- 0:00Speaker 1: Here's more marksimone on sevent ten.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Woy oh, it's another hots well during sticky day. This
- 0:11Speaker 2: is again they're going to move into Florida. Go outside today.
- 0:15Speaker 2: If you don't like this weather, you can't live in Florida.
- 0:17Speaker 2: It's six months a year of this weather. SpaceX the IPO,
- 0:22Speaker 2: I'd said before one sixty nine look like it would
- 0:26Speaker 2: be the price it might open at. Now it's set
- 0:29Speaker 2: to open at one sixty five. At one point they
- 0:32Speaker 2: thought one's seventy five. So it's not going too crazy
- 0:35Speaker 2: right now, but we'll keep an eye on it for you.
- 0:37Speaker 2: And speaking of crazy, what the hell is this all about?
- 0:39Speaker 2: Look at this on Tuesday on the View? Who is
- 0:46Speaker 2: the guest Vice president? Jd Vance is now booked to
- 0:51Speaker 2: be on the View on Tuesday. Huh, Well, I don't
- 0:58Speaker 2: know what that's all about. I know they were the
- 1:02Speaker 2: higher ups of Disney ABC. They were kind of told,
- 1:05Speaker 2: see if you could get the show more legitimate. It's
- 1:08Speaker 2: just a crazy, fake news, left wing show. It's you know,
- 1:12Speaker 2: it's not like Morning Joe. There's Morning Joe's like the
- 1:15Speaker 2: High IQ Show. The View is like the Low IQ Show.
- 1:19Speaker 2: And on both sides of the aisle. You have that stuff.
- 1:21Speaker 2: You got your high IQ shows, you got your low
- 1:23Speaker 2: IQ shows, but the View low IQ. But apparently i've
- 1:28Speaker 2: heard that Disney wants them to see if they could
- 1:30Speaker 2: get a little more towards the middle, a little balance.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Maybe they even at one point went to the FCC
- 1:38Speaker 2: and tried to get The View officially ruled as a
- 1:42Speaker 2: news show, even though there's nobody on the show that
- 1:46Speaker 2: would know anything about the news. But Vice President Vance,
- 1:49Speaker 2: I guess, is the beginning of this effort to get
- 1:52Speaker 2: a little more balance in there. You remember the old View,
- 1:54Speaker 2: if you went back to the Barbara Walters days, Yeah,
- 1:57Speaker 2: they were left wing cooks. But he's had one real
- 2:00Speaker 2: actual Republican on the panel, and they would always have
- 2:03Speaker 2: conservative guests. They would have Ann Coulter, they would have
- 2:06Speaker 2: Bill O'Reilly, they would but they stopped doing all that.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Now Vice President Vance is on Tuesday. He's got a
- 2:12Speaker 2: book coming out called Communion, Finding My Way Back to Faith,
- 2:18Speaker 2: So I guess he's there to plug the book. Although
- 2:22Speaker 2: if you're a regular watcher of the View every day,
- 2:24Speaker 2: I don't think you're rushing out to buy a JD.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Vance book. But good for him and he's good at that.
- 2:29Speaker 2: He's good at calmly, very gentlemanly taking on a bunch
- 2:35Speaker 2: of screaming idiots, So he'll be good at that. Mayor,
- 2:39Speaker 2: Mom Donnie, you know he was at the next game
- 2:41Speaker 2: Monday night. You know, President Trump came to the next game,
- 2:45Speaker 2: and then a lot of course fake news media, democrats.
- 2:50Speaker 2: He jinks the team they won thirteen in row. As
- 2:52Speaker 2: soon as he shows up, they lose. Well, remember Mom,
- 2:56Speaker 2: Donnie was at the game Monday night. He might have
- 2:58Speaker 2: been the jinks. All of a sudden, Mom Donnie's at
- 3:01Speaker 2: the game. And remember Trump as a long lifetime Knicks fan.
- 3:06Speaker 2: He's a huge, huge Knicks fan. The commissioner, the NBA
- 3:11Speaker 2: commissioner even put out a statement, Adam Silver, NBA Commissioner.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Here's his actual statement. Donald Trump was a fixture at
- 3:21Speaker 2: Madison Square Garden. He had courtside seats, he had season tickets.
- 3:25Speaker 2: He was here all the time, he was at drafts.
- 3:29Speaker 2: He's a genuine Knicks fan. Always has been so official
- 3:33Speaker 2: statement from the NBA. But Mom, Donnie, I don't think
- 3:36Speaker 2: you've ever heard of the Knicks before. Was at the game.
- 3:39Speaker 2: And apparently President Trump was invited by owner James Dolan
- 3:44Speaker 2: to sit in his suite with him. Apparently Mom Donnie
- 3:48Speaker 2: just decided he wanted to go, and his team contacted
- 3:52Speaker 2: Madison Square Garden told him they wanted half a dozen tickets,
- 3:56Speaker 2: so he brought five people with him. Now his secure
- 4:00Speaker 2: details with him. But they don't sit, they're all standing.
- 4:03Speaker 2: So he brought five people with him. He asked that
- 4:06Speaker 2: the seats be the cheapest seats and the worst possibles,
- 4:11Speaker 2: whichs perfect for him. He should be in the cheapest
- 4:13Speaker 2: seats and he should be in the worst section. He
- 4:16Speaker 2: wanted to pay for them. The tickets are roughly one
- 4:19Speaker 2: thousand dollars a ticket, although really they're like seventy five
- 4:23Speaker 2: hundred on that you know, we resell them. But he
- 4:27Speaker 2: only wanted to pay seven hundred and fifty for them.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Seven undred and fifty dollars for one thousand dollars tickets.
