- 0:00Any questions we're. Back This is the Jabba and the
- 0:04Mouth show. That's what I like.
- 0:07Anal fish wears penis. Play with my pickle.
- 0:11My pinky is bigger than yours. Jabba takes it up the ass.
- 0:15631-672-3108 is the number to call.
- 0:21You're listening to Jabba and the Valve.
- 0:26As you know, I'm Errol Marx, my Co host, Java Chapel in the
- 0:29Speedster, Speedy PD, our executive producer Aaron Fish,
- 0:32Fishman, our board OPS, Mr. Tommy Poops and the one and only
- 0:36Mikey C is in the studio as we speak right now.
- 0:39It's been a good show. We've been all over the place
- 0:42with football, baseball, no basketball.
- 0:45There's really no basketball stories except the fact that Ben
- 0:48Simmons might be going to the Celtics.
- 0:51So I guess Celtic fans are not excited about that.
- 0:54No hockey news yet, but the Islanders still in the process
- 0:59of possibly making more moves. So that's all I know right now
- 1:02with the Islanders, if Islander fans want to talk about it.
- 1:05But we do have a call to the pen.
- 1:09It's done, I think. You can throw a strike on this
- 1:11pitch. It's not going to be much on it,
- 1:12man. It feels like jello right now.
- 1:14Just get it over the plate. I want him to swing.
- 1:16Last time I did that the guy hit one that hasn't landed yet.
- 1:18For a call to the pen. All right, guys, this is a call
- 1:24to the pen. We just talked about Nick Kurtz,
- 1:28who had one of the great, great stat lines you'll ever see.
- 1:32Some would say. In fact, a few people said it's
- 1:35the greatest game anyone's had in baseball history. 6 for six,
- 1:40six runs, 4 homers, a double, a single, 8 RBIs, 19 total bases.
- 1:47Ties the record since 19 O one with Sean Green if you remember
- 1:53had four home runs back in the day.
- 1:55I believe for the Dodgers. Many are saying like I said is
- 1:58one of the greatest games anyone's ever had.
- 1:59While my best moments came either in youth soccer, high
- 2:02school football or beer league softball.
- 2:04We do have the big right-hander warmed up who can tell us about
- 2:07his greatest games of his career from youth to the pros.
- 2:10What would is it was like in the middle of it, why you were so
- 2:14good that day and how you remember those moments now as we
- 2:17grab the phone and make a call to the pen.
- 2:21I mean, I guess we can go kind of in a tier.
- 2:26Obviously I threw a a no hitter, 6 inning no hitter in in Little
- 2:29League. I don't know if you really count
- 2:32that, but it was like the first time I was like, oh, this is
- 2:34kind of cool. Then I'd go college when I
- 2:40punched out 14 to get into the College World Series against
- 2:43Miami. Ryan Braun was on that team.
- 2:46John Jay who made a Machado. Just tell them to shut them up.
- 2:52The other day when they cleared benches against the Cardinals
- 2:56and then the big leagues was probably against the Red Sox
- 3:02when I punched out eight in a row and I think I punched out 12
- 3:06or 13 in five or six innings. Yeah, eight in a row is pretty
- 3:11cool actually. I think I threw the most change
- 3:13UPS I ever threw in my career in one game.
- 3:15I remember that game. I remember that game very well.
- 3:19Actually. And so, yeah, when you just
- 3:23everything just kind of clicks, you know, and it, it, it works
- 3:27and you can you trust this game. Might have been this game.
- 3:31I I don't know, Jabba, I've I've seen a lot of highlights of you
- 3:35dominating. I've seen some great defensive
- 3:38plays as well. Now when I think of this stuff
- 3:40that I did, I sometimes I think of the defensive plays more than
- 3:44anything else. I know you had one that.
- 3:47Real essential in Cleveland, yeah.
- 3:49So what? What goes through your mind when
- 3:52you get a bloop back to you? You dive and then have the
- 3:55presence of mind to throw in a second to pick off the guy on a
- 3:58double play on a. Boat I just I like doing it
- 4:01because people are like pitchers aren't athletes and I'm like,
- 4:04yes, we are. But yeah, no, it's I mean it's
- 4:08very reactional. Most of the time you do PF PS so
- 4:12much it gets redundant where it just becomes like muscle memory.
- 4:15But you know, it's just you kind of react and see and you kind of
- 4:20know this situation. You catch it.
- 4:21I've made sure I caught it because my I face playing it.
- 4:24I I didn't break my nose or chip a tooth anything, thank
- 4:27goodness. But and then I had Jorge
- 4:30pointing and yelling at me at the same time.
- 4:34And so you can see him pointing right there.
- 4:36So I knew I knew he was there, but I couldn't tell how far he
- 4:38was off so. Jorge is pointing the first.
- 4:43He's pointing the second. Let's rewind it.
- 4:45Let's rewind it because I thought he's pointed the first
- 4:47on this one. Let's see, that was, I mean,
- 4:49look, it's in the one of the best plays, you know, and it
- 4:51gets shown a little bit. I feel like it gets shown a
- 4:53little bit more, but watch Jorge right here.
- 4:56Oh, you know what? You're right.
- 4:57He's pointed the second. He's like like running.
- 5:00Towards it, yeah. So yeah, it was, I pitched well
- 5:04that game too. I think I went into the 7th
- 5:06inning and it was 2 to one or something like that.
- 5:08But yeah, it's it's just one of those feelings where it's like
- 5:13when you hit a home run, you don't feel it.
- 5:15And it's like when you let it go, it's just like, you know,
- 5:18you can let it go and be like you're not hitting that.
- 5:20It's kind of. One of those days where it goes.
- 5:22But yeah, that defensively that was probably, that was probably
- 5:26my best one. You say that you don't feel it.
- 5:29Golfers always say that if they have their best drive, they
- 5:32don't feel it when it gets to the club head.
- 5:35I threw shot put and coach shot put.
- 5:37I always used to tell kids if the best throw you have is when
- 5:40you don't really feel like you threw it that hard.
- 5:42It just came off at the perfect angle.
- 5:44I got to hear from from Mr. Mark Stahl about his Sports Group
- 5:47because we know Errol was a great hockey player in his youth
- 5:50days. I want to hear the best either
- 5:53stat line or game that you ever played, Errol.
- 5:56The best game I ever had when it came to hockey.
- 5:59I scored eleven goals in the game and 1111 goals in the game.
- 6:04I'll never forget it. I was 14 years old.
- 6:06Youth hockey and we were, I think it was the semi finals of
- 6:12the, of the championship game and I went off.
- 6:16I scored four goals in the first period, like four goals in this,
- 6:21four goals in the second period. And if I'm not mistaken, I think
- 6:24three goals in in the third period.
- 6:27I had like I, I think if you look at it, I have 4 hat tricks,
- 6:31almost 4 hat tricks in the game. It was crazy.
- 6:34It was one of those games that I just went off and I was
- 6:38unbelievable and, and four of them were power play goals.
- 6:40So I that was the game that really stuck out to me.
- 6:43I'll never forget the game and I remember after the game I almost
- 6:48got into a fistfight with the goalie outside of the rink
- 6:52because when I walked out, I mean, I, I kind of, I walked out
- 6:56with an ego, I'm not going to lie.
- 6:58I mean, when you score 11 goals in a game, what are you going to
- 7:00do? You're going to stand there.
- 7:01You're going to, you know, strike yourself.
- 7:04I walked right out. The other father said something
- 7:06to my father. My father doesn't.
- 7:08But when my father went to the game, my father didn't even
- 7:10understand what was going on. He just said, oh, he's one of
- 7:13the guy what the parents would like.
- 7:15Oh, your son's, your son had like a hat trick.
- 7:17My father didn't even know what a hat trick was.
- 7:19OK So I had like 3 hat tricks in the game and then I'm walking
- 7:24out and the other fathers talking crap to my father.
- 7:26My father didn't even know what was going on and I'm talking
- 7:29crap to the goaltender outside of the rink.
- 7:32So it was that game really stuck out to me and I'll never forget
- 7:36when I walked out and the coach said that might have been one of
- 7:39the best games I've ever seen any any hockey player ever had
- 7:42and I'll never forget it because I went off.
- 7:45I scored two goals in the 1st 2 minutes of the game.
- 7:48So I'll never forget that game. So probably my best game I ever
- 7:51had. One of the worst games I ever
- 7:54had and I'll never forget this. I actually scored on my own
- 7:57goalie. I'll never forget this.
- 8:00I'll never forget this. We were.
- 8:01Off the skate or just a bad pass?
