- 0:07Brian McFadden: I don't hear anything.
- 0:09Testecleese: Oh, that's terrible.
- 0:11Testecleese: Well, that's too good, I'll just stop that then. There's… there's a whole, metal song…
- 0:16Testecleese: I was hoping to play. Some guy made it with AI, and it's,
- 0:22Testecleese: Elon Musk is the vocalist, you got Uncle Sam on the guitar, JD Vance.
- 0:28Testecleese: On, like, the bass, and then Trump playing the drums, and the name of the song is Fappo, and it's about fucking around, and you're about to find out.
- 0:39Testecleese: Oh, well, anyway, I guess I blew the intro after such a strong effort last week with the Soviet National Anthem, but… Anyway, this is episode 309 of the Jeffrey and Brian Show. I'm Jeffrey.
- 0:52Brian McFadden: I'm Brian.
- 0:54Testecleese: And we're just two guys here talking about what's going on.
- 0:59Testecleese: It says great news in the headline, which made me think, I don't know if I want to read this article, but it still gave me the news. But, Carmelo Anthony will be facing the death sentence.
- 1:09Testecleese: At his trial.
- 1:12Testecleese: We haven't brought him up in a while. He was the young man that stabbed that other young man through the heart at a, like a trek and field event or something.
- 1:22Brian McFadden: Okay, good.
- 1:24Testecleese: Yeah, and, like, his family asked for a whole bunch of money, then went and bought themselves, like, a $1.5 million house or something like that.
- 1:31Testecleese: And…
- 1:32Brian McFadden: I can't view the article, because it wants me to download stuff to my computer.
- 1:36Brian McFadden: So…
- 1:37Testecleese: But yeah, the article just says he's gonna… he will be facing, the death penalty, and I'm like, oof.
- 1:42Testecleese: That's… That's unfortunate for that young man. As much as I think it's pretty clear what happened.
- 1:49Testecleese: I mean, the kid's like.
- 1:51Testecleese: Might not even be old enough to buy beer when he's sentenced to death, you know?
- 1:56Brian McFadden: Right.
- 1:58Testecleese: Alright,
- 2:01Testecleese: So, it looks like these, this trade with China is… but yeah, China, with Canada, is really affecting the Canadian economy right now.
- 2:10Testecleese: We get something like two-thirds of the goods they make.
- 2:15Testecleese: And Canada thought they could
- 2:19Testecleese: They had the upper hand in this discussion, you know?
- 2:23Testecleese: And it's starting to, yeah, it's starting to really cause a problem, because the auto manufacturers
- 2:28Testecleese: are just moving… reopening factories in the United States.
- 2:32Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 2:33Testecleese: Yeah, jobs are being lost. They said it's, worst they've seen besides the, pandemic in terms of, employment.
- 2:44Testecleese: So, yes, hoping we can find some kind of middle ground with Canada. They do have some goods that we like, besides maple syrup.
- 2:53Testecleese: You know, let's cut down the Canadian trees and build homes instead of cutting down American trees, right?
- 2:59Brian McFadden: Alright.
- 3:03Testecleese: And here we go, we brought this up a while ago, because Trump mentioned it in passing, at least that's what it seemed like, but he brought up a $200 dividend payment out of 10.
- 3:12Brian McFadden: 2000.
- 3:13Testecleese: 2K.
- 3:15Testecleese: What did I say?
- 3:16Brian McFadden: 200.
- 3:17Testecleese: Oh, my mistake, $2,000, tariff dividend, which… and it said everyone, not all taxpayers.
- 3:24Brian McFadden: Well, and the Treasury Secretary came out almost immediately and said, this will probably be in the form of a rebate on taxes, not an actual check, so…
- 3:34Testecleese: So, if you're not paying taxes, you're not getting any of this money.
- 3:37Brian McFadden: Riot.
- 3:39Testecleese: Alright, well, hey, I can respect that, honestly.
- 3:42Testecleese: That's unfortunate, because I…
- 3:45Brian McFadden: I had the money spent already.
- 3:50Testecleese: That's always a mistake.
- 3:56Testecleese: And we brought this up a while ago, and apparently it's happened, Brian. This is an eventful day.
- 4:02Brian McFadden: Trump said that…
- 4:03Testecleese: a mistake.
- 4:03Brian McFadden: Trump was, said this was gonna happen because pennies were costing more to make than there actually were, so…
- 4:11Testecleese: But does this mean that we can no longer charge $0.99, or does this mean…
- 4:16Brian McFadden: Oh, I mean, there's gonna be…
- 4:18Brian McFadden: There's still gonna be pennies in circulation before… during our lifetime. They're not going away anytime soon. Part of this problem is all the people that are collecting pennies at home because they don't want to deal with them.
- 4:29Brian McFadden: People have jars and jars of pennies.
- 4:33Testecleese: Yeah, I used to do the same thing, and yeah, you'd go cash them in and get, like, 300 bucks and pennies. Right. And this was back in the day before the coin stars existed. We, sat there and counted them and put them in rolls.
- 4:45Brian McFadden: Yeah, yeah, that's the only way you can turn them into a bank or credit union, is enroll, so you can't just walk in there with a jar.
- 4:51Testecleese: Yeah, and you learned quickly to put out stacks of, like, 10?
- 4:55Testecleese: And then just… then you make 5 that are the same height, and that's your roll.
- 5:00Testecleese: Yeah, but yeah, and you'd sit there for hours rolling them, then you'd go, yeah, get a couple hundred bucks out of pennies that have been in your pocket.
- 5:07Testecleese: Over the years.
- 5:08Brian McFadden: Apparently, they made some special ones, too, to commemorate the thing, so… that you can buy, too.
- 5:16Testecleese: That might be worth something. That might be worth a pretty penny.
- 5:19Brian McFadden: Exactly.
- 5:21Testecleese: Yeah, now you see why I put that as a title idea.
- 5:23Brian McFadden: I knew as soon as you put it in there what it went.
- 5:27Testecleese: Alright.
- 5:28Testecleese: You're like, oh, that's a little on-the-nose.
- 5:32Testecleese: and if… I read this story, I think you might have shared it.
- 5:38Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 5:40Testecleese: this is something that Trump predicted in his first term in office, right? And then brought it up again.
- 5:47Brian McFadden: Yeah, he told his… the Europeans to get off of,
- 5:51Brian McFadden: Russia oil and natural gas, you know.
- 5:56Brian McFadden: Yeah, for a bunch of reasons.
- 5:57Testecleese: and it's like, yeah, you need to stop being dependent on Russia.
- 6:00Testecleese: In general, and they all laughed at him, and it's like, okay, and then they went and invaded Ukraine, and all of them buying this fuel from Russia is funding the war.
- 6:09Brian McFadden: Yup.
- 6:10Testecleese: Which we'll get into in a min- in a while.
- 6:13Testecleese: But, Putin actually just, whereas I got down here.
- 6:21Testecleese: Oh, maybe I didn't share… maybe I didn't share it anyway. Putin just basically…
- 6:27Testecleese: issued bonds and yada yada for, like.
- 6:31Testecleese: A whole bunch of money to help pay for the war effort.
- 6:34Testecleese: Because, right now, Europe is cutting off Russia from buying their product.
- 6:40Testecleese: And, hey, who are they gonna buy natural gas from and oil from?
- 6:44Brian McFadden: Us?
- 6:45Testecleese: Yes! This sounds great, doesn't it?
- 6:49Brian McFadden: Yup.
- 6:51Testecleese: I still think, though, we should have a…
- 6:53Testecleese: Has Trump refilled the strategic reserve yet?
- 6:56Brian McFadden: I don't… I hadn't heard if he had or not.
- 6:59Testecleese: Neither have I, and I think he should get on this immediately.
- 7:03Testecleese: In fact, I would rather him take this $2,000 tariff dividend rebate thing
- 7:08Testecleese: And put it into refilling the reserve, because we need to have oil ready.
- 7:14Testecleese: Should war break out.
- 7:17Testecleese: You know, we don't… we shouldn't have to go find it and get it, you know?
- 7:21Brian McFadden: Right.
- 7:22Testecleese: And I don't know exactly how it's done, but I'm pretty sure they don't just have a…
- 7:27Testecleese: One warehouse full of a billion barrels of oil, right?
- 7:30Brian McFadden: Right.
- 7:31Testecleese: Yeah, so it's not like they're all gonna get blown up at once.
- 7:36Testecleese: So, okay, how was your weather the other day, dude?
- 7:41Brian McFadden: Freezing. Did we got snow flurries in the middle of the night.
- 7:45Testecleese: We got, about 8 inches of snow. It's mostly gone now, but an arctic blast came down, and…
- 7:52Testecleese: It got cold enough to knock iguanas out of trees in Florida.
- 7:56Brian McFadden: There were people actually taking pictures around here the last two nights of the, Aurora Barolas.
- 8:01Testecleese: Yeah, I was just gonna mention that. We were having a good look at it, too. We were pretty excited on the mountaintop.
- 8:06Testecleese: Which… I haven't brought it up in a while, but I think this is another sign that the polls are flipping, dude.
- 8:15Brian McFadden: I don't mess up GPS.
- 8:16Testecleese: Carry on, I need to handle something here.
- 8:18Brian McFadden: Alright.
- 8:19Brian McFadden: Yeah, I mean, Lorado, you know, pretty much the whole country got really cold this last week.
- 8:26Brian McFadden: And I just saw an article saying that there was going to be a warming this weekend for much of the country back in the more normal temperatures, because this is really early in the year for,
- 8:38Brian McFadden: frigid temperatures, especially here in Virginia.
- 8:43Testecleese: Yeah, I think before I went to bed… Not even before I went to bed, like, 9 PM, I saw 19 and a half degrees. I was like, oh, that's… that's chilly out there.
- 8:54Testecleese: And then watching my, Floridian mother-in-law Panic, because it was snowing.
- 8:59Brian McFadden: She didn't want to go out and play in it?
- 9:03Testecleese: Not even that. She's like, that pouch are gonna come by soon again, oh my god, look at this. I was like.
- 9:09Testecleese: it's probably not even snowing over the entire county, so we're actually focused here right now. This is as good as it's gonna get with plow coverage. I hope you know that. Like, we are in rural America.
- 9:20Brian McFadden: The last ones to get plows.
- 9:22Testecleese: When things go wrong.
- 9:24Testecleese: So I was like, yeah, I was like, so expect that when a real storm comes through.
- 9:28Testecleese: We might have to wait till you have 6 inches of snow for a plow to come through.
- 9:32Brian McFadden: Right.
- 9:33Testecleese: Which… You must have a four-wheel drive, period.
- 9:38Testecleese: And even in four-wheel drive, I wouldn't even try going down a mountain with 6 inches of snow on it, are you kidding me?
- 9:43Brian McFadden: No, not unless it's an emergency.
- 9:46Testecleese: Yeah, and you'd be going very slow.
- 9:48Brian McFadden: Yeah. And this is something I want to tell everyone who's.
- 9:51Testecleese: Didn't learn how to drive in the snow, and, you know, has gone into snowy areas.
- 9:58Testecleese: Four-wheel drive is not the answer. Four-wheel drive is great if you get stuck for getting out.
- 10:04Testecleese: But if you start slipping on the road, now instead of one tire spinning because of, like,
- 10:10Testecleese: positrack, rear end differentials, whatever you want to call it.
- 10:14Testecleese: instead of one tire slipping, you now have four tires slipping, and you start spinning in a circle across the road. And I'm sure you've seen this happen before out in Michigan, right?
- 10:24Testecleese: You guys probably did it on purpose, screwing around in parking lots, right?
- 10:27Brian McFadden: Oh yeah, definitely.
- 10:28Testecleese: Yeah, we did the same thing.
- 10:31Testecleese: Sure.
- 10:33Testecleese: Giuliani got pardoned.
- 10:36Brian McFadden: Yup.
- 10:38Brian McFadden: Trump's… there's been all kinds… all kinds of people are getting pardoned, so…
- 10:42Testecleese: Yeah, Giuliani was allegedly trying to overturn the election or something.
- 10:48Brian McFadden: Yeah. I mean, there's rumors that, Gazelle is asking for a commutation of her sentence.
- 10:57Testecleese: Okay.
- 10:59Testecleese: Daryl Strawberry got a pardon, too.
- 11:03Testecleese: That… He was a tax evasion, he's paid all of his back taxes, he served some time.
- 11:10Testecleese: I don't know, whatever. Use a baseball grate.
- 11:16Brian McFadden: Right.
- 11:20Testecleese: Okay, did you see this shit?
- 11:24Testecleese: Okay, remember that video we talked about with the FBI released about the J6 bomber?
- 11:31Brian McFadden: Yeah, yeah.
- 11:33Testecleese: And I said, I bet you it's a woman because of the way they bend or put something down instead of, like.
- 11:38Brian McFadden: Right, well, they used AI to, study the walk, the gate.
- 11:45Testecleese: Exactly, and it's something like a 94% match.
- 11:48Testecleese: No.
- 11:49Testecleese: With a former Capitol Police officer. She was a Capitol Police officer at the time, now CIA,
- 11:56Testecleese: I am not…
- 11:57Testecleese: saying this woman's name, because I don't have any evidence that this person… this actually… she's not even being accused.
- 12:04Brian McFadden: Right. And I don't… have you noticed a lot of these podcasts are coming right out and saying she's the bomber?
- 12:11Testecleese: I'm like.
- 12:11Brian McFadden: No, that was a lot of…
- 12:14Testecleese: Yeah. I don't live there.
- 12:15Brian McFadden: A lot of different podcasts, so…
- 12:17Testecleese: It's true, true.
- 12:20Testecleese: But we'll see where this goes, and I just thought it was crazy, because that story came out, and then immediately after, someone had to publish. We still have no idea who the J6 pipe bomber was.
- 12:30Brian McFadden: Of course, yeah, they're trying to cover their butts.
- 12:32Testecleese: Hmm.
- 12:37Testecleese: You see this 50-year mortgage shit Trump floated?
- 12:40Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 12:42Testecleese: What do you think of it?
- 12:43Brian McFadden: Well, the numbers I was looking at doesn't look like it really lowered the monthly mortgage payment down that much, you know, and it created a ton more interest, so it's great for the banks and the mortgage companies, because it's going to make them more profitable, but for the average homeowner, I don't think it's making that big a difference.
- 13:01Testecleese: Even your monthly bill doesn't go down by much.
- 13:03Brian McFadden: No! The numbers I saw went down by maybe 100 bucks.
- 13:08Testecleese: Well, 100 bucks out of what?
- 13:11Testecleese: Out of a $700 a month payment, or a $2,500 a month payment, you know?
