- 1:08Speaker 3: a great holiday season. I did do episodes on my
- 1:12Speaker 3: Patreon in which I covered my holiday, my holidays, my Christmas,
- 1:16Speaker 3: what I did, more details on this celebrity wedding, which
- 1:20Speaker 3: I'll get into in a minute that I attended, and
- 1:23Speaker 3: so much fun. So that's all on Patreon. You go
- 1:26Speaker 3: to heathermcdonald.net, you click on Patreon, you join that. dropped
- 1:29Speaker 3: a bunch of episodes over the holidays there that are
- 1:33Speaker 3: all the juiciest stuff. But for you right now, we
- 1:37Speaker 3: have got it going on. Okay, so let's get into it.
- 1:40Speaker 3: So yes, I went to a New Year's Eve wedding
- 1:44Speaker 3: and it was technically not in Palm Beach. And that's
- 1:48Speaker 3: very important because there's a new show on Netflix called
- 1:53Speaker 3: Members Only Palm Beach or Palm Beach Members Only on Netflix,
- 1:57Speaker 3: which I believe is Netflix's first attempt to kind of
- 2:01Speaker 3: get into the Real Housewives world without saying Real Housewives.
- 2:05Speaker 3: But it's the way they do the Netflix shows. It's
- 2:07Speaker 3: kind of like Owning Manhattan and all the Selling Sunsets.
- 2:11Speaker 3: It's a little more glossy. It has all those kind
- 2:14Speaker 3: of songs like, yeah, I'm a gold digger. That's what
- 2:17Speaker 3: I do. I got my yacht and everyone poo, you know, whatever,
- 2:19Speaker 3: those dumb songs. And so But this glossy and it's
- 2:23Speaker 3: fun and it premiered just like last week in that
- 2:29Speaker 3: kind of dead week of where you're like, what day
- 2:32Speaker 3: is it? And what am I doing? And the kids
- 2:34Speaker 3: aren't back in school yet. Do I take down the
- 2:36Speaker 3: tree or do I just sit here and binge members
- 2:39Speaker 3: only on Netflix? So I have a very special guest
- 2:43Speaker 3: from the show that we're going to interview her. And
- 2:46Speaker 3: you're going to hear that on this episode later after
- 2:48Speaker 3: I get through some updates and hot topics. But the
- 2:52Speaker 3: show is ridiculous. It's addictive. It's funny. It's real estate porn.
- 2:59Speaker 3: It's beautiful. But one of the things which I will
- 3:02Speaker 3: be talking to my guest Hillary about is the Palm
- 3:06Speaker 3: Beach versus West Palm Beach, and not everybody lives in
- 3:08Speaker 3: Palm Beach. And I don't really get why that's such
- 3:12Speaker 3: a big deal when we've been watching Real Housewives shows
- 3:14Speaker 3: for years when Kim Richards, in the beginning of Real
- 3:18Speaker 3: Housewives of Beverly Hills, lived in Westlake Village in a rental.
- 3:22Speaker 3: Dorit and Kyle owned in Encino. These are not Beverly
- 3:26Speaker 3: Hills homes. So I think It's just it's you know,
- 3:31Speaker 3: they're just trying to give you something entertaining. And I
- 3:34Speaker 3: believe this show is there's these people don't totally match up.
- 3:38Speaker 3: They don't all seem like they would ever really be
- 3:40Speaker 3: friends and hang out. I don't know if it's coming
- 3:43Speaker 3: for a second season. Maybe Hillary will know. And would
- 3:48Speaker 3: they recast anybody? But, you know, in my juicy scoop
- 3:53Speaker 3: obsessed private Facebook page, people really were into it. You
- 3:56Speaker 3: can criticize it. but they watched it. And it's better
- 4:00Speaker 3: that it's a rage bait show that gets people to
- 4:02Speaker 3: watch and binge the whole thing. Then if it was
- 4:05Speaker 3: so boring, you didn't bother to watch it at all.
- 4:07Speaker 3: Like Meghan Markle and Harry's series about hot polo players
- 4:12Speaker 3: living in Santa Barbara. You're like, what? There was a
- 4:14Speaker 3: show like that? Yeah, it was on Netflix. Nobody watched it.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Nobody cared. I tried. It just didn't catch me. And
- 4:21Speaker 3: so this did. And of course it's, you know, somewhat
- 4:24Speaker 3: controversial and everything, which we will get into it. So Technically,
- 4:29Speaker 3: I said I was in Palm Beach for this wedding.
- 4:31Speaker 3: It was at the beautiful home of Rachel Uchitel and
- 4:35Speaker 3: now her husband, Dan, and they did a beautiful wedding
- 4:40Speaker 3: on New Year's Eve in their backyard. It was absolutely stunning.
- 4:44Speaker 3: I am not really a fan of New Year's Eve.
- 4:47Speaker 3: So when I got invited to a New Year's Eve
- 4:48Speaker 3: wedding in a warm location, technically Palm Beach adjacent, okay?
- 4:54Speaker 3: I had done shows in Palm Beach like a year
- 4:57Speaker 3: and a half ago and I absolutely loved it. And
- 5:00Speaker 3: I knew that Jill Zarin would be going as well.
- 5:03Speaker 3: And she lives over in Boca. So I got to
- 5:06Speaker 3: spend time with her on New Year's Day and spent
- 5:09Speaker 3: the night and In my next life, I want Jill
- 5:12Speaker 3: Zarin to be my wife, not in a sexual way,
- 5:15Speaker 3: just in a way that like she made me homemade
- 5:18Speaker 3: matzo ball soup for my slight hangover of New Year's Eve,
- 5:22Speaker 3: homemade ice cream, the comfiest bed that you've ever gotten into.
- 5:27Speaker 3: Like she's just, she's very much that woman. And even
- 5:31Speaker 3: when we went to go play Padel, which is like
- 5:34Speaker 3: the new rich person's pickleball, she's filming me being like,
- 5:38Speaker 3: look at you, Heather. Look at you go. Look, I'm
- 5:41Speaker 3: horrible at it. And she's just, so I need her
- 5:44Speaker 3: to be my wife slash mother in my next life.
- 5:46Speaker 3: But anyway, we had so much fun and we even
- 5:50Speaker 3: went out to dinner one night before the wedding. And
- 5:54Speaker 3: I ran into the infamous Harry Dubin, who I'd met
- 5:57Speaker 3: before when I was out there a year and a
- 6:00Speaker 3: half ago, actually, with Rachel. He was not at the wedding.
- 6:03Speaker 3: But the same night that I ran into Ramona Singer,
- 6:07Speaker 3: she was at this bar along with Harry Dubin. Then
- 6:09Speaker 3: this other night, I went out to dinner during this
- 6:11Speaker 3: last time. Harry Dubin was there with another cute blonde woman.
- 6:16Speaker 3: He seems to get them all. I also ran into
- 6:19Speaker 3: Ramona Singer at the Colony. And she's like, oh, my God,
- 6:23Speaker 3: what are you doing here? And she had a new guy.
- 6:26Speaker 3: He's a really nice guy. He's really, you know, he
- 6:29Speaker 3: was very dressed, very nice. And we're just going to
- 6:31Speaker 3: have a little cocktail before our holiday party for New
- 6:34Speaker 3: Year's Eve.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:35Speaker 3: Living in Palm Beach. And so it was so fun.
- 6:40Speaker 3: And the wedding was absolutely gorgeous. And there's more pictures
- 6:44Speaker 3: on my Instagram. And I think I got a little
- 6:47Speaker 3: bit of press this weekend because I went to Hillary's
- 6:52Speaker 3: house the day of the premiere of the Netflix show.
- 6:56Speaker 3: And she had some press there for a little like
- 6:58Speaker 3: luncheon premiere party. And then, of course, Rachel's wedding was
- 7:03Speaker 3: in People magazine and stuff like that. So Made it very,
- 7:08Speaker 3: very fun for me. Okay. So moving on. Oh, so
- 7:14Speaker 3: also let's talk about some other New Year's Eve scoop.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Alex Earl, who I've spoken many times about, she is
- 7:19Speaker 3: just like the number one influencer. She was on Dancing
- 7:22Speaker 3: with the Stars. She really popped a couple of years ago.
- 7:25Speaker 3: She's very attractive and girls just love her. They love
- 7:29Speaker 3: her personality and her style. She broke up with her
- 7:31Speaker 3: very cute professional football player boyfriend named Braxton and found
- 7:35Speaker 3: herself at a party in Aspen. I think it was Aspen.
- 7:39Speaker 3: Maybe it was St.
- 7:39Speaker 5: Barts.
- 7:39Speaker 3: I can't keep track of where everybody was. Half the
- 7:42Speaker 3: people were in Aspen and the other half were in St.
- 7:44Speaker 3: Barts on New Year's Eve. That were like big celebrities. Oh,
- 7:47Speaker 3: and then there was me. Okay. My thing, which I
- 7:50Speaker 3: was very thrilled about.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:52Speaker 3: The big stories were coming out of those two places.
- 7:54Speaker 3: And Alex Earle and Tom Brady were seen snuggling up,
- 8:00Speaker 3: giving each other little like tickle back rubs or whatever.
- 8:05Speaker 3: And people were kind of dying over it because, you know,
- 8:08Speaker 3: she broke up with a football player. This is probably
- 8:11Speaker 3: his hero. And who knows if it's going anywhere. I
- 8:16Speaker 3: think it was kind of badass that she was flirting
- 8:19Speaker 3: with him. I hope it doesn't. He's much too old
- 8:21Speaker 3: for her. He has four kids. That's not where a
- 8:24Speaker 3: 25-year-old should be headed, but that was fun. There were
- 8:30Speaker 3: also in Aspen, so there was a party in Aspen
- 8:33Speaker 3: that I believe Kate Hudson threw, and it was, you know,
- 8:39Speaker 3: Brooke Nader, who's like this new, she has her her
- 8:44Speaker 3: own series with her model-like sister. She's a model. She
- 8:47Speaker 3: has a good personality. She's gorgeous. She was on Dancing
- 8:50Speaker 3: with the Stars. She and her sisters wanted to be seen.
- 8:52Speaker 3: They went out for New Year's Eve to this party
- 8:55Speaker 3: and they were just wearing body suits and like the
- 8:59Speaker 3: Taylor Swift, like thick, shiny, like roller skating type nylons
- 9:04Speaker 3: with just like after ski high boots and like, you know,
- 9:08Speaker 3: a jacket and And this is the thing to do,
- 9:11Speaker 3: to get seen like that. Like, wear a kind of
- 9:13Speaker 3: crazy outfit, and the paparazzi, either you call them or
- 9:17Speaker 3: you make sure that your weird outfit gets featured. But,
- 9:21Speaker 3: you know, they have good bodies, so that was that.
- 9:23Speaker 3: But also at this New Year's Eve party, which I
- 9:26Speaker 3: don't know if it's the same one that Kate was throwing,
- 9:29Speaker 3: but Kyle of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Mauricio,
- 9:33Speaker 3: who are technically... friendly, separated, living in two different residences,
- 9:38Speaker 3: they got together and they were seen watching a movie
- 9:42Speaker 3: together over the holidays. One of their daughters put it
- 9:45Speaker 3: on their Instagram, like when your parents are, you know,
- 9:48Speaker 3: eating popcorn, watching a movie together. So that seemed like
- 9:52Speaker 3: a very natural, loving thing to do. And then they
- 9:56Speaker 3: were seen allegedly getting snuggly at this New Year's Eve party.
- 10:00Speaker 3: So what is going on there? Well, also the next
- 10:05Speaker 3: day I saw in the news that she confirmed Kyle
- 10:09Speaker 3: Richards that she bought a house in Tennessee. Well, I
- 10:14Speaker 3: believe Morgan Wade, being a country singer, probably owns a
- 10:18Speaker 3: house in Nashville, Tennessee as well. And if you're watching
- 10:23Speaker 3: Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle has said without saying
- 10:27Speaker 3: her name, I had a very significant relationship. I felt
- 10:31Speaker 3: hard for this person. She doesn't say he or she,
- 10:35Speaker 3: but that person no longer wanted to be in the
- 10:37Speaker 3: limelight of this life. And so it wasn't up to me.
- 10:41Speaker 3: So the first speculation is No, she's not getting back
- 10:46Speaker 3: together with her husband, but they have a great friendship
- 10:50Speaker 3: or whatever. Or maybe they do have a booty call
- 10:53Speaker 3: once in a while. I don't know. But that a
- 10:58Speaker 3: lot of people like buying in Tennessee. I think it's
- 11:00Speaker 3: one of those states where you get like a tax
- 11:02Speaker 3: break and people love Nashville. And a lot of Californians
- 11:05Speaker 3: have gone there and it's a fun vibe. And so
- 11:09Speaker 3: maybe she wouldn't have a property solely in her name.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Maybe.
