- 0:18Speaker 1: Brocket said something about Queen of the Damn practiced last weekend,
- 0:22Speaker 1: and I just said, yeah, I mean, we'll check it
- 0:25Speaker 1: out and say something to you and Brock. I once
- 0:29Speaker 1: we had agreed on doing this one. I text Brock
- 0:32Speaker 1: was like, fuck, yeah, dude, we're gonna do another episode.
- 0:35Speaker 1: We're gonna do Queen of the Damn. And He's like,
- 0:37Speaker 1: hell yeah, dude. Jonathan Davis snapped on that or something.
- 0:39Speaker 1: I don't know if Brock said snap them I have.
- 0:42Speaker 1: I don't know. That sounds like Brock, right, Dave snapped
- 0:47Speaker 1: on that dog. It sounds like how Brock talks. But
- 0:52Speaker 1: he said that, and I was like, I remember, there's
- 0:56Speaker 1: some of this just sounds like fucking corn. And I
- 1:00Speaker 1: he said that. I was like, oh my god. I
- 1:01Speaker 1: Brock thought this shit was fucking corn too. I had
- 1:04Speaker 1: not seen the movie. Yeah, so I didn't know that
- 1:07Speaker 1: it was literally supposed to be fucking It was Jonathan
- 1:10Speaker 1: Davis on these songs, which after looking into still like,
- 1:16Speaker 1: I think there's four or five songs. If you look
- 1:18Speaker 1: at the cover of the album, it actually says which
- 1:21Speaker 1: songs were covered by other people that were Jonathan Davis
- 1:27Speaker 1: songs on that movie, like apparently he was under some
- 1:30Speaker 1: sort of contract there. There were contract issues there, so
- 1:34Speaker 1: he couldn't record his vocals for the soundtrack for whatever reason.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Okay, I was wondering about that because I started looking
- 1:41Speaker 2: at the cover. He has songs by Jonathan Davis and
- 1:44Speaker 2: Richard Gibbs, performed by Wayne Static, David Draymond, yeahon Marilyn Mansons,
- 1:51Speaker 2: all right, Jay Gordon of Orgy Orgie's back in this one.
- 1:56Speaker 2: And that was because I was like, I was reading
- 1:59Speaker 2: the like, who these songs were?
- 2:00Speaker 1: Buying? It?
- 2:01Speaker 2: Like it the first thing I was looking at it
- 2:03Speaker 2: didn't say like disturbed, uh you know right, yeah, I
- 2:07Speaker 2: just said the guy's name, and I was like, who
- 2:09Speaker 2: the fuck are any of these people?
- 2:10Speaker 1: And then when I gave the album a riff, it's
- 2:13Speaker 1: like every recurring theme in my my notes was this
- 2:17Speaker 1: fucking sound like Gorn. And it was pretty justified when
- 2:20Speaker 1: I watched the movie, like, oh well what that's.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Why I haven't watched the movie since probably when it
- 2:26Speaker 2: came out like two thousand and two or whatever what
- 2:30Speaker 2: happens in that couple of years. Yeah, it's the gist
- 2:34Speaker 2: of it from the John One Davis angle.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Anyway, you know, let's hear it. The dude is like
- 2:39Speaker 1: a fucking vampire and is the lead singer of this
- 2:42Speaker 1: band and just trying to like lure out these other vampires.
- 2:46Speaker 1: And just all of the band's songs throughout the movie
- 2:49Speaker 1: were every time that dude's sang it was Jonathan Davis's
- 2:52Speaker 1: vocals and if you will, it's awful, Like it doesn't
- 2:56Speaker 1: I don't know if even my wife she even brought
- 3:00Speaker 1: more than once, Like, I don't know if he's just
- 3:02Speaker 1: being so familiar with that dude's voice, like hearing someone
- 3:05Speaker 1: else do it, it just sounded fucking stupid. That's not
- 3:11Speaker 1: that that shouldn't be coming out of him.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not like you can't do Jonathan Davis. Unless
- 3:17Speaker 2: you're Jonathan Davis.
- 3:19Speaker 1: He.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Can't be doing it. He's like, yeah, I think I
- 3:28Speaker 2: think so. From the Sanitarium tour that they went on. Yeah,
- 3:33Speaker 2: kid rock. Oh, I just got to cut in on
- 3:36Speaker 2: some kid rock news real quick, because I haven't I
- 3:40Speaker 2: haven't confirmed this yet, but I was. I just happened
- 3:43Speaker 2: to be listening to a completely like not even a
- 3:45Speaker 2: movie or music podcast the other day and they started
- 3:49Speaker 2: they randomly brought up Creed and Kid Rock and they
- 3:52Speaker 2: were talking about how like back in the day, those
- 3:55Speaker 2: two Scott Stapp and Kid Rock are in a porno together,
- 3:58Speaker 2: apparently banging a bunch of.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Hub he Yeah, I remember when that news broke. I
- 4:04Speaker 1: remember hearing about that, and a friend of mine his
- 4:07Speaker 1: first reaction was together, like those guys and those were
- 4:14Speaker 1: were an addition in the news. He thought they were.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Fucking He thought that. Yeah, dude, he thought that.
- 4:21Speaker 1: He thought it was rocking.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Oh no, rocking stabs bus. Dude, getting that thing bouncing it. Yeah,
- 4:30Speaker 2: I could imagine those high You feel me flying sixty
- 4:35Speaker 2: nine in the back of a tour bus together.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Well, don't fucking let Kid Rock hear that. I won't
- 4:42Speaker 1: tell him. He's not gonna find out for me, so
- 4:46Speaker 1: he all my bud lights him. Yeah, dude, p Hexaid
- 4:51Speaker 1: is gonna fucking bring a chop out of the crib
- 4:54Speaker 1: And no, I'll let you fill in the blanks.
- 5:00Speaker 2: But yeah, that just hit me right there in that memory.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Just I don't know if I ever heard that.
- 5:05Speaker 1: I do.
- 5:05Speaker 2: I remember watching the fred.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Durst poor No, Yeah, I didn't know that was a thing.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Yeah, you see, I saw Screech. I saw that one oh, okay,
- 5:16Speaker 2: I didn't watch that one. I was too nervous to
- 5:19Speaker 2: watch that one.
- 5:20Speaker 1: I was like, that's fair. I say never meet your
- 5:23Speaker 1: heroes exactly.
- 5:24Speaker 2: I was like, I don't need to see a little
- 5:27Speaker 2: prick or anything, right, I don't need to see him
- 5:30Speaker 2: bust on anybody anybody.
- 5:32Speaker 1: And you know he did. They somebody fact checked that
- 5:38Speaker 1: for me. I don't get getting.
- 5:40Speaker 3: We'll have to like the screech like he always wanted
- 5:46Speaker 3: to be a c slater and he came and like
- 5:48Speaker 3: whipped a chair around backwards with like.
- 5:50Speaker 1: No back and sat down in a dick out. Holy dude,
- 5:58Speaker 1: fucking screech. Hell, what's his name? Dust and Dustin d
- 6:04Speaker 1: Diamond Dimond Page.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Dude, he's gotta be d
- 6:09Speaker 2: dp's tag partner d d d b d.
- 6:13Speaker 1: D d D's dust Diamond Dallas Page Page. Yeah. They
- 6:20Speaker 1: everybody up, dude, Dustin Diamond Dallas Page Yoga.
- 6:26Speaker 2: He's just fucking stretching out the I got. You know,
- 6:32Speaker 2: it's fitting.
- 6:34Speaker 1: I do oh full flame. Saving that for the Fast
- 6:39Speaker 1: and Furious soundtrack.
- 6:41Speaker 2: I might I might keep a couple on deck. Yeah,
- 6:46Speaker 2: I'm gonna put that the notes for sure. Don't forget
- 6:49Speaker 2: the drinks. Yeah, I got one more bush apple. J Yeah,
- 6:58Speaker 2: I'm saving that too. That's for getting busted up for a.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Special christ Fall day. You got a sat on the
- 7:06Speaker 1: mid mid August Saturday afternoon. That's right around the corner. Dude,
- 7:12Speaker 1: you can keep your bush apple. I'm excited for fucking
- 7:14Speaker 1: Alani Witches Brew season, baby, and there's another one this year.
- 7:19Speaker 1: I don't know how deep you are into that game,
- 7:21Speaker 1: but you know I see it. While I'll pick I'll
- 7:28Speaker 1: pick one up. I won't put it down until it's gone.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Just chug it, dude, put the head at duck.
- 7:37Speaker 2: Yeah, man, I mean everyone. Every once in a while,
- 7:40Speaker 2: you got a shotgun of rock star energy.
- 7:43Speaker 1: I don't know why you wouldn't.
- 7:44Speaker 2: I just get yourself going.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Any reasonable doubt, any reasonable adult, I wouldn't find anything
- 7:52Speaker 1: wrong with that occasionally.
- 7:55Speaker 2: I mean it makes sense to me. Dude, we got
- 8:01Speaker 2: where were we?
- 8:02Speaker 1: Yeah? So you got the track list pulled up.
- 8:04Speaker 2: I got the track list. I got Spotify in case
- 8:06Speaker 2: I need a refresher, because I will.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Man, I can. I'm telling you what, I'm gonna paint
- 8:12Speaker 1: you a pretty good picture of most of them.
- 8:15Speaker 2: You might refresh my memory like one hundred percent, because
- 8:18Speaker 2: I listened to this on my way to work, and dude,
- 8:21Speaker 2: I got so hyped up. I about got fired from
- 8:24Speaker 2: my job. I went in there and like, that's so real, dude,
- 8:27Speaker 2: I about cleared out the break room, just started to
- 8:29Speaker 2: put my kurt Angle mouthpiece in and just front flipped
- 8:32Speaker 2: off the fucking some dude.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Most of this ship means like fucking need to set
- 8:38Speaker 1: the sprinklers off and get it going, like the beginning
- 8:41Speaker 1: of Blade, just let it ride in there. A lot
- 8:45Speaker 1: of this Ship just paints a good picture of a
- 8:47Speaker 1: fucking warehouse somewhere.
- 8:49Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 8:50Speaker 1: It's another where I don't know.
- 8:52Speaker 2: What's that track?
- 8:54Speaker 1: Yeah, sorry, fine.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Get about fifty or sixty naked dudes in a dusty
- 9:04Speaker 2: warehouse somewhere and put this song.
- 9:05Speaker 1: I mean, sounds like a good business model if you're
- 9:08Speaker 1: trying to get rich.
- 9:09Speaker 2: I'm interesting right away, you can, I think, like my
- 9:13Speaker 2: my biggest takeaway from the whole album, front to back
- 9:17Speaker 2: is that you can feel the lack of creed on
- 9:19Speaker 2: this one.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Like, I'm so glad you said it. I didn't have to.
- 9:24Speaker 2: It's it's straight out of the gate. It's immediately not creed,
- 9:29Speaker 2: and you can tell it was disappointing.
- 9:33Speaker 1: I thought I was.
- 9:34Speaker 2: I took the Screen three soundtrack for granted, like.
- 9:37Speaker 1: We really did. We took the Spotify soundtrack guy for
- 9:41Speaker 1: granted too.
- 9:42Speaker 2: I had I'm gonna apologize that guy right now.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Oh we got it. Somebody was sorry. I'm I don't
- 9:50Speaker 1: even know where to begin. Sorry. I don't think sorry,
- 9:52Speaker 1: does it? Sorry? Yeah, it could have been so much worse.
- 9:59Speaker 1: We found out the hard way, dude.
- 10:01Speaker 2: We thought, like I came into this one with high hopes,
- 10:03Speaker 2: thinking like screen Screen three was fun. I looked at
- 10:07Speaker 2: the tracks, I was like, you know this, this looks similar.
- 10:10Speaker 2: I put it on the first song. So right away
- 10:13Speaker 2: we get a big Wayne Static Static X song written
- 10:18Speaker 2: by Jonathan Davis and Richard Gibbs, who whose credits include
- 10:23Speaker 2: Doctor Doolittle, Big Mama's House, and Queen of the Damn.
