- 0:02>> Speaker B: Jasmine, oolong, green
- 0:05and white. Long ago, these four
- 0:07teas were skilfully brewed at the blissful brew.
- 0:11Then everything changed when the shop's
- 0:13popularity threatened its existence.
- 0:16All Mr. Okuron, the shop's owner and tea
- 0:19master, could do was to recruit four teenage
- 0:22orphans to learn his trade and and staff his
- 0:25shop. A year has passed since the orphans were hired
- 0:28and although their skills have progressed, they still have a
- 0:31lot to learn before they can brew anything. But
- 0:33I believe that they have the potential to make the blissful
- 0:36brew the greatest tea shop in the world.
- 0:41>> Speaker C: Welcome back, everybody, to another episode of vendors and
- 0:44brews. Season three, aka
- 0:47the season of finale.
- 0:51It is sad. It's also exciting.
- 0:54so for those that need a little bit of catching
- 0:57up, I got a headline right here on my
- 1:00notes. It says for episode two, in big,
- 1:03bold letters, Brock has been captured
- 1:06by the Fire Nation. And that's all I have. So
- 1:09we're going to roll with that. No, I'm just kidding. I got like a lot of details within
- 1:12that, but I digress. if you don't know who Brock is, that
- 1:15probably means that you are way behind on this show and you need
- 1:18to go all the way back to the beginning and check it out from
- 1:21there. So you know, what in the world is going on. But
- 1:24without, whatever the case, we are going to introduce everybody. Just so
- 1:27you just remember what their voice sounds like. It's been like
- 1:30two weeks since the last episode. You might need a little bit of a
- 1:33reminder here. So we'll start over to my right
- 1:36with Dave. Dave, who are you playing?
- 1:38>> Speaker D: I am playing Guohan the
- 1:41adamant earthbender, the
- 1:44youngest member of the party.
- 1:46>> Speaker C: These are all true facts.
- 1:47>> Speaker D: Can you give me an interesting.
- 1:51>> Speaker C: I mean, not to say those weren't interesting.
- 1:53>> Speaker A: Those were important.
- 1:54>> Speaker D: The mystery to be revealed right now is
- 1:56that Guo is a
- 1:59shy pooper,
- 2:03as many boys of his young age
- 2:06of 14 might be.
- 2:07>> Speaker E: Oh, I thought he was twelve.
- 2:09>> Speaker D: No, he's not that young.
- 2:12But he would often leave the
- 2:15tea shop and go other places to do
- 2:18his business. so along
- 2:20with his food review
- 2:23system, while he was at those food
- 2:26places, he would use
- 2:29their bathroom and he would leave a review
- 2:31in there as well. Instead,
- 2:34of boulders, it was poo.
- 2:38The bigger the poo, the better the loo.
- 2:41>> Speaker C: Really?
- 2:42>> Speaker A: Wow.
- 2:43>> Speaker E: He wanted like rhyme system and everything.
- 2:46>> Speaker A: Wow.
- 2:46>> Speaker D: But I mean, it was cleanliness. like,
- 2:49if there was a theme in the restaurant, how well
- 2:52did the bathroom tie into that theme?
- 2:56You've been to a themed restaurant? You go to the bathroom and it's like, ah. Oh,
- 2:58this is just a regular bathroom.
- 3:01If there's any funny signs on the walls,
- 3:04even if it's just graffiti, if they allow
- 3:07graffiti, that's sometimes a plus. It's also a lot easier
- 3:10for him to leave his review. He just
- 3:13leaves it on the floor, like next to the
- 3:16toilet. What makes an impression in
- 3:19the floor?
- 3:19>> Speaker C: Oh, with his earth been, he does.
- 3:22>> Speaker D: Not poop on the floor.
- 3:27>> Speaker C: Through the use of defecation.
- 3:28>> Speaker D: no, he leaves a permanent mark on the floor,
- 3:31like he does with the food review
- 3:34system. But he would,
- 3:37sometimes also go into hot leaf juice,
- 3:40not to get anything to drink, but just to poop in their toilet
- 3:43and not flush.
- 3:44>> Speaker A: Oh, man.
- 3:45>> Speaker C: The biggest sabotage on the
- 3:48next. Interesting fact about
- 3:53just had three episodes straight.
- 3:58>> Speaker A: Interesting.
- 3:59>> Speaker D: Oh, man, that would have been good.
- 4:00>> Speaker C: Sorry, Dave.
- 4:01>> Speaker C: Oh, well, you've got a theme to go off of
- 4:04if you want. Maybe you come up.
- 4:07I'm really curious, and I'm going to use this as a way to pitch this,
- 4:10but I'd like to really do a, q and a episode at the
- 4:13end of season three to talk about any questions
- 4:16that people might have with the characters
- 4:19once all this is said and done and whatever the conclusion is
- 4:22and either where they go from here or what happened to, them and
- 4:24maybe situations that we didn't get to hear about or talk about.
- 4:27And one of the things that I personally would love to discuss,
- 4:30and I don't want to discuss it now because I want to save it, but I really want
- 4:33to discuss the people. Does
- 4:36Guo have a big following in the
- 4:39city? of gaoling with
- 4:42his food reviews? Like people that actively go and seek
- 4:44out.
- 4:45>> Speaker D: It's probably more of a mystery. Doesn't make a big deal about it.
- 4:48He doesn't really tell people about either. They're just there.
- 4:51So maybe some people have started to figure it out.
- 4:54>> Speaker E: He's got a stalker, probably.
- 4:55>> Speaker C: Yeah. Or many. Maybe he's got a fan club. Who
- 4:58knows? It'll be something we'll have to discuss for
- 5:01sure, but, I think that's great. I think that's great. Awesome.
- 5:04So, next up, we got Michaela. Michaela, who are
- 5:07you playing and what is their interesting fact?
- 5:09>> Speaker E: I play Mika.
- 5:12>> Speaker C: Yes.
- 5:13>> Speaker E: I don't know how to describe her.
- 5:15>> Speaker C: Something waterbender. At the very least.
- 5:18>> Speaker E: She is a waterbender.
- 5:21>> Speaker D: She's 17.
- 5:22>> Speaker E: Is 17. Unless she just had a
- 5:25birthday. Who knows? That could be one of my.
- 5:29>> Speaker C: She's away from home. Hey, you know what? She got to
- 5:32reunite with her dad. That's a big birthday present.
- 5:34>> Speaker A: There you go.
- 5:35>> Speaker C: I don't feel that bad.
- 5:36>> Speaker D: She's just going to be passive aggressive the rest of the season because
- 5:39we all forgot her birthday.
- 5:44>> Speaker E: Died.
- 5:46>> Speaker C: All about you, Mika.
- 5:48>> Speaker A: Jesus.
- 5:49>> Speaker E: Okay. No, but for the real fun fact
- 5:52is she likes to do origami.
- 5:55>> Speaker F: Oh, very cool.
- 5:56>> Speaker C: I wouldn't have guessed.
- 6:01>> Speaker D: Embroidery.
- 6:02>> Speaker C: She's pretty artsy. The crafty diy.
- 6:05>> Speaker E: You have to find some ways to entertain yourself when you
- 6:08have zero friends.
- 6:11>> Speaker C: What are we when it's released?
- 6:13>> Speaker E: Okay, well, I wasn't always with you
- 6:16guys. Before you, it was just me and my
- 6:18dad.
- 6:20>> Speaker F: Birds, I guess.
- 6:21>> Speaker C: Paper birds, all kinds of stuff.
- 6:23>> Speaker E: Right on.
- 6:24>> Speaker F: That's cool.
- 6:24>> Speaker A: That's cool.
- 6:25>> Speaker C: Awesome. I like it. All right, next up we've got
- 6:28the captured himself. Connor.
- 6:31>> Speaker F: Yeah.
- 6:31>> Speaker G: I'm Brock Lee. The
- 6:3417 or 18, I can't remember. Year old
- 6:37earthbender.
- 6:38>> Speaker C: 1717 year old
- 6:40earthbender.
- 6:42>> Speaker G: and, the reason that he got captured
- 6:45by the fire nation in the first place is because, he's
- 6:47into the older ladies. it's true.
- 6:51He's into the older women
- 6:54and he was killing it with his eight
- 6:57before.
- 7:01>> Speaker C: He wasn't.
- 7:01>> Speaker G: He got, got. He got, yeah, sure. At least that's what
- 7:04he'll tell you, that he was killing it.
- 7:06>> Speaker A: Ah.
- 7:07>> Speaker C: All right, well,
- 7:10we'll see if you reunite. what's your interesting fact that wasn't
- 7:13interesting? The older lady,
- 7:16as we learned last time. Last time,
- 7:19he's reiterating.
- 7:20>> Speaker E: I don't know if that's a real fun fact.
- 7:22>> Speaker C: Well, I think it's, I think it's fun.
- 7:24>> Speaker F: Yeah, it's pretty wild.
- 7:26>> Speaker C: I would ask what is the
- 7:29extent of olderly, but I don't know. Is that going
- 7:32to get into a weird discussion? Maybe, I
- 7:35don't know.
- 7:40as long as he's not dating any woman from his own
- 7:43immediate or family in general.
- 7:48>> Speaker G: What'S the half plus seven rule? Where does he
- 7:50fall?
- 7:52>> Speaker C: So what? 34 plus seven. So 40,
- 7:5579 to 1141.
- 7:58>> Speaker G: Oh, so he can he go, whoa.
- 7:59>> Speaker C: He can go, he can, he can
- 8:02go whoa.
- 8:03>> Speaker G: He said, I, think like the extent is about
- 8:0635 because, he's 17.
- 8:09>> Speaker E: But what if they look 35 but
- 8:11they're not 35?
- 8:16Maybe honesty is the best policy.
- 8:18>> Speaker C: All right, to be fair, I think
- 8:21the typical age of consent is 18. Just want to
- 8:24establish that all the people who are listening
- 8:26just want to clarify the situation here. also
- 8:29that this game takes place within a fictional universe. I'm not saying it's
- 8:32okay, but just clarify.
- 8:35We're not encouraging any
- 8:37situations here.
- 8:39>> Speaker E: Don't follow. Broccoli by any chance.
- 8:40>> Speaker C: Yes.
- 8:44All right. And then moving on to our next and
- 8:47final player, Cameron.
- 8:49Hello, Cameron.
- 8:52>> Speaker E: I play bill door.
- 8:53>> Speaker F: Bill Dore, age
- 8:561616.
- 8:58>> Speaker C: everyone's. Interesting fact for today.
- 9:00>> Speaker A: That's it.
- 9:01>> Speaker C: Reminder of how old we are. No.
- 9:04I guess a fun fact about.
- 9:06>> Speaker F: Him is, in his spare time, he goes
- 9:08over to the, I've talked about this, where he
- 9:11goes over to the old folks home and he plays, PI show. I think that's
- 9:14what it's called with them. But, another thing he does with
- 9:17them is he takes,
- 9:20cooking classes with them.
- 9:22>> Speaker C: Oh, nice.
- 9:22>> Speaker F: He wants to get better at cooking, but he
- 9:25feels embarrassed if he was to take cooking classes
- 9:28with other people his age. But when he takes it with the
- 9:31classes with his old folk friends, he finds that
- 9:34to be a lot easier. And also, they
- 9:36typically underperform to him
- 9:39due to the fact that they might misplace their ingredients or
- 9:42get lost halfway through. And so Bill
- 9:45feels like he helps them, but also just does better than them, makes
- 9:48them feel a little better about cooking.
- 9:51>> Speaker D: They add, like, way too much salt. Their hands are
- 9:54shaking.
- 9:54>> Speaker A: Yeah.
- 9:55>> Speaker C: And they can't taste it as well.
- 9:58All right. Okay, cool. Yeah, no, absolutely. Maybe, one
- 10:01of these days he'll work up the courage and
- 10:03confidence to share one of his dishes, with
- 10:06Guo. And then Guo can leave him a rating, not the
- 10:09bathroom rating.
- 10:10>> Speaker F: That's another reason why he's afraid to.
- 10:11>> Speaker C: Do cooking anywhere else, because he knows.
