1:00
just
1:00
looking

Eric
1:02
G.
1:03
Is
1:03
here
1:03
to
1:03
guide
1:03
you
1:04
through
1:04
the
1:04
latest
1:04
tips,
1:05
tricks
1:05
and
1:05
trends
1:06
coming
1:06
up
1:06
in
1:06
this
1:07
week's
1:07
first
1:07
hour
1:07
of
1:08
the
1:08
show.
1:08
You
1:09
know,
1:09
coming
1:09
into
1:09
the
1:09
winter,
1:10
since
1:10
I
1:10
had
1:10
a
1:11
lawn
1:11
that
1:11
didn't
1:11
have
1:12
the
1:12
best
1:13
care
1:13
for
1:14
decades
1:14
before
1:16
was
1:16
not
1:16
in
1:16
the
1:16
best
1:16
shape.
1:17
But
1:17
the
1:17
cool
1:17
thing
1:17
here
1:18
was
1:18
that
1:18
I
1:19
liked
1:19
is
1:19
it
1:20
really
1:20
busted
1:20
up
1:20
the
1:21
thatch.
1:21
I
1:22
had
1:22
some
1:22
thatch
1:22
in
1:23
there
1:23
and
1:23
it
1:23
really
1:24
broke
1:24
it
1:24
down
1:24
over
1:24
the
1:24
winter
1:25
and
1:25
that
1:26
was
1:26
using
1:26
their
1:26
stuff
1:26
right
1:27
there.
1:27
So
1:27
it
1:27
really
1:27
dialed
1:28
things
1:28
in
1:28
and
1:28
made
1:28
it
1:28
look
1:29
really
1:29
good.
1:29
So
1:30
it's
1:30
going
1:30
to
1:30
be
1:30
a
1:30
healthier
1:31
lawn
1:31
for
1:31
me.
1:32
So
1:33
just
1:33
going
1:33
through
1:33
a
1:33
process
1:34
like
1:34
that
1:34
where
1:34
it's
1:35
mindless,
1:35
they
1:36
send
1:36
you
1:36
a
1:36
box,
1:36
you'll
1:37
look
1:37
at
1:37
it
1:37
a
1:38
subscription
1:38
based.
1:39
So
1:39
grab
1:40
your
1:40
toolbox,
1:41
put
1:41
on
1:41
your
1:41
thinking
1:42
cap
1:42
and
1:42
let's
1:43
get
1:43
to
1:43
work
1:44
right
1:44
here
1:44
on
1:45
around
1:45
the
1:45
House
1:45
with
1:45
Eric
1:46
Garrett.
1:47
Welcome
1:48
to
1:48
the
1:48
around
1:49
the
1:49
House
1:49
show,
1:49
the
1:49
next
1:50
generation
1:50
of
1:51
home
1:51
improvement.
1:52
I'm
1:52
Eric
1:52
G.
1:53
Thanks
1:53
for
1:53
joining
1:53
me
1:54
today.
1:54
Happy
1:55
weekend
1:56
everybody.
1:56
Hope
1:57
everybody's
1:57
having
1:57
a
1:57
great
1:58
time
1:58
outside.
1:58
It's
1:59
springtime
2:00
for
2:00
most
2:01
people
2:01
out
2:01
there.
2:01
Of
2:02
course
2:02
there's
2:02
always
2:02
those
2:02
little
2:03
places
2:03
that
2:03
are
2:03
getting
2:04
a
2:04
little
2:04
snow,
2:05
having
2:05
a
2:05
good
2:06
time.
2:06
But
2:06
that's
2:07
something
2:07
that's
2:07
probably
2:08
more
2:08
typical
2:08
you
2:09
for
2:09
you.
2:09
But
2:10
the
2:10
rest
2:10
of
2:10
us
2:10
are
2:11
having
2:11
a
2:11
great
2:11
time
2:11
in
2:11
the
2:11
spring
2:12
and
2:12
there
2:12
are
2:12
so
2:13
many
2:13
things
2:13
that
2:13
we
2:13
can
2:14
be
2:14
doing
2:14
now
2:14
around
2:14
our
2:15
house.
2:15
And
2:16
on
2:16
our
2:16
first
2:16
hour
2:17
today,
2:17
we're
2:17
going
2:17
to
2:17
be
2:17
talking
2:18
here
2:18
about
2:19
some
2:19
yard
2:19
care
2:19
and
2:20
maintenance
2:20
tips
2:21
to
2:21
see
2:21
what
2:21
we
2:22
can
2:22
do
2:22
to
2:22
get
2:22
it
2:23
healthy,
2:23
Looking
2:24
good
2:25
and
2:25
some
2:25
other
2:26
things
2:26
around
2:26
the
2:27
house
2:27
today.
2:27
This
2:27
hour
2:28
is
2:28
brought
2:28
to
2:28
you
2:28
by
2:28
our
2:29
friends
2:29
at
2:29
Monument
2:30
Grills.
2:31
If
2:31
you're
2:31
looking
2:31
for
2:32
a
2:32
brand
2:32
new
2:32
barbecue,
2:33
you
2:33
want
2:33
to
2:34
save
2:34
a
2:34
little
2:34
money.
2:35
You
2:35
don't
2:35
want
2:35
to
2:35
spend
2:36
a
2:36
ton,
2:36
but
2:36
you
2:36
want
2:36
to
2:37
have
2:37
that
2:37
performance
2:38
you're
2:38
looking
2:38
for.
2:39
Check
2:40
them
2:40
out
2:40
and
2:40
their
2:40
new
2:40
MNS
2:41
and
2:41
series@monumentgrills.com
2:44
today.
2:44
I
2:44
wanted
2:45
to
2:45
talk
2:45
about
2:47
everything
2:47
around
2:47
your
2:48
house
2:48
in
2:48
the
2:48
spring,
2:49
outside
2:49
stuff
2:50
specifically.
2:50
But
2:50
there's
2:51
one
2:51
thing
2:51
that
2:52
I
2:52
see
2:52
us
2:52
doing
2:53
and
2:53
this
2:53
was
2:54
a
2:54
request
2:54
that
2:54
I
2:54
wanted
2:55
to
2:55
slide
2:55
into
2:56
the
2:56
show,
2:57
spring
2:57
allergies.
2:59
I
2:59
tell
3:00
you
3:00
what,
3:00
we
3:01
here
3:02
in
3:02
the
3:02
Pacific
3:02
Northwest
3:03
have
3:03
had
3:04
epic
3:04
pollen
3:05
from
3:05
our
3:05
trees
3:05
and
3:05
bushes
3:06
and
3:07
everything
3:07
else.
3:07
We
3:08
just
3:08
this
3:08
last
3:09
weekend
3:10
on
3:10
Easter
3:11
Sunday,
3:11
Happy
3:12
post
3:12
Easter
3:13
everybody.
3:13
We
3:13
had
3:14
a
3:14
couple
3:14
little
3:14
rain
3:15
showers
3:15
that
3:15
came
3:15
through
3:16
and
3:16
I
3:16
hope
3:17
for
3:17
us,
3:17
that
3:17
helped
3:18
keep
3:18
a
3:19
little
3:19
bit
3:19
of
3:19
that
3:19
pollen
3:20
down
3:20
long
3:21
term.
3:21
It
3:21
was
3:21
better
3:22
this
3:22
week,
3:22
so
3:22
we'll
3:22
see
3:23
what
3:23
happens.
3:23
But
3:24
sometimes
3:24
those
3:25
rains
3:25
here
3:25
for
3:25
us
3:26
really
3:26
help
3:26
keep
3:26
things
3:27
died
3:27
down.
3:27
But
3:28
here's
3:28
one
3:28
of
3:29
the
3:29
biggest
3:29
problems.
3:29
We
3:30
start
3:30
doing
3:30
the
3:30
spring
3:31
stuff,
3:31
little
3:31
spring
3:31
cleaning.
3:33
The
3:33
first
3:33
thing
3:34
I
3:34
want
3:34
you
3:34
to
3:34
do
3:34
is
3:35
make
3:35
sure
3:36
you
3:36
got
3:37
a
3:37
fresh,
3:38
brand
3:38
new
3:38
air
3:39
filter
3:39
inside
3:40
your
3:40
H
3:40
VAC
3:41
system,
3:41
or
3:42
you've
3:43
got
3:43
a
3:43
nice
3:43
HEPA
3:44
filter
3:44
in
3:44
your
3:44
house
3:44
that
3:45
you
3:45
can
3:45
change
3:45
out
3:46
if
3:46
you
3:46
just
3:46
have
3:47
heat
3:47
like
3:47
baseboard
3:48
heat
3:48
or
3:49
any
3:49
kind
3:49
of
3:50
heat
3:50
that
3:50
doesn't
3:51
have
3:51
a
3:51
filter
3:52
to
3:52
it.
3:52
So
3:52
radiant,
3:53
any,
3:53
any
3:54
one
3:54
of
3:54
those
3:55
having
3:55
a
3:55
good
3:55
HEPA
3:56
filter
3:56
that
3:56
you
3:56
can
3:56
plug
3:57
in,
3:57
you
3:57
can
3:57
change
3:58
those
3:58
filters,
3:58
clean
3:59
them
3:59
out
3:59
and
4:00
be
4:00
good
4:00
to
4:00
go,
4:00
will
4:00
help
4:01
you
4:01
with
4:01
that
4:01
indoor
4:01
air
4:02
quality.
4:02
But
4:02
our
4:03
biggest
4:03
problem
4:03
that
4:03
we
4:03
have
4:04
is
4:05
we
4:05
see
4:05
the
4:05
sunshine
4:06
and
4:06
we
4:06
have
4:07
this
4:07
bad
4:07
habit,
4:08
right?
4:09
That
4:09
bad
4:09
habit
4:09
is
4:10
us
4:10
opening
4:10
the
4:10
windows
4:11
up,
4:11
going,
4:12
let's
4:12
let
4:12
that
4:12
fresh
4:13
air
4:13
in.
4:15
Many
4:15
times
4:15
our
4:16
biggest
4:16
problem,
4:16
though,
4:16
is
4:17
that
4:17
fresh
4:17
air
4:17
we're
4:18
bringing
4:18
in
4:18
is
4:19
dirtier
4:20
than
4:20
the
4:21
air
4:21
inside
4:22
the
4:22
home.
4:22
So
4:22
we're
4:22
bringing
4:23
in
4:23
all
4:23
those
4:24
allergens,
4:24
all
4:25
of
4:25
those
4:25
contaminants.
4:26
We
4:27
haven't
4:27
cleaned
4:27
our
4:27
window
4:28
screens
4:28
yet.
4:28
So
4:29
those
4:29
are
4:29
trying
4:29
to
4:29
filter
4:30
the
4:30
air
4:30
a
4:30
little
4:30
bit
4:31
or
4:32
they're
4:32
dragging
4:32
more
4:33
in
4:33
with
4:33
a
4:33
little
4:34
bit
4:34
of
4:34
a
4:34
breeze.
4:34
That
4:35
is
4:35
one
4:35
thing
4:35
to
4:35
consider.
4:36
Make
4:36
sure
4:37
you
4:37
got
4:37
those
4:37
window
4:38
screens
4:38
cleaned
4:39
up,
4:39
sealed
4:39
up,
4:40
looking
4:40
good.
4:42
And
4:42
of
4:42
course,
4:43
pay
4:43
attention,
4:44
jump
4:44
online,
4:46
check
4:46
your
4:46
local
4:47
weather
4:47
station,
4:48
see
4:49
what
4:49
the
4:49
pollen
4:50
count
4:50
is,
4:50
see
4:50
what
4:50
the
4:51
outdoor
4:51
air
4:51
quality
4:52
is.
4:52
Before
4:53
you
4:53
go,
4:53
open
4:53
the
4:53
house
4:54
up,
4:55
see
4:55
how
4:55
that
4:56
looks.
4:56
If
4:57
it's
4:57
too
4:57
high,
4:57
you
4:57
might
4:58
want
4:58
to
4:58
do
4:58
it
4:58
another
4:58
day.
4:59
But
4:59
you
4:59
could
5:00
be
5:00
bringing
5:00
in
5:01
so
5:01
much
5:01
pollen,
5:02
so
5:02
much
5:03
allergens
5:04
out
5:04
there.
5:05
That's
5:05
a
5:05
big
5:05
one.
5:06
Another
5:06
thing
5:07
you
5:07
know,
5:07
you
5:07
can
5:07
do
5:08
around
5:08
the
5:08
house
5:08
to
5:08
control
5:09
that
5:09
is,
5:09
is
5:09
make
5:10
sure
5:10
that
5:10
if
5:11
you're
5:11
doing
5:11
some
5:11
cleaning
5:12
inside,
5:12
I
5:12
always
5:13
say,
5:13
and
5:14
the
5:14
indoor
5:14
air
5:14
quality
5:15
is
5:15
going
5:15
to
5:16
be
5:16
worse
5:16
than
5:16
outside,
5:18
turn
5:18
on
5:18
the
5:18
vent
5:18
fans,
5:19
use
5:19
the
5:19
bathroom
5:20
fans,
5:20
the
5:20
one
5:20
in
5:21
the
5:21
kitchen,
5:21
that
5:21
vent
5:21
outside.
5:23
Use
5:23
those
5:23
to
5:24
your
5:24
advantage
5:24
while
5:24
you're
5:25
making
5:25
dust
5:26
of
5:26
cleaning
5:26
the
5:26
house,
5:27
see
5:28
what
5:28
you
5:28
can
5:28
do
5:28
to
5:28
get
5:29
that
5:29
air.
5:29
Turn
5:29
your
5:30
H
5:30
Vac
5:30
system,
5:31
turn
5:31
the
5:32
fan,
5:32
if
5:32
it
5:32
has
5:32
it
5:33
up
5:33
on
5:33
high
5:34
so
5:34
you
5:34
can
5:34
move
5:34
some
5:35
air
5:35
through.
5:36
Those
5:36
are
5:37
all
5:37
great
5:37
things
5:37
to
5:37
do
5:37
when
5:38
you're
5:38
doing
5:38
the
5:38
house
5:38
cleaning,
5:39
because
5:39
you
5:39
can
5:40
get,
5:40
especially
5:41
if
5:41
you're
5:41
cleaning
5:41
clutter,
5:42
you
5:42
know,
5:42
you're
5:42
dusting,
5:43
you're
5:43
doing
5:43
that
5:43
stuff.
5:44
See
5:44
if
5:44
you
5:44
can
5:44
get
5:45
that
5:45
air
5:45
moving
5:45
and
5:46
see
5:46
if
5:46
you
5:46
can
5:46
get
5:47
it
5:47
where
5:47
it's
5:47
getting
5:47
filtered.
5:48
It'll
5:48
be
5:49
much
5:49
better
5:49
off
5:49
for
5:49
you.
5:50
So
5:51
these
5:51
are
5:51
some
5:51
tricks
5:52
and
5:52
tips.
5:53
Don't
5:53
use
5:53
any
5:53
of
5:53
those
5:54
weird
5:54
air
5:54
air
5:55
fresheners
5:55
that
5:55
you
5:55
plug
5:56
in.
5:56
Those
5:56
are
5:56
not
5:56
good
5:57
for
5:57
you.
5:58
Just
5:58
be
5:58
very
5:59
careful
5:59
with
6:00
that.
6:01
And
6:01
duct
6:01
cleaning,
6:02
you
6:02
got
6:02
to
6:02
be
6:02
careful
6:02
with
6:03
out
6:03
there.
6:03
Guys,
6:03
there
6:04
are
6:04
a
6:04
lot
6:04
of
