I am your host, Jester Dooms. Today is Wednesday, October 7th, 2026. Good morning. Good morning, producer scooter. The email, Doom Daily Show at gmail.com, everywhere on social media at Jester Dooms. The website, www.jestersvoice.com. You've made it to hump day. I I've also made it to Humpton. What a week it has been. Man, I'll tell you, there's just like things flying in from every direction. Okay. And it it's been kind of one of those information overload weeks. It's kind of what's been going on. And I'm over here like trying to set trying to set pace. Okay. If you don't know what set pace means, ask anybody that's been in in any kind of racing, race cars, motocross, dirt track. Supercross, Arena Cross, drag not drag racing, but just everything else. I'm trying to set the pace. Okay. And what set the pace basically means in in the racing world is you're taking control of the track and you are setting the pace that everybody else is racing at. Okay. I guess like horse track could be considered the same too, right? I I guess. Anyway, so I've got all these things going on. There's the potential sale of this this neighboring property that we're trying to pick up. There's all the work we're doing down at, you know, on the homestead. There's all these things happening, and I'm trying to stay out ahead of the I guess workload, trying to stay ahead of it of all these things that are happening. Anyway, so I as promised, I told you guys I was gonna tell you about the the electric chainsaws we picked up, the ego chainsaws versus the Milwaukee chainsaws. So First and foremost, I will say I think I like the ego better than the Milwaukee. Okay. It is it it's more heavy duty. It eats more, right? It's got an automatic shutoff when it starts bogging just like everything else does. And that's by design so electric motors don't burn out. But at the end of the day, I I ran these saws and I was like, man, I got through these batteries like really quick. Like I burn up these batteries really quick. And then so I was running a s a 7.5 amp and a 6.0 battery. I burned through the 6.0 after cutting up one tree, and I was like, wow, that's pretty, it's pretty insane. Drop another tree, switch out to the other battery, cut the whole tree up. Much bigger, thicker, heavier tree on the 7.5 amp hour battery. And then I threw the batteries on the charger. pulled out the Milwaukee. The Milwaukee was three quarters of the way full. I maybe did like twenty minutes, not consistently, but 20 minutes in total of cutting on a pretty thick, heavy tree. And I noticed this saw doesn't, you know, it's not eating like the other saw eats. And then before I know it, that battery's dead. I switch out to the other one. I keep cutting and I overheat the battery. And it's like I did not get the job done with this saw. Now, granted, I've got two of the Milwaukee saws, so I kind of just switch them out and grab an extra battery and do this, that, the other. Like I make it work. I push through it. But with the ego, it's like you don't really have to do that. That saw fucking eats, man. So if you're in the market for an electric saw, I would, I would highly recommend the Ego. there's a ton of unumither other manufacturers out there that I would like to try. Like I've I've really been interested, and we have them at work. I haven't got to try them yet, but I've been really interested in trying. The Greenworks. I've been really interested in trying the Makita. and now I'm kind of like inclined to maybe try these ones they have down at Harbor Freight as well. So we will see what transpires. We will see what happens if we get to experiment with any more electric saws. But it's got me really thinking about converting a lot of the things I have over to the egosystem. If we pick up the neighboring property to us, I I'm clear cutting the majority of it. And it's mainly so I could have a much nicer, bigger front yard. Basically I would get a nice, nice little field, right? And there is the thought like I have this zero turn now that I really want to get out from underneath. I mean it works. I use it. It's just I don't really want to hang on to it forever. Like I want to get something different here at some point. But this is the ingenious thing is ego sells a riding lawnmower that takes six Freaking batteries and this thing will cut an acre and a half of land off one charge. Now, the beauty of this is it's like a lawn tractor, so you can tow with it as well. And I'm not saying I'm going to do all this crazy stuff, but my wife will not touch the ATV, won't touch the side-by-side, won't, she won't touch any of this stuff. But she may be inclined to hit a power button on a lawnmower, riding lawnmower, and tow the little wagon around to like go do some gardening. She might be inclined to do that. Like get soil out of the back of her SUV, throw it in this little wagon