- 11:13Speaker 3: this is leading up to a future of doing other
- 11:17Speaker 3: documentaries about lesbian country stars. I'm going to make you
- 11:21Speaker 3: love my, I don't know. I don't know. But, you know,
- 11:24Speaker 3: I think it's smart to kind of plan for a
- 11:26Speaker 3: future that might not be you continuing your life on
- 11:31Speaker 3: Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as you enter what I
- 11:34Speaker 3: like to call like the third or fourth chapter of
- 11:36Speaker 3: your life, you know, post like 55-ish. What do you
- 11:40Speaker 3: want that world to be? As your kids all get older,
- 11:43Speaker 3: as Portia goes off to college, you know, wouldn't it
- 11:47Speaker 3: be fun to just live a Nashville late-in-life lesbian hoedown?
- 11:53Speaker 3: I think it could be very nice. Anyway, so that
- 11:56Speaker 3: was Scoop. Okay, so then last night was the Critics'
- 12:00Speaker 3: Choice Awards, and I just saw stuff on the red
- 12:05Speaker 3: carpet and I thought this was really fun. So the
- 12:08Speaker 3: Hacks stars a very funny character of an assistant, an
- 12:12Speaker 3: agent's assistant, Megan Stalter. She's hilarious. and who plays her
- 12:18Speaker 3: boss is also Paul W. Downs, they showed up wearing
- 12:23Speaker 3: the same outfit that Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner wore
- 12:29Speaker 3: to a previous, I think his movie premiere. Marty Supreme
- 12:33Speaker 3: is out and it's getting critically acclaimed so much that
- 12:36Speaker 3: he did in fact win the Critics' Choice Award for it.
- 12:41Speaker 3: Kylie was in the audience. And what was juicy is
- 12:44Speaker 3: that he, for the first time in winning an award,
- 12:47Speaker 3: but maybe he's been nominated and hadn't won it yet.
- 12:49Speaker 3: I'm not sure. But he had a lot of, she
- 12:51Speaker 3: went to award ceremonies with him last year, but I
- 12:53Speaker 3: think he didn't win. But he got on stage and
- 12:56Speaker 3: he said, and to my partner, and it was funny
- 12:58Speaker 3: because the camera went to Michael B. Jordan first. And
- 13:02Speaker 3: then it went to Kylie's face for the last three years.
- 13:05Speaker 3: I love our foundation and I couldn't do it without you.
- 13:07Speaker 3: And then she like mouthed, I love you back. And
- 13:11Speaker 3: Kylie is just been looking gorgeous for ever. And I
- 13:15Speaker 3: love her look. And we, oh, we wondered if this
- 13:19Speaker 3: was a real relationship when it started. He said it
- 13:21Speaker 3: was three years. A lot of people in the comments
- 13:23Speaker 3: were like, wait a minute. I thought her younger, her
- 13:25Speaker 3: youngest child, her little son air is three. Then people corrected. No,
- 13:30Speaker 3: he's almost four. Shortly after she gave birth, they made
- 13:34Speaker 3: it clear that she and Travis, the father of both
- 13:39Speaker 3: Air and Stormy, were not together but considered themselves each
- 13:43Speaker 3: other's family. There was this big Vogue. I think it
- 13:48Speaker 3: was Vogue, but they did a big... like photo shoot
- 13:52Speaker 3: right before the tragedy of Astroworld happened. And then they
- 13:55Speaker 3: scrapped that, but people saw the photos and whatever. They
- 13:59Speaker 3: are not together. She has been with Timothy. It is
- 14:01Speaker 3: a real relationship. He's acknowledged it on stage. Of course,
- 14:05Speaker 3: if he gets the Oscar. My friend Anna Roisman, who
- 14:10Speaker 3: does an incredible Chris Jenner, I hope that she is
- 14:13Speaker 3: in the audience and can also be acknowledged as the
- 14:18Speaker 3: greatest momager in the world. But I think people really
- 14:22Speaker 3: like this. And, you know, people speculate, will Timothy and
- 14:29Speaker 3: Kylie get married? What's next? And, you know, the Kardashian
- 14:33Speaker 3: girls are not big on actually getting married. You know,
- 14:38Speaker 3: it doesn't seem to work out for them. What works
- 14:40Speaker 3: out is choosing to have children and just being incredible mothers.
- 14:45Speaker 3: How they go about that seems to work out as
- 14:48Speaker 3: far as the mothers and choosing... some of the fathers
- 14:51Speaker 3: that they're in relationships with don't seem to work out.
- 14:54Speaker 3: So I don't know. I would assume maybe Kylie would
- 15:00Speaker 3: want to have more kids, but then I also see
- 15:02Speaker 3: her loving this time in her life and thinking, well,
- 15:06Speaker 3: my mom had like two sets of kids with a
- 15:09Speaker 3: big break in between when she had the four kids
- 15:12Speaker 3: with Robert Kardashian, big break, and then the two with
- 15:14Speaker 3: Jenner herself, and it all worked out. So I think
- 15:17Speaker 3: she has plenty of time to think if she wants
- 15:21Speaker 3: to have any more kids with anybody else. And they're
- 15:23Speaker 3: so young. And this is like a whole new world
- 15:27Speaker 3: for her to enjoy as a partner of a Oscar-winning
- 15:31Speaker 3: actor who's only going to have more exciting roles in
- 15:34Speaker 3: his future. And being that she's been so successful in
- 15:39Speaker 3: her own right, I just love this. And I love
- 15:42Speaker 3: that they're out there, but a little more private. They
- 15:46Speaker 3: also went to the Palm Springs A festival that was
- 15:51Speaker 3: also just the night before. And they, you know, Kylie
- 15:55Speaker 3: has a house, Madison Club. And so they could go there.
- 15:57Speaker 3: And it was like, she looked gorgeous. And Leonardo DiCaprio
- 16:02Speaker 3: couldn't make that because they, all these people were stranded
- 16:06Speaker 3: in St. Barts because they couldn't fly. They stopped the air,
- 16:10Speaker 3: you know, no one could fly in that area because
- 16:14Speaker 3: of what was going on in Venezuela. And so these people,
- 16:17Speaker 3: including Shep Rose, had to go back or stay at St.
- 16:21Speaker 3: Bart's for another night or two and keep the party
- 16:24Speaker 3: going with Jeff Bezos and all those St. Bart's people. So,
- 16:28Speaker 3: but I heard now they are back. People are, you know,
- 16:32Speaker 3: the plastic surgeons have come home. The stars have come home.
- 16:36Speaker 3: Everything can get back to normal now. And, and, you know,
- 16:41Speaker 3: in that world, which is kind of funny. But anyway,
- 16:44Speaker 3: I loved that they wore the same outfit. First, I
- 16:47Speaker 3: thought it was kind of like lame, but then I thought,
- 16:50Speaker 3: you know, again, this is a really smart way. If
- 16:52Speaker 3: you're going to go to something... And you're a comedian.
- 16:55Speaker 3: Why not? You're not going to be, no one's going
- 16:58Speaker 3: to care if you just look stunning. Now you want
- 17:00Speaker 3: enough of those red carpet outfits where you just look stunning.
- 17:03Speaker 3: I think if you're truly going to win the Oscar,
- 17:05Speaker 3: that's when you have to, when you're nominated, like for
- 17:08Speaker 3: anything where you will give a memorable speech, don't go goofy,
- 17:13Speaker 3: go the most gorgeous, the most classic. I remember Julia
- 17:16Speaker 3: Roberts had this like big hair piece and it was
- 17:20Speaker 3: just like, That's what she wanted. She wore like a
- 17:22Speaker 3: vintage dress, which was cool. So maybe that's why she
- 17:25Speaker 3: wanted like a 1960s like bouffant. But I always thought
- 17:29Speaker 3: as your possible one and only Oscar win, you just
- 17:33Speaker 3: should have looked classic Julia Roberts. Like it's kind of
- 17:36Speaker 3: like your wedding day. Like you want to look good,
- 17:39Speaker 3: but you also want to really look like yourself and
- 17:41Speaker 3: you kind of want to just have like– a really,
- 17:43Speaker 3: you know, if you never wear your hair up, I
- 17:45Speaker 3: don't think you should wear your hair up on your
- 17:47Speaker 3: wedding day. And if you never wear your hair up,
- 17:48Speaker 3: I don't think you should wear it when you're possibly
- 17:51Speaker 3: accepting the Oscars. So like, but if you're just like
- 17:53Speaker 3: going as a fun guest and your thing is being nominated,
- 17:58Speaker 3: but you can have some fun with it, I thought
- 17:59Speaker 3: whosever idea this was, and I assume it was Megan's,
- 18:02Speaker 3: to wear the outfits, the orange outfits was very funny
- 18:06Speaker 3: and very clever.

- 18:58Speaker 1: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 19:00Speaker 1: what would you do if it was given back?
- 19:03Speaker 6: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 19:06Speaker 6: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 19:08Speaker 3: He said, I have a work dad.
- 19:09Speaker 2: I need a home dad.
- 19:10Speaker 6: What happens next?
- 19:11Speaker 4: When I came in, he started crying.
- 19:13Speaker 6: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 19:17Speaker 6: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 19:20Speaker 6: happens next.
- 19:21Speaker 2: I decided to risk it all. I realized how valuable
- 19:24Speaker 2: every day was.
- 19:24Speaker 3: You're worth the work.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 19:28Speaker 3: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 19:30Speaker 6: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 19:33Speaker 6: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 19:44Speaker 3: This particular dress worn by Cheryl Lee Ralph, star of
- 19:49Speaker 3: Abbott Elementary. gets nominated every year. I just thought it
- 19:53Speaker 3: was a perfect dress. I thought it was perfect for her.
- 19:55Speaker 3: I thought it was perfect for a lot of women
- 19:58Speaker 3: that have this because I wanted you to see this.
- 20:02Speaker 3: It's a great color. It It's flattering on everybody. It
- 20:06Speaker 3: has the pockets. It has a lot going on. It
- 20:08Speaker 3: has just enough glitter. The color is that great color.
- 20:11Speaker 3: It looks great on everybody. It's like a burgundy wine.
- 20:14Speaker 3: But then I noticed that she had or maybe the
- 20:19Speaker 3: designer made it extra burgundy material kind of added to
- 20:24Speaker 3: like the part, you know, when you wear something like
- 20:27Speaker 3: this and you're like, I don't like my vagina armpit
- 20:29Speaker 3: or I don't like that my back fat is like
- 20:32Speaker 3: squirting through. just added some material to that. And I
- 20:36Speaker 3: just think for these big nights, whether it's like your mother,
- 20:39Speaker 3: the bride, or it's your wedding, whatever, like go see
- 20:42Speaker 3: a tailor. If you see a dress you love, get
- 20:44Speaker 3: it enough in advance and say like, you know what?
- 20:47Speaker 3: I want this part covered. Or could you add a
- 20:49Speaker 3: piece of material? It's like, if it's off the shoulder,
- 20:51Speaker 3: can you add a little more material? Because my bat
- 20:53Speaker 3: wings are showing and I'd like it covered up. I
- 20:56Speaker 3: would like a bustle because I have a flat ass.
- 20:59Speaker 3: I would like like you can do this in this
- 21:01Speaker 3: day and age and get the best dress for you.
- 21:04Speaker 3: And she looks great. I also thought saw Miley Cyrus
- 21:10Speaker 3: wore a great pantsuit at the Palm Springs International Film Festival.
- 21:16Speaker 3: And she is looking really good. I think that she
- 21:20Speaker 3: got new teeth. I think she went too big on
- 21:22Speaker 3: her teeth and then she returned them and got smaller veneers.
- 21:26Speaker 3: And I also think Lisa Vanderpump did that too. And
- 21:29Speaker 3: so there's a movement there, but a great pantsuit. And
- 21:32Speaker 3: especially if you have like boobs, like her kind of
- 21:34Speaker 3: far apart and you do a low cut blouse or,
- 21:38Speaker 3: you know, no blouse or whatever, that is really sexy.
- 21:41Speaker 3: So The point, as I'm saying, 2026, dress for your body.
- 21:46Speaker 3: Know what looks good on your body and then go
- 21:49Speaker 3: with that. Even if you admire a look on someone else,
- 21:52Speaker 3: if that ain't your body, don't do it. Kate Hudson,
- 21:56Speaker 3: great dress. This movie that Kate Hudson is in, weird name,
- 22:00Speaker 3: I know, Sing Song Blue, and it looks weird and
- 22:03Speaker 3: they have like weird haircuts. Anyway, it's with Hugh Jackman
- 22:06Speaker 3: and she, and you know, she has started singing and
- 22:08Speaker 3: I guess she sings in this. This is supposed to
- 22:11Speaker 3: be a really great movie about a Neil Diamond cover band,
- 22:15Speaker 3: but it's like everyone's saying it's a surprising, unique story.
