- 0:01Speaker 1: Jaredy Katie and Josh six one hundred.
- 0:08Speaker 2: This is NFL music, right. The Broncos are playing tonight, right,
- 0:17Speaker 2: so seven o'clock tonight, mile hide.
- 0:21Speaker 3: Uh.
- 0:21Speaker 2: They are saying there's a few lots down there that
- 0:24Speaker 2: are opening up right around two thirty for you die
- 0:27Speaker 2: hards who want to skip out of work today and
- 0:29Speaker 2: get your tailgate on. But yeah, two thirty if you
- 0:32Speaker 2: want to head down the main street section down there
- 0:34Speaker 2: is at four, and then all lots open at five.
- 0:37Speaker 2: And of course RTD is saying plan ahead, you know,
- 0:40Speaker 2: because it's gonna be nuts down there.
- 0:42Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Eat people eating their chicken wings and getting their drink on.
- 0:46Speaker 4: Clark's so excited for this Broncos team.
- 0:48Speaker 5: But a long offseason, Yes, that's what I was just
- 0:51Speaker 5: telling somebody feeling.
- 0:52Speaker 2: I was like, is this ever gonna start here?
- 0:55Speaker 4: We ever gonna get football back?
- 0:56Speaker 2: Now? Playing the Packers tonight, Yeah? Yeah. I like them
- 1:02Speaker 2: because they got cute colors. I always go based off
- 1:05Speaker 2: of the colors of their uniforms and their mascots and
- 1:07Speaker 2: who's gonna win. I think that's a cute that's a
- 1:10Speaker 2: cute color combination. I've always found it pleasing to the eyes.
- 1:14Speaker 2: It's an O G color.
- 1:15Speaker 5: They haven't changed their jerseys and ever exactly in ever,
- 1:19Speaker 5: they're one.
- 1:19Speaker 3: Of the historic teams for sure. So with your cheese fandom.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Well, I do like cheese. To Brett Favara, I was
- 1:27Speaker 2: digging around in the system here I found my son this.
- 1:30Speaker 2: I don't know what he was, two or three, but
- 1:31Speaker 2: him saying I love football last year, right, yeah, right.
- 1:45Speaker 4: Football.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Yeah, he got that love from his mother. I'll tell
- 1:49Speaker 2: you that. But I still don't have a antenna or
- 1:51Speaker 2: anything at the house, so I don't even know how
- 1:53Speaker 2: to watch the game tonight.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Get on that, like I thought you were supposed to
- 1:58Speaker 3: do that earlier this week.
- 2:00Speaker 4: You didn't listen to Nick Knacks.
- 2:02Speaker 2: So here's my priority list. Okay, so it's starts up
- 2:06Speaker 2: here and they're getting a TV intended to watch football.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Should be on the top.
- 2:13Speaker 4: Oh, she's fine, happy wife, happy.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Life that went out the window years ago. She's miserable.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Are you kidding me?
- 2:20Speaker 3: Oh?
- 2:20Speaker 2: What's your go to football snackage? If you're at home
- 2:23Speaker 2: watching the football game tonight.
- 2:25Speaker 3: I'm a big chips and dip fan, and I like
- 2:27Speaker 3: the potato chips in like a good French onion just
- 2:32Speaker 3: scoop it.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Oh do you make your own?
- 2:33Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I mean make your own is like a
- 2:36Speaker 3: loose term because it is.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Do you stir the tub French onion dip?
- 2:40Speaker 4: But I tell you what I do. That is a
- 2:41Speaker 4: game changer in the land of dips.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Yeah, take that French onion and that's sour cream and
- 2:47Speaker 3: you put it in the ninja for a couple sows.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Are you kidding me?
- 2:50Speaker 4: It gets it nice and like a rated whippy.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like fluffy.
- 2:55Speaker 4: It's a whip.
- 2:55Speaker 2: You're a fluffy dip.
- 2:56Speaker 4: French onion dip much like you.
- 2:58Speaker 3: It is so dang it changes it so much. Yeah,
- 3:02Speaker 3: it's so satisfying. And the first time I had it,
- 3:05Speaker 3: I was like, why haven't I've been doing this my
- 3:07Speaker 3: whole you could?
- 3:10Speaker 2: You can what you go to? Chip fluffer just a
- 3:13Speaker 2: you know, ruffles.
- 3:15Speaker 3: Ruffles plane ridgid. It has to have the ridges because
- 3:17Speaker 3: it has to hold the dip.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Hold the dip. That is my go to which is
- 3:22Speaker 2: your dating profile, right, that's the title of it. Come
- 3:25Speaker 2: Hold the dip. It's just splitch guy, just spoor draft
- 3:32Speaker 2: art with Jeremy, Katie and Josh Okay. Ladies I'm sorry.
- 3:37Speaker 2: You're probably gonna be losing a lot of boyfriends today,
- 3:40Speaker 2: a lot of hubbies, because today is a national Fantasy
- 3:43Speaker 2: football draft Day.
- 3:45Speaker 4: Oh no, it's.
- 3:46Speaker 2: One of the largest sports traditions in the United States.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Every August, millions of fans gathered with French family and
- 3:53Speaker 2: co workers to shall a brighton get their picks. I
- 3:58Speaker 2: don't participate in this, so you OCCD by it. No,
- 4:01Speaker 2: not at all. I do want to play you this though.
- 4:02Speaker 2: It gives me an excuse to you this until they say.
- 4:19Speaker 2: There's about sixty million fantasy football players here in North America,
- 4:24Speaker 2: with the average player participating in about seven leagues. A
- 4:28Speaker 2: lot of passionate, passionate people. Now I know a lot
- 4:31Speaker 2: of ladies participate in this as well. Nick Knack a
- 4:34Speaker 2: few years ago was in a fantasy football draft and
- 4:38Speaker 2: league and she won that year. She won it all
- 4:41Speaker 2: and she was never invited.
- 4:43Speaker 4: Back, like she's too good at this.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Yeah, she's really good at it. So anyway, today's the
- 4:50Speaker 2: day where you get to make all your picks and
- 4:52Speaker 2: then I have this for you too. I'm excited that
- 4:55Speaker 2: Netflix has officially renewed America's sweet Hearts, The Dallas Cowboy
- 5:02Speaker 2: Cheerleaders reality show.
- 5:04Speaker 4: Would be for season four.
- 5:06Speaker 2: That's going to follow the twenty six twenty seven squad
- 5:10Speaker 2: and it'll arrive in twenty twenty seven. It follows the
- 5:14Speaker 2: candidates through auditions and training camps and roster cuts and
- 5:18Speaker 2: then into the NFL season. It's become a very popular
- 5:21Speaker 2: show on Netflix. I don't know why you don't. I
- 5:25Speaker 2: don't know why at all. So my daughter's into, you know,
- 5:29Speaker 2: cheerleading and all that, and there's been a few times where,
- 5:32Speaker 2: like on family movie Nights, we're flipping through Netflix and
- 5:34Speaker 2: I'm like, hey, we should start this because you know
- 5:37Speaker 2: you'd be interested. I'm telling my daughter you'd be you'd
- 5:39Speaker 2: probably want to watch this, right, And Nicole's like, no, no,
- 5:43Speaker 2: we're not watching.
- 5:44Speaker 4: This, Jeremy, we know why you want to watch this.
- 5:48Speaker 2: No, I just want to. I'm a big like I
- 5:49Speaker 2: said the other day, I'm a big dancer. I'm really
- 5:52Speaker 2: into dance. Yeah, I'm really good at dance. So they've
- 5:55Speaker 2: got a really really solid dance routine.
- 5:58Speaker 4: You got bad rhythm, bro, Yeah, So that's basically why
- 6:01Speaker 4: i'd watched that.
- 6:02Speaker 2: But if you're into the Dallas Cowboy cheer later cheerleaders.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Good news season four is dropping on Netflix. What else
- 6:08Speaker 2: is going on?
- 6:08Speaker 5: Well, quickly, I do want to remind everybody we talked
- 6:10Speaker 5: about this a little bit earlier, but the Broncos are
- 6:12Speaker 5: playing tonight. Bonnicks is expected to start. That's the exciting news.
- 6:15Speaker 5: He is gonna have his first start since breaking his
- 6:17Speaker 5: ankle in the AFC Championship or the game before the
- 6:20Speaker 5: AC Championship.
- 6:21Speaker 2: So we have screws in that ankle.
- 6:22Speaker 5: Probably usually do that just to make sure there's extra
- 6:25Speaker 5: strengthen there. Yeah, So hopefully good luck to the Broncos
- 6:28Speaker 5: and Bonnicks as they play tonight. But the viral video
- 6:30Speaker 5: that I want to talk about that is making the
- 6:31Speaker 5: rounds all over social media comes from last night's game.
- 6:35Speaker 5: The New York Mets were taken on uh it doesn't
- 6:38Speaker 5: matter actually, but they were playing at city Field, and
- 6:40Speaker 5: city Field has been the ballpark for the Mets for
- 6:42Speaker 5: a while now, and apparently there is holes in the
- 6:45Speaker 5: fans stadium area, the seating area because in that hole,
- 6:48Speaker 5: a raccoon's little paw is seen reaching around trying to
- 6:52Speaker 5: get peanuts, and then eventually a fan bought a hot
- 6:55Speaker 5: dog to put down that hole.
- 6:57Speaker 2: For the raccoon expensive trait. It is the cute thing
- 7:00Speaker 2: I've ever seen.
- 7:00Speaker 5: All you see is this little pot trying to reach
- 7:02Speaker 5: around for the things I think we should put in
- 7:04Speaker 5: our stories. Maybe we can get that up in a
- 7:05Speaker 5: little bit, because that video is the cutest thing you'll
- 7:08Speaker 5: see today of people.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Yes, another viral raccoon. Your attention. Please, you thought you'd
- 7:15Speaker 2: heard it all. Just when you think you've seen everything,
- 7:19Speaker 2: not even close.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Who's spiraling, who's getting canceled? What's the local buzz?
- 7:23Speaker 4: What can we expect?
- 7:25Speaker 1: We're diving headfirst into the chaos. It's the mile High Hype.
- 7:29Speaker 6: You know what's up?
- 7:29Speaker 2: What's what's up.
- 7:30Speaker 1: With jkj my NIX one hundred?
