- 0:00Most Australians think the dangerous part of investing is picking the wrong stock.
- 0:03It isn't. The most dangerous way to invest are perfectly legal,
- 0:07widely available, and feel completely normal. Most people have no
- 0:11idea how much money is being lost by everyday Aussies and all
- 0:14those around the world, not just through bad luck, but through bad vehicles and
- 0:17misinformation. I'm Lloyd J. Ross, seven-figure investor, entrepreneur, and I've helped thousands of
- 0:20everyday Australians, Americans, New Zealanders, Canadians, and those in the UK to
- 0:23get out of debt and build real wealth. And in this video, I'm going to walk you through
- 0:27the seven most dangerous ways that people are investing right now, why
- 0:30every single one of them feels safe, and exactly what to
- 0:34do instead. So the first segment to highlight
- 0:38is CFDs and leveraged forex. So CFD is a contract for difference,
- 0:42which is leveraged stocks. and leverage Forex, which is leveraged currency
- 0:46exchange, right? Foreign exchange, Forex. They're legal, but brutal.
- 0:50This is from ASIC, Australian Securities Investment Commission, their
- 0:54own review. In a 12-month period, over 133,000 people, 68% of
- 0:57retail clients lost more than $458 million trading CFDs, contracts of
- 1:00difference. Industry-wide
- 1:08data confirms that Forex losses are around
- 1:1275% to 89% of traders. Think about that. What
- 1:15a statistic. 75% to 89% of traders operate
- 1:19at losses. So why it feels safe is
- 1:23because there's licensed brokers and there's trading platforms
- 1:27that are around that act like a stock market and
- 1:31that's what they market. A lot of them are misleading, even
- 1:35though they're legal. It seems normal, right? So here's the
- 1:38mechanism for how they work. Leverage obviously magnifies both directions. It magnifies
- 1:41gains and magnifies losses. And a small move can wipe you out,
- 1:45particularly if it's in a very highly liquid asset. So
- 1:48sometimes within hours, right? And that's what you want to avoid. Here's
- 1:52the other thing to consider. And I mentioned this on our shares masterclass. If
- 1:55you haven't watched Shares Masterclass, in
- 1:58full, the hour episode I did. Go back and watch it right now because
- 2:02it's the most highly valued video you'll ever watch on YouTube this
- 2:05year, without a doubt. Just go back and watch it. I talk all about shares and
- 2:08you just need to know that stuff. So go back and check it if you haven't. Now, in
- 2:12that episode, the reason I'm bringing it up is because I mentioned in there that if
- 2:15you look at the Forbes Top 400, not one of them, not one of them, Even
- 2:20any of your rich friends, not one of them is an FX trader or a CFD,
- 2:24like not one of them. It's more of a gambling exercise, that's why they never made it. That's
- 2:28why you don't see any fat, overweight, obese 95-year-olds. Like
- 2:31when was the last time you saw an obese 95-year-old? Never, because they never made it, they died.
- 2:35And that's the same as FX traders and CFD traders, they just don't make it. So
- 2:39number two, fake investment platforms and AI scams. Huge,
- 2:43especially now with AI. So in 2025, investment scams
- 2:48cost Australians almost a billion dollars.
- 2:52I think the number's 840 million. It's actually the single largest scam
- 2:56category ahead of other types. There's a student of mine before she
- 2:59came to us, which is sad, but she said to me that she came
- 3:02across a term deposit by Citigroup and
- 3:06it was like 8% term deposit. Now, when you look at that, term deposits
- 3:10are 5% and below. They're not 8%. So straight away, that's a red flag. The
- 3:14other thing is they copied the logo of Citigroup. And then they offered
- 3:17it to her. She put $150,000 there, $100,000. And
- 3:21of course, it was a scam. She lost it. She was in the news. It was incredible. She's
- 3:24a New Zealander. So it's in New Zealand. And she's lost it. Think about that, right?
- 3:28And it happens. I was in the bank the other day transferring some money. And
- 3:32she said just that they double check on big transfers or
- 3:35any transfers because she said the scams are just so prevalent now. It's crazy.
- 3:39So 2026 is on track to be the worst, 45 million lost. It's
- 3:43just in Q1 of this year, right? And so
- 3:46here's the new weapon in this area. AI-generated deepfakes
- 3:51and fake celebrity endorsements. They're
- 3:54making fraudulent platforms look real, okay?
