- 1:03[SPEAKER_00]: Hello my wellness witches.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_00]: I'm your host Tecla.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_00]: This is Heal Yourself with the Law of Attraction.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_00]: And before we get into today's episode, I have something huge to share with you.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_00]: I created a brand new chat GPT prompt that will help you uncover the emotional roots behind your chronic symptoms.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_00]: And honestly, this is one of the most powerful tools I've ever put together.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_00]: It's not a journal prompt or a surface level reflection.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_00]: This is the exact type of process I use with my private clients to get to the real emotional patterns that keep your symptoms flaring, your body overloaded, and your mind stuck in fear.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_00]: It walks you step by step through the deeper questions your brain naturally never asks.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_00]: The ones that reveal why your body reacts the way it does, what emotional pressure you're holding, and what patterns you keep repeating without realizing it.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_00]: If you've ever thought, I know my symptoms are connected to something deeper, but I just don't know where to start.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_00]: This is where you start.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_00]: People are already telling me it's giving them
- 2:12[SPEAKER_00]: You can get it for free, head to the show notes the link is there for you.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_00]: Don't skip it, this is going to change everything about the way you understand illness.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_00]: Now I wanted to share a little update with you.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_00]: I've decided it's time for me to take a step back from all of my supplements and vitamins.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_00]: And it wasn't an easy call to make and I know so many of you listening probably have been through the same decision making process.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_00]: I've been feeling this wave of pill fatigue creeping in for months now.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_00]: And if you're not familiar with that term, it's basically the exhaustion that builds after years of taking handfuls of supplements, vitamins, or meds every single day.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_00]: You know they're helping.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_00]: You know they're supporting you.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_00]: But you're tired of the routine, the timing, the swallowing, the refills, the entire thing.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_00]: I've been a point now where I'm not on any prescribed medication, but over the past five years, I've been on a rotating list of supplements trying to support my body through healing.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_00]: I've slowly reduced them over time, but I've hit this point where the intention behind taking them feels draining.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_00]: It feels like a chore instead of something that genuinely supports me, and when that happens, I listen, because if the intention behind it feels heavy, my body feels heavy too.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_00]: This doesn't mean you should stop anything you're prescribed or medically need, that's not my message here.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_00]: For me, I feel like I brought my body back to a place where I can safely take a break.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_00]: Give myself six months, redo my blood work, and see where everything lands.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not announcing that I'm done with supplements forever, and I'm not anti-vitamin, I'm simply clearing the slate and giving my body a chance to recalibrate without constant outside input.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_00]: And yes, I have things on standby, I'm not being reckless, I'm just choosing to ship the energy around how I support myself.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_00]: This is the part I want you to take on for yourself because so often we fall into this trap of black and white thinking, especially in healing.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_00]: It's either I'm doing everything or I've stopped completely, or it's I'm fully committed or I failed.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_00]: And none of that is real.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_00]: Life doesn't work like that and healing definitely doesn't work like that.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_00]: We like neat little boxes because they make us feel safer, and they give us the illusion of control.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_00]: The boxes don't leave room for the truth, which is why everything is gray.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_00]: Gray is uncomfortable.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_00]: Gray asks us to trust ourselves more than we trust routines, rules or perfection.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_00]: But learning to exist in that gray space is one of the biggest skills you can build when you're healing.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_00]: Most women get stuck because they think they have to go from 0 to 100 overnight, and that feels too overwhelming.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_00]: It feels too risky.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_00]: If you go all in, you might fail and your
- 5:09[SPEAKER_00]: So, I'm doing this the same way I ask you to approach change, small shifts, not ripping the entire structure down in one day, not forcing myself into a new identity called Turkey.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_00]: Just asking myself each morning, what feels supportive today?