- 10:14>> Speaker F: Guo is always sniffing around.
- 10:15>> Speaker C: Guo is a harsh critic. Bill
- 10:18comes walking back to the blissful brew, and Guo's like,
- 10:21why do you smell like cardamom?
- 10:24>> Speaker F: Bill saw Guo give a place a single
- 10:27pebble rating, and he's been afraid.
- 10:29>> Speaker C: Of that ever since. It's an intense situation.
- 10:32You don't want it to happen to you.
- 10:34Awesome. Well, with that, we will jump
- 10:37into season three, episode two of
- 10:40benders and Bruise.
- 10:47We open on a scene as
- 10:49Wang long trails behind two guards with
- 10:52their arms around Brock Lee's
- 10:55shoulders, dragging him
- 10:57reluctantly across the dirt path
- 11:00leading towards a set of stairs attached to
- 11:03which is a hulking, tall
- 11:05building. Brock sees from the top of this building,
- 11:08there's a small chimney, and a strange
- 11:11pink mist sort of rises from
- 11:13this chimney. As they approach the
- 11:16door, two fire nation guards
- 11:19stand at the ready. They both salute,
- 11:22and Brock is, very confused by the fact that they
- 11:25both seem to be wearing these strange masks
- 11:28with this, sort of outcropping over the
- 11:31mouth area. the
- 11:33guards then take Brock from the guards that are
- 11:36currently holding him, and they open up the doors. And
- 11:39as they do, a puff of the
- 11:42same pink misty smoke greets Brock
- 11:45as they drag him inside. As soon as
- 11:47Brock takes a whiff of this smoke, it smells sweet,
- 11:50kind of smells nice, a little bit perfumey.
- 11:53But as soon as he smells it, he starts to feel a
- 11:56little bit lethargic, a little bit slower, a
- 11:59little bit mellowed out. He doesn't
- 12:02feel that he has the strength to fight against the
- 12:05guards anymore. And they easily take him up
- 12:07two flights of stairs and put him
- 12:10into a wooden prison cell
- 12:14and close the door behind him
- 12:17first, of course, I.
- 12:18>> Speaker G: Got to say, whoa, I didn't know they were chill like
- 12:21that. what,
- 12:24what all is, what all can
- 12:26I see from this said prison
- 12:29cell?
- 12:30>> Speaker C: Sure. So there's kind of a walkway
- 12:33again, most of just about everything in here or the
- 12:35exterior is all wooden. And you know that as an
- 12:38earthbender and being in an earthbender city,
- 12:41it makes sense that they wouldn't want to keep their prisoners in
- 12:44anything that's made of earth. your
- 12:47prison cell itself is some
- 12:49fairly thick wooden bars at the
- 12:52front, that have like, hinges that open up
- 12:55the door to the cell itself.
- 12:59outside there's a walkway that goes all the way
- 13:02around the circumference. And you can kind of see
- 13:04outside. there's kind of just this haziness that kind of
- 13:07envelops everything from this pink smoke. And you
- 13:10can kind of see through that it's not overbearing or
- 13:13anything like that. and you can see that there's other cells all
- 13:16around you, occasional ones, filled with
- 13:19a resident, somebody that has been imprisoned
- 13:21by this, fire nation prison. And
- 13:24then past that, you look over the edge of this walkway and
- 13:27you can just see that there are two other floors.
- 13:30There's the first floor, the base floor. There's a middle floor. And then there's
- 13:33your floor.
- 13:34>> Speaker A: Right.
- 13:34>> Speaker C: The middle and first floor also just filled with
- 13:37these, prison cells that have
- 13:40various people inside of them. In the middle of
- 13:43the first floor you can see that there's
- 13:46some sort of, a tube that kind
- 13:49of comes up from the ground. You can see that there's
- 13:52like a hot, maybe fire inside of it.
- 13:54And you can see that's kind of where this pink
- 13:57smoke is kind of stemming from.
- 14:00obviously they're burning something, maybe in a basement
- 14:03level, and then that causes whatever this
- 14:05strange chemical
- 14:08or smoke from whatever plant it is, they might
- 14:11be burning to go up. And you have a pretty good
- 14:14feeling that this smoke is what's causing you to
- 14:16feel lethargic, feel
- 14:19slow, feel weak.
- 14:22>> Speaker G: Am I alone in this cell?
- 14:24>> Speaker C: yes, you are alone in your cell.
- 14:26>> Speaker G: Is there anybody with an earshot that.
- 14:28>> Speaker A: I could talk to?
- 14:29>> Speaker C: Yeah, there's cells right next to you.
- 14:30>> Speaker G: So could I ask, the guy next to me, like, what
- 14:33is this place? What's going on?
- 14:35>> Speaker C: And, a voice kind of softly
- 14:38speaks out to you, and he says, this
- 14:42is the Udao prison facility.
- 14:45What'd you do to get in here?
- 14:48>> Speaker G: I was on a date with an older lady.
- 14:52Guess they didn't like that too much.
- 14:54>> Speaker C: Yeah, they don't like it when you kill three
- 14:56people either.
- 14:58>> Speaker G: Nice, bro.
- 15:01That's pretty metal. Yeah, actually, no, it's
- 15:04wood.
- 15:05>> Speaker F: Sorry, continue.
- 15:07>> Speaker C: He kind of laughs, like, painfully.
- 15:12Well,
- 15:15this isn't a fun place to be. I'll say
- 15:18that much. I don't know. I
- 15:21didn't know that dating an older lady, would
- 15:24get you in trouble, but maybe she was important or
- 15:27something. But, you
- 15:29definitely made a bad call, landed
- 15:32yourself in a bad place.
- 15:34>> Speaker A: Yeah.
- 15:37>> Speaker G: Why is everybody acting high in here? What's going
- 15:40on?
- 15:41>> Speaker C: It's this smoke, man. They're pumping it
- 15:45into the whole facility. That's why you see the fire
- 15:48nation guards walking around. They all have masks on.
- 15:51That's why they got those masks on, is it helps
- 15:54them. It filters out
- 15:57the smoke.
- 15:59>> Speaker A: Sorry.
- 16:00>> Speaker C: I'm getting kind of tired.
- 16:02I'm going to take a nap.
- 16:05>> Speaker G: Okay. All
- 16:07right. let me see if I can't be
- 16:10resourceful here. So you're saying that what appears
- 16:13to be pumping the smoke is on the first
- 16:16floor, right? I am not on the first floor.
- 16:19>> Speaker C: You are not. You are on the third floor, and.
- 16:21>> Speaker G: I just came in from outside.
- 16:23>> Speaker C: Right.
- 16:25>> Speaker G: So would it be fair to say
- 16:28that there is dust on my feet still from
- 16:31outside?
- 16:33>> Speaker C: sure, yeah, we could probably say that much.
- 16:35>> Speaker G: So could Brock, in this case,
- 16:38spit on his feet and make
- 16:41some mud. Pebbles out of said
- 16:44dust and spit. I told you it
- 16:46wasn't useless.
- 16:48>> Speaker F: It was a stupid thing.
- 16:50>> Speaker A: Useless.
- 16:51>> Speaker C: All right, yeah, I would say that you
- 16:54would. You are currently, because of this
- 16:57smoke. that's kind of disabling you a bit. You
- 17:00are currently impaired,
- 17:02insecure. You're probably a little insecure
- 17:05as well, but at the moment, more
- 17:07importantly, you are impaired.
- 17:10>> Speaker G: We're slowed or off balance, mark one, fatigue
- 17:13or take minus two to all physical actions.
- 17:16>> Speaker C: Correct.
- 17:19>> Speaker G: All right, I will take one
- 17:21fatigue. All right.
- 17:23>> Speaker C: And then you would just roll with, well, this is just
- 17:26making rocks. I would say that you could just do it.
- 17:29It's not like, rely on your skills and training or anything. It's making
- 17:32something simple. So you're making some just kind of like dirt stones
- 17:35that you can kind of fashion into something to possibly start
- 17:38kind of working your way out is what you're saying.
- 17:40>> Speaker G: Basically, the plan is, does
- 17:43Brock wear shoes?
- 17:44>> Speaker C: I thought he had, like, sand. no, I think you're right. I think
- 17:47he just had.
- 17:48>> Speaker G: Is he feet?
- 17:49>> Speaker C: I think he's just barefoot.
- 17:50>> Speaker G: I don't know if that's ever been established. Well, I got my next fun fact.
- 17:53>> Speaker C: He typically walks around barefoot.
- 17:55>> Speaker G: So, yeah, I guess just spit on my feet and,
- 17:58make a few mud pebbles.
- 17:59>> Speaker C: All right, sounds good. And then what are you doing with the mud pebbles?
- 18:02>> Speaker G: I'm going to hang on to them for now.
- 18:04>> Speaker A: All right.
- 18:04>> Speaker G: How many do you say I make?
- 18:06>> Speaker C: Let's say five.
- 18:07>> Speaker G: Yeah, five mud pebbles. Okay, see, I got
- 18:10five mud pebbles. Okay. I
- 18:13shall lie and wait while trying to devise a plan.
- 18:16>> Speaker C: All right, sounds good. We will cut back to the
- 18:19rest of the gang, who is all standing just outside
- 18:22of Udao, right alongside the very
- 18:25tributary, which is sort of a river
- 18:27that's leading into land and kind of just hits a dead end,
- 18:30I believe, assuming that I read my geography
- 18:33right. environmental science, what have you.
- 18:36And you guys are just waiting by kind of the edge of this. You're
- 18:39supposed to follow the tributary to your
- 18:42next destination, which Mr. Okaron has, shared
- 18:45with you. The only problem is that your
- 18:48companion went off to go,
- 18:51have some tea with an older
- 18:53lady that he had met on the pirate ship.
- 18:56you guys were able to get the pirates to go away,
- 18:59but otherwise, that's kind of where you're sitting at. and it's
- 19:02been a couple hours at this point, and your buddy has
- 19:05not come back.
- 19:06>> Speaker D: Mika, that was pretty solid the way you tricked those
- 19:09pirates.
- 19:10>> Speaker E: Yeah.
- 19:11>> Speaker C: Guo says after like, 2 hours of you guys just sitting
- 19:14there.
- 19:19>> Speaker F: Anyone know how to juggle?
- 19:21>> Speaker E: we all just look at globe.
- 19:22>> Speaker C: I was going to say, if anyone does, I feel like Guo has
- 19:25to. Right.
- 19:26>> Speaker D: It's harder than it looks, but I
- 19:29can.
- 19:33>> Speaker C: Boosting myself up.
- 19:36>> Speaker D: I grab some rocks from the stream and I start to
- 19:38juggle them.
- 19:39>> Speaker C: All right. You do?
- 19:42>> Speaker F: Wow. That's quite impressive.
- 19:45If only Brock was here to see this. He would
- 19:47love it.
- 19:49>> Speaker E: Can you do it with more than. How many are you
- 19:51juggling?
- 19:53>> Speaker F: Just count them three.
- 19:56Can you not count, Mika?
- 19:58>> Speaker E: Yes, I can count. I throw them m a fourth
- 20:01one. As I say. How many can you
- 20:04juggle?
- 20:06>> Speaker F: Does earth bending help you when you juggle those?
- 20:10>> Speaker D: It, can. Yeah, I can increase the number if I use earth
- 20:13bending.
- 20:16>> Speaker F: Ten.
- 20:17>> Speaker E: Throw them another one. Think fast.
- 20:20>> Speaker D: I'm going to keep juggling.
- 20:22>> Speaker C: Do, me a rely on your skill.
- 20:25>> Speaker F: So you have 14?
- 20:27>> Speaker A: Yeah.
- 20:27>> Speaker C: Okay. Ten more.
- 20:29>> Speaker F: Yeah.
- 20:30>> Speaker C: All right. Let's see if you can do ten.
- 20:32>> Speaker D: Pushing my luck.
- 20:34>> Speaker C: Hey, if you feel like it's pushing your luck, go for it.
- 20:39>> Speaker D: I forgot I got that boost to passion. So
- 20:42that's a 13.