- 3:58So a basic online search is not enough because of these fraudulent setups,
- 4:03which is crazy. ASIC removed over
- 4:073,000 fraudulent crypto platforms in a single year. What?
- 4:11And 20,000 scam sites. So like,
- 4:15even though they're doing this, the losses in this area keep climbing. Like, it's
- 4:19just so easy just to, yep, I'll just do that, right?
- 4:23Social media amplifies a lot of this stuff, right? Because it's easy to slide in the DMs.
- 4:27Like for example, someone, I don't know how they did it even,
- 4:30but someone created a Telegram account this week, a verified one
- 4:34with the blue tick of me, and started messaging all the people
- 4:37in my Telegram contacts to get them to come
- 4:41into this platform. I was like, how did they even do that?
- 4:45Because someone said to me, that's not me. And so I had to put out a big broadcast
- 4:48in my email and across our community saying, this is a scam, please don't do
- 4:52this. Look, if you get asked for money,
- 4:56especially for me, I'm not going to ask you for money. If I ever
- 4:59do that, you know straight up someone pretending to be me and
- 5:03that happens a lot. Anytime you're asked
- 5:06to sign up to a platform or you're asked for
- 5:10money specifically, that's probably the worst. This has happened to me too. I was selling my
- 5:13Harley Davidson once many years ago. And I put up on Gumtree, I think,
- 5:16or whatever it was, Facebook Marketplace, and someone DMed me
- 5:19and said, hey, I want to buy your bike, but I just need to get the trailer here. So if you can just put $30 into
- 5:23this fund, I'll be able to get it. I'm like, what? I'm not giving you money to come
- 5:26and buy my motorbike. No, are you kidding me? So you can see, you just need
- 5:30to be a bit vigilant, right? So the ones that
- 5:34they do look legit, but just got a little bit of extra research. And
- 5:37if they're asking for money, red flag, red flag.
- 5:41But also what's interesting about this is your innate desire,
- 5:45which I talk about in Money Buys Happiness, actually, this mindset called the jackpot money
- 5:48mindset. It's so ingrained in us to
- 5:52want to put a bit of money somewhere and win the lotto. This
- 5:56is how people approach investing. That when it comes to us, we just
- 5:59want to believe it. So that's why people lean into it and do it. I'm like, why
- 6:02would you put $200 in it? Because I thought it was good.
- 6:06I'm like, no, it's your greed factor taking
- 6:09over. It's instinctual greed. Because you
- 6:13want to buy the handbags and the cars like everyone else. You want to get
- 6:16ahead. You want to do it fast. That's what causes that. Slow
- 6:19down, relax. If it looks too easy, it probably is.
- 6:24Number four, number, this is the next segment, segment three, which
- 6:27is unregulated crypto and guaranteed token launches. Now
- 6:31you saw this in a big way with the HuckTour girl. The
- 6:35HuckTour girl, remember her? She came in and she did this massive rug pull.
- 6:38So she launched a token, her own meme coin, and
- 6:42someone put a million bucks in it, can you believe it? And they lost it. And they were like, some retail,
- 6:46you gotta be an idiot. So anyway, she rug pulled everyone. She
- 6:49bid it up, she sold them all, rug pulled and she disappeared. Now,
- 6:53because it's unregulated, you can't really, that's up for debate
- 6:56whether it should be sued or not. But in these unregulated areas, this is why I
- 7:00stickler of crypto because it's just a gnarly play. You see it every week.
- 7:03Someone lost their wallet, someone, it's just so gnarly. You just
- 7:07wouldn't play in that realm. And I know that the crypto bro is going to
- 7:10come and say, yeah, but if it's this and it's that, like whatever. It's just, why would you
- 7:13bother? You know what I mean? So the overlap with crypto scams is massive. I
- 7:17think half of that money lost in scams is crypto. So $380 million
- 7:22recorded by the Australian Federal Police last year. $380 million
- 7:25in crypto scams. And I see it all the time, like, Lloyd, I lost
- 7:29$60,000 in crypto and they've asked me to put in another $25,000 to get it back. I'm like,
- 7:32oh my God, it's just crazy. The target demographic
- 7:36is usually people under 50, incidentally, which is interesting.
- 7:40They're the ones that they hit mostly for the crypto ones. Why it's uniquely
- 7:44dangerous is because In a bank, you can reverse transactions.