- 4:32Speaker 2: But they did what he wanted. They gave him the tickets.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Now Massive Square Garden often sets aside a pool of
- 4:40Speaker 2: tickets for VIPs, and that would include elected officials. When
- 4:44Speaker 2: you see Larry David or Jerry Seinfeld or all those
- 4:48Speaker 2: people courts, they did tickets and seats they're always set
- 4:51Speaker 2: aside for them, and the mayor could have just easily
- 4:55Speaker 2: done that, but he wanted to buy tickets in the
- 4:57Speaker 2: worst possible section, which makes sense. If I were him,
- 5:00Speaker 2: I'd want to be in the back row. If you're
- 5:01Speaker 2: in the front row, if people can see you, they're
- 5:04Speaker 2: going to boo you. But if you're in the back row,
- 5:06Speaker 2: nobody can see it. Who's going to turn around and
- 5:08Speaker 2: look at the back row? So smart thinking on his part.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Hey remember Taylor Swift at the game court side with
- 5:18Speaker 2: a few friends of hers. These two women, these two
- 5:20Speaker 2: sisters also Marissa Hargatay with her, and they were all
- 5:24Speaker 2: wearing these shirts, these blue shirts with orange letters the
- 5:27Speaker 2: Knicks colors. But the shirt said Stevie Nicks. Now, I
- 5:32Speaker 2: don't know what that's all about. Is that does she
- 5:35Speaker 2: love Stevie Nicks that much? Is it a new shirt
- 5:38Speaker 2: coming out she's going to try to sell. I don't
- 5:39Speaker 2: know what it is. But the two sisters custom make shirts,
- 5:44Speaker 2: t shirts, they silk screen them, So apparently it was
- 5:47Speaker 2: Taylor Swift's idea. The sister, Elena Haims, says, I got
- 5:53Speaker 2: a text from Taylor that said, can you make this shirt?
- 5:58Speaker 2: Stevie Nicks. She thought it was fun. She thought it
- 6:01Speaker 2: would be really cute. She said, I thought it would
- 6:03Speaker 2: make people laugh. So I made up a few shirts.
- 6:06Speaker 2: We all wore them to the game we got there.
- 6:08Speaker 2: We gave one to Meriska Hargatea, who put one on
- 6:12Speaker 2: and that's why they we're wearing them. Apparently they're not
- 6:14Speaker 2: selling them. They just made them for that game. She
- 6:19Speaker 2: thought it would be really funny, it's cute. It's I
- 6:25Speaker 2: don't think any belly laughs with that shirt. But hey,
- 6:29Speaker 2: President Trump has really done a lot to clean up Washington.
- 6:33Speaker 2: He's got federal law enforcement all over the place trying
- 6:36Speaker 2: to clean it up, and they've done a great job.
- 6:39Speaker 2: They brought crime down dramatically. Washington's one of the most dangerous
- 6:43Speaker 2: places in America. I mean, nobody would walk around there
- 6:46Speaker 2: at night, and now people feel safe, they're walking around,
- 6:48Speaker 2: the restaurants are doing much better. The story's business is booming.
- 6:52Speaker 2: If really really cleaned it up. However, here's the problem. Now.
- 6:56Speaker 2: The mayor of Washington, DC, who's a crazy Democrat but
- 6:59Speaker 2: smart enough and common sense enough and realistic enough to
- 7:03Speaker 2: let Trump do all this, and she stayed out of
- 7:05Speaker 2: the way. But they now got a Democratic primary and
- 7:09Speaker 2: one of the two leading candidates is Janice Lewis George,
- 7:12Speaker 2: who everybody says is one of these Mamdanni crazy socialists.
- 7:18Speaker 2: President Trump has said if this guy wins the primary,
- 7:20Speaker 2: if this guy wins and becomes mayor, President Trump threatening
- 7:24Speaker 2: to take over Washington d C. Which he may be
- 7:28Speaker 2: able to do. You know, it's actually part of the
- 7:30Speaker 2: federal government. Washington d C. Is part of the federal government.
- 7:35Speaker 2: It's the District of Columbia controlled by the federal government.
- 7:37Speaker 2: So he could actually take full control of it if
- 7:40Speaker 2: he gets this Mamdanni type character in there. He will. Now,
- 7:43Speaker 2: of course that'll cause massive controversy, millions of lawsuits. Every
- 7:49Speaker 2: district judge will be ruling against him. It's going to
- 7:52Speaker 2: go crazy. Here's the other thing that they're going to
- 7:54Speaker 2: go crazy about. President Trump is working with members of Congress,
- 7:59Speaker 2: members the House who are going to vote to expunge
- 8:06Speaker 2: his impeachment just erase it. Now, we don't know if
- 8:10Speaker 2: that's even legal, if it's legally binding, We don't know.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Nob he's ever done this before, but they've come up
- 8:16Speaker 2: with a plan. They've consulted with lawyers, the House will
- 8:18Speaker 2: vote to expunge the impeachment, which is kind of like
- 8:23Speaker 2: just erasing it again, expunging it. There's no actual legal
- 8:28Speaker 2: formal anything for that, but if the House passes it,
- 8:31Speaker 2: it's pretty much expunged. It doesn't matter about the Senate
- 8:34Speaker 2: because the impeachment never got to the Senate. It was
- 8:38Speaker 2: simply a House impeachment. So once that happens, Democrats, the media,
- 8:45Speaker 2: the Morning Joe's, they'll all go crazy, absolutely insane over this.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Chuck Schumer, they'll go nuts as glasses will be fogging
- 8:54Speaker 2: up again. And I don't know what they're gonna do
- 8:56Speaker 2: about it, but so far it's not going to Nothing
- 9:00Speaker 2: is going to actually take place until after the midterms.
