- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome to a meeting of the minds crafted from decades
- 0:05Speaker 1: of talk show experience, an extension of the magic they've
- 0:08Speaker 1: created together on radio in the phenomenon called M and
- 0:13Speaker 1: M Hot Topics in the News and Wisdom from Life.
- 0:16Speaker 1: It's Mark Davis and Mike Gallagher. This is eminem Extra.
- 0:22Speaker 2: For a Tuesday, the twenty eighth day of July. I'm
- 0:26Speaker 2: one of the m's, Mark Davison, Texas. The other M
- 0:28Speaker 2: is Mike Gallagher. He's in New York. Yesterday's in Florida.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Now we're going to South Carolina in a minute with
- 0:33Speaker 2: a great Joey Hudson covering the Lindsay Graham funeral.
- 0:36Speaker 3: No progress, time out, time out, We're going to DC.
- 0:40Speaker 3: We had a little bit, yeah, yeah, yeah, tomorrow tomorrow.
- 0:44Speaker 3: Things at these funerals, they take a whole lot of time.
- 0:47Speaker 3: Have you been watching some of the imagery of Lindsay's
- 0:52Speaker 3: I started the show this morning and I asked listeners,
- 0:56Speaker 3: I'll ask you, have you found yourself in the past
- 0:58Speaker 3: few days having to remind yourself that Linda Graham died.
- 1:02Speaker 3: It's like, well, good lord, he actually died. We'll never
- 1:04Speaker 3: see him on Meet the Press again. He's he's gone.
- 1:07Speaker 3: It's just an It's just he was such a fixture,
- 1:10Speaker 3: like in the every two three days we'd have something
- 1:12Speaker 3: Lindsey related, and it's just very weird and it's an
- 1:15Speaker 3: odd void that he is. Well. It's kind of a
- 1:17Speaker 3: sign of the times that a Fox News Channel personality,
- 1:21Speaker 3: Sean Hannity is going to be one of his speakers
- 1:24Speaker 3: at his eulogy today because he popped up on Shawn's
- 1:28Speaker 3: Show a Lot. It was almost they were going to
- 1:31Speaker 3: I always joked that they were going to re christen
- 1:34Speaker 3: the show in the in the spirit of Hannity and Colmes,
- 1:38Speaker 3: Hannity and Graham because Senator Lindsey Graham appeared on on
- 1:43Speaker 3: on Seawn's Show a Lot. President Trump is scheduled to speak,
- 1:47Speaker 3: and our own Joey Hudson is going to be in attendance. Mark,
- 1:50Speaker 3: this is a monumental day in the short new history
- 1:55Speaker 3: of eminem Extra. We're going to bring our first guest
- 2:00Speaker 3: into the podcast. I mean, Mark, this this is and look,
- 2:03Speaker 3: the audience needs to know. You got to run these
- 2:06Speaker 3: things by Mark Well in advance. I mean, his man
- 2:09Speaker 3: is very very particular about how we do this. So
- 2:13Speaker 3: this is a big deal to bring my pal Joey
- 2:16Speaker 3: Hudson into the mix today. But he's mark. He's at
- 2:18Speaker 3: National Cathedral in Washington, d C. Where you know, Senator
- 2:23Speaker 3: Graham is going to be memorialized today by anyboy.
- 2:26Speaker 2: I'm ready anytime you are. And then I got a
- 2:28Speaker 2: couple of observations about what we've seen, what we will
- 2:30Speaker 2: see yet to unfold an answer. National Cathedral is a
- 2:33Speaker 2: is a historic place. That Capitol Rotunda a historic place.
- 2:37Speaker 2: In fact, let me set up for sixty seconds. Well,
- 2:40Speaker 2: we'll bring joe in from from that. I saw him
- 2:42Speaker 2: on with you on the radio, in fact, on the
- 2:44Speaker 2: Salem News Channel feed. Lindsey Graham's casket flag drate casket
- 2:48Speaker 2: sits on that you see, You know that black rectangular
- 2:51Speaker 2: platform that a casket sits in that is called there's
- 2:54Speaker 2: a name for that. It is called a catafalic c
- 2:57Speaker 2: A T a f a l que. Little word that's
- 3:00Speaker 2: never used except for moments like this, and that particular
- 3:04Speaker 2: one is one they've used a lot. It was hastily
- 3:08Speaker 2: put together for Abraham Lincoln. Why it is the Lincoln cataflic.
- 3:13Speaker 2: It's been used for presidents and other dignitaries. Fence with
- 3:16Speaker 2: a of lane and state. And that's the very same
- 3:18Speaker 2: one from from Lo those many years ago, and so
- 3:22Speaker 2: is Rotunda and now National Cathedral and the state of
- 3:25Speaker 2: South Carolina that you and certainly Joey know well because
- 3:28Speaker 2: he has traveled from South Carolina to Washington to it
- 3:32Speaker 2: two joint areas. To split it up, split it up
- 3:35Speaker 2: into a three way thing. I just need to see
- 3:37Speaker 2: what this looks like visually here as we try to
- 3:39Speaker 2: here we go.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Let's let's bring Joey what this is the boy little
- 3:44Speaker 3: drum roll, first guest on the podcast, Joey Hudson outside
- 3:47Speaker 3: of the National Cathedral. And now, Joey, you you did
- 3:50Speaker 3: hear from the from Mark's rather verbose intro, he didn't
- 3:55Speaker 3: get the memo we got to get you in quick
- 3:57Speaker 3: and get out because you're in line and you got
- 3:59Speaker 3: to quickly get in to get your seat. But you
- 4:01Speaker 3: know Mark, Mark is, he is a man of many words.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Just stop it, Joey. Great to see you and literally
- 4:07Speaker 2: see there at the foot of the National Cathedral. What
- 4:10Speaker 2: a morning it's been.
- 4:12Speaker 4: Well that for sure. First, let me just say what
- 4:15Speaker 4: an honor it is to be on M and M
- 4:17Speaker 4: extra and to know that I'm the first guest. I mean, wow,
- 4:20Speaker 4: I've made it in broadcasting now to be able to
- 4:22Speaker 4: build deal.
- 4:23Speaker 3: So the check and the check and the check is
- 4:25Speaker 3: in the mail. I mean Mark is handling the paperwork
- 4:28Speaker 3: on that. But we'll get that off to you because
- 4:30Speaker 3: it's a hefty feet it's not it's not. We don't
- 4:32Speaker 3: do this cheaply.
- 4:33Speaker 4: This.
- 4:33Speaker 3: We don't do this on the cheap, do we, Mark,
- 4:35Speaker 3: And we don't welcome just anybody.
- 4:37Speaker 4: So the bar, well, it's an honor to be with you,
- 4:41Speaker 4: for sure.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Thanks, and Mark is right. What a morning so far?
- 4:45Speaker 3: His his remains. I always get this wrong. Mark wll
- 4:48Speaker 3: correct me. Lion state or lay in state?
- 4:51Speaker 2: Lion state Lie Lie is present tense. Yesterday he lay
- 4:56Speaker 2: in state and people have lane.
- 4:58Speaker 3: Lane okay, but today he was he well, today he
- 5:02Speaker 3: lay in state in.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Today he lies.
- 5:05Speaker 3: Yes, yes, he's not lying anymore. They moved in so
- 5:09Speaker 3: now they say he is now he lay he previously.
- 5:15Speaker 2: The Capitol rotunda exactly.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Oh, listen to the bells. Listen to that. That sounds cool, Joey.
- 5:19Speaker 3: Those are the bells are peeling at the National Theater.
