- 0:19Speaker 2: Please buckle up and hold on tightly. This station is
- 0:22Speaker 2: not responsible for injuries. This is Wayne Alan Root, direct
- 0:26Speaker 2: from the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas. What
- 0:29Speaker 2: time is it?
- 0:30Speaker 1: It's time war war.
- 0:34Speaker 3: Here's your host.
- 0:35Speaker 2: One hundred percent raw truth, one hundred percent American made
- 0:39Speaker 2: the warrior, Wayne Alan Roots.
- 0:55Speaker 4: All right way on the route.
- 0:57Speaker 1: The weekend's over. Oh my god, we're back to work.
- 1:00Speaker 1: It's Monday. Back to the slave trade. Wayne A.
- 1:02Speaker 5: Larude is your official Conservative Maga slave major breaking news.
- 1:08Speaker 5: Eric Swolwell resigns from Congress. Boy, you talk about ah
- 1:14Speaker 5: a falling knife, this guy is a falling Knife's gonna
- 1:18Speaker 5: stay up anyone who gets in the way. He was
- 1:20Speaker 5: getting ready to be the governor of California when all
- 1:24Speaker 5: these women came forward and said, you know, this guy
- 1:27Speaker 5: has been attacking us, assaulting us, I guess sexually assaulting
- 1:34Speaker 5: us and certainly having tons of affairs and certainly sexually
- 1:38Speaker 5: harassing us. And all these women came forward, and he's
- 1:44Speaker 5: out of the California governor's race this weekend.
- 1:47Speaker 1: That just happened.
- 1:49Speaker 5: And then today, moments ago, he resigns from Congress facing
- 1:54Speaker 5: a congressional investigation. I've never seen a guy fall this fast.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:59Speaker 5: He announced it will resign from Congress amid sexual assault allegations.
- 2:03Speaker 5: Apologized to his family and constituents. I'm deeply sorry to
- 2:08Speaker 5: my family, staff, constituents for mistakes in judgment I've made
- 2:11Speaker 5: in the past.
- 2:15Speaker 1: And he's out. He's gone, just like that.
- 2:17Speaker 5: Amazing, and lawmakers put expulsion threats a top the House
- 2:22Speaker 5: agenda as they return with a high stakes week. Swollwell, Gonzales, Cheerfullest, McCormick,
- 2:31Speaker 5: and Mills all faced potential removal from the United States House.
- 2:36Speaker 5: Other big news, the US initiates the blockade of Our Moves.
- 2:40Speaker 5: Trump warns any Iranian ships coming near will be eliminated.
- 2:45Speaker 5: And after just a few hours, it appears. I always
- 2:48Speaker 5: say appears, because you just don't know. Things change very
- 2:53Speaker 5: very quickly. But Iran appears to be panicking and capitulating
- 2:58Speaker 5: and wanting to come back to negoti shating table.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Trump squares they're bagging him.
- 3:03Speaker 5: Just within hours of blocking the strait, they're begging him
- 3:06Speaker 5: because he'll strangle.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Their whole economy.
- 3:08Speaker 5: He may have finally found their Achilles heel and then
- 3:12Speaker 5: separate from that empty gigantic shipping tankers are headed to
- 3:17Speaker 5: the US for oil and gas.
- 3:19Speaker 1: It appears that everybody in the.
- 3:20Speaker 5: World now has to buy their oil and gas from
- 3:23Speaker 5: the United States of America.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Big, big news.
- 3:25Speaker 5: Maybe that's what Trump attended from day one, but it's
- 3:28Speaker 5: really good news. Trump slams the Pope, says he's week
- 3:32Speaker 5: on crime and terrible for foreign policy. I'll get to
- 3:35Speaker 5: that in a little while. Utah Valley College Utah Valley University.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Does that name sound familiar.
- 3:42Speaker 5: That's the college where Charlie Kirk was assassinated, and it
- 3:46Speaker 5: faces a major backlash because they picked a lady named
- 3:48Speaker 5: Sharon McMahon or McMahon, I'm not sure who pronounce it,
- 3:53Speaker 5: looks like McMahon. And she wrote on She wrote on
- 3:57Speaker 5: X right after Charlie Kirk was assassinated, murdered. She said,
- 4:01Speaker 5: killing does not magically erase what was said or done.
- 4:05Speaker 5: In other words, he's a horrible person and just because
- 4:07Speaker 5: you killed him doesn't mean.
- 4:09Speaker 1: I have to say nice things about him. She's the
- 4:11Speaker 1: commencement speaker that they chose. She hates Charlie Kirk and
- 4:15Speaker 1: she thinks he's a racist, and.
- 4:16Speaker 5: They chose her for the commencement speech. Other big news,
- 4:20Speaker 5: Trump welcomes Doordasher to the Oval office to highlight no
- 4:24Speaker 5: tax on tips. She's a DoorDash driver and her husband
- 4:30Speaker 5: just found out he has cancer and she's made an
- 4:32Speaker 5: extra I think it was like eleven or fourteen thousand
- 4:35Speaker 5: dollars this year tax free, and it's a huge savings
- 4:40Speaker 5: that's very important to her.
- 4:41Speaker 1: And I mentioned it.
