paintings. The only place Elena had ever truly
• 0:47
called home. She closed her eyes. To be another
• 0:53
way. Then she remembered Adrian Blackwell. Who
• 0:59
had walked into her life with an impossible offer.
• 1:04
Six months. A fake engagement. Money to save
• 1:10
the gallery. Had not explained everything. He
• 1:18
wanted answers about her father. Neil Hart had
• 1:22
disappeared fifteen years early. Leaving behind
• 1:26
questions that Elena had spent her entire life
• 1:28
trying to forget. And now Adrian was telling
• 1:33
her... that their families had been connected
• 1:35
all along. She picked up her phone. Name appeared
• 1:41
on the screen. Adrian Blackwell. She hesitated
• 1:48
before calling. He answered almost immediately.
• 1:54
It's late. The contract line beside her. Why
• 2:10
six months? Because that's how long I need. A
• 2:20
family that our engagement is real. I have to
• 2:25
live at Blackwell Estate. Because my family watches
• 2:30
everything. I'm going to convince them. We can't
• 2:34
appear together only when it's convenient. Lena
• 2:40
stared at the darkness beyond the window. And
• 2:44
what exactly? Are you investigating? Silence.
• 2:54
And Adrian spoke. Your father disappeared 15
• 3:04
years ago. Could you possibly know about it?
• 3:09
Your father and my family knew each other. Adrian
• 3:25
continued something connected to my family. Something
• 3:28
that happened 15 years ago. Because I believe
• 3:44
he left something behind. Toward the old folder
• 3:49
her mother had kept. She swallowed. Almost laughed.
• 4:13
Found it strange coming from a man who treated
• 4:14
every conversation like a negotiation. More questions,
• 4:19
she said. In the six months, she looked at the
• 4:45
document again. For the first time, she believed
• 4:49
him. That frightened her more. Seven was missing.
• 7:14
She checked the documents again, carefully turning
• 7:17
each sheet. Nothing. The missing page had not
• 7:24
been misplaced. Someone had removed it. Her father's
• 7:31
signature was still visible on the agreement.
• 7:37
Name of Richard Blackwell. Elena felt a cold
• 7:42
sensation move through her chest. 15 years since
• 7:51
her father disappeared. 15 years since her mother
• 7:55
began hiding the truth. Someone had taken the
• 8:01
one page that might explain everything. Her phone
• 8:06
vibrated. on the screen. Elena stared at it.
• 8:15
Then she answered. For the first time, Adrian's
• 8:49
office seemed more dangerous than she had imagined.
• 8:54
Someone knew about the agreement. Someone knew
• 8:57
about her father. And someone was afraid she
• 9:02
would discover the truth. Elena slowly walked
• 9:07
toward the window. Across the street, a black
• 9:12
sedan stood in the rain. Its windows were dark.
• 9:18
Couldn't see the driver. She knew someone was
• 9:22
inside. After several seconds, the engine started.
• 9:46
The sedan moved slowly down the street. and disappeared
• 9:51
around the corner. Lena returned to the table.
• 9:59
Her mother's letter lay beside the contract.
• 10:03
She read the warning again. Do not trust everything
• 10:10
Adrian tells you. But do not assume everything
• 10:15
he says is a lie. The words seemed different
• 10:22
now. Was not the only person keeping secret.
• 10:35
Even the most dangerous person involved. But
• 11:10
now she had a decision to make. Accept Adrian's
• 11:15
  offer.