- 20:43>> Speaker C: Holy juggling.
- 20:45>> Speaker A: 14 rocks glow.
- 20:47>> Speaker C: It is mesmerizing, truly
- 20:50mesmerizing to just watch as Guo, with his
- 20:52expert carnivalcircus.
- 20:55expertise. Just juggling 14
- 20:59rocks in the air.
- 20:59>> Speaker F: This is the coolest thing I've ever seen in my
- 21:02life. And I've seen a solar eclipse, so.
- 21:05>> Speaker E: Let me tell you, I'm not
- 21:07that impressed by it.
- 21:09>> Speaker F: Oh, can you do that? I bet you came in juggle two
- 21:12mika rocks.
- 21:14>> Speaker E: Probably not.
- 21:15>> Speaker F: And you're not impressed by 14.
- 21:18Can you even count up?
- 21:19>> Speaker E: I'm saying it's not the coolest thing I've ever seen
- 21:23ever since.
- 21:24>> Speaker C: It is cool, but, his reading ability has
- 21:26been pitted against Brock's lack of reading ability. Why
- 21:29is Bill just on, like, some kind of intellectual power trip?
- 21:32>> Speaker G: I wish Brock was here.
- 21:35>> Speaker E: Does he make you feel smart?
- 21:37>> Speaker F: I bet he would juggle more. He would challenge,
- 21:40guo to his 14.
- 21:41>> Speaker E: We could go.
- 21:42>> Speaker F: He'd probably juggle 15
- 21:45and then juggle, like, 28.
- 21:47>> Speaker C: As you guys are discussing this, and Guo continues to
- 21:50juggle 14 rocks.
- 21:51>> Speaker F: Keep it up.
- 21:52>> Speaker C: All of a sudden, the same pirate woman that
- 21:55Brock had just disappeared with comes walking
- 21:58up to you guys, and.
- 21:59>> Speaker E: She waves, just walking nonchalantly.
- 22:02>> Speaker C: Yeah, she's just walking up to you. She's on a stroll.
- 22:04>> Speaker F: She actually walks past us. Okay, bye.
- 22:08>> Speaker C: Actually, she kind of walks past you guys and looks around, and
- 22:11she's like.
- 22:12>> Speaker H: You guys were the ones that we were going
- 22:14to force to get treasure from, right?
- 22:17>> Speaker A: No.
- 22:19>> Speaker E: I mean, you guys have the map, so there's no
- 22:22force about.
- 22:24>> Speaker H: I wasn't. Hold on.
- 22:27Explain. where is the captain?
- 22:28>> Speaker F: He went to go get the.
- 22:29>> Speaker E: Where is Brock?
- 22:31>> Speaker A: Oh, yeah.
- 22:33>> Speaker H: You guys are friends with Brock?
- 22:34>> Speaker A: Well, duh.
- 22:34>> Speaker H: What am thinking?
- 22:35>> Speaker A: Yeah.
- 22:35>> Speaker H: Okay, so, okay. Where did you say captain and were?
- 22:38>> Speaker F: We sent him to go get the treasure. We gave him a map and
- 22:41everything.
- 22:43>> Speaker H: I might as well just go back to that.
- 22:44>> Speaker E: I'm sure I was going to say hours
- 22:47ago.
- 22:48>> Speaker H: Oh, my God.
- 22:49>> Speaker C: Well, yeah, okay.
- 22:50>> Speaker H: Maybe they're back at the ship anyway.
- 22:51>> Speaker A: Maybe.
- 22:52>> Speaker H: What were you saying?
- 22:53>> Speaker E: I was just going to say that's the direction they went.
- 22:55>> Speaker H: Okay, maybe I'll go that.
- 22:57>> Speaker F: Might just see them in passing, maybe carrying a large crate or something.
- 23:00>> Speaker E: Yeah, just to clarify, a point
- 23:03in the opposite direction they actually went.
- 23:05>> Speaker C: She's like, I think it's probably just.
- 23:07>> Speaker H: Easier I go back to the ship at this point. I mean, unless
- 23:10you got another map, I bet you.
- 23:14yeah, sorry, Brock. okay, so we were at
- 23:17the tea shop, and this big, angry fire
- 23:20nation dude and his cronies came in, and
- 23:23he just started dissing on some
- 23:25wang. Yeah, yeah, I
- 23:28think so. General, wang,
- 23:31long wing.
- 23:32>> Speaker A: Long.
- 23:32>> Speaker H: Oh, yeah, that sounds right.
- 23:33>> Speaker F: Yeah, you can't forget a name. Like,
- 23:37>> Speaker H: Yeah, okay, so, yeah, that sounds right. So this guy must have
- 23:40been long, and, like, Brock just kept ragging on
- 23:43this dude, and then he got mad, which, I mean,
- 23:46that's kind of what happens. And then he took him.
- 23:49>> Speaker E: Oh, took him away where?
- 23:51>> Speaker H: I think I saw him dragging him to the Udao prison facility.
- 23:54It's like a new thing that the fire nation must have built. I guess.
- 23:57>> Speaker A: I don't know.
- 23:59>> Speaker D: Oh, no. What are we going to do,
- 24:01guys? We got to get Brock back.
- 24:03>> Speaker H: Kind of over, like, on the eastern side of town. Anyway, I got to get back to the
- 24:06ship.
- 24:08>> Speaker E: You could help us find him.
- 24:10>> Speaker H: Oh, no, I have no interest whatsoever, okay?
- 24:15>> Speaker F: No team up?
- 24:16>> Speaker H: No, he paid for my tea, and that's really all I was interested
- 24:19in.
- 24:20>> Speaker F: Use them and lose them, huh?
- 24:22>> Speaker H: That's right.
- 24:23>> Speaker C: That's a great way of doing things.
- 24:25>> Speaker F: Well, guys, we got to go. Break
- 24:28rock, out, brock, out.
- 24:29>> Speaker E: Yeah, let's break rock out.
- 24:31>> Speaker F: Break rock out.
- 24:32>> Speaker D: Rock out.
- 24:33>> Speaker C: Let's rock out.
- 24:34>> Speaker F: Why don't we go back to that
- 24:36underground hidden squadron, whatever
- 24:39they were called, and we just get them to go
- 24:42raid the jail?
- 24:44>> Speaker E: Well, where's, like, the fun in that?
- 24:46>> Speaker F: it's called, we've come in behind them, and they
- 24:49do all the hard stuff for us.
- 24:51>> Speaker D: I thought most of their agents went on
- 24:54different.
- 24:57I thought most of their agents went on a
- 25:00dangerous mission or something.
- 25:02>> Speaker F: Oh, maybe.
- 25:03>> Speaker E: Yeah. Why don't we just have guao be like,
- 25:06hey, guys, you want some entertainment? I can juggle
- 25:0914 rocks.
- 25:10>> Speaker F: you can.
- 25:11>> Speaker E: My fox dog can run in there. Cause a
- 25:15dog. Oh, my gosh, bro.
- 25:18>> Speaker C: Here we go.
- 25:19>> Speaker F: I never see it.
- 25:20>> Speaker E: It's always by me.
- 25:22>> Speaker C: He never talks.
- 25:24>> Speaker E: It's a dog. very quiet.
- 25:25>> Speaker C: Dog and Skylar doesn't want to have to make the
- 25:28noise to make it, to put him into
- 25:31the scene.
- 25:32>> Speaker F: Juggle.
- 25:33>> Speaker E: Absolutely not.
- 25:34>> Speaker D: has it tried?
- 25:35>> Speaker A: Yeah.
- 25:40>> Speaker E: Throw him some rocks, but don't actually. He
- 25:43doesn't know what you're doing.
- 25:43>> Speaker F: You'll toss them.
- 25:45>> Speaker D: I toss a rock.
- 25:48>> Speaker C: Whoa.
- 25:50>> Speaker D: I think template fetch.
- 25:53Oh, thanks.
- 25:55>> Speaker F: Get back to juggling.
- 25:56>> Speaker C: I guess from where you guys are at, you can actually see the
- 25:59prison facility and the kind of pink smoke that
- 26:02billows up from it off in the distance.
- 26:04>> Speaker E: Pink?
- 26:04>> Speaker A: Yeah.
- 26:05>> Speaker F: Is that the building? The one with the pink smoke
- 26:08coming out of it?
- 26:09>> Speaker E: I have no idea.
- 26:09>> Speaker F: Let's just go over there.
- 26:12>> Speaker C: She had pointed almost directly at
- 26:14that.
- 26:15>> Speaker F: Let's just see.
- 26:16>> Speaker E: Yeah. Let's nonchalantly walk over
- 26:18to the jail.
- 26:22>> Speaker C: you guys head in that direction, and after, like, maybe ten
- 26:24minutes, you guys arrive and there's a big sign that says
- 26:27jail. Doesn't say with
- 26:30Brock in it. Sure, if he's here. It says
- 26:33udao prison facility.
- 26:36>> Speaker E: Don't they, like, get visitors?
- 26:39>> Speaker F: This is Fire nation prison. they
- 26:42get tortured.
- 26:44>> Speaker C: There's no Geneva convention.
- 26:46>> Speaker E: See if they'll have visitors.
- 26:48>> Speaker F: What?
- 26:49>> Speaker E: Let's just go see if they will allow
- 26:52visitors.
- 26:53>> Speaker F: I'm, not a big fan of that idea.
- 26:55>> Speaker E: Just the crime.
- 26:58He probably wasn't taking away for something
- 27:01serious. Maybe low key.
- 27:04>> Speaker F: He can have a fire nation
- 27:06prison. I don't think he just like, but.
- 27:09>> Speaker E: He'S not like a real threat.
- 27:11>> Speaker F: I know a bunch of people who disagree with that
- 27:14statement. He punched that one dude through a wall. Don't you
- 27:17remember?
- 27:17>> Speaker A: Okay.
- 27:18>> Speaker E: But the fire nation doesn't have a clue. He
- 27:21kind of doesn't come off as the smartest guy.
- 27:24>> Speaker F: Well, he probably did something not too smart to get him
- 27:26mad.
- 27:27>> Speaker C: If I'm going to be completely honest, I desperately want you to
- 27:30try.
- 27:30>> Speaker E: I think that I'm going to go.
- 27:33>> Speaker C: Okay.
- 27:34>> Speaker E: I'm not suggesting we all go.
- 27:36>> Speaker C: I'm just waiting out here.
- 27:37>> Speaker D: Guo, then, yeah,
- 27:40I don't think we should all go.
- 27:42>> Speaker F: I think this plan is dumb, actually.
- 27:45>> Speaker D: Is this a fire nation city? I forget.
- 27:48>> Speaker C: So it's sort of like the fire nation has come here
- 27:51because Udao is located so close to the
- 27:54earth kingdom border that you
- 27:57have, the ocean, and then there's the fire nation islands.
- 27:59So the fire nation is kind of integrated into
- 28:02this city. sort of. Somebody used
- 28:05the word gentrification. It's almost like a
- 28:08gentrification. I think it was brock ironically.
- 28:11But there's sort of like a gentrification. So
- 28:14they're sort of not infiltrating, per se, but
- 28:17kind of trying to shape the culture to be a bit more fire
- 28:20nation as sort of a way to peacefully take over,
- 28:23in a sense. So, they have representatives
- 28:26here. They've established essentially, almost like an
- 28:29embassy, but at the same time, they also have this prison
- 28:32facility that they've offered as a
- 28:35service. You could probably say, like, oh, we'll
- 28:37hold your prisoners for you kind of a thing.
- 28:40>> Speaker E: Okay, well, I'm walking in.
- 28:41>> Speaker C: Well, okay, I'll get to that.
- 28:43>> Speaker D: And the political dissidents that oppose the fire
- 28:46nation's agenda.
- 28:47>> Speaker C: Exactly. All right, Mika, you approach, and there are
- 28:50two guards standing by the door. They're wearing these very strange, very
- 28:53tight masks that go all the way around their face, and they have
- 28:56kind of a piece that juts out over in the mouth, and they
- 28:59will stand at attention. They don't seem like they want to let you through,
- 29:02but you approach them and you talk to them.
