- 0:10Speaker 1: Welcome to Conspiracy The Show, the world's most trusted conspiracy
- 0:16Speaker 1: dairy podcast, with your hosts Adam Todd Brown and Olivia Hidary.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Hey, everybody, welcome to Conspiracy The Show. I'm Adam Todd Brown.
- 0:39Speaker 3: Hey, oh, and I'm Olivia Hidar.
- 0:41Speaker 2: Hi. Hello a god, Olivia. How's it going? That makes
- 0:44Speaker 2: us your host? I always forget to say that part.
- 0:47Speaker 2: We are your hosts of this part.
- 0:49Speaker 3: Are your hosts. It's going well right now. The West
- 0:53Speaker 3: Coast isn't on fire, so we've got that that's kind
- 0:57Speaker 3: of an unusual occurrence.
- 1:00Speaker 2: That's true. Yeah, it's just that, well, the East Coast
- 1:04Speaker 2: isn't on fire.
- 1:05Speaker 3: No, just reaping the benefits of being on fire.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Yeah, they're getting the kind of treatment you get if
- 1:12Speaker 2: you live too close to the mountains in burbank where
- 1:15Speaker 2: your shit's not on fire, but it's very dangerous to
- 1:19Speaker 2: go outside from an air quality standpoint, nasty shit. And
- 1:23Speaker 2: that makes for a great segue into what we're talking
- 1:26Speaker 2: about this week, which is that exact thing, the wildfires
- 1:30Speaker 2: that are plaguing Canada right now and causing all sorts
- 1:35Speaker 2: of air quality issues and just quality of life issues
- 1:41Speaker 2: all over the East coast, mostly like the northeast New York,
- 1:46Speaker 2: Massachusetts DC areas like that. Yep, pictures are crazy.
- 1:50Speaker 3: They're very crazy. It's an awful thing. It's terrible.
- 1:54Speaker 2: And I don't know exactly when this episode's going up,
- 1:58Speaker 2: but I feel like this is still going to be
- 2:00Speaker 2: going on by the time this episode goes up, probably
- 2:05Speaker 2: because it's not like there's just one fire. Right. As
- 2:08Speaker 2: of June ninth, there were four hundred and seventeen active
- 2:12Speaker 2: fires in Canada, spread all across the country both coasts.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Of those, two hundred and eighteen were labeled as out
- 2:21Speaker 2: of control, while just one hundred and eight were marked
- 2:24Speaker 2: as under control. It's like the Australia of North America.
- 2:28Speaker 3: It is. It feels like we're still missing a few
- 2:31Speaker 3: out of those numbers. What's in between out of control
- 2:34Speaker 3: and under control?
- 2:35Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good question. I wonder if there's anything,
- 2:39Speaker 2: because yeah, if we're talking four hundred and seventeen active, right,
- 2:42Speaker 2: two eighteen plus one oh eight doesn't even add.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Up, No, not close.
- 2:47Speaker 2: So yeah, there's got to be like a gray area
- 2:49Speaker 2: where the community's just fine with the fire.
- 2:51Speaker 3: Right, it's the normal, it's the goldilocks. Yes, of wildfires
- 2:56Speaker 3: or you know, it's just another thing the government's keeping
- 3:00Speaker 3: from us.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Man. Oh boy, are there some conspiracies around this shit?
- 3:06Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 3:06Speaker 2: And that surprisingly, that's what we're talking about, is the
- 3:10Speaker 2: myriad conspiracies around this There's so many. Yeah, with almost
- 3:15Speaker 2: any news story these days, conspiracy theories pop up around it, right.
- 3:20Speaker 3: I think that's the thing is they've just gotten a
- 3:21Speaker 3: lot of practice.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true with this story though. There's so many theories. Yeah,
- 3:28Speaker 2: it's insane. And the fires that are causing all the
- 3:33Speaker 2: problems on the East Coast are mostly happening in the
- 3:35Speaker 2: like Ontario area, like southeast Quebec, and they've had really
- 3:40Speaker 2: harsh weather that's made it more difficult to control these fires.
- 3:44Speaker 2: And the fire season in Canada lasts from May through
- 3:47Speaker 2: October geez, and the forecast is that the fires will
- 3:52Speaker 2: be especially bad that whole time, So people in New
- 3:56Speaker 2: York just aren't going to be able to breathe for
- 3:57Speaker 2: a while, which yah hucks.
- 3:59Speaker 3: But it's unfortunate. It's a nightmare scenario. It's the type
- 4:03Speaker 3: of thing that people have been talking about for decades
- 4:07Speaker 3: with regards to the climate.
- 4:09Speaker 2: And yeah, all of this led to New York City
- 4:12Speaker 2: briefly earning the title of worst air quality of any
- 4:16Speaker 2: major city. And that's not worst in the United States, right,
- 4:21Speaker 2: it's worst in the world. Jeez, So fucking Beijing had
- 4:25Speaker 2: at her air quality than New York States. Yeah, yeah,
- 4:29Speaker 2: Delia better air quality.
- 4:32Speaker 3: It's taken all of Los Angeles's self control not to
- 4:35Speaker 3: rub this in their face. Well, you know, but the
- 4:38Speaker 3: West Coast East Coast feud is, it's feudile right now.
- 4:41Speaker 3: We're all in this together.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Yeah, the East Coast is finally finding out what our
- 4:46Speaker 2: winters are like. God, yeah, we don't get snow. We
- 4:50Speaker 2: get fire. It's dry, and we get fire in the winter.
- 4:56Speaker 2: So yeah, we have inclement weather in California. It's very
- 5:00Speaker 2: dangerous when the state bursts into flames exactly. Or we
- 5:05Speaker 2: had the exact opposite this winter when it rained for
- 5:09Speaker 2: about eighty five days in.
- 5:12Speaker 3: A row, forty days and forty nights.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't like that. That's not what I moved
- 5:17Speaker 2: to California for. I get we needed the rain.
- 5:20Speaker 3: Well, the big problem is just that the city is
- 5:24Speaker 3: clearly built on quicksand, and any amount of rainfall just
- 5:30Speaker 3: washes whole streets away and that's the way bigger problem
- 5:34Speaker 3: than just the fact that it's raining.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Yeah, we do not have the infrastructure for a solid
- 5:40Speaker 2: month of rain.
- 5:42Speaker 3: Yeah, we're built in a goddamn desert. It's just not
- 5:45Speaker 3: the room for it.
- 5:46Speaker 2: So let's dive into some conspiracy theories. Okay, okay, Rolling Stone,
- 5:51Speaker 2: who still to this day does some pretty good political reporting. Yeah, totally.
- 5:57Speaker 2: They put up an article that was just about the
- 6:02Speaker 2: various conspiracy theories. So a lot of this episode we're
- 6:06Speaker 2: going to go through the various theories they rounded up
- 6:10Speaker 2: out there on the internet, and then we'll, you know,
- 6:13Speaker 2: obviously at our own commentary, but at the end we'll
- 6:16Speaker 2: talk about a few more that they didn't get to. Oh.
- 6:20Speaker 2: I should also point out the Rolling Stone article is
- 6:22Speaker 2: from two writers, Tim Dickinson and Miles Clee. I don't
- 6:25Speaker 2: want to not give them credit as I go through
- 6:28Speaker 2: their shit, which I know that is a podcast thing,
- 6:32Speaker 2: not giving credit. When I worked at Cracked, it would
- 6:36Speaker 2: happen all the time. But with radio shows, Oh, they
- 6:39Speaker 2: would read people's articles in their entirety, like for Batam,
- 6:45Speaker 2: and not give credit, and then when you would reach
- 6:48Speaker 2: out about it, they'd be like, well, that's just standard
- 6:51Speaker 2: in the industry.