- 8:04No, I, I tried so you know, you're, you're standing in your
- 8:08zone, right, And you try to, you try to shoot the puck behind
- 8:12your Nets so it bangs off the board, so you get it out on a
- 8:15penalty kill. Well, I shot it at my net.
- 8:17My goalie wasn't even, I shot it and went right into the net.
- 8:20So I'll never forget it and I'll never The funny thing, I was a
- 8:24knit. I was a -, 2 in the game.
- 8:27I was -2 in a game -2 is good, by the way, in hockey, but I'm
- 8:31-2 in a game. But I'll never forget I scored a
- 8:33goal in my own net. So.
- 8:36Java. Last thing before we get out of
- 8:38this, I have. I've always had this theory
- 8:42about when athletes are competing again.
- 8:45I've coached track a lot. I tried to tell them to have a
- 8:47clear head and not to really be thinking about anything.
- 8:50I got to know when you're going on these hot streaks, are you
- 8:54thinking about anything? Are you just in the zone?
- 8:57Can you describe what that's like, what how you were in those
- 9:01moments? Actually, no, you're really not.
- 9:03Honestly, it's you're kind of just.
- 9:06Letting it happen and I was fortunate enough to have some
- 9:08really, really great catchers where I knew as soon as I got
- 9:12the ball back I knew what they were going to call.
- 9:14So it kind of worked hand in hand and when you're kind of
- 9:17just in that zone, it's just kind of you know, the, the, the
- 9:21ball drops your way, you get the calls like you know it, it's
- 9:24just everything kind of slows down and it just it comes at you
- 9:30different some sometimes it speeds up and it gets ahead of
- 9:33you. But when you're in in kind of
- 9:36that that realm, it's like everything just slows down and,
- 9:40you know, it's just slow motion as everything goes and you know,
- 9:44your defense is there saving you and everybody's, you know,
- 9:47embedded in the game. And so I think it's just it
- 9:50slows down and it just comes to you very, very methodical.
- 9:55And it's like, OK, boom, here you go, boom, here you go.
- 9:57OK, execute this. I want to go a ball and a half
- 10:00off in boom, then I'm going to go away.
- 10:02Like you already know what you're going to do.
- 10:04And it's like executed, executed, executed.
- 10:06OK, now I'm in the dugout. So yeah, it's just kind of slows
- 10:09things down and the game plan, and I wish it always worked like
- 10:12that, but but it does it. But yeah, when you get into
- 10:17those in those modes, it's it's kind of everything's going your
- 10:19way. Do in the pink and one in the
- 10:21stink. Well, there it is boys.
- 10:24We just heard about the best games.
- 10:27What are you eating over there, Jabba?
- 10:28You haven't know the one of those Tootsie rolls theory is
- 10:31with his Tootsie rolls his. Flavored.
- 10:34His flavored Tootsie Rolls. Ram Jam titties.
- 10:39All right, ladies and gentlemen, we have two more segments to go.
- 10:42Our next segment, dial it up. We interrupt this regularly.
- 10:46Scheduled hot mix to bring an important news book.
- 10:48We got a big broadcast to do here.
- 10:51We're about to dial it up. Play with my pickle.
- 10:57All right, everybody, welcome back everyone's favorite
- 11:01segment. Dial it up.
- 11:05This is the one where we have a lightning round of stories for
- 11:08Errol. He has not seen that.
- 11:10He doesn't know what we're going to be talking about.
- 11:12He's got to dial up and take after he hears it and one of us
- 11:16will respond to it. Let's start off with our
- 11:18favorite flat earther. Kyrie didn't want Steve Nash as
- 11:23a coach in Brooklyn. Kyrie Irving made promise news
- 11:27on his Twitch stream where he slammed the Brooklyn Nets
- 11:29decision to make Steve Nash head coach.
- 11:32During his time there, I already had my own thoughts on how the
- 11:35coaching situation was going to go.
- 11:37I felt like there were other candidates out there that could
- 11:39have definitely been our head coach that had championship
- 11:42experience, Irving said on Twitch.
- 11:44I think Steve had championship experience in his own way in his
- 11:48role that he played at Golden State, but as far as being head
- 11:52coach, I had my own thoughts. Irving has also made past
- 11:55comments saying that the Nets only signed him to alert Kevin
- 11:58Durant to Brooklyn. The Nets big three of Durant,
- 12:01Kyrie and James Harden produced only one playoff series win.
- 12:07Errol. Well, it's pretty simple.
- 12:11Kyrie Irving's earth is flat and his brain is flat.
- 12:14Like I said many, many times, Steve Nash might have not had
- 12:17any coaching background. This guy was a two time MVP, was
- 12:21a sensational point guard and go look at the point guards that
- 12:24have had success as a head coach.
- 12:27Look at what Jason Kidd did with The Mavericks.
- 12:29He brought them all the way to the finals.
- 12:31I and by the way, who was his starting point guard?
- 12:34It was Kyrie Irving. I just absolutely despicable.
- 12:38And by the way, who did LeBron James or the LJA?
- 12:42As we all know, he runs the league.
- 12:44Who did he bring as his Co host of his his show, his podcast,
- 12:48Steve Nash. Why do you think he brought
- 12:50Steve Nash in? Because he's one of the smartest
- 12:53players in NBA history. This guy was so talented, so
- 12:57very good. Best Canadian player to ever
- 12:59come out of Canada. If you look at what Canada has
- 13:02brought in to the NBA ever since Steve Nash, sensational, as we
- 13:06all know, the MVP of the league this year was Canadian.
- 13:11So Steve Nash has brought basketball from a country that
- 13:15never had a lack of talent to the NBAII think he to me would
- 13:20have been a great coach for the the Nets if the Nets decided to
- 13:23go that route. And who do they bring in after
- 13:25Steve Nash? Who do they bring in?
- 13:28That's right, no one. And they never won anything.
- 13:31So it tells me that Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant and James
- 13:35Harden are a bunch of fools, and that's why that organization
- 13:38will never win a championship as far as I'm concerned.
- 13:41I also just want to point out the fact that how Jake even
- 13:44mentioned in the chat as well too, but you also had him very
- 13:48praising the Steve Nash move at the time, which wasn't expected
- 13:51and very much now switching up his mind only for the fact that
- 13:55only for the fact that I'm not sure what exactly but he thought
- 13:57that Kenny Atkinson or he thought that Steve Nash was a
- 13:59better move than Kenny Atkinson. Not sure exactly what was behind
- 14:03that mind. Like you said, maybe his flat,
- 14:04maybe his brain is flat just like the way he thinks.
- 14:06That the world is. And I like and I like Kenny
- 14:08Atkinson. Look at it, look at the look at
- 14:10this season he just had with the with the Cavaliers.
- 14:11You know, they they didn't amount to much against the
- 14:13Pacers, but a lot of teams ended up falling, falling to the
- 14:16paces. Except the OK C Thunder, but
- 14:18still. 1 They didn't keep Kenny Atkinson because of Kyrie
- 14:23Irving. Then they didn't bring in Steve
- 14:25Nash because of Kyrie Irving. Who did they bring in?
- 14:28Oh, I I, I can't even remember. That's why I Jacques Vaughn How
- 14:34how good was Jacques Vaughn? Why don't you ask you Orlando
- 14:37Magic how good Jacques Vaughn was?
- 14:39Absolutely despicable. And that just shows you how
- 14:42stupid Kyrie I. Also want to mention what Jake
- 14:44just said too, but he was also saying about how his coaching
- 14:46style was that they could do now whatever they wanted to
- 14:49basically. And there was even 1 point that
- 14:51they had James Harden and Kyrie Irving switching from point
- 14:53guard and shooting guard. With those two.
- 14:54I don't know what was going on. It was a field day going on.
- 14:56And then you even had of course, Kevin Durant taking shots when
- 14:59it was people like random people like Joe Harris and Nicks Clack,
- 15:02Nicks, Claxton lining up with Kevin Durant.
- 15:05I mean, nobody would think that that lineup was going to be
- 15:07successful at all so. Who cares?
- 15:10And honestly the coach means nothing when it comes to the NBA
- 15:13if you have two superstars. But if you have 3 superstars and
- 15:16a guy that actually was successful in the NBA on a good
- 15:21basketball team, the Phoenix Suns when he played with talent,
- 15:24Amari Stoudemire, he played with a tremendous amount of talent
- 15:27over there and they went far into the playoffs but couldn't
- 15:30get over the hump. I think Steve Nash would have
- 15:32added a lot to that Nets team, maybe wins the title with that
- 15:36Nets team if they just gave him a chance.
- 15:37It's just because Kyrie Irving doesn't want to be told what to
- 15:40do from a guy that was more successful than he was.
