- 1:35Speaker 1: to Believe in the Journey podcast where I'm your host,
- 1:38Speaker 1: Trevina Harris, and I want to thank you for tuning
- 1:41Speaker 1: in tonight. I have a very special guest tonight. It
- 1:45Speaker 1: is minister and author and the nominee for the Distinguished
- 1:51Speaker 1: Authors Guild Awards that is going on tonight. Her name
- 1:54Speaker 1: is Minister to Tamika Strickling, and we're going to talk
- 1:59Speaker 1: to her. She wrote a book in twenty nineteen called
- 2:01Speaker 1: The Identity Deception for Wounds to Worship, the life story
- 2:06Speaker 1: of evangelists to meet a strict one. So we're gonna
- 2:08Speaker 1: talk to her. But before we do anything, we're gonna
- 2:11Speaker 1: go to God in prayer. Dear Heavenly Father, thank you
- 2:14Speaker 1: for bringing us together as you do each and every
- 2:16Speaker 1: time we're in front of you. Everything that someone may
- 2:19Speaker 1: be going through and they need to hear from you,
- 2:22Speaker 1: Let the worst of my mouth, and my guess is
- 2:25Speaker 1: mouth to I be the humbling and listening ear that
- 2:28Speaker 1: they need to go through whatever it is that they're
- 2:31Speaker 1: going through, things that they may be ashamed to even
- 2:34Speaker 1: share with others. Let them understand that nothing that they
- 2:37Speaker 1: have been through has been in vain. Everything that they
- 2:40Speaker 1: have been through is necessary for you to get the glory.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Everything may look like darkness, but it's always the light
- 2:49Speaker 1: at the end of the tunnel. So we give you honor,
- 2:51Speaker 1: and we give you glory. We give you praise and
- 2:53Speaker 1: everything that we do. So let the words of our
- 2:55Speaker 1: mouths tonight fall upon the ears that need to hear
- 2:59Speaker 1: and heal them and ways that only you can. And
- 3:01Speaker 1: your precious and holy name, Jesus, sweet pray all right
- 3:06Speaker 1: to me, let's talk about you. So give them some
- 3:12Speaker 1: more information about you. I only did a little snippet
- 3:16Speaker 1: of introduction from you.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Well, I am minister to me because Strickland, I'm from
- 3:24Speaker 2: New Jersey. And I am an author of Identity Deception,
- 3:31Speaker 2: as you had already said, I'm also a co author
- 3:36Speaker 2: at least four times. I'm grateful for that opportunity just
- 3:41Speaker 2: to I'm so thankful because God always gives you the
- 3:47Speaker 2: opportunity to tell your truth. And sometimes when you tell
- 3:51Speaker 2: your truth and not everyone agreed with your truth right,
- 3:58Speaker 2: God for his grace, And because before that book was
- 4:03Speaker 2: even launched, it was like I had to deal with
- 4:07Speaker 2: my identity deception, my abandonment, my rejection, you know, my
- 4:14Speaker 2: sexual abuse that I dealt with at an early age.
- 4:19Speaker 2: I'm thankful for just the opportunity just to say yes
- 4:25Speaker 2: to do Gud's will, no matter what. And I'm grateful
- 4:31Speaker 2: just to just to be in this atmosphere. Thank you, queen.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Oh you are welcome. I want to ask you this.
- 4:40Speaker 1: You talked about struggling with your identity. What was the
- 4:46Speaker 1: hardest thing that you had to overcome before you started
- 4:50Speaker 1: to put the pens on paper to write the book?
- 4:55Speaker 2: The hardest thing. It's weird, but I went to this.
- 5:01Speaker 2: It was a class was writing a book. It was
- 5:07Speaker 2: called Release the Writer, and I was on fire after
- 5:15Speaker 2: the three days it was in Texas and when I
- 5:18Speaker 2: went back, I was working grave shift at the time,
- 5:23Speaker 2: so I had the opportunity to just write. I always said,
- 5:29Speaker 2: just write, just keep writing the truth, invite the Holy
- 5:34Speaker 2: Spirit in. And I wrote and I continue to write,
- 5:42Speaker 2: and it was like, this is my truth. It brought
- 5:47Speaker 2: out a lot of emotions, because anytime you are writing
- 5:54Speaker 2: about the things that you went through in your life,
- 5:59Speaker 2: things come up. I cried, I was angry. These are
- 6:03Speaker 2: the different things that I went through. I continued. I
- 6:08Speaker 2: thank God for my Auntie. God rests her soul. She
- 6:12Speaker 2: passed away last year and she was like, my ride
- 6:15Speaker 2: will die. And she was one of the first people
- 6:19Speaker 2: that I was like, Auntie, take a look at this.
- 6:23Speaker 2: So she took a look and she said, Meek, you
- 6:26Speaker 2: didn't go deep enough. And I was like what it
- 6:32Speaker 2: made me angry? She said, but you got to go deeper.
- 6:38Speaker 2: So I sat on it for a while, but then
- 6:42Speaker 2: I got connected to an editor and she helped me
- 6:47Speaker 2: just go deeper. You know, it's always important to have
- 6:51Speaker 2: somebody in your corner when you're telling your truth. You're
- 6:54Speaker 2: telling it's almost like your testimony and hope for yes,
- 7:00Speaker 2: thank God for that person. But that gave me the
- 7:03Speaker 2: opportunity to birth out my first baby. Identity deception from
- 7:09Speaker 2: what used the worship it started with that.
- 7:13Speaker 1: I feel like when you are writing about yourself and
- 7:17Speaker 1: your truth and your experiences, sometimes we don't want to
- 7:22Speaker 1: go too deep because we feel like I'm still trying
- 7:28Speaker 1: to save myself. Even that little girl that was that
- 7:33Speaker 1: all of those experiences happened to, you still want to
- 7:36Speaker 1: protect her and you don't want any harm to come
- 7:39Speaker 1: when you release what you've been holding in for so long.
