- 0:08Speaker 1: Tick bites are on the rise, and along with it
- 0:11Speaker 1: the alpha gal syndrome, and it's one of the fastest
- 0:14Speaker 1: growing and most misunderstood allergic conditions in the United States today,
- 0:20Speaker 1: Yet many people have never even heard of what it is. Today,
- 0:24Speaker 1: we're breaking it down what alpha gl is, where it
- 0:27Speaker 1: comes from, why it's increasing, how it affects the body,
- 0:30Speaker 1: and what you can do to protect yourself and your family.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Hello everybody, and welcome back to Life TV Now, where

- 0:50Speaker 1: We're going to be going over some information that reveals
- 0:53Speaker 1: some insights into some dilemmas I was experiencing even myself
- 0:57Speaker 1: last week with some of the content we were talking
- 0:59Speaker 1: about that had kind of uneasy. But today we're going
- 1:01Speaker 1: to be talking about solutions and what you can do,
- 1:03Speaker 1: what I can do, what we can do to protect
- 1:07Speaker 1: our families from this thing called alpha gal. But before
- 1:10Speaker 1: we dive in, let me introduce who's here. She's an

- 2:00Speaker 1: at is go back to the archives and watch last
- 2:02Speaker 1: week's program. We were blessed to hear your triumphant overcoming
- 2:09Speaker 1: of this syndrome called Alpha gal. We did not get
- 2:13Speaker 1: a lot into the details in terms of what supplements
- 2:15Speaker 1: maybe helped you kind of overcome some of what you
- 2:18Speaker 1: were dealing with. But just to recap, you went many
- 2:21Speaker 1: months following a tick bite, experiencing all kinds of anomalistic breakouts.
- 2:25Speaker 1: You vomited daily for months on end. Doctors could not
- 2:29Speaker 1: explain what this is. One night you land in the
- 2:33Speaker 1: emergency room and finally, by the grace of God, somebody
- 2:36Speaker 1: tells you we know what your problem is. You have
- 2:40Speaker 1: Alpha gal. And then since then you've been through the
- 2:43Speaker 1: careful elimination diets. You went through this whole period of
- 2:48Speaker 1: time with your family where you can't eat out, and
- 2:50Speaker 1: you said there was some resentment attached to that family
- 2:54Speaker 1: plans getting rearranged or canceled, and it was not an
- 2:57Speaker 1: immediate path back to feeling better. Months after this tick
- 3:02Speaker 1: bite and even your diagnosis on the elimination diet and
- 3:05Speaker 1: talking to allergists, you finally found breakthrough when you started
- 3:08Speaker 1: taking care of your gut. She started eating fermented foods.
- 3:12Speaker 1: I'm assuming probiotics or steps therein to rebuild a healthy
- 3:16Speaker 1: gut microbiome. We're not going to spend all day unpacking
- 3:19Speaker 1: gut health. That's a whole other series of programs, but
- 3:22Speaker 1: I want it said. That was when you first began
- 3:26Speaker 1: feeling much much better, and what now today is a
- 3:29Speaker 1: completely different life resembling the one that originally earned the
- 3:33Speaker 1: diagnosis alpha gal. Today, I want to focus a lot
- 3:36Speaker 1: on what it is and what people need to know
- 3:38Speaker 1: about it, why it's on the rise, and what can
- 3:42Speaker 1: be done to protect yourself. You know, we do camps
- 3:44Speaker 1: every year. We're out in the woods with the children
- 3:47Speaker 1: of Whispering Ponies Ranch. They come by way of Royal
- 3:50Speaker 1: family kids, we're doing ministry. Our whole operation takes place
- 3:54Speaker 1: three hundred acres and I literally cannot stop the tick bites.
- 3:57Speaker 1: I cannot stop the chigger bytes. Now, you and Jamie
- 4:01Speaker 1: both have spent a lot of time researching alpha gal
- 4:04Speaker 1: so let's just start here for those that missed last week,
- 4:08Speaker 1: your incredible description of what it is and what makes
- 4:10Speaker 1: it different from other typical food allergies.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Yeah. So, like we discussed last week, alpha gal is
- 4:18Speaker 2: and it can be a serious life threatening condition that
- 4:23Speaker 2: is caused by a tick bite. And it is even
- 4:27Speaker 2: further into that solely from a sugar molecule that is
- 4:32Speaker 2: found in mammals, and it's natural to mammals but not
- 4:37Speaker 2: natural to humans. So when a tick goes and bites
- 4:41Speaker 2: this mammal keeps it in saliva, and then it comes
- 4:44Speaker 2: and bites you or me or somebody else and gets
- 4:48Speaker 2: into the bloodstream. And then that's when our antibodies. That's
- 4:52Speaker 2: when our immune system goes this is not supposed to
- 4:55Speaker 2: be here.