- 4:43Speaker 5: Only because Trump's coming to Las Vegas on Thursday, and
- 4:46Speaker 5: he is going to be highlighting no tax on tips
- 4:50Speaker 5: when he comes to Vegas. He's having a business roundtable,
- 4:53Speaker 5: I guess, with a bunch of service employees who have
- 4:56Speaker 5: made money and paid.
- 4:57Speaker 1: No taxes on their tips. And I will be there,
- 5:00Speaker 1: be there at his event. And now it's time for
- 5:03Speaker 1: my commentary that I wrote this morning, So we'll open
- 5:05Speaker 1: the show of my commentary.
- 5:06Speaker 5: It's titled if you thought the People's Communist Republic of
- 5:09Speaker 5: California is radical, weird, un American, try these crazy, shocking
- 5:14Speaker 5: stories from Colorado, Minnesota, and New York.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Folks.
- 5:18Speaker 5: As I keep saying, we need a great American national divorce.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Admit it, you know I'm right. It's just not working anymore.
- 5:25Speaker 5: I mean, America, we can't live with people this radical, reckless, dangerous,
- 5:30Speaker 5: and just playing crazy.
- 5:31Speaker 1: I'm referring to Democrats. Of course. They hate America. They
- 5:35Speaker 1: hate Republicans.
- 5:37Speaker 5: They hate normal people like fathers, mothers, families, churchgoers. They
- 5:41Speaker 5: hate anyone who has a chief success in wealth or
- 5:43Speaker 5: who owns a business.
- 5:45Speaker 1: They hate police and military. They hate white people.
- 5:48Speaker 5: And they reserve the most hate of all for American citizens,
- 5:52Speaker 5: anyone born in the USA. To Democrats, if you're an American,
- 5:56Speaker 5: a law abiding citizen.
- 5:58Speaker 1: And normal, you are the enemy.
- 6:01Speaker 5: Sorry, but there's no way to compromise with people this crazy.
- 6:05Speaker 5: We need a separation followed by an official divorce. Now
- 6:09Speaker 5: I'm talking about a divorce between the good Daddy, the
- 6:12Speaker 5: Red States of America, and the crazy liberal mommy wearing
- 6:16Speaker 5: the pink pussy hat.
- 6:18Speaker 1: The Blue States of America as bad as.
- 6:20Speaker 5: The People's Communist Republic of California is, and it's bad
- 6:24Speaker 5: New York, Colorado, and Minnesota prove this week they are
- 6:27Speaker 5: in fierce competition for the title of the worst, most radical,
- 6:31Speaker 5: most weird, most communist Unamerican state in America.
- 6:35Speaker 1: And the sad part is I haven't even mentioned Illinois.
- 6:40Speaker 5: Can you imagine if things you're doing are so bad
- 6:43Speaker 5: and weird and evil that Illinois doesn't.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Even merit to enter the conversation? Man? Are you spiraling
- 6:50Speaker 1: to the bottom? Here?
- 6:51Speaker 5: It just a few stories from this past week that
- 6:53Speaker 5: showcase the evil and insanity of the left.
- 6:57Speaker 1: We start with New York City.
- 6:58Speaker 5: Communist and radical Muslim mayor Zorn Mandami is proposing new
- 7:03Speaker 5: taxes on white neighborhoods to make sure white people, upon
- 7:07Speaker 5: death won't be able to pass their life savings and assets.
- 7:10Speaker 1: On to their children.
- 7:11Speaker 5: I kid you not if you're white and you've worked
- 7:14Speaker 5: your ass off your entire life.
- 7:16Speaker 1: And achieved even a small measure of success.
- 7:19Speaker 5: He's saying houses that cost seven or fifty thousand or
- 7:21Speaker 5: more in New York City, that's middle class, that may
- 7:23Speaker 5: be lower middle class. Mandami and his communist comrades want
- 7:27Speaker 5: what's yours. They believe your life's work and wealth belongs
- 7:30Speaker 5: to government, not your children, especially if they're white children.
- 7:35Speaker 1: By the way, this new tax violates the US Constitution.
- 7:39Speaker 5: No law or tax or government edict can ever be
- 7:42Speaker 5: based on race, but even that pales in comparison to
- 7:46Speaker 5: how New York is now treating its police officers. A
- 7:49Speaker 5: veteran police sergeant was sentenced last week. It's up to
- 7:52Speaker 5: nine years in prison because he killed a drug dealer
- 7:55Speaker 5: racing away from his crime. This brilliant, brave, and creative
- 7:58Speaker 5: police sergeant made a split second decision to protect innocent bystanders.
- 8:03Speaker 1: The drug dealer crashed his motorcycle and died.
- 8:06Speaker 5: The cop, a married father of three, is now going
- 8:09Speaker 5: to prison for up to nine years for manslaughter.
- 8:12Speaker 1: You know what happens to a cop in prison? This
- 8:15Speaker 1: hero is being sent to hell.
- 8:18Speaker 5: All NYPD officers need to retire or resign immediately. No
- 8:22Speaker 5: cop can do his job in New York anymore. If
- 8:25Speaker 5: I were a mayor, I'd have given this cop a medal,
- 8:28Speaker 5: a promotion, the key to the city, and a ticker tape.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Parade down Broadway. Then there's Minneapolis, Minnesota.
- 8:36Speaker 5: The land of a thousand Lakes is now the land
- 8:39Speaker 5: of gay Somali immigrants having public sex.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Isn't that a nice moniker? Nice brand? Gay bazar is laughing.