- 7:44Speaker 1: And it's like, do I really want to be that
- 7:47Speaker 1: open and that vulnerable with whoever decides to pick up
- 7:51Speaker 1: this book. It's that release that you're going through. It's
- 7:55Speaker 1: that heartache, that anger, that emotion, that those tears, all
- 8:00Speaker 1: of that is wrapped into one and you're like, God,
- 8:03Speaker 1: look here, I'm now wait a minute. You want me
- 8:06Speaker 1: to release all of this And I don't even know
- 8:08Speaker 1: what to do in this moment that all of this
- 8:10Speaker 1: is coming out and I'm putting it on paper, and
- 8:13Speaker 1: you get so frustrated, because I know, for me, if
- 8:16Speaker 1: I got frustrated and I had to put it down
- 8:18Speaker 1: and walk away from it till I can get myself
- 8:21Speaker 1: back together. To complete it. So did you experience anything
- 8:25Speaker 1: like that?
- 8:26Speaker 2: Yes, I did.
- 8:28Speaker 1: It was very uncomfortable because when you look.
- 8:33Speaker 2: At what was written, you're like, wow, Yeah, that's the
- 8:40Speaker 2: reason why I invited the Holy Spirit, because when I
- 8:46Speaker 2: say he birthed that book out, he birthed that book out.
- 8:53Speaker 1: It's a nosy book, it's a nosy book.
- 9:01Speaker 2: That need to hear what I went through. They may
- 9:08Speaker 2: not necessarily identify with everything, but a lot of women,
- 9:14Speaker 2: including men, have gone through abandonment and rejection, yeah, type
- 9:19Speaker 2: of abuse, and.
- 9:22Speaker 1: I think a lot of people tend to hold that
- 9:24Speaker 1: in because they're embarrassed by what they went through because
- 9:27Speaker 1: they feel like there is an isolated incident that they're
- 9:32Speaker 1: the only one that went through it, so they don't
- 9:34Speaker 1: feel especially with men, I would say that most of
- 9:37Speaker 1: them get embarrassed by going through something that is a
- 9:42Speaker 1: stigma of only women go through, that only women go
- 9:46Speaker 1: through physical abuse and mental abuse and things of that nature.
- 9:50Speaker 1: But I think a lot of it stems from our
- 9:54Speaker 1: childhood of not being heard as children, little boys and
- 9:57Speaker 1: little girls when their parents don't listen to them expressing
- 10:01Speaker 1: hurt and pain. Because I know I grew up where
- 10:05Speaker 1: anytime I would say, well, my feelings were hurt. It
- 10:08Speaker 1: was always you don't have no feelings, You're not feeling anything,
- 10:11Speaker 1: And I'm like, but what you said was hurtful. So
- 10:15Speaker 1: I feel the need to be able to tell you
- 10:17Speaker 1: that you hurt my feelings. And you don't get to
- 10:19Speaker 1: judge me based on me telling you how I feel.
- 10:22Speaker 1: If I stop my toe, you don't get to tell
- 10:24Speaker 1: me that it doesn't hurt. If I hit my elbow,
- 10:27Speaker 1: you don't get to tell me that it doesn't hurt.
- 10:29Speaker 1: So let me express to you what you did and
- 10:32Speaker 1: what you said to me is hurtful. And how can
- 10:36Speaker 1: we communicate better this way? And I feel like a
- 10:40Speaker 1: lot of people don't understand that when you open yourself
- 10:44Speaker 1: up to put your thoughts and your feelings on paper
- 10:48Speaker 1: and in a book, you're opening up yourself to be
- 10:51Speaker 1: judged in a way that you may not be prepared for.
- 10:55Speaker 1: And it takes a strong level of vulnerability, It takes
- 10:59Speaker 1: a strong level of having your faith in God to
- 11:02Speaker 1: be able to get through that. And people are gonna
- 11:05Speaker 1: judge you. They're gonna because they haven't yet been through anything.
- 11:10Speaker 1: But one piece of advice my aunt gave me when
- 11:12Speaker 1: I was younger, and that was just keep living. And
- 11:15Speaker 1: I didn't understand what she meant by that. When I
- 11:18Speaker 1: was a little girl and it was always just keep living,
- 11:23Speaker 1: and I was like, what does that even mean? I
- 11:26Speaker 1: hope I do keep living, but I don't understand what
- 11:29Speaker 1: you mean by that. But it was basically simply to
- 11:32Speaker 1: say this, you may not experience it today, but tomorrow.
- 11:36Speaker 1: It's always a new day for you to experience something
- 11:39Speaker 1: that someone else is going through. So as long as
- 11:42Speaker 1: you keep living, you have an opportunity to experience what
- 11:45Speaker 1: someone else has either gone through, currently going through, or
- 11:49Speaker 1: trying to get through. And when you live, you will
- 11:53Speaker 1: know that it may not be yours today, but it
- 11:56Speaker 1: can very well be yours tomorrow. So absolutely, what advice
- 12:03Speaker 1: would you give to someone who is on the fence
- 12:06Speaker 1: about writing about their experiences through life.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Well, it's it's deep because the press came from God, right,
- 12:19Speaker 2: so it gained that unction. But with that, sometimes you
- 12:26Speaker 2: just gotta just start writing, whether it's typing or you're
- 12:30Speaker 2: just writing, yeah, and you're writing your feelings down, you're
- 12:36Speaker 2: writing the different things that you went through, and believe
- 12:40Speaker 2: it or not, there is some type of relief so
- 12:43Speaker 2: if you have this is this is what I was
- 12:46Speaker 2: always told. My testimony is a platform for ministry. So
- 12:52Speaker 2: whatever it is that you have gone through in your
- 12:54Speaker 2: life and you're still dealing with the with the pain
- 12:58Speaker 2: of it, sometimes it's easy just to just write your feelings. Now, Yeah,
- 13:04Speaker 2: you don't know what God is going to do. But
- 13:08Speaker 2: I say, just give yourself a chance. No matter what
- 13:12Speaker 2: someone says, oh no, don't do it. Why would you
- 13:16Speaker 2: do that?
- 13:17Speaker 1: Yeah, God is giving.
- 13:19Speaker 2: You that press, so go for take a chance because
- 13:24Speaker 2: we really don't know what's going to happen once we finish.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Yeah, just take a chance. I believe in being very
- 13:33Speaker 1: obedient to what God is telling us to do, but
- 13:37Speaker 1: it is oftentimes sometimes it's hard to be obedient. I
- 13:40Speaker 1: will say I have been one of those people where
- 13:43Speaker 1: even doing this, I was very afraid of speaking in public.