- 9:03Speaker 2: But they're talking about it, planning it out, plotting it
- 9:06Speaker 2: out behind the scenes, and then after the midterms, even
- 9:10Speaker 2: if the Republicans lose, they can do it. Democrats have
- 9:14Speaker 2: pledged if they take over, if they take the House,
- 9:18Speaker 2: that they will absolutely impeach President Trump day one, day one,
- 9:23Speaker 2: So just keep an eye on it's about to happen. Hey,
- 9:29Speaker 2: look SpaceX now it was one sixty five, expected to
- 9:32Speaker 2: open around one sixty two. It's dropping a little, all right.
- 9:36Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 9:37Speaker 2: I wouldn't rush to get in there. If I were,
- 9:38Speaker 2: there will be plenty of time to buy that stock.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Oh yeah, we were talking about Brad Lander before. This
- 9:43Speaker 2: crazy left wing Brad Lander. He's like a junior Chuck Schumer.
- 9:47Speaker 2: He would like to be the next Chuck Schumer, which
- 9:50Speaker 2: means do nothing, figure out how to get on television
- 9:53Speaker 2: every day publicity stunts. So one of his big stunts
- 9:57Speaker 2: he went down to the courtroom, a courtroom where they
- 10:01Speaker 2: do the ice proceedings, the immigration proceedings, deportation, that sort
- 10:07Speaker 2: of stuff. So he tried to block the elevator so
- 10:10Speaker 2: nobody could get on. He was trying to obstruct the
- 10:11Speaker 2: whole thing. He was arrested. He went to trial this week.
- 10:17Speaker 2: He was found not guilty. No surprise, left wing jurors,
- 10:21Speaker 2: left wing judge, left wing courtroom. He was found not guilty.
- 10:25Speaker 2: He of course, was thrilled about it.
- 10:26Speaker 3: I did not expect to be emotional. This was not
- 10:29Speaker 3: I did not feel in a lot of jeopardy. Had
- 10:31Speaker 3: they found me guilty, I suspect I would have gotten,
- 10:33Speaker 3: you know, community service. And yet when you're sitting there,
- 10:37Speaker 3: it really is moving to feel like it matters.
- 10:41Speaker 1: What happens.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Oh okay, well all right, if that's what you did.
- 10:46Speaker 2: You know he talks like that. Can you imagine him
- 10:48Speaker 2: as humor? So he's not guilty, although he was. I
- 10:54Speaker 2: guess he was by Democratic definition committing insurrection the January
- 10:58Speaker 2: sixth people trespassing incident. But remember the Democrats kept calling
- 11:05Speaker 2: it insurrection even though nobody was charged with insurrection. But
- 11:11Speaker 2: I guess by their definition, if you try to block
- 11:13Speaker 2: the government procedure, that's an insurrection. So Brad Lander not
- 11:18Speaker 2: guilty as an insurrectionist. Hey, we're talking about DC. The
- 11:23Speaker 2: president will take over at Washington, d C. If they
- 11:26Speaker 2: get this kookie, mom, Donnie Mayor. But you know, we
- 11:29Speaker 2: got our Homeland Security chief, Mark Wayne Mullen, and he
- 11:33Speaker 2: has said, if Mom, Donnie, it's going to go crazy
- 11:37Speaker 2: letting crime happen, then he might want to do something.
- 11:39Speaker 4: We have mayors like Mandamie in New York who want
- 11:42Speaker 4: to say you're not welcome. As a mayor, he knows
- 11:45Speaker 4: what's happening is on the streets, he knows who he's harboring,
- 11:49Speaker 4: and at this point in a baby by saying that
- 11:53Speaker 4: we can't go operate, we're going to Yeah.
- 11:55Speaker 2: You might see a lot of ice all over the
- 11:57Speaker 2: streets pretty soon. Hey, what's the deal with Phil Mickelson.
- 12:02Speaker 2: There's always controversy around Phil Micholson, whether it's gambling and drinking,
- 12:06Speaker 2: whatever it is. So Phil Micholson lives near San Diego,
- 12:10Speaker 2: and there's a beautiful country club. He plays at, the
- 12:13Speaker 2: Farms Golf Club, Rancho, Santa Fe. Beautiful area, and apparently
- 12:18Speaker 2: that's where he goes, that's where he practices, that's where
- 12:20Speaker 2: he warms up before a tournament. However, at this club
- 12:25Speaker 2: the other day, apparently it says he made non consensual
- 12:30Speaker 2: and inappropriate physical contact with a female employee. Huh. The
- 12:39Speaker 2: woman rejected his advances, reported the matter to her supervisors.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Club officials took the allegation seriously, investigated for themselves, and
- 12:49Speaker 2: moved quickly. Nicholson had gone out to play. In fact,
- 12:53Speaker 2: he was in the middle of a round and officials
- 12:57Speaker 2: from the club went up to him on the course
- 12:59Speaker 2: and told him to vacate the premises.
- 13:03Speaker 1: WHOA.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Now, I would imagine every country club has surveillance video.
- 13:10Speaker 2: You know, you got the cameras everywhere, most businesses have them. Now,
- 13:13Speaker 2: So whatever the woman told them, I imagine the first
- 13:15Speaker 2: thing he did is go look at the security tapes
- 13:18Speaker 2: and they saw that stuff that backed up what she
- 13:21Speaker 2: was saying. So Michelson, now his attorney didn't deny it.