- 8:47Speaker 5: Gay bathhouses were banned thirty eight years ago because they
- 8:50Speaker 5: spread AIDS. Now thirty eight years later, Crazy Minnesota is
- 8:55Speaker 5: bringing back gay bath houses where gay men can legally
- 8:59Speaker 5: have sex in public.
- 9:00Speaker 1: But the really crazy part is they're.
- 9:03Speaker 5: Doing it just to appease gay Somali immigrants. Think of
- 9:07Speaker 5: what kind of mass disease pandemic this could lead to,
- 9:11Speaker 5: perhaps a perfect superbug of AIDS, monkey pocks, and syphilis
- 9:18Speaker 5: mixed with COVID.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Yuck. Finally, we come to perhaps the worst story of all.
- 9:24Speaker 5: We all know Colorado's bad, but I never imagined worse
- 9:27Speaker 5: than California bad. I believe the evil, vile, criminal communists
- 9:32Speaker 5: who run Colorado are rigging and stealing their elections. It's
- 9:36Speaker 5: just my opinion, but it's clear to me they figured
- 9:38Speaker 5: out how to steal elections with a combination of rigged
- 9:41Speaker 5: voting machines and illegal alien voting. Colorado election official Tina
- 9:46Speaker 5: Peters witnessed the rigged machines firsthand, so she saved the
- 9:51Speaker 5: proof for this. She was arrested, convicted, and sent to prison.
- 9:55Speaker 1: For nine years. It seems to be going around.
- 9:57Speaker 5: We send cops to prison for nine years for stopping
- 10:00Speaker 5: a drug dealer, and we send Tina Peters to prison
- 10:03Speaker 5: for proving a stolen election for a gold star mom
- 10:06Speaker 5: in her seventies while she has cancer, nine years in prison.
- 10:10Speaker 5: But that's not the worst story coming out of Colorado.
- 10:14Speaker 5: As of March thirtieth, meaning about two weeks ago, it's
- 10:17Speaker 5: now the law. Every attorney in Colorado must sign a
- 10:21Speaker 5: radical anti Ice pledge under penalty of perjury, which means
- 10:25Speaker 5: you go to prison if you break your signature that
- 10:29Speaker 5: they will never use or share any information from court
- 10:33Speaker 5: records to assist Ice. And this is an aim to
- 10:36Speaker 5: elite immigration attorneys. It applies to all lawyers in Colorado,
- 10:40Speaker 5: corporate lawyers, divorce lawyers, personal injury lawyers, estate planning lawyers,
- 10:44Speaker 5: all of them. If you want to practice law on Colorado,
- 10:48Speaker 5: you've got to agree, under penalty of perjury, that you
- 10:50Speaker 5: will break that you will break the law. Lawyers must
- 10:53Speaker 5: agree they will break the law, protect illegal Alian criminals,
- 10:56Speaker 5: aid to bet felons, and violate the US Constitution.
- 11:00Speaker 1: If not, kiss your legal career goodbye.
- 11:02Speaker 5: So Colorado is demanding all lawyers become criminals. Folks, All
- 11:06Speaker 5: these stories in the past we prove that democrats hate
- 11:09Speaker 5: cops and laws and the US Constitution and normal people
- 11:13Speaker 5: so much they're willing to send cops to prison, lawyers
- 11:15Speaker 5: to prison, gold star moms to prison, anything necessary to
- 11:19Speaker 5: protect illegal Alians, gaylegal Aalians, drug dealers, and rigged stolen elections.
- 11:24Speaker 5: New York, Minnesota, and Colorado are tried desperately to pass
- 11:28Speaker 5: California for the title of the worst, most radical, most weird,
- 11:31Speaker 5: most communists un American state in America. And that, my friends,
- 11:35Speaker 5: is why we need a great American national divorce. I
- 11:39Speaker 5: don't know about you, but I can't live with these
- 11:41Speaker 5: people anymore. We'll be right back, Wayne Larute. Root for
- 11:44Speaker 5: America dot com is war Zone Live.

- 15:07Speaker 1: All right, man, root the roots on fire.
- 15:10Speaker 5: Welcome back at a lot of great A lot of
- 15:12Speaker 5: great feedback about the opening commentary Wow. A lot of people,
- 15:16Speaker 5: especially people that note me enough that they've got my
- 15:19Speaker 5: cell phones, they text me a lot of comments, really
- 15:22Speaker 5: really good, really really impressive, and I thank all of you.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Here's one of them, unfreaking.
- 15:28Speaker 5: Believable commentary as usual, exclamation point, keep rolling like the
- 15:32Speaker 5: Patriots steamroller. You are you should be president? Well, I
- 15:36Speaker 5: am president. I'm president of Wayne Root Incorporated. You're wondering
- 15:40Speaker 5: why there's so much opposition to President Trump, And I
- 15:43Speaker 5: say this about Tucker Carlson and Candice Owens and Marjorie
- 15:47Speaker 5: Taylor Green and Megan Kelly and others too. Not just Democrats,
- 15:51Speaker 5: not just liberals, not just communists, not just the Eric
- 15:54Speaker 5: Swalwells of the world and the AOC's of the world,
- 15:58Speaker 5: and all the horrible people on the Democrats. But a
- 16:00Speaker 5: lot of people on our side now are critical of
- 16:02Speaker 5: the president. And I just think so many of them
- 16:04Speaker 5: have the same problem. Award winning former Washington Post journalist
- 16:09Speaker 5: pleads guilty to child pornography. There's a lot of people
- 16:13Speaker 5: out there that suddenly don't like President Trump, that are
- 16:15Speaker 5: doing some really sick, disgusting, vile things, and they don't
- 16:19Speaker 5: want to stop doing those disgusting vile things.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Did that ever occur to you? And maybe even the
- 16:24Speaker 1: people on our side that are criticizing Trump. Maybe I'm
- 16:27Speaker 1: not saying all of them.