- 13:19Testecleese: Because I was like, geez, I was like…
- 13:22Testecleese: 50 in Morgan sounds crazy, because I did a little bit of math on my own.
- 13:27Testecleese: And I saw it's gonna be 36 years before you even start paying principal on that loan.
- 13:35Brian McFadden: Here's a… let me bring up the 50-year mortgage calculator.
- 13:40Brian McFadden: They have… well, I think I've been scammed on that.
- 13:45Brian McFadden: There's no such… This is where I was…
- 13:47Testecleese: for when I was hearing that, it was supposed to make the monthly payment go way down, you just had to pay it forever.
- 13:54Testecleese: Problem is, not just is the bank gonna make a butt-ton of money out of interest.
- 13:58Testecleese: You're not gonna pay it off.
- 14:02Testecleese: And when you die, the bank is owed
- 14:05Testecleese: The amount of the… the rest of the money on the house, or the house back, right?
- 14:10Brian McFadden: Right.
- 14:12Testecleese: So, yeah, it sounds like the banks could make a ton of money out of this, over the…
- 14:16Testecleese: over the decades.
- 14:20Brian McFadden: I'm…
- 14:22Brian McFadden: So, I did AI, I used AI, and basically, a 30-year fixed mortgage for a loan amount of $369,600 at a 6.33 interest rate.
- 14:34Brian McFadden: Your monthly payment would be $22.95. For 50 years, for the same amount, with a little bit higher interest rate, 6.83, you're gonna pay $21.76.
- 14:46Brian McFadden: So you're saving That's what I'm talking about. It's not…
- 14:50Brian McFadden: Because they're saying the interest rate on a 50-year mortgage is going to be typically higher.
- 14:56Testecleese: I know, it just… it sounds like it's two, two-thirds as much…
- 15:00Testecleese: longer? You'd think you'd only be paying two-thirds as much a month.
- 15:04Brian McFadden: Yeah, exactly. Yeah, but the math isn't adding up.
- 15:09Brian McFadden: It's not worth it for saving 120 bucks a month.
- 15:14Testecleese: No, you're right.
- 15:16Testecleese: And that was the first thing I thought was, this is a great way for the banks to make a ton of money, and then no one's ever actually full-out pay for their house. Like, their kids are either gonna have to figure out how to pay for it, or they have to give it back to the bank. And then I thought, shit, though, I could do a 50-year mortgage on a plot of undeveloped land.
- 15:32Testecleese: Rented out to hikers, campers, hunters.
- 15:36Testecleese: year-round.
- 15:39Testecleese: And that would bring it up to pay the mortgage, if the mortgage itself would only be two-thirds of what it would have been anyway.
- 15:44Testecleese: But yeah, if it's only gonna be a hundred-something bucks cheaper, why not just do the 30-year, and…
- 15:51Testecleese: Maybe finally own it one day, you know?
- 15:53Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 15:57Testecleese: That's unfortunate.
- 15:58Testecleese: I was just looking at, like, 100-acre plots, too.
- 16:02Testecleese: just in case this went through, I was like, I see a way to make money out of this. Especially, I was, you know, you buy the land.
- 16:08Testecleese: And even if you don't want to do it forever, you sell it off in 5 to 10 years, the price of property has only gone up.
- 16:18Testecleese: This Navy vet parking lot thing, I thought this was, like, solved.
- 16:23Testecleese: Like, I thought they'd put these guys in jail or something.
- 16:25Brian McFadden: They're… well, I don't know if they're in jail yet, but they're… they're still arresting people and indicting people on it, so…
- 16:31Testecleese: They're basically just robbing them at the ATM.
- 16:34Brian McFadden: Yep. Now, sometimes it's not even an ATM, sometimes it's just in the parking lot, and they're asking to use the people's phone, and then taking out loans while they're on the phone, and then transferring the money to their account.
- 16:45Testecleese: Huh?
- 16:47Testecleese: Yeah, you gotta have some kind of per…
- 16:50Testecleese: You gotta have some kind of security on your bank account on your phone, right?
- 16:53Brian McFadden: Yup.
- 16:56Testecleese: Oh, but you need my fingerprint to get into my phone. Yeah, and you think… you think they're making a phone call, and you just handed it off to someone.
- 17:03Brian McFadden: Yep.
- 17:04Testecleese: Man.
- 17:06Testecleese: Yeah, I got passwords on everything like that, on top of my getting into my phone stuff, you know?
- 17:12Brian McFadden: Right.
- 17:13Testecleese: I'm sure you do too, because you're just as aware as I how easy it is
- 17:17Testecleese: For passwords to get figured out.
- 17:20Brian McFadden: as much as I hate two-factor authentication, you know…
- 17:24Testecleese: Yeah.
- 17:26Brian McFadden: So, there was a bomb threat today, a bomb threat investigation underway at the Virginia Beach Courthouse.
- 17:33Testecleese: Not much of an article, it basically just said it happened.
- 17:36Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 17:37Testecleese: I'm wondering what cases were being heard at that time.
- 17:41Brian McFadden: Right. And then, in more exciting news,
- 17:45Brian McFadden: The, Virginia State Police, were responding to a call of someone walking down I-264,
- 17:54Brian McFadden: And when they… when one of them caught up to her and was talking to her, she refused to get off the highway and tried to run away from the cops, and when the cops caught up to her and started to arrest her, she pepper sprayed them.
- 18:08Testecleese: That probably didn't end well for her, did it?
- 18:11Brian McFadden: No, they all went to the hospital.
- 18:14Brian McFadden: And the charges are pending, so not only is she gonna be charged with, you know, being a pet pedestrian on a highway, and resisting arrest.
- 18:22Testecleese: And now she assaulted officers.
- 18:24Brian McFadden: Yes.
- 18:28Testecleese: Yeah, it's not a… that's…
- 18:30Testecleese: Again, what's gonna happen? Is she gonna turn out to have been on drugs, or…
- 18:35Testecleese: Did something traumatic just happen? She didn't know where she was and what was going on, you know?
- 18:39Brian McFadden: I don't know, we don't know that much information yet on it, so…
- 18:43Testecleese: Yeah.
- 18:45Brian McFadden: Too soon to tell.
- 18:46Testecleese: Bunch of… bunch of crazy shit going on in West Virginia.
- 18:50Testecleese: I want to bring up one verse that you shared, which I thought was hilarious, that West Virginia is, the most diabetic state.
- 18:59Testecleese: Which doesn't surprise me, because I think it was, like, 2 weeks ago, I brought up how it's the most overweight state, too.
- 19:05Brian McFadden: Right?
- 19:10Testecleese: But check this out. I read this story about… they're talking about building this $2.5 billion natural gas plant that's supposed to create a bunch of jobs, and they didn't, you know…
- 19:20Testecleese: yadda yadda yadda, and I was like, oh, alright, you know, if you've got somewhere to put it.
- 19:25Testecleese: Create some jobs, and then sell the power from the power plant, bring in some taxes, that's gonna help everyone.
- 19:31Brian McFadden: Right.
- 19:32Testecleese: And I was kind of excited thinking about this, you know, as long as you don't have to, you know, cut down the gorgeous.
- 19:37Testecleese: mountains. So then I read this other article that this guy said, I hope the rest of West Virginia's watching, and I assumed he was gonna say, you're gonna cut down our trees and ruin our views and etc.
- 19:48Testecleese: Turns out they're building this PowerPoint just to power a data center they want to build.
- 19:54Testecleese: Yeah, and I was like, ew.
- 19:56Testecleese: So, yeah, for, like, storage or something, I was like, oh, that's… so you're gonna tear down…
- 20:01Testecleese: Dozens of acres to create this power plant and facility.
- 20:06Testecleese: And it's…
- 20:07Brian McFadden: Just for one place.
- 20:09Testecleese: Yeah, to go… exactly. It's not even going to be able to help bring down the cost of power for the West Virginians, you know?
- 20:17Testecleese: So, we'll see where that goes. I'm sure this will be in the news cycle. It's not as easy to keep up on local news around here.
- 20:26Testecleese: But I'll make an effort. One story I was able to keep up with since this started, a, next county over from me, there was a mine collapse, like, 260 feet below ground.
- 20:38Testecleese: It wasn't even necessarily a collapse, like, an old wall had broken down and flooded the mines.
- 20:44Brian McFadden: Yeah, there was water on the other side, so…
- 20:47Testecleese: Yeah, guy was missing for days, and…
- 20:52Testecleese: He was finally found dead.
- 20:55Testecleese: His body was recovered,
- 20:58Testecleese: He managed to get the rest of his crew out, though.
- 21:02Testecleese: You know, and he was a, what would you say to something, a 20-year veteran of coal mining?
- 21:07Brian McFadden: Yep.
- 21:09Testecleese: I don't know what kind of life insurance policies these,
- 21:15Testecleese: I'm assuming the mining company has a life insurance policy on all.
- 21:19Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 21:19Testecleese: Right?
- 21:19Brian McFadden: Yeah, because it'd probably be next to impossible to get a personal life insurance policy as a coal miner.
- 21:26Testecleese: Yeah, who's going to… I'll take that liability on! Yeah.
- 21:32Brian McFadden: Yeah, yeah, you probably can't even get an accidental death policy, because odds are, it's a coal miner, that's the way you're gonna go.
- 21:40Testecleese: Yeah, exactly. If you juggle sharp machetes for a living, good luck getting insurance, right?
- 21:45Brian McFadden: Exactly, yeah.
- 21:47Testecleese: This is the second… fatal cave-in or coal mining issue that's happened since I've moved here.
- 21:55Testecleese: I mean, I knew it was a dangerous job, but I didn't real…
- 21:59Testecleese: I didn't realize it was this common, but I mean, I guess that makes sense. It's… our technology can only get so graded
- 22:05Testecleese: Pulling stuff out of the ground. Sooner or later, something's gonna shift, right?
- 22:11Testecleese: Book.
- 22:13Testecleese: It's too bad, and anyone saying you shouldn't be mining coal anyway, then I hope you unplug your computer, because it's plugged into the wall that's being powered by coal.
- 22:22Testecleese: Check this out. Study came out. West Virginia is the second most dangerous, state to drive in.
- 22:31Brian McFadden: Okay.
- 22:32Testecleese: In the rain or the snow, and that's gotta be because of the mountain curves.
- 22:36Brian McFadden: Probably.
- 22:38Testecleese: I didn't even bother reading the whole article, because I didn't care to see who number one was.
- 22:43Testecleese: It's probably something like Colorado or Alaska, you know what I mean?
- 22:49Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 22:50Testecleese: Yeah. But yeah, I thought that was kind of neat.
- 22:53Testecleese: Really are in the middle of nowhere, and everyone's dying, and there's no way to get anywhere.
- 23:01Testecleese: Speaking of people dying, they have this passport program, Go Ski West Virginia. It's, like, 40 bucks, and you get a season ticket to, like, 4 different big ski resorts in West Virginia, but it's only for, like, 4th and 5th graders.
- 23:17Brian McFadden: Well, you know why that is, right?
- 23:19Testecleese: Well, you get the kids excited about skiing when they're young, and then it costs a.
- 23:22Brian McFadden: Well, that, and parents have to go skiing with the kids, so even if the kids are going for free, the parents have to buy ski passes and rent skis to go skiing to watch the kids, so…
- 23:34Testecleese: Well, Snowshoe Mountain is one of the mountains on this list.
- 23:38Brian McFadden: I've skied there.
- 23:39Testecleese: Snowshoe's only an hour away from me.
- 23:42Testecleese: Like, I could go every weekend with my daughter when she gets old enough, if she wanted to do that. And if you go and skiing that often.
- 23:51Testecleese: you're gonna buy yourself a season pass, too, right? At full… at whatever the price is, $250.
- 23:56Brian McFadden: And you probably own your own gear, because there's no way you're renting every time you go.
- 24:00Brian McFadden: Right.
- 24:01Testecleese: And I… I do have my own ski gear.
- 24:05Testecleese: But I think my brother stole my really nice ski boots, and I'm upset, because I have, like, my… my poles, my, skis.
- 24:12Testecleese: And check this out, this was skis right before they made all skis parabolic. My… I actually had straight… I have straight skis. They're very difficult to find these days.
- 24:22Testecleese: But yeah, my boots are gone.
- 24:24Testecleese: Pretty sure he jacked him when I was away with the Navy.
- 24:30Testecleese: Whatever, they were just really nice ski boots.
- 24:33Testecleese: I'm sure you've been skiing a bunch of times, you know how all that stuff works, right?
- 24:38Brian McFadden: Yeah, yeah. Back in the day, I can't really do it anymore, I'm getting too old, and my knees don't like it.
- 24:44Testecleese: That's what I'm worried about, dude. Last time I went skiing…
- 24:47Testecleese: I was up at Jay Peak in Vermont, and I was doing triple black diamonds.
- 24:53Testecleese: You know, we used to go skiing all the time in New England, obviously, right?
- 24:56Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 24:58Testecleese: And, oh, it was so great, though, like, doing Moguls in the Glades.
- 25:02Testecleese: And now I'm like, if I try to do something like that, my knee would explode, and I would impale my face on a tree, and I would die like a fucking Kennedy, you know?
- 25:09Brian McFadden: Or a bono.
- 25:16Testecleese: alright, alright.
- 25:20Testecleese: Oh, this is interesting.
- 25:23Testecleese: There's more sports stuff coming up with rigging of these games. And this is baseball this time, right?
- 25:32Brian McFadden: Yeah, Cleveland.
- 25:34Brian McFadden: Well, it used to be the Indians, but now they're the Guardians.
- 25:38Testecleese: Yeah. Do you remember several years ago it was brought up that all these sports are all staged and none of this shit's real anymore?
- 25:45Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 25:45Testecleese: Everyone's going nuts for a while about it.
- 25:48Testecleese: Now all the… now we keep finding out all the athletes themselves are, like, rigging these games for bets.
- 25:55Brian McFadden: Yeah, the prop bets.
- 25:58Testecleese: Yeah.
- 25:59Testecleese: Makes you wonder if you can trust it.
- 26:02Testecleese: Are you actually watching a hockey game or not?
- 26:06Testecleese: Which, I haven't heard the NHL accused of anything yet, but…
- 26:12Testecleese: I did get to watch a Bruins game the other day.
- 26:18Testecleese: Okay.
- 26:20Testecleese: So, Trump went to a game in D.C. Yup.
- 26:24Testecleese: AC, right?
- 26:27Brian McFadden: Yeah, it was in DC. Yeah, it was the Washington Lions game. I watched the game.