- 13:28Speaker 2: He put out some long statement about there's plenty of
- 13:31Speaker 2: misinformation in the news and there's much misinformation on this story,
- 13:36Speaker 2: although he didn't come out and deny it. But apparently
- 13:39Speaker 2: he's been barred from the club forever. Now, Micholson, who
- 13:43Speaker 2: spent this whole life in golf, should know one thing
- 13:46Speaker 2: about these country clubs. They are really serious about the
- 13:49Speaker 2: rules of this kind of stuff. You know, in any
- 13:51Speaker 2: top country club, you're not allowed to wear jeans, You're
- 13:53Speaker 2: not allowed to wear a T shirt. You're not They
- 13:55Speaker 2: got all these rules. Not allowed to talk on your phone,
- 13:58Speaker 2: and they take them real seriously. I mean, you'll get
- 14:01Speaker 2: suspended and you'll get you can be terminated for two
- 14:05Speaker 2: or three violations. But groping a female employee you can't
- 14:09Speaker 2: do that, obviously, But he should know that. So I
- 14:13Speaker 2: don't know, maybe there was a little I don't know
- 14:16Speaker 2: if he was drinking, but maybe well, who knows, Hey,
- 14:20Speaker 2: Tim Waltz could be in a lot of trouble. You know,
- 14:23Speaker 2: the Department of Justice and the Trump administration and Vice
- 14:28Speaker 2: President Vance leading this. They've been investigating all these fraud
- 14:32Speaker 2: claims in Minnesota and they're going after Tim Waltz, are
- 14:36Speaker 2: going after the Attorney General Keith Allison, two very dirty,
- 14:40Speaker 2: sleazy guys. They apparently now have uncovered thirty whistleblowers that
- 14:47Speaker 2: sounded the alarm on fraud and were silenced by the
- 14:50Speaker 2: Democrats running the state explicitly ordered to stop looking into
- 14:55Speaker 2: the fraud. And then after they try to be whistleblowers,
- 15:00Speaker 2: many of them got investigated by the state, tracking their phones,
- 15:05Speaker 2: photographing their cars, even collecting personal information on them. So
- 15:09Speaker 2: this would be Tim Waltz and Attorney General Keith Ellison.
- 15:13Speaker 2: Apparently Vice President Vance has already asked the Justice Department
- 15:18Speaker 2: to open an investigation into Tim Waltz, so he could
- 15:23Speaker 2: have a real problem. Keith Allison to another really bad guy. Hey,
- 15:26Speaker 2: we'll take some calls next. Eight hundred three to two
- 15:29Speaker 2: one zero seven ten is the number? Eight hundred three
- 15:33Speaker 2: to two one zero seven ten did Mark on demand
- 15:38Speaker 2: by setting up pread for his podcast on the iHeartRadio app.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Now back to Mark Simone on woor.
- 15:51Speaker 2: Hey, you know getting a lot of people. I'm getting
- 15:53Speaker 2: all these emails from people. Monica Crowley was on earlier.
- 15:56Speaker 2: She's talking about all the big events, you know, the
- 15:58Speaker 2: ships coming to New York Harbor, the fireworks, the biggest
- 16:01Speaker 2: fireworks display in the history, all the Washington events. So
- 16:05Speaker 2: people are asking where can you get all the information?
- 16:08Speaker 2: I should mention this is the website. If you want
- 16:11Speaker 2: to know about all these America two hundred and fiftieth
- 16:14Speaker 2: Birthday events, go to Freedom two fifty dot org. Freedom
- 16:20Speaker 2: two fifty dot org because you can get you can
- 16:24Speaker 2: go to these events. Many of them will get to
- 16:26Speaker 2: the fireworks in DC. As Monica Carlely explained, it'll be
- 16:30Speaker 2: biggest fireworks display in history. It will be almost one
- 16:32Speaker 2: million fireworks. I think it was like eight hundred and
- 16:36Speaker 2: sixty thousand, she said. So just go to Freedom two
- 16:40Speaker 2: fifty dot org get all the details. Let's go to
- 16:44Speaker 2: Linda and Long Island. Linda, how you doing?
- 16:48Speaker 5: Are you?
- 16:50Speaker 2: No?
- 16:50Speaker 1: No, no, no.
- 16:51Speaker 2: It's deep. It's a great. Oh. Thanks, it's a deep one.
- 16:54Speaker 2: How are you it's not high?
- 16:56Speaker 1: It's yeah.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Thanks. She spent a Barrett Media, the great Bible of
- 17:03Speaker 2: the radio industry. I got this great honor the gold
- 17:06Speaker 2: Standard Award. But go ahead, what were you going to say?
- 17:10Speaker 6: Okay, are you commented about the vice president dance going
- 17:14Speaker 6: on that Lowlife show. This is why I'm another reason
- 17:19Speaker 6: I'm for Rubio. I mean, he was so great, you know,
- 17:23Speaker 6: it's unbelievable he should be and talking about him Rubio
- 17:28Speaker 6: not dance for running for president?
- 17:31Speaker 2: Well they are. Everybody's talking about it. Yeah, yeah, all right,
- 17:34Speaker 2: Well there's gonna be a lot of people. There's a Rubio,
- 17:37Speaker 2: there's a vance, a possibility for twenty twenty eight. And
- 17:40Speaker 2: keep your eye on Scott Besson. He's pretty good. Well,
- 17:43Speaker 2: let's go to Charles in Miller Place. Charles, how you
- 17:46Speaker 2: doing good?
