- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Hey, y'all, welcome to the Almost Famous Podcast. Today we
- 0:09Speaker 2: have Victoria Larson joining us. She was on our podcast
- 0:12Speaker 2: back in December, but it well, first off, you may
- 0:17Speaker 2: remember her from Matt James this season. She was the
- 0:19Speaker 2: quote villain and she was here in December talking about
- 0:22Speaker 2: her stint on the House of Villains on E and
- 0:25Speaker 2: now we wanted to have her back to talk about
- 0:27Speaker 2: Matt James since you know, he's been a hot topic
- 0:29Speaker 2: lately and specifically this TikTok that she released about Bachelor
- 0:35Speaker 2: production manipulating her.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Okay, I did, thank you for having me, and yeah,
- 0:42Speaker 1: I just post on my TikTok so casually without thinking,
- 0:45Speaker 1: and then I'm like, oops, people are watching. Does that
- 0:48Speaker 1: happen to you? Guys like you forget?
- 0:50Speaker 3: No, I never forget. I'm scared of all oil post
- 0:54Speaker 3: I never I never do anything. I'm overthoughtful about it. Yeah,
- 0:59Speaker 3: I will say this.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Ben was talking about how not just how one of
- 1:06Speaker 2: our closest executive producers seems to be on the outs
- 1:11Speaker 2: this month, but a lot basically anyone that we knew
- 1:16Speaker 2: from our time on the Bachelor might be gone after
- 1:19Speaker 2: I heard that this coming finale, and I have then
- 1:24Speaker 2: zero ties and no one to I don't care about
- 1:30Speaker 2: talking as much if there's nobody there that I truly
- 1:34Speaker 2: care about out of you, not that they I really
- 1:37Speaker 2: have much tea to spill, but like if I and
- 1:40Speaker 2: especially not about my experience. However, if I see certain
- 1:44Speaker 2: things now watching the show, like, I'll feel a little
- 1:47Speaker 2: bit more free to comment.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Well, and I'm glad you say like your experience too,
- 1:50Speaker 1: because whenever people ask me like, oh, how is it
- 1:52Speaker 1: on the Bachelor, I'm like, well, my experience was this,
- 1:56Speaker 1: Like each person has a totally different experience, so right,
- 2:00Speaker 1: But yeah, and I've seen things going around now like
- 2:02Speaker 1: some girl, you know, whoever was the villain this year
- 2:07Speaker 1: kind of went through the ringer, but I haven't followed.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Enough so I have. I kind of want to go
- 2:12Speaker 3: into the psychological sides of your TikTok okay because when
- 2:19Speaker 3: and I could be wrong, I want to talk this
- 2:21Speaker 3: through with you because I want to try to get
- 2:23Speaker 3: to an understanding of how somebody becomes a villain. I
- 2:25Speaker 3: think we talked in December about the villain on my
- 2:28Speaker 3: season was Olivia creedy, and I think it was very
- 2:31Speaker 3: unfair to her, just not who she is. And but you, okay,
- 2:38Speaker 3: so you said you were manipulated, I think to be
- 2:40Speaker 3: the villain because you wanted screen time. If I remember
- 2:44Speaker 3: in December, though, you kind of own that, you like
- 2:47Speaker 3: kind of own the screen time idea that you like
- 2:50Speaker 3: to be on TV. You obviously agree to go on
- 2:53Speaker 3: House of Villains with the title of villains. And so
- 2:56Speaker 3: I want to get an understanding of why this TikTok
- 3:00Speaker 3: came out.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Now, well, okay, maybe manipulated is a strong word, but
- 3:07Speaker 1: it wasn't meant in a malicious way. It's just it
- 3:14Speaker 1: was a TikTok trend. Like I just threw something up.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Manipulated was a TikTok trend.
- 3:20Speaker 1: No, Like the trend was the sound, and then you
- 3:23Speaker 1: put it with like like the trend was you're so funny,
- 3:28Speaker 1: here's a horrible experience I went through, and like, you know,
- 3:32Speaker 1: that was the trend. So yeah, I think that's why
- 3:35Speaker 1: I put it up. And I think as in December
- 3:39Speaker 1: when I was on House Civilians, I was embracing that role,
- 3:43Speaker 1: rolling with the punches, and I don't know, it just
- 3:48Speaker 1: wasn't a serious TikTok and then it got a little
- 3:49Speaker 1: bit blown up.