- 6:52Speaker 3: We're stealing.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Yeah, we don't give credit for stuff like this. Cool
- 6:57Speaker 2: cool cool, have at.
- 6:58Speaker 3: Least gone with like, oh, the host was vamping and
- 7:01Speaker 3: it just happened to come out.
- 7:02Speaker 1: You know.
- 7:02Speaker 3: It's like a thousand monkeys in a room with typewriters.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Yeah, eventually you're going to say the exact same thing
- 7:09Speaker 2: for ten minutes.
- 7:10Speaker 3: They're gonna come up with a listicle that was on
- 7:12Speaker 3: crack dot cop.
- 7:14Speaker 2: So the first theory they mentioned the directed energy weapons theory.
- 7:21Speaker 2: This one was pushed by a far right media host
- 7:25Speaker 2: named Stu Peters, who infuriatingly spells his first name st W.
- 7:31Speaker 3: I'm really glad that you brought that up, because it's
- 7:35Speaker 3: just guys s to you, s to you. Yeah, otherwise
- 7:39Speaker 3: I think you're talking about like a meaty broth.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Yeah, and like it's fine to change the spelling when
- 7:46Speaker 2: you shorten it. That's a perfectly normal thing. Yeah, we
- 7:49Speaker 2: call people named Jonathan Jack sometimes, yes, we can. You
- 7:54Speaker 2: can substitute the ew for a U.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Somehow in English margin it became piggy.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly so. He is mostly well known for having
- 8:07Speaker 2: previously published a video called watch the Water or he
- 8:11Speaker 2: claims COVID is caused by synthetic snake venom and that
- 8:18Speaker 2: the Cabal spread it through Remdesevie vaccines and water to
- 8:24Speaker 2: make us hybrids of Satan. Very interesting that they would
- 8:27Speaker 2: spread COVID using a treatment for COVID, because you kind
- 8:31Speaker 2: of have to have COVID before you get remdesevir.
- 8:36Speaker 3: So okay, the snake venom, sure, sure, go on. I
- 8:41Speaker 3: don't understand how snake venom leads to being a hybrid
- 8:44Speaker 3: of Satan.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Well that's because you're blind, Olivia, and you haven't had
- 8:51Speaker 2: your eyes open to the truth, and unfortunately neither of ies,
- 8:55Speaker 2: so I have no idea.
- 8:57Speaker 3: Also, I'm so glad we're just straight out we're just
- 9:00Speaker 3: calling things caballs now, no, no, not a care in
- 9:04Speaker 3: the world, just just straight up talking about a secret caball.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Just set balls. Yeah, whenever I hear someone use the
- 9:14Speaker 2: word cabal, my fucking senses go on.
- 9:18Speaker 3: Unless they're talking about fucking destiny too. I don't need
- 9:21Speaker 3: to be hearing anybody talk about caball.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Yeah, or if it's a clip from like pre two
- 9:27Speaker 2: thousand and fourteen, then you can talk about cabals all
- 9:30Speaker 2: you want. It's just once. Once in the age of QAnon,
- 9:34Speaker 2: you don't get to use the word cabal anymore.
- 9:37Speaker 3: That's definitely true.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like the swastika. I get that it has
- 9:41Speaker 2: a lot of meanings, but once the Nazis started using it,
- 9:45Speaker 2: don't put it in your marketing.
- 9:47Speaker 3: Yeah, it's unfortunate about the swastika.
- 9:50Speaker 2: It is so Stu Peters stew he posted a thing
- 9:55Speaker 2: on Twitter. It said, watch all of Southeast Quebec catch
- 9:59Speaker 2: on fire at the exact same time. Statistically impossible to
- 10:04Speaker 2: happen by accident. Clearly, our governments are targeting us with
- 10:10Speaker 2: directed energy weapons. Sure, and it's like us. You're in
- 10:14Speaker 2: the United States, they're in Canada.
- 10:17Speaker 3: Well, but the smoke is bothering him, so it's clearly
- 10:21Speaker 3: about him.
- 10:22Speaker 2: True.
- 10:22Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, look, this is obviously ridiculous. I think
- 10:27Speaker 3: the fact that it's statistically impossible to happen, you know,
- 10:30Speaker 3: could use some citation.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Oh yeah, and we'll get to that at the end
- 10:34Speaker 2: of the episode too, where what he's describing as weird
- 10:38Speaker 2: as the video looks, I don't know if you've watched
- 10:40Speaker 2: the video, but it does look like five fires start
- 10:44Speaker 2: at the same time. Sure, but that's actually not what's happening, No,
- 10:50Speaker 2: but we'll get there.
- 10:51Speaker 3: First of all, fires don't just immediately become blazing visible
- 10:56Speaker 3: wildfires instantly. That just is not how it works. And
- 11:00Speaker 3: then our ancestors figured that out while we were in caves.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's exactly the thing. We'll play a more
- 11:07Speaker 2: detailed description of it at the end from an actual meteorologist.
- 11:11Speaker 2: But what's happening in this video that this guy's talking about,
- 11:15Speaker 2: and like all of these theories seem to be based
- 11:18Speaker 2: on this video, the simple description is these fires had
- 11:22Speaker 2: all started, but they were just like smoldering under the
- 11:27Speaker 2: cover of the tree tops, and then there was a
- 11:31Speaker 2: really strong wind incident that basically caused all five of
- 11:37Speaker 2: the fires you see in that video to blow up
- 11:40Speaker 2: at once, because that's what wind does with fires, It
- 11:44Speaker 2: makes them bigger and stronger, and so all you're seeing
- 11:47Speaker 2: is five different fires that had already started reacting to
- 11:52Speaker 2: being hit by the same like huge wind force basically,
- 11:57Speaker 2: which when we listen to the video, I mean, that's
- 12:00Speaker 2: exactly how she'll say it, the huge wind force. Wind force.
- 12:04Speaker 3: Everybody knows that's the scientific term.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Right, It's how you describe what wind really feels. Like,
- 12:10Speaker 2: even if it's only blowing like twenty five miles an hour,
- 12:13Speaker 2: it's like wind chill or real feel, which I love.
- 12:17Speaker 2: Some outlets have rebranded it wait wind what some like
- 12:24Speaker 2: media outlets that instead of wind chill, they call it
- 12:27Speaker 2: real feel. So if it's twenty degrees out, but with
- 12:31Speaker 2: wind chill it feels like eight, that means the real
- 12:34Speaker 2: feel is eight degrees. Baby.
- 12:36Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure Sex Toys have had real field covered
- 12:40Speaker 3: for a while now, right anyway.
- 12:46Speaker 2: So yeah. One Twitter user in response to this post wrote,
- 12:51Speaker 2: looks like the storm has arrived. Cabal is going scorched earth,
- 12:56Speaker 2: and it's like, now, you're just mixing up your fucking
- 12:59Speaker 2: plot lines. That's not what the storm is. The storm
- 13:02Speaker 2: is when the cabal gets rounded up.
- 13:04Speaker 3: Supposedly, that's like what the Q storm is supposed to mean, right, yeah.
