Transcript
- 0:00Salam alaikum and welcome to episode 50, 50 on the aftermath
- 0:04of podcast, where today we are celebrating one year of weekly
- 0:09conversations with myself on the co-host and everyone here at the
- 0:12team after matter of where we want to look back and sort of
- 0:15recap. You know, all the excitement,
- 0:17all the conversations, all the highs and the lows that we've
- 0:20had throughout the year, but more importantly, it is because
- 0:23of your support and your engagement with the podcast.
- 0:26Now, I don't know where to begin, but as always my life.
- 0:30Electricity of times on the first episode.
- 0:32You said I walk on my electric co host electric or eccentric,
- 0:36cause I don't know who's right. Whatever.
- 1:0150 episodes, martial law, Isaiah Sala, Allah Muhammad Ali
- 1:05Muhammad. I think about first is mad
- 1:13ironic that we the one-year anniversary of after Mother of
- 1:18felt on the 50th episode. Sounds like there's 52 weeks in
- 1:21a year. Sorry, there's 52 weeks in a
- 1:22year. They took a break here and there
- 1:24and he's obviously 50 others land on the whole one year.
- 1:27Yeah, but it's cool when it's not know how we got 50 because
- 1:30of this 52 weeks in a year. And we had the few weeks of a
- 1:32break between season one or two Ramadan.
- 1:34We had exactly complete coincidence, coincidental
- 1:40school, isn't it? Why?
- 1:42So, obviously, has been a massive Journey.
- 1:44So, before we even start guys, thank you so much from the
- 1:46bottom of our hearts. You have made after Maghrib
- 1:53serve its purpose. And its purpose is purely just
- 1:55to give back to the community, to try and engage with people to
- 1:58try and serve our youth to try and thank our elders.
- 2:02And inshallah to grow as as a generation of Western Muslims
- 2:06who are striving to be on the path of Allah.
- 2:07Subhan Allah elevates the name of Saddam.
- 2:10But and I always think back on this, our members in the
- 2:14kitchen, one day is making chili probably like a may 20-22 leave.
- 2:18No invite. And we were talking on the group
- 2:22chat, what should we call the podcast?
- 2:25Remember. Yeah, who is it?
- 2:27What are you guys suggested aftermarket ago?
- 2:29We were going to go with shatter.
- 2:31Yeah, I really don't want to go share chat.
- 2:33That that's it was not my idea. And I remember thinking after
- 2:38Margaret, very interesting name initially, I wasn't 100% on a
- 2:43bit. I grow on me now, Pete.
- 2:45You know, someone said to me the other day Hamid, I had thought I
- 2:48don't see you in in daylight I only see aftermarket it.
- 2:52Yeah, everywhere I go. Now there's a Pun.
- 2:57And ironic thing is that every time like on a meet my friends
- 3:00or something, with always message will link after Margaret
- 3:03and then smiled my brain, just res podcast, actually, the
- 3:06timing of the Salah basically stops.
- 3:08I've been traumatized is really just Roma.
- 3:11I'm having kind of worked out well but I just want to read
- 3:16some statistics for you guys. Okay gone.
- 3:18I watched about I want you. When you edit this, I beg you
- 3:20bro. Put this up on the screen,
- 3:22depends. Mashaallah drum right?
- 3:25Then One year in after 50 episodes, 12 thousand followers
- 3:31across social media. 2.8 million views on social media, while
- 3:3890,000 listens to our episodes across platforms as 90,000 mad
- 3:45and fifty episodes. Until now, 10 percent of our
- 3:48audience is under 17, 31 percent of our listeners are between 18
- 3:53and 22. And 25 percent of our listeners
- 3:57are between 23 and 27. 6. Out of 10, listeners are
- 4:01sisters. And most of our listeners are in
- 4:05the UK in the US. And then surprisingly, we've got
- 4:08listeners around the world, I can completely which one of
- 4:12those stands out to you the most in terms of areas.
- 4:16I just that which statistic surprises you do you think said
- 4:20the nineteen thousand listeners? 90,000 listens.