- 5:22Speaker 3: Let's all, let's all stop for a minute, listenpe I
- 5:26Speaker 3: think he froze first. They stopped the bells stopped right
- 5:29Speaker 3: when because they heard they're they're watching the podcast, and
- 5:32Speaker 3: they stopped the bells right when I said, let's let's
- 5:35Speaker 3: let's listen to the bells.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Well, Joey, let me ask quite obviously, for anything like this,
- 5:39Speaker 2: what what's going to unfold is going to be a
- 5:41Speaker 2: lot of tributes, a lot of words. What you've experienced
- 5:45Speaker 2: in standing right there, I can only think of the
- 5:47Speaker 2: logistics of actually having this thing happen. It's a building
- 5:50Speaker 2: where President Trump is going to be if he's not already.
- 5:54Speaker 2: What was security like, what's the perimeter like? Just what's
- 5:56Speaker 2: it like to be there?
- 5:57Speaker 4: Well, as I talked about it, just observed all morning.
- 6:01Speaker 4: I got here pretty early this morning, and you know,
- 6:04Speaker 4: this is like any event where the president was going
- 6:06Speaker 4: to be. The security preimeter has set up several blocks
- 6:10Speaker 4: away from the cathedral, and a lot of the guests
- 6:14Speaker 4: who were here were lined up just after eight a m.
- 6:17Speaker 2: This morning.
- 6:17Speaker 4: Now, they did not actually open into eleven to start
- 6:20Speaker 4: letting people in, but there was a long line waiting
- 6:23Speaker 4: for that to open up. And you can kind of
- 6:26Speaker 4: see behind me as people are starting to come in.
- 6:28Speaker 4: The bulk of the people are already inside because they
- 6:30Speaker 4: did get here early and they wanted to get through security,
- 6:33Speaker 4: but there's large fences all around the area. Traffic was
- 6:37Speaker 4: horrible this morning trying to get here because the uber
- 6:41Speaker 4: driver wasn't expecting some of the roads to be closed.
- 6:43Speaker 4: But it's like anything where you have heads of state
- 6:47Speaker 4: gathering in one place, and it's been something to watch
- 6:49Speaker 4: for sure.
- 6:52Speaker 2: And Yahoo, you got the Zelenski Trump and I'll get
- 6:56Speaker 2: American dignitaries as well. So I can only presume this
- 6:59Speaker 2: is going to be quite question.
- 7:00Speaker 3: And a big contingent from South Carolina.
- 7:03Speaker 4: Joey, Yes, a lot of people from South Carolina. And
- 7:06Speaker 4: I'd like to go back to something Mark you said
- 7:08Speaker 4: just a minute ago, how it's just surreal to think
- 7:11Speaker 4: about that we do not have Lindsey Graham with us anymore.
- 7:14Speaker 4: A lot of the people that I have seen here
- 7:16Speaker 4: this morning, just a few weeks ago we were talking
- 7:19Speaker 4: about his campaign and getting to the primary, which he
- 7:22Speaker 4: won handily in June, and talking about November and winning
- 7:26Speaker 4: in November. The last time I interviewed Senator Graham was
- 7:29Speaker 4: just a few weeks before primary and he talked with
- 7:31Speaker 4: me about how excited he was to become a chairman
- 7:35Speaker 4: of the Judiciary Committee again and getting conservative judges on
- 7:38Speaker 4: the bench. So it's very surreal that we are now
- 7:40Speaker 4: at the National Cathedral to pay our respects and to
- 7:43Speaker 4: remember Lindsey Graham.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Cherish every day because you just never know what's what's
- 7:48Speaker 2: going to happen. You know, Mike knows South Carolina and
- 7:52Speaker 2: his roots in South Carolina. I've paid attention to it
- 7:54Speaker 2: for a long time. Joe, you are a voice in
- 7:57Speaker 2: South Carolina. I want to value in a remaining minutes,
- 8:01Speaker 2: can I just ask you something? I mean, I know,
- 8:02Speaker 2: here's the occasion where we're all thinking about Lindsay paying
- 8:05Speaker 2: tribute to him. The whole show moves to South Carolina
- 8:08Speaker 2: for him to be laid to rest tomorrow, and in
- 8:10Speaker 2: returning to the state, you'll return to a state that
- 8:13Speaker 2: has to move pretty darn quickly to replace him. Now,
- 8:16Speaker 2: Mike and I have talked about this, but you're spending
- 8:19Speaker 2: time on the ground obviously every day as a South Carolinian.
- 8:22Speaker 2: How is the whole Darlene thing going? Everybody our hearts
- 8:26Speaker 2: bleed for her, we pray for her, we lift her up,
- 8:29Speaker 2: But how's the whole Hey, I want the whole six
- 8:32Speaker 2: year terms. Suddenly she leads momentarily in the polls with
- 8:36Speaker 2: like in the twenties, but other people are right behind her.
- 8:38Speaker 2: It looks like a runoff seems guaranteed with Ralph Norman,
- 8:41Speaker 2: Russell Frye, others. Just what does the landscape look like
- 8:47Speaker 2: with the primary just a couple of weeks away.
- 8:49Speaker 4: Well, when Senator Darlene Graham filed for a full term
- 8:54Speaker 4: on Friday, it was the first time that she really
- 8:57Speaker 4: talked with the press, and that was very brief, and
- 8:59Speaker 4: she asked for grace as she remembers and honors and
- 9:02Speaker 4: lays her brother to rest this week. But look, things
- 9:06Speaker 4: are going to get started. They're going to get started quickly.
- 9:08Speaker 4: Next Monday is the first televised debate that is sanctioned
- 9:12Speaker 4: by the South Carolina GOP. Then two weeks later there'll
- 9:17Speaker 4: be other for them. So you know, quickly she's going
- 9:19Speaker 4: to have to come out and start campaigning. You reference
- 9:21Speaker 4: the poll that was released yesterday. She did have just
- 9:25Speaker 4: over twenty percent in that Ralph woman second with just
- 9:28Speaker 4: over sixteen percent. Interesting, Mike, my friend and yours Lieutenant Governor.
- 9:32Speaker 4: Pamela Evatt was third in that poll. Although she has
- 9:35Speaker 4: not announced whether she's running, most likely will not, as
- 9:39Speaker 4: in the filing period literally is closing right now as
- 9:43Speaker 4: we speak. I expect to see her in there some
- 9:46Speaker 4: of the others. Mark Sandford, former governor, he was down
- 9:49Speaker 4: the list with just over seven percent. But the interesting
- 9:52Speaker 4: thing is with that Sandford had the largest negative rating.
- 9:57Speaker 4: He had over thirty percent of people who and you
- 10:00Speaker 4: when you talked about Mark Sandford, dey buted him negatively.
- 10:04Speaker 4: Now Darlen Graham, they viewed her very positively, but there
- 10:08Speaker 4: was a thirty percent percentage of folks who just say,
- 10:12Speaker 4: I do not know her. I want to learn more
- 10:14Speaker 4: about her. I want to know how she stands on
- 10:16Speaker 4: the positions. Then I'll decide if in fact i'll cast
- 10:19Speaker 4: my vote. So that's going to be the challenge, and
- 10:21Speaker 4: I suspect over the coming weeks we're going to be
- 10:23Speaker 4: introduced to Darlen Graham by with a lot of media,
- 10:26Speaker 4: a lot of social media, a lot of TV ads,
- 10:29Speaker 4: a lot of radio ads. Because although it'll be tough
- 10:33Speaker 4: for her to raise a lot of money quickly, there
- 10:35Speaker 4: are a lot of superpacks out there. I support. We'll
- 10:37Speaker 4: get behind her.