- 13:08Speaker 2: The storm actually, yeah, that's what it refers to, is
- 13:11Speaker 2: that moment when Donald Trump and his ILK dropped the
- 13:15Speaker 2: hammer on the cabal and round him all up in
- 13:18Speaker 2: the middle of the night. Yeah, which was also supposed
- 13:21Speaker 2: to have happened several times by now.
- 13:24Speaker 3: Yeah, I believe didn't that happen in twenty seventeen, didn't
- 13:28Speaker 3: that happen in his first year in office.
- 13:30Speaker 2: I could have sworm, I believe. So, yeah, I believe
- 13:32Speaker 2: he wiped out the child sex trafficking cult and that's
- 13:35Speaker 2: why he didn't get reelected. There was nothing else for
- 13:37Speaker 2: him to do.
- 13:38Speaker 3: Exactly, his job was done. That's what he drained the
- 13:41Speaker 3: swamp around the same time, right.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Right, right, yeah, yeah, he made America great again. And
- 13:46Speaker 2: then so we didn't need to re elect him. It's
- 13:49Speaker 2: pretty selfless actually.
- 13:50Speaker 3: And now you know the trans is are going after
- 13:53Speaker 3: our kids, so he's gotta come back into the game.
- 13:57Speaker 2: We put the fucking Trump beacon into the Yeah, it's
- 14:01Speaker 2: just an outline of his hair, like the old Conan
- 14:04Speaker 2: O'Brien logo.
- 14:05Speaker 3: It's like Rainbow First Blood part two. You know, he's
- 14:08Speaker 3: in the prison camp, laboring away.
- 14:11Speaker 2: And now he's back to stop trans women from winning
- 14:14Speaker 2: medals in swimming, thank god.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Yeah, which is someone has such a problem, such a
- 14:20Speaker 3: huge problem.
- 14:21Speaker 2: Huge problem. I lose sleep over it, honestly, I mean god,
- 14:25Speaker 2: they's a swimming pool though, So.
- 14:27Speaker 3: They stopped the fastest woman in Connecticut from getting fourth
- 14:31Speaker 3: place in the race. Exactly can you believe this?
- 14:35Speaker 2: Oh, it's so crazy.
- 14:37Speaker 3: Yep, it is.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Speaking of crazy. Let's talk about the next story, the
- 14:43Speaker 2: flame thrower drone theory. Yeah, which this would be such
- 14:49Speaker 2: an audacious plot if it was like to just send
- 14:55Speaker 2: a drone that is spitting fire and you're doing it
- 15:01Speaker 2: for like nefarious reasons, that's not gonna fly. Yeah.
- 15:06Speaker 3: I thought this was supposed to be like a secret conspiracy.
- 15:10Speaker 3: It's not very inconspicuous.
- 15:13Speaker 2: This also comes from Stu Peters. Yeah, he posted a.
- 15:20Speaker 3: What I said, stupid anyway, I got him.
- 15:26Speaker 2: He posted another video and this one showed what looked
- 15:30Speaker 2: like a remote controlled helicopter, Yeah, drizzling like napalm on
- 15:36Speaker 2: a forest. This is a quote. It seems Canada isn't
- 15:40Speaker 2: sophisticated enough to use d w's. Looks like they opted
- 15:44Speaker 2: for a drone with a flame thrower instead. It's like
- 15:49Speaker 2: a drone with a flame thrower.
- 15:52Speaker 3: That's the next best option to a laser.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Yeah, and like, is that even the most efficient way
- 15:59Speaker 2: to start a fire? I mean it might be, because
- 16:01Speaker 2: this is a legitimate thing. The video's real.
- 16:03Speaker 3: Really, you could fuck up a forest with the chart
- 16:06Speaker 3: with a flamethrower.
- 16:08Speaker 2: You sure could. You could also do it with just
- 16:12Speaker 2: a flamethrower, right, exactly.
- 16:13Speaker 3: Well, then they used to this is the whole that's
- 16:16Speaker 3: the advancement that we're seeing here.
- 16:19Speaker 2: And yeah, what is depicted in this video is a
- 16:22Speaker 2: firefighting drone engaging in something called backburning, which is a
- 16:28Speaker 2: standard firefighting procedure where you basically fight fire with fire exactly. Yeah,
- 16:35Speaker 2: And even after that was pointed out in the comments,
- 16:39Speaker 2: people were still clinging to this idea, sure, to the
- 16:44Speaker 2: point that one commenter said, that is terrorism on our
- 16:47Speaker 2: own soil. These fucks need to be arrested. Any helicopter
- 16:52Speaker 2: with this equipment needs to be destroyed in the pilot
- 16:55Speaker 2: hung and it's like, okay, but then we'll have to
- 16:57Speaker 2: go back to backburning with just flamethrower and then that
- 17:01Speaker 2: thing we just mentioned about the wind. Sometimes those two
- 17:04Speaker 2: things combined to kill people. Exactly.
- 17:06Speaker 3: It's extremely dangerous.
- 17:08Speaker 2: It's highly dangerous to start a forest fire from the ground.
- 17:13Speaker 3: I think a big problem here is the American education
- 17:18Speaker 3: system has just totally failed in teaching our kids about
- 17:23Speaker 3: backdraft the correct the Ron Howard film.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Sure Sure, which is more.
- 17:29Speaker 3: Kids not to be watching it.
- 17:31Speaker 2: It's a great film and it's a great tragedy that
- 17:33Speaker 2: it's not shown in schools.
- 17:35Speaker 3: It should be. It teaches us that fire is an evil,
- 17:39Speaker 3: living thing that seeks out your loved ones, and that
- 17:45Speaker 3: you know, there are various ways that we can combat.
- 17:47Speaker 2: It, including a drone with a flamethrower, including.
- 17:51Speaker 3: A drill with a flavor, which is a cool idea.
- 17:53Speaker 3: I don't know why you guys are shitting on something
- 17:54Speaker 3: that's objectively awesome.
- 17:56Speaker 2: So now let's talk about a theory that makes it
- 17:59Speaker 2: just a whole lot of sense. Absolutely, these fires Olivia
- 18:03Speaker 2: are the result of an Antifa arsonist. Yeah, can you
- 18:08Speaker 2: believe it?
- 18:10Speaker 3: Oh?
- 18:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I sure don't.
- 18:16Speaker 3: It's so fun. How now, anytime the right wing gets
- 18:19Speaker 3: mad at something, they can't have the mental capacity to
- 18:23Speaker 3: be mad at multiple things at the same time, and
- 18:26Speaker 3: so they have to combine it. And so we've gotten
- 18:29Speaker 3: Trantifa recently, and now we're getting fire Tifa.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Yes, this is a quote from social media user quoted
- 18:38Speaker 2: in the Rolling Stone article. Antifa pyromaniacs are getting started
- 18:43Speaker 2: early this year as this thing on wines looked for
- 18:46Speaker 2: wildfires to increase exponentially as the cabal burns everything down.
- 18:52Speaker 2: What does getting started early this year means this thing
- 18:56Speaker 2: has Antifa been set in forest fires this whole time.
- 19:00Speaker 3: I think that's the implication, and maybe with a little
- 19:03Speaker 3: bit of like fires at Black Lives Matter protests and
- 19:10Speaker 3: the general implication there. I don't know. I don't see
- 19:14Speaker 3: how these people's rotted brains work.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Is there a target in the forests of southeast Quebec.