- 10:27Speaker 1: So he's a hit maker of the brothers. Yeah, I started,
- 10:40Speaker 1: I'm fucking dying, But yeah, the big homie Wayne Static
- 10:43Speaker 1: R I P. Came in and really held down the
- 10:46Speaker 1: homie Jonathan Davis for the vocals on this one. My
- 10:50Speaker 1: first first note line one page one is this corn
- 10:56Speaker 1: right around just in mind. The first listen for disclosure,
- 11:00Speaker 1: my first listen to this soundtrack top to bottom. I
- 11:03Speaker 1: had not seen the movie. I I did not watch
- 11:08Speaker 1: this movie until last night. I think it was fucking
- 11:11Speaker 1: like six dollars on Amazon. That's all right, shit, shit,
- 11:16Speaker 1: that's why I do this ship man. You know, six
- 11:18Speaker 1: bucks on Tuesday night. Nothing committed.
- 11:22Speaker 2: I'm gonna have to send you the I'm gonna have
- 11:25Speaker 2: to send you the dollar fifty I've made on being
- 11:28Speaker 2: monetized on Spotify.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, put you back for that. Hey, charge it
- 11:35Speaker 1: to the game.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Put it on our tab.
- 11:38Speaker 1: So the opening lyric, actually, I believe this was the
- 11:42Speaker 1: first lyric of this song. You think you're smart, You're not, dude.
- 11:49Speaker 2: I not shut it off when that kicked in. I'm
- 11:51Speaker 2: not gonna lie, I was.
- 11:53Speaker 1: I was at work.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Lyrics grind it.
- 11:56Speaker 1: I was like, no, it's a it's a tough listen
- 12:01Speaker 1: in a situation that requires music. Yeah, if you're trying
- 12:05Speaker 1: to go do a task that you want music on
- 12:08Speaker 1: in the background, I would say, you probably don't want
- 12:11Speaker 1: this one, are you might?
- 12:13Speaker 2: I don't you want to listen to this? I would you,
- 12:19Speaker 2: what's the perfect setting like, if this song kicked in,
- 12:23Speaker 2: what would you like to be doing? It's got the
- 12:26Speaker 2: Jonathan Davis sound effects, it's got some echo, and it
- 12:30Speaker 2: says you think you're smart, you're you're not.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Yeah, And that lyric right there kicks off a reoccurring
- 12:40Speaker 1: theme that I found in this album through the lyrics
- 12:44Speaker 1: and just overtones. Uh, go to your room core. That's
- 12:49Speaker 1: what I'm kind of dumbing. Is just like like the
- 12:52Speaker 1: type of ship that you like scream at your fucking
- 12:55Speaker 1: parents when they tell you to go to your room
- 12:57Speaker 1: because you're being an asshole and think you're smart. You're not.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Probably, Dad, you know a handful of times before getting
- 13:06Speaker 2: my ass Absolutely, I might have said it once fucking
- 13:11Speaker 2: dumb ass.
- 13:11Speaker 1: And then just the door.
- 13:12Speaker 2: You just hear the stomping back to your room. You're like, oh,
- 13:15Speaker 2: the door was not shut for long. I'm going to
- 13:18Speaker 2: height under the bed now right.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Yeah. I got to the bed just in time to
- 13:22Speaker 1: act like I was fucking tough.
- 13:25Speaker 2: Fuck you dad, and you hear the require static, Bro, dude,
- 13:30Speaker 2: scary times. You know you're fucking and you're smart. That's
- 13:36Speaker 2: what he said, he got to your room. You're you're smart?
- 13:41Speaker 1: Y'are not. He said it just like that, dude, You're
- 13:47Speaker 1: not You're fucking not, pal idiot. You screwed up big time,
- 13:55Speaker 1: big time, pal.
- 13:57Speaker 2: Your grounded dumb ass.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:00Speaker 2: So, as the song goes on, I don't even understand
- 14:04Speaker 2: why that lyric is in the song, because then the
- 14:06Speaker 2: rest of the song it kind of fits the movie,
- 14:09Speaker 2: doesn't it. It's because it's about like she comes back
- 14:12Speaker 2: from the dead or something and he's like banging her
- 14:15Speaker 2: or is he back?
- 14:16Speaker 1: She was like a so I think he was a
- 14:20Speaker 1: vampire already. And then he went I don't remember how
- 14:24Speaker 1: he got into this little sweet ass castle he was
- 14:26Speaker 1: laid up in, but end up there and when what happened,
- 14:32Speaker 1: ended up in the basement or something, and statue Alia's
- 14:35Speaker 1: in her chair and oh no, dude, he was ripping
- 14:39Speaker 1: the fucking violin.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Job playing some yellow card for playing fucking I mean,
- 14:47Speaker 2: I think he was playing.
- 14:48Speaker 1: It sounded like fucking dragon force dog.
- 14:52Speaker 2: I was fucking Queen of the damn.
- 14:54Speaker 1: So she raises her little stone hand and flips it
- 14:57Speaker 1: over like he's just flips it over, and he lays
- 15:02Speaker 1: down his bow and his his fiddle goes over and
- 15:06Speaker 1: sinks his fucking stupid vampire teeth into her arm. Oh
- 15:12Speaker 1: he fucking bites in you for it? Rush. Yeah, I'm
- 15:17Speaker 1: kind of not sure where it went from there. Track
- 15:20Speaker 1: of the movie, Yeah, where I had blacked.
- 15:24Speaker 2: I don't even know where that just you started thinking
- 15:27Speaker 2: about the soundtrack again, You're like, dude, I started.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I looked down at what's the next song? I've
- 15:34Speaker 1: got a couple. I got some steps to say about
- 15:37Speaker 1: the next one too, which next? The next is uh
- 15:42Speaker 1: king David Draymond doing another Jonathan Davis song. So is
- 15:46Speaker 1: David called?
- 15:49Speaker 2: Is he the singer from Disturbed?
- 15:51Speaker 1: He is? So this is okay? So this is the
- 15:55Speaker 1: guy named Disturbed?
- 15:56Speaker 2: Oh yeah, oh ship, So he's uh Benny Nets favorite band,
- 16:01Speaker 2: Benny and the Nets.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Like, okay, okay, yeah, I was Disturbed playing in New
- 16:07Speaker 1: York tonight by chance, I think. So, I think you
- 16:13Speaker 1: might get backstage fastes if you know what I mean.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Yeah, he'll be, he will be. He'll probably do guess
- 16:20Speaker 2: volks I down with the sickness. Honestly, Oh my god,
- 16:25Speaker 2: I don't know why he comes out and does the
- 16:27Speaker 2: ouah part. What's this song called?
- 16:32Speaker 1: This song is called for saken? Oh?
- 16:35Speaker 2: Perfect? Yeah, perfect name.
- 16:38Speaker 1: There was a I said here that there's there's a
- 16:43Speaker 1: build up part, like a Tom heavy Tom build up
- 16:47Speaker 1: part that seemed promising, but it never really went anywhere.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Just you also have to take it with a grain
- 16:52Speaker 1: of salt because it is just like movie background music
- 16:55Speaker 1: for the most part.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, is this so?
- 16:59Speaker 1: Is it?
- 17:00Speaker 2: I'm just so confused about like how this album was done.
- 17:03Speaker 2: So this isn't a Disturbed song.
- 17:05Speaker 1: This is not a Disturbed song. This is another one
- 17:08Speaker 1: of the songs that were the band from the movie
- 17:11Speaker 1: Okay and Jonathan Davis. Okay, Jonathan Davis. Yeah, So like
- 17:19Speaker 1: if you look at the first these first three, and
- 17:23Speaker 1: then a couple later the Marilyn Manson song, and then
- 17:28Speaker 1: another one the dude from Orgy, those songs were all
- 17:32Speaker 1: j to the d but he was locked down by
- 17:34Speaker 1: Universal or whoever had whoever. This is how I found out.
- 17:39Speaker 1: I hadn't seen the movie, and I start, I'm like, man,
- 17:42Speaker 1: fucking Sureley Brock didn't just think this was all orn
- 17:45Speaker 1: And so I'm I'm like googling this shit on lunch
- 17:48Speaker 1: the other day while I'm listening to it, and and
- 17:52Speaker 1: that's that's how I found out that Jonathan Davis was
- 17:54Speaker 1: under contract and couldn't couldn't be on the soundtrack, but
- 17:59Speaker 1: was the vocals. His vocals were in the movie as
- 18:02Speaker 1: someone else. You see what I'm saying. Liked that plays
- 18:07Speaker 1: the main vampire. Yeah, it's totally good.
- 18:10Speaker 2: It sounds fucking stupid. I just read the plot. So
- 18:14Speaker 2: the plot, No, it's the sound of a new metal
- 18:19Speaker 2: band arouses the Vampire Lestat d Lynn Court from a
- 18:23Speaker 2: lengthy slumber, and so he proceeds to take over as
- 18:26Speaker 2: their lead singer, achieving international success with the ensemble, which
- 18:31Speaker 2: he names the Vampire Lestat.
- 18:33Speaker 1: There we go.
- 18:33Speaker 2: So that's a great band name. That's what I had
- 18:36Speaker 2: to I had to get that ready.
- 18:38Speaker 1: Could you imagine that being a fucking vampire. Let me
- 18:41Speaker 1: let me paint the picture for you. Here, this motherfucker
- 18:44Speaker 1: the intro rolls, and this motherfucker flies in the window
- 18:48Speaker 1: and they all turn around and homeboys kicked back on
- 18:51Speaker 1: a fucking half stack, like I'm a fucking I'm your
- 18:54Speaker 1: lead singer now, okay, and they they all submit and
- 19:01Speaker 1: he's the lead singer now, and he starts, he starts
- 19:05Speaker 1: giving inside baseball vampire lyrics on all these songs, and
- 19:09Speaker 1: they're like, hey, why are you writting songs about all
- 19:11Speaker 1: this old vampire shit? And he's like, I'm trying to
- 19:14Speaker 1: fucking bring some old friends out and some shit like that.
- 19:21Speaker 2: This sounds like an amazing movie. I have to rewatch this.
- 19:25Speaker 2: I don't remember.
- 19:26Speaker 1: I think I have like forty minutes left of it
- 19:28Speaker 1: on Amazon. Like, if you could fucking how far you
- 19:32Speaker 1: can make it, dude, I might buy this one. I
- 19:36Speaker 1: knew I should have fucking got it for forty eight hours.
- 19:40Speaker 2: Yeah, honestly, I've just been buying DVDs because it's like
- 19:44Speaker 2: the same as renting shit most of the time.
- 19:47Speaker 4: I got this the other day, A fire that's sweet. Yeah,
- 19:57Speaker 4: I haven't seen it.
- 19:59Speaker 1: I just want shit. The other day I do like
- 20:03Speaker 1: VHS's that's fucking sweet.
- 20:05Speaker 2: They're pretty cool. They're pretty cool. I need to get
- 20:08Speaker 2: an actual VHS TV because it's like shit, but they're fine.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Just get an old setup that you can like put
- 20:16Speaker 1: any ass on and like VCR and shit.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I get the old CRT TV. I just every
- 20:24Speaker 2: time I find them, it's like the person that I
- 20:26Speaker 2: try to contact on marketplace is like a fucking jackass,
- 20:30Speaker 2: and they're just like, yeah, come over and get it.
- 20:33Speaker 2: It's twenty bucks, yeah, come get it. And then I'm like,
- 20:38Speaker 2: all right, what's your address? And then they just stop
- 20:40Speaker 2: messaging me and They're like, you know, twenty minutes away,
- 20:44Speaker 2: and I'm like, hey, just tell me the address. I'm
- 20:46Speaker 2: I'm about to leave, and they're just.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Ah, sorry I passed away, brother, Yeah exactly. I'm like,
- 20:52Speaker 1: what happened?
- 20:53Speaker 2: I fell down the basement starts trying to bring it
- 20:56Speaker 2: to you. I'm fucking dead now.
- 21:00Speaker 1: You see, like a hen. You're like, Bro, I'm outside
- 21:02Speaker 1: your house, pull up and ship.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Just drive off? Oh ship, No whatever, dude, thanks thanks
- 21:14Speaker 2: for nothing.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Face. You like find out he died and you like
- 21:21Speaker 1: get the wing to his obituary and fucking like can
- 21:24Speaker 1: get back on messenger and send it to him. Like yeah, okay, bro,
- 21:29Speaker 1: just tell me you sold the fucking vcr asshole. Yeah,
- 21:33Speaker 1: thanks for god. You gotta respect the long game. The
- 21:38Speaker 1: wasted my fucking time, dude. Give him a fucking bad
- 21:43Speaker 1: rating on market play. Will this dude fucking die message?
- 21:50Speaker 2: I was getting ready to leave. I just wiped out
- 21:53Speaker 2: my whole evening just to come pick up this fucking TV.