- 4:23Listen. Sorry.
- 4:24Yeah, that's mad. That's crazy.
- 4:27Yeah. I mean yeah I mean first I think
- 4:30it goes to show that Charla one on the right track because I run
- 4:35those, a previous podcast where you mentioned, you know, there's
- 4:37like a certain Milestone podcasts normally have to reach
- 4:41and if they reach the they go beyond these points.
- 4:44I mean, and shallow on the right track here and I think it's the
- 4:46one you mentioned this last week, I met in the group chat
- 4:49you like only 5% of podcast make it past episode 50.
- 4:53I'm going to just play it now because someone else someone one
- 4:56of The listeners sent sent it to me.
- 4:59After hearing that podcast. Yes, I had to apply a good
- 5:03friend of ours. He sent us this, like this point
- 5:05in discussing listen to this year. 1970 forecasts don't make
- 5:09it past episode 3, and off the 10% to 90% o.
- 5:13Make it past episode 20. So by making 21 podcasts you are
- 5:16in the top percentile of all podcasters ever in history.
- 5:21That's what heart feels like and that's not even hard.
- 5:23It should be consistent. Burners like struggling to win.
- 5:25It's like most Of the pain that people experience is purely in
- 5:29their own minds 90% of. That's crazy.
- 5:32That's crazy. So I think it's a good
- 5:35achievement. Not self achievement is nothing.
- 5:38But, in terms of the hard work that the team for sin.
- 5:40Because as much as me, and you are saying here, there's
- 5:42actually a lot of work. The majority of the words behind
- 5:45the scenes, of a yin-yang everyone to come in on a Monday
- 5:48at 9:00 p.m. to coming after Mother literally of Corporation.
- 5:51Yes. Sometimes, you know, they need
- 5:53to come to the set up the cameras.
- 5:54The mics, the editing, the Being there is so much that goes on
- 5:58much contacting Edison. Yeah, on the phone two guests
- 6:01arranging all of the the the time location.
- 6:05And you know the post-production say most of all the editing of
- 6:09the podcasts, the reels captions, the cover photos, all
- 6:13of that stuff. Everyone is putting in work, it
- 6:15does not go unnoticed and we probably collectively put in
- 6:18thousands of hours a week. You know, I just want obviously
- 6:20thank as well as of a TV and say, that's on a good friend of
- 6:23ours for letting us reach this milestone.
- 6:26Oh, None Shall we can do it to continue to serve?
- 6:29Its yes. Especially from how much say
- 6:32that son loves the name. Yeah, sounds of cars scoffs my
- 6:36lesson. I will ask you guys a few
- 6:38questions gone. What has been your top three
- 6:43favorite episodes? I know it's hard to think like
- 6:45bang, bang, bang. I'll see you, one by one bounce,
- 6:48back and forth. So did or what episodes are the
- 6:52most memorable for you? And don't just think recent
- 6:54ones, you can think old ones as well.
- 6:56Most men. Durable episodes mostly I think
- 6:58every episode is memorable 100% because I get to spend time with
- 7:01you but then I get to go home and then, you know, think you
- 7:04know what we said, you know, what did I say excetera on?
- 7:08There's sometimes I would listen to it once it is.
- 7:10And I'm like, okay, that was a good episode.
- 7:12You know I thought I spoke nonsense best hamdulillah.
- 7:15You know. God has allowed us to sha Allah
- 7:17speak where we don't have issues.
- 7:20Ya. Ya Allah said yeah give me the
- 7:22three the three. Okay we'll give me one.
- 7:25Give me one. Comes to mind right now.
- 7:28The first thing that comes to my mind is the one we had the chef
- 7:32Joshua money. Hmm.
- 7:34Because that was one episode. I genuinely said that I fell in
- 7:37love with Allah, subhanahu wa'ta'ala onset.
- 7:40And once I go home until now, I feel like I saw of not that I
- 7:46had no love for Allah, subhanahu wa'ta'ala.