- 3:51Speaker 3: Okay, so that this helps, so you this wasn't kind
- 3:56Speaker 3: of a tell all. Let's it's wild timing. So I
- 4:01Speaker 3: think the audience is watching this in San Okay, Victoria
- 4:05Speaker 3: or calling them out at a time when articles are
- 4:08Speaker 3: getting released. Yeah, exactly that it's an unhealthy idea.
- 4:12Speaker 1: I actually do live under a rock with the Bachelor stuff,
- 4:17Speaker 1: like I'm not tuned in. It's I saw the Matt
- 4:20Speaker 1: and Rachel think from Call Her Daddy, but like Bachelor news,
- 4:24Speaker 1: I really I'm not tuned in.
- 4:27Speaker 3: Okay, So let me update you because I want to
- 4:29Speaker 3: get your thoughts now about at the same time that
- 4:32Speaker 3: your TikTok came out, they pretty much are well. The
- 4:37Speaker 3: executive producers the Bachelor have now left. They are no
- 4:40Speaker 3: longer working on the show. And when Ashley said there's
- 4:43Speaker 3: nobody really on the show that you would know in
- 4:46Speaker 3: terms of production, that is going to probably become a
- 4:50Speaker 3: very true statement. In a week. We don't know how
- 4:54Speaker 3: many people have been let go or have left.
- 4:56Speaker 1: I heard of that because one of my producers from
- 4:59Speaker 1: How Civilians It's now doing Paradise, So like I hear
- 5:02Speaker 1: talks about it, but I didn't know there was like
- 5:04Speaker 1: articles like I just know private conversations.
- 5:07Speaker 3: So it's great timing, and I thought that would my
- 5:10Speaker 3: questions were leading into. I thought this was maybe a
- 5:12Speaker 3: time where you said, Okay, if staff is speaking up
- 5:15Speaker 3: about an unhealthy working environment, maybe I will speak up
- 5:19Speaker 3: about my experience on the show and let people know
- 5:22Speaker 3: what it's like to be a cast member who is
- 5:25Speaker 3: cast or at least produced to be a villain.
- 5:28Speaker 1: No, actually not at all, like complete coincidence, like she
- 5:32Speaker 1: was just doing a trend.
- 5:33Speaker 3: Guess.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I was wondering why it went viral, But now
- 5:36Speaker 1: it makes sense. I had done pilates with someone, so
- 5:42Speaker 1: since we last talked, I was going to get back
- 5:45Speaker 1: into aviation. I randomly got back into pilates. Was coaching
- 5:48Speaker 1: a client and I'm like, yeah, none of my things
- 5:50Speaker 1: go viral, and he does marketing. He's like, well, you
- 5:53Speaker 1: have to comment back to people to like boost the algorithm.
- 5:56Speaker 1: So I thought that's why. Still had no idea until
- 5:59Speaker 1: you guys just told me. But that makes sense.
- 6:03Speaker 3: Well it's your reaction then, I mean, you just found
- 6:05Speaker 3: out that it went viral because it was a great video.
- 6:08Speaker 3: I don't want to take it away from you that
- 6:11Speaker 3: it wasn't a viral worthy video, but now that you
- 6:13Speaker 3: know the context at which it was posted and you're
- 6:16Speaker 3: finding this out in real time, I would love to
- 6:18Speaker 3: hear your real time thoughts on how this is all looking.
- 6:23Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know. I guess change is always inevitable,
- 6:29Speaker 1: and I believe change is good. And I think that I, personally,
- 6:34Speaker 1: as a viewer of TV, don't enjoy toxic drama anymore.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Like I used to love The Housewives, I can't even
- 6:40Speaker 1: watch it anymore. I don't feel good after watching that
- 6:43Speaker 1: type of show. And I do know a lot of
- 6:45Speaker 1: the comments I got were, you know, like you're taking
- 6:50Speaker 1: away from Matt's love story, And I think when people
- 6:52Speaker 1: watch The Bachelor, they want to see love stories, they
- 6:54Speaker 1: don't necessarily want the drama. Although on the contrary, there's
- 6:59Speaker 1: other people that are like, we only watch for you,
- 7:01Speaker 1: we love the drama. So it's hard to say, but
- 7:03Speaker 1: I think that this next generation is a very positive
- 7:08Speaker 1: place and so like they probably just want a more
- 7:14Speaker 1: love story TV show rather than drama.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Well that that's very nice. Considering we were crapping on
- 7:20Speaker 2: Gens yesterday, we were like they don't have I don't
- 7:24Speaker 2: know how to have conversations.
