- 0:20Speaker 1: Hey, everyone, welcome to Bless This Mess and the True
- 0:22Speaker 1: Crump Podcast. I Don't Care, here's do say. Heystu, Hey,
- 0:25Speaker 1: all right, we're back this week and we are actually
- 0:27Speaker 1: going to be covering the new Netflix documentary, The Gabby
- 0:31Speaker 1: Patito One, because I watched it. I watched all three
- 0:35Speaker 1: episodes and I was so angry, so I had to
- 0:39Speaker 1: have to get my feelings out.
- 0:41Speaker 2: You gotta get your feels out.
- 0:42Speaker 1: That's why my feels out, because I guess during this
- 0:47Speaker 1: timeframe I was I think I was, you know, I've
- 0:52Speaker 1: been pregnant for like fourteen years. I think this is
- 0:55Speaker 1: one of those times where I was. I missed a
- 0:57Speaker 1: lot while I was pregnant all those times, the first
- 1:00Speaker 1: two times because it was like COVID and you know,
- 1:05Speaker 1: having children and stuff, and I didn't follow a lot
- 1:07Speaker 1: of these things, so I didn't really I mean, I
- 1:09Speaker 1: was aware of this, but I didn't follow it at
- 1:11Speaker 1: the time, so I was unaware of most of this.
- 1:16Speaker 1: The detail tells Drink that we're going on everything. So anyways,
- 1:21Speaker 1: the Netflix documentary is really good, so I would suggest
- 1:26Speaker 1: watching that. But we're going to cover all three episodes,
- 1:29Speaker 1: and technically one of the crimes did occur in Florida,
- 1:32Speaker 1: so it is still southern.
- 1:34Speaker 2: So is that what you're going with? That's what I'm
- 1:37Speaker 2: going that's what you're going to try and sell.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Yeah, So if anybody comes at me and was like, hey,
- 1:41Speaker 1: it's not even southern, Okay.
- 1:42Speaker 2: So Southern true crime road trip, how's that?
- 1:45Speaker 1: Yeah, we did do the We were going to do
- 1:47Speaker 1: road trips a long time ago. If I mean we've
- 1:49Speaker 1: been doing this for seven years, I mean, that's insane.
- 1:52Speaker 1: But we don't have that many episodes to show for it.
- 1:55Speaker 2: But wow, we took a two and a half year.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Break anyway, So back at when we first started, we
- 2:02Speaker 1: did do a road trip. Because sometimes I see things
- 2:05Speaker 1: and I want to cover, but they're not in the South.
- 2:06Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, I can't talk about that one. But
- 2:08Speaker 1: it's like, so we might start doing these more often
- 2:11Speaker 1: some road trips do most of them will be in
- 2:15Speaker 1: the South, but then occasional road trip like that one
- 2:18Speaker 1: guy that episode I saw that I wanted to cover
- 2:20Speaker 1: out in California, the guy that saved the lady and
- 2:24Speaker 1: then he ended up killing the fiance. And yeah, he
- 2:31Speaker 1: was featured on like a dateline episode before.
- 2:33Speaker 2: And then he as a.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Hero and then yeah, he actually tried to shoot somebody.
- 2:39Speaker 1: So I mean that I want to cover that one
- 2:42Speaker 1: because that's like crazy, you know. So yep. Anyway, so
- 2:46Speaker 1: we're going to cover all three episodes of this and
- 2:51Speaker 1: Jinks stop it. Jinks has entered the room. He's trying
- 2:54Speaker 1: to be annoying. But we want to thank everybody on
- 2:59Speaker 1: our Patreon. You can find out how to support us
- 3:01Speaker 1: on Patreon in the show notes, Patreon dot com, slash

- 3:16Speaker 1: all the things, go check them out. Do.
- 3:21Speaker 2: I will get right on that.
- 3:22Speaker 1: I know you hate when I talk about this stuff,
- 3:24Speaker 1: but this is the business do. This is the business side.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Okay, I don't hate it. Yeah, I mean I'm just bored.
- 3:29Speaker 2: I just fell asleep.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Well you're boring. You took a part at gazebo today.
- 3:34Speaker 1: How you're boring?
- 3:37Speaker 2: And then I gotta sand it and stay in it
- 3:38Speaker 2: and put it back together.
- 3:39Speaker 1: I know I would. I would uh not use to
- 3:44Speaker 1: do that with my time, although I got real into
- 3:47Speaker 1: like cleaning the walls today at theountains. I'm not more,
- 3:52Speaker 1: much more exciting. I got me one of those swiffer.
- 3:54Speaker 1: I never I've always used like a regular swiffer, you know,
- 3:57Speaker 1: like the swiffer wet jed or whatever. But I bought
- 4:00Speaker 1: me one of those swift fer like wet dry things,
- 4:02Speaker 1: and it has changed my life. Like I cleaned every
- 4:06Speaker 1: single wall in this god forsaken open floor plan house. Yes,
- 4:12Speaker 1: whoever invented open floor plans can fucking go to hell.
- 4:15Speaker 1: That's how I feel about them. I hate open floor plans.
- 4:17Speaker 1: There is no delineation between rooms, so you never feel
- 4:21Speaker 1: like your house is cleaned, because if you start cleaning
- 4:23Speaker 1: one room, you have to clean this whole giant ass space.
- 4:25Speaker 1: But our next house do we will not. I want
- 4:27Speaker 1: I want rooms, I want I want walls. I don't
- 4:31Speaker 1: want this open floor clan.
- 4:33Speaker 2: I'm wife shit. I didn't like the first house we
- 4:37Speaker 2: bought that had open floor plan, yeah, the second house.
- 4:40Speaker 1: The problem is that all the houses these days are open.
- 4:43Speaker 1: That's all they build now is open floor plans. Yes,
- 4:46Speaker 1: And I think I think if people are really honest
- 4:48Speaker 1: with themselves, they'd be like, no, I don't actually like
- 4:50Speaker 1: an open floor plan, if they really really did some
- 4:54Speaker 1: soul searching. They'd be like, it was better we had walls.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Well, when you got a twelve hundred square foot home,
- 4:58Speaker 2: you need an open floor plan.
- 4:59Speaker 1: So it seems like, well, yeah, I mean, well, I
- 5:03Speaker 1: mean I guess I could still do for a wall.
- 5:07Speaker 1: But anyways, the problem with the open floor plan is
- 5:10Speaker 1: you can't just clean the kitchen walls and the floor.
- 5:13Speaker 1: It's like you have to just continue the whole space.
- 5:15Speaker 1: If you have a paint issue in the kitchen, like
- 5:18Speaker 1: you say you want to change the color of paint
- 5:20Speaker 1: in the kitchen, you can't do that. Or in the
- 5:22Speaker 1: living room you.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Can, especially because you don't know what the paint code is.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Yeah, Or if you have a issue with like the
- 5:28Speaker 1: like some maybe you had some damage, some water damage
- 5:31Speaker 1: or whatever. You got to paint the whole damn space.
- 5:33Speaker 1: You can't just paint just the kitchen or the living
- 5:36Speaker 1: room or whatever. So anyways, that's my rant about open
- 5:40Speaker 1: floor plans and how I hate them. Good rant, All right,
- 5:45Speaker 1: So let's go ahead and get into uh this week's
- 5:48Speaker 1: episode out of Technically Partially Florida about Gabby Potito.
- 5:55Speaker 2: I think it happened in southern Wyoming, didn't it.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Yes, that's a Southern either, all right, So this one's
- 6:04Speaker 1: gonna be a little bit different because again, we are
- 6:07Speaker 1: covering the actual Netflix documentary, so it's not like our
- 6:11Speaker 1: normal episodes. It's gonna be it's gonna be like our
- 6:13Speaker 1: Lacy Peterson one that we did, and we still needed
- 6:15Speaker 1: a third episode on that, and I promise we will
- 6:17Speaker 1: for the Patreons. I promise at some point. So we
- 6:21Speaker 1: start the documentary with Gabby's mom, Nicole, and she's pregnant
- 6:26Speaker 1: and they are obviously this is way back in the day.
- 6:28Speaker 1: They are talking about Gabby being born on March nineteenth,
- 6:31Speaker 1: nineteen ninety nine, and they named her Gabrielle Venora Pita
- 6:36Speaker 1: Petito Petita Patito. Now, just six months after Gabby was born,
- 6:42Speaker 1: her parents went on to separate, and it seemed like
- 6:46Speaker 1: it was a mutual agreement and they both remained big
- 6:49Speaker 1: parts of Gabby's life. They did on the documentary. They
- 6:53Speaker 1: didn't act like there was any animosity or anything like that.
- 6:55Speaker 1: They just kind of were like, Okay, this isn't we're young,
- 6:59Speaker 1: this isn't for us for us to be together.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Wow.
- 7:02Speaker 1: But they would be.
- 7:04Speaker 2: If they were to talk about their own relationship falling
- 7:09Speaker 2: apart while they're talking about their daughter murder. I think
- 7:12Speaker 2: it would be even if there was animosity, I wouldn't
- 7:15Speaker 2: talk about it during this Netflix documentary about their daughter.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Anyways. I'm sure it wasn't. I'm sure it wasn't all
- 7:22Speaker 1: you know, rainbows and unicorns. But they seemed to get
- 7:25Speaker 1: along and well enough to both be in I guess
- 7:29Speaker 1: the most important thing is they were both part of
- 7:30Speaker 1: Gabby's life, like one of the parents didn't just ghost
- 7:33Speaker 1: on it, you know. The situation now, Gabby was as
- 7:37Speaker 1: a child, was very loud and full of energy from
- 7:39Speaker 1: the start. She reminds me of ours. She reminded me
- 7:42Speaker 1: of our little Poots.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Too, poof that scream.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Our little feral baby that we have. Now, it appears
- 7:49Speaker 1: that her parents remarried while she was young, and both
- 7:52Speaker 1: step parents seem to be active parts of her life.
