Brian Homer, the visionary photographer, designer, and entrepreneur who helped shape Birmingham’s cultural landscape, has died at 80. Co-founder of the iconic photography magazine Ten.8 and pioneer of community magazines Grapevine and Broadside, he later built a thriving design agency focused on public sector work. A lifelong libertarian and Aston Villa fan, he also co-founded Villa Matters and championed modern jazz through photography and live music.