6:04
scams.
6:05
It's
6:05
probably
6:06
one
6:06
of
6:06
the
6:06
number
6:06
one
6:06
scams,
6:07
if
6:07
not
6:07
the
6:08
number
6:08
one
6:08
scam
6:08
in
6:08
the
6:08
country,
6:09
especially
6:10
on
6:10
social
6:10
media.
6:11
But
6:11
there
6:11
are
6:11
great
6:12
people
6:12
that
6:12
do
6:12
it
6:13
if
6:13
you
6:13
need
6:13
to
6:13
have
6:13
it
6:14
done.
6:15
Having
6:15
your
6:15
ducks
6:16
clean
6:16
is
6:16
not
6:16
a
6:16
bad
6:17
idea.
6:18
But
6:18
you
6:18
want
6:19
to
6:19
make
6:19
sure
6:19
they're
6:19
NATCA
6:20
certified
6:20
and
6:21
I
6:21
like
6:21
to
6:21
have
6:22
them
6:22
be
6:22
a
6:22
member
6:23
or
6:23
tied
6:24
in
6:24
with
6:24
an
6:25
H
6:25
Vac
6:25
professional
6:26
in
6:26
case
6:26
something
6:27
goes
6:27
wrong
6:27
or
6:27
they
6:27
see
6:27
an
6:28
issue.
6:28
You
6:29
can
6:29
get
6:29
somebody
6:29
out
6:29
there
6:30
quickly
6:30
to
6:30
fix
6:30
it.
6:31
So
6:32
watch
6:32
that
6:32
indoor
6:33
air
6:33
quality.
6:33
Pay
6:33
attention.
6:34
You
6:35
can
6:35
buy
6:35
a
6:36
indoor
6:36
air
6:36
quality
6:36
monitor
6:37
from
6:38
your
6:38
online
6:38
or
6:38
your
6:39
favorite
6:39
online
6:39
retailer.
6:40
You
6:41
can
6:41
grab
6:41
that
6:41
and
6:42
it
6:42
will
6:42
sure
6:42
help
6:43
you
6:44
have
6:44
cleaner
6:45
air
6:45
inside
6:46
your
6:46
home.
6:46
So
6:47
a
6:47
little
6:47
bit
6:47
about
6:47
that.
6:48
Just
6:48
really
6:49
spend
6:49
some
6:49
time
6:50
making
6:50
sure
6:50
that
6:50
your
6:50
indoor
6:51
air
6:51
quality
6:52
is
6:52
dialed
6:52
in
6:52
and
6:53
you're
6:53
looking
6:53
good.
6:54
Won't
6:54
be
6:54
so
6:55
bad.
6:56
It
6:56
won't
6:56
be
6:57
so
6:57
bad.
6:58
All
6:58
right,
6:58
now
6:59
today
6:59
I
6:59
wanted
6:59
to
6:59
talk
6:59
about
7:00
those
7:00
outdoor
7:02
yard
7:02
care
7:02
next
7:03
here.
7:03
And
7:03
this
7:03
is
7:03
a
7:04
big
7:04
one.
7:05
This
7:05
is
7:05
a
7:05
big
7:05
one.
7:05
And
7:06
it's
7:06
depending
7:06
on
7:06
where
7:06
in
7:07
the
7:07
country
7:07
you
7:07
are
7:07
because
7:08
of
7:08
course,
7:09
we
7:09
have
7:09
so
7:09
many
7:09
different
7:10
grasses
7:10
out
7:11
there
7:11
depending
7:12
on
7:12
your
7:12
what
7:12
part
7:12
of
7:13
the
7:13
country
7:13
you're
7:13
in
7:14
that
7:14
it
7:15
can
7:15
be
7:15
really
7:15
confusing
7:16
for
7:16
a
7:16
lot
7:16
of
7:16
people
7:17
because
7:17
you're
7:17
watching
7:17
stuff
7:18
going,
7:19
my,
7:19
my
7:19
bag
7:20
of
7:20
fertilizer
7:21
says
7:21
I
7:21
should
7:21
be
7:21
doing
7:21
this
7:21
here,
7:22
but
7:22
you
7:22
don't
7:22
really
7:22
know.
7:24
And
7:25
so
7:25
the
7:25
first
7:26
thing
7:26
that
7:26
I
7:26
say
7:27
when
7:27
you're
7:28
trying
7:28
to
7:28
get
7:28
the
7:28
greenest
7:29
lawn,
7:30
test
7:30
your
7:30
soil
7:31
and
7:31
know
7:31
what
7:31
you're
7:32
starting
7:32
with.
7:33
This
7:33
is
7:33
huge.
7:34
That
7:35
lab
7:35
test
7:35
will
7:36
tell
7:36
you
7:36
what
7:36
the
7:37
is
7:38
what
7:38
you're
7:38
hurting
7:39
with.
7:39
Do
7:39
you
7:39
have
7:40
clay
7:40
soil?
7:40
Is
7:41
it
7:41
sandy
7:41
loam?
7:42
What
7:42
are
7:42
you
7:42
working
7:42
with?
7:43
That
7:44
soil
7:44
test
7:44
will
7:44
tell
7:45
you
7:45
what
7:45
you
7:45
have
7:46
and
7:46
what
7:46
you
7:46
don't
7:46
have
7:47
in
7:47
your
7:47
soil.
7:48
And
7:48
that
7:48
is
7:49
a
7:49
big
7:49
part
7:50
of
7:50
understanding.
7:50
You
7:51
can
7:51
go
7:51
to
7:51
an
7:51
extension
7:51
office
7:52
if
7:52
you
7:52
have
7:52
them.
7:53
I
7:53
actually
7:54
use
7:55
Lawn
7:55
Brite.
7:56
I
7:56
love
7:56
these
7:56
guys
7:57
because
7:57
I
7:57
don't
7:57
have
7:57
one
7:58
of
7:58
the
7:58
spray
7:59
green
7:59
companies
8:00
come
8:00
around
8:00
and
8:01
knock
8:01
on
8:01
my
8:01
door
8:02
and
8:02
spray
8:02
my
8:02
yard.
8:03
I
8:04
like
8:04
Lawn
8:04
Brite
8:05
and
8:05
this
8:05
isn't
8:05
a
8:05
Paid
8:06
segment
8:06
here.
8:06
This
8:07
is
8:07
just
8:07
who
8:07
I
8:07
use.
8:08
I
8:09
can
8:09
go
8:09
around.
8:09
And
8:10
I
8:10
started
8:10
out
8:10
last
8:11
year,
8:11
I
8:11
took
8:12
filled
8:12
up
8:12
a
8:12
little
8:13
tiny
8:13
box
8:13
for
8:13
the
8:14
soil
8:14
and
8:14
their
8:14
plastic
8:14
bag
8:15
shipped
8:15
it
8:15
back
8:15
and
8:15
they
8:15
went,
8:16
wow,
8:16
we
8:16
got
8:16
some
8:17
work
8:17
to
8:17
do.
8:18
And
8:18
the
8:18
reason
8:19
why
8:19
I
8:19
had
8:19
work
8:20
to
8:20
do
8:21
is
8:21
because
8:21
I
8:21
have
8:22
these
8:22
big
8:22
fir
8:23
trees.
8:23
I
8:23
live
8:24
in
8:24
the
8:24
forest,
8:26
like
8:26
the
8:26
Pacific
8:27
Northwest
8:27
forest.
8:28
I
8:28
live.
8:29
I've
8:29
got
8:29
14
8:29
of
8:30
those
8:30
huge
8:31
massive
8:31
trees.
8:32
They
8:33
drop
8:33
off
8:33
and
8:33
change
8:34
the
8:34
PH
8:34
of
8:34
the
8:34
soil.
8:35
All
8:35
the
8:35
stuff
8:35
coming
8:36
out
8:36
of
8:36
the
8:36
trees
8:37
really
8:38
change
8:38
the
8:38
soil.
8:39
So
8:40
you
8:40
need
8:40
to
8:40
have
8:40
that
8:41
soil
8:41
balance
8:42
so
8:42
it
8:42
can
8:42
accept
8:42
the
8:42
nutrients.
8:44
That's
8:44
the
8:44
really
8:45
big
8:45
part
8:45
of
8:45
this.
8:46
So
8:46
understanding
8:47
what
8:47
that
8:47
is.
8:47
Right
8:48
now
8:48
I'm
8:48
on
8:48
a
8:48
system
8:49
where
8:49
I'm
8:49
actually
8:49
putting
8:50
lime
8:50
down
8:50
a
8:51
few
8:51
times
8:51
a
8:51
year
8:51
to
8:52
really
8:52
help
8:52
break
8:52
that
8:53
soil
8:53
down
8:54
and
8:54
change
8:54
that.
8:55
I
8:56
will
8:56
be
8:56
doing
8:56
that
8:56
probably
8:57
multiple
8:57
times
8:58
a
8:58
year
8:59
for
8:59
probably
8:59
the
8:59
entire
9:00
time
9:00
that
9:01
I'm
9:01
caring
9:01
for
9:01
this
9:01
lawn
9:02
to
9:02
get
9:02
it
9:02
looking
9:03
good.
9:04
Because
9:04
you
9:05
really
9:05
have
9:05
to
9:05
do
9:05
this.
9:06
And
9:06
right
9:06
now
9:06
I'm
9:06
gonna
9:06
hit
9:06
it
9:07
again.
9:07
Because
9:07
it's
9:07
in
9:07
the
9:07
wintertime.
9:08
It
9:08
was
9:08
good
9:08
because
9:09
I
9:09
could
9:09
put
9:09
it
9:09
down
9:09
and
9:09
let
9:10
it
9:10
just
9:10
break
9:10
down.
9:10
Right
9:11
now,
9:11
since
9:12
we're
9:12
getting
9:12
into
9:12
the
9:12
spring,
9:13
I
9:13
want
9:13
to
9:13
make
9:13
sure
9:14
and
9:14
hit
9:14
it
9:14
again
9:14
so
9:15
I
9:15
can
9:15
really
9:15
make
9:15
sure
9:16
that
9:16
we
9:16
change
9:16
that
9:16
ph
9:17
through
9:17
the
9:17
summer.
9:18
It's
9:18
not
9:18
an
9:18
instant
9:19
thing.
9:19
It's
9:19
not
9:19
like
9:19
fertilizer
9:20
where
9:20
you
9:20
put
9:20
it
9:20
down
9:21
and
9:21
it
9:21
just
9:21
goes
9:21
and
9:22
goes
9:22
in
9:22
a
9:23
week.
9:23
You
9:23
see
9:23
something
9:23
different
9:25
when
9:25
you're
9:25
working
9:26
with
9:26
lime
9:27
and
9:27
things
9:27
like
9:27
that
9:28
that
9:28
you're
9:28
putting
9:28
down
9:29
on
9:30
your
9:30
soil.
9:31
Any
9:31
of
9:31
those
9:32
minerals
9:32
like
9:32
that
9:33
that
9:33
you're
9:33
putting
9:33
in.
9:35
That's
9:35
the
9:35
thing.
9:35
You
9:35
want
9:35
to
9:35
make
9:36
sure
9:36
that
9:36
you
9:36
got
9:36
dialed
9:36
in
9:37
because
9:37
otherwise
9:37
that
9:38
takes
9:38
a
9:38
while
9:38
to
9:38
break
9:38
down.
9:39
So
9:39
that's
9:39
a
9:39
you'll
9:40
see
9:40
it
9:40
in
9:40
a
9:40
few
9:40
months
9:41
thing
9:41
versus
9:41
see
9:41
it
9:41
in
9:42
a
9:42
week.
9:42
Something
9:43
to
9:43
consider
9:44
now
9:44
when
9:44
we
9:45
come
9:45
back,
9:46
we're
9:46
going
9:46
to
9:46
be
9:46
talking
9:46
about
9:47
here
9:47
using
9:48
some
9:48
technology
9:49
after
9:50
we
9:50
talk
9:50
about
9:51
fertilization,
9:51
because
9:51
there's
9:52
some
9:52
things
9:52
you
9:52
can
9:52
do
9:52
to
9:52
save
9:53
money
9:53
and
9:54
have
9:54
a
9:54
greener
9:54
lawn,
9:55
which
9:55
I
9:55
like.
9:56
And
9:57
we'll
9:57
do
9:57
that
9:57
just
9:58
as
9:58
soon
9:58
as
9:58
around
9:58
the
9:59
House
9:59
returns.
9:59
We're
9:59
just
10:00
getting
10:00
started.
10:01
When
10:01
you're
10:01
over
10:01
at
10:01
aroundthe
10:02
house
10:02
online.com,
10:03
make
10:03
sure
10:04
you
10:04
check
10:04
out
10:04
our
10:05
social
10:05
media
10:05
channels,
10:06
our
10:06
YouTube
10:06
page.
10:07
We've
10:07
got
10:08
our
10:08
own
10:08
for
10:08
the
10:08
radio
10:08
show
10:09
and
10:09
podcast
10:09
here,
10:09
of
10:10
course.
10:10
And
10:10
of
10:10
course
10:10
around
10:11
the
10:11
house
10:11
Northwest,
10:12
our
10:12
TV
10:13
show
10:13
that
10:13
we
10:13
do
10:14
that
10:14
I
10:14
do
10:15
over
10:15
on
10:15
Fox
10:16
12.
10:16
So
10:16
on
10:17
Fox
10:17
12
10:17
plus
10:17
so
10:18
you
10:18
can
10:18
find
10:18
that
10:18
all
10:19
right
10:19
there.
10:19
So
10:19
lots
10:20
of
10:20
content,
10:20
lots
10:21
of
10:21
stuff
10:21
for
10:21
you
10:22
for
10:22
taking
10:22
on
10:23
that
10:23
next
10:23
project
10:24
or
10:24
for
10:25
finding
10:25
out
10:25
more
10:25
information
10:26
before
10:26
you
10:27
start
10:27
that
10:27
next
10:28
project.
10:28
Around
10:28
the
10:29
House
10:29
we'll
10:29
be
10:29
right
10:29
back
10:29
after
10:30
these
10:30
important
10:30
messages.
10:31
Don't
10:31
change
10:32
that
10:32
dial.
10:32
To
10:33
find
10:33
out
10:33
more
10:33
information,
10:34
head
10:34
to
10:34
aroundthe
10:35
house
10:35
online.com
10:36
don't
10:37
change
10:37
that
10:37
dial.
10:38
Around
10:38
the
10:39
House
10:39
will
10:39
be
10:39
right
10:39
back
10:40
after
10:40
these
10:40
important
10:41
messages.
12:45
So
12:47
many
12:47
people
10:45
with
12:52
welcome
12:52
back
12:52
to
12:53
the
12:53
around
12:53
the
12:53
House
12:53
show,
12:54
the
12:54
next
12:54
generation
12:54
of
12:54
home
12:55
improvement.
12:55
I'm
12:55
Eric
12:56
G.
12:56
Thanks
12:56
for
12:56
joining
12:57
me
12:57
today.
12:57
And
12:58
of
12:58
course
12:58
this
12:58
hour
12:58
is
12:59
brought
12:59
to
12:59
you
12:59
by
12:59
our
12:59
friends
12:59
at
12:59
Monument
13:00
Grills.
13:00
Check
13:00