- 19:21Speaker 3: No, but Minneapolis did put one of their police precincts there,
- 19:25Speaker 3: which was a mistake. I'll say that was a mistake.
- 19:28Speaker 2: Yeah, that was a misjudgment for sure.
- 19:30Speaker 3: I mean, for one thing, it's in another country which.
- 19:34Speaker 2: No jurisdiction there at all.
- 19:36Speaker 3: They have to drive so far across the border to
- 19:39Speaker 3: enforce the law.
- 19:41Speaker 2: I'm gonna be honest. Might be illegal to put a
- 19:43Speaker 2: police station in another country, Yeah.
- 19:45Speaker 3: I think so. Yeah, I feel like that could be
- 19:47Speaker 3: an active war. We should investigate this.
- 19:50Speaker 2: And you'll know that with this theory, not a single
- 19:54Speaker 2: one like this theory and all the others when they
- 19:58Speaker 2: bring up the cabal burning shit down, almost none of
- 20:02Speaker 2: them provide a reason for why that would be. We'll
- 20:06Speaker 2: get to some theories that do. But all of these
- 20:10Speaker 2: Antifa arsonists, flamethrower, drone, direct energy weapons, why it's just well,
- 20:17Speaker 2: something bad happened. The cabal must have done it exactly.
- 20:20Speaker 3: Yes, that's it, that's all they got.
- 20:24Speaker 2: Must be the deep state burning down our Canadian forests.
- 20:29Speaker 3: Deep state.
- 20:30Speaker 2: But this next theory fixes all that. The wildfires are
- 20:35Speaker 2: the new COVID theory. Sure, sure, because you see now
- 20:40Speaker 2: that COVID restrictions have mostly ended, the government needs a
- 20:44Speaker 2: new way to impose lockdowns on people. Because remember how
- 20:48Speaker 2: that was great for the economy and absolutely there was
- 20:53Speaker 2: no blowback on the government at all from that. Oh no, well,
- 20:57Speaker 2: I mean, what better way to keep us all inside
- 21:00Speaker 2: then allegedly terrible air quality. Sure, here's a quote, and
- 21:06Speaker 2: the mispronunciations are actually part of the quote. They sets
- 21:10Speaker 2: the Quebec in Ontario on fire as part of a
- 21:14Speaker 2: globalist climate change scam. Climate change lockdowns are starting. And
- 21:21Speaker 2: here are a couple other quotes from the Rolling Stone article.
- 21:25Speaker 2: As many of us have noticed from the start, many
- 21:28Speaker 2: of the COVID zealots also push climate crisis shit, no.
- 21:33Speaker 3: Shit, I wonder what's up with that?
- 21:35Speaker 2: Wildfires are the new COVID Stay indoors wear a mask,
- 21:41Speaker 2: fear pushed by the news it will only be two
- 21:44Speaker 2: weeks is anyone else felling deja vu, Like imagine being
- 21:49Speaker 2: mad that the government tells you to wear a mask
- 21:51Speaker 2: when there is smoke in the air. Yeah.
- 21:55Speaker 3: First thing I like to say is, go ahead. This
- 21:57Speaker 3: seems like a problem that will fix itself. You just
- 21:59Speaker 3: don't wear a man gets fine, correct, We don't have
- 22:02Speaker 3: to worry about these people. They will not be a
- 22:05Speaker 3: long term issue. Yeah, make a day, stay out, go ahead,
- 22:10Speaker 3: go for a jog whatever.
- 22:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:12Speaker 3: Second, I just love this idea that the government needs
- 22:15Speaker 3: an excuse to bring back lockdowns, as if the government
- 22:21Speaker 3: wasn't the one that stopped the lockdown. Yeah, they could
- 22:27Speaker 3: just have not stopped it if they wanted to keep
- 22:30Speaker 3: it going. That's easy. They don't need to set anything
- 22:33Speaker 3: on fire. You just say, you know, no, there's actually,
- 22:38Speaker 3: according to all reasonable evidence, COVID is still a huge problem.
- 22:42Speaker 3: So we're gonna stay locked down. But they didn't do.
- 22:45Speaker 2: That, right, And yeah, that would have been a much
- 22:48Speaker 2: easier course of action as opposed to let's set like
- 22:52Speaker 2: two thirds of Canada on fire. Yeah, exactly, see what happens?
- 22:56Speaker 3: Nothing back could happened because of that, Right, what's the worst.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Surely that's not gonna accelerate anything terrible happening with our climate.
- 23:05Speaker 2: Right, And also this would be comparable to COVID if
- 23:11Speaker 2: when COVID started, the government was like, look, it's gonna
- 23:15Speaker 2: be five months in October, it's gonna be all done
- 23:18Speaker 2: because we know the Canadian wildfire season goes from like
- 23:21Speaker 2: May to October. Right, Yeah, we didn't have that with COVID.
- 23:24Speaker 2: The government was like, I don't know.
- 23:27Speaker 3: Not only do we not know, we're actively trying not
- 23:30Speaker 3: to know. We don't want to know.
- 23:33Speaker 2: And also what an ineffective way to impose a long
- 23:38Speaker 2: term lockdown because the difference between smoke from a fire
- 23:43Speaker 2: and COVID is that you can just look up in
- 23:46Speaker 2: the sky and see if one of them is there.
- 23:48Speaker 3: Yeah, oh my lungs are really burning today? Why is
- 23:53Speaker 3: it worn't the government.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Exactly like those lockdowns will be over and you'll know
- 23:59Speaker 2: when they're gonna be over because there's no more smoke
- 24:02Speaker 2: in the sky.
- 24:02Speaker 3: Exactly, very simple, and like again, you know, you're free
- 24:06Speaker 3: to ignore all of this. This is not like COVID.
- 24:10Speaker 3: No one is gonna try to stop you too passionately
- 24:14Speaker 3: from going outside. If you really want to go ahead.
- 24:18Speaker 2: You're not gonna spread fire to your loved ones.
- 24:21Speaker 3: Exactly, go fucking die. I don't fucking care.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Those goddamn park don't wear a mask. Yeah, please speaking
- 24:30Speaker 2: to that, here's another quote. Places like New York are
- 24:33Speaker 2: advising to stay inside, go outside for only essential errands,
- 24:38Speaker 2: and to wear an N ninety five mask if they
- 24:41Speaker 2: go outside. Are they seeing how many people will follow
- 24:45Speaker 2: their recommendations voluntarily?
- 24:48Speaker 3: They don't want your lungs to burn out of your chest.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that particulate matter that's gonna get in your
- 24:54Speaker 2: chest is no fucking joke.
- 24:56Speaker 3: Because the city will have to clean you up. Yeah,
- 25:01Speaker 3: that's the extent of their motivation here.
- 25:03Speaker 2: Yeah, this is so much crazier than the covid Anti mask.
- 25:08Speaker 3: Well, yeah, it's evidence of how absolutely out of control
- 25:14Speaker 3: our national discourse has gotten in all arenas. Yeah, it's
- 25:19Speaker 3: just out of control. Things that were minor grievances three
- 25:24Speaker 3: years ago are now life or death struggles that we
- 25:28Speaker 3: will like suicide bomboo over.
- 25:31Speaker 2: Basically, Yeah, it's wild how everything is political now. Yes,
- 25:39Speaker 2: there is no news story that is not political and
- 25:43Speaker 2: divisive in some way, I.
