- 0:03Speaker 1: Heymen, Amen, God bless you, family, Welcome back, Welcome back,
- 0:07Speaker 1: welcome back. You already know it's Friday, so we get
- 0:10Speaker 1: into authentic imitationology status. This is episode number one hundred
- 0:15Speaker 1: and seven. Can you believe it? One hundred and seven times?
- 0:18Speaker 1: Getting together on a Friday represent for the Lord Jesus Christ,
- 0:22Speaker 1: trying to imitate the most successful person who has ever
- 0:27Speaker 1: lived on this whole entire planet, the Lord Jesus Christ,
- 0:30Speaker 1: the sinless Man, the god Man, the only begotten son
- 0:34Speaker 1: of God, the Savior, the Lord, the King of Kings,
- 0:38Speaker 1: wonderful counselor of the Prince of Peace. Amen, God says,
- 0:42Speaker 1: imitate Him. Apostle Paul said, follow me as I follow Christ. Right,
- 0:48Speaker 1: imitate Christ. Imitate God. Amen, as we move forward in
- 0:52Speaker 1: our victorious life in Him. Since the Joanne, I see you,
- 0:54Speaker 1: Good morning, God bless you. Welcome back to the morning. Devo,
- 0:57Speaker 1: my sister, my friend. As we switch gears on Friday's
- 0:59Speaker 1: year already know authentic imitationlogy. Today, the question is what
- 1:04Speaker 1: is repentance? What is repentance? Amen? I know we hear
- 1:10Speaker 1: that word a lot as believers, especially to some as Christianese. Amen.
- 1:15Speaker 1: But when someone hears the word repentance. If it's not
- 1:18Speaker 1: really described or it's not really defined, people will take
- 1:22Speaker 1: that word and think it's so many other things than
- 1:24Speaker 1: what it really is. What is repentance. Some people might say, well,
- 1:28Speaker 1: let me just saying sorry for what you did, right.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Some people might say, well, you just go to God
- 1:34Speaker 1: and ask them for forgiveness, and that's repentance. Well, we're
- 1:37Speaker 1: going to find out what is repentance according to the
- 1:40Speaker 1: Word of God. We're going to be an action. Chapter nineteen,
- 1:43Speaker 1: verse number four. Amen. And that's the question what is repentance?
- 1:47Speaker 1: Because I'm seeing a lot of things going on in
- 1:50Speaker 1: social media, a lot of things going on in ministries
- 1:54Speaker 1: around the country, and people just think that saying sorry
- 1:58Speaker 1: is good enough. Amen. But repentance is a turning, a
- 2:01Speaker 1: turning away from and a turning to. Amen. And we'll
- 2:05Speaker 1: get to that in a minute. So if you have
- 2:07Speaker 1: any questions, comments, concerns, prayer requests, or anything along those lines,
- 2:12Speaker 1: please don't hesitate to leave it on a live chat.
- 2:14Speaker 1: That's what we're here for, whether you're listening or watching. Amen.
- 2:18Speaker 1: If you're listening at Soul Winners with a Zia ORRG
- 2:20Speaker 1: to celebrate a network. Welcome back, Amen, or if this
- 2:23Speaker 1: is your first time, let me personally welcome you to
- 2:27Speaker 1: the Family of God. Amen. And the thing is, you
- 2:30Speaker 1: don't have to be a born again believer to tune
- 2:32Speaker 1: in to watch to comment. Amen. If you're looking for
- 2:36Speaker 1: truth or if you're seeking truth, you're going to find
- 2:38Speaker 1: the Lord Jesus eventually, right, because he is the way,
- 2:41Speaker 1: the truth, and the life. Amen. So let's go for it.
- 2:46Speaker 1: What is repentance? Today? On Authentic Invitationalogy, part of the
- 2:49Speaker 1: Morning Devo series on Fridays. We just turned the corner
- 2:52Speaker 1: and we're like, listen, let's try to imitate God. Good morning,
- 2:55Speaker 1: Sister Joice, I see you. Amen. Sister Joyce sends blessings
- 2:59Speaker 1: to the group. Amen. And I'm so glad you're here
- 3:02Speaker 1: with us, my sister and my friend. So let's go
- 3:04Speaker 1: for it. We'll pray first. After we pray, we'll share
- 3:07Speaker 1: this out for like sixty seconds, Amen, and then when
- 3:10Speaker 1: we come back on the other side of those sixty seconds,
- 3:13Speaker 1: we'll get right into the question what is repentance? Amen?