13:00

13:03
for
13:03
that
13:03
brand
13:03
new
13:04
barbecue.
13:04
If
13:04
you're
13:04
on
13:05
a
13:05
budget,
13:05
you
13:05
want
13:06
the
13:06
finer
13:06
things
13:06
in
13:07
life.
13:07
Yes,
13:07
you
13:08
can
13:08
have
13:08
both
13:08
with
13:08
monumcrills.com
13:11
we've
13:11
been
13:11
talking
13:11
about
13:11
yard
13:12
care
13:12
and
13:12
maintenance
13:13
and
13:13
really
13:13
getting
13:13
that
13:14
stuff
13:14
dialed
13:14
in
13:15
for
13:15
you.
13:15
And
13:16
it
13:16
really
13:16
makes
13:16
a
13:16
difference
13:17
with
13:17
what
13:17
you're
13:18
doing,
13:19
especially
13:20
when
13:21
what
13:21
you're
13:21
doing
13:21
we're
13:22
talking
13:22
about
13:22
here
13:22
using
13:23
a
13:23
company
13:23
like
13:24
Lawn
13:24
Bright
13:25
who
13:25
does
13:25
the
13:26
soil
13:26
testing
13:27
and
13:27
then
13:28
following
13:29
their
13:29
directions,
13:30
once
13:30
you've
13:30
sent
13:31
that
13:31
in,
13:32
they
13:32
come
13:32
back
13:32
and
13:33
they'll
13:33
send
13:33
you
13:33
a
13:33
box
13:34
too
13:34
of
13:34
hey,
13:34
here's
13:34
the
13:34
basics
13:35
you
13:35
need
13:35
to
13:35
start
13:35
with.
13:36
And
13:36
then
13:37
they
13:37
start
13:37
looking
13:37
at
13:37
it
13:37
with
13:38
your
13:38
climate.
13:39
When
13:39
do
13:39
you
13:40
need
13:40
to
13:40
fertilize?
13:40
When
13:41
do
13:41
you
13:41
need
13:41
to
13:41
use
13:41
a
13:41
weed
13:42
killer,
13:42
when
13:42
do
13:42
you
13:42
need
13:43
to
13:43
do
13:43
all
13:43
that
13:43
stuff?
13:44
And
13:45
what
13:45
I
13:45
like
13:45
about
13:45
it
13:45
is
13:45
they
13:46
use
13:46
green
13:47
organic
13:47
products.
13:48
It's
13:48
all
13:49
hose
13:49
end.
13:50
So
13:50
it's
13:50
really
13:51
easy
13:51
to
13:51
use
13:51
for
13:51
most
13:52
homeowners.
13:53
And
13:53
you
13:53
can
13:54
knock
13:54
it
13:54
out
13:54
really
13:54
quickly.
13:55
And
13:55
so
13:55
you
13:55
can
13:56
go
13:56
out,
13:56
you
13:56
can
13:56
put
13:56
it
13:56
down
13:57
and
13:57
you
13:58
don't
13:58
have
13:58
to
13:58
worry
13:58
about
13:58
burning
13:59
your
13:59
lawn.
13:59
It
13:59
just
14:00
is
14:00
a
14:00
really
14:00
good
14:01
way
14:01
to
14:02
get
14:02
that
14:02
dialed
14:03
in.
14:03
And
14:03
my
14:03
lawn
14:04
looks
14:04
so
14:04
much
14:05
better
14:05
than
14:05
it
14:05
ever
14:05
has.
14:06
And
14:07
I've
14:07
been
14:07
going
14:07
since
14:08
last
14:08
fall.
14:09
And
14:09
really
14:09
how
14:10
you
14:10
set
14:10
up
14:10
that
14:10
springtime
14:11
to
14:11
be
14:11
looking
14:12
really
14:12
good
14:13
is
14:13
that
14:14
fall
14:14
prevention
14:15
stuff.
14:15
So
14:15
with
14:16
them,
14:16
you're
14:16
putting
14:16
all
14:17
the
14:17
stuff
14:17
down
14:17
you
14:17
need
14:17
to
14:18
in
14:18
the
14:18
fall.
14:18
I
14:18
hit
14:18
it
14:18
with
14:18
my
14:19
lime,
14:19
I
14:19
hit
14:19
it
14:19
with
14:19
all
14:19
the
14:20
stuff
14:20
I
14:20
needed
14:20
to.
14:21
And
14:21
then
14:21
you
14:21
just
14:21
let
14:22
Mother
14:22
Nature
14:22
go
14:23
for
14:23
the
14:23
winter.
14:24
And
14:24
that
14:24
way
14:24
when
14:25
springtime
14:25
comes
14:25
around,
14:26
you've
14:26
got
14:26
a
14:27
healthier
14:27
lawn
14:27
to
14:27
begin
14:28
with.
14:28
So
14:28
you're
14:28
already
14:28
a
14:29
month
14:29
or
14:29
two
14:29
ahead.
14:30
You
14:30
know,
14:30
if
14:30
you're
14:31
just
14:31
diving
14:31
into
14:31
your
14:31
lawn
14:32
care
14:32
routine
14:32
right
14:32
now
14:33
and
14:33
you
14:33
didn't
14:33
do
14:33
anything
14:33
in
14:34
the
14:34
fall,
14:35
something
14:35
to
14:35
think
14:35
about
14:36
later
14:36
in
14:37
the
14:37
season
14:37
for
14:37
you.
14:38
So
14:38
you're
14:38
in
14:38
a
14:38
better
14:39
spot
14:39
with
14:39
that.
14:40
So
14:40
what
14:40
I'm
14:40
doing
14:41
now
14:41
is
14:41
I
14:41
just
14:41
hit
14:42
it
14:42
with
14:42
my,
14:42
with
14:42
the
14:43
weed
14:43
prevention
14:43
stuff
14:44
here
14:44
as
14:45
well
14:45
as
14:46
the
14:46
fertilizer.
14:47
And
14:47
boy,
14:48
a
14:48
week
14:49
in,
14:49
it's
14:49
looking
14:49
golden.
14:50
It's
14:51
really
14:51
getting
14:51
thicker,
14:52
it's
14:52
really
14:53
filling
14:53
in,
14:53
which
14:53
I
14:54
like.
14:54
And
14:55
I
14:55
had
14:55
some,
14:56
you
14:56
know,
14:57
coming
14:57
into
14:57
the
14:57
winter
14:58
since
14:58
I
14:58
had
14:58
a
14:58
lawn
14:59
that
14:59
didn't
14:59
have
15:00
the
15:00
best
15:00
care
15:01
for
15:01
decades
15:02
before
15:04
was
15:04
not
15:04
in
15:04
the
15:04
best
15:04
shape.
15:05
But
15:05
the
15:05
cool
15:05
thing
15:05
here
15:05
was
15:06
that
15:06
I
15:06
really
15:07
liked
15:07
is
15:07
it
15:07
really
15:08
busted
15:08
up
15:08
the
15:08
thatch.
15:09
I
15:09
had
15:10
some
15:10
thatch
15:10
in
15:10
there
15:11
and
15:11
it
15:11
really
15:11
broke
15:12
it
15:12
down
15:12
over
15:12
the
15:12
winter.
15:13
And
15:13
that
15:13
was
15:14
using
15:14
their
15:14
stuff
15:14
right
15:14
there.
15:15
So
15:15
it
15:15
really
15:15
dialed
15:15
things
15:16
in
15:16
and
15:16
made
15:16
it
15:16
look
15:16
really
15:17
good.
15:17
So
15:17
it's
15:18
going
15:18
to
15:18
be
15:18
a
15:18
healthier
15:19
lawn
15:19
for
15:19
me.
15:20
So
15:20
just
15:21
going
15:21
through
15:21
a
15:21
process
15:22
like
15:22
that
15:22
where
15:22
it's
15:22
mindless,
15:23
they
15:23
send
15:24
you
15:24
a
15:24
box,
15:24
you
15:24
look
15:25
at
15:25
it
15:25
a
15:25
subscription
15:26
based
15:27
and
15:27
it
15:27
is
15:28
way
15:28
cheaper
15:29
than
15:29
the
15:29
lawn
15:29
care
15:29
companies
15:30
out
15:30
there
15:31
that'll
15:31
come
15:31
by
15:31
and
15:32
spray
15:32
who
15:32
knows
15:32
what
15:33
across
15:33
your
15:33
lawn.
15:34
So
15:34
check
15:34
those,
15:35
those
15:35
guys
15:35
out
15:35
at
15:36
Lawn
15:36
Bright.
15:37
They've
15:37
really
15:37
been
15:37
my
15:37
secret
15:38
to
15:38
getting
15:38
my
15:38
lawn
15:38
looking
15:39
really
15:39
good.
15:40
Now
15:41
the
15:41
next
15:41
thing
15:41
in
15:42
is
15:42
here
15:42
is
15:42
watering.
15:43
And
15:44
watering
15:44
is
15:45
such
15:45
a
15:45
big
15:45
deal
15:46
depending
15:46
on
15:46
where
15:46
you're
15:46
at
15:46
in
15:47
the
15:47
country.
15:47
For
15:48
me,
15:49
we
15:49
have
15:49
in
15:50
the
15:50
Pacific
15:50
Northwest
15:51
where
15:51
I
15:51
live,
15:51
my
15:52
microclimate
15:52
here
15:53
is
15:53
that
15:54
we
15:54
have
15:54
everywhere
15:55
from
15:55
maybe
15:56
October
15:57
through
15:57
June
15:57
is
15:58
our
15:58
wet
15:58
season
15:59
and
16:00
the
16:00
rest
16:00
of
16:00
the
16:00
year
16:01
is
16:01
desert
16:01
dry
16:02
for
16:02
us,
16:02
which
16:02
makes
16:02
for
16:03
great
16:03
summers.
16:04
But
16:04
it
16:05
also
16:05
means
16:05
that
16:05
you've
16:06
got
16:06
a
16:06
lot
16:06
of
16:06
white
16:06
lawns
16:07
out
16:07
there.
16:08
And
16:08
so
16:08
really
16:09
for
16:09
me,
16:09
watering
16:10
is
16:10
a
16:11
key
16:11
to
16:11
making
16:11
sure
16:12
that
16:12
my
16:12
lawn
16:12
is
16:13
healthy.
16:13
And
16:14
then
16:14
for
16:14
me,
16:14
being
16:14
in
16:15
the
16:15
woods,
16:15
anytime
16:16
that
16:16
I've
16:16
got
16:16
something
16:17
dry,
16:17
white
16:18
that's
16:18
flammable,
16:19
that's
16:19
a
16:19
concern
16:20
for
16:20
me
16:20
for
16:20
wildfires.
16:22
So
16:22
to
16:22
me,
16:23
one
16:24
great
16:24
prevention
16:25
tool
16:25
is
16:25
to
16:25
have
16:26
a
16:26
greener
16:26
lawn.
16:27
That
16:27
way,
16:27
if
16:28
I
16:28
have
16:28
a
16:28
neighbor's
16:29
house
16:29
catching
16:29
on
16:29
fire,
16:30
I
16:30
don't
16:30
have
16:31
all
16:31
that
16:31
burnable
16:32
stuff
16:32
out
16:32
there.
16:33
So
16:33
making
16:33
sure
16:34
that
16:34
is
16:35
green,
16:35
that
16:36
is
16:36
lush,
16:37
looking
16:37
good
16:38
tends
16:38
to
16:38
cool
16:39
things
16:39
a
16:39
little
16:39
bit
16:39
versus
16:40
if
16:40
it
16:40
was
16:40
a
16:40
hardscape
16:41
out
16:41
there
16:41
for
16:42
me.
16:42
And
16:43
since
16:43
we're
16:43
not
16:43
on
16:43
any
16:44
water
16:44
restrictions
16:45
right
16:45
now,
16:45
we
16:45
don't
16:45
have
16:45
anything
16:46
like
16:46
that
16:46
going
16:46
on.
16:46
It
16:47
means
16:47
it's
16:47
going
16:48
to
16:48
work
16:48
out
16:48
pretty
16:48
well.
16:49
But
16:50
there
16:50
are
16:50
cool
16:51
systems
16:52
out
16:52
there.
16:52
If
16:53
you're
16:53
thinking
16:53
about
16:54
putting
16:54
in
16:54
a
16:54
new
16:54
sprinkler
16:55
system,
16:56
there's
16:56
Some
16:56
new
16:56
stuff
16:57
out
16:57
there
16:58
that
16:58
really
16:59
works
16:59
well.
17:00
Now,
17:00
if
17:00
you've
17:00
got
17:01
the
17:01
old
17:01
system
17:01
just
17:02
changing
17:02
out
17:02
and
17:02
putting
17:03
in
17:03
like
17:03
a
17:03
ratio
17:04
sprinkler
17:05
timer
17:05
or
17:05
one
17:06
of
17:06
those
17:06
can
17:06
be
17:06
a
17:06
game
17:07
changer
17:07
for
17:07
that
17:07
old
17:08
school
17:08
system
17:09
that
17:10
can
17:10
really
17:10
make
17:10
it
17:10
be
17:11
so
17:12
different
17:12
with
17:12
that.
17:13
So
17:13
it's
17:13
something
17:13
to
17:14
consider
17:15
if
17:15
you're
17:15
looking
17:16
at
17:17
changing
17:17
up
17:17
or
17:17
trying
17:18
to
17:18
save
17:18
water,
17:18
what
17:18
the
17:19
new
17:19
sprinkler
17:19
system
17:20
timers
17:20
do.
17:20
And
17:21
so
17:21
many
17:21
people
17:22
out
17:22
there
17:22
have
17:22
that
17:22
old
17:23
system
17:23
that
17:23
came
17:23
with
17:24
the
17:24
house.
17:24
Maybe
17:25
it's
17:25
an
17:25
old
17:25
Toro
17:26
one
17:26
or
17:26
whatever
17:26
you've
17:27
got
17:27
out
17:27
there.
17:27
Rain
17:27
bird.
17:28
If
17:29
you
17:29
change
17:29
out
17:29
to
17:30
one
17:30
of
17:30
these
17:30
smarter
17:30
systems,
17:31
it's
17:32
taking
17:32
weather
17:32
into
17:33
account.
17:33
So
17:33
it
17:33
logs
17:34
in,
17:34
uses
17:34
the
17:34
Internet.
17:35
It
17:35
knows
17:36
when
17:36
you're
17:36
getting
17:36
rain,
17:36
it
17:37
knows
17:37
how
17:37
much
17:37
rain
17:38
you're
17:38
getting.
17:39
So
17:39
instead
17:39
of
17:39
it,
17:39
instead
17:40
of
17:40
your
17:41
sprinklers
17:42
running
17:42
late
17:42
at
17:43
night
17:43
or
17:44
in
17:44
the
17:44
morning
17:45
and
17:45
it
17:45
just
17:46
rained
17:46
or
17:46
it's
17:46
raining,
17:47
it
17:47
knows
17:48
what's
17:48
going
17:48
on.
17:48
So
17:48
it'll
17:49
skip
17:49
ones.
17:50
So
17:50
it'll
17:50
keep
17:50
you
17:51
from
17:51
over
17:51
watering,
17:52
which
17:53
is
17:53
really
17:53
good.
17:54
So
17:54
it
17:54
saves
17:54
you
17:54
on
17:55
it.
17:55
When
17:55
I
17:56
changed
17:56
my
17:56
system
17:57
over,
17:58
I
17:58
actually
17:58
saved
17:59
about
17:59
21%
18:01
on
18:01
my
18:01
water
18:01
bill
18:02
the
18:03
next
18:03
year
18:04
because
18:05
of
18:05
my
18:06
sprinkler
18:06
use
18:07
with
18:07
smart
18:07
sprinkler
18:08
systems.
18:09
So
18:10
that
18:10
is
18:10
really
18:11
exciting.
18:11
It's
18:12
really
18:12
fun.
18:12
I
18:13
like
18:13
using
18:14
technology
18:14
for
18:14
something
18:15
like
18:15
this
18:15
because
18:16
it
18:16
really
18:16
saves
18:17
me
18:17
a
18:17
ton
18:17
of
18:18
water.
18:18
That's
18:19
the
18:19
cool
18:19
part
18:19
with
18:20
doing
18:20
this
18:21
saving
18:22
money
18:22
and
18:22
having
18:22
a
18:23
healthier
18:23
lawn.
18:24
Now,
18:24
here's
18:24
the
18:24
thing.
18:25
Making
18:26
sure
18:26
that
18:26
your
18:26
system,
18:27
if
18:27
you
18:27
got
18:27
an
18:28
existing
18:28
one,
18:28
put
18:28
in
18:29
that
18:29
new
18:30
timer,
18:31
get
18:31
all
18:32
the
18:32
valves
18:32
working
18:33
correctly,
18:33
everything
18:34
dialed
18:34
in.
18:35
Then
18:35
you're
18:35
going
18:35
to
18:35
be
18:35
good
18:36
to
18:36
go.
18:36
Make
18:37
sure
18:37
that
18:37
you're
18:37
not
18:38
wasting
18:38
stuff.
18:38
So
18:38
spend
18:39
a
18:39
little
18:39
time
18:39
getting
18:39
that
18:40
tuned
18:40
in
18:40
is
18:40
good
18:40
this
18:40
time
18:41
of
18:41
year.
18:42
Now
18:42
I
18:43
put
18:43
in
18:43
a
18:43
system
18:44
which
18:45
is
18:45
the
18:45
most
18:45
precise
18:46
irrigation
18:47
system
18:47
ever
18:48
designed.
18:48
It's
18:48
made
18:49
by
18:49
Ira
18:49
Green.
18:51
Now,
18:51
this
18:52
stuff
18:52
is
18:53
dumb
18:53
crazy.
18:54
It
18:55
basically,
18:55
if
18:55
I
18:56
was
18:56
going
18:56
to
18:56
put
18:57
this
18:57
into
18:58
a
18:58
description
18:59
that
18:59
everybody
19:00
could
19:00
understand,
19:00
Think
19:00
of
19:01
your
19:01
sprinkler
19:02
having
19:02
the
19:02
control
19:03
to
19:03
be
19:03
like
19:03
a
19:04
printer
19:04
head.
19:05
So
19:05
I
19:06
can
19:06
actually
19:07
have
19:07
a
19:08
square
19:08
lawn
19:09
that
19:09
it
19:10
will
19:10
sit
19:10
there
19:11
and
19:11
actually
19:13
sit
19:13
there
19:13
and
19:14
do
19:14
the
19:14
square.
19:14
It's
19:15
not
19:15
a
19:15
big
19:15
round
19:16
one.
19:16
So
19:17
it
19:17
can
19:17
give
19:17
you
19:18
hard
19:18
lines
19:19
of
19:19
water.
19:20
So
19:20
instead
19:21
of
19:21
needing
19:22
four
19:22
big
19:23
heads
19:23
in
19:23
a
19:23
square
19:25
that
19:25
over
19:25
waters
19:26
in
19:26
the
19:26
middle,
19:27
underwaters
19:28
on
19:28
the
19:28
outside,
19:29
I
19:29
can
19:30
put
19:30
in
19:30
the
19:30
ear
19:30
green
19:31
system
19:32
with
19:32
one
19:32
head
19:33
in
19:33
the
19:33
middle
19:33
of
19:34
that
19:34
square.
19:35
That
19:35
will
19:35
expand
19:37
and
19:37
go
19:37
out
19:38
to
19:38
the
19:38
corner
19:38
and
19:39
come
19:39
back
19:39
in.
19:40
So
19:40
it's
19:41
a
19:41
new
19:41
way
19:41
to
19:41
do
19:41
sprinkler
19:42
systems.
19:42
Now,
19:43
you
19:43
do
19:43
probably
19:44
want
19:44
to
19:44
do
19:44
that
19:44
system
19:45
new
19:46
because
19:46
instead
19:46
of
19:47
having
19:47
to
19:47
go
19:47
on
19:47
your
19:48
different
19:49
zones,
19:49
let's
19:50
say
19:50
you
19:51
have
19:51
one
19:52
line
19:52
that
19:52
goes.
19:53
You
19:53
have
19:53
a
19:53
pressurized
19:54
line
19:54
that's
19:55
always
19:55
on
19:55
that
19:55
goes
19:56
to
19:56
the
19:56
sprinkler.
19:57
Then
19:57
there's
19:57
a
19:57
data
19:58
cable
19:58
that
19:58
goes
19:59
in
19:59
that
19:59
same
20:00
hole
20:01
that
20:01
controls
20:01
that
20:02
sprinkler
20:02
head
20:02
like
20:02
a
20:03
printer.
20:04
So
20:04
that's
20:05
really
20:05
what
20:05
keeps
20:06
that
20:06
sprinkler
20:06
system
20:07
working.
20:07
That
20:08
saved
20:08
me
20:08
a
20:08
ton
20:08
of
20:08
money.
20:09
And
20:09
my
20:10
lawn
20:10
is
20:11
way
20:11
better.
20:11
I
20:11
don't
20:11
have
20:12
that
20:12
marshy
20:12
spot
20:12
in
20:13
the
20:13
middle.
20:13
I
20:14
don't
20:14
have
20:14
the
20:14
dry
20:14
spots
20:15
out
20:15
to
20:15
the
20:15
edges.
20:16
And
20:17
I
20:17
can
20:17
just
20:17
set
20:17
it
20:18
up
20:18
with
20:18
an
20:18
app.
20:18
It's
20:19
so
20:19
easy
20:19
to
20:20
use,
20:21
and
20:21
it's
20:21
a
20:21
great
20:22
way
20:22
to
20:22
go.
20:23
Now
20:23
you're
20:23
going
20:23
to
20:23
spend
20:24
a
20:24
little
20:24
more
20:24
money
20:24
on
20:25
it,
20:25
but
20:25
you're
20:26
not
20:26
going
20:26
to
20:26
be
20:26
buying
20:26
all
20:27
those
20:27
extra
20:27
sprinkler
20:28
heads
20:28
as
20:28
well.
20:29
So
20:30
it's
20:30
a
20:30
brilliant
20:30
system
20:31
that
20:31
works
20:32
well.
20:33
So
20:33
think
20:33
about
20:33
that.
20:34
It's
20:34
a
20:35
great
20:35
system,
20:35
can
20:35
save
20:35
you
20:36
a
20:36
ton
20:36
of
20:37
money.
20:38
So
20:38
that's
20:38
something
20:38
to
20:39
take
20:39
a
20:39
look
20:39
at.
20:39
Check
20:39