- 13:49Speaker 1: I still get stage right. Most people don't believe that
- 13:52Speaker 1: at all about me. But I am very shy when
- 13:55Speaker 1: it comes to certain things. But I have learned to
- 13:59Speaker 1: just be in the space. Like I meet people on
- 14:03Speaker 1: a regular basis, and for some reason, I have never
- 14:07Speaker 1: truly understand how people feel so comfortable with sharing their
- 14:12Speaker 1: experiences with me and I have been, you know, been
- 14:18Speaker 1: at the laundromat and I'm just trying to charge my phone,
- 14:20Speaker 1: just trying to sit in a space and just not
- 14:23Speaker 1: bother anyone, and they'll gravitate to me and start telling
- 14:27Speaker 1: me their life story. Be in the grocery store and
- 14:30Speaker 1: somebody will pass and I'm just speaking, saying, hey, how
- 14:33Speaker 1: you doing, and they start a whole conversation, and I'm like, god, what.
- 14:38Speaker 1: This wasn't my intention, But it was one incident where
- 14:44Speaker 1: I was coming home from work and I was like, well,
- 14:47Speaker 1: I need to stop at the Dollar General and get something.
- 14:50Speaker 1: But I passed two dollar Generals, so I went to
- 14:53Speaker 1: one that was really outside of where I needed to go,
- 14:57Speaker 1: and I went to that one, and as I'm waiting
- 15:00Speaker 1: in line to pay for my stuff, people began to
- 15:03Speaker 1: get frustrated because there was a gentleman that was in
- 15:05Speaker 1: front that he wanted to pay for a bag of ice. However,
- 15:11Speaker 1: the young lady that was running the register was it
- 15:14Speaker 1: was her second day, so she wasn't quite sure how
- 15:18Speaker 1: to ring it up, and then the register went down
- 15:22Speaker 1: in the middle of her, you know, ringing him out.
- 15:25Speaker 1: So people were getting frustrated in the line behind me,
- 15:29Speaker 1: and some ended up putting their stuff down and walking out,
- 15:33Speaker 1: and she was like, I'm so sorry. I was like, listen,
- 15:38Speaker 1: I'm patient. I ain't got nothing else to do, so
- 15:41Speaker 1: just take your time talk to whoever you need to
- 15:43Speaker 1: talk to. And she started telling me how she had
- 15:47Speaker 1: been praying for patients and I said, oh, okay, I said,
- 15:51Speaker 1: you don't understand the prayer that you prayed. And she
- 15:54Speaker 1: was like, what do you mean. I said, you don't
- 15:57Speaker 1: understand when you prayed for patience, God was going to
- 15:59Speaker 1: send you a situation to where you had to be patient,
- 16:03Speaker 1: I said, And you prayed for patience, you just expected
- 16:07Speaker 1: you to be able to develop the skill of being patient. Baby,
- 16:10Speaker 1: You're gonna be tested every time you pray and ask
- 16:13Speaker 1: God for patience, You pray and ask him for strength,
- 16:16Speaker 1: You pray and ask him for wisdom. You pray and
- 16:18Speaker 1: ask for understanding, trust, and believe He's gonna put you
- 16:21Speaker 1: in a situation where you have to develop the skill
- 16:24Speaker 1: that you that you're asking him for. And so she
- 16:27Speaker 1: was like, I said, I'm gonna tell you something. I
- 16:30Speaker 1: was not planning on coming to this location, but God
- 16:33Speaker 1: sent me here, I said, And this is the reason
- 16:36Speaker 1: he sent me here was to deliver this message to you.
- 16:39Speaker 1: I said. I don't pass two dollars generals on my
- 16:41Speaker 1: way over here, I said, And I could have been
- 16:43Speaker 1: home by now, I said. But this moment, in this
- 16:46Speaker 1: situation was for you. It had nothing to do with me.
- 16:49Speaker 1: I'm just in the space in which God wanted me
- 16:51Speaker 1: to be to tell you that you prayed for patience,
- 16:54Speaker 1: and baby, this is your time to understand that you
- 16:57Speaker 1: have to be patient with what God is teaching you
- 16:59Speaker 1: in this moment. So I've been a firm believer of
- 17:03Speaker 1: that that God wants you to be obedient and He's
- 17:07Speaker 1: gonna put you in situations, but it's up to us
- 17:09Speaker 1: to understand when to actually follow suit. Do you agree
- 17:13Speaker 1: with that in any way?
- 17:15Speaker 2: Absolutely? Absolutely.
- 17:20Speaker 1: You gotta believe that God will put you in places,
- 17:23Speaker 1: in spaces and connect you to people that is connected
- 17:27Speaker 1: to the destiny that He's called you for. And sometimes
- 17:31Speaker 1: you can run away from it. But if God wants you,
- 17:33Speaker 1: he gonna get you. He gonna getch you.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Trust me. I know.
- 17:41Speaker 1: What was one of the hardest things you've experienced through
- 17:44Speaker 1: your journey of getting to where you are right now.
- 17:49Speaker 2: Acceptance I'm just accepting that where I came from. Before
- 17:57Speaker 2: I got clean or I got saved, I didn't think
- 18:04Speaker 2: that my testimony would happen like let me explain. Okay,
- 18:14Speaker 2: so you come from abandonment, you come from molestation, and
- 18:21Speaker 2: all of that built the rocks the top.
- 18:27Speaker 1: The way.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Exactly angry all the time, didn't even understand why. But
- 18:37Speaker 2: what happened when God? I allowed God in. I didn't
- 18:45Speaker 2: grow up in church, but there's higher power that I
- 18:50Speaker 2: learned about in the recovery process. Showed me how to surrender,
- 18:58Speaker 2: and the stepping stone was that surrender, and then I
- 19:04Speaker 2: learned of faith. And then it continued. Because at that
- 19:11Speaker 2: particular time, I was identifying as a stud I didn't
- 19:17Speaker 2: know he was going to turn my life upside down
- 19:22Speaker 2: because I was comfortable in an uncomfortable situation. Well, when
- 19:29Speaker 2: I'm at Christ, it was like the spotlight was on me.
- 19:38Speaker 2: The surgery of the spirit was on the inside because
- 19:42Speaker 2: I was still walking as a man, talking as a man.
- 19:45Speaker 2: But the things that he was doing, you couldn't see it. First.