- 4:56Speaker 3: It remembers it, and.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Then when we consume that red meat or that mammal byproduct,
- 5:02Speaker 2: that our body attacks it. And the only way that
- 5:05Speaker 2: it knows how to do that is through an allergic reaction.
- 5:08Speaker 2: The way that it's different from most allergies is that
- 5:15Speaker 2: it has a big time delay, and so most doctors
- 5:19Speaker 2: are going to tell you that your allergic reaction is
- 5:22Speaker 2: going to be anywhere between two to six hours after consumption,
- 5:27Speaker 2: and even in more extreme cases like mine, mine was
- 5:31Speaker 2: twenty four to forty eight hours after consumption, so we
- 5:35Speaker 2: really didn't know what it was it is.
- 5:39Speaker 4: They also when you go in and they're like, oh,
- 5:41Speaker 4: clearly there's an allergic reaction. They usually test for proteins.
- 5:46Speaker 4: This is not a protein that the body is reacting to.
- 5:49Speaker 4: It's a sugar, an alpha galactose, which is why it's
- 5:53Speaker 4: called alpha gal. And so it goes many months sometimes undiagnosed.
- 5:58Speaker 4: In fact, I spoke to a woman last summer where
- 6:01Speaker 4: she over a year, they started telling her she was nuts,
- 6:04Speaker 4: she's crazy, she was vomiting after eating, and eventually she
- 6:08Speaker 4: just found her own way into a vegan diet because
- 6:11Speaker 4: that's the only way she could function and take care
- 6:13Speaker 4: of her family. And it was months after that that
- 6:16Speaker 4: they knew to test for that, and they were like, oh,
- 6:19Speaker 4: you have alpha gal. You're not crazy. And so that
- 6:22Speaker 4: is one reason why we felt it was very important
- 6:25Speaker 4: to do this show because it may be more common
- 6:28Speaker 4: to some of us in the Ozarks or in the Midwest,
- 6:30Speaker 4: and even in the Southeast too, where it is most prevalent.
- 6:34Speaker 4: But spreading the awareness because there could be someone out
- 6:36Speaker 4: there suffering right now with just mysterious symptoms and not
- 6:41Speaker 4: even know that they could ask for a test to
- 6:43Speaker 4: test for alpha gal. A lot of doctors don't know.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Well, and Jamie, this isn't just theoretical book knowledge. You
- 6:49Speaker 1: didn't just sit down one day and google this thing out.
- 6:51Speaker 1: This is very personal to you. Yeah, you want to
- 6:53Speaker 1: talk just briefly about your encounter with what happened with
- 6:56Speaker 1: your family with this whole thing.
- 6:57Speaker 4: Yes, we were new to the Ozarks and we have
- 7:01Speaker 4: ten acres. We have to do a lot of weeding,
- 7:06Speaker 4: bush whacking. Well, my husband often would get chiger bytes
- 7:09Speaker 4: and things like that. Well, there was one day where
- 7:13Speaker 4: we were just relaxing after a long day and I
- 7:18Speaker 4: had given my husband a chip and this does relate,
- 7:21Speaker 4: I promise. It was a sweet potato chip, and within
- 7:26Speaker 4: two minutes he started to break out in hives. And
- 7:29Speaker 4: the joke was you were trying to kill me with
- 7:31Speaker 4: this sweet potato chip that he had never had before.
- 7:33Speaker 4: He's like, I must be allergic to sweet potatoes. And
- 7:36Speaker 4: it was a long time of just random allergic reactions
- 7:40Speaker 4: and he couldn't figure it out. I remember that, Yeah,
- 7:43Speaker 4: horrible gut issues, hives, And it took months of testing
- 7:48Speaker 4: and doctor visits to find out that it was alpha gal.
- 7:50Speaker 4: But here's the thing you're not going to like.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Joe.
- 7:53Speaker 4: He had had chiger bytes many times, both of us
- 7:56Speaker 4: have our children. Chiger Bytes are very very normal, very
- 7:59Speaker 4: very common. He had only had one tick bite. It
- 8:02Speaker 4: was a very small tick and it was barely even attached,
- 8:05Speaker 4: and it was on the outside of his pinky toe.