- 26:32Brian McFadden: There were more Lions fans there than there were Washington fans.
- 26:39Testecleese: I'm not surprised. The 10 kind of people that live in DC don't seem like professional football kind of people, you know what I mean?
- 26:46Brian McFadden: Glad and the team's the way.
- 26:48Brian McFadden: They got a lot of injuries, and they've only won 3 games this season, so…
- 26:52Testecleese: Wow.
- 26:53Testecleese: But from what I understand, Trump got a lot of boos, right?
- 26:56Brian McFadden: From the… not from the Lions fans, but from the Redskins fans.
- 27:01Testecleese: And you have every right to boot the president, which lets you know right there, it's not some kind of dictatorship, right?
- 27:07Brian McFadden: Yup.
- 27:08Testecleese: But what pissed me off was he was swearing people into the military, and they kept booing right through it.
- 27:14Brian McFadden: Yeah, yeah.
- 27:16Brian McFadden: And Trump even talked about that during… when he was up in the broadcast booth in the third quarter. He's like, yeah, that was uncalled for, you know.
- 27:24Brian McFadden: Booing me is one thing, but booing these people are about to go off and, you know, risk their lives in the military is a whole other thing.
- 27:31Testecleese: And even if you didn't like the president, if you're signing up for the service and the president himself is swearing.
- 27:36Brian McFadden: I'm gonna be… I'm doing it, I'm doing it.
- 27:38Testecleese: That is an honor!
- 27:40Brian McFadden: Yeah, because not very many people are going to be able to say they were sworn into the military by the President of the United States.
- 27:46Testecleese: Yeah! Like, I wasn't an Obama fan in general, he was when I started to finally realize the Democrats had been misleading me and lying to me.
- 27:55Brian McFadden: Huh.
- 27:56Testecleese: But if Obama had offered to sign my papers for re-enlistment, I'd have been so excited to have the president do that, you know?
- 28:04Brian McFadden: Yup.
- 28:05Testecleese: And the… Like I said, on Veterans Day, they were booing through people being sworn into the military.
- 28:12Brian McFadden: Yeah, yeah.
- 28:13Testecleese: Why hasn't this not been the news? Why hasn't this blown up every podcast, every conversation?
- 28:22Testecleese: Because Republicans suck at messaging.
- 28:25Brian McFadden: Yeah. But they're good… the White House is pretty good at messaging, because they're once again trolling the DC media by saying that they think that the new Commander Stadium should be named after Trump.
- 28:38Testecleese: Oh, that was hilarious.
- 28:39Brian McFadden: Yeah, you know that as one big troll.
- 28:42Testecleese: White House, though, I think Trump knew Enough.
- 28:47Testecleese: That if he wants to appeal to these young…
- 28:50Testecleese: Younger people, he needs younger people to do it.
- 28:54Testecleese: You know what I mean? Like, Nancy Pelosi's not gonna be able to tell you
- 28:58Testecleese: How to get a white 18- to 25-year-old dude to vote her way.
- 29:03Testecleese: She just, she just can't.
- 29:05Testecleese: So I'm betting you that these… I swear Donald Trump went out and hired the Twitter guy from, the guy who handles social media accounts for Wendy's to start doing their social media, you know?
- 29:20Testecleese: And you know what I'm talking about, the Wendy stuff has been hilarious over the years.
- 29:24Brian McFadden: Yeah, yeah.
- 29:26Testecleese: But yeah, but that's the thing, though, is the White House is different than the Republican Party, and you know that.
- 29:31Brian McFadden: Yeah, oh yeah, definitely.
- 29:32Testecleese: MAGA is still a rift in the Republican Party, even though most of the Republicans have finally realized it's a winning team anyway, you know?
- 29:42Brian McFadden: Yep.
- 29:43Testecleese: Speaking of, though, what's gonna happen when Trump's not on the ticket anymore?
- 29:48Testecleese: midterm, are people gonna show up to vote? Next president, are people gonna show up to vote?
- 29:54Brian McFadden: That's a good question. Depends on,
- 29:58Brian McFadden: who the Republicans decide to run as president, what kind of charisma the person has, and…
- 30:04Testecleese: run J.D. Vance unless something crazy happens.
- 30:07Testecleese: You know that as well as I do.
- 30:09Brian McFadden: And then also, you know, it's just a matter of, you know, how Trump feels about the candidate, you know? If he gets behind him and campaigns for him, it's gonna help him…
- 30:19Brian McFadden: Bring in the mag of those, so…
- 30:22Testecleese: Yeah.
- 30:24Testecleese: Yeah, maybe, maybe.
- 30:26Testecleese: I just… I noticed that at midterm last time.
- 30:30Testecleese: the Republicans didn't show up to vote, because Trump wasn't on the ticket. And it might not have been the Republicans not showing up, actually. I bet you the Republicans did show up. It was all the libertarians and the disaffected liberals that didn't bother to show up, because Trump wasn't on the ticket.
- 30:45Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 30:45Testecleese: You know what I mean?
- 30:48Testecleese: I mean, how many people do you know?
- 30:50Testecleese: Or at least aren't… I'm sure you know a couple, but I'm sure you've seen thousands of stories of people saying.
- 30:55Testecleese: that they just had enough of the Democrat Party
- 30:59Testecleese: And at least check out the other guys, you know?
- 31:02Brian McFadden: Right.
- 31:06Testecleese: Alright.
- 31:07Testecleese: The BBC, This took long enough, right?
- 31:10Brian McFadden: Yep, heard a…
- 31:12Testecleese: What's going on?
- 31:14Brian McFadden: They did… they followed CBS's example early on, and they did a,
- 31:20Brian McFadden: a misleading edit of a Trump speech. They basically… this is from January 6th speech, where they took part of his speech.
- 31:30Brian McFadden: from earlier in the day and an hour later, and put them together to make it sound like Trump was telling everybody to, march on down to the Capitol building and fight, fight, fight.
- 31:40Testecleese: Yeah, and they specifically cut out, peacefully, make your voice heard. Exactly, they cut it up and…
- 31:47Testecleese: Yeah, I… was it, yeah, almost an hour, right? Apart of pieces they took and stuck together to make it sound like it was…
- 31:54Brian McFadden: Trump threatened to sue him up for a billion dollars, and big, big surprise, they apologized real fast.
- 32:01Brian McFadden: And the people who…
- 32:02Testecleese: That were in charge of this.
- 32:04Testecleese: Editing thing, they all quit over this.
- 32:07Testecleese: Which, okay, they resigned. You know that…
- 32:10Testecleese: You know what happened, was they said, you can resign now, or, you get fired.
- 32:15Testecleese: you know, what should you rather put on your resume for your next job? I got fired, or I resigned over creative differences, you know?
- 32:29Testecleese: And I don't know why, but I guess there's some honor to admitting your fault and resigning, as opposed to being fired?
- 32:36Brian McFadden: Yeah, yeah.
- 32:39Testecleese: I mean, I guess… Seems very old school, doesn't it?
- 32:46Testecleese: Alright.
- 32:48Testecleese: It's funny, you shared this article, and I shared, I shared the same one -oh.
- 32:55Testecleese: Like, the day before.
- 32:58Testecleese: This, teacher… oh, what ridiculous class was it called?
- 33:03Testecleese: The school is ridiculous. It's the local chapter of the American Association of University Professors.
- 33:09Testecleese: IU School of Social Worker, Social.
- 33:15Brian McFadden: Okay. Yeah, right?
- 33:16Testecleese: Hmm.
- 33:17Testecleese: Yeah.
- 33:18Testecleese: But she said that MAGA is another word for white supremacy, and she was going on and on.
- 33:25Testecleese: And, she had a whole bunch of words that were no longer allowed to be said because they're racist, like a boot…
- 33:31Testecleese: Strap theory.
- 33:34Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 33:35Testecleese: You know, the idea that you can actually just work and get ahead, any kind of anti-immigration policies, paternalism, okay, Eurocentric… Eurocentric Eurocentric curricula
- 33:48Testecleese: English-only, initiatives, Please killing anyone who isn't white is racist.
- 33:57Testecleese: Denial of your white privilege, denial of racism, celebrating Columbus Day.
- 34:04Testecleese: Fearing people of color.
- 34:07Testecleese: Expecting people of color to teach white people.
- 34:10Testecleese: First of all.
- 34:12Testecleese: If I don't expect people of color to teach white people, that means we're not allowed to have any people of color teaching
- 34:19Testecleese: in school, right?
- 34:21Brian McFadden: Right,
- 34:22Testecleese: But she said colorblindness is also racist.
- 34:27Brian McFadden: You can't have.
- 34:28Testecleese: that we're just one human.
- 34:30Testecleese: But that's the thing, it…
- 34:33Testecleese: Let me… let me see if I can find the exact reason why she was high, because they went, oh, you know what?
- 34:39Testecleese: they went through how she got hired and the article you had shared, and I didn't bother sharing it, because most of them were the same thing. That stinks, I should have put them both in here. But it had a list of what, like, what her job was. It was, like, knowledge of the interracial, inter blah blah blah blah blah, and basically went into, this whole crazy theory of
- 34:58Testecleese: power, prejudice… Hierarchies.
- 35:04Testecleese: So, yeah, one of the students contacted a senator and is like, she said I'm not allowed to be a white guy who supports a Trump, and that I'm automatically evil.
- 35:14Testecleese: And it turns out that violates a whole bunch of the school's policies and federal law.
- 35:20Brian McFadden: Right.
- 35:23Testecleese: But now she's screaming that everyone's racist for calling her out, for calling everyone racist.
- 35:29Brian McFadden: Of course.
- 35:31Testecleese: Self-fulfilling prophecy here, right?
- 35:33Brian McFadden: Yep.
- 35:38Testecleese: And I shared this one for you. Did you get a chance to read it? I know how much you like your Vue article ever.
- 35:44Testecleese: every week.
- 35:48Testecleese: We could talk about how, Sonny Austin's been missing for a couple weeks, or a week, and Whoopi finally addressed why, which…
- 35:56Testecleese: we really can't, because I saw that article, like, 4 times and skipped it.
- 36:03Testecleese: Anyway… the view's all upset that, Newsom was talking about the midterm election getting rigged, because Trump wants…
- 36:12Brian McFadden: Germany?
- 36:13Testecleese: Supervision at certain election sites.
- 36:16Testecleese: Huh?
- 36:17Brian McFadden: And Jeremy…
- 36:18Testecleese: Gerrymandering. He wants people there to debate… not even gerrymandering.
- 36:21Testecleese: He wants.
- 36:23Testecleese: Trump wants someone at certain polling stations
- 36:27Testecleese: To make sure no one's showing up with boxes full of ballots.
- 36:31Testecleese: In, like, 3 states. And the Democrats are flipping out about how this is gonna change the election results.
- 36:37Brian McFadden: Well, of course it is, because they're not going to put any of their boxes of ballots! Yeah.
- 36:42Testecleese: Yeah, I was like, unless you actually are cheating, how is this gonna change the election results? Like, are you guys, like, doing dual-slit experiments?
- 36:50Testecleese: in these… Booths, and by simply observing it, you're changing the reality around it.
- 36:56Testecleese: You're not familiar with the dual slit experiment, are you?
- 36:59Brian McFadden: No.
- 37:02Testecleese: Quick little cover-up, because it's a fascinating thing.
- 37:06Testecleese: comes from Einsteinian relativity.
- 37:09Testecleese: But they were trying to find out if light was a wave or a particle.
- 37:14Testecleese: So they set up, two slits in, like, a wall, basically, and shot light beams at it, and measured what showed up on the other side.
- 37:22Testecleese: And if they did it, and didn't watch where, like, exactly what was happening, it would show up with a wave pattern of, like, they would overlap.
- 37:31Testecleese: Between the, you know, when they come off the other side of the slits.
- 37:34Testecleese: But when they watched it happen, they had a specific spot where the light particle Heh.
- 37:41Brian McFadden: Okay.
- 37:42Testecleese: Observing it, it goes down to, like, a quantum theory of, everything's all waveforms until there's a measurement.
- 37:51Testecleese: Schrodinger's cat, it's alive and dead until you open it up and find out.
- 37:56Testecleese: Tree falls in the woods and there's no one around to hear, it doesn't make a sound.
- 38:02Testecleese: all the same general theory there. But… but yeah, anyway, the simple act of observing the dual-slitter experiment
- 38:10Testecleese: changes the outcome. That makes me wonder, is this how they're voting?
- 38:14Testecleese: Is how else… Is someone watching the vote going to, yep, perfected the vote.
- 38:23Testecleese: You think in your private little booth, someone's gonna come in there and, like, rip you out and shoot you in the head for voting the wrong way?
- 38:30Brian McFadden: No.
- 38:31Testecleese: You got a little curtain behind you, don't you?
- 38:34Brian McFadden: No.
- 38:36Testecleese: When you vote, you don't get a little curtain behind? Oh.
- 38:38Brian McFadden: We just got little… we got little walls, and we're… and we take our bow, and we throw it… put it in the Scantron.
- 38:45Testecleese: Yeah, I was gonna say, I…
- 38:48Testecleese: Last several times I've done a present… a vote, it's been, you feel your vote out sitting at a table.
- 38:56Testecleese: And then you go put it in a Scantron.
- 38:58Brian McFadden: Yup.
- 39:00Testecleese: I do remember, though, walking in, pulling the curtain behind me, filling in the bubbles, and then… No, when I was in high school.
- 39:07Brian McFadden: Lead the weed out of that way.
- 39:11Testecleese: I think when I first moved to Massachusetts, I voted that way. I filled it out by hand behind the thing, and then… and then fed it into the Scantron.
- 39:20Brian McFadden: And when I first was doing it, we had a machine, you just went and pulled levers, and it tallied the votes up, and you never had a piece of paper or anything.
- 39:29Testecleese: It's crazy, here in West Virginia, when I voted.
- 39:33Testecleese: It was just a big open room with, like, a fold-out table. You would have, like, a picnic. Like, you know, the white ones with the legs that come out.
- 39:40Brian McFadden: Hmm…
- 39:41Testecleese: And you would go get a ballot, you check your name in, whatever, they verify your identity, or whatever. You take your ballot and go sit… there's one big table, and fill in your votes, just sit next to whoever else happened, might… might be there.
- 39:55Testecleese: And the wife at the time was like, how… this seems kind of like it's not private. I was like.
- 40:00Testecleese: It's like…
- 40:02Testecleese: 30 people who vote here. Chances of them all being here at the same time is very low.
- 40:08Brian McFadden: Right.
- 40:11Testecleese: Yeah. Yeah, and I remember asking about one of the particular things, and asking her, like, well, what exactly am I voting on here?