- 7:47And if you're dealing with MasterCard and Visa, and those guys have got payment rails and fraud detection, you
- 7:51can reverse charges like you can. That's why it's really good if
- 7:54you're doing online shopping, use a credit card. It was Frank William Abagnale, the
- 7:57guy that they modeled that movie, Catch Me If You Can. He's
- 8:01the guy that says, at Katagoliki, he says to his kids,
- 8:05when you're online shopping, always use a credit card because
- 8:08it's got built-in fraud detection and you can reverse the charges, right? MasterCard,
- 8:12Visa credit cards, American Express, it's built in. But if
- 8:15you're dealing with crypto movements, there's no reverse transaction. There's
- 8:19no regulatory force to get your refund on token
- 8:22projects. There's no guaranteed return speech. And there's no protection
- 8:26from the government. Like, there's nothing. And again, legitimate crypto
- 8:29does it. Legitimate crypto. How you can put that in
- 8:33a sentence is beyond me. Legitimate crypto. God. You
- 8:36might as well just stay clear of it, I think. Yeah. Particularly if the
- 8:39pitch includes like an Elon Musk cameo. Elon
- 8:43Musk did this. You gotta be careful of the celebrity endorsements. What's
- 8:47fascinating is even the celebs that endorse the legitimate ones
- 8:50like Binance and Coinbase and like
- 8:53I think Tom Brady got brought in that. He lost a shit ton of money. I
- 8:56think Matt Damon, like all these celebs. If you ever see a celebrity toting
- 9:02for a brokerage platform, just fucking steer clear of
- 9:05that. Just turn on, what the hell does a celebrity know, right?
- 9:09I think the person who did it well was incidentally Taylor Swift. She
- 9:13was the one that got out of that. She didn't get brought in it, right? She's clever. Okay,
- 9:16next one, segment four, options and futures without understanding them. So options,
- 9:20forwards, futures, and swaps. A derivative is
- 9:24a financial instrument that's derived from another asset, okay, derivatives. Now
- 9:27they use forwards and futures in the commodities market.
- 9:32so that they can lock in contract prices at today's prices or
- 9:36forward prices based on the movement of the commodity. It protects farmers
- 9:40and suppliers from losing money as they take their commodity
- 9:44to the marketplace. So they lock in certain contracts and
- 9:47you can trade those on the futures exchange. So a forward
- 9:51contract is what they are, a futures contract is when they're traded on an exchange. And
- 9:55swaps is a little bit, it's a derivative of those, and
- 9:59then you've got options, which is an option to acquire or liquidate
- 10:03an asset at a certain price. Where options are interesting is
- 10:07that they add an element of leverage to an
- 10:10asset, so say shares. You can make a lot of money doing them, but
- 10:13the reality is you better just steer clear because here's why. There's
- 10:17an element of when you write an options contract or you sell an options contract,
- 10:21you're buying an options contract. It's an option to buy or sell the
- 10:24asset and it's based on time. The asset has to move past an
- 10:28exercise price to be able to exercise the contracts and
- 10:32own the asset. If it doesn't hit that price by a certain timeframe,
- 10:37then the option contracts expire worthless and you've lost the actual
- 10:41price that it cost you to buy the contract. So it's very much time-based. And
- 10:45if that's the case, the benefit of having no leverage on
- 10:48an asset is you've got the benefit of time. But if you've got an options contract and
- 10:51there's a time in there, you're under pressure and you don't know what's going to happen in the
- 10:54short term. This is very hard. Do people do well with it? You
- 10:57can, but It's pretty unforgiving. The data on
- 11:01retail options and futures trading shows that large majority of participants lose
- 11:05money over time. Like it's 70 to 80% lose money. So
- 11:08you don't want to fight against those statistics. Like, are you kidding me? There's an 80% chance you're
- 11:11gonna lose. Why it's seductive? Because there's a small, again, small upfront
- 11:15cost, jackpot. It's the jackpot money mindset I talk about in Money Buys Happiness. It's the jackpot money
- 11:18mindset, small bit of upfront cost, huge payoff, right?
- 11:22It's like a lottery mentality, the jackpot money mindset. I
- 11:25can turn $550,000. And there's survivorship bias.
- 11:29So survivorship bias is when someone's actually come out the other side of something that's risky and
- 11:32then touted it and said, ah, this works. Well, we all... promote
- 11:36that because we're all surviving humans on earth. So we all have in us and
- 11:39like, hey, do this. Let's consider I'm not gonna get hit by a bus next week. So there's a survivorship bias
- 11:43and everything. So when someone wins in contracts and
- 11:46they put it on X or they put it on YouTube, like, ah, they've survived. They're
- 11:50in the 10%, 20% camp, but they don't talk about the 80% camp
- 11:53that died. So you see survivorship bias pop up on social media.
