- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Epstein Chronicles. Lawmakers from the Oversight Committee were able to
- 0:09take a look at some of the unredacted files that
- 0:13have been redacted by the DOJ before being released to
- 0:17the public, and as you can imagine, they found some
- 0:20issues right away. And that's because the DOJ is not
- 0:24in compliance, and honestly, I doubt they even plan on
- 0:28ever being in compliance at this point. They've had ample
- 0:31opportunity to do the right thing, and time and time
- 0:34again they've refused to do so. And even when there's
- 0:39a law passed, they find ways around it, you know,
- 0:42the loopholes and technicality strategy. That's certainly the strategy that's
- 0:46being used by the DOJ. And if there's nothing to hide,
- 0:50there is nothing to cover up, then why are they
- 0:53going to these lengths to make sure nobody sees these documents,
- 0:57especially considering they tell us all the time how President
- 1:01Trump is some kind of crusader here and how he
- 1:04was working with the authorities. Cool, then he should want
- 1:07to release all this stuff and get it out there
- 1:09right and clear his name. But of course the exact
- 1:12opposite continues to happen. So why If there is nothing
- 1:16damaging in those files, then why this whole song and dance.
- 1:20Why did we need a law to get the president
- 1:24to do what he said he was going to do
- 1:26anyway while he was on the campaign trail. Do you
- 1:29really think that there is nothing in those files, nothing
- 1:32that the current administration or especially their donors, are worried about.
- 1:38And if there's nothing to worry about, this has been
- 1:40one of the biggest blunders in the history of any administration.
- 1:45Imagine burning this kind of political capital and there's nothing
- 1:49to hide. That would have to go down as one
- 1:51of the biggest blunders of all time. And while there's
- 1:53no doubt that I find this administration to be incompetent,
- 1:58I also don't believe that they'd be fighting toothaneil the
- 2:01way they are if there was nothing to see inside
- 2:04of the documents, and if the Jeffrey Epstein story was over,
- 2:09they would come clean and they would end this shit tomorrow.
- 2:12The problem is they can't because the only way to
- 2:15end the story now is to come completely clean and
- 2:19be transparent, and we know that's not going to happen,
- 2:22So their only other option is to dig in and
- 2:25try and make the cover up as airtight as possible.
- 2:29But I don't think that's going to work out for
- 2:30them the way they think it will. This article was
- 2:34published by CNN and the headline new roadblocks slow US
- 2:38reckoning over Epstein as Europe races ahead. This article was
- 2:43authored by Steven Collinson. And there's no doubt that Europe
- 2:48is holding people accountable. I would think that America would
- 2:53want to do the same thing. But then again, when
- 2:56you have the people in charge who are in charge,
- 2:59I'll bet off who the fuck knows what they're gonna
- 3:01do next. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche pledged last month
- 3:07that the Justice Department was not protecting anyone, least of
- 3:10all Donald Trump. Those assurances by the president's former personal
- 3:15lawyer are facing new scrutiny following remarkable developments in the
- 3:20Jeffrey Epstein scandal. Come on, does anyone believe Todd Blanche?
- 3:27All you have to do is take a listen to
- 3:29what he said to Glene Maxwell and what he let
- 3:31Glaine Maxwell say, and you know that Todd Blanche isn't
- 3:34a serious lawman. What he is is a mouthpiece for
- 3:38the administration. That's all he is. Intrigue deepened after lawmakers
- 3:44emerged perplexed after being given the chance to read unredacted
- 3:48versions of blacked out investigative files previously released to the
- 3:52public in massive document dumps compelled by Congress. And it's
- 3:57wild to me that the most transparent administration in history
- 4:01had to be drag kicking and screaming to release the files.
- 4:05Let's not forget that part of it. We didn't want
- 4:08there to be a cover up, and yet what I
- 4:10saw today was that there were lots of examples of
- 4:13people's names being redacted when they were not victims. Maryland
- 4:17Democratic Representative Jamie Raskin said the lawmakers started inspecting the
- 4:22documents at the DOJ on a day of broadening fallout
- 4:27from a scandal that has blown the lid off the
- 4:29late sex offenders, stunning global network of billionaires and power brokers.
- 4:35Well not for nothing. If y'all would have been paying
- 4:37attention seven years ago, you would have known. But the
- 4:40same powers that are now trying to muddy the waters
- 4:44did the same thing back then. They were able to
- 4:47change the narrative, they were able to steal the narrative,
- 4:50and we ended up with no justice and nobody being
- 4:53held accountable and now they're trying to do the same
- 4:56thing here. It was one guy, just a loan predator.