- 3:18Speaker 1: Very important to know a man and to see in
- 3:20Speaker 1: the scriptures of what this is all about. So Father,
- 3:23Speaker 1: I thank you so much. You're an amazing God. You're
- 3:26Speaker 1: a forgiving God. You're a miraculous God. Thank you for
- 3:28Speaker 1: your miraculous ways. Thank you that your ways are not
- 3:32Speaker 1: like our ways, and your thoughts are not like our thoughts.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Otherwise we will be the same, and we're not the same.
- 3:38Speaker 1: You are high and lifted up, and you are exalted
- 3:41Speaker 1: above all, and your name is above every other name,
- 3:44Speaker 1: and you are sovereign in control of all things. And
- 3:47Speaker 1: that you are all powerful, omnipresent, almighty, all knowing, and
- 3:51Speaker 1: you are a wonderful counselor. You are the Prince of peace,
- 3:55Speaker 1: and you are the author and perfect of our faith.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Thank you for sending your Holy Spirit to live inside
- 4:03Speaker 1: of us, to live a victorious life and an abundant
- 4:07Speaker 1: life according to your promised Lord. I pray, Lord God,
- 4:10Speaker 1: I had your protection, that you would guide, guard and
- 4:12Speaker 1: protect us all by the authority of your word, by
- 4:17Speaker 1: authority of your Holy Spirit, and that you would dispatch
- 4:21Speaker 1: arkwen angels right now to annihilate the tactics of the
- 4:24Speaker 1: enemy over our minds, over our hearts, over our households,
- 4:29Speaker 1: over our families, physically, emotionally and spiritually. I pray that
- 4:34Speaker 1: for myself my wife, our children, our grandchildren, and for
- 4:37Speaker 1: every single person that's listening representing their family or watching
- 4:40Speaker 1: representing their families as well. I pray that by the
- 4:43Speaker 1: power and authority of the name of yes Yeshiwahamashiek, the
- 4:47Speaker 1: God of all Gods, the Lord of all Lord, is
- 4:50Speaker 1: the King of all kings. In Jesus Holy name, we
- 4:53Speaker 1: prayed this by faith. Help us to understand that repentance
- 4:58Speaker 1: is what you call for, Repentance is what you preached,
- 5:02Speaker 1: and repentance is still available to every single person who
- 5:06Speaker 1: needs to repent for their wrongdoings, their sins and their
- 5:10Speaker 1: past and the sins right now currently. And repentance is
- 5:14Speaker 1: a beautiful thing when we repent the right way, and
- 5:16Speaker 1: Jesus saying my pray it is by faith, and those
- 5:19Speaker 1: who agree, we say amen to the Amen. Let's go
- 5:21Speaker 1: for it. Help me share this out sixty seconds. When
- 5:24Speaker 1: we come back, we'll get right into it. What is repentance?
- 5:27Speaker 1: Think about it? I've read back, Amen, Amen, Sorry about
- 7:11Speaker 1: that got caught up. I think I shared to one
- 7:14Speaker 1: group that I wasn't supposed to share on Amen that
- 7:18Speaker 1: I totally respect the group, So I don't want to
- 7:21Speaker 1: I want to make sure I didn't share it there.
- 7:24Speaker 1: I want to cause any kind of confusion, especially this topic,
- 7:28Speaker 1: because some people when you share it to their groups,
- 7:30Speaker 1: they really think that you're talking directly about them or
- 7:33Speaker 1: to them, and that's not the case. Amen. We're talking
- 7:37Speaker 1: through the scriptures and the word of God, the Word
- 7:42Speaker 1: of God. Amen. And let me to make sure I
- 7:45Speaker 1: fixed that right away before I get a text and
- 7:49Speaker 1: be like, hey, you share this on our group and
- 7:54Speaker 1: that's not That is not what I mean to do.
- 8:00Speaker 1: And we'll probably have to get to that later. So
- 8:04Speaker 1: Sister Juanne, let me see. Let me see what Sisteren says.