- 7:48That's literally, I felt the love of Allah and that
- 7:51conversation and that was one conversation where was focused
- 7:54on God completely. Yeah.
- 7:55And that's very rare for us. Us to always focus on just a lot
- 7:58of fun with others or one hour of Falling In Love With God, was
- 8:02worth every moment every minute episode 36.
- 8:05That was, so if you haven't heard it, make sure you go back
- 8:07and listen, definitely one of our most popular ones.
- 8:09Who are you? Most of all, there's three that
- 8:13stand out. I didn't finish mother's you,
- 8:15have you come up in the morning? Do you have them in mind?
- 8:18Go ahead. Go that like go, go go.
- 8:20I'm gonna say part-time Muslims. Yeah, the back in season 1.
- 8:23Yeah, well, we spoke about was related to Muharram and, you
- 8:26know, That was one of my all-time listening definitely,
- 8:29but the beauty of it from that episode, is that we didn't say
- 8:33these people are part-time Muslims.
- 8:34It's that we try to say, let's be consistent Muslims.
- 8:37And that was the term that I use.
- 8:38So I really enjoyed that episode as well.
- 8:40And that was one that connected a lot with the listeners.
- 8:41Yeah, hundred. I was surprised because I was
- 8:43like, you know, they might take it wrong, that were actually
- 8:45calling it part time, we will realize the audience really
- 8:48resonated, I hope so. And I feel like we realize that
- 8:51we're all in some degree are part-time or yeah, you know,
- 8:54we're part time everything but clarify, we were Not full-time.
- 8:57We tried now, I mean we're all part-time at something in it
- 9:00like we might be part-time, a good, son, part-time a good
- 9:05husband, part-time a good father, part-time a good
- 9:07employee, you know, so in many ways we also part-time a good
- 9:11Muslim. Hmm.
- 9:12You know. And that's not ideal.
- 9:14What's the third one? Said, she and proud.
- 9:16She I'm proud. I'll always remember that we
- 9:18chose that one. Would they do with that with the
- 9:20MMA guy? Yeah, we that really Raphael.
- 9:23Raphael thought that you know why?
- 9:26Joint that because I felt like although it's a lively
- 9:28conversation. It's me.
- 9:29Who I am? I feel like that podcast episode
- 9:32was just me. It was all you know Louis I was
- 9:34who I was. You are your Cy yourself?
- 9:36It was my comfort zone. Like my true comfort zone that
- 9:38conversation. Interesting.
- 9:40How about you sighs? I'm just looking back at like,
- 9:42all the first one is the part-time Muslim.
- 9:44Same reason said, how do you mentioned go on?
- 9:46Give me another 150 to my favorite content, wise was
- 9:49Abraham and Sarah's one. Yeah, I enjoyed the, yeah,
- 9:52really good. That was check the episode.
- 9:55You don't you can carry on. On on.
- 9:57Don't reply him on. Sorry if something got to do
- 9:59with do all it was maintaining a spiritual High.
- 10:03Yes. Well, I observed 14.
- 10:05Yeah. Great episode.
- 10:06Episode 4 to the third one, say what made you 31?
- 10:11I left my left, my heart, I think deep down we all really
- 10:19enjoyed listening to that. And the clips I think is one of
- 10:21our most loved Clips till today, 90 broke al-hassan, that one to
- 10:26be honest. If you have not heard if you're
- 10:28a new listener to after Maghrib, go back to season one, look at
- 10:33our content from last year Muharram and you will absolutely
- 10:36love it. I know inch'allah hopefully will
- 10:38but we did five or six episodes. Lost my arm was 6 or 7 to be
- 10:44honest. And some of them are really
- 10:45good. I have to yeah I loved for for
- 10:50the for the creativity of making the thumbnails gone, which is
- 10:53what guess, which one's the digital pajamas.
- 10:56I know. Wait, I know which ones they are
- 10:58if I had to guess. You and Route 8?
- 11:01Yes, and I'm a can't go see Anna.
- 11:04Nah. Okay.
- 11:05Toxic Tick-Tock has long-lasting ticked off his.
