- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Pony Joe starts it for us.
- 0:01SPEAKER_00: Good everyone! Good everyone! It's the three F's, finally freaking Friday.
- 0:07SPEAKER_01: Amen.
- 0:08SPEAKER_01: Although it is a slow move this morning.
- 0:10SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's a late Bills game last night, and uh I had one eye open during the fourth quarter twice.
- 0:17SPEAKER_01: I finally just shut the TV off.
- 0:18SPEAKER_01: I'm like, alright, I know we're gonna win, but I'll get the final final tomorrow.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: Do you ever fall asleep and your partner tries to wake you up and then you're like, I'm not sleeping.
- 0:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah, oh, speaking of which, did she respond to if she's still pissed at me?
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: Let me see.
- 0:34SPEAKER_01: Great.
- 0:35SPEAKER_01: Okay, well, moving on.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: No, I have to read this.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: Uh I gotta read this.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: Not pissed.
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: Embarrassed.
- 0:45SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: Well, I apologize for embarrassing you.
- 0:48SPEAKER_01: My point still remains I was right, but I apologize for you.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: Well, then that really solidifies, and I'm gonna make sure I never go anywhere with him again.
- 0:55SPEAKER_01: No, well, that final trick of horse.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: Oh.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: Oh, also, this is just for your business transaction.
- 1:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: There is a guest gotta register.
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: Maybe you got logged out, but if you have not registered, make sure you do that.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: They said, Scott, there is an Oceans Calling Facebook page for tickets that you can be sold there.
- 1:14SPEAKER_01: Well, that would have to be Tiffany that does that.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: These are technically hers.
- 1:18SPEAKER_01: I'm just saying on the air, we happen to have three because we had to cancel the trip.
- 1:22SPEAKER_01: And you know.
- 1:24SPEAKER_01: I'm just trying to help you out.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: Speaking of which, we were just chatting about the uh not fair air podcast.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: And you were talking about the one episode of Could You Date a Look-alike?
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: An impersonator.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: That was the question that Scott posed to me on the podcast, and I couldn't.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: I said, mm-mm.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: No.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: No.
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: No.
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: Not even a Ryan Gosling look-alike or impersonator, like a person that goes out and does impressions of Ryan Gosling.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna tell you what I told our corporate guy yesterday of why I couldn't.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: What happens when you age out of that career?
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: And he's like, What do you mean?
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: Like I said, I need to know that somebody has longevity in their career eventually.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: And then what was brought up was apparently there's a guy out of Buffalo who's an Elvis impersonator, and he's 60 and also making bank.
- 2:12SPEAKER_01: Uh, that makes sense for the message I just got.
- 2:15SPEAKER_01: Oh, okay.
- 2:15SPEAKER_04: I had seen my first Elvis impersonator, and I was so confused.
- 2:20SPEAKER_04: I was like, wait, your Elvis, I thought you were dead.
- 2:24SPEAKER_04: He's like, no uh.
- 2:25SPEAKER_04: And I'm like, I was he he played along with it so well.
- 2:28SPEAKER_04: I was so confused.
- 2:30SPEAKER_04: But what is also bonkers is one of my school superintendents when I was in high school was an Elvis impersonator part-time.
- 2:38SPEAKER_04: He like always had his hair done that way, his car was decked out in Elvis decor.
- 2:43SPEAKER_04: And I was like, Yep, you don't hide that at all.
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: There is you don't there is always a character somewhere that uh that absolutely in one of your school careers, you're gonna have the guy with the real you'd think it was greasy, but he's still using some sort of 1960s sheen.
- 2:59SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 2:59SPEAKER_01: It's always the maintenance guy or something like that.
- 3:02SPEAKER_01: Anyway, the reason I say this is TMZ says a Jennifer Lopez look-alike.
- 3:08SPEAKER_01: Okay, here we are.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: Okay, okay.
- 3:10SPEAKER_01: Uh uh by the way, uh I'm not even gonna try to pronounce her name, was recently arrested in Minnesota for theft.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: Oh yes.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: Oh no.
- 3:17SPEAKER_01: Took two double packs of uh power tool batteries from a store that's worth about$580.
- 3:23SPEAKER_01: She was charged with gross misdemeanor theft, and uh, well, the booking photo circulated online because of her resemblance to Jennifer Lopez.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: That's where if you're gonna be if you're the celebrity, you're like, please, if you're gonna impersonate me for the love of God, don't don't be like selling crack cocaine and get caught outside of a school.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: Oh, right, don't give me a bad name.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: Do you think the Elvis superintendent, back to that guy?
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: Or no, the maintenance guy.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: Uh well, no, she said that it was her principal, I think, was the uh Right, but I'm thinking it's more of a maintenance guy somewhere that has that look.
- 3:57SPEAKER_00: But do you think that when he is giving a punishment or something, he's like, hey no.
- 4:01SPEAKER_02: Now listen.
- 4:02SPEAKER_02: All we're gonna do right here is I'm gonna have to suspend you.
- 4:06SPEAKER_02: Suspended minds.
- 4:09SPEAKER_02: You're going to detention.
- 4:11SPEAKER_02: Hey.
- 4:11SPEAKER_02: Oh, wait a minute.
- 4:12SPEAKER_02: Hold on a second.
- 4:13SPEAKER_02: It's not good.
- 4:14SPEAKER_02: No, it was bad.
- 4:14SPEAKER_02: It was terrible.
- 4:16SPEAKER_01: I'm caught in the back of the clash.
- 4:19SPEAKER_01: Uh so anyway, hell.
- 4:21SPEAKER_01: Okay, that was much better.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: Where did you where did you see uh someone that looked like a celebrity?
- 4:25SPEAKER_03: Basically, I was at Disney with one of my friends, and I wasn't the one who thought it was a celebrity.
- 4:32SPEAKER_03: She did.
- 4:34SPEAKER_03: And she thought she saw Reba.
- 4:36SPEAKER_03: She said, Oh my gosh, Reba, and started to run as I started to say, wait.
- 4:42SPEAKER_03: And I just kind of stood there and let her do her thing.
- 4:45SPEAKER_03: And then she came back and she's like, that was not Reba.
- 4:48SPEAKER_03: And I said, Well, if you would have waited, I would have told you that is not Reba.
- 4:52SPEAKER_03: Because she's not with a VIT tour group.
- 4:55SPEAKER_03: Also, very red in the face.
- 4:57SPEAKER_03: She's pretty pale, so it was very easy to tell that she was pretty embarrassed.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: This ties into something else we talked about on the show this week is which one of us would accidentally wave at somebody.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: Oh me.
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 5:10SPEAKER_01: Oh, I'm waving at people.
- 5:11SPEAKER_01: I don't know who they are.
- 5:12SPEAKER_01: Riva.
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: I wave at people.
- 5:14SPEAKER_01: I literally wave at people driving out of my development, always thinking it's Mrs.
- 5:18SPEAKER_01: Beam or one of my next door neighbors.
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: Nope, no clue who they are.
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: No It's an eighty year old woman, Mrs.
- 5:23SPEAKER_00: Beam.
- 5:24SPEAKER_01: What a friendly gentleman.