20:44

20:45

20:45
some
20:45
great
20:45
stuff
20:45
over
20:46
there.
20:46
And
20:47
where
20:47
sometimes
20:48
you
20:48
might
20:48
have
20:48
20
20:48
or
20:49
30
20:49
heads
20:49
on
20:49
the
20:50
sprinkler
20:50
system,
20:51
with
20:51
the
20:51
ear
20:52
green
20:52
system,
20:52
you
20:52
might
20:53
have
20:53
four
20:53
or
20:53
five
20:54
tops.
20:55
And
20:55
it's
20:55
that
20:56
crazy
20:56
on
20:57
how
20:57
this
20:57
works.
20:58
It's
20:58
really
20:58
exciting.
20:59
It's
20:59
something
20:59
that
21:00
I've
21:00
used
21:00
now
21:00
for,
21:01
oh,
21:01
a
21:01
season
21:02
and
21:02
a
21:02
half.
21:03
And
21:03
it
21:03
is
21:04
a
21:04
fully
21:04
engineered
21:05
system
21:05
that
21:05
you
21:06
can
21:06
use
21:06
your
21:06
smartphone
21:06
with
21:07
that
21:08
will
21:08
really
21:08
get
21:08
you
21:09
dialed
21:10
in.
21:10
So
21:10
these
21:10
heads
21:11
will
21:11
go
21:11
from
21:11
5ft
21:12
to
21:12
30ft.
21:13
That's
21:14
the
21:14
programmable
21:15
throw.
21:16
And
21:16
then
21:16
the
21:17
precipitation
21:18
rate,
21:18
that's
21:19
software
21:19
controlled,
21:20
can
21:20
go
21:20
anywhere
21:21
from
21:21
2
21:21