- 19:52Speaker 2: When you surrender and you give God an eternal yes, respect,
- 19:59Speaker 2: your life be turned upside down. It's not an easy transition,
- 20:04Speaker 2: and I thank God for who he is in my
- 20:08Speaker 2: life because I began to see from his perspective how
- 20:16Speaker 2: I lived. I lived from a place of destruction. He
- 20:21Speaker 2: had to clean me up first in order to really
- 20:25Speaker 2: deal with that inner trauma that was really obvious to
- 20:30Speaker 2: everyone around me but myself. I thank God because it's
- 20:39Speaker 2: a continuous journey to look on the inside, to water
- 20:45Speaker 2: your spiritual garden, to know who you are and who
- 20:49Speaker 2: you are A separation process is very important. He will
- 20:55Speaker 2: literally just sanctify you to create you. And you're like,
- 21:02Speaker 2: what is going on? Because all I ever hung around
- 21:05Speaker 2: with was people who identified the same as myself.
- 21:11Speaker 1: With the hurt that you were tearing and all the.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Pain that I was caring. He separated me from those people. Yeah,
- 21:21Speaker 2: and then it's like wow, now what. Yeah, it's like
- 21:29Speaker 2: now what. But as you just keep moving forward, he's
- 21:34Speaker 2: doing a mighty work within you that you don't even
- 21:38Speaker 2: realize that's being done.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Right. Sometimes you're the last one to even realize what
- 21:44Speaker 1: he's doing exactly exact.
- 21:48Speaker 2: To enjoy the process.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Mm hmm, Yeah, it's easy.
- 21:56Speaker 2: No, mm hmmm.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Nothing about the world with God as easy. And I
- 22:02Speaker 1: feel like when you start to recognize and build a
- 22:07Speaker 1: relationship with him. It is one of the hardest things
- 22:11Speaker 1: that you're going to go through. When I was going
- 22:14Speaker 1: through my separation with my kid's father and I was
- 22:19Speaker 1: starting to lean more to God because I stopped going
- 22:22Speaker 1: to church in my early teen years because I felt
- 22:27Speaker 1: like the church was so hypocritical because I would sit
- 22:31Speaker 1: upfront with the older women, and you hear the older
- 22:33Speaker 1: women talking about the young people that are coming in
- 22:35Speaker 1: the church, and it's like, you're supposed to be leading
- 22:39Speaker 1: by example, but they can't even come to you for
- 22:42Speaker 1: guidance because you're going to talk about them and you're
- 22:45Speaker 1: judging them in the house of the Lord. So I
- 22:47Speaker 1: don't even want to talk to you. I don't even
- 22:50Speaker 1: want to be around you. But this is what you do.
- 22:55Speaker 1: And that frustrated me so much, and so I was like,
- 22:58Speaker 1: you know what, church is not the space for me.
- 23:01Speaker 1: I don't want to be in a space or in
- 23:03Speaker 1: an environment where they're gonna judge the walk of someone
- 23:07Speaker 1: else as if they have never been through something themselves.
- 23:11Speaker 1: They've done very well at masking and hiding, but they
- 23:16Speaker 1: want to talk about the next person that's walking in,
- 23:18Speaker 1: that's coming to get clean. That's coming in surrendering, coming
- 23:21Speaker 1: to Christ. And just as they are broken, battered and brules,
- 23:26Speaker 1: they're coming to seek healing, but you already judging them
- 23:30Speaker 1: for even coming. Like they not dressed in the nicest
- 23:33Speaker 1: clothes the head the tolda hat for Sunday. They don't
- 23:36Speaker 1: have all of that, but they have themselves and they're
- 23:39Speaker 1: coming to surrender to God, but you judging them. So
- 23:43Speaker 1: I turned away from going to church. But when we
- 23:46Speaker 1: begin to go through our separation, I was like, God
- 23:49Speaker 1: is where I need to be. And so when I
- 23:54Speaker 1: did our committal ceremony with myself and my three children,
- 23:58Speaker 1: we did that and my dad said something to me
- 24:01Speaker 1: after that service, and that was prepared for your life
- 24:04Speaker 1: to be turned upside that, And I was like, why
- 24:09Speaker 1: would my life be turned upside down?
- 24:11Speaker 3: Now?
- 24:12Speaker 1: You know I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing.
- 24:15Speaker 1: He said, you don't understand when you start to give
- 24:17Speaker 1: your life to Christ, you're going to go through some
- 24:20Speaker 1: things you never even imagine that you don't even see coming.
- 24:24Speaker 1: And I didn't understand what he meant in that moment,
- 24:29Speaker 1: but I surely found out over time. I went through
- 24:37Speaker 1: my cousin's husband making a pass to me and being
- 24:41Speaker 1: put out of the house that I was renting from
- 24:43Speaker 1: them because I would not comply with his advances. I
- 24:48Speaker 1: ended up having a stroke in two thousand and nine,
- 24:51Speaker 1: losing the ability to use my rights my left side
- 24:56Speaker 1: being diagnosed with the brain aneurysm on top of that,
- 25:01Speaker 1: and so it was so much that was going on.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Me and my mom were not on the best of
- 25:06Speaker 1: speaking terms. My sister got upset with me and told
- 25:10Speaker 1: me that she wished that that angorism killed me. And
- 25:14Speaker 1: I mean, it's just so much stuff that went on,
- 25:17Speaker 1: and I was just like, God, what what am I
- 25:19Speaker 1: supposed to get from all of this. I'm still trying to,
- 25:24Speaker 1: you know, come to you and do what I'm supposed
- 25:26Speaker 1: to do and love from this space. But I want
- 25:31Speaker 1: to be angry. I want to be upset. I want
- 25:34Speaker 1: to treat people the way that they're treating me, and
- 25:37Speaker 1: I could not find a space to even treat them
- 25:41Speaker 1: in the same manner as if they were treating me.
- 25:44Speaker 1: My mom had told me she wished that I had
- 25:46Speaker 1: died and when I was twelve years old, and she
- 25:49Speaker 1: would often say that. And my mom passed away last
- 25:53Speaker 1: year and we were able to mend our relationship and
- 25:57Speaker 1: build I was able to give her the love that
- 26:01Speaker 1: she needed. But she walked, and she lived in a
- 26:03Speaker 1: life of pain and addiction and things of that nature.