- 17:48Speaker 7: Good?
- 17:48Speaker 8: Mark? I just had a quick question.
- 17:50Speaker 5: If Tom Holman comes to New York and is not
- 17:53Speaker 5: allowed to go into the jails, then when he goes
- 17:56Speaker 5: to the individual neighborhoods, he's not only going to pick
- 17:59Speaker 5: up the people they're looking for, but family members as well.
- 18:02Speaker 8: I would imagine.
- 18:05Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I mean he wants to if you got
- 18:07Speaker 2: a criminal, illegal alien, has committed crimes and they're in jail,
- 18:09Speaker 2: they want to go there, two guys can pick them up,
- 18:12Speaker 2: put some handcuffs on them, and take them away. If
- 18:14Speaker 2: they got to go out into the world and do it,
- 18:16Speaker 2: you're going to eat twenty five guys. You're right, They're
- 18:18Speaker 2: gonna have to go to his house. It's going to
- 18:19Speaker 2: disrupt the whole thing. But that's crazy Kathy Hochel and
- 18:24Speaker 2: crazy mom Donnie. That's the way they want to do things.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Let's go to rich and Myrtle Beach. Rich how you doing.
- 18:30Speaker 9: I'm baking in the shade. We got our first real
- 18:33Speaker 9: day of Summer's going to feel like one hundred and
- 18:35Speaker 9: three almost every day now, and this is going to
- 18:37Speaker 9: be it for the rest of any ocean has already
- 18:39Speaker 9: eighty three degrees.
- 18:40Speaker 2: We got the New Yorkers a minute real feel today
- 18:44Speaker 2: one hundred and two. We're pretty close, that's right.
- 18:46Speaker 9: But the ocean up there is only going to be
- 18:48Speaker 9: sixty sixty two degrees. That's what was great about Long
- 18:51Speaker 9: Island was no matter how how it got, the ocean
- 18:53Speaker 9: even by July fourth, might be seventy two and never
- 18:56Speaker 9: really got above seventy five or seventy seven. But sometimes
- 18:59Speaker 9: in the summer down here, the swimming pools ninety and
- 19:01Speaker 9: the ocean's almost ninety degrees, So you just sit here
- 19:04Speaker 9: in your bake all day and this is not as
- 19:06Speaker 9: bad as Florida. But you know, all your New York
- 19:08Speaker 9: can stay up there, don't come down here, especially if
- 19:10Speaker 9: your liberals. But hey, my question for you is they're
- 19:14Speaker 9: all those crooks in Congress. Do they have access to
- 19:17Speaker 9: get into that SpaceX stock before the rest of us
- 19:19Speaker 9: or is it only for the employees and musk and
- 19:22Speaker 9: the family members.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Yeah, but they don't want to get you know, that
- 19:24Speaker 2: doesn't mean anything to them. That's SpaceX stock. In fact,
- 19:26Speaker 2: i'm looking it's going to drop a little. It's down
- 19:28Speaker 2: at one fifty five. It had been up near one
- 19:30Speaker 2: seventy five in now.
- 19:32Speaker 9: Just wonder if those crooks in common but they always
- 19:35Speaker 9: did inside of trading it.
- 19:36Speaker 2: They don't need to get into that. They got better stuff.
- 19:38Speaker 2: So if you're in Congress and you find out, now,
- 19:40Speaker 2: if you find out who's going to get a big
- 19:42Speaker 2: government contract to make weapons before anybody, you go buy
- 19:46Speaker 2: that stuck right dinner and need full around with the SpaceX.
- 19:49Speaker 2: They got a SpaceX every day that they can do.
- 19:52Speaker 2: But it's good question. Thanks for calling. Let's go to
- 19:55Speaker 2: Richard and Bayshore. Richard, how you doing I'm.
- 19:58Speaker 7: Doing well, Mark Platiner. I don't know if anybody's remembered
- 20:01Speaker 7: to point out that the SSS was responsible for the
- 20:05Speaker 7: murder of any four American prisoners of war during the
- 20:08Speaker 7: Battle of the Bulge at Melmany, Belgium in December of
- 20:12Speaker 7: nineteen forty four. So it's much as viol anti Semitism,
- 20:16Speaker 7: but it's murder of Americans as well. That that's symbolized.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Well, that tattoo that the Platiner has, it's not just
- 20:23Speaker 2: a Nazi tattoo. It's and it's not just an SS tattoo.
- 20:26Speaker 2: It's a certain division of the ss and it was
- 20:28Speaker 2: the division that ran the death camps. There's no dirtier
- 20:32Speaker 2: tattoo you could put on yourself. Let's go to Tony
- 20:35Speaker 2: and Staten Island. Tony, how you doing.
- 20:38Speaker 8: Good morning, sir. I have a question for you with
- 20:41Speaker 8: an article and the other day in the New York
- 20:44Speaker 8: Post that said New York State ranks number two in
- 20:48Speaker 8: the nation with front door thefts by delivery people. Now,
- 20:53Speaker 8: I've had deliveries by FedEx, Amazon, whoever, and they love
- 20:59Speaker 8: in the rain or they're there for hours. Would it
- 21:02Speaker 8: be you know two saying to ask that they ring
- 21:07Speaker 8: the doorbell and notify the neighbor. You know, I know.
- 21:10Speaker 2: But if they ring the bell, you're gonna come out.
- 21:13Speaker 2: You're gonna talk to guys here. Off, he's got a
- 21:14Speaker 2: million packages to deliver.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I know.
- 21:19Speaker 2: They haven't figured that out. It's a good question, Tony.