and tote it around with the lawnmower. Like she might be inclined to do that. I don't know. So it could prove beneficial, but one of the b the best parts is the lawnmower comes with all the batteries, right? For a few hundred bucks, maybe closer to 400 bucks, you can buy a 1400 watt solar generator kit that utilizes the ego batteries. So it's like power's out. fuck, pop the lawnmower batteries out, slap them on the shit. Put the solar panel on it, boom, I've got a solar generator out of the ecosystem. So I don't know, it's it's a pretty cool system. Anyway, that's all I gotta say about that. We'll be back right after these messages. Producer Scooter, would you be so kind? Yes, yes. I fuck with you today. All right. So we got a bunch of things happening in the media right now, and I don't really know which one to start with. let's let's go here. Let's go here. Okay. Trump approves fiery and squad execution for Fort Hood gunman Nadal Hassan. Or it's Nidal. Nidal. We're gonna go with Nidal. this is by Kimberly Hayek on the Epic Times. Excuse me, President Donald Trump has approved a firing squad execution for convicted terrorist Nidell Malik Hassan, who was sentenced to death for the 2009 Fort Hood massacre at a Pentagon official said Monday. A Pentagon official said Monday. U.S. born Hassan killed 13 people and an unborn child and wounded 32 others during the Islamic terror attack at the Army base in Texas. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth recommended the execution. Which is to be carried out by U.S. Army Firing Squad. Pentagon spokesperson Sean Per Parnell said in a statement on X. Now, imagine being a part of the US military and being selected for that. That's fucking wild. And I don't know much about how this stuff works. Like I I I don't. So are these guys do they just like randomly select military members for this? Producer Scooter, help me out here. I'm sure you know. Or do they have guys that are already working at these facilitary facilities that they just get selected at work like, hey, we need, you know, ten volunteers to go out and pull the trigger tomorrow and just you sign your name on a sheet and they come find you and like, hey man, it's time, grab your grab your weapon. now I personally think that this execution should be a public one. I do. I think that this should be fucking televised. I keep saying we need to bring back public execution. to reinstill consequences and fear within people in this nation. Okay. Parnell describes the victims of the shooting as unarmed American soldiers in a post on X, in a post on X following Parnell's announcement, Hegseth wrote justice. The Secretary of the Army will set the time and place of the execution, Parnell said. Also, it has not been, there has not been a selected date yet for this execution. At the time of the shooting, Hassan was a U.S. Army major and psychiatrist stationed at Fort Hood. He was convicted on all thirteen counts of premeditated murder and thirty-two counts of attempted premeditated murder by a military jury in August 2013 and sentenced to death. So he's been sitting on death row for 13 years. Hassan has since remained on the military's death row in the U.S. disciplinary barracks at Fort Leavenworth, Texas. He would be the first U.S. military death row. To be executed by the military since 1961. In April this year, the Department of Justice authorized firing squad execution and gassing as means of execution in federal cases. After the terror attack, nine soldiers were punished in March of 2011 for failing to act on warning signs exhibited by Hassan. An Army statement at the time said: although no single event directly led to the tragedy at Fort Hood. Certain officers clearly failed to meet the high standards expected of their profession. A Senate report weeks earlier had cited what Hassan's superiors saw and did not act on. During his medical residency and fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, evidence of Hassan's drift toward violent Islamic extremism was on full display, according to the Senate Homeland Security and Government Governmental Affairs Committee report. Two officers called him a ticking time bomb, according to the report released in February 2011. At various times at the center of the report, he said Hassan suggested revenge might be a defense for the September 11th terror attacks, expressed sympathy with violent Islamic extremists and Osama bin Laden and justified suicide bombers. He also allegedly said U.S. military operations represented a war against Islam. And that one risk of having Muslims in the U.S. military was a fellow service service members. The report said that his superiors took no punitive action and found that the officers who had kept Hassan in the military and moved him steadily along knew full well of his problematic behavior. And that the officer who assigned