- 10:38Speaker 3: Well, Joey, I know you got to scramble to get
- 10:40Speaker 3: in and get your seat of the National Cathedral. We
- 10:42Speaker 3: appreciate very much you checking in. As the bells are
- 10:45Speaker 3: peeling in the background and they congratulations on being the
- 10:49Speaker 3: very first M and M Extra podcast.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Top that, everybody, top that joy, Thank you, safe travels.
- 10:56Speaker 3: All right, thank you guys. Thanks Joey, appreciate it so much.
- 11:00Speaker 3: That's pretty good. Kind of neat to have our first guest, and.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Well he needed is just he fired up his iPhone
- 11:07Speaker 2: in front of his face and boom, you're on the show.
- 11:09Speaker 3: Yeah, it's not hard. I mean, it's it's a little technology,
- 11:12Speaker 3: a little trickier these days than it used to be.
- 11:14Speaker 3: But hey, there's a technology in. One of our newest
- 11:17Speaker 3: sponsors here on the M and M Extra is Echel
- 11:19Speaker 3: echel dot com. How and the stars of Duck Dynasty,
- 11:23Speaker 3: Willie and Corey Robertson, have teamed up with Eckel, creating
- 11:26Speaker 3: a brand new, one of a kind streaming platform built
- 11:29Speaker 3: around faith and family and mark like you both we
- 11:32Speaker 3: both learned. They didn't just lend their name to it.
- 11:35Speaker 3: They helped build this new platform from the ground up
- 11:38Speaker 3: pretty neat, huh.
- 11:39Speaker 2: They decided that they're going to take their Everybody has
- 11:41Speaker 2: a brand, and the Robertson brand is good humor, good values,
- 11:47Speaker 2: entertainment of shows and podcasts, and that's what it's. It's shows,
- 11:52Speaker 2: it's movies, it's podcasts, all safe for the family, uplifting.
- 11:56Speaker 2: A lot of it very faith based, specifically faith based,
- 11:59Speaker 2: but others just stories that could be told without you know,
- 12:02Speaker 2: freaking out your nine year old or having mom and
- 12:04Speaker 2: dad have to worry about what the kids are watching.
- 12:06Speaker 2: It's stuff the family can gab it together and see
- 12:08Speaker 2: at echel e k k L e k k l

- 12:26Speaker 3: I know of one that you never know.
- 12:28Speaker 2: We can try to shoehorn our way onto the Eckle.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Well listen, after yesterdays, I don't think Eckle will have us.
- 12:34Speaker 3: No kidding, No, it's kidding.
- 12:38Speaker 2: It's too tense, it's too blue, it's too dark. Well,
- 12:41Speaker 2: we're just people. Of faith and people of value. But
- 12:43Speaker 2: you know, just just keep it real. My brother in
- 12:46Speaker 2: a while, we keep it real. E kk L dot com,
- 12:50Speaker 2: Echo dot com. Sign up today, get ready to be
- 12:52Speaker 2: part of something better. And speaking of something better, how
- 12:56Speaker 2: day two of your Relief Factor usage? Right? I know,
- 12:59Speaker 2: so I've got the packets, got everything. It's the easiest
- 13:01Speaker 2: thing in the world if there's any kind of supplement
- 13:03Speaker 2: that you're going to do in Relief Factor is about
- 13:05Speaker 2: these little aches and pains that you just think are
- 13:07Speaker 2: a part of life. Hey, maybe not. I've heard about
- 13:10Speaker 2: relief Factor for only about one hundred years. I mean
- 13:12Speaker 2: I've been at Salem forever and everybody's doing Relief Factor spots,
- 13:16Speaker 2: and I thought, Okay, I don't really have a pain
- 13:18Speaker 2: issue to speak of. And then a couple of years ago,
- 13:21Speaker 2: just throwing the tennis balls with the dogs in the backyard.
- 13:25Speaker 2: You know, my major league pitching release is not what
- 13:28Speaker 2: it once was, and there's a little rotator cuff hitch
- 13:31Speaker 2: and it's not anything that I need to open up
- 13:33Speaker 2: and get a shoulder replacement or anything for it, but
- 13:35Speaker 2: it's just bugging me. And I thought, wouldn't it be
- 13:37Speaker 2: neat if there's something I could take where it wouldn't
- 13:39Speaker 2: bug me anymore. So we're gonna find out. We're going
- 13:42Speaker 2: to see if relief Factor works for me. I'm going
- 13:45Speaker 2: to give it some days here the three week quick start,
- 13:47Speaker 2: and I will report reliably back to you and see
- 13:49Speaker 2: if I can join the legions of people who have
- 13:52Speaker 2: been helped by a relief factor.
- 13:53Speaker 3: And if you want to be the next Mark Davis,
- 13:55Speaker 3: you can go to relief Factor dot com or call
- 13:57Speaker 3: eight hundred the number four Relief. The three week quick
- 14:00Speaker 3: Start is only seventeen seventy six in honor of America's
- 14:03Speaker 3: two hundred and fiftieth Call eight hundred and four Relief
- 14:06Speaker 3: or go to relief Factor dot com. It's one hundred
- 14:09Speaker 3: percent drug free Pain Relief goes right to work on
- 14:11Speaker 3: the inflammation that causes pain to begin with, and it's
- 14:15Speaker 3: it's a great, great product, as I think Mark is
- 14:17Speaker 3: going to find out. So look, it looks forward to it.
- 14:19Speaker 3: Glad to give you on the team. Let's give it
- 14:21Speaker 3: a couple of weeks. Relief Factor dot com or call
- 14:23Speaker 3: eight hundred the number four Relief. We did need to
- 14:25Speaker 3: get Joey kind of in and out because he had
- 14:27Speaker 3: he has to the logistics of getting into the cathedral.
- 14:30Speaker 3: But I wanted you to continue some of your thoughts
- 14:32Speaker 3: about this whole process, and we kind of cut you short.
- 14:35Speaker 4: There.
- 14:36Speaker 2: No, No, it's okay, as he was, and I was,
- 14:39Speaker 2: that's kind of funny. I've always sitting here think about
- 14:41Speaker 2: you know, too soon, and I always think about optics
- 14:43Speaker 2: standing out in front of it. I mean, the body's
- 14:45Speaker 2: scarcely cold. We're asking about, you know, how Darlene and
- 14:47Speaker 2: all the other people are going to be doing. But
- 14:49Speaker 2: that's that's what people are thinking about. And in thinking
- 14:52Speaker 2: about this, I've got a I'm not going to put
- 14:56Speaker 2: it rise it to the lofty level of a prediction.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Lord knows, that's how these days. But in looking at
- 15:02Speaker 2: that poll, and it's just the first of what will
- 15:04Speaker 2: be some polls in the coming days, this is moving
- 15:07Speaker 2: so quickly, and I love how quickly it's moving. You
- 15:09Speaker 2: don't have to wait six months to get an answer
- 15:12Speaker 2: to this question. The poll comes out, lots of people
- 15:15Speaker 2: in the poll, and Darlene has about twenty some percent,
- 15:18Speaker 2: and Ralph Norman, Ralph Norman right behind her. But if
- 15:22Speaker 2: you take a look at everybody else, what it really
- 15:25Speaker 2: winds up as and there's a lot of I don't
- 15:27Speaker 2: know and undecided. I think that if the primary, which
- 15:31Speaker 2: is August eleventh, I think it's going to come down
- 15:34Speaker 2: to kind of a referendum on Darlene in a way.
- 15:36Speaker 2: And by that I mean the voters are going to
- 15:38Speaker 2: be asked, do you or do you not want Lindsey's sister.