- 25:45Speaker 3: Mean, and it's all being pushed by a fanatic right
- 25:50Speaker 3: wing yeah, yeah, it moleft wing is like trying to
- 25:53Speaker 3: keep up.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Yeah. So here's another this this theory is a little confusing.
- 25:58Speaker 2: We are about to be hit on several front's theory. Yeah.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Rolling Stone found this from a gab user who added
- 26:06Speaker 2: another angle to the lockdown theory. Here's a quote. We
- 26:09Speaker 2: are about to be hit on several fronts another pandemic,
- 26:13Speaker 2: climate emergency, illegal invasion, and UFO invasion. Sound crazy. Get ready,
- 26:21Speaker 2: it's coming, It's happening now. Yeah.
- 26:26Speaker 3: I mean look this to me, this to me is
- 26:29Speaker 3: so just representative of what conspiracy theories have become, where
- 26:33Speaker 3: it's all together, it's all wrapped up, it's all related.
- 26:37Speaker 3: Even if there's nothing there to connect these things, the
- 26:43Speaker 3: fact that they believe in all of them means that
- 26:46Speaker 3: they are all connected.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Yeah. And there's a lot of gambling with your reputation
- 26:52Speaker 2: in stuff like this. Yeah, because unless you go back
- 26:55Speaker 2: and delete your gabs or whatever the fuck they call
- 26:58Speaker 2: them on that site, eventually people are going to be
- 27:01Speaker 2: able to come back to you and go, hey, that
- 27:03Speaker 2: thing you said was going to happen isn't happening. What
- 27:05Speaker 2: the fuck? Yeah? But I mean not that that matters
- 27:10Speaker 2: to people who push shit like this, but still.
- 27:13Speaker 3: It's easier to prove. But yeah, like people have been
- 27:16Speaker 3: making doomsday predictions for forever and this is just like
- 27:21Speaker 3: this is the modern version of that, and now there
- 27:24Speaker 3: are a bunch of people who, Yeah, you could go
- 27:26Speaker 3: back and find someone's contradictory gabs, but like, who would
- 27:32Speaker 3: believe this would do that? Like even if it doesn't happen,
- 27:37Speaker 3: I feel like they'll just be like, well, it's going
- 27:39Speaker 3: to happen soon anyway.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Right, or it's just part of the plot, or yeah.
- 27:44Speaker 3: Or they wanted us to think it was happened. It's
- 27:46Speaker 3: a faint you know.
- 27:48Speaker 2: Yeah, my gab post actually prevented.
- 27:50Speaker 3: It, so right exactly, they saw that we knew, so
- 27:53Speaker 3: they changed the idea.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Some other users on gab speculated that the cause would
- 28:00Speaker 2: space debris. Sure, why not, which I think we'd notice
- 28:04Speaker 2: space debris that caused that kind of fucking damage.
- 28:06Speaker 3: Maybe maybe we did it, maybe it was cosmic, but like,
- 28:09Speaker 3: I don't know what that's supposed to prove. Yeah, like
- 28:14Speaker 3: space debris lands on Earth every day.
- 28:16Speaker 2: So also, another user pointed out that the path of
- 28:20Speaker 2: the wildfires is the same path those weird Chinese spy
- 28:24Speaker 2: balloons took yeah, which that was months ago.
- 28:29Speaker 3: And also is that true?
- 28:33Speaker 2: Probably not.
- 28:34Speaker 3: I haven't looked up either of those maps, but just
- 28:37Speaker 3: on my guts, I gotta say I would need some
- 28:42Speaker 3: evidence about that.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Yeah, And it does seem like that would be legitimate
- 28:46Speaker 2: news if that was the case, Like, if there was
- 28:50Speaker 2: a direct line you could trace for both of those events,
- 28:55Speaker 2: I feel like someone would point that out for real.
- 28:57Speaker 3: Do you think the American media would pass up an
- 29:00Speaker 3: opportunity to fearmonger?
- 29:02Speaker 2: Come on right exactly and the American government seriously, Next theory,
- 29:09Speaker 2: I didn't know anything about this, Okay.
- 29:11Speaker 3: Yeah, I had never heard anything this complicated, but I
- 29:16Speaker 3: was aware that there was similar to the rumblings of
- 29:20Speaker 3: the They're going to make you eat the bug. I'd
- 29:22Speaker 3: heard about the fifteen minute cities thing.
- 29:25Speaker 2: Yeah, Like I just barely knew what a fifteen minute
- 29:28Speaker 2: city is. But it's a place where residents can get
- 29:31Speaker 2: pretty much all of life's necessities within it's a fifteen
- 29:35Speaker 2: minute walk.
- 29:36Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a catchy slogan for a walkable urban environment.
- 29:40Speaker 3: That's literally all it is. It's just a way for
- 29:44Speaker 3: urban planners to talk about the goal of a walkable
- 29:48Speaker 3: urban environment.
- 29:49Speaker 2: And what I didn't realize is that this is what
- 29:54Speaker 2: people mean when they talk about climate lockdowns, because these
- 29:59Speaker 2: cities are being developed in this way because our cars
- 30:02Speaker 2: are spewing too much shit into the air. That's indefinitely Yeah,
- 30:08Speaker 2: And these plans for cities like this are a response
- 30:12Speaker 2: to the climate crisis. And what right wingers think is
- 30:17Speaker 2: you're going to be locked in this small, fifteen minute
- 30:21Speaker 2: city because of climate and it's just the next way
- 30:25Speaker 2: for the government to lock us down.
- 30:27Speaker 3: Yeah, they're going to lock you in one of the
- 30:29Speaker 3: most ideal living conditions that a human being could possibly
- 30:34Speaker 3: ask for. Oh no, yeah, Yeah. What's really ridiculous about
- 30:39Speaker 3: this is they are literally getting scared of ideas.
- 30:43Speaker 2: Right.
- 30:43Speaker 3: Nothing about this as being built, nothing about it's even
- 30:46Speaker 3: really actively being planned. Most cities actively fight against urbanization,
- 30:53Speaker 3: against you know, making their cities walkable and less car heavy.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:58Speaker 3: So not only is this not happening in the way
- 31:01Speaker 3: that they describe, it's not even happening in the good way.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Right. And also I imagine a lot of people pushing
- 31:09Speaker 2: this theory and people who are up in arms about
- 31:12Speaker 2: fifteen minute cities. They're gonna tend to be Trump supporter types.
- 31:16Speaker 2: And we know Trump has a huge following in rural areas. Yes,
- 31:21Speaker 2: And we are fresh off of recording an episode of
- 31:26Speaker 2: you Don't even like this show about Dollar General and
- 31:29Speaker 2: dollar stores in general, and hey, and like, if you're
- 31:35Speaker 2: living in one of these rural areas that super duper
- 31:38Speaker 2: support Trump, chances are you only have like a Dollar
- 31:41Speaker 2: General that you can walk to. If even that.
- 31:45Speaker 3: Oh yeah, the idea of walking anywhere, even in a
- 31:49Speaker 3: like vaguely rural area is kind of laughable.
- 31:53Speaker 2: Yeah, And like, I get that hamburger helper tastes a
- 31:56Speaker 2: lot better than you would expect it to. But also
- 31:59Speaker 2: there's so much more food out there you could have
- 32:01Speaker 2: if you had access to something other than a Dollar General.
- 32:05Speaker 2: So the fifteen minute cities aren't a bad thing, no.