- 7:55Speaker 1: It seemed, especially the step dad, was very big in
- 7:59Speaker 1: Gabby's life. Now. Gabby was gifted in art from an
- 8:02Speaker 1: early age, and they would hand her markers and she
- 8:05Speaker 1: would just kind of draw these like the most intricate pictures.
- 8:09Speaker 1: And she was just a natural, you know, like some
- 8:11Speaker 1: people are like that, Like one of my brothers is
- 8:14Speaker 1: like that. I mean, I can't draw a stick figure,
- 8:17Speaker 1: but he could just sit there and just draw, like
- 8:19Speaker 1: from a young age. It's just, you know, some people
- 8:22Speaker 1: have it in some some people I do not have it.
- 8:25Speaker 1: I do not have it either. Now, a friend of
- 8:29Speaker 1: Gabby's and Brian's was talking about how they were in
- 8:32Speaker 1: a group of mainly guy friends and her and Gabby
- 8:35Speaker 1: were pretty much the only girls. Now, she said, they
- 8:38Speaker 1: hung out with the cooler, older guys, and Brian, the
- 8:43Speaker 1: future star of our episode, was one of those cool guys.
- 8:49Speaker 1: But they were not They were not cool if you
- 8:51Speaker 1: asked me. They look like losers to me. But anyways,
- 8:57Speaker 1: but as young high school girls, I guess they thought
- 9:00Speaker 1: because they were a couple of years older than them,
- 9:01Speaker 1: they thought that they were cool. Now, Brian was living
- 9:06Speaker 1: out of his car and basically just crashing on people's couches,
- 9:10Speaker 1: and the friend of Gabby and Brian's told Brian that
- 9:15Speaker 1: he could stay at her parents' house because they had
- 9:17Speaker 1: an extra bedroom. Hopefully she got her parents okay, now, hey,
- 9:21Speaker 1: I'm going to bring this loser to come stay at
- 9:23Speaker 1: our house, Mom and dad. Now, Brian seemed to be
- 9:25Speaker 1: trying to make something happen with this friend, but she
- 9:28Speaker 1: claims that she saw him more as a brother and
- 9:30Speaker 1: nothing happened, although I found she was a little bit
- 9:33Speaker 1: giddy when talking about him sto to this day when
- 9:38Speaker 1: she knows how dolls all went down, she got she
- 9:40Speaker 1: would be like kind of giggle and stuff when she
- 9:42Speaker 1: talk about him, and I'm like, what is wrong with you?
- 9:45Speaker 1: Like she was giggling. See, oh, he had a crush
- 9:46Speaker 1: on me, and I told him we were just friends.
- 9:49Speaker 1: But I mean, you know what he did. You know
- 9:51Speaker 1: who he is at this point, and you're all giddy
- 9:55Speaker 1: and alleged, no, not allegedly, Stuart, what is wrong with you?
- 10:01Speaker 1: So Brian. He then moved to Long Island in March
- 10:04Speaker 1: in March of twenty nineteen, and this is where he
- 10:06Speaker 1: says he sees Gabby leaving a deli and he ran
- 10:10Speaker 1: up to her and embraced her and described it as
- 10:12Speaker 1: love at first sight. So I guess they made it
- 10:15Speaker 1: like that was the first time they'd seen each other,
- 10:16Speaker 1: but so, I don't know, it seemed a little starry
- 10:20Speaker 1: eyed for me. I'm not really into that.
- 10:24Speaker 2: And that what you thought was the first time you
- 10:25Speaker 2: saw me? No, ran up your life.
- 10:28Speaker 1: No, So Gabby says that she felt the same way,
- 10:31Speaker 1: but was still not She was just still wasn't really
- 10:34Speaker 1: telling her parents. I don't know, she was, you know,
- 10:37Speaker 1: like just hiding something from her parents. I guess. Now
- 10:41Speaker 1: the parents liked Brian for the most part, but at
- 10:44Speaker 1: this point he looked to me, he looked like a
- 10:46Speaker 1: thirty four year old accountant. He was like he had
- 10:49Speaker 1: like his head shape, but it was because he was
- 10:51Speaker 1: going bald already. Yay, hey, hey, anyways, I don't know
- 10:55Speaker 1: he I mean, Gabby was very young and pretty and
- 10:58Speaker 1: seemed full of life, and Ryan seemed weird, awkward and
- 11:01Speaker 1: like he should like he would be the guy who'd
- 11:04Speaker 1: bring like Brussels sprouts to the office and.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Heat him up in the way or fish.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Yes, so I mean to me, it was like he
- 11:13Speaker 1: definitely outkicked his coverage too, if you will, if you
- 11:17Speaker 1: say now. She enjoyed documenting her life on TikTok because
- 11:22Speaker 1: this is current time, so TikTok was around and other
- 11:25Speaker 1: social media sites, so there is a lot of video
- 11:28Speaker 1: of her and Brian, which makes this even more you know, surreal,
- 11:32Speaker 1: because you actually have so much I mean, anybody who's
- 11:36Speaker 1: murdered from like starting from like twenty I would say,
- 11:41Speaker 1: twenty eighteen and on. There's so much if there have
- 11:46Speaker 1: any social media presence, there's so much video in.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Everything of him besides the facebooks or whatever. And then
- 11:51Speaker 2: you have the youtubes, the tiktoks and yeah, all the
- 11:55Speaker 2: other things, the podcasts. Yes, oh god, what happens when
- 11:59Speaker 2: we die? If we could quit paying for it, they'll
- 12:03Speaker 2: just we'll delete everything.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, so's it's kind of crazy because there's just
- 12:11Speaker 1: so much footage of them and them recording themselves with
- 12:14Speaker 1: their phone, not even stuff they just posted on social media,
- 12:17Speaker 1: but just the I mean, think about how many pictures
- 12:19Speaker 1: and videos we have in our phones that people never
- 12:22Speaker 1: had that in the past. I mean, they had like
- 12:24Speaker 1: their big clunky video camera that they'd haul out, but
- 12:27Speaker 1: it wasn't like now where you can literally record your
- 12:30Speaker 1: entire day. I mean, I think I have a video
- 12:32Speaker 1: from probably every single day of my life for years
- 12:36Speaker 1: now at this point, like you usually you are pulling
- 12:37Speaker 1: your phone out to record something, especially if you have kids.
- 12:40Speaker 1: So anyway, it's kind of just interesting that they were
- 12:43Speaker 1: able to have so much video footage of them.
- 12:47Speaker 2: In the middle of twenty nineteen, they decided what seemed
- 12:50Speaker 2: like on a whim, to move to Florida to move
- 12:52Speaker 2: in with Brian's parents, which seems like a fantastic idea.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Well they're young. It's I guess like twenty or whatever.
- 13:02Speaker 1: I don't know how old Brian was. He think he
- 13:04Speaker 1: was a couple of years older.
- 13:05Speaker 2: But it's not great pushing forty.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Now, it appeared that they just planned to do this
- 13:13Speaker 2: one day and then the next day Brian quit his job.
- 13:15Speaker 2: They took off from New York and Gabby's either a
- 13:18Speaker 2: Nissan CenTra or a Hyundai Sonata. Either way, it was
- 13:23Speaker 2: a junker. I guess that they were lucky to make
- 13:25Speaker 2: it down there.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Yes, Stu had to go look up. I couldn't remember
- 13:28Speaker 1: what kind of car. They said. Okay, it was basically like,
- 13:30Speaker 1: this car does not look like it could make it.
- 13:32Speaker 1: It was what the family's like, are you really going
- 13:34Speaker 1: to drive all that ways in this car? And they
- 13:36Speaker 1: loaded up and they I mean like literally they they
- 13:39Speaker 1: said they decided one day they were going to do it,
- 13:41Speaker 1: and then the next day they quit their jobs, and
- 13:42Speaker 1: then the next day they left.
- 13:45Speaker 2: That's ridiculous.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Yeah, well they're youngs do I guess do it while
- 13:49Speaker 1: you're young? You're free spirited. I mean, we don't know
- 13:52Speaker 1: such a lifestyle.
- 13:54Speaker 2: No we don't. Well we did. We just load up
- 13:56Speaker 2: and we're like, come on, family, let's go. We're out
- 14:01Speaker 2: going to Christmas markets. Gabby and Brian documented their journey,
- 14:06Speaker 2: and they seemed to be just living in.
- 14:08Speaker 1: A bubble, like their own little world.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Yes, well they're young, Kara, Yes, they're young. Now, the
- 14:14Speaker 2: friend of theirs, which we don't have a name on
- 14:16Speaker 2: what I call her Giggles.
- 14:18Speaker 1: I tried to look. I can't remember them ever even
- 14:21Speaker 1: saying her name or putting it underneath her. They didn't
- 14:24Speaker 1: put underneath their thing. They just said Brian and Gabby's friends.
- 14:26Speaker 1: So we're gonna call her Giggles because that's so she
- 14:28Speaker 1: would do. She'd giggle all lovey dovey like she was
- 14:32Speaker 1: a schoolgirl whenever she talked about Brian, which I found
- 14:35Speaker 1: very disturbing seeing as how this all played out, because.
- 14:41Speaker 2: After the fact, yes, Brian and Gabby were both loving
- 14:46Speaker 2: the beach life and they seem happy. But after they
- 14:49Speaker 2: were living with Brian's parents for a while, his mother, Roberta,
- 14:54Speaker 2: started exhibiting territorial behavior over Brian, and she wasn't being
- 14:59Speaker 2: very kind of Gabby either. Roberta got so upset one
- 15:04Speaker 2: night because nobody was focusing on her pie.
- 15:08Speaker 1: After they just described her behavior. I'm not sure what
- 15:11Speaker 1: pie they were talking about.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Wow, And I'm telling somebody got upset about some cookies
- 15:15Speaker 2: around here one night.
- 15:17Speaker 1: No, Stewart, No, because okay, I bake a lot of
- 15:22Speaker 1: stuff around here. I've been practicing cookie recipes and everything, and.