- 29:04>> Speaker E: Yeah. Hey, guys.
- 29:07>> Speaker A: Hello.
- 29:09>> Speaker E: I'm pretty sure that you have a
- 29:12guy named Brock somewhere
- 29:15around here.
- 29:16>> Speaker A: Let me check.
- 29:17>> Speaker C: And he pulls out a clipboard. He starts going
- 29:20down, and
- 29:22he's like.
- 29:23>> Speaker A: I'm, not seeing him on my list. Oh, wait, hold on.
- 29:26>> Speaker C: And then he flips over, and there's a page underneath, and he goes,
- 29:29oh, he's the new.
- 29:30>> Speaker A: Yeah, we just got him in.
- 29:32>> Speaker E: Can I say hi to him?
- 29:35>> Speaker C: they kind of, like, look at each other, and they're like,
- 29:38that's.
- 29:38>> Speaker A: Not normally how this works. who exactly
- 29:41are you? are you his wife or something?
- 29:44>> Speaker E: Yeah.
- 29:45>> Speaker A: Okay.
- 29:47>> Speaker C: roll, plead,
- 29:50which is with harmony.
- 29:52>> Speaker D: Are these the guards who arrested,
- 29:56>> Speaker C: That. The ones that arrested him handed them off to
- 29:59these guys who have the proverbial, gas masks,
- 30:01essentially.
- 30:02>> Speaker D: So they don't know Brock was cheating on his
- 30:04wife.
- 30:08>> Speaker E: I got a seven.
- 30:09>> Speaker C: A, seven. Okay, so on a seven to nine, they need
- 30:12something more. Evidence that this is the right course of action,
- 30:15guidance to make the right choice, resources to aid them, et cetera.
- 30:18Before that, they will let you act. So
- 30:21you need to give them another reason why. Okay, here,
- 30:24let me act.
- 30:25>> Speaker A: Okay, so why exactly do you
- 30:28need to see him? what's so important?
- 30:32>> Speaker E: well, I'm pregnant.
- 30:37>> Speaker C: You know what? That's a pretty good reason.
- 30:40>> Speaker E: He doesn't know.
- 30:41>> Speaker A: He doesn't know.
- 30:43>> Speaker C: They're looking at each other. They're, like, frantic at this point.
- 30:45>> Speaker A: They're like, oh, my gosh. Well, okay, so there's
- 30:48this gas, that we have in this facility
- 30:51to kind of mellow out the prisoners so they don't try to
- 30:54escape. yeah, you're going to need one of these.
- 30:57we'll give you 15, minutes.
- 30:59Okay.
- 31:00>> Speaker C: And they give you one of these masks,
- 31:04and you put it on. I'm assuming you're putting it on. You
- 31:07put it on, and then one of them leads you into the facility
- 31:10and takes you upstairs to the third floor.
- 31:13And there you see Brock, who's kind of,
- 31:16like, a little bit. He seemed a little bit zonked
- 31:18out. Just a little bit.
- 31:19>> Speaker E: Perfect.
- 31:20>> Speaker C: He's in here. And they're like, great.
- 31:23>> Speaker A: I'll be back in ten minutes to come and get you.
- 31:26whatever you do, don't take that mask off. Okay?
- 31:29>> Speaker E: You got it.
- 31:30>> Speaker C: All right. And then he walks back downstairs.
- 31:32>> Speaker E: So there's, like, no guards around. So I don't have to, like, how
- 31:35much I have to sell this act. Can they hear me or just see
- 31:38me?
- 31:38>> Speaker C: There's a guard on each floor, but the one
- 31:41that's on this floor is, like, way over in the other
- 31:44corner. So, they won't be able to hear you for sure.
- 31:47>> Speaker E: Perfect.
- 31:47>> Speaker C: They can see you, but they won't be able. Then I guess,
- 31:50yeah. You don't have to, like,
- 31:53remember that night, September
- 31:5614, when we.
- 31:58>> Speaker A: What a wild night that was.
- 32:01Well, I've got news for you.
- 32:05>> Speaker C: You didn't realize when you went and got yourself
- 32:07arrested,
- 32:12you got married. And
- 32:15what happened on September
- 32:1814 where we made a lot of big life
- 32:20decisions all at once?
- 32:24>> Speaker A: I do, bro. Miko.
- 32:27>> Speaker G: What's up, dude?
- 32:29>> Speaker C: I was kind of hoping that you.
- 32:32So good to see you.
- 32:33>> Speaker G: What's up?
- 32:34>> Speaker A: How are you?
- 32:34>> Speaker E: I'm so glad you think it's so good to see me.
- 32:37>> Speaker F: So good.
- 32:39>> Speaker G: What's up? What are you doing here? Do you get arrested
- 32:42too? Were you also hitting on a lady?
- 32:44>> Speaker E: Absolutely not.
- 32:45>> Speaker G: Did she ask for my number?
- 32:48>> Speaker E: You know, we'll get to that.
- 32:50>> Speaker F: Okay.
- 32:51>> Speaker A: Sick.
- 32:51>> Speaker C: Say, what's up?
- 32:53>> Speaker E: Well, you're in jail, and I'm in jail.
- 32:55Yeah.
- 32:56>> Speaker C: Wait, what?
- 32:57>> Speaker E: What happened? Well, you see, actually, I
- 33:00don't want to know. I only have 15 minutes.
- 33:02>> Speaker F: Okay.
- 33:03>> Speaker G: Sick. So what are you trying to do?
- 33:07>> Speaker E: How well can you escape?
- 33:10Are you out of it, or are.
- 33:11>> Speaker C: You, like, sick?
- 33:14>> Speaker G: Bro, I'm so ready. Do you
- 33:17have snacks on you?
- 33:20Did you bring any snacks?
- 33:24>> Speaker G: I know this is a long shot. I know it, I know it.
- 33:26>> Speaker E: But I don't really have pockets.
- 33:28>> Speaker G: Do you have any
- 33:31cakes on you? At this point, I would tear up,
- 33:33chocolate cake.
- 33:34>> Speaker E: I look around the I would absolutely floor around
- 33:37dismember.
- 33:38>> Speaker C: It's just like a wood, like, walkway all around.
- 33:47>> Speaker G: My best friend, if you had some chips right now,
- 33:51I'd marry you.
- 33:52>> Speaker C: If you had some chips.
- 33:59>> Speaker F: Funny fact.
- 34:02>> Speaker E: Okay, well, we had to figure out a way to break you out.
- 34:05Also, if the guards come and ask you,
- 34:08we're married and having your
- 34:11child.
- 34:14>> Speaker G: When did that happen?
- 34:19Aren't you like
- 34:201417? Okay,
- 34:24that makes it a little better.
- 34:25>> Speaker C: I was going to say it's a much safer situation. That is a much safer
- 34:28situation.
- 34:30>> Speaker G: Yeah, but you're not really my type. I'm sorry?
- 34:33>> Speaker E: Well, for having a baby.
- 34:35>> Speaker G: I don't know what came over me. I'm sorry.
- 34:38are you going to need some, I don't
- 34:41know, some money or something?
- 34:46>> Speaker E: There's only wood.
- 34:49Do they get like water in their cells?
- 34:52>> Speaker C: Let me tell you, not in their cells. You wonder if maybe they
- 34:54bring it to them? it's kind of like a once, probably not once
- 34:57a day, maybe two or three times a day they get a meal and they'll get like a thing
- 35:00of water and a very specific kind of like
- 35:03maybe metal cup, like probably a tin cup or something.
- 35:08>> Speaker E: So nothing he can use and nothing I can use.
- 35:11>> Speaker C: He's got his pebbles, which I guess you don't know about.
- 35:14I mean, there's got to be water in this
- 35:16facility.
- 35:17>> Speaker E: Like, what about the cells around me?
- 35:19>> Speaker A: Sure. Yeah.
- 35:22>> Speaker C: Okay. do a. Assess the situation.
- 35:24>> Speaker G: Why are you just standing there rolling dice? Where'd you get the
- 35:27dice?
- 35:29>> Speaker C: Becomes meta. Break the
- 35:32fourth wall.
- 35:33>> Speaker E: Seven.
- 35:33>> Speaker C: A seven. Okay, so you can ask me one of those questions.
- 35:36What here can I use to blank? Who or what is the biggest threat?
- 35:39What should I be on the lookout for? What's my best way in? Out or
- 35:42through? Who or what is in
- 35:45the greatest danger?
- 35:46>> Speaker G: Do you also hear a disembodied
- 35:49voice?
- 35:49>> Speaker E: Prague, can you just shut up for a second?
- 35:52>> Speaker A: Okay. Sick.
- 35:52>> Speaker G: I'll spirit here.
- 35:53>> Speaker E: Thanks. I'm going to do.
- 35:56>> Speaker C: I mean, if we're going off number one. Yeah, I was going
- 35:59to say what could you use to water bin?
- 36:02>> Speaker E: Yeah.
- 36:02>> Speaker C: Okay, so, kind of going off of your thinking because I like
- 36:05where you were going with that. So you notice
- 36:08that one of the cells,
- 36:12there sure enough, is kind of just a tin
- 36:14kind of cafeteria tray. And it's got some obscure
- 36:17food items on it. And then it's a cup. And you see the dude that's
- 36:20in there is just like in his cot and he's just
- 36:23sleeping. So he wasn't awake when they put the food in
- 36:26there. And so it's completely untouched. So there's a
- 36:29tin with some water in it that you could.
- 36:32>> Speaker E: Can I reach the cup or not? I'd have to bend
- 36:35the water out.
- 36:36>> Speaker C: You might actually be able to reach it. I think they would have, like, slid it in.
- 36:39So it's within reaching distance.
- 36:41>> Speaker E: Okay. I'm going to grab the cup with the water.
- 36:43>> Speaker C: Okay, sounds good.
- 36:45>> Speaker E: And what kind of lock are
- 36:48we dealing with?
- 36:49>> Speaker C: yes. So it's definitely going to be a metal lock, and
- 36:52it's pretty much one of those straightforward ones. It's got the
- 36:55hook around it and then the body of the lock kind
- 36:58of clips together and then it's open by a key.
- 37:02>> Speaker E: Can I use the.
- 37:05>> Speaker C: Otherwise the door is wood.
- 37:08>> Speaker E: Yeah. But I don't think that I would have enough water to get the
- 37:11wood wet and warp it. you know what I mean?
- 37:15So I think I'm going to
- 37:17water bend the water into
- 37:20the lock and then freeze it.
- 37:23>> Speaker A: Okay.
- 37:23>> Speaker C: Yeah.
- 37:26Do rely on your skills and training.
- 37:28>> Speaker G: Man. There you go again. Where are these dice coming from,
- 37:31man? It's so weird. You just stand. We're
- 37:34stalking it out.
- 37:39>> Speaker E: My God, she got a seven.
- 37:41>> Speaker C: A seven again. You're good
- 37:44at.
- 37:47>> Speaker A: Okay.
- 37:47>> Speaker C: You do it imperfectly. I tell you what. the
- 37:49unexpected consequences.
- 37:51>> Speaker E: Okay.
- 37:51>> Speaker C: Actually, that's perfect. Or you can mark a
- 37:53fatigue. I can tell you what those
- 37:56consequences are if you want. It's almost like, I think because
- 37:59that's what it says. It says you can either accept those consequences or mark
- 38:02one fatigue to avoid them.
- 38:03>> Speaker E: I'll do a fatigue.
- 38:04>> Speaker G: Okay.
- 38:06>> Speaker C: It feels weird for me to say what was going
- 38:09to happen and then have you mark a fatigue to take it
- 38:12back.
- 38:12>> Speaker E: Yeah, I don't.
- 38:13>> Speaker C: Because it wouldn't have been a situation that would have been like, take it
- 38:16back. Yeah.
- 38:18>> Speaker A: Okay.
- 38:18>> Speaker C: So you push, a little bit harder
- 38:21with your bending in order to really freeze this up, to
- 38:24really break into this lock. and it
- 38:27works. It works. So the lock clicks open.