- 15:44You know, on top of that, I think they played completely
- 15:46different styles of basketball. Like Nash wasn't the guy who was
- 15:49going to stand around and dice somebody up and do some ice.
- 15:51So he was just constant movement and just trying to find open
- 15:54guys. I think they're they're playing
- 15:56styles. And what they wanted to do, just
- 15:58it was just never going to work. It's just crazy that he went out
- 16:01here. This is because Durant basically
- 16:04said some other stuff went on Nashes podcast and now Irvings
- 16:07got to take the center stage. I can't believe that team ever
- 16:11worked the way these guys are such prima donnas.
- 16:13Let's move on to the next story. It's a good one, Errol.
- 16:18It's car racing. Oh God.
- 16:20Bubba Wallace becomes the first black driver ever to win in
- 16:24Indy. He won the Brickyard 400 on
- 16:27Sunday, becoming the first black driver to win at Indianapolis
- 16:31Motor Speedway. He was able to make his fuel
- 16:33last against last year's winner Kyle Larson after a late crash
- 16:37restart almost caused him to run out of gas.
- 16:40They gambled and won. He was greeted by his wife and
- 16:4310 year month year old son on the winning track.
- 16:45His number 23 team is COO, owned by Denny Hamlin and, you guessed
- 16:50it, Michael Jordan. Errol, dial it up.
- 16:54Honestly I don't watch any car racing.
- 16:58I I watch certain I I watch Daytona 500 over the years.
- 17:02I'm a Dale Earnhardt fan over so in the 90s and the 80s as a kid
- 17:07I watched a lot of the big races.
- 17:09If I'm not mistaken, isn't this the same guy that something
- 17:13happened in his garage or something and he was trying to
- 17:16hide something? I I I don't know the story fully
- 17:19but. Are you are you talking about
- 17:21the in the stands when it looked like a noose?
- 17:23The rope that was. Yes, yes.
- 17:25Was that him? Was that?
- 17:26Him. Yeah, that was him.
- 17:27In 2019. There was a He was not a victim
- 17:31of a hate crime according to the FBI and noose was pulled down in
- 17:35a loop, but it was hat apparently it had been in the
- 17:38garage that's. The only thing I know about this
- 17:42guy, I mean, the fact that you want to raise, good for him,
- 17:45congratulations to him. His wife and his kids are there.
- 17:48Of course they're going to be there.
- 17:49They're going to celebrate with him.
- 17:51I, I mean, you're bringing in car racing.
- 17:53I, I don't watch enough of it anymore.
- 17:55The only thing I know about him is that story.
- 17:58That's about it. So congratulations to him.
- 18:02Yeah, I mean, I watched a little bit.
- 18:03Denny. Denny's a good friend, so I try
- 18:07to watch his group. Obviously Jordan fan, but yeah,
- 18:11Bubba really hasn't done much. He signed with Jordan Brand too,
- 18:16because he was the only black driver, if if we're being
- 18:18honest, Danny, Danny was on Team Jordan before and then when they
- 18:23when they created their own team and they brought him over.
- 18:26So he really hasn't done much. I mean, he I think he has more
- 18:31win in the Craftsman Truck Series than he does in NASCAR.
- 18:36I think he's got a few wins in Xfinity, which is like minor
- 18:39league of of NASCAR. So he's he races for a cool team
- 18:44and probably gets cool gear, but he he's not that great of a
- 18:47racer. I, I mean, I don't watch it
- 18:49anymore. There's, there's no superstar
- 18:52anymore. I mean I watched Stuart dominate
- 18:54a little while ago where he he won like 4 championships, like 4
- 18:58titles. Jenny Johnson won 7.
- 19:00Yeah. So those guys, I mean Johnson
- 19:03was another one. I, I mean, that was the time
- 19:06where, but now you have these other riders, they're beating
- 19:09the hell out of each other during races.
- 19:11They're running after each other.
- 19:13I mean, that's the only thing that really stands out to me
- 19:15with NASCAR racing. It, it becomes a hockey fight in
- 19:17the, in the pits. That's about it.
- 19:20That's it. I I.
- 19:21I don't, Joey. Logano, Kyle.
- 19:24Kyle Bush is very. I like Logano.
- 19:26Bush. Everybody hates Bush.
- 19:28Everything that I've heard from all the different race car
- 19:30drivers. But Kyle's like the bad guy.
- 19:32He's like the heel of NASCAR. I mean, you got to have him.
- 19:36Yeah, so he he loves starting the fights and and by the way,
- 19:40the way he reacts to the media stuff, it's pretty funny.
- 19:43But I don't watch car racing as much as I did when I got a
- 19:46chance to watch Earnhardt did and, and, and what he did as a
- 19:49dominated race car driver. I mean, those were the best
- 19:52what? Watching him just dominate, but
- 19:55that's it. All right, let's move on to the
- 19:58next story. We're going back to football
- 20:00now. This one is.
- 20:03You know, picture speaks 1000 words.
- 20:05Bucks rookie on the non football injury list for being almost
- 20:09£450. The Bucks put undrafted free
- 20:13agent rookie Desmond Watson on the non football injury list
- 20:17last Thursday. Watson, who plays D tackle,
- 20:20played at Florida and now weighs a reported 449 lbs, down £15
- 20:27from his playing weight in college.
- 20:29It's just about trying to get him better, to be a healthier
- 20:31player and getting him on the field a little more or,
- 20:34Buccaneers coach Todd Bowles said, via Fox 13.
- 20:36That's kind of where I'm at right now.
- 20:38He's working at it and we're working with him and that's all
- 20:42you can ask right now. Watson at 6 foot 5 and over £400
- 20:46is viewed as a possible answer to the tush push.
- 20:51Yes, he repped 200 and 2536 times and the 40 in under 6
- 20:55seconds at 460 lbs at Florida's pro day.
- 21:00If he made the roster, he would be the heaviest player in the
- 21:05history of the NFL. Errol.
- 21:09Dial it off. First of all, he's £450 and he,
- 21:13he benched 36 * 225 lbs. That's not impressive.
- 21:18First of all, he, he's, that's double his body weight.
- 21:21OK, so he is putting up less than his body weight 336 times.
- 21:27So that's, there's nothing impressive about that.
- 21:30OK, so here's the thing. And I'm, I'm, I'm going to go
- 21:33back and forth with this. Makai becked him and remember
- 21:35him when he came to The Jets, he was overweight.
- 21:38He really never developed as an offensive tackle ever because of
- 21:42his weight. He had knee problems, problems,
- 21:44he had leg problems, could never get over the hump.
- 21:46He goes to the Eagles, lost a ton of weight and he became one
- 21:49of the best guards in the league because The Jets, all that Jets
- 21:52had to do is shift him. This kid, I don't know much
- 21:55about him. The fact that he's £450 and
- 21:57they're working with him, The fact is you draft this guy and I
- 22:01don't care if he's doing a tush push or whatever, they're
- 22:04planning to use him for £450. The guy's going to be huffing
- 22:08and he's puffing. He's getting a heart attack on a
- 22:10football field, £450. I don't care how tall he is.
- 22:15That is. That's like a sumo wrestler.
- 22:18It's never going to work in the NFL.
- 22:20And Todd Bowles, he needs to lose 100 lbs to even to even
- 22:24even played professional football a significant amount of
- 22:28weight. McKay Becton when he came to The
- 22:30Jets was 350 pounds £350. I don't know what that sound is.
- 22:35I, I don't get this output 350 lbs when he came to The Jets, he
- 22:40had to drop 30 lbs to to to move forward with The Jets and
- 22:45actually have successful rookie season.
- 22:47This guy's got to lose 100 lbs to even be considered a a decent
- 22:52player on on on the Buccaneers. I I That's ridiculous £450.
- 22:58Ironically, that sound is that I'm out of insulin in a segment
- 23:01about someone being £450, but I didn't know what that was.
- 23:05I got it. But look, Vida Veya we think of
- 23:09as like one of the biggest guys in the league.
- 23:12You know, he's only £346. This guy's 100 lbs heavier, more
- 23:17than 100 lbs heavier than it's. Never going to work.
- 23:20It look he's going to have a hard a sub package where he
- 23:24plays six snaps to 8 snaps a game every time they play the
- 23:28they'll. Have a massive heart attack
- 23:30before that even happens. Well, you know, it's obviously
- 23:33not good enough. You can't be that heavy and be
- 23:35able to do anything at this level of athleticism in the NFL.
- 23:38If he can get down to four, 10410 is the heaviest anyone's
- 23:41ever been that's played in the league.