- 22:19Speaker 3: So that is something I would go to see. I
- 22:21Speaker 3: also saw Housemaid at the movie theater with Sidney Sweeney
- 22:26Speaker 3: and Amanda Siegfried, and it was very juicy and good,
- 22:31Speaker 3: totally up my alley. If you like a psychological thriller
- 22:34Speaker 3: that deals with infidelity and like rich people, it's, it's
- 22:39Speaker 3: there for the taking. Anyway, this dress for her, fabulous.
- 22:43Speaker 3: You know, she has, it was like a low back
- 22:46Speaker 3: and she has a great back and it was like
- 22:47Speaker 3: a great dress and that's the perfect dress for her.
- 22:51Speaker 3: Now I have talked about fashion predictions and unfortunately many
- 22:55Speaker 3: of mine have come true. The sheer dress, the groin vagina,
- 23:00Speaker 3: the cleavage that we've had to see that like, you know,
- 23:03Speaker 3: line between your crotch area and your thigh, that being
- 23:07Speaker 3: featured as a type of cleavage that we don't need.
- 23:11Speaker 3: Now it's crack cleavage. So there is fashion now saying
- 23:16Speaker 3: this is the look, how with a low back, are
- 23:20Speaker 3: you ready to show your crack? And I want to say,
- 23:23Speaker 3: hopefully this isn't going to catch on because the fashions
- 23:26Speaker 3: last night looked to be, everybody looked really good. I
- 23:30Speaker 3: didn't see anything weird or tacky. Now they are a
- 23:33Speaker 3: level of actors that, this isn't, that's not the Grammys.
- 23:36Speaker 3: The Critics' Choice is like, you know, a little bit
- 23:39Speaker 3: up there. But anyway, let's hope that that doesn't come true.
- 23:45Speaker 3: We talked about Kris Jenner inviting Meghan Markle and Harry
- 23:50Speaker 3: to her 70th birthday and then they called the next
- 23:53Speaker 3: day and was like oh can you remove those those
- 23:56Speaker 3: photos because we don't think we should have been partying
- 23:58Speaker 3: when there was like this day of remembrance happening in
- 24:01Speaker 3: the UK well word on the street is Kris Jenner
- 24:05Speaker 3: and Kim were like we're never inviting those dorks again
- 24:09Speaker 3: because that's the last thing we want the day after
- 24:12Speaker 3: a huge party when we have a team posting shit
- 24:15Speaker 3: and getting it together and then we have to go
- 24:17Speaker 3: and like delete a photo no you don't You don't
- 24:21Speaker 3: do that.
- 24:21Speaker 5: Okay.
- 24:22Speaker 3: And also, if you've got a photo with any of
- 24:24Speaker 3: those people, the Kardashians, you make sure that you get
- 24:28Speaker 3: approval before you post. I made that mistake once, went
- 24:33Speaker 3: to a birthday party of Kris Jenner's. We took a
- 24:36Speaker 3: bunch of photos. She knew we were taking a bunch
- 24:37Speaker 3: of photos. It was girls' dinner that morning. I thought
- 24:40Speaker 3: it was a cute photo of her. I posted it
- 24:43Speaker 3: and she did ask me to take it down. I
- 24:45Speaker 3: peed a little in my bed. It was like six
- 24:47Speaker 3: in the morning. My heart started to beat. I immediately
- 24:49Speaker 3: removed it. And well, you know where I am now.
- 24:55Speaker 5: Okay.
- 24:56Speaker 3: This was weird. Okay. This, uh, I came across this person.
- 25:01Speaker 3: I was not following her. She came through my feet.
- 25:03Speaker 3: Her name's Catherine Gordon. And she just did a photo
- 25:07Speaker 3: of these three women advisors playing tennis and wrote mean girls.
- 25:12Speaker 3: And I wrote, are these real women from your tennis group?
- 25:15Speaker 3: I need to know more. Have you heard from them?
- 25:18Speaker 3: And she just wrote these things like women are toxic
- 25:20Speaker 3: and done it. And I'm like, is this just like
- 25:22Speaker 3: a stock photo of like mean tennis girl? I mean,
- 25:25Speaker 3: do you really post like women from your tennis group
- 25:28Speaker 3: that are not famous? Like I thought that was so crazy.
- 25:31Speaker 3: And also because this week a story came out about
- 25:37Speaker 3: Ashley Tisdale, the, you know, the actress, singer, actress. I
- 25:41Speaker 3: believe she sings too. Anyway, she opened up about walking
- 25:44Speaker 3: away from a toxic mom circle, saying the vibe turned
- 25:48Speaker 3: fast and left her frozen out. And people went and
- 25:52Speaker 3: researched who this mom group was because they all, you know,
- 25:55Speaker 3: maybe they go to have kids at the same school, whatever.
- 25:58Speaker 3: And they've talked about it like other people have talked about, oh,
- 26:03Speaker 3: I have a great mom's group and we just came
- 26:05Speaker 3: back from Montecito and we did a da-da-da-da-da. And so
- 26:08Speaker 3: they kind of figured out some of the women that
- 26:10Speaker 3: are in it. And it involves Hilary Duff and maybe
- 26:15Speaker 3: Mandy Moore. I'm not sure. And in the article, I guess,
- 26:20Speaker 3: I think there might have been a reference to opening
- 26:24Speaker 3: up the phone and seeing that they had a girl's
- 26:26Speaker 3: time without her. And she saw it on social media
- 26:29Speaker 3: and they did not invite Ashley Tisdale. And this is
- 26:34Speaker 3: really hard, no matter how old you are, whether you're
- 26:36Speaker 3: Gen X or a millennial mom, it's really hard to
- 26:39Speaker 3: think like, why was I left out of that group
- 26:42Speaker 3: text and not invited to this thing? And then you're like, well,
- 26:47Speaker 3: fuck you. And this is so hurtful. Like, I've just
- 26:49Speaker 3: got to write an article about it and expose that
- 26:54Speaker 3: these people are bitches. But Then the other side is like, well,
- 26:58Speaker 3: you know, the group got really big and we couldn't
- 27:00Speaker 3: include everybody. And it doesn't mean that we don't like you.
- 27:04Speaker 3: But it's really hard in the mom era time of
- 27:08Speaker 3: like being included in things and not being included or
- 27:13Speaker 3: opening up the Facebook or the Instagram and seeing that
- 27:17Speaker 3: a kid in your son's or daughter's class had a party.
- 27:22Speaker 3: Your child wasn't invited.
- 27:23Speaker 6: Right.
- 27:24Speaker 3: There's so many things that I didn't know I was
- 27:27Speaker 3: missing out on, thank goodness, growing up and being younger
- 27:31Speaker 3: before social media. And maybe it's good that you know,
- 27:36Speaker 3: because it's like, okay, let me reevaluate this or let
- 27:40Speaker 3: me utilize this relationship best as my ability without hurting
- 27:44Speaker 3: my mental health. But You know, not everybody can be
- 27:50Speaker 3: invited to everything. And sometimes, Ashley, you've just got to
- 27:53Speaker 3: let them. And but now this is all exposed. So
- 27:57Speaker 3: some of these people who are not famous because it's
- 27:59Speaker 3: on the cover of TMZ are probably like, oh, my God,
- 28:02Speaker 3: like I did not need this to start my 2026
- 28:05Speaker 3: year of just being like a rich millennial mom in
- 28:09Speaker 3: Hollywood at a private school. This was not what I
- 28:13Speaker 3: now that now she's definitely not being invited to the
- 28:16Speaker 3: next like wine night book club. Will Smith was sued
- 28:22Speaker 3: is sued by violinist Brian King Joseph for sexual harassment.
- 28:26Speaker 3: One of my predictions was I believe 2026 will be
- 28:30Speaker 3: the year of the male Me Too. It already started
- 28:35Speaker 3: in 25 and before with Kevin Spacey, though he seemed
- 28:40Speaker 3: to have prevailed in those lawsuits. Then there is a
- 28:43Speaker 3: second person suing Tyler Henry for sexual harassment, a second
- 28:48Speaker 3: male that worked on films with him. And now this
- 28:53Speaker 3: story is that– Will Smith did this tour like where
- 29:00Speaker 3: he was singing and like telling stories. And I don't know,
- 29:03Speaker 3: it was a tour like happened this year. And he
- 29:05Speaker 3: had this violinist and the violinist said that he came
- 29:10Speaker 3: back to his room and there was like a note
- 29:12Speaker 3: and there was some like P. Diddy kind of stuff there,
- 29:15Speaker 3: like a baby oil. And he said there was like
- 29:17Speaker 3: a threatening note that like he better put out or whatever, something.
- 29:24Speaker 3: And So then when he was like, no, then he
- 29:27Speaker 3: got fired. This is what allegedly it is. It's kind
- 29:30Speaker 3: of hard because it's like the whole story is not
- 29:32Speaker 3: really out there, but this is basically what he's saying
- 29:35Speaker 3: is that he was harassed and coerced, and when he
- 29:38Speaker 3: said no, then he was let go from the tour
- 29:41Speaker 3: and they replaced him with another violinist. So that. You know,
- 29:47Speaker 3: of course, Will Smith and his people are denying it
- 29:50Speaker 3: and everything. But technically, he is being sued for sexual harassment.
- 29:56Speaker 3: And the Brian King Joseph said it was a traumatic
- 29:59Speaker 3: series of events that he endured while working and performing
- 30:04Speaker 3: for Will Smith on his tour. Now let's get into
- 30:06Speaker 3: a little bit of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
- 30:10Speaker 3: The Cult of the Real Housewife is a three-part series
- 30:13Speaker 3: a limited series, just three episodes. It's on HBO Max.
- 30:19Speaker 3: The trailer dropped the weekend of BravoCon. But people are like, hmm. Now,
- 30:26Speaker 3: some of you guys, I know what I love is
- 30:28Speaker 3: when you say, Heather, I don't even watch The Real Housewives,
- 30:32Speaker 3: but you tell me the interesting things I need to
- 30:34Speaker 3: know about it. And I love that, okay? So if
- 30:38Speaker 3: you're not watching it, you can still listen and find
- 30:40Speaker 3: this interesting. There is a real housewife on there named
- 30:45Speaker 3: Mary Cosby. And what is interesting is that she married
- 30:51Speaker 3: her step grandfather and had a child with him. And
- 30:55Speaker 3: the story is, in a nutshell, she had a grandmother
- 30:59Speaker 3: named Mama who came over from Indiana to Salt Lake
- 31:02Speaker 3: City and formed her own Pentecostal church. which is like
- 31:08Speaker 3: where they're kind of like dancing in the aisles and
- 31:09Speaker 3: speaking in tongues and like saving people. And they had
- 31:14Speaker 3: this church and the mama also created all these other
- 31:17Speaker 3: businesses while she had the church. Then she married this
- 31:21Speaker 3: guy 20 years younger than her named Robert. Then she
- 31:25Speaker 3: died when she was 65 and he was 45. And
- 31:28Speaker 3: before she died, she said, I want you to marry
- 31:30Speaker 3: one of my girls. So Mary Cosby, her granddaughter- ended
- 31:35Speaker 3: up marrying him, who is her step-grandfather. So no, it's
- 31:41Speaker 3: not truly incest, but it's weird as fuck. So that,
- 31:45Speaker 3: and that was all on the show when the season,
- 31:48Speaker 3: the first season, they're in their fifth season now of
- 31:50Speaker 3: Real Housewives of Salt Lake came about. Now, within the
- 31:54Speaker 3: first year of the show, people were putting out stuff.
- 31:59Speaker 3: And I think I got stuff from the infamous Von Teese,
- 32:03Speaker 3: Reality Von Teese. where I listened to this audio of
- 32:06Speaker 3: where she was berating her. She, oh, she, so then
- 32:09Speaker 3: she became the pastor of her own church with this
- 32:13Speaker 3: husband of hers, which was also the husband of her grandma,
- 32:16Speaker 3: took over the church. And there was audio that got
- 32:20Speaker 3: out after her first year of being on Real Housewives
- 32:22Speaker 3: of her berating her parishioner saying, it's my birthday. And
- 32:26Speaker 3: she's like screaming at them. And I only got 14
- 32:30Speaker 3: envelopes of money and all of you better, you know,
- 32:33Speaker 3: give me more because God doesn't like poor people and
- 32:35Speaker 3: you're poor. You should have given me more money for
- 32:37Speaker 3: my birthday. I heard that years ago. I never got
- 32:42Speaker 3: over it. I always thought it was awful. But so
- 32:48Speaker 3: then she left for a minute and wasn't on, I think,
- 32:52Speaker 3: season three. And then she came back and was like
- 32:55Speaker 3: not very involved in season four. Now, season five, she
- 32:58Speaker 3: got a standing ovation at BravoCon and People are loving her.
- 33:03Speaker 3: She's interesting. She's funny. She appears to be a good
- 33:07Speaker 3: friend to the other women. She's very involved. She's quirky.
