Philippians 1:12-21 (Ronnie Cordrey)

Paul is writing from prison to his friends in a city where he was beaten publicly, yet he still has the robust confidence to rejoice. This passage reveals the priorities and heart of Paul: he can suffer with hope because it’s God’s agenda that shapes his perspective, not his current circumstances.