- 38:44>> Speaker B: hey, everyone. Skyler here. Are you a fan of session zero

- 39:25>> Speaker G: Okay, Brock, maybe like, it's a good thing
- 39:27we're.
- 39:30>> Speaker E: Yeah.
- 39:31>> Speaker G: Yeah.
- 39:31>> Speaker E: I'm going to give you this mask. You put it on
- 39:34for like 2 seconds, 5 seconds, and then
- 39:37I'm gonna take it back. And maybe you'll get some
- 39:39clarification.
- 39:40>> Speaker C: Nah, you'll get claritin
- 39:43Claire.
- 39:44>> Speaker G: Nah, dude, I'm chilling.
- 39:47I'm so good right now.
- 39:48>> Speaker E: I'm so, okay, let me assess the
- 39:51situation to see if
- 39:54there's, like, indiscrete, way to get
- 39:56out.
- 39:57>> Speaker C: Okay, so what's my best way
- 40:00in? Out or through?
- 40:01>> Speaker A: Out.
- 40:01>> Speaker C: In or through?
- 40:02>> Speaker E: Let's hope.
- 40:03>> Speaker G: Do you have this in? Like, I'll try two hands, like a pack
- 40:06or something.
- 40:07>> Speaker E: Oh, my gosh. I
- 40:10got a six.
- 40:11>> Speaker C: A six.
- 40:11>> Speaker A: that's just shy. That's just shy.
- 40:14>> Speaker C: you look around and I mean, as far as you can
- 40:17tell, the only way out of here is going to be
- 40:20going down the stairs and walking out the front door. You look
- 40:23and you don't see that there's a back door. You don't
- 40:26see another way out. And then to top it off, obviously for you,
- 40:28getting out of here, easy to bring Brock with you. That's
- 40:31going to be tricky. There's no windows in this facility
- 40:34or anything like that. Mostly, just to keep the
- 40:37smoke in so that it rises up just through the top.
- 40:40I suppose I could say that there is
- 40:43the chimney, and it's a fairly wide chimney,
- 40:46but it's a little ways above you. So, I mean, I guess
- 40:49there's that. That's more than I should have told you, but there you
- 40:52go.
- 40:52>> Speaker G: Dude, I got an idea.
- 40:55You get on my shoulders and we get a trench
- 40:57coat. We just walk out.
- 41:00>> Speaker C: Brilliant, dude.
- 41:01>> Speaker E: It's like, where are we going to get a trench?
- 41:03>> Speaker C: Oh, I'm so pregnant. I got taller.
- 41:07Normal with pregnant women.
- 41:08>> Speaker G: Okay, that's a good point. what if
- 41:11we say I'm your baby and you went
- 41:14into and you had the baby
- 41:17in the prison?
- 41:18>> Speaker E: You're like twice as tall as I am.
- 41:23>> Speaker A: I just. Benjamin, buddy.
- 41:25>> Speaker E: I thought I would be dead.
- 41:26>> Speaker G: Okay,
- 41:29man. Can you conjure those dice up
- 41:32and maybe get some snacks? Maybe it'll help me think.
- 41:35>> Speaker A: Absolutely.
- 41:36>> Speaker E: not. Hey, I can get this guy's food. I grabbed
- 41:38that guy's food.
- 41:40>> Speaker A: There you go.
- 41:42>> Speaker G: Flopped face right the trash.
- 41:46>> Speaker C: Come to find out that this guy just, like, stole bread for
- 41:49his family. He just took his food for the day.
- 41:53okay. Yeah, I guess. There you go. There's your snacks.
- 41:55>> Speaker A: Yeah.
- 41:55>> Speaker E: Does it give him any clarity?
- 41:57>> Speaker G: No.
- 41:58>> Speaker C: I mean, he's still actively just breathing in this
- 42:02dude.
- 42:02>> Speaker G: I did make these, like, little spit pebbles.
- 42:06I got, like, five. I don't know what to do.
- 42:08>> Speaker C: let's take a jump outside real quick and see what
- 42:11Guel and Bill are up to. So you guys saw her manage
- 42:14to get. Look, sir, he can
- 42:17juggle eight rocks. Ready for
- 42:20number nine?
- 42:22>> Speaker A: Ready.
- 42:22>> Speaker C: Guel and I toss him number nine. okay.
- 42:25What do you mean? Are you just distracting him? Are you just trying to
- 42:28distract them or hold their. There's just a
- 42:31single guard out front, right? There's two guards that. Well, the
- 42:34one eventually comes back, and he just.
- 42:37>> Speaker A: We got juggling going on out here. What's the deal? And the dude's
- 42:40like, I don't know. These two kids just walked up, and
- 42:43the one started juggling, and I wasn't going to stop him.
- 42:46>> Speaker D: Welcome to the show. Tips are
- 42:49accepted. And the money to that
- 42:52squid right there.
- 42:54>> Speaker A: Oh, it's like. Oh, it's like one of them street performers, except
- 42:57they come to you. Hey, that's convenient. That's not a bad idea.
- 43:00>> Speaker C: We're desperate.
- 43:05>> Speaker F: Watch him do ten rocks.
- 43:08>> Speaker C: You could do ten rocks. Another rock.
- 43:11>> Speaker C: Oh, my gosh.
- 43:12>> Speaker D: How many rocks will it take?
- 43:14>> Speaker A: Do you want to take bets, dude? Yeah, I'll take bets. All
- 43:16right. I say he gets the twelve
- 43:19solid dozen. That makes sense to me. It's like, well,
- 43:22100 yuan says,
- 43:25he gets the 13. All right, you're on.
- 43:27>> Speaker F: I say 100, he gets the
- 43:3015.
- 43:34>> Speaker A: Wait a minute. You know this guy? Hold on. I don't know if I want
- 43:37to take that bet.
- 43:38>> Speaker F: I've never seen him get the 15. And that's the
- 43:41honest truth.
- 43:42>> Speaker A: I don't know.
- 43:46>> Speaker C: Do plead.
- 43:50>> Speaker D: I only got to 14 earlier.
- 43:52>> Speaker F: That's true. I helped him.
- 43:57>> Speaker A: I don't know. Like I said, why are
- 44:00you here if he's here? It really feels like you know this guy.
- 44:03There's no reason you wouldn't know how many he's able to get
- 44:05to.
- 44:06>> Speaker C: That's fair.
- 44:07>> Speaker F: I don't.
- 44:08>> Speaker A: Eleven.
- 44:13>> Speaker F: We're just entertaining. Do we have a
- 44:16goal quote?
- 44:18>> Speaker A: I don't know.
- 44:21>> Speaker C: I mean, I guess you guys don't know that there's more
- 44:24people inside the facility, so maybe you just see it as you're
- 44:27buying. you know, these are the only
- 44:30two here.
- 44:30>> Speaker F: Yeah, this is the guy that's supposed to get Mika. and we just keep
- 44:33distracting. Buys them more time
- 44:36upstairs, I guess.
- 44:37>> Speaker C: All right, sounds good. Well, hey, to be fair, you're not wrong, because
- 44:40the guy that came back was the same guy that
- 44:43said he would go upstairs and get her when she's
- 44:46done. Oh, well, look at that. So we are in it. You actually
- 44:48are giving them more time.
- 44:50>> Speaker A: There we go.
- 44:51>> Speaker C: There you go. twelve.
- 44:53>> Speaker A: Oh, my gosh. Oh,
- 44:56my gosh. All right, well, if he makes it any higher, you owe
- 44:59me 100.
- 45:00>> Speaker F: Bill's holding the rock.
- 45:03>> Speaker C: The big rock.
- 45:04>> Speaker A: All right.
- 45:04>> Speaker C: And just as you're throwing it to go, we cut back
- 45:07to
- 45:10Brock.
- 45:11>> Speaker E: I am going to take,
- 45:14the hem of my dress and rip it so I can do
- 45:16a face cover.
- 45:18>> Speaker C: Kind of just a makeshift face cover.
- 45:19>> Speaker E: Okay. See if that helps at all.
- 45:21>> Speaker C: Yeah, sounds good.
- 45:24>> Speaker C: We'Ll, call that a guide and comfort.
- 45:27>> Speaker E: Seven.
- 45:30>> Speaker G: Really good at that.
- 45:31>> Speaker E: You're really good at that. Seven. Supposed to be
- 45:34like a lucky number or something.
- 45:36>> Speaker A: M hold on.
- 45:37>> Speaker G: I hear it's the most common number.
- 45:39>> Speaker D: Do you guys look for holes in the ceiling yet?
- 45:42>> Speaker E: No, I already tried to assess the situation.
- 45:46>> Speaker C: okay.
- 45:47>> Speaker G: Taking a shot at our Lec building.
- 45:50>> Speaker C: Here's the way that I see this. usually guide and comfort is
- 45:52used for more emotional side kind
- 45:55of guide and comfort somebody. and then they
- 45:58kind of choose whether or not they want to go along
- 46:01with that. And given that Brock has kind of been like,
- 46:04hold on. I'm kind of enjoying this smoke.
- 46:07It's up to Brock to decide whether or not they want to
- 46:10embrace the guidance that Mika is
- 46:13offering them or they want to shut them down.
- 46:15>> Speaker E: It's like, nah, man.
- 46:17>> Speaker G: Yeah, like the smoke.
- 46:19Everyone's in here just so chill, man. Why would I want
- 46:22to put an end to that?
- 46:24>> Speaker E: Well, who says this puts an end to anything?
- 46:28Maybe the smokiness
- 46:31or whatever just materializes
- 46:34in your mask and it gives you even more of a high.
- 46:36>> Speaker G: Dude, you're so right.
- 46:38>> Speaker E: Yeah.
- 46:39>> Speaker G: let's do it, man.
- 46:40>> Speaker A: All right.
- 46:41>> Speaker C: You put the mask over your face, and
- 46:44you embrace her guidance,
- 46:47and you can clear a condition
- 46:50which at the moment is just impaired.
- 46:51>> Speaker G: I guess I got to clear impaired.
- 46:53>> Speaker E: Yeah, I guess.
- 46:55>> Speaker C: It also says, and again, this kind of comes with the more. Like,
- 46:58normally this is used as more of an emotional
- 47:01guiding comfort, but it also says, you may ask them a
- 47:04question and they must answer honestly. I don't know if
- 47:07that really applies here.
- 47:09>> Speaker F: I get to ask her a question?
- 47:10>> Speaker C: Technically, yes.
- 47:11>> Speaker E: you get to ask.
- 47:11>> Speaker A: Okay.
- 47:12>> Speaker G: So, like, be real with me.
- 47:14>> Speaker E: Yeah.
- 47:15>> Speaker G: Did she ask for my number?
- 47:17>> Speaker C: You said we talked about it later, to be honest.
- 47:20>> Speaker G: You got to be honest. She asked for my number? She talked about
- 47:22me?
- 47:23>> Speaker E: She didn't ask me for your number.
- 47:28>> Speaker G: But did she ask
- 47:30anyone about my number? Did she like.
- 47:33>> Speaker E: Not that I heard.
- 47:35>> Speaker G: What kind of vibes were you picking up from her?
- 47:38Like she was into it.
- 47:39>> Speaker A: Right.
- 47:41>> Speaker E: I mean, she was in a pretty big hurry
- 47:45when I saw, mean.
- 47:48>> Speaker G: I'm taking that as a,
- 47:49>> Speaker A: Yes.
- 47:49>> Speaker C: Well, hold on. I was going to say, Miguel, you do have to answer
- 47:52honestly, explicitly.
- 47:53>> Speaker E: I did.
- 47:54>> Speaker C: Okay.
- 47:54>> Speaker E: She was in a hurry.
- 47:56>> Speaker C: She was in a hurry.
- 47:57>> Speaker E: I'm trying to be vague but truthful.
- 48:00>> Speaker G: She walked.
- 48:03>> Speaker C: That's not a question, so you don't have to answer that honestly.
- 48:06Okay, awesome. So, okay, you've got the mask on
- 48:09your head. Starts to clear up a little bit. It's not perfect. You still
- 48:12feel maybe not as
- 48:14positive. I'm going to say that, moving
- 48:17forward, you probably have
- 48:20at the very least. So normally with
- 48:23impaired, and I know it said it cleared the condition
- 48:26per se, but given that it's kind of a
- 48:28makeshift situation, you're like half impaired, so you're
- 48:31still going to take a minus one to physical actions.