- 33:12Speaker 3: She isn't as mean. She was very mean to the
- 33:15Speaker 3: girls in the past. You're interested. This is a three-part
- 33:20Speaker 3: series laying out why they believe technically this church is
- 33:24Speaker 3: a cult run by Mary and at one time her husband.
- 33:28Speaker 3: Now we don't really hear from the husband much at all.
- 33:30Speaker 3: There's other accusations in it. I am gonna get more
- 33:34Speaker 3: into it on Thursday's show. I'm gonna give you guys
- 33:36Speaker 3: a little time to watch it. Tell me what you think.
- 33:38Speaker 3: I have a major player in the documentary that I'll
- 33:42Speaker 3: be interviewing for a little bit of Thursday's show. So
- 33:46Speaker 3: I wanna get your questions about it. I think that
- 33:50Speaker 3: Real Housewives and reality shows are for entertainment. And the
- 33:54Speaker 3: people that get cast are cast for the reason to
- 33:57Speaker 3: get people to watch and get people to talk about it.
- 34:01Speaker 3: Even if they're horrible people, they're not boring. They're interesting.
- 34:06Speaker 3: I heard when Real Housewives of Salt Lake City was happening,
- 34:10Speaker 3: there was a whole nother show that had a green
- 34:13Speaker 3: light that was about people in Salt Lake City. that
- 34:18Speaker 3: was going to be greenlit by Bravo. This is allegedly
- 34:21Speaker 3: told to me, okay? They're telling me that this was true.
- 34:25Speaker 3: And then that person who thought their show was gonna go,
- 34:29Speaker 3: got the call and said, listen, we're gonna go with
- 34:33Speaker 3: this other Real Housewives Salt Lake type show because we
- 34:36Speaker 3: found a woman who was married to her step-grandpa. And
- 34:41Speaker 3: they're like, game fucking over. That's the show that we're
- 34:44Speaker 3: gonna go with Sorry about your other show that had
- 34:47Speaker 3: interesting Salt Lake City people in it, but you can't
- 34:50Speaker 3: beat this. And you can't because it really got people talking.
- 34:55Speaker 3: And then she is drenched in what appears to be
- 34:59Speaker 3: real label-y stuff, even if it wasn't real. Her closet
- 35:04Speaker 3: and her clothes are probably worth a million dollars, even
- 35:07Speaker 3: if it wasn't real. There's such an excess of it.
- 35:10Speaker 3: And there's so much of it. And she has multiple
- 35:13Speaker 3: homes and everything. So where did the money come from?
- 35:15Speaker 3: And she's like, well, it didn't come from my congregation.
- 35:17Speaker 3: I only have 300 people. So did it come from businesses?
- 35:20Speaker 3: What is it? But then there's all these excommunicated members
- 35:24Speaker 3: that put together the, that are being interviewed on this
- 35:28Speaker 3: show that tell what happened. And I think it's very
- 35:32Speaker 3: easy for someone to sit back and watch a show
- 35:35Speaker 3: about a cult or whatever and, and say, I can't
- 35:38Speaker 3: believe this person stuck with it. How, how did they
- 35:41Speaker 3: not see how this, they were being used and how
- 35:44Speaker 3: weird this was. But, that's the thing. If you weren't
- 35:48Speaker 3: raised with religion or that kind of intense religion where
- 35:52Speaker 3: there's a lot of heaven and hell and who's God
- 35:55Speaker 3: is talking through this person. And it's, it's very easy
- 35:59Speaker 3: to get sucked into it. And just like when I
- 36:01Speaker 3: interviewed on Juicy Crimes, uh, Miscavige's, um, niece about being, um,
- 36:07Speaker 3: in Scientology, it's like, you just don't know anything else. And,
- 36:14Speaker 3: then when you, you don't want to leave the church
- 36:17Speaker 3: because it's all, you know, it's your whole social life. It's,
- 36:20Speaker 3: it's your whole family. It's, you know, all of that.
- 36:22Speaker 3: So it is, it is well done. It is interesting. Um,
- 36:27Speaker 3: but do I think it'll affect her career on Bravo? No,
- 36:30Speaker 3: I do not. I think that, um, they already filmed
- 36:34Speaker 3: the reunion. I'm sure none of this documentary was even
- 36:37Speaker 3: brought up to Mary. They want to keep Mary. She
- 36:40Speaker 3: is well liked and this show was not done on Bravo. Um,
- 36:44Speaker 3: And there you go. However, they used a lot of comments, tweets,
- 36:52Speaker 3: a lot of TikToks, a lot of clips from podcasts
- 36:55Speaker 3: and Instagram videos and everything of people that are in
- 37:00Speaker 3: this world that talk about Bravo shows. And some of
- 37:03Speaker 3: those content creators have also done other videos saying they
- 37:08Speaker 3: never asked for my permission. They never, and they just
- 37:10Speaker 3: used it. Well, Once you put something out there on
- 37:14Speaker 3: Instagram and TikTok and stuff, they can use it. They
- 37:16Speaker 3: don't have to ask you. I know this because I
- 37:20Speaker 3: did an interview with someone a couple years ago, and
- 37:24Speaker 3: it was also used for a documentary. And I had
- 37:27Speaker 3: actually removed that interview. It was with Joe Francis. I
- 37:32Speaker 3: removed it from my YouTube, and then they had already
- 37:34Speaker 3: taken it off the YouTube and put it on their show,
- 37:37Speaker 3: and there was nothing I could do about it.
- 37:39Speaker 4: So.
- 37:40Speaker 3: Sometimes they ask for permission. Bravo has asked me when
- 37:44Speaker 3: they have, which I think is cool. And it's kind
- 37:47Speaker 3: of nice to know, oh, you're using that.
- 37:48Speaker 4: Great.
- 37:49Speaker 3: But technically they can, and they use so many people
- 37:53Speaker 3: to put this together that I think, you know, you
- 37:57Speaker 3: were just one of many, but I get why it
- 37:59Speaker 3: would kind of bug if you, if they didn't ask
- 38:01Speaker 3: you then to like be a bigger part of it,
- 38:03Speaker 3: though they took your content. So there is the juice there.
- 38:08Speaker 3: So watch it and we'll talk more about that on Thursday.
- 38:10Speaker 3: One thing I did notice is on Mary underscore M
- 38:14Speaker 3: underscore M Cosby, 450,000 followers, which is her because it's
- 38:18Speaker 3: got the blue check mark. Her profile doesn't start out
- 38:24Speaker 3: with Real Housewives. It doesn't say pastor of the Faith
- 38:28Speaker 3: Temple Church. It says entrepreneur event specialist. Then R-H-O-S-L-C, on Bravo,
- 38:37Speaker 3: philanthropist and spiritual leader, faith, fragrance, and fashion. So I'm
- 38:44Speaker 3: assuming she's coming out with a Holy Spirit perfume and,
- 38:49Speaker 3: you know, she likes fashion. So to my prediction is
- 38:53Speaker 3: come next season, the church will not even exist anymore.
- 38:58Speaker 3: I think she will. I'm surprised she even came back
- 39:00Speaker 3: and did anything at the church this past season. She said, oh,
- 39:04Speaker 3: it was being remodeled for three years. I went and
- 39:07Speaker 3: checked it out like three years ago when we were
- 39:09Speaker 3: out there on spring break and it was nothing was
- 39:11Speaker 3: going on. And I saw the photos of the mom
- 39:13Speaker 3: and I looked in there and it was kind of
- 39:15Speaker 3: scary and like a ghost town. Then they go, we
- 39:17Speaker 3: finally finished the remodel. It looked exactly the same. It
- 39:20Speaker 3: looked exactly. So I'm like, what? And then she's like, oh,
- 39:22Speaker 3: I'm back to preaching. I don't know why they even
- 39:25Speaker 3: did that. But My prediction and advice is that she
- 39:29Speaker 3: abandons the churches altogether, divorces the Roberts senior, and then
- 39:34Speaker 3: just starts doing her own thing. And then anything that happens,
- 39:39Speaker 3: she can say, look, I was under the spell of
- 39:40Speaker 3: being married to my step-grandpa. That's why I behaved that way.
- 39:45Speaker 3: Now that I'm a real housewife and I've been freed
- 39:47Speaker 3: by Andy Cohen himself, I can be a divorced housewife
- 39:51Speaker 3: and I can sell holy water perfume. Now for the
- 39:54Speaker 3: star of members only Palm Beach, the new hit top
- 39:59Speaker 3: 10 Netflix show that debuted this week. That's got everyone talking.
- 40:04Speaker 3: Please welcome my guest, Hillary. Welcome to Juicy Scoop. How
- 40:09Speaker 3: are you?
- 40:09Speaker 2: Oh, thanks, Heather.
- 40:10Speaker 4: I'm so excited to be here with you on this podcast.
- 40:15Speaker 3: Well, it was so great seeing you again. We met
- 40:18Speaker 3: many years ago through our mutual friend, Jill Zarin.
- 40:21Speaker 2: Zarin!
- 40:24Speaker 3: And she kept telling me, she goes, that's Hillary's show.
- 40:26Speaker 3: You got to, it's so exciting. You got to see
- 40:29Speaker 3: Hillary's show. And then she's like writing me because I
- 40:31Speaker 3: was coming there for the Rachel, you could tell wedding.
- 40:34Speaker 3: And she's like, come over to Hillary's house. You're going
- 40:36Speaker 3: to die when you see her closet. It's sick. You're
- 40:38Speaker 3: going to die. And it was so fun to come
- 40:42Speaker 3: to your house and, Before I'd seen the series, though,
- 40:46Speaker 3: it dropped that day and then get to see your
- 40:48Speaker 3: house on the show, which really is truly stunning. You
- 40:52Speaker 3: have quite the eye for real estate and design.
- 40:56Speaker 2: Thank you. I appreciate that. It was fun having you
- 40:58Speaker 2: by my pool and.
- 40:59Speaker 3: Had a good time. So the show, for those who
- 41:03Speaker 3: haven't seen, it's much like Housewives, but it's not a
- 41:07Speaker 3: Housewives show and it's on Netflix. takes a handful of women, six,
- 41:13Speaker 3: I think there's six of you in the poster, right?
- 41:16Speaker 3: Oh no, there's five of you in the poster. And,
- 41:21Speaker 3: you know, and that brings you together and you're in
- 41:23Speaker 3: this beautiful setting and we see these beautiful homes. And
- 41:28Speaker 3: technically they say it's Palm Beach, but people say it's
- 41:31Speaker 3: not filmed in Palm Beach. And that's a big controversy
- 41:35Speaker 3: where I'm like, who cares? I don't really get why
- 41:37Speaker 3: people are so weird about it. But I heard somewhere
- 41:40Speaker 3: that they won't allow filming in the actual Palm Beach.
- 41:43Speaker 3: Is that true?
- 41:43Speaker 2: No, it's actually not true.
- 41:46Speaker 4: And just to set the record straight, because it's really,
- 41:48Speaker 4: you know, I'm reading, you know, as much as I can,
- 41:52Speaker 4: but it's so overwhelming.
- 41:53Speaker 2: So many people are like, you know.
- 41:56Speaker 4: Well, Hilary Musser lives in West Palm Beach, never said
- 41:59Speaker 4: I didn't live in West Palm Beach, but just for
- 42:01Speaker 4: the record, moved here in 2005, bought a house at
- 42:05Speaker 4: 137 Woodbridge Road or lived in a beautiful Mediterranean mansion,
- 42:12Speaker 4: which was right across the street from Mar-a-Lago. And actually
- 42:18Speaker 4: the only reason or how I would ever become a
- 42:20Speaker 4: member at that young age was because the houses all.
- 42:24Speaker 2: Came with a membership.
- 42:25Speaker 4: So, you know, it's just funny because every house he
- 42:32Speaker 4: gave a membership to was because when he bought it,
- 42:35Speaker 4: you know, it was a lot of construction that he
- 42:38Speaker 4: had to do.
- 42:39Speaker 2: So he wanted to keep the only neighbors that he had.
- 42:41Speaker 3: Yeah, I get it.
- 42:42Speaker 4: So either way, the whole street, if you live Delmore Bridge,
- 42:47Speaker 4: you got a membership, right?
- 42:49Speaker 2: And then you just had to pay the dues.
- 42:51Speaker 4: Of course, when I decided to move to West Palm Beach,
- 42:54Speaker 4: it was because you know, my husband at the time,
- 42:57Speaker 4: big joke about my husband, number three, really loved boating.
- 43:01Speaker 4: And so, you know, we could afford a house in
- 43:04Speaker 4: West Palm on the water, you know, but in Palm beach,
- 43:08Speaker 4: actually in 2005, I almost bought a house on the water.
- 43:11Speaker 2: It was less money than the house I bought, um,
- 43:14Speaker 2: from Jill and Abby Glazer.