- 32:08Speaker 3: And it's not like, you know, a fifteen minute city
- 32:12Speaker 3: existing would get rid of you know, small rural towns.
- 32:18Speaker 3: That's just a fairy tale.
- 32:20Speaker 2: But if the cabal sets all the small towns on
- 32:25Speaker 2: fire Olivia, then people in those areas will be forced
- 32:31Speaker 2: to migrate to fifteen minute towns.
- 32:34Speaker 3: Well, you know, if Mike Town ever caught on fire,
- 32:38Speaker 3: I would be happy that the place I was going
- 32:40Speaker 3: to didn't require me to already have a lot of possessions. Honestly,
- 32:47Speaker 3: I just don't understand. This is the thing that kind
- 32:49Speaker 3: of makes me break down is Americans getting pissy about
- 32:54Speaker 3: urban planning.
- 32:55Speaker 2: Yeah, make any sense, It doesn't make any sense.
- 33:00Speaker 3: It's not bad for anyone except for really super rich people.
- 33:06Speaker 2: Yeah. It's exactly as if someone went into one of
- 33:10Speaker 2: these communities and was like, hey, you want more grocery
- 33:12Speaker 2: stores here, and they were like, no, absolutely not, and
- 33:17Speaker 2: you need them in.
- 33:19Speaker 3: The fucked up thing about America is that there would
- 33:24Speaker 3: be those people. Yes, absolutely fucking lunatics.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Hey, speaking of fucking lunatics, here's a quote from David
- 33:32Speaker 2: Nino Rodriguez, a former heavyweight boxer. Uh, the fires in
- 33:36Speaker 2: Canada are being used for nothing more than to displace families,
- 33:41Speaker 2: ruin homes, and migrate people into fifteen minute cities. I
- 33:46Speaker 2: should point out Rolling Stone already made the joke that
- 33:49Speaker 2: sounds exactly like someone who got hit in the head professionally, Yeah, which, yeah, exactly.
- 33:57Speaker 3: Yeah, there's really I mean, talk about a knockout, like
- 34:00Speaker 3: you're not going to really do better than that. Yeah,
- 34:04Speaker 3: I mean it's ridiculous.
- 34:05Speaker 2: I just don't.
- 34:06Speaker 3: Understand why anyone would think that a government would want
- 34:10Speaker 3: to do this stuff. It just sounds like a huge
- 34:13Speaker 3: pain in the ass for very little gain for the government.
- 34:16Speaker 2: Yeah. And also, once again, it's the government. If they're
- 34:20Speaker 2: building some shit and you don't want to sell them
- 34:22Speaker 2: your house to make way for it, they'll eventually just
- 34:25Speaker 2: take your house, yeah, and give you the money they
- 34:28Speaker 2: want to give you for it. If the government wanted
- 34:31Speaker 2: to force us to migrate to fifteen minute cities, they
- 34:35Speaker 2: would force us to migrate to fifteen minutes they Why.
- 34:38Speaker 3: Would they burn down land that is perfectly usable, right, right,
- 34:42Speaker 3: It doesn't make any sense actially.
- 34:44Speaker 2: If it's a climate change thing.
- 34:47Speaker 3: Sure, but they don't think climate change is real.
- 34:49Speaker 2: True, so I imagine they also think climate change types
- 34:54Speaker 2: don't think climate change is real.
- 34:57Speaker 3: That's the right wing dynamic because they don't actually believe
- 35:00Speaker 3: in anything except spiting other people. They think that that's
- 35:03Speaker 3: how people on the other side think, even though really
- 35:06Speaker 3: we're just like we was a few people to fucking
- 35:08Speaker 3: die as we possibly can.
- 35:10Speaker 2: Yeah. Remember there was that Jesse Ventura episode about how
- 35:14Speaker 2: al Gore was like making money on climate change technology. Sure.
- 35:20Speaker 2: And it's like people should make money for working.
- 35:24Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, yeah, you think al Gore shouldn't be paid
- 35:26Speaker 3: for making a successful documentary.
- 35:29Speaker 2: That's his job.
- 35:30Speaker 3: Now, I thought you were supposed to be a free
- 35:32Speaker 3: market libertarian.
- 35:34Speaker 2: Are you up to al Gore? Jesus Jesse, I wish
- 35:38Speaker 2: he would. We got to find more, Jesse Ventura con.
- 35:41Speaker 3: I hope he's just chilling. I hope he is just
- 35:44Speaker 3: smoking with that hanging out.
- 35:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm sure he's not. He's probably somewhere with Oliver
- 35:50Speaker 2: Stone's kid.
- 35:52Speaker 3: Yeah, mischief, not Oliver stones Kid.
- 35:57Speaker 2: The last Rolling Stone theory that they mentioned in this article.
- 36:00Speaker 2: It's a doozy Olivia. The point of this fire the
- 36:04Speaker 2: cabal set them to black out the sun. Wow, there's
- 36:10Speaker 2: a quote. Does anyone else have a sneaking suspicion that
- 36:13Speaker 2: these Canadian fires are meant to blot out the sun
- 36:18Speaker 2: and kill crops? What that is going to impact everybody?
- 36:24Speaker 3: Yeah? The kabul needs mean, unless you're saying the kaboul
- 36:27Speaker 3: doesn't need to eat food to stay alive, which they might.
- 36:30Speaker 2: Be saying, well, they eat children, so right, Yeah.
- 36:34Speaker 3: But I mean it seems like their children crops would need.
- 36:39Speaker 2: That's true, you do got to feed the children.
- 36:41Speaker 3: But also, like, buddy, you don't think we got some
- 36:44Speaker 3: better ways to blot out the sun if we wanted
- 36:46Speaker 3: to blot out the sun. Yeah, surely then starting a
- 36:50Speaker 3: bunch of fires. That just seems so low tech.
- 36:53Speaker 2: Yeah. And also we got better ways to kill crops.
- 36:56Speaker 3: Oh, we could kill crops in an instant.
- 36:59Speaker 2: Yeah, it is actually a thing we do the United
- 37:04Speaker 2: States government. It is one of the things we do
- 37:06Speaker 2: when we are engaging in war, or a thing we've
- 37:09Speaker 2: done in the past, like, if it's to our benefit,
- 37:13Speaker 2: we will fuck up your food supply.
- 37:15Speaker 3: Have these people seen our flamethio drones, because I bet
- 37:20Speaker 3: you any thing, you anything, we could take out some
- 37:22Speaker 3: crops with those.
- 37:23Speaker 2: Yeah, we can kill so many crops. Yeah.
- 37:26Speaker 3: Why do forest fires when we could do crop fires.
- 37:30Speaker 2: Here's another quote. The main thing that comes to mind
- 37:33Speaker 2: is cloud seeding with smoke particles. It could possibly keep
- 37:38Speaker 2: people from planting or make seeds too wet to germinate.
- 37:42Speaker 2: So yes, same goal, kill the crop production. I like
- 37:46Speaker 2: how all these motherfuckers are scientists.
- 37:49Speaker 3: The smartest people on the planet, truly.
- 37:52Speaker 2: It's amazing.
- 37:53Speaker 3: Wow, the mines.
- 37:55Speaker 2: Here's one last quote. Breaking the sun is no longer
- 37:59Speaker 2: visible in Binghamton, New York. They just did it. They
- 38:04Speaker 2: covered up the sun. No more vitamins, No more vitamins.
- 38:11Speaker 3: No more vitamins.