- 40:19Testecleese: She's like, well, what's your view? And I explained it to her, and I was like.
- 40:23Testecleese: I thought… I thought this was the whole thing we were supposed to be trying to avoid, was me trying to have to explain my view on a vote.
- 40:28Brian McFadden: Right.
- 40:29Testecleese: Whatever. Whatever.
- 40:32Testecleese: It's all a bunch of frickin', Trump derangement syndrome.
- 40:36Testecleese: And here's the question, did the TDS lead to the propaganda, or did the propaganda lead to the TDS?
- 40:43Brian McFadden: Probably the propaganda led to the TDS.
- 40:47Testecleese: They made us think he was some kind of Soviet asset before it even got started.
- 40:51Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 40:55Testecleese: I didn't share this one, it might have been you a report, or it must have been you or Corp.
- 40:59Brian McFadden: I did. Yeah, well, Billy Bob Wharton came out and said.
- 41:03Brian McFadden: He doesn't care about award shows anymore, he thinks they're stupid, a waste of time, and he wants to keep politics out of them. That's…
- 41:11Brian McFadden: And that might be one of the main reasons why people don't watch them anymore, is because…
- 41:17Brian McFadden: You know, there's two sides to every political view, and we don't really care what the actors think, because they're actors.
- 41:24Brian McFadden: We just care about whether they're good actors or not.
- 41:28Testecleese: Yeah, like, and you know what? If you want to put your political views out there, start a… this day and age, start a podcast.
- 41:36Testecleese: Right? People that want to hear a political view can tune into it, but you can still go to your show and thank your producers and, you know, all the little people along the way who went and got me a sandwich when we were recording or something, you know?
- 41:49Brian McFadden: Yup.
- 41:49Testecleese: Instead of, I think we should all just light Donald Trump supporters on fire, you know?
- 41:55Brian McFadden: Right.
- 41:59Testecleese: Alright.
- 42:01Testecleese: Oh.
- 42:03Testecleese: This is a different school, but… that we talked about before, but this is the third time a TPU chapter has tried to start at one of these California schools, and it's been denied a third time.
- 42:13Brian McFadden: This is a Christian school too, right?
- 42:15Testecleese: It… I… Same school.
- 42:17Brian McFadden: Point… Point Loma Nazarene. It's a Catholic… Catholic university.
- 42:22Testecleese: Why would a Catholic school not allow Conservative opinions into their school.
- 42:28Brian McFadden: they're saying that the views of TPU USA do not reflect the, university.
- 42:39Testecleese: I think maybe the schools… the university, it's a Catholic school, they must not be paying attention to what Charlie Kirk and TPU, TPUSA have actually done, because he's constantly…
- 42:50Testecleese: explaining his answers and his views and opinions on what Jesus said and did.
- 43:00Testecleese: To the point that people actually got offended by it a lot.
- 43:03Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 43:05Testecleese: But yeah, I just, I don't know, I thought it was crazy. How many times are these kids gonna try?
- 43:10Brian McFadden: They were already rejected twice in 2021, so same school.
- 43:15Testecleese: Man, this one just got shut down again, right?
- 43:20Testecleese: Yeah, third one got denied, too.
- 43:24Testecleese: I don't know, I mean, are they gonna keep trying? Because, you know, screw you, or…
- 43:29Testecleese: Are they gonna be beating a submission in California?
- 43:33Brian McFadden: I don't know.
- 43:39Testecleese: I think you shared this one too, Joe Rogan thing?
- 43:42Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 43:43Testecleese: That's… yeah. Did you actually listen to, like, any of that part of the show?
- 43:49Brian McFadden: No, not this one, no, but he… I've heard his views on this before.
- 43:54Brian McFadden: You know, I was actually listening to the episode with Charlie Sheen when Charlie was shot.
- 44:00Testecleese: I wasn't listening to it when that happened, but I saw it within 12 hours.
- 44:05Brian McFadden: I wanted to listen to it live.
- 44:06Testecleese: Charlie.
- 44:07Brian McFadden: I didn't realize that that was going to be on the episode. I was really intrigued to hear Charlie Sheen talk about, you know, where he's come from in the last decade, you know?
- 44:18Brian McFadden: And it was…
- 44:20Testecleese: It's been in a while, you're right.
- 44:21Brian McFadden: So, he'd… He chose family over, fame and drugs, so…
- 44:28Brian McFadden: Because his daughter basically, you know, it's like, why can't you drive me anyplace anymore? You know, why, you know, he couldn't because he was drunk at, like, 8 o'clock in the morning.
- 44:38Testecleese: Hmm.
- 44:39Brian McFadden: So, it was a wake-up call for him. But, yeah, he basically said that people celebrating this Charlie Kirk's assassination shows that, America's well on its way to a civil war.
- 44:53Testecleese: I think it's already begun, dude.
- 44:58Testecleese: I mean, we didn't use the word Civil War in this country until, like, 2 years after the, what we now see as beginning of the American Civil War.
- 45:07Testecleese: And this next one won't be the same as the first one. It's not gonna be lines of soldiers in a field. It's gonna be bombs going off and assassinations, right?
- 45:16Brian McFadden: Right.
- 45:19Testecleese: And that… we're already seeing that.
- 45:21Testecleese: And… again, you know, you keep telling me that the right is far more violent, but…
- 45:28Testecleese: And then they quote stats, but they don't realize that these stats they're quoting is counting
- 45:33Testecleese: A white supremacist in prison, in his little white supremacist gang in federal prison.
- 45:39Testecleese: getting into a fight with a black gang, they count that as right-wing violence. But the guy that was seen, during the Summer of Love, who said, here's another Trump supporter, pop, pop, and shot him dead, didn't count as political violence.
- 45:56Testecleese: You know? It's like, we're seeing this violence happening, they're just not counting it as political violence.
- 46:02Testecleese: Like, dear God.
- 46:10Testecleese: People got their cars wrecked over Elon Musk.
- 46:16Brian McFadden: Right.
- 46:16Testecleese: Oh, there you are, alright. I was like, -oh, either Brian's frozen or I am.
- 46:23Testecleese: Yeah, I mean, how many cars got wrecked?
- 46:25Testecleese: Because of Elon Musk. And it's like, you told us to buy these cars because they're good for the environment.
- 46:31Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 46:36Testecleese: And then, apparently, Katie Couric, I keep forgetting she's still doing this stuff.
- 46:42Testecleese: Like, I hear her name come up, like, I've been hearing her name since I was, like, 15 years old, you know?
- 46:47Brian McFadden: Doesn't she have a podcast?
- 46:51Testecleese: Wow, who… Doesn't have a podcast, Brian.
- 46:56Brian McFadden: It was…
- 46:57Testecleese: a screenshot from YouTube, so apparently she's got a YouTube channel, too, so…
- 47:07Testecleese: Most of them, especially if they're on TV, definitely want on YouTube, they want you to see them, you know?
- 47:13Testecleese: But she was trying to get Fetterman to, like, condemn Charlie Kirk, and Fetterman's like, are you kidding me?
- 47:21Brian McFadden: Oh yeah, it was on your podcast.
- 47:22Testecleese: so bad.
- 47:23Brian McFadden: It was on her video podcast.
- 47:25Testecleese: And someone went and killed him!
- 47:30Testecleese: Ugh, what's that?
- 47:31Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 47:33Testecleese: What was that?
- 47:34Brian McFadden: It was on our video podcast.
- 47:37Testecleese: I was trying to ask what you… oh.
- 47:39Testecleese: Oh, there you go.
- 47:42Brian McFadden: Your internet's really bad right now.
- 47:45Testecleese: boring.
- 47:46Testecleese: Yeah, I know. Actually, it's funny, because it keeps bouncing between awesome and terrible signal.
- 47:53Testecleese: Makes me wonder if my mother-in-law is turning on and shutting off a thousand different devices at once.
- 47:58Brian McFadden: Probably, yeah.
- 48:01Testecleese: Bandwidth.
- 48:03Testecleese: Make this work!
- 48:08Testecleese: But yeah, I like Fetterman more and more. I disagree with almost everything he says.
- 48:15Testecleese: But he's an honest guy, and he's a real guy.
- 48:19Brian McFadden: And he was one of the first Democrats to vote to open the government back up.
- 48:26Testecleese: Yeah, you know, I understand why the Republicans used that as much as they could.
- 48:32Testecleese: But, you know what?
- 48:34Brian McFadden: I tried to use it as much as I could, too. This is the first time in my lifetime that I remember that the Republicans not caving on the, the shutdown.
- 48:47Brian McFadden: And we may have lost Jeffrey.
- 48:51Brian McFadden: Oh, he's back.
- 48:53Brian McFadden: Did you hear anything I said?
- 48:57Testecleese: G.
- 48:58Brian McFadden: You know, I said that this is the first time in my lifetime…
- 49:07Testecleese: Yeah, the Republicans weren't the ones to cave.
- 49:10Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 49:11Testecleese: And I'm getting a… I'm getting a good laugh, because now I'm seeing everywhere how these, what, 8… 8 Democrat congressmen
- 49:26Testecleese: Turned their backs on the people, and voted.
- 49:32Brian McFadden: But they didn't turn their backs on the people, because…
- 49:35Testecleese: demographic group.
- 49:37Brian McFadden: They got the government open and paychecks rolling again.
- 49:42Testecleese: Well, but here's the thing, they said there were…
- 49:44Brian McFadden: What they're not talking about.
- 49:46Testecleese: And now that it'll… But now…
- 49:49Brian McFadden: COVID subsidies, including a handful.
- 49:53Brian McFadden: the COVID subsidies that, got voted in to help people make Obamacare so much more affordable.
- 50:00Brian McFadden: were voted for in the, in one of Biden's,
- 50:07Brian McFadden: His, big law thing he pushed through… the IRA…
- 50:14Testecleese: And then it's been a continue… there's been a continuing resolution since then.
- 50:18Brian McFadden: And… and it was always a temporary thing, it was never… the only way… in order to keep it, you know, under their budget rules, you know, they made it temporary, and now everybody's freaking out that, oh, we gotta keep it going, we gotta keep it going, so people can afford Obamacare. Well, what happened to the name? Nobody calls it the Affordable Care Act anymore.
- 50:37Testecleese: Yes, exactly.
- 50:39Brian McFadden: Because it's not affordable, it never has been affordable, and it keeps getting worse and worse and worse.
- 50:47Testecleese: No, exactly. We need to keep dumping it. Well, they wanted a trillion and a half dollars?
- 50:53Testecleese: Is that what it was?
- 50:54Brian McFadden: Yeah, something like that.
- 50:56Testecleese: And it's like, dear God, if you need another trillion and a half dollars, then it's not affordable, okay?
- 51:02Brian McFadden: Right.
- 51:04Testecleese: I don't know any other way to put this.
- 51:09Testecleese: We could do so many things
- 51:11Testecleese: To progress this country to the point where everyone could afford health insurance, if we would use this money for something fucking productive.
- 51:19Brian McFadden: Yup.
- 51:22Testecleese: Oh my god. Which, speaking… it's in Leftovers, but it said…
- 51:28Testecleese: Blue Origin, is that Elon Musk's company?
- 51:31Brian McFadden: No, that's the, that's John Bezos.
- 51:34Testecleese: Bezos. I was gonna… I thought it was the Virgin Lang… Virgin guy.
- 51:38Testecleese: He just launched some shit to go to Mars?
- 51:42Brian McFadden: Yup.
- 51:43Brian McFadden: He's trying to beat… he's trying to beat Elon DeMars.
- 51:46Testecleese: No! This… this is so much better than the space race between countries. Because no, now the taxpayers aren't funding this shit, but we're gonna do it because two freaking pompous, arrogant billionaire assholes wanna be the one who did it first.
- 52:03Brian McFadden: Well, they also have a contract for the third moon landing.
- 52:07Brian McFadden: With astronauts on it.
- 52:08Testecleese: Yup.
- 52:10Testecleese: Why?
- 52:11Testecleese: Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying we shouldn't, I'm just asking, what is the reasoning behind it?
- 52:17Brian McFadden: I don't know. There's no… to get astronauts landing… landing on the landing places again, you know?
- 52:26Testecleese: Well, I'm.
- 52:26Brian McFadden: Maybe they're gonna… if they were smart, you know, I've seen a lot of sci-fi shows this, they use the moon for a launching pad, you know, so you build a base up there, and then you launch your big, huge space exploration from the moon.
- 52:40Testecleese: Well, see, I think they've misused that theory a lot, because, like, we'll build a station here to launch to Mars. Yeah, you're not that much closer, and…
- 52:49Testecleese: What you would use the moon for is to build an arc.
- 52:53Testecleese: Because there's less gravity, you could build a much bigger vessel easily, and lower gravity, and then you could take
- 53:02Testecleese: 10,000 people out into space to go find a new planet.
- 53:07Brian McFadden: Right.
- 53:10Testecleese: Just, I don't know.
- 53:12Brian McFadden: I saw it pop off my feed, and I thought Elon would launch the first…
- 53:16Brian McFadden: spacecraft to, and this is a NASA spacecraft, so… Even though NASA's… Got their name on it.
- 53:26Testecleese: How did NASA get involved? Maybe, shared information with them?
- 53:31Brian McFadden: Yeah. I don't know.
- 53:33Testecleese: No, I can… I can accept that. Hey, we'll give you all the data we have on how to get to Mars, if you're actually gonna go do it, you know what I mean? Just put our decal on your fucking NASCAR when you go, right?
- 53:44Brian McFadden: Yep.
- 53:49Testecleese: I'm very excited about this, though. 2027, they should be landing.
- 53:57Brian McFadden: Hopefully, we're still doing a podcast, then.
- 54:00Testecleese: Yeah!
- 54:02Testecleese: You know, this show, it's gonna change again soon. I was gonna bring this up when we were done.
- 54:07Testecleese: End of the year is coming up, we do a change every year, I don't know if you've noticed that.
- 54:13Brian McFadden: No.
- 54:14Testecleese: Well, Local came out of that, the Predictions was one of those.
- 54:20Testecleese: Recently Dead Celebrity was one of these. We usually introduce and phase out a thing, but…
- 54:27Brian McFadden: Okay.
- 54:28Brian McFadden: Been on the bad people!
- 54:32Testecleese: Yeah, There are so many bad people, dude.
- 54:37Testecleese: And that's why we can't have socialism and communism, right?
- 54:42Brian McFadden: Right. If everyone shared a point of view, then we would all share goods with each other to help each other. But the problem is…
- 54:51Testecleese: this guy in Maine, Graham Platner.
