Latest / Black Girls Consult TOO! / Episode 148: From Doing the Work to Owning the Value: What Nobody Tells You About the Consulting Work You’re Already Doing
Transcript
- 0:00SPEAKER_00: There really wasn't a dramatic moment for me.
- 0:03SPEAKER_00: I can't remember a single conversation that changed everything.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: There was no real meeting that pushed me over the edge and made me want to quit.
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: There wasn't a morning that I woke up and just decided, you know what?
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: I'm done and I am leaving.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: For me, it was a much slower realization than that.
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: And honestly, I feel as if it was a lot quieter.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: I was working inside a major healthcare system, doing the everyday work, leading initiatives, solving problems, all the things that we normally do in our jobs and in our career.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: And I got to a point where I was pretty darn good at what I did.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: People trusted me, they trusted my judgment.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: I was getting pulled into rooms and into conversations that carried me beyond my job description.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: I was even getting involved in a lot of collaborations and projects we had with others that were outside of our health system.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: But at some point, I do remember looking up and just realizing that much of what I was doing day to day was something I could honestly do on my own.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: Not that I was superwoman by any means, but just realizing that a lot of the work that I was carrying out didn't involve a lot of other pieces because much of the value of what we were doing and what we were coming up with and the strategy and the initiatives and the data analysis and the reports, all those things were a part of the expertise that I brought to the table.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: So when I thought about that, the idea of trying to do something that totally relied on my expertise on the knowledge that I had and what I had learned didn't seem so far-fetched.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: Of course, it would take the right circumstances, the right resources.
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: It needed all those things.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: As a matter of fact, in my field of healthcare consulting, I don't have a hospital, I don't have patients.
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: So at that point, I knew that the way that things would look would be a bit different.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: But just having this realization that I could do it was something that was new to me.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: I realized that I was already doing consulting work in that job.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: I just wasn't calling it that.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: And to be honest with you, I certainly wasn't getting paid for it.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: The realization didn't make me shift immediately into the consulting world, but the moment that opportunity arrived, it made it a lot easier to start that journey.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: Because there was this growing awareness that what I was doing inside one institution is something I could actually be doing for many.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: And that expertise I had built wasn't just an asset to my employer who I was working for.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: It was mine.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: I owned it.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: I worked for it.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: I trained for it.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: I stayed up a lot of nights for it.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: And I had barely scratched the surface of what it could do.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: So if this sounds a little familiar, then this episode is for you.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: They say the odds are stacked against us as women, especially women of color, trying to thrive in the consulting world.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: But rather than wait for a seat at the table that may never come, what if we build our own table?
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: What if we channeled our talent into guiding each other towards the success we deserve?
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: And welcome to the Black Girls Consulting Podcast.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: I'm your host, Dr.
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: Andrew Infus, and I've walked the path from healthcare consultant to a mentor for women like you, ambitious, unstoppable, and ready to make waves in the consulting world.
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: This podcast is your go-to spot for all free entrepreneurial consulting.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: For us as women, especially women of color, be good at your weekly coffee date with a friend who's here to dish out real talk on building a solid business, elevating your thought leadership, and mastering that all-important mindset.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: And let's not forget, we're doing all of this while balancing day jobs, family life, and running teams.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: Yes, we can do it all.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: So if you're ready to dive into how you can grow a thriving consultancy or get strategies and insights that actually fit your busy lifestyle, then you're in the right place.
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: Grab your coffee, tea, or hey, even a glass of wine.
- 4:27SPEAKER_00: I won't judge.
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: And let's get started.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: Now will you bet that you have a career that most people will look at and consider to be successful.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: You work hard for it.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: You've built it from the ground up, starting from high school, getting great grades, going to college, or what other training or professional program you may have attended.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: You have done the work.
- 4:58SPEAKER_00: You've gotten started in your career.
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: You worked hard.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: You've been the one to stay late, wake up early.
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: You've done all the things.
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: You are likely compensated very, very well.