him to Fort Hood and later decided to deploy him to Afghanistan told an officer there, You're getting our worst. So there you go. That's the that's a story on that. I mean, you know, I death penalty, yes. Firing squad, sure. You know, I remember it was a couple years ago. There was I believe I believe it was South Carolina that said they were gonna bring back the firing squad due to lack of the required methods. I I guess they were short on what they needed for lethal injection, short on what they needed for the gas chamber, and thought that bringing back the firing squad would be a better alternative. They're not executing people in masses. Why are there's why there's a shortage on these things and why they advertise a shortage of these things, I don't know, but that's really freaking odd, in my opinion. but no, bring back the firing squad and make public executions a thing. That's just how I feel about that. When when you talk about the warning signs of an individual, it's really hard to gauge where they're at mentally without a psychiatry degree. We say things in passing all the time, like, man, I'd really like to kick the boss in the balls, man. He fucking sucks. But do we ever walk into the boss's office and be like, hey, what's up, man? And just, you know, kick him right in the fucking man pussy? No, we don't do that. It's just we just say it, right? So it it makes you wonder if there's actual people reporting back and saying, Yeah, you could tell he was being radicalized, who failed to act? Did they take what he said seriously? Did they think he was just one of these guys that talk shit and was harmless? Because that's usually how it goes. Nobody's worried about the fucking school shooter because they seem like they couldn't harm a fly. Like, yeah, there's this weird kid in the corner that says all this goofy shit and you suspect is wrong, but you look at this kid and it's like he could barely tie his shoes. He wouldn't hurt a fly. You know, he cries during documentaries in class, like there's no way he'd have the balls to pull the trigger. And then something clicks in people one day and they fucking do. Anyway, we'll be right back after these messages. Hey, producer Scooter here. And if you've made it this far, I just want to commend you for diligent listening skills. But also, I want you to take a moment, since you've come this far with us, send an email to doomdaily show at gmail.com. Let us know where you're listening from. Why Producer Scooter, I got a question. Why does it smell like peanut butter and jelly in here? You've hid sandwiches around the studio. Why did you hide sandwiches around the studio? I ate before I came. I'm not gonna get hungry. Well, do you at least have milk to wash down these scrumptious sandwiches? Next time, have the milk and maybe some cookies. Okay. Border officers intercept large cocaine smuggling attempt in Texas by Troy Myers on the Epic Times. Guys, they got the booger sugar. Border agents in Hidgalow, Texas, recently stopped a pickup truck with hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of cocaine from entering the United States from Mexico. U.S. Customs and Border Protection CBP exclusively told the Epic Times on October's. on October 6th. The September 27th encounter was one of the latest in a record number of illegal drug seizures at the US-Mexico border and throughout the country by the agency in a single year, nearly doubling totals from prior years. CBP officers at the Hit a Hitigalo, I've never heard of this fucking town. So don't give me shit. Don't come at me in the comments section. International bridge encounter at the Black Excuse me. CBP Officers at the Hid Agalot International Bridge encountered the black pickup truck traveling north from Reynosa, Mexico. They gave it a secondary inspection with non intrusive equipment and also a canine screening. The equipment showed anomalies within the Chevrolet truck and the canine team detected the odor of narcotics. CBP agents then conducted a physical inspection and extracted 22 packages of cocaine. The illegal drugs had a combined weight of nearly 60 pounds. God man, that's a lot of booger sugar. Damn. Okay, so which would have had fet which would have fetched 798,000 in the United States, according to the agency. CBP officers impounded the vehicle in Homeland Security is Homeland Security investigation special agents launched a criminal. Probe. let's see. Our CBP officers are are always at the ready and can continue to use all available tools and technology to thwart smuggling attempts, said port director Carlos Rodriguez for the Hidgalo Far Anzales port of entry. The agency has seized a total of 867,000 pounds of illegal drugs so far in this fiscal year, 2026, which runs from October. October to September, with September's data not yet included, according to the CBP's website. For comparison, all