- 16:27Speaker 5: Some of them may have a legitimate beef on certain issues.
- 16:30Speaker 5: Maybe they legitimately don't like Israel.
- 16:33Speaker 1: I don't know. Maybe they legitimately hate Jews. I don't know.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Maybe they legitimately have turned on Trump like a rabid dog.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Something's wrong with these people. I'm just telling you something's wrong.
- 16:44Speaker 5: You've done a lot of good and if there's one
- 16:45Speaker 5: or two things you disagree with, what did my hero
- 16:48Speaker 5: Ronald Reagan say? If I agree with you seventy percent
- 16:50Speaker 5: of time, you're my friend, not my enemy. But yet
- 16:53Speaker 5: people out there, including Alex Jones, they're turning into enemies
- 16:56Speaker 5: of the President of the United States. I don't understand that,
- 17:00Speaker 5: really don't. And another reason why they're against Trump. Congressman
- 17:05Speaker 5: timber Chet, Republican of Tennessee, did not mince words when
- 17:10Speaker 5: he pulled back the curtain of where some of American
- 17:12Speaker 5: tax dollars are going. He reveals the government is giving
- 17:16Speaker 5: forty million dollars a week to the Taliban, and Democrats
- 17:20Speaker 5: oppose ending it. We still give forty million a week.
- 17:24Speaker 5: Why don't we give forty million a week to homeless
- 17:26Speaker 5: vets who fought for our country and now they're on
- 17:29Speaker 5: the street, you know, mainlining drugs with no home in
- 17:33Speaker 5: the freezing cold and in Las Vegas in the burning
- 17:35Speaker 5: heat of summer. Maybe we should spend forty million a
- 17:38Speaker 5: week on them. Maybe we spend forty million a week
- 17:40Speaker 5: on senior citizens who are starving enough to eat cat.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Food because so security doesn't cover.
- 17:44Speaker 5: The bill, instead of forty million a week to the Taliban.
- 17:47Speaker 5: And Democrats oppose ending it. Why because they must be
- 17:50Speaker 5: getting a piece of it, don't you get it.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Everyone's getting a piece of the stolen money.
- 17:56Speaker 5: And for those of you who are criticizing Trump over inflation,
- 17:59Speaker 5: oh my god, gas prices are so high. Listen, I
- 18:02Speaker 5: commiserate with you. I'm paying the same gas price as you.
- 18:05Speaker 1: I'm paying the same grocery price as you.
- 18:07Speaker 5: But California makes more per gallon of gas in taxes
- 18:12Speaker 5: than oil companies do in profit on the same gallon,
- 18:15Speaker 5: More of your money is going to the taxes of
- 18:18Speaker 5: California than to the profit of Exxon Mobile. I mean, so,
- 18:22Speaker 5: what are you talking about when it comes to inflation.
- 18:25Speaker 5: You know what makes up the biggest part of inflation.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Taxes.
- 18:28Speaker 5: Okay, if grocery price were exactly where they were, and
- 18:31Speaker 5: gas price exactly where they were, and everything else is
- 18:35Speaker 5: and it's all high.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Arguably, it is all high. I get it.
- 18:38Speaker 5: It was high underd Biden because of Biden, and now
- 18:41Speaker 5: it stayed high under Trump. You can't get it down.
- 18:43Speaker 5: Now the war started and you have tariff, so it
- 18:46Speaker 5: hasn't gone down, but hasn't really gone up either.
- 18:48Speaker 1: It's just very high.
- 18:50Speaker 5: Life costs a lot because of Joe Biden, not because
- 18:53Speaker 5: of Donald Trump. But if everything was the same amount
- 18:57Speaker 5: and you got to keep half of the money, you
- 18:59Speaker 5: get to the government taxes. Forget about gas taxes. What
- 19:01Speaker 5: about income taxes? What about state income taxes to your state?
- 19:06Speaker 1: Right? What about property taxes? What about sales taxes? What
- 19:09Speaker 1: about inheritance taxes? Even when you're dad, they want to
- 19:12Speaker 1: f your money.
- 19:13Speaker 5: So if you got to keep your tax money, it
- 19:15Speaker 5: wouldn't even matter if the prices were high.
- 19:17Speaker 1: So the real problem is an inflation, it's taxes. It's
- 19:21Speaker 1: the government.
- 19:22Speaker 5: The government is the problem, all right. The key here

- 22:27Speaker 1: In New York. You expect New.
- 22:28Speaker 5: York nowadays, you expect Minnesota, but you never would have
- 22:31Speaker 5: believed this twenty years ago.
- 22:32Speaker 1: But who would expect Colorado to.