- 11:56So you never see the ones that lose the 500. That's
- 12:00not what sells. So again, the real danger of options
- 12:03contracts and forged infusions and swaps is that they expire worthless.
- 12:07So there's 100% loss on your capital. Even if you were eventually right in
- 12:10the track, it doesn't matter because the time expired. So
- 12:13what it's for is for sophisticated, well-capitalized traders
- 12:17using it for hedging. It's not for TikTokers. It's actually to hedge
- 12:22price differentials. Let me give you an example. A
- 12:25lot of our portfolio is in American stocks, and that
- 12:28means I'm exposed to the American and Australian exchange
- 12:32rate, the currency exchange. Now, if I
- 12:36anticipate that the Australian interest rate is going to increase in
- 12:39future, and the American rate is going to fall in future, I would
- 12:43estimate that the Australian dollar will rise in value. Because typically, if your
- 12:47rates in your country are higher than other countries, the differential in the
- 12:50exchange is higher, so the local currency increases against the other currency. So
- 12:54if I was going to expect that to happen, I might say
- 12:57I've got like millions of dollars in American denominated
- 13:00stocks, so American dollars. I think the Australian dollar is going to strengthen. And
- 13:05what I could do is I could either hedge
- 13:10the currency with a currency play, or I could hedge by
- 13:13putting it into a hedged ETF. So you can hedge losses
- 13:17with options. You can hedge. That's effectively what futures and
- 13:20forwards are. They're hedging the price changes in commodities
- 13:24prices between when they yield the crop and when they take it to
- 13:27market. That's what they're for. But they're not for speculation, okay?
- 13:31Just quickly, if you're ready to take control of your finances but feel stuck on
- 13:35where to start, I have a solution. My book, Money Bias Happiness,
- 13:39simplifies investing and wealth building with practical steps to help
- 13:42you achieve financial peace. Get your copy via the
- 13:45link in the show notes and let's get your money working for you. Now back
- 13:48to the episode. We've gone through a few there. Number five is
- 13:52this one, dangerous way to lose money. All in one on
- 13:57a speculative stock or the next big thing. It's not illegal. It's
- 14:00not a scam. It's just structurally dangerous. Putting a
- 14:03huge share of your net worth into one unproven company or sector, it's
- 14:08concentration risk. It's non-diversified business risk because
- 14:11those businesses can go broke. And it's the illusion of a gain
- 14:15based on the previous gain. So it's recency bias. and survivorship bias.
- 14:19You see this sometimes in X, like someone's like, Oh, I put all my money in one stock and they won
- 14:23and they are winning and they're putting out, Oh, I've got a $10 million portfolio now. And I
- 14:26started with 500, like they're massive survivorship bias. And
- 14:30there's many stories where that didn't work out. And so that's why Charlie
- 14:33Munger even didn't. And Warren, they don't put all their eggs in one. There
- 14:37has been times where they have, and that's why I'm saying it's not out
- 14:40of, it's not, don't ever do it. It's if you do it,
- 14:44it's gotta be like a highly quality multi income
- 14:48company. Like for example. If you were to put all of
- 14:51your money into a company like Google, it's
- 14:55really like multiple businesses in one. So it's got its own diversification built in.
- 14:59If you were to put your money in ExxonMobil, like big
- 15:02oil company, it's just so vast in its assets and how it manages things.
- 15:06The downside is almost not there. So there's those elements of
- 15:09what you can do, right? I happily put all my wealth into United
- 15:13Pacific Railroad, for example. You can tell where a business is
- 15:16so solid that if you did that, you're basically participating as
- 15:20the owner of the one business. But you don't have to. So why would you? So
- 15:24if you're speculating, you definitely shouldn't do it. But even if you're an investor,
- 15:28why, why? Just own three stocks instead of
- 15:31one. That's all. Just a little tiny bit of diversification goes a long way because you
- 15:35just can't foresee all parts of the future. Like what
- 15:39if there's one thing you miss? What if? Just a little bit of diversification helps,
- 15:42okay? The next one, segment six is borrowing to invest in
- 15:45volatile assets. Massive. Here's the mechanism. Margin
- 15:49loans, credit cards, personal loans used to buy volatile assets and
- 15:52move around a lot. Leverage doesn't amplify gains, it also amplifies losses.