- 21:56Speaker 1: I sat outside this dude's house. He had a fucking
- 21:59Speaker 1: as pull up, didn't even have the audas. I need
- 22:02Speaker 1: the message me back. One star would not buy from again.
- 22:09Speaker 2: The fucking ambulance guy wouldn't even let me go in
- 22:11Speaker 2: to get the TV.
- 22:16Speaker 1: I see the dude, you're like, you walk up on
- 22:19Speaker 1: the end, Like was that Greg Adams? Uh, sir, we can't,
- 22:26Speaker 1: we can't. You don't have to tell me shit. But
- 22:29Speaker 1: like he was supposed to something of ECR, can I
- 22:32Speaker 1: just like run in? Are you next to Ken? Oh?
- 22:36Speaker 1: I'm next in mind for the fucking DCR though, bro Oh,
- 22:40Speaker 1: but just kick the fucking door open, let me in.
- 22:42Speaker 2: Dude, you were just in there, she said, it was
- 22:47Speaker 2: in the basement.
- 22:47Speaker 1: I just need to go get it.
- 22:49Speaker 2: Just leave it open, like no, and they like look around,
- 22:55Speaker 2: all right, go get the fucking VCR twenty bucks man, and.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Then you get him the twenty. You give the Yeah,
- 23:01Speaker 1: you give them the twenty.
- 23:02Speaker 2: Yeah take the twenty. Leave the door open. I won't
- 23:06Speaker 2: like ramsack the place or anything.
- 23:08Speaker 1: I'll let myself out. Yeah. I just want the Yeah,
- 23:12Speaker 1: just want what I was owed. We had an agreement.
- 23:16Speaker 1: The VCR was promised to me so that at some
- 23:19Speaker 1: point in the song they break into what I initially
- 23:24Speaker 1: thought was the Fairman solo, and then I felt like
- 23:27Speaker 1: maybe that was given David Draymond and the boys a
- 23:29Speaker 1: little too much artistic credit. Yeah, and then I thought
- 23:34Speaker 1: I just let my imagination Wren was hoping that maybe
- 23:39Speaker 1: it was David Draymond trying to hit a vocal solo
- 23:41Speaker 1: little all out of the Great gigg In Sky.
- 23:44Speaker 5: Just.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Just fucking wailing at the end, but like with the
- 23:53Speaker 1: fucking piercings rapping on his rent of his fucking face.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Dude, I'm listening to it right now. I can hear
- 23:58Speaker 2: the piercings with like delay on them in the back.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Yeah, I think they have they They got like two
- 24:05Speaker 1: of the guards Brooks at set mics and like he
- 24:07Speaker 1: had his own vocal mic, but they had mics on
- 24:10Speaker 1: the underside catching that, and then they had a room
- 24:14Speaker 1: mic on his jawline too, just the It was a
- 24:16Speaker 1: very dynamic recording.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Just collecting as much revert as they can off them
- 24:21Speaker 2: damn things. Now I'm hearing it right now. I remember
- 24:24Speaker 2: thinking it was like a vocal track the first time
- 24:27Speaker 2: I heard it. Yeah, I was like, damn, that's fucking weird.
- 24:32Speaker 1: It. Oh, what if he's ripping the ferreman with his
- 24:36Speaker 1: fucking uh oh oh fuck, that might be it.
- 24:46Speaker 2: You might have figured out.
- 24:47Speaker 1: And then that's probably the one that makes the most
- 24:49Speaker 1: sense to me. Honestly.
- 24:51Speaker 2: Yeah, you're probably right. I never played the guy from
- 24:56Speaker 2: Disturbs signature pedal the weapon what no not yet I
- 25:03Speaker 2: haven't either, but I was thinking, maybe that's the noise
- 25:06Speaker 2: we're hearing. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I just remember how the
- 25:09Speaker 2: Disturbed logo on it, and it said the weapon, and
- 25:13Speaker 2: I could never.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Figure out what the fuck it was supposed to actually do.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Like you fucking sick, I bet hard pedal it scoops
- 25:20Speaker 1: your mids. Probably what a digit?
- 25:23Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a digitach. If it was an instant mid Scooper,
- 25:28Speaker 2: I'd pick it up, honestly.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Yeah, that's an immediate instant by Yeah, you go to
- 25:34Speaker 1: the auto mid scooper, get him out of here. Yeah.
- 25:37Speaker 2: You never know when you're gonna need to scoop the mids,
- 25:39Speaker 2: like in the middle of a song. Honestly, that's true.
- 25:43Speaker 1: You never know when you need to fucking kill your
- 25:46Speaker 1: tone and sound like shit at the clip of a pedal,
- 25:52Speaker 1: and you can tell you ride at the point in
- 25:53Speaker 1: the song when it started sounding like shit, you turn
- 25:57Speaker 1: that fucking pedal on?
- 25:59Speaker 2: Where get the.
- 26:02Speaker 1: Might have been going on?
- 26:04Speaker 6: Staying song O, pig the vessels, eye vessels, blood vessels around,
- 26:13Speaker 6: advise the field from that, I doubt it.
- 26:15Speaker 1: He's forever been my I've had a lot of Aaron
- 26:20Speaker 1: Lewis and my fucking algorithm lately. How did I Aaron
- 26:26Speaker 1: Lewis on this? Yeah?
- 26:27Speaker 2: Like right after we recorded, that fucking clip popped up
- 26:30Speaker 2: with the dude hitting the street sweeper, Oh my god.
- 26:33Speaker 1: And then the dude breaking down the dance like showing
- 26:36Speaker 1: how to do it step by step. That ruled too.
- 26:39Speaker 2: That was Yeah, that was too good, dude. What the fuck?
- 26:41Speaker 2: So I I have this soundtrack going in the background,
- 26:45Speaker 2: you know, because I'm I'm getting myself the ole refresher
- 26:47Speaker 2: as we were recording, and so track track three is
- 26:51Speaker 2: the chest Yeah track, dude, it sounds exactly like track two,
- 26:56Speaker 2: like it is.
- 26:57Speaker 1: That was the same same opening verse in first three
- 27:01Speaker 1: songs and all capitals is this core?
- 27:06Speaker 2: Yeah, it's him, like they're all doing Jonathan Davis. I
- 27:09Speaker 2: don't get why, like these three singers have very distinct
- 27:13Speaker 2: sounds already, why would they not rather go back to
- 27:16Speaker 2: sound like them there.
- 27:17Speaker 1: But imagine having the fucking Who's Who the Family Values
- 27:21Speaker 1: tour trying to sound like you on your soundtrack.
- 27:24Speaker 2: That is pretty badass.
- 27:26Speaker 1: Every time that I realized it was Chester Bennington, though,
- 27:29Speaker 1: I found myself like waiting on the dude to start
- 27:32Speaker 1: rapping like Mike Mike Schoda in there. Yeah, but I
- 27:40Speaker 1: actually did fIF the time to write down. At this point,
- 27:43Speaker 1: I feel like I've heard the same song three times.
- 27:46Speaker 2: Yes, they all sound the same. They're all like really slow.
- 27:49Speaker 2: They got like the snare roll thing on the drums
- 27:52Speaker 2: going on, and like fucking.
- 27:54Speaker 1: That band, that fucking Vampire band did one thing really well. Yeah,
- 27:58Speaker 1: they just kicked it nice and slow for everybody. Nice
- 28:01Speaker 1: fucking sucked.
- 28:03Speaker 2: Yeah, dude, I'd be pissed if I came to their concert,
- 28:06Speaker 2: Like what the dude?
- 28:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I'd be pissed because somebody be biting my fucking neck.
- 28:13Speaker 1: That's what would do. Like, I guess it already sucked
- 28:16Speaker 1: listening to the music at the concert. Could you imagine
- 28:18Speaker 1: doublin down and listening to that and getting hit by
- 28:21Speaker 1: a fucking vampire. I don't know about this.
- 28:27Speaker 2: You see what's after that one? Though, hitting them. Let
- 28:30Speaker 2: me check it out. I was looking to see what
- 28:32Speaker 2: the name of the band was again, the Revenge of
- 28:37Speaker 2: Les Stat or whatever the is called.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Do you what do we take the STAT tests in
- 28:41Speaker 1: my third grade? Yeah? I don't think I passed the
- 28:45Speaker 1: less STAT testing whatever, that's all right, I might take
- 28:50Speaker 1: it a get you're on the internet now, fuck that,
- 28:52Speaker 1: lets STAT test? Yeah, what do they know?
- 28:55Speaker 2: I ain't need to go to college. So yeah, so
- 29:00Speaker 2: after those first three songs, that's like a what is
- 29:03Speaker 2: that like an endurance test that they put you through
- 29:06Speaker 2: to see if you can make it to track? Ye,
- 29:09Speaker 2: see if you're worthy? Like all right, yeah, well I
- 29:12Speaker 2: was actually worried.
- 29:13Speaker 1: I was actually worried that this is how I was
- 29:15Speaker 1: going to find out that pot of the David's wrote
- 29:17Speaker 1: this death song. What a fucking number that would have been?
- 29:20Speaker 1: Or I mean or not for the best news we've
- 29:24Speaker 1: had all day? Yeah, royalties off. That is how he
- 29:27Speaker 1: continued to just do form. Yeah that's true, no expectations,
- 29:32Speaker 1: just you do whatever you wanted. That was his passion.
- 29:36Speaker 2: Yeah, just writing wright and bangers for other people, you know,
- 29:43Speaker 2: But he didn't. I did look it out, and he
- 29:46Speaker 2: was not JD.
- 29:47Speaker 1: Was not credited on.
- 29:51Speaker 2: I'm really surprised considering how great the first three songs were.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Yet and no doubt that sounds like get him a
- 30:00Speaker 1: hit for death? Maybe he got maybe he got like
- 30:04Speaker 1: a producer credit or something.
- 30:07Speaker 2: Yeah, he might have done some Deserve books somewhere. Yeah, yeah,
- 30:12Speaker 2: maybe maybe not.
- 30:13Speaker 1: I did say this. It was a nice palate cleanser
- 30:17Speaker 1: from from when I had heard so far. Yeah, are
- 30:21Speaker 1: you a death thing?
- 30:22Speaker 6: Man?
- 30:23Speaker 1: I am very much so. Yeah, I don't know, d
- 30:26Speaker 1: are you? I'm not.
- 30:29Speaker 2: I haven't ever gotten like real deep into him. I
- 30:32Speaker 2: like most of what I've heard, but it's been like
- 30:35Speaker 2: this song and maybe like a handful of others, and
- 30:38Speaker 2: then I see like clips every once in a while. Yeah,
- 30:40Speaker 2: I haven't like gone through and listened to a full
- 30:42Speaker 2: album yet. It's one of those bands where I've mostly
- 30:45Speaker 2: heard like their popular songs, and from what I've.
- 30:47Speaker 1: Heard, Yeah, I've been like, oh, these guys some choice cuts.
- 30:51Speaker 1: I like them a lot.
- 30:52Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I'll check you out. Sometimes I always hear
- 30:54Speaker 2: good things and like the clips I see of them live.
- 30:56Speaker 2: I'm always like, these guys seem pretty fucking cool. The
- 31:00Speaker 2: guitar video that the guy did that was really funny
- 31:03Speaker 2: where he's just playing like barcours and he just seems
- 31:05Speaker 2: like he's like way too high.
- 31:07Speaker 1: To be doing it or what just not Oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 31:11Speaker 1: that dude's that dude's something. He's wild. Those rig rundowns
- 31:17Speaker 1: are always fun though, because like he plays like fucking
- 31:20Speaker 1: seven and eight string guitars. He said he started playing
- 31:22Speaker 1: all those all those guitars because Sheino wanted to play
- 31:25Speaker 1: in all these different tunings instead of playing different tunings,
- 31:28Speaker 1: so he could just play in different registers on on
- 31:31Speaker 1: these multi multi string, multi scale guitars, he said. He
- 31:36Speaker 1: says that and then just still just plays fucking rips
- 31:39Speaker 1: chuggy parts, and I, I, it's gotta be so hard
- 31:44Speaker 1: not to though, Like I couldn't imagine having a guitar
- 31:47Speaker 1: with a bunch of fat ass fucking strings on the
- 31:49Speaker 1: bottom and not just just fucking getting nasty all the time.