- 5:00There's nothing to see here, folks, Come on, move on,
- 5:03Oh what do you have? TDS so dumb like, at
- 5:06least come with some kind of facts or something right.
- 5:11And look, I'm not even talking about the human trafficking
- 5:14portion of this. I'm talking about the obvious financial crimes
- 5:18that were taking place, the obvious passing of information that
- 5:22was confidential by multiple parties to Jeffrey Epstein. That's what
- 5:26I'm talking about. So even if you don't believe the
- 5:29portion of this about there being this huge human trafficking network,
- 5:32how could you possibly deny the rest of it? How
- 5:35could you deny that there is a group of people
- 5:38behind the scenes that are truly in charge of everything.
- 5:42And I don't say that lightly. I'm not talking about
- 5:45a group of reptilians. I'm talking about a group of
- 5:49ultra rich people. And the vast majority of those people
- 5:55are in the financial sector. And that's why I've been
- 5:58driving that point home for seven years now. All the pain,
- 6:03all the suffering, all the bullshit can be traced directly
- 6:07right back to the financial sector and if you're looking
- 6:10for villains, they're right there. The whole ass financial sector
- 6:15basically is corrupt, and that fact has been illuminated by
- 6:19the emails that we see between Jeffrey Epstein and the
- 6:22so called masters of the universe and what That's not
- 6:26a problem that deserves more analysis. That's not a problem
- 6:30that should be dealt with. I most certainly think it is.
- 6:34And make no mistake, that's why they want you on
- 6:36the salacious side quest. They don't want you digging into this.
- 6:40They don't want you thinking about this from this point
- 6:43of view, because, like I've said a million times, if
- 6:46you really want justice and you really want to take
- 6:48these people down, there's one surefire way to do it,
- 6:52dig directly into their finances. While new concern surfaced over
- 6:57the DOJ's handling of the files and the case, more generally,
- 7:01the push for accountability eras to head in Europe, where
- 7:04the political careers and reputations of powerful people are in shreds. YO,
- 7:09say what you want about Europe, but at least they're
- 7:11not wasting any time cleaning house of Jeffrey Epstein's buddies.
- 7:17We should take a page out of their book here
- 7:19in America. But unfortunately we won't because all these billionaires
- 7:23and power brokers, they're the ones who really run the country,
- 7:26not your president. While that people still think that the
- 7:30president really wields that power, you know, wields the power
- 7:36the people who hold the purse strings, they willed the power,
- 7:39and breaking news that's not the president, and suspicions among
- 7:43survivors that their long quest for justice is being impeded
- 7:47yet again were reinforced by an extraordinary offer made to
- 7:51Trump by a lawyer for Epstein's jail associate, Klanne Maxwell.
- 7:56The gist was this, grant clemency to Maxwell, are convicted
- 7:59six trafficker, and she'll put the president in the clear.
- 8:04Well in that case, why does an al chapo just
- 8:06come out and say that he can clear President Trump too? Oh? Yeah,
- 8:10I can clear Trump. He had nothing to do with Epstein.
- 8:13Can I get my pardon now? As well? Like? What
- 8:16are we even doing here? Do they really think everybody's
- 8:20stupid enough to fall for this shit? Listen? Not everybody
- 8:24tuned into kid Rock for the halftime show. Lawmakers who
- 8:28were able to see some unredacted copies of the Epstein
- 8:31files did not directly accuse the DOJ of a cover up,
- 8:35but there are findings only fuel mistrust among many of
- 8:38their colleagues and the public about its handling of the case.
- 8:42This is especially so since the names of many people
- 8:45linked to Epstein were redacted in public disclosures, while the
- 8:49names of some victims were visible. And that was the
- 8:51beginning of them trying to shift the narrative to blame
- 8:55the victims. And we're already seeing it. Look at the
- 9:00tweet by Anna Paulina Luna. I mean talk about being
- 9:04out to lunch and if you acall, this is a
- 9:08woman who told us, Oh yeah, I'm coming for transparency,
- 9:12I'm coming for justice. I'm coming to find out what
- 9:14really happened with Epstein, with JFK, with UFOs. Well with
- 9:19the bullshit this lady pumps. She should probably just stick
- 9:22to UFOs and Bigfoot probably more speed because she has
- 9:28no idea what she's talking about when it comes to
- 9:31Jeffrey Epstein, and just you watch, keep an eye on it.
