- 0:01SPEAKER_01: Now give it about a week and your systems will all be back in check and you'll be back to normal.
- 0:06SPEAKER_01: So it might be a little bit of a mad rush right now, first day of school in New York.
- 0:10SPEAKER_01: But I'm I was just curious, like, all right, how are we doing?
- 0:13SPEAKER_01: Have you had to yell at the kids seven times to get up?
- 0:15SPEAKER_01: Are they up?
- 0:16SPEAKER_01: What what's happening in your house right now?
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: Think about when there is that first day of school picture and then the last day of school picture.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: The first one, they always look so bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: And then by the last day of school, it's hanged out.
- 0:30SPEAKER_01: Let me out.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, right, right, right.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 0:33SPEAKER_00: I always get so excited on the first day of school.
- 0:35SPEAKER_00: Here we go.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: Uh, we'd asked, what is the senior sunrise?
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: And the answer is seniors gather in the parking lot for the sunrise.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: Some cook breakfast or bring it.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: That's I love that little tradition.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: Um, let's see.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: Dryden seniors go onto the turf to watch sunrise on the first day of school for their last long tradition.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: Last year long tradition.
- 0:58SPEAKER_01: That's pretty cool.
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: That is.
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: We never did that when I was growing up.
- 1:01SPEAKER_01: No, me neither.
- 1:02SPEAKER_01: I mean, does somebody bring a black stone and they're flipping pancakes this early in the morning?
- 1:06SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, that'd be awesome.
- 1:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah, right?
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: Somebody's got the bacon going.
- 1:09SPEAKER_01: I'm curious on that.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: 56-10.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: My son has been up since 5 30.
- 1:12SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: Doesn't have to be at school till 7 45, all dressed, ready to go.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: Won't last.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: What no, that will not last.

- 1:22SPEAKER_00: My younger teen daughter, 13 and 14, love school.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: They're both in varsity sports and they've been practicing for weeks already.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: So I think they've already been in the mode of getting into a schedule, is what I would be guessing.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: Um, and they they also have been up since 4 a.m.

- 2:11SPEAKER_01: It it it's a pattern we gotta fall into.
