- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Benn and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with our radio. Hi everyone, welcome to the Almost Famous
- 0:07Speaker 1: podcast Today. I have just to Sutner with me. We're
- 0:12Speaker 1: live from Tahoe by the way, so we're doing podcast
- 0:15Speaker 1: together in person in the same room for the first
- 0:17Speaker 1: time in a long time, and we're going to be recording,
- 0:20Speaker 1: recording l L recapping this episode UM four of The
- 0:25Speaker 1: Bachelorette together. I'm so excited to do it with you, Trista.
- 0:29Speaker 1: I always love your fadeback. You and I we get screeners,
- 0:33Speaker 1: you know, and you had watched the day before me,
- 0:37Speaker 1: and we were kind of talking about the episode, and
- 0:39Speaker 1: like you said, like what to expect and stuff in
- 0:41Speaker 1: our car ride yesterday from the airport to the hotel,
- 0:45Speaker 1: and You're like, there's like something I'm not sure I
- 0:47Speaker 1: really want to dive deep into, but like I'm definitely
- 0:49Speaker 1: feeling it. And then I watched the episode and I
- 0:54Speaker 1: felt the exact same way. What we're talking about here
- 0:58Speaker 1: is I think what we'll concentrate on in this episode
- 1:01Speaker 1: and that is just the fact that there's a lot
- 1:05Speaker 1: of Rachel feeling defeated and that I understand. But it
- 1:11Speaker 1: was a little overboard. We'll dive into that when we
- 1:15Speaker 1: get there, but we do like to go in chronological
- 1:17Speaker 1: order here, so let's start with the morning after last
- 1:24Speaker 1: rows ceremony. There's only one thing to say. What you
- 1:29Speaker 1: got to read read my mind here, so remind me
- 1:33Speaker 1: morning after is Hayden and meet. Oh well, meat Ball,
- 1:40Speaker 1: that's it? Oh my? What blaring? Like my question? I
- 1:46Speaker 1: was just like, okay, meat Boss here, meat Boss here,
- 1:48Speaker 1: Meatballs here, we're not addressing meat is here, right, And
- 1:51Speaker 1: he just addresses it and says she gave him a
- 1:53Speaker 1: second chance. Totally. They left us on a cliffhanger a
- 1:56Speaker 1: little bit. Okay. They showed their conversation and she was like,
- 1:59Speaker 1: dude of mine, you basically and now you're saying we
- 2:03Speaker 1: need hard time together. It would have been hilarious conversation
- 2:07Speaker 1: to see, like how she actually dealt with it? Right?
- 2:10Speaker 1: How do they not show it? I don't know. Release
- 2:13Speaker 1: the video online, guys, put it on. There has to
- 2:16Speaker 1: be dot com. We need this bonus footage. It shouldn't
- 2:19Speaker 1: have been bonus footage, no, which should have been included.
- 2:21Speaker 1: That was kind of a big deal deal. Yeah, I
- 2:24Speaker 1: know he denied her Rose I do, I do give
- 2:29Speaker 1: him credit that afterwards, it's kind of like a Jason
- 2:32Speaker 1: Mesnick thing. Didn't seem like a joke when he was
- 2:35Speaker 1: the whole to the music, right, it's like, oh, this
- 2:40Speaker 1: is like a funny thing that's supposed to be in
- 2:41Speaker 1: the credit bay right, totally, you're right, You're right, But
- 2:45Speaker 1: but I do What I want to say is it
- 2:47Speaker 1: was kind of like a Mesnic thing realizing after he
- 2:51Speaker 1: gave Melissa the rose that he wanted to be with
- 2:53Speaker 1: Molly and meat Ball, realizing that he denied her rose,
- 2:58Speaker 1: and then he was regretting it. Just stick around, he did. Yeah, No,
- 3:03Speaker 1: I know, I think you're not getting Gabby's rose. You're
- 3:07Speaker 1: obviously coming back because you want to stick around yourself, right,
- 3:11Speaker 1: And I think as we see later, which you know
- 3:14Speaker 1: will go in chronological order, But I do think that
- 3:18Speaker 1: there's a role for him. It's probably not with Rachel
- 3:21Speaker 1: in the end, but there's a role for him probably.
- 3:23Speaker 1: He's actually quite fun to watch. He's pretty endearing. The
- 3:27Speaker 1: other big thing that comes out with the Next Morning
- 3:31Speaker 1: is that Hayden is saying pretty crappy things he's saying
- 3:37Speaker 1: on film, like, does he even freaking realize he's part
- 3:40Speaker 1: of a television show, I know. So he says things
- 3:45Speaker 1: like I don't see how any of these guys can
- 3:48Speaker 1: see themselves marrying one of them. And then he's apparently
- 3:52Speaker 1: says something about boobies and how his ex girlfriend has
- 3:57Speaker 1: a better rack than these girls. Well and also and
- 3:59Speaker 1: I first of all, these girls got nice bities. I mean,
- 4:03Speaker 1: come on, Brian. Literally, we were watching the episode, and
- 4:08Speaker 1: Ryan rarely watches, but he was watching with me, and
- 4:11Speaker 1: he was like, I don't know how that guy is
- 4:14Speaker 1: actually like looking her in the eye. Yes, talk about boobies,
- 4:21Speaker 1: but I will say that, Um, Hayden did say something
- 4:25Speaker 1: about my ex like neither of these I don't know
- 4:29Speaker 1: if it was bitches compared to the bitches and compared
- 4:33Speaker 1: to I don't know what. We're not like formulating the
- 4:35Speaker 1: sentences properly, but those are the phrases, let's see. Frustrating.
- 4:40Speaker 1: He also said something like Gabby used the word rough
- 4:43Speaker 1: around of the edges to describe herself, but then I
- 4:46Speaker 1: say it to her and she's not okay with it.
- 4:48Speaker 1: It's a little It's kind of like, um, when girls
- 4:51Speaker 1: call each other bitches. Oh, exactly like if we said,
- 4:54Speaker 1: if we said these bitches. It's like an endearing thing
- 4:58Speaker 1: bitches all the time and references right right, Yes, we
- 5:02Speaker 1: can call each other bitches. You cannot this bitch no,
- 5:07Speaker 1: not okay. When a boyfriend, a potential love match calls
- 5:12Speaker 1: you a bit not okay. Not for all those guys
- 5:14Speaker 1: listening out there, don't ever use the word yeah. All right.
- 5:19Speaker 1: So now we see that Jason and Tino get picked
- 5:22Speaker 1: out of the crowd to do the one on one
- 5:24Speaker 1: day it's in Paris. What I'm assuming happens here because
- 5:27Speaker 1: it's because like they get separated, is the other guys
- 5:29Speaker 1: are staying back, you know how Usually they say and
- 5:33Speaker 1: go pack your backs because an hour you're hitting there
- 5:35Speaker 1: planning going to friends. That never happens, as we always
- 5:38Speaker 1: tell you this, It like usually has a day over
- 5:42Speaker 1: and like an l a X airport, you barely ever
- 5:44Speaker 1: go on the plane when they say you're going in
- 5:46Speaker 1: plan right, So these guys are going to hang back,
- 5:48Speaker 1: and I'm assuming that Jason and Tino gets to fly solo,
- 5:51Speaker 1: which is probably really nice and relaxing for them, although
- 5:54Speaker 1: I did kind of have a little thought I wonder
- 5:57Speaker 1: if they're missing like the hangout the guys because it
- 6:00Speaker 1: is fun. The travel days are fun. The travel days
- 6:03Speaker 1: are fun. They'll experience it, apparently on a cruise ship.