- 54:54Testecleese: Check this out, he called all rural Americans, racist and stupid.
- 54:59Testecleese: And then he went, I was like, well, I grew up in rural America.
- 55:03Brian McFadden: Like a racist and stupid.
- 55:05Testecleese: Yeah, well, he brought up… he grew up in romaine. It's like, maybe just romaine is racist and stupid, right?
- 55:14Testecleese: Because I'm telling you, life here in rural West Virginia is not the same as rural Maine. I've spent a lot of time in both.
- 55:23Testecleese: used to go to Maine all the time.
- 55:26Testecleese: This is gonna make me sound stupid…
- 55:28Testecleese: rich, but it… not really. My family…
- 55:32Testecleese: until very recently, owned an island off the coast of Maine.
- 55:36Brian McFadden: Nice.
- 55:38Testecleese: Well, it had been in the family since, like, Guy went out those stakes and plotted his land, you know what I mean?
- 55:44Brian McFadden: Okay.
- 55:45Testecleese: Last piece of it finally got sold off, like, 2 years ago.
- 55:51Testecleese: But we used to go up there all the time, and it was…
- 55:54Testecleese: there's nothing out there, and, like, no one was on the island, so, you know, you would go off the island to go do stuff, and it was the middle of nowhere, coastal, you know, frozen Maine.
- 56:04Brian McFadden: You could have sold it to Jeffrey Epstein.
- 56:08Testecleese: I, I don't know where he's from.
- 56:13Testecleese: Sounds like you…
- 56:14Brian McFadden: Clinton Island.
- 56:15Testecleese: Don't get me wrong, I loved Maine. Oh, yes.
- 56:17Testecleese: I used to go skiing and rafting in Maine all the time.
- 56:22Testecleese: But the locals there are very different than the locals here in West Virginia.
- 56:30Testecleese: You know what I mean? And… and this… You have an idea of
- 56:36Testecleese: how middle of nowhere I am, because I showed you the GPS pictures at one point, didn't I?
- 56:40Brian McFadden: Yeah, huh, huh.
- 56:43Testecleese: Yeah, and you're like, oh, yeah, you're right, there's nothing out there, that's just trees.
- 56:48Brian McFadden: Yep.
- 56:51Testecleese: But anyway, this, Graham Platner guy.
- 56:55Brian McFadden: He's an idiot.
- 56:57Brian McFadden: Sad thing, it's probably gonna win the election.
- 57:01Testecleese: It's saying that he would lose to the Republican candidate.
- 57:04Testecleese: Which, right now, I believe there's a Republican in office in that seat.
- 57:08Brian McFadden: Okay.
- 57:12Testecleese: But he's not even… running as a… Democrat. I believe he's running as a socialist.
- 57:21Testecleese: I believe, I'm…
- 57:23Testecleese: Well, yeah, but that gives you an extra ticket, an extra name on the ticket that's gonna split votes from the Republican, too, right?
- 57:31Testecleese: both the Republicans are gonna win, because the Democrats are gonna split between Democrat and Socialist.
- 57:37Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 57:38Testecleese: This guy's a piece of garbage.
- 57:40Testecleese: He's saying all these people were racist, you know, and I'm from there, and that's how I know. It's like, dude, you got a Nazi tattoo. Do you know anyone else who has a Nazi tattoo?
- 57:51Testecleese: Do you know? No.
- 57:52Brian McFadden: No.
- 57:53Testecleese: No. Have you ever met anyone with a Nazi tattoo?
- 57:57Brian McFadden: No, I don't think so.
- 57:59Testecleese: Oh, exactly! You didn't even come across them in a dark alley one night, you know what I mean? It's like, they're just not out there.
- 58:09Testecleese: And then one shows up in Maine and runs for office.
- 58:13Testecleese: Now, I got a good laugh.
- 58:16Testecleese: You shared this article, and I read it really well to make sure I understood it.
- 58:20Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 58:22Testecleese: What did you get out of this? And I want to give you my take.
- 58:25Testecleese: this…
- 58:26Brian McFadden: Oh, yeah.
- 58:28Testecleese: and…
- 58:28Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 58:29Testecleese: Like, Brazil or something?
- 58:30Brian McFadden: Yeah, in Brazil, who… they pretty much wiped out the rainforest in Brazil.
- 58:36Brian McFadden: Because, you know, they deforested the rainforest, and now climate… the climate festival that's happening down there. They're not talking about deforestation anymore.
- 58:48Testecleese: Oh, it says they're… they're there to end deforestation.
- 58:53Brian McFadden: Okay.
- 58:54Brian McFadden: Well, it didn't do a great job.
- 58:56Testecleese: Not only did you rip down most of the rainforest in Brazil, and for what, honestly, and what did they get out of this land?
- 59:03Testecleese: What has Brazil done with where the rainforest used to be, right?
- 59:06Brian McFadden: I have no idea. Probably nothing. Exactly. I don't think Brazil's not known for their tourism, except for Rio de Janeiro, and I don't think that's part of the rainforest.
- 59:16Testecleese: Yeah. Well, and what's crazy is they tore down a bunch more of the forest to build this giant, like, convention center to hold this deforestation
- 59:26Testecleese: conference at. No, and then… and then ripped up enough to build a four-lane highway to and from it.
- 59:32Brian McFadden: Oh, I missed that, yeah.
- 59:34Testecleese: Why didn't you just do this in, like, New York City, or Tokyo, or Shanghai, you know what I mean?
- 59:40Brian McFadden: Yeah,
- 59:41Brian McFadden: Whoa.
- 59:43Brian McFadden: I don't think you could do a climate… I don't think you could do a climate festival in China. I don't think that would go over very well.
- 59:51Brian McFadden: They're the number one polluter in the… in the world.
- 59:55Testecleese: I don't know, I bet the Chinese would love the money. They wouldn't give a shit. They wouldn't change anything, but they would bring in a bunch of money from all these people coming to their country.
- 1:00:03Brian McFadden: In their private jets?
- 1:00:05Testecleese: Chronic I think the Chinese would love to do it.
- 1:00:10Testecleese: Then drive on the four-lane highway.
- 1:00:14Testecleese: But yeah, exactly, I got the private jet too bad. It's like, now you're ripping up rainforests to put in highways to get to and from the giant complex you've built for this.
- 1:00:25Testecleese: But yeah. Okay, so you don't want to do Shanghai, but you can do Tokyo, New York City, Toronto, Mexico City, right?
- 1:00:38Testecleese: like… why can't I think of the capital of South Africa?
- 1:00:43Brian McFadden: Cape Town?
- 1:00:46Testecleese: church that did…
- 1:00:47Brian McFadden: This is a… K-Town? K-Town?
- 1:00:51Testecleese: Alright.
- 1:00:52Brian McFadden: Cape Town.
- 1:00:55Brian McFadden: I don't know.
- 1:00:56Testecleese: Ape Town, alright.
- 1:00:58Testecleese: Yeah, I don't know either.
- 1:01:00Testecleese: Whatever.
- 1:01:02Testecleese: alright, you see this?
- 1:01:07Testecleese: I… I… this came across my newsfeed 3 separate times. I shared it the first time.
- 1:01:13Testecleese: A guy got, arrested for being… Gave them.
- 1:01:19Testecleese: Well, it actually… it actually has…
- 1:01:21Brian McFadden: Three… go ahead, it's stupid. They've actually got 3 capitals.
- 1:01:25Testecleese: No, no, go ahead. No, no, no, there's a…
- 1:01:29Brian McFadden: They've got one for the judiciary, one for the executive branch, and one for legislature.
- 1:01:35Brian McFadden: And the only one you've ever heard of is the one for the legislature, Cape Town. They've got Bloom Fontaine for Judiciary, and Praetoria for the executive branch.
- 1:01:46Brian McFadden: I guess they weren't…
- 1:01:47Testecleese: Not many cars.
- 1:01:49Testecleese: Well, don't know.
- 1:01:50Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 1:01:52Brian McFadden: I guess they keep it separate that way for some…
- 1:01:55Testecleese: Israel's the only other country.
- 1:01:58Testecleese: Brazil's the only other country I can think of that has more than one capital.
- 1:02:04Testecleese: You got Rio de Janeiro and Brasilia.
- 1:02:09Testecleese: Anyway, anyway. This guy was arrested, for beating up this woman, and he was hit with, like, domestic charges, so I'm guessing he… I'm assuming he lived with her. It didn't go into detail.
- 1:02:22Testecleese: But he was released under his own recognizance, just told, don't go back and harass this woman.
- 1:02:28Brian McFadden: Soros, district attorney that was doing the charging?
- 1:02:33Testecleese: Oh, you're right, you shared this too.
- 1:02:36Testecleese: didn't you? And it was a George Soros-funded attorney, I had forgotten that, I apologize. Yeah. But yeah, you just picked up 6 hours later, beating the same woman.
- 1:02:47Testecleese: While she was holding an infant.
- 1:02:51Testecleese: So… there we go, you know?
- 1:02:55Brian McFadden: But he got back out again.
- 1:02:59Testecleese: It's… we're letting the worst people go, you know?
- 1:03:04Testecleese: God…
- 1:03:09Testecleese: You know what's crazy is I bet I get more in trouble for doing something stupid with my legal firearm in West Virginia
- 1:03:17Testecleese: as a legal gun owner, then…
- 1:03:24Testecleese: They're doing something stupid with an illegal gun.
- 1:03:27Testecleese: In, Chicago.
- 1:03:30Brian McFadden: Oh, yeah.
- 1:03:31Testecleese: Definitely. They'll allow me to carry a weapon here, but they expect me to do it properly, you know?
- 1:03:35Brian McFadden: Right,
- 1:03:41Testecleese: Oh, Roblox! I… this is new to me. I've heard of it recently, I guess it's some kind of, like.
- 1:03:49Testecleese: It scored… used to be…
- 1:03:51Brian McFadden: It's for kids, it's like Minecraft.
- 1:03:55Brian McFadden: It's another version of Minecraft.
- 1:03:57Testecleese: It's a game, I thought it was a way… never mind, I thought it was, like, Discord, where you would share stuff through.
- 1:04:02Brian McFadden: It's a… it's a game, yeah.
- 1:04:05Testecleese: Okay.
- 1:04:07Testecleese: So, this guy in Florida was trying to bang kids through this game, I guess.
- 1:04:14Brian McFadden: Yep.
- 1:04:20Testecleese: I… I just, I don't know…
- 1:04:23Testecleese: I don't know what to say about these people, like…
- 1:04:30Testecleese: I guess the best way to handle this is for parents to teach their kids
- 1:04:35Testecleese: The difference between the internet and real life, you know?
- 1:04:39Brian McFadden: Yeah, that's easier said than done.
- 1:04:42Testecleese: Yeah, especially in… dense areas. Like, it's a lot more difficult for someone to come
- 1:04:48Testecleese: to my children, where I am, versus in, like, New York City, you know what I mean?
- 1:04:59Testecleese: This one got me.
- 1:05:01Testecleese: this, Texas dude… was being brought up with a… oh, this is a Soros-backed prosecutor.
- 1:05:08Brian McFadden: Okay, alright.
- 1:05:09Testecleese: Ryan, I'll get one.
- 1:05:10Brian McFadden: I knew there was one of them that was, yeah.
- 1:05:13Testecleese: Yeah, this guy's looking at 9 felony counts of, diddlin' kids?
- 1:05:18Testecleese: And he pled guilty to one charge of, like, endangering a minor.
- 1:05:24Testecleese: And he got 5 years of probation, suspended, which…
- 1:05:31Testecleese: What's crazy means is if he screws up with, like, a speeding ticket, For 5 years.
- 1:05:38Testecleese: He then goes on probation.
- 1:05:42Testecleese: So, he's literally got… as long as he doesn't screw for 5 years, that's just… goes away.
- 1:05:49Brian McFadden: Huh.
- 1:05:51Brian McFadden: Oh, yeah, you're right, deferred probation, so he's not even on… so, yeah, he gets in trouble, and all he does is go on 5 years of probation, no jail time or anything, that's…
- 1:06:01Brian McFadden: That's a hell of a deal for him.
- 1:06:04Testecleese: Yes, it is! Dude, if I get in trouble for something dumb, here's the problem, is I don't touch kids.
- 1:06:10Testecleese: You know? But if I get in trouble, I need… I need George Soros to pay for my attorney, too, right?
- 1:06:16Brian McFadden: Yeah,
- 1:06:17Testecleese: I just have to say it's because I hate Trump, right?
- 1:06:20Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 1:06:22Testecleese: Oh my goodness.
- 1:06:25Testecleese: And, it's funny, the wife had seen this article, the first trans lawmaker in the United States, legislature, which I'm assuming means Congress, because they would have said senator, right?
- 1:06:34Brian McFadden: Yep,
- 1:06:36Brian McFadden: It could be a state thing, too.
- 1:06:38Testecleese: No, it's federal. It's at U.S.
- 1:06:41Brian McFadden: Alright, that's Congress.
- 1:06:44Testecleese: Yeah, and in there, it tells you the state and everything.
- 1:06:47Brian McFadden: New Hampshire.
- 1:06:48Testecleese: Okay, yeah, so, man, born man.
- 1:06:52Testecleese: Became a woman, Stacey Marie Lawton.
- 1:06:55Brian McFadden: Is this his mug… her mugshot?
- 1:06:59Testecleese: Yeah, with a bald head?
- 1:07:00Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 1:07:02Testecleese: Yeah, mugshot for, what? Admitting to, is that the same as.
- 1:07:07Brian McFadden: She doesn't look like a Stacy! I guess she didn't go through any hormone treatments or anything.
- 1:07:16Testecleese: No, no, just said, I'm a woman now.
- 1:07:18Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 1:07:21Testecleese: But yeah, I just admitted to, like, you know, did Lynn Kids.
- 1:07:25Brian McFadden: Yup.
- 1:07:26Testecleese: So, you know, that's always exciting.
- 1:07:31Brian McFadden: People like that should be, castrated.
- 1:07:36Testecleese: Well, the problem, Brian, is the drug we use to chemically castrate child offenders is the same drug
- 1:07:43Testecleese: We use the trans… to delay puberty for children.
- 1:07:47Brian McFadden: Okay…
- 1:07:49Testecleese: No, it really is!
- 1:07:50Brian McFadden: Bruno.
- 1:07:51Brian McFadden: But you know what I'm saying, there needs to be… Jail time ain't enough.
- 1:07:57Testecleese: Actually cut their balls off.
- 1:07:59Brian McFadden: Yeah, yeah, make him a eunuch.
- 1:08:02Testecleese: None of this castration shit, we're actually gonna cut it off, okay? You're not doing this again.