- 11:08I really do. Make it a thumbnail for that
- 11:10one. Very good.
- 11:11That's interesting. Why the person you bled?
- 11:13All right. Very interesting.
- 11:16So there's that and Route 81 done really well with just
- 11:19because of the thumbnail thumbnails.
- 11:21Fantastic. So the ones which I would say
- 11:24what's your three? So it's proper hard because
- 11:27obviously they're so different. You've got the more relaxed
- 11:29podcast, like the reaction videos, the chat GPT ones.
- 11:33Then we have like the one with a solid when we were having
- 11:37dessert and on Milan. And then we've got the more
- 11:39serious ones with guests or we're talking about more
- 11:42contentious topics. Yeah.
- 11:43But if I was to pick I really like African imams of Muhammad
- 11:48Ali. Of course, now as part of the
- 11:49team, you know racism racism that happen in a month.
- 11:53That was one of my favorites just because I think it touched
- 11:56on a really important issue. Number 18, episode 18.
- 12:00I love that one. There was one we did on
- 12:02Companions of my were saying on the remember.
- 12:05That was a good friend. Someone Muharram one we did one
- 12:09on. I think that was actually not
- 12:10special. Was it the arch Rajesh?
- 12:12Why we like, share some stories, the companions of the mom.
- 12:15Yeah. And then I managed to hear you
- 12:19recite at the end. Yeah, I think is that when we
- 12:21both broke down on the podcast that day, I really like that one
- 12:24when I think about the Muharram podcasts, I think my favorite
- 12:28podcast, I've been the seasonal ones.
- 12:30Mmm, I'm sure, Ranma harm, or whether this on Amazon, all our
- 12:35episodes on Amazon. I enjoy.
- 12:37I'm d'lai. They were all seriously.
- 12:39I feel like We done what we are what we are here to do.
- 12:44And you know, where we can firstly, have a conversation
- 12:47with in a podcast theme, you know, bring guess who can share
- 12:50wisdom, share knowledge at the same time, you know, where we
- 12:53can learn the listeners, can engage in and learn from as
- 12:56well. And I think Ramadan prove that
- 12:57to us. Yeah, and I know sometimes, mr.
- 12:59Vasquez with the statistics terms of, you know, I was
- 13:02profiled listeners, or wherever there's an apple Ramadan was
- 13:06like a flea, combs control. Martial law, Abdullah.
- 13:09I think I'm content was For our audience and it was just right.
- 13:13We must be wrong guys. If you were wrong.
- 13:15Correct us. Like, you know, if this is what
- 13:17you like to see last know reality, which is waffling where
- 13:19we think we're doing well. Now, I mean, obviously, we're
- 13:22trying our best to be waffling while I like so much people.
- 13:24Sorry to call you there. That me.
- 13:26And I'm, and we just sit here we talk.
- 13:27Sometimes, I think I'm talking nonsense.
- 13:29But then when I, when I learn down the line a few days later
- 13:33after the podcast episodes being released, someone says my life
- 13:36change. Yeah, I have the very beginning
- 13:37of off the market. I'm, I don't know if you
- 13:39remember this, maybe you will. Look what someone messaged and
- 13:43they sent a picture of the One hospital bed do.
- 13:45Like I was like the synced automatically thinking of
- 13:48suicide that was the right right thing I read and then I came
- 13:52across you guys know. Oh yeah and then Hospital on the
- 13:54sense they sent the photo and everything else.
- 13:56Like Han Allah likes a really tough.
- 13:58We can talk anything we can say no it was the sister who started
- 14:01talking about us on her podcast. Remember the very beginning?
- 14:04Yes. It's been a couple as well
- 14:06couple of sisters or two different podcasts, which have
- 14:09shouted us out and like loads of, which Hmm, we want to
- 14:12collaborate with, I like the some random ones.
- 14:14I'm just gonna throw some names out.
- 14:15Jin stories evil, and black magic.
- 14:17That was a wicked one avoiding music with sister.
- 14:19Hold our, that was really good in 1.2 with Imam mehdi podcast.