- 7:33Speaker 2: Well, what's up with you, fine, sir? Mile High Hype
- 7:37Speaker 2: is brought to you by Mountain High Appliance, where you'd
- 7:40Speaker 2: get amazing savings throughout all their showrooms. Whether you're replacing
- 7:44Speaker 2: one appliance or remodeling that entire kitchen, you can find
- 7:48Speaker 2: top brands and expert advice. All you have to do
- 7:50Speaker 2: is go to Mountain High Appliance dot com. There was
- 7:53Speaker 2: a time many years ago when my wife and I
- 7:56Speaker 2: would sit down and watch every damn episode of Dancing
- 7:59Speaker 2: with the Oh Lord help me.
- 8:02Speaker 3: There's a few seasons I was in that same camp.
- 8:05Speaker 2: It's still going and the rumor mill of all the
- 8:09Speaker 2: celebrities air quotes are starting to trickle out. This one
- 8:13Speaker 2: is intriguing to me. Julia Stiles, the star of Ten
- 8:16Speaker 2: Things I Hate About You Save the Last Dance?
- 8:19Speaker 4: Right, Yeah, I.
- 8:20Speaker 3: Could see her probably going very far in that, because
- 8:22Speaker 3: again she has dancing in her background.
- 8:24Speaker 4: So yes, yeah, that'd be fun. I'd watch for her.
- 8:27Speaker 4: I would.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I might have to tune in because I do
- 8:29Speaker 2: like her. It's me season thirty five. Good god man,
- 8:34Speaker 2: that's a lot of dancing.
- 8:35Speaker 4: Geez, how long have they been doing that show?
- 8:39Speaker 2: Thirty five seasons?
- 8:40Speaker 4: Well, thirty five seasons, but how many years?
- 8:43Speaker 7: You know?
- 8:43Speaker 4: It's like it seems like do some math. It's a
- 8:47Speaker 4: long time.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Who's the host now? Is that because Carlton stole one
- 8:51Speaker 2: of the hosts, the guy from Fresh Friends?
- 8:53Speaker 4: Just who it is?
- 8:54Speaker 2: I have started in two thousand and five, twenty one
- 8:57Speaker 2: years now?
- 8:58Speaker 1: We know?
- 8:58Speaker 2: Wow, be math in. Okay. So I had to pull
- 9:02Speaker 2: this audio this morning because I like the show Shrinking
- 9:06Speaker 2: on Apple TV. It's really good and Harrison Ford is
- 9:08Speaker 2: in it, and he's made it no secret throughout the
- 9:11Speaker 2: years that he is so sick of the Indiana Jones
- 9:15Speaker 2: theme song. He's made jokes like that song follows me everywhere. Well,
- 9:20Speaker 2: I thought this was kind of cute because they were
- 9:22Speaker 2: out promoting shrinking on Sesame Street, which is also funny
- 9:27Speaker 2: to me because if you watch that show, that is
- 9:29Speaker 2: not a kid friendly show at all. But him and
- 9:32Speaker 2: some of his cast were there talking about forgiveness and
- 9:37Speaker 2: bravery and sharing, and Harrison Ford shared a cookie with
- 9:42Speaker 2: Cookie Monster and here's what happened. No, it's just so ridiculous.
- 10:09Speaker 3: If you want to play that song, you gotta come
- 10:11Speaker 3: at me a specific way with.
- 10:14Speaker 2: That cook Oh my god. But you know what, if
- 10:17Speaker 2: you watch the video, Harrison was actually getting into it.
- 10:19Speaker 2: It sounds like he's grandpa.
- 10:22Speaker 5: He is.
- 10:23Speaker 2: He's eighty four years old now. So anyway, one final
- 10:26Speaker 2: thing I have for you, since I'm a big fan
- 10:28Speaker 2: of the Zone, Amazon is planning to expand their Prime
- 10:33Speaker 2: Air drone delivery services to nearly five hundred cities by
- 10:38Speaker 2: the end of the year. So if you're ordering something light, yeah,
- 10:43Speaker 2: Droni comes zipping over to your house and and drop
- 10:46Speaker 2: it right there in your front yard, or or not.
- 10:49Speaker 8: Like this news story, Lindsey Austin says she ran outside
- 10:52Speaker 8: to record her first Amazon drone delivery, but watched as
- 10:55Speaker 8: the whoops, watch as the drone hovered over her pool
- 10:59Speaker 8: and drop the package right into the water. The mishap
- 11:02Speaker 8: comes as Amazon is making a big splash unintended into
- 11:06Speaker 8: drune delivery, with plans to expand primary to nearly five
- 11:10Speaker 8: hundred cities and towns by the end of this year.
- 11:11Speaker 8: Amazon says millions of items under five pounds can be
- 11:14Speaker 8: delivered by drone, sometimes in as little as thirty minutes.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Yeah, still work, work on that.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Or Lindsay with her first world problem, package went in
- 11:24Speaker 3: my pool?
- 11:26Speaker 2: And why are TV newspeople so stupid? Okay, making a splash.
- 11:36Speaker 2: He didn't write it. He didn't write it.
- 11:37Speaker 3: Oh, he read the teleprompter and he tried to do
- 11:41Speaker 3: it as best.
- 11:42Speaker 2: Jeremy, people drive me nuts.
- 11:47Speaker 4: We love a few of them. What are you talking about?
- 11:50Speaker 2: Just the end of that too. Let's isolate that here
- 11:52Speaker 2: really quick. Cool? Alright, what else is going on?
- 11:58Speaker 3: But okay, o a booster skirts batman? Have you heard
- 12:02Speaker 3: about this? An organized theft? Ring in the metro area
- 12:06Speaker 3: is using what's called a booster skirt to smuggle products
- 12:10Speaker 3: out of stores at a high rate. So this is
- 12:12Speaker 3: a big problem down in Douglas County here. Specifically, they've
- 12:16Speaker 3: called them the booster skirt bandits. Oh, they're intentionally wearing
- 12:22Speaker 3: these big skirts to conceal high value stolen items.
- 12:25Speaker 4: Now this specific theft ring.
- 12:28Speaker 3: They're going into cosmetic areas and stealing a bunch of makeup.
- 12:31Speaker 4: And I don't know if you guys know.
- 12:32Speaker 3: This, but makeup is stupid expensive. Oh I know, it's
- 12:36Speaker 3: small so it can fit into place, you know what
- 12:39Speaker 3: I mean, Like, you don't put a lot of it
- 12:40Speaker 3: in that skirt.
- 12:41Speaker 2: The first thing about makeup is like when my wife
- 12:43Speaker 2: runs out of mass scarra and she's like, Hey, if
- 12:45Speaker 2: you're running to Target today, pick me up some mascara
- 12:48Speaker 2: and here's what I need and she lists it off
- 12:50Speaker 2: on the text. You know, I look like an idiot
- 12:52Speaker 2: standing there in the mascara section. Just I'm oblivious. I'm like,
- 12:55Speaker 2: I have no idea what any of this means.
- 12:57Speaker 3: Well, and even as somebody who buys mascara the way
- 13:00Speaker 3: that they put the print on the packaging, like you
- 13:03Speaker 3: have to stare at that stuff.
- 13:04Speaker 2: For Do I want regular black? Do I want midnight black?
- 13:07Speaker 2: Do I want black ish dot?
- 13:11Speaker 4: There's so many so I get it?
- 13:14Speaker 2: I can't and then I'll come home with the wrong one.
- 13:16Speaker 2: She's like, I wanted midnight black and you got dusk black.
- 13:20Speaker 4: I come home with the wrong one and I'm shopping
- 13:22Speaker 4: for me. So you shouldn't feel bad. You shouldn't.
- 13:25Speaker 3: But a retail theft in Colorado is a one point
- 13:29Speaker 3: three billion dollar industry with a B.
- 13:34Speaker 4: They're really trying to crack down on this.
- 13:36Speaker 3: But if you go see these videos with these booster skirts,
- 13:40Speaker 3: it is wild just how apparent these people are.
- 13:45Speaker 2: They What do they got under there, like a hip
- 13:47Speaker 2: pack or something that they're shoving things?
- 13:48Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I mean there's pockets in there.
- 13:50Speaker 3: There's a lot of things strategically placed to hold these
- 13:53Speaker 3: things in place.
- 13:54Speaker 4: But it is almost like a hula hoop around it too.
- 13:56Speaker 2: Like, oh okay, I thought this was like a butt
- 13:59Speaker 2: crack situation.
- 14:00Speaker 4: No, you probably even put a gorilla in there at
- 14:02Speaker 4: some point.
- 14:04Speaker 2: If you want to get out with a big skirt,
- 14:07Speaker 2: you got a clench.
- 14:08Speaker 4: Oh yeah, exactly. So just if you see somebody in
- 14:12Speaker 4: a big skirt.
- 14:13Speaker 2: I don't know, but they're looking at.
- 14:16Speaker 3: This is something they're dealing with, especially down in Doshes County, Okay.
- 14:20Speaker 3: So this is good news for everybody because we know
- 14:22Speaker 3: how much everybody loves the ski and snowboard season and
- 14:26Speaker 3: veil resorts announcing their opening dates.
- 14:29Speaker 4: For ski season already.
- 14:30Speaker 3: So this includes like Keystone, Breckinridge, Veil, Mountain, Beaver Creek,
- 14:35Speaker 3: Crusted Butte, all those big areas, but as soon as
- 14:39Speaker 3: possible in October for Keystone, that is the soonest one
- 14:44Speaker 3: as when they're planning on opening. But they are laser
- 14:46Speaker 3: focused on preparing the resorts to have everything ready for
- 14:50Speaker 3: people to go. And I know, do you either want
- 14:53Speaker 3: to use ski snow nonymore.
- 14:56Speaker 2: I used to, but then we had kids and it
- 14:58Speaker 2: was so expensive And I don't want to sit on
- 15:01Speaker 2: the highway all the way up to these resorts. I
- 15:03Speaker 2: just don't want to do that. That is something in
- 15:04Speaker 2: my life that I have zero interest in doing.
- 15:06Speaker 3: Well, when you go all the way up to these ones,
- 15:08Speaker 3: it can absolutely be you know, well, if.
- 15:10Speaker 2: You're going to Krusty Butt, I mean you're gonna have
- 15:12Speaker 2: to get a place.
- 15:13Speaker 4: Yeah, You're gonna have to stay tonight for Crested.
- 15:15Speaker 2: But I bet they're all hoping they get some snow
- 15:17Speaker 2: this year though, because last year they were like, oh well.
- 15:20Speaker 3: They were, but this year is forecasts that to be
- 15:23Speaker 3: a lot better when it comes to snow totals, so.
- 15:26Speaker 2: It's going to be a good They consult their Crystal Ball.
- 15:29Speaker 4: Well, no, but you know the Farmer's Almanac.