- 7:26Speaker 1: That they don't, but I still think they like good vibes.
- 7:29Speaker 3: And that's true.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Yes, yes, yes, And you know you have two young boys,
- 7:34Speaker 1: so you'll want them to grow up in like a
- 7:36Speaker 1: more positive, loving universe. And I think because I even
- 7:40Speaker 1: thought about it, like one of my pilates instructors is
- 7:44Speaker 1: like this gay guy and he's fabulous, but he's like
- 7:48Speaker 1: he's saying, how like the old school gays were much
- 7:50Speaker 1: more catty, And I mean gay friends now are like
- 7:54Speaker 1: fabulous and kind, and I think a lot of society
- 7:58Speaker 1: is moving towards that.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Good.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Well, I'm glad that you have this. Meant that's very
- 8:02Speaker 2: that's very sweet. And I do feel like you were
- 8:06Speaker 2: putting on a show a little bit during Matt James'
- 8:09Speaker 2: season and you said that, But there.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Are elements of both, Like I was putting on a
- 8:13Speaker 1: show in some regard because like I said, like I'm
- 8:16Speaker 1: rolling with the punches, but there were parts of it
- 8:19Speaker 1: where I was like young, it was my first time
- 8:21Speaker 1: on set, and like there were elements where I was misled.
- 8:24Speaker 1: And I think what people aren't understanding is they think
- 8:27Speaker 1: it's either black or white, like were you manipulated or
- 8:30Speaker 1: were you this? And it's like combo, there was some
- 8:33Speaker 1: gray area.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Well, yeah, it's definitely kind of a paradox overlay that
- 8:37Speaker 2: you have on top of this TikTok because you said
- 8:39Speaker 2: you were manipulated into being the villain because you wanted airtime,
- 8:43Speaker 2: and it entertained during COVID when everything was canceled culture.
- 8:47Speaker 2: So basically you're saying like, I maybe wasn't so manipulated
- 8:51Speaker 2: because I wanted to go along with things that were spicy.
- 8:56Speaker 1: I guess the manipulation was I did not realize the
- 9:00Speaker 1: edit kind of.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Well, you didn't know that scary music would go behind
- 9:04Speaker 2: what you were saying and make it sound way more
- 9:07Speaker 2: evil than it really was supposed to be.
- 9:09Speaker 1: And even when I was talking to Katie, this popped
- 9:12Speaker 1: up on my TikTok the other day. When I had
- 9:13Speaker 1: the conversation with Katie. I do remember that specifically, they
- 9:17Speaker 1: were like, you can't go to bed until you talk
- 9:20Speaker 1: to Katie. I didn't want to talk to Katie. So
- 9:23Speaker 1: I mean, if that's not manipulation, I don't know what
- 9:25Speaker 1: it is. But it's also then people say you have
- 9:29Speaker 1: free will, which is true. So then when I went
- 9:31Speaker 1: to Paradise, I learned, oh, I can say no, Like
- 9:34Speaker 1: I didn't know that my first time. I really didn't.
- 9:38Speaker 1: So that's where I say like it was manipulated because
- 9:42Speaker 1: in the Crown like that was not my original idea
- 9:46Speaker 1: and I was like, I would never do that, and
- 9:50Speaker 1: they were like, just do it, it'll be funny. So
- 9:52Speaker 1: like things like that. I mean, I don't know if
- 9:54Speaker 1: manipulation is the best word or if it's like, you know,
- 9:59Speaker 1: what would you say? Say is a word to describe
- 10:01Speaker 1: that situation? I don't know.
- 10:03Speaker 3: I mean mine would be at a time. And this
- 10:07Speaker 3: is not a hit to you. It's easily influenced.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Oh for sure.
- 10:11Speaker 3: I was, Yeah, you didn't know. I mean it's a
- 10:14Speaker 3: wild statement, in a powerful statement a lot of ways.