- 8:08Speaker 1: I ask you brothers and sisters to pray for my
- 8:10Speaker 1: sister Melody. She goes for surgery this morning, and everybody
- 8:16Speaker 1: put their hands over her and everything goes Okay. That's
- 8:20Speaker 1: not the only surgery she has to have. This is
- 8:22Speaker 1: about three or four more surgeries. There is about three
- 8:25Speaker 1: or four more surgeries she has to have. And I
- 8:27Speaker 1: know all the order is good with her. May God
- 8:31Speaker 1: be with her and God bless her. Amen. I agree
- 8:34Speaker 1: with you, Amen, and with trusting God. He you know
- 8:37Speaker 1: what God has the final say in all things. And
- 8:41Speaker 1: when we trust in him. Amen. Things happen sometimes not
- 8:48Speaker 1: the way we think that they're going to happen. But
- 8:50Speaker 1: God moves according to His will and purpose for our lives. Amen,
- 8:55Speaker 1: will and purpose for our lives. And now I can't
- 8:58Speaker 1: find when I'm looking for my apologies. Let me see
- 9:02Speaker 1: if I could get this from here. Amen. I just
- 9:05Speaker 1: don't want to cause confusion. Amen. So that's why I'm
- 9:13Speaker 1: taking a little bit more time here to make sure
- 9:18Speaker 1: all right fixed this. Yeah, I don't find outn't find it.
- 9:27Speaker 1: That means guys saying, listen, don't worry about it. Heymen,
- 9:30Speaker 1: I'll get to that later. Let's get into the scripture, Amen,
- 9:34Speaker 1: the Scripture Acts, chapter number let's say, nineteen, verse number four.
- 9:41Speaker 1: That's where we're gonna that's the starting point. Ask some
- 9:44Speaker 1: other scriptures to really get this point across to where
- 9:48Speaker 1: we're going today. Amen. This question came to my heart
- 9:52Speaker 1: last night when I was going through some composts, and
- 9:56Speaker 1: something that happened in the Gospel rap Ministry Amen had
- 10:00Speaker 1: me thinking about my Amen, and I said, well, do
- 10:05Speaker 1: people know about repentance? Because when I'm reading in the comments,
- 10:09Speaker 1: it doesn't seem like people know we're repenting. Means a
- 10:12Speaker 1: lot of people want things just to go away, want
- 10:15Speaker 1: people to go away, and just to leave things alone
- 10:18Speaker 1: when people are caught up in sin. And then when
- 10:22Speaker 1: you bring a rebuke in love, when you approach people
- 10:25Speaker 1: in love, they said, I said I'm sorry, and they
- 10:28Speaker 1: think that's enough. Amen, And I think God wants us
- 10:31Speaker 1: to go hide that and deeper than that. Amen. It's
- 10:35Speaker 1: more than just saying you're sorry. Right, It's more than that.
- 10:40Speaker 1: So let's go for it. Let's see what it means. Amen.
- 10:42Speaker 1: According to the scriptures, what is repentance today? On authentic Imitationalogy,
- 10:49Speaker 1: Acts Chapter nineteen, verse number four. Here's an example here
- 10:52Speaker 1: Acts nineteen four. Paul said John performed a baptism of repentance,
- 11:00Speaker 1: continually telling the people to believe in him who was
- 11:04Speaker 1: coming after him. That is, to confidently accept and joyfully
- 11:10Speaker 1: believe in Jesus, the Messiah and Savior. See that. So
- 11:18Speaker 1: the act of repentance is we're believing in the One
- 11:23Speaker 1: Jesus to Christ, to accept and joyfully believe in Jesus.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Part of repenting is turning away from your old ways
- 11:34Speaker 1: and your old beliefs and turning to the new way
- 11:36Speaker 1: of life through the one who gives you salvation, the
- 11:40Speaker 1: Lord Jesus Christ. People think just by saying sorry to
- 11:44Speaker 1: God is enough without going to the Lord that can
- 11:47Speaker 1: forgive you for your sin, that can transform you, that
- 11:49Speaker 1: can renew you, restore you, redeem you, and he will
- 11:53Speaker 1: receive your repentance and then he'll help you fix things up.