- 23:43It was a guy named Aaron Gibson who was drafted by the I
- 23:45remember him in 1999. He was 410 lbs So this would be
- 23:50significantly more than that. I do think he'll get down, but
- 23:54will he make a roster? I would doubt it this year, but
- 23:57it is an interesting idea. Just put a sumo wrestler arrow
- 24:01right over the center and dare you to tush Push now.
- 24:03So every single NFL team should just go over there to Hawaii or
- 24:07whatever the hell it is. China, Japan, No.
- 24:10But Hawaii? Don't laugh.
- 24:11They they might. There's Hawaiians.
- 24:12That's why there's a lot of Hawaiians right now in the NFL
- 24:15is because they're sumo wrestlers too.
- 24:17They're big men and and. They're play the Somewhere Over
- 24:20the Rainbow song while they're stopping the tush.
- 24:22They might as well just build around Hawaiian players or
- 24:25Japanese players and that'll work.
- 24:28And you could build a whole offensive line, a wall of fat
- 24:30guys, I mean, with some kind of athletic ability.
- 24:33Yokozuna is one of them. May rest in peace, but I
- 24:37remember him. In the wrestling.
- 24:38Yokozuna. Yeah.
- 24:39He was Polynesian, by the way. Or whatever.
- 24:42Whatever he was, he was heavy. Was he related to the rock like
- 24:46everybody else? Yeah, they were every time, they
- 24:48said. They're yeah, they're like, like
- 24:50removed, but yeah. He's a part of the.
- 24:52Every every time they said his name, he was like 75 lbs
- 24:54heavier, like every single wrestling match.
- 24:57It was fantastic. And the Undertaker got taller
- 24:59too. All right, so we got a couple of
- 25:02stories left here. Let's finish it up.
- 25:04This one's great. Those are that's Greg Olson,
- 25:08Luke Cooley and Jonathan Stewart, middle school football
- 25:12coaching crew. Yes, former Panthers legends
- 25:15Luke Hookeley, Jonathan Stewart and Fox color commentator Greg
- 25:18Olson are coaching middle school football in North Carolina.
- 25:22Olson went on the bus and with the Boys podcast talking about
- 25:25the perils about being middle school coaches.
- 25:27Funny story included them showing up 30 minutes late to a
- 25:30game trying to coach players up on the bus while the bus driver
- 25:34had no idea where they're going and just drove back to the
- 25:37school in a big circle and they almost missed the game.
- 25:40They got a lot of crap from parents, obviously for the doing
- 25:44that. It's something that I have a lot
- 25:47of experience with that they don't, but I'll tell you, I
- 25:52don't know how. You can be.
- 25:55Free. To have this kind of a coaching
- 25:57staff for your kids in a middle school football program.
- 26:01Unbelievable, Errol. Dial it up.
- 26:05We know Jonathan Stewart. He follows us on social media,
- 26:08so we know his personality. We know he likes playing the
- 26:11piano. We know he likes playing golf
- 26:13and and, and Greg Olson, he does a great job for Fox.
- 26:16I think he's one of the best analysts and play by play guys
- 26:19that they have right now. Color commentator and then Luke
- 26:22Kuechly. Are you going to argue this
- 26:24guy's a Hall of Famer? You can't.
- 26:25This guy's one of the best linebackers we've seen in the
- 26:28NFL in the last 25 years. If you look at the line back in
- 26:30court, they had when they went to the Super Bowl, absolute
- 26:33dominance. Their defense was probably one
- 26:36of the best defenses we've seen in the last 25 years.
- 26:39They were really, really good. They just had Cam Newton as a
- 26:41quarterback, no offense. Cam Karen couldn't get over the
- 26:44hump, especially when they had to play the Broncos and Peyton
- 26:46Manning in that defense. Von Miller.
- 26:48The fact is when you look at this coaching staff, you and you
- 26:52understand, they know the game. They know youth football.
- 26:55They played in youth football. And the fact that they went late
- 26:58to a game and they were coaching them up on and the parents were
- 27:02complaining about it says something about their no matter
- 27:08how talented they are and what they've done in their past, you
- 27:11got to follow the rules. I don't care how great of a
- 27:14player you are and who you are as a as an athlete, you got to
- 27:18follow the rules. Just because you are ex NFL
- 27:20players and ex superstars, you shouldn't be taking it into your
- 27:23own hands and showing up to games late.
- 27:25Show why you're why you why you made it to the NFL, why you
- 27:30successful in the NFL and just show up to the the practices in
- 27:33the games on time. But the fact is when you look at
- 27:36this coaching staff, pretty impressive.
- 27:38Luke Kuechly, Greg Olson, and then Jonathan Stewart.
- 27:43Jonathan Stewart was one of the best running backs in the league
- 27:45when he was at the top of his game.
- 27:47Luke Kuechly, we like I said, and Greg Olson, arguably one of
- 27:51the best tight ends in the game for 10 years.
- 27:54So that's an All Star packed coaching staff.
- 27:57Did they win the championship? Are they going to win the
- 28:00championship if they don't? Who the hell cares?
- 28:03Who the hell cares who's coaching that deal?
- 28:05Yeah, it's definitely some of the most intelligent football
- 28:08minds. Like you said, Greg Olson's a
- 28:09really good commentator. I think the best, definitely my
- 28:11definitely my favorite. Him and Romo.
- 28:13Him and Romo. But I think like that from that.
- 28:15Standpoint He lost his job because of Tom Brady.
- 28:17I know that. And again, it's it sucks
- 28:19everything that's gone on with the with the broadcaster the way
- 28:21it's gone. But Greg Olson is a phenomenal
- 28:23broadcaster and definitely with a great football mind in
- 28:25Carolina and in Chicago too. And he almost got the Carolina
- 28:28job too, I heard. Yeah, like we said, Yeah.
- 28:30No, you're right. I remember that too.
- 28:31He was one of the. Finalists.
- 28:33Three or four last finalists, yeah, and.
- 28:36Luke, he's going to get a coaching job.
- 28:37He will. Luke Eakley, probably after
- 28:39Patrick Willis retired, served as the best middle linebacker in
- 28:42football for about 7 years and before he had to retire earlier
- 28:44too. And again, it's a shame what's
- 28:46happening with those guys. Were hiring concussions?
- 28:48I think Greg Olson would be a great GM, just like John Lynch
- 28:52and what John Lynch did with the 49ers.
- 28:54He knows the game so very well. He's so likable of as a person,
- 28:59as a player. Look what he went through with
- 29:01his children. Remember he had the twins and
- 29:03what he went through and he's just, he's just a good kind.
- 29:07So I never met the guy, but everything, everybody that we've
- 29:10spoken to Speedy over the years to tell us and we we've
- 29:13interviewed guys that played with him, says he's one of the
- 29:16kindest people, people you'll ever meet.
- 29:19And he knows the game of football so very well.
- 29:21I think he would be better as AGM than as a head coach, but
- 29:24he's going to get a head coaching job one way or another.
- 29:26How do you brought that up? Because I actually really like
- 29:28John Lynch as a broadcaster at the time before he got the 48
- 29:31Niners. Job he's done, a good job he
- 29:33just can't get. Over the I know that and yeah,
- 29:34they've done a great job drafting day three draft picks.
- 29:37I could definitely see Greg Olsen being in that role.
- 29:38Now going back to Keekly, I was saying the best middle
- 29:40linebacker in football for about 7 years just got inducted in the
- 29:42Hall of Fame. And then Jonathan Stewart, you
- 29:44guys interviewed with the Super Bowl.
- 29:45Definitely sounds like a really good football ball mind.
- 29:48Great analyst for even hockey. Do you remember where Luke, Luke
- 29:51Heekley played? Boston College.
- 29:53Boston College. I remember everybody was talking
- 29:56about this guy and how great he was playing for Boston College.
- 29:59Boston College. Just think about it, that
- 30:01university, which is all hockey, and this guy came out of
- 30:05nowhere, had two great seasons playing college ball and then he
- 30:10was drafted by Carolina in the first round and look what he
- 30:12turned out to be, man a beast and retired early.
- 30:15Remember him and Thomas Beastly Thomas Davis, Beastly Thomas
- 30:20Davis. They they were fantastic as
- 30:22linebackers. Errol, I got to tell you, I I
- 30:26don't blame Olson and Cookley for missing the game.
- 30:30Cookley because I Cookley, Luke. Luke Cookley.
- 30:33Keakley. Keakley.
- 30:36I am a legend. Listen, I have an entire phone
- 30:41still with phone numbers that say bus driver, Vlad, bus driver
- 30:46Rosa, bus driver. I know they're not going to
- 30:49speak English when I call them. And I guarantee you they have
- 30:53never had the experience of trying to organize kids.