- 21:21Speaker 2: They haven't figured that out. It's not a problem. Like
- 21:24Speaker 2: in the middle of New York City. You bring in
- 21:26Speaker 2: the apartment building, there's a doorman, there's a front desk,
- 21:28Speaker 2: you'll leave you everything's fine, everything's fine. But suburbs, you're
- 21:33Speaker 2: leaving it in front of a door. You don't know
- 21:34Speaker 2: if they're going to come home in two hours or
- 21:36Speaker 2: two weeks. You just don't know. A lot of porch
- 21:39Speaker 2: pirates out there. Hey, when we come back, Roger Friedman,
- 21:42Speaker 2: the Great Entertainment Reporter, we'll talk to him next.
- 21:46Speaker 8: From the w o R Life Back Studios, Bill Mark Simon.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Show well, Roger Friedman, the Great Entertainment Reporter. You should
- 21:56Speaker 2: check his website, showbiz for one one dot com, showbiz
- 22:00Speaker 2: for one one dot com. This new stuff every day
- 22:03Speaker 2: up there. Roger Friedman, how you doing. I'm great, How
- 22:07Speaker 2: are you good? I've been hearing about this. Steven Spielberg
- 22:10Speaker 2: Film Day of Disclosure. This is like the film disclosure Day,
- 22:14Speaker 2: Disclosure Day, Disclosure Day, Disclosure.
- 22:17Speaker 1: I loved it.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Well, I heard a big blockbuster every it's going to
- 22:19Speaker 2: be the bigg But you said it didn't do so
- 22:22Speaker 2: well at the box office. It didn't.
- 22:24Speaker 1: It's having a soft opening so far, which I'm surprised by.
- 22:27Speaker 1: But the weather was terrible last night. Yeah, and this
- 22:31Speaker 1: weekend we've got the World Cup and everyone's going to
- 22:34Speaker 1: watch the NBA Tomorrow night. No one's going to go
- 22:36Speaker 1: to the movies. Everyone's gonna be watching The Knicks. But
- 22:39Speaker 1: you know, it's a great movie and everyone should get
- 22:43Speaker 1: up to see it tonight. I loved it. Emily Blunt
- 22:46Speaker 1: is terrific, and the story is really really good. And
- 22:50Speaker 1: if you loved ET and Close Encounters of the Third Kind,
- 22:54Speaker 1: this is sort of the unofficial third part of that
- 22:57Speaker 1: story where the whole, the whole revelation of what the
- 23:03Speaker 1: government has been keeping from us about UFOs for the
- 23:06Speaker 1: last seventy nine years is exposed finally, and it's great.
- 23:12Speaker 1: I thought it was great. It was very exciting.
- 23:14Speaker 2: Not Spielberg. I would imagine it's a big budget film,
- 23:17Speaker 2: but there wasn't a lot of publicity or marketing about this,
- 23:19Speaker 2: was there.
- 23:20Speaker 1: No, there wasn't. I don't know why either. Universal was
- 23:24Speaker 1: very strange about the way they marketed this movie. They
- 23:28Speaker 1: didn't do much in New York. They just had really
- 23:31Speaker 1: their big screenings in LA They held it here till
- 23:36Speaker 1: the last minute. Monday night. There was a premiere here
- 23:40Speaker 1: in New York, but it was on the small side. Yeah.
- 23:44Speaker 1: And I don't know why. I can't explain it, and
- 23:48Speaker 1: no one can explain it to me. But it doesn't
- 23:52Speaker 1: matter because the movie is terrific and it would be
- 23:55Speaker 1: terrible if people didn't get out and see it, because
- 23:59Speaker 1: I think once they do see it, they're gonna they'll
- 24:01Speaker 1: they'll want to go back and see it again. I'd
- 24:03Speaker 1: like to see it a second time. The Truth Wow, Yeah, yeah,
- 24:06Speaker 1: because the story is it's not complicated, but there's things
- 24:10Speaker 1: in it good that are going on that you'd like
- 24:11Speaker 1: to go back and see again.
- 24:13Speaker 2: Well, if you don't know, it's the new Spielberg movie.
- 24:15Speaker 2: It's called Disclosure Days. It's about we find out there
- 24:20Speaker 2: are aliens.
- 24:22Speaker 1: From find out the aliens have been have been here
- 24:25Speaker 1: for seventy nine years. Oh and and and I don't
- 24:31Speaker 1: want to give it away, but it's worth getting to
- 24:33Speaker 1: the end of this movie. It's very cool at the end.
- 24:36Speaker 2: Well, very very cool these aliens. What I can tell her.
- 24:39Speaker 2: By the ending, Tom Holman shows up and rounds them
- 24:42Speaker 2: all up, these aliens. Hey, how did the Tony Awards do?
- 24:50Speaker 1: The Tony Awards? You know, they did all right. They
- 24:52Speaker 1: did the same numbers as they did last year. But
- 24:55Speaker 1: people were a little disappointed because they thought they would
- 24:57Speaker 1: do better. They had no competition this year. Sure, they
- 25:00Speaker 1: had the NBA Finals against them. This year they had
- 25:04Speaker 1: nothing all night. And I don't know why the show.
