Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: The next segment we're going to do is called second
- 0:02Speaker 1: Date Update because that's what we're going to try and
- 0:05Speaker 1: get and that's what the bit is called.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Second Date Update starts right now on John Jay and Ridge.
- 0:11Speaker 3: One oh four to seven Kiss FM, John Jay and
- 0:13Speaker 3: Rich is time for second date updates.
- 0:15Speaker 4: You meet somebody, you go out on a date.
- 0:17Speaker 3: Maybe you guys met because your parents set you up,
- 0:19Speaker 3: or you met each other in church, or maybe a
- 0:21Speaker 3: dating app or maybe you're at a bar in a restaurant.
- 0:23Speaker 3: You meet somebody, you go ot a date, you have
- 0:25Speaker 3: a great time, you expect there to be a second date.
- 0:27Speaker 4: Doesn't happen. So you come to.
- 0:29Speaker 3: Us and we're gonna help find out what went wrong.
- 0:32Speaker 3: Let's say hello to Ken. Good morning Ken.
- 0:35Speaker 5: Hey, how you doing?
- 0:36Speaker 4: Hey? What's your story? Man?
- 0:38Speaker 5: So I met this girl and I thought we really
- 0:41Speaker 5: thought we had something. We went mini golfing, we're having
- 0:46Speaker 5: drinks or laughing the whole night. It just felt really
- 0:50Speaker 5: like natural and easy in the best way. So the
- 0:53Speaker 5: conversation was great, the vibe was there, and I left thinking,
- 0:58Speaker 5: you know, okay, finally a date that doesn't feel like
- 1:00Speaker 5: a job interview.
- 1:01Speaker 6: You know.
- 1:03Speaker 5: But now exfused because after that all that, you know,
- 1:05Speaker 5: we texted for about a week and I kept trying
- 1:07Speaker 5: to lock in for a second date, and all of
- 1:10Speaker 5: a sudden, she just doesn't get back to me. So,
- 1:12Speaker 5: you know, now I'm sitting here, We're playing the whole
- 1:15Speaker 5: night like did I say something weird? Has she just
- 1:18Speaker 5: been entertaining me so that my feelings don't get hurt?
- 1:21Speaker 5: Like did I come on too song? I really don't
- 1:23Speaker 5: know what's going on, And you know, I really liked her,
- 1:25Speaker 5: so I thought we genuinely had a great time. I
- 1:29Speaker 5: just want to know what happened.
- 1:30Speaker 1: What was her guys's conversations like the week after the date,
- 1:34Speaker 1: were you guys just texting like good morning, good night
- 1:37Speaker 1: or was it pretty consistent through the day.
- 1:39Speaker 5: No, I was pretty consistent. We were talking, you know,
- 1:41Speaker 5: So I was like, we're having conversations, talking about like
- 1:45Speaker 5: our interests and different likes and dislikes and like like
- 1:49Speaker 5: part of our life stories things like that. You know.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Yeah, So that doesn't seem like she was like just
- 1:54Speaker 1: trying to be nice and slowly, but.
- 1:57Speaker 4: Maybe she was.
- 1:58Speaker 7: Maybe she was trying to give him the benefit of
- 2:00Speaker 7: something happened at dinner she.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Got the ick.
- 2:02Speaker 7: But she's like, but he's so nice and we do
- 2:04Speaker 7: get along. So she's trying, you know, and you're like
- 2:07Speaker 7: trying to make yourself not like get rid of the ick,
- 2:10Speaker 7: but then it just doesn't go away.
- 2:11Speaker 2: And then finally she was like forget it.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Hey, when you say that the job or the date
- 2:16Speaker 3: wasn't like a job interview, can you walk us through
- 2:18Speaker 3: what some of those dates are like that are like
- 2:20Speaker 3: job interviews?
- 2:22Speaker 5: Oh yeah, so you know, sometimes you just show up
- 2:24Speaker 5: for a date and it's just like, you know, twenty questions. Okay,
- 2:27Speaker 5: what what do you do? Like, what are your aspirations?
- 2:32Speaker 5: What do you see yourself in twenty you know that
- 2:34Speaker 5: kind of stuff, Like just a bunch of questions and.
- 2:37Speaker 4: What are your strengths? What can you map quest?
- 2:43Speaker 3: Question back in well, actually recently that on a date
- 2:47Speaker 3: she did a map quest? All right, Well what's her name?
- 2:53Speaker 5: Her name is Ruby?
- 2:54Speaker 4: What a great name?