- 15:31Speaker 2: I looked at the almanac exactly. They called Miss Cleo.
- 15:33Speaker 4: They look at all that stuff. But may I suggest
- 15:36Speaker 4: Lovelin because that's where the locals go. Just want to
- 15:38Speaker 4: put that out there.
- 15:40Speaker 3: Anyway, one more here because we have the DNC possibly
- 15:43Speaker 3: coming back to Denver.
- 15:44Speaker 4: Now this is big news here.
- 15:46Speaker 3: It's been almost twenty years since this has happened for Colorado.
- 15:50Speaker 4: But we are one of three. In Boston and Philadelphia,
- 15:53Speaker 4: those are the.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Other two big money maker for sure.
- 15:56Speaker 4: The finalist cities huge money.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Matter what side of the you're on, it's gonna bring
- 16:00Speaker 2: in a ton of revenue to the city, which is great.
- 16:02Speaker 3: Absolutely, And when that happened back in two thousand and eight,
- 16:05Speaker 3: I mean I don't remember a busier time for our area.
- 16:08Speaker 2: It's good for restaurants, it's good for small businesses. It's
- 16:11Speaker 2: good for weight staff and bartenders. Oh, it's really beneficial
- 16:15Speaker 2: to the economy and.
- 16:17Speaker 3: A big reason. We can give a shout out to DIA.
- 16:20Speaker 3: One of the big things is the airport. We have
- 16:22Speaker 3: one of the most connected airports in the country. And
- 16:25Speaker 3: then a train that goes directly downtown with thirteen thousand
- 16:28Speaker 3: hotel rooms within walking distance of the area they're going
- 16:31Speaker 3: to hold it.
- 16:32Speaker 4: So that's kind of how they're trying to tout.
- 16:33Speaker 2: It's going to be a huge cell. Right, It's a huge.
- 16:35Speaker 4: Cell, a huge cell. And here's the thing.
- 16:38Speaker 3: Hosting a national convention could cost between seventy five million
- 16:42Speaker 3: and ninety million dollars, right, but party leaders are expecting
- 16:45Speaker 3: the economic impact could exceed four hundred million.
- 16:49Speaker 2: See, that would be it seed. Wonder where all that
- 16:51Speaker 2: money goes though, Like once it comes in, where does
- 16:54Speaker 2: it go to? Roads and bridges? And can we get
- 16:57Speaker 2: air conditioning and all the schools?
- 16:58Speaker 4: Well, I'm sure exactly what's it going to?
- 17:01Speaker 3: So many people talk about that with school getting back
- 17:03Speaker 3: in session, and I'm sure that a lot of that
- 17:05Speaker 3: could go for sure, is which.
- 17:08Speaker 4: Would be awesome for us.
- 17:09Speaker 3: I mean four hundred million right back into our economy
- 17:11Speaker 3: would be huge for Denver and the surrounding areas.
- 17:14Speaker 4: So fingers crossed.
- 17:15Speaker 3: A final decision on that is expected later this year,
- 17:18Speaker 3: so we should know something probably around the Christmas month.
- 17:21Speaker 3: Thanksgiving and Christmas is when we should know a final decision.
- 17:24Speaker 4: So there you go, Jerry, Katie and.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Josh mix one hundred.
- 17:29Speaker 2: All right, So coming up on the show, set those
- 17:31Speaker 2: reminders seven thirty. We're about a half an hour away
- 17:34Speaker 2: from fast five with some more good loot to give
- 17:37Speaker 2: away a pair of tickets to see five Seconds of Summer.
- 17:40Speaker 2: That'll be coming up. And uh, I was just looking
- 17:43Speaker 2: at the forecast ninety eight today, which is gonna be
- 17:45Speaker 2: epic bro for the Broncos playing tonight. It's gonna be
- 17:49Speaker 2: a nice night for people to get out there and
- 17:50Speaker 2: do some tailgating and get your drink on and fall
- 17:54Speaker 2: down and break your nose. Oh, mixing a water maybe.
- 17:56Speaker 3: Hey, yeah, exactly, taking a water easy with that heat.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Yeah, easy with the meat and the beer. Tonight. There
- 18:03Speaker 2: fellas got of bro hugs this evening and so many
- 18:07Speaker 2: faces really excited about the Broncos starting up. So that's
- 18:10Speaker 2: going on tonight in the Mile High City, Katie was
- 18:14Speaker 2: talking to me off the air because we're all in
- 18:15Speaker 2: this pursuit to stay youthful and young, and I guess
- 18:19Speaker 2: it all comes down to our hair now, h.
- 18:21Speaker 4: And how you part it.
- 18:22Speaker 3: Honestly, I don't know if you know this, guys, but
- 18:25Speaker 3: when it comes to gen zers and millennials, there's a
- 18:29Speaker 3: real big differentiating factor when it comes to what camp
- 18:33Speaker 3: you lie in, right, Millennials have always said that it to,
- 18:38Speaker 3: you know, a side part. So when you part your
- 18:40Speaker 3: hair down the side, that is a true tale that
- 18:43Speaker 3: you are a millennial. But if you do the middle part,
- 18:46Speaker 3: you're a gen zer. And that's how they've always been
- 18:48Speaker 3: able to tell you apart. Right, Well, now the gen
- 18:51Speaker 3: zers are bringing back the side part and are confusing everybody.
- 18:55Speaker 2: Oh lord, if.
- 18:55Speaker 3: You want to look a little younger. The one who's
- 18:58Speaker 3: starting it is Olivia Rodrie Go. She is making that
- 19:01Speaker 3: side park cute again, and so is in Daya, Olivia Dean,
- 19:04Speaker 3: Jenna Ortega, all of them.
- 19:06Speaker 4: Showing up with side parts.
- 19:08Speaker 2: The side you have to go so bad? Yeah, exactly.
- 19:12Speaker 3: They feel like, right, you know, there's definitely a good boundary.
- 19:15Speaker 4: You don't want to go all the way.
- 19:17Speaker 2: Over I'm a fan of the side. Sorry, they see
- 19:20Speaker 2: the side park in middle school.
- 19:21Speaker 4: Okay, so you get it, and can you side part now?
- 19:24Speaker 2: No, I don't have enough hair.
- 19:25Speaker 4: Okay, I'm starting.
- 19:27Speaker 2: To try to get to grow back.
- 19:28Speaker 3: Then.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Yeah, it's no secret. Nicole made fun of me last night.
- 19:31Speaker 2: Actually she said you better go get hair plugs. That
- 19:34Speaker 2: was after I made a comment about her.
- 19:36Speaker 4: We'll see it exactly exactly, you asked.
- 19:41Speaker 2: Fires back, like she hits me with that missile.
- 19:44Speaker 3: What's funny about this is it's all about nostalgia, and
- 19:47Speaker 3: I'm sure you can see it in a lot of
- 19:48Speaker 3: different areas of our life.
- 19:50Speaker 4: Gen z ers love it.
- 19:51Speaker 3: They're bringing back a lot of different nineties friends. So
- 19:53Speaker 3: this is part of that. The French tip nails, the
- 19:57Speaker 3: rise jeans.
- 19:59Speaker 4: I know you guys, let's go.
- 20:03Speaker 2: But is that where you've been over and you see
- 20:04Speaker 2: the whales tail? Yes it is, yeah, take me back.
- 20:07Speaker 4: It is so yeah.
- 20:09Speaker 3: If you see a lot more side parts out there,
- 20:12Speaker 3: it's trendy, that's all right, Look at me, look at.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Oh yeah, you like fifteen minutes younger. All right, So
- 20:19Speaker 2: I briefly want to talk about this chicken thing you
- 20:22Speaker 2: were at last night. Give me a quick recap, because
- 20:24Speaker 2: I do want to jump off and talk about something
- 20:28Speaker 2: that happened there because Josh had to leave, so that
- 20:30Speaker 2: is funny to me. But give me a rechar give
- 20:32Speaker 2: me a quick recapble went down.
- 20:34Speaker 3: Well, we were at Ilages, myself and Josh last night
- 20:37Speaker 3: for chicken.
- 20:38Speaker 4: Fight and burger brawl, and it was amazing.
- 20:42Speaker 3: I guess this is like the fourth year I think
- 20:43Speaker 3: they've had this, and they were talking about how like
- 20:45Speaker 3: the first year there wasn't a whole lot of people
- 20:47Speaker 3: and then it just kind of grew.
- 20:48Speaker 4: Last night it was like elbow to elbow.
- 20:51Speaker 3: Standing room only in the entire capacity of chicken so packed,
- 20:57Speaker 3: and there were so many restaurants from around the Mile
- 20:59Speaker 3: High City beyond that were there.
- 21:01Speaker 4: To service their delicious chicken and burgers. And it was
- 21:05Speaker 4: just phenomenal.
- 21:06Speaker 2: I mean, did you participate in the wing eating? Did
- 21:09Speaker 2: you did?
- 21:10Speaker 4: How funny just.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Did how many people participated in it? Okay? Was it
- 21:14Speaker 2: like a stage and everything.
- 21:15Speaker 3: There was like three heats of it and so the
- 21:18Speaker 3: I think it was like eight per heat.
- 21:20Speaker 4: And so I was in the first heat. I was
- 21:22Speaker 4: the first contestant to go out on the stage.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Yeah, as it should be.
- 21:25Speaker 3: They played my walk up song, which was a little
- 21:28Speaker 3: justin Bieber Yummy.
- 21:30Speaker 2: It was good. It's good.
- 21:31Speaker 4: I wanted to pitch a song. We played also here
- 21:33Speaker 4: a mixed one hundred to represent.
- 21:35Speaker 3: But it's funny because I rolled in to this chicken
- 21:38Speaker 3: wing eating contest and they told us to show up
- 21:40Speaker 3: about fifteen minutes early, and we're all backstage and I'm
- 21:42Speaker 3: looking around. I am one of three females in the
- 21:46Speaker 3: entire thing, and there are like former linebackers back.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Like the NFL. Like these were NFL players.
- 21:53Speaker 5: I'm not kidding, these were actual, like brought those Jets players, yes,
- 21:56Speaker 5: and then some basketball players like these guys were.
- 22:00Speaker 3: God ready to eat chicken and I was like, well,
- 22:05Speaker 3: clearly I'm not gonna win this thing. So at that point,
- 22:07Speaker 3: I'm like, I just want to have fun, right because.
- 22:09Speaker 4: I still wanted to eat all the stuff at the festival.