- 15:42Speaker 2: They're going to be people who do, and they're going
- 15:44Speaker 2: to be people who don't. People who don't have to
- 15:46Speaker 2: figure out which other person will be Ralph Norman, Pamelavit
- 15:49Speaker 2: if she runs, you know, Mark Sandford, if it really
- 15:52Speaker 2: is a Darlene or not Darlene binary choice, I think
- 15:58Speaker 2: not Darlene is going to prove and that while it
- 16:01Speaker 2: might be one of those runoffs where she ends up
- 16:03Speaker 2: with thirty percent and Ralph Norman ends up with you
- 16:09Speaker 2: twenty two, but then everybody other than Ralph is gonna lie.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Those are people who by definition did not want Darlene,
- 16:17Speaker 2: and they're going to wind up backing Ralph or whoever
- 16:19Speaker 2: else the second place person is, and she will ultimately
- 16:22Speaker 2: not prevail in the runoff on the twenty fifth. Well,
- 16:25Speaker 2: my thought based on Earth.
- 16:26Speaker 3: There's two lanes and I'm very mindful of the two
- 16:29Speaker 3: lanes that kind of go down the highway of life.
- 16:34Speaker 3: We got the talk radio podcast active audience lane, and
- 16:40Speaker 3: then you got kind of everybody else. Because the most
- 16:43Speaker 3: peculiar thing has happened. In all the years I've been
- 16:46Speaker 3: doing this, there isn't a day that went by when
- 16:49Speaker 3: I wouldn't get blasted for even talking about Lindsey Graham.
- 16:52Speaker 3: The hate, the disagreement from South Carolinians. Now bear in mind,
- 16:58Speaker 3: the people who disagreed with him, they felt that he
- 17:00Speaker 3: was all about amnesty. They felt that he was, you know,
- 17:03Speaker 3: sort of part of the you know, deep state if
- 17:06Speaker 3: you will. They But yet every single time he was
- 17:11Speaker 3: up for reelection, it was a landslide. It wasn't even close.
- 17:15Speaker 3: Nobody has ever successfully mounted a challenge over the years
- 17:19Speaker 3: against Senator Lindsay Graham. So there we go to those
- 17:21Speaker 3: two lanes. I think we're a little bit insulated in
- 17:24Speaker 3: our world because people tend to be more engaged, more active,
- 17:29Speaker 3: more informed. But most people just know Lindsey Graham is
- 17:33Speaker 3: our senator, and they they stuck by him through thick
- 17:37Speaker 3: and thin, and I and you could be right, on
- 17:40Speaker 3: the other hand, if that same dynamic applies. Well, most
- 17:44Speaker 3: South Carolinians are going to say, Darlene Graham is good
- 17:48Speaker 3: enough for us. She's his little sister. She's carrying on
- 17:52Speaker 3: his legacy, which, by the way, if you're in our lane,
- 17:56Speaker 3: that's not maybe such a great idea if you're not
- 17:59Speaker 3: in favor for a forwards or you're not more of
- 18:01Speaker 3: a warhawk like Senator Graham was. But if you're in
- 18:04Speaker 3: the other lane, where the average you know, I used
- 18:08Speaker 3: to use this phrase all the time, and Joe and
- 18:11Speaker 3: Mary beer Can of South Carolina. If Joe and Mary
- 18:14Speaker 3: beer Can of South Carolina are just saying, hey, I'm
- 18:16Speaker 3: going to go vote, pull the lever for Darlene. Maybe
- 18:20Speaker 3: she wins. The polls are suggesting Mark that she's going
- 18:23Speaker 3: to win.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Well, I don't know. I don't know if coming out
- 18:26Speaker 2: coming out first in a poll that contains eight people
- 18:30Speaker 2: suggests she's.
- 18:31Speaker 3: Going You mean in general?
- 18:33Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, Well, no, whoever the Republican nominee is is
- 18:37Speaker 2: going to win the general in his South Carolina. No
- 18:39Speaker 2: Democrat has a chance to be Lindsey Graham's successor. But
- 18:43Speaker 2: this is a really high mountain for her to climb.
- 18:45Speaker 2: She's going to have to do really great. God, Joe,
- 18:48Speaker 2: you mentioned a debate on Monday night voof but she's
- 18:51Speaker 2: going to.
- 18:52Speaker 3: Be at that debate. I forgot. I didn't I should
- 18:54Speaker 3: have followed up. I think she will better. She has
- 18:57Speaker 3: not please but Mark. But that's part of the course
- 19:00Speaker 3: she has to. But that's part of the problem. I
- 19:02Speaker 3: had a caller today say that that Tara, the morning
- 19:05Speaker 3: host on our station in South Carolina, said that I
- 19:09Speaker 3: don't know if this is true. I tried to track
- 19:10Speaker 3: it down, claim that Darlene said, I'm not answering any
- 19:15Speaker 3: political questions until next Thursday out of please respect me
- 19:20Speaker 3: for my grieving process. Now it just hit me. I
- 19:23Speaker 3: wonder if the caller got that confused with maybe this
- 19:26Speaker 3: like day after tomorrow.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Maybe because if there's a debate, you've got to be
- 19:29Speaker 2: there for the debate. And that's kind of Yeah. You
- 19:31Speaker 2: mentioned Tara, who I really if I were driving around,
- 19:33Speaker 2: I'd be listening to that morning show because she's great
- 19:36Speaker 2: and her and her posts are great. She I won't
- 19:39Speaker 2: say she does. Nobody dislikes Darlene. It's just no Tara, no, no, no, no, no,
- 19:44Speaker 2: Tara didn't like Darlene. Okay, actively doesn't like her or
- 19:48Speaker 2: is just hesitant to embrace her as the automatic success.
- 19:51Speaker 3: I don't think she likes her well, I mean, I
- 19:54Speaker 3: think she's very suspicious and cynical of what whether she's
- 19:57Speaker 3: a conservative or not, which is very.
- 19:59Speaker 2: Valid, of course, it's very valid.
- 20:02Speaker 3: And so we don't know anything about her.
- 20:04Speaker 2: No, And that's why there are a lot of people
- 20:06Speaker 2: you mentioned in describing the Lindsay phenomenon where you could
- 20:11Speaker 2: fill up the phone lines in South Carolina or from
- 20:14Speaker 2: South Carolinians on your national talk show with all kinds
- 20:17Speaker 2: of people saying, Lindsay's got to go. We're going to
- 20:19Speaker 2: primary Lindsay, and they never come close. You know what.
- 20:22Speaker 2: That's also called John Cornyn forever until this year, for
- 20:26Speaker 2: years and years and years, from two to eight to
- 20:30Speaker 2: fourteen to twenty. Well, Mark, this is the year Cornon
- 20:35Speaker 2: goes down and said, yep, sure, And because I knew
- 20:37Speaker 2: there was never enough people, because you know what, the
- 20:40Speaker 2: Mark Davis rule of primaries, nobody's going to succeed in
- 20:43Speaker 2: a primary unless there is a desire to fire the incumbent.
- 20:48Speaker 2: This year in Texas finally arose the desire to fire
- 20:52Speaker 2: John Cornyn. There was never a broad desire to fire
- 20:55Speaker 2: Lindsay Graham. I don't know how much of that translates
- 20:58Speaker 2: to instant excceps ability of Darlene. I think there's a
- 21:01Speaker 2: large number of South Carolinians who've been all in for Lindsey,
- 21:05Speaker 2: love Darlene, pray for her, wish her well, but go
- 21:09Speaker 2: I don't know when it comes to a full six
- 21:11Speaker 2: year two.