- 26:06Speaker 1: So I could not be angry. I could not hold
- 26:10Speaker 1: that hatred or that bitterness towards her. And I thank
- 26:15Speaker 1: God every day that I wasn't able to be in
- 26:18Speaker 1: that mindset of being angry and bitter and carrying that around,
- 26:23Speaker 1: because I feel like if I was still carrying that anger,
- 26:26Speaker 1: that bitterness of the abandonment because I wasn't raised by
- 26:29Speaker 1: either parent, and being in a situation to where you're
- 26:34Speaker 1: not being raised by either parent, but you're constantly hearing
- 26:37Speaker 1: people talk about your parents, it makes you embarrassed to
- 26:42Speaker 1: actually be known as their child. But what I realized
- 26:47Speaker 1: I wasn't embarrassed by who she was. My mother was
- 26:51Speaker 1: everything that I needed her to be so that I
- 26:55Speaker 1: could become who I needed to be, you know. And
- 26:58Speaker 1: I forgave her along time ago because I needed her
- 27:04Speaker 1: in a way that she needed me, and so she
- 27:06Speaker 1: got to experience love that didn't come with pain before
- 27:09Speaker 1: she left this earth. And I'm grateful that God gave
- 27:12Speaker 1: me the opportunity to experience that with her. What was
- 27:21Speaker 1: the toughest thing that you heard from someone as you
- 27:25Speaker 1: begin your journey to turn your life over to God.
- 27:28Speaker 1: What was one of the hardest things that you had
- 27:30Speaker 1: to hear from somebody that you never thought would turn
- 27:33Speaker 1: on you?
- 27:36Speaker 2: Gay to Mika, That's what they would say because they
- 27:41Speaker 2: didn't believe in the power and the healing of God.
- 27:46Speaker 2: I was just finding out myself. So the things that
- 27:50Speaker 2: they would say, it was very hurtful. You know, why
- 27:56Speaker 2: don't you just stay as you are? But they don't
- 27:59Speaker 2: even understand that where I came from, in that lifestyle,
- 28:06Speaker 2: it was just trauma. There was no peace, you know,
- 28:11Speaker 2: there was no joy. I didn't know anything about that hm.
- 28:16Speaker 2: So the things that they said, my what my mom
- 28:23Speaker 2: she would say, Oh, you look just like that black
- 28:25Speaker 2: and word. And I became that person this by constantly
- 28:31Speaker 2: hearing the word curses. Parents don't understand that the choices
- 28:39Speaker 2: that they make when they hurt us with verbal abuse,
- 28:46Speaker 2: it literally will make you feel exactly what was stating
- 28:55Speaker 2: to us.
- 28:57Speaker 1: They don't They don't understand.
- 29:00Speaker 2: It should be just love. But because of their broken pieces,
- 29:09Speaker 2: they put their broken pieces onto us. When does the when?
- 29:16Speaker 2: When does it? When does the generational curse stop?
- 29:21Speaker 1: It should stop with us, because to recognize it's what
- 29:26Speaker 1: you've been through, you you have to give. You have
- 29:29Speaker 1: to make that decision for yourself if you're gonna continue
- 29:33Speaker 1: to carry their brokenness with you, right mm hmm.
- 29:41Speaker 2: It's a choice.
- 29:43Speaker 1: It definitely is a choice to carry someone else's burdens.
- 29:47Speaker 1: I made a post today not too long ago, where
- 29:53Speaker 1: I'm giving my my self permission to release what I
- 29:58Speaker 1: carried for so long. You know, I've carried everybody else's
- 30:04Speaker 1: hurt and their pain for a long time, and I
- 30:08Speaker 1: no longer want to carry they're burdens. I don't want
- 30:12Speaker 1: to carry them anymore. And it's not to say that
- 30:16Speaker 1: I don't care. It's not to say that I am upset,
- 30:22Speaker 1: I'm angry with them. I'm just not willing to carry
- 30:27Speaker 1: someone else's burdens that they refuse to acknowledge themselves. And
- 30:32Speaker 1: I'm giving myself permission to release that and let it
- 30:35Speaker 1: go because it's not mine to carry anymore. It's not
- 30:38Speaker 1: mine to protect anybody else at all. I gave it,
- 30:43Speaker 1: I let it go. I prayed about it, and I
- 30:46Speaker 1: gave it to God. Because it's not mine to carry,
- 30:48Speaker 1: and I can't carry what someone else is unwilling to
- 30:51Speaker 1: acknowledge for themselves. Being abused as a kid verbal abuse,
- 30:58Speaker 1: not necessarily physical abuse. But I was consistently told as
- 31:02Speaker 1: a child that I wasn't going to amount to anything.
- 31:05Speaker 1: I was gonna make it difficult for people to ever
- 31:08Speaker 1: want to do anything for me. I was going to
- 31:11Speaker 1: turn out to be a drug addict and an alcoholic,
- 31:14Speaker 1: just like my mother. And for years I believed that
- 31:17Speaker 1: as a little girl growing up, because that's what I
- 31:20Speaker 1: heard consistently, and it was always what happens in this
- 31:24Speaker 1: house stays in this house. And so they gave me
- 31:27Speaker 1: any and everything that I wanted materialistically, but they tore
- 31:31Speaker 1: they tried to tear my spirit down, and me being
- 31:35Speaker 1: the individual that God created me to be, I have
- 31:39Speaker 1: always been outspoken. You don't get to talk to me
- 31:42Speaker 1: crazy and me not say nothing back to you. I
- 31:45Speaker 1: don't care who you are. Don't talk to me crazy,
- 31:49Speaker 1: because I'm not talking to you crazy. I'm very respectful.
- 31:52Speaker 1: But what you say to me, I'm gonna say back
- 31:54Speaker 1: to you in a manner of it not being disrespectful,
- 31:58Speaker 1: but at the same time, you're gonna know that what
- 32:01Speaker 1: you said was hurtful. What you said was disrespectful, and
- 32:05Speaker 1: you have to take accountability for that. Whether you want
- 32:08Speaker 1: to take accountability for it today or tomorrow has absolutely
- 32:11Speaker 1: nothing to do with me. But you will know that
- 32:14Speaker 1: you hurt my feelings, you know. And growing up, I
- 32:19Speaker 1: want to say about ninth grade for me, I had
- 32:22Speaker 1: two teachers come to me and they were like one
- 32:25Speaker 1: of my teachers, my English teacher. She took me out
- 32:28Speaker 1: in the hallway and she was like, why are you
- 32:30Speaker 1: in my class? And I was like, what are you
- 32:32Speaker 1: talking about? Like this is a class I'm assigned to
- 32:35Speaker 1: be in. Like she was like, no, that's not what
- 32:37Speaker 1: I mean. Why are you in this low level English class?
