- Lucas: Luna, welcome back to Learn Norwegian with Fexingo. Episode 111! I hope you're ready for a new verb. Luna: I think I am. Last episode we learned 'å ringe' – to call. That was useful. What's today's? Lucas: Today we're learning 'å bo' – to live. As in, where you live. Your home, your city. Luna: Oh, that's perfect. I've been wanting to say where I live in Norwegian. Can you say it? Lucas: Absolutely. First, the infinitive: 'å bo'. Say it with me: å bo. Luna: å bo. Lucas: Great. Now, 'I live in Oslo' – Jeg bor i Oslo. Luna: Jeg bor i Oslo. Lucas: Perfect. 'Jeg bor i Oslo.' Now, ask someone: 'Hvor bor du?' – Where do you live? Luna: Hvor bor du? Lucas: Exactly. So if I ask you, 'Hvor bor du?' what do you say? Luna: Jeg bor i Oslo. Lucas: You got it. Now, let's add the type of home. 'I live in an apartment' – Jeg bor i en leilighet. Luna: Jeg bor i en leilighet. That's a bit longer. Lucas: You can do it. Jeg bor i en leilighet. Luna: Jeg bor i en leilighet. Lucas: Beautiful. And 'Do you live in a house?' – Bor du i et hus? Luna: Bor du i et hus? Lucas: Yes. So if someone asks you that, you could say 'Nei, jeg bor i en leilighet.' Or 'Ja, jeg bor i et hus.' Luna: Nei, jeg bor i en leilighet. That feels good. Lucas: Now, let's practice a short dialogue. I'll ask you, and you answer. Luna: Okay, I'm ready. Lucas: Hvor bor du? Luna: Jeg bor i Oslo. Lucas: Bor du i et hus? Luna: Nei, jeg bor i en leilighet. Lucas: Perfekt! That was excellent. Luna: Tusen takk! I love that we can talk about where we live now. Lucas: You know, if Fexingo has been helping you make actual progress with Norwegian, we want to keep that going.