- 22:34Speaker 5: Be worse than California. And that's my opening commentary. We'll
- 22:37Speaker 5: come back with that to start our number two. Zechad

- 24:16Speaker 1: are you Wayne.
- 24:18Speaker 8: It's great to be back with you again.
- 24:19Speaker 1: Always great to have you.
- 24:21Speaker 5: So, your latest commentary in Substack is titled Trump on
- 24:24Speaker 5: the Brink question mark or Art of the Deal question mark?
- 24:28Speaker 5: Your thoughts on President Trump's ultimatum to Rand and the
- 24:31Speaker 5: negotiations that occurred this past weekend, and of course now
- 24:35Speaker 5: the blockade on the straight uf our moves by Trump
- 24:38Speaker 5: against the Iranian block gade.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Your thoughts.
- 24:41Speaker 9: Yeah, The fascinating thing to me about this past week
- 24:44Speaker 9: or so was when, you know, President Trump came out
- 24:48Speaker 9: with some very strong statements. He made a post on
- 24:52Speaker 9: Easter Sunday which had some explotives in it, and then
- 24:55Speaker 9: he had a follow up post on the next.
- 24:57Speaker 8: Tuesday, which is this past Tuesday.
- 25:00Speaker 9: You know that basically talked about the potential destruction of
- 25:03Speaker 9: a whole civilization, and we had this whole group of people,
- 25:07Speaker 9: mostly from the far left, but even some from the
- 25:10Speaker 9: isolation is right.
- 25:11Speaker 5: Bucker Tucker, Candice meggane Kelly Marjorie Taylor Green, just to
- 25:17Speaker 5: name a few exactly.
- 25:19Speaker 8: And they took this based on their interpretation of what
- 25:23Speaker 8: he was saying as oh my god, this.
- 25:26Speaker 9: Guy's threatening to kill ninety million civilians.
- 25:30Speaker 8: Of course, everybody went crazy.
- 25:32Speaker 9: There was talk about invoking the twenty fifth Amendment, pulling
- 25:35Speaker 9: him out of power, and.
- 25:38Speaker 8: That kind of thing.
- 25:39Speaker 9: And yet, you know, the other side of this is, so,
- 25:43Speaker 9: is that what's going on? Or is this just typical
- 25:47Speaker 9: Trump negotiating to an even higher level than normal because
- 25:53Speaker 9: the stakes of the situation are so incredibly high. And
- 25:57Speaker 9: as I wrote about in this piece, you know, the
- 26:00Speaker 9: good news is we don't have to now at this
- 26:02Speaker 9: point debate which one was actually happening, because we saw
- 26:06Speaker 9: what happened. You know, the elevated rhetoric actually did bring
- 26:11Speaker 9: a ram to the table, at least for a period
- 26:14Speaker 9: of time for negotiations.
- 26:16Speaker 8: It was a way to avoid escalating.
- 26:20Speaker 9: Even more quickly and more dangerously than we had before,
- 26:25Speaker 9: instead of what everybody on the other side was claiming.
- 26:28Speaker 8: So then we get through with this.
- 26:30Speaker 9: Just as soon as that's done, and as soon as
- 26:33Speaker 9: we see that, okay, he's really going to negotiate. He's
- 26:35Speaker 9: not going to blow up the world tomorrow like they're
- 26:37Speaker 9: trying to say.
- 26:38Speaker 8: Then all of a sudden, we start hearing Taco, Taco,
- 26:41Speaker 8: it's taco. Trump always chickens out. Now, how ridiculous is that?
- 26:46Speaker 9: I mean, after we've been through, you know, him pulling
- 26:50Speaker 9: us out of the disastrous Obama Deal, putting the sanctions
- 26:54Speaker 9: on in the first place, then having the courage to
- 26:57Speaker 9: go out and you know, execute Operation and Midnight Hammer
- 27:01Speaker 9: last summer to take out Duro here, recently the Ayatola,
- 27:06Speaker 9: and now with Operation empic Fury.
- 27:07Speaker 8: I'm to be c yes, soon to be Cuban. This
- 27:11Speaker 8: is not somebody who's afraid to act. This is not
- 27:13Speaker 8: somebody that's chicken. You know.
- 27:15Speaker 9: That would more appropriately describe the presidents we've had for
- 27:19Speaker 9: the last twenty or twenty five years. So the endpoint
- 27:22Speaker 9: is what's going on, And the point of what's going
- 27:25Speaker 9: on is Trump does use the negotiating style he wrote
- 27:29Speaker 9: about in the Art of the Deal forty some years ago.
- 27:33Speaker 9: He's used it throughout his career. He uses it here,
- 27:37Speaker 9: but and he's not afraid to take action. But at
- 27:40Speaker 9: the end of all of this, he's a very careful
- 27:45Speaker 9: ware of the risks and the benefits, and he's trying
- 27:49Speaker 9: to get the optimal outcome that he can with the war.