- 38:14Speaker 2: This guy wasn't taking vitamins anyway. No, And yeah, we'll
- 38:19Speaker 2: link to this Rolling Stone article in the show notes.
- 38:21Speaker 2: It's a good read. And we are not done no,
- 38:27Speaker 2: because we should also talk about Marjorie Taylor Green and
- 38:30Speaker 2: her Jewish space laser theory.
- 38:33Speaker 3: What a cool lady.
- 38:34Speaker 2: Yeah, she's so great. So a lot of these theories
- 38:38Speaker 2: most likely have their roots in a story that broke
- 38:41Speaker 2: about Marjorie Taylor Green back in twenty twenty one. That's
- 38:45Speaker 2: when a reporter named Eric Hananoke wrote about a twenty
- 38:49Speaker 2: eighteen Facebook post where Marjorie Taylor Green suggested that wildfires
- 38:55Speaker 2: were being set intentionally by PG and E. That's Pacific
- 39:00Speaker 2: Gas and Electric in conjunction, exactly in conjunction with who else,
- 39:07Speaker 2: the rothschild's a, the Jews, and all to make way
- 39:14Speaker 2: for a high speed rail project.
- 39:17Speaker 3: God, I fucking wish man Jesus.
- 39:19Speaker 2: And as long as it may be, I feel like
- 39:23Speaker 2: we'd be doing the people of disservice if we didn't
- 39:25Speaker 2: read that post. Yes, cause here's the thing. This is
- 39:29Speaker 2: why Marjorie Taylor Green is in Congress and the motherfucker's
- 39:34Speaker 2: quoted in this article are on telegram or whatever. She
- 39:38Speaker 2: puts some thought into this crazy shit. Yes, yeah, that
- 39:43Speaker 2: is why it's so long. I imagine I'm going to
- 39:46Speaker 2: run out of steam about halfway through and give up.
- 39:49Speaker 2: But let's go for as long as we can. Here
- 39:51Speaker 2: goes as. There are now over seventy people confirmed dead
- 39:56Speaker 2: in over one thousand missing. The fires in California are
- 39:59Speaker 2: a horrific tragedy. I'm praying for all involved. Good start
- 40:04Speaker 2: so far. If she had just ended the post there,
- 40:07Speaker 2: we'd be in business. But it goes on. I'm posting
- 40:10Speaker 2: this in speculation because there are too many coincidences to ignore,
- 40:15Speaker 2: and just putting it out there from some research I've
- 40:18Speaker 2: done stemming from my curiosity over PG and E stocks,
- 40:23Speaker 2: which tanked all week then rallied Thursday night after California
- 40:29Speaker 2: officials announced they would not let PG and E fail.
- 40:33Speaker 2: I find it very interesting that Roger Kimmel, on the
- 40:37Speaker 2: board of directors of PG and E, is also vice
- 40:40Speaker 2: chairman of Ross's Child Incorporated International Investment banking firm. I
- 40:46Speaker 2: also find interesting the long history of financial contributions that
- 40:51Speaker 2: PG and E has made to Jerry Brown over the years,
- 40:55Speaker 2: and millions spent in lobbying. What a coincidence it must
- 41:00Speaker 2: be that Governor Brown signed a bill in September. Okay,
- 41:04Speaker 2: this is too long. Where's the fucking lasers? Here we go. Then,
- 41:08Speaker 2: oddly there are all these people who have said they
- 41:11Speaker 2: saw what looked like lasers are blue beams of light
- 41:14Speaker 2: causing the fires and pictures and videos. I don't know
- 41:18Speaker 2: anything about that, but I do find it really curious
- 41:21Speaker 2: PG and E's partnership with solarin on space solar generators
- 41:26Speaker 2: starting in two thousand and nine. They announced the launch
- 41:29Speaker 2: into space in March twenty eighteen, and maybe even put
- 41:34Speaker 2: them up before that. Space solar generators collect the Sun's
- 41:39Speaker 2: energy and then beam it back to Earth to a
- 41:42Speaker 2: transmitter to convert to electricity. I cannot go on. There's
- 41:47Speaker 2: so much more.
- 41:48Speaker 3: Yeah, it's an extremely long post.
- 41:51Speaker 2: It's a very long post, and I just cannot do it.
- 41:54Speaker 2: But hey, we'll link to it if you want to
- 41:57Speaker 2: read it and be radicalized by its fat Yeah, she's
- 42:01Speaker 2: basically saying the Jews are working with the state of
- 42:05Speaker 2: California to build space lasers to start wild fires.
- 42:11Speaker 3: Right, because that's the easiest way to do that.
- 42:13Speaker 2: And that's exactly what California needs, is more fucking wildfires.
- 42:18Speaker 3: I just don't understand.
- 42:19Speaker 2: And somewhere in there there's stuff about a high speed
- 42:22Speaker 2: rail project.
- 42:23Speaker 3: There is, Yeah, yeah, there is. It makes no sense
- 42:25Speaker 3: even if you did read it all.
- 42:27Speaker 2: Yeah, because again, we wouldn't just you know, tear down
- 42:30Speaker 2: that part of the forest that we needed for the
- 42:32Speaker 2: high speed rail project.
- 42:34Speaker 3: Yeah, or go around it, or you know, all sorts
- 42:38Speaker 3: of options. We should build a high speed rail.
- 42:40Speaker 2: Though I would argue building a high speed rail would
- 42:43Speaker 2: maybe even in terms of climate stuff, offset the damage
- 42:47Speaker 2: done by cutting down some trees. It would help. So yeah, yeah,
- 42:53Speaker 2: I would love that fucking high speed rail.
- 42:55Speaker 3: It would seem like our country is pretty well suited
- 42:58Speaker 3: to it, considering how vast it is.
- 43:03Speaker 2: Yep, hey, all right, let's talk about a theory from
- 43:06Speaker 2: the Canadian side of the border. Yeah, the echo terrorist theory. Sure,
- 43:13Speaker 2: this article comes from Yahoo UK.
- 43:16Speaker 3: Y'all oo Yahoo dot uk yah ooh.
- 43:20Speaker 2: Brov in it. We still a search engine in it? Yoh,
- 43:25Speaker 2: I don't know if there's still a search engine anyway,
- 43:28Speaker 2: The conspiracy theories from Canada are a little less sensationalists because,
- 43:33Speaker 2: as we all know, historically Canada not as fun as
- 43:36Speaker 2: we are.
- 43:37Speaker 3: No, all the same problems, just not as fun.
- 43:42Speaker 2: Right, So it obviously wasn't Antifa who set the fires,
- 43:48Speaker 2: and obviously no direct energy weapons were involved. It was
- 43:52Speaker 2: just a run of the mill eco terrorist.
- 43:55Speaker 3: Sure.
- 43:55Speaker 2: This is a quote from Maxim Bernie, fringe party leader
- 44:00Speaker 2: in Canada, and I nailed the pronunciation of his name.
- 44:04Speaker 2: Here goes you know.
- 44:05Speaker 3: I'm something of a maximum burnie er myself.
- 44:10Speaker 2: Here's this quote. I've got a good portion of the
- 44:13Speaker 2: wildfires raging across the country. We're started by green terrorists
- 44:18Speaker 2: who want to give their climate change campaign a little boost. Totally.
- 44:23Speaker 2: And there was also a TikTok video that made the
- 44:26Speaker 2: rounds in Canada that claimed these fires were set in
- 44:30Speaker 2: Nova Scotia on purpose to push a climate change agenda.