- 14:22That was cool. She has don't read Quran with
- 14:24Russian nationalists Q&A on her Instagram I think last week okay
- 14:30the week before and that I just like what's your favorite
- 14:32content I've posted and I think majority of her answers were
- 14:35after Maghrib, really? I really like that.
- 14:38Chef Andrew take one with your Chef travel on.
- 14:40It was wicked. Dad.
- 14:44Which ones I really liked. One would say Muhammad Musa.
- 14:46We start buying walk. I really liked the episode.
- 14:50Huh? Very good chemistry in the
- 14:51episode. Yeah, it was just like a nice
- 14:53chat. Was it titled ZR of these luxury
- 14:55holiday, buying walk and luxury hotels.
- 14:59Sick? Yeah, that's cool.
- 15:01And also the shell misconceptions one, you know, I
- 15:04love that a lot, which one the share misconceptions because I
- 15:08think that was the most engaged one Munich, when they always
- 15:10social good. Because it shows that a while I
- 15:14brought the misconceptions are real.
- 15:15You shh, don't do this, you sure.
- 15:18Why you looking at first? I am humbly beseech.
- 15:21Remember most of the comments of people baffled about what you
- 15:23talked about. They take out of context, bro.
- 15:25I went to I think I messaged you.
- 15:27I want to Center to recite for the birth of late, father's
- 15:32ahora. Yeah.
- 15:33After I finish some guy came up to me because I know you have am
- 15:36going to get attacked because you're the guy who said, who
- 15:38came first, I am Muhammad like, actually like that, like, that
- 15:41wasn't the question. This is crazy, huh?
- 15:46It's crazy. It's crazy.
- 15:48I'm do not come. What's the plans will also not
- 15:50going to be It's a good question.
- 15:53You ask the plan is we can't be stagnant economy the same and we
- 15:57should always improve not in terms of, for example, the
- 16:01content that we give out to our viewers and listeners but I
- 16:06think we should improve ourselves and the Beautiful
- 16:08Thing I like about this podcast is made me think twice sometimes
- 16:11if I should think twice before my shift thinking or three
- 16:13times. So if I were to do or say
- 16:15something or you know, associate some was not I'm like bro of
- 16:18course responsibility. No, hmm.
- 16:20And I do something wrong, I am going to get if I just If I do
- 16:23something wrong cochlea is not just me on the line.
- 16:25This is the podcast and we've built like a communal Global
- 16:29platform Community. When we can say there's
- 16:31Association, that should we should only show good on, do
- 16:34good and speak good and, you know, everything that's good.
- 16:36So how do I handle the community that we've built?
- 16:38I think it feels if it's a family, it's organic.
- 16:42Yeah, it doesn't feel like we just, we force these people to
- 16:45follow us or we tracked with with us and you really enjoy it
- 16:49when you speak to them. And for those who messaged us,
- 16:52will know that, Like we try to engage in conversation with them
- 16:55on on DM's and like a lot of people message their personal
- 17:00experiences as being people who've, you know, asked us for
- 17:04advice. Even though we're not like
- 17:06Olimar or psychiatrists or mental health advice or
- 17:08anything. But like will try and put them
- 17:11in the right direction to someone who can help or
- 17:12whatever, which I really appreciate just had one the
- 17:14other day feedback. Know if you read the DMS yeah
- 17:16there was someone they just mentioned, please don't mention
- 17:19it, something to mention it. What?
- 17:20I was. Yes, we I said I know, Can help
- 17:23to the best of our ability inshallah with the permission of
- 17:25Allah spawn with. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 17:28I just want to thank everyone as well, because for me on like a
- 17:31personal level as well, I think the podcast is allowed me to do
- 17:35something. I love.
- 17:37And that is to learn and to network and to meet people who
- 17:43are Godly and to try and do something small in the way of
- 17:47giving back by my nature. I enjoy media.