- 31:55Speaker 2: Honestly, just got it too fun, deep seated cave man
- 31:59Speaker 2: in my just yeah, low string go Burt, I know
- 32:05Speaker 2: what you mean, dude. I've been on the verge of
- 32:07Speaker 2: getting some like heavy gauge strings for my lest Paul
- 32:10Speaker 2: and just keeping it tuned down just for that. Like
- 32:13Speaker 2: it's one of those things where like I just want
- 32:15Speaker 2: to get on logic, put my headphones on, put on
- 32:18Speaker 2: American metal preset, and just do some fucking nasty riff.
- 32:22Speaker 1: And you know I'm ready.
- 32:26Speaker 2: Yes I haven't done it yet, but I will one
- 32:30Speaker 2: of these days. But yeah, yeah, this was a nice change.
- 32:33Speaker 2: And this I think this was another like confirmation of
- 32:37Speaker 2: my my appreciation for Deftones with the small amount of
- 32:42Speaker 2: them that I've listened to, you know what I mean,
- 32:44Speaker 2: Like I was like, Okay, this stands out as like
- 32:47Speaker 2: a really good song compared to what I had.
- 32:50Speaker 1: To listen to. There are also worth noting, sneaky tasty
- 32:57Speaker 1: drum fills at the end, having a little money vocal session,
- 33:01Speaker 1: and dude just rips a couple of good ones. Yeah, yeah,
- 33:06Speaker 1: very nice.
- 33:07Speaker 3: I did.
- 33:07Speaker 2: I appreciate that. The drums, yeah, everything was just a
- 33:11Speaker 2: huge step up. The drums in the first three songs
- 33:13Speaker 2: just sound like if you drag and dropped like the
- 33:16Speaker 2: pre recorded, like the automatically yeah, and like the G
- 33:22Speaker 2: deck drums if you just clicked them on, switched switched
- 33:25Speaker 2: it to the new metal setting, and it just like
- 33:27Speaker 2: starts in with like the splash symbol and the snare
- 33:29Speaker 2: roll and you're like, all right, we know we're getting there,
- 33:33Speaker 2: We're getting see. Okay, this is the one. This is
- 33:36Speaker 2: where it hit me. This is another thing that this
- 33:39Speaker 2: this album brought out of me. So you know how
- 33:41Speaker 2: like the eighties have been like really glamorized in the
- 33:45Speaker 2: last like ten years, like five to ten years with
- 33:47Speaker 2: like stranger things and stuff like that, where like the
- 33:50Speaker 2: eighties is like all Neon, all fucking cool hair and
- 33:53Speaker 2: cool styles, and everyone's like, you know, the the peak eighties. Basically,
- 33:58Speaker 2: I feel like that's kind of started to have and
- 34:00Speaker 2: at least like from what I've noticed in my algorithm
- 34:02Speaker 2: with new metal a little bit where you see like
- 34:04Speaker 2: these like kind of newer new metal bands or like
- 34:06Speaker 2: new metal revival bands and they only play like the
- 34:09Speaker 2: cool riffs from like the new metal era, and what
- 34:12Speaker 2: they need to go back and listen to this album
- 34:15Speaker 2: to discover like this is like the the wall or
- 34:18Speaker 2: like the wood paneling of the eighties, Like what wood
- 34:21Speaker 2: paneling of eighties is to like the need.
- 34:25Speaker 1: You had to live? Yeah, you had to have this ship.
- 34:30Speaker 1: This ship walked or this ship crawled, so.
- 34:33Speaker 2: Fucking biscuit Yeah, Aaron Lewis, some of the ship fucking sucks, dude.
- 34:39Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying is like, this is this album
- 34:42Speaker 2: pretty much sums up why I was so like hit
- 34:45Speaker 2: and miss on new metal, because if you're just listening
- 34:47Speaker 2: to fucking break stuff and like, you know, Marilyn Manson
- 34:51Speaker 2: or like the Good you know, I don't know the
- 34:53Speaker 2: Good Ship from that era, It's like, yeah, there's some
- 34:56Speaker 2: there's some great stuff there. But if you're listening to
- 34:58Speaker 2: Not Meant for Me by Static written by Jonathan Davis, dude,
- 35:02Speaker 2: you're gonna tap out instantly.
- 35:05Speaker 1: That's I think shitty music is timeless as well. Everything
- 35:10Speaker 1: has a play. Yeah, but also to these songs and
- 35:14Speaker 1: they are like they're fucking movie soundtrack background songs. So
- 35:20Speaker 1: they weren't going out for a Grammy on this one. No.
- 35:23Speaker 2: I mean, Jonathan Davis is making change on this for sure.
- 35:27Speaker 2: He's just he's setting up his uh, you know, multi
- 35:30Speaker 2: generational wealth with this soundtrack.
- 35:33Speaker 1: Yeah, this is what really, You're right, I'm not just
- 35:37Speaker 1: I don't disagree with that at all.
- 35:38Speaker 2: Yeah, just getting residuals to this day, probably every time
- 35:42Speaker 2: this gets streamed.
- 35:42Speaker 1: And I bet it feels good when it hit it.
- 35:44Speaker 1: He got a couple out of me this week. I'm say, man,
- 35:47Speaker 1: you contribute it to the JD Yeah, And what can
- 35:52Speaker 1: I say? Man, that's their back, they be they were
- 35:55Speaker 1: just on tour. Yeah, I saw.
- 35:56Speaker 2: I've been seeing like clips and stuff. Dude, they're all back,
- 36:00Speaker 2: all these bands are. That's what I'm saying, is like,
- 36:02Speaker 2: I know, It'll is having its like renaissances cyclical.
- 36:06Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, and I don't know. It's great, it really
- 36:11Speaker 1: it is. Yeah. Was Aliyah popping in this movie when
- 36:16Speaker 1: you watch it? Was she good in it? I don't remember, dude,
- 36:19Speaker 1: Aliyah was was actively alive for maybe ten minutes in
- 36:23Speaker 1: this movie. She was mostly just just thought about. You
- 36:29Speaker 1: just had to remember. Yeah, she was just a stone
- 36:33Speaker 1: vampire for most of it. And then yeah, and then's
- 36:37Speaker 1: I don't At some point she comes back and goes
- 36:39Speaker 1: into the bar and fucks everybody up. And that was
- 36:41Speaker 1: pretty cool. Rip some dudes hard out. That was pretty Yeah,
- 36:44Speaker 1: it was pretty tight. And then yeah, and then she
- 36:47Speaker 1: flew to fucking Coachella or whatever where the where the
- 36:50Speaker 1: Vampire band was performing and taking him away.
- 36:53Speaker 3: Bro.
- 36:53Speaker 7: Yeah, spoiler sorry, that's all right. Started to ruin Ruin
- 36:59Speaker 7: Ruin the fine twenty minutes of the movie. No, I'm
- 37:02Speaker 7: gonna watch it either way. I'm committed to this at
- 37:05Speaker 7: this point. I gotta understand.
- 37:08Speaker 2: It's not like Sleepy Hollow that was like uh with
- 37:13Speaker 2: like I don't know, it was fucking weird. Yeah, I
- 37:18Speaker 2: don't doubt it. The only clips I ever see of
- 37:20Speaker 2: it are the Aliah clips. So I was thinking, like,
- 37:22Speaker 2: she must be like the main you know, the main
- 37:26Speaker 2: focus of the movie or what.
- 37:27Speaker 1: Well, I mean she was the queen of the damn so.
- 37:32Speaker 1: I mean it was her name's sake, I guess. So
- 37:34Speaker 1: if nothing else, they had to put her on.
- 37:36Speaker 2: Yeah, dude, r I rocked the boat baby, you know, say, yeah,
- 37:40Speaker 2: she's dead too, right, damn did she? Was she the
- 37:44Speaker 2: one that died because of R Kelly?
- 37:46Speaker 1: Yeah? I think so in some capacity, like they were
- 37:48Speaker 1: or Diddy or R Kelly or somebody something was going on. Yeah. Yeah,
- 37:54Speaker 1: R Kelly was like married to her or something.
- 37:56Speaker 2: I think they got married when she was like fifteen,
- 37:59Speaker 2: if I remember, and then like, yeah, right, I mean
- 38:05Speaker 2: it's no surprise knowing what we know about R Kelly. Now, yeah,
- 38:09Speaker 2: but I remember hearing something about how like before her
- 38:13Speaker 2: plane crash, people saw her like getting loaded into it
- 38:16Speaker 2: and she was already like unconscious or something. They're kind
- 38:18Speaker 2: of yeah, like maybe she was already dead before the
- 38:22Speaker 2: plane crash kind of thing. I don't know that's true,
- 38:25Speaker 2: but you know, I'll probably watch a YouTube video on
- 38:29Speaker 2: that too, just to refresh. Yeah, see what's really going on.
- 38:35Speaker 1: R Kelly is one of those guys. Man. It's just
- 38:40Speaker 1: harder and harder to art from the artist with that guy,
- 38:43Speaker 1: you know what I mean?
- 38:45Speaker 2: Yeah, when remixed she comes on, dude, it kind of
- 38:48Speaker 2: like it chaps my ass a little bit, Like I
- 38:50Speaker 2: kind of got to like, you know, quite.
- 38:54Speaker 1: As fresh out the kitchen, right, It's like it's hot
- 38:57Speaker 1: and fresh out the kitchen, but light. There's a bad
- 38:59Speaker 1: taste to my mon.
- 39:00Speaker 2: Yeah, because you want to just you know, have a
- 39:03Speaker 2: good time. It's such a great party song. But when
- 39:05Speaker 2: he starts talking about like mama rolling that body, You're like,
- 39:09Speaker 2: he's probably talking about a child.
- 39:13Speaker 1: Grown mama.
- 39:14Speaker 2: He's talking about.
- 39:14Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, got every man in your wish and howl.
- 39:19Speaker 2: Like, yeah, what are we doing? Who are these guys?
- 39:22Speaker 1: Is that? Did you get her? Id? Before you got her?
- 39:25Speaker 1: That cocin roum she's slipping on. Yeah, oh no, because
- 39:29Speaker 1: he said, so what I'm drowned?
- 39:31Speaker 2: Yeah, you know he's he's loading up that bladder.
- 39:36Speaker 1: With Yeah, Robert's about to have some fun. Yeah, he's
- 39:40Speaker 1: about this letter rip.
- 39:41Speaker 2: Let the stream fly right at hers.
- 39:47Speaker 1: Dude, Too bad that wasn't on this tract.
- 39:49Speaker 2: That's what I mean, dude.
- 39:50Speaker 1: They need to belong on here the way that Vane
- 39:52Speaker 1: belonged on stream three.
- 39:54Speaker 2: Oh, it would have been perfect.
- 39:55Speaker 1: We need to, we need to. We need to start
- 39:58Speaker 1: a fucking petition. Somebody get the soundtrack guy on here.
- 40:01Speaker 2: Yeah, we're gonna have to start over, just completely wipe
- 40:04Speaker 2: all the soundtracks and redal them. No ship, somebody needs
- 40:09Speaker 2: to like our jobs and pay us. Yeah one hundred
- 40:14Speaker 2: k a year and yeah yeah like and some bonus
- 40:19Speaker 2: some ot for that.
- 40:21Speaker 1: Yeah. Don't tell Joe Rogan though, because he probably that
- 40:28Speaker 1: would probably come straight out of the Joe rogue phone.
- 40:30Speaker 1: That's true.
- 40:31Speaker 2: He wanted what that happened and at what costs? Yeah,
- 40:34Speaker 2: he come right for us. He probably fucking karate fight
- 40:37Speaker 2: our asses to death in a cold plunge.
- 40:42Speaker 1: Dude, he would probably fucking yeah, stuff on it down
- 40:46Speaker 1: our throats. Alpha brain he would alpha brain is today.
- 40:50Speaker 2: Od our brains with it would be yeah, it would
- 40:54Speaker 2: be too smart brains would give us.
- 40:58Speaker 1: He would give us so much imactin we got COVID
- 41:01Speaker 1: beververse engineered COVID. Oh my god, and to your bodies, Yeah,
- 41:06Speaker 1: totally makes sense. Tough, look, yeah it is.
- 41:10Speaker 2: I mean, you know, one of the craziest things about
- 41:13Speaker 2: Joe Rogan, Dude, the guy just can't miss. Like I
- 41:16Speaker 2: was looking on Marketplace earlier and I saw somebody selling
- 41:21Speaker 2: like a Joe Rogan on it kettlebell, you know, it's
- 41:24Speaker 2: just a fucking weight with a handle on it, and
- 41:26Speaker 2: the ship was selling for like two hundred dollars used,
- 41:29Speaker 2: and I was like, oh yeah, I was like, how
- 41:32Speaker 2: much are these dude? I look it up. It's like
- 41:34Speaker 2: five hundred bucks for a kettlebell it's weigh what like
- 41:39Speaker 2: forty pounds or something. Yeah, for one.