- 15:27Speaker 2: I've had your cookies.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Yes. Anyways, I brought some food. So work started providing
- 15:35Speaker 1: lunch for us out of under duress. They didn't want to,
- 15:39Speaker 1: but they did. Anyways, they started providing free lunch for us.
- 15:44Speaker 1: It's a whole long story, but we won't get into it.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Because I like my four one K and insurance. So
- 15:51Speaker 1: I brought it home and the meal had a cookie
- 15:53Speaker 1: and in a chocolate chip cookie, and so I gave
- 15:55Speaker 1: it to our daughter because I just thought he didn't.
- 15:58Speaker 1: I gave the meal to stew because I wasn't hungry
- 16:00Speaker 1: and us in everything, and he left the cookie in
- 16:03Speaker 1: the bag, and so I saw the cookie. I was like, oh,
- 16:05Speaker 1: I saw, I gave it to our daughter and he
- 16:07Speaker 1: comes in. He's like, I was saving that cookie. I
- 16:10Speaker 1: was gonna eat that cookie. And I got so mad
- 16:13Speaker 1: because you don't know how many chocolate chip cookies I
- 16:15Speaker 1: bake in this house and he never eats them. But
- 16:17Speaker 1: all of a sudden, some bitch from some food truck
- 16:20Speaker 1: offers him a cookie.
- 16:23Speaker 2: That's how they got me in the van.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Yeah, so I was. Yeah, I was mad because he's like,
- 16:29Speaker 1: I was gonna eat that cookie. I'm like, you never
- 16:30Speaker 1: eat the cookies I bake around here.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Yeah I do.
- 16:33Speaker 1: No, you don't, no, because I force fed it to
- 16:37Speaker 1: you so he could try it. Oh well, I on anyways, Yeah,
- 16:42Speaker 1: so I did get upset about that cookie. So I
- 16:44Speaker 1: understand where Roberts.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Long story short, her and Robert her on the same page.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Yes, I'll just say if anybody's on like social media
- 16:55Speaker 1: and everything, I'll just say she's giving hashtag boy mom vibes.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Let me tell you, like those ladies that are on
- 17:02Speaker 1: on Instagram and TikTok and they're like, well, there's a
- 17:05Speaker 1: whole group they're like hashtag boy mom. And then they'll
- 17:08Speaker 1: say really creepy things like uh I no, no daughters ever,
- 17:12Speaker 1: or no woman's ever going to be able to take
- 17:14Speaker 1: the place of me and blah blah blah, like real
- 17:16Speaker 1: possessive over their sons, like little kids, like when they're little.
- 17:20Speaker 1: It's very disturbing. So Roberta was like.
- 17:23Speaker 2: That, you think I do think she was possessive over Brien.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Yes.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Roberta's attitude and behavior continued to the point that Gabby
- 17:33Speaker 2: was uncomfortable even talking to Roberta and she was complaining
- 17:37Speaker 2: to Brian about it. The mom even changed Gabrielle's address
- 17:42Speaker 2: back to her mom's. Well that's her name, I know,
- 17:45Speaker 2: but Gabby's name. Gabby's address back to her mother's in
- 17:49Speaker 2: Long Island without telling Gabby, which made things even more
- 17:53Speaker 2: awkward between Roberta and Gabby and Brian.
- 17:56Speaker 1: I'm sure, yeah, I guess she had forwarded all of
- 17:59Speaker 1: her to the home in Florida, and then Roberta quickly
- 18:04Speaker 1: undid that. I guess she got a few things in
- 18:07Speaker 1: the mill and she's like nope, and she sent it
- 18:10Speaker 1: saying that the address was now in Yeah, I won't
- 18:13Speaker 1: be back in Long Island.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Why don't you just tell these people to move out
- 18:16Speaker 2: and get their own damn place.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Because she didn't care, she didn't want them to get
- 18:19Speaker 1: move out and get their own place. She wanted Gabby
- 18:21Speaker 1: to move out and get She was very possessive over
- 18:23Speaker 1: her son. She's one of these weird moms that's like,
- 18:27Speaker 1: has boys and hers weird about them. It's uncomfortable. So
- 18:32Speaker 1: she didn't want them to get out. She wanted Gabby
- 18:34Speaker 1: to get out.
- 18:35Speaker 2: So this was her like, hey, never come back, bitch.
- 18:38Speaker 1: You don't live here, just me and my boy.
- 18:40Speaker 2: Yes, it's just kind of like old Norman.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Yes, that's what she learned. Yes. Now, in early twenty twenty,
- 18:47Speaker 1: they talk about Gabby meeting this girl named Rose Davis
- 18:51Speaker 1: on Bumble for Friends. So I guess it's like dating
- 18:55Speaker 1: but for friends. So basically it's I think Bumble is
- 18:59Speaker 1: a dating app, but I'm not real versed in the
- 19:02Speaker 1: in the dating world, but I guess you could do
- 19:04Speaker 1: it just for making friends in an area. So how
- 19:08Speaker 1: you meet friends is online, just like you would meet
- 19:11Speaker 1: and future boyfriend. So she meets Rose and they become
- 19:16Speaker 1: fast friends. They would just kind of be silly. They
- 19:18Speaker 1: would make tiktoks and just hang out. I mean Gabby
- 19:21Speaker 1: would even ride around Rose work for Dominoes, and they
- 19:26Speaker 1: showed her videos of Gabby just riding around in the
- 19:30Speaker 1: delivery insurance company.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Love that.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Yeah, So she's just riding around with her, He's hanging
- 19:36Speaker 1: out and everything, and Rose she kind of felt that
- 19:39Speaker 1: there was something off about Brian and she just couldn't
- 19:42Speaker 1: put her finger on it, but she just felt that
- 19:44Speaker 1: he kind of a dark side. So they show them
- 19:48Speaker 1: driving and Brian. So at this point in the documentary
- 19:52Speaker 1: when she's talking about his dark side or whatever, they
- 19:55Speaker 1: show a video of Brian and Gabby riding around and
- 19:59Speaker 1: Brian's driving and he gives Gabby, I don't know if
- 20:02Speaker 1: it was a real gun or a pellet gun, but
- 20:04Speaker 1: they're just and hazard just shooting it out of the
- 20:06Speaker 1: side of the car into the woods to like the
- 20:10Speaker 1: to the swamps of Old Florida. So I don't know
- 20:12Speaker 1: if it was a pellet gun or a real gun.
- 20:13Speaker 1: But that's whenever they were trying to show like the
- 20:16Speaker 1: dark side that he.
- 20:17Speaker 2: I guess that's just a good country pound right there.
- 20:20Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know what that dark side is about.
- 20:22Speaker 2: He had a gun.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Now when together, she would say that, she said that
- 20:27Speaker 1: Gabby and Brian seemed very happy, but it was when
- 20:30Speaker 1: Gabby was away from him is when he became like manipulative,
- 20:33Speaker 1: possessive and they would fight, and she talks about one
- 20:37Speaker 1: night she was going to pick Gabby up and Gabby
- 20:41Speaker 1: texts her saying, I'm crying. I'm like upset. Me and
- 20:44Speaker 1: Brian got into it, and Brian had actually taken her
- 20:48Speaker 1: ID because he didn't want her to go out with Rose.
- 20:51Speaker 1: They were going line dancing or something, so he actually
- 20:53Speaker 1: takes her ID so she couldn't go and get in
- 20:56Speaker 1: wherever she was. They were headed to that bar.
- 20:58Speaker 2: Well that's a deck move.
- 21:00Speaker 1: So Brian he would do stuff like this, He would
- 21:03Speaker 1: do something like that, kind of possessive, controlling, but then
- 21:07Speaker 1: he would quickly do a nice thing for Gabby after
- 21:10Speaker 1: getting in arguments with her and doing that mind games,
- 21:13Speaker 1: you know that, basically showing signs of like emotionally abusive
- 21:17Speaker 1: to her. Shut ups down. Yes, you're so emotionally abused
- 21:24Speaker 1: and you're with your nice little life you have here
- 21:28Speaker 1: m hm, forced into early.
- 21:31Speaker 2: Retirement, separated from my family.
- 21:38Speaker 1: He always says, I separated from his family because I've
- 21:40Speaker 1: moved him ount here to freaking Yeah. Well, you know what,
- 21:46Speaker 1: it's we're closing, we're closing in our time out here,
- 21:51Speaker 1: it's every day is one day closer to being able
- 21:54Speaker 1: to move. We do like our house though, that's despite
- 21:58Speaker 1: the open floor planned.
- 22:01Speaker 2: We like our backyard.
- 22:02Speaker 1: We like our backyard and everything. But yeah, we just
- 22:07Speaker 1: go on trips a lot. That's why we're always on
- 22:09Speaker 1: going traveling is because we live in Middland, Texas. All Right,
- 22:14Speaker 1: So Giggles is back, you know, the one friend is
- 22:18Speaker 1: talking about and how he has kind of a dark side,
- 22:20Speaker 1: the one that Gabby's been hanging out with a ton. Well,
- 22:22Speaker 1: Giggles comes back on the documentary to talk about Gabby
- 22:26Speaker 1: and Brian getting engaged in the woods. They didn't have
- 22:29Speaker 1: a ring, but a supposedly a firefly landed on Gabby's
- 22:34Speaker 1: finger while he was proposing, and they felt like it
- 22:38Speaker 1: was just meant to be since nature gave them a sign.
- 22:41Speaker 1: This is who we're dealing with. Due, Okay, they thought
- 22:44Speaker 1: it was magical and everything like that, and the way
- 22:48Speaker 1: the friends describes it as you know, just they felt
- 22:54Speaker 1: like it was fate and like I said, magical.
- 22:58Speaker 2: So they went to the wood smoked a lot of po.