- 15:56And in shares, like liquid assets, if you borrow money to buy those
- 16:00and they fall, the lender can ask you post margin, meaning you've got to
- 16:03add equity capital to that to recalibrate the
- 16:07loan to value ratio. And that's where you get margin called. And
- 16:10there's a movie called Margin Called. And you don't want to get margin called, because
- 16:13then you're just losing equity capital. So, there's a
- 16:17lot of danger in that if you get a big market collapse because all
- 16:20of a sudden you're like, oh my god, the company's doing okay, but there's a huge market collapse, which has
- 16:23got to post so much equity capital. This happened to a buddy, a
- 16:26friend of my dad's in the GFC. He had $400 million in commercial
- 16:30assets. And in those days, you didn't read the fine print, but when
- 16:33you borrow money in a commercial asset, it's 70-30. He's got to put 30% equity, 70% borrowings. And
- 16:40then in the contracts, what they didn't read was if the commercial value
- 16:43falls, you've got to post equity capital into
- 16:47the loan to be able to recalibrate 70-30 split on
- 16:50the commercial assets and they treat them like a business. And he didn't see that and
- 16:53it cost him, I think he lost everything. So leverage on commercial assets
- 16:57can get out of control, leverage in shares and liquid
- 17:00assets can get out of control, okay? CFDs are a good example
- 17:03of that, leveraged forex is a good example of that, but leveraged shares and any
- 17:07sort of margin lending, just avoid it.
- 17:11Like that includes borrowing money from your home in an equity loan and
- 17:14putting it in the market. Dumb. Don't do that. Next
- 17:17one, number seven. This is a big one. When
- 17:21I did my CFA chart, I went up to sit level three. So
- 17:25I passed level one, level two, and I ended up just building a business, but it's there to
- 17:28be finished. It's the hardest exam in the world for finance. It's
- 17:31brutally hard. You can go and research if you want. It's fucking brutal. And
- 17:35what's interesting is they do have an ethics part of that curriculum, which is great. And
- 17:38you are never to use guaranteed return because nothing's guaranteed. But
- 17:42you can see if someone's not sophisticated or financially trained, they'll
- 17:46have guaranteed return. Not money back guarantee, that's different, but
- 17:49a guaranteed financial return. It's actually a no-no with
- 17:53ASIC. And you see this a lot with financial influence and so forth when they're putting guaranteed
- 17:57returns up, they're the ones that get hit. with ASIC because you just can't do
- 18:00that. So the single biggest red flag in any
- 18:04and all investing full stop is guaranteed return. Any
- 18:08product promising a fixed, high or guaranteed return,
- 18:11especially paired with urgency, like today only. it
- 18:15tops the list. Now I'm not talking about money back guarantees, it's different. Or
- 18:19a guarantee of performance of something like, you're guaranteed to
- 18:23love this if you don't, that's different. But it's a guaranteed financial
- 18:27asset performance. Whenever you see it, you know
- 18:30it's a red flag. So for example, There's this private equity placement that I made
- 18:34in a company in Canada, which is a great company, great people, operating business. They
- 18:37were raising money. I actually connected him with a guy and he was raising money for them
- 18:40and he found some fellow in the United States who was like getting these
- 18:43incredible returns. This private equity fund he had and he was seeking money
- 18:46from them to then put 10 million in placement, blah, blah, blah. It's a long story. Anyway,
- 18:51my friend brought me this deal and he goes, this is the guy, look,
- 18:54he's getting the returns and it said 37% guaranteed returns. I
- 18:57was like, do not talk to that guy again. He's like, no,
- 19:00no, what do you mean? I was like, no, don't talk to me. Number one, you can't get
- 19:0437% compound returns, because it's more than Warren Buffett. You can't, because sustainably. That
- 19:07was the first red flag. Second red flag is guaranteed returns. I was like, this
- 19:10is going to end badly. No joke, this is what happened. I
- 19:14wouldn't say a week went by. I said, hey, what happened to that guy you told
- 19:17me? He goes, oh, he's in jail. Like, shit. It's
- 19:21that, it's prevalent. I think, it's sad, but
- 19:25like this, like these types of characters and
- 19:29scam, like it's everywhere. Fuck it, even
- 19:33in the areas you don't think it's in, it's crazy. So anyway,
- 19:37avoid this whole notion of guaranteed, 20% guaranteed. You
- 19:40see it a little bit in the Instagram DMs. Oh, give me