- 6:06Speaker 1: I know that. I'm a huge cruiser. You are teen cruises. Yes,
- 6:13Speaker 1: they're all royal. They're all Royal Crube except one princess
- 6:16Speaker 1: that I went on seventh grade. We did not like
- 6:18Speaker 1: Princess Princess, will never sponsor because princess. We are actually
- 6:24Speaker 1: godparents to the Ruby Princess. Oh my gosh, so horrible
- 6:28Speaker 1: of me to say. Listen, it was. It was two
- 6:32Speaker 1: thousand and we just know we had we had gone
- 6:35Speaker 1: Royal crubeyan and then we tried our princess and we're like, not,
- 6:38Speaker 1: you know what, you could try it again, because they
- 6:40Speaker 1: do have beautiful cruise ships and we actually got to
- 6:44Speaker 1: christen the cruise ships were godparents and cruiship so cool.
- 6:48Speaker 1: So do you have a plaque like a little picture
- 6:50Speaker 1: in the lobby? We do. We are job that is
- 6:53Speaker 1: so awesome. People will write me all the time and say, oh,
- 6:57Speaker 1: I'm on your cruise ship. How funny is that? I mean?
- 6:59Speaker 1: And we get like notifications when it's there. The Ruby
- 7:03Speaker 1: Princess's birthday, All right, attention Ruby Princess let's do a
- 7:09Speaker 1: bachelor cruise and try to win me over from my
- 7:13Speaker 1: seventh grade, my seventh grade. Uh, what's the word, Yeah,
- 7:19Speaker 1: my seventh grade boggle. I was a ridiculous You wonder
- 7:22Speaker 1: how ridiculous I was. I walked into the dining room
- 7:27Speaker 1: twelve year old, and I go I started crying because
- 7:32Speaker 1: it wasn't grand enough in comparison to the Royal Caribbean
- 7:37Speaker 1: dining room. This from the girl who named her son
- 7:41Speaker 1: Dawson after Jack Dawson, Like, I have something about romance
- 7:45Speaker 1: upon the high seas. Okay, I love grandios high romance.
- 7:51Speaker 1: This cruise ship thing is so up my alley, and
- 7:54Speaker 1: if it's not up yours, then you gotta go cruise more.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Jared doesn't like cruises, Okay, I can go on. We could,
- 7:59Speaker 1: we could go on. But yes, Jason and Tina are
- 8:02Speaker 1: flying to Paris for their one on ones, and I'm
- 8:04Speaker 1: super excited that these two were selected. They were great
- 8:10Speaker 1: choices for this. I loved the connection between both of them,
- 8:15Speaker 1: and I think that's what we pull into the The
- 8:19Speaker 1: next breakdown with Rachel is that she has such a
- 8:23Speaker 1: great sill the hell out the whole episode. Tina is sexy.
- 8:29Speaker 1: He's your guy. Like, don't the connection right, Like you
- 8:34Speaker 1: could just leave with him like Claar did. Like you
- 8:37Speaker 1: guys are amazing together. I know. I'm the same thing
- 8:41Speaker 1: with Jason and Gabby. I just cute, so cute, and
- 8:46Speaker 1: he now I know me too. And maybe because he
- 8:51Speaker 1: reminds me of Ryan. You know, Ryan's very reserved and introverted,
- 8:54Speaker 1: similar to Jason. Jason, right, yeah, similar to Jason. And
- 9:00Speaker 1: I love that he actually opened up about therapy and
- 9:03Speaker 1: they could connect about that. I thought it was really deep.
- 9:06Speaker 1: I thought it it had sparks, chemistry, all the things.
- 9:10Speaker 1: It was great. They were such a good foundation. Yes,
- 9:13Speaker 1: I love that. And I didn't even know his name
- 9:14Speaker 1: before now say, and now he's my favorite of her group.
- 9:19Speaker 1: I do love him. The one thing with Tino is
- 9:23Speaker 1: he's also quite reserved. I feel their chemistry a lot.
- 9:28Speaker 1: I like, there's there's great romance there. But I don't
- 9:32Speaker 1: I need to know him more. You want to know
- 9:34Speaker 1: his personality? No, I I want to know more about him.
- 9:37Speaker 1: He's definitely like that dashing He's just that guy from
- 9:41Speaker 1: like this cast, you know what I mean, that's the
- 9:43Speaker 1: one that stands out as like, ah, you're the one
- 9:45Speaker 1: that everyone like, you're just the one on night one
- 9:49Speaker 1: he stand out. Yeah, he did, and and he still does. Yes. Okay,
- 9:54Speaker 1: so Yeabby jokes that she's like in love, which is
- 9:57Speaker 1: cute because it was before Jason and her even like
- 10:00Speaker 1: we're kissing and stuff, as before they're even their hard conversation. Um,
- 10:04Speaker 1: it's cute that the girls had that little reconvenience. Yes, really,
- 10:08Speaker 1: you want to go to the bathroom? Super cute. I
- 10:11Speaker 1: love that they have each other. I will say this
- 10:14Speaker 1: season I have been a little disappointed. And we can
- 10:19Speaker 1: get into that, get into it. We'll get into it.
- 10:21Speaker 1: But um, I will say that the fact that they
- 10:24Speaker 1: have each each other, I really do love that. It's
- 10:26Speaker 1: really nice and it's so genuine. Well, let's get into
- 10:31Speaker 1: it now because we're kind of getting into that territory. Yeah, okay.
- 10:34Speaker 1: So I just feel like from yes was I years
- 10:40Speaker 1: and years and years and years and years ago. We
- 10:41Speaker 1: don't even have to count how many years. Um, things
- 10:44Speaker 1: have changed, clearly in production, in structure and all of that. Well,
- 10:49Speaker 1: you're saying yesterday that you aren't a fan of the
- 10:51Speaker 1: fact that they're like kind of winging it and they're
- 10:53Speaker 1: letting the girls decide the format. It does not make
- 10:57Speaker 1: any sense to me why Jesse will walk in and
- 11:00Speaker 1: be like, well, it's up to you. I'm like, uh no,
- 11:03Speaker 1: it shouldn't be up to them. They should be given
- 11:06Speaker 1: like the the you want them scaffolding if you will,
- 11:11Speaker 1: you know, like the structure of it, and then they
- 11:13Speaker 1: can play with whatever. But I just feel like it's
- 11:16Speaker 1: so messy. I don't like how messy it is and
- 11:19Speaker 1: how like everything's up in the air. I feel like
- 11:23Speaker 1: I don't know if it should have been from the
- 11:25Speaker 1: get go. There should have been a group for Gabby
- 11:27Speaker 1: and a group for Rachel. I don't know that that
- 11:29Speaker 1: would have worked, but I do feel like there should
- 11:32Speaker 1: be more structure or format. I feel like that could
- 11:35Speaker 1: have worked. But I love how they do it. The
- 11:38Speaker 1: thing would be here, Actually, this would be super interesting.
- 11:41Speaker 1: That's something that they would never do. Have the girls
- 11:43Speaker 1: part of casting in the casting room with the producer
- 11:48Speaker 1: and be like, I want him cast it for me.
- 11:49Speaker 1: I would idea people would have loved that, right, because
- 11:53Speaker 1: who doesn't love you know, I watched so you think
- 11:55Speaker 1: you can dance? I don't know if you watch that
- 11:56Speaker 1: show at the this part of the show that I
- 11:59Speaker 1: love the most is the casting, is the audition part
- 12:02Speaker 1: of it. They need to pull that into the next
- 12:04Speaker 1: season or onto something that we're so onto, something that
- 12:09Speaker 1: would have been incredible, and it would have given the
- 12:11Speaker 1: proper structure throughout the entire time, and there wouldn't have
- 12:14Speaker 1: been any like I'm rejected. I'm rejected, except I suppose
- 12:19Speaker 1: if you really think about it, those guys could have
- 12:21Speaker 1: been like, I'm in the same room as Gabby now
- 12:23Speaker 1: and all of a sudden, I want to be with
- 12:24Speaker 1: Gabby because I guess that could have always happened, and
- 12:28Speaker 1: because this is a show, and you know, we do
- 12:29Speaker 1: acknowledge productions. Sometimes if there was a guy that was
- 12:33Speaker 1: a little bit on the fence, of course they're going
- 12:35Speaker 1: to exploit it. And we see that happening with Logan.
