Speaker 1: putt and practice. If you don't have time for a

• 0:26
Speaker 1: put on and showed out super Bowl fifty nine. Great
• 0:32
Speaker 1: week in the city and a great Super Bowl Sunday.
• 0:35
Speaker 1: The Super Bowl, however, did not exactly live up to
• 0:38
Speaker 1: all the billing. The Chiefs going for three peat a
• 0:41
Speaker 1: rematch of Super Bowl fifty seven, and it was a
• 0:44
Speaker 1: dud of a football game. Philadelphia dominated from start to
• 0:48
Speaker 1: finish forty four to twenty your final score. But the
• 0:51
Speaker 1: game in and of itself is only part of the story,
• 0:55
Speaker 1: and as it relates to us here the bigger story
• 0:58
Speaker 1: of course, Kellen Moore.
• 1:01
Speaker 2: He guided this Eagles.
• 1:02
Speaker 1: Offense to pretty incredible performance throughout these playoffs and punctuated
• 1:08
Speaker 1: with the win in Super Bowl fifty nine and now
• 1:10
Speaker 1: the waiting game begins. It was Nick Underhill of New
• 1:13
Speaker 1: Orleans Football that first reported Kellen Moore would in fact
• 1:16
Speaker 1: head back to Philadelphia with the Eagles before becoming the
• 1:20
Speaker 1: Saints head coach, which is expected. As Adam Schefter reported
• 1:24
Speaker 1: over the weekend, none of the potential snags seem to
• 1:28
  Speaker 1: have arisen.
• 1:29
  Speaker 2: There is.
• 1:31
Speaker 1: No expectation of anything preventing this deal from being consummated,
• 1:35
Speaker 1: and Kellen Moore expected to be the Saint's next head coach.
• 1:39
Speaker 1: Didn't stop Nick Sirianni, however, on the podium there with
• 1:44
Speaker 1: Terry Bradshaw, Thanks' coordinators, and hey, look.
• 1:49
Speaker 2: Shoot what did I say? Shoot? Or shoot?
• 1:51
  Speaker 1: Well?
• 1:51
Speaker 2: Nick Sirianni, he he shot his shot.
• 1:55
Speaker 1: As it were, Kellen, you know, let's run Let's run
• 1:58
Speaker 1: this back, Kellen, let's run this back. That of course,
• 2:04
Speaker 1: referring to Kellen Moore saying let's run it back for
• 2:07
Speaker 1: one more year. The can't blame the guy for trying,
• 2:12
Speaker 1: But Kellen Moore is, according to reports, going to have
• 2:16
Speaker 1: his salary either doubled or possibly tripled when he becomes
• 2:20
Speaker 1: the New Orleans Saints head coach. The one guy who
• 2:24
Speaker 1: could compensate is the Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie because he's
• 2:28
Speaker 1: the guy that signs the pay checks and could say, hey,
• 2:30
Speaker 1: you want to keep Kellen Moore around, Okay, let's pay
• 2:34
Speaker 1: him a little more. Well, Jeffrey Luriy told it was
• 2:41
Speaker 1: Jory Epstein of Yahoo's Sports after the game quote, Unfortunately,
• 2:49
Speaker 1: we're gonna have to wish him the very best in
• 2:51
Speaker 1: New Orleans, basically saying I ain't paying that guy head
• 2:56
Speaker 1: coach's salary to become the offensive court or to say,
• 2:59
Speaker 1: the offensive coordinator in Philadelphia. But what a huge boost
• 3:06
Speaker 1: Super Bowl fifty nine was to Kellen Moore's candidacy. I mean,
• 3:11
Speaker 1: remember when the Saints fired Dennis Allen two months ago?
• 3:17
Speaker 2: Uh, three months ago, four months ago?
• 3:22
Speaker 1: Got lee, It's the NFL season is long, but anyway,
• 3:27
Speaker 1: Saints fired Dennis Allen.
• 3:28
  Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, wow.
• 3:33
Speaker 1: And the initial list of candidates Kellen Moore what even
• 3:38
Speaker 1: audit we rattled it off. There was like sixteen names.
• 3:40
Speaker 1: He wasn't on that list. And then as it got
• 3:44
Speaker 1: pared down, it looked like Joe Brady was going to
• 3:47
Speaker 1: be the top candidate. When Brady elected to stay in
• 3:50
Speaker 1: Buffalo and Kingsbury elected to stay in Washington, Kellen Moore
• 3:55
Speaker 1: had the amazing performance his offense did in the NFC
• 3:58
Speaker 1: Championship game where they hung fifty five on Washington, and
• 4:00
Speaker 1: then boom Saints interview in the next day, cataballts at
• 4:03
Speaker 1: the top of the list, and it looks like this
• 4:05
Speaker 1: is in fact going to happen. So you go put
• 4:07
Speaker 1: up fifty five in the NFC Championship Game. It's a
• 4:09
Speaker 1: big shot in the arm to your candidacy, and then
• 4:12
Speaker 1: you go hang forty in the Super Bowl. Now, it's
• 4:16
Speaker 1: fair to mention the defense did get a touchdown and
• 4:19
Speaker 1: the Eagles did score seventeen points off of turnovers, including
• 4:23
Speaker 1: the pick six by Cooper gen So the offense scored
• 4:27
Speaker 1: thirty three, but twenty ten of those thirty three came
• 4:34
Speaker 1: off of turnovers after shortfield So really the offense scored
• 4:36
  Speaker 1: twenty three.