- 22:12Speaker 3: So that's where I was like, I don't want to
- 22:13Speaker 3: make myself sick on chicken wings and then not be
- 22:16Speaker 3: able to eat any of the burgers or nachos or
- 22:19Speaker 3: than any other stuff that they had. So my whole
- 22:21Speaker 3: plan was to go out there and just kind of
- 22:24Speaker 3: enjoy the chicken wings, because you know, when Josh and
- 22:27Speaker 3: I had the dry run through, when we had a
- 22:28Speaker 3: little practice round, I stuffed three wings in my face
- 22:33Speaker 3: in a minute, and I was like, that's way too
- 22:35Speaker 3: much bird.
- 22:36Speaker 4: You know, like I just it's hard.
- 22:39Speaker 2: How'd you do?
- 22:40Speaker 3: So anyway, I was just trying to enjoy the wings though,
- 22:43Speaker 3: and I wasn't trying to go like super fast, but
- 22:46Speaker 3: I was still keeping pace with all these people, like
- 22:48Speaker 3: apparently I was doing a really good job.
- 22:51Speaker 2: It was impressive, like just from the.
- 22:52Speaker 3: Crowd anyway, So like, yeah, at the end of it,
- 22:58Speaker 3: in three minutes, I ate eat ten fast.
- 23:01Speaker 4: Ways, it's really good.
- 23:03Speaker 2: It's really good.
- 23:04Speaker 3: And the whole thing was who could eat twenty fastest,
- 23:06Speaker 3: and I was like, there's no way I'm gonna eat twenty.
- 23:08Speaker 2: But there's like.
- 23:10Speaker 4: The video of it is totally people.
- 23:13Speaker 3: Taking the wings and pounding them on the table to
- 23:15Speaker 3: get all the meat off and then shoving it all
- 23:18Speaker 3: in their mouth and they're like intense, and then you
- 23:20Speaker 3: have me over here do like just seriously like looking
- 23:24Speaker 3: at the wing and taking pieces off. But I still
- 23:28Speaker 3: kept peace with everybody.
- 23:29Speaker 2: So at the end, and there was like a grand
- 23:32Speaker 2: champion then or what did they get?
- 23:34Speaker 5: So they got it's like a whole year's supply of
- 23:37Speaker 5: the restaurants, well, the festivals that.
- 23:40Speaker 4: They have in town.
- 23:41Speaker 3: So the company, the dining out that had the chicken
- 23:43Speaker 3: fest they also do like rare and big eats and.
- 23:47Speaker 4: Stuff like that.
- 23:47Speaker 3: So you get a pair of tickets to all of
- 23:49Speaker 3: those food festivals and then some kind of gift card
- 23:52Speaker 3: and everything.
- 23:53Speaker 4: And that's the thing.
- 23:54Speaker 3: I didn't know there was an actual prize up for grabs,
- 23:56Speaker 3: and I felt because well, no, I was like want
- 23:59Speaker 3: of a sponsor people.
- 24:00Speaker 4: I didn't want to win. I felt like that would
- 24:02Speaker 4: be a bad look.
- 24:02Speaker 3: So then I was just like, I'm just gonna relax
- 24:04Speaker 3: and take my time. But it was pretty fun, like
- 24:07Speaker 3: I've never been in a chicken wing eating competition before
- 24:10Speaker 3: and it was awesome.
- 24:11Speaker 4: It was not like check that ouf to fuck it.
- 24:13Speaker 2: Absolutely yes, And.
- 24:14Speaker 3: All the pictures are on our Instagram at Jeremy Katie
- 24:16Speaker 3: Josh at Mixed one hundred Denver if you want to
- 24:18Speaker 3: go check it out and see what.
- 24:19Speaker 4: It was like, but I highly suggest you get in
- 24:22Speaker 4: on this next year. It was good, so much fun
- 24:24Speaker 4: and so much good food.
- 24:25Speaker 2: I think the best moment for me though, coming in
- 24:27Speaker 2: this morning and hearing about all this, and then Josh,
- 24:31Speaker 2: who was slightly reluctant to go anyway, but he got
- 24:34Speaker 2: out of there a little early because of a text
- 24:37Speaker 2: that he got from his girlfriend. Uh huh, which literally
- 24:41Speaker 2: made me lol because, bless her heart. What was the
- 24:44Speaker 2: text that she sent you? Hey, it's my half birthday.
- 24:48Speaker 3: We didn't celebrate today half birthday?
- 24:52Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 24:53Speaker 9: What?
- 24:54Speaker 2: How old is she? In her thirties? Right and half?
- 24:57Speaker 2: She'sday and a half. She is in half birthday.
- 25:03Speaker 5: So it's okay, yes, yeah, yeah, and she was on it.
- 25:08Speaker 5: It's so funny. So the Chicken fight thing wasn't Denver,
- 25:10Speaker 5: so I hung out with her before because I was like, hey,
- 25:12Speaker 5: she lives really close to Elitch's, OK, I can just
- 25:14Speaker 5: hang with her and then and then zip on over.
- 25:16Speaker 5: So we hung out virtually the entire day before, did
- 25:19Speaker 5: some fun things, grabbed lunch, walked around McGregor's square, beautiful day.
- 25:23Speaker 5: And then I had to go to the Chicken fight thing,
- 25:25Speaker 5: and I wanted to go with you and do a
- 25:27Speaker 5: fun event and everything. And I get a text halfway
- 25:29Speaker 5: through She's like, it's my half birthday and you didn't
- 25:32Speaker 5: do anything for it. Like what I was like, you
- 25:35Speaker 5: couldn't have brought this up earlier. That's the thing she
- 25:38Speaker 5: didn't even realize. So I didn't realize you hang out.
- 25:41Speaker 2: With her left and then she realized and then had
- 25:43Speaker 2: to text.
- 25:44Speaker 5: You yes, And that's when she was like, when you're done,
- 25:47Speaker 5: come back over and we're celebrating my half birthday.
- 25:50Speaker 2: So does that involve a gift or so that's the
- 25:53Speaker 2: whole thing.
- 25:54Speaker 5: Now, this weekend is now about her and her half
- 25:56Speaker 5: birthday because I missed it charity, because.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Miss find somebody else. So I love her. This is
- 26:03Speaker 2: this is a list of I don't think this.
- 26:05Speaker 10: Is gonna be.
- 26:06Speaker 5: Is so good at celebrating others, So she deserves it,
- 26:09Speaker 5: and I'm gonna make.
- 26:10Speaker 2: This whole weekend. Deserves a half birthday. This is the
- 26:14Speaker 2: dumbest thing on the planet.
- 26:15Speaker 4: What do you mean reason dumbest? I don't think I
- 26:18Speaker 4: think any half birthday.
- 26:21Speaker 5: It's the same girl that gets the birthday month though
- 26:23Speaker 5: it's the same thing. Six months ago it was her
- 26:25Speaker 5: birthday month, and then yesterday was her half birthday.
- 26:28Speaker 2: So I went about your future here, all right? And
- 26:31Speaker 2: if this is the kind of future.
- 26:32Speaker 4: That you want, No, Josh, you could be way worse.
- 26:36Speaker 3: You take that half birthday and that is steaty.
- 26:39Speaker 4: You embrace that, celebrate the birthday.
- 26:41Speaker 5: I put a candle on a cookie, and I sang
- 26:43Speaker 5: to her, I'm not kidding, you said.
- 26:45Speaker 2: To her, you put a candle on a cookie.
- 26:48Speaker 5: I put a birthday, a happy I went and got
- 26:50Speaker 5: the birthday sash on her.
- 26:51Speaker 2: I got it last night. And then we're going to.
- 26:57Speaker 5: You're gonna sell me golfing for her birthday?
- 27:01Speaker 2: Yeah, she had a sash on. You had a happy birthday, sash.
- 27:07Speaker 2: It's a birthday right now.
- 27:09Speaker 4: You shouldn't be I think it's adorable.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Collectively, we're still it's not horrible. It's pretty adorable.
- 27:16Speaker 4: It's adorable. I think it's cute.
- 27:18Speaker 2: I think it's needy, self centered, I think.
- 27:22Speaker 4: Immature, none of those things.
- 27:25Speaker 3: And I want to say, Josh, I like that you
- 27:28Speaker 3: are appeasing her, like you're actually.
- 27:30Speaker 4: Because he was to it, you know, yeah?
- 27:33Speaker 2: Why every reason?
- 27:36Speaker 11: Guy?
- 27:37Speaker 2: Point? Then is it like it's my quarter birthday we're
- 27:41Speaker 2: gonna get Yeah.
- 27:42Speaker 4: It's my three quarter birthday.
- 27:44Speaker 2: Across that bridge. When I forget about that one too? God,
- 27:47Speaker 2: when does it? It never does I got a headache.
- 27:50Speaker 2: Oh my god, the amount of messages coming in right
- 27:53Speaker 2: now from women, which I'm so happy about, saying, oh
- 27:57Speaker 2: my god, Josh a half birthday? Are you? Are you
- 28:01Speaker 2: kidding me with this princess pilot that you're dating some
- 28:05Speaker 2: of my favorite ones here, My wife, Nick Knak was listening.
- 28:08Speaker 2: She goes, please tell me Josh was just making this
- 28:11Speaker 2: half birthday thing up. Sorry, And I wrote back, Nope,
- 28:14Speaker 2: I can't even And then she just sent back another
- 28:18Speaker 2: one and he bought her a freaking sad got you
- 28:23Speaker 2: gotta go all out. It was there with the candles.
- 28:25Speaker 2: It was honestly a two for one.
- 28:27Speaker 4: Oh hey, you guys are still together though, right, Yeah.
- 28:31Speaker 2: She just wrote back. She just wrote back, I don't
- 28:34Speaker 2: think Josh's girlfriend and I may get along. That's what said.
- 28:41Speaker 2: I would like to publicly say I loved my wife
- 28:44Speaker 2: very much and thank you very much for not making
- 28:46Speaker 2: me celebrate half birthdays. And Josh, She's probably right. I
- 28:50Speaker 2: don't know if they're going to get along, buddy, So
- 28:52Speaker 2: I'm sorry. Lord help you, Lord, help you. You can talk. Yeah,
- 28:56Speaker 2: speaking of stuff going on, my god, I'm looking at
- 28:58Speaker 2: the list of things going on this weekend. It is
- 29:01Speaker 2: going to be a busy city. I'll tell you that
- 29:03Speaker 2: much busy state. A busy state, You're right, Katie. I mean,
- 29:06Speaker 2: first of all, is the Broncos game tonight. I mean,
- 29:08Speaker 2: come on, everybody is talking about that. We got the
- 29:11Speaker 2: flock party that's taken over the Denver Zoo. Yeah, Big
- 29:15Speaker 2: Bounce America with the enormous inflatable attractions is going to
- 29:19Speaker 2: be at the Denver Coliseum. Comic Con is going on
- 29:23Speaker 2: in Colorado Springs. We got a Larry Walker statue unveiling.