- 12:37Speaker 1: We do. We'll get that to get to that in
- 12:39Speaker 1: a second. Um, But I guess Tristan, my question to
- 12:43Speaker 1: you is about the structure. Don't you feel like now
- 12:47Speaker 1: we have we have got it? We do? I just
- 12:50Speaker 1: feel like it took like it's been a little hard
- 12:53Speaker 1: to watch two to this point for me, just because
- 12:57Speaker 1: of the lack of structure or format and Um, I
- 13:01Speaker 1: just feel like there would have been less hurt feelings.
- 13:05Speaker 1: We could have saved all of that. And mind you,
- 13:09Speaker 1: I said this to you yesterday. I get it. This
- 13:13Speaker 1: is a television show. They are trying to get people
- 13:16Speaker 1: to continue to watch. It's been on for almost twenty years.
- 13:19Speaker 1: They need to change things up, right, I get it.
- 13:23Speaker 1: I just feel bad for the girls that they're kind
- 13:25Speaker 1: of like the guinea pigs in this situation. They're supposed
- 13:29Speaker 1: to have one job and that is defined love, and
- 13:32Speaker 1: they have kind of two jobs right now, which is
- 13:34Speaker 1: navigating this unique situation and worrying about their friends. You know,
- 13:38Speaker 1: Like I don't know. I just feel like there are
- 13:40Speaker 1: a lot of different variables that didn't have to be
- 13:43Speaker 1: part of the equation. Okay, let's take a quick break
- 13:46Speaker 1: before we get into Gabby's date card. Okay, so Team
- 13:58Speaker 1: Gabby gets their date card. By the way, I like
- 14:01Speaker 1: the way that they have different parts of the ship.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Why do I think that's cool? And each guy has
- 14:06Speaker 1: their own lounge. I think it's cute. But I thought
- 14:10Speaker 1: it was really funny when one of the guys was like,
- 14:13Speaker 1: I can't remember which group it was, and he was like,
- 14:15Speaker 1: and we can go out on the balcony if we
- 14:17Speaker 1: want to go outside. Yeah, it's like, well, it seems
- 14:19Speaker 1: like we have more freedom here. I wonder if they
- 14:22Speaker 1: have their own rooms. I'm sure you think they each
- 14:24Speaker 1: other own rooms. And that's a luxury we never had,
- 14:28Speaker 1: you know that. In one city in Santa Fe, I
- 14:31Speaker 1: had to share a bed with my two friends, a
- 14:33Speaker 1: king bed. The three of us would. Yeah, that's how
- 14:36Speaker 1: it was. Well, technically we got me a cod we
- 14:39Speaker 1: got me a bed. Oh no, I had we had
- 14:42Speaker 1: twin beds. I never had to share a bed with anybody.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Very nice. Well, these guys are going on the date
- 14:48Speaker 1: Nate Kirk, Quincy, Eric Michael, Mario, Spencer, Johnny, and it
- 14:53Speaker 1: says love conquers all, but not without a fight. I'm
- 14:55Speaker 1: reading that list of guy names and I don't know
- 14:58Speaker 1: if it's because of the season's format, but I don't
- 15:00Speaker 1: know any I know. I know Nates, I know Eric,
- 15:04Speaker 1: I know Mario, Johnny, But I can't tell you who right.
- 15:10Speaker 1: You know what I can just because after this episode,
- 15:14Speaker 1: that is the I couldn't have told you if I
- 15:17Speaker 1: didn't see them on this I can so I can.
- 15:19Speaker 1: I can picture their faces when I read their name,
- 15:21Speaker 1: but I wouldn't be able to pull up their name. Yeah, exactly.
- 15:25Speaker 1: All right, Well, it's a classic bachelorette date. The guys
- 15:29Speaker 1: are going to box for love, and you know, Latla,
- 15:32Speaker 1: I basically dazed over it because everybody knows on this
- 15:34Speaker 1: podcast that whenever there's like some sort of sporting events,
- 15:37Speaker 1: I'm like, fad, it tells me nothing about you. I
- 15:41Speaker 1: did like how they had h they had to tell
- 15:44Speaker 1: her like profess their love to her in the beginning.
- 15:47Speaker 1: That's cut. Yeah, So the real takeaway from this date
- 15:52Speaker 1: is Rachel shows up with her guys and she sits
- 15:59Speaker 1: next to Gabby as if like they're kind of like
- 16:00Speaker 1: sitting on throws, like they're gonna be the judges, right,
- 16:03Speaker 1: and the guys are going to be the audience. But
- 16:06Speaker 1: Rachel gets super duper upset that none of the guys
- 16:10Speaker 1: are coming up to her as she sits with Gabby,
- 16:12Speaker 1: and I'm like, girl, I love you, but this is
- 16:17Speaker 1: not the environment which you guys think it's natural to
- 16:21Speaker 1: come right. So I will say, Okay, So again, Ryan
- 16:25Speaker 1: does not watch. He watched this episode. He turned to
- 16:28Speaker 1: me and he said, Okay, do you think Rachel's being
- 16:31Speaker 1: too sensitivesiatic, and I did say I I hate to
- 16:36Speaker 1: like say anything negative because it is such a pressure
- 16:40Speaker 1: cooker exactly what's going on, So you see what you're
- 16:43Speaker 1: gonna say, And then I just want the audience to
- 16:44Speaker 1: know that we like have we're going to defend her
- 16:46Speaker 1: in a second. For sure, I like, I don't I
- 16:49Speaker 1: hesitate to say this kind of stuff, but I do
- 16:53Speaker 1: feel like she was being overly sensitive, especially after her
- 16:57Speaker 1: date with Tino. Exactly again, girl think Tino, don't even
- 17:04Speaker 1: worry about these buffoons. And then I'm thinking, Okay, this
- 17:09Speaker 1: is ridiculous. But I know that if I were in
- 17:11Speaker 1: the situation, I'd probably be reacting the way that she's reacting.
- 17:14Speaker 1: And she definitely is going through this like a kind
- 17:18Speaker 1: of like a pity me thing, and it's like what
- 17:20Speaker 1: we all do. I'm not, you know, bashing on her
- 17:23Speaker 1: for it when you get like rejected or you have
- 17:26Speaker 1: a sad moment, and then you're also like in another
- 17:28Speaker 1: moment where you're like, wait a second, this is going
- 17:30Speaker 1: that I thought, like all those things pile up on
- 17:33Speaker 1: your head total like wait a second, nobody wants me,
- 17:39Speaker 1: and she's probably not gotten any sleep, and they just
- 17:42Speaker 1: traveled like all of these things. There are so many
- 17:45Speaker 1: things happening. It is a pressure cooker of stress, So
- 17:47Speaker 1: I get it. But what I want to say is
- 17:50Speaker 1: I wanted to reach through the television and be like,
- 17:53Speaker 1: remember Tina and remember Zack from last week. All you
- 17:59Speaker 1: need eat in this world right now for you, Rachel
- 18:02Speaker 1: is Zach and Tino, and to side between the two
- 18:03Speaker 1: of them exactly, and and then you know, a couple
- 18:07Speaker 1: other guys really kind of uh yes, I will say
- 18:12Speaker 1: I thought it was a missed opportunity for those guys
- 18:18Speaker 1: to not have sought her out, because there are every
- 18:21Speaker 1: single season there's an episode like that where one guy,
- 18:24Speaker 1: especially lately, like I remember it vividly with Michelle. It
- 18:29Speaker 1: seems like a pattern that like now they're trying to create,
- 18:31Speaker 1: is like the why don't sign moment? Right like come on, Like,
- 18:36Speaker 1: But I do think it was a missed opportunity by
- 18:38Speaker 1: the guys, and I think they realized that when they
- 18:40Speaker 1: saw her. I know, I know, let's see then we
- 18:43Speaker 1: have Okay a Gabby goes on like that one on
- 18:46Speaker 1: one small day with I love. The fact of the
- 18:49Speaker 1: cruise ship gives them a place for all these little
- 18:52Speaker 1: one on ones in one spot. This is probably like
- 18:55Speaker 1: the easiest for like the scouting team. But I was
- 18:59Speaker 1: disappointed that at one date in France, you guys go
- 19:01Speaker 1: to Paris and one day in there, and then the
- 19:05Speaker 1: rest is on a docked cruise ship. I thought that too.