- 48:34but it's less than it was before. And this is just
- 48:37because in any RPG game, there are some
- 48:40kind of custom stuff that you have to kind of come up with along the way. Do
- 48:43you got a homebrew, given the circumstances? And that's where I feel like
- 48:46we're at. It's not a perfect gas mask. Like, what
- 48:49she has that actively is meant to work in this
- 48:51situation.
- 48:52>> Speaker G: It's like 50% high.
- 48:54>> Speaker C: Yeah, you're only 50% high. you feel a little bit of energy
- 48:57start to come back as you're getting like just normal air and stuff like
- 49:00that. but you're not
- 49:03going to get perfect by any means. You're not going to get fresh
- 49:06oxygen, two coming into your lungs until
- 49:09you get out of here. So that's where you guys are at now.
- 49:12You know that there's a guard across the way. You know
- 49:15that if he looks over,
- 49:18he's going to see situations, or if you guys are trying to escape, he's probably going
- 49:20to notice there's a guard on the second floor, and then there's
- 49:23the two guards that you have to get past. There might be somebody else down
- 49:26all the way at the first floor. You're not sure. when
- 49:29you came in, you didn't see anybody, so that's a good
- 49:32sign. But anything out of
- 49:35place is going to attract these guards attention. What are you
- 49:38doing, Brock?
- 49:39>> Speaker E: How are we going to get out of here?
- 49:43let's hear one of your crazy plans.
- 49:45>> Speaker G: What crazy? What are you talking about?
- 49:47>> Speaker E: Uncrazy plans, your normal
- 49:49plans.
- 49:52>> Speaker G: Are there any guards
- 49:54here?
- 49:55>> Speaker E: Yeah, there's the guy down the end.
- 49:57>> Speaker G: Of the hall that I could hit on.
- 49:59>> Speaker E: And then you could try hitting on that guy. I could
- 50:02hit on that guy?
- 50:03>> Speaker G: Yeah. Does he know that you're
- 50:06pregnant?
- 50:08>> Speaker E: this one? I don't think so.
- 50:09>> Speaker G: Okay, I say give it a try.
- 50:12And then maybe if it does work,
- 50:16fantastic.
- 50:17>> Speaker E: Okay, if it doesn't work, here's the thing.
- 50:19>> Speaker G: Then you get, like, a date Friday.
- 50:20>> Speaker E: If it doesn't work, here's the thing.
- 50:22>> Speaker G: Yeah.
- 50:23>> Speaker E: I'll try and distract him, move him
- 50:26out of the doorway a little bit. You sneak by
- 50:28him. M once
- 50:31I see you pass him, then
- 50:34I'll cut this, I don't know,
- 50:37whatever. Rendezvous short.
- 50:38>> Speaker G: I think I got an idea. So you talk to
- 50:41him, right? And then
- 50:44I got my spit pebbles, right?
- 50:46>> Speaker E: I could throw pebbles.
- 50:48>> Speaker G: Yeah, don't ask about it on the ground.
- 50:51>> Speaker C: You said, I've got these spit pebbles, right?
- 50:54And then she said, what? And then you said,
- 50:57don't ask. And she's like, yeah,
- 50:59you kind of.
- 51:00>> Speaker G: Implied I was supposed, okay, so basically
- 51:03I had dust on my feet from outside, right?
- 51:07>> Speaker C: So then I spit, dust that I licked.
- 51:09>> Speaker G: So then I spit on my feet, and then I made, like,
- 51:12little mud balls. They're basically little pebbles.
- 51:15I got like five of them. So you can go chat
- 51:17them up, right? Go really become the
- 51:20rizzard of Oz out there. The
- 51:23Rizzler per
- 51:25know. Take him on a trip to world, if you get
- 51:28what I'm saying.
- 51:29>> Speaker E: I get what you're think.
- 51:31>> Speaker G: And then you got five more in
- 51:34the, and then, like, I'll throw some of
- 51:37those pebbles over there. It's just like, he's like, oh, what's that?
- 51:40>> Speaker E: And then I'll ask.
- 51:44>> Speaker G: yeah, that's probably better first. But
- 51:46then maybe give me
- 51:49one of them masks. You know what I'm saying? So
- 51:52just take him out and just
- 51:55grab the mask.
- 51:56>> Speaker E: How am I going to take him out?
- 51:58>> Speaker G: Well, I mean, you could ask him like 07:00 and then
- 52:01you can meet him at tea or something.
- 52:04>> Speaker E: I thought you meant, like, you want me to knock him out and get his m mask that
- 52:07he's wearing.
- 52:08>> Speaker G: Oh, you could do that, too.
- 52:09>> Speaker E: Okay, I'll figure it out.
- 52:11>> Speaker A: Okay.
- 52:12>> Speaker E: I got you.
- 52:13>> Speaker C: All right, so, Mika, you're approaching
- 52:16the third floor guard, and, as you approach him,
- 52:19he kind of looks a little bit off and he says,
- 52:22>> Speaker A: Can I help you with something, ma'am?
- 52:26>> Speaker E: I wanted to know your name.
- 52:30>> Speaker A: my name is Bay.
- 52:32>> Speaker C: No, that sounds ridiculous.
- 52:34>> Speaker E: My name is Bay.
- 52:36>> Speaker C: Want to be mine?
- 52:40Because people throw a tantrum and they're like, bing bong.
- 52:43His name is Bing Bong.
- 52:46Joe Biden. Joe Biden.
- 52:49>> Speaker A: I didn't say.
- 52:49>> Speaker F: I said bing bong.
- 52:50>> Speaker C: No, his name is
- 52:53Yoinki.
- 52:54>> Speaker A: my name is,
- 52:57>> Speaker C: Sorry, hold on.
- 53:00>> Speaker E: You can be my bay.
- 53:01>> Speaker A: Bjor.
- 53:03>> Speaker G: Stop.
- 53:05>> Speaker A: Norwegian.
- 53:06>> Speaker F: He's a Norwegian. That's his second
- 53:09identity.
- 53:11>> Speaker C: His name is Bjork.
- 53:13>> Speaker A: my name is by,
- 53:16like, the drink.
- 53:18>> Speaker C: Is that a drink? It's a drink.
- 53:20>> Speaker G: They got Justin Timberlake to.
- 53:23>> Speaker C: that's where they got the name.
- 53:26>> Speaker E: Got.
- 53:26>> Speaker F: You still got a Bing bong family name.
- 53:34I think about my favorite.
- 53:36>> Speaker A: NPC.
- 53:37>> Speaker C: I was going to say NPC. improv
- 53:40debate. Maybe has to stay in the
- 53:42episode.
- 53:45>> Speaker A: my name is Bal. Can I help you with something?
- 53:48Are you.
- 53:49>> Speaker E: That's like, a really cute name. And I, like, twirl my
- 53:52hair.
- 53:53>> Speaker C: All right, I'm going to have you roll
- 53:56for flirting on.
- 53:58>> Speaker E: I'm tired of rolling.
- 54:00>> Speaker C: You haven't done anything yet.
- 54:01>> Speaker A: So we'll get there.
- 54:02>> Speaker C: We'll get there.
- 54:03>> Speaker E: Hopefully.
- 54:04>> Speaker C: Worst case, I think it'll actually work.
- 54:06>> Speaker E: And then I'll try some different dice
- 54:09trick.
- 54:09>> Speaker C: it could be either, but anyways, we're not even there yet. We haven't
- 54:12gotten to a point where you're trying to get him to do anything.
- 54:15So what do you keep going?
- 54:17>> Speaker E: Trying to flirt, like, hey, that's a cute
- 54:20name. I lean all cute against
- 54:22the wall. Yeah. I mean, I've never heard
- 54:25of it.
- 54:27>> Speaker A: It's, Where are you from?
- 54:30>> Speaker E: Gaoing.
- 54:31>> Speaker A: Oh, gawling. Yeah. Well, I'm from the fire nation,
- 54:33so I don't know if you've ever been to the fire nation before, but,
- 54:36yeah, it's not the
- 54:39most common fire nation name by any means.
- 54:43It's a pretty interesting, if I.
- 54:45>> Speaker E: Do say so much, it's pretty unique.
- 54:48Like you.
- 54:56>> Speaker A: So what brings you
- 54:59to the udale prison facility?
- 55:06>> Speaker E: My brother down there, he got himself
- 55:08captured somehow.
- 55:11>> Speaker A: I'm sorry to hear that. Yeah. are you guys
- 55:14close?
- 55:15>> Speaker E: I mean, not really.
- 55:18>> Speaker A: Was it just more like out of obligation?
- 55:20Like, your parents made you come down?
- 55:22>> Speaker E: They're like, hey, check him out, make sure he's
- 55:25okay. And I'm like, really?
- 55:28>> Speaker A: He's high. Yeah, I
- 55:30get it, I get it. I've got family, too. Siblings
- 55:33are just the worst sometimes.
- 55:35>> Speaker E: Yeah.
- 55:37>> Speaker C: All right.
- 55:40>> Speaker A: You got him pretty well distracted.
- 55:42>> Speaker C: He's looking at you. I like to think that he's trying to get a
- 55:45glimpse of, like, oh, okay. I'll, take a look at her
- 55:48ear sticking out from behind the mask. Oh, that's an
- 55:51attractive ear.
- 55:52>> Speaker E: I'm really going that I have really piercing eyes or
- 55:55something.
- 55:57>> Speaker C: Can't see anything behind that. He has no
- 55:59idea what your face looks like, but he's curious.
- 56:02I guess the flirting is by curious.
- 56:08>> Speaker E: It's all about body language.
- 56:10>> Speaker C: Yes, it is.
- 56:11>> Speaker A: Yes, it is.
- 56:12>> Speaker C: Ursula, let me see that body
- 56:15talk, man. That has always stuck
- 56:17with me about that. It's a body
- 56:20language anyway.
- 56:22>> Speaker F: Melissa McCartney.
- 56:23>> Speaker C: That's right. Brock, what are you doing?
- 56:25>> Speaker G: first off, I'm watching this masterpiece
- 56:28go down.
- 56:28>> Speaker C: it's working, it's working.
- 56:30>> Speaker E: He's probably over there, like, hey.
- 56:32>> Speaker G: I should just let her flounder. I know I'm in
- 56:35jail, but this is too funny.
- 56:37>> Speaker E: You are somewhat high.
- 56:38>> Speaker G: I am somewhat high.
- 56:39>> Speaker C: Yeah, that's true.
- 56:41>> Speaker G: I'll throw a pebble down and just
- 56:44try and just pop. Not like trying
- 56:46to hurt him. Just make a sound
- 56:49so that he tries to turn around, like, oh, like.
- 56:52>> Speaker C: Behind him or something. Or like in the cell behind him, like it goes into the.
- 56:55>> Speaker A: Yeah.
- 56:55>> Speaker G: To where he turns around.
- 56:56>> Speaker C: Yeah. okay. Yeah, you do that. I'm not going to make you push
- 56:59your luck again.
- 57:00>> Speaker E: This is just like a really,
- 57:01>> Speaker G: Yeah, so you can with them.
- 57:03>> Speaker C: We're working with pebbles here.
- 57:05>> Speaker E: Sneak by, though.
- 57:06>> Speaker G: Well, whoops.
- 57:08>> Speaker C: I mean, if he's distracted.
- 57:12>> Speaker A: I may.
- 57:13>> Speaker C: Have forgotten
- 57:16he doesn't have his clipboard to keep track of.
- 57:18>> Speaker F: Poor guy.
- 57:19>> Speaker C: Yeah.
- 57:20>> Speaker G: So I'm just guy on the
- 57:23left.
- 57:26>> Speaker C: Oh, shoot. This is technically a physical. I
- 57:29should make you roll for it. Do, rely on your skills or
- 57:32train in training?
- 57:33>> Speaker G: Do I roll? With creativity, passion, focus.
- 57:35>> Speaker C: It is a focus.