21:22
to
21:22

21:22
1/2
21:23

21:23

21:24

21:24
right,
21:24
when
21:24
we
21:25

21:25
back,
21:25

23:42

23:42
better

cook

outdoors.
23:44
Now,
23:45
we've
23:45
been
23:45
talking
23:45
about
23:46
yard
23:46
care
23:46
maintenance
23:47
tips
23:47
outside
23:48
and
23:48
I
23:49
wanted
23:49
to
23:49
wrap
23:49
up
23:49
just
23:50
the
23:50
yard
23:50
care
23:50
piece
23:51
right
23:51
here
23:51
that
23:51
we
23:52
were
23:52
talking
23:52
about
23:52
earlier
23:53
in
23:53
the
23:53
last
23:53
segments
23:54
because
23:55
here's
23:55
the
23:55
thing.
23:55
Part
23:56
of
23:56
having
23:56
a
23:56
great
23:56
lawn
23:57
care
23:58
maintenance
23:58
schedule
23:59
is
23:59
to
23:59
make
23:59
sure
23:59
that
24:00
you've
24:00
got
24:00
that
24:00
lawnmower
24:01
dialed
24:01
in.
24:02
If
24:02
you're
24:03
out
24:03
there
24:03
with
24:03
a
24:04
dull
24:04
blade,
24:05
when
24:05
was
24:05
the
24:05
last
24:06
time
24:06
you
24:06
had
24:06
that
24:06
blade
24:07
sharpened?
24:08
Was
24:08
it
24:08
this
24:09
year?
24:09
Was
24:09
it
24:09
last
24:10
year?
24:10
If
24:10
not,
24:11
I
24:11
just
24:11
about
24:12
guarantee
24:12
that
24:12
thing
24:13
needs
24:13
a
24:13
little
24:14
bit
24:14
of
24:14
love.
24:15
So
24:16
take
24:16
some
24:16
time,
24:16
get
24:17
it
24:17
sharpened,
24:18
make
24:18
sure
24:18
it's
24:18
balanced,
24:19
take
24:19
a
24:20
look
24:20
around.
24:21
What
24:21
I
24:21
usually
24:22
do
24:22
on
24:22
my
24:22
lawnmowers
24:23
is
24:23
I
24:24
have
24:24
a,
24:25
depending
24:25
on
24:25
the
24:25
one
24:25
I've
24:26
got,
24:26
I
24:26
usually
24:26
have
24:26
two
24:26
sets
24:27
of
24:27
blades.
24:27
I
24:27
have
24:27
one
24:28
I
24:28
can
24:28
take
24:28
down
24:29
and
24:29
have
24:29
a
24:30
sharpened,
24:31
balanced,
24:32
ready
24:32
to
24:32
go.
24:33
So
24:33
when
24:33
I
24:33
swap
24:34
them
24:34
out,
24:34
I'll
24:34
just
24:34
run
24:35
it
24:35
down,
24:35
drop
24:35
it
24:35
off,
24:36
pick
24:36
it
24:36
up
24:36
later,
24:37
make
24:37
sure
24:37
it's
24:38
done.
24:38
Can
24:38
I
24:38
get
24:38
it
24:38
in
24:39
there
24:39
and
24:39
get
24:39
on
24:39
it
24:40
with
24:40
a
24:40
little
24:40
bit
24:40
of
24:41
a
24:41
level,
24:41
any
24:42
kind
24:42
of
24:42
a
24:42
balance
24:43
and
24:44
hit
24:44
it
24:44
with
24:44
a
24:44
grinder
24:45
and
24:45
some
24:45
stones?
24:46
Sure,
24:46
I
24:47
could,
24:48
but
24:48
it's
24:48
just
24:48
easier
24:48
for
24:49
me
24:49
to
24:49
drop
24:49
it
24:49
down
24:49
there.
24:50
Give
24:50
a
24:50
local
24:50
company
24:51
some
24:51
business
24:51
they
24:51
can
24:52
go
24:52
through,
24:52
get
24:52
it
24:52
dialed
24:52
in
24:53
and
24:54
make
24:54
sure
24:54
you
24:54
get
24:54
the
24:55
right
24:55
blade
24:55
for
24:55
the
24:56
situation
24:56
you've
24:56
got.
24:57
Having
24:58
that
24:58
sharp
24:58
blade
24:59
really
24:59
makes
24:59
a
24:59
difference
25:00
on
25:00
the
25:00
quality
25:01
of
25:01
your
25:01
lawn
25:02
because
25:02
that
25:02
sharp
25:02
blade
25:03
is
25:03
going
25:03
to
25:03
look
25:03
really
25:03
good
25:04
when
25:04
you
25:05
go
25:05
through
25:05
and
25:05
it
25:05
cuts
25:06
clean
25:06
and
25:06
it's
25:06
just
25:06
going
25:07
to
25:07
have
25:07
a
25:07
better
25:07
looking
25:08
lawn.
25:08
That's
25:09
the
25:09
secret
25:09
to
25:09
that.
25:10
So
25:10
little
25:10
maintenance
25:11
on
25:11
that,
25:12
you'll
25:12
be
25:12
good
25:12
to
25:12
go.
25:13
So
25:14
that's
25:14
the
25:14
key.
25:15
Keep
25:15
that
25:15
blade
25:16
nice
25:16
and
25:16
sharp.
25:17
And
25:17
if
25:17
it's
25:18
a
25:18
gas
25:18
power
25:18
runner,
25:19
make
25:20
sure
25:20
it's
25:20
running
25:20
good,
25:21
make
25:21
sure
25:21
it's
25:21
got
25:21
the
25:21
power,
25:22
it's
25:22
not
25:22
getting
25:23
bogged
25:23
down
25:23
because
25:23
as
25:24
you
25:24
get
25:24
that
25:24
lawn
25:25
thicker,
25:25
you
25:26
make
25:26
sure
25:26
you
25:26
got
25:26
the
25:26
lawnmower
25:27
that's
25:27
going
25:27
to
25:27
handle
25:27
it.
25:28
And
25:29
that's
25:29
a
25:29
good
25:30
one.
25:31
Now,
25:31
I'm
25:31
not
25:31
going
25:32
to
25:32
get
25:32
so
25:32
much
25:32
into
25:33
the
25:33
debate
25:33
of
25:33
electric
25:34
versus
25:34
gas
25:35
because
25:35
that's
25:35
pretty
25:35
controversial.
25:37
I
25:37
changed
25:37
over
25:38
to
25:38
electric
25:39
a
25:39
number
25:39
of
25:39
years
25:39
ago
25:40
with
25:40
a
25:40
battery
25:41
power.
25:41
I
25:41
went
25:42
with
25:42
Greenworks
25:42
at
25:43
the
25:43
time
25:43
because
25:43
I
25:43
was
25:43
working
25:44
some
25:45
videos
25:45
with
25:45
them
25:45
which
25:46
are
25:46
up
25:46
on
25:46
the
25:46
YouTube
25:46
channel.
25:47
Those
25:48
lawnmowers
25:48
have
25:48
been
25:48
great.
25:49
Haven't
25:49
had
25:50
an
25:50
issue
25:50
with
25:50
them.
25:50
They've
25:51
been
25:51
great.
25:51
The
25:51
batteries
25:52
work
25:52
great.
25:53
I
25:53
don't
25:53
have
25:53
a
25:53
problem
25:54
with
25:55
mowing
25:56
my
25:56
lawn
25:56
and
25:56
I'm
25:57
on
25:57
almost
25:57
a
25:57
half
25:57
acre,
25:58
so
25:59
I've
25:59
got
25:59
plenty
25:59
of
26:00
lawn
26:00
and
26:01
something
26:02
easy
26:03
knocks
26:03
it
26:03
out.
26:04
Not
26:04
a
26:04
problem.
26:05
And
26:05
I
26:05
don't
26:05
have
26:05
to
26:06
worry
26:06
about
26:06
gas
26:06
or
26:06
oil
26:07
changes
26:07
and
26:07
that
26:07
stuff.
26:08
It
26:08
makes
26:08
it
26:08
easy.
26:08
And
26:09
I
26:09
get
26:09
a
26:09
lot
26:09
more
26:09
storage
26:10
because
26:10
I
26:10
can
26:10
fold
26:10
that
26:10
lawnmower
26:11
up
26:11
and
26:12
put
26:12
it
26:12
on
26:12
its
26:12
side
26:13
or
26:13
on
26:13
its
26:13
back,
26:14
depending
26:14
on
26:14
how
26:14
they
26:14
work.
26:15
Mine
26:15
folds
26:16
up,
26:16
takes
26:16
a
26:17
corner
26:17
of
26:17
the
26:17
shed
26:17
up.
26:18
So
26:18
it's
26:18
very
26:18
easy
26:19
that
26:19
way.
26:19
Something
26:20
to
26:20
consider.
26:21
But
26:22
I've
26:22
gone
26:22
electric
26:23
and
26:23
did
26:23
that
26:24
probably
26:24
five
26:24
years
26:25
ago
26:25
and
26:25
I
26:25
do
26:25
not
26:26
regret
26:26
it.
26:27
It
26:27
has
26:27
worked
26:28
well
26:28
for
26:28
me.
26:29
And
26:29
if
26:29
you've
26:29
got
26:29
a
26:29
power
26:30
tool
26:30
platform,
26:31
whether
26:31
it's
26:31
Dewalt
26:31
or
26:32
Milwaukee
26:33
or
26:33
Ryobi,
26:34
they
26:34
all
26:34
have
26:34
them
26:34
that
26:34
fit
26:35
their
26:35
systems.
26:35
So
26:35
take
26:36
a
26:36
look
26:36
out
26:36
there
26:36
and
26:36
see
26:36
what
26:37
you
26:37
have.
26:37
If
26:37
it
26:37
would
26:37
work,
26:38
it's
26:38
not
26:39
a
26:39
bad
26:39
way
26:39
to
26:39
go.
26:40
And
26:40
I'm
26:41
doing
26:41
it
26:41
because
26:41
it's
26:41
easy.
26:42
Of
26:43
course
26:43
I
26:43
want
26:43
to
26:43
be
26:43
nicer
26:43
to
26:44
the
26:44
environment,
26:44
but
26:44
that's
26:44
not
26:45
the
26:45
reason
26:45
why
26:45
I
26:45
went
26:45
and
26:45
I
26:46
wanted
26:46
to
26:46
have
26:46
something
26:46
that
26:46
was
26:46
going
26:47
to
26:47
be
26:47
easy,
26:48
cleaner,
26:48
less
26:49
maintenance.
26:50
And
26:50
speak
26:51
of
26:51
maintenance,
26:52
I
26:52
tested
26:53
out
26:53
a
26:53
product
26:53
here
26:54
and
26:54
again
26:54
I
26:55
have
26:55
no
26:55
contact
26:55
with
26:55
these
26:56
guys.
26:56
They
26:56
used
26:56
to
26:56
be
26:57
a
26:57
Portland
26:57
based
26:57
company.
26:58
Now
26:59
a
26:59
larger
26:59
company
27:00
bought
27:00
them
27:00
out.
27:01
Their
27:01
former
27:02
sponsor
27:02
of
27:02
the
27:03
show,
27:03
30
27:03
seconds
27:03
outdoor
27:04
cleaner.
27:05
And
27:05
I
27:05
always
27:06
had
27:06
some
27:06
mixed,
27:07
mixed
27:08
reviews
27:08
for
27:09
my
27:09
use
27:09
of
27:09
that
27:09
stuff.
27:10
It
27:10
didn't
27:10
always
27:10
work
27:11
as
27:11
good
27:11
as
27:11
I
27:11
had
27:11
hoped.
27:12
But
27:13
they
27:13
have
27:13
a
27:13
new
27:13
cleaner
27:14
that
27:14
is
27:15
like
27:15
a
27:15
pressure
27:16
washer
27:16
in
27:16
a
27:17
bottle.
27:18
And
27:18
I
27:18
was
27:18
shocked.
27:19
Did
27:20
a
27:20
segment
27:20
here
27:20
recently
27:21
on
27:21
for
27:21
my
27:22
around
27:22
the
27:22
house
27:23
show,
27:23
the
27:24
around
27:24
the
27:24
house
27:24
Northwest
27:25
television
27:25
show.
27:26
And
27:26
I
27:26
bought
27:26
this
27:26
stuff
27:27
from
27:27
Home
27:27
Depot
27:28
1998.
27:29
In
27:30
my
27:30
market
27:30
it
27:30
is
27:30
the
27:31
30
27:31
seconds
27:32
outdoor
27:33
multi
27:33
surface
27:34
Cleaner
27:34
ready
27:35
to
27:35
use.
27:35
So
27:35
it's
27:35
a
27:35
hose
27:36
end
27:36
for
27:37
20
27:37
bucks.
27:38
I
27:38
sprayed
27:39
this
27:39
on
27:39
my
27:39
composite
27:40
deck,
27:41
let
27:41
it
27:41
soak,
27:42
followed
27:42
the
27:42
directions.
27:42
I
27:43
took
27:43
a
27:43
little
27:43
scrub
27:43
brush
27:44
just
27:44
to
27:44
make
27:44
sure
27:44
I
27:44
got
27:44
the
27:45
stuff.
27:46
Holy
27:47
smokes.
27:48
In
27:48
20
27:48
minutes
27:49
it
27:50
did
27:50
what
27:50
two
27:50
hours
27:51
of
27:51
pressure
27:51
washing,
27:52
of
27:53
careful
27:53
pressure
27:54
washing
27:54
would
27:54
have
27:55
been
27:55
on
27:55
the
27:55
deck
27:56
because
27:56
I
27:56
hate
27:57
pressure
27:57
Washing
27:58
on
27:59
soft
27:59
surfaces
27:59
like
28:00
composites,
28:00
it's
28:00
always
28:01
dangerous,
28:01
you
28:01
can
28:01
always
28:02
do
28:02
damage.
28:03
This
28:03
stuff
28:03
worked
28:04
so
28:05
good
28:06
and
28:06
it
28:06
is
28:07
good
28:07
for
28:07
stain
28:07
removals
28:08
on
28:08
decks,
28:09
patios,
28:09
roofs,
28:10
fences.
28:11
This
28:11
stuff
28:12
works
28:12
amazing.
28:13
So
28:13
basically
28:14
all
28:14
you
28:14
do
28:14
is
28:15
attach
28:15
the
28:15
garden
28:15
hose,
28:16
turn
28:16
the
28:16
water
28:16
on,
28:17
saturate
28:18
the
28:18
dry
28:18
surface
28:19
with
28:19
the
28:19
product
28:19
and
28:19
let
28:20
it
28:20
sit.
28:21
Then
28:21
you're
28:21
just
28:21
going
28:21
to
28:21
twist
28:22
that
28:22
on
28:22
it,
28:22
rinse
28:23
it
28:23
off
28:24
and
28:25
it
28:26
takes,
28:26
it
28:27
just
28:27
kills
28:28
dirt,
28:29
algae,
28:30
mold,
28:30
mildew,
28:31
all
28:31
the
28:31
stuff
28:31
I
28:32
get
28:32
on
28:33
my
28:33
deck
28:34
outside,
28:34
it
28:35
works
28:35
really
28:35
good
28:36
and
28:36
it's
28:37
safe
28:37
around
28:37
your
28:37
garden
28:38
plants,
28:38
lawn,
28:39
that
28:39
kind
28:39
of
28:39
stuff.
28:39
So
28:39
it's
28:40
not,
28:40
it's
28:40
not
28:41
going
28:41
to
28:41
be
28:41
an
28:41
issue
28:42
there.
28:43
But
28:43
I
28:43
tell
28:43
you
28:43
what,
28:44
that
28:45
stuff
28:45
works
28:46
amazing
28:46
on
28:47
the
28:47
dirt
28:47
in
28:47
grime
28:48
in
28:48
my
28:48
area.
28:49
So
28:50
I'm
28:50
not
28:50
sure
28:50
what's
28:50
gonna
28:51
happen
28:51
in
28:51
your
28:51
area,
28:51
but
28:52
whoo,
28:53
that
28:53
stuff
28:54
works
28:54
killer.
28:55
So
28:56
I
28:56
tell
28:56
you
28:56
what,
28:57
it
28:57
worked
28:57
really
28:57
good.
28:58
Now
28:58
the
28:58
key
28:58
with
28:58
a
28:58
lot
28:59
of
28:59
these
28:59
cleaners
28:59
is
28:59
it
29:00
says
29:00
you
29:00
wanna
29:00
work
29:00
on
29:00
it
29:00
when
29:01
it's
29:01
dry.
29:02
So
29:03
worked
29:03
out
29:03
good.
29:04
So
29:05
this
29:05
is
29:05
stuff
29:05
that
29:06
I
29:06
would
29:06
work.
29:07
I
29:07
think
29:07
there's
29:07
one
29:07
bad
29:08
review
29:08
on
29:08
it,
29:08
but
29:08
I
29:08
tell
29:09
you
29:09
what,
29:09
it's
29:09
just
29:10
awesome.
29:10
That
29:10
stuff
29:11
just
29:11
works
29:11
beautifully.
29:12
And
29:13
I
29:13
tell
29:13
you
29:13
what,
29:14
it
29:14
could
29:14
not
29:14
be
29:15
any
29:15
better
29:15
of
29:16
a
29:16
product
29:16
to
29:16
use.
29:16
It
29:17
was
29:17
saving
29:17
me
29:18
so
29:18
much
29:18
time
29:19
and
29:19
anytime
29:20
I
29:20
can
29:20
get
29:20
something
29:21
that's
29:21
gonna
29:21
clean
29:21
up
29:22
and
29:22
if
29:22
I
29:23
don't
29:23
have
29:23
to
29:23
drag
29:23
the
29:24
pressure
29:24
washer
29:24
out
29:25
and
29:25
make
29:25
a
29:26
big
29:26
battle
29:26
of
29:26
that,
29:27
I'm
29:27
super
29:28
happy.
29:29
So
29:29
take
29:29
a
29:29
look
29:29
at
29:30
it.
29:30
It's
29:30
the
29:30
64
29:31
ounce
29:31
outdoor
29:31
multi
29:32
service
29:32
RTS
29:33
cleaner.
29:33
They
29:33
have
29:33
no
29:34
idea
29:34
I'm
29:34
talking
29:34
about
29:34
it.
29:35
This
29:35
is
29:35
not
29:35
a
29:35
commercial
29:35
in
29:36
the
29:36
show.
29:37
It's
29:37
just
29:37
a
29:37
great
29:37
product
29:38
out
29:38
there
29:38
that
29:38
works
29:39
super
29:39
well.
29:39
So
29:40
I'm
29:40
very
29:40
happy
29:40
with
29:41
it
29:41
and
29:42
it's
29:42
really
29:43
done
29:43
a
29:43
great
29:43
job.
29:44
So
29:44
as
29:44
long
29:44
as
29:44
you
29:44
follow
29:45
the
29:45
directions,
29:46
which
29:46
I
29:46
think
29:46
is
29:47
the
29:47
biggest
29:47
key
29:47
with
29:47
people
29:48
out
29:48
there,
29:49
it
29:49
just
29:49
works
29:50
well
29:50
and
29:51
it's
29:51
cost
29:51
effective.
29:52
So
29:52
take
29:52
a
29:52
look
29:52
at
29:53
it.
29:53
It
29:53
comes
29:54
out
29:54
of
29:54
there
29:54
pretty
29:54
quick.
29:55
Here's
29:55
the
29:55
thing,
29:55
there's
29:55
a
29:55
lot
29:56
of
29:56
it.
29:56
It's
29:56
not
29:56
going
29:56
to
29:56
do
29:56
a
29:56
huge,
29:57
huge
29:57
one.
29:57
You
29:57
might
29:57
have
29:58
to
29:58
get
29:58
a
29:58
couple
29:58
or
29:58
get
29:58
at