- 23:01Speaker 1: No, I don't think they did stuff like that. Yeah, anyways,
- 23:05Speaker 1: but the way that the friend Giggles, you know, is
- 23:07Speaker 1: talking about it. She just goes like just waxing poetically
- 23:10Speaker 1: about how magical it was and everything, and I'm thinking, bitch,
- 23:13Speaker 1: you know how this turned out? Like what are you doing.
- 23:17Speaker 2: It?
- 23:17Speaker 1: Just like it's insane to me that she knows, like.
- 23:20Speaker 2: If only that firefly hadn't landed, maybe they wouldn't have
- 23:23Speaker 2: thought it was so magical, but.
- 23:25Speaker 1: It was the way she just it's way, Giggles, just
- 23:28Speaker 1: how she tells the story. She's just still, you know,
- 23:31Speaker 1: has this.
- 23:32Speaker 2: How it ends when everybody else is watching the video
- 23:36Speaker 2: and go, girl, run run, get away from him.
- 23:38Speaker 1: Now even though you don't, I mean, I know, you're
- 23:40Speaker 1: still you still have to talk about it in the
- 23:42Speaker 1: documentary as if you know they're asking you questions about it,
- 23:45Speaker 1: but you can. You don't have to be so happy
- 23:48Speaker 1: and everything, like you actually did think it was a
- 23:51Speaker 1: magical moment between them. But anyway, So that's what Giggles
- 23:55Speaker 1: is telling us that story.
- 23:57Speaker 2: Classic Giggles, Classic Giggles. Gabby's family and friends actually found
- 24:02Speaker 2: out that they were engaged from the gram or Instagram
- 24:06Speaker 2: for you old folks out.
- 24:07Speaker 1: There, Well that's the modern that's the modern day method
- 24:11Speaker 1: now would be TikTok.
- 24:12Speaker 2: I guess yes. Now. Gabby didn't really want to talk
- 24:17Speaker 2: about her engagement very much, and she seemed less and
- 24:20Speaker 2: less excited about it. As time went on. They mainly
- 24:24Speaker 2: talked about their travel plans and that they wanted to
- 24:27Speaker 2: live this van life. She said. Wedding and baby plans
- 24:30Speaker 2: got pushed back and they were going to be focusing
- 24:33Speaker 2: on this van life. Gabby worked fifty hours a week,
- 24:36Speaker 2: including working at a taco bell where she would tell
- 24:39Speaker 2: customers to have a taco tastic day.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Yeah, apparently she just she just she would tell the
- 24:46Speaker 1: Rose Girl, the friend of hers down to Florida, that
- 24:49Speaker 1: she just loved working at taco bell and saying fantastic day. God,
- 24:54Speaker 1: Gabby's a free spirit, Okay, that's just who she is.
- 24:56Speaker 1: She's she finds joy in the mundane.
- 25:01Speaker 2: Everybody else just would want to kill themselves and she's
- 25:03Speaker 2: just having a blast.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Interacting, just making the best out of whatever situation.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Is she making the best or is she just living
- 25:10Speaker 2: her best life? Well, I mean, I mean to say,
- 25:15Speaker 2: you're going to make the best of something. You know,
- 25:17Speaker 2: it's a ship deal, and you're like, Okay, I'm going
- 25:18Speaker 2: to make the best of this. Maybe she's just like
- 25:20Speaker 2: this is great, this isn't bad at all.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Okay, well, maybe I can't bell is anything other than like, what.
- 25:30Speaker 2: Are you going to be like have a taco tastic day.
- 25:33Speaker 1: I know I'm not going to. I will say she
- 25:36Speaker 1: I'm looking at this as an older person now, But
- 25:40Speaker 1: I mean I worked at a pizza restaurant. I was
- 25:42Speaker 1: not but I was not peppy. I was. I did
- 25:45Speaker 1: really well because I did my job really well in
- 25:49Speaker 1: terms of like tips and stuff. But I was in
- 25:51Speaker 1: there in Christopher walk in freezer and.
- 25:53Speaker 2: I was it because you were hungover.
- 25:56Speaker 1: I was hungover a lot, but you know you, sometimes
- 25:59Speaker 1: you got to drink together through At those times, I
- 26:03Speaker 1: was working like thirty I was working like thirty hours
- 26:06Speaker 1: a week, and I was taken at that one semester,
- 26:09Speaker 1: I was taking twenty two hours of engineering classes. It
- 26:13Speaker 1: was pretty rough so and trying to you know, nurse
- 26:18Speaker 1: some pretty healthy drinking habits.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Yes, I know, I was there.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Hey, it all worked out though, here I am.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Yeah, We're in Middland. Back to our story, Carara, Okay, okay,
- 26:37Speaker 2: long story short, all this to get to the part
- 26:39Speaker 2: where the point that Gabby she's just having this great time.
- 26:43Speaker 2: She knows that she's going to get this band, she's
- 26:45Speaker 2: going to go on the road, live this band, live
- 26:48Speaker 2: band life, and she's just happy about it all bubbly
- 26:52Speaker 2: all the time.
- 26:52Speaker 1: It seems like, yeah, she had big plans. She was
- 26:55Speaker 1: gonna create this the YouTube channel for this, and she's
- 26:59Speaker 1: really actually, I mean, very smart. I mean those people
- 27:01Speaker 1: may I mean, we just watched the or I did
- 27:04Speaker 1: the Ruby Frank documentary. Those people were making like back
- 27:09Speaker 1: in the day. I mean when I say back in
- 27:11Speaker 1: the day, it was like twenty eighteen, so when they
- 27:13Speaker 1: took off or whatever, they were getting checks for like
- 27:16Speaker 1: one hundred thousand dollars a month from YouTube from views.
- 27:19Speaker 1: I mean, you could make a ton of money off
- 27:22Speaker 1: of YouTube.
- 27:24Speaker 2: You do have to sell your soul, Ruby, Yeah, evidently
- 27:29Speaker 2: according to what you're telling me about it.
- 27:32Speaker 1: I feel like there's a way you could do it
- 27:33Speaker 1: without selling.
- 27:34Speaker 2: Your soul, but I would hope so. But anyway, so, yeah,
- 27:39Speaker 2: she had these big plans. They ended up buying a
- 27:41Speaker 2: twenty twelve four transit, converting it into a mini camper,
- 27:45Speaker 2: and during this time, Gabby was working late and she's
- 27:48Speaker 2: hanging out more with Rose when she's not working. Brian's
- 27:51Speaker 2: getting increasingly jealous, more jealous than he already was, and
- 27:55Speaker 2: he starts texting Gabby when they're apart, saying that he
- 27:59Speaker 2: was crying in a back and how much he loved her. Now,
- 28:02Speaker 2: this should have been the red flag.
- 28:05Speaker 1: She's just an innocent, optimistic girl, though she didn't think
- 28:09Speaker 1: anything about what he was doing.
- 28:11Speaker 2: So if I started texting you that I was in
- 28:13Speaker 2: the bat work, I.
- 28:16Speaker 1: Just said she was a happy, optimistic, young girl. Stewart,
- 28:23Speaker 1: I am an old, bitter bitch, pessimistic and assumes everybody's
- 28:29Speaker 1: trying to kill me until proven otherwise.
- 28:31Speaker 2: Okay, well so not much has changed in the last
- 28:34Speaker 2: fifteen years we've been together.
- 28:35Speaker 1: Yes, so that's where I'm that's my life perspective. I'm
- 28:38Speaker 1: never going to tell someone to have a taco tastic day.
- 28:42Speaker 1: But she is. That's who she is, and that's great.
- 28:45Speaker 1: I think that's she's she's I I'm not gonna say
- 28:49Speaker 1: I envy those people that can do that, but I
- 28:51Speaker 1: think they just live with a lighter They just like
- 28:54Speaker 1: they don't assume the worst in everybody. So she just
- 28:57Speaker 1: assumes he's crying in a bathroom. I see it as
- 29:00Speaker 1: manipulative asshole moves, but she sees it as like, oh
- 29:03Speaker 1: my god, I've he's so sad.
- 29:06Speaker 2: Now, believe it or not, Kara, Brian even went as
- 29:09Speaker 2: far as to call Gabby's mom and tell her that
- 29:13Speaker 2: Gabby was hanging out with very bad people. It was
- 29:16Speaker 2: clear that Brian was possessive Gabby and she was pretty naive,
- 29:21Speaker 2: as Kara said, and she was a bit of a
- 29:23Speaker 2: people pleaser. She would text him back, tell him how
- 29:27Speaker 2: much she loved him and that she didn't want him
- 29:29Speaker 2: to be sad. So this is Brian in a nutshell.
- 29:34Speaker 2: He's manipulative, little chit stain.
- 29:37Speaker 1: Yeah, she needed to find somebody else that was like
- 29:42Speaker 1: you know how they say, like they on well, you
- 29:45Speaker 1: don't know, but on Instagram or TikTok, they'll be like
- 29:48Speaker 1: my golden Retriever for husband, and it's just like this
- 29:51Speaker 1: happy go lucky. What they'd like my golden retriever for
- 29:56Speaker 1: husband or boyfriend or whatever. And it's always like this
- 29:58Speaker 1: husband or boyfriend that just comes in and he's always
- 30:01Speaker 1: like excited to see the girlfriend or the wife and
- 30:04Speaker 1: like just is just a very like happy go lucky person.
- 30:08Speaker 1: You know, she needed someone like that. You are not
- 30:10Speaker 1: a golden Retriever?
- 30:13Speaker 2: Is that what you're looking for? You subliminately telling me.
- 30:17Speaker 1: That if I was to classify you as as a dog,
- 30:27Speaker 1: here we go, you'd be like an old like Mutt.
- 30:32Speaker 2: Yes, you found a rescue, Yes, like in the pound, Yes,
- 30:38Speaker 2: senior rescue at the pound.
- 30:40Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just like.
- 30:41Speaker 2: Oh, thank god, I don't have to die in her.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Yeah, you're not a golden retriever.