- 29:28Speaker 2: And then I know you're heading out to what palisade? Yeah,
- 29:30Speaker 2: is that what you're doing?
- 29:31Speaker 4: The Peach Festival and I forgot that. It's also the
- 29:34Speaker 4: Eleitha sweet Corn Festival. Sweet sweet Corn. It is with
- 29:38Speaker 4: the sweet corn.
- 29:39Speaker 3: And I love this festival because you get to roll
- 29:41Speaker 3: into the festival grounds and they have all you can
- 29:45Speaker 3: eat corn on the cop right, okay, like truckloads of
- 29:48Speaker 3: corn on the cob.
- 29:49Speaker 12: And then they have the world's largest slab of butter
- 29:53Speaker 12: right there on the table and really you can go
- 29:56Speaker 12: roll style so you can roll your corn in that
- 29:58Speaker 12: butter along with everyone else in that part.
- 30:01Speaker 2: Very sanitary at all.
- 30:02Speaker 3: I have a whole table full of seasonings. I mean
- 30:04Speaker 3: you could pick whatever you want. Cage and barbecue, I
- 30:08Speaker 3: mean little range, well, ranch powder.
- 30:10Speaker 4: You have everything on this table full of seasonings. And
- 30:13Speaker 4: if you're a little germophobe like you, Jeremy, okay, so
- 30:15Speaker 4: slab of butter. They also have the spray butter that
- 30:18Speaker 4: you can put on your Okay, you know what I mean.
- 30:21Speaker 2: Well, I'm thinking of this because I feel like at
- 30:23Speaker 2: the corn festival, everybody's you know, eating the corn on
- 30:27Speaker 2: the cob. Your hands are getting into it.
- 30:28Speaker 4: And people are probably licking their fingers.
- 30:30Speaker 2: Because they got butter all over, and then they walk
- 30:33Speaker 2: back over it to the world's largest slab of butter,
- 30:36Speaker 2: the bottles of season This disgusting.
- 30:42Speaker 4: Best festival ever.
- 30:43Speaker 3: And I forgot that it's going on at the same
- 30:45Speaker 3: time as a Palisade peach festival, So I'll probably what.
- 30:47Speaker 2: Do you rub your peaches on? There?
- 30:49Speaker 4: Say, time between the peaches?
- 30:51Speaker 2: That sounds inappropriate.
- 30:52Speaker 3: Oh, I just love the food festivals in Colorado.
- 30:55Speaker 2: That is I mean, I'm gonna tell you right now
- 30:57Speaker 2: that is a huge difference between the two of us
- 30:59Speaker 2: on this because you dies she will go to any
- 31:03Speaker 2: food festival. She came to me with a list of
- 31:06Speaker 2: food festivals the other week and she's like, do you
- 31:08Speaker 2: want to go to all these with me? And I
- 31:09Speaker 2: was like, hell's to the You're like, I am not
- 31:13Speaker 2: a food festival.
- 31:14Speaker 4: And you told me that, You're like, do you know
- 31:16Speaker 4: me with the germs? I'm sorry, It's just the last
- 31:19Speaker 4: place I want to be.
- 31:21Speaker 2: Are we sponsoring any food festival? We are all the
- 31:25Speaker 2: food festivals except but here's the thing.
- 31:28Speaker 4: I call all of them for us, so they can't
- 31:31Speaker 4: it covered.
- 31:32Speaker 2: And roast me out. Generally, I can't talk about this and.
- 31:35Speaker 3: I love it because I'm like because usually the festival
- 31:39Speaker 3: is highlighting one specific food and that's why I like
- 31:42Speaker 3: it because I usually love that food. I mean, I
- 31:45Speaker 3: haven't been to a festival I don't like, so yeah,
- 31:48Speaker 3: I'm just for me such a big fan. But hey,
- 31:51Speaker 3: if you can't make it all the way over to
- 31:52Speaker 3: a lath, I wanted to point out there is the

- 37:36Speaker 7: We My traddler's getting older, so we're switching car seats
- 37:39Speaker 7: and cleaning out the car and getting ready for big
- 37:41Speaker 7: boy seats.
- 37:42Speaker 2: Isn't that the best feeling?
- 37:44Speaker 13: It is?
- 37:44Speaker 2: Actually, are you getting into like a booster? Then?
- 37:47Speaker 7: Yeah, he's gone into a booster, my last one.
- 37:50Speaker 2: And then it feels so good when you don't have
- 37:52Speaker 2: to have the booster in there.
- 37:53Speaker 7: Anymore, you know, yeah, yeah, we're away from that, but
- 37:56Speaker 7: you're right, it does feel so good.
- 37:58Speaker 2: One of my most favorite moments, and I've talked about
- 38:00Speaker 2: this on the air, one of the best moments with
- 38:02Speaker 2: having kids is when they can finally open the door
- 38:05Speaker 2: by themselves, get in and buckle their own damn seatbelts.
- 38:09Speaker 2: It is so big, Danielle. You're like, yes, I don't
- 38:13Speaker 2: have to do that. That's so good.

- 38:19Speaker 7: a seatbelt that's not my own again.
- 38:21Speaker 4: There you go.
- 38:22Speaker 2: That's pretty darn funny, very funny.
- 38:24Speaker 4: Parent's dream about it's amazing.
- 38:27Speaker 2: All right, let's give you your fast five category. Now,
- 38:30Speaker 2: this is traditionally. You can't just be making things up.
- 38:33Speaker 2: But traditionally, I need a list of characters that are.

- 39:40Speaker 2: All right, try to get off your speakerphone. Are you there? Oh?
- 39:45Speaker 2: I think you hung up? All right, guys, it's all right.
- 39:49Speaker 2: Call back, buddy. Always get off your speakerphone and bluetooth you, guys,
- 39:53Speaker 2: because then that'll happen you accidentally hang up. We can't

- 40:11Speaker 15: Kelly.
- 40:11Speaker 2: I can only stand so much of you.
- 40:13Speaker 4: Oh, happy Friday, Kelly.

- 40:55Speaker 2: this morning. Absolutely all right, Kelly, let's do some fast
- 40:59Speaker 2: five with you. You fall in ten seconds? Give me
- 41:03Speaker 2: five fictional characters that are ghosts. Go Casper, yep uh
- 41:13Speaker 2: and that's it.
- 41:13Speaker 6: Wimy, I'm the Ghostbusters.

- 41:53Speaker 7: Uh, I don't know. That's what my daughter just says.
- 41:56Speaker 2: Ah, we just got gooseball. So cute. What's your daughter's name?
- 42:03Speaker 2: Give her a shout out? The cute? Super cute. What
- 42:07Speaker 2: are you guys doing this weekend? Anything good?
- 42:10Speaker 7: Well, they're going to their moms and I'm gonna go
- 42:12Speaker 7: rock climbing.
- 42:13Speaker 2: Oh, very nice. That sounds fun. Is that the one
- 42:17Speaker 2: where you yell blay on? Is that what you do?
- 42:22Speaker 15: I whisper it?
- 42:23Speaker 6: Sure?
- 42:24Speaker 4: Blay on?
- 42:26Speaker 13: All right?
- 42:26Speaker 2: My friend another one that came in from the listeners.
- 42:30Speaker 2: You just a little bit of a theme going on
- 42:32Speaker 2: here this morning. In ten seconds, I need a list
- 42:35Speaker 2: of five fictional characters that use magic.
- 42:40Speaker 3: Go Gandalf, Dumbledore, Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger.
- 42:50Speaker 2: I see what you did there.
- 42:51Speaker 5: Shoot.
- 42:53Speaker 2: Your daughter's gonna think you're super awesome now, buddy, really
- 42:57Speaker 2: good old count Well, you know it doesn't count yet.
- 43:02Speaker 2: It's not official. It's not official.
- 43:05Speaker 7: Did I gotta say, Are you gonna play the Winnie
- 43:07Speaker 7: Wayne song?
- 43:08Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, you gotta say it, but you got to
- 43:10Speaker 2: say my name for say my name Mark, say Jeremy
- 43:13Speaker 2: play the Winny Win.
- 43:13Speaker 7: Song, Jeremy, Will you play the winning Win song?
- 43:17Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 43:20Speaker 2: With pleasure awesome, Mark bringing it home with the w Yeah,
- 43:27Speaker 2: win on.
- 43:29Speaker 4: Mark.

- 43:33Speaker 2: gonna put you on hold, buddy. We're gonna tell you
- 43:35Speaker 2: about your epic prize pack and you have a killer weekend, dude.
- 43:40Speaker 14: Thank you so much.
- 43:43Speaker 2: Jeremy Katy and Josh six one hundred yeah TGI Yeah,
- 43:47Speaker 2: Happy Friday, everybody, Thanks for hanging out with Jeremy Katy
- 43:51Speaker 2: and Josh Live in local at Alone Tree. All right,
- 43:53Speaker 2: so we've got the band Camino coming in here on
- 43:55Speaker 2: Monday for a little in studio performance. Who's our latest
- 43:58Speaker 2: winner is going to join us Josh Sarah from Greeley,
- 44:00Speaker 2: and she is pumped. She says, delightful. All Sarah's are delightful.
- 44:05Speaker 2: If you'd like that second chance to try to win
- 44:07Speaker 2: some tickets to come hang out here in the mixed
- 44:09Speaker 2: studios on Monday, head on over to Mix one hundred
- 44:13Speaker 2: dot com coming up at eight twenty. I'm I'm trying
- 44:20Speaker 2: to decide if I want to switch gears for eight
- 44:22Speaker 2: twenty today. Oh okay, well, maybe go back to Josh's
- 44:27Speaker 2: goofy girlfriend with her half birthday, because so many people
- 44:30Speaker 2: were fired up about that, and I almost just want
- 44:32Speaker 2: to take some calls from people who are pro half
- 44:35Speaker 2: birthday or anti half birthday. I'm thinking about it because
- 44:40Speaker 2: I mean, the text line blew up with it.
- 44:42Speaker 4: It did.
- 44:42Speaker 2: We're fired up.
- 44:43Speaker 3: I am defending your girlfriend because I am pro half birthday.
- 44:46Speaker 2: I am, yeah, but you you're like an attention shut up.
- 44:50Speaker 4: That's not it growing up.