- 21:12Speaker 3: Well, we're gonna wait and see. You're right, we're weeks
- 21:14Speaker 3: away from getting the answer to that question. As we
- 21:17Speaker 3: kind of roll along here, lots of lots of comments
- 21:19Speaker 3: incidentally on the live in the the chat room, uh
- 21:23Speaker 3: and uh, you know Palm Coast Florida checking in and Granbury,
- 21:27Speaker 3: Texas is in there, so come on in and join us.
- 21:30Speaker 3: The water is fine if you want to chat as
- 21:32Speaker 3: you're watching on YouTube. There is a live chat feature
- 21:36Speaker 3: that we like and I'm I'm more focused on it
- 21:39Speaker 3: than Mark is because I'm.
- 21:41Speaker 2: I'm meaning you are the bag attend you do it.
- 21:44Speaker 2: I just don't. I sometimes I'll glint. I'm old and
- 21:47Speaker 2: I'm blind in my laptop. Well, you got it, and
- 21:50Speaker 2: you have an imax.
- 21:51Speaker 3: I know I'm watched it. I caught myself last night.
- 21:54Speaker 3: You know how long I was scrolling doom scrolling on
- 21:56Speaker 3: social media, four and a half hours.
- 22:00Speaker 2: To do I know, Mark, take a walk, breathe the
- 22:02Speaker 2: aw you're living Florida for.
- 22:04Speaker 3: Touch grass, Go walk on the beach. I'm telling you,
- 22:06Speaker 3: I got a bobbies man. But then the text are
- 22:09Speaker 3: the same way like I watch them, I see what
- 22:11Speaker 3: the comments are, and of course I'm also ready to
- 22:13Speaker 3: block anybody gets in there, gets out of line. Boom.
- 22:15Speaker 2: Well, I love these people. This is fantastic. I love
- 22:18Speaker 2: that people are, you know, plugged in and not just
- 22:20Speaker 2: watching but engaging. I kind of feel and maybe I'm
- 22:23Speaker 2: wrong about this, and maybe this is a question that
- 22:26Speaker 2: can be asked to the people there in the sidebar.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Are you really trying to get our attention? Because God
- 22:31Speaker 2: knows you can get Mikey, No, are you just kind
- 22:33Speaker 2: of sort of talking to each other?
- 22:34Speaker 3: They're talking to each other because I get I get
- 22:37Speaker 3: my feelings hurt every day I check in and I
- 22:39Speaker 3: say hi, everybody, I'm here. I'm checking in, and nobody
- 22:43Speaker 3: answers me. Nobody responds, they don't care. It's crickets. So no,
- 22:46Speaker 3: they're talking to each other. They they they're I guess
- 22:48Speaker 3: they're watching and listening to us, but they're commenting to
- 22:52Speaker 3: each other because obviously, now maybe if you got in,
- 22:55Speaker 3: Oh boy, Mark's in there, you gotta teach you how
- 22:59Speaker 3: to we uptown. Now you got to log in, You
- 23:01Speaker 3: got to log in and all that. It's a whole
- 23:04Speaker 3: it's a whole process. Hey, let's let's take some time
- 23:07Speaker 3: Mark to talk about something that I think is a
- 23:10Speaker 3: remarkable revelation. Senator Ran Paul did something I didn't expect.
- 23:16Speaker 3: He revealed pages of doctor Anthony Fauci's diary. Now, let's
- 23:22Speaker 3: walk through that for just a moment before we get
- 23:24Speaker 3: to the contents of the die. Huh, that's not I mean,
- 23:29Speaker 3: what was it.
- 23:30Speaker 2: It's not a it's not a diary like a teenage
- 23:32Speaker 2: girl has extemporaneous notes. No, no, it's a journal. He's
- 23:37Speaker 2: a government employee, put it on a government server in
- 23:40Speaker 2: his government job, and that and that made it available
- 23:44Speaker 2: to congressional oversight. And now it's not like we managed
- 23:47Speaker 2: to break into Fauci's house and get his most private thoughts,
- 23:51Speaker 2: but we sure did get his innermost thoughts. It's bad,
- 23:53Speaker 2: aren't they something? It's bad. It's really really bad. The
- 23:56Speaker 2: guy was revealed as a total megalomaniac. The guy has
- 24:00Speaker 2: been exposed as somebody who is obsessed with his coverage.
- 24:05Speaker 2: And let's take a little look Graby and our friends
- 24:08Speaker 2: with Graby and put together a montage of what it
- 24:11Speaker 2: sounded and looked like when Anthony Fauci was making the
- 24:15Speaker 2: media rounds as a mister, don't deny me. I'm the science.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Mister science, I am the science. To deny me, as
- 24:22Speaker 2: to deny so here he is.
- 24:24Speaker 3: This is what the media did, and I would submit
- 24:27Speaker 3: as you hear and watch this, the media is every
- 24:30Speaker 3: bit is incomplicit as the of the scoundrel that is
- 24:35Speaker 3: Anthony Fauci as he is himself. Check this out.
- 24:39Speaker 5: The single most respected voice on the pandemic. It's doctor
- 24:42Speaker 5: Anthony Fauci, the man.

- 26:04Speaker 6: your time to help us understand what is going on.
- 26:07Speaker 6: You know a lot of people have a lot of questions,

- 26:23Speaker 5: It's always an honor to have time with you.
- 26:24Speaker 2: Thanks for being here.
- 26:25Speaker 5: Good enough for you, sir, It's good enough for me
- 26:27Speaker 5: and my family. So thank you, doctor.
- 26:29Speaker 2: Faucher, Doctor Fauci, thank you for keeping it straight.
- 26:32Speaker 3: Thank you for fighting the good fight.
- 26:34Speaker 5: I'm sincerely appreciative that you are not walking away from
- 26:36Speaker 5: this post. You make us smarter and safer and better
- 26:40Speaker 5: every day.
- 26:40Speaker 2: Thank you so much, doctor Fauci. Dear oh, we have
- 26:50Speaker 2: to we have edited out these Savannah at the end,
- 26:53Speaker 2: just to be nice to her.
- 26:56Speaker 3: Lord.
- 26:56Speaker 2: That was crazy.
- 26:58Speaker 3: They're all journalists. Have you ever heard of or seen
- 27:02Speaker 3: a figure that was so revered by supposedly objective journalists.
- 27:08Speaker 3: Those aren't a bunch of talk show hosts.
- 27:11Speaker 2: No, and and respect and appreciation are fine as far
- 27:15Speaker 2: as they go for someone who's going to come on
- 27:17Speaker 2: and share information in a time when information was needed.
- 27:21Speaker 2: But you can't help but think that the fawning and
- 27:25Speaker 2: and the the gushing was because they knew exactly what
- 27:29Speaker 2: he represented, an authoritarian takeover of our schools, our businesses,
- 27:35Speaker 2: and our lives. And they love it. But they were lying.
- 27:39Speaker 2: I mean, what's crazy is and I told you this
- 27:43Speaker 2: this morning. I looked this up on last night when
- 27:46Speaker 2: when when I was researching a little bit, it was
- 27:49Speaker 2: revealed in these, in these, in this journal that he
- 27:52Speaker 2: and his team believed that the fatality rate in America
- 27:56Speaker 2: would be about zero point two or zero point two
- 28:00Speaker 2: three percent, which incidentally is like a pretty bad flu season.
- 28:05Speaker 2: That's it's But then a couple weeks later he goes
- 28:08Speaker 2: and testifies all one to two maybe three percent, and
- 28:12Speaker 2: people are saying, wait a minute, three percent of us
- 28:14Speaker 2: are gonna get wiped out, We're gonna die from COVID.