29:59
least
30:00
the
30:00
bottle
30:00
of
30:01
the
30:01
radio,
30:01
the
30:01
of
30:02
the
30:02
regular
30:02
cleaner
30:02
to
30:02
go
30:03
with
30:03
it.
30:03
They
30:03
do
30:03
have.
30:03
The
30:04
stuff
30:05
just
30:05
works
30:05
really
30:06
good.
30:06
So
30:06
take
30:06
some
30:06
time
30:07
with
30:07
that.
30:07
You'll
30:07
be
30:08
very
30:08
impressed.
30:10
Now
30:10
here's
30:10
one
30:10
thing
30:11
I
30:11
wanted
30:11
to
30:11
talk
30:11
about
30:12
with
30:12
our
30:12
lawn
30:13
care
30:14
that
30:14
I
30:14
didn't
30:14
talk
30:15
about
30:15
earlier
30:15
that
30:15
I
30:15
meant
30:16
to
30:16
talk
30:16
about
30:16
in
30:16
the
30:17
show,
30:17
and
30:18
we'll
30:18
talk
30:18
more
30:18
about
30:18
it
30:19
here
30:19
in
30:19
the
30:19
next
30:19
segment.
30:20
But
30:20
this
30:20
is
30:20
an
30:20
important
30:21
one.
30:22
If
30:22
you
30:22
have
30:23
clay
30:23
soil
30:24
and
30:25
don't
30:25
have
30:25
a
30:25
basement,
30:26
this
30:27
is
30:27
something
30:27
to
30:27
consider
30:29
with
30:29
a
30:29
regular
30:30
foundation
30:30
system.
30:31
I
30:31
have
30:31
worked
30:32
with
30:32
engineers
30:33
on
30:33
houses
30:33
that
30:34
had
30:34
cracks
30:34
in
30:34
their
30:34
concrete
30:35
or
30:35
block
30:36
foundation.
30:37
Now,
30:37
if
30:37
they
30:37
were
30:38
built
30:38
on
30:38
clay
30:38
soil,
30:39
they
30:39
don't
30:39
dig
30:39
down
30:39
and
30:40
put
30:40
it
30:40
down
30:40
into
30:40
bedrock.
30:41
So
30:41
that
30:41
house
30:41
is
30:41
sitting
30:42
on
30:42
clay
30:42
soil.
30:43
If
30:43
you
30:44
go
30:44
through
30:44
and
30:45
don't
30:46
water
30:46
your
30:47
lawn
30:47
during
30:48
a
30:48
period
30:48
of
30:48
time
30:49
when
30:49
it's
30:49
dry,
30:50
that
30:50
clay
30:51
soil
30:51
can
30:51
shrink
30:52
and
30:52
crack,
30:53
which
30:53
means
30:54
your
30:54
house
30:54
will
30:54
settle.
30:55
And
30:56
the
30:56
next
30:56
time
30:57
when
30:57
it
30:57
gets
30:57
wet,
30:58
it
30:58
will
30:58
expand.
31:00
So
31:00
be
31:00
very
31:01
careful
31:01
with
31:02
your
31:02
house.
31:03
Be
31:03
very
31:04
careful
31:04
with
31:04
your
31:04
foundation,
31:06
because
31:06
that
31:07
can
31:07
lead
31:07
to
31:07
foundation
31:08
damage.
31:09
So
31:09
even
31:10
if
31:10
you're
31:10
not
31:10
going
31:10
to
31:11
water
31:11
your
31:11
lawn
31:12
during
31:12
your
31:12
dry
31:13
season
31:13
and
31:13
you're
31:13
on
31:14
clay
31:14
soil,
31:15
think
31:15
about
31:16
it,
31:16
how
31:16
it
31:17
works,
31:17
because
31:18
you
31:18
want
31:18
to
31:18
keep
31:18
that
31:19
clay
31:19
soil
31:20
balanced
31:21
so
31:21
it's
31:22
always
31:23
somewhat
31:23
damp
31:24
so
31:24
it
31:24
doesn't
31:24
have
31:24
a
31:25
chance
31:25
to
31:25
shrink
31:26
up
31:26
like
31:26
a
31:26
dry
31:27
kitchen
31:27
sponge.
31:28
So
31:28
whether
31:28
or
31:28
not
31:29
you're
31:29
putting
31:29
a
31:29
soaker
31:30
hose
31:30
around
31:30
the
31:31
base
31:31
of
31:31
the
31:31
foundation
31:32
there
31:32
to
31:32
keep
31:32
it
31:32
damp
31:33
or
31:33
what,
31:34
make
31:35
sure
31:35
that
31:35
you've
31:35
got
31:36
that
31:36
so
31:36
it's
31:36
not
31:37
expanding
31:38
and
31:38
contracting.
31:39
That'll
31:40
be
31:40
easier
31:40
on
31:40
the
31:40
inside
31:40
of
31:41
your
31:41
house.
31:41
You
31:41
won't
31:41
have
31:41
to
31:41
worry
31:42
about
31:42
all
31:42
of
31:42
those
31:43
little
31:44
cracks
31:45
checks,
31:46
all
31:46
that
31:47
different
31:47
stuff,
31:47
busted
31:48
drywall,
31:49
cracked
31:49
drywall,
31:50
and
31:50
of
31:50
course,
31:50
that
31:51
broken
31:51
foundation
31:51
around
31:52
the
31:52
vents
31:53
and
31:53
all
31:53
those
31:53
places
31:53
around.
31:54
So
31:54
take
31:54
some
31:55
time.
31:55
Make
31:56
sure
31:56
if
31:56
you're
31:56
on
31:56
clay
31:57
soil,
31:57
keep
31:57
an
31:57
eye
31:58
on
31:58
that.
31:58
If
31:58
you're
31:58
getting
31:58
it
31:59
where
31:59
you're
31:59
starting
31:59
to
31:59
see
31:59
the
31:59
cracks
32:00
because
32:01
you're
32:01
not
32:01
watering
32:01
enough,
32:02
that
32:02
can
32:02
cause
32:03
foundation
32:03
damage
32:04
to
32:04
your
32:04
house.
32:04
So
32:04
be
32:05
very
32:05
careful
32:06
with
32:06
that
32:06
and
32:07
it
32:07
can
32:07
save
32:07
you
32:07
a
32:07
ton
32:08
of
32:08
money
32:08
so
32:09
you
32:09
can
32:09
get
32:09
that
32:09
repaired
32:10
and
32:10
keep
32:10
that
32:11
damp
32:11
around
32:11
there.
32:12
It
32:12
will
32:12
be
32:13
better
32:13
for
32:13
your
32:13
home
32:13
and
32:13
you'll
32:14
have
32:14
less
32:14
problems
32:15
inside.
32:16
That's
32:17
a
32:17
key
32:17
right
32:17
there
32:17
to
32:18
making
32:18
sure
32:18
you've
32:18
got
32:18
that
32:18
house
32:19
dialed
32:19
in
32:19
so
32:20
it'll
32:20
really
32:21
prevent
32:22
a
32:22
lot
32:22
of
32:22
those
32:23
cracks
32:23
around
32:23
doors
32:23
and
32:24
windows.
32:24
And
32:24
things
32:24
like
32:25
that
32:25
happen
32:25
in
32:25
older
32:26
homes.
32:27
Just
32:27
a
32:27
little
32:28
water
32:28
can
32:28
go
32:29
a
32:29
long
32:29
way.
32:29
All
32:30
right,
32:30
everybody,
32:30
when
32:30
we
32:30
come
32:30
back,
32:31
we're
32:31
going
32:31
to
32:31
wrap
32:31
up
32:31
our
32:32
yard
32:32
care
32:32
and
32:33
maintenance
32:33
tips
32:33
here
32:34
to
32:34
make
32:34
sure
32:34
that
32:34
your
32:35
house
32:35
is
32:35
ready
32:36
for
32:36
a
32:36
beautiful
32:37
summertime.
32:38
We'll
32:38
do
32:38
that
32:38
just
32:38
as
32:39
soon
32:39
as
32:39
around
32:39
the
32:39
House
32:40
returns.
32:40
Don't
32:41
go
32:41
anywhere.
32:42
To
32:42
find
32:42
out
32:43
more
32:43
information,
32:43
head
32:44
to
32:44
aroundthehouse
32:45
online.com
32:46
don't
32:46
change
32:47
that
32:47
dial.
32:48
Around
32:48
the
32:48
House.
32:48
We'll
32:49
be
32:49
right
32:49
back
32:49
after
32:49
these
32:50
important
32:50
messages.
34:31
Welcome
34:31
back
34:32
to
34:32
the
34:32
around
34:32
the
34:32
House
34:32
show,
34:33
the
34:33
next
34:33
generation
34:33
generation
34:34
of
34:34
home
34:34
improvement.
34:35
I'm
34:35
Eric
34:35
G.
34:36
Thanks
34:36
for
34:36
joining
34:36
me
34:36
today.
34:37
We've
34:37
been
34:37
talking
34:38
about
34:38
that
34:38
lawn
34:38
care
34:39
homespring
34:40
maintenance
34:40
tips
34:41
outside.
34:42
In
34:42
the
34:42
first
34:42
segment,
34:43
we
34:43
did
34:43
talk
34:43
a
34:43
little
34:43
bit
34:44
about
34:44
indoor
34:44
air
34:44
quality,
34:45
making
34:45
sure
34:45
that
34:45
your
34:46
allergies
34:46
are
34:46
solid.
34:47
One
34:47
little
34:48
addition
34:48
on
34:48
that,
34:49
when
34:49
you
34:49
come
34:50
inside
34:50
from
34:51
doing
34:51
all
34:51
that
34:51
lawn
34:52
work,
34:52
drop
34:53
your
34:53
clothes
34:53
off,
34:54
keep
34:55
from
34:55
dragging
34:55
that
34:55
inside,
34:56
go
34:56
take
34:56
a
34:56
nice
34:56
shower,
34:57
get
34:57
yourself
34:57
cleaned
34:58
up
34:58
and
34:59
leave
34:59
those
35:00
shoes
35:00
at
35:00
the
35:00
door,
35:00
not
35:01
walk
35:01
them
35:01
through
35:01
the
35:01
house
35:02
because
35:02
that
35:02
will
35:02
cut
35:02
down
35:03
on
35:03
those
35:03
indoor
35:04
pollutants.
35:05
Now,
35:05
one
35:06
thing
35:06
here
35:06
we've
35:06
been
35:06
talking
35:06
about
35:07
is
35:08
we
35:08
were
35:08
just
35:08
talking
35:08
about
35:09
foundation
35:09
damage.
35:10
We
35:10
were
35:10
talking
35:10
about
35:11
indoor
35:11
air
35:11
quality
35:12
earlier,
35:12
just
35:12
with
35:12
the
35:12
spring
35:13
allergies.
35:14
But
35:14
one
35:14
thing
35:15
I
35:15
wanted
35:15
to
35:15
talk
35:15
about
35:16
is
35:17
prevention
35:18
and
35:19
some
35:19
maintenance
35:19
while
35:20
you're
35:20
outside.
35:21
Prevention.
35:22
I'm
35:22
talking
35:22
about
35:23
most
35:24
places
35:24
in
35:24
the
35:24
country
35:25
now
35:25
have
35:25
a
35:25
wildfire
35:26
risk.
35:26
We
35:26
saw
35:26
New
35:27
Jersey
35:27
have
35:27
it
35:27
on.
35:27
We've
35:28
seen
35:28
Florida.
35:28
We've
35:29
seen,
35:29
of
35:29
course,
35:30
here
35:30
on
35:30
the
35:30
west
35:30
coast,
35:31
it's
35:31
big.
35:32
Maybe
35:32
think
35:32
about
35:33
not
35:33
putting
35:33
that
35:34
bark,
35:34
mulch
35:35
or
35:35
flammable
35:36
stuff
35:36
up
35:36
against
35:37
the
35:37
foundation.
35:38
Maybe
35:38
that's
35:38
a
35:38
great
35:38
place
35:39
for
35:39
some
35:39
rock.
35:40
Something
35:40
not
35:41
flammable.
35:42
Make
35:42
sure
35:42
if
35:42
you're
35:43
doing
35:43
some
35:43
fence
35:43
repairs
35:44
or
35:44
replacing
35:45
fences,
35:46
don't
35:46
worry
35:46
about
35:47
it.
35:47
Put
35:48
a
35:48
metal
35:48
fence
35:48
in
35:49
for
35:49
six
35:49
or
35:50
eight
35:50
feet
35:50
there
35:50
up
35:51
to
35:51
that,
35:52
up
35:52
to
35:53
the
35:53
house,
35:53
make
35:54
it
35:54
a
35:54
firebreak.
35:55
Maybe
35:56
you
35:56
put
35:56
in
35:56
a
35:56
metal
35:57
gate.
35:58
You
35:58
can
35:58
do
35:58
that
35:58
as
35:59
well.
35:59
These
36:00
are
36:00
all
36:00
things
36:01
that
36:01
will
36:01
help
36:02
you
36:02
in
36:03
case
36:03
maybe
36:04
you've
36:04
got
36:04
a
36:04
neighbor
36:05
who
36:06
catches
36:06
their
36:06
house
36:06
on
36:07
fire
36:07
from
36:07
the
36:07
barbecue
36:08
and
36:08
the
36:08
fence
36:08
catches
36:09
on
36:09
fire.
36:09
That
36:09
way
36:09
it's
36:09
not
36:09
a
36:10
road
36:10
right
36:10
up
36:10
to
36:10
your
36:10
house.
36:11
We've
36:11
talked
36:11
about
36:11
this
36:12
in
36:12
other
36:12
episodes,
36:13
but
36:13
really
36:14
making
36:14
sure
36:14
that
36:14
you
36:14
don't
36:14
have
36:14
anything
36:15
flammable
36:15
up
36:15
against
36:16
the
36:16
house
36:16
is
36:16
key.
36:17
And
36:17
now's
36:18
a
36:18
good
36:18
time
36:18
too.
36:18
As
36:19
the
36:19
leaves
36:19
are
36:19
coming
36:19
out
36:20
and
36:21
all
36:21
the
36:21
flowering
36:21
bushes
36:22
and
36:22
plants,
36:22
make
36:23
sure
36:23
that
36:23
those
36:23
things
36:23
are
36:23
trimmed
36:24
well,
36:24
back
36:24
away
36:25
from
36:25
the
36:25
house
36:26
so
36:26
even
36:26
in
36:26
a
36:27
windstorm
36:27
they're
36:27
not
36:27
bouncing
36:28
up,
36:28
doing
36:28
damage
36:28
to
36:28
windows,
36:29
doors,
36:29
siding,
36:30
roofs,
36:30
gutters.
36:31
Keep
36:32
that
36:32
stuff
36:33
dialed
36:33
in
36:34
and
36:34
looking
36:34
good.
36:35
That
36:35
can
36:35
be
36:35
a
36:35
huge
36:36
difference,
36:37
especially
36:37
if
36:37
you're
36:38
out
36:38
there
36:38
doing
36:38
painting
36:39
and
36:39
touch
36:39
up
36:39
stuff.
36:40
Making
36:40
sure
36:40
that
36:41
those
36:41
things
36:41
don't
36:41
get
36:41
there
36:42
keeps
36:42
the
36:42
bugs
36:43
and
36:43
the
36:43
rodents
36:44
down
36:44
because
36:44
it
36:44
doesn't
36:45
give
36:45
them
36:45
a
36:45
clean
36:46
line
36:46
right
36:46
onto
36:46
your
36:47
roof.
36:47
So
36:48
These
36:48
are
36:48
things
36:48
you
36:48
can
36:48
really
36:49
take
36:49
spend
36:50
some
36:50
time
36:50
on
36:51
to
36:51
make
36:51
sure
36:52
that
36:52
you
36:53
are
36:53
good
36:53
to
36:54
go.
36:54
And
36:55
a
36:55
little
36:55
bit
36:55
of
36:55
trimming
36:56
goes
36:56
a
36:56
long
36:57
ways
36:57
and
36:58
just
36:58
looks
36:58
better
36:59
as
36:59
well.
36:59
Now,
37:00
when
37:00
you're
37:00
outside
37:00
working
37:01
on
37:01
those
37:01
fences
37:01
and
37:02
gates,
37:02
there
37:03
is
37:03
a
37:03
cool
37:03
one
37:03
that
37:04
I
37:04
like
37:04
out
37:04
there
37:04
that
37:04
I
37:05
use.
37:05
Yardlock
37:07
Keyless
37:08
gate
37:09
lock
37:09
Kit.
37:09
This
37:09
is
37:09
for
37:10
wood
37:10
fences.
37:11
This
37:12
thing,
37:12
I
37:13
love
37:13
it.
37:14
So
37:14
you
37:14
can
37:15
get
37:15
them
37:15
online,
37:15
you
37:15
can
37:15
get
37:16
them
37:16
on
37:16
Amazon.
37:16
They're
37:16
about
37:17
65
37:17
bucks.
37:18
But
37:19
they
37:19
are
37:19
a
37:19
serious
37:20
lock
37:21
for
37:21
your
37:21
wood
37:22
fence
37:22
that
37:23
is
37:23
so
37:23
easy
37:24
to
37:24
install.
37:25
And
37:25
again,
37:26
this
37:26
is
37:26
not
37:26
a
37:26
commercial
37:27
here,
37:27
guys.
37:28
But
37:28
I
37:28
tell
37:29
you
37:29
what,
37:29
check
37:29
out
37:30
Yardlock.
37:30
These
37:30
guys
37:31
have
37:31
got
37:31
it
37:31
dialed
37:32
in.
37:32
It
37:32
is
37:33
a
37:33
great
37:33
system.
37:34
It
37:34
uses
37:34
a
37:35
4,
37:35
4
37:36
number
37:36
code
37:37
like
37:37
a
37:37
master
37:38
lock
37:38
or
37:38
one
37:38
of
37:38
those
37:39
you
37:39
would
37:39
see,
37:39
but
37:40
Yardlock
37:40
has
37:41
got
37:41
it.
37:41
It's
37:41
basically
37:42
an
37:42
opening
37:43
box.
37:43
So
37:43
what
37:43
you
37:44
do
37:44
is
37:44
you
37:44
put
37:44
your
37:44
4
37:44
code
37:45
in
37:45
there.
37:45
When
37:46
you
37:46
pull
37:46
the
37:47
box
37:47
lid
37:48
forward,
37:48
forward,
37:49
it
37:49
opens
37:50
up
37:50
the
37:50
latch
37:50
to
37:50
go
37:51
through.
37:51
So
37:51
really
37:52
easy,
37:52
easily
37:53
adjustable.
37:54
Works
37:54
really
37:54
well
37:55
on
37:55
those
37:55
wood
37:56
gates.
37:57
And
37:58
it
37:58
is
37:58
something
37:58
that
37:58
can
37:59
make
37:59
life
38:00
super
38:00
easy.
38:01
And
38:02
just
38:02
look
38:02
up
38:02
Yardlock,
38:03
you
38:03
can
38:03
get
38:03
them
38:03
at
38:03
Home
38:03
Depot,
38:04
Amazon,
38:04
those
38:05
kind
38:05
of
38:05
things.
38:05
Amazon's
38:06
easy
38:06
because
38:07
it'll
38:07
deliver
38:07
right
38:07
to
38:07
your
38:08
door.
38:08
Look,
38:09
Home
38:09
Depot