- 27:53Speaker 9: But he's very concerned about, you know, the cost becoming
- 27:58Speaker 9: too big and so, you know, one of these things
- 28:00Speaker 9: of going in, like a lot of the people, even
- 28:02Speaker 9: from the writer, pushing you know, hey, finish the job,
- 28:05Speaker 9: finish the job. And what they're saying is, you know,
- 28:07Speaker 9: we need to go in and get control of the
- 28:10Speaker 9: Straight of Hormuz directly, not necessarily through the blockade. This
- 28:15Speaker 9: was a few days ago. We need to go in
- 28:17Speaker 9: and attack carg Island and take over, get control of
- 28:20Speaker 9: the oil resources. Well, those things are easy to say,
- 28:23Speaker 9: but that involves putting boots on the ground, and he's
- 28:26Speaker 9: obviously very reluctant to do that. So I think what
- 28:29Speaker 9: we've seen is, you know, the hyperbole is coming from
- 28:32Speaker 9: all of the critics and Trump is actually sitting back
- 28:35Speaker 9: there and using these things to try and get what
- 28:37Speaker 9: he wants, while he's very deliberately weighing, you know, both
- 28:42Speaker 9: the potential benefits of this operation which are enormous, but
- 28:46Speaker 9: also being very concerned and cautious about getting us involved
- 28:50Speaker 9: in a way where the costs could outstrip the benefits
- 28:53Speaker 9: of what we have to to gain.
- 28:55Speaker 5: You know, its exact opposite style obviously of a too
- 28:58Speaker 5: my heroes writer Trump and on O Reagan and their
- 29:01Speaker 5: exact opposites, even though they're kind of exactly alike.
- 29:04Speaker 1: But the way they both achieve great things, but the
- 29:07Speaker 1: way they achieve it is exact opposite.
- 29:09Speaker 5: So you'd never imagined Reagan Reagan would be funny. He'd
- 29:13Speaker 5: make a comment that would be funny, that would loosen,
- 29:15Speaker 5: never would up Trump. This is Trump, and they keep
- 29:18Speaker 5: falling for the same trap. It's like road Runner against
- 29:20Speaker 5: Wylie E.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Coyote. They always think they have Trump and they never
- 29:24Speaker 1: have him.
- 29:24Speaker 5: This is the way he talks, this is the way
- 29:27Speaker 5: he negotiates.
- 29:28Speaker 1: It's not a big deal.
- 29:29Speaker 5: And by the way, Todd look at me, I look
- 29:31Speaker 5: like a completely high class guy.
- 29:33Speaker 1: Nice suit, nice shirt. Guess what.
- 29:34Speaker 5: When I was in high school, I was the only
- 29:36Speaker 5: white kid, white Jewish kid in an all black high
- 29:39Speaker 5: school Malvernon, New York, four thousand students and the one
- 29:42Speaker 5: Jewish white kid me, And if you ever heard the
- 29:44Speaker 5: words that came out of my mouth when black kids
- 29:46Speaker 5: threatened to hurt me and beat me up and chase
- 29:49Speaker 5: me home from school. And the only way I survived
- 29:52Speaker 5: was by becoming tougher than them and scaring the hell
- 29:55Speaker 5: out of him that I was gonna beat them worse
- 29:56Speaker 5: and they were gonna beat me. That's the way you fight,
- 29:59Speaker 5: you know, That's the way you negotiate and fight when
- 30:01Speaker 5: your life's on the line. That's what Trump learned on
- 30:03Speaker 5: the streets in New York. That's what I learned on
- 30:05Speaker 5: the streets in there.
- 30:05Speaker 1: Ark. It doesn't mean I'm not a nice guy generally
- 30:07Speaker 1: and today.
- 30:08Speaker 5: But back then, I had to be a vicious person
- 30:11Speaker 5: to survive some really rough kids who wanted to hurt me,
- 30:14Speaker 5: some gang bangers. And Trump is dealing with the most
- 30:17Speaker 5: vicious people in the world in Iran, so he could
- 30:19Speaker 5: use any language he wants.
- 30:21Speaker 1: All I care about is do you come out of winner?
- 30:23Speaker 1: So we'll see.
- 30:23Speaker 5: I think he'll come out of winner. I think you
- 30:25Speaker 5: already asked him out of winner. Matter of fact, that's
- 30:27Speaker 5: the next topic we wanted to talk about.
- 30:29Speaker 1: What is the US accomplished in Iran? Is it already
- 30:31Speaker 1: a victory? What do you think?
- 30:33Speaker 9: Yeah, so, my thing is we've made enormous accomplishments there.
- 30:38Speaker 9: If we could have gone back to the beginning of
- 30:41Speaker 9: this and said, hey, you know, we will take out
- 30:44Speaker 9: the Ayatola and a significant portion of the old regime
- 30:48Speaker 9: that exains his sun, yeah, you know, the country is
- 30:53Speaker 9: now being run by somebody who may or may not
- 30:55Speaker 9: even be alive. Held we've not seen in person, you know,
- 30:58Speaker 9: anytime he makes us statement, it's read by somebody on TV.
- 31:02Speaker 9: It's not even a video of him making the statement
- 31:04Speaker 9: of that kind of thing. And if we were that
- 31:06Speaker 9: plus all of the major military accomplishments, we would have said,
- 31:11Speaker 9: you know, that's a huge win.
- 31:13Speaker 1: Now.
- 31:14Speaker 9: At the same time, you know, my feeling is it's
- 31:17Speaker 9: a little too early to completely call this a major victory.
- 31:22Speaker 1: Yeah, I wouldn't say mission accomplished.
- 31:24Speaker 5: I wouldn't say mission accomplished yet like Bush did, which
- 31:27Speaker 5: was too early too to.