- 28:17Speaker 2: And then I looked at up last night. The total
- 28:19Speaker 2: was zero point three percent so so Mark. If Americans
- 28:24Speaker 2: were saying, could who had the ability to say, you
- 28:26Speaker 2: know what, I'm gonna take my chances. I'm gonna go.
- 28:29Speaker 2: I have a ninety nine point ninety seven percent likelihood
- 28:33Speaker 2: not to die from this thing. I'm not gonna destroy
- 28:37Speaker 2: my livelihood. I'm not gonna lay stay locked in the
- 28:40Speaker 2: den for the next six months. I'm not going to
- 28:42Speaker 2: refuse to go to the supermarket. Blah blah blah. But
- 28:45Speaker 2: this guy, he lied, He lied. Here's Brett. Here's Brit
- 28:51Speaker 2: Hume on Fox News with Brett Bear last night, pointing
- 28:54Speaker 2: out more than this, the personality grotesqueness of how he
- 28:59Speaker 2: was so into being a celebrity. And I'm famous, and
- 29:01Speaker 2: old Barbara Streisand is talking to me, and women are
- 29:04Speaker 2: yelling at me as I walked down the street all
- 29:06Speaker 2: that came out of this diary. And look at all
- 29:08Speaker 2: these governors, look at all these mayors and governors shutting
- 29:11Speaker 2: things down just because of words.
- 29:13Speaker 3: I say, yeah, because how meaningful my words are. And
- 29:17Speaker 3: of course publicly, I didn't shut anything down. Privately he
- 29:20Speaker 3: was telling them all to lock it down. He's a liar,
- 29:23Speaker 3: he's a fraud. And Brit Hume you know, sort of
- 29:27Speaker 3: opined about all this with Brett Barr last night on
- 29:30Speaker 3: Fox News.
- 29:31Speaker 8: There is Brett, and it reveals two things really. One
- 29:34Speaker 8: of them is that Fauci didn't really believe the stuff
- 29:37Speaker 8: that he was saying in terms of the origin of
- 29:40Speaker 8: the disease. And he also didn't He's also denied repeatedly,
- 29:46Speaker 8: and we've seen it in television interviews and so on,
- 29:48Speaker 8: that he was urging any shutdowns. These documents prove otherwise.
- 29:52Speaker 8: He brags about getting New York City to shut down
- 29:55Speaker 8: its schools and so on, about getting California to do
- 29:58Speaker 8: the same thing. So he was very much an architect
- 30:01Speaker 8: of what you may remember me calling back at the
- 30:03Speaker 8: time Brat I called it the worst public policy decision
- 30:05Speaker 8: in my lifetime. And I think it was, and I
- 30:08Speaker 8: think it's made in some ways even worse now knowing
- 30:11Speaker 8: what we know about what Founci was really thinking, and
- 30:14Speaker 8: about how much time he spent and his diaries talking
- 30:18Speaker 8: about how famous he'd become and all the glorification he
- 30:21Speaker 8: was getting in the news media, and how palsy a
- 30:24Speaker 8: lot of news media people had gotten with him.
- 30:27Speaker 3: Yeah, Mark, is it fair? Is it fair to say
- 30:31Speaker 3: we'll never make those same mistakes again.
- 30:34Speaker 2: Well, I would love to think so. At the close
- 30:37Speaker 2: of my radio show today, I said, there are two
- 30:39Speaker 2: things that we're trying to do at the same time.
- 30:40Speaker 2: We're trying to forget COVID ever happened, but we also
- 30:44Speaker 2: want to remind ourselves to never forget what was done
- 30:47Speaker 2: to us when COVID happened. And they seem to be
- 30:50Speaker 2: at cross purposes. I would love to think that we've
- 30:54Speaker 2: learned the lesson. I'd love to think that this has
- 30:56Speaker 2: burned into our consciousness to where we will never allow
- 30:59Speaker 2: these people to take the liberties they took without rising
- 31:02Speaker 2: up against it. But then I think about the country,
- 31:06Speaker 2: and I think about our society and how forgiving we are,
- 31:08Speaker 2: how forgetful we are, how stupid we can sometimes be
- 31:11Speaker 2: across vast cross sections of America. And I don't know,
- 31:15Speaker 2: if enough time goes by and the next pandemic seems
- 31:18Speaker 2: bad enough, and we have authoritarians who are skilled enough
- 31:22Speaker 2: and treacherous enough, I wouldn't put it past.
- 31:24Speaker 3: Well, it's going to be. It's going to be glorious
- 31:28Speaker 3: to watch Fauci appear before Congress tomorrow.
- 31:32Speaker 2: That's tomorrow, tomorrow. In the Senate Dirkson Building Room SD
- 31:37Speaker 2: three forty two. I think it's slated to get going.
- 31:40Speaker 2: It's gonna be a long it's going to be a
- 31:42Speaker 2: long day. It's going to seem like a long day.
- 31:45Speaker 2: I hope for doctor Fauci. I think eight thirty Eastern,
- 31:47Speaker 2: seven thirty nine times we should be able to cover
- 31:49Speaker 2: in our respective radio shows all kinds of highlights of
- 31:53Speaker 2: Rand Paul face to face with doctor Fauci. It get
- 31:57Speaker 2: your popcorn well.
- 31:58Speaker 3: And Rand Paul has our already said that the Sleezy
- 32:03Speaker 3: preemptive pardon that he got from Sleezy Biden won't apply
- 32:09Speaker 3: if Fauci lies tomorrow under oath. So where this is
- 32:13Speaker 3: going to really have some teeth, where this thing is
- 32:16Speaker 3: going to really matter is you've got to keep your
- 32:18Speaker 3: eye on what he says, because if he lies about anything,
- 32:23Speaker 3: the pardon doesn't apply. That's for stuff that he did
- 32:28Speaker 3: prior to a day like tomorrow. And so look, he
- 32:33Speaker 3: is facing a perilous interrogation by Ran Paul and others
- 32:38Speaker 3: tomorrow on Capitol Hill.
- 32:41Speaker 2: He is, and he's going to be meticulous and detailed
- 32:46Speaker 2: in his use of language. Both you and I could
- 32:48Speaker 2: fill up blines with people who thrill to the idea
- 32:51Speaker 2: of a heavy iron bar closing behind Anthony Fauci as
- 32:54Speaker 2: he wears orange pajamas. I think that's an extremely steep climb.
- 33:00Speaker 2: I would bet against ever seeing That doesn't mean it can't.
- 33:04Speaker 2: I don't mean it's impossible, but there's there's there's like a gradation.
- 33:08Speaker 2: Is somebody lying, yeah, probably, Can you find a contradiction
- 33:11Speaker 2: between this and this?
- 33:12Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 33:12Speaker 2: Probably? Can they chalk it up to an honest mistake?
- 33:15Speaker 2: They can try. But then at the time, the uppermost
- 33:18Speaker 2: of that where you really get to somebody being convicted
- 33:21Speaker 2: of something, is something that's provable, actionable, prosecutable, and the bar,
- 33:26Speaker 2: the bar should be very high for that. It is,
- 33:28Speaker 2: and that's what leads me to think that the best
- 33:31Speaker 2: kind of like kind of like Hillary, you know, locker
- 33:33Speaker 2: up that was never going to happen. The court of
- 33:35Speaker 2: public opinion weighed in, and I think the same court
- 33:37Speaker 2: as will deliver its verdict in Fauci and his reputation
- 33:40Speaker 2: will be deservedly shattered.