- 19:08Speaker 1: But what I do wonder is I wonder if they're
- 19:11Speaker 1: traveling to the next location and they were at sea,
- 19:16Speaker 1: you know what I mean? Because I thought that too.
- 19:19Speaker 1: I was like, they're freaking in Paris, why are they
- 19:22Speaker 1: sitting on the cruise ship? But I bet they're at sea.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Going to another location probably makes everything so much easier.
- 19:27Speaker 1: They don't have to go to airports. What did they
- 19:30Speaker 1: pretend like, you guys, what did they pretend that you
- 19:33Speaker 1: guys were? Um, we were supposed to be like a
- 19:35Speaker 1: dance squad when we traveled and people asked us and
- 19:39Speaker 1: people were like, oh my gosh, like so many cute girls,
- 19:42Speaker 1: like what are you guys doing? And then we're supposed
- 19:43Speaker 1: to be like we're a dance team. So going back
- 19:46Speaker 1: to my season, we didn't travel. Um, they didn't do that.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Back then. We went to I went to Hawaii with
- 19:56Speaker 1: Alex but just me. Yeah, it was like we each
- 20:00Speaker 1: traveled individually. Alright, So Gabby and Spencer their date. Oh yeah,
- 20:06Speaker 1: they talk about being um military background, which is really nice,
- 20:11Speaker 1: but we don't get like a whole time, Like it's
- 20:13Speaker 1: not the really most memorable moment. No, I don't. I
- 20:15Speaker 1: don't see Spencer. Spencer is like, maybe he'll We're already
- 20:19Speaker 1: down to five guys. It's crazy guys each So I mean,
- 20:23Speaker 1: like Spencer even gonna make it through to next week.
- 20:25Speaker 1: I don't know, probably not. Okay, So then we um
- 20:29Speaker 1: gotta go to Rachel's group date, which happens after she
- 20:33Speaker 1: talks to the menout being all upset. This is juicy.
- 20:41Speaker 1: This was the weirdest thing ever. I say, this is juicy.
- 20:45Speaker 1: That's not the right word, is of course, Okay, cringe
- 20:52Speaker 1: e is the word then for this. When I was thinking,
- 20:56Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I said juicy, thinking that we were going
- 20:58Speaker 1: to talk about the whole um rambo thing. But no,
- 21:01Speaker 1: we're not there yet. That was the That was like
- 21:03Speaker 1: the cocktail party dating, not to the group date. The
- 21:06Speaker 1: group date is when she brings the guys into this
- 21:10Speaker 1: room with romance experts in Paris. Oh so we did
- 21:13Speaker 1: have that, Okay. So they went to some like castle.
- 21:15Speaker 1: They had romance experts. Okay, it wasn't the only they were.
- 21:19Speaker 1: They were still okay, okay, so we got a little
- 21:22Speaker 1: some then. But you know, anyway that when they opened
- 21:25Speaker 1: with those two kissing, I was, oh my god, that
- 21:27Speaker 1: was the grosses kissing I've seen. There was like eighties
- 21:30Speaker 1: movie kissing. If you guys go back and watch nineteen
- 21:33Speaker 1: eighties movie kissing. It was like that, and it's gross.
- 21:35Speaker 1: So no, I literally that it started with that, those
- 21:38Speaker 1: two kissing like the experts, and I was like, these
- 21:41Speaker 1: people are not actively I'm not taking any advice from
- 21:46Speaker 1: this from a girl who ate crystals his face on
- 21:49Speaker 1: a balcony ones, but you know, ne forget about that.
- 21:53Speaker 1: And then they proceeded to have all the guys like
- 21:57Speaker 1: there were a bunch of like, oh they were kissing them.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Oh my god, French kissing their hands. I wanted to die. Disgusting.
- 22:05Speaker 1: It made the armpit smelling like actually fine, like arbage smelling. Sure,
- 22:10Speaker 1: making out with your hand in front of everybody so cringing.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Why were you guys so bad at flirting? Oh yeah,
- 22:16Speaker 1: what was that? Well, I mean I think it's given Okay,
- 22:19Speaker 1: she said, Well, first she was wrong. The expert quote
- 22:23Speaker 1: quote said that flirting is with your body language, not
- 22:26Speaker 1: with words. That is absolutely not true. That's called body language.
- 22:29Speaker 1: You're not, You're so right. Body language. Flirting is with
- 22:33Speaker 1: your voice, the conversation featuring the bang. Like, yes, I
- 22:40Speaker 1: guess there could be like flirting if you're like grabbing
- 22:44Speaker 1: someone's ass or flortageous body language. But when we think
- 22:48Speaker 1: of flirting, we think of totally if your first meeting someone, yeah, yeah,
- 22:53Speaker 1: that was a married couple, and I'd be like, no,
- 23:00Speaker 1: I thought that date overall was I kept saying, I
- 23:04Speaker 1: would have been mortified to be on this date. I'm
- 23:08Speaker 1: like mortified when thousand percent all of it um, but
- 23:16Speaker 1: I do want to There's like one moment that there
- 23:19Speaker 1: was okay, So back to the flirting in the body language.
- 23:21Speaker 1: I was thinking, like why is this so awkward? And
- 23:23Speaker 1: I'm like, I guess because like they have to go
- 23:25Speaker 1: up and like with their body in front of all
- 23:28Speaker 1: this all the people like be I don't know that
- 23:32Speaker 1: was she didn't seem into it, like she truly seems
- 23:36Speaker 1: turned off, Like she seemed like she was getting the
- 23:38Speaker 1: X by how can you not? I know, She's like,
- 23:41Speaker 1: oh god, I don't like I mean person, yeah, like
- 23:44Speaker 1: we were getting the ex watching it if you're there
- 23:47Speaker 1: live in person all huge turn off and it actually
- 23:52Speaker 1: worked against their relationships. Like Zach was on this date
- 23:57Speaker 1: and they have a really strong like she was even
- 24:01Speaker 1: I know, I was alarmed for that. In my head,
- 24:05Speaker 1: he's runner up. Yeah, I did not like to see
- 24:09Speaker 1: if Now, if this had date happened and she got emotional,
- 24:13Speaker 1: then I'd be like, you know what, you should get
- 24:15Speaker 1: emotional because you like none of them? Right, But but
- 24:18Speaker 1: but I will back let's back up though, because Tyler
- 24:21Speaker 1: really stepped up. I like stealing this illusion from one
- 24:26Speaker 1: of the Bachelor Instagram accounts, but like, is he not
- 24:29Speaker 1: somebody from a Disney Channel original movie? He totally he
- 24:32Speaker 1: looks like a little Disney star. He does. But I
- 24:35Speaker 1: like him and I love that he is all in
- 24:39Speaker 1: for Rachel and it seems like he's ready, like when
- 24:45Speaker 1: you over with the words segment when he had to
- 24:47Speaker 1: declare like love but not even that. It was before
- 24:51Speaker 1: that when he was and this might not have been
- 24:54Speaker 1: to Rachel, but when he was um telling everyone that
- 25:01Speaker 1: he wanted to be with Rachel, like Rachel was his
- 25:03Speaker 1: chosen one not Gabby like that. I think he just
- 25:09Speaker 1: he knows what he wants and I think that's attractive.