- 30:57And in middle school, they're all screaming on the bus.
- 31:00They're all singing, they're all eating, they're making a mess.
- 31:04It's just a mayhem. And then when you're trying to
- 31:06coach them up, you forget that your bus driver doesn't know
- 31:09what the heck it doing. And I think that's probably what
- 31:12happened. I thought that story was
- 31:13hilarious. We got one last one, and this
- 31:17one involves an MVP. The runner up to the MVP arrow.
- 31:23Yes, Nicola Yokich is a champion again with his horses.
- 31:27And it brought him to tears. Oh yes, went viral.
- 31:31Yes, the great Nicole Jokic may have already be in the Hall of
- 31:35Fame with an NBA championship. 3 MVPS should have been four this
- 31:39year. Now add the horse racing
- 31:41champion to his titles. He famously, if you remember,
- 31:45after they won the title, the job is done.
- 31:47We can go home now. That's all he was.
- 31:50That's the only emotion he showed after winning the 2023
- 31:53NBA Finals. But after winning his horse race
- 31:57in Sibotica, Serbia, he showed plenty more emotion.
- 32:03Cameras found Yokich in tears on the side before he jumped the
- 32:07gate and celebrated with his horse and jockey.
- 32:11Djokic love of horses may exceed his love of basketball and fit,
- 32:15and he famously accepted the 2022 MVP on Inside the NBA,
- 32:18returning on horseback in Serbia.
- 32:22Errol. Dial it up.
- 32:25Well first of all I love Nicola Yokich and he's crying that he
- 32:29won a horse race. He looks bigger than the horse
- 32:31and the jockeys probably up to his crotch.
- 32:33So maybe he has a love fest for him and did he buy the horse?
- 32:37Did the mafia help him buy the horse?
- 32:39Because I know him and his brothers are probably.
- 32:42I've heard stories about the back background of his family.
- 32:45But hey, hold on, don't bring the Yokich.
- 32:47Don't bring, don't bring that family up in I'm.
- 32:49Just I'm just telling you what I heard.
- 32:52The fact, the fact is Yokola Yokich is is one of the best
- 32:57players in the league, if not the best player in the NBA.
- 32:59I thought he should have won the MVP this year.
- 33:01He had a sensation of the year, triple double big man doing
- 33:04that. I'm on it.
- 33:05It's almost impossible. I don't think we've ever seen a
- 33:07player of this magnitude before at his size and his ability.
- 33:11But the fact that he when he won the NBA title, really didn't
- 33:15even show any passion or love and he just wanted to go home
- 33:18after the game and then shows tears after winning horse race.
- 33:22We we could see what he cares about more.
- 33:25I believe horse racing means more to him than the NBA and NBA
- 33:29basketball. It's incredible.
- 33:31It's really, if you think about the Yokich story, how incredible
- 33:34that story is. Second round draft pick almost
- 33:37didn't get drafted and and and just the way he transitioned the
- 33:41game and transitioned the game game as a big man and and he
- 33:44still has a lot of foot basketball left.
- 33:46What is he, 3031? He can play.
- 33:48He could play another six or seven years and really not only
- 33:52break records as a big man, break records as you could
- 33:55consider him maybe a top three player when he's done with the
- 33:58NBA, especially if he wins another title.
- 34:01I mean, I could care less about the horse racing.
- 34:04I mean, it's it's great that he won a championship over there in
- 34:08Bangladesh or wherever the hell he's from.
- 34:10Bangladesh. Wherever he's from, I don't
- 34:13care. Where it's not even.
- 34:15The right continent. Russia, Serbia.
- 34:18Serbia. Who cares?
- 34:20I don't care. How about winning a horse race
- 34:23here in America? How about that when he wins a
- 34:26horse race and wins a Triple Crown, then he could cry me the
- 34:29river. It's all a carriage race, OK?
- 34:32He loves the carriage race where he's like, it looks almost like
- 34:36you're no. I would have probably.
- 34:38Roman times in the chariot. I would have cried that I didn't
- 34:41win the MVP when I should have. That's what I would have cried
- 34:44about. He.
- 34:44Doesn't care, that's the whole point, right?
- 34:47Like, this guy's just a strange dude, and he's an amazing,
- 34:51amazing, once in a lifetime basketball talent, highest
- 34:54basketball IQ for a big man, arguably of all time.
- 34:57Look, the athleticism wasn't the biggest part of his game.
- 35:00So as he gets older, he should age well, you would think,
- 35:03right? So this is an exciting, you
- 35:06know, exciting player, but he's more excited by his horse and
- 35:09carriages. Like it's 1878.
- 35:12And you know, he cares because you obviously see the way he
- 35:14plays the game and how how he coaches and two, but when he got
- 35:18voted in the All Star game, he's like, thanks for voting me and I
- 35:20don't get to spend time at home. Like he was pissed that he was
- 35:22actually voted into the All Star game.
- 35:25It's just wild. Like, I don't know if we've ever
- 35:27had a superstar that really this is not his major love.
- 35:32And like, it doesn't matter because it's clear that he cares
- 35:35a ton about basketball, but he loves this.
- 35:39Really, he cares so much about basketball.
- 35:41When his coach got fired, he made it seem like it was
- 35:45nothing. And then after they got out of
- 35:48the first round, he was saluting the coach that they they hired
- 35:53after their their championship coach Mike Malone got fired and
- 35:57says, oh, this was this was a good move.
- 35:59And then gets knocked out in the next round by the OK C Thunder
- 36:03and gets embarrassed. I mean.
- 36:04I'm sure Malone just said something, you know, like your
- 36:07horses suck, bro. And that was it.
- 36:08They were dead. He was dead him.
- 36:10He sent his brothers after him, and they had to, and they just
- 36:13had to have. Was it OK?
- 36:14See the one that eliminated them in the next round?
- 36:17I think it was seven games. Yeah, to me, I like Nicola
- 36:21Yokich. I think he's a great talent.
- 36:23I think the NBA needs a guy like that to take the game to the
- 36:27next level. When LeBron James walks away,
- 36:29hopefully soon, because I don't want to see his ugly face
- 36:32anymore on television. And he's going to be podcasting
- 36:35and doing all that garbage with Steve Nash now.
- 36:38And JJ Redick is still going to be that idiot that that that
- 36:41organization's head coach. The fact is, if you look at the
- 36:45big picture right now, Nicola Yokich is never going to stay in
- 36:49Denver. I'm telling you right now,
- 36:51there's no way he stays. They, they pushed away Carmelo
- 36:54Anthony. Eventually Nicole Yokes is just
- 36:56going to get sick and tired of that organization.
- 36:58He's going to want to go somewhere else.
- 37:00I and Yannis I Yannis is not going to be traded until the
- 37:03trade deadline. I'm going to tell you this right
- 37:06now. Book it.
- 37:07I, I wonder if you could put a bet on, bet on it for the trade
- 37:11deadline that Giannis will be traded at the trade deadline,
- 37:13because I will put, if it's 1500 to 1 or whatever, 1600 to one, I
- 37:19would put the bet on it because I don't think Giannis stays over
- 37:22there in Milwaukee. He's never going to win there.
- 37:24They have nothing there and nothing to provide him in any
- 37:28kind of thought of where that organization is heading.
- 37:30I, I just, I think they're done and I think Giannis needs to go
- 37:33somewhere else if he plans to win.
- 37:35So. Yeah, the real question fish
- 37:37which which US state has the most horses for him to sign to
- 37:39later? I don't know, but to me, like I
- 37:43always hated going to seahorses because horses smell really
- 37:46badly. No, they don't.
- 37:48They really. Don't they smell horrible dude?
- 37:50Only OK if you go, I'm going to I.
- 37:53Grew up in Brooklyn. I'm sorry, I can't do.
- 37:55That all right, Well, I went to the Belmont Stakes and I watched
- 37:58the Triple Crown winner and I was down there with the horses.
- 38:01If you're if you're in a barn that's clean, it does not smell.
- 38:05Actually smells like rope noses. OK, it actually smells.
- 38:07Out of your. Mind, no, I'm not.
- 38:10No, I'm not. No, I'm not.
- 38:11No, I'm not. If you go to a good stable, if
- 38:14you go to a very wealthy stable, they really take care of their
- 38:18stable. It actually does not smell like
- 38:21crap. I don't know where you have
- 38:23been, but I. Giving the horses Brazilian
- 38:26waxes or something. I'm talking about it.
- 38:29I'm telling you, I went to the Belmont and I was there down
- 38:32with the horses. They did not smell bad.
- 38:34Now, if you're over there where they crap, yeah, it smells like
- 38:37shit, Yeah, it smells terrible. But if if you're around with
- 38:41stables where they're keeping the horses, it does not smell.