- 44:53Speaker 3: Her birthday was six months after mine, so mine was October.
- 44:56Speaker 3: Mine's April thirteenth versus October thirteenth, so we would celebrate
- 44:59Speaker 3: like and call it our half birthdays. And so then
- 45:02Speaker 3: my kids started doing it, and I just thought it
- 45:04Speaker 3: was something everybody did.
- 45:05Speaker 4: So when you said you have to, I was like, Oh, yeah,
- 45:07Speaker 4: the half birthday, you better go celebrate.
- 45:09Speaker 2: Josh, yeah, I'm thinking about maybe doing that at A twenty.
- 45:12Speaker 2: If people fired up about this, we'll see we're gonna
- 45:15Speaker 2: flush it out. Text us if you want to, if
- 45:17Speaker 2: you think that's gonna be good at eight twenty today
- 45:19Speaker 2: three oh three, six nine one, sixteen forty nine. If
- 45:22Speaker 2: you want to voice your opinion about the half birthday,
- 45:24Speaker 2: I'd be happy to put you on the air really quick.
- 45:27Speaker 2: I've lost my keys. I'd like to put this out
- 45:31Speaker 2: there to the Mile High City. I've lost my keys.
- 45:35Speaker 2: And it's got like this ariat leather keychain on it.
- 45:39Speaker 2: It's really cool. It's one of my favorite keychains. It
- 45:42Speaker 2: says Ariot on it. There's real leather. It smells like leather.
- 45:45Speaker 2: I lost my keys about three weeks ago. Oh well,
- 45:48Speaker 2: you had no idea. I can't get into anything. What
- 45:52Speaker 2: keys there's well, there's house keys on there. There's my
- 45:56Speaker 2: mailbox key. I can't get my mail. There's some other
- 46:01Speaker 2: various keys that I have on there to like some
- 46:03Speaker 2: safe and stuff I do not like you are the series.
- 46:06Speaker 2: I mean I got key. It's like it's a lot
- 46:08Speaker 2: of keys that I carry with me like a annotation engineer. Yeah,
- 46:12Speaker 2: oh yeah, like janitorial stuff. So if anyone has found
- 46:16Speaker 2: my keys, I'd like them back. You've been so concerning
- 46:22Speaker 2: using Nichole's keys, and that's really annoying because like if
- 46:25Speaker 2: I need to get down to the mailbox or something,
- 46:28Speaker 2: I've got to wait till she comes home and then
- 46:32Speaker 2: I can use her key to get in the mailbox. Yeah,
- 46:36Speaker 2: so things are bad right now for me.
- 46:37Speaker 4: I am so obsessive about.
- 46:40Speaker 3: My keys, Like when I go to that night me too,
- 46:43Speaker 3: Like they have to be in my purse. My purse
- 46:46Speaker 3: is in my bedroom and they like sometimes I'll get
- 46:48Speaker 3: up in the middle of the night panicked about my
- 46:51Speaker 3: keys and I will go directly to my purse to
- 46:53Speaker 3: make sure they're in there. So you just gave me,
- 46:55Speaker 3: like so much anxiety mine.
- 46:57Speaker 2: Going to special hook every night. There's the hook for
- 47:00Speaker 2: my keys, for Nicknack's keys. There's some keys on there
- 47:02Speaker 2: for like gates and stuff at the house. So how
- 47:04Speaker 2: are you driving? There's keys for my son's car there.
- 47:09Speaker 2: I have my car key. So this is what sometimes
- 47:12Speaker 2: when I go into the gym, I don't want to
- 47:14Speaker 2: bring my water of keys, right, so I click off
- 47:16Speaker 2: my car key put it in my pocket because you
- 47:18Speaker 2: don't need the key to start the car, right, So
- 47:19Speaker 2: it's just the fob and I've got that. So that's
- 47:23Speaker 2: thank god I have that because I only have one.
- 47:26Speaker 4: Because that's the expensive key to effect.
- 47:27Speaker 2: Yes, lay six entred bucks, so I no idea you guys,
- 47:33Speaker 2: and it's a it's a horrible feeling. It's a really
- 47:36Speaker 2: bad feeling. I know where yours are.
- 47:38Speaker 3: I would be like up at night, I wouldn't be
- 47:40Speaker 3: able to do anything.
- 47:42Speaker 2: I'm constantly thinking about where my keys are. I got
- 47:45Speaker 2: to ask you, was your dad Maybe it's a different
- 47:47Speaker 2: time because I have I have a few keys on there,
- 47:50Speaker 2: but I've definitely pared down, whereas I don't have that
- 47:52Speaker 2: many because you don't need that many anymore. Growing up,
- 47:56Speaker 2: my dad had a wat of keys on his keychain. Yeah,
- 48:00Speaker 2: he probably had seventy five keys on you.
- 48:03Speaker 4: Yeah, you were important, right he had?
- 48:05Speaker 2: So like, what did all these go to?
- 48:07Speaker 4: And more keys you had.
- 48:08Speaker 2: Nobody knows right you were.
- 48:10Speaker 3: I'd like to have a lot of key chains just
- 48:12Speaker 3: because it's hard for me to find it in my purse,
- 48:15Speaker 3: like just grabbing it, because that's the thing I don't
- 48:17Speaker 3: like look through my purse. I'm just feeling to try
- 48:19Speaker 3: and find my keys. So now I have a big,
- 48:21Speaker 3: fat chicken wing keychain and not hel set, so actually
- 48:24Speaker 3: chicken wing. It's the size of a chicken wing too.
- 48:26Speaker 3: It's like this big and it's easy to go in
- 48:29Speaker 3: there and grab and find. But you'll see my keychain
- 48:32Speaker 3: is pretty massive. But I also have the hook to
- 48:34Speaker 3: where my car key and my house keys separate, because
- 48:36Speaker 3: when I go on walks, yeah, I don't need the
- 48:38Speaker 3: whole chicken wing and everything. I just need my house keys.
- 48:42Speaker 4: So I take them off a lot. And so this
- 48:44Speaker 4: is a fear of mine to lose my keys.
- 48:46Speaker 2: No idea where they're at.
- 48:47Speaker 4: Such a fear.
- 48:47Speaker 3: Three weeks and you've looked everywhere, right everywhere, probably twenty.
- 48:51Speaker 2: Times, and it's frustrating because yes, you go back to
- 48:53Speaker 2: the same drawer fifteen times. You check that hook that
- 48:56Speaker 2: I pay them on every night. You know, yep, still
- 48:59Speaker 2: not there. They didn't magically walk back up the wall
- 49:02Speaker 2: and hang themselves up. No, so anyway, uh again, ariat keychain.
- 49:07Speaker 2: If anybody finds it, uh anywhere, please reach out to me.
- 49:11Speaker 4: Side note, you are hanging your keys by your door? Still?
- 49:15Speaker 2: Well yeah, right? Is that what I just heard? Well,
- 49:17Speaker 2: it's near like the garage door. He locks his doors.
- 49:20Speaker 2: It's okay.
- 49:21Speaker 4: No, no, no.
- 49:21Speaker 3: If somebody breaks into your house, that's the first thing
- 49:24Speaker 3: they do is they take your keys.
- 49:25Speaker 4: Now they have your cars, now they have a way
- 49:28Speaker 4: into your house. No, don't do that. You keep it
- 49:31Speaker 4: way far away from your door. Don't put your key.
- 49:34Speaker 2: That is ridiculous. No, it's not. That's like that sounds inconvenient. Honestly,
- 49:39Speaker 2: I don't have to worry about right now because my
- 49:41Speaker 2: keys are probably laying into's parking lot or something. They
- 49:44Speaker 2: ain't getting nothing from me, Katie, I don't have to
- 49:47Speaker 2: worry about that at all. Okay, leather aariat keychain. It
- 49:51Speaker 2: smells like leather watter keys. Reach out Jeremy at makes
- 49:54Speaker 2: one hundred dot com if you wouldn't mind emailing me,
- 49:56Speaker 2: Thank you well. Josh has been dating Prince, says pilot
- 50:00Speaker 2: this new girl for how long?
- 50:02Speaker 4: No, Boddy, like nine months.
- 50:04Speaker 2: Right, uh yeah, yeah, about coming up on a year.
- 50:08Speaker 2: This is a kind of a rack day for I've
- 50:11Speaker 2: known Josh for a long time. What are we going
- 50:13Speaker 2: on now, man? Six seven years?
- 50:17Speaker 14: Yeah?
- 50:17Speaker 2: Yeah, generally how many girls he goes through every week?
- 50:21Speaker 2: Six seven, six seven?
- 50:22Speaker 4: So come ont okay.
- 50:25Speaker 2: Not too wrong. He's trying to defend Josh. Anyway. I've
- 50:31Speaker 2: met this Princess Pilot a few times, and each time
- 50:35Speaker 2: I meet her, I started getting different vibes from her
- 50:39Speaker 2: each and every time. And then I heard this thing
- 50:41Speaker 2: this morning about what she did to you yesterday. You
- 50:45Speaker 2: want to explain what happened?
- 50:47Speaker 5: Yeah, it was just interesting to me because I was
- 50:51Speaker 5: at the Chicken fight thing yesterday with Katie and in
- 50:53Speaker 5: the middle of that, I got a text message and
- 50:55Speaker 5: it was kind of like a sad, upset text message,
- 50:58Speaker 5: and it was her realizing that yesterday was her half
- 51:02Speaker 5: birthday and we didn't do anything for it, and it
- 51:04Speaker 5: was almost on me for not remembering that it was
- 51:08Speaker 5: her half birthday.
- 51:10Speaker 2: Discuss I'm sorry out.
- 51:13Speaker 5: And so I ended up having to kind of cut
- 51:16Speaker 5: my time with Katie last night shorter, because in the
- 51:19Speaker 5: moments of texting back and forth with her. We created
- 51:22Speaker 5: a plan to go kind of celebrate her half birthirthday
- 51:27Speaker 5: with some mini putt putt and some cookies that she
- 51:30Speaker 5: likes and some candles and a birthday sash and hold
- 51:34Speaker 5: up the.
- 51:34Speaker 2: Sash, sash is my birthday? A half birthday sash. This
- 51:40Speaker 2: is why I stayed calling her Princess Pilot, because she
- 51:43Speaker 2: needs to be treated like a princess, and she does.
- 51:46Speaker 2: I will she does be treated like a Now when
- 51:50Speaker 2: does she get out of middle school? Today? Got to
- 51:52Speaker 2: go pick her up at three fifteen. No, she's in
- 51:56Speaker 2: her thirties, dude, she is. And so she's thirty so
- 51:59Speaker 2: and a half and it's thirty and a half.
