  Speaker 1: one for us. Today, I want to talk to you

  Speaker 1: about something a lot of people experience, but not everybody

  Speaker 1: talks about. What do you do when you feel like

  Speaker 1: nobody supports you? Not your friends. Not your family. Not

  Speaker 1: the people you thought would be standing beside you. You

  Speaker 1: look around and it feels like you're fighting every battle

  Speaker 1: by yourself. And let me tell you something. That feeling hurts.

  Speaker 1: Because when you're trying to build something, change your life,

  Speaker 1: chase a dream, or simply become a better version of yourself,

  Speaker 1: you want somebody in your corner. You want somebody to say,

  Speaker 1: I believe in you. Keep going. You got this. But sometimes,

  Speaker 1: nobody says it. And that's when you have to learn

  Speaker 1: one of the hardest lessons in life. You can't always
• 1:11
  Speaker 1: depend on other people to believe in you before you
• 1:14
  Speaker 1: believe in yourself. There have been times in my life

  Speaker 1: when I've looked around and thought, where is everybody? You

  Speaker 1: showed up for people. You listened to their problems. You
• 1:26
  Speaker 1: encouraged them. You celebrate their accomplishments. You tell them they
• 1:30
  Speaker 1: can do anything. But when it's your turn, silence. And
• 1:36
  Speaker 1: that's a tough pill to swallow. Sometimes the people you
• 1:40
  Speaker 1: expect to support you are the very people who question you.

  Speaker 1: Why are you doing this? That's never going to work.

  Speaker 1: You should just give up. And sometimes they don't even
• 1:52
  Speaker 1: have to say anything. Sometimes it's the lack of support
• 1:55
  Speaker 1: that speaks the loudest. They don't ask how you're doing.

  Speaker 1: They don't ask about your dreams. They don't check on you.

  Speaker 1: They don't show up. And you start wondering, maybe I'm

  Speaker 1: not good enough. Listen to me carefully. Their lack of

  Speaker 1: support does not determine your worth. Somebody else's inability to

  Speaker 1: see your potential doesn't mean you don't have potential. Sometimes

  Speaker 1: you're going to have to walk alone. And walking alone
• 2:30
  Speaker 1: doesn't mean you're lost. Sometimes it means you're strong enough

  Speaker 1: to keep moving without somebody holding your hand. You have
• 2:38
  Speaker 1: to learn how to clap for yourself. You have to
• 2:40
  Speaker 1: learn how to celebrate your own victories. And you have
• 2:44
  Speaker 1: to look in the mirror and say, I'm proud of you.

  Speaker 1: Even when nobody else says it. Because if you spend

  Speaker 1: your entire life waiting for everybody else's approval, you're going
• 2:56
  Speaker 1: to spend your life waiting. And your dreams can't wait forever.

  Speaker 1: Your life can't wait forever. You have to keep moving forward.

  Speaker 1: How about that? Great advice, eh? But it's true. You

  Speaker 1: have to keep moving forward. You can't depend on other

  Speaker 1: people to praise you and tell you that you're doing

  Speaker 1: a great job. You have to just do it on