- 32:41Speaker 1: And I said, because that's what they said I'm supposed
- 32:44Speaker 1: to be in. She said, listen, let me explain something
- 32:46Speaker 1: to you. She said, I don't think you're understanding. You
- 32:50Speaker 1: have missed days of school. It doesn't matter when you
- 32:54Speaker 1: come back any tests that I give you, you ace.
- 32:57Speaker 1: You may not even have read the material, are heard
- 33:00Speaker 1: what we're doing, but you asked all of the material
- 33:03Speaker 1: that I always give you, and you don't belong down here.
- 33:09Speaker 1: And I was like, well, I'm just doing I'm just
- 33:11Speaker 1: in a space where they tell me I'm supposed to be.
- 33:14Speaker 1: If this is where I'm supposed to be, that's where
- 33:16Speaker 1: I'm gonna be. She said, well, we're not going to
- 33:19Speaker 1: have that, because you belonged somewhere else and this is
- 33:22Speaker 1: not it. And I said yes, ma'am. And then I
- 33:24Speaker 1: had my math teacher. My grades started falling in her class,
- 33:29Speaker 1: and she took me in the hallway too. She said,
- 33:32Speaker 1: what is going on with you? And I said, what
- 33:34Speaker 1: do you mean? And at that time, I had been
- 33:37Speaker 1: dating the most popular football player at that time, and
- 33:41Speaker 1: it was a sexual assault that happened, and me trying
- 33:46Speaker 1: to talk to the school members about it. Nobody wanted
- 33:50Speaker 1: to believe that. Nobody wanted to wow damage his image,
- 33:56Speaker 1: so I still had to carry that. And it was
- 34:01Speaker 1: like they cared more about being labeled or whatever and
- 34:07Speaker 1: had that label being put on him than to protect
- 34:11Speaker 1: a young woman. So I felt unseen and unheard, and
- 34:14Speaker 1: so my grades started to fall because of that. And
- 34:18Speaker 1: so when I was talking to her about it, she
- 34:22Speaker 1: was like, well, I will always be with you, and
- 34:25Speaker 1: you'll always have somebody to protect you and to care
- 34:28Speaker 1: for you, and you know, it took them saying that
- 34:33Speaker 1: to me to let me know that I was not
- 34:37Speaker 1: who my family was saying that I was. So it
- 34:41Speaker 1: took some time, it took some understanding. But as I've
- 34:45Speaker 1: gotten older, I understand that God has always been with
- 34:49Speaker 1: me through each and every hardship that I've gone through
- 34:53Speaker 1: in this life. That God has always connected to pieces
- 34:57Speaker 1: when they needed to be connected.
- 35:00Speaker 2: Wow, thank you for that.
- 35:06Speaker 1: Listen, I talked you it's to worship. Oh yeah, yeah.
- 35:11Speaker 1: I did a book called Overcoming Childhood Trauma My Journey
- 35:16Speaker 1: to Healing, And when I told you, that book took
- 35:20Speaker 1: me through an emotional roller coaster because I talked about
- 35:27Speaker 1: everything that I experienced as a child, not being raised
- 35:31Speaker 1: by my mom, not having a good relationship with my father,
- 35:36Speaker 1: just those things in general. As you are growing up
- 35:39Speaker 1: with your family, you see them being with their moms
- 35:42Speaker 1: and their dads, and here I am. I get to
- 35:45Speaker 1: see my mom once every three to six months. I
- 35:49Speaker 1: lived with her when I turned nine years old, and
- 35:54Speaker 1: every weekend her and my stepfather were fighting, so one
- 36:00Speaker 1: of them was going to jail. And it was one
- 36:02Speaker 1: weekend where they both went to jail, and I'm eight
- 36:06Speaker 1: years old. My brother is seven years old, and during
- 36:10Speaker 1: that time, it's in the eighties, So when both parents
- 36:14Speaker 1: went to jail, they didn't take the kids, so we
- 36:19Speaker 1: were just there. And so I had to walk down
- 36:21Speaker 1: the street, me and my brother to the Hearties to
- 36:24Speaker 1: call my aunt to come and pick us up because
- 36:26Speaker 1: both of the adults had gone to jail. So it's like,
- 36:31Speaker 1: that is a life that I lived, being around the
- 36:34Speaker 1: physical abuse, the verbal abuse, and all of those things.
- 36:39Speaker 1: Let me know that what I was embarrassed about as
- 36:43Speaker 1: a kid growing up were all things that were necessary
- 36:48Speaker 1: for me to be able to be in this space
- 36:50Speaker 1: to share what I've gone through and not be embarrassed
- 36:54Speaker 1: about it. It might be tea to somebody today, but
- 36:57Speaker 1: it's a testimony for me today and tomorrow because I'm
- 37:00Speaker 1: always gonna share what I've been through, and I'm not
- 37:04Speaker 1: ashamed of what I've gone through, because if I'm ashamed
- 37:07Speaker 1: of it, how can I heal from it. I can't
- 37:10Speaker 1: heal from what I don't acknowledge. You know, we have
- 37:13Speaker 1: deeply rooted wounds that we have, and sometimes we keep
- 37:17Speaker 1: them covered up because we are afraid to be judged.
- 37:21Speaker 1: We're afraid to be talked about because we don't want
- 37:23Speaker 1: people to talk about us or judge us based on
- 37:27Speaker 1: our past. But you were dirty yesterday, but that don't
- 37:31Speaker 1: mean you can't get clean in the process. You know,
- 37:39Speaker 1: like we all have been dirty, we've all been through something.
- 37:42Speaker 1: We've all had scars that we wish we never had
- 37:46Speaker 1: to endure. But I feel like the verbal scars are
- 37:49Speaker 1: the ones that last the longest. Because a physical scar,
- 37:53Speaker 1: those wounds healed, but those verbal scars they last a
- 37:57Speaker 1: lifetime because you never forget what a person said to
- 38:00Speaker 1: you and how you felt in that moment when they
- 38:03Speaker 1: said it.
- 38:05Speaker 2: That's true, that's true.
- 38:09Speaker 1: What impact do you feel that your book has made
- 38:12Speaker 1: to those who have read it? What do you hope
- 38:16Speaker 1: that it has made for them?