- 30:48Speaker 2: What maybe I am a senior Golden Retriever?
- 30:51Speaker 1: Like you know, my one, my one of my brothers,
- 30:53Speaker 1: not the one that can draw really well, but the
- 30:55Speaker 1: other one, he's kind of a golden Retriever. I would say, yeah, yeah,
- 31:01Speaker 1: he's a bit of a golden Retriever. So she needed
- 31:03Speaker 1: a golden retriever, not this manipulative like asshole. Definitely like
- 31:09Speaker 1: a he's like a Dalmatian or whatever, or one of
- 31:12Speaker 1: those annoying Wymerriners. You know they look all cutese and everything,
- 31:20Speaker 1: but then they're just no.
- 31:23Speaker 2: Yeah, that would be one of them dogs that actually
- 31:25Speaker 2: bites you after you turn around.
- 31:27Speaker 1: Which would you try?
- 31:28Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know if a Wymer Reiner
- 31:30Speaker 2: would do that.
- 31:31Speaker 1: Oh, a wine Reiner would definitely do.
- 31:32Speaker 2: It, would attack you when you were looking. I don't
- 31:35Speaker 2: think so. I've never had one, but they seemed like
- 31:38Speaker 2: a nice time.
- 31:38Speaker 1: Well. I worked at a doggy daycare and all the
- 31:40Speaker 1: wine Riners.
- 31:41Speaker 2: Were I thought they were just higher energy.
- 31:44Speaker 1: No, they're just like it's that the people next door
- 31:48Speaker 1: have a bunch of them.
- 31:49Speaker 2: They have like two.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Maybe No, I think they rescue them because everybody that
- 31:54Speaker 1: gets him is like, oh my god, I can't handle
- 31:55Speaker 1: this dog.
- 31:56Speaker 2: See I wanted a pug and til I found out
- 31:58Speaker 2: how much they shed and I was like, Nope, not
- 32:00Speaker 2: want that.
- 32:01Speaker 1: Anyways, moving on from this episode is so long. Anyways,
- 32:04Speaker 1: moving on from the dogs. Sorry to all the wy
- 32:07Speaker 1: Mariner owners.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Are we going to talk about what kind of dog
- 32:10Speaker 2: I think you are?
- 32:11Speaker 1: No? Okay, what kind of bitch you think I am?
- 32:15Speaker 2: Stick? Wantn't he?
- 32:19Speaker 1: What is wrong with you? Okay? So anyway, so just
- 32:23Speaker 1: before they headed off, we gotta get we gotta wrap
- 32:26Speaker 1: this up. Stick. We're still not even. We still got
- 32:29Speaker 1: a long ways to go. So just before they headed
- 32:32Speaker 1: off on their big trip, Rose could see that Gabby
- 32:34Speaker 1: was starting to wise up to Brian's manipulative ways, and
- 32:38Speaker 1: she was getting tired of it. Again, she is young,
- 32:40Speaker 1: so she's learning. She's this is her first interaction with
- 32:43Speaker 1: somebody like this that she's saying, wait a minute, I'm
- 32:45Speaker 1: not really liking how what he's doing. So she starts
- 32:49Speaker 1: telling him to stop crying so much and calling her names,
- 32:52Speaker 1: because during he would call her names and say I
- 32:55Speaker 1: was crying and blah blah blah, you know, yanking her
- 32:58Speaker 1: back and forth, and so she's finally like, I need
- 33:01Speaker 1: you to stop crying.
- 33:01Speaker 2: So being such a little bitch, Brian, yes, and.
- 33:05Speaker 1: That, but she said she tells him that she needs
- 33:07Speaker 1: them to stop crying so much, but she also says
- 33:09Speaker 1: that it's killing her to see him that way. So
- 33:11Speaker 1: it's still like, I'm upset. No, I think she was
- 33:16Speaker 1: being genuine. I think it did hurt her feelings. Now.
- 33:20Speaker 1: Rose could tell that she was getting frustrated with him,
- 33:22Speaker 1: and it seemed that when Brian realized he was losing Gabby,
- 33:25Speaker 1: he pushed forward quickly with their trip to get her
- 33:27Speaker 1: back to himself so it would just be him and
- 33:30Speaker 1: Gabby on the road.
- 33:32Speaker 2: She should have told him that were leaving on a Thursday,
- 33:35Speaker 2: and she should have left on a Wednesday with their van. Yeah.
- 33:39Speaker 1: I think she did all most of the work on
- 33:40Speaker 1: the van anyways, like making it into a camper. She's
- 33:43Speaker 1: like the one working so hard to get this off
- 33:45Speaker 1: the ground. And then she was the only one that
- 33:47Speaker 1: had the foresight of like, oh, how are we going
- 33:49Speaker 1: to afford to like do this. Oh we got to
- 33:51Speaker 1: film it on YouTube and put it on YouTube to
- 33:52Speaker 1: try to make some money. Yeah, Like she's the only
- 33:54Speaker 1: one that was.
- 33:55Speaker 2: Kind supsed to love the van life driving around the country.
- 33:57Speaker 2: If you ain't got a job.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Yeah, they weren't working remote. I mean they weren't despite
- 34:01Speaker 1: of his looks, he was not an.
- 34:03Speaker 2: Accountant, and you can't tell somebody to have a tacotastic
- 34:06Speaker 2: day remotely. In June of twenty twenty one, Gabby and
- 34:12Speaker 2: Brian take off on their band life adventure to go
- 34:16Speaker 2: see the country. They first stopped by her parents' house
- 34:20Speaker 2: up in Long Island, and according to the parents, they
- 34:23Speaker 2: said that Brian was quiet the whole time, but promised
- 34:26Speaker 2: to keep their daughter safe liar. Gabby was crying as
- 34:32Speaker 2: she left and gave her mom a big hug. It
- 34:34Speaker 2: would be the last time she would ever see her
- 34:37Speaker 2: Gabby began blogging their life, but Brian thought that it
- 34:41Speaker 2: was a stupid idea and that you can see how
- 34:44Speaker 2: awkward and weird he is in the videos.
- 34:46Speaker 1: Yeah, Gabby's all like fun and showing the van and
- 34:50Speaker 1: talking to He's just like this weird, creepy dude in
- 34:52Speaker 1: the back. Right'd be like if I put Stewell.
- 34:56Speaker 2: Like if you came up with the idea for a
- 34:58Speaker 2: podcast and we're like, hey, Stull, we're gonna do this podcast, yes,
- 35:01Speaker 2: and I'd be like, that's stupid and here you are.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Who's going to listen to that?
- 35:04Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 35:05Speaker 2: Evidently nobody. So, Yes, Gabrielle was way more into this.
- 35:15Speaker 2: I don't know because that's her name. Gabby was way
- 35:19Speaker 2: more into this than Brian was. He thought it was
- 35:21Speaker 2: a dumb idea.
- 35:23Speaker 1: Again, he's stupid because that you need to pay for
- 35:26Speaker 1: the van life. That's why people have logged their van life.
- 35:29Speaker 2: Yes, it's like these travelers that blog and blog their travel. Yes,
- 35:35Speaker 2: I hate them, care because I want to be those
- 35:39Speaker 2: here I am in Italy. Whoops again, so boring. Gabby
- 35:45Speaker 2: even bought a drone to take aerial footage of their trips.
- 35:49Speaker 2: They showed the raw footage from her filming, and you
- 35:52Speaker 2: can see her and Brian, and again he's being awkward.
- 35:55Speaker 2: He looks like he's an accountant with three children and
- 36:00Speaker 2: just gready to eat a bullet.
- 36:02Speaker 1: It's like, how did I get How did I get here?
- 36:06Speaker 2: How did I get to Midland, Texas?
- 36:08Speaker 1: Because his whole thing with the van life was he
- 36:10Speaker 1: just wanted to get Gabby to himself because he obviously
- 36:14Speaker 1: was losing her and she was way better than him,
- 36:18Speaker 1: and he didn't he that's what he wanted. But the
- 36:22Speaker 1: reality is is that you have to be able to
- 36:24Speaker 1: live and pay for this, and that's what her means
- 36:26Speaker 1: to it.
- 36:26Speaker 2: Well, if she's inner webs, then a bunch of dudes
- 36:29Speaker 2: are going to.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Be like, hey girl, Yes, he's not gonna like that
- 36:32Speaker 1: her being out there, because then there's gonna be guys
- 36:34Speaker 1: message and be like, hey, I heard you're coming through
- 36:36Speaker 1: passing through such and such a national park.
- 36:39Speaker 2: Some coffee, yeah, some mushroom coffee. Anyway, you can tell
- 36:46Speaker 2: from the footage that she's not exactly happy. She seems frustrated,
- 36:50Speaker 2: even though she's trying to be upbeatn chirpy, chippy and
- 36:54Speaker 2: trying to do this this whole YouTube channel. But he's
- 36:57Speaker 2: just kind of bringing down her mood. He's a harshener vibe.
- 37:01Speaker 1: As the kids say.
- 37:02Speaker 2: Yes, she began filming more of the trip of just
- 37:08Speaker 2: herself and less of Brian, and they would still post
- 37:11Speaker 2: photos of them happy online. But in the videos she
- 37:16Speaker 2: was forced. She seemed like she was forced being happy.
- 37:20Speaker 2: Her happiness was forced.
- 37:22Speaker 1: Yes, it seemed forced. The still shot was them kissing,
- 37:26Speaker 1: but the video when they played the actual raw footage,
- 37:28Speaker 1: it's very awkward and you can tell they're just trying
- 37:31Speaker 1: to make it appear that they're It's a very similar
- 37:37Speaker 1: things happened when we were in Europe.
- 37:41Speaker 2: Stuart, because these children in line, we got a picture
- 37:45Speaker 2: and to take Yeah, I.
- 37:46Speaker 1: Mean sometimes you got to do that. Sometimes you just
- 37:48Speaker 1: need to get the picture for the moment because you're
- 37:51Speaker 1: never going to be standing in front of the Eiffel
- 37:53Speaker 1: Tower again like this, so you need to get the picture.