- 8:07Speaker 4: You know sometimes that area can get callous, so it
- 8:10Speaker 4: wasn't even hardly and there he just plucked it right
- 8:12Speaker 4: off head and everything was crawling normal and alpha gal.
- 8:17Speaker 4: So the doctors told him, because they also are taught,
- 8:21Speaker 4: you know, well, it needs to be latched, likely for
- 8:23Speaker 4: twenty four hours or more for you to get it.
- 8:25Speaker 4: So they're thinking it could have been the chiggers.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Actually, now no, I know, and here we are in
- 8:31Speaker 1: the Midwest. I don't like any of this, but we
- 8:34Speaker 1: are hearing about this on the rise. And that's the
- 8:36Speaker 1: other reason we wanted to do this program, because this
- 8:39Speaker 1: program literally specializes in featuring the emergent stuff that most
- 8:44Speaker 1: of you know, the Babylonian construct either knows very little
- 8:47Speaker 1: about or they're just learning of it themselves. The things
- 8:49Speaker 1: that they offer are just not in keeping with the
- 8:52Speaker 1: natural stuff that God is going to use likely to
- 8:54Speaker 1: bring true lasting restoration. So where are we seeing this
- 8:58Speaker 1: the most right now?
- 9:00Speaker 4: It's definitely most prevalent in the Midwest, the southeast, but
- 9:05Speaker 4: there are parts of some of the northern areas also
- 9:09Speaker 4: seeing them now. Unfortunately, especially we're not getting those cold
- 9:12Speaker 4: winters that would normally kill a lot of them off,
- 9:14Speaker 4: and so it is spreading.
- 9:16Speaker 1: It's getting bad.
- 9:17Speaker 4: It is getting really bad.
- 9:18Speaker 1: One of the challenges Ashley, with alpha gal is that
- 9:21Speaker 1: it often goes undiagnosed. And I know that that was
- 9:24Speaker 1: your early on experience. That was John Woodle, my friend
- 9:27Speaker 1: Jamie's husband, you know, and they're looking at allergies or
- 9:31Speaker 1: elimination diets, or they're telling you to talk to an
- 9:33Speaker 1: allergist or like in your case. Last week, she talked
- 9:36Speaker 1: about doctors just telling her, well, it's an unknown autoimmune condition.
- 9:40Speaker 1: We really don't know what's causing this. What are some
- 9:43Speaker 1: of the most common symptoms. If people are maybe watching
- 9:46Speaker 1: this and they're like, I don't know, do I have
- 9:48Speaker 1: alpha gl what is this?
- 9:49Speaker 2: Yeah? Common symptoms can even go down to feeling overwhelming fatigue,
- 9:55Speaker 2: like being just run down, headaches, night sweats, cold st
- 10:00Speaker 2: what and you vomiting, upset digestion, so they're having to
- 10:06Speaker 2: frequent bathrooms. So if you're vomiting, if you have an
- 10:10Speaker 2: under the skin rash, because most of the time, when
- 10:13Speaker 2: we think it, all of our jer direction it's on
- 10:15Speaker 2: top right and it itches, and we have hives and
- 10:17Speaker 2: we've got bumps. Even if you have under the skin
- 10:20Speaker 2: rash and it's not itching but it is spreading, that
- 10:24Speaker 2: can be a sign of it as well. So I'd
- 10:26Speaker 2: say just monitor your symptoms and i'd write and document
- 10:31Speaker 2: everything down when you got the symptom, how long it's
- 10:33Speaker 2: been taking, and what you did to relieve it, and
- 10:38Speaker 2: if it did relieve it in any way.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Yeah, it's very elusive, it's very difficult, and a lot
- 10:43Speaker 1: of states, I imagine, probably aren't even prioritizing these types
- 10:46Speaker 1: of tests and stuff. If you live in a region
- 10:48Speaker 1: that doesn't really get you know, specifically tick bites and stuff.
- 10:51Speaker 1: But man, oh man, we've been in Missouri for you know,
- 10:54Speaker 1: nearly twenty years, and I have seen the occasional tick
- 10:58Speaker 1: bite too. There are just lead of them now, and
- 11:02Speaker 1: I mean that literally, there are just legions of them
- 11:04Speaker 1: now with tick exposure being a major risk. Let's get
- 11:08Speaker 1: into my favorite direction of this show, practical steps, and
- 11:12Speaker 1: we're going to be talking briefly about essential oils and
- 11:15Speaker 1: also your journey. Last week, I wanted to draw out
- 11:18Speaker 1: a little bit more of some of the things that
- 11:20Speaker 1: you did in addition to just gut prioritizing fermented foods, probiotics,
- 11:27Speaker 1: where there are other things lifestyle, you know, spiritual. Were
- 11:30Speaker 1: there things that you leaned into to get you past
- 11:34Speaker 1: the symptomology of alpha gel.