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: And you have benefits that you have to think about, you know, childcare or health insurance, all of those things.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: You have stability, especially in such a crazy time that we're in right now, that means a lot.
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: Not to mention the level of respect that you have in your field that took you years to earn.
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: And I know you're genuinely grateful for that, but I do also realize that somewhere in the midst of all of this success, whether it was in a meeting or a hallway conversation or some quiet moment that you had in the midst of your real life and your work life, you started noticing how so many meetings seemed repetitive, that people were constantly cycling through a lot of different ideas, trying to problem solve despite those solutions being so obvious to you.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: You notice that people are coming to you specifically when they get stuck.
- 6:03SPEAKER_00: You're the go-to person.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: You're everyone's best kept secret, the person that they keep in their back pocket, the one that is working magic time and time again.
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: And I know you also notice yourself thinking through solutions in your head that others have not even considered.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: You can't help it.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: It's just actually how your mind works at this point.
- 6:25SPEAKER_00: And when all of this is happening, I know it is very unsettling at first because the push inside of you is to focus on your job and your responsibilities and to be grateful for what you had.
- 6:40SPEAKER_00: But then also I do know that if you're listening to this podcast right now, if you're listening to everything I'm saying and if it's resonating, you're also wondering whether or not this consulting thing could really turn into something big.
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: And that very quiet, and I would say slightly terrifying thought is not random.
- 7:01SPEAKER_00: It's not your ego, because I know a lot of what I've been talking about so far sounds like ego.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: It sounds like you're boosting yourself up and putting yourself on a pedestal.
- 7:11SPEAKER_00: But no, that's not what's happening.
- 7:13SPEAKER_00: It's not you getting bored for just no reason at all.
- 7:18SPEAKER_00: This is all a signal.
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: It honestly means that you've gotten to a point in your career, in your journey, where you've accomplished a lot of things, accomplished a lot more, to be honest, than you probably thought that you would have accomplished by this point in time.
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: So when this happens, this is when I feel like a lot of people go into what I like to call the consulting curiosity stage.
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: And this is a point where you're starting to see all the puzzle pieces fit together.
- 7:49SPEAKER_00: You're recognizing that what you offer your employer in your job is worth far more than you're getting compensated for.
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: You realize that you're doing a lot of work that technically you really could do on your own, but you just don't know how to piece it all together.
- 8:05SPEAKER_00: And a lot of women get to this particular stage.
- 8:10SPEAKER_00: It's just a growing awareness that comes over time when you know that your knowledge, your lived experience, your way of seeing problems actually create value beyond the place that you are.
- 8:21SPEAKER_00: And that curiosity is something that you want to honor because this curiosity stage is something that people either respond to and act on, or they bury it.
- 8:33SPEAKER_00: And what I mean by burying it, it's realizing that you have bills to pay, you have a family to take care of, you have responsibilities, you have things that you need to consider beyond just what you may want or desire in the moment.
- 8:50SPEAKER_00: And you decide to say, you know what, I'm doing well where I am.
- 8:55SPEAKER_00: Let me just continue down this path and just be good at what I do and is just kind of stay here.
- 9:02SPEAKER_00: There's nothing wrong with that.
- 9:04SPEAKER_00: And if that is something that you feel comfortable with, then that's fine.
- 9:08SPEAKER_00: But the fact once again that you're listening to this tells me otherwise.
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: And so if you start to feel this pull in a different direction, I just want you to know that this curiosity stage is very normal.
- 9:20SPEAKER_00: As a matter of fact, it is the standard, normal, traditional, expected part of the journey as you're moving from a life in corporate or in your nine to five, where you're used to following all the rules of that job, to really thinking about how you can start a business and do this on your own.
- 9:42SPEAKER_00: Now, if you start it, one of the things that always stands out to me with a lot of new or early stage consultants, and actually this even carries on to later stages of consulting who people who are very experienced in the field is that the things that made you great and excellent in your career can actually work against you when you start thinking about or even exploring and moving into consulting.
- 10:10SPEAKER_00: It sounds really counterintuitive, but it is an honest observation.