- 41:42Speaker 1: So I'm saying, dude, it's like, wasn't the one that's
- 41:45Speaker 1: like his face? Yeah?
- 41:47Speaker 2: Yeah, well there was one that was his face? And
- 41:49Speaker 2: then I like there's but like the ones that's just
- 41:51Speaker 2: like a gorilla is still like two hundred dollars and
- 41:54Speaker 2: it's like, who needs this? And why would anyone buy it? You,
- 41:59Speaker 2: I don't know, and Roague knows, he knows best.
- 42:05Speaker 1: I mean, obviously, to get strong, yeah, exactly. Yeah, you're
- 42:11Speaker 1: not gonna get fucking You can't be five to six
- 42:13Speaker 1: and shredded if you don't lift fucking grill ahead stupid. Exactly.
- 42:18Speaker 2: You gotta get you gotta get.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Yeah, and you can't have one fucking idiot.
- 42:25Speaker 2: Get the Joe Rogan one to watch you while you lift.
- 42:28Speaker 1: What are you gonna lift? Regular kettlebells? When you listen
- 42:31Speaker 1: to the Joe Rogues, get real, dumbasses, You're gonna be
- 42:35Speaker 1: a whos forever if you do it that way. Obviously.
- 42:39Speaker 2: I wonder how many people have like drilled a hole
- 42:42Speaker 2: in the bottom of the Joe Rogan head kettlebell and
- 42:46Speaker 2: fucked it just from the head. Yeah, let's spray forty forty. Yeah,
- 42:53Speaker 2: it's probably forty at least. I mean there's a lot
- 42:58Speaker 2: of All right, that's somebody's done. Somebody has for sure,
- 43:02Speaker 2: I mean five hundred dollars a pop. So that cuts
- 43:05Speaker 2: out a lot of people that are just going to
- 43:07Speaker 2: be priced out.
- 43:08Speaker 1: But you know what, but also that that invites a
- 43:11Speaker 1: niche market as well. That's true. That's true, because would
- 43:15Speaker 1: you rather watch this dude fuck a busted ass Walmart
- 43:18Speaker 1: Kettlebell at Amazon Basics with the fucking bottomed out or
- 43:22Speaker 1: do you want to see him hit the fucking Joe
- 43:24Speaker 1: Roguy Gorilla Kettlebell that was five hundred from on it.
- 43:28Speaker 1: That's true, that's true. That's a man.
- 43:31Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you're not paying for Spotify premium and you're
- 43:34Speaker 2: not getting the Joe Roguekettlebell to.
- 43:36Speaker 1: Right right right. The Amazon Basics Kettlebell thumbnail just doesn't
- 43:41Speaker 1: the title. I'm not clicking on that. Fuck no Joe
- 43:45Speaker 1: Rogan Kettlebell.
- 43:46Speaker 2: Sorry, yeah, I mean I take it money for that.
- 43:51Speaker 2: Oh fuck dude, we got Redeemer by Marilyn Manson.
- 43:58Speaker 1: This one didn't make the Spotify cut.
- 44:00Speaker 2: I got it on here for really, it wasn't on yours. Yeah, dude,
- 44:04Speaker 2: we got different spotifies. We got different spotifies. Man, I'm
- 44:09Speaker 2: on the compilation by various artists, which one.
- 44:12Speaker 1: Or No, I'm not. I was on the I mean
- 44:16Speaker 1: we have the same order, but I just yeah, I
- 44:18Speaker 1: didn't have it. I didn't have me.
- 44:20Speaker 2: See, I don't think I heard this one when I
- 44:21Speaker 2: listened to it at work, So I might have been.
- 44:23Speaker 1: I might have just I had to go to YouTube
- 44:25Speaker 1: to find this one. I don't even think I could
- 44:28Speaker 1: find this on Spotify.
- 44:30Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, for some reason, this one's not playing actually
- 44:33Speaker 2: on Spotify.
- 44:34Speaker 1: Well, well, well.
- 44:37Speaker 2: It's on there, but it's not. Oh, you gotta get
- 44:41Speaker 2: a VP. You gotta get a VP in.
- 44:45Speaker 1: Market mark yourself safe from twelve and that. Oh look, yeah,
- 44:55Speaker 1: I didn't know it. It's not the this is the
- 45:01Speaker 1: This is another one of the This is another JD
- 45:03Speaker 1: Cat that Marilyn Manson stepped in for. It's the most
- 45:08Speaker 1: nightmare before Christmas song in the movie. You know when
- 45:13Speaker 1: the chorus starts ripping, all right, we got this.
- 45:18Speaker 2: I'm gonna put it on two X speeds so I
- 45:21Speaker 2: can get through.
- 45:21Speaker 1: It real quick. Oh I bet it's really good, Dan,
- 45:26Speaker 1: this is crank.
- 45:28Speaker 2: It sounds like a like a S and E s soundtrack.
- 45:36Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like all major key stuff. It feels weird
- 45:44Speaker 1: hearing Marilyn Manson sing over something like that. That kind
- 45:47Speaker 1: of that was something that stood out to me. Even
- 45:49Speaker 1: the choruses better than pause or skipped. I'm so glad
- 45:54Speaker 1: I didn't listen to this a lot of times. Yeah,
- 45:56Speaker 1: same definitely had my mind made up pretty quick about
- 45:59Speaker 1: most of it. Yeah, it's very bad. God, damn ESU.
- 46:07Speaker 2: The soundtrack fucking sucks. They should have fired Jonathan Davis's ass.
- 46:11Speaker 2: Why didn't Why didn't anybody step in and be like,
- 46:14Speaker 2: get someone else, send his ass back to Corn?
- 46:17Speaker 1: What are we?
- 46:18Speaker 2: I guess because I paid for the movie?
- 46:22Speaker 1: That makes sense for everybody. Yeah, you tell me Ale
- 46:28Speaker 1: was in wasn't in fucking red Adidas jepsuit on set?
- 46:32Speaker 2: And yeah, yeah, another one where it's like, just because
- 46:40Speaker 2: Jonathan Davis is writing the song, Marilyn Manson's trying to
- 46:43Speaker 2: sound kind of like Jonathan Davis.
- 46:45Speaker 1: Too, it just sounds like Corn. Yeah. God, I don't know.
- 46:49Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 46:51Speaker 2: This is a bad soundtrack. We gotta we gotta change
- 46:54Speaker 2: gears next time. We can't do another new metal soundtrack.
- 46:57Speaker 2: I don't trust it anymore.
- 46:59Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I don't know not to say it wasn't
- 47:03Speaker 1: it was fun giving feedback on it. Oh yeah, for sure,
- 47:08Speaker 1: there's definitely some more, some more nuggets to get to
- 47:12Speaker 1: for sure. Yeah.
- 47:13Speaker 2: Yeah, we're not even halfway through. We're just on track five.
- 47:15Speaker 2: Let's just skip over Redeemer then in track six I'll
- 47:19Speaker 2: tell you this one didn't get me fired up.
- 47:23Speaker 1: I didn't. Yeah, immediately straight out of the gate, was like,
- 47:26Speaker 1: all right, this is cool.
- 47:28Speaker 2: This Yeah, that's what I was thinking too.
- 47:30Speaker 1: I was like, this gotta be po d I'm gonna,
- 47:34Speaker 1: I'm gonna. When you get to the second verse, there
- 47:38Speaker 1: is a lyrics I would like to address.
- 47:40Speaker 2: Some lyric analysis up in here. There is Yeah, what
- 47:45Speaker 2: does he say that?
- 47:47Speaker 1: Keith says, jaw nothing nothing scary. Yeah, kids are getting
- 47:52Speaker 1: sick like malaria. And Bro, that's the most po D
- 47:57Speaker 1: ship I've ever heard on a fucking pop road. And
- 48:00Speaker 1: I'll say that for sure. Darry, Yeah, I don't think
- 48:10Speaker 1: I like if that implied, just got to it.
- 48:13Speaker 2: Yeah, dude, when that lyric rules that, I ab out front,
- 48:17Speaker 2: flipped into the crowd like an imaginary crowd and it's
- 48:20Speaker 2: just me landing on concrete.
- 48:22Speaker 1: My back breaks and I'm.
- 48:23Speaker 2: Dead, but it's worth it the song and because you're dead, Yeah,
- 48:29Speaker 2: I just lay there until somebody finds me, like, what
- 48:32Speaker 2: the fuck happened to you?
- 48:33Speaker 1: Well that it was nice, dude, Jacoby Jacoby killed it
- 48:37Speaker 1: on that.
- 48:38Speaker 2: You know, It's got me wanting to listen to that
- 48:40Speaker 2: album because I've only ever listened to uh fucking cut
- 48:43Speaker 2: My Life into Pieces song, and now I'm like, dude,
- 48:46Speaker 2: there might be more bangers on there, A little hidden
- 48:49Speaker 2: hidden gems.
- 48:50Speaker 1: Don't on that album?
- 48:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I think it's on the Yeah, it says it's
- 48:54Speaker 2: on the Infest album.
- 48:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:57Speaker 2: I mean if that song wasn't fucking pure, I don't
- 49:00Speaker 2: know what it is, same same boat. It didn't get
- 49:05Speaker 2: much better when that music video came in. They had
- 49:08Speaker 2: all the fucking fish eye Lends people in there.
- 49:10Speaker 1: Dude, Yeah, dude, Yeah, what a sick video withou like
- 49:14Speaker 1: the light boxes and ship yeah, like man like the
- 49:19Speaker 1: Masonic temple in that motherfucker for real.
- 49:23Speaker 2: Only only could have been better if if it was
- 49:26Speaker 2: made nowadays and it was a UFC octagon that they
- 49:30Speaker 2: were in with light boxes. Bro fucking kicking ask.
- 49:35Speaker 1: I think we could probably make that happen.
- 49:38Speaker 2: I'm building I don't see why not. I'm building the
- 49:41Speaker 2: cage in my backyard for that reason, just.
- 49:44Speaker 1: Just just for the soundtrack, just to put a soundtrack together.
- 49:48Speaker 1: You've taken up miss Martial Arts so that you could
- 49:52Speaker 1: so that you could build an octagon in your backyard.
- 49:56Speaker 1: Well for trademark purposes. It's probably not an octagon, right.
- 50:00Speaker 1: You could put a cage in your backyard and so
- 50:04Speaker 1: you can just score the whole evening with choice, choice cuts.
- 50:10Speaker 1: Oh are you still on the popa Roach song? Oh?
- 50:14Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I positive, because dude, I was gonna start
- 50:17Speaker 2: fucking breaking everything in the room if I kept listening
- 50:20Speaker 2: to this song. It's that good. It's just like you
- 50:23Speaker 2: get caught in it. Honestly, if I was going to
- 50:26Speaker 2: fight somebody in the UFC, I'd probably come out to
- 50:28Speaker 2: this song and they would be fucking dead instantly. Yea,
- 50:31Speaker 2: nobody stands a chance against it.
- 50:34Speaker 1: This is what Max Holloway came out to. This is
- 50:36Speaker 1: what happened to Connors. He heard Jah not too well.
- 50:40Speaker 1: We yah nothing scary. Yeah, kids are getting sick like
- 50:44Speaker 1: my lever.
- 50:45Speaker 2: Yah, he's gonna handle it. It was like a curse, dude,
- 50:51Speaker 2: a gift and a curse, the curse that keeps on
- 50:54Speaker 2: cursing ever since twenty two we've had the curse. Yeah,
- 51:01Speaker 2: this is a good one.
- 51:02Speaker 1: What you gave us to, dude, that's true.
- 51:06Speaker 2: Like if you're gonna whoop your boss's ass, put this
- 51:09Speaker 2: on on a bluetooth speaker because.
- 51:11Speaker 1: You're already mad out of the gate that you're listening
- 51:13Speaker 1: to this ass fucking soundtrack. I hate my fucking boss
- 51:18Speaker 1: and this ship sucks. You gotta dust his ass quick
- 51:24Speaker 1: so you can get up and pause the fucking phone.
- 51:26Speaker 1: Shut this music off. Oh god, dude, oh ship, dude,
- 51:32Speaker 1: And it just keeps getting worse. I got some I see. Yeah.
- 51:36Speaker 2: The next song is by Godhead.