- 11:36Speaker 2: For the first two years of my diagnosis, I was
- 11:40Speaker 2: not very happy in anyway. I actually struggled and I
- 11:47Speaker 2: prayed almost daily. I was like, God, why are you
- 11:49Speaker 2: allowing me to go through this? I'm mad, you know,
- 11:51Speaker 2: my family's struggling and I'm struggling, and I don't understand
- 11:56Speaker 2: why I have to go through it.
- 11:57Speaker 3: And of course God.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Is very patient, He's like child just wait and you'll understand.
- 12:03Speaker 2: And so it took a little bit of time, but
- 12:07Speaker 2: that prayer and that consistent being with him, God, I
- 12:11Speaker 2: need your help.
- 12:11Speaker 3: Please Lord, bless this food.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Let's make sure that we're not having an allergic reaction today.
- 12:17Speaker 2: I would really like not to use my eppiepen. And
- 12:21Speaker 2: he's always faithful. He's always going to be there, especially
- 12:25Speaker 2: for his children. So that was my number one. Like
- 12:28Speaker 2: I always turned to him even when I was mad.
- 12:31Speaker 2: He wants us mad when we come to him, right mad,
- 12:33Speaker 2: happy said, he wants it all. And so after that,
- 12:38Speaker 2: it was looking at all the labels, making sure that
- 12:42Speaker 2: I wasn't getting that cross contamination and really honing in
- 12:47Speaker 2: on that.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Cross contamination of what for those that maybe aren't sure
- 12:51Speaker 1: what you mean by that.
- 12:52Speaker 2: So my allergy, like I said last week, is so
- 12:55Speaker 2: severe that milk products especially were my highest allergy. So
- 13:02Speaker 2: if there was any traces of milk or it says
- 13:05Speaker 2: may contain or on equipment with or possibly on equipment, Yeah.
- 13:11Speaker 4: And that's on everything anything that has a label on it,
- 13:15Speaker 4: like would have that.
- 13:16Speaker 2: So I had to really focus in on reading every
- 13:20Speaker 2: single label. Not just that, but I had to cut
- 13:24Speaker 2: out you know certain medications that I was taking, because
- 13:30Speaker 2: medications too contain gelatin capsules.
- 13:33Speaker 3: That's bovine, man.
- 13:35Speaker 1: I can't even imagine you trying to just carve some
- 13:38Speaker 1: of those things out of your existence.
- 13:40Speaker 2: Yeah, even further into that in everything, Yeah it is.
- 13:44Speaker 2: Most people don't know about this medication. It's called magnesium steerrate,
- 13:48Speaker 2: and it's actually bovine bone particles inside the medicines itself.
- 13:54Speaker 3: So it's a filler.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I know in fact magnesium steer rate. Not
- 13:57Speaker 1: that I'm going to stump on this for a minute,
- 13:59Speaker 1: but our Eden's Essentials products, we don't use binders fillers.
- 14:02Speaker 1: You're not going to see magnesium steer raids, silicon dioxides.
- 14:06Speaker 3: To be honest.
- 14:07Speaker 2: I didn't start taking supplements until way later in my journey.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Actually just two years ago is when I really started
- 14:16Speaker 2: honing in on what my body really needed and what
- 14:19Speaker 2: was missing. So I had to go to the hospital.
- 14:23Speaker 2: I was severely malnourished. I was losing a lot of
- 14:28Speaker 2: blood somewhere in my body. We didn't quite know where
- 14:32Speaker 2: it was coming from. But I was so tired. I
- 14:35Speaker 2: couldn't sleep and I was up all the time. So
- 14:38Speaker 2: they took my iron levels and they said, your ferretin
- 14:42Speaker 2: is at a two percent and you are severely malnourished.
- 14:47Speaker 3: We need you to start taking the iron.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Aw you were conscious at that point.
- 14:51Speaker 2: By the grace of God, I was still functioning, taking
- 14:54Speaker 2: care of at the time five children and running a household.
- 14:57Speaker 2: So it was God the whole time. I shouldn't be here,
- 15:01Speaker 2: but I am, so all glory goes to him on
- 15:03Speaker 2: that one. But that's when I started to really figure
- 15:08Speaker 2: out what my body needed, because everybody's bodies are different.