- 11:56Speaker 1: But the Frank, good morning, God, bless you and all
- 11:58Speaker 1: the brothers and sisters. Frank sends a blessing to the
- 12:01Speaker 1: group as well, Thank you so much for coming through,
- 12:03Speaker 1: my bro. It's good to see you here. So that's
- 12:07Speaker 1: one example here. I have a couple of more amen
- 12:11Speaker 1: to try to really help myself understand this as well,
- 12:16Speaker 1: because we all need refreshers all the time when it
- 12:18Speaker 1: comes to the Word of God. Right, So repentance, when
- 12:24Speaker 1: you take it to the context of the New Covenant,
- 12:26Speaker 1: the New Testament, we're New Covenant believers, right, refers to
- 12:31Speaker 1: a change of mind. We're changing our mind and said, man,
- 12:34Speaker 1: we've been going this way for so long that we
- 12:37Speaker 1: need to stop what we're doing right now and turn
- 12:41Speaker 1: to the Righteous One. So stop the unholiness and go
- 12:45Speaker 1: to the Holy One, Amen, the Lord Jesus. So it's
- 12:48Speaker 1: almost like stop what you're doing before you ruin yourself,
- 12:54Speaker 1: and turn from what you're doing and turn to the
- 12:57Speaker 1: righteous one to change your especially regarding belief in Jesus Christ.
- 13:03Speaker 1: If you don't believe in the Savior, you're unrepented. You're
- 13:07Speaker 1: walking around in life not repenting. You could say I'm
- 13:11Speaker 1: sorry God and not believe in God. Right, that can happen.
- 13:16Speaker 1: You could say I'm sorry to a person that you
- 13:18Speaker 1: offended or that you sinned against you and continue to
- 13:21Speaker 1: move on like nothing ever happened. But you never truly repented.
- 13:24Speaker 1: You never changed your mind regarding your belief in Jesus.
- 13:30Speaker 1: So it involves turning away, turning away from unbelief, and
- 13:36Speaker 1: turning towards faith in Jesus as your Lord and as
- 13:40Speaker 1: your savior. Self. Repentance truly is salvation. Amen. When you're saved,
- 13:46Speaker 1: you're continually knowing that God is saving you continuously and
- 13:51Speaker 1: that you are being brought up and you're understanding more.
- 13:55Speaker 1: You're more faithful to what the Lord is doing in
- 13:57Speaker 1: your life. You're reading his word. His word and if
- 14:01Speaker 1: you do fall short, because the Bible says we all
- 14:03Speaker 1: fall short, are the glorious standards of God. We know that.
- 14:08Speaker 1: But when we mess up, we ask God to forgive
- 14:11Speaker 1: us for the mess up, and we stop and we
- 14:15Speaker 1: turn from that mess up and turn to him. When
- 14:17Speaker 1: he touches us, he'll heal us, and he really tells
- 14:20Speaker 1: us don't do it again. Basically, when God is forgiving
- 14:24Speaker 1: you and forgiving me, he's telling us, don't do that again,
- 14:27Speaker 1: and he'll give you the power not to do that.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Whatever that is. Again, you sin against someone else, Yes,
- 14:34Speaker 1: ask for forgiveness. That's part of the deal. Then whether
- 14:38Speaker 1: or not they forgive you or not, then you're already
- 14:40Speaker 1: major your peace. Turn to the peace maker, turn to
- 14:44Speaker 1: the Prince of peace and ask Jesus to forgive you
- 14:47Speaker 1: and to help you out of those situations. So turning
- 14:51Speaker 1: away from unbelief and turning towards belief in Jesus as
- 14:57Speaker 1: savior right type of repentance that's necessary for salvation. That's
- 15:05Speaker 1: how powerful. I never saw a person get saved without
- 15:08Speaker 1: repenting first, What about you? I never saw a person
- 15:13Speaker 1: get saved without admitting, believing and confessing in the Lord
- 15:17Speaker 1: Jesus Christ. Admitting that they are sinners and that needs
- 15:20Speaker 1: to be forgiven for this sin. Believing that Jesus is Messiah,
- 15:24Speaker 1: that he rose again on the third Day, believing that they,
- 15:28Speaker 1: or me or you can be saved by the Messiah,
- 15:31Speaker 1: and that I will be forgiven, We will be forgiven,
- 15:34Speaker 1: and then we're going to confess Jesus Christ as our
- 15:36Speaker 1: personal Lord and savior. I think that's true repentance before salvation.