- 10:17Speaker 3: And I think one that a lot of people going
- 10:19Speaker 3: on the show would make is I didn't know I
- 10:23Speaker 3: could say no, which is a very which isn't like
- 10:27Speaker 3: I don't want to say this and say that like
- 10:30Speaker 3: no isn't a reasonable response. They might not like it.
- 10:33Speaker 3: They might get pushy.
- 10:35Speaker 1: You might have to say no like five times.
- 10:37Speaker 3: You also may not get as far. Yeah exactly, I
- 10:41Speaker 3: wouldn't say yeah. I mean I would say that, you know,
- 10:45Speaker 3: I said no many times. You know, there's especially as
- 10:49Speaker 3: a lead.
- 10:50Speaker 1: But they'll still test you like you have to be
- 10:52Speaker 1: so firm you. I really do believe, like when you
- 10:54Speaker 1: go on that show, you have to know who you are.
- 10:57Speaker 1: And when I went on that show, it was like
- 11:00Speaker 1: I was young living in La, which now that I
- 11:02Speaker 1: moved back to LA, I see how much I've grown
- 11:05Speaker 1: and how stable I am. But LA is kind of
- 11:08Speaker 1: a place where you can lose your identity a little bit.
- 11:11Speaker 1: So I was in that situation and then went on
- 11:14Speaker 1: the show. Yeah, I was definitely very easily influenced.
- 11:29Speaker 3: There's a few things in the comments of your TikTok.
- 11:31Speaker 3: And then I want to move on to your House
- 11:32Speaker 3: of Villains choice, because I do think it very much
- 11:35Speaker 3: relates to this TikTok in the sense that you don't
- 11:38Speaker 3: want to be the villain, but you went on a
- 11:40Speaker 3: show full of villains.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Well yeah, and they said they said on House of Villains,
- 11:46Speaker 1: like you can show that you're not a villain. So
- 11:48Speaker 1: it was kind of like my redemption that Paradise didn't
- 11:51Speaker 1: give me.
- 11:52Speaker 2: You and Kurran both really not villains.
- 11:55Speaker 1: No, Karin's so not a villain, She's just hilarious.
- 11:58Speaker 3: You said quote in your Tiko talk that said this
- 12:01Speaker 3: was the worst experience of your life.
- 12:03Speaker 1: I think that was like really old.
- 12:06Speaker 3: Yeah it was twenty one, okay, but it's still you
- 12:10Speaker 3: said it. It's out there and it's it's getting pulled
- 12:12Speaker 3: back in articles because of this video. Do you still
- 12:16Speaker 3: stand by that, Like, looking back now and you have
- 12:18Speaker 3: had this House of Villains show paradise, maybe you'd say
- 12:24Speaker 3: yes to Paradise again if they asked, is it still
- 12:27Speaker 3: the worst experience of your life? Or have you had
- 12:29Speaker 3: a different perspective now?
- 12:32Speaker 1: So the filming wasn't the worst experience of my life,
- 12:35Speaker 1: but all the online hate afterwards, I will absolutely say
- 12:38Speaker 1: still that was the worst experience of my life. I've
- 12:41Speaker 1: never experienced that type of magnitude of hate. It was
- 12:44Speaker 1: such a st stressful time and like, yeah, I mean
- 12:50Speaker 1: I couldn't even go on Twitter. It was just like
- 12:52Speaker 1: memes hate. That was horrible. That was definitely the worst
- 12:56Speaker 1: experience of my life. But I do think life has
- 12:59Speaker 1: good and bad for us to grow, So I'm not
- 13:03Speaker 1: like resentful that it happened.
- 13:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I remember when that was happening to you. You
- 13:10Speaker 3: had spoken out, and I think it was probably in
- 13:12Speaker 3: relation to the same thing I just brought up. And
- 13:15Speaker 3: it's always important for us. And I think I don't
- 13:20Speaker 3: want to just say reality television. I think it's in
- 13:21Speaker 3: general sports, you know, coworkers, whatever life is, you know,
- 13:28Speaker 3: surrounding you with the hate is is so unnecessary. It
- 13:31Speaker 3: doesn't do anything good. And I think it's always a
- 13:34Speaker 3: good reminder, especially in this situation, that like, you're a
- 13:37Speaker 3: real person reading this and it's affecting you deeply. But
- 13:44Speaker 3: I guess the thing that happens there is you probably
- 13:47Speaker 3: start to question yourself in a thousand different ways. When
- 13:49Speaker 3: you're reading these things. You're probably getting pretty down on
- 13:51Speaker 3: yourself and also super sad. Yeah, but you're watching this
- 13:57Speaker 3: on television at the same time. Did you feel like
- 14:00Speaker 3: you there was any accurate portrayal of you on television
- 14:03Speaker 3: or do you feel like you're watching a stranger the
- 14:07Speaker 3: whole time?