- 10:14SPEAKER_00: I think it's worth us talking about because once you begin to see this, you can't unsee it.
- 10:21SPEAKER_00: As a matter of fact, it's something that I hope to continue to explore deeper and deeper because there is so much, I feel like lived experience, but then also just research that supports a lot of why this happens.
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: But if you work for a number of years and you have earned a particular title that took decades to earn, you get to a certain salary level that reflects your dedication to the career, you're supporting your family, you have this professional identity that people recognize and respect you for, then it's very hard for you to step out into a space where you're starting all over again.
- 11:01SPEAKER_00: You don't want to look foolish, right?
- 11:04SPEAKER_00: You don't want people to say, like, hey, you have a good thing there.
- 11:06SPEAKER_00: Why are you moving?
- 11:08SPEAKER_00: You should be grateful.
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: Look, other people would love to have your job.
- 11:11SPEAKER_00: What are you doing?
- 11:13SPEAKER_00: What if you try this and it doesn't work?
- 11:15SPEAKER_00: What are you going to do?
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: These are all the comments and the things that many of the clients that have I've worked with have said and have heard over time.
- 11:25SPEAKER_00: Because when you're making this transition, you're making this leap, it is uncomfortable.
- 11:31SPEAKER_00: It doesn't feel very safe.
- 11:33SPEAKER_00: And we are typically, those of us that go into consulting and are more analytical, we are risk adverse.
- 11:40SPEAKER_00: We don't like when things feel risky.
- 11:43SPEAKER_00: And so when we're following a path that doesn't seem to fit that standard path, it it's not comfortable because the the thing is that we feel like we're putting everything on the line.
- 11:59SPEAKER_00: But I want you to just embrace the fact that consulting when you start and as you grow, it doesn't have to be an exit strategy.
- 12:12SPEAKER_00: So that's the first thing is that you can reduce this risk by simply knowing and realizing that you don't have to walk away from everything that you've worked for.
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: For many women, this journey starts as an expansion.
- 12:27SPEAKER_00: It's a way for you to create more income, to make a greater impact, to have options that exist alongside of your career.
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: Whether you are building your career portfolio or you are deciding that you're going to just, you know, take on this new path for extra money and ways to make additional investments that will bring financial stability and security to your family, just whatever plans that you have, know that it doesn't mean that you have to walk away from everything that you built until you're ready to do so.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: If you're ready to do so.
- 13:02SPEAKER_00: So the goal is not to blow up your life.
- 13:05SPEAKER_00: The goal is to stop letting your career be the only card you have in your hand.
- 13:11SPEAKER_00: Because when it's the only card, that's when you start to feel trapped.
- 13:15SPEAKER_00: That's when you start to feel uh where that like you're confined, like you don't have a path forward.
- 13:22SPEAKER_00: That's when you start to feel as if you are stuck.
- 13:27SPEAKER_00: It's always in a scenario where you feel like someone else holds the deck, where they have all the cards in their hand.
- 13:34SPEAKER_00: But when you have choices, when you've created something that can be an option for you, then I'll be honest, and I can speak from personal experience, it allowed me to find greater joy in my career path.
- 13:48SPEAKER_00: Because now I knew that it was something I was doing because I choose to do it, not because I had to do it, because I had other options available, other things on the table.
- 14:00SPEAKER_00: And so this is something, especially when you're thinking about starting and consulting or you're trying to determine whether or not you're going to lean fully in or not.
- 14:10SPEAKER_00: This is something I want you to keep in mind is that it does not have to mean that you blow up your life, blow up your world, and throw everything away.
- 14:18SPEAKER_00: It is an expansion.
- 14:20SPEAKER_00: It is an extension of the work that you do.
- 14:23SPEAKER_00: And this extension is something that can bring you greater freedom and joy and contentment than if you never started down this path at all.
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: Hey, real quick, if you have been listening to this show for a while, you already know that I believe you have more to offer the consulting market than you think.