- 25:13Speaker 1: So she chooses him for the one on one day.
- 25:15Speaker 1: He talks about a past relationship where he bought a
- 25:17Speaker 1: house for them and the girl was like, I can't
- 25:19Speaker 1: be with you anymore. And he says that the unconditional
- 25:23Speaker 1: love that he felt then when they were together was
- 25:26Speaker 1: the best feeling and he wants to give that to
- 25:28Speaker 1: the right person. Yeah, And it's just like it was
- 25:30Speaker 1: like all very sweet and he did zoom to the
- 25:33Speaker 1: top of the list for me. He is one of
- 25:35Speaker 1: the more memorable guys for Rachel. And then they kiss
- 25:39Speaker 1: and it seems like she's like into it. It does
- 25:41Speaker 1: that they have a great connection in chemistry, so I
- 25:45Speaker 1: really liked them together. Uh. And then Jesse and Logan
- 25:49Speaker 1: are talking and then this is when the whole Logan
- 25:51Speaker 1: drama comes in and I'm like, Logan, now, I'm sorry,
- 26:00Speaker 1: but it's like, you're not a front runner in either
- 26:04Speaker 1: of these in the unit of these groups. Yeah, and
- 26:08Speaker 1: it is just like messing with for no reason. Well,
- 26:11Speaker 1: you know, they're trying to throw in drama. They're trying
- 26:13Speaker 1: to throw it in you know that he mentioned it,
- 26:15Speaker 1: and the producers like, build that up. Wait a second,
- 26:19Speaker 1: feelings Gabby And it's like, well, how do you feel?
- 26:22Speaker 1: And Gabby walks into your room, right, yeah, you got
- 26:24Speaker 1: to explore this. Let's put those little seeds. I think that, Um,
- 26:31Speaker 1: I don't think that Logan will last that long. I
- 26:36Speaker 1: don't think he'll be the end guy. Yeah. Um, I
- 26:40Speaker 1: do give him credit for being honest with himself. If
- 26:44Speaker 1: he truly is feeling that he likes Gabby more than Rachel,
- 26:49Speaker 1: I think that he should explore that and not give Rachel, um,
- 26:54Speaker 1: you know, lead her leader on exactly. Um. So, I
- 27:00Speaker 1: don't know, we'll see how that all transpires. But of
- 27:03Speaker 1: course that was going to happen. You knew this was
- 27:05Speaker 1: going to happen. It gave the audience such major anxiety
- 27:08Speaker 1: because here she is crying over these guys who aren't
- 27:11Speaker 1: like pulling her aside during boxing, and little does she
- 27:14Speaker 1: know that one of the guys is considering going to
- 27:17Speaker 1: the Gabby side exactly, like, come on, let's add to
- 27:21Speaker 1: the pile now, and then well, well let's let's wait
- 27:26Speaker 1: until the end. Overall, though, I am more interested in
- 27:31Speaker 1: Gabby story in Rachel's storyline than gabby story. Do you what? Um,
- 27:36Speaker 1: I don't know. I guess because the connections that I'm
- 27:39Speaker 1: feeling between her and Tino and Zach and last week,
- 27:43Speaker 1: I just feel it. I just feeling this more and
- 27:46Speaker 1: I don't feel like this grand connection with Gabby. I
- 27:49Speaker 1: do say that Jason, I'm now interested in Jason. I
- 27:53Speaker 1: think that it fluctuates for me. Really. Yeah, Like each
- 27:56Speaker 1: episode it's different or even different parts of the episode.
- 28:00Speaker 1: That's what keeps you interested. And that's why I think
- 28:01Speaker 1: the season is nice, because there's it's constantly interesting. You're right,
- 28:05Speaker 1: and and that's why that's why they did what they
- 28:08Speaker 1: did to get people talking. Yeah, you know, and that's
- 28:11Speaker 1: okay because the show has been on for how long
- 28:13Speaker 1: and we need to keep people interested, right yep. Um.
- 28:16Speaker 1: So now Logan in the cocktail party, he's thinking it's
- 28:20Speaker 1: time to come forward with the honest truth and we're like,
- 28:23Speaker 1: oh god, not now, right, not now. But I actually
- 28:26Speaker 1: he ends up accepting Rachel's rose, and I know it's
- 28:30Speaker 1: going to backfire for him, but honestly, in the moment,
- 28:34Speaker 1: I was like, thank you, dude, Yeah, thank you, because
- 28:36Speaker 1: she couldn't handle it. Right now. You're right. Actually, I
- 28:41Speaker 1: haven't thought about it like that. I thought, I mean,
- 28:45Speaker 1: he's in a he's in a hard place because he
- 28:48Speaker 1: does not have the opportunity or he did not have
- 28:50Speaker 1: the opportunity to say anything because they canceled because there
- 28:55Speaker 1: which we will get too sorry about going out of order. Yes,
- 28:58Speaker 1: so I I do think he didn't have the opportunity
- 29:02Speaker 1: or it would have been a big like it would
- 29:06Speaker 1: have blown up, you know, and it would have taken
- 29:08Speaker 1: time away from everybody, blah blah blah. But um, the
- 29:13Speaker 1: fact that he's there for Gabby when he's in Rachel's
- 29:18Speaker 1: pool is a little it makes me feel a little icky,
- 29:22Speaker 1: I know. And you know that now that she's down
- 29:24Speaker 1: to five, she's like I could have given time to
- 29:28Speaker 1: was that was my thought. That was my thought, is
- 29:32Speaker 1: that why did you do that? Because then he could
- 29:36Speaker 1: have stick stuck around that That is But what we
- 29:40Speaker 1: really need to think about and what I want the
- 29:42Speaker 1: girls to have a reality check about. It's just like
- 29:45Speaker 1: you probably weren't going to take Logan or George, you know,
- 29:49Speaker 1: like those were your bottom too. That's what I hope, Yeah,
- 29:53Speaker 1: that's what I hope. It wasn't going to be right.
- 29:57Speaker 1: But then Rachel even acknowledges this. She goes, even if
- 30:01Speaker 1: I'm getting rejected by guys that I don't really see
- 30:03Speaker 1: a future in, it's still getting rejected and that always hurts.
- 30:07Speaker 1: So yeah, it's a big bruise to your ego. So
- 30:09Speaker 1: it's not and it's sometimes and I think I've said
- 30:12Speaker 1: this on the podcast in the past couple of weeks,
- 30:13Speaker 1: but sometimes it hurts even more to be rejected by
- 30:16Speaker 1: somebody that you're not really into, because you're like, not
- 30:19Speaker 1: even you want me. You're right, I agree. Okay, so
- 30:25Speaker 1: let's take a quick break because I really want to
- 30:28Speaker 1: dive into this crazy man Hayden and the cocktail party,
- 30:43Speaker 1: and we're back. Hayden approaches. I have to side Hayden,
- 30:51Speaker 1: who already sucks approaches um Rachel with like the moment
- 30:57Speaker 1: that he really thinks he's going to open up, and
- 31:00Speaker 1: that is the fact that his dog has cancer. And now,
- 31:02Speaker 1: what I don't like about this whole scene is that
- 31:04Speaker 1: it's like belittling the relationship that people have with their
- 31:08Speaker 1: dogs and that their dogs aren't a part of the
- 31:10Speaker 1: fair like it makes it seem like dogs shouldn't be
- 31:12Speaker 1: regarded as part of the family. Yeah, and that like
- 31:15Speaker 1: we shouldn't be like super sad for this guy that
- 31:17Speaker 1: like his loyal companion, his cancer, Like I feel a
- 31:21Speaker 1: lot for him, and it's totally belittled here. Like even
- 31:24Speaker 1: when he leaves, it's like, yeah, I'm ready to go
- 31:26Speaker 1: see him again. I want to find unconditional love. Like
- 31:29Speaker 1: I mean, I know it's supposed to be silly, but
- 31:32Speaker 1: like also let's know what you know what I mean
- 31:35Speaker 1: totally our dogs are part of our family. I would
- 31:39Speaker 1: be heart broken if I were him, So lots of
- 31:44Speaker 1: love his way, and I hope his dog is okay,
- 31:47Speaker 1: but but but but but but at the same time
- 31:51Speaker 1: time it is all ridiculous. He you know, comes with
- 31:55Speaker 1: the photo album of his dog and tells what he's
- 31:58Speaker 1: going through, and it's starts to get a little bit
- 32:02Speaker 1: m when he says just letting me know, like my
- 32:06Speaker 1: dog is sick at home and I'm here for you.