- 33:42Speaker 3: We're gonna see and keep tuned and we'll we'll break
- 33:45Speaker 3: it all down tomorrow in the podcast. You know, I've
- 33:48Speaker 3: health COVID safety Weight real important that you take care
- 33:54Speaker 3: of yourselves. You and I both had kind of a
- 33:56Speaker 3: similar experience with some some little bit of a scare
- 33:59Speaker 3: with our heart, good old ticker and the arteries and
- 34:01Speaker 3: all that. And I went and got a body scan,
- 34:03Speaker 3: found out I got a little plaque issue. Very minor.
- 34:06Speaker 3: Going to follow up with the dock and all that.
- 34:08Speaker 3: But one thing that I know is important is we
- 34:11Speaker 3: got to take the weight off. And the way I
- 34:13Speaker 3: took it off and kept it off is PhD weight loss.
- 34:16Speaker 3: PhD weight loss. While great great friends of ours, doctor
- 34:20Speaker 3: Ashley Lucas, the quick fixes all fail. I mean, because
- 34:23Speaker 3: when your body thinks it's under stress, it slows your metabolism.
- 34:26Speaker 3: It holds onto the fat fights you every step of
- 34:29Speaker 3: the way. Even these shots, even the GLP one shots
- 34:32Speaker 3: and meds, they suppress appetite, but they don't fix what
- 34:35Speaker 3: caused the problem to begin with. Well, PhDe weight loss
- 34:37Speaker 3: focuses on restoring your metabolism so your body stops fighting you.
- 34:41Speaker 3: That's when the real change begins. I lost over fifty
- 34:44Speaker 3: pounds and let me tell you quick personal and it dood.
- 34:47Speaker 3: I probably shouldn't admit this because I always kind of
- 34:49Speaker 3: carry my weight pretty well, A lot of people don't.
- 34:51Speaker 3: You can see me, and I don't look as heavy
- 34:53Speaker 3: as sometimes I actually am on the scale. I got
- 34:57Speaker 3: sloppy in the last six months or so. I was
- 34:59Speaker 3: traveling a I got reckless, and I put on some weight.
- 35:04Speaker 3: I've lost twenty pounds in about well a little over
- 35:07Speaker 3: four weeks now on the kitchen, I'm in the PhD
- 35:10Speaker 3: program works. I was never hungry. I am never hungry.
- 35:13Speaker 3: If I can lose all that weight you can. To
- 35:15Speaker 3: mention Mike and Mark, you're gonna get two free weeks
- 35:18Speaker 3: added to the program. They'll pay for the cost of
- 35:20Speaker 3: your food eight sixty four six four four nineteen hundred
- 35:24Speaker 3: eight sixty four six four four nineteen hundred or visit
- 35:27Speaker 3: myphdeweightloss dot com myphdeweightloss dot com. We are thrilled to
- 35:32Speaker 3: have PhD weight loss as part of the M and
- 35:35Speaker 3: M Extra family because Mark, it feels like we're adding
- 35:38Speaker 3: friends and sponsors and companies and streaming services. Every day we're.
- 35:43Speaker 2: Doing is solving all kinds of people's problems, people's difficulties.
- 35:47Speaker 2: Got weight to lose, there's PhDe weight loss looking at
- 35:49Speaker 2: the popular culture and finding that it's a landmine. You
- 35:52Speaker 2: can't can't find anything that's safe for the family to
- 35:54Speaker 2: watch or that won't rot the kids' brains. There's Echo
- 35:57Speaker 2: dot com, ekkl Echo dot com podcasts, movies, shows, and
- 36:02Speaker 2: a lot of times people think, well because a lot
- 36:05Speaker 2: of some of the family friendly, faith based entertainment can
- 36:07Speaker 2: be a little sappy, and it's maybe and it's well meaning,
- 36:10Speaker 2: but it ain't the greatest stuff in the world. This
- 36:12Speaker 2: is the Robertsons behind this. It's the Duck Dynasty Vibe.
- 36:14Speaker 2: Duck Dynascese was not just one a safe show to
- 36:17Speaker 2: watch in a wonderful family and wonderful faithfilled people. But
- 36:20Speaker 2: they were funny. They were genuinely funny, they were smart.
- 36:23Speaker 2: The whole thing was entertaining. And that's exactly what you
- 36:25Speaker 2: find at Echo dot com. And it doesn't all involve
- 36:28Speaker 2: the Robertson clan. Some it's the God's Not Dead movie franchise.
- 36:31Speaker 2: It's various other podcasts and shows and movies. Some of
- 36:35Speaker 2: it faith based, some of it just stories that don't
- 36:37Speaker 2: contain a bunch of sex and violence and things that
- 36:39Speaker 2: are bad for families. It's a great place to find
- 36:41Speaker 2: great entertainment Echo, ekkl, Echo dot com.
- 36:44Speaker 3: I get it all for five eighty three a month,
- 36:46Speaker 3: so getting started is so easy. You can sign up
- 36:48Speaker 3: today and get ready to be part of something really special.
- 36:52Speaker 3: As Mark said, you got to Echo dot com and
- 36:55Speaker 3: this is entertainment that you're gonna love. Everybody will enjoy it.
- 36:59Speaker 3: Echol dot com, e k k L dot com. Mark,
- 37:04Speaker 3: can we end with us speaking of faith and family
- 37:07Speaker 3: and spiritual matters? Can I share with you how how
- 37:10Speaker 3: how prayer works sometimes? I mean, I mean, look, it
- 37:14Speaker 3: always works, but sometimes you don't get the outcome that
- 37:16Speaker 3: you hope for. Correct. You and I have both partnered
- 37:19Speaker 3: over the years. We traveled to Guatemala together for Food
- 37:23Speaker 3: for the Poor. It was one of my happiest memories
- 37:24Speaker 3: seeing you and Lisa and Ethan, this great kid, your
- 37:29Speaker 3: beautiful bride, and and the way you guys interacted with
- 37:32Speaker 3: those poor poor people feeding kids and we were holding
- 37:36Speaker 3: them in our arms. And July was a month on
- 37:39Speaker 3: my talk show to to support Food for the Poor
- 37:43Speaker 3: and the ministry that they do. They feed starving families
- 37:49Speaker 3: and clothe and hows poor people all over the Western hemisphere.
- 37:54Speaker 3: And look, I didn't I didn't pull any punches. This week.
- 37:57Speaker 3: We were entering the final week of the campaign and
- 38:00Speaker 3: we were really behind, and I was really I was
- 38:04Speaker 3: really stressed, and I started I turned it over to God.
- 38:07Speaker 3: We started Monday. Let me give you. Let me just
- 38:09Speaker 3: give you some quick numbers. Because you are a then
- 38:12Speaker 3: diagram guy or no, is that what you call it?
- 38:14Speaker 3: What do you always say? You love to say? I
- 38:16Speaker 3: love float charts, flight, here's what art. So here's the
- 38:19Speaker 3: float chart. The goal was forty six thousand dollars. We
- 38:23Speaker 3: had a four week campaign that ends this week. I
- 38:27Speaker 3: started the day yesterday with about twenty three twenty four
- 38:31Speaker 3: thousand dollars raised of a forty six thousand dollars goal.
- 38:34Speaker 3: So we were just barely over halfway. And we had
- 38:37Speaker 3: a meeting. We said, well, too bad. We did our best,
- 38:40Speaker 3: but this year we're not going to get there. Mark,
- 38:43Speaker 3: do you know? I prayed. I prayed on the air.
- 38:46Speaker 3: I prayed like you do every day on your show.