38:09
on
38:09
Amazon
38:10
selling
38:10
those
38:10
things
38:11
for
38:11
about
38:11
65
38:12
bucks.
38:13
And
38:13
they've
38:13
got
38:14
all
38:15
these
38:15
different
38:15
models.
38:15
They've
38:16
got
38:16
a
38:16
heavy
38:16
duty
38:17
one,
38:17
they've
38:17
got
38:17
a,
38:18
a
38:18
big
38:19
one
38:19
depending
38:19
on
38:19
what
38:20
you're
38:20
doing.
38:20
But
38:20
I
38:20
tell
38:20
you
38:21
what,
38:21
it
38:21
is
38:21
an
38:22
easy
38:22
way
38:23
to
38:23
make
38:23
that
38:23
fence
38:24
secure
38:25
and
38:25
it's
38:25
going
38:25
to
38:25
help
38:26
you
38:26
with
38:26
that.
38:26
So
38:27
another
38:27
thing
38:27
to
38:27
think
38:27
about
38:28
for
38:28
kind
38:28
of
38:29
locking
38:29
down
38:29
your
38:29
house
38:30
a
38:30
little
38:30
bit
38:31
when
38:31
you're
38:31
out
38:31
there
38:31
changing
38:32
locks
38:32
and
38:32
doing
38:32
things
38:33
like
38:33
that
38:33
or
38:33
changing
38:34
out
38:34
hardware
38:34
for
38:34
that
38:35
gate.
38:35
Now
38:36
another
38:36
thing
38:36
that
38:36
I
38:37
like
38:37
to
38:37
do
38:37
too,
38:37
just
38:38
for
38:38
curb
38:38
appeal
38:39
safety
38:40
is
38:40
when
38:40
I'm
38:40
out
38:40
there
38:41
working
38:41
on
38:41
stuff
38:41
around
38:42
the
38:42
house
38:42
like
38:42
this.
38:42
On
38:42
the
38:42
maintenance
38:43
side
38:43
of
38:43
things,
38:43
the
38:43
other
38:43
thing
38:44
I
38:44
like
38:44
to
38:44
do
38:45
is
38:45
make
38:45
sure
38:45
when
38:46
I
38:46
pull
38:46
up
38:46
to
38:46
the
38:46
front
38:46
of
38:46
my
38:47
house,
38:47
there
38:47
is
38:47
not
38:47
a
38:47
place
38:48
for
38:48
someone
38:48
to
38:48
hide.
38:49
I
38:49
don't
38:50
have
38:50
to
38:50
worry
38:50
about
38:50
some
38:50
homeless
38:51
bum
38:51
hanging
38:51
out
38:51
up
38:52
there.
38:52
I
38:52
don't
38:52
have
38:53
to
38:53
worry
38:53
about
38:53
someone
38:53
hiding
38:54
behind
38:54
the
38:54
bushes
38:54
that
38:54
could
38:55
jump
38:55
you
38:55
when
38:55
you're
38:55
coming
38:55
up
38:56
to
38:56
the
38:56
door
38:56
or
38:57
it
38:57
could
38:57
easily
38:57
slide
38:58
inside
38:58
the
38:58
garage
38:59
door.
38:59
So
39:00
a
39:00
couple
39:00
things
39:01
that
39:01
in.
39:01
Exterior
39:02
lighting
39:02
is
39:02
always
39:03
key.
39:03
Exterior
39:04
lighting
39:04
is
39:04
one
39:04
of
39:04
my
39:04
favorites.
39:05
There's
39:06
so
39:06
much
39:06
you
39:06
can
39:06
do
39:07
with
39:07
that
39:07
to
39:08
make
39:09
the
39:09
house
39:09
look
39:09
beautiful.
39:10
And
39:11
not
39:11
have
39:11
it
39:12
be,
39:12
you
39:13
know,
39:13
not
39:13
going
39:13
on
39:14
spending
39:14
the
39:14
dumb
39:14
money
39:15
on
39:15
lights.
39:15
Now
39:16
here's
39:16
the
39:16
thing.
39:16
When
39:17
I'm
39:17
talking
39:17
about
39:17
dumb
39:17
money
39:17
and
39:18
lights,
39:18
those
39:18
are
39:18
the
39:18
solar
39:19
ones,
39:19
those
39:19
are
39:19
the
39:20
ones
39:20
you
39:20
buy
39:20
at
39:20
the
39:20
home
39:20
centers
39:21
that
39:21
are
39:21
the
39:21
cheap
39:21
plastic
39:22
ones
39:23
that
39:23
seem
39:23
to
39:23
last
39:23
a
39:24
year
39:24
or
39:24
two
39:24
and
39:24
then
39:24
they
39:24
start
39:25
getting
39:25
discolored,
39:25
they
39:26
stop
39:26
working
39:26
and
39:27
you
39:27
throw
39:27
it
39:27
away.
39:28
Go
39:29
into
39:29
your
39:29
specialty
39:30
lighting
39:30
store
39:31
and
39:31
get
39:32
what
39:32
you
39:32
need.
39:32
I
39:32
have
39:33
got
39:33
a
39:33
set
39:33
that
39:33
has
39:33
been
39:34
working
39:34
now
39:34
for
39:34
probably
39:35
nine
39:36
years
39:37
and
39:37
I
39:37
bought
39:37
it
39:37
from
39:38
a
39:38
specialty
39:38
lighting
39:39
store.
39:39
It's
39:39
made
39:40
out
39:40
of
39:40
metal,
39:40
it's
39:41
powder
39:41
coated,
39:42
works
39:42
as
39:43
good
39:43
as
39:43
the
39:43
day
39:43
I
39:44
got
39:44
it.
39:45
So
39:45
if
39:45
you
39:45
get
39:46
the
39:46
right
39:46
set,
39:47
spend
39:47
a
39:48
little
39:48
bit
39:48
more
39:48
money,
39:49
you
39:49
won't
39:49
be
39:49
throwing
39:50
them
39:50
away
39:50
in
39:50
two
39:50
years,
39:50
which
39:51
is
39:51
a
39:51
really
39:51
big
39:51
deal
39:52
with
39:52
these
39:52
things.
39:53
So
39:53
take
39:53
some
39:53
time.
39:54
When
39:54
it
39:54
comes
39:54
to
39:54
lighting,
39:55
there
39:56
is
39:56
a
39:56
lot
39:56
of
39:56
great
39:57
stuff
39:57
out
39:57
there
39:57
and
39:58
there's
39:58
a
39:58
lot
39:58
of
39:58
things
39:58
you
39:58
can
39:59
be
39:59
doing
39:59
to
39:59
really
39:59
get
39:59
it
40:00
dialed
40:00
in.
40:01
Now
40:01
another
40:01
thing
40:02
that
40:02
I've
40:02
been
40:02
doing
40:02
here
40:03
and
40:03
I
40:03
got
40:03
to
40:03
give
40:03
a
40:03
shout
40:04
out
40:04
to
40:04
my
40:04
friends
40:05
at
40:05
East
40:05
Oak.
40:06
I've
40:06
been
40:07
doing
40:07
this
40:07
for
40:07
my
40:07
TV
40:08
show
40:08
right
40:08
now
40:08
and
40:09
I
40:10
have
40:10
really
40:10
enjoyed
40:11
it.
40:11
I
40:11
got,
40:12
I
40:12
had
40:12
a
40:12
wood,
40:12
a
40:13
fire
40:13
pit
40:13
down
40:14
more
40:15
of
40:15
a
40:15
state
40:15
park
40:16
style
40:16
fire
40:16
pit
40:16
that
40:17
was
40:17
sitting
40:17
down
40:17
there
40:18
in
40:18
my
40:18
backyard.
40:19
And
40:20
I've
40:20
eliminated
40:21
that
40:21
now
40:21
because
40:22
the
40:22
problems
40:23
that
40:23
I've
40:23
had
40:24
with
40:24
that
40:25
is
40:25
that
40:25
one,
40:26
it's
40:27
messy
40:27
to
40:27
deal
40:27
with
40:28
all
40:28
the
40:28
firewood.
40:29
Two,
40:30
it
40:30
was
40:30
sitting
40:31
on
40:31
the
40:31
ground,
40:32
which
40:32
I
40:33
always
40:33
had
40:33
to
40:33
worry
40:33
about
40:33
root
40:34
fires,
40:34
things
40:34
like
40:35
that.
40:35
And
40:35
so
40:35
I've
40:36
gone
40:36
to
40:36
a
40:36
couple
40:36
different
40:37
ways.
40:37
I'm
40:37
going
40:38
to
40:38
the
40:38
more
40:39
smokeless
40:40
fire
40:40
pit
40:41
to
40:41
go
40:41
that
40:41
route
40:41
so
40:42
it's
40:42
a
40:42
little
40:42
easier
40:42
to
40:43
use.
40:43
And
40:44
two,
40:45
I'm
40:45
not
40:45
getting
40:46
blown
40:46
in
40:46
the
40:46
face
40:47
with
40:47
smoke
40:47
every
40:47
time
40:48
like
40:48
I
40:48
am
40:48
when
40:48
I'm
40:49
out
40:49
camping.
40:50
And
40:50
the
40:50
other
40:50
one
40:50
is
40:51
I
40:51
went
40:51
to
40:51
one
40:51
of
40:51
the
40:51
fire
40:52
pit
40:52
tables
40:53
so
40:53
we
40:53
could
40:53
be
40:54
sitting
40:54
down
40:55
up
40:55
on
40:55
the
40:55
composite
40:56
deck
40:56
where
40:56
it's
40:56
not
40:56
an
40:56
issue
40:57
with
40:57
the
40:57
propane
40:58
and
40:58
I
40:59
just
40:59
don't
40:59
have
40:59
the
40:59
mess.
41:00
So
41:01
take
41:01
a
41:01
look.
41:02
East
41:02
Oak's
41:02
a
41:02
great
41:03
company,
41:03
solid
41:04
stuff.
41:04
I've
41:04
been
41:04
working
41:04
with
41:05
them
41:05
for
41:05
a
41:05
while
41:06
and
41:06
great
41:07
products.
41:07
You
41:07
can
41:08
find
41:08
them
41:08
on
41:08
Amazon.
41:09
That's
41:09
the
41:09
easiest
41:10
way
41:10
to
41:10
find
41:10
them.
41:11
They
41:11
will
41:11
sit
41:12
there
41:12
and
41:12
work
41:13
out
41:13
really
41:13
well.
41:14
And
41:14
they've
41:14
been
41:15
something
41:15
that's
41:15
been
41:15
really
41:16
quality
41:16
for
41:16
getting
41:16
stuff
41:17
online.
41:18
And
41:18
it's
41:19
in
41:19
stock.
41:19
Usually
41:20
you
41:20
can
41:20
buy
41:20
that
41:20
stuff.
41:21
Everything
41:21
from
41:22
their
41:22
patio
41:22
heaters
41:23
to
41:23
their
41:23
propane
41:23
stuff
41:24
works
41:24
awesome.
41:25
I
41:25
bought
41:25
some
41:25
deck
41:26
boxes
41:26
as
41:26
well,
41:27
which
41:27
has
41:27
been
41:27
great.
41:28
120
41:29
gallon
41:29
deck
41:30
box,
41:30
this
41:30
thing,
41:31
you
41:31
can
41:31
sit
41:31
on
41:31
it.
41:32
So
41:32
it's
41:32
like
41:32
a
41:32
bench.
41:33
You
41:33
could
41:34
store
41:34
stuff
41:34
in
41:34
it.
41:35
You
41:35
could
41:35
put
41:35
a
41:35
padlock
41:36
on
41:36
it
41:36
and
41:36
lock
41:36
it
41:37
down.
41:37
This
41:38
stuff
41:38
is
41:39
heavy
41:39
duty.
41:40
Buy
41:40
it
41:41
once
41:41
and
41:41
forget
41:41
about
41:41
it.
41:42
It's
41:42
waterproof,
41:42
so
41:42
I
41:43
can
41:43
put
41:43
anything
41:43
in
41:43
there
41:43
that
41:44
I
41:44
want
41:44
and
41:45
to
41:45
keep
41:45
mother
41:45
nature
41:46
out
41:46
during
41:46
a
41:46
storm.
41:47
So
41:47
any
41:47
of
41:47
that
41:47
stuff
41:48
really,
41:48
you
41:49
can
41:49
keep
41:49
it
41:49
secure
41:49
and
41:50
just
41:50
tidy
41:50
up.
41:51
That
41:51
is
41:51
one
41:51
of
41:51
the
41:51
biggest
41:52
things
41:52
that
41:52
I
41:52
see.
41:53
Trying
41:53
to
41:54
keep
41:54
that
41:55
back
41:55
deck
41:55
area
41:56
is
41:57
just
41:58
controlling
41:59
the
41:59
clutter.
42:00
Can
42:00
be
42:01
a
42:01
hot
42:01
mess.
42:02
So
42:03
not
42:03
a
42:03
lot
42:03
of
42:03
fun
42:04
doing
42:04
that
42:04
stuff.
42:05
But
42:05
once
42:05
you
42:05
get
42:06
it
42:06
organized,
42:07
looks
42:07
good
42:07
all
42:08
year
42:09
around,
42:09
which
42:10
is
42:10
nice.
42:11
That's
42:11
something
42:11
you
42:11
can
42:12
do.
42:12
And
42:12
it's
42:13
all
42:13
their
42:14
stuff
42:14
is
42:14
pretty
42:14
easy
42:14
to
42:15
put
42:15
together.
42:16
So
42:16
just
42:16
jump
42:16
over
42:16
to
42:17
Amazon,
42:17
take
42:17
a
42:17
look
42:17
at
42:17
East
42:18
Oak.
42:18
They're
42:18
one
42:18
of
42:18
my
42:19
little
42:19
secrets
42:19
for
42:19
getting
42:20
something
42:20
quality
42:21
on
42:21
a
42:21
budget.
42:22
And
42:22
they
42:22
just
42:23
make
42:23
some
42:23
great
42:23
stuff.
42:23
So
42:24
whether
42:24
you're
42:24
looking
42:24
for
42:24
a
42:24
patio
42:25
heater
42:25
or,
42:25
or
42:26
one
42:26
of
42:26
the
42:26
tables
42:26
or
42:26
even
42:27
one
42:27
of
42:27
the
42:27
smokeless
42:28
fire
42:28
pits,
42:29
they
42:29
all
42:29
have
42:29
a
42:29
great
42:29
way
42:30
to
42:30
do
42:30
that.
42:31
Well,
42:31
I
42:31
wanted
42:31
to
42:32
say
42:32
before
42:32
we
42:32
go
42:32
out
42:32
here
42:33
at
42:33
the
42:33
end
42:33
of
42:33
this
42:34
hour,
42:34
I
42:34
wanted
42:34
to
42:34
share
42:35
with
42:35
you
42:35
some
42:35
new
42:35
stuff
42:35
we
42:36
got
42:36
coming
42:36
up
42:36
here.
42:37
We'll
42:37
have
42:37
a
42:38
new
42:38
blog
42:38
post
42:38
coming
42:39
up
42:39
here
42:39
this
42:39
week
42:40
for
42:40
on
42:41
barbecue
42:41
season.
42:42
I
42:42
love
42:43
cooking.
42:44
I
42:44
love
42:44
outdoor
42:45
cooking.
42:46
I've
42:46
got
42:46
a
42:46
lot
42:46
going
42:46
on
42:47
there
42:47
as
42:47
well
42:47
as
42:48
we've
42:48
got
42:49
some
42:49
new
42:49
videos
42:49
coming
42:49
up
42:50
here
42:50
as
42:50
well
42:50
from
42:51
the
42:51
national
42:51
Hardware
42:52
show
42:52
and
42:53
other
42:53
places
42:53
where
42:53
I
42:53
talk
42:54
to
42:54
some
42:54
great
42:54
companies
42:55
and
42:55
got
42:56
some
42:56
great
42:56
stuff
42:57
to
42:57
share
42:57
with
42:57
you
42:57
out
42:58
there.
42:58
To
42:58
find
42:58
out
42:58
more
42:58
about
42:59
that
42:59
stuff
43:00
and
43:00
make
43:00
sure
43:00
that
43:00
you're
43:01
subscribed
43:01
to
43:01
the
43:01
YouTube
43:02
channel.
43:02
Just
43:02
look
43:02
for
43:02
around
43:03
the
43:03
house
43:03
show
43:04
and
43:04
you
43:04
can
43:04
find
43:04
it
43:05
over
43:05
there.
43:05
And
43:06
one
43:06
easy
43:06
space
43:06
is
43:07
just
43:07
go
43:07
to
43:07
around
43:07
the
43:08
house
43:08
online
43:08
to
43:08
our
43:08
new
43:09
website
43:09
Powered
43:09
by
43:10
site
43:10
Hype
43:10
Designs
43:11
and
43:11
you
43:11
can
43:11
take
43:11
a
43:12
look
43:12
at
43:12
it
43:12
there.
43:12
It's
43:12
got
43:12
all
43:12
of
43:13
our
43:13
links
43:13
you
43:13
can
43:13
run
43:13
over
43:14
there.
43:14
Take
43:14
a
43:14
look
43:14
at
43:14
that,
43:15
our
43:15
YouTube
43:15
channel.
43:16
I'm
43:16
putting
43:16
stuff
43:16
up
43:17
every
43:17
week
43:18
from
43:18
new
43:18
products
43:19
to
43:19
great
43:19
interviews.
43:20
Sometimes
43:21
when
43:21
I
43:21
have
43:21
the
43:21
interviews
43:21
here,
43:22
you
43:22
can
43:22
see
43:22
the
43:23
video
43:23
and
43:23
see
43:23
the
43:24
details
43:24
we
43:24
have
43:25
of
43:25
the
43:25
full
43:25
length
43:25
over
43:26
there.
43:26
It's
43:26
a
43:26
great
43:27
way
43:27
to
43:27
do
43:27
that
43:27
as
43:27
well
43:28
so
43:28
you
43:28
can
43:28
follow
43:28
along
43:29
and
43:29
instead
43:30
of
43:30
sitting
43:30
there
43:30
just
43:30
listening
43:31
to
43:31
me
43:31
talk.
43:31
If
43:31
you're
43:32
a
43:32
video
43:32
person,
43:33
we've
43:33
Got
43:33
it
43:33
over
43:33
there.
43:34
As
43:34
well
43:34
as
43:34
you
43:34
can
43:35
listen
43:35
to
43:35
this
43:35
show
43:35
because
43:35
we're
43:36
also
43:36
on
43:36
YouTube
43:37
as
43:37
well.
43:38
So
43:38
if
43:38
you're
43:38
out
43:38
trying
43:38
to
43:39
play
43:39
catch
43:39
up
43:39
or
43:39
you
43:39
want
43:39
to
43:39
go
43:40
back
43:40
on
43:40
the
43:40
Wayback
43:40
Machine
43:41
and
43:41
see
43:41
something
43:41
we
43:41
talked
43:42
about
43:42
last
43:42
year,
43:43
you
43:43
can
43:43
find
43:43
it
43:44
there
43:44
as
43:44
well.
43:44
And
43:45
that's
43:45
just
43:45
all
43:45
over@aroundthehouseonline.com
43:48
and
43:48
then
43:48
if
43:48
you
43:49
are
43:49
a
43:49
podcast
43:49
listener
43:50
out
43:50
there
43:51
and
43:51
you
43:51
want
43:51
to
43:51
get
43:51
the
43:51
show
43:52
early,
43:52
you
43:53
can
43:53
join
43:53
our
43:53
premium
43:54