- 1:08:12Testecleese: So what happened here with the International Olympic Committee? Like, they did a 180 so fast on this trip.
- 1:08:19Testecleese: bigger women.
- 1:08:19Brian McFadden: I think that had something to do with Trump.
- 1:08:22Brian McFadden: You know, we got the LA Olympics coming up, so, you know…
- 1:08:28Testecleese: I wonder if it had anything to do with that boxer who kicked the crap out of all those women.
- 1:08:33Testecleese: And then didn't win anyway.
- 1:08:37Brian McFadden: You watched some of that, didn't you? Everywhere we watched it.
- 1:08:40Testecleese: They lose…
- 1:08:41Brian McFadden: Brutal.
- 1:08:42Testecleese: Yeah, everybody watch that dude beat the shit out of those poor women.
- 1:08:46Testecleese: Well, that's true!
- 1:08:48Testecleese: and, okay.
- 1:08:53Testecleese: Fort Lauderdale. It's always Browder County, isn't it?
- 1:09:01Testecleese: The mayor was attacked by ex-partner and drug across the street, which, as soon as it says ex-partner, you know it's… it would have said ex-girlfriend, right?
- 1:09:12Brian McFadden: Yeah,
- 1:09:14Testecleese: You know that.
- 1:09:16Testecleese: But yeah, anyway, this dude…
- 1:09:19Testecleese: Just, like, came and violated or strained him, came and kicked his butt, and then, like, drug him across the road and kicked his ass some more.
- 1:09:27Testecleese: I don't know what you did to piss that dude off.
- 1:09:30Testecleese: Which, that does not make it okay to just kick someone's ass like that, especially when they're mayor.
- 1:09:36Brian McFadden: No, -
- 1:09:36Testecleese: But… This shit always happens in Broward County in Florida, because Florida Man's story is so… so much better.
- 1:09:46Testecleese: so much more entertaining when it's some redneck Republican trying to fight an alligator, isn't it?
- 1:09:52Brian McFadden: Right.
- 1:09:58Testecleese: Alright.
- 1:09:59Testecleese: Senate Demo… oh.
- 1:10:01Testecleese: Yeah.
- 1:10:04Testecleese: the shutdown. We could probably skip a couple of… at least one of these articles. What exactly…
- 1:10:10Testecleese: I know the shutdown isn't… So… Yes.
- 1:10:15Brian McFadden: There was an agreement in place by 8 senators to vote
- 1:10:20Brian McFadden: for a semi-clean bill, clean CR, it wasn't really clean because
- 1:10:29Brian McFadden: The Republicans agreed that Trump was gonna hire back all the people he laid off and fired during the shutdown.
- 1:10:38Brian McFadden: So all those jobs were promised that?
- 1:10:41Testecleese: Can the Congress promise that, or is Trump signing it, make that promise?
- 1:10:47Brian McFadden: Well, scrum signed it into law, so…
- 1:10:50Testecleese: Okay, so that made… okay, okay.
- 1:10:51Brian McFadden: Yeah, so, they get their jaws back, they're not getting canned yet. I'm sure Trump will look for another way to get rid of them.
- 1:11:00Brian McFadden: But.
- 1:11:01Testecleese: I've already got a list of names he's ready to get rid of.
- 1:11:03Brian McFadden: Yeah, and
- 1:11:05Brian McFadden: And so, you know, that… that's pretty much the… you know, they didn't agree to anything with, the subsidies for Obamacare, or anything like that in this. They… they agreed that they would be brought up for a vote.
- 1:11:22Testecleese: Right?
- 1:11:22Brian McFadden: they're gonna revisit it down the road, and the Democrats that didn't vote for this were freaking out. I was like, well, a promise doesn't mean it's actually gonna happen, blah blah blah. And why do people say that? Because how many times have you done that to the Republicans?
- 1:11:37Brian McFadden: You know, the shoe was on the other foot this time. I mean, I really think that they were dragged out the shutdown until after the election to drive up voters to come and vote against Republicans, and it obviously worked in every state.
- 1:11:53Testecleese: Yeah, you say that, but those were all blue states anyway.
- 1:11:59Testecleese: Virginia was gonna hire.
- 1:12:01Testecleese: a Democrat mayor. You know it.
- 1:12:06Testecleese: Because they do more often than not.
- 1:12:10Testecleese: And right now, you have a Republican mayor. They were gonna go the other way.
- 1:12:16Testecleese: New Jersey, you expect it any different. New York, you expect it any different, you know?
- 1:12:21Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 1:12:24Testecleese: Yeah.
- 1:12:24Brian McFadden: Well, and, you know, and then the DNC just came out and said that they're expecting their employees to work in office 5 days a week, Monday through Friday. No more working from home.
- 1:12:39Testecleese: Oh, they must shit their pants, because it doesn't.
- 1:12:41Brian McFadden: I think you'll.
- 1:12:42Testecleese: fascist?
- 1:12:43Brian McFadden: They did, because they… it was… this was announced on Zoom, and there were thousands of down arrow… down thumbs emojis and stuff like that, you know?
- 1:12:54Brian McFadden: But, I mean, COVID's over, I mean, I think there should be some flexibility for some days to work from home, but working from home is not nearly as productive in the most… for most instances as is working…
- 1:13:09Brian McFadden: Collaborately in an office, unless you have some kind of specialized job you're doing.
- 1:13:13Testecleese: Especially a government job. We all know that most government employees do as little as they can and keep their job.
- 1:13:21Brian McFadden: Yeah. Right?
- 1:13:23Brian McFadden: But I don't think these are technically government employees, they work for the Department of Democrat National Committee, but still, same time.
- 1:13:31Testecleese: Difference.
- 1:13:32Testecleese: Same, same idea.
- 1:13:34Brian McFadden: Okay.
- 1:13:35Testecleese: Yeah.
- 1:13:36Testecleese: And…
- 1:13:38Testecleese: And there you go. If you want your party to win, maybe you guys should actually get together, versus doing a Zoom call, instead of walking down the hall and knocking on Maggie's office, and hey, Maggie… I mean, they're…
- 1:13:50Brian McFadden: They can wear their face masks in the office, you know, nobody's gonna say anything to them for wearing… not wearing their face mask. I still see people driving around here in Hampton, one person in the car with their face mask on. I still see it. It's utterly ridiculous. They're keeping themselves safe from themselves.
- 1:14:08Testecleese: I love how we brought that up as soon as it happened. Like, right away, we're like.
- 1:14:13Testecleese: Do you laugh at the person alone in the car wearing a face mask?
- 1:14:18Brian McFadden: Well, I still do! I'm like…
- 1:14:25Testecleese: What do you think… what do you think you are doing right now, you know?
- 1:14:28Brian McFadden: Who are you protecting?
- 1:14:31Testecleese: Breathing in less oxygen with each breath you take, you know?
- 1:14:35Brian McFadden: Yo…
- 1:14:41Testecleese: Oh my god, yeah.
- 1:14:43Testecleese: Just crack the window, buddy.
- 1:14:46Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 1:14:46Testecleese: mailing it out everywhere. I was like, well…
- 1:14:50Brian McFadden: It will dissipate.
- 1:14:52Brian McFadden: In the air.
- 1:14:55Testecleese: Even if it didn't, that just means you're filling your car full of this and having a giant bomb you're setting off when you open the door, you know what I mean?
- 1:15:02Brian McFadden: Kinda like, some hot box in the car.
- 1:15:09Testecleese: Instead of leaving the window open, driving down the road.
- 1:15:16Testecleese: It's funny, I've always heard of hot boxing, we used to call it fishbowling.
- 1:15:20Brian McFadden: Oh, okay. Different generation.
- 1:15:23Testecleese: Maybe, but we used to put a literal fishbowl over our head.
- 1:15:28Testecleese: and you'd start smoking. And then, when it got too much… too thick for the J to stay lit, you would pick the bowl up enough to take a rip, then put it back down. You'd keep exhaling and breathing in through the bowl.
- 1:15:42Testecleese: The smoke sat around your head.
- 1:15:44Brian McFadden: Yeah, we didn't do anything like that. We just…
- 1:15:46Testecleese: Yeah.
- 1:15:48Brian McFadden: No fishbowl on my head.
- 1:15:49Testecleese: Yeah, maybe it was just,
- 1:15:51Brian McFadden: That's amazing.
- 1:15:51Testecleese: Western Massachusetts. Yeah, it might have been,
- 1:15:55Testecleese: Back in the day, when we used to have cultures across… individual cultures across this country, the internet has destroyed that.
- 1:16:04Testecleese: Not that it's necessarily a bad thing.
- 1:16:07Testecleese: But we used to have certain things you would do in certain areas that you didn't see in other areas, you know?
- 1:16:12Testecleese: Yeah. Alright.
- 1:16:14Testecleese: Oh, this is a good one.
- 1:16:17Testecleese: We talked about this a while ago, with the, the… was it St. Peter's flag?
- 1:16:24Testecleese: the actual flag of England.
- 1:16:28Brian McFadden: Okay.
- 1:16:29Testecleese: It's still white with a red…
- 1:16:33Testecleese: It looks almost like a cross, but it's not really a cross, it's two red stripes.
- 1:16:39Testecleese: this guy, I don't know, I don't… he might be the Prime Minister of England, I don't know how any of this shit works.
- 1:16:46Brian McFadden: I don't even know who that is anymore.
- 1:16:48Testecleese: Yeah, their way of setting up their government and everything they do is so weird with the entire United Kingdom and the Commonwealth, and individual countries, and what the…
- 1:16:59Testecleese: Jesus Christ, call yourself one country, and each of you is a fucking state, how is that?
- 1:17:05Testecleese: You know?
- 1:17:07Testecleese: But anyway… He's saying if our flag offends you, you might be in the wrong country.
- 1:17:14Testecleese: Apparently… It's getting worse.
- 1:17:18Testecleese: People are taking this… people waving their national flag as, like, a hate symbol, and it's creating, quote, no-go zones.
- 1:17:27Testecleese: And it's like, dude, if I…
- 1:17:29Brian McFadden: Hey!
- 1:17:29Testecleese: lag.
- 1:17:30Brian McFadden: This guy is a local reporter.
- 1:17:35Brian McFadden: Started out a local reporter, then he covered, moved to London, and became… covered Brexit.
- 1:17:43Testecleese: He's been to Syria-Iraqi borders…
- 1:17:47Brian McFadden: And…
- 1:17:48Testecleese: So he's actually, on the… on the site of this news.
- 1:17:52Brian McFadden: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:17:53Testecleese: Gareth.
- 1:17:55Testecleese: Yeah, it's like, why'd you come here if the flag of this country offends you? If the people that live here offend you, why would you come here?
- 1:18:03Testecleese: And I think it's pretty obvious, they're taking over. They've invaded.
- 1:18:07Brian McFadden: Trying to take over, yeah, yep.
- 1:18:10Testecleese: She's like Dearborn, Michigan, you've been conquered.
- 1:18:13Brian McFadden: Yep.
- 1:18:14Testecleese: You get called to prayer 5 times a day.
- 1:18:17Testecleese: They've installed their own theocracy within the United States.
- 1:18:22Brian McFadden: And the state of Michigan's allowed it.
- 1:18:26Testecleese: The United States allowed it! You're not allowed to do that, I thought. Or is it only the United… only the United States themselves?
- 1:18:33Testecleese: I'm allowed to be theocratic.
- 1:18:35Brian McFadden: I don't know.
- 1:18:42Brian McFadden: Alright.
- 1:18:43Testecleese: Oh, yeah.
- 1:18:44Brian McFadden: back to Governor Newsom, he, had to pull
- 1:18:48Brian McFadden: thousands of commercial driver's licenses, because they were issued…
- 1:18:52Testecleese: Thousands.
- 1:18:53Brian McFadden: It should illegally to foreign truckers.
- 1:18:57Testecleese: Yeah, and what's crazy is I saw a dozen stories after this came out, because the DOT showed up and did an audit.
- 1:19:04Testecleese: Found 17,000 licenses that were illegally issued for commercial drivers.
- 1:19:11Testecleese: All these articles that came after the fact said, oh.
- 1:19:14Testecleese: California found this issue, and have…
- 1:19:18Testecleese: You know, giving them until the first of the year or whatever, to surrender their licenses, and it's like, that's not what happened at all.
- 1:19:25Testecleese: California did this shit, and they got caught.
- 1:19:28Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 1:19:29Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 1:19:30Testecleese: After these other accidents, you didn't think there's gonna be some kind of freaking, let's go have a look? You know? Right.
- 1:19:37Testecleese: And, oh, federal government is no authority in, California.
- 1:19:42Brian McFadden: Whoa.
- 1:19:43Testecleese: Your commercial driver?
- 1:19:43Brian McFadden: Commercial trucking driver… if it's a commercial driver's license for trucking, yes, they do.
- 1:19:50Testecleese: Exactly. You're operating on federal roads, and you're crossing state lines.
- 1:19:57Testecleese: So, already, this new Department of Treasury Secretary, I don't even know who it is, is already doing a better job than Butter Geek.
- 1:20:07Brian McFadden: I don't know who it is either, but nobody… I mean, the only reason we knew about him is because he was the former mayor of,
- 1:20:15Brian McFadden: Someplace in Indiana.
- 1:20:18Testecleese: Yeah, the only reason why we knew he was the department, the Secretary of, Transportation…
- 1:20:23Brian McFadden: He was on maternity leave.
- 1:20:24Testecleese: Because he wasn't there when it happened.
- 1:20:26Testecleese: Yeah, he went, oh, we adopted a baby, I'm taking paternity leave.
- 1:20:32Testecleese: And he was never there, and then, what, how many trains derailed?
- 1:20:37Testecleese: It's frozen again.
- 1:20:40Brian McFadden: I'm not frozen, you're the one freezing. I've got perfectly good internet.
- 1:20:44Brian McFadden: My, my route…
- 1:20:45Testecleese: No, I know, but I'm assuming when you… I'm assuming when you freeze that you can't hear me, because I'm…
- 1:20:51Testecleese: Got bad connection.
- 1:20:53Brian McFadden: Yeah, I mean, I'm hardwired into the router, so…
- 1:21:00Brian McFadden: A bunch of truckers got arrested in Indiana in the same crackdown.
- 1:21:05Testecleese: This is, Operation Midway Blitz. It hit Chicago hot, too, but it… the main focus is, Indiana interstate roads.
- 1:21:15Testecleese: Like, federal roads, and…
- 1:21:19Testecleese: They arrested, yeah, like I said, 146 truckers with illegal licenses that shouldn't be in this country.
