Can the Bennett-Lapid merger break Israel's political deadlock?
The first polls published since the formation of the joint list between Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid indicates that parties opposing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will still fall short of a Knesset majority without support from Arab parties – even after the merger.