- 38:19Speaker 2: Well? You know what was impactful when you have older
- 38:25Speaker 2: women and they come to you and they say, I
- 38:29Speaker 2: may not have experienced to lesbianism, but I dealt with
- 38:35Speaker 2: the abuse, the abandonment, the rejection, and I thank you
- 38:40Speaker 2: for your courage and your honesty just to be truthful.
- 38:45Speaker 2: Yeah know, like I said before, it may not be
- 38:49Speaker 2: for everyone, and that's okay, But the ones that have
- 38:54Speaker 2: read it, they were like, wow, Yeah, one woman she said,
- 38:59Speaker 2: she pride because I went through so much and then
- 39:04Speaker 2: towards where that that that turning, That turning. Yeah, when
- 39:10Speaker 2: when the Lord literally just stepped into your life and
- 39:14Speaker 2: you allow him in because remember free will. Yes, when
- 39:20Speaker 2: you say yes, all things you say yes. So it's
- 39:30Speaker 2: just been very impactful for people that have got an
- 39:38Speaker 2: identity deception and have said that it changed their life.
- 39:45Speaker 2: You know, that's why I said that book. God birthed
- 39:50Speaker 2: that book out. I could never have birthed that book out.
- 39:54Speaker 2: It was God or they, you know.
- 39:57Speaker 4: And from the top to the bottom, I think for
- 40:01Speaker 4: who He is in my life, you know, I'm just grateful.
- 40:07Speaker 4: So it is impactful when you open yourself up and
- 40:13Speaker 4: be truthful with yourself, yes, you know, because see, trauma
- 40:20Speaker 4: will keep you in denial, yes, yes, now, it will
- 40:25Speaker 4: literally keep you in denial about what's really going on
- 40:29Speaker 4: in your life because see you got the blame game.
- 40:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:34Speaker 1: But when you get.
- 40:36Speaker 2: Real with yourself, to my own self, be true, change
- 40:43Speaker 2: is possible. But look also when you get sick and
- 40:46Speaker 2: tired of being yourself, change is possible. Absolutely absolutely.
- 40:56Speaker 1: You got to when you hear yourself say the same
- 41:00Speaker 1: stuff over and over again, you have reached a point
- 41:04Speaker 1: of I either gotta change this or I'm just gonna
- 41:08Speaker 1: stay where I am and I can't speak of this
- 41:10Speaker 1: no more. And when you get tired of yourself, you
- 41:15Speaker 1: know it's time to make some changes. And does give
- 41:19Speaker 1: us free will, Lord, he gives us free will, and
- 41:23Speaker 1: that free will oftentimes leads us down a road of destruction.
- 41:29Speaker 1: And it's like, God, look you you let me have
- 41:33Speaker 1: my say, you let me do it my way, and
- 41:36Speaker 1: look where it let me. I'm gonna come on back.
- 41:38Speaker 1: My head it's tucked between my tail, but you still
- 41:41Speaker 1: accept me as I am, and you still know that
- 41:45Speaker 1: I'm willing to be molded in the way that you
- 41:48Speaker 1: see fit. And we oftentimes, I know, for me, some
- 41:52Speaker 1: days I'm like, I don't call it him seventeen times,
- 41:55Speaker 1: and he like, look, I won't talk to you no more. Today.
- 41:58Speaker 1: You don't talk to me from the time of your
- 41:59Speaker 1: eye open, and I'm like, God, look, I got a
- 42:02Speaker 1: couple more questions about this situation are either when I'm
- 42:05Speaker 1: at work, because I work in healthcare and in some
- 42:08Speaker 1: days where them patients be coming in and they be
- 42:11Speaker 1: testing me to the and I'm like, Lord, I know
- 42:15Speaker 1: I pray to you this morning to help me to
- 42:18Speaker 1: hold my tongue in a space to where I can
- 42:22Speaker 1: still be professional and keep my job. But these people,
- 42:25Speaker 1: your children, are testing the waters this morning, and it's
- 42:29Speaker 1: it's just starting to it was starting to be a
- 42:31Speaker 1: little lukewarm. It's starting to simmer, and it's about to
- 42:34Speaker 1: start balling. So come get your kids. Come, come come
- 42:39Speaker 1: on down here and get your kids, because they ain't
- 42:40Speaker 1: acting up and I don't know how much longer I'm
- 42:43Speaker 1: gonna have to take it from them. So come come
- 42:45Speaker 1: get your kids. Okay, come come get your children. D
- 42:48Speaker 1: ain't They ain't acting like you raised them, and I
- 42:51Speaker 1: don't want to have to raise them today. I don't
- 42:53Speaker 1: want to have to do that. So I'm gonna need
- 42:55Speaker 1: you to help me. And it's like one of those
- 42:58Speaker 1: things and people like you talked to guy that way. Yes,
- 43:00Speaker 1: that's the relationship him and I have. I got to
- 43:02Speaker 1: know him for myself. Now, whatever relationship you have with him,
- 43:06Speaker 1: that's how y'all talk to each other. But me and him,
- 43:09Speaker 1: we talk like we've been knowing each other for a
- 43:11Speaker 1: lifetime because we have. I'm just learning him in a
- 43:14Speaker 1: different way, in a different aspect because in twenty thirteen,
- 43:20Speaker 1: I lost my ability to speak, so he gave me
- 43:25Speaker 1: an opportunity to speak in a way that magnifies him
- 43:31Speaker 1: and everything that he's done for me and how he's
- 43:33Speaker 1: brought me out of those situations when man said that
- 43:37Speaker 1: I should not be doing what I'm doing today. So
- 43:40Speaker 1: I'm gonna talk about him, and I'm gonna talk to
- 43:43Speaker 1: him until he decides that it's time for me to
- 43:46Speaker 1: talk to him in person. So until then, you gonna
- 43:49Speaker 1: hear me talk about him. And if you don't want
- 43:51Speaker 1: to hear me talk about him, then I just suggest
- 43:53Speaker 1: you don't talk to me because I'm gonna talk about gun.