- 31:28Speaker 1: Say that and it came back to bite him.
- 31:30Speaker 5: But I think we've done a great job, and I
- 31:31Speaker 5: think it's an historic military what's the right word.
- 31:35Speaker 1: I'm looking for.
- 31:36Speaker 5: We're just we dominated so big time that in the
- 31:40Speaker 5: history of warfare no one's ever done. We've done in
- 31:42Speaker 5: five weeks. So it's kind of amazing. And it's all
- 31:45Speaker 5: the way you look at it. And the media's painted it.
- 31:47Speaker 5: They've pissed on Trump and painted it like it's terrible.
- 31:50Speaker 5: It's not terrible.
- 31:51Speaker 1: I think it's great, which is not done yet, right.
- 31:54Speaker 9: Yes, exactly, And I think, you know, we've also got
- 31:57Speaker 9: to go back.
- 31:57Speaker 8: You're right.
- 31:58Speaker 9: You know, a year nobody could imagine that we would
- 32:03Speaker 9: be talking about the American military in this kind of
- 32:06Speaker 9: context and in this kind of way where all of
- 32:09Speaker 9: a sudden, we've got enough confidence as a nation and
- 32:12Speaker 9: our leader does to employ them in these situations that
- 32:16Speaker 9: can make a huge difference, you know, for peace and
- 32:19Speaker 9: security of the world, because what had happened was, you know,
- 32:23Speaker 9: especially after Iraq and Afghanistan, but even going back to
- 32:28Speaker 9: the beginning point with Vietnam, you know, this series of
- 32:31Speaker 9: misadventures had really caused America's leadership in the country itself
- 32:36Speaker 9: to lose confidence in our military. You know, we wondered,
- 32:39Speaker 9: you know, are we going to be Jimmy Carter sending
- 32:41Speaker 9: the helicopters in to crash in the desert, or are
- 32:45Speaker 9: we going to go in and have you know the
- 32:47Speaker 9: kind of outcomes. I think these outcomes are way beyond
- 32:50Speaker 9: what anybody could have imagined.
- 32:51Speaker 8: But do we have the confidence to employ the military.
- 32:54Speaker 9: And I think we have had a series of leaders
- 32:56Speaker 9: that frankly just didn't have the confidence of the military.
- 32:59Speaker 8: And this has as well.
- 33:01Speaker 5: Yeah, don't forget Trump's planes got stuck in the mud,
- 33:04Speaker 5: his transport planes.
- 33:05Speaker 1: And somehow, instead of being like Jimmy Carter, we got.
- 33:08Speaker 5: New ones in, saved the day, destroyed the old ones,
- 33:10Speaker 5: and got the hell out of there.
- 33:11Speaker 1: And we didn't lose one guy. We didn't have one injury.
- 33:13Speaker 1: Kind of amazing. Good luck with Trump, bad luck with
- 33:16Speaker 1: Jimmy Carter. I don't think that's a coincidence. We're headed
- 33:18Speaker 1: to a break. Don't go anywhere.
- 33:19Speaker 5: I want you for another segment. Let's talk about the
- 33:21Speaker 5: economy and we get back. We're we're talking to Todd Sheets,
- 33:24Speaker 5: author of the book two thousand and eight What Really Happened.

- 38:24Speaker 5: All right, Todd Sheets is back with us for part
- 38:27Speaker 5: two of our interview. Author of the Substack newsletter on
- 38:31Speaker 5: Wealth and Progress. On Wealth and Progress, investment banker, economist,
- 38:35Speaker 5: author of the book two thousand and eight, What really happened?
- 38:37Speaker 5: Let me ask you an economist question, tok, because I
- 38:39Speaker 5: don't know the answer this. I got like ten different
- 38:43Speaker 5: stories today saying that President Trump is a genius.
- 38:47Speaker 1: This must be what he wanted all along. There are
- 38:49Speaker 1: like one hundred.
- 38:50Speaker 5: Gigantic supertankers headed for the United States, all of them empty.
- 38:54Speaker 1: And they're all coming to get our oil in our.
- 38:56Speaker 5: Gas because they don't have ability to get through the
- 38:58Speaker 5: straight at our moves, and they can't get it from
- 39:00Speaker 5: Iran anymore. We put Venezuela kind of out of business
- 39:03Speaker 5: except for us, so they're all coming to us.
- 39:06Speaker 1: Now. The whole world is getting their oily gas from us?
- 39:08Speaker 1: Is that really true? Age? You know that?
- 39:10Speaker 5: And b just because someone said it to me doesn't mean,
- 39:13Speaker 5: it's true, and b the question is someone I know's
- 39:15Speaker 5: kind of negative said, no, we're at one hundred almost
- 39:18Speaker 5: at one hundred percent capacity in the United States the
- 39:21Speaker 5: oil and gas industry, so we can't afford to give
- 39:24Speaker 5: to the rest of the where we barely have enough
- 39:26Speaker 5: to take care of ourselves.
- 39:27Speaker 1: I'm not sure what's true what's not at this point.
- 39:30Speaker 9: Yeah, I've heard the same thing about the tankers. I
- 39:34Speaker 9: haven't seen any confirmed reports of that, but I've seen
- 39:36Speaker 9: those same things. It makes sense that people are going
- 39:39Speaker 9: to be coming here to try and get oil from us.