- 2:55Speaker 3: Ruby? I love that name. All right, here's what we're
- 2:57Speaker 3: gonna do, Ken, We're gonna get Ruby on the phone.
- 2:59Speaker 3: We're gonna find out why she's blowing you off. We're
- 3:00Speaker 3: going to find out what went wrong in her eyes?
- 3:03Speaker 4: All right?
- 3:04Speaker 3: So second Date Update continues next with John Jay and Ridge.
- 3:08Speaker 3: John Jane Rich, we.
- 3:10Speaker 4: Are in the middle of second date update. You got
- 3:11Speaker 4: Ken and Ruby.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Well, this is the story of Ken in Ruby's mini
- 3:17Speaker 2: golf day. He thought that it went great. But did
- 3:20Speaker 2: Ken shank his shot into the rough? Did his hole
- 3:24Speaker 2: with one become a hole in nun? Can she not
- 3:28Speaker 2: get as Kyle says, past the ick of Ken, We're
- 3:32Speaker 2: about to find out.
- 3:34Speaker 5: That's a good recap, right Ken, Yeah, I think that's
- 3:36Speaker 5: pretty accurate.
- 3:37Speaker 3: Went it was nice to go on a date that
- 3:39Speaker 3: didn't feel like a job interview, you said, But then
- 3:41Speaker 3: you've been texting her and what she just stopped returning
- 3:45Speaker 3: the text messages.
- 3:46Speaker 5: Yeah, like one day out of the blue, she just
- 3:49Speaker 5: kind of just stopped texting me back and I was
- 3:50Speaker 5: trying to see about a second date. Haven't heard anything.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Oh you know what happened? I used to say all
- 3:56Speaker 3: the time, How do you know? You know she's not
- 3:57Speaker 3: in the hospital, how do you know something didn't happen?
- 4:00Speaker 3: And somebody sent me a screenshot yesterday they go, oh
- 4:03Speaker 3: my god, she goes you popped into my brain. It
- 4:05Speaker 3: was about a guy that went on a date with
- 4:07Speaker 3: a girl and the girl was mad at the guy
- 4:09Speaker 3: for ghosting him, but it turned out he got attacked
- 4:11Speaker 3: by a bar and he's in a coma. I was like,
- 4:16Speaker 3: oh my god, what a great what a sweet wonder
- 4:23Speaker 3: how they found out?
- 4:23Speaker 4: Like, yeah, so the guy literally and there's a there's
- 4:25Speaker 4: a headline.
- 4:26Speaker 2: How many times were you like to probably in Tacoma
- 4:28Speaker 2: in the hospital.
- 4:29Speaker 3: Hit by a bread truck. I gotta find that story anyway,
- 4:31Speaker 3: all right, we're gonna call Ruby Man.
- 4:33Speaker 4: Hang tight?
- 4:52Speaker 3: Hi?
- 4:52Speaker 1: Is this Ruby?
- 4:53Speaker 2: Shame?
- 4:54Speaker 8: Hi?
- 4:54Speaker 1: Ruby, My name is Peyton. I'm with John, Jay and Rich.
- 4:57Speaker 1: We just wanted to talk to you about a few
- 4:58Speaker 1: things on the radio. If you're down.
- 5:01Speaker 3: Oh cool, okay, yeah, okay, So Ruby, we do a
- 5:05Speaker 3: segment on our show called Second Date Update, and it's
- 5:07Speaker 3: usually where somebody goes out of a date with someone.
- 5:09Speaker 3: They have a good time, and they expect there to
- 5:11Speaker 3: be a second date, and when they don't get that
- 5:13Speaker 3: second date, like they're being ghosted or stood up, they
- 5:16Speaker 3: come to us and we try to peel back the
- 5:18Speaker 3: layers of the date and investigate and give them advice.
- 5:21Speaker 3: And that happened this morning, and the only problem is
- 5:24Speaker 3: we are kind of stumped. We can't figure out the
- 5:27Speaker 3: reason why you are not calling back this one guy
- 5:31Speaker 3: named Ken.
- 5:32Speaker 4: So we thought we would call you. You could go over
- 5:34Speaker 4: the date.
- 5:35Speaker 3: With us and tell us what went wrong with this guy,
- 5:37Speaker 3: or maybe nothing went wrong.