- 5:27[SPEAKER_00]: Some days the answer will be one supplement, some days it will be none and if I feel like I need something later, I'll take it.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_00]: It's not dramatic.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_00]: It's not all or nothing.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_00]: It's simply responding to my body in real time instead of following old rules out of fear.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_00]: And that's the mindset shift I want you to consider as we get into today's topic.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_00]: I wanted to talk about this today because
- 5:57[SPEAKER_00]: Your mind will always pull you toward what feels predictable.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_00]: Even if that predictable place is the very thing keeping you sick.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_00]: It's easier to stay in a familiar house than to move into a new one that might actually serve you.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_00]: Anything foreign feels like a risk and your mind is wired to avoid risk.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_00]: So even when your health isn't in a great spot or when life feels really hard,
- 6:27[SPEAKER_00]: The unknown feels out of your control.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_00]: And the moment something feels uncontrollable, your mind steps in trying to steer you away from any new decision, any new habit, any new step that would require you to stretch beyond the familiar.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_00]: This is the core blocker in identity shifting too.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_00]: If the version of you who's healthier and calmer feels foreign, your mind will try to keep you in the identity that feels known, even if it's painful.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_00]: And this is exactly why we need sustainable habits, because your mind will let you leap into and completely new lifestyle overnight.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_00]: It views that as a threat, but it will allow small, consistent shifts.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_00]: The tiny 1% changes that don't activate fear.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_00]: The incremental adjustments that don't trigger the danger signal in your brain.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_00]: Today I want to talk about how to build those sustainable habits when it comes to your health.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_00]: Because the reality is, transformation doesn't come from going from zero to 100.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_00]: It comes from the 1% changes that compound and quietly shift the entire direction of your life.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_00]: This is a concept I talked about before but never in detail.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_00]: I first learned this way of thinking from the book Atomic Habits.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_00]: If you haven't read it, read it.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_00]: I read over 100 self development books at this point and there are three that genuinely changed my life and this is one of them.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_00]: I know some of you are thinking, how is 1% going to make any freaking difference?
- 8:03[SPEAKER_00]: Let me pay you a little scenario.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_00]: A plane is headed from Los Angeles to Sydney.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_00]: The pilot sets the wrong course, but only by 1%.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_00]: At the very beginning of the journey, that 1% doesn't feel like a big deviation.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_00]: You're still headed mostly in the right direction.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_00]: But after thousands of miles, that tiny ship puts you completely off course.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_00]: You end up in the wrong country or circling the middle of the ocean.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_00]: That's exactly how I want you to look at the 1% change in your healing.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_00]: On the surface, it sounds insignificant and too small to even really matter.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_00]: But when you substitute miles for days, it becomes dramatic, because every 1% shift compounds.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_00]: Every 1% change builds on the lost.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_00]: If you change 1% of a routine every day, your morning routine, your evening routine, how you respond to symptoms, in 100 days, you've built a completely new habit.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_00]: And the best part about this is it's magnetic.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_00]: What I mean by that is the energy behind a tiny, manageable shift feels doable.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_00]: It gives you a quick win.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_00]: It builds confidence about overwhelming your system.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_00]: And when something feels doable, you're more motivated to keep going.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_00]: You're also likely to notice progress even if it's small, because you are judging yourself against huge, all or nothing expectations.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_00]: That progress becomes addictive.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_00]: When you start to see it, even that slight improvement in your mood, energy, or how you respond to your body, you want more.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_00]: The momentum pulls you forward.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_00]: And once you start aligning with the person you wanna be in tiny ways, you don't stop.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_00]: You don't wanna lose the progress you've built.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_00]: there will always be ups and downs.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_00]: Some days you'll feel unstoppable.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_00]: Other days you'll feel like the wind's been knocked out of you and that's normal.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_00]: What matters isn't the individual moment.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_00]: It's the overall trend.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_00]: I want you to imagine a graph with 100 data points, okay?
- 10:17[SPEAKER_00]: Some are high, some are low, but what matters isn't each individual point.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_00]: What matters is the trajectory of the line running through them.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_00]: Is the line moving upward overall?
- 10:32[SPEAKER_00]: If the answer is yes, then change is already happening and progress is inevitable.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_00]: It would go against the laws of this reality and the universal laws to believe that consistent incremental change doesn't shift anything.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_00]: That's not how life works.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_00]: And yes, your mind will put up a fight at first.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_00]: It's like you're at a debate tournament arguing for your future while your mind is arguing for your past.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_00]: It will try and convince you that the 1% doesn't matter.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to say there's no point.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_00]: It will highlight every piece of evidence that proves nothing is happening yet.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_00]: But the more you stick with the 1%, the more the scale's tip in your favor.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_00]: And it wants you to picture those old fashioned balance scales.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_00]: You know what the two plates?
- 11:19[SPEAKER_00]: Every time you choose the one procedure, adding another weight to your side.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_00]: And eventually, the scale shifts.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_00]: Not because of one big action, but because of consistent tiny ones that accumulate.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_00]: So when you're lying in bed thinking, I can't do this, I'm not seeing any progress.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_00]: Life feels too hard, 1% won't matter.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_00]: Picture the scale.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_00]: Ask yourself, did I add something?
- 11:47[SPEAKER_00]: Anything to my side today?
- 11:49[SPEAKER_00]: Did I do something that supported the direction I want to go?