- 52:03Speaker 4: You know my half birthdays.
- 52:05Speaker 2: She's not even in her twenties. No, but you's got
- 52:08Speaker 2: a three.
- 52:09Speaker 5: This is the thing some people, it's a huge deal.
- 52:11Speaker 5: And we have gotten text from both sides.
- 52:13Speaker 2: It's so dumb. This is okay. I feel like I'm
- 52:18Speaker 2: gonna hurt some feelings. I know you.
- 52:21Speaker 4: This is incredib lightly.
- 52:23Speaker 2: Incredibly immature. It's to me, it screams immaturity and self centeredness.
- 52:30Speaker 2: So why am I not doing it? But it's immature
- 52:34Speaker 2: and it's very self centered to say it's my half birthday.
- 52:36Speaker 2: Everybody may make this day all about me. Now I
- 52:40Speaker 2: need two birthdays.
- 52:41Speaker 5: I mean it. I think it's incredibly silly too, but
- 52:45Speaker 5: I also think it's it's something that I will say
- 52:49Speaker 5: a lot of women enjoy a lot of women do this.
- 52:52Speaker 5: I mean, this is not the first time, because who
- 52:55Speaker 5: does like to be celebrated.
- 52:57Speaker 2: Once a year? It's special once a year. Once you
- 53:00Speaker 2: start doing it twice a year, it's not special. When
- 53:03Speaker 2: do we stop? When's your quarter birthday, my half birthday,
- 53:07Speaker 2: my three quarter birthday, my real birthday, my birthday month,
- 53:12Speaker 2: my birthday year.
- 53:13Speaker 3: Okay, I mean, come on, step back and look at
- 53:18Speaker 3: this from fifty thousand feet.
- 53:20Speaker 4: It's stupid.
- 53:22Speaker 2: We're not getting poor girl. She is not getting a
- 53:24Speaker 2: lot of poor Princess. Listen, I know people are texting
- 53:27Speaker 2: like crazy, call us try to defend this. Am I
- 53:29Speaker 2: way off and Princess Pilot is onto something. I want
- 53:33Speaker 2: to talk to you. It's a fun Friday show and
- 53:34Speaker 2: I'm sorry I called you immature. Three three three oh
- 53:39Speaker 2: three six nine one sixteen forty nine. Phone lines are open,
- 53:43Speaker 2: called get in my kitchen. Defend this? Can anybody defend it?
- 53:47Speaker 2: Can half Careday. My wife texted in and she said,
- 53:51Speaker 2: oh my god, please tell me this half birthday thing
- 53:54Speaker 2: is made up? Did Josh make this up? And no,
- 53:57Speaker 2: he didn't. And then and then she wrote in again
- 54:01Speaker 2: and said, oh my god, he bought her a sash see, And.
- 54:04Speaker 4: Here's my in my world.
- 54:06Speaker 3: I'm just thinking, like, if you want to give something
- 54:09Speaker 3: a label, as far as we're gonna hang out and
- 54:11Speaker 3: celebrate something, I'm fine with that. If you're you know,
- 54:14Speaker 3: enjoying each other's company, and if in that you know
- 54:17Speaker 3: realm you're talking about how six months from now is
- 54:20Speaker 3: your real birthday?
- 54:20Speaker 4: I don't mind it. I guess this is what I'm saying.
- 54:23Speaker 3: Maybe it's because I've had, you know, a little gen
- 54:25Speaker 3: zer and I've had to raise her, and so I've
- 54:27Speaker 3: dealt with this, like you know.
- 54:30Speaker 2: You know what's funny even more to me is that
- 54:33Speaker 2: it's not Josh going to Princess Pilot and saying, hey,
- 54:36Speaker 2: it's you, it's your half birthday. It's kind of a
- 54:38Speaker 2: cutesy thing, right for a boyfriend to acknowledge that and
- 54:41Speaker 2: be like, hey, let's go out at your half birthday,
- 54:43Speaker 2: you know, kind of in a silly fun way, it's her. Yeah,
- 54:45Speaker 2: it's self proclamation right, Clearly she's done my half birthday.
- 54:50Speaker 4: Yeah, this has been a thing. Clearly this has been
- 54:53Speaker 4: a thing.
- 54:53Speaker 2: But bones are blown up. I want to talk to you, guys.
- 54:55Speaker 2: I gotta play a quick song. We're gonna be back
- 54:57Speaker 2: in about three minutes and thirty seconds, but please sound off.
- 55:00Speaker 2: I want to hear your opinion. Am I way off base?
- 55:03Speaker 2: And Princess Pilot is onto something. We're gonna try to
- 55:06Speaker 2: zip through these people because I just want to take
- 55:08Speaker 2: like a quick like poll on all this. Okay, so
- 55:11Speaker 2: when you call in, let's be quick. Just say half yes,
- 55:14Speaker 2: half no. And if you want to give a quick explanation,
- 55:18Speaker 2: are you for the half birthday or against the half birthday?
- 55:22Speaker 2: And I love the guy who went off about sashes
- 55:25Speaker 2: just a minute ago in our text line that oh
- 55:27Speaker 2: my god, she needed a sash, had some problems with
- 55:30Speaker 2: sashes apparently, let's get your thoughts. Three oh three, six
- 55:33Speaker 2: nine one, sixteen forty nine. Juliette, welcome to the show.
- 55:36Speaker 2: Are you four or against the half birthday?
- 55:40Speaker 11: Against it?
- 55:42Speaker 2: Thank you very much? Really quick you want to tell
- 55:44Speaker 2: us why it's silly?
- 55:48Speaker 13: I've never heard of that, even being a girl, and
- 55:51Speaker 13: I'm twenty eight. Never heard of that, never heard of
- 55:55Speaker 13: anybody I've known that does stuff like that. I do
- 55:57Speaker 13: have a question, though, Yeah, so does he know if
- 56:03Speaker 13: this comes from like her childhood, like does her did
- 56:05Speaker 13: her parents do this for her? Or was this something
- 56:08Speaker 13: that started when she became an adult?
- 56:10Speaker 2: You know what, I think it's like a tradition thing.
- 56:12Speaker 2: I think it is.
- 56:13Speaker 5: It was made a big deal as a child, so
- 56:14Speaker 5: now it's made a big deal as an adult.
- 56:16Speaker 3: You know.
- 56:16Speaker 2: There you Goeh, all right, Juliet, we have you down
- 56:18Speaker 2: for no it's silly. Thank you for being the voice
- 56:21Speaker 2: of reason. Kevin, Hey, well.
- 56:26Speaker 16: I'm definitely against it. I think it's ridiculous, but I
- 56:28Speaker 16: have a slightly different take on it. Okay, my birthday
- 56:32Speaker 16: is in January, in the middle of January, and it's
- 56:36Speaker 16: the worst possible time to have a birthday. So about
- 56:40Speaker 16: twenty years ago, I was thinking, I freaking hate my birthdays.
- 56:45Speaker 16: January nineteenth. Yeah, and then I was like, dude, you're
- 56:48Speaker 16: a grown ass man. You can celebrate your birthday whenever.
- 56:52Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 56:53Speaker 16: I chance to June nineteenth and called it Kevin, fast,
- 56:59Speaker 16: did you do It's not every year.
- 57:03Speaker 2: Okay, I like to.
- 57:04Speaker 16: Say, Kevin Fast is an annual event that takes place
- 57:07Speaker 16: every four to six years.
- 57:09Speaker 2: But in general, you're you're you're no, you're in camp.
- 57:12Speaker 14: No, No, it's freaking ridiculous.
- 57:15Speaker 2: It's freaking ridiculous, Kevin. Thank you very much for your vote. Judy,
- 57:18Speaker 2: what's your vote for the half birthday?
- 57:21Speaker 6: I'm against the way that she is doing it, but
- 57:23Speaker 6: not against the actual just giving yourself joy.
- 57:27Speaker 2: Okay, so yes on giving yourself joy. Thank you. I
- 57:30Speaker 2: put you in camp. Yes, here is Brian. Brian, welcome
- 57:33Speaker 2: to the show.
- 57:35Speaker 14: Thank you.
- 57:36Speaker 2: Half birthday? Yes or no?
- 57:38Speaker 6: Oh?
- 57:38Speaker 14: Definitely no, I agree with you. So it's like, when
- 57:42Speaker 14: will it end? I know, three quarter birthday, you know,
- 57:46Speaker 14: half birthday, you know, three quarters whatever, Just like when
- 57:49Speaker 14: will end? It won't.
- 57:50Speaker 2: This is my January birthday, it's my February birthday, it's
- 57:53Speaker 2: my Mark's birthday. You know you're right, I will never
- 57:56Speaker 2: end brand.
- 57:57Speaker 14: When I was born on this day of this month.
- 57:58Speaker 14: We're going to celebrate that.
- 58:00Speaker 2: Everyone, right, I was born on the twenty first. Everything
- 58:02Speaker 2: twenty one is about me. Brian. I have your vote.
- 58:05Speaker 2: Thank you so much. Martha, Welcome to the show. Half birthday,
- 58:08Speaker 2: yes or no?
- 58:10Speaker 11: Yes, And it's literally because my daughter is born in
- 58:13Speaker 11: December and you can't really throw birthday party in December. Yeah,
- 58:16Speaker 11: we do a private party for her.
- 58:19Speaker 2: Oh that's ridiculous, member, and.
- 58:21Speaker 11: Then a public one for her friends and everybody in June.
- 58:25Speaker 2: Was she born on Christmas?
- 58:27Speaker 7: Why is it?
- 58:28Speaker 11: Why is there a bad things to pay things? There's
- 58:30Speaker 11: literally like national donut Day National.
- 58:34Speaker 9: Why can't we just celebrate.
- 58:35Speaker 2: A birthday because I don't have to put a sash
- 58:37Speaker 2: on when it's donut Day. Reach Martha three three six
- 58:40Speaker 2: nine one sixteen forty nine, Martha, we appreciate your vote.
- 58:44Speaker 2: Here is Peggy? Peggy?
- 58:45Speaker 4: Yes or no?
- 58:46Speaker 2: On the half birthday?
- 58:48Speaker 15: Well, I'm kind of half in half and I think.
- 58:50Speaker 2: Oh, you got to pick a side.
- 58:53Speaker 15: Well, the way she's doing it, I would say no
- 58:57Speaker 15: because when my kids were little, I never heard of
- 59:01Speaker 15: a half birthday. But their grandma was never able to
- 59:05Speaker 15: see the kids until summer, and they were born in
- 59:07Speaker 15: the winter, so every summer when she saw them, she
- 59:10Speaker 15: would celebrate their half birthday and make a cake.