- 17:51Like, that's something I like to do, like, I like getting
- 17:53involved in media producing this show and hosting has been, like,
- 17:55one of the biggest honors for me and, you know, being able to, to
- 18:01grow with others and to learn from people, like yourself said,
- 18:05and obviously, all the guests we've been having on.
- 18:07It's been a complete honor. Obviously, there's been times,
- 18:10maybe where we have reflected on previous episodes recently all
- 18:15along time ago, and thought maybe I should have said that
- 18:18maybe we shouldn't have discussed this with the certain
- 18:20guess or maybe The voided this angle, or welded it differently
- 18:25and to be honest, like these things happen.
- 18:27Oh, maybe not use the, the title episode.
- 18:29Yeah, I know. See, we have these disputes
- 18:31internally but like, yeah, obviously, will these are these
- 18:35things happen? When you talk about matters of
- 18:37religion which are very sensitive and very touchy,
- 18:39right? But at the end of the day we're
- 18:42trying to just do our best. And like I said, maybe TV is
- 18:47smashed it by like their vision is to engage a young audience
- 18:51and aftermarket a Become the brand, which will do that.
- 18:54So of course, for those who don't know, aftermarket, a got
- 18:58is now kind of like an umbrella body in sha Allah, which the
- 19:01podcast is kind of initiated it. And of course, we now have
- 19:05German tonight's. If you've been tuning in with
- 19:07brother Muhammad Ali, who is incredibly talented, very
- 19:11good-hearted, very learned, for his age, speaks seven, eight
- 19:16languages. Now, Masha, Allah and he's got a
- 19:19bright future and had ahead of him and Sean are.
- 19:20So we need to support him. He knows his responsibilities.
- 19:24At least I can say is that's kind of helping produce that
- 19:26show with with with all of you guys in the team like he's got a
- 19:30good heart, he's good. But we know we need to we need
- 19:33to continue to support him. And we want to keep adding shows
- 19:37that a server, pipe is not for the sake of it.
- 19:39Yeah. But like stuff solves, the if
- 19:41you guys have got suggestions give us a shot and did indeed
- 19:44the need nothing. That was those a point where I'm
- 19:48going to share it here as a point where we've had two or
- 19:51three podcasts Oh, and then you've message me after I say
- 19:55it, how was the conversation? What do you think or do we just
- 19:57leave? And you say, call me when you
- 19:59drive by calling, we discussed about us.
- 20:01And I think that's important. It shows number one, we are, you
- 20:03know, watching what we're saying.
- 20:04Yeah, but mindful of the content and the conversation that we're
- 20:08having and releasing to the world, something more
- 20:10importantly is, how did we do? Did we fulfill our duty?
- 20:14Are we doing what we're supposed to do as host and the main
- 20:17thing, that's the most beautiful thing that I've learned from
- 20:19those conversations, is that I think in sha Allah, Our
- 20:24intention on aftermarket podcast sincerely Richard tremayne
- 20:29sincere and very recently there was discussion were having and I
- 20:32was like, bro, there's no for God, we're not having this
- 20:34conversation in person. If the ultimate goal is not lost
- 20:36upon a table with a one. This and then you mentioned, I
- 20:40think, 23 weeks back, something that stuck with me.
- 20:43I was like, you know what, I've never seen it that way, but it's
- 20:45true, like someone message. And they were like, you know,
- 20:47they really like our chemistry. The really like, you know, yeah,
- 20:51you are how I am and how it mixes both together.
- 20:53Yeah. And then I was like, you know
- 20:54what? That's because of one thing when
- 20:57you come on here, when I come in here, it's not a strike to score
- 21:00points. Try to say a better point or try
- 21:02to, you know, make some miles on the.
- 21:04No, that's not the goal. It's a serious inshallah humble
- 21:07conversation? Yeah.
- 21:08And that's what's led us to the success.
- 21:10We are in today and there's been like hosting with you is, I'll
- 21:15be honest. Yes, I do.