- 14:08Speaker 1: No, And even my friends who watched it were like,
- 14:11Speaker 1: I don't know that girl, Like I don't know. So
- 14:13Speaker 1: I think The Bachelor can be very one dimensional. I mean,
- 14:17Speaker 1: if you compare it to other reality shows, these girls
- 14:20Speaker 1: are given one season, they're given one character thing, whereas
- 14:26Speaker 1: even on How Civillains Like, they showed more dimensions, more sides.
- 14:30Speaker 1: So I think that was an issue as well. It
- 14:32Speaker 1: was like I was just boxed in as the villain
- 14:35Speaker 1: and like they didn't show any other moments you know
- 14:38Speaker 1: that I had. So yeah, I don't think it accurately
- 14:42Speaker 1: portrayed me at all.
- 14:44Speaker 3: So you would say you were you were more of
- 14:46Speaker 3: a villain on The Bachelor than you were in the
- 14:48Speaker 3: House of Villains, Is that true?
- 14:52Speaker 1: Yeah? I think so, because how Civillains like, they show
- 14:56Speaker 1: more sides of you. They show when you're silly, they
- 14:58Speaker 1: show when you're kind I mean, do they show kindness,
- 15:02Speaker 1: I don't know, but they just have more overall, whereas,
- 15:05Speaker 1: like you know, even on The Bachelor, when you were
- 15:08Speaker 1: there that day, like me and Brie were like throwing
- 15:10Speaker 1: the leaves up, having fun, and like they don't show
- 15:13Speaker 1: any of that. They just show storylines that they want.
- 15:18Speaker 1: I don't know. It's a different.
- 15:19Speaker 3: Experience that's interesting. So yeah, would you you don't regret
- 15:23Speaker 3: the House of going on House of Villains? Then No?
- 15:26Speaker 2: I loved House of Villains And how was that produced differently?
- 15:30Speaker 2: How was it, like, you know, how was productions handed
- 15:33Speaker 2: at all?
- 15:33Speaker 1: I never saw a production and that's what we're talking
- 15:36Speaker 1: about yesterday. So I remember. Yeah. I even asked Wes
- 15:40Speaker 1: because he had done Real World, and I was like, wait,
- 15:43Speaker 1: is this normal, like we never see producers and he's like, yeah,
- 15:46Speaker 1: I'm like Bachelor, I was with them all the time,
- 15:49Speaker 1: So that was different for me. It was more real
- 15:54Speaker 1: conversations because you're like meshed in with these people. For me,
- 15:58Speaker 1: like my experience oftentimes on Bachelor, like they would make
- 16:03Speaker 1: us have a conversation. I guess the difference is too.
- 16:06Speaker 1: On Bachelor it's like all New Girls, and then how
- 16:09Speaker 1: Civilians it's like all stars, Like these people know how
- 16:13Speaker 1: to make a TV show, know what to do, and
- 16:17Speaker 1: you know some of them are in their own characters
- 16:19Speaker 1: a lot of the time.
- 16:20Speaker 2: But characters. So would you say that they have like
- 16:23Speaker 2: a mask on, like they are playing a role.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Definitely, Candy the drag queen like puts on a show.
- 16:31Speaker 1: But yeah, and Safari too. Safari likes to act. He's
- 16:34Speaker 1: never serious.
- 16:36Speaker 3: TV is obviously something that you've thrived in. I mean,
- 16:40Speaker 3: you know, guys like it or not. Your villain character
- 16:44Speaker 3: has you know, helled you into new opportunities. I don't
- 16:49Speaker 3: like the hate.
- 16:49Speaker 1: You know, have exciting news. I'm doing a movie like
- 16:53Speaker 1: the end of April May, so I'm so excited.
- 16:56Speaker 3: I'm like, yes, tell us, more like, can you tell
- 16:58Speaker 3: us anything?