- 5:39Speaker 8: He's great. Actually we had a great time. Yeah, I
- 5:45Speaker 8: just I that's why this feels so bad, Like because
- 5:48Speaker 8: he just he really had a wonderful time, and he's
- 5:52Speaker 8: so sweet and he's easy to talk to, and I
- 5:56Speaker 8: really enjoyed myself. And I started thinking, like, I really
- 5:59Speaker 8: like this man. After we went out, after we were texting,
- 6:04Speaker 8: after the date and everything, I just kind of felt
- 6:07Speaker 8: like we were maybe on different pages as all. It
- 6:11Speaker 8: kind of came out that he had not gotten his GED,
- 6:16Speaker 8: so he dropped out of high school and he didn't
- 6:18Speaker 8: get his GED and all this, and and I just
- 6:23Speaker 8: I don't know, I guess I just started thinking, like,
- 6:25Speaker 8: what's the plan, Dave, Like do we do we have
- 6:29Speaker 8: a plan? Like you don't need to be you don't
- 6:31Speaker 8: need to be a CEO of anything, you don't need
- 6:33Speaker 8: to be a doctor, you don't need to be you know,
- 6:34Speaker 8: but I just need something, some kind of ambition or
- 6:39Speaker 8: drive or just just a plan in life. Something sketched
- 6:42Speaker 8: on a Napkins something and.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Well, what's he doing now to make to make money?
- 6:46Speaker 6: What's this thing he helps install pools?
- 6:51Speaker 8: Like he has like we're luck works this pool company.
- 6:57Speaker 8: So yeah, I mean, and that's that's great. I'm like glad,
- 7:02Speaker 8: but I just I don't know, It's like, where are
- 7:05Speaker 8: you going? Where you headed? What's what's the idea?
- 7:07Speaker 6: You know?
- 7:08Speaker 8: And I'm just kind of looking for someone with that
- 7:11Speaker 8: in mind.
- 7:12Speaker 2: And you don't want to help be a cheerleader for it,
- 7:14Speaker 2: you just wanted to be there.
- 7:16Speaker 8: I mean it just yeah, I just kind of I'm
- 7:19Speaker 8: feeling like I'm at that stage in my life where
- 7:21Speaker 8: I need somebody with that kind of ambition and stability
- 7:26Speaker 8: and everything. That's just kind of where I'm sitting.
- 7:30Speaker 6: Wow.
- 7:31Speaker 5: So that's why you go through me, Not because I
- 7:34Speaker 5: was weird or because I said something crazy on the date,
- 7:38Speaker 5: but because I told you I talked out of high school.
- 7:42Speaker 8: I'm sure, Hi, Sorry, I mean honestly, that that's why
- 7:49Speaker 8: you didn't say anything weird. We had a great time.
- 7:51Speaker 8: I just that's just that's just what I'm looking for.
- 7:54Speaker 8: I'm just looking for, you know, someone that has a
- 7:58Speaker 8: plan and has you know some ambition. I just don't
- 8:02Speaker 8: find the same page.
- 8:03Speaker 5: It's all right, right, ambition, you know, totally fair, which
- 8:09Speaker 5: is funny because you know, I own a luxury pool
- 8:12Speaker 5: design company. I've got fourteen employees, two crews working every day.
- 8:18Speaker 5: I booked out for the next eight months. I dropped
- 8:21Speaker 5: out by the way because my mom got sick and
- 8:23Speaker 5: I had to work. And I turned that into a
- 8:26Speaker 5: business that's doing really well. So you know, maybe I
- 8:29Speaker 5: don't have a ged, but I do have three trucks,
- 8:32Speaker 5: a warehouse, and a tax problem that my accountant says
- 8:35Speaker 5: is a pretty good problem to have.
- 8:36Speaker 4: Dang my drop. Yeah, keep going going?
- 8:39Speaker 2: Why so defensive? You know what I mean?
- 8:44Speaker 4: Because she said it no ambition.
- 8:49Speaker 5: I know I was a loser.
- 8:51Speaker 1: It doesn't seem like knew you were the owner, which
- 8:54Speaker 1: is okay, right.
- 8:56Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean, I'm sorry I didn't know you owned it.
- 8:59Speaker 8: I that I mean that pinks a very different picture.
- 9:04Speaker 8: I didn't mean to judge you or anything like that.
- 9:06Speaker 9: I oh no, no, you.
- 9:08Speaker 5: Did judge me. You did judge me. That's exactly what happened,
- 9:12Speaker 5: which is fine. You know now I know what kind
- 9:14Speaker 5: of person you are.
- 9:16Speaker 8: I do apologize. I maybe couldn't have asked more questions.