- 15:42Speaker 1: There is repentance before salvation. I never saw somebody that
- 15:45Speaker 1: wasn't repented before salvation. Paul speaks of repentance towards God
- 15:54Speaker 1: and faith in Jesus Christ. And in John chapter three,
- 15:57Speaker 1: verses sixteen. John three sixteen right for God so loved
- 16:01Speaker 1: the world that he sent his only begotten son, the
- 16:04Speaker 1: Lord Jesus, that whoever believes in him should not perish,
- 16:08Speaker 1: but have what eternal life, everlasting life. Amen. That was
- 16:13Speaker 1: the message of the gospel. It emphasizes belief in Jesus
- 16:18Speaker 1: for eternal life. And of course you reverse novel seventeen
- 16:23Speaker 1: right after that you'll get more on this. So repentance
- 16:26Speaker 1: is not about repeatedly asking people to forgive you for
- 16:32Speaker 1: each and every sin. Can you imagine spending your day? Oh, God,
- 16:36Speaker 1: forgive me for this, God, forgive me for that thought.
- 16:38Speaker 1: God forg I mean you can, but you might be
- 16:41Speaker 1: in for a long day. Why not try this by
- 16:45Speaker 1: the power Holy Spirit living inside of us? Why not
- 16:48Speaker 1: trust that when we ask for forgiveness from God, Amen,
- 16:52Speaker 1: that he forgives us. And then when those things try
- 16:55Speaker 1: to come back into your life, he said, no, I'm
- 16:57Speaker 1: already forgive me. I'm already repenting for that. I'm a
- 17:00Speaker 1: repented man of a repented woman of God, Man of God. Amen.
- 17:04Speaker 1: So I don't have to deal with that, right, I mean,
- 17:07Speaker 1: you already dealt with it. You repent it, you turn
- 17:10Speaker 1: from your wickedness, and you turn towards the righteousness of God. Amen.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Turning towards the righteousness of God. Fabulous, Foe, God blessed.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Welcome to the morning devo over there on twitch Amen.
- 17:26Speaker 1: So it's not about repeatedly asking for forgiveness for each sin,
- 17:29Speaker 1: as believers are already forgiven through the finished work of Christ.
- 17:33Speaker 1: And I've been telling my brothers and sisters when we
- 17:35Speaker 1: talk over the phone. Listen, this is we're benefiting off
- 17:39Speaker 1: the finished work of the Lord, not the undone work,
- 17:41Speaker 1: not the unfinished. You're not half saved, you're not half forgiven, Amen,
- 17:46Speaker 1: You're completely forgiven. You're completely saved, you are born again, Amen,
- 17:51Speaker 1: because of the finished work, the finished work of Jesus Christ.
- 17:56Speaker 1: So repentance it's not about asking for forgivenes for each
- 18:00Speaker 1: sin over and over again, as believers are already forgiven
- 18:04Speaker 1: through the finished work of Christ. Ephesians. I'm gona cite
- 18:07Speaker 1: some scriptures Ephesians chapter one, verse number seven, Ephesians one
- 18:12Speaker 1: and seven, and Collajans one and fourteen. So instead of
- 18:19Speaker 1: thinking about repentance that way, think about it like this.
- 18:22Speaker 1: It's about aligning our thoughts with God's truth and living
- 18:28Speaker 1: out our new our identity in Christ. You got to
- 18:31Speaker 1: hear this word over and over again from me, Amen,
- 18:35Speaker 1: because I think there's an issue with people's identity. People
- 18:38Speaker 1: think salvation is a religion. People think Jesus is a religion.