narcotics season fiscal year 2025 totaled 583,000 pounds. In fiscal years 2024 and 2023, the amounts were lower, five hundred and seventy-three thousand and five hundred forty nine thousand pounds, respectively. Okay, so they got the Yayo. It's not coming to the party this weekend, guys. I am sorry. Sorry. But it does okay, so everything we've talked about on the show in the last past year, it does seem that they are getting the drugs. It it it is appearing to be that way, that they're getting the drugs off the streets. Okay, that's the way it seems. Now, like I said before, they're only gonna get the things they know about. Shit's still gonna come over. I mean, it it it still is. And they're gonna get more creative about getting it here. And I wouldn't You know, I wouldn't doubt if they at at some point, if they're not already fucking doing it, if they're not already doing it. I wouldn't doubt if cartels have processing plants in the US. I wouldn't doubt if they're figuring out ways to grow the plants here to make the AO. I mean, come on. We got greenhouses. We've got like all kinds of growing technology now. I mean, they could if they wanted to. The problem is you need fucking you need hundreds of that hundreds and thousands of acres to grow this crop to be profitable. I mean, you don't have a one acre farm and you know bust out keys after keys after keys every year. No, no, no, no. You need a lot of land. Anyway, we'll be back right after these messages. Need a break from reality? Well sometimes I do too. And the place I go to take that break is the Beans and Weenie Show. You can find the link at lingtree.com backslash BWD crew. The Beans and Weenie show where chaos and common sense wage war and you get a front row seat. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the Doom Daily Show. Now, this is the one I'm sure everybody's been waiting to hear about. Producer Scooter, are ready? All right, before we do, make sure everybody likes, shares, and subscribes. What is the pneumatic plague and how dangerous is it? By Jack Phillips on the Epic Times. A Russian researcher at a plague laboratory has died, and the Russian government has responded with the US State Department Tuesday calling for more transparency. Russia has not confirmed whether the laboratory worker died of plague. Attributing to death to pneumonia of unknown origin on October sixth, Secretary of State Marco Rubio called the Kremlin for more transparency. Russian officials told the World Health Organization on October 6th that there are no plague cases in in the Siberian city of Erkhurst, where the laboratory worker has died last week. A WHO official read out Russia's statement in a press briefing, and quotes, no case of this dangerous disease has been recorded in the city of Erkurst. Russian Federation HW WHO spokesperson Christian Linderman said at a Geneva press briefing on Tuesday. What is pneumatic plague? Pneumatic plague is a severe disease caused by the bacterium, Yursina, pestist, petis, pestis, which enters the lungs, according to a fact sheet on the WHO's website. Pneumatic plague is the only type of plague that can spread from person to person via bacteria. Containing droplets in the air, and it said warning that any person with pneumatic plague may transmit the disease via respiratory particles to other humans. So if someone coughs or sneezes, you're getting it. The illness can also be caused when a person has untreated bubonic or symptomic plague, which is caused by infected flea bites that can then spread to the lungs, according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Is it fatal? CDC Health officials say pneumatic plague is the most severe form of the disease. Nothing nothing that it can't intubate on in one day following inhalation of the bacteria containing droplets. If left untreated, the illness can be fatal, according to the WHO. A report published in the US National Library on Medicine in twenty twenty says that the death rate of people with untreated primary pneumatic plague is nearly one hundred percent, which is like you gotta get it treated. Like, I that's what you gotta do. However, rates are high if detected and treated. However, rates are high if detected and treated in time within 24 hours of onset symptoms, the WHO said on its website. So recovery rates are high if treated and if detected and treated within 24 hours. So if if for some reason this does make adhere to the States and you're like, shit, I'm not feeling good. Something's up. Go get fucking tested immediately so you can begin treatment. what is the difference? Bubonic sept. Septemic and pneumatic plague are caused by the Ursina pestis in their only difference between what part of the body is infected by the bacterium. The bubonic plague is caused when bacteria enters the lymph nodes after the infected flea bite. It creates