43:54
over
43:54
there.
43:55
It's
43:55
just
43:55
four
43:55
bucks
43:56
a
43:56
month,
43:56
so
43:56
the
43:56
price
43:56
of
43:57
coffee
43:57
and
43:58
you
43:58
get
43:58
exclusive
43:58
content
43:59
and
43:59
you
44:00
get
44:00
the
44:00
hot
44:01
fast
44:01
lane
44:01
into
44:02
me
44:02
with
44:02
your
44:02
home
44:02
improvement
44:03
questions
44:04
that
44:04
I
44:04
will
44:04
be
44:04
personally
44:05
answering
44:05
those
44:06
because
44:06
you
44:06
can
44:06
just
44:06
ask
44:07
me
44:07
right
44:07
there.
44:08
And
44:08
if
44:08
you're
44:08
working
44:09
on
44:09
a
44:09
project,
44:09
I
44:10
can
44:10
be
44:10
your
44:10
coach
44:11
with
44:11
a
44:11
few
44:11
emails
44:12
on
44:12
that
44:12
stuff
44:12
to
44:12
help
44:13
you
44:13
along
44:13
the
44:13
way
44:14
and
44:14
keep
44:14
you
44:15
all
44:15
dialed
44:15
in.
44:16
So
44:16
we
44:16
got
44:16
a
44:17
lot
44:17
of
44:17
great
44:17
stuff
44:17
coming
44:17
up
44:17
over
44:18
there,
44:18
as
44:18
well
44:18
as
44:18
some
44:19
new
44:19
content
44:19
coming
44:19
up
44:19
that
44:20
I
44:20
can't
44:20
wait
44:20
to
44:20
share
44:20
with
44:21
you.
44:21
We
44:21
got
44:22
new
44:22
people
44:22
coming
44:22
on
44:23
here.
44:23
We're
44:23
gonna
44:23
be
44:23
talking
44:23
some
44:24
cabinetry.
44:25
Got
44:25
a
44:25
great
44:25
Amish