- 15:12Speaker 2: What might work for me might not work for you.
- 15:15Speaker 2: And I needed that over consumption of iron in order
- 15:19Speaker 2: to continue life.
- 15:21Speaker 3: But not just that.
- 15:23Speaker 2: When you take iron, you have to take other supplements
- 15:25Speaker 2: to bind that iron, to make sure that it's going through.
- 15:29Speaker 3: The entire body.
- 15:31Speaker 2: So I really started learning about that just about two
- 15:34Speaker 2: years ago, and that's changed my life completely.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Just an understanding of how to nourish your body. Yeah, yeah,
- 15:41Speaker 1: And I would love to tell you there's a bullet
- 15:44Speaker 1: point list of things that would work for everybody in
- 15:46Speaker 1: this what I'm hearing you describe. In my view, if
- 15:48Speaker 1: I'm watching this at home and I don't have experience,
- 15:50Speaker 1: what I'm hearing you describe is if you have any
- 15:52Speaker 1: of these symptoms, you may want to ask your doctor
- 15:55Speaker 1: to run a panel specifically for alpha gal And if
- 15:58Speaker 1: you find out that that is part of your dilemma
- 16:00Speaker 1: or the whole of the dilemma, you probably are looking
- 16:03Speaker 1: now for a naturopathic or a natural doctor, somebody that
- 16:07Speaker 1: looks at this holistically that can help you with your macronutrients.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Your micronutrients, run panels, do a K panel, look at
- 16:14Speaker 1: your thyroid, look at your mineral levels and your vitamin levels,
- 16:17Speaker 1: so that you can get that nourishment back into your
- 16:19Speaker 1: body without you know, triggering. Like the magnesium states are
- 16:24Speaker 1: in tons of supplements, not ours, but in tons of supplements,
- 16:28Speaker 1: they cut corners, they use binders, and so you could
- 16:31Speaker 1: be looking at something that otherwise your body needs, but
- 16:33Speaker 1: it's encapsulated in something that's going to throw red flags
- 16:36Speaker 1: up with your immune system. In fact, before we continue,
- 16:39Speaker 1: let me just take this quick occasion to tell you
- 16:41Speaker 1: about something that I'm seeing help a lot of people
- 16:44Speaker 1: who are looking to support healthy blood sugar levels and
- 16:47Speaker 1: a healthy insulin response. Something I absolutely love and I
- 16:51Speaker 1: think you're going to love it too. I'm talking about
- 16:53Speaker 1: Eden's Essentials new and improved blood sugar formula. It's a
- 16:57Speaker 1: thoughtfully crafted botanical blend within green. It's like cinnamon, bark, gymnema,
- 17:02Speaker 1: fin you, Greek, bitter melon, and chromium designed to support
- 17:05Speaker 1: healthy metabolic function and help maintain normal blood sugar levels
- 17:10Speaker 1: and overall balance in the body. It's made with clean
- 17:13Speaker 1: plant based ingredients, no fillers, no artificial additives or preservatives.
- 17:17Speaker 1: We're talking about just a pure, carefully sourced formula that
- 17:20Speaker 1: you can trust in a clean, simple, easy to take capsule.
- 17:24Speaker 1: And right now, we have a special going on at
- 17:26Speaker 1: Eden's Essentials where you can save fifteen percent off your
- 17:28Speaker 1: next purchase of our blood sugar formula when you use

- 17:36Speaker 1: I don't know how long these prices are going to last.
- 17:39Speaker 1: I don't know how long this promo code is going
- 17:42Speaker 1: to last. So don't delay. Try Eden's Blood Sugar Formula
- 17:46Speaker 1: today with promo code sug LTN and save fifteen percent
- 17:50Speaker 1: off your next order. Now, getting back to Alpha Gala,
- 17:54Speaker 1: I just want to say before we turn the channel
- 17:56Speaker 1: that there are people in the natural holistic community been
- 17:59Speaker 1: talking about practic tishers, chiropractors, naturopathic doctors that are using
- 18:03Speaker 1: homeopathic approach and like, for example, my good friend doctor
- 18:08Speaker 1: Josh Vance, that you've heard me talk about many, many
- 18:11Speaker 1: times for a decade now, as he was instrumental to
- 18:14Speaker 1: helping me get my gut under control a decade ago,
- 18:17Speaker 1: instrumental in my leaving what I call the Babylonian construct.