- 38:44Jabba, you've been over there by the horses, right?
- 38:46You've been around horses and nice stables, right?
- 38:48I've had both, I wouldn't say roses, but I've had I've had
- 38:52ones that smell awful and then ones that it's it's not it's not
- 38:57terrible. It's like hay and hot like
- 38:59humid, like smell but roses. I haven't come encounter with
- 39:04that. Well, I went to a stable upstate
- 39:07New York where there's a lot of race racing going on and stuff
- 39:11like that, and they raised horses upstate New York.
- 39:13Saratoga. I don't think it was Saratoga.
- 39:15It was, I don't remember where it was, but I got a chance to go
- 39:19to this beautiful stable, very wealthy people and got a chance.
- 39:22It actually smelt very, very good.
- 39:25When I walked in, it actually smelt you know what powder
- 39:28smells like that It had that that powder smell to it.
- 39:32It didn't smell if. It was Saratoga.
- 39:34I believe. It smelled good because that
- 39:35place is. Beautiful.
- 39:36I don't remember. It was a It was a beautiful
- 39:38stable. I went in there and when I was
- 39:40at the Belmont Stakes and I was down where all the horses were,
- 39:44they were taking care of the horses.
- 39:46The horses did not smell like crap.
- 39:48They did not. It did not smell like crap over
- 39:50there. Now where they crap, yeah, it
- 39:52smells like crap. But where I was getting a chance
- 39:56to be in the back end of it and seeing all the horses, it was it
- 40:00was fantastic. I never and I watched the Triple
- 40:02Crown. I actually went down.
- 40:03I, I, I got to interview the, the jockey and got the chance to
- 40:08meet the owners and the coaches, the, the, the trainer.
- 40:12It was, it was, it was sensational.
- 40:13It was a great experience. I'll never forget it, never
- 40:16forget it going. Into the Belmont and seeing a
- 40:18Triple Crown. That was the last Triple Crown
- 40:20one. Did you?
- 40:21Do you know who that was? Justify American Pharaoh?
- 40:24No, it was justify American Pharaoh.
- 40:27It was justified American Pharaoh the year before and then
- 40:30Justify it was back-to-back years and we haven't seen a
- 40:33Triple Crown winner winner since.
- 40:35I don't know if we will we'll ever see a Triple Crown winner
- 40:38again. Honestly, the way these horse
- 40:40races are going, I, I just, it's, it's very, very hard to do
- 40:44that. And, and that's why I think
- 40:46it's, it was very impressive. And they said that if I'm not
- 40:49mistaken Justify they think they were giving him steroids or
- 40:52something. They got investigated for that
- 40:54and I think Baffert got caught for his spending for a.
- 40:57Year and American Pharaoh was also bad for this guy.
- 40:59Also too. Yeah, so, so if very and Bafford
- 41:03is one of the most cockiest people, his son, I want you guys
- 41:07to understand this. His son was sitting up there
- 41:10when they were doing the interviews after they won the
- 41:12Triple Crown and his son was playing video games and
- 41:16everybody people wanted to interview his son more than they
- 41:18want to interview Bafford because he's an ass.
- 41:21Nobody wanted to talk to Bafford.
- 41:22He was just a a complete jock ass.
- 41:24That's all I'm going to say. Nice.
- 41:26So as what? What movie was that from?
- 41:28I I was watching jock ass. I I think it was like I.
- 41:32Don't know what is a movie reference Mr. Dan remember Mr.
- 41:35Nanny I watched all the Hulk Hogan movies because Hulk Hogan
- 41:39passed away. May rest in peace.
- 41:41I watched over the weekend no holds barred Suburban Commando
- 41:45and Mr. Nanny and jock ass was the the bad guy.
- 41:49I think it was was it I forget what maybe No, it was no holds
- 41:54barred. It was no holds barred, the bad
- 41:56guy calling, calling him a jockey.
- 41:59You know, I think we have a graphic that's related to stinky
- 42:02things, yes as well, just about that.
- 42:04Yes, we call the last segment. What's that smell?
- 42:07Hold up, what is that smell? What's that?
- 42:13Smell. Wow, you don't see that every
- 42:17day. My rear end is burning.
- 42:22There he is. I like anal duty Dodger.
- 42:30I love Lisa Ann. You're just so into everything's
- 42:36got to be anal or butt stuff. This dobber in the dirt I got
- 42:41the bubble gums like I always gave up the booty.
- 42:47I'm not the one who's saying that Jabba was.
- 42:50As long as she's using dude wifes and taking care of my 2
- 42:53hole I'm good. I didn't say that.
- 42:59You're you're such a clown. I'll let you lick my butt,
- 43:04literally. I'm about the one who said any
- 43:06of that. You're literally not a clown.
- 43:08You're literally an ass clown, right?
- 43:10Now I farted, smell my ass. Java looks like he's plotting
- 43:14something evil. I'm putting you on a leash now.
- 43:19A lot of hot ladies, they call me the ladies man and Mr. Studio
- 43:23grew. Emails.
- 43:27Speedy, come on, Errol, I'm going to, I'm going to fade away
- 43:30here. And maybe we should let the
- 43:31people know. All right, all right, Well, it's
- 43:34pretty simple. Listen, Tommy's giving me
- 43:37advice. I'm.
- 43:38I'm not even going to get started.
- 43:39Anyways, It's pretty simple. Everybody's going to go.
- 43:42We're going to go around in a circle.
- 43:43I'm going to pick the order, and it's pretty simple.
- 43:45You're going to give us a story and you're going to tell us what
- 43:47it smells like. We'll go fish.
- 43:50Speedy, Tommy, Mike, Jabba, Me. All right, I will start it off.
- 43:58And Errol, you said it just a second ago.
- 44:01Hulk Hogan passed away at the age of 71 the other day.
- 44:05It's cook everyone by surprise. He had been out campaigning for
- 44:10the Republican Party. He had been, you know, trying to
- 44:13sell his real American beer. Fans were not too happy that he
- 44:17was only coming back trying to make money and they booed him.
- 44:20That on top of racist things over the years that happened
- 44:23with sex tape that leaked and last 10 years, that's the last
- 44:2610 years. If you go back the other 50
- 44:29years of Hulk Hogan's career, he was the hero to almost everybody
- 44:33in this country. He for 10 years in the 80s into
- 44:36the early to mid 90s, he was the most iconic, you know, tough guy
- 44:41there was. He was in Rocky as the bad guy.
- 44:46Was it Thunder Lips? Was his name in Rocky right?
- 44:50Hollywood Hulk. Hogan and then he does the all
- 44:54time greatest turn from good guy to bad guy by creating the NWO,
- 44:58one of the greatest stables in the history of wrestling, and
- 45:01reinvents himself as he goes into his 40s.
- 45:04He can't sell this guy. And then then even when he was
- 45:07in his late 50s, he wrestles The Rock and main event at
- 45:10WrestleMania and he was able to thrill different generations of
- 45:14fans. Fish is not a panty dropper.
- 45:16Deep end at this point, you know, in his career, yeah, that
- 45:18happens. Listen, it's whatever.
- 45:21You can't forgive some of this stuff.
- 45:22That's OK. Still Hulk.
- 45:25Hogan The. Immortal Hulk Hogan, What does
- 45:28it smell like? It smells like all of that
- 45:30garbage that was thrown onto the onto the ring at the Bash of the
- 45:35Beach in 1996 when Hulk Hogan created the New World Order,
- 45:40Brother. Well, he didn't create it.
- 45:43It was. Yes, he did.
- 45:44It was him that night, he says. It was.
- 45:46Kevin coins the term. No, it was him.
- 45:49Eric Bischoff. He's Eric.
- 45:51Bischoff. Well, Eric Bischoff.
- 45:52Created Jabba likes my shrimp cocktail.
- 45:55And Hogan coined the term all. Right, so I'm going to go to an
- 45:59arrest from by a fifty or five year old man who was a stalking
- 46:03Caitlin Clark pleaded guilty to 2 1/2 years in prison.
- 46:07A 55 year old man named Michael Lewis pleading guilty to that
- 46:11and I just want to mention it more of not only him but also a
- 46:13general concept or a couple of reporters that were being creepy
- 46:16at towards her last year when she first got drafted into the
- 46:18WNBA. Just guys, please stop.
- 46:20She is trying to live her life as one of the most humble
- 46:24superstars in sports, and there's just so many people
- 46:27creepy towards it. Finally, somebody gets actually
- 46:30prosecuted for something like that, pleads guilty to it.
- 46:32But this behavior, please stop. So what does it smell like?