- 32:09Speaker 1: That's when you're like, Okay, well you're not really what
- 32:13Speaker 1: did you just say about me? Yeah, it's just it's
- 32:15Speaker 1: starting to feel And then he takes out the dog's
- 32:20Speaker 1: radiation stuffy and that makes me feel really awkward because
- 32:25Speaker 1: like my dog. Also my dog. I had one dog
- 32:28Speaker 1: who had cancer and she had like her little thingies
- 32:32Speaker 1: and m he just don't bring it on you just
- 32:35Speaker 1: don't bring it on the date and the fact that
- 32:38Speaker 1: I know it's the fact that you put it in
- 32:40Speaker 1: the suitcase. He was like, I'm going to put this
- 32:43Speaker 1: in my suitcase and show one of the bachelorettes this
- 32:46Speaker 1: and tell them the story. That is so cringe e,
- 32:49Speaker 1: so cringe e. And what I was thinking also is
- 32:51Speaker 1: wait a second. You took the dog's toy away. That's
- 32:55Speaker 1: like a comfortable dog stop it. And the dog is
- 32:59Speaker 1: that is supposedly going to be passing away soon, and
- 33:04Speaker 1: you took away a comfort for the dog. Stop that's
- 33:07Speaker 1: so that's cruel. See then he's not there. This is
- 33:10Speaker 1: all a farce. I mean, we know it's we know
- 33:13Speaker 1: it's all silly, like it's it's silly, and it's not silly.
- 33:15Speaker 1: You know. I keep saying I hate him, and yet
- 33:18Speaker 1: I understand dogs sadness, the sadness, but don't use that
- 33:22Speaker 1: he's using. Okay, thank you for saying that. That's exactly
- 33:25Speaker 1: what it is. He's using his dog sickness as like
- 33:28Speaker 1: some poor pity me types I felt that way. Um,
- 33:34Speaker 1: I I feel sorry for the loss that he will
- 33:39Speaker 1: be experiencing, but I don't think it's appropriate to bring
- 33:42Speaker 1: it in at this point in the relationship. Now I
- 33:44Speaker 1: don't know, No, absolutely not. That was just my thought.
- 33:47Speaker 1: It's just like he's like, I don't have a sad
- 33:49Speaker 1: story about my family. I'm gonna use my dog sickness
- 33:53Speaker 1: as my pity story. And then people are gonna feel
- 33:56Speaker 1: for me. Then she's gonna feel for me anyway. And
- 33:58Speaker 1: then we get interrupted by Tino, which I'm sure she's like,
- 34:03Speaker 1: thank the Lord, all nutty, and and now hating goes.
- 34:08Speaker 1: I can't believe how rude it was that she that
- 34:11Speaker 1: she accepted Tino um when I was in the middle
- 34:14Speaker 1: of such a conversation, Like, if it were me, I
- 34:16Speaker 1: would have been like, excuse me, I need a few minutes.
- 34:19Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, I'm sorry. But no, I did not
- 34:21Speaker 1: think she was disrespectful. No, she wasn't. I didn't think
- 34:24Speaker 1: so at all. I didn't think Tina was disrespectful in
- 34:27Speaker 1: that situation. I think he just said they probably were
- 34:30Speaker 1: in there for a while. Tina was like, I want
- 34:32Speaker 1: to talk to her, and asked very nicely if he
- 34:35Speaker 1: could interrupt, and then Rachel said are you okay with that?
- 34:39Speaker 1: She didn't say okay, well we're done here, you know,
- 34:42Speaker 1: she said are you okay with that? He could have
- 34:44Speaker 1: said can we have a couple more minutes or something,
- 34:47Speaker 1: and then he held it against her later, I know, no,
- 34:50Speaker 1: it was not cool. And then um, Meatball comes in
- 34:55Speaker 1: and I'm liking Meatball in this moment. There's a different
- 34:59Speaker 1: is roll. Everybody has a purpose, guys. So he comes
- 35:04Speaker 1: in and he tells her exactly what he's been saying
- 35:07Speaker 1: that we were mentioning earlier in the show, and she's
- 35:10Speaker 1: fired up. She goes and pulls him aside, and she's like,
- 35:13Speaker 1: you know what I'm going to talk to you about?
- 35:15Speaker 1: And I love this about it and she's like, what
- 35:17Speaker 1: am I going to talk to you about? And he's
- 35:19Speaker 1: like Rambo And then she's like, are you kidding me
- 35:22Speaker 1: right now? And he's like, I would have thought that
- 35:24Speaker 1: you were pulling me aside to continue the Rambo conversation,
- 35:27Speaker 1: apologize for my time away, and then she repeats all
- 35:34Speaker 1: the things that he said. Um, and she says, can
- 35:39Speaker 1: I walk you out? And then he gets walked out well,
- 35:42Speaker 1: and he denied everything that. He was like, what are
- 35:46Speaker 1: you talking about? I never said that. I'm like, um,
- 35:48Speaker 1: play the tape. It's untape, dude. Wow. You are like
- 35:51Speaker 1: really don't know how to play this game. Like you
- 35:52Speaker 1: think you're knowing how to play this game. You're really
- 35:54Speaker 1: bad at it. You are on a television show. Everything
- 35:58Speaker 1: almost everything is recorded, so you don't think that that
- 36:02Speaker 1: was recorded. I don't understand. I I literally said to Ryan,
- 36:06Speaker 1: you know when when I knew we were going to
- 36:08Speaker 1: do this, I didn't know if this was the type
- 36:10Speaker 1: of episode where you would bring someone from the show on,
- 36:13Speaker 1: And I was like, I wonder if we're going to
- 36:15Speaker 1: have to talk to Hayden. Oh god, we're not there yet.
- 36:19Speaker 1: I would I would be really cold. I was like,
- 36:22Speaker 1: I don't know if I can talk to him anyway. Yeah,
- 36:26Speaker 1: I I just he's like just bad vibes, guys, bad
- 36:30Speaker 1: bad vibes. I am not okay with someone who says
- 36:34Speaker 1: something really rude and disrespectful like that and doesn't own
- 36:38Speaker 1: up to it. No. He sounds like the kind of
- 36:40Speaker 1: guy that like flirts with girls, thinks that he's entitled
- 36:43Speaker 1: to their affection, then goes and talks about them behind
- 36:47Speaker 1: their back exactly. Yes, he's gross not a fan. Okay. Uh.
- 36:52Speaker 1: Then we basically to the real road ceremony, which we've
- 36:55Speaker 1: touched on already. Um. Gabby gives her first rose to Nate.
