  Speaker 2: lets you have it. If you say I need you,

  Speaker 2: It's just a real simple thing, man. So always say

  Speaker 2: to people this, if you've gotten yourself into something, and

  Speaker 2: That's why I'm so adamant about it, because I've gotten

  Speaker 2: myself in some circumstances and positions in my life. Well,

  Speaker 2: I've been, I've been. I've had some low moments. Man,

  Speaker 2: I've had some moments where I did not know what

  Speaker 2: to do. I didn't know what was next, I didn't

  Speaker 2: know how to go about it. I didn't have no

  Speaker 2: more ideas. I was stuck. I thought a couple of times, well,

  Speaker 2: might not make it past this one. But then if

  Speaker 2: I don't make it past it, what's gonna happen? And

  Speaker 2: then I held on to this little thing that my
• 1:41
  Speaker 2: mother kept talking to me about. She said, sometimes some

  Speaker 2: when you ain't got nothing else in you, just hope,
• 1:48
  Speaker 2: she said, just hope it'll be all right, you know.

  Speaker 2: And what I've learned in my life is that hope
• 1:55
  Speaker 2: is the beginning of faith. Hope is just is there
• 1:59
  Speaker 2: possibility out there for me? I show hope, something happened. See,

  Speaker 2: hope is okay, man, Because like I say, for me,
• 2:12
  Speaker 2: the way I've lived my life, hope was the beginning
• 2:14
  Speaker 2: of faith.

  Speaker 3: It was just the idea.

  Speaker 2: It's just the thought that something could change for me,

  Speaker 2: that something could be a little bit different from me,

  Speaker 2: that maybe, man, just maybe for some reason, I could

  Speaker 2: be saved, I could be rescued, things could turn around,

  Speaker 2: it could hit any other direction.

  Speaker 3: Maybe I could quit messing up.

  Speaker 2: Maybe somebody will forgive me, maybe somebody will just say

  Speaker 2: all right. I don't know, but I can't count the

  Speaker 2: times I've been in that position. But then once I

  Speaker 2: hope a little bit, and then I remember also my

  Speaker 2: mother because she was a Sunday school teacher. She taught

  Speaker 2: me the most a lesson I've ever learned in my life.

  Speaker 2: Nothing has been greater in my life than my faith.

  Speaker 2: She taught me to pray. Mama used to.

  Speaker 3: Say, when it get real, dog for your son, prayer

  Speaker 3: changes things. She said.

  Speaker 2: When you seem like you lost and you can't find

  Speaker 2: your way, stop and pray, she said, because prayer change

  Speaker 2: is things. You know, when you get a point in

  Speaker 2: your life when you've done all you can do and

  Speaker 2: you can't do no more, and you just don't know

  Speaker 2: what to do next, she said, stop, son, pray and

  Speaker 2: combine that prayer with that hope that you got, she said,

  Speaker 2: because that hope is the beginning of faith, she said.

  Speaker 2: If you pray just hoping, she said, to God come
• 3:49
  Speaker 2: through for you. That'll give you confidence that he can
• 3:52
  Speaker 2: do it again. And then after a while, you quit hoping,
• 3:57
  Speaker 2: she saying, you start believing, she said, And that's when
• 4:00
  Speaker 2: you're on to something. If you can turn that hope
• 4:04
  Speaker 2: into belief, that hope into faith. That's the ability to
• 4:15
  Speaker 2: believe in something that you can't see. But the key
• 4:18
  Speaker 2: though the faith, is you're believing in something that you
• 4:22
  Speaker 2: can't see. See hoping a little bit different from me. Now,
• 4:26
  Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure. Like I say oftentimes to tell a
• 4:28
  Speaker 2: lot of people who can explain this thing a lot
• 4:30
  Speaker 2: better than I can to you, hope is just kind
• 4:33
  Speaker 2: of I don't know how to I don't know how

  Speaker 2: to say it. But I'm just telling you.

  Speaker 3: Hope is.

  Speaker 2: You're just hoping it work right. You just have a

  Speaker 2: thought in your mind that you know, Man, whoever you are,

  Speaker 2: or whoever you are, whatever you are to me God,

  Speaker 2: I show hope something change.

  Speaker 3: Hope helps. Man. If you ain't strong enough to have faith, have.

  Speaker 2: Hope, hope, and then if you pray with some hope

  Speaker 2: and God answers your prayer, then that hope gains a

  Speaker 2: little confidence, and after a while that confidence becomes faith.

  Speaker 2: Now I ain't just hoping, but I'm believing. I'm believing

  Speaker 2: in something that I cannot see. Faith has been the
• 5:25
  Speaker 2: key to my entire existence, even when I didn't have
• 5:30
  Speaker 2: any It was faith, as I look back on it,

  Speaker 2: that has gotten me here, and not just faith, but
• 5:41
  Speaker 2: my faith. See, you will only get to where you're
• 5:46
  Speaker 2: going in your life based on your faith. See a

  Speaker 2: lot of people get the word faith confused, like what's
• 5:56
  Speaker 2: your faith? And then they start going down this whole
• 5:59
  Speaker 2: list of all these different religions out here.

  Speaker 3: But really an essence, man, when I talk.

  Speaker 2: To people about faith, I'm talking to you about your

  Speaker 2: your belief. How much do you believe in the unseen?

  Speaker 2: Faith is the core of all that is happening to

  Speaker 2: me today. It is the faith that I have in
• 6:25
  Speaker 2: my relationship with God that enables me to just oftentimes
• 6:32
  Speaker 2: if I stay on the right course and believe a

  Speaker 2: certain way and act a certain way, his blessings just poor.

  Speaker 3: They just come. And it comes in a lot of
• 6:44
  Speaker 3: little ways too.

  Speaker 2: I've started to notice, See it ain't just a lot

  Speaker 2: of people think blessings is money. Nah, man, that ain't it.

  Speaker 2: It's coverage. It's every time my plane lands safe. It's

  Speaker 2: every time they predict bad weather and I get up
• 7:00
  Speaker 2: in the sky and it don't be no bad weather.

  Speaker 2: You know, this is this is favor. These are blessings

  Speaker 2: that get poured out to me. Somebody call me and

  Speaker 2: offer me something, not money, but an opportunity. See, blessings

  Speaker 2: come a lot of ways. But once you tie in

  Speaker 2: to God, once you tie in and you start doing

  Speaker 2: the best you can do, and you start asking for

  Speaker 2: him to make you a better person, to help shape

  Speaker 2: and mold you into the kind of man or person

  Speaker 2: that he wants you to be. You be amazed what

  Speaker 2: God can do with you, man, if you just invite

  Speaker 2: me in and allow him to be a part of

  Speaker 2: your life. I mean, what you got to lose out there?

  Speaker 2: Why would you not change? Why would you not allow

  Speaker 2: God to be a part of your life. God got

  Speaker 2: some big plans for you. If he didn't, you wouldn't