- 1:21:29Brian McFadden: So, when the licenses get taken away, do they get deported at the same time?
- 1:21:33Testecleese: That's an excellent question, because a judge recently just released a whole bunch of people in Chicago, didn't they?
- 1:21:39Testecleese: like, 300…
- 1:21:43Testecleese: like, 300 illegal immigrants that were picked up by ICE were just released by a judge claiming, we had an agreement that you wouldn't do these certain things so close to wherever. The federal government's like, we never agreed to any of that shit, and you just turned loose a whole bunch of…
- 1:21:59Testecleese: People we've been looking for, you know?
- 1:22:02Testecleese: This scattered to the wind.
- 1:22:05Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 1:22:06Testecleese: Chicago police finally got involved to help the federal government in terms of immigration.
- 1:22:14Testecleese: Bunch of, shots fired.
- 1:22:18Testecleese: at, it was ICE agents, was it? Or just, oh, just as… yeah, during immigration protests, federal agents. Chicago police actually got involved to do something that's…
- 1:22:28Testecleese: Better than Portland. Portland just turned their backs.
- 1:22:31Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 1:22:31Testecleese: You know?
- 1:22:33Testecleese: Yeah, and we're not in a civil war, right?
- 1:22:37Brian McFadden: No, not at all.
- 1:22:41Testecleese: It was a good one. Did you see the Latin Kings?
- 1:22:44Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 1:22:46Testecleese: Yeah, they're authorizing, some shooting directive. Is this the one at Pam Bondi, or all federal agents?
- 1:22:58Brian McFadden: I know it's in Chicago… All federal… targeting federal agents.
- 1:23:04Testecleese: Yeah, this is not… this is not the first gang, because the cartel offered something similar. And that lets you know, right there.
- 1:23:11Brian McFadden: They're doing something right.
- 1:23:14Testecleese: Yeah, yeah, exactly. We're not doing anything wrong if we're gonna stop the federal police from enforcing the law, right?
- 1:23:20Brian McFadden: Right.
- 1:23:21Testecleese: Yeah.
- 1:23:22Testecleese: And… wha… Most of these gangs are pushing drugs, that's…
- 1:23:28Testecleese: What they do, it's how they make their money.
- 1:23:30Brian McFadden: Yep.
- 1:23:32Testecleese: And… It's not Panama.
- 1:23:36Testecleese: That's true.
- 1:23:38Testecleese: No. No, it is Panamanian.
- 1:23:43Testecleese: Panama just, they had a 13.2 ton seizure of cocaine.
- 1:23:52Testecleese: He was headed to the U.S,
- 1:23:56Testecleese: They said it's the biggest… seizure they've had since 2007.
- 1:24:03Brian McFadden: In Panama?
- 1:24:05Testecleese: Yeah.
- 1:24:06Brian McFadden: Well, there's probably a reason for that.
- 1:24:08Testecleese: Well, it's on the way from…
- 1:24:11Testecleese: Colombia to the United States, right?
- 1:24:14Brian McFadden: Yeah, I'm sure Panama, for the most part, turns a blind eye to this kind of thing, but since Trump's gotten involved.
- 1:24:21Brian McFadden: They got…
- 1:24:22Testecleese: step up.
- 1:24:23Brian McFadden: Yeah, they don't want to get blown up too, so they gotta step up their enforcement game a little bit. Just a little bit.
- 1:24:31Testecleese: Maybe 13.2 tons of blow?
- 1:24:34Brian McFadden: What's the street value on that?
- 1:24:37Testecleese: I'm not sure, but it does have individual doses listed in this article somewhere.
- 1:24:47Testecleese: 13.2 million individual doses.
- 1:24:51Brian McFadden: Okay.
- 1:24:52Brian McFadden: You got grams?
- 1:24:55Brian McFadden: 8 balls.
- 1:24:56Testecleese: I don't know. Well, I wouldn't consider an 8-ball a single dose.
- 1:25:04Brian McFadden: You're…
- 1:25:05Testecleese: Your heart couldn't handle that, Brian, you know it.
- 1:25:07Testecleese: Not anymore.
- 1:25:13Testecleese: There's still nowhere to get below.
- 1:25:15Brian McFadden: No.
- 1:25:16Testecleese: No.
- 1:25:18Testecleese: No…
- 1:25:20Brian McFadden: No.
- 1:25:22Brian McFadden: Too old.
- 1:25:24Testecleese: I didn't ask if you still got it, I just wondered if you still knew some way you could get it.
- 1:25:32Testecleese: Because, I wouldn't know where to get anything around here, but if I were to go back to, like, the Hampton Roads area, I could find drugs and illegal stuff. If I went back to Massachusetts, I could find this stuff, because I knew people to contact, you know?
- 1:25:46Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 1:25:47Brian McFadden: So, Denver is following, following Massachusetts.
- 1:25:53Testecleese: Yeah.
- 1:25:53Brian McFadden: And, they're getting rid of flavored vapes, menthol cigarettes, and other flavored nicotine products.
- 1:26:01Brian McFadden: In Denver.
- 1:26:02Testecleese: And that made me laugh, because wasn't Colorado one of the first states to legalize pot?
- 1:26:08Brian McFadden: Yeah, well, pot's better than cigarettes, according to them.
- 1:26:11Testecleese: Yeah, but you get… yeah, exactly. You can get gummy bears full of pot that'll get you tripping your nuts off for 6 hours.
- 1:26:19Brian McFadden: But this is only Denver, so, I mean, you literally can lead the city of Denver and get all this shit. Still, not like Massachusetts, where it's statewide.
- 1:26:28Testecleese: Yeah, it just, it blows my mind that you're gonna do it for cigarettes, but not for pop.
- 1:26:32Brian McFadden: Right. It's like, oh, it encourages children to use these products. It's like, what?
- 1:26:39Testecleese: oh, which one is this? Oh, okay, that's… that's why all these, smoke shops are leaving,
- 1:26:48Testecleese: Denver.
- 1:26:49Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 1:26:52Testecleese: Seattle had an election recently, too, and no one's been bringing it up, but they got a new mayor coming in soon, too, who's also…
- 1:26:59Brian McFadden: He's similar to Madame.
- 1:27:01Testecleese: Yeah.
- 1:27:04Brian McFadden: And she said she's not gonna allow private grocery stores to close.
- 1:27:09Brian McFadden: How is she gonna enforce that?
- 1:27:12Testecleese: That's what got me. Ugh.
- 1:27:15Testecleese: as soon as… because I was listening to someone talk about this on one of these podcasts.
- 1:27:20Testecleese: And he's like, oh, won't let them close. It's like, what do you mean? Won't let them close. How, how…
- 1:27:26Testecleese: Okay, so they're losing money, they have to stay open and keep losing money?
- 1:27:31Brian McFadden: Are you gonna pay him? Pay him to stay open?
- 1:27:33Testecleese: Are you saying this is slave labor? You need to continue doing this?
- 1:27:39Testecleese: I don't care if you're not making any money, you're going to do this for us.
- 1:27:43Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 1:27:45Testecleese: These people have no idea what they're talking about. They can't.
- 1:27:48Brian McFadden: No, they're stupid.
- 1:27:49Testecleese: We're gonna make groceries affordable, everyone can get fresh food, not just the rich.
- 1:27:55Testecleese: I'm like, you can… you know, you can get, like, fresh lettuce at your local grocery store, you just have to, like, check the dates on them?
- 1:28:03Brian McFadden: Nope.
- 1:28:05Testecleese: You know? You don't have to go to Whole Foods to spend 3 times as much money.
- 1:28:09Testecleese: No. I'm sure when you go grocery shopping, you check the dates on everything that you buy that's perishable, don't you?
- 1:28:15Brian McFadden: Oh yeah.
- 1:28:16Testecleese: You know to reach to the back for your milk, where the newest milk is, so it'll last longer?
- 1:28:21Brian McFadden: I'm a vendor, I know exactly where to reach for my shit.
- 1:28:24Testecleese: Okay, so there you go, you're right, you stock the shelves, you know exactly what the fresh stuff is, don't you?
- 1:28:29Brian McFadden: And my first, my first job in the high school was working at Kroger. I know, I know the system, I've known it all my whole life, you know? So…
- 1:28:39Testecleese: Yeah, exactly, so you know where to get the fresher stuff versus the stuff that's about to go bad.
- 1:28:44Brian McFadden: Yep, yep, yep.
- 1:28:48Testecleese: They say dumb stuff like this, and you're like, oh my god, how have you survived as an adult this long?
- 1:28:54Testecleese: You know?
- 1:28:56Brian McFadden: And they got voted in office, so that's something…
- 1:28:58Testecleese: there.
- 1:29:00Testecleese: Yeah.
- 1:29:01Testecleese: Yeah, that means a whole bunch…
- 1:29:04Testecleese: Some of you have no idea how to live, or how to survive, and they need someone else to tell them how to do it.
- 1:29:09Testecleese: I just don't understand why it has to cost everyone else money.
- 1:29:13Testecleese: Like, can't we just sit him down in front of a computer and show him a YouTube video?
- 1:29:20Testecleese: That's too bad, my connection… I got full connection!
- 1:30:07Testecleese: Oh, there you are.
- 1:30:08Brian McFadden: Yep, I'm back.
- 1:30:09Testecleese: I've had a decent connection, I don't know what happened.
- 1:30:15Testecleese: I think you shared this one. Oh, go ahead, what's up?
- 1:30:19Brian McFadden: The Korean War vet?
- 1:30:20Testecleese: Yeah, there's a video, I don't know how long it is.
- 1:30:26Testecleese: I don't know if you wanted to share, but…
- 1:30:28Testecleese: I guess he was kicked out of a nursing home in New York to make room for, illegal immigrants?
- 1:30:35Brian McFadden: I'm watching an ad.
- 1:30:37Testecleese: largely.
- 1:30:39Testecleese: This is something we saw…
- 1:30:41Testecleese: We've seen all over the country with vets being kicked out of housing like this to make room for migrants.
- 1:30:49Testecleese: And it really makes you wonder that between this, and then booing at a swearing-in ceremony, it makes you really wonder, is it worth it?
- 1:30:58Testecleese: Yo, are they gonna call you Baby Killer when you come home?
- 1:31:05Testecleese: And that was Vietnam, this guy was Korean, whoa, that was even further back.
- 1:31:09Brian McFadden: Yup.
- 1:31:11Audio shared by Brian McFadden: Frank, I think they want to hear from you about, your thoughts. Okay.
- 1:31:21Audio shared by Brian McFadden: Go ahead, go, go ahead, go ahead. Oh, I guess I'm gonna give you this microphone. Firstly, I'd like to thank you for having me here.
- 1:31:29Audio shared by Brian McFadden: It's a great pleasure to meet all these people, as interested as I am in what's going on.
- 1:31:36Audio shared by Brian McFadden: No.
- 1:31:37Audio shared by Brian McFadden: The thing I'm… annoyed about Is how they did it.
- 1:31:44Audio shared by Brian McFadden: It was very disgraceful what they did to the people in the island shores.
- 1:31:50Audio shared by Brian McFadden: They gave us…
- 1:31:52Audio shared by Brian McFadden: time to get out. But they never said when, and they never said they would go and get us out.
- 1:31:59Audio shared by Brian McFadden: And then one day, There's a…
- 1:32:02Audio shared by Brian McFadden: thing on the board, a notice on the board. You gotta be out by March 15th. I think that gave us, like, a month and a half to find out where we're gonna go.
- 1:32:16Audio shared by Brian McFadden: I thought my suitcases were gonna be on the curb, because I'm not that fast. If it wasn't for my daughter, they would have been on the curb.
- 1:32:27Testecleese: Guy's in a wheelchair.
- 1:32:28Audio shared by Brian McFadden: That's…
- 1:32:29Testecleese: Oh, man.
- 1:32:29Audio shared by Brian McFadden: It happened, and that was it.
- 1:32:34Testecleese: I said, no, no, no, no, you're not moving me. And they said, yes, yes, yes, we all.
- 1:32:40Audio shared by Brian McFadden: And it, everything was done behind closed doors.
- 1:32:44Brian McFadden: Because they got more money from the federal government.
- 1:32:46Audio shared by Brian McFadden: actually make any attempt to stop them, because there wasn't enough time. I thank
- 1:32:54Audio shared by Brian McFadden: Richie over there for looking after me, he did a terrific job.
- 1:33:00Testecleese: That's why the fog.
- 1:33:00Audio shared by Brian McFadden: No issues.
- 1:33:01Testecleese: being involved.
- 1:33:01Audio shared by Brian McFadden: of my grandkids, I survived. Well, I'll say this. Frank is very fortunate to have a loving family and a support system.
- 1:33:11Audio shared by Brian McFadden: He's fortunate to have his daughter Barbara, his grandson Michael have been willing to help, but not every senior has that. And we know that there are seniors that were in that facility that did not have that support system, and that's why we demand to know what happened to them.
- 1:33:23Audio shared by Brian McFadden: But it also brings up a point, that they were forced to leave on a certain day in March.
- 1:33:29Audio shared by Brian McFadden: Yet, when the elected officials inquired, they were told they don't want to sell in this market.
- 1:33:35Audio shared by Brian McFadden: What was the rush then? That's the question we need the media to ask Homes for the Homeless. If you didn't sell the property, and you still weren't interested in selling the property, then what was the rush to get these senior citizens out?
- 1:33:51Audio shared by Brian McFadden: They deserve to know. They deserve to have answers. And if this is a nonprofit organization that wants to keep its nonprofit status, they better have the answers to those questions.
- 1:34:01Testecleese: Oh, they don't specifically say this is for migrants.
- 1:34:03Audio shared by Brian McFadden: I'm sure you have questions.
- 1:34:04Brian McFadden: Okay.
- 1:34:05Audio shared by Brian McFadden: Not for me.
- 1:34:05Brian McFadden: But they kicked everybody out for some reason.
- 1:34:08Testecleese: Yes.
- 1:34:10Testecleese: God.
- 1:34:11Testecleese: But again, that's why a federal government shouldn't be involved in any of this. The federal government doesn't have the authority
- 1:34:18Testecleese: Let me go libertarian on it. Doesn't have the authority to be doing this shit.
- 1:34:22Brian McFadden: No.
- 1:34:23Testecleese: They can't just take taxpayer dollars. That's supposed to be for federal programs.
- 1:34:28Testecleese: Federal government just can't keep making more programs.
- 1:34:31Testecleese: States are supposed to handle this shit.
- 1:34:37Testecleese: That's where it gets me, is Massachusetts complains about their taxes.