- 37:00Speaker 1: Nate really seems like the front runner right now with
- 37:03Speaker 1: him with her with her. Yeah, Rachel to even really
- 37:07Speaker 1: like even he's another person in the group that like
- 37:10Speaker 1: we need to see more of because he's like, Okay,
- 37:12Speaker 1: there's there's Tino, then there's Zack, and then there's I
- 37:18Speaker 1: really liked team. I really like to even get Rachel. Um.
- 37:22Speaker 1: Then Gabby gives a rose to Eric, which we could
- 37:25Speaker 1: talk about that, but we don't have enough time right now.
- 37:27Speaker 1: I think that I like Eric, but listen, she's like
- 37:31Speaker 1: remember last week and she's like, um, if only I
- 37:34Speaker 1: could be with a man like Eric, And I was like, girl, yeah,
- 37:38Speaker 1: we are you serious? Many times have I said girl
- 37:40Speaker 1: in this podcast? I'm like, no, no, no, you you
- 37:45Speaker 1: should be like Eric needs you know, like, let's see
- 37:48Speaker 1: if this guy deserves me not. Yes, I agree. Rachel
- 37:53Speaker 1: gives a rose to meet Ball. I love it. I
- 37:56Speaker 1: love to see it. There's no love here, but you know,
- 38:01Speaker 1: he's fun to talk to. Yeah, Gabby gives her rose
- 38:05Speaker 1: to Johnny, which we've seen nothing from Johnny, nothing, nothing,
- 38:09Speaker 1: He's been a mute. You know what though, is that
- 38:12Speaker 1: indicative of the fact that he's going to Yes, because
- 38:17Speaker 1: I feel like in my during my season, we didn't
- 38:20Speaker 1: see Ryan for a while either. All right, Yeah, I
- 38:22Speaker 1: think that happens often. Usually one Rachel gives her roses
- 38:26Speaker 1: Zack and a surprise there. Gabby gives her a rose
- 38:28Speaker 1: to Michael. Uh, Michael, right, Yes, he's kind of someone
- 38:34Speaker 1: that I don't know that well, I don't know. Rachel
- 38:38Speaker 1: gives her rose to Ethan, who I also really don't know. Yeah,
- 38:41Speaker 1: he's the guy who crawled on the cringeing date. Okay
- 38:44Speaker 1: remember that? Yeah, all then we go to the final roses.
- 38:47Speaker 1: Gabby gives her rose to Mario. Interesting how Mario was
- 38:50Speaker 1: a first impression rose, then somebody the two of them
- 38:52Speaker 1: showed interested and now we're just not seeing anything and
- 38:55Speaker 1: he got the last rose last week. Yeah, so on
- 38:58Speaker 1: the cost. And then Rachel gives her last rose to
- 39:01Speaker 1: the controversial Logan. Logan says yes, and Rachel says, with intention,
- 39:05Speaker 1: I'm so sorry we didn't have time to speak. We'll
- 39:07Speaker 1: be able to speak this week. Yes, I know that's
- 39:10Speaker 1: a little heartbreaking. It's a little heartbreak. That was heartbreaking.
- 39:13Speaker 1: The guys that go home, Gabby sends Quincy and kirkhomb
- 39:16Speaker 1: and Rachel sends Jordan's home, and next up they are
- 39:19Speaker 1: going to Belgium? Yes, I think? Is it Belgium? Um? Anyway,
- 39:25Speaker 1: any final things to say that you don't think we covered?
- 39:28Speaker 1: I think we covered all of it. I mean, I
- 39:34Speaker 1: I am always a fan. I watched every single season.
- 39:39Speaker 1: I've watched every single episode of every single spinoff, blah
- 39:42Speaker 1: blah blah. But this this season, I don't know. I'm
- 39:46Speaker 1: I'm going to continue to watch. I just I just
- 39:50Speaker 1: hope that because they have defined the groups now that
- 39:53Speaker 1: it won't be as messy. Well, we know it's gonna
- 39:55Speaker 1: be a messy next week. Well true, you're right, So
- 39:58Speaker 1: we gotta get Pastgan. That's okay, And that's okay, that's
- 40:00Speaker 1: kind of that was expected messiness. Do you know I
- 40:03Speaker 1: had to switch to some guy, had we wouldn't have
- 40:06Speaker 1: a you know, or some kind of confusion you know
- 40:10Speaker 1: about who he wanted to be with. Do you foresee
- 40:14Speaker 1: each of girls bringing home four guys? Because I don't
- 40:17Speaker 1: that's eight hometowns, and I don't think they're enjoy a hometown,
- 40:20Speaker 1: especially because they're with five right now. They're not gonna
- 40:22Speaker 1: They're not going to get there, definitely not right now.
- 40:24Speaker 1: I say that each girl brings their final to home,
- 40:27Speaker 1: I bet you're right, or they bring the family out
- 40:29Speaker 1: to Europe or whatever. Well, and oh so they wait,
- 40:34Speaker 1: how are we going to do this? Maybe both families
- 40:37Speaker 1: come at the same time, like the girls family and
- 40:39Speaker 1: the guys family. They're all going to have like a
- 40:40Speaker 1: pow wow. Do they do they stay on the cruise ship.
- 40:42Speaker 1: I don't know. I think they say the cruise ship
- 40:44Speaker 1: for like two weeks of filming times that's but not
- 40:47Speaker 1: the whole time, like they end up somewhere at the end.
- 40:50Speaker 1: The finale is not going to be like when Jack
- 40:52Speaker 1: and Rose doing Now, holy sh it, don't tease me
- 40:57Speaker 1: with a good time, because that would be my ultimate
- 41:01Speaker 1: Bachelor proposed. Don't want that. I would be extremely jealous,
- 41:06Speaker 1: extremely and be like, Jared, why didn't you do that?
- 41:09Speaker 1: And then Leonardo DiCaprio shows up to find to hand
- 41:14Speaker 1: out the final rose. This is your final rose. Amazing, amazing.
- 41:21Speaker 1: All right, let's go through some quick Bachelor headlines. Uh.
- 41:25Speaker 1: First up, Tyler Cameron sheds light on why he clashes
- 41:29Speaker 1: with Matt James girlfriend Rachel who knew this? I mean
- 41:33Speaker 1: nobody until now I know. So I don't know why
- 41:36Speaker 1: he's addressing it shedding light. I don't either. So what
- 41:40Speaker 1: watch What Happens Live? He was on Watch What Happens Live? Um, well,
- 41:45Speaker 1: definitely been on Watch what happens Like, Oh yeah, look
- 41:47Speaker 1: at that, he says. Oh yeah, he said, watch what
- 41:49Speaker 1: Happens Live. Um, that there was a love hate relationship.
- 41:52Speaker 1: And now he's clarifying, Okay, what this means. He says,
- 41:55Speaker 1: I think people I think that Matt and I aren't
- 41:58Speaker 1: friends because we're not in each other's everyday lives the
- 42:01Speaker 1: way we used to be. Um, that's true, but like
- 42:05Speaker 1: you know, you grow up and you're getting relationships. The
- 42:07Speaker 1: two of them used to hang out as single bros.
- 42:09Speaker 1: He says, I think it's part of growing up and
- 42:12Speaker 1: entering a relationship. So exactly what I said. Um, And
- 42:14Speaker 1: then he said, we all have those friends that you
- 42:17Speaker 1: grow up, they start dating somebody, they get married, they
- 42:19Speaker 1: do your thing and you see him when you see him. Yeah,
- 42:22Speaker 1: it's called again growing up. Being an adult. Um. And
- 42:26Speaker 1: then as far as the Rachel thing, he says, what
- 42:32Speaker 1: does he say that? He says, I definitely I was
- 42:34Speaker 1: going through my own ship. We just have our own
- 42:36Speaker 1: ways of clashing. I don't like listening to people sometimes.