- 18:22Speaker 1: He's very sober, but he uses homeopathic medicine and he
- 18:26Speaker 1: tells me that they've had nearly one hundred percent success
- 18:29Speaker 1: rate getting alpha gal into remission with homeopathic bials. Now,
- 18:33Speaker 1: if you want to look him up, Josh Vance, amazing
- 18:36Speaker 1: chiropractor in Republic, Missouri, you can contact Vance Chiropractic. You
- 18:40Speaker 1: can set your appointment up if you live out here
- 18:42Speaker 1: in the Midwest and you want to make it a
- 18:44Speaker 1: day trip. They see people from all over the place.
- 18:46Speaker 1: They might even be willing to work you in as
- 18:48Speaker 1: a zoom, but you'd have to check with them about it.
- 18:50Speaker 1: But there are others like doctor Matthew Sam's, So it
- 18:53Speaker 1: could be that you might be able to look up
- 18:55Speaker 1: a homeopathic doctor and say, are you guys doing stuff
- 18:58Speaker 1: with alpha gl and that might be one of the
- 19:01Speaker 1: ways that you can avoid dealing with some of these
- 19:04Speaker 1: medications where they're sneaking a lot of these bovine factors
- 19:07Speaker 1: in and you take something maybe orally that you don't
- 19:10Speaker 1: even know is part of the continuing trigger, which I know, Jamie,
- 19:14Speaker 1: you've got more to say about all the ways that
- 19:16Speaker 1: these are being presented in our foods and in our
- 19:19Speaker 1: capsules and our everything, our supplements.
- 19:21Speaker 4: Go ahead, I know you had touched on earlier. How
- 19:23Speaker 4: there is dairy or even traces of it, you know,
- 19:26Speaker 4: in everything, and when you have alpha gal your level
- 19:29Speaker 4: of sensitivity could vary. For example, my husband can have
- 19:33Speaker 4: dairy and his numbers are getting better. He has it's
- 19:37Speaker 4: been about a year since his diagnosis and he is
- 19:40Speaker 4: getting better. A little cross contamination is fine, if there's
- 19:43Speaker 4: a little bacon grease on something. He doesn't go into
- 19:45Speaker 4: hives or anything. But it is in everything. Yeah, And
- 19:48Speaker 4: I know just because I have to avoid dairy for
- 19:51Speaker 4: sensitivity issues, not a reaction. But you'll find way in
- 19:55Speaker 4: all of the ultra processed foods nearly. I don't know
- 19:58Speaker 4: why they feel they need to put that into all
- 20:00Speaker 4: the baked goods. It is awful, but it goes beyond that.
- 20:05Speaker 4: There are things you don't think about. Drugs, medications that
- 20:08Speaker 4: you take. Some of them come in a gelatine capsule
- 20:11Speaker 4: or have fillers or other compounds in there related to
- 20:16Speaker 4: a mammal product. Also, another one that we don't think
- 20:18Speaker 4: about are injections, which are also known as biologics. They
- 20:24Speaker 4: can contain different kinds of animal product in there as well,
- 20:28Speaker 4: which could cause you to go into a reaction. And
- 20:30Speaker 4: here was one that blew my mind. Even some medical
- 20:33Speaker 4: devices like mesh and heart valves, things you don't think about.
- 20:37Speaker 4: And so for those that are diagnosed or are seeking
- 20:40Speaker 4: a diagnosis, you could even be getting triggered by things
- 20:43Speaker 4: that aren't normally on your radar. But if you are
- 20:47Speaker 4: diagnosed or you suspect you are diagnosed, Number one, you
- 20:50Speaker 4: must avoid getting bit by a tick again because maybe
- 20:55Speaker 4: if you're a bit once then you have it, it's
- 20:57Speaker 4: not that bad, but if you get bit again, your
- 20:59Speaker 4: levels can skyrocket. And there are a lot of things
- 21:02Speaker 4: actually holistically that you can do, and I know you
- 21:05Speaker 4: and I have talked about this. We use essential oils
- 21:08Speaker 4: to help detour the ticks from even crawling on us
- 21:12Speaker 4: or biting us. Things like that, and we're going to.
- 21:14Speaker 1: Bring a few of these up on the screen in
- 21:16Speaker 1: the spirit of being useful, but go ahead and write
- 21:18Speaker 1: these down or take a screenshot. But we're talking about
- 21:21Speaker 1: apricot oil, witch hazel. That's a big one. We're going
- 21:24Speaker 1: to be building our own cocktails at home. Wich hazel
- 21:27Speaker 1: is going to be one of the primary features of
- 21:29Speaker 1: these sprays that we're going to be making naturally and
- 21:31Speaker 1: holistically to keep them off of us this summer when
- 21:34Speaker 1: we go out into the woods to serve the children
- 21:36Speaker 1: at Whispering Ponies Ranch. Tea tree oil is another big deterrent.