- 37:56Speaker 1: But you may not be the happiest. So I understand that.
- 37:58Speaker 1: You know, you're just trying to get get the photo
- 38:01Speaker 1: for the memory, but what goes into actually making the sausage.
- 38:05Speaker 1: You may not be the best.
- 38:06Speaker 2: Well mean, it's the same attitude we have when we're
- 38:08Speaker 2: in the backyard trying to take an Easter photo. Yeah,
- 38:12Speaker 2: whether we're in the front yard, backyard, or Paris, it's
- 38:15Speaker 2: the same same vibe.
- 38:17Speaker 1: Well because when you start getting this many but they're
- 38:19Speaker 1: just a couple out there, they should be freaking happy,
- 38:21Speaker 1: you know. They should be like I'm talking about, like
- 38:24Speaker 1: when you have a family and you have, like we
- 38:26Speaker 1: have three children, not one of them is going to
- 38:28Speaker 1: be mad. It's always there's always one of them that's
- 38:31Speaker 1: pissed off. They can't all just be happy at the
- 38:33Speaker 1: same time. And if one of them is too happy,
- 38:37Speaker 1: the other one that's pissed off is going to make
- 38:38Speaker 1: sure that one feels exactly the same way they do.
- 38:40Speaker 1: So they're do something to them to make them upset.
- 38:44Speaker 1: So on August twelfth, but family life is just the best.
- 38:48Speaker 2: I love the little pastards.
- 38:51Speaker 1: On August twelfth, twenty twenty one, police were called when
- 38:53Speaker 1: a passerby saw a man hitting a woman. So this
- 38:57Speaker 1: is fast forwarding. So we talked about in the doc.
- 39:00Speaker 1: They talk about the van life and start showing the
- 39:01Speaker 1: footage and then they're they're skipping to that the day
- 39:05Speaker 1: when I think a lot of us saw the only
- 39:07Speaker 1: little bit that I saw was this police footage back
- 39:11Speaker 1: when this actually happened. So yeah, So the passerby hees
- 39:15Speaker 1: tells police that someone was hitting a man was hitting
- 39:17Speaker 1: a woman, and that they were getting into a Ford
- 39:19Speaker 1: transit and they were driving erradically. Now, the police pull
- 39:23Speaker 1: over Brian and Gabby, and Gabby was very upset and
- 39:27Speaker 1: when they asked Brian about him hitting her, he says,
- 39:29Speaker 1: she just gets worked up and needs to be calmed down.
- 39:34Speaker 1: This whole like, this whole thing. I get so mad
- 39:38Speaker 1: when I watch this is like angers me. This whole
- 39:41Speaker 1: footage of these cops and everything like that. So they
- 39:45Speaker 1: get Gabby out of the car and she is crying,
- 39:48Speaker 1: saying that Brian was trying to calm her down, but
- 39:50Speaker 1: she's she said, she's normally like a really calm person
- 39:52Speaker 1: and she never gets upset. She said he was stressing
- 39:55Speaker 1: her out and they had a rough morning. Now, the
- 39:58Speaker 1: police put Gabby in the back the police car and
- 40:01Speaker 1: they go talk to Brian. Now Brian seems nervous. They
- 40:04Speaker 1: bring him out and talk to him. Now he is
- 40:06Speaker 1: complete like. So, they get a call from a passer
- 40:10Speaker 1: by a witness that says that a man is hitting
- 40:13Speaker 1: a woman and forcing her into a vehicle.
- 40:15Speaker 2: M M.
- 40:17Speaker 1: They go talk to Brian. He makes absolutely zero when
- 40:21Speaker 1: you play listen to what he says. Not one thing
- 40:24Speaker 1: he says makes sense. He was rambling, putting just random
- 40:27Speaker 1: words together, and they're like, oh yeah, buddy, I got
- 40:30Speaker 1: the same problem with my bitch back at home. Like
- 40:33Speaker 1: they didn't say that, but they might as well have
- 40:34Speaker 1: said that. So he's rambling on. They ask him about
- 40:39Speaker 1: the scratches. He has some scratches on him, and he
- 40:41Speaker 1: says something about her having a cell phone that he
- 40:44Speaker 1: locked her. He said he locked her out of the
- 40:47Speaker 1: car and that she walked away somehow getting the cell
- 40:50Speaker 1: phone back back from her. She was recording or something.
- 40:52Speaker 1: That's how he got the scratches. Again, nothing he says
- 40:56Speaker 1: makes sense, but those Keystone cops out there, they seem
- 41:02Speaker 1: to believe like everything that he's going there. I mean,
- 41:05Speaker 1: we got Gabby over there, like crying, got blood on
- 41:08Speaker 1: her face, she's completely hysterical, and then we got this
- 41:12Speaker 1: dumbass loser that someone saw him hitting her. And they're
- 41:15Speaker 1: just like, oh yeah, everything seems great. We could totally
- 41:18Speaker 1: believe you. Everything's cool. She seems like the aggressor over there.
- 41:21Speaker 2: I can't believe she was attacking you like that. You're
- 41:23Speaker 2: lucky to be alive, sir.
- 41:24Speaker 1: Yeah. They even called him a victim of domestic abuse
- 41:29Speaker 1: at one point. Yes.
- 41:33Speaker 2: Again. Plus it gets even better because they got him
- 41:35Speaker 2: a room.
- 41:36Speaker 1: Yeah. So anyway, so Gabby, she's rambling and she's crying
- 41:40Speaker 1: as well. They asked her about the blood on her
- 41:41Speaker 1: face and the marks in her arm, and she said
- 41:43Speaker 1: she tells them that she hit him first. And that's
- 41:46Speaker 1: when the cops call Brian a victim of domestic abuse.
- 41:49Speaker 1: And he just laughs it off and says, I love Gabby.
- 41:52Speaker 1: I hope she doesn't have too many complaints about me. Like,
- 41:55Speaker 1: he's just you can tell he's just. He knows that
- 41:58Speaker 1: whatever he did was and that he should be in trouble.
- 42:01Speaker 1: He's like, oh, I hope she doesn't have any many
- 42:03Speaker 1: complaints about me.
- 42:04Speaker 2: I don't want to go to jail.
- 42:06Speaker 1: So there's all male cops there, but there's one female
- 42:09Speaker 1: cop and she's just as disappointing as they are. She
- 42:12Speaker 1: comes to speaks and speaks to Gabby, and Gabby asks
- 42:15Speaker 1: if she can have her phone to call her mom
- 42:18Speaker 1: her She called Gabby calls her mom, and Gabby's mom
- 42:22Speaker 1: tells us that Gabby said that her and Brian had
- 42:24Speaker 1: an argument and she said that Brian locked her out
- 42:26Speaker 1: of the van and she said it was just over
- 42:29Speaker 1: something stupid. Now the cop cops over there, you they
- 42:32Speaker 1: got all the you know, the body cam footage. They
- 42:34Speaker 1: have this little powwow over there and talk about the
- 42:37Speaker 1: safety of Brian and making sure he's safe because he's
- 42:40Speaker 1: the victim here, and that these They even talk about
- 42:44Speaker 1: how these situations can escalate to someone being killed. They
- 42:50Speaker 1: tell Gabby that they would normally have taken her to jail,
- 42:54Speaker 1: but they were working with Brian so that he that
- 42:59Speaker 1: from her for then. So they give her the van
- 43:02Speaker 1: and then they they they're gonna, you know, go help
- 43:06Speaker 1: Brian get get in a hotel. So the cop tells
- 43:09Speaker 1: Gabby that she has anxiety and knows it and look
- 43:13Speaker 1: at this, this is the female cop. She says, you
- 43:15Speaker 1: have anxiety, and look at the situations you're getting yourself
- 43:18Speaker 1: into with this with your anxiety and everything. They are joking. Meanwhile,
- 43:23Speaker 1: while they're over there joking with Brian, and he's being
- 43:26Speaker 1: very condescending about Gabby and the cop isn't about women,
- 43:31Speaker 1: I would say in general, the woman cop, like I said,
- 43:34Speaker 1: is just as disappointing, telling Grabby that she is crying
- 43:36Speaker 1: and that silly arguments led to Brian having marks on him, Like,
- 43:41Speaker 1: disregard the fact that she has marks all over her
- 43:43Speaker 1: arm and blood on her face. I mean, it's insane.
- 43:47Speaker 1: So they take Brian to stay at this like motel,
- 43:51Speaker 1: and ironically it's a motel for domestic abuse victims. So
- 43:56Speaker 1: they just put this asshole up in this hotel with
- 43:58Speaker 1: all these probably women that are victims of domestic abuse,
- 44:02Speaker 1: and he gets to stay there and they give Gabby
- 44:04Speaker 1: the van. Now the officer he's again very condescending to Gabby,
- 44:08Speaker 1: telling her to go take a long, hot shower to
- 44:11Speaker 1: calm down, and that that works on his wife. Now
- 44:15Speaker 1: he tells the same thing to Brian, saying that Gabby
- 44:17Speaker 1: just needs to go take a shower and calm down,
- 44:19Speaker 1: and he's basically got. He's like, I have a wife
- 44:22Speaker 1: too that has anxiety and sometimes those meds just don't
- 44:25Speaker 1: work and they need a shower.
- 44:26Speaker 2: M So I send her into the shower.
- 44:30Speaker 1: Yeah. So he's like telling Brian all about his wife
- 44:33Speaker 1: and everything.
- 44:34Speaker 2: His wife has divorced him by now, So I.
- 44:37Speaker 1: Looked up this cops too, because I'm like, who is
- 44:39Speaker 1: this motherfucker? So I look him up. He's had at
- 44:45Speaker 1: one point, so he is divorced from that wife or whatever.