- 9:19Speaker 8: I definitely did not have the entire picture from you.
- 9:22Speaker 8: I mean, that is the one thing that I did hear,
- 9:24Speaker 8: you know, and I didn't know.
- 9:25Speaker 6: The rest of it.
- 9:26Speaker 8: And I and I came back that I did not
- 9:28Speaker 8: ask enough questions. I could have done that, But that
- 9:32Speaker 8: does reframe it for me.
- 9:34Speaker 5: Well, yeah, that's that's great for you. I mean for me,
- 9:38Speaker 5: it's like, I'm I'm not interested at this point.
- 9:41Speaker 3: You should be a little more laid back. She just
- 9:42Speaker 3: didn't get the full story. I'm on his side, man.
- 9:46Speaker 7: It wasn't like she was saying he needs to make
- 9:48Speaker 7: all this money. She just felt like, you guys weren't
- 9:50Speaker 7: on the same page. And I kind of feel like, yeah,
- 9:52Speaker 7: you are pretty successful, but like it seems like you're
- 9:54Speaker 7: so like angry about it.
- 9:56Speaker 4: Well because she said that he has no ambition, no stability.
- 9:58Speaker 7: And she didn't I ask about But to me, that's
- 10:01Speaker 7: actually a red flag that he's getting that angry about it.
- 10:04Speaker 7: And it's like I think afterwards it just seems like
- 10:07Speaker 7: really overly like punchy and defensive, but like like I
- 10:11Speaker 7: think there's a different way to say it, like, oh, well,
- 10:13Speaker 7: I mean, that's too bad. We're totally you were totally
- 10:17Speaker 7: off here. I do actually own the company. I do
- 10:19Speaker 7: actually what I've read.
- 10:20Speaker 2: And said, it's like, well, fine, actually I.
- 10:22Speaker 3: Own the comp Do you know what I mean?
- 10:23Speaker 7: It's like there could have been a different approach for
- 10:25Speaker 7: me to feel like there's to me that's a red flag.
- 10:27Speaker 7: Like she didn't say he needs to be a CEO.
- 10:30Speaker 7: She literally said, you don't need to be the CEO.
- 10:32Speaker 7: I just need to see something for me. But I'm
- 10:34Speaker 7: not seeing it.
- 10:35Speaker 5: No, she judged me. She jumped her conclusions. I don't
- 10:38Speaker 5: I don't put enough with that in my life. I
- 10:40Speaker 5: don't need that.
- 10:41Speaker 2: You guys aren't compatible.
- 10:43Speaker 3: It's kind of like the like if the other thing
- 10:45Speaker 3: would be a guy being on here going I owned
- 10:47Speaker 3: five cars, I own my own company. I make four
- 10:49Speaker 3: million a year, Like they'll be like, wow, that's a
- 10:51Speaker 3: red flag. This guy didn't talk about his life. Yeah,
- 10:53Speaker 3: he talked about relationship, and then he made himself vulnerable
- 10:56Speaker 3: to say, by the way, I dropped out of high
- 10:58Speaker 3: school and don't even have a ged. It's some point
- 10:59Speaker 3: in my mom one point in that conversation that came up.
- 11:01Speaker 3: So now she's telling us, he has no stability, no drive.
- 11:05Speaker 3: I don't want to go out with him. Now she
- 11:06Speaker 3: finds out he owns the company. Oh wait a minute, Like,
- 11:09Speaker 3: I see it that way.
- 11:11Speaker 2: I'm with you that.
- 11:12Speaker 4: I was like, oh, let's go out again.
- 11:13Speaker 7: She's like, well, that reframes things, you know what I mean.
- 11:16Speaker 2: I don't know. I take care of your mom. That's
- 11:18Speaker 2: totally different. We talked about that.
- 11:20Speaker 5: She didn't he didn't even try. She's just like, oh no, no,
- 11:23Speaker 5: dd okay bye.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Honestly, you guys don't like each other that much, because
- 11:28Speaker 2: this would be an easy fix. And you're like, oh,
- 11:29Speaker 2: I'm so I didn't know. I probably should ask you
- 11:31Speaker 2: that let's go You don't like each other?
- 11:34Speaker 3: Well, I think we're gonna have lots of comments on
- 11:35Speaker 3: this eight seven seven, nine three seven one oh four.
- 11:38Speaker 4: Seven your thoughts. I was seconded up there.
- 11:39Speaker 3: Actually, Ken, I'd like to pull back the layers on
- 11:41Speaker 3: something you brought up that I think is really really important.