- 11:54[SPEAKER_00]: We're playing the long game here, witches.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_00]: And some of you are going to feel like the outcome is intangible.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_00]: And I understand that.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_00]: It's one of the biggest challenges I have signing new clients because it's hard to sell a state of being when the person listening has never felt it.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_00]: But when I do sign them, I hear the same thing from more than 90% of the women I work with.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_00]: I wish I had started sooner, because they had no idea how loud their mind was and how defeated they felt or how much emotional weight they were carrying until they started shifting.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_00]: This inner exploration is not insurmountable.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot happening in your life.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_00]: I know that, but if you can find 1% to shift today, or even free up 1% of mental space to entertain this new
- 12:47[SPEAKER_00]: Now, I know you're thinking, okay, fine, I'll try the 1%, what does that actually look like in reality?
- 12:54[SPEAKER_00]: Let's use an example straight from atomic habits so you can really picture how small the 1% can be.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_00]: James Cleared talks about building a running habit and he explains it through what he calls the two minute rule.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_00]: The idea is that every new habit should be scaled down to something that takes under two minutes to do.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_00]: So 1% looks like this.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_00]: Day one, you put your running shoes on.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_00]: That's it.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_00]: You don't run.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_00]: You don't walk.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_00]: You just put them on.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_00]: Day two, you put on your running shoes and you step outside for a moment.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_00]: You can go right back in.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_00]: The action is stepping outside.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_00]: Day three, shoes on step outside, walk to the end of your driveway.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_00]: Day four, shoes on step outside, walk for two minutes.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_00]: Day five, shoes on step outside, walk for five minutes.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_00]: Are you starting to see it?
- 13:45[SPEAKER_00]: It looks ridiculous because it's so small, but this is how the brain builds trust with a new behavior.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_00]: You're never overwhelmed.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_00]: You're never trying to leap into a new identity overnight.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_00]: You're simply repeating tiny actions that feel safe and manageable and familiar.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_00]: And at some point, the tiny steps stop feeling like effort.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_00]: Your brain no longer fights you.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_00]: The next step just feels like the obvious thing to do.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_00]: That's the magnetic quality of the 1% shift.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_00]: Let's take this into real healing, because this is where the 1% shift becomes so powerful.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_00]: Day one, when a symptom shows up instead of going straight into fear or spiraling, you say one sentence.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_00]: My body is communicating, not attacking.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_00]: That's the first 1% shift.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_00]: One new thought.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_00]: day two, you say the sentence and you interrupt the spy role by asking yourself one grounding question.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_00]: Is this an emergency or is this a feeling?
- 14:48[SPEAKER_00]: You're not fixing anything, you're simply breaking the automatic fear response.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_00]: Day three, you say the sentence, you check in with your grounding question, and you remove one stressful thought from the pile.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_00]: Not all of them just one.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_00]: Here's an example.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not deciding what this means for my whole future right now in this moment.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_00]: Day 4 sentence grounding question remove one stressful thought and then shake your body physically for 30 seconds.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_00]: Arms hands legs doesn't matter.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_00]: This move the emotional charge your brain stops looping.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_00]: Day 5 you follow the same steps and then do one thing that physically anchors you back into your body.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_00]: This could be putting your hand on your chest, placing both feet on the ground or just sitting up tall, splashing some ice water in your face.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_00]: Something simple that signals, I'm here, I'm stable, and I'm safe.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_00]: So how does all of this tie into the universal laws and why do I bring them up every episode?
- 15:52[SPEAKER_00]: Because these tiny one-percent shifts aren't just habits, they're energetic choices.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_00]: And the universal laws explain why these choices start to change your reality long before you see the big results.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_00]: There are two laws I want you to think about here, and if you've been here a while, you know I weave them into everything for a reason.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_00]: The first is the law of cause and effect.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_00]: Every action you take, even the smallest one, sets something into motion.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_00]: Nothing is neutral, nothing is wasted.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_00]: When you shift one percent, you're creating a new cause, which means a new effect becomes inevitable.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_00]: The law of rhythm is the second one I want to talk about.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_00]: Healing doesn't move in a straight linear line.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_00]: It moves in cycles, high days, low days.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_00]: And when you're making tiny, consistent shifts, you stop fighting the rhythm and you start working with it.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_00]: You stay in motion even when the pace changes.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_00]: And this is why I talk about the Universal Laws every episode.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_00]: Not because they're spiritual concepts, but because they explain the mechanics behind why the work you do, even at 1% actually changes something inside you.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_00]: You're not hoping you're not guessing.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_00]: You're aligning yourself with how energy already works.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_00]: And when you understand that, the small steps finally make sense.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_00]: They stop feeling pointless, they stop feeling too small.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, witches.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_00]: Now remember that chatGBT prompt is in the show notes for you.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_00]: Go and grab it while you can.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_00]: That's all for today.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_00]: Peace love and mung beans.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_00]: See you in two weeks.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_00]: Bye.
