt belt. Anyone who has
- 16:55Speaker 2: was born in like the eighties nineties maybe would remember
- 16:58Speaker 2: one of these from Hot Top.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Yes, you millennial, I think everyone had when I had one,
- 17:04Speaker 1: but I don't still have mine.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Yeah, Angie and I were talking about this, and I
- 17:08Speaker 2: was kind of joking, like, you know, kind of crazy
- 17:11Speaker 2: that a belt I had in seventh grade when I
- 17:13Speaker 2: weighed probably a whopping seventeen pounds I am still able
- 17:18Speaker 2: to wear?
- 17:19Speaker 3: Is that?
- 17:19Speaker 2: Wow?
- 17:20Speaker 3: I don't still have mine.
- 17:21Speaker 1: I gut into a belt I could wear seventh grade.
- 17:24Speaker 2: What it means I really got to start lifting some
- 17:27Speaker 2: weights or something that. But what is the oldest item
- 17:31Speaker 2: of clothing you own? Because for me, when I'm going
- 17:34Speaker 2: through the rolodex, that is it. That's the one, the
- 17:37Speaker 2: only thing that's stuck all this time. Seven oh one
- 17:39Speaker 2: two eight zero one nine eight seven. We did also
- 17:42Speaker 2: have this up on Facebook.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Yeah, Connie has corduroy pants that she bought back in
- 17:47Speaker 1: high school.
- 17:48Speaker 3: She's almost forty.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Oh all right, those corduroy pants have endured and come
- 17:53Speaker 1: back in style, like it all circles back. I think
- 17:56Speaker 1: the lesson is you got to keep all these things
- 17:58Speaker 1: from back then, because they'll be back in style soon.
- 18:01Speaker 2: It's not crazy, though, will be the coolest sixty year
- 18:03Speaker 2: olds in like thirties.
- 18:04Speaker 3: That's right.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Someone who goes by Judgmental Bird. I don't imagine that's
- 18:09Speaker 1: their government name. Said a sweater my dad bought me
- 18:14Speaker 1: about forty years ago. The elastic in the wrists have disintegrated,
- 18:19Speaker 1: so I just roll them up. I like that Judgmental
- 18:21Speaker 1: Bird still wears the sweatshirt I have.
- 18:24Speaker 3: I just had to.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Get rid of them, and so I'm kind of miserable
- 18:27Speaker 1: because nothing in my wardrobe is super old anymore. But
- 18:30Speaker 1: I did have a pair of shorts from middle school,
- 18:33Speaker 1: like middle school pe shorts, ah sure, and so comfortable.
- 18:36Speaker 1: That was like my what I would wear, you know,
- 18:39Speaker 1: cleaning around the house whatever.
- 18:40Speaker 3: But Lily, had they been through it.
- 18:43Speaker 1: It got to the point where the kids are like,
- 18:45Speaker 1: I don't know that you need to have booty cheek
- 18:47Speaker 1: out mom like they were just so ratty that I
- 18:50Speaker 1: finally had to get rid of them.
- 18:52Speaker 2: As opposed to shorts, it looked like you had been
- 18:54Speaker 2: wearing clothes made out of dental floss.
- 18:57Speaker 3: Youah, you.
- 19:04Speaker 2: There's a study that has come out that said when
- 19:06Speaker 2: people are grocery shopping, all right, I want you to
- 19:08Speaker 2: just imagine you're a horn Boxers or waldy Aldi, Walmart wherever, okay,
- 19:15Speaker 2: and you're going with your cart. You're grabbing things on
- 19:18Speaker 2: the left, you're grabbing things on the right, maybe to
- 19:21Speaker 2: the beat of this song. You know, you're doing a
- 19:23Speaker 2: little stroll in there like a music video.
- 19:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:26Speaker 2: They say, we as humans, we seesaw between healthy and
- 19:30Speaker 2: unhealthy choices. And so my question is, you know you
- 19:35Speaker 2: have half your cart full of things that maybe are
- 19:37Speaker 2: less healthy, half your cart full of things that you
- 19:40Speaker 2: would consider more healthy. When you're at home, what is
- 19:44Speaker 2: that moment where in your brain it goes, you know what,
- 19:48Speaker 2: I'm gonna treat myself to maybe something that is a
- 19:50Speaker 2: little more unhealthy seven oh one two eight zero one
- 19:54Speaker 2: nine eight seven What what when do you treat yourself to,
- 19:58Speaker 2: like an unhealthy snack?
- 19:59Speaker 3: Angie, If I've cleaned the house. Oh that's the one.
- 20:02Speaker 1: Then I'm like, well, I guess I'm gonna have this
- 20:05Speaker 1: duck chocolate. And when I get back from I always
- 20:09Speaker 1: go walk the track at the Fargo Parks Sports Center.
- 20:13Speaker 3: Yep.