- 18:42Speaker 1: People think that going to church is enough. People think
- 18:45Speaker 1: that saying sorry is enough when the scripture has something
- 18:48Speaker 1: beautiful to say more about repentance, but more about forgiveness
- 18:53Speaker 1: is a complete work. And I think what's happening is
- 18:57Speaker 1: people say, well, I did ask God for forgivenes, and
- 19:00Speaker 1: look at me. Now I'm doing the same thing over
- 19:01Speaker 1: and over again. Because you're not tapped into the power
- 19:05Speaker 1: of the Holy Spirit God living in you, or you're
- 19:07Speaker 1: probably not saved. I mean, I know that sounds tough,
- 19:12Speaker 1: but think about it. If you're born again, you have
- 19:14Speaker 1: Holy Spirit, there should be some conviction every time you
- 19:17Speaker 1: do something wrong. If there's no conviction and you're so
- 19:20Speaker 1: comfortable with your sin, you might want to check to
- 19:23Speaker 1: see if you're still in the faith. The scripture says that,
- 19:26Speaker 1: just check to see if you're still in the faith. Amen,
- 19:29Speaker 1: why are you not feeling the conviction of the Holy Spirit?
- 19:32Speaker 1: Do you even have Holy Spirit living inside of you?
- 19:35Speaker 1: Or I said a praying when I was nine years old,
- 19:37Speaker 1: I repeated after the preacher, and now I'm saved. Well,
- 19:42Speaker 1: that could be Amen, the start of your relationship with
- 19:45Speaker 1: the Lord. But are you truly living a repented life?
- 19:49Speaker 1: Are you truly? This is where the Catholics, I think,
- 19:51Speaker 1: get it all right. You know, a life of repentance.
- 19:55Speaker 1: They always saying repentance, repent, repent. I think they get
- 19:58Speaker 1: it right. A little extreme opinion, but I think they
- 20:01Speaker 1: get that point right. But the Robbie Newborn, Robert, God
- 20:05Speaker 1: bless you, bro Good morning, blessings to you as well,
- 20:08Speaker 1: my friend and my brother. So align your thoughts with
- 20:14Speaker 1: God's your thoughts with God's truth, living out your new
- 20:17Speaker 1: identity of Christ. After salvation. Listen to this. After salvation,
- 20:22Speaker 1: believers are called to be transformed by the renewing of
- 20:26Speaker 1: their minds. Is it changing of your mind? Amen? Not
- 20:31Speaker 1: brainwashed like people call Christians. All you guys are bring
- 20:35Speaker 1: washed into that cult, into that religion. Yeah, we're washed
- 20:38Speaker 1: by the blood of Jesus, that's for sure. We're not brainwashed,
- 20:41Speaker 1: but not forced. I wasn't forced. You were forced to
- 20:45Speaker 1: believe in Jesus. Yeah, we were forced to believe in
- 20:50Speaker 1: the Lord. God didn't come down and give us the SmackDown.
- 20:53Speaker 1: You better bow your need to me or else. That's
- 20:56Speaker 1: not the guy that I serve. I don't know about you. Amen.
- 20:59Speaker 1: He offered an invitation, and thank you Jesus that I
- 21:02Speaker 1: took that invitation. Thank you Lord for your grace over
- 21:05Speaker 1: my life. Because I was unrepented, I was in unbelief.
- 21:10Speaker 1: I didn't believe in God. Amen. I didn't think he
- 21:13Speaker 1: was real in my life. I thought he was for
- 21:15Speaker 1: every single person in the church, but not for me
- 21:18Speaker 1: outside of the church. And he proved himself amazingly to me, Amen,
- 21:23Speaker 1: Amen proved himself Amen, amazingly in my life. And I
- 21:29Speaker 1: know a lot of people out here can testify too
- 21:31Speaker 1: of how good God is. So after salvation, believers are
- 21:35Speaker 1: called to be transformed by the renewing of their minds,
- 21:38Speaker 1: which includes turning away from sinful behaviors literally sexual morality. Men, Run, run, literally,
- 21:48Speaker 1: I had to do that in my life. Run, get
- 21:52Speaker 1: out of that situation, don't entertain it, don't hang out. Run.