swollen lymph nodes known as bubose. The bubonic form is the most common and also most survivable according to the Cleveland Clinic website. When the bacteria enters the blood, it can cause symptomatic septemic plague, which is also caused by an infected flea bite. According to the clinic, septemic plague can destroy tissue leading to organ failure. Pneumatic plague, which enters the lungs, can cause severe pneumonia. The clinic says it is less common than the other two forms. Another type of plague called pharyngenal plague is a rare infection in the throat that can occur when a person eats. Plague infected meat, according to the Cleveland Clinic. Can plague be found in the U.S.? According to the CDC, around seven cases of human plague are reported each year. On average, across the United States, most cases are reported in the western part of the country, mainly in New Mexico and Colorado. Underscoring the rarity of the infection, the CDC noted that a person to person transmission of plague hasn't been reported in the United States since 1924. In the United States, people generally get Get the bacterial infection after being bitten by an infected rodent flea or handling an infected animal, according to the CDC. Sick pets, namely cats, are also a vector for the bacterial infection. The CDC on October 1st issued a reminder to health care providers in the southwestern United States to be aware of the plague symptoms after an Arizona man died of the bacteria in 2025 after being exposed to sick cats. So I would not I wouldn't be too concerned with this yet. I guess kind of how I guess kind of how I look at it is like this. Until it's here, it's something we do not need to concern ourselves with. If you're feeling a little under the weather, go to urgent urgent care, describe your symptoms, ask if this is what it could be. Sometimes you have to volunteer. God, I can't, I can't stand like there's, you know, everybody thinks they have medical knowledge and and some people really truly do, and others they they just do not. Some doctors think they're awesome. And they're they're a bunch of fucking douchebags. Okay, so my son had a tick. I removed the tick. I had the I made sure to to not leave the head. I mean, he really latched on to my kid, like I had to take a chunk of skin out. So I remove the tick. We think everything's fine. A couple weeks later, he's getting a red ring around the bite area. And I'm like, fuck. This could be Lyme disease. Now there's there's something else that ticks care and I can't remember what it is off the top of my head, but it's either Lyme disease or the other one. Okay. All right. So What a lot of people don't know is there's not like a standard test for Lyme disease. You just if you think you got it, you fucking treat for it. Because even if you don't have it, treating for it, treating for it is not going to fuck you up. So you treat for it like they would have it, right? Okay, it's that simple. So I know a little bit about this, but wasn't too up to par. So I went back and I did did some research into it and I You know, because I want to be prepared when I go to the doctor. We go in, the doctor's looking at the bite site, and he's like, When did this happen? I'm like, he got bit two weeks ago and this just showed up. And he was like, And you said it was a tick, right? And I was like, Yeah. I was like, Can you can you do me a favor? I was like, can we just treat for the Lyme disease? And he's like, Well, we can't really test for it. So yeah, we could treat for it. He's like, I'd rather treat for it and him not need it than we don't treat it and he has it. Right. So that's what we did. But it was it was really nice that that doctor was on the same par as me, wanting to go. With the treatment plan I came up with in my head before even walking into the office. Okay. That was fucking really nice. That was fantastic. I like that a lot. Not every doctor works that way though. So when you go in, if you're having these symptoms and you're talking to your physician or you're talking to your doctor, you need to look them in the eyes and say, Hey, I'm really concerned. It could be this. I want tested for it. Where do I gotta go to do that? And if they say, well, we haven't had any cases, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, but like, I don't care. I could be the first one. I'm experiencing five of the ten symptoms. 50%'s good enough for me to want to go get tested for it. That's it. This is not that hard. Anyway, we have hit that time. producer scooter, if you would be so kind as to take us out of here and hit that button. ladies and gentlemen, make sure to like, share, and subscribe to the Doom Daily Show. Leave us a five-star review, and we will be back tomorrow for another excited episode of The Doom Daily Show. Jester wants to thank you for listening to the Doom Daily Show.