- 21:39Speaker 1: They do not like tea treo oil. Lemongrass, geranium is
- 21:43Speaker 1: a huge one. And you can go on YouTube, you
- 21:45Speaker 1: can go anywhere where you watch social media. You can
- 21:48Speaker 1: find out videos. There's do it yourself, you know, DIY
- 21:51Speaker 1: videos on how to make your own sprays, oils, spreads, lotions,
- 21:56Speaker 1: and then you're going to want to write down cedar wood.
- 21:58Speaker 1: That's another one really popular or another. They're available in
- 22:01Speaker 1: all kinds of different combinations, or you can make one
- 22:04Speaker 1: that you feel resonates with you, maybe even pray about it.
- 22:06Speaker 1: But those are some really powerful natural deterrence for applying
- 22:10Speaker 1: to yourself topically your shoes, your clothes.
- 22:13Speaker 4: Sulfur powder is another one as sw.
- 22:15Speaker 1: Yeah, that's when you told me that you use on
- 22:17Speaker 1: your boots. That's really helped when you're out doing the
- 22:20Speaker 1: gardening and working in the soil. Ashley, getting back to
- 22:23Speaker 1: your journey, I think your journey is evidence that probably
- 22:26Speaker 1: foretells a lot of people asking this question. Well, I've
- 22:30Speaker 1: heard that alpha gel or. I went and looked it up,
- 22:32Speaker 1: and it looks like some people just get over it,
- 22:35Speaker 1: maybe very mild case, or maybe it just resolves over time.
- 22:39Speaker 1: In your case, you weren't so fortunate. No, and I
- 22:43Speaker 1: don't know if you view this in this framework. Do
- 22:47Speaker 1: you think that God allowed you to experience the I mean,
- 22:50Speaker 1: just short of death, really pushing that ceiling of the
- 22:54Speaker 1: experience because he knew that someday you would meet people
- 22:58Speaker 1: with a platform like this where you can talk to
- 23:00Speaker 1: hundreds of thousands of people that might be in your
- 23:02Speaker 1: shoes now as a surrogate for Hope. Yeah, because when
- 23:06Speaker 1: I look at your testimony, I think, man, this is
- 23:10Speaker 1: so familiar. God allows people to go through things. You
- 23:13Speaker 1: can't see it at the time, but it's because he's
- 23:15Speaker 1: preparing you to be a glimmer of hope, maybe the
- 23:19Speaker 1: one that pulls them out of the Babylonian construct, maybe
- 23:22Speaker 1: the one that has the story they latch onto, that
- 23:24Speaker 1: presents them with the hope that they needed in their
- 23:26Speaker 1: darkest hour. And maybe for them that's you today. You
- 23:30Speaker 1: haven't had this self resolving very quick six months stint.
- 23:34Speaker 1: You've had to continue working on your diet. How do
- 23:37Speaker 1: you feel today versus what you said seven years ago
- 23:41Speaker 1: this all started.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Yeah, it'll be seven years this July that I've had it.
- 23:46Speaker 2: You know, I had that minor you stint of not
- 23:49Speaker 2: having it for six months, but even in that moment,
- 23:53Speaker 2: we were still trying to maintain somewhat.
- 23:55Speaker 3: Of the stability of the diet that we were having. Today,
- 23:59Speaker 3: I feel great. You know.
- 24:01Speaker 2: I've maintained this diet for quite some time now. It's
- 24:05Speaker 2: part of my life, it's part of who we are
- 24:08Speaker 2: at home, And you're right. God does allow some of
- 24:11Speaker 2: us to go through trials that are a little bit
- 24:15Speaker 2: more extended than others so that we can reach out
- 24:18Speaker 2: and give hope to those people.
- 24:20Speaker 3: I don't think just that though.
- 24:22Speaker 2: For me and my experience with this, he showed me
- 24:26Speaker 2: that it was really time to take care of the
- 24:30Speaker 2: body that He had given me. It's no longer time
- 24:33Speaker 2: to just use it the way that you want to.
- 24:35Speaker 2: It's time to treat it as the temple that He
- 24:38Speaker 2: gave you.
- 24:39Speaker 3: Right And so in along the way, we found out
- 24:43Speaker 3: that you know, I.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Did have lupus. Now it's in remission. I had PCOS
- 24:49Speaker 2: and now it's in remission. And so by taking care
- 24:53Speaker 2: of my body, God healed it along the way.