- 11:44Speaker 4: You own a luxury pool company.
- 11:46Speaker 3: Yes, I think Kyle and I could use your help
- 11:48Speaker 3: because the pool company that developed our pool sucks ass
- 11:51Speaker 3: was not a luxury and destroyed our backyard. So maybe
- 11:55Speaker 3: we can have you come by and fix some things
- 11:57Speaker 3: for us. So forget about the dating segment. Fix our
- 12:01Speaker 3: pool segment.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Every week.
- 12:06Speaker 5: I might get more out of it.
- 12:07Speaker 3: Actually, all right, So no second date for you guys, right,
- 12:11Speaker 3: not for me, all right, room, not for you.
- 12:14Speaker 8: I mean it would have been, but it sounds like
- 12:16Speaker 8: he's a little sensitive, So all right, no.
- 12:19Speaker 4: Second date updates, no second date thanks, both of you.
- 12:21Speaker 3: Guys are eight seven seven ninety seven L four seven
- 12:26Speaker 3: your thoughts on the second date update?
- 12:28Speaker 4: We're talking next man.
- 12:30Speaker 3: Lots of people call about second update, Ramaine, go ahead,
- 12:33Speaker 3: you're on the air.
- 12:33Speaker 6: High Ah, good borning. I was calling about the pool guy.
- 12:39Speaker 6: You know, sometimes you you know you're talking to somebody.
- 12:43Speaker 6: You want them to like you and love you for yourself,
- 12:46Speaker 6: not to what you're making. And so for now, the
- 12:48Speaker 6: guy has a job, he said, he's working a pool.
- 12:51Speaker 6: It doesn't matter what he is. If she enjoyed his
- 12:53Speaker 6: company and laughter and the night was great. I mean,
- 12:57Speaker 6: you know now that she found out he has a pool,
- 12:59Speaker 6: and she's totally changing her mind. It's almost like it's
- 13:02Speaker 6: saying being a gold digger right now. And second of all,
- 13:06Speaker 6: and I understand that Kyle mentioned something about now he's
- 13:10Speaker 6: being aggressive and so because of his tone of his voice.
- 13:13Speaker 6: But you guys gotta understand what people are calling. They're
- 13:16Speaker 6: all from different nationalities like Italians, Middle Easterns, and so forth.
- 13:20Speaker 6: They all have a strong voice. That doesn't mean they're
- 13:22Speaker 6: being angry or they're yelling or they're screaming. But sometimes
- 13:26Speaker 6: I feel that people these days are so sensitive. You
- 13:29Speaker 6: just gotta know how to talk to them. Otherwise he's
- 13:31Speaker 6: gonna judge you by your voice and your tone that no,
- 13:34Speaker 6: you're a bad person or a bad call, and that
- 13:37Speaker 6: is not right.
- 13:38Speaker 7: Okay, he was getting a little aggresive. He did say
- 13:40Speaker 7: he was irritated by it.
- 13:42Speaker 4: As well.
- 13:43Speaker 6: I would be irritated too if somebody tells me that
- 13:46Speaker 6: she enjoys everything else. But I have a ged But
- 13:48Speaker 6: first of all, find out. He said he dropped off
- 13:51Speaker 6: that the school to help his mom. He's a probably
- 13:53Speaker 6: mom was a single mom. Then you know she needed
- 13:55Speaker 6: to help. But you just don't judge on a first
- 13:57Speaker 6: date or second date. Later on you'll wark about somebody.
- 14:00Speaker 6: You just can't do it and raising or saying something
- 14:03Speaker 6: on the phone. That doesn't mean that he's been aggressive.
- 14:06Speaker 4: I see nervous.
- 14:09Speaker 7: I was just getting aggression vibes from him, which was
- 14:11Speaker 7: a red flag for me. I totally understand where you're
- 14:14Speaker 7: coming from, and I get it. I think we all
- 14:16Speaker 7: kind of agreed that they had really poor communication and
- 14:18Speaker 7: should have communicated with And that was a.
- 14:21Speaker 3: Little bit of the debate between you and me because
- 14:23Speaker 3: I didn't think he came across aggressive.
- 14:24Speaker 4: I thought he was like bumped out.