- 43:15Speaker 4: You know, they are fantastically well-known couple here that own
- 43:20Speaker 4: the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and, and, um, and, uh, the soccer,
- 43:27Speaker 4: what is it, Manchester United. And they actually just are
- 43:31Speaker 4: opening up the new playhouse in Palm Beach. They're a
- 43:33Speaker 4: wonderful couple. They've remained friends. And I bought the house
- 43:37Speaker 4: from them. I joke it was a beautiful Mediterranean mansion,
- 43:41Speaker 4: brand new. They never even used the kitchen that it
- 43:43Speaker 4: was like their starter home was they were building their mansion.
- 43:46Speaker 4: But it was quite a mansion in and of itself.
- 43:48Speaker 4: And they wrote about that when I moved down there.
- 43:50Speaker 4: They were like, socialite from Philadelphia, Hillary Musser, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 43:54Speaker 4: And I hated being called a socialite because it always
- 43:57Speaker 4: minimized my credibility, I felt, as a business person because
- 44:02Speaker 4: I am a true entrepreneur. So I've lived on the
- 44:06Speaker 4: island for many years, guys. I am a Palm Beacher.
- 44:09Speaker 4: I belong to two clubs there. And I really take
- 44:13Speaker 4: sort of offense being here for 22 years.
- 44:15Speaker 2: I played in the Palm Beach.
- 44:17Speaker 4: you know, town tennis team for 19 years, you know,
- 44:21Speaker 4: to be treated like I'm not part of the real
- 44:24Speaker 4: Palm Beach when I in fact am. Um, and I
- 44:27Speaker 4: am proud to be living on the water in the
- 44:30Speaker 4: house you went to.
- 44:31Speaker 3: Oh my God. It was gorgeous. I said, you know,
- 44:34Speaker 3: when I got there, you were like, you know, you
- 44:36Speaker 3: can stay here. And I'm like, well, I'm already at
- 44:38Speaker 3: this other hotel that was close to the wedding that
- 44:42Speaker 3: we were doing it. But I did, I came back
- 44:43Speaker 3: the next day and I said, I just want to
- 44:45Speaker 3: lay in your backyard. I don't even care. And you're like, okay,
- 44:48Speaker 3: just come on by. And I just laid, I was like,
- 44:50Speaker 3: it was, it's so stunning, you know, and you have
- 44:53Speaker 3: such an eye and your art and everything, but Before
- 44:56Speaker 3: we get into that, I just want to get a
- 44:58Speaker 3: little into your life so that people kind of understand.
- 45:01Speaker 3: You shared a little bit with us right now. But
- 45:04Speaker 3: one of the things that adds to the fun of
- 45:06Speaker 3: the show and what people imagine this wealthy world to
- 45:10Speaker 3: be is you're on your fifth husband, your fifth and
- 45:14Speaker 3: final husband. And he is delightful. And I met him, Luke.
- 45:18Speaker 3: He's lovely. And So can we go through the husbands?
- 45:22Speaker 3: Like who was one, who was two? Like, can we
- 45:25Speaker 3: just get a little cliff note of your life and
- 45:29Speaker 3: love life?
- 45:29Speaker 2: And I did that on the show, but it somehow
- 45:31Speaker 2: made it to the cutting room floor. So I'd be
- 45:33Speaker 2: very happy.
- 45:34Speaker 3: We'll do it here then. Let's hear it here.
- 45:35Speaker 4: Husband number one, great guy, Danny Schwartz.
- 45:40Speaker 2: We dated for five years, you know, the perfect.
- 45:43Speaker 4: Jewish guy for me to marry, but You know, about
- 45:46Speaker 4: 10 months in, we just really weren't getting along.
- 45:48Speaker 2: It was just quite that simple. You know, we didn't
- 45:50Speaker 2: live well together.
- 45:52Speaker 4: And Danny and I, you know, went on a trip
- 45:54Speaker 4: to figure it out if we should stay married. And
- 45:56Speaker 4: I got a liver tumor that I almost killed me
- 46:00Speaker 4: from birth control pills.
- 46:01Speaker 2: My liver had a finger on it this big.
- 46:04Speaker 4: I had two and a half liters of blood in
- 46:06Speaker 4: my stomach by the time I got to a hospital.
- 46:09Speaker 4: My husband almost killed me because he just wasn't taking
- 46:11Speaker 4: me seriously. And my parents came, flew in from Boston.
- 46:15Speaker 4: I was in intensive care. They cut me open from
- 46:18Speaker 4: here to here, took.
- 46:20Speaker 2: Out my gallbladder because it was in the way. So
- 46:22Speaker 2: thank you very much for that. And then, you know,
- 46:24Speaker 2: saved my life and said I had 30 minutes left
- 46:26Speaker 2: to live.
- 46:27Speaker 3: Oh my God. And that was all with husband number one?
- 46:30Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 46:30Speaker 4: My parents said, we need you to leave him. Okay.
- 46:33Speaker 3: So then you got rid of him. Then you, and
- 46:35Speaker 3: then you met Musser.
- 46:37Speaker 4: Prior to my even marrying Danny, I had met Pete Musser.
- 46:42Speaker 2: Through work.
- 46:43Speaker 4: Anyway, this started the flirtation and, uh, you know, I
- 46:47Speaker 4: knew that he had the hots for me, but look,
- 46:49Speaker 4: I'm 38 years younger.
- 46:51Speaker 2: Like, I wasn't even taking him seriously.
- 46:53Speaker 3: So then who was number two?
- 46:55Speaker 2: Musser.
- 46:56Speaker 3: Oh, so Musser was number two.
- 46:57Speaker 2: Okay.
- 46:57Speaker 3: So then you fall in love, you get married to
- 46:59Speaker 3: him and he's much older and wealthy, obviously. And how,
- 47:06Speaker 3: how long were you married to him for? Cause you
- 47:08Speaker 3: had your son with him, right?
- 47:09Speaker 2: Well, it's, it's kind of like, I woke up in
- 47:13Speaker 2: the hospital. He called me incessantly. He was madly in
- 47:16Speaker 2: love with me. And I kind of had this aha moment, like,
- 47:19Speaker 2: you know what? He's amazing. And he's so smart and
- 47:23Speaker 2: he's so sexy and life is short. I almost died.
- 47:27Speaker 4: So what if he's 38 years old or who cares?
- 47:30Speaker 4: It was like a defining moment in my life where
- 47:34Speaker 4: upon I said, what am I doing? And, and it had,
- 47:38Speaker 4: You know, people love to write, oh, she married a billionaire.
- 47:41Speaker 4: Number one, you know, at that time he was worth like, say,
- 47:46Speaker 4: 30 million, which in today's standards is not a lot
- 47:49Speaker 4: of money, really.
- 47:51Speaker 2: It's not billionaire category by any means.
- 47:54Speaker 4: On paper, over the next five years, for about two
- 47:59Speaker 4: and a half months, Pete Mustard was a billionaire on paper.
- 48:03Speaker 2: And guess what? Then he was negative 40 million.
- 48:06Speaker 4: And that was real. because all that money was gone.
- 48:10Speaker 4: And that was in October of 2000. And we got
- 48:12Speaker 4: married in November of 2000. So I really get pissed
- 48:16Speaker 4: when people say, Hillary Musser married a billionaire.
- 48:19Speaker 2: And Hillary Musser has this because she married a billionaire.
- 48:22Speaker 2: You know what? It's all in a book, Richest Dawn,
- 48:24Speaker 2: written by Robert Frank. You can read it. The true story,
- 48:27Speaker 2: it's in a million different articles.
- 48:29Speaker 4: But yet still today, you know, these rags, I'll call them,
- 48:35Speaker 4: are writing about me. Like, you know, I'm only where
- 48:39Speaker 4: I am today because of my billionaire husband. And that's
- 48:42Speaker 4: just horseshit. Didn't happen that way. And in fact, I
- 48:47Speaker 4: had bought a lot of real estate.
- 48:48Speaker 2: Done really well in Nantucket, doing developments as a builder.
- 48:52Speaker 2: And I saved his butt.
- 48:54Speaker 4: They said, if you pay off, you know, a big
- 48:58Speaker 4: amount of money, let me just say, I won't tell
- 48:59Speaker 4: you the number of his debt. This is right after
- 49:02Speaker 4: we got married. We won't fire him as CEO of
- 49:05Speaker 4: his own company.
- 49:06Speaker 2: I paid it off. I took a big mortgage out
- 49:09Speaker 2: of my Nantucket properties to do it. And guess what?
- 49:11Speaker 2: They fired him anyway. So we ended up in a hole,
- 49:13Speaker 2: a big fat hole. We turned it around.
- 49:16Speaker 4: We started our own company called the Monster Group and
- 49:18Speaker 4: started investing in different businesses together as venture capitalists.
- 49:22Speaker 2: And I was an entrepreneur and I got booted out
- 49:25Speaker 2: of my.
- 49:25Speaker 4: Own company at, you know, from Safeguard, which was his company.
- 49:30Speaker 2: And he got booted from his own company.
- 49:32Speaker 4: So here we were just having to start like two
- 49:35Speaker 4: young entrepreneurs all over again. You know, people don't know
- 49:38Speaker 4: that story. And that's a really, it's a really important story.
- 49:42Speaker 4: And I'm writing a book. Good. And it's not really
- 49:45Speaker 4: a biography, but it's going to, it's going to touch
- 49:48Speaker 4: on the real true story.
- 49:49Speaker 3: So, and then you have your son, you do get
- 49:53Speaker 3: pregnant with your son, Cooper.
- 49:55Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 49:56Speaker 3: So who I met, who is a delight. We see
- 50:00Speaker 3: him a little bit in the show, but he's really
- 50:03Speaker 3: so was so pleasant and charming and And so why
- 50:07Speaker 3: did the marriage end?
- 50:08Speaker 2: Well, as I say in.
- 50:10Speaker 4: The book, and I've said in many articles, everybody knew
- 50:14Speaker 4: Pete Musser was a ladies' man. Nobody ever thought that
- 50:18Speaker 4: he would be a ladies' man with me. You know,
- 50:20Speaker 4: like I'm 38 years younger, really cute. You know, we
- 50:23Speaker 4: have a baby who was the light of his life
- 50:25Speaker 4: and was until he passed away.
- 50:27Speaker 2: And, you know, I think it was the.
- 50:30Speaker 4: Loss of the power, you know, the loss of his company,
- 50:34Speaker 4: the loss of that money. where he was looking for
- 50:37Speaker 4: affirmation that maybe I just wasn't giving him anymore because
- 50:40Speaker 4: I was really focused on the baby, you know, and
- 50:43Speaker 4: all my attention all of a sudden was placed on Cooper.
- 50:47Speaker 4: So when Cooper was a year and a half old,
- 50:50Speaker 4: you know, I caught him cheating with like the town,
- 50:55Speaker 4: you know, on.
- 50:57Speaker 2: Nantucket.
- 50:58Speaker 4: And even though it only been going on like two
- 51:01Speaker 4: or three weeks, I just, I was, I was, Devastated. Yes.
- 51:08Speaker 2: Really devastated. I thought, oh my God.
- 51:11Speaker 4: And for six months, he wrote me like a 10
- 51:13Speaker 4: page love letter, really loved me, tried to explain it away.
- 51:18Speaker 4: And the most profound thing he could come up with was,
- 51:20Speaker 4: I'm really sorry, honey. It was a brain fart. I'm like,
- 51:23Speaker 4: did you use the word brain fart? Like the most
- 51:26Speaker 4: intelligent man I've ever met in my life just said
- 51:28Speaker 4: brain fart.
- 51:29Speaker 2: Okay. I can't do this. Right? Like seriously, brain farts,
- 51:33Speaker 2: not a brain fart.
- 51:34Speaker 4: It's a big, huge, breach of trust. And at the
- 51:38Speaker 4: end of the day, I was very proud and very young.
- 51:41Speaker 4: And I picked up my, I picked up all my
- 51:44Speaker 4: stuff and I said, I can't.
- 51:47Speaker 2: Give you six months. I'm done at four months.
- 51:49Speaker 4: And I took Cooper and I moved to our house
- 51:52Speaker 4: on a dirt road on the ocean in Nantucket and
- 51:55Speaker 4: come about the middle of October. I said, Ooh, this
- 51:58Speaker 4: is pretty lonely out here, you know? And Even though
- 52:03Speaker 4: I had a boyfriend on the island, I was like,
- 52:05Speaker 4: I got to go. So all my friends, like one
- 52:08Speaker 4: of my friends flew me down on the private plane
- 52:10Speaker 4: to Palm Beach and I bought a house that day.
- 52:12Speaker 2: And that was that house next to Mar-a-Lago. And I
- 52:16Speaker 2: was like, this is cool.
- 52:17Speaker 4: And then I could just walk across the street like
- 52:19Speaker 4: I lived in a country club, pick up my tennis racket,
- 52:22Speaker 4: get a meal, you know. And Cooper had swimming pools,
- 52:26Speaker 4: you know, with other kids and playground.
