Snatchers of snakes and lizards strike across Virginia and Maryland, stealing over 60 reptiles from pet stores to flip for profit on social media. Police nabbed two suspects — DeSean Bagley, found with snakes, geckos, bearded dragons, and handguns, and Xavier Igo — while still hunting a key female accomplice wanted for felony larceny. The crew allegedly operated in pairs, raiding stores like Petco between March and May. Most stolen animals were recovered and handed to animal control.