- 57:36>> Speaker G: Okay.
- 57:37>> Speaker F: Minus two to it.
- 57:38>> Speaker C: No, he has minus one.
- 57:39>> Speaker G: Wait, I thought. Because I'm not impaired anymore, right?
- 57:43>> Speaker E: Remember, minus one.
- 57:44>> Speaker G: So five.
- 57:45>> Speaker A: Five.
- 57:47>> Speaker C: you fling this rock and it just bounces
- 57:50off of his armor. And he's talking
- 57:53to Mika, and he kind of looks down and he goes, what
- 57:56the.
- 57:58>> Speaker E: Wait, I'm going to do the bend.
- 58:00>> Speaker C: And snap from legally
- 58:02blonde.
- 58:05>> Speaker G: The bend and snap is if something's on the ground, the
- 58:07girl will sensually bend over.
- 58:10>> Speaker C: So the guy gets a piece and then snap.
- 58:12>> Speaker H: Snap.
- 58:13>> Speaker F: Did it work?
- 58:14>> Speaker C: Go push your luck.
- 58:17We have left. Rely on your skills in training at this point.
- 58:20This is not something she
- 58:23snapped. Something you add passion,
- 58:25if that means anything.
- 58:27>> Speaker E: Six.
- 58:31>> Speaker C: he's already distracted. He doesn't even notice you bend in
- 58:34the first place.
- 58:34>> Speaker A: All right?
- 58:35>> Speaker C: So at this point, I think the key part of bending
- 58:38and snapping.
- 58:40>> Speaker G: So now, Brock, I'm going to rush out.
- 58:44I kind of stumble a bit, but if there's, like a railing, I kind of
- 58:47rush out, rush to the railing. I'm going to charge at this guy.
- 58:49Stay away from my wife.
- 58:54>> Speaker F: And I'm just running at him.
- 58:55>> Speaker C: And you're just going to try to clock him, basically.
- 59:00Stay away from my wife. Stay away
- 59:03from my wife.
- 59:04>> Speaker A: All right. Do it.
- 59:05>> Speaker C: Rely on your skills in training. I don't want to get into, like a whole exchange.
- 59:07I don't feel like that's really six
- 59:12because you don't have focus.
- 59:15>> Speaker G: If it's with force, then it's a
- 59:18seven.
- 59:19>> Speaker C: So what you could do your balance.
- 59:22That's true. So if you want to, you can
- 59:24take with force. So what you'll do is you'll move
- 59:27force up one, and then you will take
- 59:30an exhaustion, if I remember correctly.
- 59:32>> Speaker G: So an extra fatigue or fatigue.
- 59:34>> Speaker A: Yes.
- 59:34>> Speaker G: Sorry, I'm down for that. So I've rushed him.
- 59:37Stay away from my wife.
- 59:39>> Speaker E: He isn't time to react.
- 59:41>> Speaker C: Yeah, exactly. He's looked up and
- 59:43then he looks over at
- 59:46Mika just in time, just to see the snap. And you
- 59:49can kind of see him go like, dang it.
- 59:52And then all of a sudden, boom. Brock just
- 59:55tackles this guy to the ground. Okay,
- 59:58well, yeah, there's like a bounce off the wall and then onto the
- 1:00:01ground. You've got him on the ground. What are you doing?
- 1:00:03>> Speaker G: I'm going to try and take the mask, off.
- 1:00:04>> Speaker A: Okay.
- 1:00:05>> Speaker C: You pull his mask off of his face. You're on top
- 1:00:08of him. You've got him on the ground. You pull the mask off of his face. He
- 1:00:11goes, oh, no, he's holding his
- 1:00:13breath.
- 1:00:14>> Speaker G: Don't fight it, bro. It's so chill out.
- 1:00:16>> Speaker C: That's a really creepy thing to you. Like, lean down and whisper in his
- 1:00:19ear.
- 1:00:19>> Speaker G: Don't fight it. It's so sick. Oh, my
- 1:00:22gosh.
- 1:00:22>> Speaker C: It's kind of creepy.
- 1:00:26He's holding his breath. He doesn't want to breathe this stuff in.
- 1:00:29>> Speaker G: All right, that's fair, dude. I mean, you do you.
- 1:00:31>> Speaker C: And he's trying to wrestle you a little bit.
- 1:00:34>> Speaker G: All right, well, he's going to have to breathe at some point,
- 1:00:37so can I just stay on top of him until he takes a few
- 1:00:39breaths.
- 1:00:40>> Speaker C: You just hold him down for a little bit.
- 1:00:42>> Speaker E: Bye.
- 1:00:43>> Speaker C: Ironically, he's not able to shout because
- 1:00:46that would require him to open his mouth
- 1:00:49and eventually he has to breathe
- 1:00:52some air. Maybe you kind of like, push on him or something while
- 1:00:55you're doing your struggle. And he goes, no, this is
- 1:00:57weird. He's not
- 1:01:00sleeping.
- 1:01:01>> Speaker F: Choking.
- 1:01:02>> Speaker C: Yeah, it's a weird take. Typically, people
- 1:01:05choke, but knocks the guard out.
- 1:01:07>> Speaker A: He's like, breathe.
- 1:01:12>> Speaker C: And sure enough, eventually he does breathe and he
- 1:01:15just kind of. He goes a little
- 1:01:18bit limp. Not like I'm unconscious
- 1:01:21limp, but he just kind of looks a little dazed.
- 1:01:23>> Speaker G: So now I got the mask on. Now it's like, dude, isn't
- 1:01:26it so sick, man? It's so awesome.
- 1:01:29How are you feeling, dude?
- 1:01:34>> Speaker C: When I leave for the day, I usually just
- 1:01:37take a big old breath.
- 1:01:39>> Speaker A: Full.
- 1:01:39>> Speaker C: Oh, yeah, it's pretty good
- 1:01:42stuff. Hey, could you get back
- 1:01:45in your cell? That'd be real cool.
- 1:01:48>> Speaker G: You know what? For you tell you what, you and
- 1:01:51I, we can just walk there together.
- 1:01:52>> Speaker C: Yeah, this one's great.
- 1:01:53>> Speaker G: Hey, so the two of us are going to walk. I just got my arm
- 1:01:56around.
- 1:01:57>> Speaker A: Yeah.
- 1:01:57>> Speaker G: And I just chuck them in.
- 1:02:01The lock's broken, but just like, I'll chuck him in there.
- 1:02:04Dude, this was my cell. I'll tell you what, I hid
- 1:02:07some snacks in there, so just like,
- 1:02:10I got some chips in there. I can't remember where I put them, so you're
- 1:02:13going to have to look around for them. But, dude, they're in there.
- 1:02:17I'm not going to leave you hanging, bro. We got some snacks for
- 1:02:20people.
- 1:02:20>> Speaker C: I think I'm just going to take a seat here for a little bit. He's just
- 1:02:23sitting on the cot. He's like, I've been
- 1:02:26standing on my feet all day.
- 1:02:27>> Speaker A: Yeah, man.
- 1:02:28>> Speaker G: I mean, that sucks.
- 1:02:29>> Speaker A: I mean, you gotta. You gotta.
- 1:02:29>> Speaker G: You gotta rest yourself.
- 1:02:31>> Speaker E: Rest that handsome face.
- 1:02:32>> Speaker G: Show needed R r and no heart, Beyonce, bro.
- 1:02:35>> Speaker C: All right, and I'll see. I'll see you
- 1:02:38later.
- 1:02:41He was talking to Mika. He doesn't care.
- 1:02:50>> Speaker A: All right.
- 1:02:51>> Speaker G: Yeah, I guess, we're good.
- 1:02:52>> Speaker A: You guys.
- 1:02:54>> Speaker C: You guys start making your way to.
- 1:02:56>> Speaker E: The downtown second floor.
- 1:02:59>> Speaker C: Okay, good song.
- 1:03:01>> Speaker A: Okay.
- 1:03:01>> Speaker C: Anyway, you guys get to the second floor and
- 1:03:04there's another guard down there, and he hasn't quite spotted
- 1:03:07you yet. But you know that there's a little bit of distance that you'd have to
- 1:03:10go before you get to that second stairwell, and he might notice you.
- 1:03:14>> Speaker E: I mean, you should have stole that guard's clothes. But, I mean, it's
- 1:03:17too little, too late for that.
- 1:03:18>> Speaker G: I mean, I could still ask him. I
- 1:03:21mean, if anyone were to ask him to take his clothes off and at work, it would be
- 1:03:24you. What if.
- 1:03:26>> Speaker A: Roll with me.
- 1:03:27>> Speaker G: Roll with me here. Roll with me here.
- 1:03:30You go in there like, hey, now that I see without
- 1:03:33your mask, you're super cute. Let's.
- 1:03:35>> Speaker E: Bro, I don't even need to use words. That's all about body
- 1:03:38language.
- 1:03:39>> Speaker G: Okay, I, go in there with your body language and get him to take his clothes
- 1:03:42off.
- 1:03:44>> Speaker C: Or you might just be able to get past this. Or we might be able
- 1:03:47to get past me.
- 1:03:51>> Speaker E: Where's the fun of that?
- 1:03:53>> Speaker G: Yeah, where's the fun of that? Go seduce a guy and then get him
- 1:03:56to take his clothes off and then just leave him.
- 1:03:57>> Speaker E: I've not had much luck with that in the past, but, let's try.
- 1:04:00>> Speaker C: All right, you go back up there.
- 1:04:02>> Speaker G: Go up there and roll your seven.
- 1:04:03>> Speaker A: With your magical dice.
- 1:04:04>> Speaker C: I was going to say all your d and d character.
- 1:04:07>> Speaker F: You tried to seduce.
- 1:04:08>> Speaker A: People.
- 1:04:11>> Speaker C: Kept rolling nat ones on. Seduce. It was bad.
- 1:04:14All right, so you walk back upstairs and he sees you and he's
- 1:04:17like, hey, how long has it been?
- 1:04:20I said I'd see you later.
- 1:04:21>> Speaker A: I didn't.
- 1:04:22>> Speaker C: Man, have I been here a while? I must have passed.
- 1:04:25>> Speaker E: You really haven't. But I got rid of my brother.
- 1:04:28>> Speaker A: Uh-huh.
- 1:04:28>> Speaker E: Figured me and you could.
- 1:04:30>> Speaker C: Is he in?
- 1:04:30>> Speaker E: Like, I just sit around the bed and I sit
- 1:04:33next, and I brush his shoulder with my
- 1:04:36fingertips.
- 1:04:37>> Speaker C: It feels nice.
- 1:04:38>> Speaker E: Yeah. I start unbuttoning
- 1:04:41his jacket.
- 1:04:44>> Speaker C: We're moving fast, but hey, it's
- 1:04:47a fast world we live in. Yeah,
- 1:04:50man. All
- 1:04:53right, I'm going to let you do that because
- 1:04:56I'm still a little tired. Don't worry, though. I'm
- 1:04:59gearing up in my head. I'm getting
- 1:05:01ready, I'm energizing.
- 1:05:04I'm getting the juices flowing.
- 1:05:07>> Speaker E: Save that energy for the good
- 1:05:09time we'll have.
- 1:05:11>> Speaker A: Ah, yeah.
- 1:05:19>> Speaker E: I said I got rid of you.
- 1:05:21>> Speaker G: Time passes, okay?
- 1:05:23>> Speaker E: Yeah.
- 1:05:24>> Speaker C: Okay. You get his jacket. His fire
- 1:05:26nation, jacket.
- 1:05:28>> Speaker E: Do I really need everything else?
- 1:05:32How much of a uniform is the uniform?
- 1:05:36>> Speaker C: the pants are just like black pants. I
- 1:05:39mean, they're not anything super special, but I don't think Brock
- 1:05:42would be wearing black pants. I think Brock would be wearing shorts.
- 1:05:45>> Speaker E: Isn't he? Okay, fine. I'll lay him
- 1:05:47down.
- 1:05:50>> Speaker C: You just lay him out on the cot. Yeah, he's like,
- 1:05:53well, you know what? Yeah, I'm almost
- 1:05:55there. I'll be ready when you're
- 1:05:58ready.