- 52:29Speaker 2: And, you know, it was just a lifestyle.
- 52:31Speaker 3: Is that how you met three?
- 52:32Speaker 4: I met number three at like a bar restaurant with
- 52:35Speaker 4: a friend who dragged me out that night.
- 52:37Speaker 2: And I said to this guy next to me, he's
- 52:40Speaker 2: really cute. And he goes, oh yeah, he's like in
- 52:42Speaker 2: real estate. I know him. His name is Tom Bishop. And,
- 52:45Speaker 2: you know, would you like to meet him? I go, yeah,
- 52:47Speaker 2: hell yeah. I'd like to meet him. And I didn't
- 52:49Speaker 2: really click with him all that much, but I hated dating.
- 52:54Speaker 4: We were very different, but he came over for Thanksgiving
- 52:58Speaker 4: and my sister goes, he is by far the hottest
- 53:02Speaker 4: guy you have ever dated in your entire life.
- 53:06Speaker 2: And I was like, yeah, he's really hot.
- 53:10Speaker 4: And then all my girlfriends were like, if you don't
- 53:13Speaker 4: want him, we got a line of girls that'll take him.
- 53:15Speaker 2: And I was like, no, I'm going to keep him.
- 53:17Speaker 2: I'm going to keep him. You know, it was like
- 53:18Speaker 2: a contest and we weren't suited for each other, but
- 53:24Speaker 2: He was hot. He was really hot. And he was funny.
- 53:27Speaker 2: And he loved my kid.
- 53:29Speaker 3: So how long did that one last?
- 53:31Speaker 2: Seven years.
- 53:32Speaker 3: Okay. And so then that ran its course.
- 53:36Speaker 2: And Pete was 12 years.
- 53:39Speaker 3: Pete Wessler was 12 years. Number three was seven years.
- 53:41Speaker 3: Number four is who you were with when I hung
- 53:44Speaker 3: out with you during that Jill Zarin luxury weekend, Hamptons.
- 53:51Speaker 3: And he seemed nice enough. So how long were you
- 53:54Speaker 3: with him for?
- 53:55Speaker 2: For nine years, dating and marriage. Oh. And he was
- 53:59Speaker 2: a bank. He's a banker. His name is Dale.
- 54:03Speaker 4: And he was the antithesis of Tom. So like if
- 54:06Speaker 4: you could take somebody and put them in two different compartments,
- 54:10Speaker 4: he was never going to. And Tom also was a
- 54:13Speaker 4: bit of a, you know, ladies' man.
- 54:14Speaker 2: Let's put it that way.
- 54:16Speaker 3: Tom was three. Tom was three.
- 54:17Speaker 2: Three was a ladies' man.
- 54:19Speaker 4: And I'm like, I'm done with these ladies' men. You know,
- 54:21Speaker 4: this is so stupid. I need a loyal guy. He
- 54:23Speaker 4: was loyal as.
- 54:24Speaker 2: A golden retriever.
- 54:26Speaker 3: Okay.
- 54:27Speaker 2: But he was, you know.
- 54:29Speaker 3: Just didn't last.
- 54:30Speaker 2: He was a little too boring for me. A little
- 54:32Speaker 2: too boring.
- 54:35Speaker 3: And then you go on vacation and you meet Luke.
- 54:38Speaker 2: I meet Luke, not boring.
- 54:40Speaker 3: And he was the doorman at your hotel?
- 54:43Speaker 4: He was the doorman at my hotel, the Hotel De
- 54:46Speaker 4: La Rope in Amsterdam. So I didn't meet him the
- 54:49Speaker 4: first two days. And I made friends with his concierge, Sonder.
- 54:53Speaker 4: And he goes, darling, just text me when you need
- 54:56Speaker 4: a ride back from, you know, it was like the
- 54:58Speaker 4: Champs-Élysées of Amsterdam. So I'm buying remote luggage to put
- 55:03Speaker 4: all my new stuff in that I bought. And I
- 55:07Speaker 4: texted him, I need a ride and drives up this gorgeous,
- 55:11Speaker 4: you know, fancy Mercedes, you know, like golf cart with
- 55:15Speaker 4: this really tall guy with the most gorgeous.
- 55:17Speaker 2: Blue eyes with a black top hat.
- 55:19Speaker 4: And I looked out the window and his blue eyes
- 55:22Speaker 4: just pierced through my soul.
- 55:24Speaker 2: But what really got me.
- 55:26Speaker 4: Was I told him they would deliver the luggage and
- 55:29Speaker 4: he goes, no, I'm getting, he goes in, he grabs
- 55:31Speaker 4: the luggage, puts it in the car and I go,
- 55:32Speaker 4: I need to go to Gucci.
- 55:34Speaker 2: And he goes, let's go to Gucci. That sounds like fun.
- 55:36Speaker 2: And that man knew his way around Gucci. And I
- 55:39Speaker 2: could tell he was not your average doorman.
- 55:42Speaker 4: And the reason he knew his way around Gucci was
- 55:44Speaker 4: because he'd been there many times growing up with his
- 55:46Speaker 4: mother and his father.
- 55:47Speaker 2: You know, he came from a really nice family.
- 55:49Speaker 4: His dad was an uber famous doctor, research doctor.
- 55:52Speaker 2: You know, his mom had passed away.
- 55:54Speaker 4: I'm sorry I didn't get to meet her because she
- 55:56Speaker 4: was really into shopping like I am.
- 55:58Speaker 2: And he hung out with me for like an hour
- 56:00Speaker 2: and a half in Gucci.
- 56:02Speaker 4: We had the best time, we were drinking champagne and
- 56:05Speaker 4: he was really smart.
- 56:09Speaker 2: But I still wasn't thinking about dating him. I was
- 56:12Speaker 2: in Amsterdam.
- 56:14Speaker 4: My son went off to his summer program and then
- 56:18Speaker 4: Luke and I were flirting. If you look at that
- 56:21Speaker 4: picture of us that's on the show, that was just
- 56:24Speaker 4: in front of the hotel when I was walking out
- 56:27Speaker 4: to go do something with Cooper and it looks like
- 56:32Speaker 4: we're madly in love. And you could just tell the
- 56:36Speaker 4: energy between us was there.
- 56:38Speaker 2: From the beginning before any kiss, before anything.
- 56:41Speaker 4: Then I went seven hours to Baden-Baden, Germany to a
- 56:44Speaker 4: spa and he WhatsApp me the next day and he was,
- 56:50Speaker 4: you know, really sweet WhatsApp. And somehow I had the
- 56:53Speaker 4: guts to write back and say, well, I'm doing fine,
- 56:56Speaker 4: but it would be, I wouldn't be so lonely if
- 56:58Speaker 4: you were here. Can you believe I said that?
- 57:01Speaker 3: And then that was it?
- 57:02Speaker 4: He drove seven and a half hours and said he'll
- 57:04Speaker 4: be there for a late lunch the next day.
- 57:08Speaker 3: Wow.
- 57:08Speaker 2: And he never left.
- 57:10Speaker 3: So he never leaves. You get married. And then this
- 57:12Speaker 3: opportunity for the show comes up. So now let's just
- 57:16Speaker 3: jump to the show and what people are, I have
- 57:20Speaker 3: questions about the show. So, um, let's go through some
- 57:25Speaker 3: of the, the girls. So you're good friends with Taja.
- 57:29Speaker 2: Yes. I met Taja through Jill.
- 57:32Speaker 3: Through Jill. And, um, and what I love about like
- 57:35Speaker 3: you and Jill truly are friends and, and are very
- 57:37Speaker 3: supportive of each other, which I love. She was very
- 57:39Speaker 3: excited about all of this for you, which I love. And, um,
- 57:45Speaker 3: and Taja, you know, she comes off well in the show.
- 57:47Speaker 3: Like you guys come off pretty normal, but there's like some,
- 57:52Speaker 3: There's some interesting characters on your show. So there's Maria,
- 57:58Speaker 3: who is a DJ, like she's the DJ at the
- 58:00Speaker 3: country club. And I don't really understand. She seems, you know,
- 58:04Speaker 3: like a nice person, but I don't understand how she.
- 58:08Speaker 3: How they found her. I mean, but she is something
- 58:10Speaker 3: that you kind of can't take your eyes away from.
- 58:13Speaker 3: So I understand why they cast her. But what was,
- 58:15Speaker 3: did you ever know her prior to filming?
- 58:18Speaker 4: I didn't know her prior to filming. Actually, Taja recommended
- 58:22Speaker 4: her and they knew each other. I mean, she's not
- 58:26Speaker 4: the DJ at Mar-a-Lago so much as she was the
- 58:30Speaker 4: DJ in the past, you know, couple of years or
- 58:33Speaker 4: so for the Big Dog Ranch.
- 58:36Speaker 2: Um, event. I have no idea if she's doing it again, but, um,
- 58:40Speaker 2: so there.
- 58:41Speaker 4: Isn't one DJ at, at Mar-a-Lago specifically, you know, they
- 58:46Speaker 4: have different DJs for different events.
- 58:48Speaker 2: Just to be clear, but she does DJ a lot
- 58:51Speaker 2: in Delray and places like that. And she is a character.
- 58:54Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 58:56Speaker 4: Um, she's, you know, she's, she's got a lot to
- 59:00Speaker 4: say and she's, you know, Yeah, she's filled with a
- 59:04Speaker 4: lot of drama.
- 59:05Speaker 2: So I guess she's good for TV. Yes.
- 59:08Speaker 3: And then really in the poster, the woman that I
- 59:12Speaker 3: think got a lot of airtime that didn't make the
- 59:14Speaker 3: poster was Gail. And Gail is much older than you guys.
- 59:22Speaker 3: They're very attractive. And she's doing this whole thing with Rosalyn, who.
- 59:30Speaker 3: Is if you cast, if this was a scripted show,
- 59:33Speaker 3: I think someone would say, Rosalyn is too over the top.
- 59:37Speaker 3: Like no one will believe that Rosalyn exists because the
- 59:41Speaker 3: bright blonde hair and, you know, the way she talks
- 59:46Speaker 3: with her voice and everything, she's just, she's also a character.
- 59:49Speaker 3: And so the whole thing is Gail is like, they
- 59:52Speaker 3: have this love affair friendship where she's like, I'm going
- 59:56Speaker 3: to pass the baton. You're going to be the queen
- 59:57Speaker 3: of Palm beach. And, And I didn't know if this
- 59:59Speaker 3: was put on for the show because it's kind of
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: like they wanted, the producers wanted to be like Paul Morial. But,
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: it just was so weird and unbelievable. And then it's like,
- 1:00:10Speaker 3: she was so name droppy and about her life in
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: the past, but it was funny. It's like, everybody has
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: met that woman. That's like, Oh, when I walked into
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: a restaurant, I was so stunning. Bus boys used to
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: crash into each other. And, and then I was hanging
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: out with JFK jr. And like, whatever the story is like,
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: it just, it was, she is ridiculous.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: But funny.
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: Well, yeah.
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: I mean, I think the producers really loved her because
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: she added sort of a, you know, a dose of
- 1:00:42Speaker 4: complete ridiculousness to the show. I'm sure you can see
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: my reaction, you know?
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, I think the funniest thing I said was,
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: and I was, of course, being cheeky, right?
- 1:00:54Speaker 4: I said, you know, you should go to Elon Musk
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: and ask him if he'll donate a trip to the
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: moon for one of your very many charities, which you
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: haven't shared in over 20 years, but that's okay.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: I mean, I think that was hilarious. And she took
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: me seriously. You know, I don't know.
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: I know she took you seriously. It was so funny.
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: Cause you know, at, if anyone has ever been to
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: a big auction or whatever, people will give their house
- 1:01:19Speaker 3: or their whatever. And you're like, ask Elon to like
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: send someone to the moon for, you know, and bid
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: on that. That'd be a great charity. And, and yeah,
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: it was like, she did not, she didn't get it,
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: went right over her head. And it was, It was
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: very funny. And you know what's so funny is that scene,
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: that famous scene in it where she sits too much
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: on the edge of the lounge chair and she falls
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: and her wig, which was not a good wig, falls off.
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: All of the women helped straighten it on her head.
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: This past weekend when I was at the wedding, I
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: sat on the edge of a chair and fell because
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: And I was like, Oh my God, I just pulled
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: a Gail. I didn't say I wasn't wearing a wig.
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: Thank God. When I just pulled a Gail, I'm like,
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: I just felt like exactly like this woman. Um, So
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: she just was like a friend of, I guess that's
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: why she didn't make the poster or what?
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, Rosalind brought her in.
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: Reportedly, Rosalind said she brought her in because she had
- 1:02:17Speaker 4: no friends on the show, which wasn't true at all.
- 1:02:20Speaker 4: I mean, Rosalind knew Romina for many 20 years or whatever.