- 25:07Speaker 1: I was at the show at Radio City and it
- 25:10Speaker 1: was a very good show. It's very well produced, but
- 25:14Speaker 1: maybe the order of it was a little weird. There's
- 25:16Speaker 1: a new producer involved, and the order of the show
- 25:19Speaker 1: is a little weird. They were giving out awards sort
- 25:21Speaker 1: of randomly. But I'll tell you. Pink was the host
- 25:26Speaker 1: and she was fabulous. She did the opening number, was
- 25:30Speaker 1: great and had like one hundred and seventy people on
- 25:34Speaker 1: stage at Radio City. And then she came back later
- 25:37Speaker 1: and did the anniversary of the musical Chicago, and it
- 25:42Speaker 1: was like everybody said she should go right into the
- 25:44Speaker 1: show on Broadway. She's perfect. So she was great, and
- 25:48Speaker 1: there were a lot of terrific people coming and going
- 25:50Speaker 1: on stage. Julia, Luis Dreyfus was there, and Bernadette Peters.
- 25:56Speaker 1: You know, there was a great tribute to the Book
- 25:58Speaker 1: of Mormon that was a lot of fun. So I
- 26:02Speaker 1: don't know the numbers were as good as they were
- 26:04Speaker 1: last year, so the same number of people watched. But
- 26:07Speaker 1: you know, right now we're in this great time on Broadway.
- 26:11Speaker 1: We have a lot of terrific shows. Ragtime won a
- 26:14Speaker 1: lot of awards the other night, and that is the show.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Everybody wants to see it link the Center. Yeah, it's
- 26:20Speaker 1: going to close in August, so we have to rush
- 26:22Speaker 1: in there and go see it. And there's just a
- 26:26Speaker 1: lot of good shows playing right now.
- 26:28Speaker 2: How's Broadway doing money wise? Is that everything's good?
- 26:31Speaker 1: But yeah, everything's good. Money wise, it's good. It's also
- 26:35Speaker 1: we're right in that period between the school holiday school
- 26:40Speaker 1: holiday season. The numbers were way up and they'll be
- 26:43Speaker 1: back up again as soon as school is out in June,
- 26:45Speaker 1: and all summer should be very very good.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Now, Roger Friedman, let me ask you about this Taylor
- 26:50Speaker 2: Swift all of a sudden, you know, yeah, you said
- 26:53Speaker 2: the football game gets a ton of attention. Suddenly she said,
- 26:55Speaker 2: a lot of football games getting a ton of attention.
- 26:58Speaker 2: Why was she all of a sudden at the nixt game?
- 27:00Speaker 2: He's ever seen her a Knicks game before?
- 27:02Speaker 1: Well, she I checked. I went back and looked. She
- 27:06Speaker 1: went to two Knicks games in twenty fourteen. Then she
- 27:09Speaker 1: went to it at the garden, So that's twelve years ago.
- 27:13Speaker 1: And then and who knows why she went then? And
- 27:15Speaker 1: then she went Last year, she went with her fiancee,
- 27:19Speaker 1: Travis Kelce to a Cavaliers game in Cleveland against the Knicks,
- 27:24Speaker 1: because he's a big Cavaliers fan. So why was she
- 27:27Speaker 1: sitting in the front row with her girlfriends two nights ago. Well,
- 27:32Speaker 1: the word is that she's getting married in Madison Square
- 27:35Speaker 1: Garden on July third. They're actually taking the garden is
- 27:38Speaker 1: closed for six days, which is very unusual, and they're
- 27:42Speaker 1: going to take over I don't know, five hundred seats
- 27:45Speaker 1: on the floor and put on their put on a wedding,
- 27:48Speaker 1: and they say this is the only secure place they
- 27:50Speaker 1: can do it. So I think she came to look
- 27:53Speaker 1: at her wedding venue the other night. That's basically I
- 27:56Speaker 1: don't know if she tried the food for I don't know.
- 27:59Speaker 1: It's all have hot dogs the catering. But if she
- 28:01Speaker 1: really has this wedding at the Garden, that's why she
- 28:04Speaker 1: was there, And that's the only thing that makes any sense,
- 28:07Speaker 1: because why is she up and dancing at a Knicks game.
- 28:10Speaker 1: On the other hand, she gave them good luck. You know,
- 28:13Speaker 1: maybe she'll go out to San Antonio tomorrow night and
- 28:16Speaker 1: continue to give them good luck. I don't know.
- 28:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I think she got her publicity. That's it for
- 28:20Speaker 2: the miss.
- 28:21Speaker 1: She got her publicity. She's had a big week. Actually,
- 28:24Speaker 1: on Monday she was at the Knicks. She also did
- 28:29Speaker 1: the Disney premiere in La for Toy Story five because
- 28:34Speaker 1: she has the song from the movie.
- 28:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Last and last night, she was at the Songwriters Hall
- 28:39Speaker 1: of Fame, where she gave a twenty minute acceptance speech
- 28:43Speaker 1: as the youngest female ever to be inducted in the
- 28:46Speaker 1: Songwriters Hall of Fame. And Steven Spielberg, who we were
- 28:50Speaker 1: just talking about, inducted her, which was very strange because
- 28:53Speaker 1: we didn't even think she knew him. But somehow they
- 28:56Speaker 1: got together and he came and gave her a beautiful induction.
- 29:00Speaker 1: So this has been Taylor Swift week all week and
- 29:04Speaker 1: the wedding will be next.
- 29:06Speaker 2: Hey, Roger Freeman, I saw this video something it did
- 29:08Speaker 2: of the you know, Stephen Colbert is gone, and apparently
- 29:11Speaker 2: they've cleaned out the Ed Sullivan Theater. So somebody did
- 29:14Speaker 2: a video of the whole theater. It's like almost back
- 29:16Speaker 2: to Ed Sullivan. They totally cleaned out. Is there any
- 29:19Speaker 2: word on what's going to happen with the Ed Sullivan Theater?