- 14:44SPEAKER_00: So I created a free five-day email course to help you find it.
- 14:48SPEAKER_00: It's called Your Expertise is Worth More Than You Think.
- 14:51SPEAKER_00: And it is built specifically for women who are ready to stop giving their expertise away for free.
- 14:58SPEAKER_00: You know you keep doing that, and start building something of their own.
- 15:01SPEAKER_00: Check the episode description for the link, and I'll see you inside.
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: Now, when you start your business, and if you have already started and you're in the midst of building, I think you can vouch for me on this is that there are a few things that may stand in your way.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: Now, the first is that you're used to how things work in your nine-to-five.
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: You're work, you're used to the corporate environment, you're used to the traditional hierarchy that exists and how we look at credentials, how we view uh levels and leadership and uh chains of command, et cetera.
- 15:43SPEAKER_00: The thing is that when you go out on your own, those rules don't exist anymore.
- 15:48SPEAKER_00: And that was one of the hardest things that I had to come to grips with because I will often look at others who were being successful in my space, and I would think to myself, oh my gosh, I can do better than that, or I may know more than that.
- 16:05SPEAKER_00: And if we're all honest, that creeps in the back of our head from time to time because there are great people out here doing great things, and there are some people that are a little bit questionable and that are also very successful.
- 16:19SPEAKER_00: And we wonder why that happens.
- 16:21SPEAKER_00: And it happens because the rules that typically exist in the corporate environment no longer exist in entrepreneurship.
- 16:32SPEAKER_00: That is the one big difference that you have to grasp as you're moving forward.
- 16:38SPEAKER_00: You have to erase this notion that people are going to care about your credentials or your degree just because you have it.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: Now, it matters definitely in terms of you being able to do the work.
- 16:51SPEAKER_00: So if you need the training and the education in order for you to do a great job and be excellent at what you do, that's when it matters.
- 16:59SPEAKER_00: But if someone needs help, they're not asking what school you went to or what degree you hold.
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: If they have seen results and they know that you can do the job and they've seen the outcome for others and it's what they want, they are going to pay for it.
- 17:20SPEAKER_00: And that's a reality in the world of entrepreneurship, which is vastly different, like I said before, from what we are used to when it comes to our careers.
- 17:31SPEAKER_00: And coming to this realization is the hardest thing to do.
- 17:36SPEAKER_00: It took me forever, and it still sneaks up from time to time because we have been so conditioned to think of our journey a certain way, especially if you are ambitious and if you have been a high performer all of your life.
- 17:52SPEAKER_00: This is going to continue because it's part of who you are.
- 17:55SPEAKER_00: But you have to separate your business and your credentials and your education from the decision making of the client.
- 18:07SPEAKER_00: Now, I'm not saying not to use those things.
- 18:08SPEAKER_00: Those things are very valuable if you have them.
- 18:11SPEAKER_00: But don't think that they're going to choose you because of that.
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: They are going to look at the outcomes, they're going to look at the results, they're going to, you know, look at other factors that uh allow them to do a better comparison among others in the entrepreneurship space that's going to be different from your career.
- 18:29SPEAKER_00: So that's the one thing that can often stand in your way that you have to kind of get over.
- 18:35SPEAKER_00: Now, the second thing is that you don't have to have it all figured out from the start.
- 18:41SPEAKER_00: We are so used to having everything mapped out and planned, and we have the perfect strategy.
- 18:47SPEAKER_00: We want everything to look super professional and polished, and we spend so much time doing things that don't lead to landing clients.
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: It doesn't get you the clients that you need, it doesn't get you the money in your pocket, it doesn't advance your business because it's all built around what you think a business should look like.
- 19:10SPEAKER_00: And this is something that often keeps us stuck.
- 19:12SPEAKER_00: When people are starting out, they spend so much time refining what their niche should be or second guessing it, starting over and over again.
- 19:19SPEAKER_00: They're sketching out their offer, they're changing their offer 10 times before they ever sell it to a client.
- 19:24SPEAKER_00: They are brainstorming nowadays.