- 1:02:24Speaker 4: I mean, I think candidly that she brought Gail in
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: to say the things that she didn't have the chutzpah
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: to say on her own, right? So for certain things,
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: she kind of wanted to attack me but she couldn't
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: really do it. So she, you know, she shoveled that
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: over to Gail and Gail had no problem, you know,
- 1:02:48Speaker 4: blurting out anything. So I felt like, you know, she
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: kind of used Gail a little bit as a mouthpiece.
- 1:02:53Speaker 4: Maybe she used her to give herself some credibility, which
- 1:02:55Speaker 4: she was.
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: Lacking, right?
- 1:02:58Speaker 4: You know, it's sort of no secret in Palm Beach
- 1:03:02Speaker 4: that Rosalind has not made a lot of friends on
- 1:03:05Speaker 4: the island. And so the problem that I had was,
- 1:03:10Speaker 4: you know, I, first of all, she said she wasn't
- 1:03:15Speaker 4: doing the show. So when I invited those people that
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: she had legitimate issues with, they had legitimate issues with her.
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: And I mean, issues I can't talk about, you know,
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: because can't talk about them.
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: But they're legitimate, right? Yeah. I didn't think she was
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: on the show. So this whole.
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: Story, you know, about me being, you know, excluding her,
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: I'm not an exclusionary person, but she wasn't on the
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: show because she said she wasn't doing the show. And
- 1:03:47Speaker 4: then all of a sudden, like two days before we
- 1:03:49Speaker 4: started shooting, she was like, I've decided to do it.
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: And meanwhile, I had three people who.
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: Could not be in the same room with her, like
- 1:03:59Speaker 4: legitimately could not be in the same room with her.
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: So when people talk about like, oh, you can't do
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: this on the island and all that stuff. I mean,
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: that really is true. Like once you've lived there for
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: that long, there really is, there really is that kind
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: of society life that really does exist.
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: Well, look, you know, if you piss off one person,
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: a group, you piss off them all, people stick together.
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: So like just somehow in the group of folks that that,
- 1:04:29Speaker 4: you know, that I know, and I hang out with
- 1:04:31Speaker 4: everybody really, you know, I mean, I don't have a
- 1:04:35Speaker 4: group I hang out with. I'm sort of friends with everybody.
- 1:04:37Speaker 4: I've been there 22 years. You know, there's not like,
- 1:04:40Speaker 4: I'm not like part of a clique. That's not my style. But,
- 1:04:43Speaker 4: you know, one of the people in the group is
- 1:04:46Speaker 4: my neighbor. I see him every day. I mean, you know,
- 1:04:48Speaker 4: we're close. And so, It was impossible for me to
- 1:04:52Speaker 4: include her in that first event. And, of course, that
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: became the whole story for the show. You know, it
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: was like Rosalind against Hillary, Rosalind against Hillary. You know,
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: and she wasn't even supposed to be on the show.
- 1:05:03Speaker 4: So it was kind of difficult to navigate that for
- 1:05:08Speaker 4: me because I couldn't.
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: Really talk about what really was the truth.
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: Oh, well, maybe that'll come out next season in a way.
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I mean.
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:05:20Speaker 4: Well, I do have to say one more thing about that.
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: I mean, I call her Rara.
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: But the thing about Rara is, you know, she makes
- 1:05:28Speaker 4: it out like she's this big, innocent person who's only
- 1:05:31Speaker 4: ever looked left or right at her husband.
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: She's been married before, you know, that's her second husband.
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: Wait, Rosalyn or Romina? Oh, is the second husband the
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: one she had all five kids with or no?
- 1:05:43Speaker 4: No, she had two kids with the first husband in Israel.
- 1:05:48Speaker 4: married to an Israeli guy. And then she moved back
- 1:05:52Speaker 4: to America. And, you know, it just wasn't really a
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: true story. You know, and her mother was friendly with
- 1:06:01Speaker 4: a really good friend of mine. And the mother's husband
- 1:06:06Speaker 4: was the CFO of a very big company.
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: I don't think she grew up so poor. You know,
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: so that's kind of a story.
- 1:06:12Speaker 4: And, you know, it's kind of used to sort of
- 1:06:17Speaker 4: make me look like you know, I'm this flaky person
- 1:06:20Speaker 4: with five husbands and she's only ever had one guy
- 1:06:23Speaker 4: in her whole life.
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: Well, that's not true.
- 1:06:25Speaker 4: So, you know, I kind of want to push back on.
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: That, right?
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: Okay, good. And then Romina is the youngest of the
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: group and she comes off very likable and relatable. And,
- 1:06:40Speaker 3: you know, her storyline is like, can I fit in here?
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: And she has this big party. And much in the
- 1:06:49Speaker 3: housewife fashion, she is a singer. So I need to know,
- 1:06:53Speaker 3: how was that song that she performed at her own
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: birthday party?
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: Look, I like Romina.
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: You know, I tried to mentor her, but she chose,
- 1:07:02Speaker 4: I think.
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: The wrong horse to be mentored by. Yeah. It was
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: a different horse next season. I like Romina. I tried
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: to mentor her.
- 1:07:12Speaker 4: But, you know, look, you know, Rosalyn has known her
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: a long time and brought her on to the show.
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: So she's got to show some loyalty there. And I
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: respect that too. Yeah. But where we are with that, right.
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: Is she is trying really to be a fashion designer,
- 1:07:30Speaker 4: but singing is a passion.
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: I thought she was fine.
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: I mean, my voice is so bad that anybody sounds
- 1:07:36Speaker 4: better than I do.
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: So to me, she sounded great. And I think her
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: clothing line is kind of gitchy. You know, I think.
- 1:07:45Speaker 4: She has some good stuff and she has some not
- 1:07:47Speaker 4: so good stuff, but I applaud her for putting it
- 1:07:51Speaker 4: out there and trying to do it.
- 1:07:53Speaker 3: But in real life, have you ever really like mentored
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: like a young, younger woman who's trying to fit in
- 1:08:02Speaker 3: that needs like the tips of like what to wear,
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: what not to wear or what to do, what not
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: to say?
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: I've mentored plenty of young women professionally.
- 1:08:12Speaker 4: But certainly nobody's ever come to me and asked me
- 1:08:14Speaker 4: how to act.
- 1:08:14Speaker 3: Oh, okay. So only professionally, not like society-wise.
- 1:08:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: I mean, you know, I'm so not into that stuff, really. Yeah.
- 1:08:22Speaker 4: I'm so sorry about, oh, no boobs and no knees,
- 1:08:25Speaker 4: and you have to act a certain way.
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: You see me, I don't act like that.
- 1:08:29Speaker 4: And I got a lot of friends in Palm Beach Island,
- 1:08:31Speaker 4: and I've been there 22 years. And I really, you know,
- 1:08:35Speaker 4: I really haven't made very many, I haven't, can't, I
- 1:08:39Speaker 4: can't find any enemies.
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: That I have.
- 1:08:41Speaker 4: And I think I've navigated my way through like quite easily.
- 1:08:44Speaker 4: I fit right in when I got there.
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: So look, I don't know really what that's all about.
- 1:08:50Speaker 4: I think it's a little bit blown up.
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: So did you know Jill while while she was currently
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: filming Housewives or did you meet her after she had
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: left Housewives? Cause I know you guys have been friends
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: for at least a decade or so.
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:09:06Speaker 4: I mean, uh, this mutual friend of ours, Maura Fiore said, Hey,
- 1:09:10Speaker 4: you know, let's go. And I met her playing tennis
- 1:09:13Speaker 4: at Mar-a-Lago. She, uh, and then she was the captain
- 1:09:16Speaker 4: of the town tennis team. And We've been great friends,
- 1:09:19Speaker 4: still great friends. She moved to LA.
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: At the time, she still lived in Palm Beach. And
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: she said, I'm making a tennis game with a friend
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: of mine, Jill Zarin. You know, she's not fantastic. It's
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: not going to be the best game that we've had, but.
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: You'll love this.
- 1:09:34Speaker 4: But you'll know, I know she's such a better tennis
- 1:09:37Speaker 4: player now. She's really improved.
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: She's amazing. I come do the member guests with her
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: at Woodfield every year. But at the time, she just
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: started playing. Yeah. So, you know, but let's have fun.
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: You'll love her.
- 1:09:49Speaker 4: I'd like to introduce you to her. AKA, by the way,
- 1:09:52Speaker 4: she was a New York housewife. And I go, well,
- 1:09:54Speaker 4: I've never watched a show.
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: I have no idea. I don't, I don't watch reality TV.
- 1:09:58Speaker 4: So she, uh, she came and we just were like
- 1:10:03Speaker 4: sisters from the minute we met.
- 1:10:04Speaker 3: And so since you weren't someone that like watched it,
- 1:10:07Speaker 3: you know, like the way I've been into it since
- 1:10:09Speaker 3: like day one. And that's how I met Jill through
- 1:10:12Speaker 3: the business. When did you ever think that you could
- 1:10:16Speaker 3: be on a reality show? What did you think when
- 1:10:18Speaker 3: the opportunity presented itself at this point in your life?
- 1:10:21Speaker 4: Well, I've been asked at least five or six times
- 1:10:24Speaker 4: to be on a reality show.
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: I mean, many, many people have tried to do a
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: Palm Beach show.
- 1:10:30Speaker 4: You can film on the island with a permit inside
- 1:10:33Speaker 4: of buildings and inside of private homes. You just can't
- 1:10:37Speaker 4: walk around with your video camera filming you know, Rod
- 1:10:41Speaker 4: Stewart's house and so-and-so's house.
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: That's what they're trying to avoid.
- 1:10:44Speaker 4: So they tried to do a show. They came and
- 1:10:46Speaker 4: filmed at my Woodbridge house on the island. And I
- 1:10:50Speaker 4: filmed with Cooper, with my husband, Tom, at the time.
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: And that was contract signing time, right? They gave me
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: a card.
- 1:10:58Speaker 4: It was just a production company. And I saw that contract.
- 1:11:01Speaker 4: I'm like, I don't like it. I didn't sign it.
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: And then it didn't end up happening, right? It ended up,
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: you know, just falling apart.
- 1:11:08Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:11:08Speaker 4: You know, I was bringing my son to some castings.
- 1:11:12Speaker 4: I got a casting director pulled me aside and said
- 1:11:15Speaker 4: she wanted me for a show on hard money lending.
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: And she sent my she asked to film me. And
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: I'm like, all right.
- 1:11:22Speaker 4: I was taking my son to a casting. He's an
- 1:11:24Speaker 4: actor in Miami. And then that guy called me and
- 1:11:27Speaker 4: wanted to do a show with me. It never panned
- 1:11:29Speaker 4: out into anything. I said I would be interested in tennis,
- 1:11:32Speaker 4: doing a show on tennis. And we couldn't get that together.
- 1:11:34Speaker 4: Ladies in the Island didn't really want to be film
- 1:11:37Speaker 4: playing tennis.
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 1:11:39Speaker 4: And then, you know, another time I was at Paramount
- 1:11:44Speaker 4: with the head of casting there and he was green-screening
- 1:11:47Speaker 4: Cooper and he goes, I want to put you in
- 1:11:48Speaker 4: the movies.
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: You would be so funny. You'd be so great on screen.
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: And I'm like, no, no, no, I'm here for my son.
- 1:11:54Speaker 4: Like almost TV and film was calling my name for
- 1:12:00Speaker 4: the last 20 years and I kept pushing it away.
- 1:12:03Speaker 4: And then when this one came, You know, I talked
- 1:12:06Speaker 4: to Jill about it and I was like, I think
- 1:12:09Speaker 4: I'm ready. And, you know, I used it in my
- 1:12:13Speaker 4: mind to convince myself that this is a great opportunity
- 1:12:19Speaker 4: to expand my brand, Hillary Messer Homes, and the developments
- 1:12:23Speaker 4: that I do. You know, I knew that I would
- 1:12:25Speaker 4: just be finishing the most expensive, most exclusive, high-end home.
- 1:12:32Speaker 4: Designed interiors by Poltrona Frau.
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: Do you know who they are?
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: Yes, you told me. That's all the leather interior of Ferrari, right?
- 1:12:40Speaker 4: Every Ferrari in Rolls-Royce, your seats and your dashes are
- 1:12:43Speaker 4: made by Poltrona Frau. So it really is a Hilary
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: Musser interior design Poltrona Frau house.
- 1:12:49Speaker 3: Have you gotten a lot of inquiries since it's been featured? And,
- 1:12:54Speaker 3: you know, you show it on your Instagram as well.
- 1:12:56Speaker 3: So have you gotten any interest?
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, it is my passion. I'm sorry for
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: the pitch, but- Yeah, yeah.
- 1:13:03Speaker 3: No, I get it. It's amazing. Everyone needs to go
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: to her Instagram and watch her videos about this house.
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: It is the culmination of 30 years worth of mistakes.
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: Yeah, oh, that's so interesting.
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: So for 30 years, I've been building houses.