- 1:05:59>> Speaker E: Start unbuttoning his pants.
- 1:06:02>> Speaker C: Right on.
- 1:06:05Okay, you take his family. This is weird for
- 1:06:08everybody, listeners who are probably
- 1:06:11just losing it right now, which you're welcome.
- 1:06:14No, you get his fire nation. Okay,
- 1:06:17the one thing I'm really intrigued about is the ending to
- 1:06:20this situation. So you've got his pants, you've
- 1:06:22got his exterior jacket,
- 1:06:25shirt thing, probably his shoes, just because.
- 1:06:27>> Speaker E: How's he going to get his pants?
- 1:06:29>> Speaker C: You had to get the shoes off already anyway. Yeah, that's
- 1:06:32also true. That would look weird.
- 1:06:36>> Speaker C: All right.
- 1:06:42>> Speaker E: Okay, you have to turn
- 1:06:45around, and then when you come
- 1:06:47back.
- 1:06:53>> Speaker A: But if.
- 1:06:54>> Speaker C: You'Re saying that you just, like, you're a little shy,
- 1:06:57your side of things, I get it. All right? I'll close my
- 1:07:00eyes. I'll put my hands on my eyes. You just tell me when, okay?
- 1:07:03>> Speaker E: Okay, I will.
- 1:07:04>> Speaker C: All right, I'm going to tiptoe out.
- 1:07:06>> Speaker A: Ten, nine.
- 1:07:11>> Speaker E: Do I have to roll for something? No, to tiptoe
- 1:07:14out.
- 1:07:15>> Speaker F: He's already.
- 1:07:18>> Speaker C: He's high. All right, so you
- 1:07:21get out, you come to the stairwell, and you give
- 1:07:24Brock the clothes. Brock, you've got your
- 1:07:26outfit on. Sick, complete with gas mask.
- 1:07:29>> Speaker G: all right, so now can I just act as if
- 1:07:32I'm escorting Mika out of the.
- 1:07:35>> Speaker E: I have a mask. Yeah, but, yeah, he can.
- 1:07:38I have to get out. I'm visiting
- 1:07:41John.
- 1:07:43>> Speaker A: Oh, hey. Bye.
- 1:07:46What are you doing? Oh, you escorting the
- 1:07:49guest? Yeah, her
- 1:07:52ten minutes is off, so I'm taking her outside. Oh, it sounds
- 1:07:55good. you mean go upstairs
- 1:07:57and keep it on the third floor?
- 1:08:00No, it's all. Ah, fine. I already did a sweep
- 1:08:03of that area. It's good. Yeah. I mean, what are they going to do, right?
- 1:08:06It's not like they'll get the other
- 1:08:09guards high and then take his clothes.
- 1:08:12And then take his clothes. Could you imagine?
- 1:08:15Are these a bunch of perverts? Some of them are,
- 1:08:18actually. I get your
- 1:08:21mean. Anyways, I'll see you, on the
- 1:08:23pickleball court tonight.
- 1:08:26Are you swapping out one of the guys up front?
- 1:08:29Yeah, I'm getting some pickleball in later
- 1:08:32tonight. I'll see you there. Oh, right on. Okay. See you.
- 1:08:35>> Speaker C: just, you walk, on past.
- 1:08:37>> Speaker F: What's his name?
- 1:08:38>> Speaker C: Didn't ask.
- 1:08:39>> Speaker A: Didn't ask.
- 1:08:40>> Speaker C: I want to know.
- 1:08:42>> Speaker G: I can't do that.
- 1:08:43>> Speaker C: Bill can break in later. No, I'm just kidding.
- 1:08:46You go downstairs. There's someone I want to meet. And
- 1:08:49then you get to the front door. there's like a little
- 1:08:51office. And there's, like, one
- 1:08:54guy in there that just kind of oversees things or whatever, but he's just going
- 1:08:57through some paperwork and stuff. He doesn't even really. He kind of, like, sees you out of
- 1:09:00the corner of his eye. He, like, waves and then goes back to his
- 1:09:02clipboard. Clipboards, are really getting around the concept
- 1:09:05of clipboards. And then you open up the
- 1:09:08door, and as you open up the
- 1:09:101414
- 1:09:14rocks.
- 1:09:14>> Speaker A: Can you believe it, man?
- 1:09:17>> Speaker C: And you see one of the guards, like, hand a little pouch of
- 1:09:20coins. This is like, right as you're opening the door, is handing
- 1:09:23a pouch of coins to the other guy, and he's.
- 1:09:25>> Speaker A: Like, man, my wife's going to be so mad that I just
- 1:09:27lost 100 yuan. But,
- 1:09:30oh, my gosh, if that isn't a good. Oh, hey, bye.
- 1:09:33Is that you, buy? Yeah. What's up?
- 1:09:36You've been working out? Yeah.
- 1:09:40this mask kind of gives me powers like that. You
- 1:09:43know how it is. You know how it is. No, I have no
- 1:09:46idea.
- 1:09:49Dude, if you've been breathing the smoke, it
- 1:09:52sounds like you've been breathing your mask, giving you
- 1:09:55power. Just let you breathe, man. I mean, like, you
- 1:09:57merely adopted the smoke. I was
- 1:10:00bald, dude.
- 1:10:02>> Speaker C: You raised by it.
- 1:10:03>> Speaker A: You are weird. But, hey, I appreciate you getting the
- 1:10:06guest. Did you let him know? Did everything go
- 1:10:08okay?
- 1:10:09>> Speaker E: Yeah. I don't know if I'll be seeing him again.
- 1:10:12>> Speaker A: Oh, my gosh.
- 1:10:15>> Speaker C: you're outside.
- 1:10:18You don't.
- 1:10:18>> Speaker A: Obviously, I got a thing. Well, hey,
- 1:10:21if you're, ever looking for, somebody else, maybe we
- 1:10:24could get tea sometime or something.
- 1:10:27>> Speaker E: That might be a great idea.
- 1:10:29>> Speaker A: Sure. hot leaf juice. Seven.
- 1:10:32That's when I get off.
- 1:10:34>> Speaker E: Yeah.
- 1:10:35>> Speaker A: All right. He's like, hey, well, wait, hold on.
- 1:10:38>> Speaker C: It can't be the same. It better not be the same guy that just
- 1:10:41lost money.
- 1:10:41>> Speaker A: He's like, hey, man, I won twice today. I got 100.
- 1:10:44You won? And I got a date,
- 1:10:47man.
- 1:10:47>> Speaker C: It's your day today.
- 1:10:50>> Speaker E: You're also getting a child.
- 1:10:52>> Speaker A: Oh, yeah. I didn't think about that.
- 1:10:56You know what? Being a stepdad, that's not
- 1:10:59the worst thing in the world.
- 1:11:00>> Speaker E: You got 100 yuan?
- 1:11:02>> Speaker C: Yeah, I got 100 yuan to take care of.
- 1:11:04>> Speaker A: M. that's plenty in this economy.
- 1:11:07>> Speaker C: I got to go get ready for my date. Aren't you going
- 1:11:10to tip the guy? And I'm holding up the squid
- 1:11:13to him.
- 1:11:15>> Speaker A: I suppose it is fair.
- 1:11:17>> Speaker C: He looks at the other guy, and he's like, come on, man. You just got
- 1:11:20100 yuan off me.
- 1:11:21>> Speaker A: Are you kidding me? You tip him and he's like, yeah, fair point.
- 1:11:24>> Speaker C: So he takes out like five. You on?
- 1:11:25>> Speaker A: He gives you.
- 1:11:26>> Speaker F: Both of you, man.
- 1:11:29>> Speaker C: Gives you ten. You on.
- 1:11:30>> Speaker A: Thank you.
- 1:11:31>> Speaker F: And I hold out to the third.
- 1:11:33>> Speaker C: Guard, who's standing there, and
- 1:11:36you.
- 1:11:37>> Speaker E: He didn't see nothing,
- 1:11:40right?
- 1:11:40>> Speaker A: Now the best part.
- 1:11:44Sure.
- 1:11:45>> Speaker F: Pointing at the.
- 1:11:46>> Speaker A: Here you go. Juggling,
- 1:11:48man.
- 1:11:49>> Speaker G: I give you one, I guess, from
- 1:11:52the stash.
- 1:11:53>> Speaker C: That's supposed to be the group stash.
- 1:11:55>> Speaker F: Are these rocks?
- 1:11:58>> Speaker A: Are these spit pebbles?
- 1:12:01I know who this is.
- 1:12:07>> Speaker F: Well, thanks, guard.
- 1:12:08>> Speaker A: All right, you guys have a great day. ma'am, I'm
- 1:12:11sorry about the situation. and then size,
- 1:12:14like. Well, hey, I'm not sorry. I'll see you at
- 1:12:17seven. Well, it's
- 1:12:19clocking out time for me. I'll see you guys later. Whoa. It's clocking out
- 1:12:22time for you already? You got PTO today or something?
- 1:12:25I didn't see it on the chart. I got a half day today. I got
- 1:12:28to go to the dentist. With these
- 1:12:31masks on, you can't really tell, but I got some
- 1:12:34british type teeth. You know what I'm talking about? No,
- 1:12:37I don't think you do. Dude. You are.
- 1:12:40Dude. Did they do, like, pre novicane
- 1:12:43on you or laughing?
- 1:12:45>> Speaker E: Let's get out of here.
- 1:12:47>> Speaker A: Okay.
- 1:12:48>> Speaker C: All right, so you guys, I'm assuming
- 1:12:51don't head back into town. You head away from
- 1:12:53town, Brock. You probably
- 1:12:56have to head into town and then get your outfit
- 1:12:59off. And then head away from town. Yeah, probably to meet
- 1:13:02up with them. But whatever the case, you guys meet at
- 1:13:05the edge of the tributary.
- 1:13:07>> Speaker E: But did they know he was Brock? No,
- 1:13:10they didn't know he was.
- 1:13:14I'm just. I have to catch him.
- 1:13:18>> Speaker C: Well, the guard goes in a slightly different. Or he goes back into. That's
- 1:13:21why I said he goes back into town. You guys go away from
- 1:13:24town. Kind of around. And then that way it doesn't
- 1:13:27look weird that a guard just walks off with you guys,
- 1:13:29I'm assuming.
- 1:13:30>> Speaker F: Yeah, that makes sense.
- 1:13:31>> Speaker C: anyway, whatever the case, Brock doubles back after he gets
- 1:13:34rid of, ditches the outfit, and then meets with you guys at the
- 1:13:37start of the tributary. You guys spend the rest of the
- 1:13:39day following the tributary.
- 1:13:42Wait, we walk?
- 1:13:44>> Speaker D: Nice.
- 1:13:45>> Speaker C: It's the original plan.
- 1:13:48You guys spend the rest of the day walking
- 1:13:51along the tributary. I forgot about that
- 1:13:54whole debate. Because of this old Brock. I
- 1:13:57think that was the idea, was Brock was going to go on a date and let
- 1:14:00you guys figure out how to just make your way
- 1:14:03through, I think is pretty much. And then at
- 1:14:05the end of it, you just walk. We just walked.
- 1:14:08>> Speaker F: Look at, that.
- 1:14:08>> Speaker C: And so you arrive at the end.
- 1:14:10>> Speaker F: Of the day, Brock still wearing the guard?
- 1:14:12>> Speaker C: No, no, he got rid of it.
- 1:14:13>> Speaker G: I can be keeping it. I can keep it.
- 1:14:16>> Speaker C: You can pack it up if you want to.
- 1:14:18>> Speaker A: Sure.
- 1:14:18>> Speaker C: Might as well, just in case.
- 1:14:20>> Speaker E: All right, fair enough.
- 1:14:21>> Speaker C: Anyway, you guys make it to the end of the tributary,
- 1:14:24and before you stands a
- 1:14:27mountain. Kind of a small mountain, but
- 1:14:30amidst, the mountain is what looks like an
- 1:14:33abandoned Air nation
- 1:14:35temple. And, that is where we'll
- 1:14:38end on episode two.