- 51:39Speaker 1: Is this a JD song or what? Like?
- 51:41Speaker 2: I don't I don't think so this is Godhead this ship.
- 51:46Speaker 1: You know what this sounds like? You know what? I
- 51:49Speaker 1: think it was maybe Mortal Kombat trilogy when you would
- 51:52Speaker 1: go through and you would pick the tower that you
- 51:54Speaker 1: want to, like, it was like the difficulty towers that's
- 51:57Speaker 1: like to get down by you. It's playing when you're Novice.
- 52:05Speaker 1: Oh my god, I played Novice because it was only
- 52:07Speaker 1: like five guys until Goro.
- 52:09Speaker 2: What Novice was?
- 52:10Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 52:10Speaker 2: I mean you because you don't want to get your
- 52:12Speaker 2: ass what for hours and hours? It's like you just
- 52:14Speaker 2: want to try to fight, right, you want to fight
- 52:17Speaker 2: the cool guys.
- 52:18Speaker 1: You know, you only had to do one of the
- 52:20Speaker 1: two guy fights. Yeah, yeah, and then you got it
- 52:23Speaker 1: was Mataro in that game.
- 52:24Speaker 2: Sorry, Matar Yeah, Mitar, Yeah, that one was one of
- 52:28Speaker 2: the best.
- 52:29Speaker 1: Like shout go on that one was sick.
- 52:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I love that Mortal Kombat probably, Yeah, I mean it.
- 52:35Speaker 1: Was definitely the one. I'm most familiar with that in
- 52:37Speaker 1: Mortal Kombat too.
- 52:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I love Yeah. I just wish they had combos
- 52:43Speaker 2: in Mortal Kombat too, because you always go back to
- 52:45Speaker 2: play that one after like playing trilogy, and you're used
- 52:48Speaker 2: to hitting those like eight eight piece combos and ship,
- 52:51Speaker 2: and then you go to two and it's like, you
- 52:52Speaker 2: can't do that ship anymore.
- 52:54Speaker 1: I don't think I ever did any of that on purpose.
- 52:56Speaker 2: No, you just press the fucking buttons as hard as
- 52:58Speaker 2: you can and then Yeah, I didn't know the actual ones.
- 53:02Speaker 2: I'm not saying it happened, right, It just wasn't on purpose.
- 53:06Speaker 2: You just just hit the button. That's why he's the best.
- 53:09Speaker 2: Get just keep hitting, hopefully it doesn't stop. No, the
- 53:13Speaker 2: picture here of the artists, it looks like each one
- 53:16Speaker 2: of these guys that is trying to hypnotize me into
- 53:18Speaker 2: having gay sex.
- 53:23Speaker 1: Due maybe I don't want to look at it.
- 53:25Speaker 2: And the song is called Penetrate dude. That is one
- 53:27Speaker 2: hundred percent what's going on.
- 53:29Speaker 1: Here's someone to play on the phone.
- 53:33Speaker 2: That's right. Oh, these are like the guys in Mortal
- 53:39Speaker 2: Kombat Annihilation that were like off to the side while
- 53:42Speaker 2: people were getting their assets.
- 53:43Speaker 3: One.
- 53:44Speaker 1: I feel like the guys.
- 53:49Speaker 2: I mean, honestly, I'd hang out with them. The guy
- 53:52Speaker 2: in the fish net looks like he doesn't really want
- 53:54Speaker 2: to be wearing lipstick that much.
- 53:56Speaker 1: It's like he looks definitely the dude with the cool
- 54:01Speaker 1: any crabits classes kind of looks like Chris O'Donnell and
- 54:03Speaker 1: Batman and Robbin but with dreads. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 54:08Speaker 1: he's definitely there for a good time. Yeah, he's got
- 54:11Speaker 1: a couple of charges that they don't like to talk about.
- 54:14Speaker 2: Back in the day when you could have.
- 54:16Speaker 1: Those, yeah, don't ask, don't tell.
- 54:19Speaker 2: Yeah, those always used to slide back in the day. Nowadays,
- 54:23Speaker 2: like you can't do goddamn anything. You can't get a
- 54:25Speaker 2: fucking dui without people.
- 54:27Speaker 1: Yeah, man, what do you mean your bands on this poster?
- 54:33Speaker 1: Did you fucking get a ticket last week? We're coming
- 54:37Speaker 1: for you.
- 54:38Speaker 2: You're gonna get dropped from fucking warped toward twenty twenty,
- 54:42Speaker 2: who vote for We're looking at your registration motherfucker making
- 54:49Speaker 2: sure that shits.
- 54:50Speaker 1: Up to part they're pulling up your Facebook post from
- 54:54Speaker 1: fucking Yeah two thousand and two godheadsong fucking sucked. Uh.
- 55:00Speaker 1: There's a part around the after the second chorus where
- 55:04Speaker 1: they were doing what I believe was a reverse delay
- 55:08Speaker 1: pinch harmonic. Oh yeah, I think is what that might
- 55:11Speaker 1: have been. It's kind of fun. Yeah, didn't make it
- 55:14Speaker 1: suck less. But and then it gets to the actual end,
- 55:18Speaker 1: and like I thought, I thought they were gonna bring
- 55:21Speaker 1: the chorus back to Thank fucking god they did. If
- 55:25Speaker 1: they did, dude, I mean, the song's already four minutes. Dude.
- 55:30Speaker 1: How did they stretch some of these songs out? Dude,
- 55:33Speaker 1: it's crazy to me. Their industrial dance mixes. They gotta,
- 55:37Speaker 1: they gotta put it on a loop. They got they
- 55:40Speaker 1: have a light show, uh setless link to Matt as
- 55:44Speaker 1: the check with Slovakian Nightclub. Yeah, everybody's wearing those fur
- 55:50Speaker 1: coats from Triple X like bensl war.
- 55:55Speaker 2: So this next song is called Slept So long un
- 56:00Speaker 2: by Jay Gordon and I slipt so one more like
- 56:04Speaker 2: sucked my schlong o.
- 56:09Speaker 1: Fuck.
- 56:09Speaker 2: Yeah, dude, you got there.
- 56:11Speaker 8: Dude, you did you got me too. I didn't it
- 56:17Speaker 8: at all this, dude, this is fucking angry.
- 56:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I got it on right now. I just cranked
- 56:24Speaker 2: it up to one hundred.
- 56:25Speaker 1: D'st man, you got to bring that. Corey Taylor cleans, Yeah, I.
- 56:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I got it on right now. Dude, he really
- 56:36Speaker 2: does more than I go to your room for it?
- 56:37Speaker 2: Is he like when he hit when he says the
- 56:40Speaker 2: F word, he really like says it.
- 56:41Speaker 1: He's like he means it. Yeah. Oh yeah, you can
- 56:44Speaker 1: tell he's not. No.
- 56:48Speaker 2: Yeah, this is another suck you want.
- 56:50Speaker 1: It's bad.
- 56:50Speaker 2: I don't even know who this is either.
- 56:52Speaker 1: Jay Gordon says, du from Orgy? Isn't it?
- 56:56Speaker 2: Oh?
- 56:56Speaker 1: Is it? Is this the guy from? Oh?
- 56:58Speaker 2: You're right?
- 56:58Speaker 1: I think this might be another Jay Ja song.
- 57:02Speaker 2: Man, it's too bad. This is like a ship stain
- 57:04Speaker 2: on all these guys careers, like they I don't.
- 57:07Speaker 1: Is it it's I mean, I don't know. You got
- 57:13Speaker 1: Orgy with the Blue Monday track. He could have done
- 57:17Speaker 1: the story with my Grandpa, like I think I think
- 57:20Speaker 1: the story of my Grandpa probably tops this. It does.
- 57:24Speaker 1: This is terrible. It's not great.
- 57:27Speaker 2: Why does every song like the Keys or like the
- 57:31Speaker 2: little like metallic sounding like fucking xylophone in the back,
- 57:38Speaker 2: like every song.
- 57:39Speaker 1: Has like like we don't I wonder if I wonder
- 57:46Speaker 1: if Jonathan Davis, Jonathan Davis and this the beg guy
- 57:51Speaker 1: we're trying to go for like an Atticus Ross Trent
- 57:54Speaker 1: Reznor thing and just get weird. Maybe they just wanted
- 57:59Speaker 1: to be artsy. And there's actually a later on this,
- 58:03Speaker 1: a part that at the end of the song sounded
- 58:05Speaker 1: like something off the social network, like straight Atticus rossa
- 58:09Speaker 1: Trent Resnor, like a little outro thing. This the lyrics
- 58:15Speaker 1: on this, do you have the lyrics? And this pulled
- 58:16Speaker 1: out by chance sending me in your eyeline lyrics, Let's
- 58:20Speaker 1: do a straight faced lyric reading. I guess at a
- 58:24Speaker 1: glance that doesn't look as awful as it sounds. He
- 58:26Speaker 1: just he's so fucking mad that his dad sent him
- 58:29Speaker 1: to his room and it's just all so so angsty,
- 58:33Speaker 1: and yeah, I just.
- 58:35Speaker 2: Wonder, like how old is this guy?
- 58:37Speaker 1: How old is j D at this time?
- 58:38Speaker 2: Because if they're like touching forty years old, I think
- 58:41Speaker 2: they need a you know, I think they can let
- 58:43Speaker 2: some of this shit go. You know, it's yeah, have
- 58:46Speaker 2: a reconciliation. With their popa.
- 58:50Speaker 1: Just call him dude wants to hear.
- 58:53Speaker 2: Yeah, he's probably not. He's probably not mad at you anymore.
- 58:56Speaker 2: And you guys probably a more incommon than what you think.
- 59:00Speaker 1: Just need to he just thought you were gay? Dude?
- 59:06Speaker 2: Can you blame him? I mean, come on, son, Okay,
- 59:13Speaker 2: he's walking waiting, a hoping and hating the things that
- 59:18Speaker 2: I can't bear this.
- 59:18Speaker 1: This is some poetry.
- 59:22Speaker 2: Did you think it's cool to walk right up to
- 59:24Speaker 2: take my life and fuck it up? That's where he
- 59:27Speaker 2: drops that hard fans and.
- 59:31Speaker 1: Then he says, well did you well?
- 59:34Speaker 3: Did you?
- 59:35Speaker 1: Yeah? This sucks. There's a there's a part where he
- 59:40Speaker 1: rips a very long winded I hate you, and it's
- 59:44Speaker 1: aw whoever that was for. I just I couldn't imagine
- 59:48Speaker 1: the vibe in the studio that day, Like like, can
- 59:51Speaker 1: you imagine being like in there while this dude's recording
- 59:55Speaker 1: these vocals and you're like even the booth and you're
- 59:57Speaker 1: in the room with everybody else, like, who's gonna suck
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: telling this dude honestly run the bathroom. Let's say, Jay,
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: we're gonna go fucking smoke cigarette garbage dog.
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: They need so much like the cops have to have
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: body cams at all times.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: Now.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: I think you need to have body cams in the
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: studio from now on, Like it's gotta be a required thing,
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: because I would I would love to watch these studio
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: sessions and just really the sound guy has to have
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: the body cam like on him so you can see
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: his face the whole time.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: It's all just like the take of the Lars's dad
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: telling him that he wouldn't use that take is on?
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: Is it on some kind of or not? Some kind
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: of monster? Wasn't on some kind of monster? It's on
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: a Metallica DVD? Is that the one that came with
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: like Lars's dad is there? Maybe fuck I would have
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: told him not to use that take heat, Yeah.
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: Dude, Lars has some around that time. Uh, Lars is
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: the worst fucking guy to be in a band with.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: I'd say, yeah, that was probably not idea.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: I think Lars was a good drummer. Like when you
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: go back and listen to his old ship, it's like, yeah,
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: he had some fucking sick beats, some really creative drum
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: styling going on there. But uh about saying around the
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: same saint Inger came out, It's like, dude, you're just
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: getting shitty at drums. I don't know what to tell you. Yeah,
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: like it sucks, but it's happening. And yeah, still ripping
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: the double kick sets. He doesn't even give a fuck
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: if he's playing in time or whatever. It's just like awesome.
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: I mean, he's just do I'd be doing it too
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: if I could. Oh yeah, I don't blame him one bit.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: You know how snake pit tickets are.
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: Bro, Dude, you imagine getting cut a check like that
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: for playing the drums wrong.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: That would be amazing. I couldn't imagine getting paid to
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: do it right exactly.
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: Oh I'm jealous. Honestly, he's a legend. What can I say?