- 38:49Speaker 3: And we had like people blue the doors open, like
- 38:53Speaker 3: over ten thousand dollars in the small individual donors. Yesterday
- 38:57Speaker 3: today I saw that we were at thirty six thousand
- 39:00Speaker 3: dollars of our forty six thousand dollars goal ten thousand
- 39:04Speaker 3: away phone raise. Tracy and Alex pick up lady by
- 39:10Speaker 3: the name of Gail in Florida. She tells Tracy, you know,
- 39:14Speaker 3: I was kind of on the fence. I wanted to
- 39:15Speaker 3: make a nice, big donation because I love food for
- 39:17Speaker 3: the poor. I appreciate what they do. I want to
- 39:20Speaker 3: do some a little bit of God's work here. And
- 39:22Speaker 3: she said, I was on the fence, but then I
- 39:24Speaker 3: heard Mike Pray on his show with that daily prayer
- 39:28Speaker 3: that he, like Mike Mark, has introduced to his audience.
- 39:32Speaker 3: She said, that did it for me. Here's twenty five
- 39:35Speaker 3: thousand dollars. She made an ello. She made an online
- 39:38Speaker 3: donation already been processed of twenty five thousand dollars. We
- 39:44Speaker 3: now have like well over sixty thousand rays against our
- 39:48Speaker 3: forty six thousand dollars goal. And Mark, I give it
- 39:51Speaker 3: all up to the Lord. It's prayers. It was bad,
- 39:55Speaker 3: isn't that? Isn't that incredible? That is simple. I'm so
- 39:58Speaker 3: glad you shared that. I feel honored to have heard that.
- 40:02Speaker 3: And I because I know your Your campaigns are always
- 40:04Speaker 3: so successful and I always enjoyed doing them, and we
- 40:06Speaker 3: have great success in doing things. But every once in
- 40:08Speaker 3: a while there'll be a moment where it's like, you know,
- 40:10Speaker 3: might need a little help getting across the finish line.
- 40:12Speaker 3: And there's no better place to ask for that help
- 40:14Speaker 3: than Amen. With God, all things are possible, and He's
- 40:19Speaker 3: in control, and we are both profoundly grateful to get
- 40:22Speaker 3: to do this every single day. If you haven't noticed,
- 40:25Speaker 3: Mark and I kind of enjoy this podcast. If you haven't,
- 40:29Speaker 3: haven't sensed.
- 40:30Speaker 2: It, it's nutty, it's absolutely nutty.
- 40:34Speaker 3: You know what you gave me today. You know what
- 40:35Speaker 3: you gave me today? I FB envy. Oh okay, my
- 40:39Speaker 3: new portable. If you look at are you are you wearing?
- 40:41Speaker 3: Are you wearing this?
- 40:42Speaker 2: Show? Show me to show me the box?
- 40:43Speaker 3: This This plugs right under your belt. Look at me.
- 40:46Speaker 3: I can walk anywhere I want. There's no wire, there's
- 40:48Speaker 3: no tail. I don't know. It's a little bit.
- 40:50Speaker 2: Now here's here, here's the nineteen fifties TV studio. No,
- 40:54Speaker 2: it's kind of funny, it's it's perfectly good technology. So
- 40:57Speaker 2: I've got this. I'll turn. Can you see the thing
- 40:59Speaker 2: in my Yeah?
- 41:00Speaker 3: I got it.
- 41:01Speaker 2: Then there's a little coily thing and now here I'm
- 41:03Speaker 2: gonna unplug it for a minute. So I hear you
- 41:05Speaker 2: and it's up there.
- 41:06Speaker 3: It goes hard wired. It's it's attached to that.
- 41:10Speaker 2: So if I get to go, you know, like you know,
- 41:12Speaker 2: if I get to go pee or something like that,
- 41:13Speaker 2: I got to pick that up, drag it with me.
- 41:15Speaker 2: It's going to hook on the chair. I'll go and
- 41:18Speaker 2: I'll yank my head off because it's going to hook
- 41:19Speaker 2: on the arm or the wheel of the chair. But
- 41:22Speaker 2: now wireless Mike has that thing. Can I ask how
- 41:26Speaker 2: much that boy?
- 41:27Speaker 3: We'll get it for you. Don't worry. We're going to
- 41:29Speaker 3: get it to you. You need one the company. If
- 41:32Speaker 3: I got well, we'll get it for you. We'll figure out.
- 41:35Speaker 2: Well, look at the time, I've.
- 41:36Speaker 3: Got I've got ways. I have these to get you
- 41:39Speaker 3: on i f V.
- 41:40Speaker 2: So what we have is we have they're they're they're
- 41:43Speaker 2: like three layers of how you can do this. You
- 41:46Speaker 2: can kick you can kick it old school. This is
- 41:49Speaker 2: me on radio wearing these big bad boys. This is
- 41:54Speaker 2: what you get for eminem radio, because that's what I
- 41:56Speaker 2: need for the superior fidelity of radio. But then I
- 42:00Speaker 2: cast all that aside. I slapped the old school I
- 42:04Speaker 2: f b in my ear for the that'd be louder.
- 42:09Speaker 2: And that's how we go there. And then then then
- 42:11Speaker 2: yesterday Mike reveals to me that he's got this this
- 42:13Speaker 2: wireless do dad thing where he's not hooked up to anything,
- 42:17Speaker 2: he just magically hears wireless.
- 42:19Speaker 3: Well, it's all filled with that. I feel like the
- 42:22Speaker 3: robot in Lost in Space. I mean, I got and
- 42:24Speaker 3: I got wires, I'm clipped and I'm attached, and I
- 42:27Speaker 3: got crap coming out of my ears and my my,
- 42:30Speaker 3: you know what, and look, and you got to be
- 42:32Speaker 3: careful with this wireless technology. Back in the day when
- 42:35Speaker 3: I used to be a Fox News Channel contributor, I
- 42:38Speaker 3: I guest hosted the Fox and Friends Weekend show a
- 42:42Speaker 3: few times, which was fun and it was a good gig,
- 42:44Speaker 3: and I did all kinds of stuff. But they wire
- 42:47Speaker 3: you wirelessly with your mic and your I f B,
- 42:50Speaker 3: so both your earpiece and your microphone is all clamped
- 42:54Speaker 3: to your body and it's always on. Well, I went
- 42:56Speaker 3: in the bathroom and I forget who it was who
- 43:02Speaker 3: warned me. They said, Mike, you know they can hear you, right,
- 43:06Speaker 3: I said, oh, my lord, in the bathroom, They said, well, yeah,
- 43:09Speaker 3: you're wearing a mic dummy and you got your ear.
- 43:11Speaker 2: Oh my god, that's tremendous. Lordy, I hope they are tapes. Lordy,
- 43:16Speaker 2: I hope they are tapes. This will be our last.
- 43:19Speaker 2: There's tapes of this. Everybody can watch us on tape, lay,
- 43:24Speaker 2: live stream, crowd Wow, we love you, sidebar people commenting
- 43:27Speaker 2: right now, we love you. But if somebody's driving around
- 43:30Speaker 2: on a Tuesday afternoon, do an Apple and Spotify, we
- 43:33Speaker 2: don't love you any less? Should we really appreciate everybody
- 43:36Speaker 2: no matter how YouTube apples Spotify find us, like us,
- 43:39Speaker 2: subscribe to us because you should be having at least
- 43:41Speaker 2: as much fun as we are. And I just love you,
- 43:43Speaker 2: my friend. And let's see what we can do tomorrow
- 43:45Speaker 2: for a while.
- 43:45Speaker 3: News will you tomorrow? Everybody