- 21:58Speaker 1: I know the people gonna think you're crazy, but you're
- 22:01Speaker 1: out of it. Amen. And now you're like, man, that
- 22:05Speaker 1: was close. I've ran out of that situation. Now I
- 22:09Speaker 1: could turn to God and ask him for wisdom of
- 22:13Speaker 1: how I can't how I I'm not going to get
- 22:16Speaker 1: back into that proximity, that closeness of sin again. So
- 22:21Speaker 1: after salvation we're gonna turn renew and turn away from
- 22:27Speaker 1: sinful behaviors and embrace righteousness. So some might be like, oh,
- 22:34Speaker 1: that's legalistic. You mean to tell me that you can't
- 22:36Speaker 1: do this again. You can do all things through Christ
- 22:39Speaker 1: Jesus what gives you the strength to get it done?
- 22:42Speaker 1: And the Bible says that as believers, even we could
- 22:44Speaker 1: do anything we want to do, but not everything's going
- 22:47Speaker 1: to be beneficial. I know you heard me saying this
- 22:49Speaker 1: over and over again. It's just because I think I
- 22:52Speaker 1: need to repeat myself over and over again. The Word
- 22:55Speaker 1: has to repeat it over and over again until we
- 22:58Speaker 1: get it. Because on the social media streets, forget it.
- 23:02Speaker 1: People quote scriptures out of context. They say things that
- 23:06Speaker 1: don't even make sense. When you challenge them to find
- 23:09Speaker 1: scriptures on something, people come back with no scripture, but
- 23:12Speaker 1: with opinion, and I'll be like, nah, that's not it.
- 23:15Speaker 1: The world is watching when something happens in the Kingdom
- 23:18Speaker 1: of God, the world is watching, and they're saying, let's
- 23:21Speaker 1: see how they got to respond to each other. You
- 23:23Speaker 1: know what I mean. A gospel rapper, I'll leave nameless.
- 23:27Speaker 1: A man went on the video the other day and said, unfortunately,
- 23:32Speaker 1: the gospel rap industry, we're not known for unity. We're
- 23:35Speaker 1: known for disunity. But when opportunities of unity pop up,
- 23:40Speaker 1: a man, let's try our best to be unified so
- 23:43Speaker 1: that the world could see how we're so unified with
- 23:45Speaker 1: the Word of God, with the principiece wonderful counselor Almighty God,
- 23:50Speaker 1: his Word, his Holy Spirit, one faith, one Lord, one
- 23:54Speaker 1: baptism right one salvation when we come together, the world
- 23:58Speaker 1: is like, Okay, they're really serving a God of love,
- 24:02Speaker 1: They're really serving a God of truth and grace. After that,
- 24:06Speaker 1: if we're not doing that, man, we're doing disservice to
- 24:09Speaker 1: the body of Christ. And a lot of pastors don't
- 24:13Speaker 1: even think that's from the Lord anyway, so it makes
- 24:15Speaker 1: it worse. Right, Sorry, but I'm praying now for Juanne,
- 24:19Speaker 1: Sister Juanne. Amen, go for it, Go for it. Let's
- 24:23Speaker 1: pray for Sister Joanne. Of course her family. Amen. She's
- 24:26Speaker 1: been so faithful to this ministry it's unbelievable. Amen. And
- 24:30Speaker 1: I can pray, I pray continuously. Amen. Let's pray for
- 24:34Speaker 1: Dran Trail and his family. Yes, yes, let's keep on Brian.
- 24:38Speaker 1: A lot of people don't know who Brian is, but
- 24:41Speaker 1: he's a brother that impacted my life personally through his music,
- 24:46Speaker 1: and I know a lot of people could testify. We'll
- 24:48Speaker 1: pray for his family, pray for his marriage. The devil
- 24:52Speaker 1: just snuck up in there. Whatever happened, We're gonna pray,
- 24:57Speaker 1: and we're gonna ask for unity in the gospel hip
- 25:00Speaker 1: hop industry and as brothers and sisters in Christ of
- 25:04Speaker 1: his life. Listen if I if I'm acting moving different,
- 25:08Speaker 1: I expect people to come to me and love and
- 25:10Speaker 1: be like, listen, brother, you're doing something wrong. And if
- 25:14Speaker 1: it's something so deep like marital stuff and all that stuff,
- 25:18Speaker 1: please approach me now. Don't let me. Don't let me
- 25:20Speaker 1: go down that road by myself. Seems like there was
- 25:23Speaker 1: a moral failure in the in the ministry. If we
- 25:27Speaker 1: all feel the I think, but think about it like this.