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: The fucking speaking of legends.
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: Oh so track nine, Track nine, that's where the whole
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: thing turns around. We get the big dog himself, the
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: track that was missing from screen three down with the
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: sickness by Disturbed.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: My first knee jerk reaction like oh ship, And then
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: after oh shit, it's uh two song? Who tracks?
- 1:02:32Speaker 5: And what what are we?
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: Was this not number eight? Is David Raymond the king
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: of the day? That's a good question. I mean, I
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: think you're right. I think he is. I mean, I
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: don't know. Those numbers don't lie, and the piercings don't either.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: I hadn't even brought that.
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: Could you imagine him and Aliyah with his bald head
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: and those big piercings, King and Queen just.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: Taken over, rocking the fucking boat, dude, d just hitting
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: the studio together.
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: Man was down with the sickness on Screen three. Just now,
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: I'm starting to second guess myself.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: No, I wish a Disturbed song, wasn't there. No, No,
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: there was no Disturbed on screen a single one. Damn.
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: Maybe that's why I got brought up. We're like, they
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: should have Disturbed on here.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: Screen three could have had a bitch and ass soundtrack.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: But it was close. It was close.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: Yeah, after looking at the Queen of the damn soundtrack, like,
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: I'm like, dude, they got away closer with Screen three
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: than they did with this one.
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: That's fair.
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: Yeah, why didn't they? Yeah, they didn't have Jonathan Davis
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: writing every song for Screen three, so that.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: Probably helps out a little bit. Yeah, I'm just glad
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: that I didn't have to find out that Jonathan Davis
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: wrote that deaf toone song.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: All Time Bummer for sure a question.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: Yeah, No, we talked about uh, we talked about down
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: with the sickness. Yes, at the end of stream three
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: for some reason. Yeah, but what did he do to
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: make his mom so fucking mad? That's a good question.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: She's pissed, dude.
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: She stuck her fucking hand in his face over and over,
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: apparently like enough to where he's he's like gonna kill
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: it for it.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: That's a lot of nice. Yeah, and I gotta do
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: that again, bitch. Dude.
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: I felt I feel uncomfortable every time I hear this
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: song in that part kicks in. Like when I was
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: listening to this through, I was just like I wanted
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: to change it, but I was like, I feel like
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: I just gotta, like, you.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: Know, the man there's a cold beat in the background behind.
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: It, Yeah, is fucking hitting.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: And he's just going off.
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: That's another one where it's like, dude, I need the
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: I need the body cam footage for that. When the
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: guy recording, I just he doesn't know, you know, he's
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: not been prepped for this at all, and he's just like,
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: you know, the first three fourths of the song are done,
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: and he's just like, damn, this is a fucking banger,
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: We got a hit on our hands, and then they're
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: just like, yeah, what.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: Are you a bridge? Yeah? Got anything? He's like and
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: he like looks up and it's piercings rattle, and he's like, yeah,
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: I got something.
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: That voice, Yeah, the fucking dark Knight voice.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: Justice, I'm not something for you. I'm not wearing occupants.
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: Dim the lights, they're just like what he has one
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: of those different lights the lights.
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: Dim the lights and punch me in and bring the
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: fucking trap back. Can you imagine the beginning though he's
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: in there like like fucking going back and forth you
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: ship ship? Can you feel it? Just like like he
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: just hit us with it?
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: Oh yeah, dude, I feel like the fucking roof would
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: have came in when oh man, like if they didn't
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: expect that, like if he wasn't practicing that, and he's
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: just like, I'm saving this one up for the guys,
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: you know, like surprise him with some real and then
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: he hits him with that. In the studio, I feel
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: like they'd fucking gone nuts.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: In the Bore's I feel like I feel like there
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: are a lot of vocal takes that I could have
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: been blindsided by. Looking back, at as a Disturbed song.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: I think, yeah, I think there's some probably some hot
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: vocal takes in.
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: The yeah big time, Like, well have you heard that song?
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: Stupefy all of it, dude, Like every line is almost
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: as good as the law line.
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: I think every line probably on the fucking Turtleneck Man album.
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: You know what, uh ship, I'm drying.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: The Disturbed album.
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: Oh yeah, okay, thinking of a real turtleneck.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I mean.
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: It might as well, might as well be Yeah, that's
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: a good point. And you know that makes a lot
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: of sense that it would be like a foreskin. Maybe
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: that's why so mad.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: He kind of looks like fucking mister tusk give it back,
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: get me, dude? Have you ever seen that? What have
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: you ever seen the video of the the dude that
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: made like compilation of disturbed greatest hit, like implying it
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: was just all one song. He like just like makes
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: up noises and sh it's it's I still like stem
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: and do some of these noises this guy makes in
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: his video And my wife's a big fan of it.
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: Yeah, you gotta send that to me. Is there anything
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: else to say about Down with the Sickness? I mean,
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: I loved your point in the last episode about how
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: he just fucking hits him with that heavy subject matter
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: in the middle of this like killer song.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I really really killed the vibe on this, really
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: killed the vibe on this, this new metal banger, this
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: new metal anthem.
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: I guess he is kind of dropping hints in the
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: verses though, Like when I listened to it, I was
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: thinking about that, and I was like, he is constantly
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: talking about turning into a demon, and it's kind of like, yeah,
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: what else does he like? What else does that mean?
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: Really? And men? Yeah, did Jonathan Davis write that one too?
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: He better not have.
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: I'll be more mad than that. I think his problems
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: were with his dad. Yeah, clearly a different parents subject matter. Yeah, Yeah,
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: you don't see a lot of mom anger in JD's lyrics.
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: It's all about the dad. That's why him and m
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: and a click. Yeah, which one the guy from Disturbed
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: or JD? Oh wait, no, I guess I jumped timelines
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: there for a second. The JD was Yeah, the dad
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: dad issues issues.
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: I mean I think he had both. I just read
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: a little thing the other day that said that, like, uh,
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: he never talked to his dad again and his Dad's
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: like dead or whatever. I saw.
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: He must have had his panties up in a bunch.
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: I think he can at everybody. That's fair. Yeah. I
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: mean when you're you have time to be mad at people. Yeah.
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: I just fucking fucking suck it, Dad, suck it.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah.
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: I dusted it off the soundboard for this one. I
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: figured it was worth it.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: I like that, I'm gonna I'm gonna get one of
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: those soon.
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: It's worth it. I mean, I think this is the
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: perfect setting for it. I think maybe the movie reviews
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: were rubbing people the wrong way because they were like,
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: I have like some deep thoughts about the movies, and
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: then I was just like, you know, doing that, and
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: they're like, you fucking asshole. I love this movie, like,
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: oh my god, and they.
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: Did not like it. You had a fal machine now,
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: I fucking love terrified to get your fucking fog machine now. Yeah,
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: fucking nerve ship.
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: So track ten, oh dude, oh my god, more staticas
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: it's almost.
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: Like stat they curd my king, my king, and the
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: damn comments and said, hold my braided got holt bit.
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: It's almost like they didn't want to cut anybody else checks,
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: so they probably bargained with all these artists and they're like,
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: how about we give you like a check and a
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: half for two songs that Jonathan Davis is.
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: Yeah, pretend we're doing corn.
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: Yeah, you won't even have to try very hard.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: You won't either, Just come in sound just enough like
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: yourself to sound like Jonathan Davis.
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: The thing about this though, it's the radio mix, which
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: is also known as the Freeze mixed.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: Yeah, and I made sure to write all of that down.
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: Do you think that's just a just a play like
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: doubling down on how cold they are cold? We're so cold?
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: We are so cold, We're so cold. It's the fucking dude,
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: ri ip.
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: I know, man, one of the greats, one of the
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: greatest musicians ever lived.
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: I don't even know if he was the greatest musician
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: that lived in that band the great He was the
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: greatest musician in that band that looked like the slim
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: gym guy. Yeah, this song suck too, though, Yeah.
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: Oh fuck dude, it's just another slow one. Why can't
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: we get like one? Like you could put all these
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: songs on two X and may be twice as good,
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: because for one thing, he cut the playtime in half
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: and also you get it like a you know, just
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: a little bit of a quicker song.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: Yeah, but the club mix has got to get to
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: pop in Yeah. I guess the relevance of the Deep
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: Freezer it's a good question.
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: I wonder what the difference is. Yeah, Like if you
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: put on the regular mix and compare it to the
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: Deep Freeze mix, is it that much different that it
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: needs a new mix?
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm not going to, but I'm not either.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: I don't care, but I just want to. I want
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: to believe in my heart that this is the only
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: version of this song, and this is just what it's called,
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: and it's only on the Queen of the Day old
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: radio mix, a ka dre mix.
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: Honestly, whenever, whenever I start releasing music again, I think
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: that's what I'm gonna do with all the tracks, just
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: like just all of them have like three or four
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: different like sub mixes on there.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: But it's just one song. It's not there's not any
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: other version of it that exists. It's one take that's
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: just that version with the low that's just the whole
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: idol of it. Though the round form it's mid scooped mix,
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: mid scoop Spotify make the nine to eleven mix getting that?
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: Dude, what why didn't they just get the Breaking Benjamin
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: song on here?
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: That is a band.
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: I'm surprised we haven't seen on either of these soundtracks.
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: I mean, were they relevant? Yeah? I don't know. This
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: is two thousand, This is the same year. Let me see.
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: I feel like I was hearing Breaking Benjamin by the
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: time I was twelve, So I'm gonna look it up though.
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: I got Oh, two thousand, Yeah, two thousand and two
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: they came out with Saturate.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: Whatever the fuck that is? That's an album by them? Oh?
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: Yeah, they were formed in nineteen ninety nine. They had
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: time to get a track on the Queen of the
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: Damn soundtrack by then.
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: Yeah, you mean to tell me they weren't relevant.
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: Yeah, we hadn't heard Animal I have Begun yet.
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: Is that them?
- 1:14:42Speaker 5: Oh?
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: My god? Is it? Is it them?
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: Or is it.
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: That's said? Or is that a Three Days Grace? There
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: you go? Thank you? Is it them? Yeah, that's I'm
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: pretty sure that's Three Days Grace.
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: Yeah, they're from Canada. Oh Three Days Grace. Why aren't
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: they on this? They were Wait, they were formed in
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: nineteen ninety two. They had plenty of time.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: Wow, what the fuck? They had time to be relevant
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: and not relevant enough to be on this soundtrack. Yeah,
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: they should be making their return to music right now
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: if they exactly yeahs they should be on their second win.
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: Oh yeah, there's their limp biscuit right now is what
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: they need to be doing.
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: I don't know, I feel like they were big, like
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: way like when we were in high school for sure. Yeah.
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: I'm seeing a picture right here from two thousand and six,
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: which is like peak peak high school for me, you know,
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: the middle of the high school career.
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: And I see that guy.
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: He's got like just the bottom goat and a mohawk.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: Okay, and he's got like one of the like Mark
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: Tremanny looking and ship.
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: Yeah, like a like if like Mark Tremani took the
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: ship from Secret of the Ooze and blew.
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: Up had like the fucking like the twisted tod.
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: Yeah, because he's got like a guitar that Mark Tremani
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: would play, but it's not a Paul Reid Smith. It's
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: like a Scheckter or something.
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: So that would.
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: Like if you gave a Paul Reaed Smith's Secret of
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: the Ooze it would turn into a Schecter, a Scheckter demon, Yeah,
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: with the fucking evil looking thing on the twelfth frat.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: Like an evil looking fuck yeah, dude.
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: Flame or something. My Scheckter had bat wing in lays
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: on it.
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: Fuck yeah, I did bro that was I never had
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: a I just had that one.
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: That was the Floyd Rose guitar I had. Yeah, it sucked. Sorry,
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: that's all right. They make some cool looking ship now.
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: They have a lot of like Teley copies and strack copies.
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: I was gonna say, the uh, the new guitar player
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: that just joined mast at, Nick Johnson. He has several
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: signatures through Scheckter that are all really fucking cool.
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: Those are the ones I always see, the Nick Johnson signatures.
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: I'm like, damn, I would get those. They look like
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: the Yeah, they're they're really neat.
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: Well, the biggest disappointment on the soundtrack is coming up
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: because I was teased out bad by this because I
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: just glanced at the track list and I saw this
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: on here and I was like, I cannot fucking wait.
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: Not the Headstrong I wanted, No, no Headstrong by the
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: band ear shot, not trapped the fuck out of here.