- 17:00Speaker 1: I'm kind of just playing the hot, dumb girl, which
- 17:02Speaker 1: is better than the villain. Okay, we're moving up. What
- 17:07Speaker 1: kind of movie is it. It's kind of a drama,
- 17:10Speaker 1: but then my role is like funny, congrats, thank you.
- 17:24Speaker 3: So my whole point to this and where I want
- 17:27Speaker 3: to go with this interview is you are a villain
- 17:31Speaker 3: on the Bachelor. It's propelled you in to these new opportunities.
- 17:34Speaker 3: The hate and the online you know noise is really hard,
- 17:40Speaker 3: especially when you're new to this. I think it, you
- 17:44Speaker 3: know today, like if it happened, it would still affect me,
- 17:47Speaker 3: but it wouldn't paralyze me maybe like it used to
- 17:50Speaker 3: back in the back when this was so new.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Mm hmm.
- 17:54Speaker 3: You go on House of Villains, you enjoy that experience.
- 17:57Speaker 3: And so where I want this to go is you
- 18:00Speaker 3: have now kind of owned this villainous character in some way,
- 18:05Speaker 3: You're more confident, you're getting into acting, You're staying out
- 18:07Speaker 3: there in the spotlight. So for anybody in upcoming seasons
- 18:11Speaker 3: of The Bachelor or in reality television in general, and
- 18:16Speaker 3: they have this villain title thrown to them, what would
- 18:20Speaker 3: you tell them as advice to help them get through
- 18:24Speaker 3: that season as they feel like they're watching themselves on
- 18:28Speaker 3: television and it's not really them.
- 18:30Speaker 1: First of all, I would say it would have been
- 18:32Speaker 1: easier to go a different route. I just ran with
- 18:35Speaker 1: the villain thing because I had to anyone going through it,
- 18:39Speaker 1: I would say, this too shall pass, you know, and
- 18:44Speaker 1: like just try and go with the cards that were
- 18:47Speaker 1: dealt to you and know your worth and know that's
- 18:51Speaker 1: not who you really are and that it can still
- 18:54Speaker 1: be a stepping stone onto the next part of your
- 18:58Speaker 1: life and just not get stuck in that. And also,
- 19:03Speaker 1: my dad gave me the advice to just like maintain
- 19:06Speaker 1: a neutral platform because it's like when people were like
- 19:09Speaker 1: the Queen, I was getting really high and they're like, whatever,
- 19:13Speaker 1: you get really low. So just kind of like don't
- 19:15Speaker 1: listen to anything like good or bad because none of
- 19:18Speaker 1: these people know you.
- 19:19Speaker 3: If it makes you feel any better. There's probably two
- 19:22Speaker 3: cast members from Matt James's season that I could remember
- 19:25Speaker 3: off the top of my head, and you would be
- 19:26Speaker 3: one of them.
- 19:27Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a pro You'll be memorable.
- 19:30Speaker 3: Yeah, you're memorable. So sure if Paradise calls, I don't
- 19:36Speaker 3: know would you go. I mean, obviously you've had a
- 19:41Speaker 3: rocky road, but Paradise was better for you than the Bachelor.
- 19:43Speaker 3: You said, yeah, I.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Would maybe do it. And there's new producers now, so
- 19:51Speaker 1: it could be a cool experience.
- 19:53Speaker 3: Okay.
- 19:54Speaker 2: And you had a feud with Katie Thurston on Matt
- 19:58Speaker 2: Jams season. Have have you talked to her at all recently?
- 20:02Speaker 1: Her and I have kept in touch, but not like consistently.
- 20:06Speaker 1: But I saw like she's going through something crazy. Did
- 20:10Speaker 1: you see she posted like she has breast cancer, so
- 20:13Speaker 1: hopefully she was doing okay. I don't correspond with her,
- 20:16Speaker 1: but we're like fine.
- 20:18Speaker 2: And then Mad James, so yeah, he's a single man. Now,
- 20:23Speaker 2: I'm assuming that you wouldn't want to go after that though, No.
- 20:27Speaker 1: That he's definitely like not on my list at all.
- 20:32Speaker 2: What was your take on the breakup and how it
- 20:34Speaker 2: was so sudden.
- 20:35Speaker 1: I mean, I watched Rachel's interview. I feel bad for her.
