Welcome to Nate's Daily Wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's Daily Wager for
• 0:26
4th of July 2023. Happy birthday, America.
• 0:31
Get some. Rock, flag and eagle.
• 0:33
There's no better way of celebrating this land that we
• 0:36
love than blowing up a little piece of it.
• 0:39
So get out there with your fireworks.
• 0:41
Get out there with your hot dogs.
• 0:43
Suck them down. Play your music loud.
• 0:45
Be free, America. All right, so Speaking of free,
• 0:49
last night I just gave the casino some free money because I
• 0:53
lost. And I told you, hey, start to
• 0:55
fade me because I had a great time last week.
• 0:58
But today we got the greatest sporting event ever in the
• 1:03
history of mankind. Every year we get the Nathan's
• 1:07
Hot Dog Eating Contest. This is where the peak of
• 1:11
  humanity's athleticism comes to light.
• 1:15
And this year we got Joey. He's going to come out.
• 1:19
You know he's going to win. He's minus 4000.
• 1:21
I mean, if you want to just throw money on him and pick up
• 1:24
the little bit, that's an easy bet.
• 1:26
But the the thing we're looking at here today, of course the
• 1:29
over under is currently sitting at 72 1/2.
• 1:32
And look, Joey got over that last year and he had to deal
• 1:36
with some protester coming up about don't eat animals.
• 1:40
I mean whatever that's about. So we had to like throw that guy
• 1:43
off and he still sucked down 73, I think.
• 1:46
Anyways, he's not going to have to deal with that better
• 1:48
security this year. So we're taking the over.
• 1:51
So we're going over 72 1/2 total hot dogs.
• 1:55
Eaten by Joey Jaws Chestnut in today's Nathan's Hot Dog Eating
• 2:00
Championship. See anything better than that?
• 2:02
Pound it. That's my pick and I'm sticking
• 2:04
to it. Rock, flag and eagle.
• 2:18