- 46:36Well, there's a lot of stink bugs in Indiana, apparently.
- 46:38So for all 459 Caitlin Clark 3 pointers, there's going to be a
- 46:42bunch of stink bugs in there. What does it smell like?
- 46:44Smells like 455 and 59 of them in a Pat Mccabee's bed in his
- 46:48secret retreat with Aaron Rodgers smoking ayahuasca.
- 46:54Oh wow, that was something. All right, I'm going to go over
- 46:57to the golf course. How about Golf Course World?
- 47:00However, not in real world, but on the theatrical side because
- 47:0230 year old movie Happy Gilmore just had a Happy Gilmore 2.
- 47:07The sequel just recently dropped this past week and hey, I
- 47:10thought it was a pretty good movie.
- 47:11I actually had a lot of fun watching it.
- 47:12I watched it with my sister and we had a really good time.
- 47:14It was actually a really funny movie, really hilarious.
- 47:17I don't want to spoil what happens, but my favorite part of
- 47:19it was all the cameos that were in there.
- 47:21Where do I even start? There was such athletes, so many
- 47:23celebrities as well, Return of Shooter Mcgavin, MJF, Kelsey
- 47:28Plum, Travis Kelsey was in there, Scotty Scheffler, Rory
- 47:31McIlroy, a Bad Bunny, Eminem, Kid Cudi, Post Malone, and the
- 47:35list goes on and on. I'm forgetting people as well,
- 47:38but hey, it wasn't. I won't say it was better than
- 47:41the first one. Of course not.
- 47:42A lot of sequels are of course better than the first one.
- 47:44It had that sort of nostalgia feel.
- 47:46And of course, the people that couldn't be with us in this
- 47:48second movie, that being of course, Carl Weathers and Bob
- 47:51Barker, who unfortunately passed away in that 30 years time
- 47:54frame, of course had a little nod to them, showed their
- 47:56graves, showed them in the in the sky, waving down and happy.
- 47:59But I got to say I I enjoyed it. I really did like it.
- 48:03If you guys like the first one, definitely get a chance to watch
- 48:05the second one. And I got to say, it smells like
- 48:08the pieces of shit that Shooter Mcgavin.
- 48:11Eats for breakfast. So there we go.
- 48:14Well shooter, I want to say something before before we move
- 48:17on. That movie was so overrated and
- 48:19you thinking that it was a good movie.
- 48:21That movie was horrible. It was horrible.
- 48:23The cameo, everything, everything, everything,
- 48:28everything was bad. Everything the way they put it
- 48:31together, it was not funny. There was nothing funny about
- 48:34the movie. It was boring and it was stupid.
- 48:36The whole storyline behind it was stupid.
- 48:39I'm not even going to say it when you watch it guys, if
- 48:42you're a Happy Gilmore fan, I I guarantee you after you watch
- 48:45Happy Gilmore 2 and I, I remember Happy Gilmore, you
- 48:48weren't even born with Happy Gilmore.
- 48:50OK, I Happy Gilmore was so the one was so much better than two.
- 48:56The story That's not true because 2 was better than Home
- 48:59Alone One. OK.
- 49:00No way A. 100% No No 100. Malone 2.
- 49:04Another movie you weren't born for.
- 49:06I've lost both movies I've watched.
- 49:08Home Alone 2 was much better than Home Alone.
- 49:10I'm not much. Better.
- 49:12Yeah, the pigeon lady, The homeless pigeon lady.
- 49:14He's talking about what? Great storyline.
- 49:17First of all, if you actually thought that Happy Gilmore 2 was
- 49:21good, it just shows you how stupid you guys.
- 49:23It's a fun. It was a horrible, horrible.
- 49:26Don't waste your time. Don't waste your two hours.
- 49:31Don't waste your two hours. It was it was horrible, horrible
- 49:35storyline. It was No, it was it was
- 49:38terrible. Anybody that watches it, you'll
- 49:40tell anybody that knows Happy Gilmore one will tell you after
- 49:43you watch that movie. It was a waste of my time.
- 49:46Travis Kelsey was great. Bad Bunny was amazing that.
- 49:49Bad Bunny might have been the best one in the movie.
- 49:52The whole movie was stupid. The whole.
- 49:54Story Bad Bunny was the Patty though.
- 49:55Bad Bunny was hilarious. Scotty Scheffler was the best
- 49:58part of the movie. Honest.
- 49:59Scotty Scheffler was great. He does it.
- 50:02That was it. Scotty Scheffler was the best
- 50:04part of the movie. When he said then they arrested.
- 50:06Him when he went out there the best part of the movie, and I'll
- 50:09just give it to you and my my eyes was when he you know how he
- 50:12goes shooter shooter, he goes Scheffler, Scheffler and shooter
- 50:16looks at him. He's a That was the best part of
- 50:19the movie when he. Was that when he was on the
- 50:21bumper pool? Too.
- 50:22Yeah, that's when he was like he had.
- 50:24The fingers ready out and he put it back in his pocket.
- 50:28All of a sudden that was the best part of the movie.
- 50:31I mean, everything else, all stories good, so bad, so bad.
- 50:35Really. Go go look what they rated the
- 50:36movie. MJF this was sold.
- 50:38His son also was fantastic. I loved MJF.
- 50:43In that movie, go go look at what they rated that movie.
- 50:46And I don't care what Netflix gave it because every single new
- 50:48thing that's on Netflix is always to the top.
- 50:51It was horrible, horrible. All right, I think we'll debate
- 50:54this one another time. Who's up next?
- 50:56I'm going to go a good one and I'm going to piggyback you on
- 50:59that poops, just because we always talk about what's that
- 51:02smell? And it's always bad.
- 51:03But the kid that Adam Sandler always, you know, puts in his
- 51:09movies and, and Cameron and Boyce died of he had epilepsy,
- 51:15was 20 years old and, you know, died in his sleep.
- 51:17And Adam put him in pictures and, and parts of the movie and,
- 51:21and A and a great story about Adam and, and I've gotten to
- 51:24know him personally and he is one of the finest human beings
- 51:27on the planet. And he refuses to be a dad to he
- 51:32to another boy just because the relationship that he created
- 51:37with him and his mom always put stuff out about what Adam does
- 51:41and how he remembers him. And so, I mean, on a positive
- 51:44note, because there's so much negativity in the world, it's
- 51:46it's nice to know that there are people in this world that that
- 51:49do care about who you are as a person.
- 51:51And even when you're gone, they still care and remember you.
- 51:53So what's that smell like? That smells like there is still
- 51:55good in this world. I will say this, I didn't notice
- 51:58that. So I got to give Adam, Adam
- 52:00Sandler a lot of credit. And I love Adam Sandler.
- 52:02I think his movies are great. I think everything that he's
- 52:04done for the industry is great and and what he stands for.
- 52:07So I'm not taking shots at Adam Sandler.
- 52:10I just think it was poorly written.
- 52:12I didn't like the storyline, it was really bad.
- 52:15And Java also Adam, Adam Sandler, of course, as you know,
- 52:19played his, he was his movie dad, as I know actors like to
- 52:21say in both of the grown-ups movies later on.
- 52:24So Yep, or earlier on. But yeah, it's very I remember
- 52:27rewatching it too and remember somebody pointing it out and
- 52:29we're going to be watching it seeing the Cameron Boyce.
- 52:31It's a nice little nod. The kid would be only like
- 52:32262627 if he was around till today so.
- 52:36Yeah, 26. Right.
- 52:38So the final what's that smell goes to the New York Jets.
- 52:41Yes, I got I got to mention and I don't usually do this, haven't
- 52:45mentioned The Jets very much on this show for the last couple of
- 52:48months. Well, ladies and gentlemen, The
- 52:51Jets media does it again. And I've been saying this over
- 52:55and over and over again, the media should not be allowed to
- 52:58go to practices. Why?
- 53:00Because they put out stories that shouldn't be put out as
- 53:05Friday. The story early in the morning
- 53:07actually was Thursday morning as Justin Fields was carried off
- 53:12and brought off the field and stories coming out from all
- 53:15different medias that he was walking off the field.
- 53:17And then they said he was completely carted off the field,
- 53:20came out and everybody was going crazy that oh, he tore his AC
- 53:25alley, he tore his Achilles, he could be out for the season.
- 53:28All these stories. And everybody was like, Oh my
- 53:31God, he adjusted fields. The jet season is over.
- 53:34Well, ladies and gentlemen, within hours the story comes out
- 53:37and they said it was a pinky toe.
- 53:40Yes ladies and gentlemen, one of his offensive lineman stepped on
- 53:45his cleats. Yes and the media took it to a
- 53:48whole nother level. The rich Saminis and the Brian
- 53:52what's what's it Costello's of the world.