- 14:26Speaker 6: I don't think he became aggressive at all. It was
- 14:28Speaker 6: just him talking, and we said what hit his mind
- 14:31Speaker 6: when somebody judged him by he's a pool person or
- 14:34Speaker 6: doesn't matter who you are, what you are a long
- 14:37Speaker 6: you've got a job. You got to roof over your
- 14:38Speaker 6: head and that's a blessing. We don't need somebody who's
- 14:41Speaker 6: got to have a degree. Some people they don't even
- 14:43Speaker 6: have a degree in their way up there and doing great.
- 14:46Speaker 6: But my main thing, and I always get that, and
- 14:49Speaker 6: I apologize Kyle for you, but you know, when everybody
- 14:53Speaker 6: talks and you guys judge by their voice or he's
- 14:57Speaker 6: been a little bit aggressive, a little bit, just a
- 14:59Speaker 6: little bit that No, it's just the way that people
- 15:02Speaker 6: they talk these days. They don't have time. I don't
- 15:04Speaker 6: have time to be sensitive or soft with somebody. Hey,
- 15:08Speaker 6: let's talk. You know, this is how he's conversation. I'm
- 15:10Speaker 6: not gonna take it on avoid.
- 15:15Speaker 3: All right, thanks for taking the time you call us, brother,
- 15:19Speaker 3: Thank you for taking the time.
- 15:21Speaker 4: Chris, good morning, you're on the air.
- 15:23Speaker 9: Good morning John j Rich Peyton call. Loved the show.
- 15:28Speaker 4: Thanks man. What's hey now?
- 15:31Speaker 9: I'm honestly, I'm I'm with John Jay one hundred and
- 15:34Speaker 9: ten percent. Like, I just don't think you can get
- 15:38Speaker 9: everything out of that first state. Like to me, he
- 15:41Speaker 9: was just as cool and calm, and I mean cal
- 15:44Speaker 9: if you hear if you hear little john oh what
- 15:48Speaker 9: oh yeah, yeah, like you're gonna say all of a
- 15:51Speaker 9: sudden like he's suggressive.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Little Johnny is aggressive.
- 15:58Speaker 9: You can agree on that. Oh, I just think out
- 16:05Speaker 9: of that first date, like if like you said, if
- 16:08Speaker 9: she was into him, she said she really enjoyed the day.
- 16:12Speaker 9: She enjoyed him, Like if you did, they give him
- 16:15Speaker 9: a second date and get to know more. You don't
- 16:17Speaker 9: get everything out of somebody's whole life.
- 16:20Speaker 2: He wasn't that into him, and he he was that
- 16:23Speaker 2: the chemistry was off. It was if it wasn't John thing,
- 16:27Speaker 2: it would have been something else that kind of pushed
- 16:28Speaker 2: him away.
- 16:30Speaker 9: Look, yeah, but I think it was more so after
- 16:32Speaker 9: I'm with you, John Jay one hundred and tempercent, Like
- 16:35Speaker 9: he didn't come off like crazier or a wild or aggressive.
- 16:39Speaker 3: Look, here's a Texas sound similar to what you're saying, Chris.
- 16:42Speaker 3: This woman says, second update, I think it's okay to
- 16:44Speaker 3: be upset by someone insulting you, thinking you aren't good
- 16:47Speaker 3: enough because she assumed he wasn't successful due to the
- 16:50Speaker 3: fact that he dropped out. She immediately thought he wasn't
- 16:52Speaker 3: good enough and chose not to ask any questions because
- 16:55Speaker 3: she already assumed he wasn't ambitious due to that one comment.
- 16:58Speaker 4: That's where the sting is is.
- 17:00Speaker 3: I know a lot of dropbouts who made successful lives
- 17:03Speaker 3: and others who became drug addicts.
- 17:04Speaker 4: Learn who they are before you judge their potential.
- 17:07Speaker 7: But I think also, like if she did really like him,
- 17:10Speaker 7: if there was chemistry, if she was really feeling it,
- 17:13Speaker 7: that wouldn't have bothered her. So it's not necessarily the
- 17:16Speaker 7: true stiments like that's what gave the ick.
- 17:18Speaker 2: Well, remember towards the beginning, we're like, hey, couldn't you
- 17:20Speaker 2: help him along? Couldn't you If you liked him, maybe
- 17:23Speaker 2: you can be the inspiration that gets in there. She
- 17:26Speaker 2: wasn't into it.
- 17:28Speaker 4: Yeah, hey Chris, I love your laugh and thanks for
- 17:30Speaker 4: calling in.
- 17:31Speaker 9: Yeah yeah, I love you guys. I love the show.
- 17:33Speaker 4: Thanks man,