- 42:39Speaker 1: And she's strong and has a really good musically. This
- 42:43Speaker 1: isn't yeah. I thought this was like a joke, like,
- 42:45Speaker 1: oh yeah, we kind of actually do um. But you
- 42:51Speaker 1: know what, sometimes you just don't have like the greatest
- 42:55Speaker 1: relationship with your friends significant others. That sucks. It does
- 42:59Speaker 1: for for everyone involved because then the friends can't hang
- 43:03Speaker 1: out and I mean hopefully they can be adults and
- 43:08Speaker 1: and be civil and hang out when they are all
- 43:11Speaker 1: together as a group. And it doesn't affect Tyler and
- 43:16Speaker 1: Maths relationship that much. But I also don't want it
- 43:19Speaker 1: to affect Matt and Rachel's relationship. I don't think it
- 43:22Speaker 1: will affect Matt Racil's relationship. They've gone through it all,
- 43:25Speaker 1: they've survived it all. Let's just read this quote verbatim
- 43:28Speaker 1: because it is quite juicy. I don't like listening to
- 43:30Speaker 1: people sometimes, um, Tyler says. And she's strong and she
- 43:34Speaker 1: has really good opinions on a lot of things, and
- 43:37Speaker 1: sometimes I don't want to hear it um. He also
- 43:40Speaker 1: says that he knows that Rachel always means well and
- 43:43Speaker 1: is a really good person who's a really good match
- 43:45Speaker 1: for Matt. There's tension and I want to know more.
- 43:52Speaker 1: Let's see. Oh, Katie Thurston joins, Riah. I'm like, I
- 43:59Speaker 1: don't even how to pronounced Ria. Riah. It's the dating
- 44:03Speaker 1: app for like celebrities and influencers and like Hollywood creatives.
- 44:08Speaker 1: She said, I can't even make a friend. She said,
- 44:12Speaker 1: have you guys heard of the dating app Riah? It's
- 44:15Speaker 1: supposed to be like an elite dating app that you
- 44:17Speaker 1: have to be like applied to get on and get
- 44:20Speaker 1: approved of. Blah blah blah. She goes, I was like,
- 44:22Speaker 1: I'll ply now and then six and from six months
- 44:24Speaker 1: from now, I started dating. Well, they approved me right
- 44:27Speaker 1: away right away. I wasn't ready to be approved, but
- 44:31Speaker 1: that's fine. And then she goes, but then I matched
- 44:33Speaker 1: with someone and we're talking and then I get unmatched.
- 44:36Speaker 1: That means she goes just for friends. What does that mean?
- 44:41Speaker 1: That means she got How do you got unmatched? Does
- 44:44Speaker 1: that mean they can like? That's funny? Okay, So she
- 44:48Speaker 1: ended up deciding to use the app for finding friends instead,
- 44:52Speaker 1: So even though she was talking to someone, she ended
- 44:54Speaker 1: up being like, oh, hey, we matched, but guess what,
- 44:56Speaker 1: I'm just here friends? Oh got it? Okay, But now
- 44:59Speaker 1: she says, it's is having a hard time finding friends
- 45:01Speaker 1: on the app. Yeah, no, don't. You don't have to go, Katie.
- 45:06Speaker 1: I think that you don't have to rush. I don't
- 45:09Speaker 1: think you no rush. But also I feel like you
- 45:11Speaker 1: have good friends. I don't know if you have to
- 45:13Speaker 1: go on a dating app for friends for difference, I
- 45:16Speaker 1: don't know. And she's thirty one. I think there's there's
- 45:19Speaker 1: no rush. She's fine. She's hopefully she's fine, do you
- 45:22Speaker 1: know what I mean? Um, hopefully she can make a
- 45:25Speaker 1: friend in real life and not just on Riya Riya
- 45:28Speaker 1: whatever it's called. Alright. Final headline Rachel Lindsay defends keeping
- 45:35Speaker 1: Brian's her marriage with Brian private post Bachelorette. So she's
- 45:38Speaker 1: on Instagram and she's always like people are always asking
- 45:42Speaker 1: her where's Brian. And so she got on Instagram and
- 45:46Speaker 1: she said that, like they're just trying to keep their
- 45:50Speaker 1: relationship private. Um. Dim the spotlight a little bit on that.
- 45:54Speaker 1: She said that she talks about when they're going to
- 45:57Speaker 1: have babies or the timeline on that on her blog
- 46:00Speaker 1: honestly rage. But now she wants to talk about the question,
- 46:04Speaker 1: whereas Brian's she gets it all the time, and she says,
- 46:07Speaker 1: let me be frank, Brian is none of your business.
- 46:11Speaker 1: I am joking, well half joking. However, she understands that
- 46:15Speaker 1: there's a curiosity between, you know, the relationships, since it
- 46:19Speaker 1: did start on reality TV. She goes, in reality television,
- 46:23Speaker 1: in that world, it's designed for your relationship to fail.
- 46:26Speaker 1: We survived and we came out on top. So quite naturally,
- 46:29Speaker 1: the audience wants to know what we're doing, if we're okay,
- 46:32Speaker 1: and what the what's next for our future. They want
- 46:35Speaker 1: the love story to still play out um for their
- 46:38Speaker 1: public perception. But our contractual public story ended on August seven,
- 46:46Speaker 1: seven team. At that point we decided we want to
- 46:49Speaker 1: We wanted to control the future of our relationship. Up
- 46:53Speaker 1: until that point, the confines of our relationship were determined
- 46:58Speaker 1: for us. Now we're free and we do We decided
- 47:00Speaker 1: to pull away from the public eye to build a strong,
- 47:03Speaker 1: solid foundation, and we successfully did that. So it is
- 47:06Speaker 1: interesting to me that people want to define the success
- 47:09Speaker 1: and happiness of our relationship by the number of social
- 47:11Speaker 1: media post comments, likes, and stories that we post. I mean,
- 47:18Speaker 1: I will say Ryan and I from kind of the
- 47:21Speaker 1: get go where we didn't have social media at least
- 47:25Speaker 1: clarify that. So there wasn't the um the pressure to
- 47:31Speaker 1: post anything about your relationship. I know that this happened
- 47:34Speaker 1: to I feel like this happened to Caitlin a little
- 47:37Speaker 1: bit ago, where she was kind of defending why she
- 47:40Speaker 1: hasn't posted anything with Jason lately or whenever it was.
- 47:44Speaker 1: You know, it comes up and people because people just
- 47:46Speaker 1: want to know. People are curious, Like she said, um,
- 47:48Speaker 1: and she did say social media is not a reflection
- 47:51Speaker 1: of reality. I agree with that. I don't post that much,
- 47:54Speaker 1: you know I do, but I but I don't configurate
- 47:57Speaker 1: it not having to like prove to everyone that you're happy. Agreed. Agreed.
- 48:02Speaker 1: I I feel like there's a little bit of defensives
- 48:06Speaker 1: in there, so I hope that they're not in a
- 48:09Speaker 1: bad place. I think they're fine. I think Rachel just
- 48:11Speaker 1: doesn't want to I don't think she wants to be
- 48:14Speaker 1: part of the franchise at all anymore. And I think
- 48:17Speaker 1: that she's probably saying, like in my relationship was founded
- 48:22Speaker 1: on the franchise, so therefore I don't even want to
- 48:24Speaker 1: show off anything that happened from it makes right. Alright, Well,
- 48:30Speaker 1: it is time for us to wrap. Trista, this is
- 48:32Speaker 1: so much fun doing like I love doing it with
- 48:35Speaker 1: you so much. Thank you for having me. Thank you
- 48:38Speaker 1: for you know, coming on here and doing our spin

- 48:50Speaker 1: have um o G guests that maybe you've forgotten about,
- 48:54Speaker 1: and then you're gonna be like, oh my god, I