- 29:21Speaker 2: Will CBS keep it? Rumors?
- 29:23Speaker 1: I know, yeah, I don't know if CBS is going
- 29:26Speaker 1: to keep it. People have suggested that it become a
- 29:30Speaker 1: Broadway theater, but it's actually not big enough to be
- 29:33Speaker 1: a Broadway theater. A Broadway theater seats a thousand people,
- 29:36Speaker 1: and there's not There aren't a thousand seats in that theater.
- 29:39Speaker 1: There's no way to get them in. It wasn't made
- 29:41Speaker 1: for that. It was made for TV. It was made
- 29:43Speaker 1: for Ed Sullivant and it's only been a TV theater.
- 29:47Speaker 1: So it's unclear what they're going to do, but hopefully
- 29:51Speaker 1: they'll keep it. CBS will keep it, you know, CBS
- 29:54Speaker 1: isn't such flux right now with new owners and a
- 29:58Speaker 1: lot of contentiousness where it comes to the news side,
- 30:01Speaker 1: we're hearing about sixty minutes, losing a lot of correspondence.
- 30:06Speaker 1: There's a lot of bad stuff going on. So everything
- 30:09Speaker 1: is sort of up in the air there, and maybe
- 30:10Speaker 1: they haven't decided yet what they want to do with it.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Yeah, but you could turn it back into Broadway, you know.
- 30:16Speaker 2: I'm sure you've been in there. That stage comes way
- 30:18Speaker 2: out into the I think could cut it back to normal,
- 30:20Speaker 2: put another few hundred seats in.
- 30:22Speaker 1: They might be able to. I mean, the main thing
- 30:26Speaker 1: that everybody wants us for it to remain a theater.
- 30:29Speaker 1: So that's what we want. And we want to keep
- 30:31Speaker 1: on Sullivan's name on it because obviously it's been so important.
- 30:37Speaker 1: So we'll see what happens, but hopefully it'll stay the same.
- 30:41Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 30:41Speaker 2: Hey, it says Mick Jagger will be on the Today
- 30:44Speaker 2: Show tomorrow. What is Mick Jagger running around doing the
- 30:46Speaker 2: Today Show for? Oh Mick Jagger?
- 30:49Speaker 1: Okay, So we had the Paul McCartney album, which we've
- 30:51Speaker 1: discussed a lot, you and I and now the Rolling
- 30:54Speaker 1: Stones are coming with their album on July sixteenth, and
- 30:58Speaker 1: Mick is starting to do the publicity for it, and
- 31:01Speaker 1: I have listened to it. They actually sent me this
- 31:05Speaker 1: album pretty early, and I've spent the last couple of
- 31:08Speaker 1: days listening to it, and I got to tell you,
- 31:10Speaker 1: it's great. And there's a song on there called mister
- 31:13Speaker 1: Charm that's definitely going to be a hit. They've already
- 31:17Speaker 1: put out two really good singles, but this one's going
- 31:20Speaker 1: to be. This one's going to be the one. And
- 31:23Speaker 1: the album is called Foreign Tongues. It's coming in like
- 31:27Speaker 1: fifteen different varieties of vinyl colors and packaging and everything
- 31:31Speaker 1: and the CD and it's really a great summer album.
- 31:36Speaker 1: It really rocks. And the production is terrific. You know
- 31:39Speaker 1: this one guy, his name is Andrew Watt. He produced
- 31:43Speaker 1: the McCartney album. He produced this Rolling Stones album and
- 31:46Speaker 1: the one from a couple of years ago called Hackney Diamonds.
- 31:49Speaker 1: He's really got a knack for producing these legacy artists
- 31:54Speaker 1: and it's really worth getting them. The McCartney album's terrific.
- 31:58Speaker 1: I've kept it in my cargoing like crazy. And the
- 32:02Speaker 1: Stones album is totally it's a beach hit. But that
- 32:06Speaker 1: mister Charm is going to be a big one.
- 32:08Speaker 2: A beach hit the stones that have to be an older,
- 32:12Speaker 2: elderly Florida beach for them.
- 32:15Speaker 9: No, I don't know.
- 32:16Speaker 1: If I were on, you know, Jacob Briest Beach and
- 32:18Speaker 1: I had the radio on, I'd be listening to mister Charm.
- 32:21Speaker 1: That would be fun.
- 32:22Speaker 2: Yeah, but you got twenty five year olds going, who
- 32:25Speaker 2: the hell is that you're listening to?
- 32:26Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I know they want to hear Ariana Grande
- 32:30Speaker 1: and Taylor Swift. Yeah, this new guy, there is a
- 32:33Speaker 1: new guy, by the way, his name is Malcolm Todd.
- 32:37Speaker 9: Uh.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Everyone who's listening to us is probably too old for
- 32:41Speaker 1: Malcolm Todd. But he's young. He's twenty two and he
- 32:45Speaker 1: is the hot guy for this summer. Yeah, he's going
- 32:49Speaker 1: to be the pop stud, the big he'll be bigger
- 32:51Speaker 1: than Biber this summer.
- 32:53Speaker 2: Very good guy, Malcolm Todd. Remember the name Malcolm Todd. Everybody,

- 32:59Speaker 2: just some stories. Is all a lot more up there

- 33:04Speaker 1: this week. Oh yeah, Mike, Yeah, it was fabulous. The
- 33:07Speaker 1: place was packed. It was packed with celebrities. The opera
- 33:11Speaker 1: is fabulous, and it's called The Last Ship, and it's
- 33:14Speaker 1: at it's just there through Sunday. It's just eight more