- 20:13Speaker 1: When I hit my little ten thousand steps, I walk
- 20:16Speaker 1: right over to their vending machine and I get myself
- 20:22Speaker 1: a pack of Nutter Butters.
- 20:24Speaker 3: This healthy out healthy in. Yeah, that's right, exactly. Yeah.
- 20:28Speaker 3: You know what I do, Angie.
- 20:29Speaker 2: When it's like I don't know, five o three right,
- 20:33Speaker 2: and I'm sitting there house in checks mix or cheese
- 20:35Speaker 2: it's or just you know, sodium galore because that's kind
- 20:38Speaker 2: of my unhealthy snack or whatever. It's about five oh three,
- 20:41Speaker 2: I'm eating some checks mix and my wife will walk
- 20:44Speaker 2: in the house. Yeah, and I'll be like, honey, I
- 20:47Speaker 2: don't need these checks mix because you're looking like a snack.
- 20:50Speaker 3: You see what I'm saying there. I hope she divorced Claire.
- 20:57Speaker 3: When is when do you give yourself like that unhealthy
- 21:00Speaker 3: treat me on the weekend.
- 21:02Speaker 4: I'm on a strict diet throughout the week, so the
- 21:04Speaker 4: weekends are my cheeth day. It's a perfect balance, you know.
- 21:06Speaker 2: I feel like that's something that a lot of people
- 21:09Speaker 2: do with drinking, right, Like, oh, yeah, you're only drinking
- 21:12Speaker 2: during the week, but on Saturday, I got college football
- 21:15Speaker 2: to watch exactly.
- 21:16Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, Derek, what about you? An unhealthy snack.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Time after work?
- 21:19Speaker 1: I like to have cookies.
- 21:21Speaker 3: They're a sack.
- 21:22Speaker 2: I'm on a diet, so I have to have something
- 21:24Speaker 2: good every now and then or else I'll just fall
- 21:26Speaker 2: off it.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Right, that's the I'm trying to slim down a bit,
- 21:30Speaker 1: also the struggle man, and so eating those nutter butters
- 21:35Speaker 1: then stops me from going home and eating everything else.
- 21:38Speaker 3: Yeah, everything in the fridge exactly. We have talked a
- 21:47Speaker 3: lot about.
- 21:47Speaker 2: School being back this week for some students, some students
- 21:51Speaker 2: moving into college for the first time. We've talked to
- 21:53Speaker 2: you a lot about clear the cart, brought to you
- 21:55Speaker 2: by Beyond Realty, and here might just be a little more.
- 21:58Speaker 3: Motivation to help those teach clear those carts. All right.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Last week there was a student named Brendan who was
- 22:05Speaker 2: an eighth grader, and he suffered a cardiac arrest after
- 22:09Speaker 2: this rare asthma related complication that caused his lung to collapse. Now, fortunately,
- 22:16Speaker 2: school resource officer Christopher Buckner along with the fay ed
- 22:21Speaker 2: teacher and some other staff members. They quickly perform CPR
- 22:25Speaker 2: until paramedics arrived to take over the care, and doctors
- 22:28Speaker 2: at this children's hospital did confirm that the student experienced
- 22:32Speaker 2: a rare but very serious condition that required immediate intervention.
- 22:36Speaker 3: Brendan is now recovering.
- 22:38Speaker 2: While his family and doctors are stressing the importance of
- 22:41Speaker 2: CPR training and asthma awareness for preventing future emergencies, they
- 22:46Speaker 2: wanted to thank the teachers and those adults who likely
- 22:50Speaker 2: saved their kid's life.
- 22:51Speaker 3: And this is just another thing to remember.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Hey, your kids are around those teachers and those adults
- 22:56Speaker 2: in that school a lot. Yeah, they mean so much
- 22:59Speaker 2: to those kids, and it's just important that we get
- 23:03Speaker 2: back and help them when we can, just because of
- 23:07Speaker 2: the influence that they really do have over A your
- 23:09Speaker 2: kids and B just like the future. And I know
- 23:11Speaker 2: that's kind of corny to say, but no, the future true.
- 23:13Speaker 1: It takes a village, and the big part of the
- 23:16Speaker 1: village that helps raise your kid are the teachers and
- 23:20Speaker 1: the staff. I mean, your kids are spending a good
- 23:22Speaker 1: chunk of the day there, so it's always good to
- 23:24Speaker 1: support them and how awesome that the teachers and staff
- 23:27Speaker 1: helped this kid survive this incident.
- 23:31Speaker 2: Exactly so you can check out Clear the Cart on
- 23:33Speaker 2: the Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page, brought to
- 23:35Speaker 2: you by RIOND. Realty as we try to help teachers,
- 23:39Speaker 2: you know, in our surrounding area and just help take
- 23:42Speaker 2: a little bit of the financial burden off of them.
- 23:44Speaker 2: All right, that's gonna do it as far as good news,
- 23:47Speaker 2: and the world is full of nice people.
- 23:48Speaker 3: If you can't find one, you got to be one.