- 39:42Speaker 8: You know, I think we are pretty.
- 39:44Speaker 9: Close to capacity at the prices that we were at
- 39:48Speaker 9: before the war came along, but with prices up in
- 39:52Speaker 9: the ninety five to one hundred and five dollars a barrel,
- 39:55Speaker 9: maybe even a little higher, if the markets start to
- 39:58Speaker 9: perceive those prices will.
- 40:01Speaker 8: Be around for a while, then we will see production kickup.
- 40:06Speaker 9: I think right now, you know, the oil industry is
- 40:09Speaker 9: holding back somewhat because they don't know, you.
- 40:12Speaker 8: Know, is this thing going to be a temporary thing
- 40:13Speaker 8: and in a month or two we're back to sixty
- 40:16Speaker 8: five bucks.
- 40:16Speaker 9: And if they've invested for one hundred, then they're not
- 40:19Speaker 9: going to take very good money.
- 40:20Speaker 8: Out of it.
- 40:20Speaker 5: So I know the November futures are only in the sixties,
- 40:23Speaker 5: So the oil future price in November is in the sixties.
- 40:26Speaker 1: They expect it to go right back to where it was,
- 40:28Speaker 1: or even lower than where it was. But you're right,
- 40:30Speaker 1: so they can increase capacity. And you know what number
- 40:32Speaker 1: two is. I just thinking of this now.
- 40:34Speaker 5: Venezuela, I believe, is the number two or three oil
- 40:37Speaker 5: producer in the world, and we've now got all their production.
- 40:40Speaker 5: So we could just simply get their oil and put
- 40:42Speaker 5: a profit on top of it and sell it off
- 40:44Speaker 5: to all these countries that need oil.
- 40:46Speaker 1: We could be using Venezuela as.
- 40:48Speaker 5: Oil as our partner, maybe go partners fifty to fifty,
- 40:50Speaker 5: or maybe grab their price and stick something on top
- 40:53Speaker 5: of it and make an amount on every barrel we
- 40:56Speaker 5: sell to the other people. So I think Venezuela comes
- 40:59Speaker 5: into play here. We may be at one hundred percent
- 41:01Speaker 5: in the United States, but we've now got Venezuela as
- 41:03Speaker 5: oil because they're basically our partner.
- 41:05Speaker 1: They have no choice.
- 41:06Speaker 5: Trump as a gun to their head, so that could
- 41:08Speaker 5: be good too. So look, as an economist, what's the
- 41:11Speaker 5: economic outlook and could the economy be.
- 41:14Speaker 1: Booming by summer.
- 41:15Speaker 5: I'm not an economist, but my gut is usually right
- 41:17Speaker 5: on this show, and I've been saying for months now
- 41:20Speaker 5: that I think we're going to be really good by
- 41:22Speaker 5: the fall and a summer. By the election time, I
- 41:26Speaker 5: think the economy will have turned around and be booming.
- 41:28Speaker 1: What do you say, Yeah, A couple of things.
- 41:31Speaker 9: First of all, it's important for people remember we are
- 41:34Speaker 9: by far the largest economy in the world. We're like
- 41:37Speaker 9: a super tanker that has unfortunately been sailed into troubled
- 41:41Speaker 9: waters for far too long and far too many presidential administrations.
- 41:46Speaker 8: So it takes time to get that tanker back in.
- 41:49Speaker 1: Turned around, turned around.
- 41:52Speaker 8: So guess what was happening last year then?
- 41:55Speaker 9: And we saw a very big GDP growth number in
- 41:59Speaker 9: the third core of last year. But since then, what's happened,
- 42:03Speaker 9: which I think was probably the first step towards what
- 42:06Speaker 9: you're sensing. But then since then we've had the government
- 42:09Speaker 9: shut down. Then we had the Supreme Court decision on tariffs,
- 42:13Speaker 9: which was unfortunate and created more uncertainty about the tariffs,
- 42:17Speaker 9: which makes it hard for businesses, especially small to medium
- 42:20Speaker 9: sized businesses to predict and know what.
- 42:23Speaker 8: Their costs are going to be, which is critical to
- 42:26Speaker 8: making hiring decisions.
- 42:27Speaker 9: And now we've had the war on top of that,
- 42:30Speaker 9: so I think we've had what you're talking about has
- 42:33Speaker 9: been coming for several months, but it's been delayed.
- 42:37Speaker 8: By these story things.
- 42:38Speaker 9: And I think there's a pretty good chance we get
- 42:40Speaker 9: the war resolved and these other things taken care of,
- 42:43Speaker 9: and then that happens.
- 42:44Speaker 1: There you go.
- 42:44Speaker 5: The third quarter I think was four point four percent GDP,
- 42:47Speaker 5: and I said we're going to be at five and
- 42:49Speaker 5: six next year, right, which is this year now, and
- 42:52Speaker 5: then all of that happened.
- 42:53Speaker 1: I agree with you, Todd.
- 42:54Speaker 5: I think by late summer, early fall, we're going to
- 42:56Speaker 5: be in the four to five percent GDP range.
- 42:59Speaker 1: We're going to be wooing like the Reagan years.
- 43:01Speaker 5: Todd Sheets, author of the sub Stack on Wealth and
- 43:03Speaker 5: Progress and the author of the book two thousand and