- 59:12Speaker 2: That's a little different than a girlfriend proclaiming, yeah, this
- 59:15Speaker 2: is my half birthday, give me a sash and I
- 59:17Speaker 2: think you put a candle in a cook you.
- 59:18Speaker 5: Hit the nail on the head when they were little,
- 59:20Speaker 5: when they were little as kiddos.
- 59:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna put her in yes though, because I
- 59:23Speaker 2: feel like she was a yes. All right, thank you, Peggy.
- 59:25Speaker 2: I'm going to squeeze two more in on our little pole. Here, Dean,
- 59:30Speaker 2: for the half birthday or against it?
- 59:33Speaker 6: Completely against it, that's lame.
- 59:37Speaker 2: Thank you for your vote, sir, Thank you for summing
- 59:40Speaker 2: it up fantastic. Here is Amber Hi, Amber.
- 59:45Speaker 6: Hi, Okay, Dean, I'm yes, and this is actually Princess
- 59:48Speaker 6: Pilot Jerepine. Oh yeah, I wanted to say, I don't
- 59:52Speaker 6: think it's ridiculous to want a sash and celebrate my
- 59:55Speaker 6: half birthday and have one thing made out of pine
- 59:57Speaker 6: like you get on a half birthday. Gosh, if you
- 1:00:01Speaker 6: think we're going to do that special stuff in the
- 1:00:03Speaker 6: bedroom on your birthday, you have another thing coming. And
- 1:00:06Speaker 6: I'm no longer going to rent out the Regal theater
- 1:00:09Speaker 6: for you so we can have a special screening of
- 1:00:12Speaker 6: Biodome starring College.
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: And we will leave it there. The consensus is no,
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: don't ever do it. Sports really quick, ladies, if you're
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: looking for your husbands and your busy friends. I guess
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: today is like national fantasy football draft dates, where all
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: the guys get together and make their picks and try
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: to avoid their wives and girlfriends for many, yeah, forever,
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: hopefully here's your fun song. Yeah you're right, Bill Assume.
- 1:00:59Speaker 5: Oh yeah, you can say about it insignificant others.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: Yeah, ah, this bump dudes, Good for you, guys.
- 1:01:07Speaker 5: What else is going on, Joss, he'son quiet. We got
- 1:01:09Speaker 5: to talk about what the frick happened in Tennessee last night.
- 1:01:11Speaker 5: A sixteen year old girl stormed the field of a
- 1:01:15Speaker 5: middle school football game and absolutely clocks a player down there.
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: I don't know why.
- 1:01:21Speaker 5: I've looked everywhere to see if like a scuffle happened
- 1:01:24Speaker 5: and it was her brother or something.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: I can't figure out what happened.
- 1:01:28Speaker 5: It was right after the opposing team, uh scored a
- 1:01:31Speaker 5: touchdown and they were following the next play, and she
- 1:01:35Speaker 5: comes out of the stands and just flatlines this person
- 1:01:39Speaker 5: like close lines destroys this little kid. And then after
- 1:01:41Speaker 5: the kid tries to get up, she pushes him down again.
- 1:01:44Speaker 5: So then the coaches run on the field and the
- 1:01:47Speaker 5: referees stop the game and.
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: She gets escorted off.
- 1:01:50Speaker 5: The police were called and she is now being arrested
- 1:01:53Speaker 5: on assault and disorderly Condoctly, this is a big deal. Like,
- 1:01:56Speaker 5: she is a sixteen year old girl kind of ruining
- 1:01:58Speaker 5: her life here.
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: She hopped up on something. I don't know. Her parents
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: were at the Gummy Bears. She's like, what you say
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: by my mom? She's not in jail anymore. What the
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: heck happened?
- 1:02:09Speaker 5: She destroys this dude, Like this poor little eighth grader
- 1:02:12Speaker 5: has no idea what's coming. Don't worry. No injuries are reported.
- 1:02:15Speaker 5: He was in full football pad.
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: So I don't know why bring it?
- 1:02:18Speaker 8: Bring it.
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: She laid him out.
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: I mean just his pride getting laid out by a girl.
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: But I mean the tackling form honestly was superb. She
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: crushed it. Let's get her on the coaching staff with me.
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: I'm getting on a team, I mean and hired.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: Please, you thought you'd heard it all.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: Just when you think you've seen everything, not even close.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: Who's spiraling, who's getting canceled? What's the local buzz?
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: What can we expect?
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: We're diving headfirst into the chaos. It's the mile.
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: High height Yeah, what's what's what's up.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: With jkj on Nix one hundred.
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: Well, there was a time where I sat down with
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: sweet nick Knack, my wife, and we watched every damn
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: season of Dancing with the Stars. Oh yeah, haven't in
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: a while, but I might be back because I know
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: she's a fan, and I'm a fan too of Julia Stiles,
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: and they're saying that she's gonna be a part of
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: season thirty five. The whole rumor mill is going right
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: now for the so called celebrities they're gonna be on
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: Dancing with the Stars. But I know Ten Things I
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: Hate About You is one of Nicknack's most favorite movies,
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: and Save the Last Dance as one of mine. So yeah,
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: Julius Stiles maybe on the thirty fifth season of Dancing
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: with the Stars. I think they're thirty five me good
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: coming out September fifteenth, So that's kind of really exciting. Actually,
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: I love her. Yeah. There is a story about Harrison
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: Ford out this morning, and I'm always found this funny
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: that he's made it no secret that he is sick
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: of the Indiana Jones song. He's made jokes about that
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: stupid song is following me everywhere I go. But he
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: was recently on Sesame Street and I was tuning in
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: with the entire cast of Shrinking, which is one of
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: my favorite TV shows, which side note, Shrinking is not
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: a kids show, so I'm surprised they had the whole
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: cast on Sesame Street. Anyway, he's making the rounds on
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: the socials today because Harrison Ford shared a cookie with
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: Cookie Monster, and you want to hear what happened as Yeah,
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: I'm gonna tell you if you see the video, Like
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: he actually gets really into it. So it is like
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: the cute factor of like eight point seven on that.
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: And why does the beginning of that sound like every
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: time I have to listen to Katie eat, well, I'm.
- 1:04:55Speaker 4: When I eat, I do that though there may be
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: a little bit of that though.
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: Okay, Boosted skirts they're a problem for police apparently, do
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: you know what these are?
- 1:05:09Speaker 4: Boosted skirts?
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: So apparently folks are going into retail establishments with skirts
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: that are pretty big and then stealing things by putting
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: them underneath them. So the Douglas County Sheriff's Office they
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: are dealing with this specifically, and they've called them the
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: boosted skirt band.
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: How big are we can walk out with them, you
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: can see well.
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: No, but you maybe be able to hide a trainer
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: under there, depending on the circumference of your skirt. But again,
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: think of like a hula hoop around somebody's skirt on
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: the bottom where it's close to the floor, and then
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: that coming all the way up to somebody's waist. I mean,
- 1:05:43Speaker 3: that's a good amount of surface area to be able
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: to put things in there. And they've got pockets and
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: all kinds of things that strategically hold those things in
- 1:05:51Speaker 3: place too. So if you were just looking at somebody
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: with one of these skirts, you wouldn't know that there's
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: like thousands of dollars worth.
- 1:05:59Speaker 4: Of merchandise cookies. So well, yeah, here's the thing.
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: Walgreens specifically being targeted because of the makeup. Makeup is expensive,
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: especially if you buy it at Walgreens, and they honestly
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: are really having to crack down on that specifically. They
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: say retail theft in Colorado is a one point three
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: billion dollar industry with a be guys, So not only
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: will they have these skirts, but they'll have a lookout person,
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: so they'll have a person take the item and conceal
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: it and get out of the store as somebody else
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: is completely taking the attention away from them. So they
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: are being a distraction. And so this is a whole
- 1:06:37Speaker 3: theft ring. I theft ring in the Metro area.
- 1:06:44Speaker 4: I don't think you realize.
- 1:06:45Speaker 3: So like when they do, like they're like, hey, we've
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: got a spill over here, can you come help me
- 1:06:49Speaker 3: do this?
- 1:06:49Speaker 4: Like they are very very first, it's not and it
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: is very.
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: Effective, and they're getting people's you know, I mean, it's
- 1:06:58Speaker 3: really causing a problem.
- 1:06:59Speaker 4: So that's what they're saying.
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: I'm glad you told me that there's pockets. Think there's
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: pockets over there, because I thought for sure they were
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: shoving mascaratt in their butt cracks. No clinching. They sound
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: like when they clinch.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: But she's got the mic, the moxie, and a brand
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: full of doctor Philery runs.
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: She's all, we walk the duck on a joom bug.
- 1:07:28Speaker 6: But can you take down Katie in pop culture?
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: SmackDown? This is Katie Crush?
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: Yes, can you do it? That is the big question.
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: Gina made her way in Hi Gina, good morning.
- 1:07:40Speaker 7: Good morning.
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: Well how do you do tell us? Are you good?

- 1:08:21Speaker 2: Yeah, Josh and I are over it. Josh and I
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: want her out of here.
- 1:08:27Speaker 9: I don't know if you guys, I don't know if
- 1:08:28Speaker 9: you guys could could hold hold down the floor without her.
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: No, if I were to put if somebody were to
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: call me and ask for a recommendation, the only thing
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: I'd say about Katie is difficult to work with.
- 1:08:41Speaker 4: You would say she brings snacks because I do.
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: Oh yeah, no, no, no, Gina, Gina, she smells like snacks.
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: Well maybe I do a little bit. It's smell.
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: Oh good, all right, g I'm gonna give you and

- 1:09:05Speaker 2: she made up the rules. So Katie, get out of here,
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: go in the next room.
- 1:09:09Speaker 3: First, I want to say, Gen, I know how hard
- 1:09:11Speaker 3: it is being a single mom, so I hope you.
- 1:09:13Speaker 11: Win again this guys.
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: Yeah, goode of course, because she can't hold out a
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: man because she smells like snacks, Gina, And she's difficult,
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: she's difficult to be. Yeah, right, Josh, I'm gonna plead
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: the fifth on this one. All right, Gina, she goes
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: into the next room or she can't hear anything, and
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: I come up with the questions, so there's no cheating.
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: We'll find out if you're right or wrong once we
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: bring her back in. So let's go ahead and give
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: you your first question. Tell me what pizza company had
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: an annoying mascot called Thenoyed.