- 1:13:16Speaker 4: I took all my mistakes, I corrected them, and I
- 1:13:19Speaker 4: made a house that I wanna live in, which I
- 1:13:21Speaker 4: think is a really high standard, right?
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: Because you gotta always be prepared. If you don't sell it,
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: you got to move into it.
- 1:13:28Speaker 4: So we have been on the market for less than
- 1:13:32Speaker 4: a couple of weeks live. And I have had several
- 1:13:37Speaker 4: really great showings. I've had two people contemplating an offer.
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: So I'm waiting. And I have another really interested guy
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: on Friday. So I'm feeling that the house is really hot.
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: And I'm like by the end of January. You know,
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: somebody else is going to own it and be a
- 1:13:59Speaker 2: really happy camper.
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: Well, I got to drive by it because Jill gave
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: me the wrong address. So I go, I go, I
- 1:14:07Speaker 3: gave you the wrong address. No, no, Jill, Jill did it.
- 1:14:10Speaker 3: Jill texted me and I go. are you guys like
- 1:14:14Speaker 3: in this modern house that's like construction going on? And
- 1:14:16Speaker 3: she's like, oh no, that's the one she's building. Oh
- 1:14:19Speaker 3: my God, it's closed. Oh, I'm such an idiot. So
- 1:14:21Speaker 3: then I go to the other house. So I saw
- 1:14:23Speaker 3: it in person and the location is to die. And
- 1:14:26Speaker 3: it's amazing. I know we have to wrap it up.
- 1:14:29Speaker 3: So I just want to ask you a couple of things.
- 1:14:30Speaker 3: What's been, you know, providing the show goes forward and
- 1:14:36Speaker 3: you do another season, what would you like to, What
- 1:14:41Speaker 3: would you like to experience in this next season that
- 1:14:44Speaker 3: you didn't experience in the previous one?
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: Well, I'd like a little more truth.
- 1:14:47Speaker 4: You know, there was a lot of things that sort
- 1:14:50Speaker 4: of were swept under the carpet, right?
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: And I'm right out there with the truth about everything, right?
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: I'm a straight shooter. You know, I'd like to get another.
- 1:15:01Speaker 4: New cast member that's a little bit, you know, maybe
- 1:15:04Speaker 4: actually from Palm Beach Island to squelch all this talk
- 1:15:08Speaker 4: about It's not real Palm Beachers when I am.
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: I'm both a Palm Beacher and a West Palm Beacher.
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: I'm both, right? I'd like to get somebody.
- 1:15:16Speaker 4: Maybe a little bit more down to earth like me, right?
- 1:15:20Speaker 3: What about the, how do you, did you know that
- 1:15:22Speaker 3: Sue Bell? Because people follow her on Instagram. They loved
- 1:15:24Speaker 3: seeing her in one of the days. She was fun
- 1:15:28Speaker 3: to pop in.
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: She's one of my best friends. I brought her onto
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: the show.
- 1:15:32Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:15:35Speaker 3: But she's great on Instagram.
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: Yeah, her brand is taking off.
- 1:15:39Speaker 4: And, you know, look, she's, you know, like 79 years
- 1:15:44Speaker 4: old and the shooting day was really long for her.
- 1:15:48Speaker 4: And she just sort of shared with me that she's
- 1:15:51Speaker 4: not sure she's going to be able to put the
- 1:15:54Speaker 4: kind of time in that she did last year because,
- 1:15:57Speaker 4: you know, we have some long days and.
- 1:16:00Speaker 3: It's a long time.
- 1:16:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:16:02Speaker 3: And it's, it's a lot harder than people think. It's
- 1:16:04Speaker 3: a lot more exhausting. And what have you liked about
- 1:16:08Speaker 3: this past week of the show being out and what
- 1:16:11Speaker 3: have you, what has been hard?
- 1:16:14Speaker 4: Um, I think some of the things that, um, I've loved,
- 1:16:18Speaker 4: you know, the attention is great.
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: I got my first fan.
- 1:16:21Speaker 4: Photo, you know, the day after the show at table
- 1:16:24Speaker 4: 26 with my son at the bar was like, She's.
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: Like, oh my God, I want to work for you.
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: I want to change my life to be a realtor.
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: I want to do this.
- 1:16:32Speaker 4: I want to, and she was so cute, you know,
- 1:16:34Speaker 4: and those kinds of things are great. And I've had
- 1:16:36Speaker 4: a lot of great, thank you for all the fan mail.
- 1:16:39Speaker 4: I've had like, like no haters. And I'm really proud.
- 1:16:42Speaker 4: Like people are talking to me about the fact that
- 1:16:45Speaker 4: I'm inspiring them, other women. And that's what my book
- 1:16:49Speaker 4: is about. So I'm really excited about that. And that's
- 1:16:52Speaker 4: been really positive.
- 1:16:54Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:16:54Speaker 4: I mean, the only negative is, you know, when they
- 1:16:57Speaker 4: start publishing stuff, that's not true.
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: Right. Like, yeah, I'm self-made. Don't don't don't put me
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: in a different category than I am. And I've worked
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: so hard. I hate that.
- 1:17:07Speaker 4: So, you know, but you you go on TV, go
- 1:17:11Speaker 4: on reality TV, go on a show like this and
- 1:17:13Speaker 4: you just got to expect it.
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:17:14Speaker 3: Well, I'm excited for them to see more of you
- 1:17:16Speaker 3: because I got to meet your sister. and your niece,
- 1:17:20Speaker 3: and they're fun and cool. Like I said, I got
- 1:17:23Speaker 3: to spend time with your son. Luke is a delight
- 1:17:27Speaker 3: and fun and funny. So I just think more of
- 1:17:30Speaker 3: your life. So I felt like, you know, out of
- 1:17:33Speaker 3: all the girls, I felt very blessed to be able
- 1:17:35Speaker 3: to interview you who I met many years ago and
- 1:17:38Speaker 3: we had fun together and that, you know, that you're
- 1:17:42Speaker 3: the real deal. And like I said, you really have
- 1:17:45Speaker 3: a business. You really have done it for years. You
- 1:17:47Speaker 3: really have talent in a hard business. And so I
- 1:17:51Speaker 3: think it's great. And I think the show is extremely entertaining.
- 1:17:55Speaker 3: There's a lot of like people hating it, you know,
- 1:17:59Speaker 3: but they watch the whole thing. Because they think it's
- 1:18:03Speaker 3: somewhat a political side just because of where you're located.
- 1:18:08Speaker 3: And so there's some of that where I'm like, well,
- 1:18:10Speaker 3: so what? You watch the whole thing. That's the point.
- 1:18:13Speaker 3: You know, like whatever. But I think... I'd like to
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: see more of it. And I think it would be
- 1:18:18Speaker 3: really fun if this takes off that who's ever doing
- 1:18:22Speaker 3: this show, there's more like members only LA, members only Scottsdale,
- 1:18:28Speaker 3: members only, you know, just finding kind of exclusive parts
- 1:18:33Speaker 3: of America where people want to like step in and go,
- 1:18:35Speaker 3: what's it like to live there? you know, not so
- 1:18:38Speaker 3: much like a housewife's thing, more like, what's it like
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: to live there? What, what is, what's the vibe about?
- 1:18:43Speaker 3: And I think that's why they were dipping their toe
- 1:18:45Speaker 3: in with the Palm beach because of the interest of
- 1:18:48Speaker 3: Palm beach and Palm Royale. But I could see. it, um,
- 1:18:51Speaker 3: really growing as a franchise. And so I think it's great.
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: Well, we actually started.
- 1:18:56Speaker 4: You know, the show before we knew about Palm Royale,
- 1:18:59Speaker 4: it just was uber lucky. And we also started the
- 1:19:02Speaker 4: show before Trump was elected. So I think we got
- 1:19:06Speaker 4: really lucky with the timing. You know, and it's so
- 1:19:11Speaker 4: exciting to be in the top 10 or the top
- 1:19:15Speaker 4: eight this morning. And then my executive producer, Johnny Gould
- 1:19:19Speaker 4: from Supaluna told me on the phone.
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: Today that we're like top five in Canada. He goes,
- 1:19:23Speaker 2: we're top three in Kenya. You know, my husband's talking
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: to friends from all over the world and he's going, oh,
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: the women in Singapore love you.
- 1:19:32Speaker 4: You know, and I'm like, oh my God, like all
- 1:19:35Speaker 4: of a sudden I've lost my anonymity. And I was
- 1:19:39Speaker 4: fairly anonymous before, in my own mind, at least, even
- 1:19:43Speaker 4: if I wasn't. And I think that this is a journey,
- 1:19:48Speaker 4: a new journey, at least.
- 1:19:50Speaker 6: In my life.
- 1:19:51Speaker 3: I think it's a journey. And my advice is, especially
- 1:19:54Speaker 3: at this point of your life, you know, you have
- 1:19:57Speaker 3: a grown son who's got his head on straight. So
- 1:19:59Speaker 3: you're already in a better position than a lot of
- 1:20:01Speaker 3: housewives that started where maybe their kids didn't ask to
- 1:20:05Speaker 3: be in the limelight or whatever. And I think that
- 1:20:09Speaker 3: you should just have a blast with it and, you know,
- 1:20:13Speaker 3: utilize it like you are and just have so much
- 1:20:17Speaker 3: fun because, you know, I think it's, it's a great
- 1:20:21Speaker 3: future and, and, and you're at a great point in
- 1:20:23Speaker 3: your life. You know, it's good. This didn't happen when
- 1:20:25Speaker 3: you were 40, it's happening now for a reason. So
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: have a blast with it.
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: No, thank you.
- 1:20:31Speaker 4: And, you know, look, it's, uh, there's, there's, uh, there's
- 1:20:34Speaker 4: no harm, no foul with the, you.
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: Know, with all the girls, it's a group of girls,
- 1:20:38Speaker 2: you know? Um, and, uh, you know, at the end
- 1:20:42Speaker 2: of the day, you.
- 1:20:43Speaker 4: Know, this is a little journey that we did all
- 1:20:45Speaker 4: do together, um, So that's, you know, been, you know,
- 1:20:49Speaker 4: we have a little camaraderie there, but I think we
- 1:20:51Speaker 4: could use a little bit, maybe a couple of other
- 1:20:53Speaker 4: people to mix it up. So I think you'll wait
- 1:20:55Speaker 4: to see next season. You might see some new faces. Yeah.
- 1:20:59Speaker 4: You might see some younger faces too, you know, just
- 1:21:02Speaker 4: to give it a little spice.
- 1:21:03Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:21:05Speaker 4: Just hold on and wait and see who knows what's
- 1:21:07Speaker 4: going to happen. It's certainly not my decision.
- 1:21:09Speaker 3: Well, tell everybody where they can follow you on Instagram.
- 1:21:13Speaker 4: Hillary with one L. At Hillary Musser Holmes on Instagram.
- 1:21:18Speaker 4: And that's my website too, dot com. And TikTok.
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: Oh, gee. I don't know. I think my TikTok is
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: the same. Okay, good. But, oh, you know what's funny?
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: You'll love this, though, before you hang up on me.
- 1:21:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: There was a TikTok with Jill and I.
- 1:21:36Speaker 3: Next to each other.
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: Did you see it?
- 1:21:38Speaker 3: No, but I know people are saying they look so
- 1:21:40Speaker 3: much alike. And before they knew you were friends... people
- 1:21:43Speaker 3: were commenting saying she reminds me of Jill Zarin.
- 1:21:45Speaker 4: And it's so funny because we really are different. Like
- 1:21:50Speaker 4: we're totally different in a room, right? You put us
- 1:21:52Speaker 4: in a room, we're different. But people put us together.
- 1:21:55Speaker 4: It must be the energy that we have together.
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: You know, and I'm not.
- 1:22:00Speaker 4: Some energy guru or anything, but that energy we have
- 1:22:03Speaker 4: together must make people sort of feel it. And that's
- 1:22:07Speaker 4: the energy we felt when we met and the energy
- 1:22:09Speaker 4: I felt when I met you I mean, I met you,
- 1:22:13Speaker 4: you know, probably 10 times now over the last 10
- 1:22:15Speaker 4: years and I've always loved you. So I'm so honored
- 1:22:18Speaker 4: that you chose me. to sit here and do this
- 1:22:22Speaker 4: podcast with you. And I hope it's not our last one.
- 1:22:24Speaker 3: Oh no, absolutely not. Well, thank you so much. And everybody,
- 1:22:28Speaker 3: the show is members only. Is it Palm Beach members
- 1:22:31Speaker 3: only or members only Palm Beach?
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: Members only Palm Beach.
- 1:22:34Speaker 3: Okay. And of course it's on Netflix, so you can
- 1:22:36Speaker 3: binge it and it's fun. And, um, and then follow
- 1:22:40Speaker 3: Hillary as well. Thank you so much. I'll talk to
- 1:22:42Speaker 3: you soon.
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: Thanks. Take care. Have a great one.