- 53:55Absolutely ridiculous. Take it and put The Jets as a
- 53:59clown organization once again. It's not The Jets organization,
- 54:03it's the stupid media that throws The Jets under the bus
- 54:07and makes The Jets look like a clown organization because
- 54:11Justin Fields comes out, coaching came out, the coach
- 54:14came out and said, hey, you know what, he's going to be fine.
- 54:17No, no, no, nobody wanted to believe in until the story came
- 54:20out the next day when they had the MRI.
- 54:22What does it smell like? It smells like the Philadelphia
- 54:25fans eating dog shit or horse shit after they win a Super
- 54:31Bowl. So that's what it smells like.
- 54:33And by the way, I want to say something for all The Jets media
- 54:36guys that are actually on their podcasts and saying stupid
- 54:39stuff. And I want to say this because I
- 54:42don't want to. I said I attacked Jake last
- 54:44week. I'm not going to attack Jake
- 54:46here. I will say this, when you go out
- 54:49there and you speak about The Jets and, and you want to come
- 54:52out, you want to give factual stories, actually give us facts
- 54:56because the stuff that comes out on social media is absolute
- 55:00rubbish. Yes, in the English word,
- 55:02rubbish, stupid, dumb dog shit. And I'm so tired of reading
- 55:08idiot people, media people actually kill the New York Jets.
- 55:12I, I don't know what The Jets are going to be this year.
- 55:15Honestly, they're probably going to be dog shit this year.
- 55:18They're they're go, they're building.
- 55:19They have a new coaching staff. They have a young quarterback.
- 55:21They got to figure out if he's the guy and they got to figure
- 55:24out what these young players are going to do on this roster.
- 55:27The fact is they're building it in the right way.
- 55:30They brought in a Jets guy and the media before they even
- 55:34brought in, and I'll say it before they even hired their
- 55:37coach, the media was taking shots at The Jets that they
- 55:40don't know what they're doing. They shouldn't have done this.
- 55:42They they should have done this and they should have done that.
- 55:45I the fact is the media are not the coaches, they're not
- 55:48executives. They don't know what it what it
- 55:50is to run an organization. And yes, The Jets have Woody
- 55:53Johnson running the organization.
- 55:54He is an idiot. He doesn't know what he's doing.
- 55:57There's there's factual either does John Mara either does
- 56:00Rooney, even the either does the Rooney family.
- 56:02None of them know what they're doing.
- 56:04All they do is they provide the mucho dinero.
- 56:08I don't want to hear about what ownership is doing and how smart
- 56:11they are. How about Robert Kraft?
- 56:13Have we heard anything about Robert Kraft for I think the
- 56:16last time I heard Robert Kraft, he was going to sell his team,
- 56:19and now all of a sudden we're talking Robert Kraft about
- 56:22building a new stadium and all this other stuff.
- 56:25It's just ridiculous. I don't want to hear it anymore.
- 56:27It's just absolute garbage. Robert Kraft, the the owner
- 56:29behind Mikey sees fantasy football.
- 56:31Dave. Yes, it just, it's just
- 56:34absolutely. The last time you heard about
- 56:35him was the day spa. It's dog shit.
- 56:37It's dog shit. I don't want to hear about the
- 56:39media and all these writers and reporters.
- 56:41Boy Green, he has another one. I'll mention him.
- 56:44Boy Green spitting out his garbage too.
- 56:46Absolute garbage. The other thing I want to do is
- 56:49piggyback off that besides being at The Jets, I just think as a
- 56:52whole in general of all the media or all these wannabe, you
- 56:57know, no disrespect to anybody, but it's like all everybody's
- 57:00doing is regurgitating the same nonsense and fake news that
- 57:06spreads like wildfire and nobody knows anything about anything.
- 57:10There's no facts giving, there's no logic giving and there's
- 57:13nothing behind it. And I mean no disrespect, but
- 57:16it's like. I am.
- 57:17I'm going to disrespect you. You're all shit.
- 57:19That's what you are. You want me to tell you you're
- 57:21all garbage? Everything that goes out there
- 57:23in the public eye, what you don't know, if you're not there
- 57:26with the players and you're not hanging out with the players,
- 57:29you don't know shit, so you shouldn't be saying anything.
- 57:32I don't want to hear the garbage that Regurge.
- 57:35Regurge is out of your mouth, Jabba, when you play for the
- 57:37Yankees, how many writers came out and was saying crap about
- 57:40you that they didn't know anything about?
- 57:42How many? I didn't give him the chance to.
- 57:45So if if you don't give him a chance to, then they can't.
- 57:48I mean, there was maybe some stretches of the truth, but if
- 57:51you don't give them a chance to, to write about you, then they,
- 57:54they really can't do anything as if you're organic Like, but
- 57:57that's the thing. That's what's tough about
- 57:58football though, because remember they only get like 2
- 58:01days with the media. So the media has to like try and
- 58:04make up stories where there's no factual basis, there's no umph
- 58:08behind it. So it's kind of they're making
- 58:09up stories until you can hear it from the horse's mouth, per SE.
- 58:13So it's a little bit harder that way because they have access to
- 58:16us. I just don't want to hear it
- 58:17anymore. I go on these podcasts.
- 58:19I get it. I don't.
- 58:20Want to hear it anymore? You really don't know what
- 58:22you're talking about. And some of these guys, they
- 58:24come out like Mike was saying, listen, I'm no disrespect.
- 58:27The Islander guys do it. The Ranger guys do it.
- 58:31New York, you're you, I understand you're trying to sell
- 58:35your product. I understand you're great
- 58:37writers and you're award-winning writers and you're a journalist
- 58:40and you're a journalist great. I don't want to hear it.
- 58:44You don't know what you're talking about.
- 58:46And when you come out and say the things that you say, it
- 58:49pisses me off when it's not true.
- 58:51It pisses me off when I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to
- 58:54say on my show and and try to figure out how I'm going to
- 58:57attack it. And then I'm reading this guy
- 59:00right this and another guy right that.
- 59:02It turns me off. And that's why I don't really
- 59:05want to talk about The Jets as much as until the season starts.
- 59:08I don't want to hear about The Jets because it's all crap.
- 59:11It's all bogus crap. And that's all I'm going to say
- 59:14about that. Thank you to Mike for joining
- 59:16us. I know he's been busy setting up
- 59:18for his, his it. Well, it's kind of your
- 59:21daughter, right? It's your niece.
- 59:23But my niece, you raised her. So she's kind of like your
- 59:26daughter. Her 30th birthday.
- 59:28So whiskey neat. So he's setting it up next
- 59:31Friday. Next Friday.
- 59:32So congratulations to, you know, Mike and his his niece or
- 59:37whatever, whatever he wants to consider.
- 59:39She she is because my niece. Yeah.
- 59:41Well, no, you said you you raised her.
- 59:42So it's kind of like you daughter, you know, I.
- 59:44Like it, but technically. All right, she's your niece
- 59:47anyways, but thank you to everybody on Spotify, Apple,
- 59:51Apple Video, all the audio, 135,000 downloads last month,
- 59:57all the different video stuff that we're doing right now on

- 1:00:36What do we have on Wednesday? Nothing yet on my end.
- 1:00:39I'm not sure if Nathan and anyone yet but nothing yet on my
- 1:00:41end so still working on that. And Mike, I'm anytime, man,
- 1:00:44anytime. You want to come and join us.
- 1:00:46I mean your takes, the lackluster of takes because we
- 1:00:50didn't talk much about the Celtics.
- 1:00:52Mike, if you don't talk about the Celtics, no, don't talk
- 1:00:56about the Celtics, he's off. And and by the way, he is not a
- 1:01:00giant fan. As much as she wants you to
- 1:01:02believe that he's a giant fan, he's a New England Patriot fan
- 1:01:05as he's turned over the years. So he's a lying sack of crap.
- 1:01:08Just remember, just remember, Drake made top five
- 1:01:10quarterbacks. Ryer.
- 1:01:11Ryer. Yeah, right.
- 1:01:13You know what? Three more years, yeah, right.
- 1:01:15Everything. Five years.
- 1:01:16Good luck. I think he's going to be.
- 1:01:17Good luck. Watch, watch, watch.
- 1:01:19How bad he. Watch how big of a step he takes
- 1:01:21this. Year.
- 1:01:21Oh yeah. I can't wait.
- 1:01:22I can't wait to watch him fall flat on his face.
- 1:01:24Anyways, that's it. We'll be back Wednesday.
- 1:01:26Goodnight. It's the worldwide sports radio
- 1:01:30network.