- 21:16I've worked. I'm dealing with a little bit
- 21:18TV, E for nearly approaching nine, ten years and I've hosted
- 21:26hundreds of had the chance to host, like hundreds of shows,
- 21:29whether its fundraising shows. Whether it's interview shows,
- 21:32whether it's game shows, whether it's question officers with
- 21:36Olimar, I've had the chance to do all my favorite shops little
- 21:40day has been asked about going to my favorite co-host today is
- 21:43being self, said on the no offense they don't have worked
- 21:46with in the past but specifically because I mean,
- 21:49Charles to the Michael podcast that, you know, this is not a
- 21:54thing yet. We initially recorded a podcast.
- 21:57Me most about, we kind of worked on something before before
- 22:00before or after 1 p.m. for after Morgan before to be able to even
- 22:03thought about asking you to join the team.
- 22:06Say it if you don't mind me saying but a few months before
- 22:08we even came up with aftermarket a a concept me and say most of
- 22:11our like a you know, a PTV needs is a podcast.
- 22:14So we came up with it and we had a team and we probably rule out
- 22:17eight episodes I wasn't involved with him but he was involved
- 22:20although you weren't in. It was same awesome.
- 22:22As I found out after that's finished recording.
- 22:25Oh my God. It was like, guys, this is this
- 22:27is the wrong direction to take. If you're doing a podcast to be
- 22:29fair is to is to formals. It was not traditional stuff
- 22:33like we try to refine it and then three, four months later,
- 22:37we revisit Circle, most of ours like I want to start a podcast
- 22:40again. Where do we do?
- 22:43And he actually recommended. You said, why did you recommend
- 22:46me the conversation? The, the podcast thing, by the
- 22:50way, is something I've been trying to work on.
- 22:52I think, I say initially started in around 2015, with some of my
- 22:55friends. Let's see how I left the tunnel.
- 22:59This is probably this probably 2017.
- 23:02I think we recorded 23 episode of the not.
- 23:05I wasn't happy with it. I was too busy.
- 23:07It was cool with the record. It.
- 23:10Do you remember the graphics I sent you for aftermarket the
- 23:12first time? Yeah I remember I thought it was
- 23:16cool. Oh my God no something else.
- 23:19My cows will be in cost Dean cost.
- 23:22Yeah we were gonna call this Dean cost around block all
- 23:25around 100. Miles in cost was a after I had
- 23:29a conversation with said, Haley I think.
- 23:31And he wanted to do a podcast with Muhammad Musa, we and
- 23:34zahedi. Yeah.
- 23:35Shall called the conversation. I was like, guys, come on, this
- 23:38is sounds like the most generic podcast, but you come across
- 23:41that, by the way, just as a disclaimer that podcast idea,
- 23:45had nothing to do with the how this setup.
- 23:47Even, oh no, I'm moving on. So then Ahmed ask me about
- 23:50postcards, I'm not listening, say how do you want to do a
- 23:52podcast? And I reckon you guys would do
- 23:55well together. This just means they knew each
- 23:58other but we think it's each other or not.
- 24:01Right. So we didn't get to see each
- 24:03other a law and yeah. It kind of was not how I see you
- 24:08more organically. I have I see more than I see
- 24:13flipping a lot of my own friends and you know, people are growing
- 24:17up. I mean I'm Darla over the next
- 24:2050 episodes. Guys is sha Allah what will be
- 24:24will be trying to just do our best and hopefully you'll see
- 24:28the new seasons 3 coming out soon.
- 24:30And obviously Muharram is coming up shortly.
- 24:32So we're going to try and give it our all means.
- 24:36Say that obviously we've obviously got our own lives.
- 24:39I'm Like, I haven't changes in my personal life, so there might
- 24:42be a point where I'm on or off the pot, but inshallah, we'll
- 24:45try and work around it and yeah, on to bigger, and better things
- 24:49to several lost one daughter, and a little bit of them
- 24:51slamming, that's it. Nothing else that's all are pure
- 24:54goal on a serve, go hide because they are and I like, that's our
- 24:58goal. Shalom, we're good.
- 25:00For the author like that. Shallow will go 0 to all the
- 25:03Muhammad first? I mean Charles inshallah
- 25:05inshallah God willing. More importantly, I think We
- 25:10need to thank a few people. Yeah.