- 43:56Speaker 1: That's just what I'm gonna do. So you suit your
- 43:59Speaker 1: said without you're just yourself with that one, because I'm
- 44:04Speaker 1: gonna talk about him because I know how hard it
- 44:08Speaker 1: is to go through life and not even know who
- 44:10Speaker 1: he is. Because some people are fighting a battle that
- 44:16Speaker 1: they don't know how to get out of until they
- 44:20Speaker 1: come to God, you know. But some people that free
- 44:24Speaker 1: will has them in a choke hold, and it's like, Lord,
- 44:29Speaker 1: I want to do to do right my baby sister,
- 44:33Speaker 1: I was just having a conversation with her not too
- 44:35Speaker 1: long ago, and she was like, why do I keep
- 44:38Speaker 1: going through the same situations I'm going through and I
- 44:42Speaker 1: don't pray it and I'm not. I said, it's because
- 44:45Speaker 1: you like to be in the midst of what you're
- 44:48Speaker 1: in the midst of. I said, so until you actually
- 44:52Speaker 1: surrender and give God all of the power to dictate
- 44:57Speaker 1: your steps, you gonna continue to fight these battles over
- 45:00Speaker 1: and over again because you're not listening to the instructions
- 45:04Speaker 1: that He's given you. I said, So, if you really
- 45:08Speaker 1: want to be at peace and stay in peace, you
- 45:10Speaker 1: gotta quit invite in the same spirits that got you
- 45:13Speaker 1: where you are. I said, so until you ready to
- 45:17Speaker 1: do that, you're gonna keep fighting the same demons over
- 45:21Speaker 1: and over again because you keep allowing them to come back.
- 45:24Speaker 1: They come in with different faces, but the attitudes and
- 45:27Speaker 1: everything that they carry is still the same. You see
- 45:31Speaker 1: in a different face with the same spirit, and you're
- 45:33Speaker 1: not willing to let go of the spirits, I said,
- 45:35Speaker 1: So it doesn't matter where you move, You've already moved twice.
- 45:39Speaker 1: And what are you still dealing with? I said, so
- 45:42Speaker 1: you're not at peace. You keep carrying it with you
- 45:44Speaker 1: because you feel like, since it's showing up with a
- 45:47Speaker 1: different face, a different body, that you're not gonna deal
- 45:50Speaker 1: with it again. You're going to deal with it until
- 45:53Speaker 1: you really give God all of you and not just
- 45:57Speaker 1: part of.
- 45:59Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 46:01Speaker 1: So she was just like, but sis, I said, I
- 46:04Speaker 1: don't want to hear it. Don't but assist me. I'm
- 46:07Speaker 1: telling you what you need to hear. You don't want
- 46:09Speaker 1: to hear it because it's coming from me, and I've
- 46:12Speaker 1: been through some of the situations that you've been through.
- 46:15Speaker 1: But you don't want to hear it. You want God
- 46:18Speaker 1: to operate on your time, and God doesn't operate on
- 46:21Speaker 1: your time. God operates on his own, I said, And
- 46:23Speaker 1: you probably prayed a prayer to God answered the day
- 46:26Speaker 1: you prayed it, I said, But yet you can't see
- 46:29Speaker 1: it because your blinders are still on because you wanted
- 46:31Speaker 1: to come in a fairy tale setting. But I'm gonna
- 46:35Speaker 1: take you through some things in order for you to
- 46:37Speaker 1: receive that. And if you're not open to going through
- 46:40Speaker 1: the valley the darkness to get there where you need
- 46:43Speaker 1: to be, Baby, you gonna keep going through all of that,
- 46:46Speaker 1: I said, because God ain't gonna take you straight to it.
- 46:49Speaker 1: He's gonna take you through it to get where you
- 46:52Speaker 1: need to be.
- 46:53Speaker 2: Say that.
- 46:55Speaker 1: She gonna get it. Though she gonna get it, I'm
- 46:57Speaker 1: gonna keep praying for it because that's my baby's and
- 47:00Speaker 1: she hard headed and she is my mama one hundred percent. Yeah,
- 47:08Speaker 1: So I tell her all the time, and she used
- 47:11Speaker 1: to be so mad with me, but as she's gotten older,
- 47:13Speaker 1: she understands why I say that. She doesn't drink like
- 47:16Speaker 1: our mom did and she doesn't smoke like our mom did.
- 47:20Speaker 1: So it's just one of those things of her coming
- 47:24Speaker 1: to terms and recognizing the mannerisms of our mom. And
- 47:31Speaker 1: I love my mom dearly, but that woman, one woman
- 47:36Speaker 1: will tell you off, especially if she had a couple
- 47:39Speaker 1: of drinks in her her liquid courage trying to she
- 47:41Speaker 1: would say some things to you that would make you
- 47:44Speaker 1: question who you are. And I know what that feels
- 47:49Speaker 1: like to have someone that you love and care about
- 47:53Speaker 1: the most tried them their best to tear you down.
- 47:57Speaker 1: And I never want people to be my presence to
- 48:00Speaker 1: feel that type of hurt, our pain. So where can
- 48:08Speaker 1: they find your books? And do you have any other
- 48:10Speaker 1: books that are in the works. I know you've been
- 48:12Speaker 1: part of a few anthologies. What are the names of those.

- 49:09Speaker 1: I have.

- 49:26Speaker 2: the steps to stay walking in freedom walking and deliverance,
- 49:32Speaker 2: you know that healing power because it's not easy because
- 49:36Speaker 2: the enemy always always, he's always is real, you know.
- 49:45Speaker 2: But there's nothing for me back there. I've tried everything,
- 49:51Speaker 2: did everything. Once you surrender's no going back. No, I
- 49:59Speaker 2: can't even imagine. I was in it for thirty years.
- 50:02Speaker 2: Thirty years I lived in that lifestyle. So I had
- 50:06Speaker 2: to learn how to walk, talk. They had to take
- 50:10Speaker 2: me different places, you know, to dress as a woman.
- 50:14Speaker 2: I'm finally comfortable in my own skin. That's a blessing.
- 50:19Speaker 2: That's God, that's the Holy Spirit, nothing like you.
- 50:24Speaker 1: Yes, God can do some things I tell you that
- 50:28Speaker 1: man cannot. Then look, it takes God himself to move
- 50:34Speaker 1: the mountains that we think are unmovable. Do you have
- 50:38Speaker 1: an email address or website that they can go to
- 50:42Speaker 1: purchase your books? And what's your cash app? Angrselle so

- 52:09Speaker 1: to have on the other side has been truly life changing,
- 52:14Speaker 1: a beautiful experience. You're still going through and accepting the

- 52:27Speaker 1: and every time you open your mouth to share your
- 52:29Speaker 1: story with someone else, even if it is a small

- 52:35Speaker 1: know that it is an honor and a privilege for
- 52:39Speaker 1: you to be able to share what God has done