- 44:35Speaker 3: Sure, and the word nothing gets people on your side
- 44:38Speaker 3: like starting a giant fire.
- 44:40Speaker 2: Right Like wrecking the climate for a while, That really
- 44:44Speaker 2: gets the people on your side. The word echo terrorist
- 44:48Speaker 2: is getting thrown around a bunch in all of these
- 44:50Speaker 2: posts and comments. Right, And the issue here is that
- 44:54Speaker 2: they aren't even necessarily incorrect. For one thing, as we
- 44:59Speaker 2: record this, they don't I think, officially know the actual
- 45:03Speaker 2: cause of these fires. Sure, and there is a perfectly
- 45:06Speaker 2: good chance that they could have been set intentionally, or
- 45:12Speaker 2: they could have been set by humans accidentally, could have
- 45:15Speaker 2: been a motherfucker smoking it, could be an eco terrorist.
- 45:19Speaker 2: But the thing is, well, so what about that. That
- 45:21Speaker 2: doesn't mean the cabal is trying to burn everything to
- 45:25Speaker 2: the ground. It just means sometimes people start fires, like
- 45:29Speaker 2: a lot of the California wildfires are started by people.
- 45:33Speaker 2: But it's not a conspiracy theory.
- 45:35Speaker 3: The problem is that like careless inaction due to our
- 45:40Speaker 3: terrible climate can lead to a chain reaction that has
- 45:45Speaker 3: devastating consequences. Right, It's not like the weather. I mean,
- 45:49Speaker 3: obviously the weather can start wildfires. That happens all the time. Also,
- 45:54Speaker 3: but like, no one's saying it, you know, did it
- 45:56Speaker 3: on purpose?
- 45:57Speaker 2: It's just yeah, exactly, and there will be some that
- 46:01Speaker 2: are set on purpose. There have been plenty of California
- 46:05Speaker 2: wildfires that were arson. Yeah. Again, that doesn't make it
- 46:08Speaker 2: a government plot. That just makes it arson, and it.
- 46:11Speaker 3: Doesn't make it apot. It doesn't make it a plot
- 46:14Speaker 3: by climate activists or whatever.
- 46:17Speaker 2: Yeah, that would be a hard sell in terms of
- 46:21Speaker 2: a theory for me, because what's the endgame there? Like, yeah,
- 46:25Speaker 2: with climate activists, I don't know if the people push
- 46:28Speaker 2: in this eco terrorist theory realize this, but most of
- 46:32Speaker 2: the world agrees with them, yes, yes, just these fringe
- 46:37Speaker 2: types who are making up this specific theory who don't right,
- 46:41Speaker 2: and in what world is setting a fucking Canadian wildfire
- 46:45Speaker 2: going to change these motherfucker's minds right exactly? Like this
- 46:49Speaker 2: would accomplish nothing.
- 46:51Speaker 3: Yeah, Like I hate to break it to these guys,
- 46:53Speaker 3: but no one's trying to change their minds anymore. We're
- 46:56Speaker 3: just waiting for them to die. Yeah, It's that's really
- 47:00Speaker 3: all we can do at this point.
- 47:01Speaker 2: Yeah, it's become a lost cause. Yes, And so, as
- 47:05Speaker 2: we mentioned before, a lot of the speculation here involves
- 47:09Speaker 2: a video that shows a bunch of fires in Quebec
- 47:12Speaker 2: starting all at once and is that weird? No, it's
- 47:17Speaker 2: actually not that weird. This is a very brief explainer
- 47:21Speaker 2: video from the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. It is a meteorologist
- 47:28Speaker 2: explaining why it looks like these fires all started at once.
- 47:32Speaker 4: Here goes some of you may have seen it, the
- 47:34Speaker 4: visible satellite imagery looped so that it looks like all
- 47:37Speaker 4: the Quebec fires started at the same time. This is
- 47:39Speaker 4: actually really common imagery when it comes to lightning ignited wildfires,
- 47:44Speaker 4: and the explanation has everything to do with meteorology. So
- 47:47Speaker 4: when a front rolls through bringing those lightning strikes, that's
- 47:50Speaker 4: the spark for new fires. But those thunderstorms often come
- 47:53Speaker 4: with rain, so that means these fires are smoldering at first.
- 47:57Speaker 4: But because this year our fuels in this area were
- 48:00Speaker 4: so particularly dry, they can sort of hunger down until
- 48:04Speaker 4: the right trigger comes into play, and that trigger is
- 48:06Speaker 4: often daytime heating and the diurnal impacts of afternoon winds
- 48:10Speaker 4: kicking in. Once that dryness reaches that critical point, all
- 48:14Speaker 4: the fires are able to spread at the same time,
- 48:16Speaker 4: being picked up by the afternoon winds that supply oxygen.
- 48:20Speaker 4: It's those same winds that causes that smoke to spread.
- 48:23Speaker 2: So that was Joanna Wagstaff, meteorologist with CBC News, explaining
- 48:30Speaker 2: why your precious fucking video of five fires starting at
- 48:35Speaker 2: the same time Quebec are in fact not proof that
- 48:40Speaker 2: the cabal is shooting Jewish space lasers right Anada to
- 48:45Speaker 2: force you to move to a fifteen minute city.
- 48:48Speaker 3: Yeah, Olivia, you know I believe this. That makes sense.
- 48:53Speaker 3: I don't know what else to say. Like, and also,
- 48:57Speaker 3: like I wish I lived in a fifteen minute city, Jesus.
- 49:00Speaker 2: Yeah, it sounds amazing.
- 49:02Speaker 3: Have you ever looked at like a Dutch neighborhood? They're
- 49:05Speaker 3: fucking gorgeous.
- 49:06Speaker 2: Yeah. That's why, Like, even like a downtown area is
- 49:09Speaker 2: nice in some places because the way they construct them,
- 49:13Speaker 2: you got everything you fucking need. Yep, Madison, Wisconsin State Street.
- 49:17Speaker 2: That's got to be a fifteen minute yeah city and
- 49:20Speaker 2: a situation you know what sucks.
- 49:22Speaker 3: Everything fucking going places sucks. It sure does love to
- 49:26Speaker 3: be able to fucking have everything within a fifteen minute
- 49:29Speaker 3: walk of me.
- 49:30Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that would be nice, especially as a person
- 49:33Speaker 2: who doesn't have a driver's license exactly. I would love
- 49:37Speaker 2: to be able to walk everywhere. Absolutely, But in La
- 49:41Speaker 2: you can walk almost nowhere. It's great.
- 49:43Speaker 3: Yeah, it's awesome. Aren't you glad that the car companies
- 49:47Speaker 3: pushed out to all the public transportation?
- 49:49Speaker 2: Well it's because we're all right wingers here and we don't.
- 49:52Speaker 3: Yeah, totally.
- 49:53Speaker 2: We don't allow fifteen minute cities in California.
- 49:56Speaker 3: Cons Hollywood, So I think that's our episode.
- 50:00Speaker 2: We have exhausted all of the conspiracy theories about the
- 50:04Speaker 2: Canadian wildfires.
- 50:06Speaker 3: Talk about exhausted.
- 50:08Speaker 2: Yeah, exhausted is the exact right word for it. Olivia,
- 50:13Speaker 2: thank you so much for joining me as co host?
- 50:17Speaker 2: What do we have to plug before we get out here?
