Speaker 1: it could be taken away, or in an instant I

Speaker 1: could be away from the things. So possessions are not

Speaker 1: possessing me, right, and I hope the possessions are not

Speaker 1: possessing you as well. So we could give what we

Speaker 1: have out of our heart with a smile on our face,

Speaker 1: and we could walk away from the situation. If someone

Speaker 1: never gives back to us, or if somebody borrows something

Speaker 1: lot of corn. That's because these farmers ain't playing They said,

Speaker 1: I want a great harvest and a great crop, so

Speaker 1: I'm gonna sow a lot of seed into the ground.

Speaker 1: And they're always telling it. They're always working the ground.

Speaker 1: They're not playing around. They want to see a harvest.

Speaker 1: But the opposite applies. A farmer who plants only a

Speaker 1: who plants generously will get a generous crop. Makes sense.

Speaker 1: You must each decide in your heart how much to give,

Speaker 1: and don't give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For

Speaker 1: God loves a person who gives cheerfully, and God will generously.

Speaker 1: Who will generously, God will generously provide all you need.

Speaker 1: Then you will always have everything you need and plenty

Speaker 1: left over to share with others. So to talk about abundance, man,

Speaker 1: and I couldn't deny it. So I was like a

Speaker 1: homeless man asked me for something if I could help him,

Speaker 1: and it just so happened. And this is like half

Speaker 1: a miracle. I usually never have cash on r mavery

Speaker 1: twenty five years. That means I don't have no money

Speaker 1: in my wallet. I'm just kidding, babe, I'm just kidding.

Speaker 1: But I usually just have plastic, right, And it's been

Speaker 1: kind of like struggling in my personal income right, personal finances.

Speaker 1: But it just so happened that I had twenty dollars

Speaker 1: in my wallet. And I was trying to tell the

Speaker 1: homeless man, I'm listening. I'm not from out here. We

Speaker 1: were like two and a half hours away from home

Speaker 1: when it happened, but didn't matter, and I thought of

Speaker 1: about it. I said, wait, we have something. So I

Speaker 1: heard his story. Amen, And he was telling me his story,

Speaker 1: and it was a tough conversation because you know, his

Speaker 1: hygiene wasn't there. But I stood there listened. Of course,

Speaker 1: you already know I gave him the gospel. I told him, listen,

Speaker 1: I'm going to give you something. But it's not because

Speaker 1: I need or have to give you something. It's because

Speaker 1: I want to give you something. And I explained to

Speaker 1: him about the gospel about who gave the best and

Speaker 1: how he could have way more than what he's happening,

Speaker 1: And I said, I told him, homelessness is a mindset

Speaker 1: because you could be homeless without a physical place to stay.

Speaker 1: But when you have God, Amen, and you're at home,

Speaker 1: you have more than a mansion on this planet, when

Speaker 1: you have the Lord in your heart. I gave him

Speaker 1: the twenty Maybe that was the most he got at

Speaker 1: that time, because he just broke down crying, gave me

Speaker 1: walked away, I said, listen, you could take the gospel.

Speaker 1: You could take that money, do whatever you want. None

Speaker 1: of my business. But I just gave you the gospel.

Speaker 1: of Christ, so that we might belong to Him and

Speaker 1: bear fruit for God Romans seven four. The Lord demands perfection,

Speaker 1: the Lord demands tithe tith, ther demand's perfection. And if

Speaker 1: we stumble, and even from one point, we are guilty

Speaker 1: of breaking the whole law James, Chapter two, verse ten. However,

Speaker 1: Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to

Speaker 1: everyone who believes Romans ten four. So instead of being

Speaker 1: under the law, we are called to live by the

Speaker 1: spirit and walk in freedom that Christ has provided for us.

Speaker 1: Galatians five sixteen. The law is no longer our guide

Speaker 1: right according to the scriptures. Rather, we are led by who,

Speaker 1: Holy Spirit God. So when it comes to the giving

Speaker 1: When it comes to the giving part of it, Holy

Speaker 1: Spirit in us, Amen, give willingly. He sees that willingness,

Speaker 1: he sees the seeds that were planting. Amen, And guess

Speaker 1: who wards it. Somebody comes toward it, another person comes

Speaker 1: to word it. That's seed and guests who provides the

Speaker 1: increase God? So you should feel free, like, wait a minute, now,

Speaker 1: the tithe issue in your congregation, and man, that's between

Speaker 1: you God and the congregation. I'm not going to say

Speaker 1: anything against the tithe because It's a well known, operated,

Speaker 1: well greased, and well operated principle that has been ingrained

Speaker 1: in the congregations all throughout the world. Tithe and offering,

Speaker 1: tithe and offering, But the tenth of your income is

Speaker 1: a requirement. And a lot of different congregations you have

Speaker 1: to give the first tenth of your income have to right.

Speaker 1: It's a demand the New Covenant when it comes to giving,

Speaker 1: no commandment forgiving other than gracegiving. When you give out

Speaker 1: of love, you're free to give what you purposed in

Speaker 1: your heart. We just read the scripture and we can't

Speaker 1: argue with the apostle. I mean, you could talk. You

Speaker 1: could argue with the apostle if you want. Apostle Paul

Speaker 1: what I do understand is the freedom that we had

Speaker 1: in Christ. On this side of eternity, we have freedom

Speaker 1: in Christ. We're not bound. Are you a prisoner under

Speaker 1: shackles and forced to do anything that Jesus is forcing

Speaker 1: you to do yes or no. Be honest if you

Speaker 1: think that Jesus is forcing you to believe in him,

Speaker 1: forcing you to tithe, forcing you to give offerings, forcing

Speaker 1: you to give to a need or a situation, to

Speaker 1: a family. I think that's what's happening right now. When

Speaker 1: I read in the Old Covenant, it was a requirement, right,

Speaker 1: The tithe was a requirement. Ain't Nobody was leaving out

Speaker 1: of the synagogues all of those places of worship without

Speaker 1: giving an offering, without giving a tie. That's just the

Speaker 1: way it was. So I know we take that Old

Speaker 1: Covenant principle and we bring it into the New Covenant Church.

Speaker 1: If I was a leader of a congregation, I wouldn't

Speaker 1: do it. I would really concentrate and focus on how

Speaker 1: Jesus gave. Amen. And once we know how Jesus the

Speaker 1: Lord gave, which he's the right, He's the fulfillment of

Speaker 1: the law. It's in Christ, I'll look at his life

Speaker 1: and I'll teach about his life so much that we

Speaker 1: will give so freely that I won't have to worry

Speaker 1: about a mathematical equation of ten percent to me. I

Speaker 1: think that's a short kind of it's short circuiting what

Speaker 1: Jesus did amen for us already. So we're free to give.

Speaker 1: So give willingly. That's my whole point. A man give willingly.

Speaker 1: Not because you're expected to give, not because you're forced

Speaker 1: or taking note of what you give, or have a

Speaker 1: record of what you give. None of that. Give willingly

Speaker 1: scriptures is like, if you sew sparently, you will reap sparently.

Speaker 1: So I want to sew an abundance to people's lives

Speaker 1: because guess what, I want them to reap a harvest.

Speaker 1: people others to reap a harvest. I think that's why

Speaker 1: my finances are weird, Right, Sometimes I have sometimes I don't.