- 20:39Speaker 1: We've all gone through that type of relationship and Matt
- 20:45Speaker 1: like I feel bad for him too, Like I don't
- 20:47Speaker 1: think anyone deserves like online hate. I was surprised actually
- 20:51Speaker 1: she went on a podcast. I guess she wanted to
- 20:54Speaker 1: have her side of the story out, But I mean
- 20:59Speaker 1: I would love to hear I'm on a podcast and
- 21:01Speaker 1: hear his side.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Too, well, Matt James, You're welcome to come on our podcast.
- 21:06Speaker 3: Would love that.
- 21:07Speaker 2: I think he's actually gonna stay quiet about this breakup though,
- 21:10Speaker 2: I think he knows that's what's probably best for him,
- 21:13Speaker 2: being that Rachel is really to steal your title living
- 21:16Speaker 2: a queen lifestyle right now, Like this girl is seen Rachel,
- 21:20Speaker 2: We're like bound down to her.
- 21:21Speaker 1: She looks fabulous. Yeah, but it's also like, remember the
- 21:26Speaker 1: media did that with like, uh, what was it the
- 21:29Speaker 1: vander Pump, Like the scandabal like Marianna really took off,
- 21:33Speaker 1: and like, I mean, did you guys watch what was it? Traders?
- 21:39Speaker 1: With Tom Traders is hilarious? Well, Tom was hilarious on
- 21:45Speaker 1: that show. And it's like, as we were talking about earlier,
- 21:48Speaker 1: like everyone's a human being reading these comments. So whether
- 21:51Speaker 1: someone has a breakup or cheats or makes a mistake
- 21:54Speaker 1: or you know, like that's their own business. But we
- 21:57Speaker 1: live in a day and age where the whole Internet
- 22:00Speaker 1: just dissect it, which is insane.
- 22:03Speaker 3: Yeah, I would. I would just say though, if you
- 22:05Speaker 3: sign up for multiple reality television shows, you're putting yourself
- 22:09Speaker 3: out there for praise and criticism. If you like definitely
- 22:14Speaker 3: don't want it, you don't do it.
- 22:16Speaker 2: And what Jared always says is if you are not
- 22:19Speaker 2: being talked about, well then you're probably like kind of boring.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Well, guys, that's why I posted the TikTok like I
- 22:26Speaker 1: am irrelevant, So I'm like, I didn't know it would
- 22:29Speaker 1: go viral, Like I just post on there chilling living
- 22:32Speaker 1: my life like post me and my dog hiking like
- 22:34Speaker 1: it's it was not that deep and it was kind
- 22:37Speaker 1: of scary, to be honest.
- 22:38Speaker 3: It's it's it was. It was great timing unbeknownst to you,
- 22:44Speaker 3: Which is one of the most like comedic takeaways from
- 22:48Speaker 3: This Time with You today is that you had no
- 22:50Speaker 3: clue that at the same time that you're calling out
- 22:53Speaker 3: the show, the show is calling out themselves with mass
- 22:56Speaker 3: mass exodus and and the show will look very different. Now, Victor,
- 23:03Speaker 3: you got to look into this. This is this is happening.
- 23:06Speaker 3: Staff is leaving. We don't know what the Bachelor's going
- 23:09Speaker 3: to look like in a year or who's going to
- 23:12Speaker 3: be running it, and so your TikTok was wildly good
- 23:17Speaker 3: timing for you not planning it.
- 23:20Speaker 1: I'm in alignment still with Bachelor Nation.
- 23:23Speaker 3: It's right you somehow get it, Victoria. Next time you
- 23:28Speaker 3: have a big TikTok, come back on, let's talk about it.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Thank you for having me.
- 23:33Speaker 3: Yeah, and we wish you the best. We'll be tuning
- 23:37Speaker 3: into this movie announcement. It's a big deal. Congratulations. And
- 23:41Speaker 3: then also if you get the phone call for Paradise
- 23:44Speaker 3: and if you say yes, we would love to see it.
- 23:48Speaker 3: One more redemption story for Victoria Larson. Until next time,
- 23:51Speaker 3: I've been been.
- 23:52Speaker 2: I've been Ashley, Victoria, last time, I was scared to
- 23:55Speaker 2: talk to you this time.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Thank You're so nice. Goodbye bye to Ben and Ashley.