- 44:49Speaker 1: They did try to sue the city and everything over
- 44:53Speaker 1: this guy or whatever in the city was able to
- 44:56Speaker 1: get him dropped off the lawsuit or whatever. Anyways, he
- 44:59Speaker 1: doesn't w for the police department anymore, but in the
- 45:02Speaker 1: past he's been he's been accused of domestic abuse. And
- 45:05Speaker 1: then he also got he was cheating this lady was
- 45:10Speaker 1: he was cheating on his wife with another lady who
- 45:12Speaker 1: was married or whatever, and so somehow he got the
- 45:15Speaker 1: husband of the lady he was cheating with the arrested
- 45:18Speaker 1: or something like that. Something real sketchy. He's just like
- 45:21Speaker 1: a douchebag. Now he runs a now he's part of
- 45:24Speaker 1: a or he runs a tour guide out in Moab
- 45:27Speaker 1: or whatever where you pay like him five hundred dollars
- 45:29Speaker 1: a day to drive drive you around in a jeep
- 45:31Speaker 1: or something like that. So that's what he does now.
- 45:34Speaker 2: And this is where I told the guy that he
- 45:37Speaker 2: needed to tell his girlfriend to take a shower. This
- 45:40Speaker 2: is where I told a girl she needed to go
- 45:41Speaker 2: take a shower. And as you know, this is where
- 45:45Speaker 2: I disparage my ex wife right here about telling saying
- 45:48Speaker 2: she needed her meds and go take a shower.
- 45:50Speaker 1: Yeah, so basically go take a shower. Yeah, this guy's
- 45:54Speaker 1: like a douchebag. All of them were. The female cop
- 45:57Speaker 1: was disappointing the whole the whole group or whatever. Anyways,
- 46:03Speaker 1: and they interviewed him, not on the documentary but other
- 46:06Speaker 1: news outlets after the whole case of this police officer,
- 46:10Speaker 1: and he was just you could tell he could. He
- 46:12Speaker 1: was just saying he's one of these people that just
- 46:15Speaker 1: says like big statements and stuff like that, but doesn't
- 46:17Speaker 1: mean what he's saying at all.
- 46:19Speaker 2: He's strung a bunch of together, a bunch of words. Yeah,
- 46:22Speaker 2: I will hope it came out all right.
- 46:24Speaker 1: Yeah, He's like, if I'd known if something like this
- 46:26Speaker 1: was going to happen to her, I would have followed her.
- 46:29Speaker 1: I would have I would have forgot my vacation to
- 46:32Speaker 1: go follow her, make sure that she was safe, like
- 46:34Speaker 1: stuff like that.
- 46:35Speaker 2: Well, if you know it was gonna happen, maybe he
- 46:37Speaker 2: could have just arrested Brian On the spot for domestic abuse.
- 46:40Speaker 1: And that's the thing is that they know that she okay.
- 46:45Speaker 1: So she says that she hit him first, but they
- 46:47Speaker 1: have an eyewitnessed saying that he was hitting her forcing
- 46:50Speaker 1: her into a van. He she says that or he
- 46:53Speaker 1: admits that he locked her out of her own van
- 46:56Speaker 1: that night. I mean, if you have some sort of
- 46:58Speaker 1: training in the police department, you can see that this
- 47:01Speaker 1: was clearly a domestic area.
- 47:05Speaker 2: Hey, buddy, you want to be a cop, get in
- 47:08Speaker 2: the car.
- 47:09Speaker 1: It's a heavy Mormon population up there.
- 47:13Speaker 2: I'll get us some trouble with the Mormons. Then I
- 47:16Speaker 2: want to be getting emails.
- 47:18Speaker 1: Well, I think it's like a close knit community. So
- 47:20Speaker 1: I think it's like some I'm wondering how this guy
- 47:24Speaker 1: even got to where he was still a cop after
- 47:26Speaker 1: some of the stuff he had done.
- 47:28Speaker 2: It he knew some people, you think, allegedly.
- 47:33Speaker 1: Allegedly don't see us. No, we might want to go
- 47:37Speaker 1: up there and take a tour with him one day
- 47:39Speaker 1: in moabb I heard it's pretty I will say that
- 47:43Speaker 1: one of the sister wives, Christine, has a airbnb up
- 47:46Speaker 1: in Moebs, so we could go stay at her airbnb
- 47:48Speaker 1: and then go find this guy and take a tour
- 47:52Speaker 1: with him and then not leave him a tip. Be like,
- 47:55Speaker 1: here's a tip, buddy.
- 47:56Speaker 2: Don't tug on Superman's cape. No, and don't mess around
- 48:01Speaker 2: with bad bad Lee Roy Brown.
- 48:03Speaker 1: No, no, anyways, but yes, Christine has a airbnb up
- 48:07Speaker 1: in moabb It's a real popping place. Do There's a
- 48:10Speaker 1: lot of things happening up there.
- 48:12Speaker 2: I can't wait to go anyway, back to our story, Karen.
- 48:17Speaker 2: Later that night, Brian and Gabby were back together. Over
- 48:22Speaker 2: the next ten days, they camped their way up to
- 48:24Speaker 2: Salt Lake City, Utah, also.
- 48:26Speaker 1: Where some of the Sister Wives live currently.
- 48:29Speaker 2: Yes, that show's gone off there.
- 48:31Speaker 1: No, it's not gone off the air. They're a No,
- 48:34Speaker 1: they're all divorced. But they're in a mid season break.
- 48:36Speaker 1: We still we haven't they they upped them for another season.
- 48:40Speaker 2: Well the right What else have the writers got left
- 48:42Speaker 2: in them?
- 48:42Speaker 1: This isn't Riding Steward. This is a real life in
- 48:45Speaker 1: real families.
- 48:45Speaker 2: Okay, it's not. It's not reality TV. On August twenty second,
- 48:50Speaker 2: Gabby contacted her ex boyfriend Jackson. Brian and Gabby had
- 48:55Speaker 2: gotten into an argument and she called him Jackson crying.
- 48:59Speaker 2: He said that she seemed to want out of the
- 49:03Speaker 2: relationship and the situation altogether, but she didn't know how
- 49:06Speaker 2: to do that, and that's where this episode.
- 49:10Speaker 1: Ends, yes, fade to black with the ex boyfriend talking
- 49:16Speaker 1: about the conversation. So all right, well that's our thoughts
- 49:20Speaker 1: on this episode. The cap and Petito. Sorry, we went
- 49:23Speaker 1: off the rails this episode very long. We went off
- 49:27Speaker 1: the rails.
- 49:29Speaker 2: You did, yes, you did taco tastic stuff.
- 49:33Speaker 1: I didn't go off the rails. That's what she did.
- 49:36Speaker 1: How are we not going to talk about chacoastic stude?
- 49:38Speaker 2: Oh you went off the rails with taco tastic.
- 49:40Speaker 1: No, we went off the rails probably with the dog stuff.
- 49:42Speaker 1: Well yeah, anyways, all right, stud do you have a
- 49:47Speaker 1: yawn need Jesus?
- 49:48Speaker 2: Yes, I do. Of course I do. I always do.
- 49:51Speaker 1: Okay, let's go ahead and get into that. So yeah,
- 49:53Speaker 1: so in two weeks we'll be back with part two.
- 49:56Speaker 1: So we're gonna be part two and three. So if
- 49:57Speaker 1: you have Netflix you can watch it so you can
- 49:59Speaker 1: kind of fall alone. I'll follow along and you can
- 50:01Speaker 1: tell me if I'm correct about giggles, because that's what
- 50:03Speaker 1: I feel and that Brian looks like a thirty four
- 50:06Speaker 1: year old accountant.
- 50:07Speaker 2: Oh, poor Ol'brian.
- 50:10Speaker 1: STU didn't mean that, poor old Brian.
- 50:13Speaker 2: No, that was sarcasm. Okay, for those our listeners that
- 50:16Speaker 2: are sarcastically challenged.
- 50:20Speaker 1: We have we I don't you know what if we
- 50:22Speaker 1: had any, they've been weeded out because they've already wrote
- 50:24Speaker 1: us a bad review in Exodus.
- 50:26Speaker 2: Yes, we've had plenty of bad reviews that people. It's like,
- 50:30Speaker 2: don't you get sarcasm? Oh?
- 50:31Speaker 1: Yeah, someone was real upset about whatever I said about
- 50:33Speaker 1: cut off Louisiana. And I'm sure I don't even know
- 50:35Speaker 1: what I say. I don't know, but it was probably sarcasm.
- 50:40Speaker 1: Like it's like I've never even been to cut off.
- 50:45Speaker 2: No, I've been through cut off so many downtown.
- 50:47Speaker 1: I don't know. Yeah, someone got real upset about talking
- 50:50Speaker 1: whatever we said about cut off flu.
- 50:52Speaker 2: That's where where the old Cajun cannon, my bad bet
- 50:54Speaker 2: from down and Down and cut off Louisiana.
- 50:57Speaker 1: That's why he put some of its sarcasm. But some
- 50:59Speaker 1: of it is based in reality.
- 51:00Speaker 2: But yes, that in irony. Some people don't have a
- 51:05Speaker 2: since irony, don Yeah. Woman arrested for urinating on grocery

- 51:18Speaker 2: back four years.
- 51:21Speaker 1: Stuart, why would you show me this? I don't need
- 51:23Speaker 1: this because I have to shop at the grocery store.
- 51:27Speaker 1: I don't have a choice.
- 51:28Speaker 2: Midland, Texas.
- 51:29Speaker 1: Oh god, he's lying.
- 51:35Speaker 2: New Hampshire woman arrested.
- 51:37Speaker 1: Oh god, we went to New Hampshire though.
- 51:39Speaker 2: Well, yeah, we were there about that time. Yeah. A
- 51:44Speaker 2: New Hampshire woman was arrested on Friday. Wait, this is
- 51:47Speaker 2: coming to us from The New York Post, published February
- 51:50Speaker 2: twenty fifth.
- 51:52Speaker 1: Florida, Florida.