- 19:43your money and I'll get guaranteed 20% turns a day or whatever it is. It's
- 19:46crazy. The only legitimate exception for the guarantee thing is
- 19:50bank products. Like for example, the government guarantee
- 19:54for deposits in banks of up to $250,000. That's a government
- 19:58guarantee. Right? So there's an
- 20:01example of where a guarantee is legit. Okay. Real investing has
- 20:04no guarantees. Anyone offering one is a risk. Just remove it. Don't do it. Okay. Except
- 20:08for the government and you guarantee your bank deposits. What else? Segment
- 20:12eight, the playbook, how to check before you invest, okay? Firstly,
- 20:16one, check the license, okay? So if
- 20:19there's a financial product being promoted, they
- 20:23will have a financial services license or an AR license, okay? So for
- 20:26example, people often ask me about what we do on our channel and on my Instagram. I
- 20:29don't promote financial products. I don't give financial product advice. I don't give financial
- 20:33advice. I don't give general advice. It's just financial education and
- 20:36it's pretty broad. It's a book and whatever. And there's even in our
- 20:39books, there's even a disclaimer look right there at the start. But I
- 20:43try and keep it fairly broad and I don't delve into recommending broker
- 20:46accounts, stuff like that because it's more principles based. Okay. So, but
- 20:50if someone was offering like some sort of financial product
- 20:53advice or like a recommendation of
- 20:57a product of some sort, you'd want to see their license. Okay. I
- 21:00think that goes without saying, I think a lot of people know that. What else, what else have
- 21:03we got here? I think the other thing to consider is you can
- 21:06do this, which is really effective. If you are uncertain, just screenshot
- 21:10the thing and then upload it to Gemini or ChatGPT or
- 21:14Claude and just ask it to scan it and say, actually that's a scam. And it'll give
- 21:17you this rating out of a hundred. And it looks like 85% scam, probably a scam. The
- 21:20third thing is you can ask who's the
- 21:23buyer if I need to sell tomorrow, meaning if there's no clear
- 21:27answer on exiting, it's illiquid or it's
- 21:31fake and both aren't ideal. So there has to be real
- 21:34markets, real buyers. So you always find out, hey, how did that person sell?
- 21:39Run the guarantee test. So is it fixed and high return
- 21:42and guaranteed and urgency? Is it a speculative bet? Being
- 21:45if you can lose all your money in that one thing, and I would say to part of the things you can
- 21:48do, which is to wait 24 hours on anything. Okay, it's
- 21:52okay, you can always buy it tomorrow, right? And
- 21:56if it's already gone wrong, like what happened to my friend, you can go to scamwatcher, you
- 21:59can talk to ASIC and report it, right? And God, they seem busy,
- 22:02but that's the only thing you can do. Take some of those steps I mentioned in
- 22:0610 minutes, and I think you've probably outperformed most of
- 22:09that 837 million loss that's out there, okay? So
- 22:14you can go check out more ASIC or MoneySmart and anti-scam centers
- 22:18and so forth, but there are patterns. There's
- 22:21danger at every level like of guaranteed profits, guaranteed inside
- 22:25the edge. They have an agenda. Now, people don't care if you have an
- 22:28agenda as long as you don't have a hidden agenda. So
- 22:32just make sure you understand the ins and outs and you'll
- 22:36be able to see. And if you don't do it, that's pretty fair. I
- 22:40personally stick to the big things. I stick to a
- 22:43big brokerage account. I've got a brokerage platform. It's the second biggest in
- 22:46Australia. That's what I use. Real
- 22:50estate, shares, term deposit, you
- 22:53can get in almost no trouble doing that. And then your own private business. Anything that's
- 22:57novel, I would say, is red flag. So if it's novel,
- 23:01seems quick, seems easy, and someone's reached out to you on Telegram or
- 23:04Instagram or whatever, just say no, all right? So there's the
- 23:08seven things or seven steps you can take to address the seven most
- 23:11dangerous ways that people are investing right now, right? Even
- 23:15if they're regulated like CFDs and Forex, even if they
- 23:18look legit, even if people are doing it, even if you're gonna
- 23:21borrow the money, even if the bank allows you to, even if they say guaranteed, just
- 23:25be careful, all right? So here's the number I want you to take away.
- 23:28It's $837 million gone every single year. It's
- 23:31crazy, okay? I don't want you to be a statistic. So
- 23:35follow the checklist and stay safe out there, team. See you