- 25:12Yeah. We do.
- 25:13Lastly, the whole team here. Often.
- 25:14We got it. Okay, what about your phone at
- 25:17names on the screen that's up to you?
- 25:18That's some people like to remain anonymous, we'll leave
- 25:21that alone. That's what one more opponent to
- 25:23thank every single guest. That's common to every episode
- 25:27that we've had them on because I've learned so much from them
- 25:30and you know I've connected with them.
- 25:32Well otherwise I would have no all the game.
- 25:34Nothing. You know we'll just being
- 25:35another day with Dalia rather we are home.
- 25:37Yeah, nothing going on. Yeah the fact that come here
- 25:39learn from you is Um so thank you for coming to after microbe
- 25:42or more importantly is our listeners and our viewers.
- 25:45You know, whether you're watching on NBA TV on YouTube on
- 25:48Spotify, anyone wants to come on the podcast, feel free to
- 25:50message, you can give us a job. I mean, we've had guests over
- 25:53the last slide in the DMZ of optimal.
- 25:56It's a lot of us, it's always fun when we have people who
- 26:00enjoy the podcast on the podcast, over the last like
- 26:04three, four months. We've had a couple of guests who
- 26:06have put themselves forward and I've really enjoyed it.
- 26:09Yeah. They'll come for So, I want to
- 26:10discuss this with you guys. Obviously, we have what we've
- 26:13always said this, we prefer normal everyday, people.
- 26:16Rather than specialist. I expected.
- 26:18I do have to say some Wheels on the topic.
- 26:20Yeah. That's what topic hundred
- 26:21percent. And, and to be honest, we have a
- 26:22procedure in timely. So we will, we will, we have a
- 26:25production team and we'll ask if you've done something before and
- 26:29where your base, then what you want to talk about, and if it's
- 26:31appropriate and shall Like A Nazi their policies and you
- 26:34know, we've got to adhere to somehow come.
- 26:36Well yeah, we are, I couldn't agree more.
- 26:38So we have to thank all of these people.
- 26:40The guests, the subscribers, the team, of course here at another.
- 26:43And also those who have given us feedback, our family, our
- 26:46friends people in the community have been people have been
- 26:49really critical and we love it. We appreciate it.
- 26:52And they've been people who cornered us at the Moore school
- 26:55who have sat down, and had long discussions, how we can improve
- 26:59our times. I'm like, that's called me and
- 27:01say, bro, I just had a conversation.
- 27:02Someone said this WOW drops and handling is good feedback.
- 27:05Mostly? Yeah, it's not when it's not
- 27:09it's not like oh you guys Doing great, it's constructed which is
- 27:11helpful, right? So some point, the guy we learn
- 27:14how we become better and Shambala.
- 27:15We can continue to serve, we're not trying to be a lamb and
- 27:19show. No, no, no we're not.

- 27:23One over here to tell you how lot of her own words tell you
- 27:25shall know what's good, what's bad for our experience and

- 27:30everyone's having between their friends.
- 27:32Yeah, yeah yeah. Probably dead.
- 27:35Lacks their lakhs. Beneficial content for a young

- 27:42on a frequent live mesas you know, God forbid if a natural
- 27:46disaster happened or four, holy Shrine got attacked.
- 27:49Or if a mosque in the west, a shooting Moscow saying I got
- 27:53attacked. Yes, we have, we have media
- 27:56organizations, like on the big TV and other media, we have
- 28:00Charities, which act on the ground, but they use are like,
- 28:03what do we do. I'm too young to be able to give
- 28:06millions of pounds. I'm too young to go and Lobby,
- 28:08the government. Why do ya listen softer?
- 28:12Yeah, in the sense that we can discuss, we can learn our ideas.
- 28:18We can, we can address matters in life time and if you have,
- 28:22you might live in a community where you don't have a circle of
- 28:25friends, who you can discuss this with all your friends are
- 28:27not mature enough, or you don't have the right circle of friends