- 51:54Speaker 2: Caitlin McCormick. I told you Midland, Texas.
- 51:56Speaker 1: No, it's New Hampshire.
- 51:58Speaker 2: You would definitely guess Florida. Wuldn't you?
- 52:00Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 52:01Speaker 2: Woman peeing on stuff?
- 52:03Speaker 1: Yeah? Probably.
- 52:05Speaker 2: Well. She was arrested on Friday after police found footage
- 52:07Speaker 2: of her urinating on food products at a local grocery store,
- 52:11Speaker 2: among a trove of online videos documenting similar disgusting acts
- 52:15Speaker 2: dating back four years. So not only was she doing this,
- 52:18Speaker 2: she was doing it and putting it on YouTube, hoping
- 52:21Speaker 2: to make a lot of money and live the band life.
- 52:23Speaker 2: I guess. Kelly Tedford, aged twenty three, allegedly tainted a
- 52:28Speaker 2: slew of products at a it's gonna be a tough
- 52:32Speaker 2: one for stew Mona monad Knock food co op in
- 52:38Speaker 2: New Hampshire doesn't sound familiar. So hopefully we didn't buy
- 52:42Speaker 2: anything there while we were there. No, so she did that,
- 52:46Speaker 2: whether you're ine costing the grocery store roughly fifteen hundred
- 52:49Speaker 2: dollars for the room products and cleaning expenses, said the
- 52:53Speaker 2: Keen Police Department.
- 52:55Speaker 1: What was she peeing on in the back store rooms
- 52:57Speaker 1: or in the.
- 52:58Speaker 2: Front I doesn't say if she was just peeing on
- 53:01Speaker 2: the aisles or what she was.
- 53:02Speaker 1: I mean, this reminds me of that time.
- 53:04Speaker 2: Remember we could go to her YouTube page and watch them.
- 53:06Speaker 1: No, I remember several years ago there was those people
- 53:10Speaker 1: film those kids filming they worked at the Taco Bell
- 53:12Speaker 1: the Taco Tastic Day, and they were like licking all
- 53:15Speaker 1: the taco shells. Do you remember that?
- 53:18Speaker 2: No, but I do remember the people that were doing
- 53:21Speaker 2: that to the Blue Bell ice cream, popping the top
- 53:24Speaker 2: off and licking it because Blue Bell didn't put the plasta.
- 53:26Speaker 1: That's on Blue Bell. Because you should have some sort
- 53:28Speaker 1: of you shouldn't just have where you could just open something.
- 53:32Speaker 1: You should have a safety seal you don't have to
- 53:33Speaker 1: have the cover on the top, but you at least
- 53:35Speaker 1: need to have that plastic safety seal around it, which
- 53:39Speaker 1: they do now. But why wouldn't you put that on
- 53:41Speaker 1: your food?
- 53:41Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, the old tilan al Cyani and the tail
- 53:45Speaker 2: and all happened back in the eighties. We know by
- 53:46Speaker 2: now it's twenty twenty year.
- 53:48Speaker 1: Yeah. If anything, if I'm like, did I even hear
- 53:50Speaker 1: that thing pop? Or was it like when you're opening
- 53:54Speaker 1: throwing it out and I'm requesting a refront from Walmart, Yeah,
- 53:58Speaker 1: if I don't even if I don't see this safety seal,
- 54:00Speaker 1: or I'm even confused as to whether or not it
- 54:02Speaker 1: actually happened, I'm like, oh my god, someone poisonous. They're
- 54:04Speaker 1: trying to kill us.
- 54:05Speaker 2: Yeah, they specifically found our podcast. Ye. They hate us
- 54:08Speaker 2: because they don't get sarcasm. Yeah, and they are trying
- 54:11Speaker 2: to kill us.
- 54:11Speaker 1: Yes, with the jar pickles.
- 54:15Speaker 2: The grocery store also had to issue a recall for
- 54:18Speaker 2: its organic quinoa, cornmeal, polenta, coconut shreads and raw walnuts,
- 54:25Speaker 2: after Tedford had apparently relieved herself on the products.
- 54:28Speaker 1: Well technically it was still organic.
- 54:31Speaker 2: Yes, it wasn't Telford's first time peen in places she shouldn't.
- 54:37Speaker 2: If anything, it was a hobby for the young urinator. Yes,
- 54:42Speaker 2: gotta love the writing of this person. Police recovered multiple
- 54:46Speaker 2: videos Tedford herself posted online showing her pen on produce
- 54:50Speaker 2: surfaces and other objects. The oldest videos, bait Bat, date
- 54:55Speaker 2: back to twenty twenty one. Wow. After reviewing the videos,
- 55:00Speaker 2: surmised that the serial public urinator likely tormented, tormented not
- 55:05Speaker 2: only the grocery store, but a slew of nearby communities
- 55:09Speaker 2: with her disturbing delinquency.
- 55:12Speaker 1: I hope she's got the death penalty.
- 55:14Speaker 2: Is this is a death penalty case? Now that you
- 55:18Speaker 2: say that. Tedford was released on her own recognizance, Oh god,
- 55:22Speaker 2: and set to appear for an arrayment on April seventh.
- 55:25Speaker 2: Not even she didn't even have to bail out. Just yeah, okay,
- 55:28Speaker 2: you're free to go.
- 55:29Speaker 1: She's obviously mentally ill. She shouldn't be out in the world.
- 55:34Speaker 2: Yeah, who does this?
- 55:35Speaker 1: Yeah? A mentally ill person?
- 55:38Speaker 2: Yes? I concur who. But if you say she's mentally ill,
- 55:43Speaker 2: then we can't get rid of death penalty.
- 55:45Speaker 1: No, but she needs to be in some place where
- 55:47Speaker 1: they can help her, or at least restrain her until
- 55:52Speaker 1: she sentenced. That's disgusting.
- 55:54Speaker 2: It is. Police have launched an investigation, with additional criminal
- 55:58Speaker 2: chargees possible in the future. So far, she has only
- 56:01Speaker 2: been charged with felony criminal mischief.
- 56:03Speaker 1: No, throw the book at her.
- 56:06Speaker 2: That element. Well, there's got to be more somehow. Contaminating
- 56:11Speaker 2: consumables is not a novelty in the US. In California,
- 56:16Speaker 2: an HIV positive man dubbed the piss Bandit took it
- 56:21Speaker 2: upon himself to leave bottles filled with his urine around
- 56:24Speaker 2: a Pasadena neighborhood as a means of taunting residence. The
- 56:28Speaker 2: community was floored by his sheer, dedication and seemingly superhuman bladder.
- 56:34Speaker 2: I don't know how that ended up in this story
- 56:36Speaker 2: with no further HIV from p No, it's going to
- 56:42Speaker 2: be transmitted in the blood, I believe.
- 56:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think. I don't think he was accomplishing
- 56:47Speaker 1: what he uh what he thought he was accomplishing.
- 56:52Speaker 2: A panicking the public as he was, because people don't
- 56:55Speaker 2: know that you can't catch it from just a bottle
- 56:56Speaker 2: of pee.
- 56:57Speaker 1: Okay, all right, well, I guess if you're one of
- 57:00Speaker 1: those twenty percent of people though, that secretes your bulloot.
- 57:04Speaker 1: Oh No, that's blood type not blood I don't remember
- 57:07Speaker 1: in the oh that's that's not in urine, that's in seamen. Anyways,
- 57:12Speaker 1: all right, well that's a lovely stories too.
- 57:14Speaker 2: You're welcome.
- 57:15Speaker 1: All right, Well, thank you all for being here. This
- 57:17Speaker 1: is very long episode. If you're still here, we appreciate it.
- 57:20Speaker 1: Check out the Patreon, Facebook, Instagram. Write us a review
- 57:26Speaker 1: only if you understand sarcasm. If not, just you can
- 57:30Speaker 1: you can say mean things to us. Again, We're okay
- 57:32Speaker 1: with that, but just make sure it's five star and
- 57:34Speaker 1: then say the mean thing.
- 57:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, we're we don't give one star and
- 57:38Speaker 2: mean things. We're competing with a bunch of podcasts out there.
- 57:41Speaker 1: Yeah, we we were doing really strong. We started out.
- 57:45Speaker 1: We were in the top two yeah, which is I
- 57:48Speaker 1: know that doesn't seem like a lot to people, but
- 57:50Speaker 1: that's really.
- 57:51Speaker 2: Difficult to do, especially these days because everybody's in a
- 57:54Speaker 2: goddamn pricking.
- 57:55Speaker 1: What you call it, Yeah, because everybody's on a podcast network.
- 57:58Speaker 1: We have like Dateline has. There are like fifty million
- 58:01Speaker 1: special podcast and professional thing. But back in the day,
- 58:05Speaker 1: we actually did make it in the top two hundred,
- 58:07Speaker 1: which is like a big deal, and we just like
- 58:11Speaker 1: let it. We let that slide because we stopped doing
- 58:14Speaker 1: it for two years.
- 58:15Speaker 2: We did right, right right when everybody was sitting at
- 58:17Speaker 2: home listening to podcasts, we just were like, yeah.
- 58:20Speaker 1: We're we're not going to do that.
- 58:21Speaker 2: We're not going to do that. We got things going, but.
- 58:23Speaker 1: It's fine, it's fine. We're here still just plugging along.
- 58:26Speaker 1: So we appreciate everybody that's here, and I guess we will.
- 58:31Speaker 1: We'll be back next in two weeks with part two
- 58:34Speaker 1: and we will see you next time. Bye, everyone, say
- 58:36Speaker 1: bye ste.
- 58:37Speaker 2: Bye do Don't you know it's bad to be super
- 58:45Speaker 2: stay shots by noting.
- 58:48Speaker 1: Else it's working.
- 58:51Speaker 2: It's pretty.
- 58:55Speaker 1: Sick.
- 58:56Speaker 2: This word
- 58:59Speaker 1: Can m