- 19:26SPEAKER_00: They got Chat GPT going 24-7, constantly trying to think about new ideas, new possibilities.
- 19:34SPEAKER_00: They're building websites before they even know what they are actually selling.
- 19:39SPEAKER_00: But everything we want to look done, professional, finished.
- 19:46SPEAKER_00: And it's not that it's wrong to desire that.
- 19:50SPEAKER_00: But when you're starting out, you just need the work.
- 19:52SPEAKER_00: You just need the work.
- 19:54SPEAKER_00: Just like if you have been in any training program during your educational years, or maybe once you finish and got your job, the training comes from the hands-on experience.
- 20:05SPEAKER_00: I mean, we we do all the textbook work, we do all the planning, we do the homework, but it's not until you actually put that emotion in everyday life that it really begins to stick.
- 20:17SPEAKER_00: And you figure out what you're doing right and what you're doing wrong, what you may have misunderstood, what needs to be tweaked, what needs to be iterated.
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: You learn that from actually boots on the ground.
- 20:28SPEAKER_00: And so this is what you have to push through the desire and the need to show up a certain way.
- 20:34SPEAKER_00: And instead get comfortable with being a little messy, get comfortable with not everything not being as perfect as you want it to be, and just getting the reps in, getting the time in in terms of trying to sell the offer, trying to land the client, serving clients, figuring out if this is this the type of work I want to do or not.
- 20:58SPEAKER_00: Because the clarity that you need is going to come from you actually doing the work.
- 21:01SPEAKER_00: It's going to come from you testing ideas and real conversations, from seeing what resonates, from the kind of feed mat that happens only when you are talking to someone and actually doing the work with them.
- 21:15SPEAKER_00: All of these things that feel good or feel bad, the lessons that you learn from all of that, that is what is going to give you the clarity that you need to move forward.
- 21:23SPEAKER_00: And then building the website and creating the perfect offer, all those things become a lot easier to do because now you have a better understanding as to what the market is going to respond to, what clients actually need, what you're actually good at, what you want to do and what you don't want to do.
- 21:40SPEAKER_00: All of these many lessons are what is needed in order for you to build the business that you're actually dreaming about building.
- 21:49SPEAKER_00: You're not starting at the very beginning with that business built just from planning.
- 21:55SPEAKER_00: It is going to take that trial and error in order to get you there.
- 21:58SPEAKER_00: And then one of the last hurdles that I've See most commonly, especially among high-achieving women, is that there is this misunderstanding about what makes someone qualified to consult.
- 22:12SPEAKER_00: What I mean by that is that there are a lot of women who are brilliant, know their stuff, great at what they do, spent years in their careers just showing amazing results and growing and uh doing all the things.
- 22:26SPEAKER_00: They have the credibility through titles, degrees, and uh, you know, various affiliations.
- 22:31SPEAKER_00: They are doing it.
- 22:34SPEAKER_00: But when they think about consulting and putting that expertise forward as something that people are willing to pay for, they feel unprepared.
- 22:42SPEAKER_00: And this causes them to reach for the credentials, like I said, which are not viewed necessarily in the same way in the entrepreneurship space, or they reach for another certification or another degree or another layer of external validation.
- 22:59SPEAKER_00: They're reaching for something to say, you are ready now to consult.
- 23:04SPEAKER_00: But what I've learned from my own path and from working with a number of women across industries is that buyers are paying for the result.
- 23:13SPEAKER_00: They're not paying for your degree, they're not paying for the certification, they're not paying for the training, they're not paying for even the wards that are on your wall.
- 23:24SPEAKER_00: Yes, all of these experiences helped you build your knowledge base and your perspective.
- 23:30SPEAKER_00: So I am a huge advocate for all of those things because they build you as the person.
- 23:36SPEAKER_00: What I'm trying to convey is that you have to separate those things from what you believe will help you to grow this business.
- 23:47SPEAKER_00: This is not what is going to make you quote unquote qualified to consult.