• 4:37
Speaker 2: But neither here nor there.
• 4:39
Speaker 1: Philadelphia dominated the game start to finish. You know, I am,
• 4:45
Speaker 1: with respect to Kellen Moore, very firmly in this in
• 4:52
Speaker 1: this place where I certainly think you can do better,
• 4:57
Speaker 1: and yeah, you could do worse, no doubt. Wasn't your
• 5:01
Speaker 1: top choice. But the thing that from the very beginning
• 5:05
Speaker 1: I wanted was young offensive mindy coach, preferably from the
• 5:09
Speaker 1: McVeigh Shanahan tree. So you check almost all those boxes. Here,
• 5:14
Speaker 1: here's the problem if you start looking at the success
• 5:18
Speaker 1: in Philadelphia, Uh, like.
• 5:22
Speaker 2: Who would you prefer? Who'd you guys? Who would you prefer?
• 5:27
Speaker 2: Jalen Hurts or Derek Carr? Jalen Hurts? You think so,
• 5:30
Speaker 2: paullyoo about you? Jalen Hurts? Yeah, super Bowl winner? Young
• 5:34
Speaker 2: guy down. Who would you prefer Devonte Smith and A J? Brown?
• 5:41
Speaker 2: Or Chris Olave and Rashichi? Yeah? DeVante Smith and A Brow? Yeah,
• 5:45
Speaker 2: you would you think? Oh yeah smithan Brown? Sure? Sure?
• 5:49
Speaker 2: Who would you prefer? Sa Quon Barkley or Alvin Kamara? Barley?
• 5:56
  Speaker 2: Respect to ak?
• 5:57
Speaker 1: But yeah, let's be really unfortunately, Yeah, sure, guy just
• 6:00
Speaker 1: ran for two thousand yards?
• 6:01
Speaker 2: Preaky? Who would you rather the Eagles offensive line? Well,
• 6:05
Speaker 2: let's just nine brothers? Guy said, why don't we even
• 6:08
Speaker 2: gonna pretend with that one? That's not why do we
• 6:09
Speaker 2: even need to give exercise?
• 6:12
Speaker 1: Who would you rather Dallas Goddard or some combination of
• 6:16
  Speaker 1: Foster Moro.
• 6:18
Speaker 2: And Juwan Johnson. You're gonna go with Dallas gott probable. Yeah.
• 6:23
Speaker 2: So the point is.
• 6:25
Speaker 1: If Kellen Moore can bring all those players with him. Awesome,
• 6:30
Speaker 1: But the reality is he's gonna become your head coach,
• 6:34
Speaker 1: and Derek Carr is likely your quarterback. Old Alvin Kamara
• 6:37
Speaker 1: is like you're running back. Juwan Johnson is a free agent.
• 6:41
Speaker 1: He may not even be back. Who knows what Chris
• 6:42
Speaker 1: Olave's career holds with the concussion issue. Resheets he'll be
• 6:46
Speaker 1: coming off an injury in your offensive line stas so,
• 6:50
  Speaker 1: I mean.
• 6:51
Speaker 2: You know what you need. You want to turn around quickly.
• 6:55
Speaker 1: You need Jayden Daies because he showed he could take
• 6:58
Speaker 1: a four win team and bring him the conference championship game.
• 7:00
Speaker 1: Got a being by a bang by a boom, got
• 7:01
Speaker 1: a jayd and Daniels laying around anywhere anybody, no no
• 7:06
Speaker 1: matter what. If it's Kellen Moore, maybe he wakes up. Besides,
• 7:11
Speaker 1: he has a change of heart, wants to stay and
• 7:13
Speaker 1: feel the out. My anticipation is he's gonna take this job.
• 7:16
Speaker 1: But coach, you can only do so much. You gotta
• 7:20
Speaker 1: have players. Your roster's got to get better, and the
• 7:21
Speaker 1: Saints roster has to get way better, and that's gonna
• 7:24
Speaker 1: take time. It's gonna take multiple drafts, free agency, getting
• 7:27
Speaker 1: your salary cap right because you're not close. Like, regardless
• 7:32
Speaker 1: what the front office may try to gaslight us into
• 7:34
Speaker 1: believing the Saints are not close, I just spelled it
• 7:38
Speaker 1: out for you. You're not close to being competitive. So if
• 7:43
Speaker 1: it is Kellen Moore, cool, be patient with him and
• 7:47
Speaker 1: get him a roster where he can go win. Showed
• 7:50
Speaker 1: a can pretty impressive performance there in a Super Bowl
• 7:54
Speaker 1: fifty nine for the Eagles offense.
• 7:55
Speaker 2: Eagles all the way around,