- 25:30Speaker 1: I know I wasn't gonna comment, but I think about it.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Let me give you an example. I'll fill with Holy spirit,
- 25:36Speaker 1: you'll fill with holy spirit. We're traveling, right, Let's just
- 25:40Speaker 1: take brother Robbie. Me and Robbie are traveling and we're ministering,
- 25:45Speaker 1: and we're way for my wives. We're a way for
- 25:47Speaker 1: my family. And I say, Robbie, I'll be back, man,
- 25:51Speaker 1: I'm gonna just go over here for a little while.
- 25:53Speaker 1: And Robbie's like, where are you going. I'm just gonna go,
- 25:56Speaker 1: you know, meet somebody whatever. And then I don't come
- 25:59Speaker 1: back to the next day. I expect Robbie to look
- 26:02Speaker 1: at me and my face say, yo, where were you? Amen?
- 26:06Speaker 1: And if I come back to him like, Yo, mind
- 26:08Speaker 1: your business. I'm being ungodly and if I have a
- 26:12Speaker 1: clear conscience, I'll tell the brother. But Holy Spirit will
- 26:16Speaker 1: convict me and we'll give Robbie a word or something
- 26:21Speaker 1: is just not right. You'll sense it, especially when brothers
- 26:23Speaker 1: love each other. So I don't know how this whole
- 26:27Speaker 1: trail thing went on, Man, I don't know. All I
- 26:32Speaker 1: know is that God is faithful, He's good, Amen, and
- 26:35Speaker 1: he can restore and redeem and he could cause reconcilation
- 26:38Speaker 1: to happen. Amen to the Family of God. And that's
- 26:42Speaker 1: been out there snatching souls out of the kingdom of
- 26:45Speaker 1: darkness and bringing them to the marvelous One, the Lord Jesus.
- 26:49Speaker 1: So we'll leave it right there. Definitely, pray for families,
- 26:52Speaker 1: and pray for families all over that experience in this Amen,
- 26:56Speaker 1: in their own lives. Amen. And let's stop putting ministers
- 27:00Speaker 1: up on pedestals and then when they fall them we
- 27:02Speaker 1: beat them down. Now, that's not it. That's not it
- 27:05Speaker 1: at all. The world does that to us. Let's not
- 27:07Speaker 1: do that to one another. Amen. Thank you Robbie for
- 27:10Speaker 1: mentioning it. So this is an ongoing thing. Repentance is ongoing.
- 27:14Speaker 1: It's not about gaining more forgiveness. Imagine that forgive me more, Lord,
- 27:18Speaker 1: We're already forgiven. We're already forgiven. It's not like, forgive
- 27:22Speaker 1: me more, forgive me more, not we're already forgiven. If
- 27:25Speaker 1: we get that, I think we'll move differently. Amen, we
- 27:28Speaker 1: are already forgiven. Ongoing not about forgiveness, but experiencing the
- 27:35Speaker 1: fullness of life in Christ and expressing who we truly
- 27:40Speaker 1: are as new creations Tewod Corinthians, Pose seventeen. It is
- 27:44Speaker 1: a response to God's grace. Repenting is a response to
- 27:49Speaker 1: God's grace allowing us to live in the freedom and
- 27:54Speaker 1: joy of our salvation and work out your own salvation
- 27:58Speaker 1: with feeling trembling. There was a lot there. But repentance
- 28:02Speaker 1: is a mind change, a turning from and a turning to.
- 28:05Speaker 1: Amen to the Lord. So and believing in Jesus Christ
- 28:10Speaker 1: as savior and that we're saved, and it's a full,
- 28:13Speaker 1: complete work of forgiveness that God has offered us. And
- 28:16Speaker 1: we walk in that, we live in that, we're breathing that,
- 28:19Speaker 1: and we'll be on the right track. Amen. So I'm
- 28:22Speaker 1: out of time, asks Chapter number of nineteen, meet the
- 28:25Speaker 1: whole chapter for yourself. God bless you all. I hope
- 28:28Speaker 1: you have a great weekend. God bless you all. God
- 28:30Speaker 1: keep you all, and remember always that God is good. Peace,