- 23:52SPEAKER_00: You are qualified to consult using the expertise and the knowledge you already have.
- 23:58SPEAKER_00: You don't have to go back for anything.
- 24:00SPEAKER_00: If you are being paid in your nine-to-five right now and you're doing a job right now that others find is valuable, that you're being compensated for, that you are having others come to you for, that you have special talents and gifts that others don't have, that they lean on uh most often, whether it's in your job, outside of your job, you have knowledge and expertise that someone wants and needs.
- 24:26SPEAKER_00: And the thing that you have to do is not start from scratch, not start over, not build up more experience, but it's actually just thinking about what you have in front of you right now.
- 24:39SPEAKER_00: The knowledge and the experience and the expertise you have in your possession right now, and seeing it as an asset, which it already is.
- 24:49SPEAKER_00: And this is, I would say, the biggest and the most significant hurdle.
- 24:55SPEAKER_00: Because until you're able to visualize all that you hold and kind of how it uniquely blends to make you unique and stand out in your market and your industry, then it is going to be somewhat difficult for you to grow and build this business because you're going to constantly be putting various obstacles in your way.
- 25:14SPEAKER_00: So, you know, when I work with clients, I do like for us to walk through breaking down and breaking through all of these barriers, you know, really moving past all these things that keep us stuck.
- 25:26SPEAKER_00: Because this is the part that no one talks about.
- 25:29SPEAKER_00: We talk about the path of, you know, create your offer and market your business and you need to sell and how you sell, and all those things are important.
- 25:40SPEAKER_00: But unless you get to a point where you have overcome these obstacles, it's going to be difficult.
- 25:48SPEAKER_00: So the path to consulting is not as complicated as it seems.
- 25:54SPEAKER_00: You need to package your expertise, you need to craft an offer, and you need to start having conversations.
- 26:01SPEAKER_00: That is how you get started.
- 26:03SPEAKER_00: That's how you build.
- 26:05SPEAKER_00: And by serving clients and serving them well, that's how you grow.
- 26:08SPEAKER_00: It is literally that simple.
- 26:12SPEAKER_00: But it's that work that we do underneath all that that actually is what keeps that ball rolling and makes a difference.
- 26:20SPEAKER_00: So I'm I hope this episode has helped you to number one, see the value that you already have, but then also realize that this path can be simple.
- 26:30SPEAKER_00: And the reason why I'm sharing this is because I want you to see the simplicity of it.
- 26:36SPEAKER_00: Because if you see how simple this path is, you'll understand how easy it is for you to actually walk it.
- 26:42SPEAKER_00: Because you can.
- 26:44SPEAKER_00: So I want you to think about how you can take everything that you know right now, and you can show up in your space and build something that can turn into whatever you want it to turn into, really.
- 27:04SPEAKER_00: But it can become your new full-time venture if that's what you desire.
- 27:11SPEAKER_00: Or it can support your career if that's what you want.
- 27:16SPEAKER_00: The bottom line is that you just need to get started.
- 27:22SPEAKER_00: And if you start it, you just need to keep going.
- 27:25SPEAKER_00: So I hope this episode just helps to reignite that fire, light that fire, keep you moving.
- 27:31SPEAKER_00: And if you are interested in taking this to another level, there are a number of ways that I work with clients in order to do this.
- 27:39SPEAKER_00: I do have, uh if you're just trying to figure this out from ground zero, a workshop that, or training rather, that is available called How to Sell What You Know that helps you to figure out exactly how to piece your expertise together.
- 27:54SPEAKER_00: Um, I'll also drop that in the description as well.
- 27:57SPEAKER_00: But then, you know, once you get beyond that, then it's time to think about how you are able to build this runway and actually get this business going and build the momentum you need in order to grow.
- 28:12SPEAKER_00: Uh, and so I do also work with clients on that as well.
- 28:15SPEAKER_00: So once again, check the description.
- 28:17SPEAKER_00: You'll find all the information there.
- 28:19SPEAKER_00: And until next time, take care.