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: The fu is ear shot or like come shoo, get
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: these guys.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: God, but then they started playing I'm like, is this Chevelle?
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: This is okay? Yeah? Yeah. But then but then I
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: remember again that that it wasn't Trapped, and yeah, that sucks.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: And then about the middle way of the song, yeah exactly.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: Well then they double down. They make it even worse.
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: They go from ripping off Chevelle to about halfway through
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: the song they start ripping off tool. Oh oh yeah yeah,
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: and it turned into a tool song right around the
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: mid My god, dude, you're right.
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: I remember hearing that and being like, is this a
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: tool song? They do that really long pause or you're like, oh,
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: the song's over, and then it kicks back in and
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: he's like, no, it's not. You know what's gonna go?
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: What's gonna bumm you out? Even more about this whole conundrum.
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: Trapped released the song Headstrong in two thousand and two,
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: so it also could have been on this album.
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: We really need to revisit fixing all of these soundtracks.
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: I'm pissed, honestly.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: So sucks.
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: It's like, I feel kind of bad just trashing this
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: whole album. I mean, I guess it's not like it's
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: Is it an album that someone actually worked on? Is
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: what I keep asking myself though, or well, I mean
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: some of it is, and that yeah, God damn. Track
- 1:18:47Speaker 2: twelve is a song called Body Crumbles by dry Cell.
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: Oh man, and guess what first comment UFC song?
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: Oh yeah, it's got the UFC bassline.
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: But we're back, We're back to you songs.
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: I knew we were gonna have at least one.
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: Yeah, and this one touches more. This one goes back
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: into the go to your room core and felt like
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: a man at my parents type of song. But on
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: all not great. There's a little Lincoln Parking Yeah, and
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: I mean Chester was on here a few songs ago.
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: Why didn't they just put a fucking Lincoln barks song.
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: Oh yeah, a Lincoln Park song. All thanks a lot, Brock.
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: This album fuck suck, and that's gonna feel so bad
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: if this, if this part stays in here, I'm gonna
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: feel so bad because Brock's gonna be so excited listening
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: to this.
- 1:19:31Speaker 5: And then it's gonna be like, fuck you, bron He'd
- 1:19:33Speaker 5: be like, oh man, like ship, Brock's so sweet and
- 1:19:38Speaker 5: soft and gentle and like even joking about being mean
- 1:19:41Speaker 5: to him feels so brong.
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: Yeah, it doesn't know. Thanks the fucking a lot, dude,
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: you made me listen to the worst album of my
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: fucking life. Man, geez, try again hit me with a
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: different soundtrack next time.
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: Yeah, we can get him another shot.
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: Yeah you can go make it, you can come back.
- 1:20:04Speaker 2: I appreciated the recommendation for sure, because I was kind of, absolutely,
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: do we do scream For?
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: Like? It feels weird doing it. Man, scream For was
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: so bad it looked it was. I think it was
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: worse than this.
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: I don't doubt it. I gave it like one look
- 1:20:18Speaker 2: and I was just like, I don't even I don't
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: feel any sort of excitement about Yeah, Like.
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: It all sounded like songs they got from Victoria. Yeah,
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: it all sounded like they ripped off the Are you
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: going to be My girl? Idiot? Yeah?
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: I don't know if I could do I mean, I'll
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: do it. I don't know how, like how I'll come
- 1:20:42Speaker 2: out on the other end of it, though, I might
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: be a changed man by the time I can.
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: Uh. This song trick tricky, Oh wait the band that's tricky.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you're right, this song is Yeah tricky excess. Well,
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: now hold on, slow down on guy, because there's a
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: lyric in here at some point says something me walk
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: you back a little bit. It starts I'm like, oh,
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: is this fucking like uncle crack. I'm like, okay, that
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: was That was the overall vibe through most of it.
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: But then you get to some point where there's a
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: lyric about my child bearing hips. I'm like, oh, this
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: is a chick. Oh there is a chick sing Well,
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: there's there's a chick singing in the background. But like this,
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: this one that's like dropping these bars is says something
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: about child bearing hips.
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: Maybe he's maybe that he might be trained. Uh, this
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: is a like the picture I'm seeing.
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: I know this. I've heard.
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: I've heard a song or two by this guy before.
- 1:21:47Speaker 2: It's like a black dude. I've watched some of it,
- 1:21:49Speaker 2: watching one of his music videos. Oh maybe it's not chicks. Yeah,
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: but then yeah, he's got that chick singer come in.
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: I recognize this guy because he does have a song
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: that I like called right Here that's pretty cool, and
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: he has I think I'm guessing the same chicks singing
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: that song too. It's pretty good.
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: But this one.
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: Didn't do much for me.
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: Yeah, this was not it was not great. Yeah, there's
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: four minutes of a chanting for the last like most
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: of the song, this is the one that went into
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: the There was like a little pano frill at the end.
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: It sounded like a attitus. It sounded like something from
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: the social network.
- 1:22:30Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I see that for sure. It's very like
- 1:22:34Speaker 2: Whispery too, Like all all the lines are just like
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: him whispering, and I was kind of like, what the
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: fuck's he's saying. I kept having to turn the volume up,
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: but then you just get like the piano shit just
- 1:22:43Speaker 2: gets louder, so you can't you still can't hear it. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: it's never ending. You had to want to hear what
- 1:22:49Speaker 2: was going on. Yeah, it was, you know, not my
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: favorite track on the album. I'll say that.
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: I'll say that as well. I can also say that,
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: but a long last we finally fucking.
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: Made it the band Kidney Thieves.
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: I feel like, if you're gonna name your band Kidney thieves,
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: one word, are we capitalizing kidney? Yeah, keep it low,
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: just just make it all over case at that point, Yeah, yeah.
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: That would that would make me feel a little better
- 1:23:18Speaker 2: about this.
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: The song is called the Yeah I'm Dead, well before
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: I'm dead, it's not. They came in a straight farty
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: guitar and Prodigy drum.
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: Yeah yeah they do yeah big time.
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: And actually on the chorus on the song was kind
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: of cool and there was like a heavy part after
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: the chorus. It was after like the second chorus I
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: think was pretty cool. Hea version of the chorus.
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: I remember this one being like it stood out because
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: the chick's voice is pretty out of place.
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: But yeah, very as soon as the verse starts, it
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: just didn't. It did not sit well. I don't know
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: if that was a mixing thing or just the tone
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: of of her her voice, but yeah, something it just.
- 1:24:03Speaker 2: Stood out, like yeah, I was like, all right, it's
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: not a good way. Yeah, no, something is off here.
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: It kind of reminded me of like the lady that
- 1:24:12Speaker 2: sings in the band Kitty a little bit.
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: But not as well.
- 1:24:18Speaker 2: Actually quite a bit like that now that I'm hearing
- 1:24:20Speaker 2: it again. But I think Kitty might be like a
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: cooler band. I guess because they look they look cooler,
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: you know.
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: I want to say, let's see what let's see what
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: kidney thieves look like. Says there a duo. Yeah they
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: look stupid too.
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: A couple of fucking dumb asses, A couple of fucking
- 1:24:41Speaker 2: nerd ass Kidney Thieves the backwards. Oh really so they are?
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: It's part of the corn ritual we got.
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: Okay, Yeah they're okay. Yeah, they're a little edgy.
- 1:24:52Speaker 2: They're flipping their letters. Yeah, it makes sense why they
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: made it on here, right, that checks out.
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: So the first time that I made it through the
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: album at a very full circle moment, after this lovely
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: Kidney Thieves song ended and Spotify immediately played Awake Godsmack,
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: which was the UFC song for many mini moons, and
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: that just I'm telling you that the content that we
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: have been consuming with these soundtracks is done some pretty
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: irreversible damage to my my Spotify, I think. Damn Yeah,
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: I agree.
- 1:25:38Speaker 2: I mean I'm getting some some questionable reracks on here
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: now too.
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:25:46Speaker 2: Do you want to listen to Drowning Pool next?
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know. I'm not gonna say
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: I don't.
- 1:25:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, if you put it on, it depends
- 1:25:56Speaker 2: on the song is it is it gonna be a
- 1:25:58Speaker 2: good Seither song or a bad s either song. That's
- 1:26:02Speaker 2: what I'm trying to figure out right now. Oh my god,
- 1:26:08Speaker 2: it's so good. Yeah, did you did you have a
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: favorite album? Let me take another look at these. Yeah,
- 1:26:17Speaker 2: oh for sure, I think there's some like there's some
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: songs that definitely stand out. It's like this is actually
- 1:26:22Speaker 2: a real song, like maybe yeah, like four of them. Uh,
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: it's definitely so. The four songs that are real songs
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: are like change obviously, dead Son, Papa Roach gets on
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: the list, which you know, maybe on a different soundtrack
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: it might not, but on this one it stands out
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: like it shines Papa and charge down with the sickness obviously,
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: and uh, maybe there's only three actually might have been
- 1:26:50Speaker 2: the not Trapped Headstrong Yeah yeah, yeah, that one. I'd
- 1:26:57Speaker 2: say it would eken on there. For me, for sure,
- 1:26:59Speaker 2: it gets by. I need to listen to it again too,
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: because I just remember like it did stand out. Actually, yeah,
- 1:27:05Speaker 2: now that you talk about that like that one, I
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: was like, Okay, this sounds like a song that someone
- 1:27:09Speaker 2: wrote that Jonathan Davis didn't like. Somehow go into the
- 1:27:13Speaker 2: future and create like AI music generator before it exists,
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: and then made this his own music. Yeah, like check
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: it out. I need to make fucking ten or twelve
- 1:27:23Speaker 2: tracks for some other guys.
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: Sounds just like me.
- 1:27:26Speaker 2: Yeah, they're just like here you go. So yeah, I
- 1:27:32Speaker 2: guess if I had to pick one, I'm gonna go
- 1:27:34Speaker 2: with Dead Cell by popa Roach.
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: Well. I felt like the Deaftown song was just an
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: easy pick, and I feel like down with the Sickness
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: would have been an ironic pick. But I didn't hate
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: this this popa Roach.
- 1:27:48Speaker 2: Yeah, it stood out to me where I was like,
- 1:27:50Speaker 2: even though I mean the lyrics are goofy as fuck
- 1:27:52Speaker 2: and the way the way he raps, the way Jakobe
- 1:27:56Speaker 2: likes to rap really fucking like, I don't know, it's
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: it's always an interesting choice when he kicks into like
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: a little rap thing, I guess, like a flow.
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: Yeah, but I mean both of the both of the
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: popa Roach songs that I'm familiar.
- 1:28:11Speaker 2: With now he does it in yeah, So I mean, yeah,
- 1:28:16Speaker 2: that's a lie.
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: I know a hand Flipopa Roach. So I'm not gonna
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: act like I'm too cool.
- 1:28:22Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a you know, I know, I know a
- 1:28:24Speaker 2: couple now, I know three at least because I know
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: the one tear my Heart Open song.
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: Oh, that was a high school song, My Weaknesses and
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: I Care too much? You know.
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: Yeah, it's funny really like he's you know, it was
- 1:28:41Speaker 2: probably like a similar thing with Aaron Lewis trying not
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: to pull down the mic and scream into it while
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: like they were trying to get him not to rap.
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: In that song, and instead he came through and screamed,
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: I'm sorry, but I got to move on with my
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: own life.
- 1:28:56Speaker 2: Yes, like no rapping, We need a ballad. They're like,
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: we'll let you fucking scream and scream again. I can't
- 1:29:05Speaker 2: help you fix yourself, you know. But it's say, that's
- 1:29:10Speaker 2: like a Blue October song?
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: You know, Oh, is it like a Blue October song?
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: Just how like.
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: Sentimental it is?
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: I guess.
- 1:29:22Speaker 2: I guess every Bloctober song I've heard is like basically
- 1:29:26Speaker 2: about how he's like wants to die and stuff, So
- 1:29:29Speaker 2: maybe it's not.
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know that I'm really familiar with any
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: Blue October songs. I mean, I know, like the damn
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: Now I'm draw on a blank, Oh, like hate me,
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: Hate me today? That was a Bloocktober song. Yeah, that song?
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: Fuck yeah, dude, man, I think once we I'm gonna
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: keep track of the ones that we decided we're our favorites.
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: Once we get a couple of these under our belt,
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: make a pump and ass.
- 1:29:56Speaker 9: Playlist, Ultimate playlist, dude, the best of the best, honest,
- 1:30:02Speaker 9: the Ultimate Summer Jams, the ultimate soundtrack, and then we
