Today may feel, let me just put it this way. Today may feel heavy for some of

you because forgiveness is hard.

And let's be honest, sometimes it feels unfair.

But here's the reality of it. Forgiveness doesn't excuse what happened.

It releases you from carrying it. Be kind and compassionate to one another.

Forgive each other just as Christ God forgave you.

That's Ephesians 4, verse 32.

Unforgiveness keeps you tied to the pain. Forgiveness hands the justice to God.

It's not about pretending it didn't hurt. It's about refusing to let it control you.

Forgiveness is freedom. And it may take time. It may take prayer. It may take some tears.

But healing begins when you release.

Heavenly Father, give us the courage to forgive, free our hearts from bitterness,

and help us walk in your peace.