- 24:57Speaker 3: And so but today I feel great.
- 25:00Speaker 1: I said this last week. We sit here and we
- 25:02Speaker 1: see a reoccurring pattern and I'm in that group as well.
- 25:05Speaker 1: If you go back to how heavy I was and
- 25:07Speaker 1: the abject disaster that my life felt at the time
- 25:10Speaker 1: we're talking about, you know, a decade or more ago,
- 25:13Speaker 1: with and they were testing me for They actually tested
- 25:16Speaker 1: me for limes. I came back very high side of meglavirus.
- 25:20Speaker 1: This isn't about me, and we've only got a couple
- 25:21Speaker 1: of minutes. But the point is, you can honestly see
- 25:24Speaker 1: where God used that desperate need to be well to
- 25:29Speaker 1: carve out all of this garbage from our lives. To learn,
- 25:33Speaker 1: like I'm sitting here listening to you talk about learning
- 25:35Speaker 1: to read labels. I mean, I wrote time Bomb in
- 25:38Speaker 1: twenty eighteen. What was I talking about? Read the labels?
- 25:41Speaker 2: Like?
- 25:41Speaker 1: You know? The only difference between you and me and
- 25:44Speaker 1: a whole bunch of other people is maybe they haven't
- 25:46Speaker 1: experienced their existential health crisis yet. But eighty percent of
- 25:50Speaker 1: Americans are walking around with what did I call it
- 25:52Speaker 1: ten years ago, almost a time bomb in their gut
- 25:56Speaker 1: that they're not even aware is percolating, or maybe they're
- 25:59Speaker 1: treating it with pharmaceuticals and it blew up way back
- 26:02Speaker 1: and they're suffering and they don't realize that it's diet related.
- 26:05Speaker 1: They don't know that they need their cruciferous vegetables, they
- 26:08Speaker 1: don't know that they need to detox their liver. They're
- 26:11Speaker 1: actually making it worse through the pharmaceutical interventions that they're on.
- 26:16Speaker 1: And so that's why this program exists, is we're here
- 26:18Speaker 1: to illuminate people's testimonies. And I told the Lord a
- 26:22Speaker 1: decade ago, I said, Lord, if you would restore my health,
- 26:24Speaker 1: which by the way, is not a one and done.
- 26:27Speaker 1: I never experienced what you see on TV sometime where
- 26:29Speaker 1: God just goes bing and man oh man, are you back.
- 26:33Speaker 1: It was this slow, pragmatic and today, ten years later,
- 26:37Speaker 1: I am no longer the man that I was. You
- 26:39Speaker 1: are no longer the human being that you were ten
- 26:42Speaker 1: years ago. At times you don't even feel like you
- 26:44Speaker 1: give an option to go back. You don't want to
- 26:46Speaker 1: go back, you would never go back, and in doing
- 26:48Speaker 1: that you're able to evangelize others and say, man, there
- 26:51Speaker 1: is really hope. But it's a long, pragmatic process. I
- 26:54Speaker 1: love the spontaneous healing. God can do it anytime he wants,
- 26:57Speaker 1: but I'm convinced that he often allows us. There's people
- 27:00Speaker 1: here today going through things that I believe they're going
- 27:03Speaker 1: to overcome. But it's that long, pragmatic process of learning
- 27:09Speaker 1: how your temple works yea, and fueling it for good
- 27:13Speaker 1: as opposed to sabotaging it in ignorance. Does that make sense?
- 27:16Speaker 4: Yeah, absolutely, Joe, I agree. I think during this time
- 27:27Speaker 4: where we are doing this health journey and we are
- 27:29Speaker 4: working on our bodies, it is a time of pruning,
- 27:33Speaker 4: a time of self examination and really seeking God and
- 27:36Speaker 4: refining us spiritually and physically as well.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Well. Ashley, we would love to have you back at
- 27:47Speaker 1: some point in the future, we'll check back in on
- 27:49Speaker 1: see how you're doing. For everybody in studio, for everybody
- 27:53Speaker 1: up here on panel, Ashley Jamie, thank you for being
- 27:55Speaker 1: here this week, right here on Life TV.
- 27:57Speaker 2: Now.
- 27:58Speaker 1: Unfortunately we're all out of time. Keep your eyes on
- 28:00Speaker 1: the prize, which is Jesus Christ. We'll be back.
- 28:06Speaker 2: H