- 9:34That's going to be the narrative shift over the coming weeks.
- 9:40After pressure from lawmakers, the Justice Department unredacted some more
- 9:44names in the Epstein files on Monday, with Republican Representative
- 9:48Thomas Massey of Kentucky telling CNNs Caitlyn Collins that they
- 9:53redacted the identities of several people named in a twenty
- 9:57nineteen document that listed Epstein's edge co conspirators. Blanche, in
- 10:02an online exchange with Massey on Monday night, said that
- 10:05the Justice Department is hiding nothing. Oh no, nothing at
- 10:10all except three million more documents. Is this guy for real?
- 10:17Imagine actually thinking that Todd Blanche was trustworthy? I mean,
- 10:21holy shit, this guy makes fucking Merrick Garland look like
- 10:25elliot Ness. Democratic Representative James Wilkinshaw demanded answers. I can
- 10:31say that I saw many names, including names and emails
- 10:35to and from Jeffrey Epstein that suggests these individuals were
- 10:39involved in crimes or at least knew about crimes, the
- 10:42Virginia lawmaker told CNN's Aaron Burnett. And again, I'm not
- 10:46able to explain why they were redacted in a way
- 10:49that's consistent with the law. Well me either, the redactions
- 10:53are terrible, and the Justice Department they need to explain
- 10:58why they were redacted the names they did. Raskin said
- 11:01the department hadn't explained why certain redactions were made, but
- 11:05what he saw was a whole bunch of them that
- 11:07seemed very suspicious and baffling to me. Democratic Representative Jared
- 11:12Moskovitz total reporters, he'd seen lots of names, lots of
- 11:16co conspirators, and they're trafficking girls all across the world,
- 11:20and I think people need to understand that this wasn't
- 11:23just something that was happening in America. And a lot
- 11:26of these victims, a lot of these unnamed girls as
- 11:29I call them, are from Central Eastern Europe, South America,
- 11:34Central America, and everywhere else in between. And after Epstein's
- 11:38first arrest, he wised up. He knew that he could
- 11:41bring in girls from places like South America, he knew
- 11:44he could bring in girls from Eastern Europe and war
- 11:47torn countries, and he knew that the likelihood of him
- 11:49ever being caught or anyone believing them was zero to none.
- 11:53So they exploited that, and that was one of the
- 11:56hunting grounds that Jean Luke Brunel used almost extent. The
- 12:03DOJ was supposed to limit redactions to the personal information
- 12:06of victims and materials that would jeopardize an active criminal investigation,
- 12:12and Congress has not yet received privilege from the DOJ
- 12:16explaining why certain redactions were made, which DOJ is compelled
- 12:21to provide fifteen days after its January thirtieth release of documents.
- 12:27The experience of lawmakers means an even tougher reception for
- 12:31Attorney General Pam Bondy when she testifies to the House
- 12:34Judiciary Committee on Wednesday. Oh, you better believe on watching
- 12:38that one. I hope they grill the shit out of
- 12:41Pam Bondy because she certainly deserves it. She's done nothing
- 12:44but flub this from the very start. Many Democrats already
- 12:48believe that our department, whether by design or omission, is
- 12:52failing to honor the Epstein Files Transparency Act, passed after
- 12:56a GOP revolt against Trump last year. The laws authors,
- 13:00California Democratic Representative Rocanna and Representative Massey, express disappointment with
- 13:06the DOJ. I think that's an understatement. I think we
- 13:10all have disappointment with the way the DJ has handled this,
- 13:15and it's caused a collapse of trust when it comes
- 13:18to the DOJ and the investigations that they're engaging in.
- 13:22This lack of trust is certainly going to bleed over
- 13:24into other things. I mean, if they lie to us
- 13:26about this, what else are they lying about? That's really
- 13:30where we're at right Well, you think this is the
- 13:33only thing they're lying about, the only thing they've been
- 13:35dishonest about. Come on, we all know better than that.
- 13:38And the sad part is, instead of trying to regain
- 13:40our trust, the DOJ just continues to double down on
- 13:44the lives in the deceit. But they refuse to self correct,
- 13:48They refuse to do anything to help rebuild that trust,
- 13:51and the impact that's going to have on our society
- 13:53in general cannot be understated. All right, folks, we're gonna
- 13:57wrap up episode one right here, and in the next episode,
- 14:00we're gonna pick up where we left off. All of
- 14:04the information that goes with this episode can be found
- 14:07in the description box.