- 1:34:42Testecleese: but then votes for more of these programs. Yeah. And it's like, hey, Massachusetts, you know they're taking your tax money, because you're making so much money on, you know, in the Northeast, right?
- 1:34:52Brian McFadden: Yup. And they're, they're giving it…
- 1:34:54Testecleese: To these people you hate.
- 1:34:56Testecleese: in the mountains of West Virginia.
- 1:34:59Brian McFadden: Right.
- 1:35:00Testecleese: Why don't you just keep your money, they keep their money, and figure it out on their own?
- 1:35:06Brian McFadden: Exactly.
- 1:35:08Testecleese: Then this… it passes few through our hands, which means, fewer people have to get paid, which means fewer taxes are paid, too.
- 1:35:19Brian McFadden: And that's what's gonna happen in New York's… in New York City, you know? More people are gonna leave the state… leave the city that… the people that can afford to leave are gonna leave. And it's gonna be left with the middle class and the lower middle class to, low-income people to pick up the pieces.
- 1:35:38Brian McFadden: And do you think New York City's gonna start spending less money when they got less money coming in?
- 1:35:43Testecleese: No, they're gonna find another way to tag speed.
- 1:35:47Testecleese: And that's the thing, it's like, oh, 9% of the population's gonna leave? Good, let's make it, you know, let's double it. I'm like, you do realize one… your own governor said 1.5% of the people of New York, the entire state.
- 1:36:02Testecleese: Most of which live within New York City.
- 1:36:04Testecleese: Pay a third of all the taxes.
- 1:36:07Brian McFadden: Right.
- 1:36:07Testecleese: You don't think that… yeah, that 9% that's gonna roll out of New York City is gonna include most of that 1.5% that pays all of the taxes, right?
- 1:36:19Brian McFadden: Right.
- 1:36:20Testecleese: And they're gonna go… they're gonna go to Maryland, where you're taxed way less to run a business, or…
- 1:36:25Brian McFadden: Even in New Jersey, they're taxed less than New Jersey. Not by much, but it's still less, you know?
- 1:36:34Brian McFadden: Or they'll move to Florida. They're not going to Texas anymore, because…
- 1:36:39Brian McFadden: Texas is putting a tariff on us.
- 1:36:40Testecleese: York.
- 1:36:42Brian McFadden: Yeah, I mean, everything…
- 1:36:44Testecleese: Especially in the light of remote work, a lot…
- 1:36:47Brian McFadden: Exactly, yeah. Yep. Well, and then I even saw an article, I didn't share it.
- 1:36:52Testecleese: Especially when…
- 1:36:53Brian McFadden: they're saying that the financial sector is not relying on Wall Street as much anymore. You know, they're moving away from Wall Street.
- 1:37:03Brian McFadden: Because I don't need.
- 1:37:04Testecleese: to be physically.
- 1:37:04Brian McFadden: Well, in Manhattan.
- 1:37:08Testecleese: Yeah, you could set up, in the middle of nowhere and do the same thing.
- 1:37:13Testecleese: Because you're communicating at the speed of light.
- 1:37:17Brian McFadden: Yup.
- 1:37:21Testecleese: Alright.
- 1:37:22Testecleese: 20th strike, which is funny, as I already had this article in there and asked for military stuff.
- 1:37:28Testecleese: To try to create one more topic, and this is the first article you shared.
- 1:37:33Brian McFadden: I figured it was.
- 1:37:36Testecleese: Carried out a 20th, drug cartel strike, yeah, and killed 4.
- 1:37:43Testecleese: Venezuela and Russia are getting pissed.
- 1:37:46Testecleese: Which I laugh, because Venezuela keeps saying they're not our… it's not coming from us anyway, so what there is is a major…
- 1:37:52Brian McFadden: I don't know where it is, but I know we moved a new battle group down there.
- 1:37:59Brian McFadden: This week, so…
- 1:38:01Testecleese: Yeah, we've been talking about this for weeks, though.
- 1:38:04Brian McFadden: No, but they just replaced the one that was down there, and they moved.
- 1:38:07Testecleese: They said it's the biggest,
- 1:38:11Testecleese: Yeah, and it's bigger, like, it's the biggest since the,
- 1:38:16Testecleese: Oh, like, Panamanian Invasion or something like that, or I don't know, something stupid.
- 1:38:22Testecleese: But yeah…
- 1:38:24Testecleese: Venezuela is getting ready for war, and it's funny because, yeah, compared to the rest of the Latin nations around them, they are more advanced militarily, but they're using Soviet weapons.
- 1:38:39Brian McFadden: It's the Gerald for…
- 1:38:40Testecleese: from the Soviet Union.
- 1:38:43Testecleese: There you go.
- 1:38:45Testecleese: Maduro's in there, but Chavez… made a deal with the Russians at the time to buy old Soviet weapons.
- 1:38:55Testecleese: And it's like, these are, like, 60 years old, you know, at this point.
- 1:39:01Testecleese: Because that's why the Soviet Union fell, was they couldn't keep up with the arms race, they weren't producing more stuff, while the United States still hasn't stopped advancing their frickin' weaponry.
- 1:39:11Testecleese: just… Fucking terrifying.
- 1:39:14Brian McFadden: Right.
- 1:39:18Testecleese: But yeah, this next one here says,
- 1:39:20Testecleese: Putin issues a three-word vow to Venezuela, but I couldn't find the three words he said.
- 1:39:26Brian McFadden: Oh, I hate headlines.
- 1:39:27Testecleese: Basically… yeah, I know, right?
- 1:39:29Testecleese: But he was basically saying how he's,
- 1:39:35Testecleese: on their side, and it's completely wrong in the United States to be targeting these drug vessels, because, you know, blah blah blah, international waters, and it's like, alright, well, who's the authority?
- 1:39:50Testecleese: You know what I mean?
- 1:39:51Brian McFadden: Right?
- 1:39:52Testecleese: To say we can't do this, which…
- 1:39:57Brian McFadden: They're talking about extending experimental, missiles to Venezuela from Russia.
- 1:40:05Brian McFadden: Intermediate range.
- 1:40:07Testecleese: Those are the ones they bombed with.
- 1:40:09Brian McFadden: That is central, you're saying.
- 1:40:11Testecleese: They were talking about?
- 1:40:12Brian McFadden: They used them in Ukraine last year.
- 1:40:18Testecleese: Yeah, I'm pretty sure these are the hypersonic missiles, misses they were bragging about.
- 1:40:23Testecleese: I think if they install hypersonic missiles into… because he's talking about giving them to Ukraine, not even their own thing.
- 1:40:31Brian McFadden: Yeah. I think it would be blown up before they had a chance to get it operational.
- 1:40:39Testecleese: No way we're gonna let you keep a bunch of anti-ship missiles here while we're blowing up your, drug cartel, you know?
- 1:40:46Brian McFadden: Right.
- 1:40:50Testecleese: This next one here got me.
- 1:40:53Brian McFadden: Yeah, I don't think I saw this one come through.
- 1:40:58Testecleese: Yeah.
- 1:40:59Brian McFadden: Using satellites to jam now.
- 1:41:01Testecleese: Generally, the United States is,
- 1:41:04Testecleese: Yeah, United States Space Force weapon that they're…
- 1:41:09Testecleese: Now talking about, which makes me wonder how operational it is before we even…
- 1:41:12Brian McFadden: started bragging about it. Usually, we keep our mouths shut until we use it, right? Yeah, until it's available to be used, yeah.
- 1:41:21Testecleese: Yeah, not even that, just, we keep our mouth shut, let no one… let no one know we have it until it gets used, like the A-bomb.
- 1:41:28Brian McFadden: Right.
- 1:41:29Testecleese: But…
- 1:41:30Testecleese: we got these… we got these satellites in orbit from the Space Force. These… they're like probes, almost, or, drones.
- 1:41:38Testecleese: That just cut off communications from satellites as they choose.
- 1:41:45Testecleese: So, like, should war break out, we could just go shut off all the Russian satellites, or all the Chinese satellites, so they can't communicate and coordinate
- 1:41:54Testecleese: globally.
- 1:41:55Brian McFadden: That's awesome, that's incredible.
- 1:42:00Testecleese: Whoa!
- 1:42:02Brian McFadden: It's a war painting there.
- 1:42:07Testecleese: Yeah, and I mean, especially…
- 1:42:15Testecleese: If, not even especially, but I'm sure these things could be used to kamikaze, too, like…
- 1:42:23Testecleese: like, for whatever reason, they built something that we can't just shut down. They'll just…
- 1:42:27Brian McFadden: Hmm.
- 1:42:29Testecleese: Imagine… To it at, you know, just…
- 1:42:35Testecleese: You missed all that, didn't ya?
- 1:42:38Brian McFadden: They use the satellite to be, like, chemicals. Yeah.
- 1:42:45Testecleese: Exactly what I said, kamikaze coming…
- 1:42:49Testecleese: going at 600 miles an hour in orbit, right?
- 1:42:52Brian McFadden: Yep.
- 1:42:55Testecleese: Woo!
- 1:42:56Testecleese: block.
- 1:43:04Testecleese: dust when you hit it. This, like you said… Vacation.
- 1:43:07Brian McFadden: Yup.
- 1:43:10Testecleese: So, finally, the federal government is… Talk about… area.
- 1:43:18Brian McFadden: Exactly, yeah.
- 1:43:22Brian McFadden: Christians are getting killed.
- 1:43:24Testecleese: True.
- 1:43:24Brian McFadden: We have talked about it.
- 1:43:25Testecleese: Our long…
- 1:43:29Testecleese: We have, because everyone's worried about this and that, but they don't care about, you know, all the other stuff.
- 1:43:37Testecleese: I'm just glad to hear the…
- 1:43:38Testecleese: They've been talking about it, and
- 1:43:46Testecleese: We'll see if anything happens with the Muslim population wiping out the Christian population in Nigeria. I don't know. I say it's not our problem.
- 1:43:55Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 1:43:56Testecleese: you know.
- 1:43:57Testecleese: You may have a different point of view, we seem to get involved in a lot of shit.
- 1:44:03Brian McFadden: Yeah, we do.
- 1:44:08Testecleese: Anything leftovers you want? Anything…
- 1:44:12Brian McFadden: Well, we got John F. Kennedy's grandson running for a U.S. House seat.
- 1:44:20Brian McFadden: Jack Sloshburg.
- 1:44:28Brian McFadden: Think I lost you again.
- 1:44:33Brian McFadden: Internet.
- 1:44:33Testecleese: Chinese fun stories.
- 1:44:35Brian McFadden: Oh yeah, that was crazy, too.
- 1:44:38Brian McFadden: That, they just built this thing,
- 1:44:42Brian McFadden: Like, a couple months ago, and I think we talked about it when it was built, you know, it was like a big marvel, a miracle that they built.
- 1:44:49Brian McFadden: And a couple of days ago, they found cracks in it, so they shut down all traffic on it, and then it collapsed.
- 1:44:58Brian McFadden: Probably a good reason why not to let, the Chinese build your shit.
- 1:45:09Brian McFadden: And, we've lost Jeffrey… I'll give him a couple minutes to try to come back.
- 1:45:19Brian McFadden: So, let me look at another article here.
- 1:45:24Brian McFadden: And then,
- 1:45:30Brian McFadden: We've got the FBI arresting former, Governor Newsom's Chief of Staff on, public corruption charges.
- 1:45:40Brian McFadden: So, that's not a good look for the, chief of staff of a governor.
- 1:45:50Brian McFadden: And, Ups and FedEx have both grounded the MD-11 fleet
- 1:45:59Brian McFadden: After Boeing told them to do so after that crash.
- 1:46:03Testecleese: Yeah, a lot of people died.
- 1:46:07Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 1:46:10Testecleese: Did you, you see this ve… did you share this vegan show?
- 1:46:16Brian McFadden: I shared the vegan one, yeah. Did you?
- 1:46:18Testecleese: Speak the whole story, because I… I got a lot of satisfaction out of it.
- 1:46:24Brian McFadden: I made it through the first paragraph or two, I'm not…
- 1:46:27Brian McFadden: I… I'm like the… I don't normally read through the whole stories, because a lot of them are clickbaits, and, you know.
- 1:46:33Testecleese: Alright.
- 1:46:34Brian McFadden: They don't tell me what I want, after the first paragraph or two, if they don't say what I want to say, I forget about it and move on.
- 1:46:39Testecleese: Yeah, that's the problem, is that they hide all the good stuff at the bottom these days. It's the opposite of how you're supposed to write news.
- 1:46:46Testecleese: But she owned 5 vegan restaurants in Southern California.
- 1:46:51Testecleese: went to a TED Talk.
- 1:46:54Testecleese: And she found out there's no such thing as vegan food, because they use, like, blood meal and worm casings and, cow and chicken waste to make fertilizer. You know, you plant a tree to grow it.
- 1:47:08Brian McFadden: Avocados.
- 1:47:09Testecleese: And you displace the ground squirrels, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. None of it's vegan.
- 1:47:13Brian McFadden: Okay. And it snapped into her head, so she tried to create, like, this…
- 1:47:17Testecleese: during COVID, she tried to set up her restaurants to be, like, a sustainable restaurant that, you know, kept everything in a balance, and all the vegans showed and poured blood all over her restaurant.
- 1:47:29Testecleese: So she said, fuck it, moved to Texas, and opened up a cattle ranch.
- 1:47:36Brian McFadden: Awesome.
- 1:47:37Testecleese: She's like, cows aren't the problem. She's like, that there has to be a balance, like, yeah.
- 1:47:41Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 1:47:41Testecleese: This predator is this prey.
- 1:47:44Testecleese: Vegetables.
- 1:47:48Testecleese: Oh, "… Anything else that you want to talk about?
- 1:47:54Brian McFadden: No, I think that's probably about it.
- 1:47:57Brian McFadden: Oh, oh yeah, there's one more I want to talk about, and you're back now, so…
- 1:48:02Brian McFadden: We got the, pharmacy student that was shot and killed by a friend who became paranoid after they smoked pot together.
- 1:48:09Testecleese: Oh, yeah, both of us shared this article, oddly enough.
- 1:48:14Testecleese: The only thing I could think of was if she shot and killed her friend because she got paranoid from getting stoned, either there was something else in that weed, or she had something that she was trying to hide and was terrified someone was gonna find.
- 1:48:27Brian McFadden: Yeah, yeah, there's more to the story.
- 1:48:29Testecleese: Yeah, it's like, oh, they can smell the pot.
- 1:48:32Brian McFadden: I was gonna show you.

- 1:48:57Testecleese: Fuck.
- 1:48:58Brian McFadden: Yeah.
